- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven to R Boy, the Mark Simoon Show starts. Now, Hey,
- 0:11Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to today. We'll get
- 0:14Speaker 1: to President Trump. He's leaving for China in a couple
- 0:16Speaker 1: of hours. We'll get to Iran. We'll get to the terrible,
- 0:21Speaker 1: awful anti Semitic attacks that have been taking place in
- 0:25Speaker 1: New York, in London, but especially here in New York,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and a mayor that's doing absolutely nothing about it. Lots
- 0:31Speaker 1: to get to today. We'll get to prices are going
- 0:34Speaker 1: to be coming down on a few things. President Trump
- 0:37Speaker 1: has given Democrats a new name. You know, he's great
- 0:40Speaker 1: at nicknaming people Pocahontas and Sleepy Joe and low energy Jeb.
- 0:46Speaker 1: He's now calling them democrats, dum democrats. So let's all
- 0:53Speaker 1: do that from now on, just say democrats, not Democrats. Democrats.
- 0:57Speaker 1: President unleashing that yesterday on truth Social So from now on,
- 1:02Speaker 1: it's Democrats Democrats. And the poster boy obviously would be
- 1:06Speaker 1: Hakeem Jeffries, very very low IQ guy, and the minority
- 1:13Speaker 1: the Democrat minority leader. So he's going to leave for
- 1:19Speaker 1: China in a little while. Now, if you read the
- 1:21Speaker 1: fake news, follow the fake news, watch the fake news.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You are led to believe that he's going to China.
- 1:26Speaker 1: This is going to be a rough trip. He has
- 1:28Speaker 1: no leverage, and he's going to look weak. I've been
- 1:32Speaker 1: hearing that word weak. He weak in front of China,
- 1:34Speaker 1: no leverage weak, weak weak. The opposite is true. China's
- 1:40Speaker 1: economy is not very strong. It's it's a little bit
- 1:44Speaker 1: of trouble. Their economy is weak right now. Our economy
- 1:47Speaker 1: is booming, the stock market, earnings, corporations, jobs, everything. There's
- 1:52Speaker 1: a little spike and gas prices due to the Iran conflict,
- 1:55Speaker 1: but otherwise the economy is in phenomenal shape. We're taken
- 1:59Speaker 1: in more more money than ever before. We're pumping more
- 2:02Speaker 1: oil than we've ever pumped. We're now pumping more oil
- 2:05Speaker 1: than anybody in the world with the biggest exporter. The
- 2:08Speaker 1: economy is booming. China's economy is weak. It's fragile right now.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It's not, you know, in real trouble, but it's close.
- 2:17Speaker 1: It's close. It's not strong right now. And China's got
- 2:21Speaker 1: a problem with the Iran conflict. Half their oil comes
- 2:24Speaker 1: from Iran, so they've lost fifty percent of their supply.
- 2:27Speaker 1: So actually Trump has a lot of leverage. It's China
- 2:30Speaker 1: that really has no leverage right now. They need the
- 2:33Speaker 1: Iran conflict settled a lot more than we do. So
- 2:36Speaker 1: he's going to China. He'll leave this afternoon. The big
- 2:39Speaker 1: meetings to take them Today's Tuesday. You know, by the
- 2:42Speaker 1: time he gets there, it's tomorrow night. So the big
- 2:44Speaker 1: meetings are on Thursday. With them, he's taking with him
- 2:47Speaker 1: a lot of big CEOs, Tim Cook of Apple, Elon Musk,
- 2:52Speaker 1: the CEO of Boeing. One reason you take these guys
- 2:55Speaker 1: is you want to help them get business. You want
- 2:57Speaker 1: to help them get contracts. You want to help Boeing
- 3:00Speaker 1: sell a lot of planes over there in China. Tim
- 3:02Speaker 1: Cook already does a lot of business in China, but
- 3:06Speaker 1: so it should be a pretty successful trip. Hey, Bill,
- 3:09Speaker 1: O'reilly'll be with us later in the second hour. Now
- 3:12Speaker 1: he went to China. He's been through this in the
- 3:15Speaker 1: last few months, so he can tell you all about
- 3:17Speaker 1: what it's like in China and what the problems are
- 3:19Speaker 1: when you get there. You can't bring your phone because
- 3:22Speaker 1: they'll embed stuff in your phone, you can't bring your computer. Well,
- 3:26Speaker 1: he'll tell us all about it. The surveillance they do
- 3:29Speaker 1: on you it's really eerie. Anyway, we'll get to that
- 3:32Speaker 1: coming up. President Trump wants to call Ice nice. It's
- 3:38Speaker 1: Immigration and Customs reforms, that's why it's Ice. He wants
- 3:41Speaker 1: to add National Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Just change the
- 3:46Speaker 1: name instead of Immigration Customs and Enforcement national Immigration Customs
- 3:52Speaker 1: and Enforcement. And that way it would be nice and
- 3:56Speaker 1: the Democrats would have to call it nice. Now. The problem,
- 4:01Speaker 1: the only problem I hear the people in Ice, the
- 4:03Speaker 1: officers don't want it to say nice on their hat.
- 4:06Speaker 1: They don't want it to say nice. You know, these
- 4:09Speaker 1: are tough warriors. They don't want to say nice on
- 4:13Speaker 1: the front of their jacket. But he's thinking of changing
- 4:16Speaker 1: the name.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I wanted to change the name of Ice, which is
- 4:21Speaker 2: tough name, you know, to nice so that when the
- 4:25Speaker 2: fake news reports they said it was a nice day
- 4:30Speaker 2: with Nice.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Well, it would be good to do, just to drive
- 4:34Speaker 1: the left crazy, just to make them completely nuts. Now,
- 4:38Speaker 1: price of oil, it is up, but the President has
- 4:41Speaker 1: proposed a lot of stuff. There's things you can do
- 4:43Speaker 1: to lower I mean, as soon as the war or
- 4:45Speaker 1: whatever it is in Iran ends, the price will plunge.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It will plunge to it Probably the lowest point in
- 4:53Speaker 1: zillions of years. But until that point, you can you
- 4:56Speaker 1: can give some relief. You can remove the gas tax.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna reduce until they. Let me tell you,
- 5:03Speaker 2: as soon as this is over with Iran. As soon
- 5:06Speaker 2: as it's over, you're gonna see gasoline and oil drop
- 5:11Speaker 2: like a rock.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah. So he is talking about getting rid of the
- 5:15Speaker 1: gas tax for a while. It's about eighteen and a
- 5:17Speaker 1: half cents a gallon and it brings in about forty
- 5:21Speaker 1: billion in annual revenue, goes to the Highway Trust Fund.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But you could suspend it for a month or two.
- 5:26Speaker 1: That's not hard to do. So that's about eighteen cents
- 5:28Speaker 1: a gallon you're paying when you buy a gallon of gas,
- 5:30Speaker 1: you're paying about a dollar of it in taxes federal, state,
- 5:35Speaker 1: local tax. You know, despite what you think the oil companies,
- 5:38Speaker 1: they really don't make that much. Now, the gas station
- 5:42Speaker 1: on a gallon of gas, the net profit to a
- 5:46Speaker 1: gas station on a gallon is about five cents. So
- 5:49Speaker 1: out of that four bucks, the gas station is only
- 5:52Speaker 1: getting about five cents. They get a little more, but
- 5:54Speaker 1: I'm talking about net profit because their costs are really high.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You know, a gas station is huge, huge overhead costs.
- 6:03Speaker 1: The margins are high. Big overhead costs, you know, like
- 6:05Speaker 1: credit card fees, labor, transport, reduce their profit. You know.
- 6:10Speaker 1: In many of those gas stations, the gas is actually
- 6:13Speaker 1: a lost leader. In many of those gas stations, the
- 6:15Speaker 1: station isn't even making a profit. They make all their
- 6:18Speaker 1: money when you go in. You know, it's a convenience
- 6:20Speaker 1: store too. It's when you buy something there where they
- 6:22Speaker 1: make most of their money. So if you just pull
- 6:24Speaker 1: and get your gas and leave, you're not one of
- 6:27Speaker 1: their favorite customers. If you come there inside and buy
- 6:29Speaker 1: some stuff, you're really helping them out. Now, the oil companies,
- 6:32Speaker 1: how much do they make on a gallon of gas? Well,
- 6:35Speaker 1: it depends on where you are in the country, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's about ten to thirty cents the oil companies, that's
- 6:42Speaker 1: the net profit. Now, remember their costs are very high,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you know, like it costs them like fifty percent of
- 6:48Speaker 1: the price just to refine the gas and all that stuff.
- 6:51Speaker 1: So on a gallon of gas, the oil company only
- 6:53Speaker 1: makes about ten to thirty cents and the rest of
- 6:56Speaker 1: that is mostly taxes and fees all that sort of stuff.
- 6:59Speaker 1: So the president wants to cut the federal gas tax.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That'll bring some relief. And then the other thing, you
- 7:04Speaker 1: can release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. He was
- 7:08Speaker 1: talking about releasing fifteen million barrels. So far we only
- 7:12Speaker 1: released four million barrels four million. But the reason it's
- 7:17Speaker 1: going so the release is slow is we don't have
- 7:20Speaker 1: enough pipelines to get it all out there. We're limited
- 7:24Speaker 1: on the pipeline, so they're releasing it as fast as
- 7:25Speaker 1: they can. So you could release fifteen even forty million.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You could release forty million barrels. This talk of even
- 7:31Speaker 1: doing that flood the market with forty million barrels. Now
- 7:34Speaker 1: you can do it because the Strategic Petroleum Reserve has
- 7:38Speaker 1: over four hundred million barrels in it and this is
- 7:42Speaker 1: what it's for in a time of war if you
- 7:44Speaker 1: need it, so you can you could easily do forty million.
- 7:46Speaker 1: He's also going to lower prices on some other things.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You know, if you go to a steakhouse, and steak
- 7:52Speaker 1: was always high priced, you know, as steak fifty dollars.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Now when you go to steakhouse seventy five dollars, eighty dollars,
- 7:58Speaker 1: ninety five dollars, a h hundred dollars for a steak.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And by the way, the restaurant is not gouging. In
- 8:05Speaker 1: most cases, the big fancy steakhouse and the steaks one
- 8:08Speaker 1: hundred dollars, they're not making any profit on it. Yeah,
- 8:11Speaker 1: believe it or not, they're costs. They're paying like ninety
- 8:14Speaker 1: three dollars for the steak, and then the rest of
- 8:17Speaker 1: that goes to staff, rent, all that sort of stuff.
- 8:21Speaker 1: So when you ordered one hundred dollars steak, they're really
- 8:23Speaker 1: not so thrilled. If you order the side, order the broccoli,
- 8:27Speaker 1: then you're doing them a favor. The broccoli they can
- 8:29Speaker 1: charge you fifteen dollars for and it probably cost them
- 8:32Speaker 1: thirty cents. So all the profit now is in the
- 8:35Speaker 1: side dishes. But the reason the price of steak went
- 8:39Speaker 1: so crazy is the shortage of cattle. It's been a
- 8:42Speaker 1: huge cattle shortage. The cattle supply, the cattle herd is
- 8:46Speaker 1: down to a seventy five year low. Part of it
- 8:50Speaker 1: was record drought and higher production costs and all sorts
- 8:54Speaker 1: of disease and illness that went through the American cattle.
- 8:58Speaker 1: So the President is going to do an executive order
- 9:01Speaker 1: that will temporarily suspend all tariffs on imported beef. So
- 9:06Speaker 1: the first step, he's going to get a lot more
- 9:08Speaker 1: imported beef in here. That will lower the price short term,
- 9:11Speaker 1: allow a lot more imported beef to come in. Long term,
- 9:15Speaker 1: they're trying to increase the herds right now. So he's
- 9:18Speaker 1: rolling back all these crazy regulations protections so the cattle
- 9:23Speaker 1: people can start raising more cattle. There's been another problem.
- 9:27Speaker 1: The ranchers are forced to do all kinds of things.
- 9:31Speaker 1: They got to put electronic ear tags on all cattle
- 9:34Speaker 1: and all that stuff. There's problems with the grass that
- 9:37Speaker 1: the cattle graze on. They have to all kinds of regulations.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You're going to lift a lot of them. But the
- 9:42Speaker 1: other problem is extremely dry conditions that drought reduce the
- 9:45Speaker 1: amount of grass available for grazing. So but the president
- 9:50Speaker 1: working on it. He'll bring the price of beef down.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Price of eggs is already down. He's got that down.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And yeah, beef prices up almost fifty just in the
- 10:01Speaker 1: last five years. So yeah, so hey, the World Cup
- 10:09Speaker 1: is coming to the United States and everybody's already complaining
- 10:14Speaker 1: about the prices, you know, thousands of ticket and then
- 10:16Speaker 1: but it starts June eleventh in Mexico City and then
- 10:21Speaker 1: it comes here. But people, I'm looking at some of
- 10:23Speaker 1: the things they're selling online. You know, there's seats that
- 10:25Speaker 1: are going for thirty three thousand dollars July nineteenth, MetLife Stadium.
- 10:32Speaker 1: There's some seats for thirty three thousand dollars. So this
- 10:37Speaker 1: is like sports meets met Gala. Just preposterous, ludicrous, irrational prices.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's triple the cost of the most expensive ticket ever
- 10:47Speaker 1: sold before. Even if you just want a regular seat,
- 10:50Speaker 1: it's going to be about two thousand, three thousand, absolutely ridiculous.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I mean, they'll probably get people to pay for it,
- 10:56Speaker 1: So I guess we're wrong. I guess they can get
- 10:58Speaker 1: away with it. They can get away with it. Hey,
- 11:02Speaker 1: James Komy, the totally dirtiest FBI director ever, James Komy
- 11:08Speaker 1: big interview yesterday. I guess where he chose for the interview, Yeah,
- 11:12Speaker 1: MSNBC or MS whatever the hell it's called now, And
- 11:16Speaker 1: he went after Trump, saying he has a bottomless desire
- 11:20Speaker 1: to gain revenge. He's using the DOJ to target his
- 11:24Speaker 1: enemies from the guy who set the all time record
- 11:29Speaker 1: from using the Justice Department to target enemies. He started
- 11:32Speaker 1: with Trump, and then they went after anybody anything with Trump.
- 11:35Speaker 1: He's the guy Komy that pushed that crazy, ridiculous Russia hoax.
- 11:41Speaker 1: He was the FBI director. He was so deep into
- 11:44Speaker 1: that Russian dossier that he knew it was fake. He
- 11:47Speaker 1: knew it was a fraud, he knew it was based
- 11:49Speaker 1: on nothing, he knew it was paid for by Hillary Clinton.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Yet he still went ahead on it and pushed that
- 11:56Speaker 1: Russia hoax and nothing. Then tried to blackmail the president
- 11:59Speaker 1: the first time he met him, showed him all this
- 12:01Speaker 1: disgusting stuff he had on him. Just a real Jay
- 12:04Speaker 1: Edgar Hoover, but actually worse Jay Edgar Hoover had a
- 12:08Speaker 1: limit on it on how much you would do this.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Call me a really, really bad guy. So the fact
- 12:12Speaker 1: that he's doing these interviews means he's trying to do
- 12:15Speaker 1: some damage control. I think I guess he realizes he
- 12:19Speaker 1: does have a problem. Hey, you know, sixty Minutes landed
- 12:22Speaker 1: a big interview with Benjamin net Yahoo, and sixty Minutes
- 12:26Speaker 1: was stunned when the new CBS News president Barry Wise
- 12:30Speaker 1: stepped in and decided the interview the big, exclusive, big
- 12:34Speaker 1: interview with Benjamin Nett, Yahoo would be done by Major Garrett,
- 12:40Speaker 1: not by the sixty Minutes All Stars, not by Leslie Stall.
- 12:44Speaker 1: They were unbelievably livid. They were furious, they were fuming
- 12:47Speaker 1: at sixty minutes. She handed it to Major Garrett. Why
- 12:51Speaker 1: because he's more of a real, real journalist, more of
- 12:54Speaker 1: a real neutral sort of a reporter, would ask all
- 12:57Speaker 1: the good questions, all the legitimate questions. Remember, Leslie Stall
- 13:01Speaker 1: has a history of lying in interviews, rigging interviews. The
- 13:05Speaker 1: most famous one was the Trump interview where he talked
- 13:08Speaker 1: about their surveillance on my campaign in twenty fifteen sixteen,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and she never screaming at him, that's not true, that's
- 13:15Speaker 1: not true. There's no evidence. Well, of course it was true,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and there was evidence of it. It was later proven,
- 13:20Speaker 1: so she was totally wrong. And every time she's interviewed
- 13:23Speaker 1: President Trump, he kind of enjoys it. He doesn't like
- 13:27Speaker 1: easy interviews, he likes those fake news. He likes fighting
- 13:30Speaker 1: with him. But every time she's interviewed him, she's made
- 13:32Speaker 1: up all kinds of crap instead of just trying to
- 13:35Speaker 1: get information out of him, to try to catch him
- 13:37Speaker 1: in things, accusing of things, So it's not a real interview.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You need. Barry Weis's absolutely right, So we're can give
- 13:43Speaker 1: it to an actual, neutral, legitimate reporter anchor, So Major
- 13:48Speaker 1: Garrett will do the interview. The anti Semitic attacks will
- 13:52Speaker 1: get to that coming up. It's a real problem. It's
- 13:54Speaker 1: out of control in London. Thousands of thousands of Jews
- 13:58Speaker 1: actually march, good, good organizing, demanding the government do something
- 14:04Speaker 1: about it. But it happened in New York. It's happening
- 14:06Speaker 1: in New York yesterday, out of control at a synagogue
- 14:10Speaker 1: in Brooklyn. The mayor, this is the number one responsibility
- 14:15Speaker 1: of the mayor to speak out, to do something when
- 14:17Speaker 1: stuff like this happens. He's nowhere to be found. The
- 14:21Speaker 1: police tried to do what they could, but you know,
- 14:24Speaker 1: sometimes their handcuff more than the criminals. And they got
- 14:27Speaker 1: to start. And the mayor's got to do this. He's
- 14:29Speaker 1: got if you're going to have these kind of violent,
- 14:31Speaker 1: crazy anti Semitic and thanks Democrats for unleashing this crap
- 14:35Speaker 1: on us, but if you're going to have those kind
- 14:38Speaker 1: of protesters, you gotta the city has to enforce all
- 14:41Speaker 1: this stuff. You got to set up a barrier. You know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: if the synagogue is here, the barriers over there. They're
- 14:46Speaker 1: across the street. They can yell and scream. They have
- 14:48Speaker 1: the right to protest, hold up their signs, yell and scream,
- 14:52Speaker 1: but across the street, so they can't menace, hurt, or
- 14:55Speaker 1: do anything to the people going in and out of
- 14:58Speaker 1: the synagogue. So may still silent on this. It's just awful. Anyway,
- 15:02Speaker 1: we'll get back to that. We've got a lot to
- 15:03Speaker 1: talk about. We'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three
- 15:07Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred
- 15:11Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:15Speaker 3: It is in.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Access to Mark by setting a pre set in the
- 15:18Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast. Now
- 15:22Speaker 1: back to the Mark Dumos show on woor Hey, what's
- 15:28Speaker 1: going on here? A couple of open lines, Yeah, there's
- 15:32Speaker 1: a few open lines. Call me. Eight hundred three two
- 15:35Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 15:38Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Tom and
- 15:41Speaker 1: Queen's Tom. How you doing, Hey, Mark? Good morning, Mark?
- 15:46Speaker 4: Yeah, listening to Bill O'Reilly and he mentioned he thinks
- 15:51Speaker 4: that the guest companies are gouging the consumers. Could you
- 15:56Speaker 4: ask him about that?
- 15:57Speaker 1: Well, I just I just gave you actual numbers. Those
- 16:00Speaker 1: are the numbers, all right.
- 16:03Speaker 4: But he's got his own thoughts about it.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You can have your own thoughts, but I just gave
- 16:07Speaker 1: you the actual numbers. That's that's the best thing you
- 16:09Speaker 1: can do. Okay, But I mean, the one thing you
- 16:13Speaker 1: could argue is they raised the prices to match the
- 16:16Speaker 1: worldwide prices when they don't have to. But yeah, but
- 16:20Speaker 1: I don't know. You know, if you if you made
- 16:22Speaker 1: them put it back down to what it should be,
- 16:24Speaker 1: they'll just they'll just drill less. They'll just pump less
- 16:26Speaker 1: oil and create a short and raise them that way.
- 16:29Speaker 1: But the numbers, I gave you the actual numbers and
- 16:31Speaker 1: on what they're making, and it's it's about usual. But
- 16:34Speaker 1: they did raise the price to match the world wide prices.
- 16:38Speaker 1: So let's go to Joe and Elmwood Park. Joe, how
- 16:41Speaker 1: you doing, Joe? You're there. I hear you're breathing. Joe.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Oh there, we woke them up. Yes, go ahead, Joe,
- 16:55Speaker 1: Mark I we'll.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Talk about the World Cup. I don't really I'm not
- 16:59Speaker 5: a soccer fan, but it's twelve fifty for a ticket
- 17:03Speaker 5: and our dummy says one hundred and fifty. But now
- 17:05Speaker 5: she's doing its a favorite.
- 17:06Speaker 3: One hundred and five.
- 17:07Speaker 1: We're talking about the World Cup.
- 17:10Speaker 5: The bus tickets, okay, oh with the bus tickets, yeah yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 5: And one thing real fast, Alc, you have to stop
- 17:17Speaker 5: calling her a bartender. I don't think she has a
- 17:19Speaker 5: mentality be a bartender. It's an insult every bartender.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Well, that's true. You know, I'm thinking about this, the
- 17:25Speaker 1: arguing about the bus prices to get there. But if you,
- 17:29Speaker 1: as I said, the ticket to this MetLife tickets that
- 17:32Speaker 1: are thirty three thousand dollars, If you're paying thirty three
- 17:35Speaker 1: thousand a seat, I don't think you're taking the bus probably,
- 17:40Speaker 1: but well you might because it's a traffic nightmare getting
- 17:44Speaker 1: in and out of there. This is going to just
- 17:46Speaker 1: disrupt all of us all over in New York. Let's
- 17:49Speaker 1: go to Max in Manhattan. Max.
- 17:50Speaker 6: How you doing, Mark Michael? You know I can trust
- 17:56Speaker 6: you because you take phone calls. I mean agree, you're
- 17:59Speaker 6: just but there are a lot of a lot of
- 18:01Speaker 6: talks who are not taking phone calls. I sit in
- 18:03Speaker 6: the morning, Larry Kudlow.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I know, well a minute now, most morning shows don't
- 18:08Speaker 1: take a lot of phone calls. It's different when you're
- 18:10Speaker 1: on in the morning.
- 18:12Speaker 6: They can they can put at least decided five minutes
- 18:16Speaker 6: for the whole show for a couple of questions.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Okay, but I'll be honest. I don't take a lot.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I take calls one minute an hour, two minutes an hour.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Now, but look look at ment you in the morning
- 18:26Speaker 6: with with Curtis. They could use some phone calls to
- 18:28Speaker 6: straighten the mind.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Well they I gotta be honest. Well, they do their
- 18:32Speaker 1: own version, which is they do the what do you
- 18:35Speaker 1: call that talk back? So that's basically phone calls. It's
- 18:38Speaker 1: just you're tight for time in the morning. So they
- 18:41Speaker 1: I understand what you're saying. But I got to be honest.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Your phone calls aren't that exciting. Look at you? Did
- 18:46Speaker 1: you have you said anything of interest yet? I think so, okay,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you keep thinking that, Yeah, we don't take a lot
- 18:54Speaker 1: of phone calls because uh uh, and we will love you.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But on's why you get a great call. But most
- 19:00Speaker 1: of the calls I think the president should do this.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I don't think you should do this. I think you
- 19:04Speaker 1: should do this. It's like just a lot of opinions.
- 19:07Speaker 1: It's which we try to stay away, believe or not
- 19:09Speaker 1: We try to stay away from opinions on the show.
- 19:11Speaker 1: We just try to give you information. Here's the facts,
- 19:13Speaker 1: here's the inside scoop, here's what's going on. Phone calls.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It's a nice little touch because we do like to
- 19:19Speaker 1: talk to you. But and as far as the morning shows,
- 19:22Speaker 1: they don't really do phone calls ever in the morning.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And you know, on a talk radio morning show, because
- 19:27Speaker 1: you've got a million things going on. You know, we
- 19:29Speaker 1: just have a newscast at the top of the hour
- 19:31Speaker 1: and at the bottom of me that's about it. But
- 19:33Speaker 1: they got traffic, they got weather, they got sports, they
- 19:35Speaker 1: got so much they got to get into the hour.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Let's go to Let's go to Maria in Terrytown. Maria.
- 19:41Speaker 1: How you doing him?
- 19:43Speaker 7: Mark?
- 19:44Speaker 8: You know, I am so worried about this president and
- 19:48Speaker 8: the entourage of people he's going to China with.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Are we like not?
- 19:54Speaker 8: We're under estimating the danger here. We have all these
- 19:58Speaker 8: capitalists and the president of course, and media, and wouldn't
- 20:04Speaker 8: the Democrats just like to get risen.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but I know what you're saying. But you got
- 20:10Speaker 1: to remember he has a great relationship with President she
- 20:12Speaker 1: of China. We do a lot of business together. China's
- 20:16Speaker 1: economy is not very strong right now. They're pretty dependent
- 20:18Speaker 1: on us for things. And presidents have always traveled that
- 20:22Speaker 1: China's been going on since Nixon and Set nineteen seventy
- 20:26Speaker 1: one or whatever it was, so and they know what
- 20:29Speaker 1: they know how to protect the president over there. Let's
- 20:31Speaker 1: go to Greg and Long Island. Greg, how you doing.
- 20:34Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark. I just wanted to ask, with this
- 20:38Speaker 9: fuel prices the way they are, why doesn't Trump try
- 20:43Speaker 9: to pull the same kind rabbit out of the hat
- 20:46Speaker 9: that President Kennedy did years ago with the steel industry,
- 20:51Speaker 9: where they were going to raise steel prices even more.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Than because as I said before, yeah, they don't have
- 20:57Speaker 1: to match the world price. They could keep the oil
- 20:59Speaker 1: prices here because we produce all our own oil. There's
- 21:01Speaker 1: nothing to do with the rest of the world. We
- 21:02Speaker 1: could keep it steady and you could do it. Kennedy
- 21:05Speaker 1: called in all the heads of the steel companies and
- 21:07Speaker 1: pretty much threaten them. You could do that to the
- 21:10Speaker 1: oil companies, but then they'll just drill less. They'll just
- 21:14Speaker 1: stop drilling. And right now we're producing more oil than
- 21:18Speaker 1: ever before we used Under Biden, we produced four million
- 21:21Speaker 1: barrels a day. Right now, we're doing fourteen million barrels
- 21:24Speaker 1: a day. So if you do that to them, they'll
- 21:26Speaker 1: just cut back production and get the prices up. That way,
- 21:30Speaker 1: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, Good morning matter. This is Uncle Vincent's
- 21:36Speaker 7: idea for bringing down your gas prices. A. Number one,
- 21:40Speaker 7: do not pay with your credit card because most pumps
- 21:44Speaker 7: there's like a tensience difference between if you pay with
- 21:46Speaker 7: your credit card and you pay with case if. Number two,
- 21:51Speaker 7: if you want to see the World Cup and everything
- 21:54Speaker 7: and it's not being carried on American TV, go get
- 21:57Speaker 7: yourself for Rocal TV and get yourself the Italian package
- 22:02Speaker 7: for ten dollars a month and you'll see all the
- 22:04Speaker 7: games you want. I did it the last time, all right.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Number three, Wait, I'm just thinking about this. See. I
- 22:09Speaker 1: like to pump my own gas. I hate and attendant.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So if I want to buy gas and I stick
- 22:15Speaker 1: my credit card and the pump, I pump my gas.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Now.
- 22:18Speaker 1: If I want to pay cash, I gotta go inside.
- 22:20Speaker 1: It takes a lot.
- 22:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I know it's it's a little bit more of
- 22:24Speaker 7: a hassle, but I never use a credit card when
- 22:27Speaker 7: I go buy gas or Vincent.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You got that roll with broccoli rubber band around.
- 22:33Speaker 7: It, exactly the Andy Boy broccoli, the pink one mark.
- 22:38Speaker 7: Another reason why most people don't notice that white beef
- 22:41Speaker 7: prices are so high. Joe Biden put the kebash on.
- 22:45Speaker 7: They were aside from the slaughter when they would bring
- 22:48Speaker 7: the cattle to the slaughter house before the cattle was slaughtered,
- 22:53Speaker 7: they would leave the cattle, the farmer's cattle on the
- 22:56Speaker 7: grounds for so many months to fatten it up before
- 23:00Speaker 7: all were slaughtered. Then Joe Biden put the kebash because
- 23:04Speaker 7: of Gandhi on these places, because of so called cow flatulence.
- 23:11Speaker 7: So we don't have as many of these fat farms
- 23:15Speaker 7: as we used to have. The fatten the catalog. It
- 23:18Speaker 7: was Joe Biden who did that.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Good point, Vincent, excellent call, thanks for calling. Yeah, we'll
- 23:24Speaker 1: talk about this ante. We're going to have John Carney
- 23:28Speaker 1: next to the editor Breitbart Business Digest, the smartest guy
- 23:31Speaker 1: on oil prices, on inflation. We'll get the real story
- 23:35Speaker 1: in a minute. That's coming up next on seven to
- 23:38Speaker 1: ten WR.
- 23:40Speaker 2: He's got the whole city in your radio, Marximo on
- 23:44Speaker 2: seven ten WR.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Well, the brilliant columnist John Carney. He's the editor of
- 23:52Speaker 1: Breitbart Business Digest, which is the best business digest you
- 23:56Speaker 1: can get. You should subscribe to this. You go to
- 23:59Speaker 1: bright bar R dot com, go to Breitbart dot com,
- 24:02Speaker 1: go to newsletters, and then sign up. It's free. Just
- 24:05Speaker 1: sign up with your email and get the bright Bart
- 24:08Speaker 1: Business Digest. The smartest people in the world. Is the
- 24:10Speaker 1: first thing they read every morning. Scott Besson, Treasury secretory, said,
- 24:13Speaker 1: it's the first thing he looks at every morning. Larry Kudlow,
- 24:16Speaker 1: first thing he looks at every morning, the Breitbart Business Digest.
- 24:19Speaker 1: And here's the editor, John Carney.
- 24:21Speaker 3: How you doing very good, Mark, Thanks for having me.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Hey, I know, listen, there's a spike and oil obviously
- 24:28Speaker 1: as a result of Iran, but inflation overall, what the
- 24:33Speaker 1: numbers came out where we stand right now in inflation.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So this was a pretty bad report. Inflation was up
- 24:41Speaker 3: three point eight percent. A huge part of that, over
- 24:45Speaker 3: forty percent of it was driven by energy.
- 24:47Speaker 10: That's ry.
- 24:49Speaker 3: The problem is there's other elements in here that may
- 24:54Speaker 3: be sort of the higher gas prices passing through a
- 25:00Speaker 3: old prices were up, furniture prices were up, one thing
- 25:03Speaker 3: that's definitely energy related. Airline prices are up, there's a
- 25:08Speaker 3: lot of there's food inflation in here. So this is
- 25:11Speaker 3: not what the Trump administration was hoping for. The last
- 25:16Speaker 3: month we had high inflation. It was actually on a
- 25:18Speaker 3: month to month basis, even worse than So the March
- 25:22Speaker 3: report was worse. The April report was bad, but not
- 25:26Speaker 3: quite as bad in terms of the price the price
- 25:30Speaker 3: index jumping. The problem is it looks like in this one,
- 25:34Speaker 3: the prices the inflation is starting to spread a little,
- 25:39Speaker 3: and that's not reassuring. You know, back in March, I
- 25:42Speaker 3: can tell you, and I did tell you that without
- 25:45Speaker 3: a doubt. You know, this was mainly confined to energy.
- 25:49Speaker 1: This was you could.
- 25:50Speaker 3: See it all.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I ran.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Now I'm worried that, you know, two months in what
- 25:55Speaker 3: we saw was the pressure from high energy prices starting
- 26:02Speaker 3: to push up some other prices.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Yeah, in other words, the price of gas. Everything is everything,
- 26:06Speaker 1: and every store is delivered by truck. That brings up
- 26:09Speaker 1: the price energy costs to run your business. So it
- 26:13Speaker 1: could just be the oil goes in.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Remember like petroleum goes into things like like the dies
- 26:19Speaker 3: and paints we use products, It goes into it. You know,
- 26:23Speaker 3: I think our friend Larry Tublo, once you know, figured
- 26:26Speaker 3: out that like ninety percent of the economy is you know,
- 26:29Speaker 3: directly linked to petroleum. If you are looking at much
- 26:34Speaker 3: higher petroleum prices than they are. You know, I looked,
- 26:38Speaker 3: we were down below three dollars a gallon for gasoline
- 26:42Speaker 3: back in mid February. We're now up at four dollars
- 26:45Speaker 3: and fifty cents. This is a you know, this is
- 26:50Speaker 3: going to put pressure. It's also probably hurting some things.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I noticed that the price of new cars is death.
- 26:59Speaker 3: That's probably because people are buying fewer cars. You know,
- 27:03Speaker 3: it's funny, right, because the gas price things only temporary.
- 27:06Speaker 3: But if you look through history, when gas prices go
- 27:10Speaker 3: up by a lot, people don't buy as many new
- 27:13Speaker 3: cars because they think, oh no, right, Like I just can't,
- 27:17Speaker 3: you know, I can't afford right now to be putting
- 27:20Speaker 3: money into the road when I'm putting that much money
- 27:23Speaker 3: into the tank.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So once things are settled in Iran, we think everything
- 27:28Speaker 1: will work out in the end, and then how long
- 27:30Speaker 1: before the prices come down? The present says they'll drop
- 27:33Speaker 1: it run.
- 27:33Speaker 3: We should see, right, we should see gas prices come
- 27:37Speaker 3: down pretty quickly. We're entering into the summer driving months,
- 27:43Speaker 3: which is a time when gas prices usually move up.
- 27:46Speaker 3: People's you know, we're just driving a lot more. They
- 27:48Speaker 3: take their families on road trips. The weather's nice, to
- 27:51Speaker 3: the beach, drive to the mountains. But so they'll come down.
- 27:55Speaker 3: They might not come down to where they were in February,
- 27:58Speaker 3: but they will come down. The problem is, I probably
- 28:04Speaker 3: said this four weeks ago, which was we really need
- 28:08Speaker 3: to get this problem cleared up in the straight of moves.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Oil needs to start passing through there. The tankers need
- 28:16Speaker 3: to pass through there freely. The place that's going to
- 28:20Speaker 3: hit the hardest right now is actually California. Their average
- 28:25Speaker 3: gas prices are above six dollars. Now, that's a couple
- 28:28Speaker 3: of things. They have really high taxes out there, but
- 28:31Speaker 3: they also the climate change activists have prevented us from
- 28:36Speaker 3: doing something that we could easily do, which is build
- 28:39Speaker 3: a pipeline from the Midwest out to California. We have
- 28:43Speaker 3: all this oil we make, but it comes down into
- 28:46Speaker 3: the Gulf of America and it used to be you know,
- 28:50Speaker 3: the Golf of Mexico. It comes down there and there's
- 28:53Speaker 3: no easy way to get it out to California. You know,
- 28:57Speaker 3: this is insane. One hundred fifty years ago we built
- 29:01Speaker 3: a transcontinental railroad.
- 29:03Speaker 6: Right, we have the.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Technology to get over the Rocky mountains or through the desert,
- 29:08Speaker 3: but we for political reasons, we have been prevented from
- 29:12Speaker 3: being able to get that oil out to California. That's
- 29:15Speaker 3: very bad for them. The Californian environmental activists don't want it.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You know, the people all over America will show up
- 29:23Speaker 3: if you try to build one, try to stop you.
- 29:26Speaker 3: And of course the Biden and the Obama administrations just
- 29:30Speaker 3: put the law on their side and said you could
- 29:32Speaker 3: into it. And these things take years to build. So
- 29:35Speaker 3: you know, if it's not enough for Donald Trump to
- 29:38Speaker 3: say we can build the pipeline, because the next Democrat
- 29:42Speaker 3: that comes in, we'll try to stop it. So Congress
- 29:44Speaker 3: actually needs to act and make it clear that pipelines
- 29:47Speaker 3: are legal in a Manica.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Yeah, people don't think about that. If you have to
- 29:50Speaker 1: have the pipeline to get all that oil out to California,
- 29:53Speaker 1: otherwise bringing it by truck or shit, it's very slow
- 29:55Speaker 1: and costly. What's the objection?
- 29:57Speaker 3: You won't believe what we do, Mark, we actually ship
- 30:00Speaker 3: it either around Africa or around the end of South America.
- 30:07Speaker 3: For the most part, it actually can't go through the
- 30:09Speaker 3: Panama Canal because these tankers are too big.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Wow.
- 30:12Speaker 3: So so it's almost like we're living in like a
- 30:16Speaker 3: nineteenth century, you know, eighteenth century explorer world where you
- 30:20Speaker 3: have to go around Africa, around the Cape of Good
- 30:24Speaker 3: Hope to get oil from you know, from Oklahoma to California.
- 30:32Speaker 1: It makes no sense. What's the environmental objection to a pipeline.
- 30:36Speaker 1: It's not radioactive material, it's not what's the hazard.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Yeah, there's not a good objection. Mainly, they really actually
- 30:44Speaker 3: want fossil fuels to be expensive. They're worried that if
- 30:47Speaker 3: we make it cheap to get oil to California, Californians
- 30:50Speaker 3: will use gasoline, and so they want to make it expensive.
- 30:54Speaker 3: They'll tell you, oh, we're worried about weeks, or we're
- 30:57Speaker 3: worried about you know, the the you know, the spotted
- 31:01Speaker 3: ferret or something whose habitat you're going to go through.
- 31:05Speaker 3: But those are all just phony. What they're really trying
- 31:08Speaker 3: to do is prevent us from building infrastructure that moves
- 31:15Speaker 3: fossil fuels across America.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Hey, John Carney Bright Bart Business Digest. Make sure you
- 31:20Speaker 1: subscribe to it. It's the best business thing you can
- 31:24Speaker 1: read every morning. Bright Bart Business Digest. The President is
- 31:28Speaker 1: going to China, and if you read the fake news,
- 31:31Speaker 1: apparently their economy is booming. We're weak. That president has
- 31:34Speaker 1: no leverage. What's the truth about our economy versus their economy.
- 31:38Speaker 3: So China is actually in much worse shape. Everything we
- 31:41Speaker 3: just said about the oil prices. China is extremely dependent
- 31:48Speaker 3: on the Persian Gulf. They are having that. They have
- 31:51Speaker 3: a lot of reserves, so they've stacked it up, but
- 31:54Speaker 3: they are very dependent on that, so that puts a
- 31:57Speaker 3: lot of stress on them. They have a lot of
- 32:00Speaker 3: problems in that we have been buying a lot less
- 32:04Speaker 3: products from China. China is trying to find other markets,
- 32:10Speaker 3: but other places, Europe in particular, are waking up and saying, wait,
- 32:14Speaker 3: we don't want to have our industry destroyed by China.
- 32:17Speaker 3: We don't want to become dependent on China. So the
- 32:20Speaker 3: rest of the world is not being as open to
- 32:23Speaker 3: China's trade. So China's economy is definitely not doing that well.
- 32:28Speaker 3: They would like to make a deal with us, We
- 32:30Speaker 3: would like to make a deal with them. The question
- 32:33Speaker 3: is can we do it in ways that will actually
- 32:37Speaker 3: work out. I've been skeptical for years that maybe someday
- 32:41Speaker 3: we may just have to realize we can't have as
- 32:45Speaker 3: much trade with China as we do that. I don't
- 32:48Speaker 3: like the idea that, look, it'll be great for the
- 32:51Speaker 3: US if China agrees to buy a lot more energy
- 32:54Speaker 3: from the US. They should be buying natural gas from US.
- 32:57Speaker 3: They should be buying our oil.
- 32:59Speaker 10: But I am But.
- 33:00Speaker 3: If the cost of that is US allowing them to
- 33:04Speaker 3: destroy our auto manufacturing capacity by selling Chinese cars, you know,
- 33:09Speaker 3: Chinese electric vehicles here, I don't think it's worth it.
- 33:11Speaker 3: We don't want to become the energy and agricultural colony
- 33:14Speaker 3: to China's manufacturing and technology behemoth. We we want to make,
- 33:21Speaker 3: you know, So that is not worth doing. It would
- 33:24Speaker 3: be worth it, though, if they say, well, they'll open
- 33:27Speaker 3: their markets to more of our products, and we're able
- 33:31Speaker 3: to prevent them from dumping their cheap electric vehicles into
- 33:37Speaker 3: our market.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Yeah, which is why Trump. President Trump's taking a lot
- 33:40Speaker 1: of business leaders with him looking for business.
- 33:43Speaker 3: I think that's very smart for him to do, because
- 33:47Speaker 3: those guys China wants to play divide and conquer with America.
- 33:52Speaker 3: They want to say to the tow business guys. You know,
- 33:54Speaker 3: whether it's you know Tim Cook and Trump called them
- 33:57Speaker 3: Tim Apple, or you know Elon Mosk or whoever. You know,
- 34:01Speaker 3: we know your president doesn't like us, but we'll do
- 34:04Speaker 3: deals with you guys. Showing up United actually will go
- 34:08Speaker 3: a long way to helping us get a better deal
- 34:11Speaker 3: with China.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Interesting, well, brilliant as always, John Karney. Now Breitbart Business Digest.

- 34:47Speaker 3: that I don't even barely talk about, but called the
- 34:49Speaker 3: number of the day that is the most important. You know,
- 34:52Speaker 3: our news is flooded with economic numbers. Yeah, so I
- 34:55Speaker 3: try to pick the one that you need to see
- 34:57Speaker 3: every day. The number of the days in there. On Fridays,
- 35:01Speaker 3: we do something really special. We run back through the
- 35:03Speaker 3: week and explain, you know, try to put everything a
- 35:06Speaker 3: little bit more in context, and we get a history
- 35:09Speaker 3: lesson on Fridays. It's really fun, sort of a Today
- 35:12Speaker 3: in Economic history. So Breitbart Business Digest everybody, Yeah.

- 35:52Speaker 11: Marks and moons on WR.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Well, Hey, I'll be on Greg Kelly Reports tonight on Newsmax.
- 36:02Speaker 1: It's from nine to ten. I'll be on cudloa tomorrow,
- 36:06Speaker 1: which is on four to five on the Fox Business Network.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Those are actually the two shows that are very important
- 36:11Speaker 1: to watch every day. You'll learn a lot of stuff.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Cudlow's Smartest Show on television weekdays at four and Greg
- 36:17Speaker 1: kelly Best Show on Newsmax every night at nine o'clock.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Good stuff. They're the President. Those are two shows the
- 36:24Speaker 1: President watches every day. TiVo's them, DVRs them. Is there
- 36:29Speaker 1: such a thing as a TVO anymore? The same? I
- 36:31Speaker 1: know what that means. That's an antiquated term. DVRs them
- 36:36Speaker 1: and a lot of stuff that he likes, the DVRs.
- 36:39Speaker 1: And then when he gets home late at night watches them. Then.
- 36:42Speaker 1: So the President leaves for China later today, taking a
- 36:46Speaker 1: lot of business leaders with him, Tim Cook of Apple
- 36:49Speaker 1: and Elon Musk and the head of Boeing and many
- 36:52Speaker 1: other companies. So they'll go over there. Interesting what John
- 36:56Speaker 1: Carney had to say, China really needs us. They need
- 36:59Speaker 1: to open up the markets for him. President. Obviously, something
- 37:04Speaker 1: will happen with Iran and these negotiations. The major benefactor
- 37:09Speaker 1: of Iran is China. Obviously they have a lot of
- 37:12Speaker 1: influence over China. So I guess that's another some people
- 37:19Speaker 1: that maybe shouldn't go till Iran is over. Now, actually
- 37:21Speaker 1: he should go. China has tremendous influence over Iran. So
- 37:26Speaker 1: maybe something will get worked out in the next couple
- 37:29Speaker 1: of days. As Sean Handy, as I said, we'll be
- 37:31Speaker 1: on the trip with him too, so he'll be reporting
- 37:34Speaker 1: for us live from China. Hey, we got another hour
- 37:38Speaker 1: to go. I'm here every day ten to noon, or
- 37:40Speaker 1: you can listen anytime. Just get the podcast wherever you
- 37:42Speaker 1: get podcasts. Back after the news seven to ten wor.
- 37:47Speaker 11: Mister New York Mark zimone, he's on seven ten wr.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Oh, we got a lot to get through this hour.
- 37:56Speaker 1: We'll get back to China and more. Now, you remember
- 37:59Speaker 1: the president when he was just private citizen, Donald Trump.
- 38:03Speaker 1: It was back in the eighties, and he really showed
- 38:07Speaker 1: up the city of New York. It was the Woman
- 38:09Speaker 1: skating rink in Central Park. It had been closed down
- 38:13Speaker 1: and was basically a construction site. They were trying to
- 38:16Speaker 1: fix the skating rink in Woman Park for years, and
- 38:22Speaker 1: it drove Donald Trump nuts because his Trump Tower, if
- 38:28Speaker 1: you were on that side of the building as he
- 38:30Speaker 1: was in his apartment or in his office, and the
- 38:33Speaker 1: view was looking into Central Park and it looked horrible.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Look he'd look into the woman rink and it was
- 38:37Speaker 1: just this big, ugly construction site and it was a
- 38:41Speaker 1: total mess on. This went on for years, so finally
- 38:43Speaker 1: went public about it, and Ed Koch was the mayor
- 38:47Speaker 1: at the time, and they got into a big war
- 38:49Speaker 1: about it. The city was trying to rebuild the skating
- 38:52Speaker 1: rink and they had spent like one hundred million or
- 38:56Speaker 1: some crazy amount and it was taken seven year years
- 39:00Speaker 1: and they announced it could take another seven years. And
- 39:05Speaker 1: Trump really went after Koch because this is absolutely ridiculous.
- 39:09Speaker 1: The skating rink, it's a slab of concrete, was a
- 39:11Speaker 1: mice on it to take a few weeks. And Koch
- 39:16Speaker 1: couldn't believe the arrogance of Trump, so he challenged him publicly.
- 39:20Speaker 1: He said, all right, let's see you do it. Let's
- 39:22Speaker 1: see you build that skating rink in a few weeks.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Well he did. It was simple. He's a construction guy.
- 39:30Speaker 1: The City of New York was going to take something
- 39:32Speaker 1: like fourteen years and spend one hundred million, and every
- 39:35Speaker 1: time they built the thing and they had to tear
- 39:37Speaker 1: it up because it was all wrong. Government doesn't know
- 39:40Speaker 1: how to build anything. Trump got it done so fast
- 39:43Speaker 1: and at no cost. You know. One of the big
- 39:46Speaker 1: problems was the City of New York had hired an
- 39:49Speaker 1: air conditioning company from Miami to build the rink, and
- 39:53Speaker 1: every time they put the pipes in or the things
- 39:55Speaker 1: that there was always the wrong pipes. They didn't work,
- 39:58Speaker 1: and they Trump said, this is ridiculous. He said, every
- 40:02Speaker 1: time I go to Madison Square Garden, there's a basketball
- 40:06Speaker 1: game one night, next night there's a hockey game. So somehow,
- 40:08Speaker 1: in one night they put a state of the art
- 40:11Speaker 1: skating rink down. So he called Madison Square Garden and
- 40:14Speaker 1: he said, how do you build these skating rinks? They said, well,
- 40:17Speaker 1: you got ice guys who build them. The best one
- 40:19Speaker 1: is the Montreal Canadians guy. So Trump called him up.
- 40:23Speaker 1: He was honored to come to Central Park. So he
- 40:25Speaker 1: got it done real fast, at like one fifty at
- 40:28Speaker 1: the cost that the city was going to spend, got
- 40:30Speaker 1: it done in a couple of months, and showed up.
- 40:33Speaker 1: The city coach was so upset he never spoke to
- 40:36Speaker 1: Trump again. The same thing is going on right now
- 40:42Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. With the reflecting pool. You know
- 40:44Speaker 1: where the Lincoln Memorial is and the Washington Monument. In
- 40:47Speaker 1: between is that long, beautiful pool, the reflecting pool. You
- 40:53Speaker 1: see it in all the pictures. That's where Martin Luther King,
- 40:55Speaker 1: you know, made the speech in front of that, A magnificent,
- 40:58Speaker 1: long reflecting pool. Well, it's been in total disrepair for
- 41:02Speaker 1: the last few years thanks to Biden Obama. It's not
- 41:08Speaker 1: only in total disrepair, all cracked and awful, but it's
- 41:13Speaker 1: filled with feces. Yeah, I don't know something with the drainage.
- 41:19Speaker 1: It's filled with feces. It is absolutely disgusting. So President
- 41:23Speaker 1: Trump decided, you got to fix this. You know, it's
- 41:25Speaker 1: not really his responsibility, but he looks at it and says,
- 41:28Speaker 1: you got to fix this. So he announced he would
- 41:31Speaker 1: take care of it. He would rebuild the reflecting pool.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I think let me get the numbers. I think he
- 41:37Speaker 1: said six million to fix it. Well, the New York
- 41:40Speaker 1: Times is going after him. They're writing these vicious pieces
- 41:43Speaker 1: about the costs are out of control. Originally he said
- 41:46Speaker 1: two million. He said two million. So the New York
- 41:53Speaker 1: Times writes a big piece attacking him because actual cost
- 41:55Speaker 1: has now jumped to almost thirteen million. From two million,
- 41:59Speaker 1: it's out of control. Well, as he pointed out, the
- 42:03Speaker 1: Biden administration, the government was going to do it for
- 42:06Speaker 1: four hundred million. And again it's like the woman rink.
- 42:09Speaker 1: They'll use all the wrong people that don't know what
- 42:11Speaker 1: they're doing. Now, remember Donald Trump builds swimming pools all
- 42:16Speaker 1: over the world for years. He's an expert at building
- 42:19Speaker 1: swimming pools. All of his resorts, all of his hotels,
- 42:23Speaker 1: all of his golf courses, they have magnificent swimming pools.
- 42:27Speaker 1: So he said, I'll bring in the top swimming pool guys.
- 42:29Speaker 1: This is basically a swimming pool, and they'll fix everything.
- 42:32Speaker 1: They'll fix the drains, the'll fix the tile, they'll redo it.
- 42:35Speaker 1: And so what if it's thirteen million. The government was
- 42:38Speaker 1: going to do four hundred million, and they said it
- 42:40Speaker 1: would take them five years. Trump says it'll take them
- 42:43Speaker 1: a couple of weeks. So this is another woman rink
- 42:47Speaker 1: about to happen. The difference is you won't see much
- 42:50Speaker 1: coverage of this. They'll keep this one real quiet. Hey,
- 42:53Speaker 1: the virus. Now they've brought back people off that ship.
- 42:57Speaker 1: There are three Americans from that ship with the virus
- 43:01Speaker 1: that hunt a virus they're back in this country. They're
- 43:04Speaker 1: on a military base. We have a military base that
- 43:07Speaker 1: is a quarantine center. They are there. It's in Nebraska.
- 43:11Speaker 1: People in Nebraska are worried about these people with the virus.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Here's the guy at the base. No one who poses
- 43:16Speaker 1: a risk to public health is walking out the front
- 43:19Speaker 1: door of the streets of Omahar beyond. Yeah, unless you
- 43:24Speaker 1: elect Andrew Cuomo governor. I've ordered everybody to go into
- 43:28Speaker 1: the quarantine center. Remember that. Looking back on that now,
- 43:33Speaker 1: was that the single dumbest decision any politician has ever
- 43:37Speaker 1: made in the history of the world. The middle of
- 43:39Speaker 1: the big pandemic with the virus, he orders all the
- 43:43Speaker 1: nursing homes to take in patients who have the virus.
- 43:47Speaker 1: They just got diagnosed with the virus. They got it,
- 43:49Speaker 1: it's definite. He ordered the nursing homes to take them in.
- 43:52Speaker 1: It killed ten thousand senior citizens. But the virus officials
- 43:58Speaker 1: saying it's not a threat, don't worry, it's not gonna spread.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Here's President Trump.
- 44:02Speaker 2: He gave us all wrong information on COVID. They were
- 44:04Speaker 2: totally wrong. And I looked today and I saw the
- 44:07Speaker 2: same doctor that was there. He's a good politician. I
- 44:10Speaker 2: don't know how the hell he kept his shot, but
- 44:12Speaker 2: he was there telling us about this.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yeah, they did get it wrong before. I remember, we
- 44:17Speaker 1: got the video, we got the audio. Before the pandemic
- 44:20Speaker 1: broke out here, Fauci was on radio on TV saying
- 44:24Speaker 1: whenever he was asked, he said, there's no nothing to
- 44:26Speaker 1: worry about. The virus will not come here. That was Fauci,
- 44:30Speaker 1: over and over he said a number of times before
- 44:33Speaker 1: it came here. So they do get it wrong. Just
- 44:36Speaker 1: just remember that. Help. It's fine.
- 44:39Speaker 2: All I can do is everything that a president can do,
- 44:42Speaker 2: which is which is actually somewhat limited. But it seems
- 44:47Speaker 2: like it is not easy to spread.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Well, so now again all the experts of scientists say,
- 44:56Speaker 1: it's not like the coronavirus. This one's not airb It's
- 45:00Speaker 1: very tough to transmit. It takes very very close contact,
- 45:04Speaker 1: usually in exchange of fluids. Hey, so where we are
- 45:09Speaker 1: right here, If you look out the window, that's fifty
- 45:11Speaker 1: sixth Street, and right over there is fifty seventh Street.
- 45:14Speaker 1: They call it Billionaire's Row. And if you go over
- 45:17Speaker 1: there to Billionaire's Row, they're the most expensive apartment buildings
- 45:21Speaker 1: in the world. In fact, I was watching Channel four
- 45:26Speaker 1: news a few months ago and it said, when we
- 45:29Speaker 1: come back, the most expensive block in the world. So
- 45:34Speaker 1: I waited to the commercials, what is the most expense Well,
- 45:38Speaker 1: they showed our neighborhood right over there. It's fifty seventh
- 45:42Speaker 1: between sixth and seventh. It's the most expensive block in
- 45:45Speaker 1: the world. You got all these buildings. At that Steinway Building,
- 45:48Speaker 1: apartments go for ninety million, one hundred million. You got
- 45:52Speaker 1: a one Central Park, apartments go for one hundred and twenty,
- 45:56Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty million. Michael Dell has an apartment there,
- 45:58Speaker 1: Bill Ackman, a lot of hedge fund guys, a lot
- 46:01Speaker 1: of Russian oligarchs, and you got a bunch of these buildings.
- 46:06Speaker 1: You got what's the other one there right up the block.
- 46:10Speaker 1: It's that one has apartments. It's like one hundred and
- 46:13Speaker 1: five stories. It's actually the tallest apartment building in North America.
- 46:17Speaker 1: It has apartments going for like one hundred and fifty million.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Right next to that is Ken Griffin's building. So it's
- 46:23Speaker 1: a really expensive neighborhood. And you got all kinds of
- 46:26Speaker 1: great restaurants. You've got Carnegie Hall is on the block.
- 46:30Speaker 1: It's the most magnificent block now, because it's right over there,
- 46:34Speaker 1: a block from work. I walked that block all the time.
- 46:38Speaker 1: I never noticed this. But in the middle of these
- 46:41Speaker 1: super tall high rises, the most expensive buildings in the world,
- 46:44Speaker 1: there's a couple of little buildings, you know, like those
- 46:47Speaker 1: brownstone kind of buildings, those walk up buildings there, you know,
- 46:50Speaker 1: five four or five stories. There's a few of them
- 46:52Speaker 1: left in between some of those buildings. One of them
- 46:55Speaker 1: has Angelo's pizza in it, which is phenomenal. One of
- 46:58Speaker 1: them has like a little bow deg And I never
- 47:01Speaker 1: looked up at the second floor till I saw this article.
- 47:05Speaker 1: But if you look up at the second floor, there's
- 47:07Speaker 1: an awning. It says fifty seven star beauty shop one
- 47:11Speaker 1: eleven West, fifty seventh seat. Well, big article New York
- 47:14Speaker 1: Post today. This could actually help him. It's could have
- 47:16Speaker 1: hurt him, but it could help him. Apparently, this fifty
- 47:19Speaker 1: seven star beauty shop is now being targeted by the city.
- 47:25Speaker 1: It's a hot Asian lady brothel. Robert Kraft, are you listening.
- 47:31Speaker 1: An undercover officer went in there posing as a customer,
- 47:36Speaker 1: and it says he was offered manual stimulation. Well, I
- 47:44Speaker 1: think I know what that is. That's what Robert Craft
- 47:46Speaker 1: was doing that. Let's call it manual stimulation. So I
- 47:52Speaker 1: guess they went after the place. And the beauty shop
- 47:58Speaker 1: owner is a old Asian woman. She claims not to
- 48:01Speaker 1: speak English and talks through an interpreter, but she insists
- 48:06Speaker 1: that they only do facials, massages and head therapy. Well,
- 48:10Speaker 1: so he was offered manual stimulation, but I don't know
- 48:14Speaker 1: if they do more. But hey, if that's what you're offered,
- 48:17Speaker 1: remember that was that Robert Kraft got caught with that.
- 48:20Speaker 1: If that's what it is, I don't mean to be naive,
- 48:23Speaker 1: but can't you do that yourself at home? Why do
- 48:28Speaker 1: you have to go to this place and just look
- 48:30Speaker 1: at the pictures inside? You go up this seedy looking
- 48:34Speaker 1: staircase into this A nine to one one call first
- 48:38Speaker 1: prompted the NYPD investigation. The owner denies the whole thing. Apparently,
- 48:47Speaker 1: people in the building next door where they paid one
- 48:49Speaker 1: hundred and fifty million for their apartment, have been complaining
- 48:52Speaker 1: about it. One says it was somewhat of a little
- 48:55Speaker 1: known secret. Who knows, maybe you got a few Robert
- 48:58Speaker 1: Crafts in that building and don't mind having this thing there,
- 49:01Speaker 1: but see what happens. Expect that thing to get closed
- 49:04Speaker 1: down pretty soon. So, hey, Gavin Newsom got his first
- 49:08Speaker 1: big donor. You know, he's a colorful guy, he's quite
- 49:11Speaker 1: a personality. He's a real media expert, knows how to
- 49:15Speaker 1: play up the media, get a lot of attention, a
- 49:18Speaker 1: lot of FaceTime on television. But he wasn't really doing
- 49:21Speaker 1: anything with donations. But he got his first major one.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Read Hastings. Reid Hastings, who is a famous billionaire out
- 49:28Speaker 1: there in California, first one to get behind him and
- 49:34Speaker 1: has donated a million dollars. Hastings, a dem mega donor
- 49:38Speaker 1: who backed Harris last time, is now bagging backing Newsom
- 49:43Speaker 1: in twenty twenty eight million dollar donation. Now, just remember
- 49:47Speaker 1: there's a pattern here that we see all the time
- 49:50Speaker 1: in a lot of Democratic presidential races. If you go
- 49:52Speaker 1: two three years out, there's always a flashy, pretty boy
- 49:58Speaker 1: candidate who looks like he's going to be the nominee,
- 50:01Speaker 1: and whoever that is always fails. He always fades away
- 50:05Speaker 1: by the year of the election. It was John Edwards
- 50:09Speaker 1: one year, it was Gary Hart one year. So it's
- 50:12Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom in that role. So these guys always fade out.
- 50:16Speaker 1: And also remember the big, big, big mega donors, the
- 50:19Speaker 1: wealthy mega donors. Both parties are always wrong. Every time
- 50:25Speaker 1: you can check the history of this, people have actually
- 50:29Speaker 1: charted it out. Whoever the big mega donors get behind
- 50:32Speaker 1: guaranteed loser, think Ron DeSantis, think we can go down
- 50:37Speaker 1: the whole list. But so the fact that the mega
- 50:40Speaker 1: donors are now starting to vacuum means Newsom is finished.
- 50:44Speaker 1: The polling actually shows now it's way too early, doesn't
- 50:47Speaker 1: mean anything. Twenty twenty eight. You're way, way way too early,
- 50:51Speaker 1: years away. It's too early to even think about it.
- 50:54Speaker 1: So nothing means anything now. But in the current polling,
- 50:57Speaker 1: twenty five percent of Democrats support Harris Newsom is at twelve,
- 51:02Speaker 1: a little less than half AOC and Pete Buddha Jedge
- 51:05Speaker 1: are at nine. Now, this is what the Democratic Party
- 51:09Speaker 1: or oh I forgot, President Trump now saying democrats call
- 51:13Speaker 1: them democrats from now on. Don't say democrats, say democrats.
- 51:18Speaker 1: So the Democratic Party loves these dumb people. They love AOC,
- 51:23Speaker 1: they love Buddha Judge, and they all have something in
- 51:26Speaker 1: common same thing with Newsom. They're people that they look
- 51:28Speaker 1: good they sound good, they talk a good game, they're
- 51:30Speaker 1: great on the Sunday shows, but they get nothing done
- 51:33Speaker 1: in real life. In real life they're the worst managers.
- 51:36Speaker 1: They screw up anything they run. In the case of AOC,
- 51:40Speaker 1: she's actually never actually run anything ever. Hey, remember we're
- 51:44Speaker 1: talking about those data centers, you know, to run AI,
- 51:47Speaker 1: to power AI and all this stuff, you need these
- 51:49Speaker 1: massive data centers. And whenever they open one, people are
- 51:53Speaker 1: treating it like a nuclear plant. All the residents start petitioning,
- 51:57Speaker 1: protesting going on after the town hall. They want it stopped.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Kevin O'Leary's trying to open a data center. They're blocking him. Well,
- 52:06Speaker 1: there's one in Georgia that's been opened for a while.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Residents are furious. You know, AI requires like a thousand
- 52:13Speaker 1: times as much electricity as regular internet stuff, so AI
- 52:18Speaker 1: uses tons of electricity. In fact, there's a lot of
- 52:21Speaker 1: people think we don't even have enough electricity in the
- 52:24Speaker 1: future to even do enough AI. But this one data center,
- 52:28Speaker 1: it's in Georgia, it's seven million square feet. They're huge.
- 52:33Speaker 1: It's a little town with a population of twenty thousand.
- 52:36Speaker 1: But besides the electricity, apparently the data center guzzled up
- 52:41Speaker 1: all their water. The data center used up thirty million
- 52:44Speaker 1: gallons of water, thirty million. It used so much water
- 52:48Speaker 1: that everybody in the town has almost half the water pressure.
- 52:52Speaker 1: They've got very very very weak water pressure because of
- 52:56Speaker 1: this data center. So they're trying to do something about it,
- 52:59Speaker 1: but it's too late. It's already there. It's owned by Blackstone,
- 53:01Speaker 1: the big hedge fund, so good luck with that. But
- 53:06Speaker 1: it's just it's gonna be a problem. This is gonna
- 53:08Speaker 1: be worse than nuclear plants. Many communities will say, forget that,
- 53:12Speaker 1: give me a nuclear plant. I rather have that. Hey,
- 53:15Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three two one
- 53:18Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 53:22Speaker 1: one zero seven ten set up, pre said on the
- 53:25Speaker 1: iHeart radio app to do wor to hear Mark Live?
- 53:29Speaker 11: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime? Now
- 53:33Speaker 11: back to Mark Zimone on WOR.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to hal in Freeport, Hell.
- 53:42Speaker 1: How you doing?
- 53:43Speaker 12: Hey, guys, how were you well? Talking about being as
- 53:47Speaker 12: row with this Chinese or whatever happy place. The reason
- 53:52Speaker 12: they don't tax it is they don't know where to
- 53:57Speaker 12: put the meter on the pet or the heater.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Heh yeah, yeah, all right. Why would a guy go
- 54:03Speaker 1: to a prostitute? Why do people do that? Let's take
- 54:05Speaker 1: your case. Why do you do it?
- 54:07Speaker 12: Why because you relax? Okay, unwined, you can't do that
- 54:12Speaker 12: at home. No, I used to have him come to
- 54:16Speaker 12: my house.
- 54:16Speaker 1: But just to have him come to your house? Yeah,
- 54:20Speaker 1: how much does.
- 54:21Speaker 12: A house called one hundred worth?
- 54:25Speaker 1: Well worth? This must be a real top of the
- 54:27Speaker 1: line beauty for a hundred.
- 54:29Speaker 12: Well. No, they know what they're doing, you know, it's
- 54:32Speaker 12: they're professionals at it. I'm surprised that they don't get
- 54:35Speaker 12: work with comms if they.
- 54:37Speaker 1: A carpal tunnel. Yeah, you know what I mean. Now,
- 54:39Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Well, seriously, it says manual stimulation.
- 54:44Speaker 1: You can't do that yourself. You got to pay somebody
- 54:46Speaker 1: to come do it. How lazy are you?
- 54:48Speaker 12: I subcontract everything I'm gonna sign because I don't make meon.
- 54:52Speaker 12: I have people make it for me. I bring to
- 54:55Speaker 12: work in. And also there's men in those places, and
- 54:59Speaker 12: they the yellow pages on the women. I know a
- 55:02Speaker 12: girl she went through it.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I don't know what the yellow Pages is, and I
- 55:05Speaker 1: don't want to know.
- 55:07Speaker 12: Way the girl came out. The girl came out. She
- 55:11Speaker 12: was like crosssides. She was smiling for a week.
- 55:13Speaker 1: All right, all right, listen to Robert Kraft Junior. We'll
- 55:16Speaker 1: talk to you later. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 55:20Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 55:23Speaker 13: Very funny, you know, Mark.
- 55:25Speaker 14: You know it's also very funny is that the same
- 55:27Speaker 14: people who were complaining about Trump redoing the reflecting pool
- 55:31Speaker 14: had no problem with George Floyd murals everywhere and BLM
- 55:35Speaker 14: being painted all over the streets of Washington, which no
- 55:38Speaker 14: pun intended, reflected badly on us, as opposed to the pool,
- 55:42Speaker 14: which would reflect very nicely on the country looking nice,
- 55:45Speaker 14: don't you think?
- 55:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I know you think. And the government was going
- 55:49Speaker 1: to do it for four hundred million and seven years.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Let Trump do it for thirteen million in two weeks exactly.
- 55:56Speaker 14: And the other thing too, You were mentioning about guys
- 55:58Speaker 14: like Newsome, you know, new some and then this is
- 56:01Speaker 14: a this is the trick of the party. They want
- 56:04Speaker 14: interfere in for the guys behind them. So he gets
- 56:07Speaker 14: he takes all the all the incoming and then silently
- 56:11Speaker 14: they're grooming, you know, an Obama type, you know, to
- 56:14Speaker 14: sort of like that, nobody's got their eyes on it,
- 56:16Speaker 14: and all of a sudden he comes from out of
- 56:18Speaker 14: the blue. It's like, oh, this is the greatest things
- 56:20Speaker 14: in plaice.
- 56:20Speaker 10: But because the.
- 56:21Speaker 14: Other guy was a real punts. Yeah, I think that's
- 56:24Speaker 14: what they're grooming Newsom for.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Yeah, good point. All right, Well thanks for calling. Let's
- 56:30Speaker 1: go to Bill in New Jersey. Bill, how you doing?
- 56:34Speaker 10: Hey there, Mark, first time pauler, long time listener. I
- 56:38Speaker 10: remember you back about forty five years ago in nineteen
- 56:41Speaker 10: eighty when you were doing the sixty Voice contest on
- 56:44Speaker 10: those stage. Yep.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I wanted to.
- 56:49Speaker 10: Comment about your thoughts on Newsome. I think the situation
- 56:53Speaker 10: with him is a little bit different. John Edwards of course,
- 56:56Speaker 10: had the baby out of wedlock scandal, Garry Hardhead Dotter
- 57:01Speaker 10: Rice with Gavin Newsom, and his close relationship with Ntsy Pelosi.
- 57:06Speaker 10: I think it's gonna take a lot to get him
- 57:08Speaker 10: unseated as the Democrats.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you gotta remember the way that works. If
- 57:11Speaker 1: you're the pretty boy front runner for a year or two,
- 57:15Speaker 1: you look like you're the guy. And the reason they
- 57:18Speaker 1: had all these scandals is the other Democrats want to
- 57:21Speaker 1: get you out of there, So they dig up the
- 57:23Speaker 1: scandals on you. You don't think they confare, I hear you. Yeah,
- 57:26Speaker 1: don't worry. They'll find stuff on and Newsom's got a
- 57:29Speaker 1: lot of scandal in his past. But thanks for calling. Yeah,
- 57:34Speaker 1: that's a good point when I say the pretty boy
- 57:36Speaker 1: who's in the lead three years out never gets it. Well,
- 57:39Speaker 1: all the scandals took him in. It's the Democrats. That's
- 57:41Speaker 1: the way they play the game. Dig up all the dirt.
- 57:44Speaker 1: The opponents, dig up all the dirt on him and
- 57:46Speaker 1: get him out of there. And Newsom has a very
- 57:50Speaker 1: sleazy track record. You know, he got caught sleeping with
- 57:56Speaker 1: his best friend's wife. He got caught sleeping with his
- 57:59Speaker 1: campaign man wife, and you can go online you can
- 58:03Speaker 1: see the video where he had to finally confess to it.
- 58:05Speaker 1: He said he didn't realize what he was doing. It
- 58:08Speaker 1: was a moment of weakness and all that. So you
- 58:11Speaker 1: know else, remember people get taught on the midterms. That's
- 58:15Speaker 1: a long way away, many many many many many months away.
- 58:19Speaker 1: But a big issue will be you remember that President Trump,
- 58:24Speaker 1: if he said the twenty twenty election was illegitimate, they
- 58:27Speaker 1: go nuts, the media, the Democrats, how dare you say,
- 58:29Speaker 1: how dare you call it illegitimate? But Democrats are running
- 58:33Speaker 1: on the fact that the Supreme Court is illegitimate. It's
- 58:35Speaker 1: pretty much the same thing. If you're calling a government
- 58:38Speaker 1: institution like an election illegitimate, it's just as bad to
- 58:42Speaker 1: call the Supreme Court an entire branch of government illegitimate.
- 58:46Speaker 1: And Schumer has called the Jeffreys. They've all said, this
- 58:49Speaker 1: is an illegitimate Supreme Court's as bad as anything Trump
- 58:54Speaker 1: has said. But even Hakeem Jeffries is coming right out
- 58:57Speaker 1: and saying it. You know, is when the Democrats take over,
- 59:02Speaker 1: they want to rig the whole place, really change your
- 59:05Speaker 1: alter our democracy. They want to bring in two more states,
- 59:08Speaker 1: Puerto Rico, Washington, d C. The reason they want to
- 59:11Speaker 1: make those two states is they'll always have a democratic
- 59:15Speaker 1: voting and that way they'll get two more senators from
- 59:18Speaker 1: Puerto Rico two more senators from DC, so it'll be
- 59:21Speaker 1: an extra four democratic senators. They want to redo the
- 59:24Speaker 1: Supreme Court. Instead of nine justices, they want to make
- 59:28Speaker 1: it twenty. That way they can load it up with
- 59:30Speaker 1: fifteen whoever they want. And how came Jefferies coming right
- 59:34Speaker 1: out and saying it now.
- 59:35Speaker 15: In the new Congress, we're going to have to do
- 59:37Speaker 15: something about this Supreme Court. And let me be very clear,
- 59:40Speaker 15: everything is on the table, everything to deal with this
- 59:44Speaker 15: corrupt Maga majority that is issuing political opinions that are
- 59:51Speaker 15: designed to bolster the prospects of the Republican Party, and
- 59:55Speaker 15: we will not allow them to succeed.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Yeah, the low IQ Democrat Jeffreys. Yeah, they always have
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: a name, Maga. They always make they demonize it, make
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: it sound like something awful. They always do that, you know,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the extreme Maga. They're not just mega, you're extreme Mega.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Nobody even knows what it is, what that means. They
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: always do every Remember it was the Tea Party. They
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: made it sound like you were a member of the
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Nazi Party of the Tea Party, or and some sometimes
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the pick stuff doesn't even exist, like QAnon. That's like
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: twelve people in some chat room. It doesn't even exist
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: in real life. Hey, when we come back, Bill O'Reilly
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: will be with us. The President leaving for China in
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: a couple of hours. Now. Bill O'Reilly just recently went
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: to China. He'll tell you what it's like there. He
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: can shed a lot of light on this coming up
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wo R.
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: He's always a headline I had Markimo seven ten wo R.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Well. Bill O'Reilly, number one TV anchor for decades, number
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: one best selling non fiction author in the world. Also
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: does a great show every night. You can watch it
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Also at Bill O'Reilly dot
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: com you get the message of the day, the column
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Everything Now. Also watches YouTube channel a lot of great
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: stuff Bill O'Reilly on YouTube and his new podcast every
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: week is excellent. It's called We'll do It Live this
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Week Chess Parliamentary. It's a great, great podcast, Bill O'Reilly.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: How you doing good?
- 1:01:24Speaker 13: Hanging tough?
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: How about you?
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: Mark?
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm good. Hey, I love Chess Prolmentary. That
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: was a great great thank you, thank you. I'm not
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: afraid to say that he's not a left wing kook.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: He doesn't fear Hollywood. That's pretty good, isn't it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 13: Most of the actors that have reached i'd say forty
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: five years old, because of their life experience, kind of
- 1:01:49Speaker 13: walked away from the madness on the left. Some of
- 1:01:53Speaker 13: them have liberal sensibilities, but they're not activists like the
- 1:01:59Speaker 13: younger guy are because the younger people in show business
- 1:02:03Speaker 13: understand that the more anti Trump they are, the more
- 1:02:07Speaker 13: jobs will come their way. It's like a transaction and
- 1:02:12Speaker 13: we see that in music too. That knit with Rod
- 1:02:18Speaker 13: Stewart said some very inappropriate things the other day. Well,
- 1:02:23Speaker 13: guess is going out on a summer tour and the
- 1:02:25Speaker 13: tickets aren't really selling. Yeah, that would be.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: Rod Stewart trying the Bruce model.
- 1:02:33Speaker 13: Yeah, well, Spearcy Spearcy Springsteen is a pretty good draw
- 1:02:42Speaker 13: no matter where it goes. I'm never figured it out myself.
- 1:02:46Speaker 13: I mean, he's okay. But if I have the choice
- 1:02:50Speaker 13: between Bruce and the drifters, I'm taking the drifters. So anyway,
- 1:02:56Speaker 13: But the ones that are on the margin, no, they
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: can trade d Trump feeling for commerce, and that's what
- 1:03:03Speaker 13: you've seen a lot of.
- 1:03:04Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Hey, now, Bill O'Reilly. The President goes to China later today,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: he leaves for the trip. You have just recently been
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to China, so you know everything he's in for. First
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: of all, how bad is the plane ride?
- 1:03:19Speaker 13: Well, it's not not the greatest. You got to bring
- 1:03:23Speaker 13: some books and stuff to amuse you. In fact, in
- 1:03:27Speaker 13: fifteen minutes after I get off the marks Muncha having
- 1:03:32Speaker 13: a zoom call with some of the POLYP bureau over
- 1:03:35Speaker 13: in China at their request. So they want to, I guess,
- 1:03:40Speaker 13: figure out what the last stand is before Trump leaves.
- 1:03:46Speaker 13: And I did talk to the President on Sunday because
- 1:03:51Speaker 13: you have to brief them on this stuff because I'm
- 1:03:55Speaker 13: in a very unique position. I'm a journalist, but somehow
- 1:03:58Speaker 13: I got dragged into diploma. See, I don't even know
- 1:04:00Speaker 13: how that happened. So I did talk to him and
- 1:04:06Speaker 13: told him that this call was set for today, and
- 1:04:10Speaker 13: that'll be interesting to see what the Chinese have on
- 1:04:13Speaker 13: their mind.
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Just tell us some things like when you're over there,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: security wise, you can't bring your phone because they'll embed
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: stuff in it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 13: Right, Yeah, you got to bring a burner phone. You
- 1:04:24Speaker 13: can't use your regular phone. He'd be in surveil twenty
- 1:04:30Speaker 13: four to seven. If you're a person of note from America,
- 1:04:34Speaker 13: that's for sure. I had one very famous journalist call
- 1:04:39Speaker 13: me up. I'm not going to tell you who it
- 1:04:41Speaker 13: is and said, hey, I hear they take pictures of
- 1:04:45Speaker 13: you in the shower. I said, number one, nobody wants
- 1:04:48Speaker 13: a picture of you in the shower. At number two,
- 1:04:51Speaker 13: I wouldn't worry about it does tap your phone, and
- 1:04:55Speaker 13: they'll probably have a listening device in your room, so
- 1:05:00Speaker 13: I wouldn't be given away any secrets. But nobody's following
- 1:05:04Speaker 13: you around with a camera.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Oh but they will have a microphone in your hotel room.
- 1:05:09Speaker 13: The odds are I didn't. I did the James Bond
- 1:05:12Speaker 13: thing in there, and I will go all over the
- 1:05:14Speaker 13: place that I didn't find anything.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: But that James fun That was like in the sixties.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Nowadays it's so tiny winning build a spot.
- 1:05:22Speaker 13: It yeah, I mean, and they can do all kinds
- 1:05:24Speaker 13: of things through walls and windows and you have to
- 1:05:28Speaker 13: assume you're being surveil. It was funny when I got
- 1:05:30Speaker 13: picked up over there at the airport Mercedes Benz, you know,
- 1:05:36Speaker 13: and the guy who's driving, it would have taken you
- 1:05:40Speaker 13: thirty seconds to figure out this is not a driver.
- 1:05:45Speaker 13: This guy, you know, he's not an uber guy, and
- 1:05:50Speaker 13: he was there to listen and you know, make sure
- 1:05:53Speaker 13: we got where were supposed to go.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Yeah. So when you meet with Chinese officials, what is
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: your impression of totally untrustworth, the totally devious.
- 1:06:02Speaker 13: No, no, no, they come across the politest people in
- 1:06:05Speaker 13: the world they are, you know, the ones that I
- 1:06:09Speaker 13: spoke with last May when I was in Beijing, having
- 1:06:13Speaker 13: them spoke English, having them use headphones. The guys will
- 1:06:17Speaker 13: talk to today they speak English. Yeah, and they're very very differential.
- 1:06:23Speaker 13: They're not competitional at all. There are a few menacing
- 1:06:28Speaker 13: guys in there. The Director of Security, that's you know,
- 1:06:32Speaker 13: the big guy put it, if you're a Weiger, you're
- 1:06:35Speaker 13: in trouble. You know, he can incarcerainybody wants. Yeah, those
- 1:06:41Speaker 13: are kind of menacing guys. But most of them are
- 1:06:43Speaker 13: very very polite, and they they'll never let you know
- 1:06:47Speaker 13: what they are thinking.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're negotiate with them and get something from them,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: is there any guarantee it'll happen? That they're known for
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: never ever a living by any negotiation.
- 1:06:58Speaker 13: Well, but that's all over the world. So you get
- 1:07:01Speaker 13: the best deal you can get and then you get
- 1:07:03Speaker 13: an enforcement clause, and it's all you can do. Because
- 1:07:10Speaker 13: you can't force nations or leaders to do what you
- 1:07:14Speaker 13: want them to do. You try to make it very attractive.
- 1:07:20Speaker 13: And that's what Trump is very good at in his negotiations, saying, look,
- 1:07:26Speaker 13: this is going to benefit you a lot. If you
- 1:07:29Speaker 13: help us out with Iran. Iran is gonna be number
- 1:07:32Speaker 13: one in this two day conference over there. The United
- 1:07:37Speaker 13: States could use China's help because these are mad men.
- 1:07:42Speaker 13: These are literally crazy people who would destroy as much
- 1:07:46Speaker 13: as they could destroy, and that's not good for China.
- 1:07:51Speaker 13: So there'll be a number of discussions about that. But
- 1:07:55Speaker 13: China's going to want some benefits on Taiwan. That's the problem.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Okay. So if he says to help us, and the
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: China says, all right, will help you with Iran, now
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: they see how much it bothers them, so they whisper
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to Iran. Hey, keep it up. You're really driving them nuts.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: What do we do?
- 1:08:13Speaker 13: But it's more likely to be if we help you,
- 1:08:19Speaker 13: mister President, then we want you to renegotiate the Taiwan stuff.
- 1:08:29Speaker 13: That's the quid pro quo that's more likely to happen.
- 1:08:34Speaker 13: Deceit is not something that plays well in the international world.
- 1:08:40Speaker 13: It depends on the leadership, of course. But chinaese the
- 1:08:44Speaker 13: United States to sell its products and they don't want
- 1:08:49Speaker 13: to get on the wrong side of Trumpea.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Hey, there's a lot of people worried about the safety
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: over there or poisonous food or something. How safe is
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: he over there?
- 1:09:00Speaker 13: Listen? Compared to New York City, China is a better
- 1:09:05Speaker 13: save as you can get because there's one real law,
- 1:09:11Speaker 13: crimes against the people, which covers everything. Yeah, everything, you
- 1:09:16Speaker 13: spit on a sidewalk. They don't want you spitting on
- 1:09:19Speaker 13: a sidewalk. You know, we'll see you around a couple
- 1:09:22Speaker 13: of months and no lawyers, no due process. You know,
- 1:09:28Speaker 13: if you're a miscreant in China, you're in trouble because
- 1:09:33Speaker 13: they can arrest you for anything and everything, and they do.
- 1:09:38Speaker 13: And that's how they control at one point five billion
- 1:09:41Speaker 13: people that they have living there.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Hey, now, Bill O'Reilly, you were there, aside from whatever
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: business you were doing there, did you say to yourself,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: what a wonderful place. I'd love to come back here?
- 1:09:54Speaker 13: Well, you know, look, culturally, I got the Great Wall,
- 1:09:59Speaker 13: which was stunning. Yeah, I mean, now it was incredible
- 1:10:03Speaker 13: to see that walk that thing. And then you had
- 1:10:07Speaker 13: TMM and square, and then you had you know a
- 1:10:09Speaker 13: bunch of stuff that you want to see. I do
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: as a journalist historian, but you know, we were three
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: days in Beijing and I said to my son, you said,
- 1:10:22Speaker 13: the lead he goes no, because you're it's an uneasy place.
- 1:10:30Speaker 13: You're not comfortable there, and you cannot pursue happiness. That's
- 1:10:36Speaker 13: the big thing. In America. You can, you know, pretty much,
- 1:10:39Speaker 13: say I want to do this and give it a try.
- 1:10:41Speaker 13: Not in China, they tell you what to do.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Well, well, interesting stuff. Hey, here in New York you've
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: got you got these anti Semitic protesters. They're terrorizing people
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: the synagogue that happened again last night. You got a
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: mayor that never says a word about it, doesn't do anything.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Have you ever seen anything like this in New York?
- 1:11:01Speaker 13: No, I've never seen a man in office as radical
- 1:11:04Speaker 13: as them dying. He's the most radical elected official I've
- 1:11:10Speaker 13: ever seen.
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: You guys are.
- 1:11:12Speaker 13: Flat out communists. He despises Israel things, it's a fascist state.
- 1:11:19Speaker 13: His wife's even worse. And the fact that he's the
- 1:11:24Speaker 13: mayor of New York City does not speak well for
- 1:11:26Speaker 13: the city.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: But as the great historian, we'll get through these four years,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: won't we.
- 1:11:32Speaker 13: Oh yeah, But it's going to be a lot of
- 1:11:35Speaker 13: pain for New Yorkers because of the taxes and the
- 1:11:40Speaker 13: draconian rules that they're going to put into place, and
- 1:11:45Speaker 13: That's why a lot of people are leaving. They don't
