SPEAKER_01: Can I give you a super quick update to a story that I told last week, which will come back to you because it deals with uh the fun sucking of the world continues.
• 0:09
  SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
• 0:10
SPEAKER_01: Do you remember the guy that I told you last week?
• 0:12
SPEAKER_01: And and I this may be on demand.
• 0:14
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 0:15
SPEAKER_01: Uh I told you a story last week about this guy that's been banned from every single Six Flags Park because he was eating chicken nuggets on the roller coaster.
• 0:23
SPEAKER_01: And if you remember when I was telling you the story, I said, you watch, this is a hundred percent, it was meant to be for a viral video.
• 0:30
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_02: Because I mean you said choking hazard, because I mean it's fun.
• 0:35
SPEAKER_02: I thought what he was doing it for was when you get your picture taken on the roller coaster that he would be having like all these dunny different funny faces, like he was dining out and dipping and then eating.
• 0:45
  SPEAKER_01: Could have been.
• 0:46
SPEAKER_01: I mean, the whole thing was all for, you know, it was all to get some sort of publicity, whether it was social, whether it was that, whatever.
• 0:51
  SPEAKER_01: I have the guy.
• 0:53
SPEAKER_01: Let's listen to what he was doing.
• 0:54
SPEAKER_00: It was definitely really hard.
• 0:55
SPEAKER_01: So I see why uh Cedar Point he sounds exactly the way that I was expecting him to sound.
• 1:02
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:03
  SPEAKER_01: Here we go.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_00: Cedar Point reacted the way they did because I can see why there's safety measures and everything like that.
• 1:08
  SPEAKER_00: It was hard.
• 1:08
SPEAKER_00: I had to uh try not to choke almost the entire ride.
• 1:11
SPEAKER_00: I had no idea Cedar Point even seen the video until I got a message saying I've been banned for life from Cedar Point, which really hurts because I've been going there since I was a little kid.
• 1:20
  SPEAKER_00: I'm a seasoned pass holder.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_00: I'm definitely sad about how it ended up, but I understand why they went the way they did.
• 1:28
SPEAKER_00: They don't want a bunch of other people trying to pull off challenges like I do.
• 1:32
  SPEAKER_00: Ah, seat challenge.
• 1:33
  SPEAKER_00: There you go.
• 1:34
  SPEAKER_02: Okay.
• 1:34
SPEAKER_02: Do you think that he should be able to appeal?
• 1:36
  SPEAKER_02: No, I have a better question.
• 1:38
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm ready.
• 1:39
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:40
SPEAKER_01: Years ago, when you would go into the post office, you would see on the wall the most wanted people.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_01: Like that they would actually put the most wanted up there, right?
• 1:50
  SPEAKER_01: Yes, I remember this.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_01: How do they know if this guy just, I don't know, grows out his facial hair or shaves that it's him?
• 1:56
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_01: Because nobody they don't check IDs when we go to Darien, they don't walk in and they're like, hey, hey, give me your ID.
• 2:01
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 2:02
SPEAKER_01: The last time I was at Cedar Point, you just walk through a gate.
• 2:04
  SPEAKER_01: There's that.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_01: Thousands of people that go there every day.
• 2:07
  SPEAKER_02: How are you banned?
• 2:08
SPEAKER_02: He could wear a hat, sunglasses.
• 2:10
SPEAKER_02: Actually, what he should wear is like those silly ones with the big nose.
• 2:14
  SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_01: You know what I'm saying?
• 2:15
SPEAKER_01: Like, how do they really ban you from something like that?
• 2:18
SPEAKER_02: No, getting getting banned from a bar, I can understand because you can you see that person.
• 2:22
  SPEAKER_02: The bar's smaller.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_02: If somebody gets banned from like Boars Nest or something on Seneca Lake, like, yeah, there's only like 50 people that are in there at a time.
• 2:32
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 2:32
SPEAKER_01: It's a better chance of saying, oh wait, you know.
• 2:34
  SPEAKER_02: Yes, exactly.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_02: Or a store that somebody constantly causes trouble at.
• 2:38
  SPEAKER_02: Well, sure.
• 2:38
  SPEAKER_02: Uh okay.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_01: Well, they had those, like at Walmart and stuff like that.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_01: Uh, you'd have uh the the wall of shame.
• 2:44
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_01: And you but at Cedar Point, you've got to be talking thousands of people a day.
• 2:49
SPEAKER_02: I do think he should be able to appeal, though, because he didn't know it.
• 2:52
SPEAKER_02: He didn't know he was doing anything wrong.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_01: And that's where I really think he was doing everything right.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_02: No, but I wouldn't think that that would get me banned.
• 3:00
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I could have choked.
• 3:01
  SPEAKER_02: You're right.
• 3:02
  SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_02: But I also put my hands in the air, and I'm not supposed to do that either, on a roller coaster.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_02: So should I get banned for that?
• 3:08
  SPEAKER_01: They tell you that?
• 3:09
SPEAKER_02: They say keep your hands and feet inside the ride.
• 3:11
  SPEAKER_02: Come on.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I thought lifting them straight above you was like considered your dome of you.
• 3:19
SPEAKER_02: I think that yes, you everyone does it.
• 3:21
SPEAKER_02: But you know when you're going on a roller coaster and there's the part that goes above your head, like you're going down a hill, but there's another.
• 3:27
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, it could slice you right off at the wrists.
• 3:29
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_02: You could be waving at yourself goodbye.
• 3:31
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 3:33
  SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
• 3:33
  SPEAKER_02: Well, banned them all.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_02: Let me play you this.
• 3:35
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_02: Do you think parenthood is just like zhuzging things up?
• 3:40
SPEAKER_02: You are, I think you're gonna steal this idea.
• 3:42
  SPEAKER_02: Here we go.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_03: Parenthood is just becoming really good at marketing ordinary life.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
• 3:46
SPEAKER_03: Like you just try to turn the mundane into the spectacular.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_03: Like this morning, we wake up, it's Memorial Day, no school, and it's pouring rain, 50 degrees out.
• 3:54
SPEAKER_03: Kids are all bummed because we can't go outside.
• 3:56
SPEAKER_03: And I said, no, no, no.
• 3:57
SPEAKER_03: This is actually a really good thing.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_03: My oldest, who's four, is looking at me like, what are you talking about?
• 4:01
SPEAKER_03: I said, This means we get to go do a comfy car ride.
• 4:04
  SPEAKER_03: What's a comfy car?
• 4:05
  SPEAKER_03: I said, Hold on.
• 4:06
SPEAKER_03: You've never done a comfy car ride before, as if I'm not the one that would have to do that for him.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_03: But anyway, I said, a comfy car ride?
• 4:12
SPEAKER_03: That's where you and your sister get to go pick out your favorite blanket.
• 4:15
SPEAKER_03: We get in the truck with no shoes on, drive in the rain to go get munchkins.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, let's go.
• 4:21
SPEAKER_03: They run, get their favorite blankets.
• 4:23
SPEAKER_03: I'm carrying them out to the truck one by one under the umbrella, getting them tucked in in the backseat.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_03: And I'm telling you, we drove around listening to their favorite songs, they're eating their munchkins, and they just keep talking about how comfy they are.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_03: I mean, honestly, kids will let you turn anything into a core memory if you just commit.
• 4:38
SPEAKER_01: Is that I mean, there's truth though.
• 4:40
  SPEAKER_01: Come on to that.
• 4:41
SPEAKER_01: I that is something I would Hey Dad, are we gonna do something fun today?
• 4:45
  SPEAKER_01: You bet you're a city scaled Sam's Clubs.
