- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue Recap. Hot takes, cold facts, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: zero respect for the official narrative. Sit back, roll your eyes,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and let's recap rogue style.
- 0:29Speaker 2: What's up, guys, Welcome to the Rogue Recap. I am
- 0:32Speaker 2: Lynda McLaughlin. I'm here with my buddy Eric Eggers, and
- 0:34Speaker 2: this is episode ten of Soundbites.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Hello, mister Eggers, happy last episode of two Hands Lenna McLachlin.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Ten episodes and we couldn't be talking to you at
- 0:46Speaker 3: a more interesting and I would argue important time. We've
- 0:50Speaker 3: been covering a lot of these different stories for a
- 0:52Speaker 3: while and many of them are kind of converging right
- 0:56Speaker 3: now in political campaign season, specifically political campaigns in your
- 1:00Speaker 3: neck of the woods to Spacackland in New York City.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's as disgusting as it's ever been. I'll
- 1:06Speaker 2: tell you what I'm like. Never did I think that
- 1:10Speaker 2: I would be wishing for mere dinkins. I'm like, how
- 1:12Speaker 2: is this a thing?
- 1:13Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:13Speaker 2: What I mean, that's before my time? But I remember,
- 1:17Speaker 2: like people talking about the city before Juliani made a
- 1:19Speaker 2: disney World, even though Disney World is filled with pedophilia.
- 1:23Speaker 2: So I don't know what that comparison actually means.
- 1:25Speaker 3: But still Disney World in fact, as it turns out, Yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah, still Disney World so gross. Will never take my
- 1:30Speaker 2: kids their sidebar another show. But it's interesting that the
- 1:34Speaker 2: dsay So yesterday, I was talking about this on another
- 1:37Speaker 2: show and I was saying, I don't understand why people
- 1:40Speaker 2: are so excited about the primary, Like the jig is up, everybody.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We don't have election integrity. People come out of the
- 1:46Speaker 2: polling booth and they'll tell you that it was the seventh, eighth, ninth,
- 1:48Speaker 2: tenth time they voted. They'll tell you that they're an
- 1:51Speaker 2: illegal immigrant, and they like signed up this morning with
- 1:54Speaker 2: like some guy like with a clip word and Times
- 1:57Speaker 2: square like it's a real thing and none of it.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It's just one big house of cards, the Ponzi scheme,
- 2:02Speaker 2: a whole Ponzi schemes.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe that that's actually I think a very
- 2:07Speaker 3: underreported aspect of this story. But I would also say
- 2:11Speaker 3: that you know this is like what you get is
- 2:13Speaker 3: this is how life works.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Rick Warren, you know who wrote that book Purpose Driven.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Life, and think it's about he talked about how there's
- 2:19Speaker 3: like two tracks and because like while purpose Driven life
- 2:22Speaker 3: was like taking off and it was like the biggest
- 2:24Speaker 3: book in the world. I think his wife got cancer.
- 2:27Speaker 3: He had like a personal trategy that that happened to Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 3: that's his child pass away. So he's like one thing's
- 2:33Speaker 3: good and then another thing's going to be not so good.
- 2:35Speaker 3: And that's just kind of the way life works. And
- 2:36Speaker 3: I feel like in New York City, it's like, yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 3: here's the deal. You get the Knicks, they win the title,
- 2:41Speaker 3: but you also get socialists and this is just the
- 2:43Speaker 3: world that you're going to live in now in New
- 2:45Speaker 3: York City, and.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's a collection of twenty something year olds who've never
- 2:50Speaker 2: paid a bill, live with mommy and daddy, carry their Starbucks,
- 2:53Speaker 2: carry their iPhone film every moment like they're Mel Gibson.
- 2:58Speaker 2: And then they're like, oh, you know, it would be
- 2:59Speaker 2: cool if like everything I had was like free and
- 3:02Speaker 2: then like I shared it with everybody, but then like
- 3:04Speaker 2: when it got weird, I could take it back, Like what.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not a thing.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Somebody told me that like leftists and socialists like look
- 3:12Speaker 3: at this country, like literally kids who live at home,
- 3:15Speaker 3: Like I hate.
- 3:16Speaker 4: It here, but can you still pay for everything? Please?
- 3:19Speaker 3: That that's kind of like what socialism is and but
- 3:22Speaker 3: but it's more than that. And I think some of
- 3:24Speaker 3: the clips that have emerged from some of these watch parties,
- 3:26Speaker 3: because it's not just socialists, Linda, this is mayor Mom
- 3:29Speaker 3: Donnie's socialists, right, and he was the first one a
- 3:32Speaker 3: year ago, wins the primary for mayor obviously then goes
- 3:35Speaker 3: on to win the general election.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Uh, you know, we could do lots, and I think we.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Need air like a lot with these winning you win
- 3:42Speaker 2: win win, No, it's air quotes win, air quotes win,
- 3:45Speaker 2: because this guy ain't winning nothing.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I wouldn't sure, well, you know, a fair point.
- 3:52Speaker 3: But the real winner, air quotes or not last night's
- 3:55Speaker 3: more than arguably any of these actual congressional candidates, is
- 3:58Speaker 3: this guy Hassan Piker, right, because he is sort of seen,
- 4:00Speaker 3: along with Mom Donnie, as one of the king makers
- 4:04Speaker 3: of this of the candidates in this movement. And we
- 4:06Speaker 3: have some clips from the election party results last night
- 4:09Speaker 3: that show him sort of like reveling in his glory.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Indeed, but I'm sorry, happy to be able to share
- 4:18Speaker 5: this incredible experience with all of you here.
- 4:22Speaker 4: In the fucking comedy Corridor.
- 4:25Speaker 5: The tip of the spear of the American Socialist movement,
- 4:30Speaker 5: an absolute fucking blowout.
- 4:32Speaker 2: And then that bitch, that bitch right there.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Read it in fucking wave, hijiem. He seems super nice.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're listening and you couldn't see the screen,
- 4:46Speaker 3: the acheme he's referring to is potentially the next Speaker
- 4:50Speaker 3: of the House. A Kim Jefferes, the member of Congress
- 4:52Speaker 3: from New York City, who you know, whose candidates lost
- 4:55Speaker 3: these runoffs or these primaries against the socialist candidates. To me,
- 5:00Speaker 3: that's like just very telling, and I think it should
- 5:02Speaker 3: it should kind of give everybody a little bit of pause,
- 5:04Speaker 3: because that's the democratic establishment. You don't get more establishment
- 5:07Speaker 3: than a Keem Jeffries. And the people who were backed
- 5:10Speaker 3: by the dem establishment in New York City all lost
- 5:13Speaker 3: to the socialists.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And what's interesting about this, this douchebag Hassan, is that
- 5:19Speaker 2: he's actually not American. He was born here, but he
- 5:22Speaker 2: was raised in is Tumbule. And so this idea, like,
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm like, maybe you were like, you know, the anchor
- 5:27Speaker 2: baby birthright citizen thing going on. That's cool, good for you, bro,
- 5:31Speaker 2: But I'm thinking that the tough guy thing you have
- 5:33Speaker 2: going on, probably wouldn't find is dumble. I'm thinking like
- 5:36Speaker 2: maybe you would be somebody's little bitch, since you like
- 5:39Speaker 2: to use that phrase so willingly. You know, Hakim has
- 5:42Speaker 2: been in it for a minute. I hate a Kim,
- 5:43Speaker 2: don't get me wrong, but like simmeredown, Hassan simmer down,
- 5:47Speaker 2: like you have a twitch channel, you know, like just
- 5:51Speaker 2: gonna be fine. You know, it's a lot, and it's
- 5:54Speaker 2: like all these people standing behind him. It is a
- 5:56Speaker 2: room full of people who haven't had a shower or
- 5:58Speaker 2: even seen one and about week. It stinks. They're all
- 6:02Speaker 2: dressed like they're super poor, but they paid three hundred
- 6:05Speaker 2: dollars for the shirt that they're wearing. Oh, by the way,
- 6:07Speaker 2: they came from my parents' account because they're lawyers for
- 6:10Speaker 2: a nonprofit, but the lobbying gives them all the money.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Like it's such a web of deceit and it's so
- 6:16Speaker 2: performative that it. I mean, like you shock your dog,
- 6:21Speaker 2: bro Your dog literally is forced to listen to you
- 6:25Speaker 2: every day, subjugated to a little like pillow behind you,
- 6:29Speaker 2: and then if he dares to breathe or move for
- 6:32Speaker 2: a brief moment from your ridiculous escapades of thought, you
- 6:36Speaker 2: shock him that for me is done.
- 6:38Speaker 4: I'm out.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he's got no Linda's out on anybody that has
- 6:41Speaker 3: a shot call on the dog, and I understand that.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I do think there's an interesting racial component to this
- 6:46Speaker 3: because has been reported eighty five percent of the Socialists
- 6:51Speaker 3: in New York City and I believe nationwide are white.
- 6:54Speaker 3: So it does so like the fact that he's calling
- 6:56Speaker 3: out Hakeem Jefferies in African Americans, who you point out,
- 6:59Speaker 3: like the elected Lye so potentially stands to be the
- 7:02Speaker 3: first African American Speaker of the House in the country's history,
- 7:05Speaker 3: if I'm not mistaken. So like, that's it's an interesting
- 7:09Speaker 3: dynamic and good luck with that in the Democrat Party specifically.
- 7:12Speaker 3: But that's like just one of a few clips we
- 7:14Speaker 3: have from Hassan last night.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yes, if I can play the race card, which I
- 7:18Speaker 2: hate playing to bash Hassan, that might be the one
- 7:20Speaker 2: time I take that card out of my wallet because
- 7:22Speaker 2: that is some bullshit. Hikeem is a scumbag, Hassan is
- 7:25Speaker 2: a scumbag. They are scumbags in and of themselves. But
- 7:27Speaker 2: if they want to kill each other, I'm for it.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Like I'm all about it. Help help me, help them
- 7:31Speaker 2: kill each other. I'm like, how can I do that?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Here's another moment. This is This is when Hassan had
- 7:36Speaker 2: like a glimmer of telling the truth. It was super funny.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Watch this.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Hey, after tonight, my price went up.
- 7:42Speaker 5: You have to be a democratic socialist if.
- 7:44Speaker 4: You want some of this fucking shine.
- 7:46Speaker 2: All right, Sorry, that's called self glaze. He was like,
- 7:51Speaker 2: I don't need you. I'm going to flex on my
- 7:53Speaker 2: own and then glaze it over because suddenly he became
- 7:56Speaker 2: a capitalist. He's like, oh, my price just went up
- 7:58Speaker 2: because I'm more valuable. I'm like, oh my god, you
- 8:00Speaker 2: just became a capitalist.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Bro.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Welcome, good morning.
- 8:03Speaker 4: It's such a smart point.
- 8:04Speaker 3: That clip is literally a socialist respond and responding to
- 8:07Speaker 3: a change in free market conditions and uh course correctnes
- 8:11Speaker 3: price as a result.
- 8:11Speaker 4: No.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Absolutely so capitalism. Yeah, it's it's not just for the
- 8:15Speaker 3: rich people, you know what I mean. And he's also
- 8:17Speaker 3: as worth pointing out, not poor. And so what I think,
- 8:21Speaker 3: what I think is we have two more clips from
- 8:23Speaker 3: last night, right, yes, so before we get to the
- 8:26Speaker 3: APAC one, let's play this one because I think it's
- 8:28Speaker 3: really interesting. This juxtaposition of here's what people are kind
- 8:31Speaker 3: of really interested in, and here are some of the
- 8:33Speaker 3: benefits that we think that. It's not why are the
- 8:35Speaker 3: socialists winning? What is the appeal of socialism? In some respects?
- 8:40Speaker 2: It's this So I actually renamed this clip just so
- 8:44Speaker 2: you know. I call it pathetic Piker. It's where Piker
- 8:46Speaker 2: tries to be like, man, people are mean to me,
- 8:49Speaker 2: and this is what we want. That's how the cut
- 8:52Speaker 2: actually starts, just so you know.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Okay, great, I was gonna start calling terms.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I wish there's something colony.
- 9:01Speaker 4: I radical.
- 9:03Speaker 5: None of these people are radical. They just want healthcare.
- 9:05Speaker 5: They want to end American militarism.
- 9:08Speaker 4: They want to spend money.
- 9:09Speaker 5: On road, on infrastructure, on schooling, on a healthcare rather
- 9:14Speaker 5: than bomb overseas. Because it seems like her Markee mom,
- 9:18Speaker 5: that's what our focus has been, and not the focus
- 9:21Speaker 5: of the American people, but the focus of the American
- 9:24Speaker 5: government has been in that direction. We have to put
- 9:26Speaker 5: an end to our headless militarism, and we have to
- 9:29Speaker 5: focus on ourselves, and we have to heal this nation
- 9:32Speaker 5: and prepairedness. Nice fam, what's up?
- 9:40Speaker 4: What else?
- 9:42Speaker 2: He's like, Hey, I've got on nineteen bracelets in a
- 9:44Speaker 2: picky ring. What do you want me to talk about?
- 9:46Speaker 4: I could do it all.
- 9:47Speaker 3: So when you hear that, like when you hear, what
- 9:50Speaker 3: I think is, you know, the self glazed piece of it.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Aside that that is.
- 9:56Speaker 3: A portrayal of the agenda of the socialist in this country,
- 10:00Speaker 3: what's your reaction when you hear hear it kind of
- 10:02Speaker 3: laid out that way?
- 10:04Speaker 2: So I take supreme offense to his mouth moving so
- 10:07Speaker 2: literally he could see he could say it's bless you,
- 10:10Speaker 2: and I'd be like, you're an asshole.
- 10:12Speaker 4: You know.
- 10:12Speaker 2: He is that guy who comes into the room and
- 10:14Speaker 2: he's like, all we want to do is help the children,
- 10:17Speaker 2: save the puppies, you know, just have nice breakfast, you know,
- 10:20Speaker 2: And he says it like that, like he's I don't
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't want to be labeled as a terrorist, even
- 10:24Speaker 2: though I said that America deserved nine to eleven and
- 10:26Speaker 2: I shot collar my dog and I call people a
- 10:29Speaker 2: bitch and tell them to go fuck themselves on my television.
- 10:31Speaker 2: But don't don't take it out of context, Like let
- 10:35Speaker 2: me not have to interpret what you're doing. Let me
- 10:38Speaker 2: just take you at face value. So face value is
- 10:41Speaker 2: you are a radical Islamic apologist. You do not believe
- 10:45Speaker 2: in American principles. And you've got all these dumb, white,
- 10:48Speaker 2: woke liberal Karens walking around and they're burken stocks, they
- 10:52Speaker 2: haven't showered, they don't believe in makeup or deodorant. It's
- 10:55Speaker 2: a problem. You know what, Let's lock them in that room.
- 10:58Speaker 2: You guys could have each other forever. But see, they
- 11:00Speaker 2: can't because in order to afford the lifestyle of being
- 11:05Speaker 2: holier than now, they need capitalists. And that's the part
- 11:08Speaker 2: they can't figure out. They don't know how to massage
- 11:11Speaker 2: the messaging and say, well, how are we going to
- 11:13Speaker 2: pay for that? But we're going to tax the rich. Well,
- 11:15Speaker 2: how are you going to tax the rich? They're not
- 11:17Speaker 2: rich anymore. You took all their money what like?
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, like see California, right, see, everybody to take peacing
- 11:23Speaker 3: out because California's get this five percent tax one time
- 11:26Speaker 3: on these billionaires. Everyone's like uh or not no. So
- 11:29Speaker 3: that's that piece of it. And I think that that's
- 11:31Speaker 3: one hundred percent valid. And by the way, I want
- 11:33Speaker 3: to come back to like why the democrats can never
- 11:35Speaker 3: get back to and why the socials specifically can never
- 11:37Speaker 3: get back to figuring out how to message on the
- 11:39Speaker 3: economics because I was get distracted by this one teeny
- 11:41Speaker 3: little thing which will play a clip about in a second.
- 11:44Speaker 3: But I also think just on its face, like to me,
- 11:48Speaker 3: the messaging there is attractive and you can sort of
- 11:50Speaker 3: understand like that messaging is, hows're on, mom, Donni in
- 11:53Speaker 3: my opinion, won the race of mayor New York City.
- 11:56Speaker 3: It's actually very local, right, like we want to take
- 11:58Speaker 3: care of you, We want to you know, I saw
- 12:02Speaker 3: this movie he Man and Theaters, and you know, they
- 12:04Speaker 3: have all these like different characters in there, and they
- 12:06Speaker 3: use the term I've never heard before, like fan service,
- 12:09Speaker 3: because like when they have like all the characters you
- 12:10Speaker 3: remember from like back in the day, Like oh yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 3: they have so and so like fan service. I mean
- 12:14Speaker 3: that's like it's constituent service. Like no, we want to
- 12:17Speaker 3: improve your actual life, like we will give you healthcare,
- 12:21Speaker 3: will fix your roads.
- 12:22Speaker 4: We want to do those things in a lot of ways.
- 12:24Speaker 3: It was part of the appeal of Spencer Proud, like hey,
- 12:25Speaker 3: we're gonna get the homeless people off the street. We're
- 12:28Speaker 3: gonna make it so you can go to the park
- 12:29Speaker 3: whereout have to step over drugs or poop. Like it's
- 12:31Speaker 3: just basic things that I think are sort of inoffensive.
- 12:35Speaker 3: The problem I think is that it's not just that
- 12:39Speaker 3: right to your point, I mean, there's there's two problems.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Number one is it's not based in economic reality, because
- 12:45Speaker 3: all those things that he just talked about cost money
- 12:47Speaker 3: and you have to get it from somewhere. And eventually,
- 12:51Speaker 3: like they wanted to tax the guy Ken Griffin with
- 12:53Speaker 3: Citadel Mom Done talked about they made a video outside
- 12:56Speaker 3: the guy's house. So what Ken Griffin decide to, Actually,
- 12:58Speaker 3: we're just gonna build a building in floor right, We're
- 13:00Speaker 3: not we're gonna sort of exempt out of the premise there.
- 13:03Speaker 3: So there's that one piece of it. But then there's
- 13:05Speaker 3: also this like they are essentially laundering. I guess that's
- 13:09Speaker 3: what my takeaway from this clip was. They are laundering
- 13:13Speaker 3: attractive domestic economic policy, or they're they're presenting domestic attractive
- 13:20Speaker 3: economic policy, but they're trying to launder like this anti Israeli,
- 13:25Speaker 3: anti Semitic kind of worldview through it. And occasionally they
- 13:29Speaker 3: slip up and they're honest about it, Like when they
- 13:32Speaker 3: chanted this last night, what are.
- 13:59Speaker 4: They like to say?
- 14:00Speaker 3: They said the quiet part out loud. They chanted the
- 14:03Speaker 3: quiet part out loud.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, here, there's so much to say. You know, you're
- 14:08Speaker 2: so polite, which I love that about you. It's very
- 14:10Speaker 2: very sweet. I'm not so I take issue with everything
- 14:14Speaker 2: these people do because the reason why these offerings sound
- 14:19Speaker 2: so attractive is because people are willfully ignorant. Willfully they
- 14:24Speaker 2: may not be stupid, They just want to be stupid
- 14:27Speaker 2: on certain topics so that they can feel good at night.
- 14:29Speaker 2: So you could say, you know, I would really love
- 14:32Speaker 2: to fix that road. It's got thirteen potholes in it.
- 14:34Speaker 2: That would be nice. Okay, how are we going to
- 14:37Speaker 2: pay for it? Who do we have to talk to?
- 14:39Speaker 2: What legislative action has to happen? Oh, I don't want
- 14:41Speaker 2: to getmired up in the details. They're those people, right,
- 14:45Speaker 2: So what bothers me about this whole thing? I want
- 14:48Speaker 2: to take care of your kids. You know, anybody who
- 14:50Speaker 2: is a student of history, which I know you are.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And I remember reading a book about I was always
- 14:56Speaker 2: fascinated by World War Two, and I was overcome with
- 14:59Speaker 2: sadness about well, what happened to the Jews under the
- 15:02Speaker 2: hands of Hitler. I just couldn't understand how people could
- 15:07Speaker 2: murder an entire generation of one culture out of hate.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I hate so many people, but I don't want to
- 15:15Speaker 2: murder them. I mean, I wouldn't mind if they got
- 15:17Speaker 2: hit by a bus and it wasn't my fault, But like,
- 15:19Speaker 2: I'm not going out and killing them. These people, all
- 15:22Speaker 2: kidding aside, were able to take children, women, men, do experiments,
- 15:27Speaker 2: murder them. Most horrible thing in our history. But what
- 15:30Speaker 2: was happening outside of that terror chamber, that was happening
- 15:35Speaker 2: in Auschwitz and other parts of Germany, was in Poland,
- 15:39Speaker 2: was that they were totally and completely mind fucking their kids.
- 15:45Speaker 2: They put the women and men to work and said
- 15:46Speaker 2: it was a war effort. And then they said, the
- 15:49Speaker 2: state will now take care of your children. The state
- 15:51Speaker 2: will take care of your health care. All you have
- 15:53Speaker 2: to do is work for the state. So everybody went
- 15:56Speaker 2: to work for the state. It was the war effort,
- 15:58Speaker 2: completely opposite of the American war effort, right, And so
- 16:01Speaker 2: the kids start going to school. But it's the school
- 16:04Speaker 2: of indoctrination, it's the school of high Hitler, it's the
- 16:07Speaker 2: school of the Nazi principles. If you ever saw the
- 16:10Speaker 2: sound of music and you see these kids and they're
- 16:13Speaker 2: like trying to pull them out of the school because
- 16:15Speaker 2: they're turning all these young men into Nazi soldiers. That
- 16:19Speaker 2: is exactly what Hassan Piker's talking about. Let us take
- 16:22Speaker 2: your children, We'll take care of them. Let us make
- 16:25Speaker 2: sure they're healthy. We'll take care of that too. Don't
- 16:28Speaker 2: worry about anything. Just work for the government, Just do
- 16:30Speaker 2: what we say. They're literally becoming part of a dictatorship
- 16:35Speaker 2: and they're allowing it. That's what I hear when.
- 16:37Speaker 4: He says that. So that's interesting.
- 16:40Speaker 3: I think the last clip we're going to play today
- 16:42Speaker 3: is connected to that because what it speaks to is
- 16:44Speaker 3: when you allow that kind of like uniform level of
- 16:49Speaker 3: mentality to kind of take root, then there is no
- 16:52Speaker 3: space for even moderate or mild descent. And we're seeing
- 16:56Speaker 3: that play out in a couple of different places. That's
- 16:59Speaker 3: an interesting way of looking at it. I think that no, like,
- 17:04Speaker 3: you're right, like, that's uh.
- 17:06Speaker 2: It's hard to say. I know, I know it makes
- 17:07Speaker 2: people uncomfortable, but it is what they're saying. They want
- 17:11Speaker 2: to control you, they want to mind control you, and
- 17:13Speaker 2: they want to control your kids. That's what they want,
- 17:16Speaker 2: and they're going to make it sound.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Pretty well, And I would say this, that's why it's
- 17:20Speaker 3: to your point about like there's a strong overlap between
- 17:24Speaker 3: the people who are disciples, if you like, of that
- 17:27Speaker 3: particular ideology, and they all are heavily educated, right. I
- 17:31Speaker 3: mean it's like you, Peter Schwiz, you used the term
- 17:34Speaker 3: in our podcast this week, elite over production is what
- 17:36Speaker 3: happens when you the system produces too many elites, too
- 17:40Speaker 3: many highly educated people. And so yeah, they're all products
- 17:44Speaker 3: of like none of those people at the party last
- 17:46Speaker 3: night have a welding certificate, right, Like none of those
- 17:49Speaker 3: people are working a blue collar job.
- 17:51Speaker 4: It's just true.
- 17:52Speaker 2: So anything though they don't, they can put it all day.
- 17:57Speaker 4: No, I think it's.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Interesting, Eric, And you're so good at this because I
- 18:00Speaker 2: know your whole life is in this education system and
- 18:03Speaker 2: you know so much. But there is there is something
- 18:06Speaker 2: to be said for what is happening with what they're learning, right,
- 18:11Speaker 2: So there's history or your version of it. So they're
- 18:16Speaker 2: getting like like my own kids they learn about nine
- 18:18Speaker 2: to eleven. I was there. What they're learning is not
- 18:22Speaker 2: what happened. It reminds me of like when you talk
- 18:25Speaker 2: to like somebody who was in Vietnam or you know,
- 18:26Speaker 2: if you talk to a World War Two veteran and
- 18:28Speaker 2: they tell you what happened, you're like, that's not what
- 18:30Speaker 2: I read. It's really scary.
- 18:33Speaker 3: It is scary, and I think people stop learning, like
- 18:36Speaker 3: the uh, the triumphant and heroic parts of our country's history.
- 18:40Speaker 4: And I think that's you know, something else that we touched.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yes, and I think it's it's not it's not unrelated, right,
- 18:45Speaker 3: like the rise of the appeal, this exotic alternate system
- 18:49Speaker 3: with the decline of our memory and knowledge of who
- 18:52Speaker 3: we actually are and the founding principles and includes like
- 18:55Speaker 3: individualism and you know, desire to kind of go out
- 18:58Speaker 3: and win and in liberty all those things.
- 19:00Speaker 4: No, it's real.
- 19:00Speaker 3: It's a real thing, and you're seeing it play out
- 19:02Speaker 3: in real time with unfortunately real world consequences in New
- 19:06Speaker 3: York City coming perhaps to a major city near you.
- 19:09Speaker 3: You've already got socialist nominations from mayor in Los Angeles
- 19:12Speaker 3: and Washington, d C. Socialist nominees I believe in Michigan
- 19:16Speaker 3: as well. So yeah, we'll stay tuned.
- 19:19Speaker 2: And Eric also remember some of these people that are
- 19:22Speaker 2: winning these local state assemblymen, lower tier seats that are
- 19:27Speaker 2: state level only. I mean there's one moment she's carrying
- 19:29Speaker 2: the Hamas.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Flag right well and to the point and to the
- 19:33Speaker 3: point about it being like the heavily educated, like the
- 19:36Speaker 3: or another word for heavily educated would be indoctrinated.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Is this clip you pulled? I believe it's actually.
- 19:42Speaker 3: From a little while ago, But here's somebody talking about
- 19:45Speaker 3: college students being congratulated by Iran and al Qaeda, and
- 19:52Speaker 3: someone's asking them, hey, do you know like talking about
- 19:55Speaker 3: like basic history related to nine to eleven not too
- 19:58Speaker 3: long ago. I was shocked by this, and then I
- 20:00Speaker 3: did a little bit more research. Well'll kind of I'll
- 20:02Speaker 3: finish off the click with but I was shocked at
- 20:05Speaker 3: these are college graduates being told, Hey, Iran and al
- 20:08Speaker 3: Kada said thank you to your support for these kind
- 20:11Speaker 3: of antiser early protests after October seventh, and this was
- 20:15Speaker 3: their reaction.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Hello, and welcome to Iranian graduation. But first a message
- 20:21Speaker 6: from the terrorist proxy state sponsored Did you guys see that?
- 20:23Speaker 4: Al Kayda? Just thank you guys? They thanked all the
- 20:25Speaker 4: college protesters and everything.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Who these hesbla, come.
- 20:28Speaker 4: On, I make you happy?
- 20:28Speaker 2: Uh huh, yeah, of course, we're supported.
- 20:30Speaker 6: It makes you feel like there's actually some kind of home.
- 20:32Speaker 5: For one hundred buck.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Who was the terrorist group behind nine to eleven Al Qaida?
- 20:38Speaker 4: But you think that nine to eleven had some justification?
- 20:41Speaker 4: Good in some ways.
- 20:42Speaker 6: Can you guys find gas on a map?
- 20:45Speaker 2: I think we need a better mop.
- 20:46Speaker 4: You can't find it.
- 20:48Speaker 6: Who is the number one sponsor of global terrorists in America?
- 20:51Speaker 4: The US New York New York City state that what
- 20:55Speaker 4: my answer was?
- 20:55Speaker 2: Iran?
- 20:57Speaker 4: They give one billion dollars a year to all of
- 20:59Speaker 4: their harrist proxies, and they're not good. Where is slavery
- 21:03Speaker 4: legal in the Middle East? Israel, you know, and Yemen?
- 21:06Speaker 6: The Huthi's brought it back.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Oh my god? Wow?
- 21:08Speaker 4: What Ahui?
- 21:09Speaker 6: Where is the only country where it's legal to be
- 21:11Speaker 6: gay in the Middle East?
- 21:12Speaker 4: I would say Asia. Do you know it's Israel?
- 21:14Speaker 2: I don't consider it a country. I would go to
- 21:16Speaker 2: Palestine if you.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Went to Palace and you'd be thrown off of a building. Hell.
- 21:19Speaker 4: They is like the gayest city on Earth.
- 21:20Speaker 2: I doubt it's the gayest city on it.
- 21:22Speaker 4: It's really gay.
- 21:23Speaker 6: You know what The number one slogan the Iranian government
- 21:26Speaker 6: chances death to America.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Honestly, like, I kind of don't blame it.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Really, do you think Iran trying to spread Islamic jihad
- 21:32Speaker 6: is that the same as America trying to spread democracy?
- 21:35Speaker 4: Arguably, Yeah, women won't.
- 21:36Speaker 6: Be able to show their hair, gay people get thrown
- 21:38Speaker 6: off buildings in these places.
- 21:39Speaker 4: We have to respect that, and I'll still be supportive.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Once again, students don't seem to know what they stand for,
- 21:44Speaker 6: especially when they're standing with terrorism.
- 21:46Speaker 4: The Supreme Leader thanks you wow, So listen. So I
- 21:51Speaker 4: was like I hadn't.
- 21:52Speaker 3: I was unaware of college students in the United States
- 21:55Speaker 3: getting a shout out from Iran and al Qaida. So
- 21:57Speaker 3: I looked it up and sure enough, in wa washerr
- 22:00Speaker 3: Journal ran an article about it because they actually issued
- 22:02Speaker 3: like a legit statement in May, in May of twenty
- 22:06Speaker 3: twenty five. So I've pulled the statement and listened to
- 22:09Speaker 3: what this says. This is like, while this is from
- 22:13Speaker 3: al Qaeda. While we support the assassination of the infidel
- 22:17Speaker 3: Zionists and the beheading of them, we also appreciate and
- 22:21Speaker 3: value the movement of Western demonstrators and sit in students
- 22:24Speaker 3: from Western universities who, through their sit ins in protests
- 22:28Speaker 3: express their rejection of the genocide taking place in Gaza.
- 22:32Speaker 3: So like from al Qaeda they give a shout out to.
- 22:37Speaker 4: US college students.
- 22:39Speaker 3: And beheadings, like in the same statement, So that is
- 22:45Speaker 3: the world part.
- 22:46Speaker 2: You do that research and you look at that, right,
- 22:49Speaker 2: yeah if I so. It's it's like when you tell
- 22:52Speaker 2: people like, oh, did you know the number one state
- 22:55Speaker 2: sponsor of tarazy Rum, They're like, that's not true. I'm like, yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 2: it's not. It's not up for debate, like it just is.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Those are the things that I struggle with, right, Like
- 23:03Speaker 2: when you talk to somebody. I have a friend who's
- 23:06Speaker 2: very middle of the road, and it drives me absolutely insane,
- 23:09Speaker 2: Like I can't even tell you. And one of the
- 23:11Speaker 2: things she says all the time is, well, of course
- 23:13Speaker 2: we have an influx of unassimilated people because of all
- 23:17Speaker 2: the wars in the Middle East. I'm like, yeah, that
- 23:19Speaker 2: makes no sense, bro, Like even if you had an
- 23:23Speaker 2: influx of people that came in because they were, you know,
- 23:26Speaker 2: unable to find a place to live, door to do
- 23:30Speaker 2: to the war toward nature of their country, why you
- 23:33Speaker 2: want to continue that shit here? I don't know if
- 23:35Speaker 2: you noticed, but shit's on fire in your country over here,
- 23:38Speaker 2: it's not try it our way, just you know, just
- 23:40Speaker 2: for a little while. You know, like it could stop,
- 23:42Speaker 2: you know, it could put everything back on It's fine,
- 23:44Speaker 2: just a little while. I this is a concept to
- 23:47Speaker 2: me that is like why do you want to do
- 23:49Speaker 2: it here? But it comes from hate. That hate is
- 23:52Speaker 2: one hundred percent supported, allowed and encouraged by their religion.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Again A yeah, And I think that's like where people
- 24:02Speaker 3: struggle because you know, it's one thing talking about like
- 24:04Speaker 3: the country of Iran, and it's this weird space because
- 24:06Speaker 3: like Iran has a government that's run by a certain
- 24:09Speaker 3: ideology and that's very different than the people that are there.
- 24:12Speaker 3: And that's one of the reasons why you saw these
- 24:13Speaker 3: protests and so you know, it's part of the rationale
- 24:15Speaker 3: some people had for wanting to justify you know, the
- 24:18Speaker 3: military action. There's it's complicated, yeah, but the reality is
- 24:22Speaker 3: is that like to the point, those are US college
- 24:24Speaker 3: students in that video who just graduated and you know
- 24:27Speaker 3: who knows, you know, how edited it is and everything else,
- 24:30Speaker 3: but but that's see it sounds true, and that quotes
- 24:35Speaker 3: from those people at those Ivy League educations sound very correct,
- 24:38Speaker 3: and I do think it's like, yeah, those are the
- 24:40Speaker 3: people who are voting for those socialist candidates that won
- 24:44Speaker 3: in New York last night.
- 24:45Speaker 2: So Zach Sage who did that video. He does a
- 24:48Speaker 2: lot of stuff like that, and he gets people just
- 24:50Speaker 2: you just ask some point blank, like what do you
- 24:51Speaker 2: think of this? What do you think about I'm sure
- 24:53Speaker 2: he pieces things together for time. I don't think for contexts,
- 24:56Speaker 2: but definitely for time. But during the Mom Dani New
- 24:59Speaker 2: York may oral run, there were a ton of people
- 25:02Speaker 2: who were doing various videos in I guess which park
- 25:07Speaker 2: was it. It was the park by NYU. But AnyWho,
- 25:10Speaker 2: they were almost four straight. They're doing these interviews with
- 25:12Speaker 2: these students and they're asking them what do you like
- 25:14Speaker 2: about Mom Donnie? They couldn't name one thing. And so
- 25:18Speaker 2: there was this table set up every single day Washington
- 25:20Speaker 2: Square Park. Washington Square Park. So there's this table set
- 25:23Speaker 2: up every day in Washington Square Park. You could walk by,
- 25:25Speaker 2: you see it every day. And it was I'm a Muslim,
- 25:28Speaker 2: asked me why I'm not for Mom Donnie? And I'm like,
- 25:32Speaker 2: now do I believe that these you know, sofi looking
- 25:35Speaker 2: gentlemen with the orange beards and full garber Muslim. Yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 2: they look pretty Muslim. They look like they were on point. Okay, fine,
- 25:41Speaker 2: so I go over. I'm like, how you doing? Why
- 25:43Speaker 2: shouldn't I go for mom? Donnie? My god. They had
- 25:45Speaker 2: a million reasons they could cite them. They knew all
- 25:48Speaker 2: the legislative process. I was like, you're better than the
- 25:51Speaker 2: American students going to NYU down the street. And they
- 25:55Speaker 2: really did. And then the next week people were going
- 25:58Speaker 2: up to them and asking them. So they got this
- 26:00Speaker 2: circle of kids to sit with the table. These kids
- 26:03Speaker 2: were blown away. They're like, we're Muslim. This is we're
- 26:07Speaker 2: telling you. He's bad. He wants to take cops out
- 26:09Speaker 2: of our neighborl we have a terrible crime problem. We
- 26:12Speaker 2: need these cops. So it's really interesting to see who
- 26:15Speaker 2: they're willing to take the information from, right, not some
- 26:18Speaker 2: blonde here, blue eyed lady saying here's how we have
- 26:20Speaker 2: to do this. This is not okay. They don't want
- 26:22Speaker 2: to hear that.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Don't no.
- 26:24Speaker 3: By the way, I should have mentioned, but like those
- 26:27Speaker 3: socialists like this, and this is the thing, you gotta
- 26:29Speaker 3: be careful for.
- 26:30Speaker 4: These guys.
- 26:30Speaker 3: They come out of these university systems and this is
- 26:32Speaker 3: the problem. You don't teach like the founding fathers and
- 26:36Speaker 3: like to here's the principles behind why our government set
- 26:38Speaker 3: up this way. On the socialist agenda is to like
- 26:41Speaker 3: legitimately get rid of the Senate. They want to elite,
- 26:44Speaker 3: eliminate the United States Senate, and they want to have
- 26:47Speaker 3: the President United States and the Supreme Court report to
- 26:50Speaker 3: and be subservient to Congress. So it's like a fundamental
- 26:53Speaker 3: reshaping of just like the three branch of government that
- 26:56Speaker 3: we've had for checks notes two d and fifty years.
- 27:00Speaker 4: So I don't know, you know, it's.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Just it's probably worth reminding folks of why we're set
- 27:06Speaker 3: up the way we are.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Well, it's like Reagan always said, you know, how long
- 27:09Speaker 2: can you keep it for? How long can you keep
- 27:12Speaker 2: it for? What can you do with your country if
- 27:15Speaker 2: you are unable to keep your democracy, your republic and
- 27:19Speaker 2: keep your people in check and understand that we all
- 27:22Speaker 2: have to work together. We are unable to do this
- 27:25Speaker 2: as we fight against one another. And that's exactly what's happening. Like,
- 27:28Speaker 2: all right, we made two hundred and fifty years. I
- 27:30Speaker 2: guess we had a good run, right, But you can't
- 27:31Speaker 2: do that because we have kids. So like, if you
- 27:34Speaker 2: have kids and you care about your kids and their future,
- 27:37Speaker 2: you will fight till your last dying breath to protect
- 27:40Speaker 2: that which was afforded to you because your parents did
- 27:42Speaker 2: it for you. That's how this works. But see these
- 27:45Speaker 2: people that are Democrats, socialists, first of all, they're very stupid,
- 27:48Speaker 2: incredibly stupid. I mean, this woman, what's her name, Daryl Laza,
- 27:50Speaker 2: whatever the hell it is, you're in New York, it's
- 27:53Speaker 2: thirty two years old, never had a job. I'm like,
- 27:56Speaker 2: I don't understand how you got to thirty two and
- 27:57Speaker 2: never had a job, Like, I actually don't. How are
- 27:59Speaker 2: you living? What is happened? Like are you homeless? I
- 28:01Speaker 2: don't get it. So nothing she says is valid. By
- 28:04Speaker 2: the way, she could chauffeur it around New York. Right now,
- 28:07Speaker 2: they have this huge investigation and going into mom Donnie
- 28:10Speaker 2: because technically, under the mayoral rule of New York, you're
- 28:14Speaker 2: only allowed two modes of transportation one and then for
- 28:17Speaker 2: anybody who happens to be working with you that day
- 28:20Speaker 2: or immediate family throughout the city of New York. He
- 28:23Speaker 2: has like eleven you know, they're just all over and
- 28:26Speaker 2: all with security all on the taxpayer's dollar.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:29Speaker 2: But that's how socialists work. They love spending other people's money, right,
- 28:32Speaker 2: it's their mantra. So this woman wins and she has
- 28:36Speaker 2: this quote, which is, I didn't bring any napkins with me,
- 28:39Speaker 2: so I just used the American flag. Do you know
- 28:42Speaker 2: what I'm saying? Like I it is? So it is.
- 28:46Speaker 2: So it's a rage bait every day, it really is.
- 28:49Speaker 2: And you know what I'm in for it. I'm all
- 28:51Speaker 2: about it. Rage me. I'm in. I'm here, I got
- 28:53Speaker 2: plenty of it, and I am ready.
- 28:55Speaker 4: To get your coffee. Yeah, all day.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Every day, I'm like, give it to me. I'm going
- 29:00Speaker 2: to knock you over with facts. But the problem is
- 29:02Speaker 2: they don't even absorb it, right, So you could spew
- 29:05Speaker 2: facts all day long. You look at the fact that
- 29:07Speaker 2: you know, mom, Donnie got up last night and he
- 29:09Speaker 2: did just say this was a great night. He was like, Inshallah,
- 29:12Speaker 2: we have to give thanks to Allah. No we don't, bitch,
- 29:14Speaker 2: I don't give thanks to Allah. You do that on
- 29:16Speaker 2: your time. They gotta think all the mosque, find your
- 29:18Speaker 2: way there, praise them all you want, have a nice day.
- 29:21Speaker 2: We have a religion of freedom. Here. I'm all for it.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Could you get out of the street. Stop praising in
- 29:25Speaker 2: the middle of the street. Thank you. You know, Mecca
- 29:27Speaker 2: can be found on fifty sixth Street. Nice Moss there. Enjoy.
- 29:31Speaker 2: But it's not about that. It's about domination and it
- 29:34Speaker 2: is about a cultural overhaul. They want you to succumb
- 29:38Speaker 2: to them. And what's happening is you got all these
- 29:40Speaker 2: dumb white liberals who are like, yeah, it sounds good.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, are you he died? Vaka? Do you
- 29:45Speaker 2: guys have can we do that? I'm like, you know
- 29:46Speaker 2: that's haram you know that, right, But they don't. That's
- 29:49Speaker 2: the problem. Anyways, I know I'm down down the rabbit hole,
- 29:52Speaker 2: and I know you have another story. You're wearing a
- 29:54Speaker 2: sweater today, for those of you listening and not watching,
- 29:57Speaker 2: Eric is wearing a sweatshirt today to honor one of
- 29:59Speaker 2: the cli we're about to play.
- 30:01Speaker 3: Well, listen, you know this is just a this is
- 30:03Speaker 3: a California brand. It's Aviator Nation, it's American clothing. It's
- 30:08Speaker 3: also teen girl adjacent, like most of the clothes off
- 30:11Speaker 3: and but but yeah, so this is story that's it's
- 30:16Speaker 3: kind of going wild. So I was in California recently,
- 30:19Speaker 3: and it's ironically, you know, like you get out to
- 30:23Speaker 3: California and you go to I've decided like I will
- 30:25Speaker 3: always now go back to California in June for several reasons,
- 30:29Speaker 3: one of which is because the weather is just much
- 30:31Speaker 3: nicer out in northern California in June than it is
- 30:33Speaker 3: in Florida, where I live, but also because I was
- 30:37Speaker 3: in awe of the ubiquity and prevalence of pride flags
- 30:41Speaker 3: throughout the state, and so I ended up in many
- 30:44Speaker 3: different towns where the pride flags are like lining the roads.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And then I was like, hey, wait a minute, Like
- 30:50Speaker 3: I literally got to there, I think.
- 30:51Speaker 4: On I was there on June nineteenth. Juneteenth.
- 30:54Speaker 3: I was like, wait, so we made this a federal
- 30:56Speaker 3: holiday because it's like commemorated and honoring the end of slave.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Seems like a pretty big deal.
- 31:01Speaker 3: And then I was like, wait, June, like the end
- 31:04Speaker 3: of slavery is like a day and doesn't have a flag,
- 31:08Speaker 3: but June is the whole month for like a lifestyle.
- 31:12Speaker 4: It just to kind of just hold those two thoughts
- 31:13Speaker 4: for a little bit.
- 31:14Speaker 3: So I was kind of thinking about that, and then
- 31:16Speaker 3: it's like you talk about like demanding obedience and subservience
- 31:20Speaker 3: to an ideology.
- 31:22Speaker 4: That's a real thing. And this is what this kind
- 31:24Speaker 4: of clip shows.
- 31:24Speaker 3: So in California in June, almost every baseball team has
- 31:30Speaker 3: a Pride Night, so every like, I think the Texas
- 31:32Speaker 3: Rangers is the only thing that doesn't do it, but
- 31:34Speaker 3: every other team will have a night where they wear
- 31:37Speaker 3: like a rainbow kind of lettered cap or some kind
- 31:40Speaker 3: of an insignia. And as you might imagine, San Francisco,
- 31:44Speaker 3: the San Francsco Giants, Pride night's a really big deal
- 31:47Speaker 3: to some people, so they have a pride Knight. They
- 31:50Speaker 3: had caps that had the rainbow colored things. Well, three
- 31:54Speaker 3: baseball players, right, three baseball players chose to write a
- 31:58Speaker 3: Bible verse from Genesis about like the rainbow what it
- 32:02Speaker 3: stands for on their cap. That's it still wore the
- 32:06Speaker 3: cap just happened to wrote write a baseball write a
- 32:08Speaker 3: Bible verse on there. Well, then Major League Baseball send
- 32:12Speaker 3: a letter saying, hey, by the way, we have this policy,
- 32:14Speaker 3: you're not supposed to write on the caps. And then
- 32:16Speaker 3: the United States Senator Josh Holly wrote a letter to
- 32:18Speaker 3: baseball saying, wait, really, you're telling people that you can't
- 32:20Speaker 3: write a Bible versus on their caps, and then they
- 32:22Speaker 3: kind of became this thing.
- 32:24Speaker 4: So then next thing, you know.
- 32:25Speaker 3: That president of the San Francisco Giants has a press
- 32:28Speaker 3: conference and he's like, look, we made a statement. You know,
- 32:30Speaker 3: they could have done it handled better. I'm not gonna
- 32:33Speaker 3: talk about it anymore, just baseball questions. By the way,
- 32:35Speaker 3: we're fifteen games under five hundred, trade deadlines coming up.
- 32:38Speaker 4: We're trying to move on.
- 32:39Speaker 3: But because he refused to defend the whatever it was, like,
- 32:46Speaker 3: people are acting like it's like the most homophobic.
- 32:49Speaker 4: This is San Francisco Giants.
- 32:51Speaker 3: It's wild, which has led to this clip of this
- 32:53Speaker 3: guy protesting with this sign outside of the stadium where
- 32:58Speaker 3: the Giants play.
- 33:01Speaker 7: This is the first time I've ever been embarrassed to
- 33:03Speaker 7: be a giantsmoan. I mean it was shocking, you know,
- 33:06Speaker 7: like I never would have expected that from this team,
- 33:08Speaker 7: and once it did happen, I would have expected a reaction,
- 33:12Speaker 7: And the fact that neither of those things are happening
- 33:15Speaker 7: is just like I feel like I don't even know
- 33:17Speaker 7: this team anymore. I haven't missed an opening day except
- 33:19Speaker 7: for COVID year. You know, like I've every Star Wars Day,
- 33:23Speaker 7: every fan fest, every fan appreciation day. I'm I live
- 33:27Speaker 7: like this was supposed to be my happy place. This
- 33:29Speaker 7: is the place that I go to feel joy and
- 33:31Speaker 7: connection with my community, and they've taken that, They've ruined it,
- 33:35Speaker 7: so I don't I don't want to be.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Part of it.
- 33:38Speaker 7: If I gave all my tickets away, I canceled all
- 33:40Speaker 7: my subscriptions, They're not going to get a sense for me.
- 33:42Speaker 7: And I'm encouraging all my friends to do the same.
- 33:44Speaker 7: And like, the thing is, like I really want to
- 33:46Speaker 7: go back in that park. I want to go in
- 33:47Speaker 7: there and feel good about it. I want them to
- 33:50Speaker 7: do something that makes me feel good about it. You know,
- 33:53Speaker 7: I don't want to not be in there. I love
- 33:55Speaker 7: this place, But like, what else am I gonna do?
- 33:59Speaker 7: Because at the end of the day, being a decent
- 34:01Speaker 7: human being and standing up for civil rights it's more
- 34:02Speaker 7: important than baseball. And there's very few things in my
- 34:05Speaker 7: life that are more important than baseball, but that is one.
- 34:10Speaker 4: Well, at the end of.
- 34:11Speaker 7: Every game they play, I left my heart in San
- 34:13Speaker 7: Francisco and I would sing it with my family, would
- 34:16Speaker 7: put our arms around each other and sing and it
- 34:18Speaker 7: was just a and for this to happen here, it really,
- 34:21Speaker 7: it truly broke my heart.
- 34:23Speaker 4: And so it broke my heart.
- 34:24Speaker 2: In San Francisco civil rights? Did you hear about that?
- 34:28Speaker 2: Civil rights?
- 34:29Speaker 3: So I agree, you know, I will take a stand here, Linda.
- 34:33Speaker 3: I agree that civil rights are more important than baseball,
- 34:41Speaker 3: except for apparently the right of people to write up
- 34:44Speaker 3: to not wear a hat if they don't want to,
- 34:47Speaker 3: or they do are forced to wear a hat as
- 34:49Speaker 3: they believed they were, to write a Bible verse, a
- 34:52Speaker 3: Bible verse, an inoffensive Bible verse about rainbow on their hat,
- 34:56Speaker 3: Like and that's what's causing these people to lose their minds.
- 34:59Speaker 3: There was a little the headline in the San Francisco
- 35:02Speaker 3: newspaper said, fans attend baseball game despite gay pride controversy.
- 35:09Speaker 4: It's like it's just wild.
- 35:12Speaker 3: So like it just shows you when this ideology is
- 35:14Speaker 3: allowed to kind of manifest and like everyone's sort of like, oh,
- 35:16Speaker 3: this is what we do.
- 35:17Speaker 4: We're worried to this. It's like there's zero room.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Three players wrote a Bible verse on the hat, and
- 35:23Speaker 3: now it's like and then and then the manager's like, look,
- 35:25Speaker 3: we're not talking about anymore, Like we're just moving on
- 35:27Speaker 3: and people are losing their mind.
- 35:30Speaker 2: What's funny about it is, I have you know, I
- 35:34Speaker 2: have a degree in music. I have a lot of
- 35:35Speaker 2: gay friends because that stereotype is real, Like stereotypes exists
- 35:39Speaker 2: for a reason.
- 35:40Speaker 3: I was wondering why you like, why you flexed about
- 35:43Speaker 3: your music degree. I was like, wait, okay, like I
- 35:44Speaker 3: also score.
- 35:46Speaker 4: What are we doing we compare in cvs?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Like because I think there'res But anyways, so but I remember, like,
- 35:54Speaker 2: you know, I was asking a friend of mine the
- 35:56Speaker 2: other day. I said, I said, how do you feel
- 35:58Speaker 2: about this thing? He goes, Oh my god, he goes,
- 36:00Speaker 2: I wish they would stop hijacking the fact that we
- 36:02Speaker 2: like to have sex with men for their issues. He's like,
- 36:05Speaker 2: who gives a shit? And I was like, huh, he goes,
- 36:08Speaker 2: most of us feel that way. We just want to
- 36:10Speaker 2: go live our lives. We want to go do our thing.
- 36:13Speaker 2: He goes this hohle and he goes and not for nothing,
- 36:15Speaker 2: He goes, I don't believe in men parading like assless
- 36:19Speaker 2: chaps on Sixth Avenue in front of kids and strollers.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Like that's not who we are. He goes, that's some
- 36:25Speaker 2: like S and M bullshit. He's like, that's not you know,
- 36:28Speaker 2: And I thought to myself, that's interesting, Like, you know,
- 36:31Speaker 2: like that is a message that definitely doesn't get out there,
- 36:34Speaker 2: and this idea that because I don't. First of all,
- 36:37Speaker 2: I hate that they took the rainbow. It drives me insane.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Second of all, it's so ridiculous that we are in
- 36:42Speaker 2: a place in time in our nation where if you
- 36:45Speaker 2: are not willing to wear the rainbow, it means you
- 36:48Speaker 2: hate the gays. No, I actually don't hate the gays.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I could give a shit less about the gaze. Go
- 36:53Speaker 2: do you have a great life? That's awesome. I would
- 36:56Speaker 2: love to dedicate a month to veterans. I would love
- 36:59Speaker 2: to go dedicated a month to firefighters who saved people
- 37:02Speaker 2: from burning houses, or the guy who built and saved
- 37:05Speaker 2: all those people in North Carolina, who's up for the potential,
- 37:08Speaker 2: you know, medal of honor for all the things that
- 37:10Speaker 2: he's done for free over the last three hundred something day. Like,
- 37:13Speaker 2: there's amazing things to honor. I don't think deciding who
- 37:17Speaker 2: you want to have sex with at the end of
- 37:19Speaker 2: the day needs to be a month long escapade. It
- 37:22Speaker 2: just doesn't. Hey, guess what gay rights is a thing? Now, congratulations,
- 37:26Speaker 2: let's have a day. I'll give you a day, that's fine,
- 37:29Speaker 2: a month, a month to celebrate this. It's just there's
- 37:32Speaker 2: no it doesn't make sense. And if somebody doesn't believe
- 37:36Speaker 2: in homosexuality because of their religion, Muslims, Christians, you know,
- 37:43Speaker 2: devout Jews, they don't believe it. There's a lot of
- 37:46Speaker 2: like they just want to take the turn against the Bible.
- 37:48Speaker 2: If somebody had put a Quran quote up there and
- 37:50Speaker 2: said this verse of the Quran says this, I guarantee
- 37:54Speaker 2: you nobody would have said a damn word. But it's
- 37:56Speaker 2: all about who you want to oppress.
- 37:58Speaker 3: So I had to I'm an agree with you, and
- 38:00Speaker 3: I'm gonnasagree with you. I'm gonna agree with you. I
- 38:01Speaker 3: hadn't thought about that. It's a brilliant point. Had had
- 38:04Speaker 3: the Giants had a Muslim baseball player and had they
- 38:07Speaker 3: written a Quran verse on their hat, there would not
- 38:11Speaker 3: have been this level of converse.
- 38:12Speaker 4: I totally agree with you about that. It's brilliant point.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Where I disagree with you is about my collective interest
- 38:19Speaker 3: in who people have sex with. I'm actually very interested
- 38:22Speaker 3: in who other people are having sex with, and so
- 38:24Speaker 3: I want to encourage the audience, like tweet at me,
- 38:27Speaker 3: let me know who are you doing? You know what
- 38:28Speaker 3: I mean, Like you can name them if it's like
- 38:30Speaker 3: whatever it is at Eric underscore Eggers like I'm I'm
- 38:33Speaker 3: here for that. I don't you know it's cheaper than cable,
- 38:37Speaker 3: But I would say, yeah, no, it's it's an interesting thing.
- 38:40Speaker 3: It's become much more than just it's meant to like
- 38:46Speaker 3: ward off against oppression. But I think it's ironically become oppressive,
- 38:49Speaker 3: clearly in its own way, as many things do in
- 38:52Speaker 3: the story. I think highlights that it's just it's really bizarre.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I will end today's show with the tolerant Left is
- 39:02Speaker 2: never tolerant every day all day. It is so true,
- 39:06Speaker 2: and I'm so sick of it. And I think a
- 39:08Speaker 2: lot of other people.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Are too, and like and like legit like so that
- 39:11Speaker 3: think let's combine these two things were they have in common? Right,
- 39:13Speaker 3: Like we started with these socialists. The socialists are not
- 39:16Speaker 3: tolerant of people who like Israel.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Like just like.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Social that's clearly it, Like I mean, that's like why
- 39:23Speaker 3: they're saying, like, hey, if you like Israel that we
- 39:26Speaker 3: don't like that, and we end with this protester who
- 39:29Speaker 3: didn't like that somebody had a Bible verse on his
- 39:32Speaker 3: on their baseball cap, like that is the thing that
- 39:34Speaker 3: got people upset and it's just an interesting Uh. These
- 39:37Speaker 3: are the trends that continue to grow among a certain
- 39:40Speaker 3: second with populations, and those are the populations we like
- 39:42Speaker 3: talk about here on this show.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Yes, and we will continue to trash them as they
- 39:46Speaker 2: like to trash back. And I think we're going to
- 39:47Speaker 2: win this fight. Eric, I don't know my money's on us,
- 39:50Speaker 2: but this is the Roague Recap. We are sound bites
- 39:53Speaker 2: Eric Eggars, Lena McLaughlin at Eric underscore Eggers at Linda
- 39:56Speaker 2: mick at road recap. Guys, right to us, tell us
- 39:59Speaker 2: what you want to hear about. We would love to know.
- 40:00Speaker 2: We would love to trash more people that you want
- 40:02Speaker 2: to be trash. We're in for it. We're here for it,
- 40:04Speaker 2: all right, all right, you guys, have a great night.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Good night, everybody,
