- 0:02Speaker 1: That the tree is real. It's about to go down.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Wake up, wake up, turn it down. You know, if
- 0:15Speaker 1: you're gonna shoot, you better shoot straight, because so who
- 0:17Speaker 1: did I don't know. Listen, the worst thing you can
- 0:19Speaker 1: deal with tracts. Welcome to the ball Alert Show featuring
- 0:21Speaker 1: your lifestyle specialists. He Burns so long and Ferrari Simmons
- 0:26Speaker 1: that the tree is real. Get that off the screen.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. It's your lifestyle specialist,
- 0:36Speaker 1: Kenny Burns as your favorite ethopians is so low. That
- 0:43Speaker 1: was the best one. That was the best one. No,
- 0:45Speaker 1: she's turned No, I love I want to tell you so.
- 0:49Speaker 1: First of all, we're gonna discuss this um and shortly
- 0:54Speaker 1: in the case you missed about. I love what y'all did.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I love how you got active. We're gonna talk about
- 0:58Speaker 1: that soon. But how was your weekends? As we had
- 1:00Speaker 1: an emotional week. Of course, we lost our dear brother
- 1:03Speaker 1: Nipsey Um and we all had things, especially you, in
- 1:07Speaker 1: celebration for him. Although it was an emotional, rough, awkward,
- 1:14Speaker 1: unfortunate week, I think the entire world came together. First
- 1:18Speaker 1: of all, we could talk about that our world came
- 1:20Speaker 1: together in unity, but to get a little more intimate.
- 1:24Speaker 1: The habbit of community in Atlanta showed out literally everywhere
- 1:28Speaker 1: though DC, Seattle, everywhere like Houston was insane. But I
- 1:32Speaker 1: was totally inspired by the Hazan, which is like what
- 1:35Speaker 1: we call a vigil here in Atlanta. Um that we
- 1:38Speaker 1: had in Atlanta. There were so many like air trans
- 1:41Speaker 1: and Ethiopians that I hadn't seen since I was a kid.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And I was just looking in the room like wow,
- 1:45Speaker 1: like we're all here celebrating a man that of us
- 1:48Speaker 1: had probably never met. Um. And it was inspiring to
- 1:53Speaker 1: be in that room because I realized that we are
- 1:57Speaker 1: way more creative than we lead on to. Like a
- 2:00Speaker 1: lot of us kind of fall into what we're supposed
- 2:02Speaker 1: to do, you know, doctor's lawyers and and and that's
- 2:05Speaker 1: totally fine. But being in a room with other musicians
- 2:08Speaker 1: and literally like artists who do sculptures and Um Hannah
- 2:13Speaker 1: who worked who's the news anchor? Like I just I
- 2:15Speaker 1: just stood there and I was just like wow, like
- 2:18Speaker 1: we are so amazing and so capable. So I got
- 2:21Speaker 1: really inspired to do something called the habbitsch and highlight
- 2:23Speaker 1: that I was telling you too, guys about where um
- 2:26Speaker 1: I want you guys to submit like your music to
- 2:28Speaker 1: me or whatever it is that you do. If it's
- 2:29Speaker 1: skin care, makeup, I don't care what it is that
- 2:32Speaker 1: you do, but go to my Instagram and hit the
- 2:34Speaker 1: email button and just submit it to me. And the
- 2:35Speaker 1: Habbitchy and Highlight is basically going to highlight someone within
- 2:38Speaker 1: our community. Whether you are north or south of the
- 2:40Speaker 1: border does not matter. And we're gonna talk about it
- 2:43Speaker 1: here on ball Alert and also on Ferrari Show on
- 2:46Speaker 1: Streets four five on our show. Then. So it's cool
- 2:53Speaker 1: because I get to share a platform that you guys,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you know, put me on with with the rest of
- 2:57Speaker 1: our community. So I'm super excited to do that. So
- 3:00Speaker 1: that that was amazing. And this is my thro actually
- 3:02Speaker 1: buying a prom dress for a young habits A lady
- 3:05Speaker 1: because I remember when I was going to prom my
- 3:07Speaker 1: mama was like, what, like how much you want me
- 3:10Speaker 1: to spend on this? In your hair and makeup? Like?
- 3:12Speaker 1: She was not into it. And we understand that. So
- 3:15Speaker 1: we want to do this for somebody who is deserving.
- 3:19Speaker 1: So write me, email me, let me know, and we
- 3:21Speaker 1: will get your makeup, hair wardrobe and your purpose. Girl. Yes,
- 3:25Speaker 1: like it's beautiful. It's beautiful. And of course the brunch
- 3:28Speaker 1: Saturday was amazing. Still waiting on Kenny Burns to show up,
- 3:31Speaker 1: but the brunch atl at Atlantis was amazing. Guys TV
- 3:36Speaker 1: show yea, but go to the brunch Mr Reservation so
- 3:47Speaker 1: you can party with your favorite. You have some bomb
- 3:49Speaker 1: chicken and waffles at Atlantis. I don't know, no, I
- 3:54Speaker 1: think I'm just gonna say the energy when you come
- 4:00Speaker 1: to the room, it's a big deal. Your little sister
- 4:03Speaker 1: and I come, literally though, Okay, great, I'm coming. I
- 4:07Speaker 1: need got to go to Kenny Burning I'm coming. Last.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We got called weekend. You know what, we will have
- 4:20Speaker 1: Jessica come. You know what, She'll coming blast how was
- 4:23Speaker 1: your weekend? How was your weekend? And and my DJ?
- 4:31Speaker 1: Is that a bomb? Nip sessij DJ Real talk. We've
- 4:37Speaker 1: been playing Nip in Atlanta because Nip always came to Atlanta.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So I don't want a lot of people to think
- 4:41Speaker 1: that we've just been doing that ship we've been playing
- 4:43Speaker 1: Nip on the radio. Y'all just ain't notice because y'all
- 4:46Speaker 1: just ain't really been paying attention to. What if you
- 4:48Speaker 1: Nip on the station twice? You know what I'm saying.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We've been playing, nip says, We've been doing because nipp
- 4:53Speaker 1: is you know, West Coast. But anyway, I like to
- 4:56Speaker 1: say over this past week, I'd like to say that everyone,
- 5:00Speaker 1: you know, it felt like we lost somebody that we
- 5:03Speaker 1: were close to that wasn't close to knit, you know
- 5:05Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So, um, I just felt down all week,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So it just kind of
- 5:11Speaker 1: brought then I had like a lot of epiphanies also
- 5:14Speaker 1: to this week, Like my whole thing in my mind
- 5:16Speaker 1: is like, yeah, you know, I want to buy the
- 5:18Speaker 1: block back to I've just been all in my I've
- 5:20Speaker 1: been in my feelings, just trying to set up my future.
- 5:23Speaker 1: But my future includes us, like includes us as and
- 5:26Speaker 1: you listening, you watching us. It doesn't have to be white, black, whoever.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I don't care who you is. If if US has
- 5:33Speaker 1: the same agenda, let's let's let's do it. Yeah. So
- 5:37Speaker 1: that's that's all I've been thinking about. And again on Saturday,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I was in Orlando with your nephew, So I wasn't
- 5:43Speaker 1: able to come every weekend. I'm traveling for the last
- 5:46Speaker 1: fifteen years, am I not never mind. Uh yeah, I
- 5:51Speaker 1: went to the end of Guys. I had a six
- 5:52Speaker 1: hour road trip um and Disney Disney Wild World Sports.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You know. We went to the Big House and it
- 6:00Speaker 1: was like this big facility where they have all these games.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And I haven't driven that far in a long time.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And I want to say that the back gave out
- 6:07Speaker 1: four times even like I'm just like what, you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I'm dripping, but yeah, it's like get out stretched. No.
- 6:13Speaker 1: But driving you know in college used to burn the
- 6:15Speaker 1: road up like I but I haven't been really driving,
- 6:18Speaker 1: so I that was a that was a challenge. But
- 6:20Speaker 1: I drove both ways. Jessica did not have to participate,
- 6:23Speaker 1: so you will find that very um chivalrous on my part. Um.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And I got a lot to say about uh Nipsey too,
- 6:29Speaker 1: So I want to get into in case you missed it.
- 6:32Speaker 1: So now it's tip for in case you missed it. Yes, yes, yeah,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I wanted to touch on this Nipsey thing and in
- 6:40Speaker 1: case you missed it, because it's a it's a long thing,
- 6:43Speaker 1: right we we we have obviously had an incredibly emotional week.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Um still not really over it, and like Rory said
- 6:52Speaker 1: in its opening comments, it felt like a family member.
- 6:55Speaker 1: We lost a family member, and I think, you know,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I had time to kind of digest did over the week,
- 7:00Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I've been a part of
- 7:02Speaker 1: a lot of pivotal points in hip hop culture and
- 7:05Speaker 1: to see you know, Pop die and the way he
- 7:08Speaker 1: died and Big die and now all the way to
- 7:11Speaker 1: Nipsey Um. And obviously we've had many of death from
- 7:14Speaker 1: natural causes or violence along the way. But this speaks
- 7:17Speaker 1: volumes because I think Pop people were asking me on
- 7:20Speaker 1: Instagram all weeks, you know, only did to post the
- 7:23Speaker 1: whole week and it was more dedicated to UM to
- 7:26Speaker 1: Nip And they were asking me over and over again
- 7:30Speaker 1: like yo, like do you think Nip It's like, you know,
- 7:33Speaker 1: it's how big is this? Do you think it's like
- 7:35Speaker 1: Pop's death or Big death? And you know, I equated
- 7:38Speaker 1: it finally after thinking about it to Pop, and I
- 7:40Speaker 1: did because Pop always had a message in his music,
- 7:44Speaker 1: but Pot never really achieved the success he wanted to
- 7:48Speaker 1: the financial um independence, he wanted to to do the
- 7:51Speaker 1: things he was talking about in his records. I mean,
- 7:53Speaker 1: he did think artists weren't aware that they could own
- 7:57Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, it was a different mentality. It was
- 7:59Speaker 1: a different time. But I think, you know, Park did things,
- 8:02Speaker 1: but he didn't do ultimately what he wanted to do.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I think, um, and it was obviously killed very young
- 8:07Speaker 1: and couldn't do it. And then you look at Nipsey
- 8:11Speaker 1: and Nipsey um, because it was crazy because Steve Ripken
- 8:14Speaker 1: posted this um picture of meet him and nip and
- 8:17Speaker 1: I'm looking at like, you know, no face, Kenny, no
- 8:20Speaker 1: tax really Nipsey like fresh and again I'm just like damn.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Like then, he was talking about everything he did. He
- 8:27Speaker 1: bought in the hood, he taught in the hood, he
- 8:30Speaker 1: made a better way. He even went to his homeland
- 8:33Speaker 1: and was opening up schools and doing things. And I
- 8:35Speaker 1: just think that, like if I was the equated to anything,
- 8:37Speaker 1: it would be like Pop. Now, mind you, he hasn't
- 8:39Speaker 1: had the commercial musical success that Pop had, but what
- 8:43Speaker 1: he means to people is evident in this last week
- 8:46Speaker 1: of dedication. I mean, you got gang bangers that never
- 8:50Speaker 1: would touch, same soil, same time, get together and you know,
- 8:54Speaker 1: mark of the marathon property, um, you know. And I
- 8:58Speaker 1: mean it's just like you look at all the things
- 9:00Speaker 1: things that were going on, It's like this man brought
- 9:02Speaker 1: so many people. I mean when I saw Houston that
- 9:05Speaker 1: mind you like everybody had a dedication, but when you
- 9:09Speaker 1: looked at Houston, it was and and to be honest,
- 9:15Speaker 1: and to be honest, I mean if you go, I
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know how big the harber Shot community is, and
- 9:20Speaker 1: he was. I go a lot to Houston, I go
- 9:23Speaker 1: a lot. And I mean when when I look at
- 9:25Speaker 1: like the African community, I see Africans, I see more
- 9:29Speaker 1: Nigerians than I see anything. Um. But with the way
- 9:32Speaker 1: they came together and the way that they were in
- 9:35Speaker 1: I don't know where they were, but it was see
- 9:37Speaker 1: of people and to see that. I never heard Nipsey
- 9:41Speaker 1: song on the radio ever when I went to Houston.
- 9:44Speaker 1: This is back to your point when you made your
- 9:46Speaker 1: opening statements, Like you know, some people never knew who
- 9:49Speaker 1: he was, but it was just so real. It was
- 9:52Speaker 1: such a force. And like even like Snoop snooping around
- 9:55Speaker 1: death that made him, you know, way early in his career,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and it was you know, it wasn't as socially shared.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But I've never seen Snoop react to a loss falling
- 10:05Speaker 1: soldier like he's reacting to Nipcy. But it you know,
- 10:08Speaker 1: it's just as a m a profound it's a profound
- 10:12Speaker 1: statement on what the social community can do if we
- 10:15Speaker 1: really wanted to, because I think we look at social
- 10:17Speaker 1: and what it does excuse all this bullshitty, but it
- 10:22Speaker 1: has this great things and this is one of the
- 10:24Speaker 1: great things. I mean, imagine, like there are so many
- 10:26Speaker 1: things that happened around the world that don't get media
- 10:28Speaker 1: coverage and we won't know about if it wasn't for
- 10:30Speaker 1: social media. So you gotta think they're good with the
- 10:33Speaker 1: bad when it comes to that. Yeah. So the biggest
- 10:35Speaker 1: thing I think, um I learned this week. Um, I
- 10:40Speaker 1: don't even think I learned. I think that was reiterated
- 10:42Speaker 1: was was family and how important it is to tell
- 10:46Speaker 1: your people you love them, how important it is not
- 10:49Speaker 1: to shun anyone in need, because I think a lot
- 10:51Speaker 1: of times we get these requests, especially to hire you
- 10:53Speaker 1: go on the success ladder, you get these requests like
- 10:56Speaker 1: I need you, I need help. But you get so
- 10:59Speaker 1: much of that it's kind of like I'm not paying
- 11:00Speaker 1: attention to all requests. You don't know how to spread
- 11:03Speaker 1: yourself out? Yeah, could you spread yourself thin? And a
- 11:05Speaker 1: lot of times you can't really weigh the value of
- 11:09Speaker 1: the request because you don't know, right, But you gotta
- 11:12Speaker 1: start being more compassionate man. And obviously, you know we
- 11:17Speaker 1: all here at our round table, we all share, we
- 11:19Speaker 1: all try to put each other in perspective and give opportunities.
- 11:22Speaker 1: But like, man, he just made this. This whole week
- 11:24Speaker 1: has taught me like, no, I gotta do more. Like
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'm doing a lot, but I gotta do more. You
- 11:30Speaker 1: know everybody? Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I'm just you know,
- 11:34Speaker 1: looking at Nipsey and I'm just like, you did everything
- 11:38Speaker 1: you did while still being getting affiliated, learning about your
- 11:41Speaker 1: your cultural background. Like there's so much that he's doing that.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Sometimes I get overwhelmed just by the thought of it.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So to see that, I'm like, come on out, because
- 11:49Speaker 1: he probably said it. I'm not even you know what
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm saying. My hair is not even American. You know,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I'm saying. My people are from the Caribbean Islands. I'm
- 11:55Speaker 1: over here thinking about that. What can I do? You
- 11:59Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like this whole week, I've been
- 12:01Speaker 1: thinking about everything. Yeah, if we left with anything from
- 12:04Speaker 1: this week, um and this brother's lost. Man is compassion
- 12:07Speaker 1: for your people, man, Compassion for your people? Man? I
- 12:10Speaker 1: love how you're embracing your community and really doubling down.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Definitely guilty of like you know straight away, but I
- 12:17Speaker 1: think a lot of times all yeah, like generation American
- 12:22Speaker 1: and you know, you get bullied in school or people
- 12:24Speaker 1: are calling you African booty scratcher, like you just naturally
- 12:27Speaker 1: kind of straight even more. But then as adults, you
- 12:30Speaker 1: start trying to put pieces together of who you are,
- 12:32Speaker 1: where you come from, Why, why you do this when
- 12:34Speaker 1: your other friends do that. You do some research and
- 12:37Speaker 1: you realize those are your cultural morals, like makes you special,
- 12:40Speaker 1: that is what makes you you. Um Nipsey said in
- 12:43Speaker 1: a speech one time that I think he was at
- 12:45Speaker 1: the Eritrean Festival or something like that, where he said, um,
- 12:48Speaker 1: he finally learned that, you know, the habbither breed is
- 12:50Speaker 1: just different. Not to say that we're better or worse,
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's just different. And you have to be able to
- 12:55Speaker 1: accept that your culture is what it is and be
- 12:58Speaker 1: proud of that. The marathon continues, y'all, um Beyonce y'all
- 13:03Speaker 1: homecoming trailer was released. Did you not see? The Homecoming
- 13:06Speaker 1: Trailer's adorable? Did you see? Did you see? Did everybody?
- 13:09Speaker 1: I just want to say that when you talk about
- 13:12Speaker 1: the pit in me of excellence, I don't even want
- 13:16Speaker 1: to put black in front of it. I'm talking about excellence, right.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It was so inspiring. They finally showed the babies, by
- 13:24Speaker 1: the way, the one look exactly like Beyonce, one look
- 13:27Speaker 1: exactly like right. The boy looks like Beyonce, the girl
- 13:31Speaker 1: looks like Jack. Yes, and it it was so inspiring.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Obviously Maya Angelo Uh Angelou? Um was Angelou, right, Miss Maya?
- 13:41Speaker 1: Don't get slapped um, but yeah by the spirit um.
- 13:46Speaker 1: But she she was the rats or of it. She
- 13:50Speaker 1: was the voice right um. And it was just so
- 13:53Speaker 1: dope to see all the behind the scenes. I mean,
- 13:56Speaker 1: who didn't go to the concert? Right? If you didn't
- 13:58Speaker 1: go to the concert, kill yourself if you? If you
- 14:01Speaker 1: if you didn't didn't really go watch this this trailer
- 14:04Speaker 1: get inspired for us to come? Did she not? Did
- 14:06Speaker 1: she not give your life with this? It was beautiful.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I think Beyonce always does that though. I think they're
- 14:10Speaker 1: very aware of the content they want to put out,
- 14:14Speaker 1: how they want to put it out. Think they're very
- 14:15Speaker 1: strategic and at the end of it, we get gold
- 14:20Speaker 1: to mention they're saying that's why Netflix went up on
- 14:22Speaker 1: their prices. Totally makes sense. But you know, it was
- 14:26Speaker 1: just a thing out there. Beyonce I was doing this.
- 14:28Speaker 1: You heard about the Adidas partnership. She was doing this
- 14:31Speaker 1: all partnership. Ye. And then she basically had these series
- 14:35Speaker 1: of meetings you know, with you know, potential partners and
- 14:39Speaker 1: she went to Rebok and they did this whole pitch
- 14:41Speaker 1: and not one Black person was in the room. And
- 14:43Speaker 1: she was like, oh, excuse me, Um, is this you know?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Is this the team that's gonna be representing me? Oh?
- 14:51Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. And now we have to
- 14:56Speaker 1: playing opportunities for our people. We have to end like
- 14:59Speaker 1: you I just announced today for art basil Um some
- 15:02Speaker 1: creators and are doing this thing called reparations, right. And
- 15:04Speaker 1: when people look at us and me like all the
- 15:06Speaker 1: ward is me, Black people think that, but it's not.
- 15:09Speaker 1: You know what I mean, generations other than whites have
- 15:11Speaker 1: been oppressed, all of them, all of them, all of
- 15:15Speaker 1: them may to feel less than maye to. I mean,
- 15:18Speaker 1: our president just called these people, these these Mexicans animals,
- 15:23Speaker 1: They're not people, Like, what do you mean trying to
- 15:26Speaker 1: escape poverty and come to the land of the Free,
- 15:29Speaker 1: the you know what I'm saying, the United States of America,
- 15:32Speaker 1: where you could be anything you want to be, and
- 15:33Speaker 1: you're calling them. So my point is, Beyonce and Jay
- 15:37Speaker 1: z are are forever presidents, if you will in representation,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I think our forever leaders on how relationships can look
- 15:46Speaker 1: and feel, what giving back to your community looks like.
- 15:49Speaker 1: And I am all here for the Beyonce Homecoming documentary
- 15:54Speaker 1: coming to Netflix. Um. Speaking of coming to get something,
- 16:01Speaker 1: apparently there's a producer that's coming for a French montowna
- 16:04Speaker 1: our dear brother, and uh, it's a five million dollar
- 16:09Speaker 1: lawsuit and this producer, I'm not going to give him
- 16:11Speaker 1: any airtime if we did mention him on ball alert. Um,
- 16:16Speaker 1: you know, basically saying that he took a sample sound
- 16:20Speaker 1: something melody ain't word by word by word sounds a
- 16:34Speaker 1: lot of like to me, it sounds like right, yeah,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I think it, but why wait so long? I just
- 16:40Speaker 1: want to know that. Or maybe he said something on
- 16:45Speaker 1: a smaller scale and people shut him down and now
- 16:48Speaker 1: he's like, now forget that, like I'm ready. Yah. Ultimately
- 16:51Speaker 1: he's gonna have to prove it in court, just like
- 16:56Speaker 1: put him on the screen put him on the spleen.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I am so sorry to gone kill the kind because
- 17:09Speaker 1: Rios Logos sideways was front. No, no, it's no, thank you, Rory.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I appreciate that, but you gotta give me all of mine.
- 17:17Speaker 1: You can't go back and then help him feel better
- 17:19Speaker 1: about his choices after the fact. You know, yeah, this
- 17:24Speaker 1: next thing has nothing to do with your riosis, has
- 17:26Speaker 1: more to do with the actual cloud chasers out there
- 17:28Speaker 1: in the world has released. That was just a good segue.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It's not about but the cloud chasers. Ball Alert has
- 17:37Speaker 1: to find the term cloud chase, and I want to
- 17:40Speaker 1: I want to say this though, no bullshit. All week long,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I saw the love andption, but I also saw the
- 17:47Speaker 1: opportunities for people to make money and give anything back
- 17:51Speaker 1: to his family. I saw the opportunity for Oh my god,
- 17:54Speaker 1: this is a big challenge. I'm sorry, tragedy, but you
- 17:58Speaker 1: never booked him, you promoters. I've been seeing in these markets, man,
- 18:02Speaker 1: oh my god, it's like and we're going here and
- 18:05Speaker 1: sign up to the event bright and it's just it's disgusting.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So this definition is for you. A cloud chaser a
- 18:12Speaker 1: person who strategically associates themselves with the success of a
- 18:17Speaker 1: popular person or a current contemporary trend to gain fame
- 18:22Speaker 1: and attention. This personality disorder is often resembled as riding
- 18:27Speaker 1: the wave without concern for damage or integrity. I've been
- 18:32Speaker 1: seeing this at an alarming rate, at an alarming rate,
- 18:38Speaker 1: Like I I can't even sometimes. And this is the
- 18:41Speaker 1: curse with social media. You can just jump out there
- 18:45Speaker 1: and be this whole fake individual. But then like I
- 18:50Speaker 1: even think back to myself when I post pictures because
- 18:53Speaker 1: we're in the club and we got Rick Ross coming up,
- 18:55Speaker 1: we got this stand the third, I'm never posted anyone
- 18:59Speaker 1: I don't know, like me with them or have worked
- 19:03Speaker 1: with or have broken bread with. Never if I'm celebrating someone,
- 19:08Speaker 1: if I'm talking something, so I don't even think I've
- 19:10Speaker 1: talked about somebody and posted a picture or rolled the trend.
- 19:14Speaker 1: How do y'all feel about this? Because it's getting it's
- 19:16Speaker 1: literally getting out of control. I think it's been out
- 19:19Speaker 1: of control, especially like when you know, you see guys
- 19:22Speaker 1: like post a photo for the celebrity that they ran
- 19:25Speaker 1: into at the club or forced to take a photo
- 19:27Speaker 1: with them at the club, and they're like, hold my hand, right,
- 19:30Speaker 1: they'd be like we're working, me and Bro working. Bro
- 19:34Speaker 1: Bro said he's been seeing the hunger in my eyes
- 19:36Speaker 1: from that's the cloud face and I can't say that's
- 19:40Speaker 1: what I'm talking. Hold my hand again, do the post
- 19:44Speaker 1: and then the other person be looking down or the
- 19:45Speaker 1: other way. Pay attention to the eyes. Man Can Burns
- 19:48Speaker 1: always called me and say, pay attention to the eye,
- 19:52Speaker 1: pay attention take that photo. The person don't even want
- 19:58Speaker 1: to take the photo. You can tell looking at they
- 20:00Speaker 1: are a lot of times they don't want And I
- 20:02Speaker 1: want to just I want to say this to all
- 20:04Speaker 1: the people that you've just described. At the end of
- 20:07Speaker 1: the day, if you're not making no money with the person,
- 20:11Speaker 1: or you don't actually know the person, it ain't a celebration.
- 20:16Speaker 1: It's not a celebration because at some point it's gonna
- 20:19Speaker 1: be called, like you're gonna get called on your actions.
- 20:21Speaker 1: But see this is again social media for people are
- 20:24Speaker 1: so quick to forget real life because of social media.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Those those are the same people holding up a bottle
- 20:32Speaker 1: of four ninety nine Andre Champagne as if they don't
- 20:36Speaker 1: something with it that irks my soul, Like what style
- 20:42Speaker 1: speaking nine I just saw on sale for four nine
- 20:46Speaker 1: did y'all see one nine or Hey, ladies and gentlemen.
- 20:57Speaker 1: D dudes be real friendly. I've been paying attention, like
- 21:01Speaker 1: even in the clubs, Like, dude's been way more friendly
- 21:03Speaker 1: than the girls. Hey, bro, come friendly and they be
- 21:08Speaker 1: fighting to get in the section to sit down. Oh yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I never really liked while looking at a section full
- 21:13Speaker 1: of guys, like I'd rather see a section for the
- 21:17Speaker 1: beautiful women. Or if it's guys in the section, they're
- 21:19Speaker 1: standing up to the sub stand on the couches. Let
- 21:22Speaker 1: them have the ones, the ones that are acting crazy, yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you can get them out, but I'm just saying the
- 21:27Speaker 1: ones that just let them, girl look cute, you know
- 21:30Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Look, let the DJ play their favorite song.
- 21:32Speaker 1: And I just never paid attention to guys. A whole
- 21:35Speaker 1: bunch of guys in one section. It's like when you
- 21:38Speaker 1: is It's like when you're in high school and you're
- 21:40Speaker 1: trying to figure your life out and you're trying to,
- 21:42Speaker 1: you know, see what's high, what's now it works for you,
- 21:45Speaker 1: what doesn't. Just imagine all these people that's coming up
- 21:48Speaker 1: in this age of social media who are looking in
- 21:50Speaker 1: their phones every single second of the day and they're
- 21:53Speaker 1: trying to figure out what's cool and what's not. So
- 21:55Speaker 1: that's how you develop those people who are trying to
- 21:58Speaker 1: get into sections and whatever. The dudes, you know what
- 22:01Speaker 1: I'm saying, because they think it's cool, it's sad because
- 22:03Speaker 1: you don't have the right people around you. Like I
- 22:05Speaker 1: don't feel as though if you had people around you
- 22:07Speaker 1: that helped you feel secure, helped you find your place.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I think you look at other people and be like, oh,
- 22:12Speaker 1: that's cool for you. You should be okay seeing what
- 22:15Speaker 1: other people are doing and not trying to force yourself
- 22:17Speaker 1: to be something you're not because it shows. It shows.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But just think about it. You know what I'm saying,
- 22:24Speaker 1: and looking at this and you know how crazy it
- 22:27Speaker 1: could get. No listen, Nipsey. Nipsey said it best, since
- 22:32Speaker 1: when the real niggas come second, Like I'd be looking
- 22:35Speaker 1: at all the fake, lying, cheating, dishonest goofies out here,
- 22:42Speaker 1: seemingly women, but a part women, A part of it
- 22:47Speaker 1: is if we keep like people's definition of what a
- 22:51Speaker 1: real nigga is or trail nigg or whatever the case is,
- 22:55Speaker 1: it's usually a savage, a liar, uh, somebody who might
- 22:59Speaker 1: be thinking it's never a person that that's like a
- 23:03Speaker 1: good person. No, no, I think, but I think we're
- 23:07Speaker 1: gonna use if we're going to examples real man. He
- 23:11Speaker 1: never exactly, he never disowned gang he was he said,
- 23:15Speaker 1: I'm a gang member. I'm just not gang banging no more.
- 23:18Speaker 1: He I mean, he exactly. But that's real, real man,
- 23:23Speaker 1: real woman. Let's just say real took care of that thing.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Ye spoke, spoke, spoke words of importance into his community.
- 23:32Speaker 1: And I just think that we're gonna get into Kodak Black,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but like, this is the problem with this generation. Like
- 23:39Speaker 1: Kodak Black, he jumps out there super disrespectful, like super disrespectful,
- 23:46Speaker 1: and oh, you can't apologize because guess what you are
- 23:50Speaker 1: ignorant person, period And what's up? Did you not exactly?
- 23:58Speaker 1: But this is my point, this is why we can't
- 24:00Speaker 1: allow it's like apologized. That's what I'm saying. I'm hold
- 24:08Speaker 1: that Georgia Park was directed towards the people who was
- 24:13Speaker 1: not even not only to everybody was You gotta keep
- 24:15Speaker 1: in mind though he's still a hood nigg at the
- 24:16Speaker 1: end of the day, he's still ignorant. And this say
- 24:19Speaker 1: is this is not pertaining to anyone in this room.
- 24:21Speaker 1: This is pertaining to the gangsters that was calling him out. So,
- 24:24Speaker 1: oh yeah, you're calling me out. Okay, you know, you
- 24:27Speaker 1: know my towards schedule, pull up on me. Y'all could
- 24:30Speaker 1: have called me. So at the end of the day,
- 24:32Speaker 1: he did say that y'all could have called me. That,
- 24:35Speaker 1: y'all could have called me. And we're talking about real
- 24:37Speaker 1: niggas in the last the last thing we're talking about,
- 24:40Speaker 1: y'all could have called me. Tip why you didn't call me?
- 24:42Speaker 1: But again, but again, but again. Back to social media.
- 24:47Speaker 1: The best way to get at somebody the quickest is
- 24:50Speaker 1: by posting, because everybody is calling me. No, no no, no, no no, no,
- 24:53Speaker 1: the quickest. No. First of all, he not answered. I
- 24:56Speaker 1: don't I don't know him. You might know him, I
- 24:58Speaker 1: don't know him. He don't want that. He don't want
- 25:01Speaker 1: no smoke like that. If you do, you're going to
- 25:05Speaker 1: get it. This has been prophecy for every rapper that's
- 25:07Speaker 1: been doing this dumb ship in the history of rap music.
- 25:10Speaker 1: If you really want that smoke, this this is my point.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I'm listen, I'm hoping. I'm hoping not because at the
- 25:15Speaker 1: end of the day, you write a phone call is
- 25:18Speaker 1: way more easier and real o gs not that they're
- 25:22Speaker 1: gonna call you. She doesn't want it though, right, But no, no,
- 25:29Speaker 1: I'm just saying, don't you call me? You know what
- 25:33Speaker 1: what I'm saying is, what I'm saying is it's a difference.
- 25:36Speaker 1: It is a different time. No, it's a different time.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It's not it's not a difference. It's not a difference
- 25:40Speaker 1: with the phone call being more important from the person
- 25:43Speaker 1: you respect. But he clearly doesn't respect anybody. So when
- 25:47Speaker 1: we talked about Tip, and this is one of the
- 25:49Speaker 1: honest Tip does things because he wants to get out
- 25:52Speaker 1: ahead of it. I feel a lot of the times
- 25:54Speaker 1: what he said was absolutely correct. It could have been
- 25:57Speaker 1: a phone call. But that's how Tip rose, That's how
- 25:59Speaker 1: Tip moves. Remember Tipped the same thing with Little Wayne too.
- 26:02Speaker 1: That's your I'm with you, I'm with you, but let's
- 26:05Speaker 1: get off. Let's get off. The Tip Da is an idiot.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Kodak is an idiot that got all these idiots to me.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You think about this. Kodak has done interviews where he
- 26:14Speaker 1: says celebrities have tried to mentor and teach them things,
- 26:16Speaker 1: and he flat out said I don't need it I
- 26:18Speaker 1: don't want it. Times you're gonna call somebody to check them.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Before you're done calling, just say it's just Justin incredible.
- 26:25Speaker 1: They're not playing his music on one tho six. That's
- 26:27Speaker 1: the best way to get rid of these, Okay, but
- 26:32Speaker 1: exactly because he is a he is a goofy. First
- 26:35Speaker 1: of all, you your your apology, the way you talk,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and your son is in the car. Your son is
- 26:40Speaker 1: in the car. You're wishing all this made him on
- 26:43Speaker 1: you and your son is in the car. You don't
- 26:45Speaker 1: even deserve no more attention. You're an idiots that, Yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 1: But my point is we the controllers of culture that
- 26:56Speaker 1: like Justin Incredible. If I'm saying his name is right
- 26:58Speaker 1: one tho six in l A like big Boy came,
- 27:01Speaker 1: no more, no more, no more excuses, or it's sorry,
- 27:06Speaker 1: no more excuses, or no more excusing you as well,
- 27:08Speaker 1: there's no more. You're over, You've done. Your body of
- 27:10Speaker 1: work is so disrespectful the culture, to our women, to
- 27:15Speaker 1: our falling soldier. Clearly you said things about the LGBT
- 27:20Speaker 1: that they don't they're not with but it's but my
- 27:22Speaker 1: point is, like you're just you're you're ignorant to the
- 27:24Speaker 1: point of no fixing. If you don't want to grow
- 27:27Speaker 1: and learn from going to jail almost losing your career,
- 27:30Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, And now you're going at
- 27:33Speaker 1: it's just to me, it's just we gotta get rid
- 27:35Speaker 1: of some of these people in a way that is
- 27:37Speaker 1: not violent, that is not detrimental to life, and their
- 27:41Speaker 1: families are hurting for it. But until you play the
- 27:44Speaker 1: game right, you can't handle more players on the radio.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Until you're thro the streaming services cutting you. The streaming
- 27:49Speaker 1: service can cut you. You You know that they don't have
- 27:50Speaker 1: to play your music. People don't have to do nothing.
- 27:53Speaker 1: And if you, if you were smart, you think about
- 27:56Speaker 1: the powers that being why they're allowing you to be
- 27:58Speaker 1: a comb They are allowing you to be a cool
- 28:00Speaker 1: because they want you to go out here and be
- 28:02Speaker 1: so negative and disruptive where you're looking crazy that let
- 28:06Speaker 1: me interrupt. My thing is if we don't try, just
- 28:11Speaker 1: like what we were saying with Kanye, I'm not comparing
- 28:13Speaker 1: it to I'm just saying we don't try to fix
- 28:15Speaker 1: him or someone, don't try to contact him. All what's
- 28:19Speaker 1: gonna happen is he's not gonna rap no more. You're
- 28:21Speaker 1: gonna go back and he's gonna be a statistic. That's
- 28:23Speaker 1: all that's gonna happen, exactly how many chances he deserved.
- 28:27Speaker 1: And Florida, I don't I don't think. I don't think
- 28:29Speaker 1: you had to flo that floor to word cracker. That's
- 28:31Speaker 1: a Florida word. That's why. But I'm just saying saying, like,
- 28:34Speaker 1: what's what's the line? He crossed the line? What's not
- 28:38Speaker 1: defending them at all. I'm just saying he crossed the line.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like for Tip and Tip's my g
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm just saying I would have called him. I'm not
- 28:45Speaker 1: even I'm not posting nothing on social media. I would
- 28:48Speaker 1: not just saying none of that that happens from Hey,
- 28:51Speaker 1: my nigga, you and Georgia. What's happening to hey, bro,
- 28:54Speaker 1: take that live down all that ship. You need to
- 28:56Speaker 1: say something, I'm gonna say something. I'm not putting nothing
- 28:58Speaker 1: on social media, bro, But that's just that's what courtion
- 29:01Speaker 1: to you is how how how many chances? No, he
- 29:05Speaker 1: doesn't listen, But let's let's take him off of the public,
- 29:08Speaker 1: public platform. Let's let's stop, you know, blasting his music,
- 29:12Speaker 1: allowing him to be disrespectful to all his communities that
- 29:15Speaker 1: you name. But on the back end, somebody be there
- 29:18Speaker 1: for him. What is that? That's why I said, he said,
- 29:20Speaker 1: she said, pay him no mind. That's why I said,
- 29:22Speaker 1: I'm not addressing that on a public phone. But calling
- 29:25Speaker 1: him is not not addressing it. It's accusing him though
- 29:27Speaker 1: nobody even knows I'm having exactly. And then if he
- 29:30Speaker 1: listens to me, takes it down and he makes an apology.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Mission accomplished. You don't need a credit. I don't even
- 29:36Speaker 1: know about the credit. I think I think I wanted
- 29:39Speaker 1: to put maybe so, but I think some of them
- 29:41Speaker 1: wanted to put out and be like, yeah, be like hey,
- 29:46Speaker 1: anybody that does this, you're gonna get this too. I'm
- 29:48Speaker 1: just around little knuckleheads all the time, so I know
- 29:51Speaker 1: how they think this is a millennial thing. He don't
- 29:53Speaker 1: give a funk. He don't. But you gotta understand, you
- 29:55Speaker 1: gotta try to channel that energy someways because he has
- 29:58Speaker 1: influenced so when and you got y'all gotta understand, he
- 30:01Speaker 1: has influenced. So if we can get him to figure
- 30:05Speaker 1: it out, he can scale it back. He can influence
- 30:08Speaker 1: a lot more. All what I'm saying is he can
- 30:15Speaker 1: help more than he damages. So okay, we're in fall
- 30:18Speaker 1: as a culture for perpetuating bullshit, but we have to
- 30:22Speaker 1: check our own I'm getting somewhere. I'm getting somewhere. Yeah,
- 30:26Speaker 1: I'm getting somewhere. So we as a culture, we you know,
- 30:30Speaker 1: we do this to ourselves, right and Big Boy said
- 30:34Speaker 1: it in his thing too, we have to start having
- 30:36Speaker 1: some type of systems in order. Like back in the day,
- 30:39Speaker 1: it was ordered. You just didn't get out of pocket
- 30:41Speaker 1: for sake of getting out of pocket, you know what
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm saying. And ain't nobody trying to control. It was
- 30:45Speaker 1: just parameters put in place so as a culture we
- 30:48Speaker 1: could be whole. And now because of social media, anybody
- 30:52Speaker 1: the troll the trolls now run the world. The trolls
- 30:55Speaker 1: now run the world. The trolls are tmz. The trolls
- 30:58Speaker 1: are these media channels that looked for every little thing
- 31:02Speaker 1: to amplify. So, knowing that being as smart as he is,
- 31:06Speaker 1: because I would hate to believe he's that ignorant, I
- 31:08Speaker 1: just think that he's doubling down to ignor because you
- 31:10Speaker 1: know that's for selling. Because I myself said on this
- 31:14Speaker 1: show before that, oh, I believe him now as an
- 31:16Speaker 1: artist because of his performance. I think it was Jimmy
- 31:19Speaker 1: Kimmel when I came right. You recently said that very recently. Yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 1: so my my, my thing, my thing is like it
- 31:26Speaker 1: wasn't two weeks, it was probably like some months ago,
- 31:30Speaker 1: whatever it was. I said, I believe him as an
- 31:32Speaker 1: artist because I saw him perform on Jimmy Kimlan. Oh
- 31:35Speaker 1: my God, like he had a whole meaningful moment with me.
- 31:38Speaker 1: But then it's like, but it's the thirst for change
- 31:41Speaker 1: and then make a nipsey. I just think that. That's
- 31:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You're gonna come out with that we're done.
- 31:46Speaker 1: We're tired of it. We are tired of our children
- 31:49Speaker 1: having to listen to this and see this, and us
- 31:51Speaker 1: seeing our kids act like that like we're done. We're
- 31:54Speaker 1: tired of that. I don't want to see it. And
- 31:55Speaker 1: I think to cultural y'all, I want to say this.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I don't think we should ever give up on anyone
- 32:00Speaker 1: until they've given up on themselves. And I'm not saying,
- 32:04Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying like that, boy, I'm just saying,
- 32:06Speaker 1: we can't allow it to happen, so it has to
- 32:09Speaker 1: waste your time on it. Yeah, I can't trying to
- 32:12Speaker 1: help themselves. We need to be focused on that. Like
- 32:16Speaker 1: I can't help you get rich, famous, all these things
- 32:19Speaker 1: while you're doing that talk like that to my community.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I can't allow that. I can't support it anymore when
- 32:24Speaker 1: when people like Nipcy get murdered for doing the right
- 32:27Speaker 1: thing and being real and being honest. So uh, but yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 1: it's a conversation. We got to continue to have balling
- 32:35Speaker 1: Nation because you know, Nitsey's death wasn't awakening. We have
- 32:40Speaker 1: to be more conscious and responsible. We have to. We
- 32:44Speaker 1: have to, There's no way around it. And to keep
- 32:46Speaker 1: supporting like NBA young boy. You know what I'm saying,
- 32:49Speaker 1: Like these types of artists cannot get support anymore until
- 32:53Speaker 1: they I mean, and as good of an artist as
- 32:56Speaker 1: they might be, they can't continue to get support on
- 33:00Speaker 1: that level. If you're not trying to better yourself, you
- 33:03Speaker 1: are hurting the culture. It's bigger than you. And that's
- 33:06Speaker 1: all I gotta say about that. Now it's tied for
- 33:08Speaker 1: baller Man. That's today's baller Mail. My boyfriend. My boyfriend
- 33:14Speaker 1: and I've been dating for a year and a half.
- 33:16Speaker 1: When we met, he knew I liked the smoke weed
- 33:19Speaker 1: on a daily basis, and he never mentioned a problem
- 33:25Speaker 1: with it. Fast forward three months into our relationship, he
- 33:28Speaker 1: tells me he wants me to stop smoking weed or
- 33:30Speaker 1: he doesn't want to be with me. At the time
- 33:32Speaker 1: of my life, I thought I could quit and agreed
- 33:34Speaker 1: to quit. Fast forward again, and I did quit for
- 33:38Speaker 1: three months, but ended up started smoking again just because
- 33:42Speaker 1: I genuinely like this, like to enjoy smoking. So here's
- 33:45Speaker 1: my problem. My boyfriend thinks I quit completely. I did
- 33:48Speaker 1: quit for three months and then I couldn't take it
- 33:52Speaker 1: anymore and I started smoking again. I haven't stopped, so
- 33:55Speaker 1: this whole time, he's been under the impression that I've quit,
- 33:59Speaker 1: and I smoked all the damn time. He doesn't know.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I feel horrible sometimes I have because because I'm having
- 34:05Speaker 1: to lie to him and I don't know what to do.
- 34:09Speaker 1: He says he doesn't want me smoking because I'm in
- 34:12Speaker 1: the state where it's illegal, and with my job, I
- 34:14Speaker 1: can lose it if I get caught. I've been doing
- 34:17Speaker 1: this for years and I've been fine. I don't understand
- 34:20Speaker 1: why this is a big deal. Can you guys help
- 34:22Speaker 1: me with some advice? What do I do. Do I
- 34:25Speaker 1: stop and get over it, or do I just continue
- 34:28Speaker 1: to deal with the consequences. If he find I'm so confused,
- 34:30Speaker 1: Sue Solo, please answer first, because you know she's the participator.
- 34:35Speaker 1: I feel answer that. Let me tell you something. I
- 34:39Speaker 1: was in a relationship one time and we both smoked
- 34:43Speaker 1: and he decided he wanted to quit, and he was like,
- 34:45Speaker 1: you know, you should quit with me, And I was
- 34:46Speaker 1: like okay, and like two weeks like why do I
- 34:50Speaker 1: agree to this? Like that's what you want to do,
- 34:52Speaker 1: That's not what I want to do. Like, so I'm
- 34:54Speaker 1: gonna touch on two points that he made. I totally
- 34:56Speaker 1: understand his concern for wanting you to stop because you
- 34:59Speaker 1: live somewhere with legal I respect that concern that he
- 35:02Speaker 1: has to do. Yeah, And I also respect that he
- 35:04Speaker 1: doesn't want you to lose your job. Um, I don't
- 35:07Speaker 1: think you doing it for years and not getting caught
- 35:10Speaker 1: is a reason for you to keep going, because you
- 35:12Speaker 1: can absolutely get caught. But I mean, it's it's a
- 35:15Speaker 1: difficult thing, like whether it's a legal in your state
- 35:17Speaker 1: or not. I think if you want to participate in
- 35:19Speaker 1: a little little ganja, you should be able to do
- 35:21Speaker 1: that if it's you know what I'm saying, if it
- 35:24Speaker 1: is a relationship and you and this is like a
- 35:27Speaker 1: deal breaker, like he can't get over the fact that
- 35:29Speaker 1: that you smoked and I don't know this, Yeah, I agree,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I agree. I mean, first of all, if if that's
- 35:37Speaker 1: what you do and they like you, or they brought
- 35:40Speaker 1: into it, or you're in a relationship, then they have
- 35:42Speaker 1: to kind of figure it out that if you're on
- 35:43Speaker 1: a crackhead status, what it look what if it becomes legal?
- 35:50Speaker 1: With what he said was it's illegal. What if it
- 35:51Speaker 1: becomes legal the next day? Like is he over it
- 35:54Speaker 1: because it's legal, like you know, well no, his point
- 35:56Speaker 1: was it's easy and she could get a job. Those
- 35:59Speaker 1: were his points. So I'm saying, if it becomes if
- 36:01Speaker 1: it's legal, now like are you But he also did
- 36:04Speaker 1: say the weed or me, Yeah, I'm he don't want
- 36:08Speaker 1: to he don't want to be with you. I'm just saying,
- 36:11Speaker 1: I'm first day I should This is my advice. I
- 36:14Speaker 1: think you should definitely tell you you're smoking. Absolutely, don't lie.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I think you should be telling they' you're smoking again.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Maybe you guys come up with something like hey, man,
- 36:23Speaker 1: at least you try to start smoking once a week
- 36:26Speaker 1: because she seems like she's one of the smokers who's
- 36:29Speaker 1: have to smoke every day. Yeah, I listen. This is
- 36:32Speaker 1: what I got to say about that. How how you
- 36:33Speaker 1: want to get no something? How how do you want
- 36:36Speaker 1: to get? No? No, I want to know no high? No, No,
- 36:40Speaker 1: it's how high? Now I talked about this, I'm not
- 36:43Speaker 1: saying it's particular. It's not really a high she's trying
- 36:45Speaker 1: to get. She's trying to get this is I'm not
- 36:47Speaker 1: talking about her no more. I'm talking about weed smokers.
- 36:50Speaker 1: So we don't bother me. Since that was my advice
- 36:51Speaker 1: to you, honey, like and this might be for you too,
- 36:56Speaker 1: This might be for you to how you want to
- 36:59Speaker 1: get I just want to be weed. No, no smoking weed.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Listen to and I'm speaking from experience. It doesn't that matter.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I smoked, I've gotten high. So I want to know.
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'd like to know how high do you want to be?
- 37:17Speaker 1: I smoked with you? How high? I want to know
- 37:19Speaker 1: how high? Because at a certain point you're high and
- 37:23Speaker 1: you keep smoking. But this is coming from somebody with
- 37:25Speaker 1: a little tolerance, like no, I can I can smoke
- 37:28Speaker 1: all day with you? Don't. Don't do that to me.
- 37:30Speaker 1: She smokes once a day. She just wants smoke once.
- 37:36Speaker 1: But I listen to people who smoke cigarettes. When I
- 37:40Speaker 1: stopped drinking, I might be a weed smoker. I'm not.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not even holding you because you need to.
- 37:45Speaker 1: You need to now, mind you. I don't drink, and
- 37:48Speaker 1: this is I'm glad we're having this conversation. This needs
- 37:50Speaker 1: to come out. I don't drink like I drink to work.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I don't drink during the week. Come to my house,
- 37:56Speaker 1: the best bar in the world. I don't drink at
- 37:59Speaker 1: my house, right. I drink in the club when i'm
- 38:02Speaker 1: being you know, when I have to be festive. Now
- 38:05Speaker 1: I am coming to the point where I'm thinking about
- 38:08Speaker 1: stopping drinking. Like I'm legit, you know, even on Vaca.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I'm just drinking for me. It's like when I do it,
- 38:17Speaker 1: I go in. I don't socially all that do what
- 38:24Speaker 1: it's supposed to do, right, And but I'm thinking, like
- 38:27Speaker 1: when I do smoke, it's I need it's a chill.
- 38:31Speaker 1: It's not you know, all this upper and all this
- 38:33Speaker 1: design and ship y'all got going on the coach. I
- 38:34Speaker 1: don't know about. But when I when I like, when
- 38:37Speaker 1: I like as I like to chill, I like to
- 38:39Speaker 1: get into my bag, and it's all, you know, survibe.
- 38:43Speaker 1: It's just a nice your mind is at ease, and
- 38:47Speaker 1: it's benefits from It's that there's things that are benefits.
- 38:51Speaker 1: That's why I'm thinking about as I transition out of
- 38:54Speaker 1: alcohol drinking, I'm gonna sell it, you know, because I'm
- 38:57Speaker 1: gonna sell it because if you like that, I'm not
- 39:00Speaker 1: telling you. Yeah. But so my point is, you know,
- 39:04Speaker 1: and and that's again back to the how high, because
- 39:07Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. If I'm high, I'm high. There's
- 39:10Speaker 1: no Yeah, you definitely don't get higher like that. We
- 39:14Speaker 1: said no for sure, Like once you are high at
- 39:17Speaker 1: that point, if you're just smoking more, you're just it's
- 39:19Speaker 1: just out of habit at that point because there is
- 39:22Speaker 1: there's no higher, right, there's high unless you get an
- 39:25Speaker 1: edible and smoke. You just dumb. Yeah, you just you're
- 39:30Speaker 1: just dumb high and higher, You're just dumb high. You're
- 39:34Speaker 1: just like all right, I'm so glad that we had
- 39:40Speaker 1: this con because I think I think your your your
- 39:43Speaker 1: person that you just you know, got the d M
- 39:46Speaker 1: from um will benefit from this, but you know, if
- 39:49Speaker 1: it's worth your relationship, you know, please keep the DNS.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Bodies are funny and half time for coming and Cree.
- 40:03Speaker 1: We have been talking about Nipsey NonStop and the disrespect
- 40:07Speaker 1: that Kodak Black put out there in the streets, and
- 40:09Speaker 1: the screets are responding. This is from big boy at
- 40:13Speaker 1: a big boy Okay, alright, so I'll start from the dock.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I won't disrespect my timeline posting a pick of Kodak Black. However,
- 40:24Speaker 1: I will say this, I'm not here for the blatant
- 40:27Speaker 1: disrespect and fake ass apologables. To disrespect the King Nick
- 40:31Speaker 1: Nipsey and the Queen Lauren is where I draw the line.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Hip Hop has been very disrespectful lately. Not only is
- 40:38Speaker 1: the disrespect to hip hop, but this disrespect, this is
- 40:41Speaker 1: disrespectful to a beautiful human being, spirit and a legacy.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Sometimes I feel a certain way, but I don't publicly
- 40:47Speaker 1: speak out. I just don't funk with a person, place,
- 40:50Speaker 1: or thing. This one. I can't just keep in a
- 40:53Speaker 1: person on a personal chill. I've been a child of
- 40:56Speaker 1: hip hop for a long time. Hip Hop raised me
- 40:59Speaker 1: and I've is hip hop. I'm not new to this
- 41:02Speaker 1: or fake with this? Okay, I'm a soldier. I'm not
- 41:05Speaker 1: just phone taps and funny interviews. Check my pedigree home
- 41:08Speaker 1: through the whole party. That's just what I felt in
- 41:11Speaker 1: my spirit. I will not stand by and the Kodak
- 41:13Speaker 1: Black come between an allegiance of I have with dear friends.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Nipsey's honor can't be disrespected like this. We must put
- 41:21Speaker 1: a shield around Lauren London and his entire family. The
- 41:26Speaker 1: entire family. Okay, we can't allow these things to happen Nipsey.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Wouldn't we look the other way and forgive too easily.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I'm a black man first, and I love all that
- 41:34Speaker 1: deserved my love. I'm with unity. However, we must discipline
- 41:37Speaker 1: our own as well. I agree that is definitely something
- 41:39Speaker 1: we just said. This isn't about radio or dropping records
- 41:42Speaker 1: that's been done. This is about protecting a legacy and
- 41:45Speaker 1: holding people accountable. This may not change Kodak Black now,
- 41:48Speaker 1: but I pray it changes his or someone's future. For
- 41:52Speaker 1: all those out there that want to disrespect and play
- 41:54Speaker 1: with royalty, I advise you think thrice thrice. Long live
- 41:59Speaker 1: the spirit and knowledge and wisdom of Nipsey hustle. This
- 42:02Speaker 1: has to be the standard forever. The marathon continues, and
- 42:07Speaker 1: in parentheses he says, I'm blocking the bullshit from now on,
- 42:11Speaker 1: trying me put them on goofy time. That's right there.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Facts now. I agree man, and we talked about a
- 42:17Speaker 1: little earlier. It's like they have to be held accountable
- 42:19Speaker 1: now more than ever. We cannot allow the bullshit to continue.
- 42:24Speaker 1: We just can't allow it. We already got trumpet office. Okay.
- 42:27Speaker 1: We don't need people in our community doing some stuff.
- 42:30Speaker 1: It's just like you said, I agree with you, like
- 42:32Speaker 1: a phone call. If he don't accept it, ain't about
- 42:35Speaker 1: hands like that's the problem. That's why Nipsey, did you
- 42:38Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. It's like words got out. You know,
- 42:41Speaker 1: people feelings and emotions. They get so tied up into
- 42:43Speaker 1: what they're feeling and how they're feeling about it that
- 42:45Speaker 1: they gotta feel like they gotta react. Ain't nobody saying that.
- 42:48Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. To be honest with you,
- 42:52Speaker 1: I was just having this conversation with Jessica at my
- 42:55Speaker 1: son's tournament. I was watching how the white people were
- 42:59Speaker 1: walking into you know the thing, and then you get
- 43:02Speaker 1: in there when I say you're going to these basketball games,
- 43:04Speaker 1: they'd be fighting, parents be rushing the I mean, it's crazy,
- 43:08Speaker 1: Like AU basketball has gotten crazy, but that's us. It
- 43:13Speaker 1: ain't when I was the white people. And it's like
- 43:16Speaker 1: this the first game, the dude gout pushed swan. The
- 43:23Speaker 1: lady comes out the stands and hits the little boy.
- 43:27Speaker 1: The lady and I'm like, these are fifthy they look
- 43:30Speaker 1: like grown ass men, but they fifteen and fourteen years old,
- 43:33Speaker 1: Like like, let the let the men. I'm sorry, all
- 43:37Speaker 1: women or whoever can break it up in this menag
- 43:40Speaker 1: go and handle it. But like this girl came, no questions,
- 43:44Speaker 1: she saw whoever she was affiliated with. But that's the
- 43:47Speaker 1: mentality of black folk. Even me, protect yours at all.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Carts get some slick gets said, you're reacting. Obviously, as
- 43:56Speaker 1: you get older, you learn that that's not the way.
- 43:58Speaker 1: But my problem is, my problem is these young and
- 44:03Speaker 1: is have no they have no fear with violence, they
- 44:07Speaker 1: have no fear with death. They have no fear with
- 44:09Speaker 1: a scrap or fade or getting whatever shootout. They're not
- 44:12Speaker 1: scared of that. See, back in the day, you would
- 44:14Speaker 1: be fearful of that. You would be fearful of that
- 44:17Speaker 1: if you weren't from that now, I think the only
- 44:19Speaker 1: way to teach them lessons is to take away they
- 44:23Speaker 1: You can't we know, we're not playing your music that way.
- 44:25Speaker 1: You can't make no money, you can't you can't be heard.
- 44:27Speaker 1: And that's what I That's why I like what Big
- 44:30Speaker 1: Boys said. That's why I like with just an incredible deal.
- 44:33Speaker 1: That's what I like about the people that like Tanks video.
- 44:35Speaker 1: It was like, Yo, you might want to listen to
- 44:37Speaker 1: the person next to you because I know somebody saying something.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I think phone calls now, But I'm just saying, like
- 44:43Speaker 1: I'm not trying to defend code that, I'm just saying
- 44:45Speaker 1: I understand them a little bit because I'm from the
- 44:47Speaker 1: same condition he comes from. Like it's a war zone
- 44:50Speaker 1: down there, it's like Vietnam, Like the areas that he
- 44:53Speaker 1: can that he comes from. He doesn't come from a
- 44:57Speaker 1: very well established neighborhood. He comes from areas where death
- 45:00Speaker 1: that happens all the time. All his homeboys are dead
- 45:02Speaker 1: or in jail. So you got to think about an
- 45:04Speaker 1: ignorant person doing something ignorant and then someone does something
- 45:08Speaker 1: to him or like calls him out he's going to
- 45:10Speaker 1: respond how he responded, right, and get that. We just
- 45:14Speaker 1: don't want that. We just don't want that. But it
- 45:16Speaker 1: also has to be someone to also say something to him,
- 45:19Speaker 1: a bro, you're sucking up for people have Yeah, this
- 45:24Speaker 1: is bad. Anything he said exactly, I know that. I'm
- 45:32Speaker 1: still has to go in and say, just like y'all
- 45:34Speaker 1: was on saying the same with Kay, I'm just saying
- 45:37Speaker 1: like he's actually even in the bad. He's in a
- 45:40Speaker 1: situation where you around, Yeah, but I come from that. Sorry,
- 45:43Speaker 1: I come from that, and you don't have to say
- 45:44Speaker 1: that way he wants to be in the ignorant project.
- 45:48Speaker 1: It's not. Part of the issue with this generation is
- 45:50Speaker 1: this generation is raised by the people that are saying
- 45:52Speaker 1: you can be anything you want as long as you
- 45:54Speaker 1: just read. We're just making these kids whatever they want
- 45:57Speaker 1: to be without work. That's what the man I'm just saying.
- 46:00Speaker 1: This generation also thinks that social media is a way
- 46:03Speaker 1: to express yourself, which is told me that's not how
- 46:07Speaker 1: you should expecially Yeah, and it's a limited time because
- 46:10Speaker 1: y'all out here with all these games and ship what
- 46:12Speaker 1: y'all gonna do this? And and think the police ain't
- 46:14Speaker 1: watching you don't take the CIA Instagram don't have all
- 46:19Speaker 1: of this footage? Are you talking crazy on Instagram? You
- 46:22Speaker 1: could be anything you want to be, is what everybody believes.
- 46:25Speaker 1: And they don't understand the work that goes behind it.
- 46:27Speaker 1: They don't understand the level of respect that you have
- 46:29Speaker 1: to have for the O G s. They don't have
- 46:31Speaker 1: an understanding of how you have families. This is what
- 46:34Speaker 1: the issue is. Yeah, like they that's the problem. Somebody
- 46:38Speaker 1: gotta tell them that. But we can understand. It's hard
- 46:40Speaker 1: to tell them that when we make them rest, you
- 46:42Speaker 1: keep The thing is you keep saying that and we agree.
- 46:47Speaker 1: But they've been telling them and now it's time for action.
- 46:49Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about hand zone. I ain't talking
- 46:52Speaker 1: about hurting. I'm talking about we as the gatekeepers, the
- 46:55Speaker 1: people that are hitting. You got to but that's the
- 46:58Speaker 1: only way they're gonna learn the designer and if that
- 47:02Speaker 1: and a lot of times when that happens, you do
- 47:04Speaker 1: learn and you do it. You know what, because ain't
- 47:06Speaker 1: like hes not talented. Nobody's questioning that. But when you
- 47:09Speaker 1: get when you when your ship has stripped away, because bro,
- 47:12Speaker 1: you're here to day and gone tomorrow. Music and every
- 47:15Speaker 1: other thing sports and it's a young man's game. You
- 47:18Speaker 1: know I'm talking a young woman's game, and it's not
- 47:21Speaker 1: here to be played with. Your time is limited anyway,
- 47:24Speaker 1: and then you want to wish death and mayhem and
- 47:26Speaker 1: all other types of other unnecessary you know what I'm saying.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Ship onto your persons. You will get your slice a
- 47:33Speaker 1: humble pie, absolutely period. Get it now while people are
- 47:37Speaker 1: willing to call you and take the time to say
- 47:40Speaker 1: what they need to say on the same platform that
- 47:42Speaker 1: you used to spell it ignorance, or get it later
- 47:44Speaker 1: when it's too late. And speaking of humble Pie, it's
- 47:48Speaker 1: now time for Kingfucious ball Nation again. You must see
- 47:55Speaker 1: this Beyonce home coming trailer because it is massiveful to
- 48:00Speaker 1: say the least. I am looking forward to the special
- 48:03Speaker 1: and can't wait to amplify the whole contribution when it's time.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Um My Angelus said something in there that really struck
- 48:10Speaker 1: a chord with me this morning, and it said tell
- 48:14Speaker 1: the truth, and tell the truth to yourself first. I
- 48:18Speaker 1: think a lot of these problems can be avoided if
- 48:22Speaker 1: you could just look in the mirror and talk to
- 48:26Speaker 1: yourself about what you know you should or should not
- 48:30Speaker 1: be doing you see, because the truth is something you
- 48:33Speaker 1: can run from. You can be whoever you want on Instagram,
- 48:36Speaker 1: and you can put yourself out there as something you're not.
- 48:40Speaker 1: But eventually, like both Rory and Sue said, the truth
- 48:45Speaker 1: is coming back to get you. I tell you said
- 48:48Speaker 1: that too, So go forth, balling Nation. You gotta get
- 48:52Speaker 1: in line with the truth because ladies and gentlemen, the
- 48:55Speaker 1: truth will set you free. We'll see you next time.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Bailer alert. Peace, but the boy like because the true
- 49:03Speaker 1: is real.
