- 2:16Speaker 1: have to ask you, Patress, what was your takeaway after
- 2:21Speaker 1: watching the third installment of the one on ones.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I just can't believe we're talking about the luggage wreck again.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I mean, how many times do we have to like,
- 2:31Speaker 3: go over it? We get it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's a symbol of the marriages.
- 2:34Speaker 3: We understand. Yes, And my other takeaway is that I'm guy,
- 2:38Speaker 3: we're finally talking about finances and like intimacy a little
- 2:42Speaker 3: bit sort of. I mean, yeah, but like we're getting
- 2:45Speaker 3: some like little tidbits here and there, like Mary with
- 2:48Speaker 3: her accountant and stuff like that. I think that's interesting.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, but it's so surface level so as
- 2:55Speaker 1: to simply piss me off because it's not substantive enough.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And I want to know more and they know that
- 3:00Speaker 1: I want to know more and they're not giving me more.
- 3:03Speaker 1: But it is the Brown so yeah, and it's TLC
- 3:06Speaker 1: and it's Puddle Monkey the production House. Yeah. Now, my
- 3:09Speaker 1: main takeaway was that, like I feel as if I'm
- 3:13Speaker 1: on a roller coaster with Mary Brown. Like sometimes I'm like, yes, Mary, yes, queen,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you're almost there, You're worthy of Yeah, And then the
- 3:24Speaker 1: very next week she's throwing the women under the bus again,
- 3:27Speaker 1: or she's bitter, or she's being a little judgy or petty.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And in this episode, in this time Nothing, I thought
- 3:34Speaker 1: she was doing a lot of that, oh for sure.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And she was talking about Christine, talking about Cody or
- 3:40Speaker 1: the luggage rack. She seemed to think that that was
- 3:43Speaker 1: super petty and people shouldn't be comparing and she was
- 3:46Speaker 1: very judging, and I'm like, but Mary, this is a
- 3:49Speaker 1: show right about y'all, right, and you're gonna be asking
- 3:52Speaker 1: or getting fielding questions about y'all. I agree, Cody's the patriarch,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and Cody's the problem is the malignancy, and so of
- 4:01Speaker 1: course Christine is going to speak on it. So it
- 4:03Speaker 1: just felt like she's not a girl's girl. She's still
- 4:07Speaker 1: trying to defend Cody for some reason. She looks stupid.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm embarrassed a little bit, Like you called her pathetic
- 4:15Speaker 1: a few weeks ago, and like she really does sometimes
- 4:18Speaker 1: come off as pathetic, Like why are you still being
- 4:21Speaker 1: so diplomatic with these a holes? I don't deserve it.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I just don't get it, Like you can not like Christine,
- 4:29Speaker 3: or you cannot like have a relationship with Christina or
- 4:31Speaker 3: Janelle but still understand like their perspectives about something like
- 4:36Speaker 3: the luggage rack or whatever. Like I just didn't understand
- 4:38Speaker 3: why she's like quick complaining, stop complaining. I'm like, you're rude, dude.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yeah, And at least they're doing it with their own mouths,
- 4:47Speaker 1: whereas you need your rando friends to get in front
- 4:50Speaker 1: of cameras to do to the complaining that you actually
- 4:53Speaker 1: want to do, but don't have the guts to do,
- 4:55Speaker 1: And it really pissed me off when at the top
- 4:58Speaker 1: of this episode, she's like, well, I don't know who
- 5:01Speaker 1: to trust, Like should I trust Cody and Robin? They're
- 5:05Speaker 1: telling me that Janelle is the one who does the money,
- 5:08Speaker 1: or should I trust Janelle? Because she's saying that it's
- 5:11Speaker 1: Cody and Robin. I'm like, Mary Brown, do you have
- 5:13Speaker 1: eyeballs either head or what? Have you gone over to
- 5:16Speaker 1: their house and seeing the phoenix rising from the ashes?
- 5:19Speaker 1: Have you seen all the artwork? Did you see the
- 5:22Speaker 1: American girl dolls? Did you see the amethyst crystal wing? Like,
- 5:26Speaker 1: come on, Mary.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's like, how many examples do you need to finally
- 5:32Speaker 3: get that Cody and Robin are terrible people, Like she
- 5:35Speaker 3: just still thinks that they like have good intentions sometimes.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I know, and I don't understand it. And I was
- 5:41Speaker 1: thinking that maybe it was because at the time that
- 5:44Speaker 1: this was being filmed, Coyote Pass was still unresolved, So
- 5:49Speaker 1: maybe she's thinking, oh, I should err on the side
- 5:51Speaker 1: of just not dragging them to filth me because maybe
- 5:54Speaker 1: he'll make it hard for me to get my money.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm like, what are you
- 5:58Speaker 1: even talking about? You knew that Jane was in an RV, right,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you knew that Janelle didn't have a place, right, Like
- 6:04Speaker 1: you could see the disparity between the two folks, and
- 6:07Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't understand you, and I didn't
- 6:09Speaker 1: like it. I agree, And so that was my takeaway.
- 6:14Speaker 1: All right, So why don't we get into the recap again.
- 6:17Speaker 1: We are in season nineteen. This was episode twenty eight
- 6:22Speaker 1: eight twenty eight, twenty eight of the One on one Yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 1: Part three, Yes, So take it away, Beatrice.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Well, we start off the conversation talking about some juicy stuff.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I think about Coyote Pass, and this leads into like
- 6:38Speaker 3: a bigger conversation about how nobody trusts each other, how
- 6:42Speaker 3: finances were managed and mismanaged throughout the years, and Cody
- 6:47Speaker 3: says some bullshit, Christine says some bullshit. It's actually pretty good.
- 6:52Speaker 3: But we start off with Coyote Pass. Suki asks Mary,
- 6:56Speaker 3: you know what the heck is going on with this
- 6:59Speaker 3: Land's like, well, it's been paid off, but we're still
- 7:02Speaker 3: trying to figure out how to legally divide everything so
- 7:05Speaker 3: everybody gets their fair share. And then we watch a
- 7:08Speaker 3: clip where we have Cody, I think, talking to that
- 7:12Speaker 3: weird Rando realtor on Coyote Pass and talking about how,
- 7:17Speaker 3: you know, legally he doesn't need anybody else's permission to
- 7:21Speaker 3: figure out how to divide everything, but he's trying to
- 7:23Speaker 3: figure it out to be fair because he's such a
- 7:25Speaker 3: nice guy. Yeah, And this kind of pisses off Mary
- 7:29Speaker 3: a little bit, right, but she kind of agrees with
- 7:31Speaker 3: it at the same time because it's Mary, Well.
- 7:33Speaker 1: She has to admit that she was stupid. Yeah, and
- 7:37Speaker 1: irrespective of the fact that she I assume contributed equally
- 7:43Speaker 1: to Coyote Pass, she allowed for her name to be
- 7:46Speaker 1: listed on only one plot along with two other people.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So she ends up only owning thirty three percent of
- 7:54Speaker 1: one plot out of four. So that was stupid yeap
- 7:56Speaker 1: for a grown asque woman. That was stupid for a
- 7:59Speaker 1: business woman who's in the process of worthying up yeap.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And so while she's upset that he says that he
- 8:06Speaker 1: doesn't need permission, she has to admit that he's right
- 8:10Speaker 1: because she allowed it to happen.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Yep. And this gets into the conversation about how they
- 8:14Speaker 3: just don't trust each other because Cody says that the
- 8:19Speaker 3: other wives don't trust him because they want to get
- 8:21Speaker 3: alimony and they're pissed off that they can't get alimony. Yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 3: and that's his justification for why Janelle and Mary feel
- 8:27Speaker 3: the way that they do. Well, they just can't get
- 8:29Speaker 3: alimony out of me, that's why they don't trust me.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, so they're trying to get something. And I just
- 8:34Speaker 1: thought to myself, what would have happened after he went
- 8:37Speaker 1: and protested for rights for polygamist families, Like if he
- 8:41Speaker 1: were able to actually marry Janelle, Christine and Mary, they
- 8:47Speaker 1: would have been entitled to some alimony and even child support,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and he would have been made to pay under the
- 8:54Speaker 1: laws that he would have wanted to create. But now
- 8:57Speaker 1: that they're gone and he's got his McMansion and now
- 9:00Speaker 1: he's got his McMansion number two, he's like, yeah, well,
- 9:02Speaker 1: they're just trying to get something out of me. Well,
- 9:03Speaker 1: of course they are. Of course, she was married to
- 9:05Speaker 1: you for thirty three years. She's entitled to something. This
- 9:08Speaker 1: is the very least of what she is entitled to.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And Mary goes on to say, well, I contributed just
- 9:13Speaker 1: as much, and I wonder if she contributed even more
- 9:16Speaker 1: to this family has anybody else? And she didn't come
- 9:20Speaker 1: right out and say but I didn't receive an equal measure,
- 9:24Speaker 1: but that was kind of the subtext. Oh definitely, And
- 9:27Speaker 1: this is where we get into you know, I even
- 9:28Speaker 1: had to get my accountant and my books and sit
- 9:32Speaker 1: down with Cody and Robin. Yeah, so not just Cody
- 9:35Speaker 1: and show them, Look, this is how much money I've
- 9:37Speaker 1: paid into the family. And they were surprised, and I
- 9:41Speaker 1: guess after that they stopped complaining about it. I really
- 9:45Speaker 1: wish Sukie would have said, well what led to that, though, right,
- 9:49Speaker 1: Like what led you to have to sit down and
- 9:51Speaker 1: show your books? Were they accusing you of something? And
- 9:53Speaker 1: if so, what were they accusing you of? But we
- 9:56Speaker 1: never get into any of that information unfortunately.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I mean Mary kind of alludes to it where she's like,
- 10:02Speaker 3: I think maybe Cody and Robin thought I wasn't contributing
- 10:05Speaker 3: equally and then they were surprised, like she actually says,
- 10:08Speaker 3: they were surprised that she was contributing way more than
- 10:12Speaker 3: they thought to the family plot, which is just interesting
- 10:15Speaker 3: to me because then we get into not just.
- 10:17Speaker 1: The family plot, but like to the family because she
- 10:19Speaker 1: was helping to pay for all of those kids to
- 10:22Speaker 1: go to school. Yeah, I mean the ones that did.
- 10:24Speaker 1: A lot of kids went into the military. But like,
- 10:26Speaker 1: she was contributing to Janelle's kids and Christine's kids, and
- 10:30Speaker 1: I assume Robin's kids. But then she lets us know
- 10:33Speaker 1: once again.
- 10:35Speaker 3: That she had to pay for Leon's college and Leon's
- 10:38Speaker 3: car and everything. But then we have Cody saying that
- 10:41Speaker 3: once the older kids all went off to college and everything,
- 10:44Speaker 3: nobody contributed to the younger kids, which means Robin's kids.
- 10:49Speaker 3: So therefore the whole family has to still pay for
- 10:52Speaker 3: Robin and her children.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So is that why he's stealing all this money so
- 10:56Speaker 1: that he can make them pay for his kids.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I think he's trying to justify it, like because on
- 11:02Speaker 3: its face, objectively, we all know that Cody and Robin
- 11:05Speaker 3: have been stealing money from the family plot allegedly in
- 11:09Speaker 3: our opinion. In our opinion, they have been stealing from
- 11:12Speaker 3: all of these women and stealing from all these other kids.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I mean, look at their mansion allegedly. I mean, yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 3: like their bankroppers allegedly. But you know, Cody, I think,
- 11:22Speaker 3: is trying to spin it like, oh, the other wives
- 11:26Speaker 3: were actually the selfish ones, they only cared about themselves.
- 11:30Speaker 3: They didn't contribute to Robin's house. Like he says something
- 11:33Speaker 3: like the first corporate paycheck that hit their account, Robin
- 11:37Speaker 3: didn't get any of it.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but the family had to pay her debt. Though
- 11:41Speaker 1: the family had to pay for her townhouse. Hello, the
- 11:44Speaker 1: family was probably paying to relocate her though, and they
- 11:47Speaker 1: didn't really have the fluidity to do that. In season one,
- 11:50Speaker 1: Remember when they get to Vegas and they're trying to
- 11:52Speaker 1: get their first rentals in Vegas. It's Janelle, It's like,
- 11:55Speaker 1: I can barely feed my kids. Yep, So this TLC
- 11:58Speaker 1: money isn't that great and we still have to support
- 12:01Speaker 1: this vagabond Robin for real, And that's why you didn't
- 12:04Speaker 1: get the first corporate check. But like, how is that distributed?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Is that the first season's corporate check?
- 12:09Speaker 3: Right?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Is it the first episodes corporate check?
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:12Speaker 1: Like did she then get episode two, three, four, five, six,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and seven, and eight? Like, come on, Cody, I know
- 12:17Speaker 1: he's just trying to spin his obfuscating and he's not.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Telling us the full truth because if the full truth
- 12:23Speaker 3: came out, like it would prove that him and Robin
- 12:27Speaker 3: were stealing everything allegedly, so it's just like so messed up.
- 12:31Speaker 3: And this gets into a greater conversation about money and management,
- 12:34Speaker 3: because again Cody is running with the narrative that it
- 12:37Speaker 3: was Janelle's fault, that Janelle was the one that was
- 12:40Speaker 3: in control of all the mass it's so messed up,
- 12:43Speaker 3: like she was the one that mismanaged everything, and he
- 12:46Speaker 3: says something like, you know, I don't know where money
- 12:49Speaker 3: was going. Money was going to pay off certain things
- 12:52Speaker 3: when I thought it was going to pay off other things.
- 12:54Speaker 3: And again he's just trying to undermine Janelle, which Janelle
- 12:58Speaker 3: talks about. She's like, this is Cody's m O, Like
- 13:01Speaker 3: he knows all of our weaknesses. He knows that for me,
- 13:04Speaker 3: financial security is a big thing. I mean, hello, Taurus,
- 13:08Speaker 3: Like I want to be stable. I want to be
- 13:10Speaker 3: stable my material wealth. And so he's hitting her where
- 13:13Speaker 3: it hurts the most and insinuating that she's dumb and
- 13:17Speaker 3: doesn't know how to manage finances well.
- 13:19Speaker 1: But he's also trying to take the heat off of
- 13:21Speaker 1: his Emily because they're also having conversations where they're saying
- 13:26Speaker 1: that Cody had the discretion to move money around and
- 13:30Speaker 1: give it to a wife if she needed it at
- 13:32Speaker 1: a certain time, and so like he could actually look
- 13:34Speaker 1: at what was in I assume the family LLC and
- 13:37Speaker 1: then allocate funds from there. And here's where, you know,
- 13:41Speaker 1: even though I just ragged on Mary for not necessarily
- 13:46Speaker 1: trusting Janelle over Cody and Robin, like, we do have
- 13:49Speaker 1: to admit though, that at the very least, Janelle was
- 13:52Speaker 1: the bookkeeper.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yep.
- 13:54Speaker 1: She saw the taxes and the preparation for the taxes,
- 13:57Speaker 1: She saw the LLC funds. She knew what was coming in.
- 14:00Speaker 1: We also know that she knew how it was being
- 14:03Speaker 1: moved around, because last season she was the one who said, like,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I see the money, and I see what they're paying for,
- 14:09Speaker 1: and there's no reason we can't be paying off Coyote
- 14:11Speaker 1: Pass right now. So we know that Janelle knows these things,
- 14:15Speaker 1: and yet she never did send up the flare and
- 14:18Speaker 1: let Mary know, Hey, just FYI, this is how much
- 14:22Speaker 1: we get. But this is how much he's using to
- 14:24Speaker 1: pay for his Deckenzian village and for her American girl dolls,
- 14:29Speaker 1: and this is how much is being allocated to the
- 14:31Speaker 1: different wives, and it is unfair. She never told Christine
- 14:33Speaker 1: because Christine tells us that Janelle was very tight lipped,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and so as much as we live Janelle, and I'm
- 14:39Speaker 1: sure it was a burden for her to do the books.
- 14:41Speaker 1: At the same time, you should have been letting everybody
- 14:44Speaker 1: know that there was a problem in the Brown LLC
- 14:48Speaker 1: and that Cody was being unfair. But maybe, and I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: just floating this to you, maybe Janelle was a benefactor
- 14:54Speaker 1: of those funds, maybe because Cody had discretion to give
- 14:59Speaker 1: a wife a little bit more. Maybe she got a
- 15:01Speaker 1: little bit more than Mary did, and she knew it,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and even more than Christine did, and she knew it,
- 15:06Speaker 1: and so that's why she didn't say anything. What do
- 15:09Speaker 1: you think about that?
- 15:10Speaker 3: Maybe, I mean, I could see that as a possibility.
- 15:12Speaker 3: But like Mary talks about how she got in trouble
- 15:15Speaker 3: for talking about like how things were being allocated, and
- 15:19Speaker 3: like got in trouble for talking about how Coyote Pass
- 15:23Speaker 3: was divided, and I think Janelle talks about it too,
- 15:26Speaker 3: Like she got in trouble for talking about like where
- 15:29Speaker 3: things were going, or commenting about how much money Cody
- 15:33Speaker 3: and Robin were spending. So maybe that's why she's so
- 15:35Speaker 3: tight lipped. Maybe that's why she didn't tell the og
- 15:37Speaker 3: wives because she was gonna get in trouble.
- 15:39Speaker 1: But don't you think she had a duty to don't
- 15:41Speaker 1: you think as the record keeper and the bookkeeper and
- 15:44Speaker 1: Cody is implying she had more of a hand, and
- 15:46Speaker 1: they're like how they creatively handled money? Like yeah, but
- 15:48Speaker 1: I think, don't you think she had a duty to
- 15:51Speaker 1: tell the other wives? Maybe not Robin, but Mary and
- 15:53Speaker 1: Christine I kind of do.
- 15:56Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, like morally, I think you had a duty.
- 15:59Speaker 3: I would have said that, Like if I was a
- 16:01Speaker 3: part of this family, I would have been like, Yo,
- 16:02Speaker 3: this is what's happened.
- 16:03Speaker 1: She told me, Yeah, like this day, were funneling all
- 16:06Speaker 1: this money out of the LLC.
- 16:08Speaker 3: That's what I would have done. I would have done
- 16:09Speaker 3: that this second. I saw that stuff happening when Robin
- 16:12Speaker 3: came into the picture. But at the same time, like
- 16:14Speaker 3: I think in the earlier seasons, Janelle was like a
- 16:17Speaker 3: totally different person. She was so much more subdued and
- 16:20Speaker 3: like more in secure. I would argue about like maybe
- 16:24Speaker 3: her place in the family or like maybe her own
- 16:26Speaker 3: finances and stuff, and she was just worried about like
- 16:29Speaker 3: I've got a work. I mean back in like season one,
- 16:31Speaker 3: season two, Sea said three, She's the only one with
- 16:34Speaker 3: like an external paycheck. Everybody else is dependent on TLC.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Like Cody was in sales but then he quit it for.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Tal right, he was selling signs Honey and Cody wyoming,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and Robin was racking up all that Victoria's secret dead, right,
- 16:49Speaker 1: So like nobody was doing anything.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I mean, I don't want to shit on like Christine
- 16:52Speaker 3: or Mary. I think Mary was like doing.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Something hard time job.
- 16:56Speaker 3: She liked to work with kids, Yeah, but like why
- 16:59Speaker 3: didn't you have a full time sorry? Right, But Christine
- 17:02Speaker 3: was like mothering all of the children, so that full
- 17:04Speaker 3: time job in and of itself. So like Janelle was
- 17:07Speaker 3: the only one with all of that on her shoulders.
- 17:09Speaker 3: So I want to give her that credit. But I
- 17:11Speaker 3: could see your theory.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Too well, And I'm just saying that maybe that's why
- 17:15Speaker 1: Mary has a little bit of a problem, because historically
- 17:18Speaker 1: she knows that Janelle had the information. But then we
- 17:21Speaker 1: cut to Christine, yeah, to ask for her opinion on
- 17:24Speaker 1: what she thinks Cody's going to end up doing with
- 17:27Speaker 1: regard to Coyote Pass, and she's the one who says
- 17:29Speaker 1: what we all are thinking, which is, oh, he's going
- 17:32Speaker 1: to screw them. Oh like he's greedy when it comes
- 17:35Speaker 1: to money. He's never fair and he's not going to
- 17:37Speaker 1: give them their fair share, which made me wonder as
- 17:42Speaker 1: I was watching, like, does Cody see this footage before
- 17:46Speaker 1: we do? Like, is he does he have like any
- 17:49Speaker 1: editorial power with production where he can see what these
- 17:53Speaker 1: other women are saying and maybe get some things to
- 17:55Speaker 1: be cut out. Or what if Cody saw them say
- 18:00Speaker 1: that and then said, Okay, well I better make sure
- 18:03Speaker 1: that I divvy this up fairly because they're calling me
- 18:06Speaker 1: out and Christine is saying I'm not going to because
- 18:08Speaker 1: I'm greedy.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean that would imply that Cody
- 18:11Speaker 3: would have some semblance of self reflection or like a
- 18:14Speaker 3: little bit of a moral compass, because I feel like
- 18:17Speaker 3: he really is as selfish as Christine and Janelle are
- 18:21Speaker 3: saying he is. Because after Christine says that like Janelle
- 18:24Speaker 3: and Mary are gonna get screwed, Janelle says something like,
- 18:27Speaker 3: you know, every time Cody is in a financial deal
- 18:31Speaker 3: or whatever, he always ends up on top. He always
- 18:33Speaker 3: ends up with more. He always is looking out for himself,
- 18:36Speaker 3: and now he's looking out for himself and Robin. So
- 18:39Speaker 3: that's all he cares about, right. I don't think he
- 18:41Speaker 3: gives a shit about Janelle or Mary or Christine at
- 18:45Speaker 3: all except for what they're saying about him because it
- 18:48Speaker 3: hurts his egos.
- 18:48Speaker 1: And the kind of light that will shed on a
- 18:51Speaker 1: current lawsuit that he is in. Because again, Christine at
- 18:55Speaker 1: the time of this filming, has just sued him for
- 18:58Speaker 1: child support. Yes, child support that is retroactive for three years.
- 19:02Speaker 1: This is child support that will take into account however
- 19:05Speaker 1: much money they are siphoning away from that Brown LLC
- 19:09Speaker 1: so that she can take her cut. So, like, he's
- 19:11Speaker 1: mindful that there's already an active lawsuit and he knows
- 19:14Speaker 1: that these women might sue him for coyote pass. And
- 19:17Speaker 1: so I'm just wondering if this ultimately incentivizes him to
- 19:20Speaker 1: do the right thing, even though maybe he didn't want
- 19:23Speaker 1: to do it inside of his heart, his cold dead, demonic,
- 19:26Speaker 1: black heart.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I mean, it should, It should light a fire under
- 19:29Speaker 3: his ass, It should make him do the right thing.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Because he should do that anyway.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Yes, but yeah, I could definitely see that, like him
- 19:37Speaker 3: finally doing the right thing because he sees this and
- 19:39Speaker 3: realizes that he's in deep shit and he needs to
- 19:42Speaker 3: get this office plate because honestly, he does, How are
- 19:45Speaker 3: you gonna pay for that? Mcmanchon if you've got a
- 19:47Speaker 3: bunch of lawyer fees?
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah you know what I mean. Yeah, I'm still wondering
- 19:50Speaker 1: about that, me too. And it's through these conversations about
- 19:54Speaker 1: Cody and being greedy and constantly being out for himself
- 19:58Speaker 1: that we get into Neil's observation around narcissism, and she
- 20:03Speaker 1: calls out Cody's propensity to love bomb and then for
- 20:09Speaker 1: there to be issues and conflict and there's a dip
- 20:12Speaker 1: in the relationship and then he comes back in and
- 20:14Speaker 1: he love bombs, which is indicative of somebody with narcissism,
- 20:18Speaker 1: and so Suki tries to dive a little bit more
- 20:21Speaker 1: deeply into that, and she's like, look, I'm not a psychologist.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm not here to diagnose people, but I'm like, draw
- 20:27Speaker 1: your own conclusions.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah, like I can see the patterns. Yeah, And that
- 20:30Speaker 3: was really great, and I think Christine also echoes this
- 20:32Speaker 3: like he's super selfish, he only takes care of himself.
- 20:35Speaker 3: And then this gets into a conversation about intimacy, which
- 20:39Speaker 3: was really interesting with Christine. This is really sad, but
- 20:43Speaker 3: it was really interesting to hear her speak about it
- 20:45Speaker 3: because we haven't really like talked about it in this
- 20:49Speaker 3: in depth before. But Christine talks about her and Cody's socialoge.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Oh god, which I just Mormon love.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Oh my god, all that's soaking.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Oh God, stop it with their more magical underwear and everything.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 21:10Speaker 3: But apparently, according to Christine, in the beginning of their relationship,
- 21:14Speaker 3: it was fine. It's it was okay, it was man.
- 21:19Speaker 3: She was taken care of, at least according to Christine.
- 21:22Speaker 3: But as the years rolled on, and especially once Cody
- 21:26Speaker 3: married Robin, it really declined. Christine. According to her, when
- 21:31Speaker 3: Cody married Robin, her and Cody were like already pretty
- 21:35Speaker 3: much over, but they were kind of hanging on, you know,
- 21:38Speaker 3: probably for the family and for the kids and stuff
- 21:41Speaker 3: like that. But their sex life got really bad, to
- 21:44Speaker 3: the point where they were only screwing five times a year, yikes.
- 21:47Speaker 3: And they were basically just using each other ew for
- 21:51Speaker 3: a physical need. And then you know, Cody stopped taking
- 21:55Speaker 3: care of her in general, emotionally, financially physical glee, Like,
- 22:01Speaker 3: he stopped altogether. She was completely independent, and then she
- 22:05Speaker 3: talks about. You know, when she left Cody, she was
- 22:09Speaker 3: gonna fook her new man before marriage because she had
- 22:12Speaker 3: to make sure that he was attracted to her sexually valid.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Fair, Yeah. I remember when I was setting out
- 22:19Speaker 1: into my new life. After I graduated high school, I
- 22:24Speaker 1: moved out. I was a missionary. Okay, graduated high school.
- 22:27Speaker 1: I became a missionary. I was with Ywham Youth with Emissions.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I traveled to the South Pacific a day and met
- 22:35Speaker 1: a boy. Started fooling around a little bit with that boy.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It was a complete virgin and everything like that. But
- 22:40Speaker 1: I came back and then I met within a few
- 22:42Speaker 1: months my first husband. And I remember my mom telling me, like,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I will not give you my blessing unless you move
- 22:51Speaker 1: in with him first and have lots of sex. I
- 22:53Speaker 1: do not marry anybody without sampling the d hunting. Make
- 22:57Speaker 1: sure it's good, make sure you like it. Make sure
- 22:59Speaker 1: he takes care of you, because if he doesn't, it
- 23:01Speaker 1: is not worth it. Don't do it, wow, doubt And
- 23:04Speaker 1: so I made sure that I did. I absolutely, Oh
- 23:09Speaker 1: my god, you cannot say that, kid, that's for the
- 23:12Speaker 1: vip matri mine.
- 23:14Speaker 2: That's fine, Like those are the types of things we
- 23:16Speaker 2: talk about and our uncensored bits on Patreon, but like
- 23:20Speaker 2: she wanted to make sure that I didn't enter in
- 23:24Speaker 2: blindly to a situation that I would regret later on.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and so I did, And so I can really
- 23:30Speaker 1: feel Christine here. She's like, no, I need to make
- 23:32Speaker 1: sure he's actually going to be able to get it
- 23:34Speaker 1: up for me totally, that he's attracted to me, because
- 23:37Speaker 1: Cody made it very clear that I was revolting to
- 23:41Speaker 1: him when I ate nachos, and that like he didn't
- 23:44Speaker 1: find me physically attractive, and that was so painful.
- 23:47Speaker 3: And this was something that Christine talks about was like
- 23:50Speaker 3: her biggest I don't want to say like weakness, but
- 23:52Speaker 3: like her biggest like sensitivity point that Cody uses this
- 23:57Speaker 3: against all the wives, like I think earlier we forgot
- 24:01Speaker 3: to talk about it. Cody undermines Janelle and her finances
- 24:05Speaker 3: and like how she manages fanitce is because that's really
- 24:08Speaker 3: important to her, that's her biggest insecurity. So he attacks that.
- 24:13Speaker 3: He attacks Christine's biggest insecurity, which is him not being
- 24:17Speaker 3: physically attracted to her, which I think would be a
- 24:19Speaker 3: lot of people's biggest insecurity and so this is cody'smo
- 24:22Speaker 3: and this is also a pattern of why he's a
- 24:25Speaker 3: narcissistic legendly because he loved bombs and he attacks people
- 24:29Speaker 3: with the biggest point, and this is how he manipulates
- 24:32Speaker 3: people and emotionally abuses them. Right, And it made me wonder, like,
- 24:36Speaker 3: what was Mary's weakest point?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Hmm, Yeah, we didn't talk about that.
- 24:41Speaker 3: He didn't talk about Mary's and like what he uses
- 24:43Speaker 3: against her, But maybe it's because she is so desperate
- 24:47Speaker 3: for love and like desperate for his love, and so
- 24:49Speaker 3: maybe he weaponizes that, probably because that's her biggest like
- 24:53Speaker 3: weak spot, because I swear it's like we talked about this.
- 24:56Speaker 3: I think last week, like if Cody's just nice to.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Mary, she will take him.
- 25:02Speaker 3: She will just praise him no matter what and think
- 25:04Speaker 3: that he's so great. She doesn't care about anybody else.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I don't understand it. I don't understand what she sees
- 25:09Speaker 3: in him, right, But I guess because they were each
- 25:11Speaker 3: other's first loves and I don't know.
- 25:15Speaker 1: No, but I think that's a really good point. I
- 25:17Speaker 1: think that maybe that was Mary's weakness was loneliness and
- 25:20Speaker 1: a need for companionship, which is just like a basic
- 25:23Speaker 1: human need. That's something that we all wanted, just to
- 25:25Speaker 1: love and to be loved. That is what she wanted
- 25:28Speaker 1: and expected in the relationship, and that is absolutely what
- 25:31Speaker 1: he withheld from her and probably made her to feel
- 25:34Speaker 1: like she did not deserve it because of the things
- 25:36Speaker 1: that she did, because she talks in this episode about
- 25:39Speaker 1: how she has carried guilt for other people, like always
- 25:42Speaker 1: had to apologize for things or like try to take
- 25:44Speaker 1: somebody's pain onto herself and say I'm sorry, And that
- 25:48Speaker 1: just echoed to me back to like the catfish and
- 25:51Speaker 1: to that betrayal that Cody is still trotting out to
- 25:54Speaker 1: try and use against her, so as if he cares,
- 25:57Speaker 1: I think with Mary it might have been that been
- 26:00Speaker 1: the desperation for some kind of a connection that he weaponized.
- 26:03Speaker 3: And see and like, if Mary could get along with Christine,
- 26:06Speaker 3: they could really commiserate right there, because I feel like
- 26:09Speaker 3: Christine is very similar ver much. I mean hers was
- 26:12Speaker 3: more about like the physical intimacy and stuff like that
- 26:14Speaker 3: and the romance, but like it's still that you want
- 26:17Speaker 3: that companionability. You want to feel like your partner loves
- 26:20Speaker 3: and desires you. And I feel like if Mary could
- 26:23Speaker 3: just get her the stick out of her ass, like
- 26:25Speaker 3: maybe her and Christine could be friends, But I digress.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that ship has sailed.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I agreed, And then we get into more of
- 26:33Speaker 3: a detailed conversation about PDA and making out with people.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Listen, is this the part where we had to watch
- 26:41Speaker 1: the clips of the compilation Christinea and David making out
- 26:46Speaker 1: like over and over and over again. I just had
- 26:50Speaker 1: to go limp. I had to vacate my body, my consciousness,
- 26:54Speaker 1: had to leave the earth plane and travel anywhere where.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I didn't have to hear.
- 26:59Speaker 1: And see that.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I know, Like we didn't have to have the sound
- 27:02Speaker 3: of that at all.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Oh god, no, I didn't.
- 27:04Speaker 3: We didn't need to hear that. And honestly, I wanted
- 27:06Speaker 3: to forget about all of that because we talked about
- 27:08Speaker 3: this many months ago, Yes, when we covered these episodes.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Y how cringe Christine was with just making out with
- 27:15Speaker 3: David all the time, and like, look, we're happy for her,
- 27:19Speaker 3: that's great, but it has been a lot. Yeah, it
- 27:22Speaker 3: has been a lot of PDA.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And even Janelle's like, yeah, like that's great at all,
- 27:25Speaker 1: but I don't necessarily want to hear all those noises
- 27:28Speaker 1: and even my kids are like, that's a lot, mom,
- 27:31Speaker 1: It is a lot. And in the moment with Suki,
- 27:33Speaker 1: it seems like Christine and David are aware that it's
- 27:38Speaker 1: a bit cringe, and so she's a little bit embarrassed,
- 27:40Speaker 1: although David's like, I love it. Yeah, I love the
- 27:43Speaker 1: lap dance too, and she's like, oh, David.
- 27:45Speaker 3: No, no, I'm so glad they didn't show that.
- 27:48Speaker 1: But you know he wanted to talk about it more.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Yeah, because he loved that. I'm sure he loved it,
- 27:52Speaker 3: which one both maybe he plays for both David, but
- 28:00Speaker 3: gets into a conversation about like PDA and how they
- 28:03Speaker 3: couldn't really show a lot of PDA in their plural
- 28:06Speaker 3: marriages and that this was kind of a rule that
- 28:09Speaker 3: they established.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Early on before Robin, before.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Robin, which Robin talks about how she wasn't really fond
- 28:16Speaker 3: of that.
- 28:17Speaker 1: But she did not have a choice and she was
- 28:19Speaker 1: told force. She had to conform. Yeah, she had no
- 28:23Speaker 1: say it's so awful, and Sukie asks her, well, who
- 28:26Speaker 1: told you that? She's like, I don't want to. I
- 28:28Speaker 1: don't want to say.
- 28:29Speaker 3: I don't want to name names.
- 28:30Speaker 1: It's Christine.
- 28:31Speaker 3: You think it's Christine.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I do think it's Christine because then they panned to
- 28:33Speaker 1: Christine and Christine's like, yeah, like you need those kinds
- 28:36Speaker 1: of rules though in polygamy, because if one marriage isn't
- 28:40Speaker 1: really working out and then you see your husband having
- 28:44Speaker 1: affection with another wife, like it's it's really hard. And
- 28:48Speaker 1: so I do think it was probably Christine, maybe a
- 28:51Speaker 1: little bit of Mary, because Janelle is like, I didn't care. Yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 1: like they can make out. That's fine, that's they're married.
- 28:56Speaker 1: And I understand that, right.
- 28:58Speaker 3: I think it was probably Mary and Christine because I
- 29:01Speaker 3: think Mary probably didn't like it either. I mean, but
- 29:04Speaker 3: then Cody says some shit about how Janelle's mom came
- 29:09Speaker 3: to him early on in their marriage and said, hey,
- 29:12Speaker 3: quit making out with Mary in front of Janelle because
- 29:14Speaker 3: it makes her feel bad. But then you have Janelle
- 29:17Speaker 3: saying I never cared, and.
- 29:19Speaker 1: She doesn't seem like the type who would have cared.
- 29:21Speaker 3: No, not at all. Yeah, because she knew that they
- 29:23Speaker 3: had other marriages. She even says that she's like, of course,
- 29:26Speaker 3: like I expected that. I feel like Janelle, out of
- 29:29Speaker 3: all of them, didn't care at all. But I think
- 29:32Speaker 3: when Robin came into the picture and the other wives
- 29:35Speaker 3: like Mary and Christine saw how much in love Cody
- 29:39Speaker 3: was with Robin, and that's obvious, Like you don't have
- 29:43Speaker 3: to kiss and everything for people to like, you know,
- 29:45Speaker 3: just by how they hold each other.
- 29:47Speaker 1: It's a vibe.
- 29:48Speaker 3: It's a vibe check check crime check, So like they know.
- 29:51Speaker 3: I think that was probably what the conversations were. But
- 29:54Speaker 3: then we have Cody bringing up a story that he
- 29:58Speaker 3: doesn't want to talk about out, but he's going to
- 30:01Speaker 3: talk about it a little bit anyway, so that way
- 30:03Speaker 3: we all wonder about it, about how him and Robin
- 30:08Speaker 3: didn't feel safe to show their affection in the family
- 30:12Speaker 3: because of something that happened that was so awful and
- 30:15Speaker 3: so traumatic apparently, but he won't say about what. He
- 30:18Speaker 3: won't say about.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Who, only that it caused them to be kicked out
- 30:22Speaker 1: of the family.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Hicked out of the family. What does that mean?
- 30:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I think what caused you to be
- 30:29Speaker 1: kicked out of the family is your destructive and damaging
- 30:32Speaker 1: behavior and the way that your wife has isolated you
- 30:35Speaker 1: away from the rest of your wives and your children.
- 30:38Speaker 1: That's what caused there to be an estrangement. But like
- 30:41Speaker 1: really got me thinking he's either straight up lying. He's
- 30:44Speaker 1: just saying that because he wants people to think that
- 30:49Speaker 1: they're victims as usual or there's something that happened, but
- 30:53Speaker 1: when it's not something that I've seen in any of
- 30:55Speaker 1: the seasons that I've watched. But in the back of
- 30:58Speaker 1: my mind, I keep thinking about mchael no longer talking
- 31:02Speaker 1: to Cody and Robin because of something that happened at
- 31:06Speaker 1: the funeral, right, And I can't imagine that.
- 31:10Speaker 4: They would be like Maine out right at Garrison's gravesite
- 31:14Speaker 4: or something, but I can see a world, especially when
- 31:17Speaker 4: you have them riding on the same horse and she's like,
- 31:21Speaker 4: oh my god, he's such a rancher and a cowboy.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Are like trying to be a little bit extra in
- 31:28Speaker 1: terms of the PDA. Like what if they were doing
- 31:31Speaker 1: that around the time of the funeral and it was
- 31:34Speaker 1: just like way too fucking much for the family and
- 31:36Speaker 1: they're like, that's it. I've had enough of you a holes.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I never want to see you again.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I could see that one hundred percent, I mean, but
- 31:44Speaker 3: Cody says that he can't show affection in front of
- 31:49Speaker 3: Mary and Janelle with Robin until they're married off. So
- 31:53Speaker 3: something happened with those two is what he's implying. But
- 31:58Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe he's just lying.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I think he's probably lying.
- 32:02Speaker 3: He's gotta be.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But if he's not lying, it feels like it's something
- 32:06Speaker 1: that's more recent than something that happened a long long
- 32:09Speaker 1: time ago.
- 32:09Speaker 3: That would make sense.
- 32:10Speaker 1: But I don't know, what does everybody think, because let's
- 32:13Speaker 1: workshop this and try to put our little raccoon heads
- 32:16Speaker 1: together figure it out. Yeah, to see what happened.
- 32:18Speaker 3: But I'm just like, screw you, Cody, Why are you
- 32:21Speaker 3: bringing up a story? And I'm not saying I don't
- 32:22Speaker 3: want to talk about it, like talk about start stirring
- 32:25Speaker 3: the pot and starting drama. And then you want to
- 32:28Speaker 3: say some bullshit like well, the world just hates true love.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Right when you're in love, you are subject to so much.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm like, shut up, get this man off of my television.
- 32:42Speaker 1: He is so rude, he is so dismissive of Suki.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I actually felt like it was a little triggered for
- 32:48Speaker 1: Suki because it was like she was dealing and she
- 32:51Speaker 1: knew she was dealing with an abuser, like trying to
- 32:53Speaker 1: have a conversation and we talked about this last week. Yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: but just trying to finesse like a way in to
- 33:00Speaker 1: keep that person talking and expressing themselves without like also
- 33:05Speaker 1: activating this irrational part of them that causes them to
- 33:08Speaker 1: lash out, which Cody the way he looks at her
- 33:11Speaker 1: like he's just like, I think that's all I want
- 33:14Speaker 1: to say about that. It's so aggress Oh my god,
- 33:18Speaker 1: sit across from me and try to speak to me
- 33:20Speaker 1: that way, you fucking piece of shit. See how that
- 33:23Speaker 1: goes for you, my guy, it ain't gonna go very well.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Like the self control that Suki has when he's being
- 33:30Speaker 1: so disrespectful is out of this world. Props to Suki
- 33:34Speaker 1: for that, because I would have just been cursing that
- 33:36Speaker 1: small little man. And now he's taping up the tendrils.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Did you notice that side bar hood is because you
- 33:42Speaker 1: before we have the tendrils down on the forehead. He's
- 33:47Speaker 1: now got like a headband back there. He's got a
- 33:49Speaker 1: rubber band or something. He's gluing his stupid tendrils due
- 33:52Speaker 1: bald ass peate. He looks foolish. He is foolish. He's dumb,
- 33:56Speaker 1: he's a liar, and I'm just like, I don't know
- 33:58Speaker 1: how Suki didn't salt him physically right there. Not to
- 34:02Speaker 1: advocate for that.
- 34:03Speaker 3: You know what, speaking of that sidebar with his hair,
- 34:07Speaker 3: you think he would have siphoned some of that family
- 34:09Speaker 3: money to like go to Turkey and get those hair
- 34:11Speaker 3: plugs and stuff. Yeah, because I'm like, dude, you could
- 34:14Speaker 3: have like fixed your hair, maybe earlier in the seasons
- 34:17Speaker 3: when it was like starting to really receive. You would
- 34:19Speaker 3: have fixed it, Yep, before it got to this point,
- 34:21Speaker 3: because what happens when those tentrils fall off then you
- 34:24Speaker 3: literally have this giant, gaping cul de sac. Yeah, with
- 34:28Speaker 3: your little ramen noodles taped on the back of your head.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It looks so preposterous. It would so infinitely better just
- 34:33Speaker 1: to shave it, yeah, like David does. Just get rid
- 34:36Speaker 1: of it, rock the balld. But nope, here we go
- 34:39Speaker 1: looking like a peacock, looking like a deranged, narcissistic, demonic peacock.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Straight.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I hate him so much, just the energy he was bringing.
- 34:47Speaker 1: And again I was just frothing thinking about like why DLC,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I know, why do you indulge this little, hateful, awful,
- 34:55Speaker 1: abusive man. Why do you let him sit on the couch.
- 34:57Speaker 1: He's getting paid for this and he's giving absolutely nothing.
- 35:00Speaker 1: He's lying to Suki's face. And then there's Robin, also
- 35:03Speaker 1: lying and giving absolutely nothing. She can't even be arked
- 35:07Speaker 1: to watch the clips that they're presenting. Thiss to traumatize.
- 35:10Speaker 1: It's so hard for traumatiz. God, get some balls to
- 35:15Speaker 1: LC fire these people. Oh my god, if Suki would
- 35:17Speaker 1: have just said, okay, well, if you're unwilling to answer
- 35:20Speaker 1: any of these questions, you can leave yep.
- 35:22Speaker 3: And you won't get paid for the next two tell alls.
- 35:24Speaker 1: And then just say nothing like that intentional pause and
- 35:28Speaker 1: see what he does. You can get up and leave,
- 35:30Speaker 1: thank you, thank you for your time.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Bye.
- 35:32Speaker 3: That'd be so great.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Nobody wants you here.
- 35:34Speaker 3: That would be so great if she could do that,
- 35:36Speaker 3: But they won't because they kind of need Cody and Robin.
- 35:38Speaker 3: I think it can eat Cody and Robin. I mean,
- 35:41Speaker 3: I know, but like we also all watch the show.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I hate the show though at the same time I
- 35:46Speaker 1: hate the show.
- 35:46Speaker 3: We watched the show anyway, though. That's the thing.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I'm starting to hate it more and more. Somebody save me.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Like these people are irredeemable. There's really no light in them,
- 35:57Speaker 1: there's no good in them. Well that's because being persecuted
- 36:01Speaker 1: because the world hates true love okay, and the world
- 36:04Speaker 1: hates Cody and Robin's truelove. Why do they get to
- 36:07Speaker 1: get away with it? Why do they get to get
- 36:09Speaker 1: a two point one million dollar mansion? Oh that won't
- 36:12Speaker 1: last night, although we needed, we should revisit that because
- 36:15Speaker 1: I don't know how they are going to pay for this.
- 36:17Speaker 1: They could only just pull the plug please on these people.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, we would see them flounder and flails
- 36:23Speaker 1: bankrupt and declare bankruptcy. It like TLC's not on our side. No,
- 36:28Speaker 1: production doesn't give a crap about what we want, and
- 36:31Speaker 1: so he gets to sit there like a little peacock,
- 36:34Speaker 1: terrible a hole and disrespect Suki. He's trying our hardest
- 36:38Speaker 1: to get anything out of him. Sorry, tangent over.
- 36:40Speaker 3: She definitely is. And I think she did an interview
- 36:43Speaker 3: with Sarah Frasier. We didn't watch it because I don't
- 36:46Speaker 3: like Sarah. I'm sorry you, oh, but I think she
- 36:49Speaker 3: was trying to talk about that and talk about how
- 36:52Speaker 3: difficult it was to try and keep everything straight with
- 36:55Speaker 3: interviewing all of these people for hours upon hours on
- 36:58Speaker 3: end and doing individual interviews and like having to be
- 37:01Speaker 3: respectful and like having to deal with Cody like she
- 37:04Speaker 3: I watched a clip where Suki was telling Sarah Frasier, like,
- 37:09Speaker 3: imagine sitting in front of Cody Brown for hours and
- 37:12Speaker 3: trying to talk to him and like deal with how
- 37:15Speaker 3: aggressive he is and how like how much his energy is,
- 37:19Speaker 3: Like it's so intense. So I get it. I understand,
- 37:23Speaker 3: Like I know we've been hard on Suki, but it's
- 37:25Speaker 3: like it's more of I'm annoyed with production and how
- 37:28Speaker 3: they do this one on one and how we don't
- 37:30Speaker 3: have everybody involved together in the same room. It's annoying, yeap.
- 37:36Speaker 3: And then we talk about After the World Hates True Love.
- 37:40Speaker 3: We talk about Robin and Mary's relationship or lack thereof,
- 37:44Speaker 3: and their friendship and how it's kind of deteriorated. Suki
- 37:48Speaker 3: talks about how Mary and Robin used to be very
- 37:50Speaker 3: close and now they aren't anymore. And then we watch
- 37:52Speaker 3: a clip of Robin fake crying when Mary was moving
- 37:56Speaker 3: out of her house and Flagstaff and giving her that
- 37:59Speaker 3: junk journal and how she was really sad for Mary
- 38:02Speaker 3: to leave her all alone and flies that by herself.
- 38:06Speaker 3: And this is where Mary talks about how well the
- 38:09Speaker 3: relationship hasn't been reciprocal for a really long time. I'm
- 38:12Speaker 3: tired of reaching out. Well.
- 38:13Speaker 1: But before she says that, though, Beatrice Suki asks her, well,
- 38:16Speaker 1: what do you think of like Robin crying? Oh yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 1: and Mary says, well, I mean I think she was
- 38:22Speaker 1: coming to terms with the reality that it was done
- 38:26Speaker 1: because she had spent so much time advocating for me
- 38:31Speaker 1: and trying to keep Cody and Die together and it
- 38:34Speaker 1: just didn't work. And so she was sitting in the
- 38:37Speaker 1: awareness of that. Yeah, I'm like, no, she came. She
- 38:41Speaker 1: hadn't seen you probably in weeks, if not months. She
- 38:44Speaker 1: came to perform for the cameras, to cry on cute
- 38:47Speaker 1: and give you an ugly journal and then get out
- 38:49Speaker 1: as soon as possible. Can we call a spade a
- 38:52Speaker 1: spabe and just say what it is?
- 38:53Speaker 3: That's what's so annoying about Mary's like she just doesn't
- 38:55Speaker 3: see these situations for what they are. And like, granted,
- 38:59Speaker 3: you know, Mary a bit of a victim in this situation,
- 39:02Speaker 3: like she's a victim of Cody's narcissistic abuse allegedly, you know,
- 39:07Speaker 3: like I get it, But at the same time, it's like,
- 39:09Speaker 3: holy shit, Like wake up and just see it. And
- 39:12Speaker 3: Christine comments about it and comments about how unfair it
- 39:17Speaker 3: was for Robin to constantly tell Mary, no, Cody still
- 39:21Speaker 3: loves you and you guys should try and work things out,
- 39:23Speaker 3: and blah blah blah. Like Christine straight up says, it's bullshit.
- 39:26Speaker 3: It was a manipulation, yep, which I loved Christine for
- 39:30Speaker 3: saying that. And I hope Mary watches that and takes
- 39:33Speaker 3: that in because all of her other friends are saying that.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Right, and so you would think that Mary actually thinks
- 39:39Speaker 1: that as well. Right, She's just choosing not to acknowledge
- 39:42Speaker 1: it in this moment for some reason. I don't get it,
- 39:45Speaker 1: But like Christine is one hundred percent correct, this was
- 39:47Speaker 1: a manipulation. Robin wants you to stay because it's easier
- 39:50Speaker 1: for her if you do. And I'm just wondering, were
- 39:53Speaker 1: you still financially contributing while you were in Flags? She
- 39:56Speaker 1: probably was, and if so, how much?
- 39:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder it would be really nice.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Of course Robin didn't want you to leave.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Yeah, of course not because Robin needs the money. She's
- 40:07Speaker 3: not gonna be able to pay for all those American
- 40:09Speaker 3: girl dollars.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Sixty thousand dollars in a year be.
- 40:12Speaker 3: A draged insane. And then this is where Christine says
- 40:16Speaker 3: that Mary's friends are actually really awesome and really great
- 40:19Speaker 3: for her because they're healthy and telling her the truth
- 40:22Speaker 3: and being honest, and that Robin was never really a
- 40:25Speaker 3: good friend because if Christine was in Robin's shoes, she
- 40:29Speaker 3: would have been telling Mary to leave years ago, because
- 40:32Speaker 3: even Christine saw the dysfunction between Mary and Cody. It
- 40:36Speaker 3: seems like everybody saw it except for Mary for some reason.
- 40:40Speaker 3: And then we have Cody saying that actually, Mary's friends
- 40:45Speaker 3: are just jealous of Robin because they actually want to
- 40:48Speaker 3: be Mary's BFF, just like Robin was Mary's BFF, and
- 40:53Speaker 3: that's why they're talking so much about me.
- 40:55Speaker 1: And Robin, right, They're just jealous, right.
- 40:58Speaker 3: And then the last top that we get into is
- 41:00Speaker 3: the luk agerec well, let's do bring in Robin, because
- 41:05Speaker 3: she does comment and say, oh.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that like she would be willing to have a
- 41:11Speaker 1: friendship with Mary. I mean, if there's something I need
- 41:14Speaker 1: to fix, I'm definitely willing to fix it. But I
- 41:17Speaker 1: have no idea what I would need to fix in
- 41:19Speaker 1: the first place, because I haven't done anything wrong. She
- 41:22Speaker 1: also talks about how when Mary left Flagstaff, she said like, yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 1: we can stay friends. And then it was Robin who
- 41:29Speaker 1: reached out and said, hey, when you travel I don't
- 41:31Speaker 1: know how many hours back to flag Staff and do
- 41:33Speaker 1: all the work and pay for the gas and put
- 41:34Speaker 1: the miles on your car to come back to flag Staff,
- 41:36Speaker 1: let's go do something fun together. Yeah, I have to
- 41:38Speaker 1: do all the work. And then she never really heard
- 41:40Speaker 1: from Mary, so like she needs to reciprocate too, And
- 41:44Speaker 1: I was thinking, okay, Robin, what about the I don't
- 41:47Speaker 1: know four years that Mary was in Flagstaff living down
- 41:51Speaker 1: the road from you, Like she selected a rental with
- 41:55Speaker 1: a jungle gym in the back so your kids could
- 41:58Speaker 1: come over, so she could hang out with your family.
- 42:00Speaker 1: All she wanted was to be a part of your family,
- 42:02Speaker 1: and you assured her that she would be. But then
- 42:04Speaker 1: after she got after you got her money from the
- 42:08Speaker 1: sale of her house in Vegas, it was crickets. Yeah,
- 42:12Speaker 1: so what about all that time when you just ghosted
- 42:15Speaker 1: Mary Like, no, we don't want to address that. We
- 42:16Speaker 1: just want to address well, since she left flag Staff,
- 42:19Speaker 1: I really haven't heard from her.
- 42:21Speaker 3: See, and that's such a manipulative thing that she's even
- 42:24Speaker 3: doing right there, because Mary's the one that starts off
- 42:27Speaker 3: saying it wasn't reciprocal. And Mary's been saying this for
- 42:30Speaker 3: the last couple episodes in this season, like I just
- 42:33Speaker 3: don't feel the same energy from Robin that I'm trying
- 42:36Speaker 3: to give to her, so like why do I even bother?
- 42:38Speaker 3: And now Robin's trying to say no, actually, Mary's the
- 42:41Speaker 3: one that's not reciprocating, and she does kind of say this, like, well,
- 42:44Speaker 3: we both feel like it's not reciprocal, So I guess
- 42:47Speaker 3: it's just gonna be how it is, right, But I
- 42:50Speaker 3: do want to fix it though, because I'm a good person.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Well, and for somebody who keeps talking about recency bias,
- 42:55Speaker 1: like you're just relying on what happened recently, you're not
- 42:59Speaker 1: really speaking to the many years that preceded Mary leaving
- 43:03Speaker 1: Flagstaff and how you treated her as a friend or
- 43:05Speaker 1: like failed to treat her as a friend. I speak
- 43:09Speaker 1: to that, but of course she won't know, and production
- 43:11Speaker 1: is not going to compel her to. And then we
- 43:14Speaker 1: get to the luggage rack.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Yeah, we talk about the luggage rect again. We see
- 43:17Speaker 3: another clip of Christina Janelle talking about the luggage rack situation.
- 43:22Speaker 3: I think at Gwenn's engagement party or.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Some I think it was Christine's actually something for christs
- 43:28Speaker 1: at the cantina where she's eating the beria and she
- 43:31Speaker 1: gets the juice on her white someone's I don't know,
- 43:33Speaker 1: something like that.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Who cares. They talked about the luggage ract though, and
- 43:37Speaker 3: how Janelle and Christine bonded over this, and how it
- 43:41Speaker 3: was more of a symbol for the fact that Cody
- 43:43Speaker 3: was a selfish piece of shit and didn't care about
- 43:45Speaker 3: the other wives, and then Suki asks everybody in the
- 43:50Speaker 3: one on ones about the luggage rag and Mary is
- 43:54Speaker 3: the one that's like, stop complaining, Christina and Janelle, this
- 43:57Speaker 3: is so petty. Stop complaining, Like I just don't see
- 44:00Speaker 3: the point and like comparing our relationships and complaining about
- 44:04Speaker 3: these stupid petty things.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. Maybe Christine has suffered over twenty
- 44:09Speaker 1: years of traumatic neglect from a man who has also
- 44:13Speaker 1: neglected you, yeah, Mary hell, and so maybe it's going
- 44:17Speaker 1: to take her a little bit of time to get
- 44:19Speaker 1: over that. And maybe David is a safe space where
- 44:21Speaker 1: she can actually off gas and vent and share with
- 44:24Speaker 1: him her issues and like how it affected her, and
- 44:27Speaker 1: so I'm sorry if you don't want to hear it anymore.
- 44:29Speaker 1: But maybe that's because you don't want to deal with
- 44:31Speaker 1: your own stuff and face the fact that Cody did
- 44:34Speaker 1: all of this and more to you as well, and
- 44:36Speaker 1: you just seem to be okay with it. And I
- 44:37Speaker 1: don't know why, because you like to preach about worthying
- 44:40Speaker 1: up and standing I guess ten toes down and who
- 44:43Speaker 1: it is that you are? But who are you?
- 44:44Speaker 3: Though? I know you?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Only who are you? Like? Why are you aligning yourself
- 44:48Speaker 1: even passively with these people who have strayed up financially
- 44:51Speaker 1: abused you and the otherwives and all of those kids?
- 44:54Speaker 1: Like who are you? Though?
- 44:55Speaker 3: I really don't understand it, And I don't understand why.
- 44:58Speaker 3: She's like really double down on this, like why are
- 45:01Speaker 3: you talking about Cody to David? Christine? Like why are
- 45:04Speaker 3: you doing that? It's like this is what Cody is saying.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Cody says, like, well, I can't believe Christine and Janelle
- 45:10Speaker 3: are still talked about me. They divorced me, though, but
- 45:12Speaker 3: they're still talking about me. She's echoing the same shit
- 45:14Speaker 3: that Cody is saying. I don't understand why you're doing
- 45:17Speaker 3: this doesn't make any sense. And like any normal person
- 45:21Speaker 3: will talk about their ex from time to time with
- 45:23Speaker 3: their current relationship because that's just what you do. And
- 45:27Speaker 3: I don't want to be mean, but I was just
- 45:29Speaker 3: gonna say, like, sorry, Mary, you're not in a relationship,
- 45:31Speaker 3: so right, understand.
- 45:32Speaker 1: That, right, and just building upon that, Like you've never
- 45:38Speaker 1: really been in a great relationship or a healthy relationship
- 45:42Speaker 1: where you were centered and focused, like the focus, and
- 45:45Speaker 1: anybody gave you like unconditional lefts, so you don't even
- 45:48Speaker 1: know what that's like. And so Christine is in a
- 45:50Speaker 1: whole new experience and it's safe for her to talk
- 45:53Speaker 1: about these things. She's in an experience that you've never had,
- 45:56Speaker 1: so you're uneducated on the matter entirely, and you want
- 45:58Speaker 1: to sit there in judgment about how these other women
- 46:01Speaker 1: are processing, keeping in mind that this is a show, yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 1: And like we're sitting down for a one on one
- 46:06Speaker 1: and Christine gets to bring her partner, so he's gonna
- 46:08Speaker 1: be there to witness whatever she has to say on
- 46:11Speaker 1: the subject of the show exactly. I don't know why
- 46:13Speaker 1: it's so mystifying to you, Mary, other than you just
- 46:16Speaker 1: want to be, I don't know, the best ex wife,
- 46:19Speaker 1: the favorite ex wife.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah, because you're such a pigmy for Cody Brown.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Right, you want to be the best ex wife and
- 46:25Speaker 1: you don't want to make him mad or whatever, Like
- 46:26Speaker 1: how is that working for you?
- 46:27Speaker 3: Yes? And that's the aspect of Mary that really just
- 46:30Speaker 3: annoys me, because I'm just like, I don't understand how
- 46:34Speaker 3: you can like try and play both sides where you
- 46:37Speaker 3: are critical sometimes of Cody, but then you go back
- 46:40Speaker 3: and defend him against the other OG wives and then
- 46:43Speaker 3: shit on the other OG wives for talking about him
- 46:46Speaker 3: and talking about their experiences with him. So gross.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Well, conversely, I found it interesting generally that while Cody
- 46:55Speaker 1: from time to time was a bit critical of Christine,
- 46:57Speaker 1: in this episode, he was for the most part really
- 46:59Speaker 1: post yeah, talking about like well, like she's obviously found
- 47:03Speaker 1: somebody she wants to eat his face. I wish nothing
- 47:05Speaker 1: but the best for her, And I'm like, why are
- 47:07Speaker 1: you being so nice? But it's because you got sued
- 47:10Speaker 1: by her, it's the lawsuit. You don't want to antagonize her.
- 47:14Speaker 1: You probably know if this goes to discovery exactly what
- 47:16Speaker 1: she's gonna discover about you, So you best not you
- 47:19Speaker 1: best not piss her off.
- 47:20Speaker 3: I was thinking that because I'm like, are you actually
- 47:23Speaker 3: happy with this? Because with how you reacted a couple
- 47:27Speaker 3: of seasons ago with Christine actually leaving.
- 47:29Speaker 1: You, you were freaking kidney and the kidney dumb.
- 47:36Speaker 3: He was so fucking mad. But now he's like trying
- 47:40Speaker 3: to be all mature and.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Like he's it great, She's so happy and.
- 47:45Speaker 3: That's what she always wanted. It was kind of interesting
- 47:48Speaker 3: that he was acknowledging that Christine was a huge romantic
- 47:51Speaker 3: and like she always wanted this like intimate romantic relationship
- 47:56Speaker 3: that he could not provide her. And when they were
- 47:58Speaker 3: talking about the intimacy, like he says that they both
- 48:01Speaker 3: were just like not really into it, And so there
- 48:04Speaker 3: was some aspect in him, maybe deep down in the
- 48:08Speaker 3: cold dark depths of his heart, he's like acknowledging a
- 48:12Speaker 3: little bit of accountability for their broken marriage. But I
- 48:15Speaker 3: think you're right. I think it's about the way.
- 48:17Speaker 1: You didn't really hear that with Janelle. Like he seemed
- 48:20Speaker 1: to be more angry with Janelle, and I was just like,
- 48:23Speaker 1: he knows that Janelle just lost her son. You think
- 48:27Speaker 1: he would be a little more careful a little softer
- 48:31Speaker 1: with whatever he has to say about Janelle because he
- 48:33Speaker 1: knows the pain of that loss. But no, he wasn't.
- 48:36Speaker 3: No, he's bitter.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think he's motivated by money and he's
- 48:39Speaker 1: just trying to defend himself and what he has. Defie
- 48:42Speaker 1: doesn't care about Janelle and he doesn't think Janelle can
- 48:44Speaker 1: do anything to him.
- 48:45Speaker 3: No, well, because remember his biggest fearest poverty, right, So
- 48:48Speaker 3: he'll do anything he can to avoid that. But we'll see,
- 48:53Speaker 3: only time will tell, yes. But anyway, when we get
- 48:55Speaker 3: back to the luggage rag conversation, oh god, are we
- 48:58Speaker 3: not done with?
- 48:58Speaker 1: No, we're not okay.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Larry says, it's petty complaining. Christine and Janelle talk about
- 49:03Speaker 3: how it's like a funny thing that they commiserated over,
- 49:06Speaker 3: and then we get to Robin. No, actually, then we
- 49:08Speaker 3: get to Cody, and Cody says, well, I don't remember
- 49:11Speaker 3: a luggage rack, and actually there was no luggage rack
- 49:14Speaker 3: because me and Christine were in a four door sedan,
- 49:17Speaker 3: there was no luggage racks. So he's trying to pretend
- 49:19Speaker 3: like he doesn't even remember, or like the memory doesn't even.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Exist, or that he didn't watch the clips that we
- 49:24Speaker 1: all just watched and we saw him watching in which
- 49:27Speaker 1: they were talking about being in a hotel and using
- 49:29Speaker 1: the luggage rack in the hotel. So he's being antagonistic
- 49:32Speaker 1: to Suki here. He's like, yeah, well we didn't even
- 49:34Speaker 1: have a luggage rack on the car.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Yes, but we're talking about the hotel, right, Yeah, and
- 49:39Speaker 3: then he says something to dig at Christine, like if
- 49:42Speaker 3: she's going to continue to compare herself to Robin, she's
- 49:45Speaker 3: going to be super unhappy. So again, this is like
- 49:48Speaker 3: the narrative that Cody has that oh it's Christine just
- 49:51Speaker 3: comparing yourself to Robin, like Robin's actually perfect and it's
- 49:54Speaker 3: Christine who's crazy and I was actually a really good husband.
- 49:59Speaker 3: And then we get to Robin and Suki asks, well
- 50:02Speaker 3: did you get the luggage rack and Robin says, well,
- 50:05Speaker 3: yes I did, but this is also stupid, but yeah
- 50:08Speaker 3: I did get the luggage rack.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so smugs so smug.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and then she says something like, well maybe it's
- 50:15Speaker 3: because I put my luggage there first.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 50:18Speaker 3: So again putting the onus on the wives, right and
- 50:20Speaker 3: not Cody being selfish. Yeah, And then we end the
- 50:23Speaker 3: episode with Suki telling Christine, yeah, Robin got the luggage rack,
- 50:27Speaker 3: and Christine's all shocked.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Like we didn't know that.
- 50:31Speaker 3: I've been knowing.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I mean, but like, how hard would it have been,
- 50:35Speaker 1: Beatrice for somebody just to break it down for everybody
- 50:39Speaker 1: else and say, well, what the luggage rack symbolizes is
- 50:43Speaker 1: that Cody puts himself first and he doesn't really care
- 50:46Speaker 1: about me and my luggage, and so my stuff has
- 50:48Speaker 1: to go on the floor, and he only cares about himself.
- 50:51Speaker 1: And if he does put Robin's luggage on the luggage rack,
- 50:54Speaker 1: that means he cares about her. But why didn't he
- 50:57Speaker 1: care about us? That's that's what they're really trying to highlight,
- 51:01Speaker 1: which is legitimate and valid, which we could actually have
- 51:03Speaker 1: a deeper conversation about, but we never kind of get
- 51:07Speaker 1: to those depths, and so it just just look at
- 51:09Speaker 1: you track conversation.
- 51:11Speaker 3: It's like super annoying to me, frustrating that we can't
- 51:14Speaker 3: just like confront Cody and Robin directly and be like,
- 51:17Speaker 3: you guys preferred each other, Like that was the biggest
- 51:21Speaker 3: issue between your whole entire family. You guys found love,
- 51:25Speaker 3: you guys preferred each other. You broke up the family
- 51:27Speaker 3: because you couldn't keep your hands off of each other.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Like that's it, but like we can't be that direct
- 51:32Speaker 3: with them, no, And it's.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Really annoying, well because Robin will straight up lie about it, yes,
- 51:37Speaker 1: and Cody will throw a temper tantrum about it. Yeah,
- 51:41Speaker 1: just stop talking exactly.
- 51:43Speaker 3: It's super annoying.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:44Speaker 3: And then we get to the preview for hopefully the
- 51:47Speaker 3: last episode of this season. But I'm just like, I
- 51:50Speaker 3: wonder if we're going to have another like little special
- 51:53Speaker 3: or something.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Come on for what.
- 51:55Speaker 3: I don't know. I just feel like they're going to
- 51:57Speaker 3: have something, but hopefully not. Hopefully next week is the
- 52:01Speaker 3: last one on one. And we have Janelle again saying
- 52:05Speaker 3: that Cody is hyper focused on appearances. We know, I
- 52:08Speaker 3: don't care.
- 52:09Speaker 1: We've been dying. I don't care. Holy crap.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Then we have Cody saying that even though Janelle and
- 52:15Speaker 3: Christine divorced him, they still talk about him, Like again,
- 52:19Speaker 3: we're talking. We're on a show. I know, we have
- 52:22Speaker 3: to keep talking about you. Robin saying that she's not
- 52:25Speaker 3: tracking any of the complaints from the other wives. I
- 52:28Speaker 3: don't get it.
- 52:29Speaker 1: I don't know what they're saying, I'm like not keeping
- 52:31Speaker 1: up with any of this because I don't really care.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Just give me my paycheck.
- 52:34Speaker 3: You are totally keeping up with it though, she's totally
- 52:37Speaker 3: watching all of the footage.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Look at her eyebrows. She changed him the criticism.
- 52:41Speaker 3: Yeah, she's on the redditch she's reading. And then we
- 52:45Speaker 3: have Mary saying that she never introduced Robin to Cody.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Interesting, which is very interesting because this has been a
- 52:51Speaker 1: matter of sister wives lore and I hope that she
- 52:55Speaker 1: actually explains how it actually went down, but I doubt
- 52:58Speaker 1: that we'll get there.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and then we get into the conversation about the
- 53:02Speaker 3: lightning bolts and the pussy. Yeah, and how Cody only
- 53:06Speaker 3: ever had that feeling with Robin. Robin only ever had
- 53:08Speaker 3: that feeling with him. But Christine says she had that
- 53:11Speaker 3: lightning bolt in her pussy.
- 53:12Speaker 1: For Cody, which is amazing.
- 53:15Speaker 3: Yep, but yikes, Cody says that never happened. Yeah, I
- 53:19Speaker 3: mean we know this because Cody was apparently repulsed by
- 53:22Speaker 3: Christine gusted since the.
- 53:26Speaker 1: For real.
- 53:27Speaker 3: And then we have Robin or sorry Cody saying that
- 53:31Speaker 3: Robin laid him in a bed, a rose garden bed
- 53:35Speaker 3: of trust.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I hate him.
- 53:38Speaker 3: I hate him so disgusting the way he describes their
- 53:41Speaker 3: love honestly, and then Suki asking Cody if he would
- 53:46Speaker 3: do this all over again, plural marriage being with the
- 53:49Speaker 3: og Wives, and I really hope he says yes, because if.
- 53:52Speaker 1: He will say yes because of his children.
- 53:54Speaker 3: But I don't know's he Cody, If he's like no,
- 54:00Speaker 3: all of his children are just like Dad. I feel
- 54:05Speaker 3: like he's gonna say no.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I feel like he's gonna say yes. I think he
- 54:08Speaker 1: has enough like awareness to understand that he cannot say no.
- 54:12Speaker 3: I would hope not. Maybe he'll say yes for the children,
- 54:15Speaker 3: but no for the wives.
- 54:17Speaker 1: We'll see yeah in the final installment of Sister Wives
- 54:21Speaker 1: season nine.
- 54:21Speaker 3: I hope it's the final installment.
- 54:23Speaker 1: So exhausted, like my eyes are crossing. Yeah, And it's
- 54:26Speaker 1: just it's just like running through the timeline and the
- 54:29Speaker 1: clips and the commentary of things we've already discussed a
- 54:32Speaker 1: million times before. I feel like these tell nothings could
- 54:36Speaker 1: have been condensed into one episode to get like the
- 54:39Speaker 1: things we want to talk about, which is Coyote Pass
- 54:41Speaker 1: for real, the divorces, maybe the friendship between Mary and
- 54:45Speaker 1: Robin or whatever. But like we didn't need to spend
- 54:48Speaker 1: this much time. It's just eching it out, Yes.
- 54:51Speaker 3: It really is. They're trying to get as much money
- 54:53Speaker 3: as they can, I think apparently, and then we're gonna
- 54:56Speaker 3: have allegedly season twenty at the end of like the
- 54:59Speaker 3: end of the summer.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Yeah, something like August or September, according to Nicki Haverstock.
- 55:03Speaker 1: And this is a rumor only. Oh but let's get
- 55:06Speaker 1: back to the second McMansion. I did want to just
- 55:10Speaker 1: talk about this with you again because Nikki Haverstock like
- 55:15Speaker 1: apparently saw either the receipts heard from a realtor that
- 55:21Speaker 1: Cody and Robin were thoroughly extended on the original mcmanson,
- 55:26Speaker 1: meaning anytime their home increased inequity like they were a
- 55:31Speaker 1: little bit up, they took out a loan, they refinanced,
- 55:34Speaker 1: they did a heelog but they pulled that equity out
- 55:37Speaker 1: And there were multiple loans against the first McMansion, so
- 55:42Speaker 1: much so that even though they sold it, I would
- 55:45Speaker 1: imagine for one point six I know they listed it
- 55:47Speaker 1: for one point six million, they had loans against it
- 55:52Speaker 1: for a lot, if not almost the entire amount. And
- 55:55Speaker 1: we know they purchased the second McMansion with a down
- 56:00Speaker 1: payment that came out of a trust and it was
- 56:03Speaker 1: for like four hundred thousand dollars, So that's how they
- 56:06Speaker 1: made the down payment. But I just feel like there
- 56:09Speaker 1: wasn't a whole lot of additional liquidity other than well,
- 56:12Speaker 1: the assets aren't liquid, Like they didn't really have a
- 56:15Speaker 1: whole lot of money to put down or to spend
- 56:21Speaker 1: in order to purchase this home. And I'm just really
- 56:23Speaker 1: wondering now as we're exiting the season, they're in the house.
- 56:27Speaker 1: They've got it, Yeah, they sold the other house. Yeah, Like,
- 56:31Speaker 1: how are they going to make these payments? Because four
- 56:34Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars down payment on a two point one
- 56:37Speaker 1: million dollar home is still one point seven million dollars
- 56:42Speaker 1: that they're financing unless they were able to throw some
- 56:44Speaker 1: more money at it. I do one point seven million dollars.
- 56:48Speaker 1: What kind a mortgage are you looking at? With that?
- 56:51Speaker 1: Mean it's at least ten thousand to fifteen thousand a month, right, Oh,
- 56:56Speaker 1: at least.
- 56:57Speaker 3: And then depending on what interest rate they get it
- 57:00Speaker 3: at too, Like if they got it at six percent, right,
- 57:03Speaker 3: oh my, I.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Mean it was terrible last year. It was the sevens.
- 57:05Speaker 3: It's really bad, and like flag Staff is not a
- 57:07Speaker 3: cheap area now, Like I don't know what their property
- 57:09Speaker 3: taxes and stuff are like either, and then you have
- 57:12Speaker 3: all the utilities and stuff, like I don't know how
- 57:15Speaker 3: they're paying for this shit. Maybe that's why Cody has
- 57:19Speaker 3: dropped seeds this season about selling Coyote Pass, because I
- 57:22Speaker 3: know Robin doesn't want to. She wants us to believe
- 57:25Speaker 3: that she's still holding onto the dream or whatever. But
- 57:28Speaker 3: maybe that's why Cody's like, we got to figure this
- 57:30Speaker 3: out so we can sell, so they can use that
- 57:32Speaker 3: money to maybe put towards the house or whatever. I
- 57:36Speaker 3: could see something like that.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I'm just really wondering how all of this is being
- 57:41Speaker 1: balanced by Cody and Robin. And as we've discussed millions
- 57:45Speaker 1: of times before, but it's just like so juicy not
- 57:47Speaker 1: to continue to reiterate like what happens when Sister Wives
- 57:51Speaker 1: goes away or we do something like an after Sister
- 57:53Speaker 1: Wives with just the girls and what they're doing and
- 57:56Speaker 1: just the kids, and like know Cody and Robin, like
- 57:59Speaker 1: what are they going to do. They're gonna have to
- 58:02Speaker 1: sell their house? Oh, they're definitely they're not gonna They're
- 58:04Speaker 1: gonna have to downsize all of their vehicles. Ye all
- 58:07Speaker 1: of the college tu wish it gos my.
- 58:11Speaker 3: God, there's no way, Like if they were like actually
- 58:14Speaker 3: smart with their money, kind of like with Christine and David,
- 58:17Speaker 3: Like David's got that nice construction business, like he's making money,
- 58:20Speaker 3: Christine's making money with her MLM stuff and stuff, and
- 58:25Speaker 3: then they have their airbnbs.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Right now to their own home.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Yep, They've got a lot of passive income that they're
- 58:32Speaker 3: too and fine. And they got like a nice house,
- 58:34Speaker 3: like and I'm not trying to like downplay it, like
- 58:36Speaker 3: it's a modest house compared to Cody and Robin's McMansion,
- 58:40Speaker 3: which is ugly by the way, it's horrid, absolutely horrid,
- 58:43Speaker 3: But like they got a nice house with a nice
- 58:44Speaker 3: view and everything. They're not like living beyond their means.
- 58:48Speaker 1: They're like I don't think so, I would hope not.
- 58:50Speaker 3: It seems like they're doing pretty okay, but like Cody
- 58:52Speaker 3: and Robin are not smart. They have this huge mansion,
- 58:55Speaker 3: Like I think they're either taking out debt to pay
- 58:59Speaker 3: some utility bills and stuff like that, like they're screwing themselves.
- 59:04Speaker 1: And Robin I think has a legitimate spending problem. Definitely,
- 59:08Speaker 1: Like the fact that you are allegedly purchasing sixty thousand
- 59:13Speaker 1: dollars worth of American girl dolls. I think in a year, right,
- 59:18Speaker 1: Like was it over time?
- 59:19Speaker 3: It was like in a month.
- 59:20Speaker 1: I mean at least a year, if not a month.
- 59:23Speaker 1: The fact that you're spending money on such stupid, frivolous
- 59:28Speaker 1: things while there's like a lawsuit pending a potential second
- 59:32Speaker 1: lawsuit because they didn't know whether Mary and Janelle were
- 59:34Speaker 1: going to sue and what they were going to get.
- 59:36Speaker 1: Like the fact that you're still just bleeding money like
- 59:39Speaker 1: that means that this is your personality. This is the
- 59:42Speaker 1: kind of stuff that you do, means that you're doing
- 59:44Speaker 1: it right now in addition to having to pay for
- 59:46Speaker 1: all of your kids cars and the insurance and the
- 59:50Speaker 1: mortgage and all of the things. Oh my god, I'm
- 59:53Speaker 1: stressed out just thinking about that. And the thing is
- 59:56Speaker 1: is these two people, and I hate to like count
- 59:58Speaker 1: people's coins, and I hate to be judging in this way,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: but they don't deserve it.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: No, they don't.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: They don't deserve to live a life of lavish luxury.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: When the mothers, the other mothers, the other wives and
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the kids don't have their fair share. I mean, I
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: don't begrudge anybody their wealth. I think like, if you're
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: earning it, you're building, that's fantastic. But like when you're
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: stealing it though, or when it's not fair allegedly, like
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: when you're siphoning money away from people who have earned
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: that money, like you should not be able to prosper.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: And so I'm just they won't monkling this like waiting
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: for the moment when the House of Cards falls.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: It's inevitable at this point. Karma is a bitch, like
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Jojo Siwah has said. And so I think it's going
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: to happen. We're going to see it, we're going to
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: be reporting on it.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: But like the Cody and the Robin that we're watching
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: in these tell alls, they're living like that's never going
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: to happen. They're living like they have the power in
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: this situation and they can tell Suki what to do,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: and they can answer the questions as they wish. They're
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: living as if this is not a precarious situation that
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: they're in. For me, I would be like ingratiating myself.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: It's like what can of course you can come into
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: my house to film. Absolutely, I'll share my life story
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: with you. But they have no sense of what is
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: coming for them.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: I mean they're so delusional, But like, wouldn't you have
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: to be if you were in this big of a hole?
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: Like if that shit that Nikki Haverstock is saying is
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: true about the multiple leans on their loans on their
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: previous big mansion and then having to sell that having
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: no liquidation, and then having to put take money out
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: of a trust? Like whose trust was that was that?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: And how did you build that?
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: No?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: No, it's their trust. But how did they build that trust?
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Exactly off the backs of the women that were disenfranchised
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: and the children who were exploited to make this show?
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, what if they like, what if they took
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: all that money out so that way nobody could fight
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: for it. What if they took all that money and
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: then put it into the house kind of like a
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: money laundering scheme. Mm hmm, like washing their money so
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: that way nobody would try and take any of it.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: And what if Janelle saw it? What if Janelle saw
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: the movement of the money. And she's a smart cookie,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you can't tell me if she saw it. She wasn't
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: wondering to herself, like what are they doing with that?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: And I see all these assets building and we have
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Maddie who's her daughter, talking about those assets. So they're talking.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Janelle and Maddie are talking together. Yeah, it's like, why
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: did Janelle let that happen?
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: I don't get it? Or maybe that was this straller
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: broke the camel's baby girl.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I don't know. Interesting, interesting stuff. And we're talking about
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: the things everybody wants to talk about, by which Suki
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: will not ask them, of course. Not so all right, Well,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: is there anything else that we need to say to
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: these beautiful records before we get up on out of here? Beatrice?
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Well, if you love our podcast, please go to your

- 1:03:03Speaker 1: also we'll have a plan put together about what we're
