- @Indy_bet: Yeah. f1capper: Apex Insiders is back for another betting preview. we got the Portland GP push to cash. INAT Rogers with me at Indie Bed. Well also it's been a couple weeks, feels like forever for me. It's but not really much activity. Last week was the first time since what, like January, where we had no major American motorsports happening. Basically, NAS car was off, Indy car was off, F one was off, and it felt absolutely weird. I don't know about you guys, but it felt very, very weird. So I kinda had the itch. So here we are. I almost forgot we had Portland this week. For some reason I thought we were still on vacation, but super pumped. How are you guys feeling? @Indy_bet: Yeah, great man. Same. I forgot to. I thought I had one more iN8Rodgers: Yeah, good, good. Excited for it to be back. @Indy_bet: week, but but this is this is my favorite like four week stretch of the year 'cause this is I call this build the football bankroll time, you know. f1capper: Yeah. @Indy_bet: So do what you do what you best and make money in any car so I can try to just, you know, tread water all year betting NFL in college games and then and then yeah, we're back. And you know, I can't wait for that Dixon money and that Kirkwood money future money to hit the account. In a couple months or a month and a half here, ready to go. f1capper: Well it's one month, man. We got one month and we're there. I can't believe it actually. It feels feels crazy to say this, but yeah, we're we're at the tail end. We're like what, four more races left, I think. iN8Rodgers: Six actually, six in five weeks. @Indy_bet: yeah, five or six. f1capper: that's right, that's right. We still have the DC added. Yep. but yeah, like that's it's crazy. I am excited for NFL, but I also am not getting my hypes up, just because being a sad Cowboys fan. But we do have preseason kicking off Thursday, I believe, with the Hall of Fame game. Which yeah, I I love the I love the ten point tease that I get at minus one ten. option with my book. Most people don't get that, so I'm very lucky and I that's all I do is just blindly go overs on them. So it's gonna be my play. But that is neither here nor there. We have Portland GP. I will hand it off to Inate Rogers on the preview before we get into odds. iN8Rodgers: Sure, we're at Portland like we said. so you know I think the saying something like, But you know, Portland gets weird or something like that. But for road courses we like them to stay quiet and steady for our bets. we have a seven race history here, Portland. The track is just under two miles long with twelve turns. it's a pretty straightforward three stopper. There there's that hectic crazy turn one which has been clean the last couple years, but you really kinda have to hold your breath and cross your fingers when the race starts that none of your guys get taken out. But there are those times that you win a matchup within thirty seconds of the race starting, so it can be it's it's scary times when that race starts, but that's the best passing opportunity as well there turn one. It's a heavy breaking zone. and then turn seven through eleven on the backside is it's kind of a strain. But there's some kinks in there. They fly through there 180 plus miles per hour the last couple years. They've been banging these cars next to each other at super high speeds. Been kind of some crazy wrecks, things like that. But those are kind of your two best places to get some passing done. The first year of this race in 2018, Sado won in a kind of a messy four-caution race. He won starting in 20th. But ever since then, there's been six races where the drivers started second, first, first. First, fifth, second, and third. So two point three starting average lens towards the the people who qualify well. that's kind of what we like to look for on these road courses. eighty-six percent of your podium finishers started seventh or better. So only three guys have come from eighth or worse to find the podium. top five, you do have one third of those top five finishers somewhere thirteenth to twenty second. So maybe you find a driver that you like that showed good pace. When the weekend started, and maybe they just don't qualify that well, and you can take a little bit of a long shot top five if you have those. or maybe a matchup or something. But yeah, Pinsky's won four of seven here, mostly off of willpower. Polo's been really good here. He's won two of the other three. and then I think Andretti is kind of Interesting 'cause they've been improved on road courses this year, but they've been so bad here, even after testing here last year, they've been kind of rough. And so Will Power going over there, how much of that setup can he bring? or th or will they still struggle? Is there just kind of a demon between Portland and Andretti in that car? f1capper: Yeah, no, no, it's good good preview, man. some of the thoughts that I had was you brought up the taking the chance on guys that might have not qualified well or practice. One thing to note is it's such a short track. It's like what 58 seconds to get around the track. So during practice, when it gets crowded, you may not see representation from some of these drivers. So overreaction, maybe some underreaction can happen. As you're watching practice one and two. So keep that in mind. And it could maybe it happens in qualifying as well. So the traffic is basically what's going to cause that. You're going to see lap traffic constantly impede some other drivers. And then this type of track, momentum track, right? This has got the long, medium, high speed, sweeping turns. it is dangerous too. Yeah. That's why it's a little bit harder to pass. Like if you're going to go for it. Better hold on to it because if you get off track, you're already going, you know, pretty significant and you're just gonna lose it. you we've seen some lucky plays happen. Like I think it was last year when Pillow and Lundguard kinda got tossed together and Pelow almost was it McLaughlin? Okay, so who whoever like he got off track. @Indy_bet: Yeah. no, no, you're right. I'm sorry. Pillow and Lungard and yeah, Pillow went off and had to go in the grass and come back. f1capper: S well, it happened it happened everywhere across the board. But yeah, like that will again, it's a momentum track. So if you go off track, you're gonna you're gonna give up sp positions that way as well too. So that's that's why it's kinda hard and tricky. and then yeah, so I think and then going back to what you were talking about with not Penske, Andretti. Yep, iN8Rodgers: Injured you. f1capper: Andretti I don't know. My hypothesis on this, take it with a grain of salt. All you want is they're just not as built for t these types of like setups when it comes to this type of characteristic of a of a track. They seem to like the straights, they like that hard breaking. That's how and then of course streets street courses too, but this has got the long sweeping turns and everything. So we'll see. I mean, they seem to do okay. I think they did all right. Was it Barber or Mid Ohio? The one of them same similar characteristics, right? With the sweeping turns, although mid Ohio has more elevation. and same with Barber, but we'll see how they perform here. but yeah, those are just some quick hits. But let's get into the odds. There are some odds out there. We were briefly chatting about who we liked, so I'll just bring it out. We talked about Malukas. So I'll give it to one of you guys to to bring it up first. @Indy_bet: Yeah, so he was the first bet on my radar. I was really happy to see him listed at eight to one. So he's one, two, three, fourth on the board. Him and Paddo are both eight to one, which which I do like Pato's number as well. More his top three. But yeah, I'm gonna be definitely putting half a unit on Malucas at eight to one, half a unit on Melucas top three. Malucas was fast at this track the last two years in you know quote unquote not not as good of a car, not as good of a team, not as good as of of everything across the board. and and also the car that was really good here the last couple years probably should or won the race last year was the car he's in now. So the twelve car power won the race last year. Malucas sits in that seat. this just tracks like I think he he's got a knack for these the this course and I think he's gonna be sitting in that Penske car. So yeah, I'm all in on Malucas. I think eight to one's a fair number for him and a good number to get prequals. I would expect him to call pretty well and yeah, it all lines up pretty nicely for for Mr David to keep going. I really like the top three road courses as we've seen. It's been the Lungard and Peloshow all year long. so, you know, Malucas sneaks into that third spot. That's why I'll split the bet. But I wouldn't be surprised to see those three finish in some order in any order in the podium. iN8Rodgers: Yeah, just f1capper: Yeah. iN8Rodgers: to just throw some stats on top of that, like you said Malucas qualified fourth last year and power actually won the last two years, the and then the year before that, as far as some Penskey support behind that, McLaughlin was on pole and the year before that McLaughlin won the race, so pretty strong showing from Penske overall. And lastly, Malucas is the only driver this year in in all four road courses to make it to the fast six, so not even Pelow or Lungard has done that. and Lucas is the the only driver to show that consistency where you can trust him to make a pre qualifying bet like like Mike did to to trust that he's gonna put that car in the first row or the second row and see where he goes from there. f1capper: Yeah, I mean I have nothing much to say. You guys said it all. I mean, my mind was immediately Lungard, Pelow, and Malucas. Where are they? Where are their odds? I did not like obviously Pelow, we know where they're gonna he's gonna be. Lungard, he's been shaved in half here recently, of course, but there are some four to ones. I think that's fair. Do I wanna take it? I'm still not sure. I want to do that and We'll talk about that in a second. But Malucas 8-1 has piqued my interest. Do I want to do it? That's that's the thing. Do I go the indie bet card route where we're just gonna go some of these? Cause I don't know what I'm gonna get in terms of head-to-head, even though we will talk about head-to-head. So the only other one, other driver outside of those that I could consider that I wanted to bring up. Actually more of a top three than it is a outright was Felix Rosenquist. I mean, they have looked a little bit better, although it is Felix. I'm not sure. Like I still am on the fence on him at times. I feel like he can he can drive a hell of a drive in one race and then something happens. You know, strategy just screws him. Something happens. So what do we think about that? Fourteen to one. iN8Rodgers: He he qualified second last year and he does have two second place finishes here. It's been a while. He hasn't done that with Meyer Shank but I think his racecraft is better than it was in those years that he has finished second here. like you said, it can be a little bit of a hit or miss with him. when he when he's on he's he's really good. It's it's hard to know exactly when he's gonna be there. But at those odds, you you know, you're not spending too much to to take a chance on him, so I don't mind it. @Indy_bet: He's a he's a cash out special for me. If your book's got cash out, take if you're gonna bet, let's just easy 20 bucks on him, put 10, put 10 on one bet at 14 to 1, put 10 on another bet at 14 to 1. Then when he qualifies first or second, you cash out your ten dollars, which actually will probably cash you out at like 15 to 20 bucks. It won't be a great number, but whatever. Make five bucks profit and then let the other ten ride on your fourteen to one. so split it, cash it. take your winning because you're probably not gonna cash the win bet, but you can you can make your make a little money back or at least you know not lose as much and let it ride. I think that's the way I handle Felix. I do like Felix on the Calchi, Coinbase, whatever the secondary markets, if you find him top ten, and you can find him probably above even money to top ten, maybe or close to it, since he's listed at fourteen. So if that pops up, that was a great bet. Whatever the la however many weeks the last race ago was was Rosenquist just kind of you know qualifies high and then this is a course where you're not gonna lose you know as long as there's not some crazy yellow that hangs people out or or a crash you're not gonna fall back too much like Nate said the winners you know the qualify well you're gonna stay up front short track so I I like the Rosenquist top ten if you can have access to that f1capper: Yeah, I might have a just my mind is thinking this is going to get wild. I think that, you know, we've seen it this year. It's bit it's gotten a little feisty with some of the the top ten drivers here. And I think we are gonna see some chaos and I believe this is one of those tracks like r right when when you get a yellow, that's it, like it's gonna s keep breeding it. You're gonna jumble that pack and they're all gonna try especially turn one, right? They're all going to That turn actually turn two more than turn one. Turn two is just gonna be a mess. It's going to be a mess. So I feel like we're going to see something that is going to impact in some way, form, or fashion in on a restart. So and also this track just I don't know what it is. If it's like track temps, I don't know what the temps are going to be. But it changes it changed from like one day to the next and traction was pretty. Becoming an issue for a lot of these drivers. So it's going to be I mean, we saw Ferrucci just lose it, just getting out of the last turn and into the wall. So I think we're gonna still see that. So it's gonna be a volatile type race. I know it sounds like we st we say that every time, but it it should it feels like it should be straightforward, but it may not be. So but I do not have that @Indy_bet: There will be f1capper: cash out option, by the way. So I'm gonna have to raw dog it if I do it. So @Indy_bet: Yeah, that I don't know. Then I might I might advise against the Felix win f1capper: Yeah. @Indy_bet: bet. maybe top five if you if you see that or or Mac. f1capper: Well Cal She hasn't posted anything yet. That's why I've been waiting. That's why I haven't done the Malucas eight to one too, because I would actually rather grab it on Cal she than I would on like Bet US or or anywhere else, since I don't have DK access or Bet three sixty five. So that's what I'm still kinda waiting for. I'm assuming we should start seeing those odds pop. It is Tuesday, so we should start seeing them, I believe, tomorrow. So I Do you want to get maybe some of that eight to one and just, you know, just do like twenty bucks on that and just let's hope and pray. But I do want to get some Lundguard. And we talked about that. Usually qualifying is hasn't been their strength this year. He might do it, he might not, but he is usually locked in at this track, and we've seen it. This is this is his style of a track. I mean, it's it's come mid Ohio and at Barber. And here we go again. We have these long sweeping corners, and this is what this where he shines at this type of track. So I can't wait to attack on that. iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I think on these road courses there's there's two strategies. You bet Polo and that's all you have room for really or you kinda stack a few guys together like you guys talked about Melukas, Lungard, someone else in there but so so this week I I've actually do the opposite of what I've normally done. I I took Pilow, I did a a unit and a quarter on on Polo. I'm definitely gonna target like Malucas and Lungard maybe more in the top threes. There are there's a lot of reasons to like them, but so I went the Pilot route. the time, just a little bit opposite and he I I don't think he's he's been in the fast six every time he's qualified here, four or five years, two wins and I think he's put on poll once or twice. So really with any of those guys we discussed so far it's just like a good good path to start on I think. @Indy_bet: Yeah, look, he terrifies me as always. And you gotta remember that last year he pretty much had the title wrapped, right? So he was like all he had to do was just not finish last in the last couple of races and and this was one like you know, he he he got a little dicey with Lungard at the end there. But like he was being super careful most of the time. And I would expect like he you can almost tell he was just driving to make sure he he brought the car home. he wasn't gonna do anything crazy or push the issue. So this is a little different this year. I mean it's it's all but locked as well, sorta kinda, but not like it was last year. I mean I think he's minus eight hundred in the in the championship market. so you know, he may just be like, you know, he may he may he may wanna lock it up by just driving away in this race. and yeah, he's he's always that's why you always kinda watch the top threes, but like yeah, look, I might get even more scared if we see practice one and he comes out and he's half a second quicker than everybody else, then you know that that spells doom. so keep gotta pay attention and and watch it and see and then might have to shift more towards the top three, top five, top ten markets. iN8Rodgers: It's kinda wild he's only won one of the four road courses so far this year, which you know, McLaren's taken the other three, so where you would expect him to almost sweep road courses in a year. Pillow's actually been a little quieter. So I think he's I'm gonna say he's due, I guess. @Indy_bet: It's got second in podiums in all but one of those, right? If I recall. Right. So iN8Rodgers: Yeah. Yeah, I believe, yeah, pretty much. f1capper: Yeah, we'll see what happens. So yeah, we got some other bets. I know I did take a look at gr bet three sixty five head to head, which you actually have some other head to head. So R Nate, what what do you have? And then we can talk about those head to heads. iN8Rodgers: Yeah, as far as the play I took was Rosenquist over Erickson. that's moved quite a bit at three six five. I I don't that's pretty juicy, but that's another place where maybe you parlay with that with something if you like Rosenquist instead of maybe going like if you can't find the top ten or something that we talked about. and then I could pull up the score, which I took Malucas over Kirkwood. We've already talked about why you like Malucas. and I'm kinda betting on or making Andretti prove that they could you know be be a little faster here 'cause Kirkwood doesn't have super impressive stats here. the other lines or matchups they have they unfortunately they are kinda similar to Bet 365. you got Pelow and Lungard, which I mean getting Lungard at plus one sixty is is kind of I mean that's it's versus Pelow, but it's it's a lot. yeah. f1capper: Yeah, yeah, it's it's it's still there. I think that yeah, I was there with you even at plus one fifty, so it's at plus one sixty now. I'm like, man, you know, it's the time to start looking at iN8Rodgers: here's another place you can take Felix at minus one fifteen versus Ray Hall equal at minus one fifteen. Ray Hall's probably been a little better than Erickson on the road courses, so I'd say that's a little bit of a tougher matchup, but I still don't mind it. and then you have the Newgard and McLaughlin matchup, which is McLaughlin minus one thirty. I think that's also on bed three six five. So I would lean McLaughlin there. I wish the the odds were a little more even and I would I take I I still might take it actually. I think I don't McLaughlin's struggled so much but his his history's pretty good here. I do think he's kinda getting there as the season goes on. It's been rough, it's been quiet, but it's been getting a little better I think. f1capper: Yeah, I like that Malucas. I'm actually trying to phone that one in. And the other that I I just like is and I'd not want to usually back this guy is Ferrucci over Rasmussen. I think he's on Bet 365. I know he had that crash last year, but it is it's a little bit more about fading Rasmussen here than it is Furucci, even though Ferrucci's actually had pretty good success at this stream. at this track. So I think when you're getting it a minus one fifteen, I'm checking right now to make sure it hasn't moved. yeah, it's still at minus one fifteen. I I actually I kind of gravitating to that. So what do you guys think? iN8Rodgers: those I mean just those ECR cars cannot stay on the track. They I mean they've they've broken down yeah, I mean it's f1capper: Yeah. And it's Rasmussen. iN8Rodgers: they've got what, like maybe twelve DNFs this year and and most of them are just like failures and stuff, like it's it's insane. So yeah, I get it. @Indy_bet: Yeah, I lean I lean Ferrucci, I don't know if that one's probably a pass. I love that Rosenchrist over Ray Hall at minus one fifteen. That sounds nice. I will say I just a little quick McLaughlin talk. he did cross my radar. he was actually on my cap ranked third ahead of Malukas, behind Longard and Pelot. I just I guess my eyes just jumped over him straight to Malucas, but his number's a lot bigger. And look, I I honestly think McLaughlin's problem this year is I if you remember, remember he he he dive bombed into the fence, mate so he made that mistake in practice. And I believe it was either week before or week after, made another mistake in practice and crashed the car. Crashed in qualifying. So I feel like I think he I think it's in his head. I think he is I think he's just been hesitant to be like, sh Shoot, I can't crash this car in practice or qualifying again, which has led to poor qualifying efforts, which then just puts him way behind the eight-ball in the race. And he's tried some strategy things that haven't worked and some other stuff. And he's moved up to the field a couple of times. I just think like maybe this break was what he needed to kind of just reset himself, or maybe he needs somebody to just tell him, like, dude, you need to go back. Cause he was he was doing r he started off the season really hot. And then when he I think going through that die bobbing through that fence kind of freaked him out and I think he also just s w thought to himself, like, hey, I can't be crashing this car before the race. and then I think that's like look, the the margins are so slim, you're not you know, you break just it's tenths of a second and I think he just lost his edge, I guess is the best way I can put it. So I think maybe this long break maybe is a chance for him to kinda get his edge back. but I don't think it's a car thing. I think it's a driver head thing with him. That's just my iN8Rodgers: 'Cause I mean if you look f1capper: Yeah. iN8Rodgers: he's qualifying eighth or like thirteenth, fourteenth, so like you said, it's just a tenth. It's one corner where maybe he used to be a little more aggressive and now he's just hesitant of trying to keep the car clean or he's got it in the back of his mind of all those qualifying and practice wrecks. f1capper: Yeah, I don't I don't know. I think it's it yes, but I also think it's just the lack of Penske being able to to be able to push against those top teams because those top teams have just overtaken Penske, especially going back to last year. So that that also kinda ties maybe into the confidence as well. It's like he just doesn't have the team in that car just are not confident at all. And it just seems weird because you like There's times where like, hey, Scott looks good, but then he just starts falling back or something happens with his pitch strategy. And it's hard to trust him, but when you're looking at a matchup like with him against Joseph Newgarden, it is tempting for me to want to take him, but not at minus 130. I just can't do it. I I don't I don't see enough consistency to want to back anything with Scott. and then he has some some unlucky plays too. @Indy_bet: Just throw it I'm just throw throwing it out there. It's three to one, three to one top three, eighteen to one. That's the I think that's a high water mark. And the guy I know the guy can win, but if if I if if f1capper: I I I hear you. I hear you. I hear you. And I'm like, I s I looked at that number. I just I just can't do it. @Indy_bet: I don't know if his number would fall if he put it, you know, if he was top three in the first practice, maybe a little bit. But like, man, I just think it's mental. I don't think it's the car. I think it's I think he's just lost a little bit of his edge to chase that extra tenth that he was getting before. And he's look, he's got good history at this track. He's comfortable here. He's raced well here. that's why he popped in in my model. So normally that would probably be a bet. And but I'm obviously I'm hesitant. I might, you know, rather put the extra half a unit on Malucas's top three or Lungard at four to one. It's kind of probably the decision they'll come down to is the Malucas money is done Or tied up for sure. is it, you know, more on on Lungard four to one or do I back off and maybe poke around with McLaughlin before prequalls and see see if I can score a a big number and we'll see. f1capper: Me, it's gonna be who what have you done for me lately, especially at road courses? And I just can't look any other way right now because we are three-fourths away through the season and we haven't seen anything from it. 18 to 1 is nice. Like, listen, if you've been having a great year and you're just you know, go for it. You're at the tail end. Like, this is this is the time. If you want to have some fun, I would not break the bank. The value is there in terms of how how his odds are, but I think it also. At eighteen to one that is, but like maybe it should be fourteen to one, like closer to Felix or something like that. So you're getting a little bit of value when you when you're talking about it. But when for me, it's like I I think for me I'm trying to really still snipe and and get the right plays because I want to try to hit And for me, it's gonna be a little bit of a different style, and I just don't want to back it. I want to back the guys that have actually shown me stuff here recently, which is again Alex Pelow. Can't say no to that. Lungard and and Malucas, those guys just are constantly showing up every week, week in, week out. Maybe not Lungard on the ovals, but you know, everything everywhere else he's been just superb. Like, and especially at a track like this where he likes this type of track. It's a characteristic thing for him and he has the utmost confidence. So Penske overall. Like I can't trust New New Garden. He might come out and he might be healthier. He's had the time off. Maybe I don't know. Is he off his crutches? Is he finally getting better? Maybe this is where he actually shines and he actually gets into the top five and he actually shows it. But I still won't do it. I still won't do it with that just that's with him just being the way he has been for more than a year actually at this point. And then Scott McLaughlin. I mean, he just hasn't shown anything to give me that confidence to wanna back him. So that's just kind of where my head's at. As I'm saying that I'm the one that's sitting here shilling Ferrucci over Rasmussen, but iN8Rodgers: Mm-hmm. f1capper: I'm just picking the the garbage out of the the can here. So @Indy_bet: Rather would you rather throw twin ten, twenty bucks on Ferrucci or or have it at eighteen to one on McLaughlin for FOMO? f1capper: No, no, no. For me, I I love the variable that I only have one thing to worry about in that matchup and where my money is at. And that's why I I crave matchups more than anything. I do this in F1. I do this in, you know, in NASCAR. To me, there's so many different ways that Your driver can do so well and race so well, but doesn't end up in the top three, doesn't end up in the top five. The numbers are lucrative and they're lucrative for a reason. They're trying to get you to get into that, you know, 10 to 1, 14 to one, whatever it is. But in this situation where give me the driver that I know I have a little bit more confidence in against just one other driver, and that's all you have to worry about. I I that's that's where I want to always try to back my money. And that's why I love playing matchups. @Indy_bet: I miss the bovada days where we would get, you know, like twenty different matchups. But unfortunately, f1capper: yeah. @Indy_bet: like, you know, we we cry like, look, we we can we always belly ache about it and it sucks 'cause yeah, if you wanna make money and you wanna like do well, it's all it you need to bet matchups. That's that's how you do it. It's not but yeah. But most of us like the books just f1capper: Yeah, and that's that's how I got into to a lot of the indie car betting. @Indy_bet: I mean, I know here I in my books I don't have I wish we had that sort of access on the prediction markets or maybe in the future it'll f1capper: Yeah, no, and that and @Indy_bet: be back. f1capper: yeah, that's that's exactly why like there was a time when we were getting so many like we didn't even get a lot of props. It was just top three, top outrights, top threes, and then you'd get a bunch of matchups and I mean I'd go into a Sunday and I would have like five or six different matchups. Sometimes I wouldn't even have an outright, and that's just the way I love playing it. I do the same thing with F one, right? Like Lot of it has been, yeah, there's gonna be top three top prop bets that I have, but come race day, I am scouring like thirty different types of race matchups and that's my heaven is like and it's across like multiple books to offshores and it's just unfortunate we don't get that opportunity right now with IndyCar. Maybe one day, @Indy_bet: Very. f1capper: I keep saying that, but iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I think I might have to take a little bit of the blame for bet online not having matchups anymore, 'cause it was a Portland la race a a few years ago. I I think I went eight for eight or nine for nine on matchups and I don't think they've posted them ever since. But I was gonna throw in a little plug of like reason five hundred why you should be in the Discord, but I I was fully ready to not take Scott McLaughlin until we found some of us in the in the Discord got a thirty to one on him, which at that point I had to. I'm also rocking the Acura Hap because I found Marcus Armstrong at 150 to 1. so that's kind of my hope and a prayer this weekend for for Armstrong to to pull that out for me. So getting that rolling. f1capper: That's that's just beautiful. Like that, okay. You're getting I d I do that a lot too. When you're seeing a hundred to one odds and you're like, Okay, well it it needs to be fifty to one, seventy to one or something like that. You put a dollar, okay, that's fine, like whatever. But yeah, I'm I'm kinda rooting for you on that one. Just a you never know, but it also is priced high for for a reason. So @Indy_bet: Be iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @Indy_bet: careful, PSA. iN8Rodgers: I mean what you w @Indy_bet: don't bet the championship at your book by accident because McLaughlin's sitting thirty to one and the championship odds. he's not winning f1capper: yeah, that's right. Yeah. iN8Rodgers: I've done that before, yeah. Yeah. @Indy_bet: the championship. And like f1capper: No. @Indy_bet: I s also p since we're talking about it, like be careful on Cal Sheet and others. A lot of people have the DC race up. Don't start betting. I almost accidentally bet a top ten what I thought was for this race, but I looked I quickly looked up and it was for the Washington D C race. So make sure you pay attention to what you are betting. iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I've seen people on Calchi where they're they could you can comment at the bottom and it's on the championship odds and they're like, When does this race end? Like thinking they should have been paid out already, so I think they have some bad bets made there that they're like @Indy_bet: If you go to the people we need to take their money. That's who we need to be giving. f1capper: That's that's when you that that's when you throw in you throw in the plug like, Hey, you probably need Apex Insider's Discord. So iN8Rodgers: I've thought about that, yeah. @Indy_bet: Wait. f1capper: you know, I I wanna bring up Grid Rival, but I I'm I'm struggling here because they made some changes and I I don't wanna get into the changes, but I ca I can't even load anything up after doing everything that it was instructed that you should be doing to get the picks. I don't know if you guys have messed with it recently or anything. iN8Rodgers: I haven't heard. I just thought they weren't up yet, so I don't @Indy_bet: Your f1capper: No, @Indy_bet: grid rival account is being hit. Yeah. Yeah, f1capper: they they've they made a change, so @Indy_bet: I just man, this looks like this is gonna be a pain in the butt. f1capper: It it it looks like it because I don't know how this is supposed to work. I will be throwing a message to my guy being like, What are we supposed to do now? Like I did everything you told me to do and transferred my funds to this bankroll app. I have a feeling that bankroll the bankroll app is going to be where you play Grid Rival for the Pick'ems at least. But I don't have anything. I can't see anything at all. and I don't know if I mentioned this to you guys, but I have been officially limited on prize picks, so I can't even do anything on there. well I mean I can, but it's like I'm limited to twenty five dollars a day. or a a f one or indicar session, which means I'm only allowed five dollars per card. So Kinda sucks. I'm done. Price picks is is now dead for me, along with underdog. We only have grid rival to hang on. And this is what I get. It's this crazy crap that I'm like, are you kidding me? Like, I wanted to because the the biggest number I was like in my head was Rasmussen. What is it? Is it gonna be 13 and a half? Is it gonna be 12 and a half? Is it gonna be 14 and a half? Because if it's 12 and a half. Or or lower, I'm going wars. If it's anywhere above that I may reconsider, but I even still might want to take him worse. I think that he doesn't finish in the top fifteen. That's my that's my prediction. So iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I d what what is Grosjon at? f1capper: Yeah, I mean he's gotta be he's gotta be at like seventeen and a half. Let's just put it there, maybe I'm afraid to touch him though. Here. iN8Rodgers: Yeah. Because But this is this has always been my fade grow I mean he's finished twenty seventh, twenty-seventh, nineteenth, and twenty second and he has said in interviews that he hates this track. Dale Coin's kinda been a mess. And so whenever I can find these lines that'll be where my eyes go first. f1capper: I just I just have a feeling they're gonna put him at a number where I'm like even just DNFs might just get him there. iN8Rodgers: Yeah. f1capper: But with that being said, you gotta fade Groja this Grojon fades are our favorite, so but I I'm gonna I'm gonna assume he's like 17 and a half, eighteen and a half. But yeah, I don't know. I don't have anything for Grid Rival other than like I'm just gonna be winging it. I at least kind of remember where the positioning can be. Ferrucci again, if he's anywhere in the 13 and a half, I don't know if he will be. I would take him better. I think r Ray Hall, just any RLL, I'm very interested in not sure if I want it, I would probably fade Foster. I do want to see it first, but Ray Hall, I would like to see where his numbers at because he's the one that's been like, Hey, we're gonna throw him at ten and a half and then I'll gotta take him worse. But if they put him anywhere in that like fourteen and a half, fifteen, sixteen, I'm gonna probably take him better. iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I mean Foster is like taking a step back this year, I think. I just have not really been impressed with him. Every time I try to back him, he's just ha I I think he's in jeopardy of losing his seat to Schumacher for as bad as Schumacher's year's gone since that third seat's going away. So yeah, any more I think I'm looking to fade Foster. in a place where my I might even take Ray Hall. I would probably look to Fade Foster. f1capper: Yep. I'm with you there. And I think your your theory about him losing his seat is absolutely there, especially to see like how Schumacher has gotten better at Oval, so he can do both. it sounds like he would be more likely to back and maybe he has sponsorship too that he can bring that Foster can't. So bigger name. So I don't have anything else. Did we miss anything? Any other markets? Any other iN8Rodgers: No, there's a couple of groups f1capper: Around there. iN8Rodgers: out there which I know you love, but yeah, I w I went with Rosenquist in that. and then I end up adding Ray Hall once the numbers move. So I've got kind of the double up Indy Bet special on the the group. I think those are out on Caesars and Bet Three Six Five and BetUS. that you can get those. And the first one's kind of just a b a bunch of really good drivers. It's hard to you Malucas, Kirkwood, people like that. but then the other one was Ray Hall, Rosenquist, Rossi and Newgarden, with Newgarden being the heavy favorite, gave some decent numbers to Rosenquist and Ray Hall. f1capper: Yeah, I'm gonna wait on the groups, see what let's see what happens @Indy_bet: So f1capper: and practice qualifying before I decide. I'd rather get something a little bit more juicy than like the three to ones if I'm gonna roll any kind of any kind of group, which contrary to belief, I've actually been chilling some some groups, the F one and maybe not so much Indy, and it's been working. It's been working. So Maxwell, if you're listening, you should be proud of me. iN8Rodgers: Well and they've been leaving those groups up this year where the practice you know, someone will wreck and practice another person will look really good and it kinda clears up your your thought process there of where you go and that's been a good place. @Indy_bet: That's where you make f1capper: Yeah, like @Indy_bet: money in the groups. That's for sure. I've scalp you look to scalp those for su I've that that's where I've had my best luck and my most my biggest wins there is when something happens or and they don't they don't f1capper: Yeah. @Indy_bet: they don't they forget to move the lines. f1capper: And they keep it pretty tight on the groups with Indy, like they put the the guys that are gonna be closer together and then that's why they keep the numbers pretty tight. And like F one f were getting some ridiculous numbers on like the fourth guy in this last race. They had like a twenty to one on Max Verstappen. I like, Okay, now you're getting crazy here, like against like Piastri and some of these like Piastri was the best out of that group, and you're like, You've gotta take the twenty to one. So now I'm a little spoiled. seeing how that has happened in F one and I'm like, can I get something like that in, you know, an eight to one or nine to one where there's actually a legit chance, but we'll see. I'm gonna I'm gonna be patient before I again I'm gonna try to snipe. So All right, well any last thoughts before we conclude here? iN8Rodgers: Bring it home Armstrong. That's what I got. f1capper: Yeah. @Indy_bet: The Lucas. f1capper: Malucas, all right. Well I'm I'm hoping I'm hoping we get some some interesting qualifying and we can get some juicier numbers 'cause I believe there's gonna be a shake up and we're gonna get an opportunity. Especially on Calci. So be on the lookout, get on the Discord, live chatting throughout the week, throughout through the weekend. So you know where we'll be. get the live action there. So we'll see you guys on Friday. @Indy_bet: Right.
