Florida State’s defensive back recruiting got a major boost as four-star athlete Za’Kari Johnson committed to the Seminoles, reclassifying from 2028 to join the 2027 class. After weighing offers from Oregon, Alabama, and Georgia, Johnson chose FSU for his versatility, size, and potential as a cornerback or safety. His commitment elevates FSU’s 2027 class to 15 total and ranks them 53rd nationally, joining fellow DB Jemari Foreman.
