- 0:08Speaker 1: and they go wearing a whist So, yeah, it's too bad,
- 0:11Speaker 1: but what did you expect. It's a podcast called twenty
- 0:15Speaker 1: five Whistles, twenty wine win.
- 0:20Speaker 2: The sports still doesn't hit exactly right. It almost sounds
- 0:22Speaker 2: like we're yelling Porsche or ports, Porsche, Porsche sor something
- 0:29Speaker 2: like that. Sports. Well, it's supposed to say sports. Hello, everybody.
- 0:33Speaker 2: This is twenty five Whistles presented by Draft King Sportsbook,
- 0:36Speaker 2: an official sports betting partner of the NBA. Download the
- 0:38Speaker 2: DraftKings app, use the code Bobby Sports. Get in on
- 0:41Speaker 2: the action, and let's blow the whistle and get the
- 0:44Speaker 2: show underway. Got big Jim Nance news by the way,
- 0:47Speaker 2: what yeah are we starting that? We can if you're
- 0:51Speaker 2: gonna do that first. Yeah, So I wanted to get
- 0:54Speaker 2: Jim Nance on the show, and I thought, I don't
- 0:57Speaker 2: all have like my management team out to his much
- 1:01Speaker 2: easier than me trying to figure out how to reach
- 1:02Speaker 2: out to him, and I don't always ask him to
- 1:05Speaker 2: do that set up interviews. But I figured Jim Nance
- 1:07Speaker 2: is such a big get, such a big fish that
- 1:09Speaker 2: and also he lives here now supposedly, And so I
- 1:13Speaker 2: did hear a story though about Jim Nance going to
- 1:15Speaker 2: a golf club here in town because they just moved here,
- 1:17Speaker 2: and it's like, I like to be a member, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: they're like, we have a waiting list. It's hard to
- 1:20Speaker 2: get on anywhere because it's a waiting list, and he
- 1:22Speaker 2: wasn't anything about it, but it's like, it's Jim Nance.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It's like if Kobe wanted to join the y play basketball,
- 1:28Speaker 2: Like I'm sorry, Kobe, we don't have any room for
- 1:30Speaker 2: another basket. No, no, no, no, it's Kobe, Like he has
- 1:33Speaker 2: a lifetime specialty. What he's most known for is playing basketball.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And you're gonna say no to Kobe. You're gonna say
- 1:39Speaker 2: no to Jim Nantz, mister golf, mister voice of the Masters.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I can't confirm that story completely, but my source was
- 1:47Speaker 2: really good and they were like, he just wanted to join,
- 1:50Speaker 2: and he wasn't trying to force himself up the line,
- 1:53Speaker 2: but everybody around him was kind of surprised because he's
- 1:57Speaker 2: the voice of golf, Like he's that's freaking Jim Nance. Yes,
- 2:02Speaker 2: they wouldn't let and how cool would it be for
- 2:03Speaker 2: a club to they don't say it outwardly, but inside
- 2:07Speaker 2: the club, how cool would it be for other members
- 2:09Speaker 2: to go in the real life, like, yeah, Jim nance
- 2:12Speaker 2: is now remember at our club that would be so legit? Yes? Absolutely,
- 2:15Speaker 2: Well are they thinking like I would get it?
- 2:17Speaker 1: You know?
- 2:17Speaker 2: There were a couple of places I call a couple
- 2:19Speaker 2: clubs I tried to join and they were like, oh,
- 2:20Speaker 2: we have a wait less of a year, so you
- 2:22Speaker 2: can join the club and pay the dues, but you
- 2:23Speaker 2: can't have to wait a year. I was like, no way.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I went to one. This is I don't know the
- 2:31Speaker 2: difference in pre pandemic and right after the pandemic, because
- 2:35Speaker 2: the pandemic never quite ended. It just kind of went
- 2:37Speaker 2: away slowly, So I don't know if it was right
- 2:40Speaker 2: before or right after. But I went to a club
- 2:44Speaker 2: here in town, and I was like, I'm gonna join
- 2:46Speaker 2: a golf club now. Right when I moved here, I
- 2:48Speaker 2: lived on a golf course. I moved here. I moved
- 2:51Speaker 2: to a part of town that was in Brentwood, Tennessee,
- 2:53Speaker 2: which is twenty five minutes south of Nashville. And I
- 2:57Speaker 2: moved and there was a club there and I lived
- 2:59Speaker 2: in a place because they said you should have lived there.
- 3:01Speaker 2: There's walls, there's gates. It's a gated community. People can't
- 3:04Speaker 2: come in to kill you. Crazyly, there was a guy
- 3:07Speaker 2: that killed his wife and ran around with a gun
- 3:09Speaker 2: in the streets in the neighbor what So it wasn
- 3:12Speaker 2: anybody coming in if somebody that was already killed us. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 2: it's crazy. So but it was a golf course type community.
- 3:21Speaker 2: So I go and I join. I'm like, I finally
- 3:23Speaker 2: made it. I got enough money now to go join
- 3:25Speaker 2: a country club. I'm legit. I didn't know what a
- 3:28Speaker 2: country club was, but now I do know what it
- 3:30Speaker 2: is and I can afford it. So I go, and
- 3:32Speaker 2: I'm paying my crazy amount of dues you have to
- 3:34Speaker 2: pay up front. And not only that, I get to go,
- 3:36Speaker 2: like just drop a backpack and be like, I'm paying
- 3:37Speaker 2: all my dues right now, Like a really cool moment
- 3:39Speaker 2: for me. So they're like, okay, cool. Then you pay
- 3:41Speaker 2: your you drop your thousands of dollars up front, and
- 3:45Speaker 2: then you do your three four hundred bucks a month
- 3:47Speaker 2: or whatever that fee is, and by boom boom boom,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and I'm like, I gonna play so much golf. I'm
- 3:53Speaker 2: gonna play so much. I'm gonna get a new clubs,
- 3:55Speaker 2: not because they're old, but because I'm gona wipe the
- 3:57Speaker 2: face off of them. There's gonna be you so much.
- 4:00Speaker 2: In the year and a half two years that I
- 4:02Speaker 2: lived there, I played maybe four times, wow, because I
- 4:06Speaker 2: was gone so much and work so much. And then
- 4:09Speaker 2: I eventually had to leave the club, and so all
- 4:10Speaker 2: that down money just gone, and never really had to
- 4:14Speaker 2: play there. So I was like, I'm never joining a
- 4:16Speaker 2: club again. What a waste of money, What a waste
- 4:18Speaker 2: of money. Then things started going a little better and
- 4:21Speaker 2: better and better, and I started to go, well, I
- 4:23Speaker 2: think I'm gonna try to play golf. Because I didn't
- 4:25Speaker 2: play golf for like five or six years at all,
- 4:27Speaker 2: because I just did not have the time. I didn't
- 4:29Speaker 2: play golf in my life until later at all. I
- 4:32Speaker 2: mean I probably didn't even pick up a club till
- 4:36Speaker 2: twenty eight. Wow. Never played golf in Arkansas, true, I mean,
- 4:41Speaker 2: at least where I was, we had no golf courses.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I had nobody that played golf. We didn't have a
- 4:45Speaker 2: school golf team. That's kind of like a rich person
- 4:47Speaker 2: sport oka. And so once I got to twenty seven
- 4:51Speaker 2: twenty eight, and I was doing pretty good in Austin.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I joined like it wasn't a club, but you could
- 4:57Speaker 2: pay and then if you paid this amount of every month,
- 4:59Speaker 2: you could just go play whenever you want. It was
- 5:00Speaker 2: like my entry to a golf club, like entry to
- 5:02Speaker 2: understanding what it was. And so I would do that
- 5:05Speaker 2: all the time. And Eddie was working news. And since
- 5:08Speaker 2: he was working news and his job was just to
- 5:10Speaker 2: go and find news and shoot it, he'd just come
- 5:12Speaker 2: play golf. There was no news to be found. Was
- 5:16Speaker 2: he working on the golf course? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 2: working at a new finger quotes yes exactly, yes, And
- 5:22Speaker 2: so we play golf and I wasn't good. We did
- 5:25Speaker 2: that for about two years. So my first two years
- 5:28Speaker 2: was learning how to play golf. The one year after
- 5:31Speaker 2: that was when I joined here. And then I didn't
- 5:33Speaker 2: play for five or six years, so probably like thirty
- 5:38Speaker 2: six or thirty seven. And I've only played golf for
- 5:40Speaker 2: about three years. So I got back in a few
- 5:43Speaker 2: years ago. So I've really only played golf like five years.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I'll go join a new club, and so I
- 5:51Speaker 2: go and I joined a new club and I'm int.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And but when we looked around. We went to all
- 5:57Speaker 2: these places. One place in particular, it was a real
- 5:59Speaker 2: nice club and they have like swimming. We'd need that
- 6:03Speaker 2: we have swim pool, but they got swimming, and they
- 6:05Speaker 2: got like a gym, and they got all this stuff
- 6:08Speaker 2: like an athletic center and tennis courts. And I sit
- 6:13Speaker 2: through like an hour tour and I'm like, this is
- 6:17Speaker 2: real nice, real nice, And all you want to know
- 6:18Speaker 2: is really how much it costs because they don't tell
- 6:20Speaker 2: you that up front because it's never something that's super comfortable,
- 6:23Speaker 2: so they want to like fall in love with it
- 6:25Speaker 2: before they go. And here's in here. You need seventy
- 6:28Speaker 2: thousand dollars to pay to be it. And that's only
- 6:30Speaker 2: like the middle of the road clubs. There's some here
- 6:33Speaker 2: in town that are one fifty just to just to
- 6:35Speaker 2: be a member. Like you're in You're hello, I like
- 6:38Speaker 2: to be a member. I'll pay this upfront. It's crazy.
- 6:42Speaker 2: There's one you have to own property on it, and
- 6:45Speaker 2: with that property, you ain't gonna pay less than even
- 6:47Speaker 2: for a lot, like three million dollars. So you own
- 6:50Speaker 2: the property and you pay your member if you owned
- 6:52Speaker 2: the property, but you're you're you pay a member fee,
- 6:54Speaker 2: but you don't have any down payment, gotcha. So but
- 6:56Speaker 2: it gets pretty crazy, right, yes, And so we're looking
- 6:59Speaker 2: at this one, do the whole process, walk through all
- 7:00Speaker 2: of it. And my wife's with me this. She didn't
- 7:04Speaker 2: really care. She kind of like, are we sure we
- 7:06Speaker 2: want to spend this money on a club? And I'm like,
- 7:08Speaker 2: I just want to play golf because it lets me compete,
- 7:11Speaker 2: Like it's really the only thing. I can play basketball.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I go to the wine play basketball, but I don't
- 7:15Speaker 2: want to tear a knee. And then I can't do
- 7:19Speaker 2: all this other stuff that I'm doing in television because
- 7:20Speaker 2: at the time I was doing a lot of outdoor climbing,
- 7:23Speaker 2: a lot of really risky stuff on television. At least
- 7:27Speaker 2: I was doing breaking Bobby Bones, I was doing Barry Grills,
- 7:31Speaker 2: so Snake in the Grass when I was in Costa Rica.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And so we spend all this time, our hour. Fifteen
- 7:40Speaker 2: minutes later, I feel like I'm being recruited to a campus.
- 7:46Speaker 2: You're d one athlete. Yes, my sponsors and shown I
- 7:49Speaker 2: feel like I know her now. And finally we sit
- 7:52Speaker 2: down like a little office and she has a folder.
- 7:55Speaker 2: She goes okay and here's rates, and here's X and
- 7:59Speaker 2: Y and z, and all I want to do is
- 8:01Speaker 2: how much it costs?
- 8:02Speaker 1: Is it?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Just want how much costs? And they have different at
- 8:06Speaker 2: country clubs, which I've learned in the last few years,
- 8:08Speaker 2: they have different levels. You can just be a social socialist.
- 8:12Speaker 2: You can go and eat there, and you can do
- 8:14Speaker 2: the tennis, you can do the sauna if they have one.
- 8:19Speaker 2: But then there's a level up which is golf. That's
- 8:22Speaker 2: like the supreme high tier membership.
- 8:26Speaker 3: So you would go there if you didn't have the
- 8:27Speaker 3: golf one just basically to hang out and get some
- 8:30Speaker 3: treatment and just say you're part.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Of the tennis. Yeah. Yeah, they a different spin on
- 8:35Speaker 2: it kind of. Then they have a gym okay, oh okay, yeah,
- 8:38Speaker 2: most of them have a gym. Socians to the folder
- 8:40Speaker 2: and which it's like open it up, it's like entry
- 8:43Speaker 2: fee eighty thousand dollars and then it's and then it's
- 8:48Speaker 2: pay the four hundred and fifty a month or whatever
- 8:51Speaker 2: it is, and there's a minimum you have to spend
- 8:53Speaker 2: on food or they just take it out. Yeah, it's
- 8:57Speaker 2: crazy and I'm not at a place where I'm going, Nah,
- 9:02Speaker 2: this ain't for us. I'm like, oh, that's a healthy number,
- 9:06Speaker 2: but I want to do it. I can afford it,
- 9:09Speaker 2: so let's go. And I'm like okay, cool, So when
- 9:12Speaker 2: can we join. She's like, oh, by the way, I
- 9:13Speaker 2: forget to tell you, there's a year and a half
- 9:15Speaker 2: wait to play golf. And I'm like, oh my god,
- 9:17Speaker 2: oh my god, I just did this for almost two hours,
- 9:19Speaker 2: and you knew the one reason I wanted to join
- 9:21Speaker 2: was and you, Oh my god, it was the biggest
- 9:24Speaker 2: trap I've ever been in. I couldn't believe it. A
- 9:29Speaker 2: year and a half way to play golf. Apparently during
- 9:31Speaker 2: the pandemic, everybody wanted to play golf. They started trying
- 9:33Speaker 2: to join clubs, and we're still not to everybody's on
- 9:35Speaker 2: a wait list. There are clubs that and you can
- 9:38Speaker 2: be like, oh, rich person problems. I'm just coming off
- 9:40Speaker 2: the Jim Nance story and yeah true. Also I'll also
- 9:43Speaker 2: agree to that. Yeah it is that it's not even
- 9:45Speaker 2: a problem. But so they were like no, no, no,
- 9:49Speaker 2: that's other thing. So I I'm still I just want
- 9:55Speaker 2: to be a member of a club. And also I'm
- 9:56Speaker 2: just being very honest with everybody. Listen to this. I
- 9:59Speaker 2: can't act like I'm po or anymore cause not. But
- 10:02Speaker 2: and I always would want to know, like, what's what happens?
- 10:05Speaker 2: How do you do that? I want to go to
- 10:06Speaker 2: people's houses and knock on the door that are huge
- 10:08Speaker 2: and be like, for real, how did you make the money?
- 10:11Speaker 2: What do you do to have this house? Yeah? That
- 10:14Speaker 2: to me like how does that money? I know, how
- 10:16Speaker 2: Y goat my money? But how does that money even exist?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Do people do that? And so finally find a club
- 10:22Speaker 2: true story, Finally found a club that was close that
- 10:25Speaker 2: I liked, wasn't as expensive. All good, All good? And
- 10:30Speaker 2: I go and I play, and I don't really go
- 10:32Speaker 2: and meet people or make friends because I don't go
- 10:35Speaker 2: to the social stuff because mostly it turns into me
- 10:39Speaker 2: have you know, going If me and my wife are
- 10:41Speaker 2: gonna hang out, then this is people taking pictures. And
- 10:43Speaker 2: that's fine, but I don't want to go to that.
- 10:46Speaker 2: If it's like a meet and greet, I'm happy to
- 10:48Speaker 2: do a meet and greet. I'm happy to say how
- 10:49Speaker 2: to people randomly, But when it turns into like twenty
- 10:51Speaker 2: five or thirty minutes, and if my wife and I
- 10:55Speaker 2: are doing something out and about, that takes a lot
- 10:57Speaker 2: of time away from if we're purposefully doing something together.
- 11:00Speaker 2: So I don't do a lot of social sort of
- 11:02Speaker 2: know a lot of people there, but I would take
- 11:04Speaker 2: my friends and I would like read would go and
- 11:07Speaker 2: we play golf there a little bit, and Eddie and
- 11:10Speaker 2: so and I have to pay for non members to
- 11:15Speaker 2: come and play with me, but that's fine, right, We're
- 11:17Speaker 2: killing it. And I'm like, finally I got a club.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I can just go play golf at any time. My
- 11:21Speaker 2: wife and I can go have dinner. There's six different
- 11:25Speaker 2: reasons that it's cool, a little expensive, like it's not
- 11:28Speaker 2: a good way to spend your money if you're cutting
- 11:32Speaker 2: it close like you need. If we didn't have to
- 11:34Speaker 2: spend a month it spends the only time, I just
- 11:36Speaker 2: wouldn't do it. And so I'm like getting to the groove.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I've actually met a couple of people there that I'm like, okay, cool.
- 11:42Speaker 2: And then we get the email, Hey, we're shutting the
- 11:44Speaker 2: golf course down for a year. We have to tear
- 11:45Speaker 2: it up, and we're you building a new one. So
- 11:47Speaker 2: I don't have I haven't I'm still paying dues, no
- 11:50Speaker 2: golf course you have to pay still, Oh yeah, they
- 11:53Speaker 2: got to build a golf course with something. So after
- 11:55Speaker 2: all of that, me joining playing golf there for like
- 12:01Speaker 2: a year, nine months a year, they tore the golf course.
- 12:05Speaker 2: You can't get on you it's completely shut down.
- 12:08Speaker 3: But you can do everything else with the membership. You
- 12:11Speaker 3: just can't play golf.
- 12:12Speaker 2: My club does not have a tennis court, okay, and
- 12:15Speaker 2: my wife like to play tennis. I'm like, sorry, it
- 12:17Speaker 2: wasn't it, so we don't. Yeah, I don't even go.
- 12:21Speaker 2: So it's dead. The club is dead.
- 12:23Speaker 3: So now that money is used for their construction. Yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 3: for a year.
- 12:28Speaker 2: He's unbelievable. It's the stupidest thing ever happened to me.
- 12:31Speaker 2: But imagine if you were a club and they said, no,
- 12:33Speaker 2: we weren't gonna let Jim Nance be in. That's crazy. Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 2: that's pretty crazy. Now that being said, I will get
- 12:37Speaker 2: too my Jim Nance story because I've been nervous to
- 12:41Speaker 2: text Jim Nance because he's freaking Jim Nance. That's the
- 12:47Speaker 2: only reason, and that's the only reason why you let
- 12:49Speaker 2: him in that golf course. Yeah yeah, and so I
- 12:54Speaker 2: if you missed the early version of the story. I
- 12:57Speaker 2: wanted to get Jim Nance and management management. But then
- 13:02Speaker 2: my guy Tom texted me Jim Nance's cell phone number.
- 13:06Speaker 2: He says, this is jim Nance number. He said, just
- 13:07Speaker 2: call him here remembers different pebble. So just call him
- 13:10Speaker 2: or text him and say what's up? Set it up?
- 13:12Speaker 2: And I'm like, okay. Then I'm like, no way, I don't.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I don't know what to even do or say. It's
- 13:18Speaker 2: like I'm in ninth grade and the scene the hotty
- 13:20Speaker 2: that's a senior. It's just going, yeah, text me, we'll
- 13:25Speaker 2: see what's up. And I'm like, no way, I can't
- 13:26Speaker 2: do that. I don't have those kind of balls like you.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Sure.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Really? So this weekend I was shooting a show, a
- 13:34Speaker 2: new show that I'm doing, just ad a couple of
- 13:37Speaker 2: days of it, and I was there with tom My manager,
- 13:40Speaker 2: who's there just to make sure everything's going all right,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and he says he texted him Nancy yet I said,
- 13:44Speaker 2: I haven't. He said, well, it's been two three weeks.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Why don't you text him. I was like, I don't
- 13:48Speaker 2: know what to say, and he's like, just text him.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I said, okay, so the blue is what I'm not
- 13:53Speaker 2: gonna I'll read it to you. But that's how much
- 13:55Speaker 2: I text him. Nice one two three, four, five, six, seven, eight, twelve,
- 14:00Speaker 2: thirty fourteen. All in all, it's fifteen lines. Hey, on
- 14:04Speaker 2: the surface, How does that feel.
- 14:07Speaker 3: On the surface? I would say, you really were thinking
- 14:12Speaker 3: about this for sure? And do you feel like that
- 14:15Speaker 3: this amount of blue is stalkery blue? No, because if
- 14:18Speaker 3: I know you, if it was maybe somebody else that
- 14:21Speaker 3: I know, but I've known you, it's all well thought
- 14:23Speaker 3: out and planned and put together very nicely.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Mike, what do you think is that stockery amount of
- 14:28Speaker 2: blue for a first set? That's a girthy text message.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Girthy's a good word for it. Would you like to
- 14:33Speaker 2: hear what I sent Jim Nance? I would love to
- 14:35Speaker 2: hear it. And you can tell me if I'm scared
- 14:41Speaker 2: a little over zealous, whatever the word you would like
- 14:44Speaker 2: to say about this, I welcome it. Take the shots
- 14:46Speaker 2: if you need to. Hey, Jim, Now, would you have
- 14:50Speaker 2: led it with Jick, hey Jim? Or would just say
- 14:52Speaker 2: hey mister Nance or hey Jim Nance? Like that's a
- 14:54Speaker 2: debate I had, so I go, hey Jim, Hey Jim Nance,
- 14:57Speaker 2: Hey mister Nance, Hey jm I don't know what would
- 15:00Speaker 2: you have led with Jim? Hey Jim, Hey Jim? Mike Hey, Jim. Okay,
- 15:03Speaker 2: so far good. I'm on for one baby. Hey Jim,
- 15:09Speaker 2: Bobby bones here in Nashville. We met at the Pebble
- 15:12Speaker 2: pro am. Just wanted to say hello, we actually have
- 15:16Speaker 2: a friend who looked at a house right next to
- 15:18Speaker 2: you in town. They said, Jim Nantz lives right there.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I thought that was pretty cool. Welcome to town. Would
- 15:24Speaker 2: love to have you come up on the radio and
- 15:26Speaker 2: sports radio show when you're in town, or just grab
- 15:29Speaker 2: some dinner sometime if you need friends here laughing emoji.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Hope you're well, Bobby. That was great.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I like it. Very subtle, very subtle, right, Let
- 15:41Speaker 4: mean go for the date. And I didn't just want
- 15:43Speaker 4: to be like I only want to use you. I
- 15:47Speaker 4: don't want to just use you for your nanciness.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I want you just come in. But if you want
- 15:51Speaker 2: to hang out, that would be I mean, that's the
- 15:53Speaker 2: ultimate goals. Go to dinner with Jim Nance. Oh my god.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I just kind of floated it out there and I
- 15:57Speaker 2: was like, hey, yeah, come up and or just gotta
- 16:00Speaker 2: dinner sometime if you need to. I'd be like, that's fine,
- 16:02Speaker 2: And then I used it laughing emoji. Wait. Think he's
- 16:06Speaker 2: like sixty right, Yeah, you gotta throw that in there though.
- 16:08Speaker 2: That's okay my car is that two?
- 16:10Speaker 1: No?
- 16:10Speaker 2: I like it okay? And I said, hope you're well,
- 16:13Speaker 2: and I even did you You're right? Why o you
- 16:15Speaker 2: a Pashapari? That's good because the worst is when you
- 16:18Speaker 2: accidentally do it wrong and you have to send a
- 16:19Speaker 2: message that corrects it, because you just don't want them
- 16:21Speaker 2: thinking you're an idiot, even though the probably wouldn't think
- 16:23Speaker 2: youre an idiot because they've also type out it a lot,
- 16:25Speaker 2: but you just can't let that live. Yes, So so
- 16:28Speaker 2: I hope you will, Bobby. And I sent that on
- 16:31Speaker 2: Saturday at one twenty eight pm, and then I waited
- 16:36Speaker 2: Saturday day, Saturday night came and I'm like, is Jim
- 16:43Speaker 2: NaN's gonna respond? Did I get Jim Nanz's burner phone?
- 16:47Speaker 2: Is that even Jim Nance's number at all? Let me
- 16:49Speaker 2: go look and make sure that that was the right number.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And I'll checked out yesterday four seventeen pm, twenty seven
- 16:58Speaker 2: hours later. So I was not high on Jim Nance's
- 17:04Speaker 2: priority list. But he did text me back, and this
- 17:06Speaker 2: is the amount he texted me back. Oh wow, he
- 17:08Speaker 2: matched you almost almost? Yeah, now I'm gonna be careful
- 17:12Speaker 2: with what I'm saying because I don't want to reveal
- 17:13Speaker 2: anything that he wouldn't want me to reveal. But I
- 17:15Speaker 2: can still give you the gust of it. And he
- 17:16Speaker 2: didn't say anything crazy, Bobby. Great to meet you at
- 17:19Speaker 2: Pebble Beach. I am blankety blankety blankety blank until June.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I would love to join you on the show when
- 17:28Speaker 2: I'm back in August, September, October. It's a super Bowl
- 17:32Speaker 2: season for us coming up on CBS. We could talk
- 17:34Speaker 2: about the NFL. Let's do in the fall. Let's circle
- 17:37Speaker 2: back on this. It'll be an honor. Great looking golf swing,
- 17:39Speaker 2: by the way, j N Dang gave you talking point,
- 17:44Speaker 2: Hey and co. Yeah, golf swing too. And then I said,
- 17:48Speaker 2: love it, see you on the other side. I replied,
- 17:51Speaker 2: like one minute later, I don't want you nance wondering
- 17:54Speaker 2: if I like caring. So that's what I said, love it.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I'll see on the other side. And that was where
- 17:58Speaker 2: we left it. So it's been cool to have him
- 18:01Speaker 2: in here today. Yeah, but he's ready to go, and
- 18:07Speaker 2: he's we already warmed him up, and it's not it's
- 18:09Speaker 2: me hitting him up. Hey, just following up on this,
- 18:11Speaker 2: you said this, let's do it. How cool will it
- 18:14Speaker 2: be to have Jim Nance in here in the fall,
- 18:16Speaker 2: especially during football season. We'll have to get Eddie back
- 18:21Speaker 2: for that. Oh yeah, I have to bring him out
- 18:23Speaker 2: of retirement.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:25Speaker 2: So that's the Jim Nance story the golf club my situation,
- 18:31Speaker 2: and it ends with a text from Jim NANTZ like it.
- 18:33Speaker 2: It's a heck of a story, boys, just in general,
- 18:35Speaker 2: that story took twenty minutes. I did not know that long.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Did you type some out in your nose before you
- 18:40Speaker 3: send this on the No?
- 18:41Speaker 2: No, no, no, like four different I'm not crazy, as
- 18:45Speaker 2: I tell you. I waited three weeks and actually push it. No,
- 18:48Speaker 2: I just wrote and sent it. No reason I wrote
- 18:50Speaker 2: incentive is because Tom was with me and he goes, dude,
- 18:52Speaker 2: I didn't track him manager his manager down and get
- 18:54Speaker 2: the number for you did not send a text, right,
- 18:56Speaker 2: And I was like, that's that's true. That's true. So
- 18:58Speaker 2: Jim Nance this fall hopefully in the studio, let's do
- 19:03Speaker 2: it that It was pretty cool. Well, there's a lot
- 19:06Speaker 2: of playoff steps to talk about. And I spent all
- 19:09Speaker 2: day Saturday and Sunday had two h really long television
- 19:15Speaker 2: shoot days, so like double digit hours each day, so
- 19:18Speaker 2: I was not able to watch a full game of anything.
- 19:21Speaker 2: But I watched some of all of them, and then
- 19:25Speaker 2: went back and watched a bunch of the highlights too.
- 19:27Speaker 2: So just know that I didn't get to watch any
- 19:29Speaker 2: of them, although I did watch almost a whole Thunder
- 19:31Speaker 2: game when they lost. And it's Thunder in Minnesota Friday, yeah, Friday, Yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 2: and so but many I love the Thunder. I like
- 19:39Speaker 2: the Thunder anyway because Jayla Williams plays for them, my
- 19:43Speaker 2: Arkansas Jaylen Williams also Jayla Williams lead ja L I
- 19:49Speaker 2: don't know. Yeah, j Y is the guy that I
- 19:51Speaker 2: know and did nil with at Arkansas who's from Arkansas,
- 19:54Speaker 2: and so we got drafted the early second round. My
- 19:56Speaker 2: wife's a massive Thunder fan, and that's who we watched
- 19:59Speaker 2: a lot on in Sunday ticket is that we watch
- 20:02Speaker 2: him and we watch the Thunder, and so they're big
- 20:04Speaker 2: Thunder family. So I've come through just hanging out proximity
- 20:09Speaker 2: a Thunder fan for the last few years. They're they're
- 20:11Speaker 2: gonna be so good. Yeah, they're the second youngest team
- 20:15Speaker 2: in NBA history history, like to maybe like to have
- 20:20Speaker 2: a winning record or maybe ever, Mike, we looked that up. Yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but they're like the second maybe ever period the second
- 20:27Speaker 2: overall youngest team and they average like twenty one years
- 20:31Speaker 2: old or something. Wild. They have fifteen number one picks
- 20:33Speaker 2: in the next five years, fifteen first round.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so I watched them lose, and yeah, they're average
- 20:41Speaker 2: age is twenty two point five years and what does
- 20:43Speaker 2: it say? Does it say? It's like they're like the
- 20:45Speaker 2: second youngest ever, the youngest team in basketball history. Oh,
- 20:48Speaker 2: maybe they're the youngest. Wow, so they're super young. They're
- 20:52Speaker 2: gonna get a check back next year. Not that he's
- 20:54Speaker 2: gonna come in and set the world on firefire, but
- 20:58Speaker 2: he's had a year to grow up be around the NBA,
- 21:01Speaker 2: which would have been different had he just kept boom
- 21:03Speaker 2: dunked into it this year. Yeah, so wet I watch
- 21:06Speaker 2: Thunder lose. That game was not really a game they
- 21:09Speaker 2: were ever going to win. They had closed the gap
- 21:11Speaker 2: to like five or six at one point, and then
- 21:14Speaker 2: Minnesota just kind of ran away with it. They just
- 21:16Speaker 2: weren't missing. Minnesota just wasn't missing. Nobody was missing. They
- 21:20Speaker 2: were shooting threes like crazy. If it wasn't Karl Anthony Towns.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I mean, you gave somebody the ball. They were just
- 21:29Speaker 2: gonna anyway. I watched that super happy with the thunder
- 21:32Speaker 2: how that ended. But then Minnesota goes in and I'm
- 21:35Speaker 2: just thinking to myself even before it starts, they gotta
- 21:37Speaker 2: be tired, yah, because they had They lost in overtime. Yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 2: let me get this order. They lost, then they won,
- 21:46Speaker 2: then they won again. They had to play three games, right,
- 21:49Speaker 2: two to get in? Was it just too yeah? So
- 21:51Speaker 2: they lost and then as the loser, are you sure?
- 21:56Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:56Speaker 3: Then they had to play the winner of OKC and
- 21:59Speaker 3: whoever Hoky he beat last week?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Were they that? I don't want to get into the
- 22:03Speaker 2: weeds here, it doesn't matter, but I just thought, man,
- 22:07Speaker 2: they got to be tired. Even two games is more
- 22:10Speaker 2: than any these other Jabronis had to play. So and
- 22:12Speaker 2: we'll get to that, but I go bear listen. I
- 22:18Speaker 2: know they make fun of go Beart and he wasn't
- 22:22Speaker 2: worth all the picks and all the players that they
- 22:24Speaker 2: gave up for him. He played really solid in that
- 22:26Speaker 2: Oklahoma City game, Like defensively, he played well, he made
- 22:30Speaker 2: all his He made like nine of eleven free throws
- 22:34Speaker 2: its wild, ill love everybody go bear. I don't care
- 22:38Speaker 2: anything about him. He didn't play much offense. No, he
- 22:41Speaker 2: did catch an aliup, knock an alleyup from the awkward place,
- 22:44Speaker 2: but he's seven foot whatever. Okay, here we go. My
- 22:47Speaker 2: basketball started with watching that on Friday, and let's go
- 22:50Speaker 2: through some of the games. The Heat beat the Bucks
- 22:52Speaker 2: one thirty one seventeen, and everybody got hurt. Yeah, you
- 22:57Speaker 2: honestly is because of a back issue. He fell and
- 23:00Speaker 2: it happened right, yeah, because I saw him holding his
- 23:04Speaker 2: back and I thought it was when he fell. Tyi
- 23:06Speaker 2: hero broke his hand and then stayed in the game,
- 23:09Speaker 2: ended up making a three with a broken hand. Wild
- 23:12Speaker 2: and then who knows if he's going to be back, Johannis.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I think will be back. He's got to be back.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I don't know if Tyler was going to be back.
- 23:22Speaker 2: He's out for four to six weeks. Oh, I didn't see.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I didn't catch that till him. Was that this morning
- 23:25Speaker 2: that came across. Yeah, yeah, he's out four to six weeks.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Well he's out there. Yeah, yeah, that sucks. Butler had
- 23:32Speaker 2: thirty five points. Jimmy Butler is like playoff buckets.
- 23:36Speaker 3: That's what as a Celtics fan, I did not want
- 23:38Speaker 3: to play them. I'm so glad for playing the Hawks.
- 23:40Speaker 3: I just don't know what the heat.
- 23:41Speaker 2: He was an inch away from beating you guys last year. Yeah,
- 23:44Speaker 2: with that deep threeth into the game. Yeah, Celtics beat
- 23:48Speaker 2: the Hawks, won twelve ninety nine to go up one
- 23:50Speaker 2: to zero. That game was never really in jeopardy. You're
- 23:53Speaker 2: a Celtics fan, had you feel about it? I felt great.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I mean they were up thirty at half. I think
- 23:56Speaker 3: thirty two is the biggest lead. They kind of gave
- 23:58Speaker 3: it up in the second half a little bit, but
- 24:00Speaker 3: it was one of those just basketball teams are gonna
- 24:02Speaker 3: go on the runs, you know, and they close it out,
- 24:03Speaker 3: they'll be fine.
- 24:04Speaker 2: I never felt like, because there were a time when
- 24:06Speaker 2: I was just having to watch the score instead of
- 24:07Speaker 2: the game, I never felt like Atlanta really had the
- 24:10Speaker 2: muscle or the weapons or the consistency to take that
- 24:12Speaker 2: game over. No, Jaylen Brown had twenty nine ten him
- 24:15Speaker 2: at twenty five. That's what's up. That will probably be
- 24:18Speaker 2: a four to one series. If I'm guessing, I would
- 24:22Speaker 2: think Atlanta can squeak one of those games out just
- 24:24Speaker 2: because I think anybody can weak. I think us five
- 24:27Speaker 2: in here could squeak out one game and gets Celtics
- 24:29Speaker 2: in a seven game series. Uh, Sixers beat the Nets
- 24:32Speaker 2: one twenty one to one oh one. You know what
- 24:35Speaker 2: was cool to me? I probably watched two thirds of
- 24:39Speaker 2: this game, was it? Harden looks solid, really good, but
- 24:45Speaker 2: I mean consistent. He's shooting threes, he looks like he's
- 24:49Speaker 2: in shape. He feels dangerous because not only is he
- 24:55Speaker 2: playing well, I mean Embiid had twenty six points or
- 24:59Speaker 2: so two he didn't have to hog it all at
- 25:02Speaker 2: the end of thirteen assists. Harden didn't feel like he
- 25:05Speaker 2: and wasn't trying to score forty. Harden's line was twenty
- 25:08Speaker 2: three thirteen and Embiid had twenty six and five. But
- 25:12Speaker 2: if Harden is playing not super selfish and Embiid's healthy,
- 25:20Speaker 2: the Sixers are a lot more dangerous. I'm basing this
- 25:22Speaker 2: one game Too'm putting it all in the one game,
- 25:24Speaker 2: one game basket now, But watching hard and play kind
- 25:27Speaker 2: of scared me a little bit. For the Celtics, no, none, nope, no,
- 25:31Speaker 2: not at all. Brooklyn. I mean, come on, they're good,
- 25:33Speaker 2: but Brooklyn got pretty good after they made those trades,
- 25:38Speaker 2: Like oddly they became better by subtraction and some of
- 25:41Speaker 2: those new younger guys. But yeah, yeah, I don't think
- 25:44Speaker 2: they're gonna win this. I'm just talking about if we
- 25:46Speaker 2: move ahead, like I think the sixers, if Harden, just
- 25:50Speaker 2: if Harden goes double digit assists, they're gonna be tough
- 25:54Speaker 2: to beat. Yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Well, he's got to say away from those those late
- 25:58Speaker 3: nights and the movie bars yea six or shot twenty
- 26:01Speaker 3: one for forty three.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Uh, as far as three pointers went, I mean fifteen
- 26:04Speaker 2: were uncontested. It feels to me like those uncontested threes
- 26:09Speaker 2: will be pretty hard because they're so open. It's like
- 26:14Speaker 2: if someone said, all right, there's a trash can in
- 26:16Speaker 2: the corner. We're all watching you. No what is in
- 26:19Speaker 2: front of you? Make it with that paper wide you're
- 26:21Speaker 2: just thinking about a little too much. But I guess
- 26:23Speaker 2: they shoot so many it's.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Like a football catch too and a guy's wide open,
- 26:27Speaker 3: and you're almost like, oh.
- 26:28Speaker 2: There's a lot to think of, so much pressure, and
- 26:30Speaker 2: you're thinking about things wide open that you don't think
- 26:32Speaker 2: about whenever someone's at least somewhat coming at you. We're
- 26:34Speaker 2: like kind of get this off, just going straight muscle memory.
- 26:36Speaker 2: There's more to think about where it's like all right,
- 26:39Speaker 2: oh I'm so wide open. Oh god, there's nobody coming.
- 26:41Speaker 2: What what the heck do you want to dry? Do
- 26:42Speaker 2: you want to step forward? So those those uncontesteds, I'm
- 26:46Speaker 2: sure they love them. Nicks beat Cavs one on one
- 26:48Speaker 2: ninety seven. Before the game that they were like Julius
- 26:54Speaker 2: Randall is what's what's level below? Probable? Questionable maybe or
- 27:01Speaker 2: it kept bouncing between people not knowing if he was
- 27:03Speaker 2: going to be able to play or not. And he
- 27:04Speaker 2: did play and he went nineteen and ten and Jalen
- 27:07Speaker 2: Brunson twenty seven points, MAVs, What did you do? What
- 27:14Speaker 2: did you do? What a stud? Josh Ard had seventeen
- 27:18Speaker 2: points that Knicks Cavs series. Though when you asked me,
- 27:21Speaker 2: what's the four or five? I was looking forward to that.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Both of those four or fives to me are extremely interesting.
- 27:26Speaker 2: But this, like, this is the one, and I think
- 27:28Speaker 2: it's going to be a really good series, and I
- 27:29Speaker 2: think whoever comes out of it's going to be so
- 27:30Speaker 2: exhausted because it's probably going to go six or seven
- 27:34Speaker 2: nuggets beat up on the tire Timberwolves one O nine eighty.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Jamal Murray had twenty four Yokush had thirteen, fourteen rebound,
- 27:41Speaker 2: six assists. All we've been talking about the Nuggets all year.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Obviously the number one can they can they win the West?
- 27:50Speaker 2: Yes or no? Yes they can one hundred percent they
- 27:56Speaker 2: do absolutely obviously one percent they don't. Where would you put.
- 27:59Speaker 3: It after weekend one? I will say ninety percent because
- 28:03Speaker 3: the only other one that they're a ninety percent chance
- 28:05Speaker 3: to win the West. I just think it's so wide
- 28:07Speaker 3: open and they have such a good team that after
- 28:10Speaker 3: watching the Suns lose, it's like.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Okay, but it's only one game and it is wide open.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I will agree with that it's so wide open, but
- 28:17Speaker 2: I can't give them ninety percent. That means it's not
- 28:19Speaker 2: wide open. That means they are the team.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I think they're the team to be in the West
- 28:25Speaker 3: as the one seed, and they looked the best. I
- 28:27Speaker 3: know they played a tired Timberwolves team, but still.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Would you So what are you going to commit to
- 28:33Speaker 2: as far as you think comes out of the West.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Let's just commit. Let's do the Nuggets. Okay, let's go
- 28:36Speaker 2: good for you Lakers win Game one for you one
- 28:38Speaker 2: twenty eight, one twelve, And I watched a lot of
- 28:40Speaker 2: this game, and it was closer than that score indicates,
- 28:43Speaker 2: with like four or five minutes left, it was a
- 28:45Speaker 2: four point game. At times, I think it was a
- 28:47Speaker 2: maybe even a two point game with six or seven
- 28:49Speaker 2: minutes left. I was watching on my phone as we
- 28:52Speaker 2: were shooting this. Austin Reebsen, he flexed. Yeah, awesome and hilarious.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Austin rais from Arkansas. Didn't play at the University of Arkansas.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Where did he play? He played it like Wichita State
- 29:03Speaker 2: or something. Yeah, maybe not which'all state? He played it
- 29:05Speaker 2: like Southeast Missouri, Southwest Missouri. Mike, you looked that up
- 29:08Speaker 2: for me. So Austin reached flexen was hilarious and austome.
- 29:14Speaker 2: He played a really great game. He went five to
- 29:16Speaker 2: five and the fourth nine points late twenty three total.
- 29:21Speaker 2: I mean lebron He had it one of those open
- 29:24Speaker 2: threes late in the second half, like wide open. Nobody
- 29:27Speaker 2: was near him and he just dropped it. It's awesome
- 29:30Speaker 2: to see, Mike, what you see Wichita State and then
- 29:32Speaker 2: Oklahoma and so man manstinct was right, that's crazy. So
- 29:36Speaker 2: he's from Arkansas though, right, yep, what town? Let me see.
- 29:41Speaker 2: It just wasn't whoever the coach was there, probably Mike
- 29:43Speaker 2: Anderson at the time, I don't know, didn't recruit him. Dang,
- 29:46Speaker 2: he's Newark, Arkansas. Okay, Kings beat the Warriors one twenty six,
- 29:50Speaker 2: one twenty three, Janner Fox put up almost forty points.
- 29:53Speaker 2: That clip of the kid talking crap to Steph. That
- 29:55Speaker 2: was great. He's like, befoty, hilarious. I know the Kings
- 30:01Speaker 2: beat the Warriors. I get you. It was in Sacramento.
- 30:06Speaker 2: I can't imagine Golden State. Fox had to score almost
- 30:10Speaker 2: forty points for them to win and it was still close.
- 30:12Speaker 2: It was funny. They asked Fox in the postgame. They
- 30:15Speaker 2: were like, what was it like? And I think it
- 30:17Speaker 2: was Deldova who had a clip of him talking about
- 30:20Speaker 2: or somebody was talking about Deldova Garden Steph for a
- 30:22Speaker 2: whole night and he was like, it was awful. I'm dead,
- 30:27Speaker 2: I give everything ahead and I still couldn't do it.
- 30:29Speaker 2: And so I think it was j R. Smith on
- 30:32Speaker 2: TikTok if I'm trying to remember this talking about del Dova. Yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 2: and he was like, I talked to him and he
- 30:36Speaker 2: was like he tried with everything. He was still exhausted.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Steph never stops. I just don't think they can do
- 30:41Speaker 2: that to Steph every game. So but do that all right?
- 30:47Speaker 2: Steph still played fine. I don't know what Steph's line was,
- 30:50Speaker 2: do you, I.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Do not, But he still even had a chance at
- 30:52Speaker 3: the end. He shot at three at the end, barely
- 30:55Speaker 3: missed it.
- 30:56Speaker 2: That kid was funny though. The camera was right on,
- 30:58Speaker 2: right on the back of STEP's head and right on
- 31:00Speaker 2: him talking crap. They should follow that kid and he
- 31:05Speaker 2: should be the guy they put up there, make him
- 31:07Speaker 2: famous for a minute. And if Sacramento loses, well, sucks
- 31:12Speaker 2: for you, kid. And if they win, he should be
- 31:14Speaker 2: the guy we roll with. They got to bring him
- 31:15Speaker 2: courtside again, right, I'm sure he's rich and he can
- 31:18Speaker 2: get courtsida what he got. He had thirty points, six rebounds. Yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 2: that's pretty good. I mean, that's a pretty good night
- 31:25Speaker 2: for Steph. I just don't think they can do that
- 31:29Speaker 2: three more times to Golden State. Uh you know what,
- 31:31Speaker 2: coming out of I should do the Suns. Sons gotta
- 31:34Speaker 2: beat You're right, Yeah, yeah, sounds gotta be all to Clippers.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Do you watch any of that game?
- 31:38Speaker 6: That's the one I watched the least of you know
- 31:40Speaker 6: what I actually watched all.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I watched what.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Three quarters of course the fourth quarter because it got
- 31:46Speaker 3: a little late at that time. But it was a
- 31:48Speaker 3: great game, going back and forth and it was just
- 31:51Speaker 3: Kawhi and Katie kind of going back and forth. I
- 31:53Speaker 3: think Kawhi I want to say I had thirty eight
- 31:54Speaker 3: points or so. Kawhi is like mister load management during
- 31:57Speaker 3: the season. But it's easy to forget about Kawhi one
- 32:01Speaker 3: because he plays for the Clippers. The second famous of
- 32:03Speaker 3: the LA teams two is quiet, so there's not really
- 32:06Speaker 3: a lot about him as far as making the news
- 32:10Speaker 3: or making the pop culture NBA news because.
- 32:13Speaker 2: He does his own thing. But you just you can't
- 32:16Speaker 2: sleep on Kauiet. But you have to watch him really
- 32:19Speaker 2: playing at his prime again to remember that.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I know, and it wasn't even that long ago in
- 32:23Speaker 3: nineteen when he had that run. But with Paul George,
- 32:25Speaker 3: he has to do more and he looked he was
- 32:26Speaker 3: the best player in the floor last night.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Paul George he's not playing though. The rest is that
- 32:30Speaker 2: he's out for the series. He's done yep. For the series.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I just still and again, I don't watch much. This
- 32:36Speaker 2: is the game I watched Lee stuff. What was the
- 32:38Speaker 2: deal with Kdie? He was very cold at first. He
- 32:42Speaker 2: was shooting.
- 32:42Speaker 3: They were getting to him a little bit, but he
- 32:44Speaker 3: just couldn't hit anything. In the beginning, he had twenty seven.
- 32:46Speaker 3: He finished with twenty seven, so he still had his points,
- 32:48Speaker 3: but they just kind of looked out of sync and
- 32:49Speaker 3: the Clippers were all over him. Clippers looked like they
- 32:51Speaker 3: were playing harder, faster, they wanted it more.
- 32:54Speaker 2: You know that old saying, Oh yeah, I hate that
- 32:57Speaker 2: old said. So he's not gonna come. It's it's a
- 33:01Speaker 2: it's a knee thing. Right as far as Paul George
- 33:03Speaker 2: is not messing with yes man. When it comes to
- 33:10Speaker 2: Kevin Durant, I just don't. He doesn't stay cold. And
- 33:13Speaker 2: if Durant's hot, this spacing on the floor opens up.
- 33:17Speaker 2: They gotta pay more attention to him, which gives Booker
- 33:19Speaker 2: more room, which gives eight and more space, which gives
- 33:24Speaker 2: Chris Paul more space to actually put the ball in places.
- 33:27Speaker 2: For those guys, I'm still I'm wrong. I'm going, Oh god,
- 33:31Speaker 2: I'll pick the Lakers. I'm gonna go with the Lakers
- 33:33Speaker 2: from the West. Still, I'm not going to back out
- 33:34Speaker 2: of that just because you're gonna go with Denver. I'll
- 33:38Speaker 2: go with the Lakers. And I don't want any of
- 33:41Speaker 2: the thing where I cheat. But I think we both
- 33:43Speaker 2: wouldn't be surprised if the Suns want it. Yeah, because
- 33:45Speaker 2: vegass not that Vegas has the I think the Suns
- 33:49Speaker 2: is a West favor, right West favorite. Yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh they I mean even the Clippers, they
- 33:54Speaker 3: played as well as they couldn't, they still only won
- 33:55Speaker 3: by five.
- 33:56Speaker 2: So it took everything to had. It's NBA Playoffs time,

- 35:02Speaker 2: See show notes for full details. You know, I had
- 35:05Speaker 2: planned that we do a shorter episode today. I told Mike.
- 35:08Speaker 2: This amount happened to I'm like, we may just get
- 35:10Speaker 2: into it and feel like we're so into it that
- 35:12Speaker 2: we're just gonna keep rolling. We were gonna do a
- 35:14Speaker 2: very short win just on the playoffs, but I got
- 35:15Speaker 2: onto Jim Nantz and then we got into the playoffs,
- 35:18Speaker 2: and before you know it, we're forty minutes in already,
- 35:21Speaker 2: which is fine by me because I got NFL stuff
- 35:23Speaker 2: to talk about. Mm hmm. I'll just need that other
- 35:26Speaker 2: DraftKings read do we have it? You have it? Okay? Cool,
- 35:29Speaker 2: we'll get in a second. So the commanders that sell
- 35:32Speaker 2: us not finalized. How many times does that tell us
- 35:34Speaker 2: the team is sold? And this team's not sold. I
- 35:36Speaker 2: feel like Dance Nyder doesn't really want to sell the team.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I know he doesn't want to sell the team, but
- 35:39Speaker 2: I feel like he's not going to sell the team.
- 35:41Speaker 2: This is all going to be some trick. Maggic Johnson's
- 35:44Speaker 2: part of the team with the seventy six ers owner.
- 35:47Speaker 2: I believe they put in the six billion dollar offer
- 35:50Speaker 2: and we're like, okay, let's go sell the team, Dance Nyder.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Give Commander Fans a chance to have a team that wins.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Give Commander Fans a chance to have a team without
- 36:01Speaker 2: an owner that's making the news for being a creep.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Give Commander Fans a reason to root for an organization
- 36:12Speaker 2: that will have a better mascot. Remember when they put
- 36:15Speaker 2: out that little and listen the Arkansas Razorbacks. They are
- 36:19Speaker 2: the Hogs, but they have a little hog guy that's
- 36:20Speaker 2: like the commander's mascot. Yeah, I think stupid.
- 36:27Speaker 3: And wasn't that only popular back in like the late
- 36:29Speaker 3: eighties or early nineties when they had the Hogs?
- 36:31Speaker 2: Well they should I thought if they'd have been like
- 36:34Speaker 2: the Washington Hogs, I thought that had been a cooler name.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Commanders too generic for me. It is what it is now.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Commanders what does that even mean? Commander of what? What
- 36:44Speaker 2: do you commanding? What are you commanding? Football?
- 36:46Speaker 6: Douche ness, Dan Snyder, you commander douchey? The inability to
- 36:50Speaker 6: sell your team, yes, or to get a quarterback, or
- 36:53Speaker 6: to spend money. So that's what's up. But really, here's
- 36:57Speaker 6: what happened. Multiple reports team was going to sell to
- 37:01Speaker 6: the Josh Harris Group for six billion, but now there's
- 37:03Speaker 6: a seven billion dollar cash offer on the table from
- 37:06Speaker 6: DC native Brian Davis. If that ends up happening, Davis
- 37:09Speaker 6: would be the first black owner in the NFL. Reports
- 37:12Speaker 6: say that if approved, Davis would also be willing to
- 37:18Speaker 6: take on any legal liability related to Snyder and ongoing
- 37:21Speaker 6: investigations into the team. Boy, that Alon would probably get
- 37:25Speaker 6: me to sell it if I was in a bunch
- 37:26Speaker 6: of I don't yeah, like, how do.
- 37:27Speaker 2: You do that? Like it'd be cool if it's like, yeah,
- 37:30Speaker 2: I robbed a bank and uh, I'm going to trial
- 37:33Speaker 2: for it. But I'm selling my house and you want
- 37:36Speaker 2: to buy my house. But will you also go to
- 37:38Speaker 2: court and you should be up for it for the
- 37:39Speaker 2: bank robbery? You will, I'll sell you the house, buddy,
- 37:43Speaker 2: I'd sell in the house for cheaper. Yeah, So that situation.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Reports say Davis will pay Snyder one billion in the
- 37:48Speaker 2: first twenty four hours, in the next six billion within
- 37:52Speaker 2: seven days. And that's all just this is just computer numbers.
- 37:55Speaker 2: It's not like I would also demand that a come
- 37:57Speaker 2: in cash, bring it in rolling in Willebarrow's. I want
- 38:00Speaker 2: to see them money. I want to see them more
- 38:03Speaker 2: seven billion dollars in cash. Wild Let's do injury updates
- 38:07Speaker 2: real quick from NBA, And then I want to talk
- 38:09Speaker 2: about Jalen Hurts because I know you guys a news
- 38:11Speaker 2: over there about him resigning or signing or not signing
- 38:13Speaker 2: Jannis left Game one on Sunday. He drove to the basket,
- 38:16Speaker 2: he fell hard. He came back in the game for
- 38:18Speaker 2: about a minute, but did not return. X rays were negative.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Bucks coach said there was an X ray that was clear.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Here.
- 38:25Speaker 2: They're going to monitor him. I think he'll be what
- 38:27Speaker 2: do I know? I am a doctor. That's true. Yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 2: it just not in that. That's not a special We're
- 38:31Speaker 2: working on it. Yeah. Game two of the series Wednesday
- 38:34Speaker 2: in Milwaukee, and the Bucks will hope the two time
- 38:36Speaker 2: MVP is feeling better than Tali Hero broke his hand.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Eric Spolstra did not offer a whole bunch of the postgame.
- 38:42Speaker 2: But how you really aren't going to know a whole
- 38:44Speaker 2: lot postgame. He had this injury and you have said
- 38:48Speaker 2: now that's been updated, it's four to six weeks. Yep.
- 38:50Speaker 2: So he will not play again this year. Paul George
- 38:53Speaker 2: not going to play against Suns. All serious brain right knee.
- 38:56Speaker 2: George averaged almost twenty four points per game in the
- 39:00Speaker 2: Slippers in what the almost sixty games that he played.
- 39:03Speaker 2: John Morant, listen, Memphis is done too if they don't
- 39:06Speaker 2: have jaw done. Yeah. Yeah, so he left. It was
- 39:11Speaker 2: late when he left, I don't know, midway through the
- 39:14Speaker 2: fourth and he had a hand injury because he tried
- 39:17Speaker 2: to dunk it and he came down kind of weird.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Am I remembering this right? He already had it wrapped,
- 39:22Speaker 2: got it. His X rays came back negative. They're evaluating
- 39:24Speaker 2: his hand and wrist. I saw so many jokes on
- 39:27Speaker 2: Twitter what his gun hand? I didn't say that. I
- 39:32Speaker 2: didn't know in my joke. I just saw so many
- 39:35Speaker 2: jokes that people like which he was it was his
- 39:36Speaker 2: gun hand or was a morient express concerns about his
- 39:39Speaker 2: availability for Game two. He went on to say that
- 39:42Speaker 2: his pain threshold and his ability to use his right
- 39:44Speaker 2: hand would determine his availability for Wednesday's game. But that sucks.
- 39:47Speaker 2: You know. What also scared me a little bit was
- 39:49Speaker 2: Anthony Davis because he's always hurt. Yeah, but there was
- 39:53Speaker 2: one point where something happened and you can read his
- 39:55Speaker 2: lips and he goes, I can't folm a arm. Yeah
- 39:58Speaker 2: do you see that? Yeah?
- 39:59Speaker 3: I couldn't tell it. Yes, that's what he said. I
- 40:00Speaker 3: feel like that's what he said.
- 40:01Speaker 2: And then he went out and he could have just
- 40:03Speaker 2: had like an NFL you get a stinger on your shoulder.
- 40:06Speaker 2: That could have been it. I don't feel like that's
- 40:07Speaker 2: the long term thing, or it would have been in
- 40:09Speaker 2: what we're reading now. But he did go I can't
- 40:12Speaker 2: film my arm, and I was like, oh crap, here
- 40:14Speaker 2: we go a get there we go. The freaking Lakers
- 40:16Speaker 2: Anthony Davis hurt because you know, at some point eighty
- 40:19Speaker 2: or Lebron's going to miss a couple games. And that's
- 40:22Speaker 2: okay because I think they have the guys to maybe
- 40:25Speaker 2: win one of two, especially in this series. If somebody
- 40:29Speaker 2: goes down, but they can't miss four or five. They
- 40:32Speaker 2: can't miss a whole series. No, because both of those
- 40:36Speaker 2: guys are rarely on, but one of them usually if
- 40:39Speaker 2: they're both healthy, is always on.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and they can't expect well. Reeves is pretty good.
- 40:43Speaker 3: But even Ruiy like the game he had, was like wow, really, yeah,
- 40:47Speaker 3: he's having this kind of game.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Hey, they're stepping up. I love to see it. A
- 40:49Speaker 2: reminder twenty five whistles brought to you by Draft Kings
- 40:51Speaker 2: Sports book download the DraftKings app. Used to go Bobby
- 40:53Speaker 2: Sports to get in on the action and if I
- 40:57Speaker 2: were parlay in a game too. There are a couple
- 40:59Speaker 2: things that I think I would do. I'm just gonna
- 41:01Speaker 2: go all money lines here because a lot of those
- 41:04Speaker 2: games too, were on the road. The road teams were winning, yeah,
- 41:07Speaker 2: which is crazy, I think Sunday, I think all the
- 41:10Speaker 2: home teams lost. I don't know. I don't know. I'd
- 41:13Speaker 2: need to look back, but definitely possible. So I would
- 41:17Speaker 2: go here my winners. Golden State wents for sure, Phoenix
- 41:21Speaker 2: wins for sure. I don't even know what the lines
- 41:24Speaker 2: are on those games. Golden State wents for sure, Phoenix
- 41:27Speaker 2: wins for sure, Boston wins again for sure. So that's
- 41:31Speaker 2: my parlay. And if you could pull out the lines,
- 41:34Speaker 2: I guess I'll listen to them. But I just like
- 41:36Speaker 2: the money liners because I always lose at the end
- 41:38Speaker 2: on these NBA. If I'm trying to chase a spread.
- 41:41Speaker 2: What do you got Golden State one and a half
- 41:43Speaker 2: minus one and a half. Okay, I'll just take the
- 41:46Speaker 2: money line on that. And you said, I screw it,
- 41:49Speaker 2: Golden State minus one and a half. Put that down.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Let's make our odds a little better.
- 41:54Speaker 3: The Suns Phoenix, even after losing, are still seven and
- 41:57Speaker 3: a half point.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Favorites that money line. It app and then seals thir
- 42:01Speaker 2: ten money line.
- 42:02Speaker 5: It.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna add the Lakers to that too,
- 42:06Speaker 2: especially if jaws out. What's that spread, it's got to
- 42:10Speaker 2: be like six or seven. Huh Memphis still minus one
- 42:15Speaker 2: and a half. What okay? Put the Lakers in there too,
- 42:19Speaker 2: money line. Those are my four mic So you want
- 42:22Speaker 2: to bet this, you're going to count your smiles. I
- 42:24Speaker 2: feel pretty good about these, So we're gonna go. Lakers
- 42:28Speaker 2: a winner, Sun's a winner, Gold State a winner, Boston
- 42:34Speaker 2: a winner. Now, if you're not feeling really randy like
- 42:36Speaker 2: I am, drop that Lakers one. I'm bullish on the Lakers, though.
- 42:39Speaker 2: If you're not bullish on the Lakers, don't bet the
- 42:41Speaker 2: Lakers one. But for my part, my four gamer money line.
- 42:43Speaker 2: That's it right there. If you want to take twenty
- 42:45Speaker 2: five whistles parlay a twenty five whistles parlay, you can
- 42:47Speaker 2: check out Draftking Sportsbook. New users use the co Bobby
- 42:49Speaker 2: Sports when you download the app twenty one and up.

- 43:01Speaker 2: See show notes for full details. Kevin, coming over to you.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Tell me about Jalen Hurts.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts and the Eagles have agreed to a contract
- 43:11Speaker 3: extension for five years two hundred and fifty five million dollars,
- 43:14Speaker 3: including one hundred and seventy nine million guaranteed.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Hey, good deal. Here's what I like about that. Jalen
- 43:20Speaker 2: Hurts in demand all guaranteed money. So it's almost resetting
- 43:24Speaker 2: that precedent that Deshaun Watson that rumored Lamar Jackson. So
- 43:32Speaker 2: that's a lot of money. And Jalen Hurts. Think about
- 43:35Speaker 2: this guy goes into Alabama, King Danelan gets binched or
- 43:39Speaker 2: Tua sits as a backup, transfers to Oklahoma, plays wonderfully there.
- 43:47Speaker 2: But it's not that anybody thinks he's going to be
- 43:50Speaker 2: the super Philadelphia has to run him out of town.
- 43:53Speaker 2: They don't want him as a starter. Crazy and here
- 43:57Speaker 2: he is. He has a two hundred FIFTI million dollar extension.
- 44:03Speaker 2: His extension You say, no trade class first time Eagles
- 44:05Speaker 2: have ever done in the history of their team. Wild
- 44:08Speaker 2: Good for him, Yeah, highest Paed quarterbacks in the NFL
- 44:11Speaker 2: average money per year at number seven, there is a
- 44:13Speaker 2: tie Daniel Jones, Matthew Stafford, and Dak Prescott, which one
- 44:18Speaker 2: of those doesn't belong.
- 44:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with the Daniel Jones and not that
- 44:24Speaker 3: Dak Prescott has done true, but the difference is Dak
- 44:27Speaker 3: has at least been a starter for longer.
- 44:31Speaker 2: I feel like Dak is still a bit different than
- 44:33Speaker 2: Daniel Jones. I think he's proved that he can be
- 44:36Speaker 2: consistently good. I like Daniel Jones, but he's had a
- 44:39Speaker 2: one year and his contract and that was Remember they
- 44:43Speaker 2: didn't take his fifth year option. They said we're good. Now.
- 44:48Speaker 2: It wasn't Dayball and his staff, but they were like,
- 44:50Speaker 2: we're good. We ain't gonna take his fifth year option.
- 44:52Speaker 2: So that means Daniel Jones free agent gets forty million bucks. Awesome.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Good for him. Yeah, gonna hate anybody for making money.
- 45:01Speaker 2: These owners are making so much money. You get what
- 45:03Speaker 2: you can get. Always get what you can get in
- 45:05Speaker 2: your career. It's not the rest of your life. And
- 45:07Speaker 2: we're talking about money. Just so much money, it's not
- 45:10Speaker 2: gonna matter. But I never will fall anybody ever for
- 45:14Speaker 2: getting as much as they can get, especially when you're
- 45:17Speaker 2: making it or you have the ability to make it
- 45:19Speaker 2: for other people, like these owners are making a ton
- 45:21Speaker 2: of money. You gotta have a good quarterback. If he
- 45:23Speaker 2: plays pretty well, he's gonna be absolutely worth that. Yeah,
- 45:27Speaker 2: those three tied seven at forty million bucks, Josh Allen
- 45:30Speaker 2: six at forty three million. And then what happens is
- 45:35Speaker 2: the newer the quarterback deal. Usually it jumps over the
- 45:39Speaker 2: top of everybody else. It's just like it's a ladder.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Next person goes up, next person goes up. Patrick Mahomes
- 45:44Speaker 2: when he signed his like thirty two year deal, Yeah,
- 45:47Speaker 2: you're like, man, this would be forever. That's so much money.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes forty five million bucks average per year. They
- 45:52Speaker 2: have forty forty five million. And again this is just
- 45:56Speaker 2: play money to us because we're just comparing the two.
- 45:58Speaker 2: But think about forty five million dollars crazy, Deshaun Watson
- 46:01Speaker 2: forty six million dollars a year and so, and you
- 46:05Speaker 2: can see too where these guys are probably like jumping
- 46:08Speaker 2: over each other a little bit too. Cayler Murray forty
- 46:10Speaker 2: six point one million. Got to get that point one
- 46:12Speaker 2: in there. Aaron Rodgers forty nine million and Jalen Hurts
- 46:17Speaker 2: fifty one million dollars as of his deal. Good for you, buddy,
- 46:23Speaker 2: get it if you can get it. Speaking of Lamar Jackson,
- 46:28Speaker 2: the story was that he said, go get Obij and
- 46:33Speaker 2: go over to the Cardinals and get Hopkins and then
- 46:35Speaker 2: we'll talk. You see that story. I did. And they're like,
- 46:38Speaker 2: we can't afford them both, so they wouldn't got obj.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I don't know if they're still trying to get Hopkins.
- 46:44Speaker 2: He obviously, I mean they would trade him, but Lamar's like,
- 46:49Speaker 2: do it and we'll talk. So they didn't do both.
- 46:51Speaker 2: But are they talking?
- 46:53Speaker 1: You know?
- 46:53Speaker 2: It feels like a Jets moved to get Rogers to
- 46:55Speaker 2: come in by getting an old player that used to
- 46:58Speaker 2: be real good that we don't I mean, we'redes Lewis
- 47:01Speaker 2: and didn't the Jets just sign Mercedes. Isn't he like
- 47:03Speaker 2: fifty one? Yeah? I can't believe he's in the league.
- 47:06Speaker 2: But I it's like if Rogers wants them, and Rogers
- 47:10Speaker 2: gonna end up retiring and the Jets are gonna have
- 47:13Speaker 2: all of Rogers buddies and no Rogers because now the
- 47:17Speaker 2: Packers don't want to give up a first round pick
- 47:18Speaker 2: because they know he ain't playing for them anymore. So
- 47:23Speaker 2: all I go to the Jets, so just retire. So
- 47:25Speaker 2: where it is, they don't want to give a first
- 47:27Speaker 2: round pick, but then you have lamar, go on, I
- 47:28Speaker 2: want these two receivers. He got one of them. Does
- 47:31Speaker 2: he talk? Now, what's the latest you've heard about that?
- 47:34Speaker 2: I've heard nothing, and then nothing has happened. Just that story.
- 47:37Speaker 3: That's the only thing I've seen in the last week
- 47:39Speaker 3: or so. They want Bolder, he wants both of them.
- 47:42Speaker 3: They said, we can't afford both of them, so we'll
- 47:44Speaker 3: try to get you one. And they did get him
- 47:45Speaker 3: one and probably overpaid for one.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say overpaid for one. Yeah, all right,
- 47:53Speaker 2: I think that's it. Everybody feel good, Mikey feel good.
- 47:57Speaker 2: I feel good. Look at us. We're just gonna come
- 47:59Speaker 2: wind to a little shorty. I do this all the time, Mike,
- 48:01Speaker 2: and I know he knows me, and he's like, he
- 48:03Speaker 2: says he's gonna do a short one. I was like,
- 48:06Speaker 2: if we get on and we feel good, let's just
- 48:08Speaker 2: keep rolling. And we did, and we're glad we did. Uh.
- 48:11Speaker 2: If we talk about I'm gonna pull this up. We
- 48:13Speaker 2: talked about our final thought, Kevin, what you got anything?
- 48:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just kinda gonna go with the weekend of
- 48:20Speaker 3: the NBA. These injuries, I hate to see him happen.
- 48:23Speaker 3: I know a couple of them a little bit longer,
- 48:25Speaker 3: but I hope they don't keep happening in this playoffs.
- 48:27Speaker 3: But I want to see as much, even as a
- 48:29Speaker 3: Celtics fan, I want to see Yannis in there. I
- 48:31Speaker 3: want to see all these guys in there. So I
- 48:33Speaker 3: hope it stops after week in one. So even on
- 48:36Speaker 3: other teams, you want to see injury stop.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I you know what, I'll be like, hope
- 48:39Speaker 2: everybody gets injured except my team.
- 48:41Speaker 3: I mean, my initial thought is, oh, Yannis is going
- 48:43Speaker 3: to be out, like that'll be easier.
- 48:44Speaker 2: But then I don't want to beat the Bucks.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And then.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Me though, could you still got to beat a bunch
- 48:49Speaker 2: of other good people too? He's still and what kind
- 48:51Speaker 2: of Buck fans talking crap to you? I know one guy. Okay,
- 48:55Speaker 2: here's what I want to say. We got a pretty
- 48:57Speaker 2: good week coming up. As far as guests here on
- 48:59Speaker 2: the show, Adam Brenneman is going to talk college football
- 49:02Speaker 2: for ESPN. We got Rob Parker from Fox Sports coming up,
- 49:06Speaker 2: and we also have Dan Brugler. Do we have daan on?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Have we had him on before? Mike No? Oh cool
- 49:13Speaker 2: because he works for the Athletic and he's doing some
- 49:17Speaker 2: NFL draft stuff. I really like his work over there.
- 49:19Speaker 2: I subscribe to the Athletic and so I'm pretty pumped.
- 49:21Speaker 2: We're gonna have all three of them on this week.
- 49:24Speaker 2: That's it. I'm playing The Opery tomorrow night. Awesome. Yeah, no, no,
- 49:31Speaker 2: I know my points has nothing to do with the show.
- 49:33Speaker 2: I have my calendar up, so I'm kind of looking
- 49:34Speaker 2: at what's going on. So I'm playing The Opery tomorrow night.
- 49:37Speaker 2: I'm pretty excited about that. It's been I've probably played
- 49:39Speaker 2: it about a month or so. So you guys have
- 49:42Speaker 2: a great day. Thanks for listening to twenty five whistles.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Oh reed? Do you want to give us one? Oh?
- 49:46Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I just you know. I had a great
- 49:48Speaker 5: birthday weekend. Played golf.
- 49:51Speaker 2: I just shoot, I saw he won plus thirty on
- 49:53Speaker 2: absolutely yeah, absolutely trash. Not to throw your score out there,
- 49:57Speaker 2: but it only popped up because read are we friends?
- 50:00Speaker 2: Eighteen birdies?
- 50:01Speaker 5: I think I added you, but you didn't add me back.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Yet no, Well popped up on my phone. Your score.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Oh what so maybe we are birdies? We our friends.
- 50:09Speaker 5: Oh.
- 50:10Speaker 2: And then I was like, let me see it. I'll
- 50:11Speaker 2: read shy and I said plus thirty. I was like, oh,
- 50:13Speaker 2: I don't even mention this to him. It was trash.
- 50:14Speaker 2: It was so bad. But I'll just stop putting the scoring.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I just like eleven holes. I'd just stop putting it
- 50:18Speaker 2: in and suffer through it. Why was it so bad?
- 50:22Speaker 5: I think it's just because it was a new course.
- 50:23Speaker 5: It was what's it called. It's whatever Gator's course was.
- 50:29Speaker 5: But I just it was it was cold. My chipping
- 50:32Speaker 5: and putting was.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Not there at all. And you don't have new clubs yet.
- 50:35Speaker 5: No, I'm going to order them today. Actually you are
- 50:38Speaker 5: going to go order them. I'm gonna go get them. Yeah,
- 50:40Speaker 5: and shout out to Bobby sweet Man.
- 50:44Speaker 2: He is send me some smiles this week, very sweet man.
- 50:48Speaker 2: For some clubs. I was like, do not spend this
- 50:50Speaker 2: on bills or food. Do not spend this on anything.
- 50:52Speaker 2: You should spend it on this.
- 50:55Speaker 4: Well, I don't know.
- 50:56Speaker 2: He bets randomly and wins, but I was like, you
- 50:58Speaker 2: can only spend this money on golf golf clubs, whatever
- 51:01Speaker 2: the case is. I bought a Scotti camera Putter. That's
- 51:03Speaker 2: what I did with it. I'm just kidding you didn't, right,
- 51:06Speaker 2: I did. We had this talk. It's not worth you
- 51:09Speaker 2: can get one eventually. That's the least important thing if
- 51:13Speaker 2: you're not good enough to have it, which I'm not
- 51:17Speaker 2: so No, once you have everything else, you don't have
- 51:20Speaker 2: to be good. If like, you have the money and
- 51:21Speaker 2: you want to get it, get it. But it's like
- 51:22Speaker 2: if you got to start over it, you don't start
- 51:23Speaker 2: over by paying five hundred bucks for Scotty Cameron Putter. No,
- 51:26Speaker 2: not at all. But I appreciate you. That was very,
- 51:29Speaker 2: very nice. All right, that's what's up. We'll see you
- 51:31Speaker 2: guys later on this week.
- 51:33Speaker 1: And.
- 51:35Speaker 2: It's gonna blow the whistle right here, see you guys.
