- 0:11Speaker 2: and Rich. It's time for War of the Roses. You
- 0:12Speaker 2: think someone's cheating on you, so you come to us
- 0:14Speaker 2: and we'll hear your story that we're gonna find out.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We'll call them up. We'll offer the dude a dozen
- 0:18Speaker 2: red roses, romantic red roses. He could send them to anybody.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Hopefully he sends them to you. Trish, good morning, How
- 0:23Speaker 2: are you? What's your story?
- 0:26Speaker 3: I'm calling about my husband and I First, I just
- 0:30Speaker 3: I can't believe I'm doing this. I will tell you guys,
- 0:32Speaker 3: I called and hung up like twenty times before I
- 0:35Speaker 3: officially let it wrig all the way.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Well, I wish you wouldn't do that, because then we
- 0:39Speaker 2: think we have phone problems, because we have a history
- 0:42Speaker 2: of phone problems, and then it's like they were on
- 0:45Speaker 2: hold they call phones or not. But anyway, go ahead.
- 0:48Speaker 2: So what happened. I'm glad you did call it and
- 0:50Speaker 2: get through.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I am too. He's been going to these work
- 0:54Speaker 3: trips lately and he's had this same job for eight
- 0:57Speaker 3: years and he's never i mean never gone on any
- 1:01Speaker 3: work trips before. So I'm like, what the hell in
- 1:05Speaker 3: the mail? You got a Venmo debit card?
- 1:08Speaker 4: What do you mean that for?
- 1:09Speaker 3: When you get physical Venmo called for? And second of all,
- 1:13Speaker 3: it didn't even have the correct name on it. So
- 1:16Speaker 3: I'm just really confused, and I want you to call
- 1:19Speaker 3: him and try to put him on the spot, because
- 1:20Speaker 3: when I do it, I don't get anything.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Sounds like junk mail to me. I mean, why would
- 1:24Speaker 2: Vemo have a credit card? That's the purpose of Venmo
- 1:26Speaker 2: to not have exactly right, it's all it's all online,
- 1:29Speaker 2: it's all apps, it's all the purpose of and again
- 1:32Speaker 2: everything keeps going back, coming back around.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Right, everything's full circle.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I heard everyone wants people want phones connected the walls again.
- 1:39Speaker 6: Yeah, right here there are like you, they actually have
- 1:42Speaker 6: those for like your kid's first phone.
- 1:44Speaker 7: It's like this straight up old school.
- 1:47Speaker 2: But it's like the purpose of Venmo is to so
- 1:49Speaker 2: you don't have to have a wall, you don't have anything.
- 1:51Speaker 2: So now you're telling me that there's a see I'm
- 1:53Speaker 2: thinking maybe that's just junk mail. But hey, we've done
- 1:56Speaker 2: stuff before. Trish we've done a War of the Roses
- 1:58Speaker 2: because someone had a dream that their husband was cheating.
- 2:00Speaker 2: So no problem. You think you're getting weird mail, that's perfect.
- 2:04Speaker 2: What's your husband's name. How long you guys been married.
- 2:07Speaker 3: We've been married for seven years.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Okay, we'll get him on the phone. We're gonna offer
- 2:10Speaker 2: him a dozen red roses. Who see who he listens to.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Is he in town right now? Is he at work?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Is he on the road, he's actually on a work
- 2:18Speaker 3: trip now like right now?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Okay, perfect, okay, story all right, So we'll get him
- 2:22Speaker 2: on the phone and we'll find out who he sends
- 2:25Speaker 2: the flowers to War the Roses. All right. It continues
- 2:27Speaker 2: next with John Jay and Rich John Jan and Rich
- 2:30Speaker 2: John Jane Rich. We are in the middle of War
- 2:32Speaker 2: of the Roses. Trish thinks to her husband cheating because
- 2:36Speaker 2: he's had this long time job and never had to
- 2:39Speaker 2: go on work trips, and now he's going on war
- 2:40Speaker 2: trips and he's acting kind of weird. And then there
- 2:43Speaker 2: was this weird Venmo credit card I've never heard of before.
- 2:45Speaker 2: They came in the mail. So she's got reasons to
- 2:47Speaker 2: believe that he's doing some suspicious activity.
- 2:49Speaker 8: Am I right, Trish, Yeah, you're right.
- 2:52Speaker 3: And the Venmo card didn't even have the right name
- 2:53Speaker 3: on it.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Okay, so we're gonna call your husband Paul, who you
- 2:57Speaker 2: say is actually on a work trip right now, Holand's
- 3:00Speaker 2: are you ready? I'm ready?
- 3:01Speaker 9: Okay, let's call Paul. Is the longest for you? Doesn't
- 3:43Speaker 9: sound like he's answering you truth. She has always left
- 3:49Speaker 9: the phone, will okay?
- 3:52Speaker 1: All right?
- 3:59Speaker 7: How well, good morning, I'm looking for Paul. Is Paul available?
- 4:04Speaker 10: Sorry?
- 4:05Speaker 11: I think you have the wrong number. This is Patrick's phone?
- 4:09Speaker 7: Patrick is Patrick available? I may be able to give
- 4:12Speaker 7: him the same deal.
- 4:16Speaker 11: I'm getting some coffee. Do you want me to get
- 4:18Speaker 11: a message for him or something?
- 4:21Speaker 3: Cold?
- 4:23Speaker 12: Ah?
- 4:25Speaker 13: Is is Patrick? Is Paul?
- 4:28Speaker 10: There?
- 4:29Speaker 8: You said?
- 4:29Speaker 3: Patrick?
- 4:29Speaker 10: Right?
- 4:31Speaker 11: Yeah? Patrick? I'm sorry? Who are you?
- 4:35Speaker 12: I'm a little conua.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe you're actually with my husband. My husband's
- 4:42Speaker 3: name is Paul. His middle name is Patrick.
- 4:46Speaker 12: Wait, like, who's this is just so crazy? Of course
- 4:56Speaker 12: you wouldn't use his real name.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you're sleeping.
- 4:59Speaker 6: With my husband.
- 5:01Speaker 12: Whoa no, no, no, no, oh my god, no no
- 5:05Speaker 12: no no?

- 6:23Speaker 11: girlfriend or anything. He didn't have a ring or anything.
- 6:27Speaker 12: I swear to god, I never brought it up.

- 9:13Speaker 11: didn't even know that they could do that, and they
- 9:15Speaker 11: caught me crouched over my half felt dresser. Oh my god,

- 11:43Speaker 2: Only downside, I'm now banned for my kia. This person
- 11:48Speaker 2: ran through a really old graveyard on Halloween night totally naked.
- 11:52Speaker 2: This person was walked off into the woods naked within
- 11:55Speaker 2: the National Park and wandered around for a couple of
- 11:56Speaker 2: days before finding civilization again. Someone said they played a
- 12:01Speaker 2: dancing game on Xbox connecting nude. They were home alone

- 12:12Speaker 2: a four seven ari Ella, good morning, by good morning.
- 12:16Speaker 2: What non sexual thing did you do in the nude?
- 12:20Speaker 14: So let me first, I was saying that I live
- 12:22Speaker 14: in a place where the screens head holes in the windows,
- 12:25Speaker 14: and sometimes you would leave the door open for the
- 12:28Speaker 14: air to come through, so that light lit in lots
- 12:31Speaker 14: of flies. And before I had kids, I would sometimes
- 12:35Speaker 14: sleep in the nude, and just the way that flies
- 12:38Speaker 14: like to do, fly and buzz around all over your face.
- 12:42Speaker 14: I just got sick and tired of it. So I
- 12:44Speaker 14: jumped up. I yelled something like not today, junior, or
- 12:49Speaker 14: today something like that, grabbed the flyswater and started killing
- 12:53Speaker 14: all the flies that I could see. And I'm not
- 12:55Speaker 14: talking just killing. I'm talking like hunting them down and
- 12:59Speaker 14: jumping in the air, hitting them like tennis balls midair,
- 13:02Speaker 14: like and then when it was all done, I just
- 13:05Speaker 14: went back to sleep casually.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Alright. So you killed hundreds of flies in the.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Nude she went hunting.
- 13:14Speaker 8: It was a lot.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I don't know hundreds, all right, Thanks for calling in,
- 13:17Speaker 2: Thank you for listening. Welcome by more of your calls.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Next eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven.
- 13:24Speaker 15: Stop just yelling at the radio.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Call us eight seven seven nine three seven one O
- 13:30Speaker 1: four to seven.
- 13:31Speaker 16: It's John Jay and Ridge.
- 13:33Speaker 2: What's the craziest non sexual thing you've done in the buff?
- 13:38Speaker 2: Eight seven seven nine three seven one o four seven. Brenna, Hello,
- 13:44Speaker 2: what have you done in the nude? Non sexual?
- 13:48Speaker 12: Oh?
- 13:48Speaker 4: So my friends and I decided to have a lake
- 13:52Speaker 4: kay and after a few years, one of my friends
- 13:54Speaker 4: sided to the top lists, so we all decided to
- 13:57Speaker 4: join her. And then I got dared to run into
- 14:00Speaker 4: the lake nude, so I.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Said, sure, why not?
- 14:03Speaker 4: Ran in, turned around, saw the rangers walking down, said
- 14:07Speaker 4: oh no, I'm busted, and they said, we don't really
- 14:09Speaker 4: want to kick you out, but the boy Scouts are here.
- 14:12Speaker 18: They want you to leave my god.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Scouts.
- 14:18Speaker 4: The boy a whole troop of boy Scouts, and then
- 14:22Speaker 4: I had to do the walk of past all of
- 14:24Speaker 4: them before I got kicked out. The rangers came back
- 14:27Speaker 4: and said, we feel bad about kicking you out, but
- 14:29Speaker 4: the boy Scouts said, you probably tripled their turnout.
- 14:32Speaker 18: The next year.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's legend. That boy Scout trip is legendary. In
- 14:39Speaker 2: the history books.
- 14:41Speaker 7: Boy Scout troop leaders are like, how do we explain
- 14:43Speaker 7: this to their parents?
- 14:47Speaker 2: Thanks Brenda, thanks for listening sharing that story. Thank you,
- 14:50Speaker 2: Thank you Sophia. What did you do in the buff?
- 14:55Speaker 2: But it was non sexual?
- 14:57Speaker 8: Oh?
- 14:57Speaker 19: Hi, guys, I had a friend I think we were
- 15:01Speaker 19: like in our late teens, and we just decided one
- 15:06Speaker 19: night it was raining out and it was like warm
- 15:09Speaker 19: out and we decided we were gonna get naked and
- 15:12Speaker 19: run around out in the yard and around the house
- 15:15Speaker 19: in the rain, and then we went back inside. They
- 15:19Speaker 19: had a poll table in their house, and we were
- 15:21Speaker 19: just like, hey, let's play pool.
- 15:25Speaker 2: All right, all right, Well, thank you for sharing that.
- 15:28Speaker 2: There's a story in the news as a sixty two
- 15:30Speaker 2: year old man in Florida was arrested if they're marching
- 15:33Speaker 2: over to his neighbor's house at three am to destroy
- 15:37Speaker 2: a malfunctioning floodlight. So I kind of get it at
- 15:40Speaker 2: his floodlight's just blinking and blinking and blinking. He did
- 15:43Speaker 2: it completely naked except for a watch, a headlamp and
- 15:47Speaker 2: flip flops. You see that?
- 15:51Speaker 5: Actually, how mad do you have to be that you
- 15:52Speaker 5: forget to put clothes on?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Dara? Good morning, Good morning here? What crazy thing did
- 15:58Speaker 2: you do? Non sexual? You were totally naked.
- 16:00Speaker 17: I got locked outside of my hotel room while chaperoning
- 16:03Speaker 17: for my sixth grade son's field trip, and everybody got
- 16:06Speaker 17: a show. So, as you can imagine, that was pretty
- 16:10Speaker 17: traumatic for everybody, and I'm so bummed. I just dropped
- 16:12Speaker 17: my son off because he would love to tell you
- 16:15Speaker 17: guys that actually he would not love to tell you
- 16:17Speaker 17: the story of.
- 16:20Speaker 2: How to get locked out.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:22Speaker 17: So it's a long story, but to put it short
- 16:25Speaker 17: and to try and set the background, we were doing
- 16:27Speaker 17: it an overnight stay at a college, and so we
- 16:32Speaker 17: were in a dorm room. We're staying in dorm rooms.
- 16:34Speaker 17: I had my own and I was going to take
- 16:36Speaker 17: a shower. And so the way that the dorm rooms
- 16:38Speaker 17: were set up is there was two that were in
- 16:41Speaker 17: a locked you know room, I guess, so two bedrooms,
- 16:45Speaker 17: and then the shower was there, but you had to
- 16:47Speaker 17: leave your room to go to the shower. So I
- 16:50Speaker 17: shut my door went to go and take a shower,
- 16:53Speaker 17: and once I got out of the shower, I realized
- 16:54Speaker 17: that I left my towel and my phone and everything
- 16:57Speaker 17: else in the room. So I went to grab it
- 16:59Speaker 17: and the door was locked. Oh yeah, make it's better.
- 17:04Speaker 17: But then I'm looking around and there's nothing to cover me.
- 17:08Speaker 17: I was waiting there for maybe ten minutes with the
- 17:11Speaker 17: door cracked open, trying to see if anybody was walking by,
- 17:14Speaker 17: to ask for help, you know, to see if somebody
- 17:17Speaker 17: can lock the door. And the only thing I was like,
- 17:20Speaker 17: I'm gonna have to make a decision here, and you
- 17:23Speaker 17: were to ask for help, but I had nothing. I
- 17:26Speaker 17: was completely naked, and so the only thing that was
- 17:29Speaker 17: there was those little tiny sea through trash liners. So
- 17:35Speaker 17: there was two of them, and they were tiny, and
- 17:38Speaker 17: again they were see through, so anything that was covered
- 17:42Speaker 17: was not really covered.
- 17:43Speaker 10: So I had to cover myself.
- 17:48Speaker 17: And I knew that there was a mom across the hallway,
- 17:50Speaker 17: so I'm like, no one's come by and forever, I'm
- 17:52Speaker 17: going to make a run for it. So I literally
- 17:55Speaker 17: go right across the hallway and start pounding on her door,
- 18:00Speaker 17: and then I hear my door shut, like the main door,
- 18:03Speaker 17: and so I can't get back in.
- 18:05Speaker 10: It's locked and none.
- 18:07Speaker 17: That's when I hear all these loud boys, six grade
- 18:10Speaker 17: boys coming up the stairs, and I'm like, oh, because
- 18:14Speaker 17: where can you go? There's nothing you can do cover
- 18:18Speaker 17: myself with these little sash liners. And not only was
- 18:22Speaker 17: it my son and his, it was five or six
- 18:24Speaker 17: other boys, it was his teacher and it's principal. No,
- 18:29Speaker 17: oh my god.
- 18:31Speaker 5: They were like, you are no longer allowed of chaperone
- 18:33Speaker 5: on trips.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So boy, so you you are naked, naked, You're totally naked, naked, naked.
- 18:38Speaker 17: Its very very nice to me and my kids since
- 18:42Speaker 17: that day.
- 18:42Speaker 2: So they walk up, you're totally naked, and yeah, do
- 18:48Speaker 2: they someone open the door for you finally or do
- 18:51Speaker 2: you just walking by like.
- 18:52Speaker 16: They don't see you the fun?
- 18:54Speaker 6: No?
- 18:54Speaker 17: No, not So the principal was like, because the boys
- 18:57Speaker 17: are like oh and they're dogs. So the prince was like,
- 19:02Speaker 17: keep going, and he's like, you know, hurting them out
- 19:06Speaker 17: the out the hallway. And then he comes back.
- 19:09Speaker 10: He's like, you could see like I have to go
- 19:12Speaker 10: get a.
- 19:12Speaker 17: Key to get in there downstairs, but you can stay
- 19:14Speaker 17: in my room until I get your key. And so
- 19:18Speaker 17: he let me into his room and gave me a
- 19:20Speaker 17: towel and whatever, and.
- 19:21Speaker 10: So he had me concealed. But yeah, like I said,
- 19:24Speaker 10: he's been very nice.
- 19:25Speaker 2: What a great what a great memory for those boys,
- 19:29Speaker 2: not for her son. How old is your son? How
- 19:32Speaker 2: old is he now? How old is he now?
- 19:34Speaker 10: He's twelve, he's still in sixth grade.
- 19:39Speaker 2: It's so fresh, a beautiful story.
- 19:42Speaker 10: His friends always walk by, they're like, hi, Yeah, that is.
- 19:50Speaker 2: A great, great, fantastic story. Thank you for sharing with us,
- 19:54Speaker 2: made our day.
- 19:55Speaker 10: Thank you for having me.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I can't help, but just think that maybe one of
- 19:58Speaker 1: those boys had something to do with it. Well, lock
- 20:02Speaker 1: the door on the ORO.
- 20:04Speaker 2: If you have any other ones, shoots a call eight
- 20:06Speaker 2: seven seven ninety three seven one four seven or DM
- 20:09Speaker 2: John J. Vaness, John Jay and.
- 20:10Speaker 16: Rich Chaos was a radio show. You're listening to it.
- 20:14Speaker 16: It's John Jay and Rich.
- 20:16Speaker 2: We had a little conversation about John J. Rich merch
- 20:18Speaker 2: because we're gonna drop a whole new merch line with shirts, hats,
- 20:22Speaker 2: hoodies and coffee mugs. And I was telling you how
- 20:25Speaker 2: there's a coffee mug that the lady who runs the
- 20:27Speaker 2: merch site came up with called John Jay and Rich
- 20:29Speaker 2: and then on the other side it says, wake your
- 20:31Speaker 2: ass up. We're like, what are some other things we
- 20:33Speaker 2: can put on our merch And I wasn't sure obviously,
- 20:36Speaker 2: you know, I ain't never had one. Chip is going
- 20:38Speaker 2: to be a phrase? But Sarah, you got an idea
- 20:41Speaker 2: for John Jay and Rich merch.
- 20:44Speaker 8: I do.
- 20:44Speaker 14: I heard you guys talking about it, and I was thinking,
- 20:46Speaker 14: you need a mug that says hello bird.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Hello bird, Hello bird. I forgot about Hello bird. That's
- 20:53Speaker 2: a good one. Hello bird. Now we can say that
- 20:55Speaker 2: all day hello bird.
- 20:56Speaker 7: Yep, thanks Sarah, Sarah, why did you bring that back?
- 20:59Speaker 2: That's a great idea. Have a great day, Debbie, you
- 21:02Speaker 2: got an idea for John Jay and rich Merch?
- 21:06Speaker 18: What do you got really focused on?
- 21:09Speaker 13: So my idea was one of your something to do
- 21:14Speaker 13: with your your theistah one of her sayings or with
- 21:21Speaker 13: your mom.
- 21:23Speaker 10: About Star Wars and Star War.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You know that a new Star War, that Star Wars,
- 21:34Speaker 2: Starbucks and go to Star War and after we'll go
- 21:38Speaker 2: buy you a new shirt at Walmart. Walmart. My mom
- 21:42Speaker 2: never said the last word of certain words, the last
- 21:44Speaker 2: letter for some reason, like yes, is that a Mexican thing?
- 21:49Speaker 15: It probably is, isn't it Mexican thing?
- 21:53Speaker 13: They don't have time for all that.
- 21:57Speaker 2: If I had a shirt or a coffee mug that
- 22:00Speaker 2: did Star Wars, or let's say a T shirt said
- 22:01Speaker 2: star Wars on it, but that but the r S
- 22:04Speaker 2: at the end of Wars was on it. So many
- 22:05Speaker 2: he would be like, what's wrong in your Star Wars shirt? Outside?
- 22:07Speaker 2: My mom said a star War Star War? Thanks Debbie. Thanks,
- 22:12Speaker 2: that's a great idea. Blanca, you have an idea for
- 22:17Speaker 2: John Jay and rich Merch.
- 22:19Speaker 14: Yees, what do you got I sent you it's my child.
- 22:25Speaker 15: Oh yeah, that's so classic.
- 22:27Speaker 12: I love that.

- 22:33Speaker 15: my child is sick.

- 22:54Speaker 15: That's really good. Perfect, someone says John J.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Rich. Longtime listen from Tucson. I've got some more things
- 23:01Speaker 2: for your product in mind defense and documentary. And uh,

- 23:16Speaker 2: Why the hell do you not have this on a
- 23:17Speaker 2: mug or T shirt? This should have been the first
- 23:19Speaker 2: phrase used. Oh here says listen to this, Lord and behold.
- 23:25Speaker 2: That's pretty funny. And of course, whoa Larry, whoa Larry?
- 23:29Speaker 2: We'll put those all a monke Larry, whoa Larry?
- 23:45Speaker 5: Nick?
- 23:45Speaker 2: You got an idea for John Jay and Rich Merch.
- 23:48Speaker 11: I do Christmas wisch, Christmas.
- 23:53Speaker 10: Wish, Christmas?
- 23:55Speaker 12: Why not?
- 23:56Speaker 14: I mean, I've got everything.
- 23:58Speaker 19: I say, Christmas wish on a T shirtat on a mug,
- 24:02Speaker 19: Christmas wish.
- 24:06Speaker 5: I love it.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It's usually it's usually said very casually. Christmas wish.
- 24:10Speaker 12: Oh my god, Christmas wish, Christmas wish.
- 24:15Speaker 2: You're awesome, Nick, thanks for listening. That's a great idea.
- 24:17Speaker 2: We'll do it. Let's just do it.
- 24:19Speaker 11: I can't wait to be the first person who buys it.
- 24:21Speaker 16: Christmas.
- 24:22Speaker 2: We'll put it all right, John J. Rich merch store
- 24:25Speaker 2: dropping soon.
- 24:26Speaker 15: The commercials are vitally over.
- 24:29Speaker 16: Let's get back to John Jay and Rich.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Jah Jay and Rich Our phone numbers eight seven, seven, nine,
- 24:35Speaker 2: three seven, one o four seven. You can call us
- 24:39Speaker 2: and jump on the radio with those. You can also
- 24:40Speaker 2: text us. Text jj R and your number to ninety
- 24:44Speaker 2: six eight ninety three. It's Friday. Yeah time, Good morning, Tanner,
- 24:50Speaker 2: what's up? Hey, morning morning.
- 24:53Speaker 8: So, uh, my sister and I we took our niece
- 24:56Speaker 8: to Disney End for the first time.
- 24:58Speaker 18: She just turned four. She a little cutie, but she
- 25:01Speaker 18: ended up having a meltdown, like right in the middle
- 25:04Speaker 18: of the park, like full on tapper canny. And we're
- 25:08Speaker 18: in a high traffic area, so you know, we're trying
- 25:10Speaker 18: to get her calm down and move out of the
- 25:12Speaker 18: way as fast as we can.
- 25:13Speaker 8: But she's not having it.
- 25:15Speaker 18: But I know that she loves Nicki Minaj's Starships, and
- 25:19Speaker 18: especially loves a dance that I've done in front of
- 25:22Speaker 18: her a few times before. So I pull out my
- 25:25Speaker 18: phone and I pull up Starships on it, and I
- 25:28Speaker 18: started doing the dance right there in front of everybody.
- 25:31Speaker 10: And it.
- 25:33Speaker 8: Works. It calms her down. She starts laughing, and the
- 25:36Speaker 8: rest of the day is great. And that's great.
- 25:38Speaker 18: Everything's awesome.
- 25:40Speaker 8: So tell me why. A couple of days later, my friend.
- 25:43Speaker 18: On TikTok he forwards me a video from some influencer.
- 25:47Speaker 18: And in the back of this influencers video, there I
- 25:50Speaker 18: am dancing around like an idiot.
- 25:54Speaker 7: That's pretty awesome, man, you're the easter egg.
- 26:00Speaker 8: I like, all the comments are about me. In the back.
- 26:04Speaker 2: You said, we're in Disneyland. We're in a high traffic area.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Isn't all of Disneyland a high traffic area? All of Disneylands,
- 26:11Speaker 2: aren't there?
- 26:12Speaker 10: No? No?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Really what I feel a little triggered here.
- 26:17Speaker 8: The the exact thing happened to me like two weeks ago.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Wait, can you come in here and tell it to
- 26:21Speaker 2: us then instead of instead of on the speaker, so
- 26:24Speaker 2: it sounds better for our audience.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Nick Johnson also though, like, what a bummer that Nicki
- 26:29Speaker 5: Minaj has sucked so bad the last couple of years
- 26:32Speaker 5: because she does have hits.
- 26:33Speaker 15: Like yeah, but she doesn't love the hits, like she
- 26:38Speaker 15: gets on my nerves.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Lately, A Tanner, are you still there?
- 26:43Speaker 1: All?
- 26:43Speaker 2: Right? So Tanner does a freaky dance to calm his
- 26:46Speaker 2: niece down at Disneyland. Nick, what happened to you?
- 26:49Speaker 1: So a couple of weeks ago, we discovered a baby
- 26:53Speaker 1: bird in our backyard, right, and yeah, it's really cute.
- 26:57Speaker 1: It's it's so cute that I told my wife like
- 27:00Speaker 1: a thousand times, do not name this bird, because if
- 27:02Speaker 1: you do, when the bird inevitably leaves, it's going to
- 27:06Speaker 1: be a problem.
- 27:08Speaker 7: So then the kids will get attached to it.
- 27:10Speaker 1: We immediately named We immediately named the bird. Uh, my
- 27:16Speaker 1: son named him Brad. About an hour, Brad, the bird
- 27:20Speaker 1: and thea were best friends. They're running around the backyard together.
- 27:23Speaker 1: There's having the best time. And then we went to
- 27:25Speaker 1: the library. When we came back, Brad was gone, and
- 27:29Speaker 1: so he's very upset and I was like, Buddy, you
- 27:31Speaker 1: know it's dark out. You know we'll find Brad tomorrow,
- 27:34Speaker 1: thinking to myself.
- 27:36Speaker 16: I had no way he's gonna remember this well.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Then my wife face tied me the next morning while
- 27:40Speaker 1: I'm here at work, and she was like, THEO can't
- 27:44Speaker 1: stop crying about Brad the bird and he's so upset
- 27:47Speaker 1: about Brad the bird.
- 27:48Speaker 16: But still on FaceTime, I was like, Buddy, I saw
- 27:51Speaker 16: you get out of your bed last night.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I was thinking all these things like make him happy,
- 27:54Speaker 1: make him laugh, And I was like, do you want
- 27:57Speaker 1: me to do an impression of you getting out of
- 28:00Speaker 1: your bed? And he was like sure, And so I
- 28:04Speaker 1: get up and I'm in my office and I'm just like,
- 28:06Speaker 1: it's like a Frankenstein walk is basically what it looked like.
- 28:10Speaker 16: And I kept doing it.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I went back and forth, I think four times, only
- 28:14Speaker 1: to realize as I was doing it that, uh, the
- 28:17Speaker 1: TV hit that Rich and John Jay do every day
- 28:20Speaker 1: was going on at that exact moment, and you could
- 28:23Speaker 1: see me through the window Frankenstein walk to make to
- 28:32Speaker 1: make THEO feel better. And when I realized it, I
- 28:35Speaker 1: was like, oh crap. And I took a video of
- 28:37Speaker 1: it from in the office, so you can also see
- 28:40Speaker 1: me realize at the time.
- 28:41Speaker 2: That it was happening. And then you can see you
- 28:44Speaker 2: on TV. You can see Rich is doing the TV
- 28:46Speaker 2: hit and you're in the background. We got a post. Clear,
- 28:49Speaker 2: We got a post. It is really clear. Did you
- 28:51Speaker 2: tell did you tell THEO that Brad the bird probably
- 28:54Speaker 2: got eaten by Randy the rattlesnake?
- 28:57Speaker 16: I told him. He's with this with his family now
- 29:00Speaker 16: and doesn't know that you play with him.
- 29:01Speaker 15: His mother doesn't want him and he's on his own.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So I his family now. Isn't that what you When
- 29:07Speaker 1: I happened into you, he goes, no, I just want
- 29:10Speaker 1: to play with him. Tanner, you and Nick gotta hang out.
- 29:16Speaker 2: We got Tom Hey, thanks for calling in, Tanner, thanks
- 29:20Speaker 2: for listening.
- 29:21Speaker 8: Thanks for having me.
- 29:22Speaker 2: So you can put that up on our Instagram right now,
- 29:24Speaker 2: Johnjay and Rich let's make it a viral everyone. Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 2: it's one of those things. It's like you said, It's
- 29:28Speaker 2: like Kyle, you were just saying, it's like one of
- 29:30Speaker 2: the Easter egg right, That's the thing that's the big
- 29:32Speaker 2: deal right now, you know, you know what's funny. I
- 29:34Speaker 2: was trying to come up with my own Easter egg,
- 29:35Speaker 2: but it really wouldn't work. It's stupid, but I really
- 29:37Speaker 2: like it. Do you ever try to tag somebody and
- 29:39Speaker 2: the wrong name pops up? Right? I was gonna just
- 29:42Speaker 2: always tag the wrong people from now on that have
- 29:44Speaker 2: nothing to do with my post. Why you know that's
- 29:46Speaker 2: actually kind of close, just because I would type in
- 29:49Speaker 2: like I's say, I was going to tag Kyle, and
- 29:50Speaker 2: I put k Y. Before I get to the Ellie,
- 29:53Speaker 2: it fills in and you see like ten other whatever
- 29:55Speaker 2: like Kevin or whatever, and I'll go, let me tag
- 29:58Speaker 2: them and then see how it works before people go,
- 30:01Speaker 2: why are you tagging me?
- 30:02Speaker 8: Like?
- 30:02Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 30:03Speaker 5: People are just gonna start untagging themselves in your posts.
- 30:06Speaker 2: I thought maybe maybe it's one of those things. Anyway,
- 30:08Speaker 2: go to our Instagram. We should be up in seconds,
- 30:10Speaker 2: John Jay and Rich and see Nick do the Frankenstein
- 30:12Speaker 2: Dance live on TV with no clue that he's live
- 30:15Speaker 2: on TV. John Jay and Rich on Instagram.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You don't when it gets to the last call and
- 30:20Speaker 1: all the dudes kind of start creeping up on you,
- 30:23Speaker 1: we have the solution. Give them the John Jay and
- 30:26Speaker 1: Rich drunk Gial Line six two eight nineteen thirty three.
- 30:31Speaker 16: It's John Jay and.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Rich, John Jay and Rich. Every once in a while
- 30:34Speaker 2: on this show we get kind of like I get
- 30:36Speaker 2: little emotional updates from Peyton, you know, Like I saw
- 30:40Speaker 2: that post you made the other day. It was really
- 30:41Speaker 2: cool post. By the way, we never talked about it
- 30:42Speaker 2: where you had seems like you had a professional photographer
- 30:45Speaker 2: come in here and you were wearing the new John
- 30:47Speaker 2: Jay and Rich merch. But and I was like, this
- 30:48Speaker 2: is really cool. And then you're like four years on
- 30:51Speaker 2: the radio. I didn't know you've been on the air
- 30:52Speaker 2: four years.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Cool?
- 30:53Speaker 12: I know.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Yeah, my best friend Kelsey and I we hit up
- 30:56Speaker 5: Happy Hour and then broke into the studio late at
- 30:58Speaker 5: night and did a little photo shoot. Oh well, that's
- 31:00Speaker 5: did we We didn't really bring.
- 31:01Speaker 2: That's cool you did it, but that is illegal to
- 31:03Speaker 2: come after hours.
- 31:05Speaker 5: It was way after hours.
- 31:07Speaker 2: But that was a really cool photo shoot that you posted.
- 31:09Speaker 2: It's John Jay Ridge on Instagram and it's an end
- 31:11Speaker 2: the year post. I was like, wow, she's been on
- 31:12Speaker 2: there four years. It's cool. And then I was I
- 31:14Speaker 2: was listening to our show yesterday on the podcast and
- 31:16Speaker 2: heard some things you said, like, man, she's really come
- 31:18Speaker 2: a really long way. But then this thing that you're
- 31:22Speaker 2: talking about, share this with us, please, Yeah, I.
- 31:25Speaker 5: Think it's really cool. It's something that I did for
- 31:27Speaker 5: myself seven years ago. I made Basically, I wrote a
- 31:31Speaker 5: letter to myself and I posted it on Facebook so
- 31:33Speaker 5: that I would have it all of the time whenever
- 31:35Speaker 5: I wanted to reference it back, and I usually forget
- 31:38Speaker 5: about it. But on this day every year, it always
- 31:40Speaker 5: pops up in my memory, and every time I see it,
- 31:43Speaker 5: it just makes me so happy and so proud of
- 31:45Speaker 5: the person that I've become and how I was able
- 31:48Speaker 5: to like get through some of the things that I
- 31:49Speaker 5: went through. Because if you really really get to know me,
- 31:52Speaker 5: like there's some things that I've been through it, you
- 31:54Speaker 5: know what I mean. At twenty seven years old, I'm like, dang,
- 31:57Speaker 5: like you really like you really like person, Like you persevered,
- 32:00Speaker 5: you got through it, you did your thing. And at
- 32:02Speaker 5: this time, I was in the worst stage of my
- 32:05Speaker 5: life that I ever had. I was going through a
- 32:07Speaker 5: heartbreak that I thought was like the end of the world.
- 32:09Speaker 5: I weighed ninety pounds as a basketball as basketball player,
- 32:12Speaker 5: as a college athlete. Ninety pounds, Like that's not okay,
- 32:16Speaker 5: you know, like something was really going on there, and
- 32:19Speaker 5: so just also really makes me like look back at
- 32:21Speaker 5: where my life is now and how thankful I am
- 32:23Speaker 5: for my husband Kadem because this post was seven years ago.
- 32:27Speaker 5: We've been together for six years, and I wouldn't be
- 32:30Speaker 5: half the person that I am today if it wasn't
- 32:32Speaker 5: for him, Like he's the one that I truly feel
- 32:34Speaker 5: like saved me from myself.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Will you read it? Is it a long letter?
- 32:38Speaker 5: It's kind of long, yeah, but not really.
- 32:44Speaker 7: Summarize forget it.
- 32:47Speaker 2: I'll just see if you can read it. But I'm like, no, no, no, no,
- 32:50Speaker 2: I don't want you to surmize that. Can you read it?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Is it better to read it to us as a
- 32:54Speaker 2: twenty seven year old looking back, or is it better
- 32:56Speaker 2: to you to read it to us as the twenty
- 32:58Speaker 2: year old?
- 33:00Speaker 5: Probably as the twenty year old.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Okay, well you read it? You say, Do you start
- 33:03Speaker 2: off with, dear Peyton?
- 33:04Speaker 5: I start off with these last four months?
- 33:06Speaker 2: Okay? You ready?
- 33:07Speaker 5: Yeah? Okay, okay, these last four months feel as if
- 33:11Speaker 5: the world has drop kicked me in the face. But
- 33:14Speaker 5: in all honesty, I probably needed it. And as I
- 33:16Speaker 5: sit back and I reflect on my life and where
- 33:18Speaker 5: I'm at right now, in this very moment, the only
- 33:21Speaker 5: thing that comes to mind is how grateful I am
- 33:23Speaker 5: to live the life that I do. I live in
- 33:25Speaker 5: a city that I love. I'm surrounded by people that
- 33:27Speaker 5: I truly adore. I have the resources seet to have
- 33:30Speaker 5: places I need to be Oh my gosh, the ability
- 33:34Speaker 5: to wake up and play a sport that I love,
- 33:36Speaker 5: and the new knowledge and confidence myself to know when
- 33:39Speaker 5: to let that go. In these last four months, I've
- 33:42Speaker 5: probably felt every emotion in the book. I felt grief
- 33:45Speaker 5: and regret to the point where it physically hurt. I
- 33:47Speaker 5: felt love in such an abundance where I literally didn't
- 33:49Speaker 5: know what to do with myself. And I felt as
- 33:51Speaker 5: if I was on top of the world and no
- 33:52Speaker 5: one can bring me down. I've learned how to be
- 33:55Speaker 5: a better friend, I've learned how to be a better daughter,
- 33:57Speaker 5: and I've learned how to do right by others. I'm
- 33:59Speaker 5: hurting and healing the same damn time, and I'm not
- 34:01Speaker 5: exactly sure how that even works. Being twenty is hard,
- 34:04Speaker 5: and trying to figure out what to do with your
- 34:05Speaker 5: life when you thought you had it all figured out.
- 34:07Speaker 5: It is even harder. These last four months, I found myself.
- 34:14Speaker 5: I fought my purpose and I want to express emotions
- 34:17Speaker 5: freely and love endlessly. So here's some pictures and videos
- 34:20Speaker 5: of my life from the last four months with the
- 34:21Speaker 5: memories that make me the happiest. A lot of tears
- 34:23Speaker 5: came before and after some of these, but just know
- 34:25Speaker 5: that the internal growth was there. That's cute when you're.
- 34:28Speaker 15: Starting to get choked up. What were you feeling that
- 34:30Speaker 15: that twenty year old?
- 34:31Speaker 2: What was that?
- 34:32Speaker 15: What were you feeling right there?
- 34:33Speaker 12: I mean, I.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Literally felt like my world was crashing and burning and ending.
- 34:37Speaker 15: Like it's pretty mature though for twenty two, it's pretty insightful.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Well yeah, and I mean I've shared with you guys before,
- 34:43Speaker 5: like when I was in college, like I got admitted
- 34:45Speaker 5: to a help behavioral unit, like I was in the
- 34:47Speaker 5: psych ward for a week and a half.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean that said. I read that.
- 34:57Speaker 15: I've been trying to get Judy to get an endorsement
- 34:59Speaker 15: for us, I word for himself for a long time.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Hey, that was a beautiful letter to yourself or the
- 35:03Speaker 2: way you read it. And I mean, so I'm proud
- 35:05Speaker 2: of you.
- 35:06Speaker 3: It was great.
- 35:06Speaker 2: In fact, I got a little emotional, but I pulled
- 35:08Speaker 2: myself back to that. When I get emotional, I look
- 35:10Speaker 2: at Kyle and then I laugh. It would be cool
- 35:12Speaker 2: for you to do what kind No, because I was
- 35:14Speaker 2: watching you with a serious face. K makes me laugh
- 35:20Speaker 2: so much.
- 35:21Speaker 15: You should write a letter to yourself now for later.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Actually, what I do on this pacide.
- 35:25Speaker 2: You write a letter to rich and tell him to
- 35:26Speaker 2: tell you, not to tell you what to.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Do right, to stop it. No, I actually re share
- 35:30Speaker 5: this post every day, so over the lasty day, over
- 35:33Speaker 5: every year, so over the last six years, like I do,
- 35:36Speaker 5: like little status updates, you know what I mean, Like
- 35:39Speaker 5: where I am right now. But yeah, it's just crazy
- 35:42Speaker 5: to think about, like where I was as a freshman
- 35:44Speaker 5: in college, and then to see where I was ending
- 35:46Speaker 5: up my senior year of college, and then to see
- 35:48Speaker 5: where I am now, Like I'm just a completely different person,
- 35:52Speaker 5: but the best parts of me are still here, you
- 35:54Speaker 5: know what I mean.
- 35:55Speaker 2: You're so well spoken. That's so well said. And I
- 35:58Speaker 2: love that you use the word abundant. That's a cool word.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I don't think people use that word enough in speach.
- 36:04Speaker 15: Oh, it's it's nice in speaking.
- 36:06Speaker 7: Pick out John Jay, so.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yesterday somebody used a word in front of me and
- 36:09Speaker 2: I wrote it down to use later on you guys.
- 36:10Speaker 15: Oh yeah, what is it?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Modular?
- 36:12Speaker 5: Oh?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Nice? Go ahead, I'm just gonna drop it at some
- 36:14Speaker 2: point you go. You'll see, like Payton's letter was pretty modular.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know if it applies there.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I asked you what I meant and said, I said,
- 36:22Speaker 2: I saw it to me. He says, like you could
- 36:23Speaker 2: take put things apart, take things off, and put it
- 36:25Speaker 2: back on. I was like, right on that letter, Kyle,
- 36:27Speaker 2: I could take things out put things back.
- 36:28Speaker 5: I mean, when you describe it like that, I guess
- 36:29Speaker 5: I could see that it's modular.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Anyway, Well done, Peyton. I'm glad you're here.
- 36:34Speaker 5: Thanks me too.
- 36:35Speaker 16: We want you to be part of the show.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Call us eighty seven, seven, nine three, seven, one oh
- 36:41Speaker 1: four seven Get on the air with John Jay and Rich.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Yesterday, Rich was in New York City in the iHeart
- 36:49Speaker 2: Media Empire Studios at the top of the Empire State
- 36:52Speaker 2: Building and he was doing the show from there, and
- 36:55Speaker 2: we had some technical difficulties every once in a while,
- 36:57Speaker 2: so we couldn't do a minute to win it. But
- 36:59Speaker 2: so what you did was if I set this up.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Ridge Rich sent me the ten questions for a Minute
- 37:04Speaker 2: to Win It. Now he's never shared those questions with anybody,
- 37:08Speaker 2: and obviously there different every day. They're locked in a
- 37:09Speaker 2: vault and vault, and because there was technical difficulties. I
- 37:14Speaker 2: read the questions because I was going to do a
- 37:15Speaker 2: Minute to Win It, but we never got to it,
- 37:17Speaker 2: and so in my opinion, those those questions are now tainted.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Those are bad questions. You'll never use those questions because
- 37:23Speaker 2: I know the answers.
- 37:24Speaker 15: They're burned.
- 37:24Speaker 2: So when you were gone and you're on the airplane
- 37:26Speaker 2: and we were sitting in here later in the much
- 37:28Speaker 2: later in the afternoon, because Kyle or Peyton and I
- 37:30Speaker 2: are always working, dedicated, and I was like, let's let's
- 37:33Speaker 2: do these questions with us. Let's see how hard they are.
- 37:36Speaker 2: And we recorded it so just to let you know.
- 37:40Speaker 2: So we thought, you know, play for you what happened.
- 37:42Speaker 2: And it's pretty amazing when you think it was Nick, Peyton, Kyle, me,
- 37:48Speaker 2: and out of nowhere, Noah popped in and I was
- 37:53Speaker 2: very shocked. And who did well at this game? And
- 37:56Speaker 2: who didn't do well? So this is Minute to Win It?
- 37:59Speaker 2: The Rich version of what happened off the air yesterday.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Here's the deal. Rich is on an airplane. It was
- 38:05Speaker 2: gonna do a minute twenty. He sent me Minute to
- 38:06Speaker 2: Win It and back me up on this. I don't
- 38:08Speaker 2: think one person in the show has ever seen his
- 38:11Speaker 2: Minute to Win It questions right, never, so because he
- 38:14Speaker 2: sent it to me. Because we're having technical difficulties, I've
- 38:17Speaker 2: seen this list, so now it makes it's Nolan void
- 38:19Speaker 2: like this list will never be used again. So I
- 38:21Speaker 2: think it's okay because we always have people complaining about
- 38:24Speaker 2: Minute to Win It. So I'm going to try to
- 38:26Speaker 2: read the questions fast. You guys play, and I think
- 38:29Speaker 2: the three of you, Nick, Peyton and Kyle should play
- 38:31Speaker 2: as a team if you wanta Does that sound fair?
- 38:34Speaker 7: That does not sound fair because it's not really a
- 38:36Speaker 7: good test.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Well, I don't think any of you guys are going
- 38:38Speaker 2: to get these That's why I.
- 38:39Speaker 7: Think, can we collectively have a minute to answer all
- 38:42Speaker 7: of these questions correctly?
- 38:43Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I'll do, one of you at
- 38:45Speaker 2: a time, okay, and I'll just keep going. I won't
- 38:48Speaker 2: have to go in a circle there, I won't repeat no, No,
- 38:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna do Kyle, she has a minute to answer
- 38:52Speaker 2: ten questions. But once you stop, once you can, then
- 38:55Speaker 2: I'll go. Then I'll start over.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Okay, Okay, so on your wait, So do I start
- 39:00Speaker 6: the timer as soon as you're done with your first.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Question the way we normally. Okay, So, Kyle, you have
- 39:07Speaker 2: a minute to win it. The timer starts after I
- 39:10Speaker 2: finished the first question. Kyle, name a TV series starring
- 39:14Speaker 2: Gary Oldman.
- 39:15Speaker 7: Uh, that's when we watched I don't remember doing.
- 39:22Speaker 8: No.
- 39:22Speaker 12: I love this No, I love this one.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I love the show.
- 39:25Speaker 6: He's it's there, it's there, the one where where they're
- 39:32Speaker 6: the they're the like they're the red headed step child
- 39:36Speaker 6: of the U.
- 39:36Speaker 3: K c. I. A.
- 39:38Speaker 7: And they are called and that's the title the show.
- 39:42Speaker 5: What they're called.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, you're out, You're all right. I'm gonna go
- 39:51Speaker 2: now horses, Yes, Okay, good grief. I'm now going to
- 39:57Speaker 2: go to Peyton. Peyton, I'm going to give you a
- 39:59Speaker 2: question number two. It's gonna be your question number one. Okay, So, Peyton,
- 40:03Speaker 2: the timer starts after I read the first question. Peyton,
- 40:07Speaker 2: you have a minute to win it. What is the
- 40:09Speaker 2: only book in the Bible that doesn't mention God at all.
- 40:13Speaker 15: John, Wait, what is it?
- 40:20Speaker 3: Esther?
- 40:22Speaker 2: It's all about Nick. I'm gonna go to you. You're
- 40:25Speaker 2: you're knowing about the dying over there? Okay, Nick, I'm
- 40:29Speaker 2: gonna go to you. You will get question number three
- 40:31Speaker 2: will be your first question. Nick, you have a minute
- 40:35Speaker 2: to win it. In Star Wars, what planet is Princess
- 40:39Speaker 2: Leah from?
- 40:40Speaker 1: It's Princess Lea Organa from. Oh, my god, this is
- 40:45Speaker 1: a Nick question, my God, Princess Lea Orghana from they
- 40:54Speaker 1: blow it.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Up aldern Yes, Nick, what current religious leader had to
- 40:59Speaker 2: prove he was reincard?
- 41:00Speaker 5: Need?
- 41:00Speaker 15: It does?
- 41:04Speaker 8: Right?
- 41:04Speaker 2: These of the cab Gandhi no, Dali Lama?
- 41:08Speaker 5: Oh no, I think Rich purposely made this specific rid question.
- 41:14Speaker 2: I would have got horses, I would have got all
- 41:17Speaker 2: the wrong I would have got Dalai Lama. I would
- 41:19Speaker 2: not have got Esther.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Have you looked at all of them?
- 41:21Speaker 2: Can we do it to?
- 41:22Speaker 5: You?
- 41:23Speaker 7: Can't made a question having a question?
- 41:26Speaker 3: All right?
- 41:26Speaker 2: Hold on, Okay, I looked at the Mariah Carey one
- 41:29Speaker 2: was the last time I looked at where's the Maria
- 41:31Speaker 2: carry one? Okay? He's the fourth one?
- 41:34Speaker 6: Okay, So that there's only four questions left. So John Jay,
- 41:38Speaker 6: you have sixty seconds to answer four questions. Okay, what
- 41:43Speaker 6: type of reptile is a komodo dragon?
- 41:46Speaker 2: Dragon?
- 41:46Speaker 5: Correct?
- 41:47Speaker 2: Lizard is correct?
- 41:48Speaker 7: What popular game uses a black eight ball?
- 41:52Speaker 2: Pool?
- 41:53Speaker 7: Pool is correct? The Ocean state is a nickname for
- 41:56Speaker 7: what US state?
- 41:57Speaker 2: New Jersey.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Island.
- 42:03Speaker 7: There's still one more.
- 42:06Speaker 5: Know what it is?
- 42:07Speaker 7: What part of the human body is the hallocks?
- 42:11Speaker 5: Your leg?
- 42:13Speaker 2: Brain?
- 42:14Speaker 15: No, keep going your back?
- 42:17Speaker 7: No, Noah is calling your hip.
- 42:19Speaker 2: What you're calling it is the big like Kyle's halls.
- 42:29Speaker 16: What the heck?
- 42:33Speaker 2: I think you should be the next contestant that we
- 42:35Speaker 2: have to play this game. Holy smoke?
- 42:37Speaker 7: Who knows that?
- 42:38Speaker 15: Why do you know that?
- 42:39Speaker 2: Actually? Yeah, why do you? Unbelievable?
- 42:44Speaker 7: One day I broke my hallocks?
- 42:48Speaker 15: So that happened yesterday? Rich What do you you guys
- 42:51Speaker 15: are or something that great? I am sort of surprised
- 42:54Speaker 15: that you couldn't remember Slow Horses.
- 42:56Speaker 7: I've been surprised. I remember the shows, but I never
- 42:58Speaker 7: remember their title.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Judges. Remember when we watch the Horses?
- 43:00Speaker 7: I like which one was that.
- 43:01Speaker 15: Yeah, there's a couple of things that blow me away.
- 43:03Speaker 15: First of all, that Nick took so long to get
- 43:05Speaker 15: a Star Wars question right, I think you should take
- 43:07Speaker 15: away his birthday prize and that Noah, for whatever reason,
- 43:12Speaker 15: knows the HeLEX because I think that's probably the toughest
- 43:15Speaker 15: of the bunch of all the questions, and he's like
- 43:17Speaker 15: one big tone, no problem.
- 43:18Speaker 2: I think Book of Esther was hard.
- 43:19Speaker 15: That is pretty hard. That's sorry, Yeah, that was really hard.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I mean religion, and I.
- 43:25Speaker 15: Think John's one of the one of the Gospels, so
- 43:27Speaker 15: if he didn't mention God at all, that would be weird.
- 43:29Speaker 5: I was just the first thing that came to my mind.
- 43:31Speaker 5: I just you know, you gotta be quick with minute.
- 43:34Speaker 15: We don't do a whole lot of Bible questions.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I don't know how you found us, but I'm so
- 43:39Speaker 1: thankful that you did. It's John Jay and Rich.
- 43:43Speaker 2: All right, let's play a game, Hi, Becky?
- 43:45Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 43:46Speaker 2: Okay, Nick is the host. Nick? What are we playing?

- 44:35Speaker 16: in the room.

- 48:32Speaker 2: ninety three. We'll read your text or we'll call you back.
- 48:35Speaker 2: I happen to see a text here and I called
- 48:37Speaker 2: the guy back and he doesn't want to go on
- 48:40Speaker 2: the radio. And he's like, oh no, man, no, I
- 48:43Speaker 2: just can't. Man. I just kind of go it's a
- 48:46Speaker 2: funny text. Come on, No I can't. And I'm like,
- 48:49Speaker 2: come on, and it's such a small thing. This is
- 48:52Speaker 2: what he said. He goes, John J, are you losing weight?
- 48:57Speaker 2: You look sick? Thank you, is what he said.
- 49:01Speaker 15: What a compliment I was gonna say.
- 49:03Speaker 5: I feel like when somebody tells you that you look
- 49:06Speaker 5: like you've lost weight, like thank you. That actually just
- 49:09Speaker 5: happened to me the other day. I haven't lost any weight,
- 49:11Speaker 5: but apparently I look good, So I appreciate.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Well, see, for me, it's not about looking good for me.
- 49:15Speaker 2: I've always wanted to I will always wanted people to say,
- 49:17Speaker 2: do you look sick? Because I think, then, because I
- 49:19Speaker 2: have such body dysmorphia, that if I look sick to somebody,
- 49:23Speaker 2: then that means I probably look okay to myself. Right,
- 49:26Speaker 2: So a really nice compliment. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 49:28Speaker 2: So this guy finally said, are you losing weight? Do
- 49:30Speaker 2: you look sick, Like, yeah, you look sick. I'm like, yeah,
- 49:32Speaker 2: I have. I have been losing weight, and not only that,
- 49:35Speaker 2: I'm doing this this like GLP three thing, and I
- 49:39Speaker 2: I think because I've never had this happen before, it's
- 49:43Speaker 2: makes me want to exercise more. Like I'm yeah, like
- 49:46Speaker 2: I'm I'm I'm on the like this whole weekend. I
- 49:48Speaker 2: got up really early and I did an hour on
- 49:50Speaker 2: a treadmill before I even did anything else. And then
- 49:52Speaker 2: I got into this one bike and then I went
- 49:54Speaker 2: and rode my bike around town around town, I mean
- 49:56Speaker 2: like a quarter of a mile.
- 50:02Speaker 6: I feel that, but in the opposite way, like I
- 50:04Speaker 6: don't know, I haven't shed the winter bod yet, and
- 50:08Speaker 6: I feel like always right around this time of year,
- 50:10Speaker 6: when it starts getting warmer and you have to like
- 50:12Speaker 6: wear tank tops and it's like shorts are coming out.
- 50:14Speaker 6: I'm always like, shoot, I didn't prepare for this, And
- 50:17Speaker 6: every year I'm like, you know what, next November, I'm
- 50:21Speaker 6: just gonna start then. So by the time summer comes around,
- 50:23Speaker 6: I'm like ready to go and I'm just like grossed
- 50:26Speaker 6: out with myself. And I feel that way, but then
- 50:29Speaker 6: I don't really do anything about it because like, I
- 50:31Speaker 6: had dessert for dinner last night, and then after dessert
- 50:35Speaker 6: for dinner, I had desserts dinner.
- 50:39Speaker 16: Makes sense to me.
- 50:41Speaker 15: That sounds amazing what I want to know about it.
- 50:43Speaker 6: Diner dessert was two Trader Joe's ice cream cones, and
- 50:47Speaker 6: then after that, Addie was like, Mom, will you help
- 50:50Speaker 6: me make we make this like melted chocolate with melted
- 50:53Speaker 6: peanut butter with bananas called a little Banana Molten dish,
- 50:57Speaker 6: And she's like, will you help me make one? I'm
- 50:58Speaker 6: like yeah, and I'm like, you know what, I want
- 51:00Speaker 6: one for myself too, no big deal. And then afterwards
- 51:02Speaker 6: I was like what am I doing? Because then I
- 51:05Speaker 6: just go in and I'm like unhappy with what my
- 51:07Speaker 6: body looks like. And I think my Instagram algorithm knows
- 51:10Speaker 6: that because I keep getting these ads for this new
- 51:13Speaker 6: influencer who's doing and it's really actually kind of annoying
- 51:15Speaker 6: because it ads like if you join now by June,
- 51:19Speaker 6: you'll feel amazing and you won't even recognize your body
- 51:22Speaker 6: like it's a song.
- 51:23Speaker 7: And I'm like, oh, yeah, that's probably a good idea.
- 51:26Speaker 6: And so last night when I'm like feeling all down
- 51:28Speaker 6: on myself, and we're like all getting ready for bed
- 51:30Speaker 6: and we're burnching our teeth together.
- 51:31Speaker 7: I was like, that's it.
- 51:32Speaker 6: Tomorrow, listen up, everybody, look at me. Tomorrow, I am
- 51:36Speaker 6: throwing out all the sugar in the house. We are
- 51:41Speaker 6: going sfs sfs.
- 51:44Speaker 7: Everybody. They're like, what is SFS?
- 51:46Speaker 6: I was like, sugar free summer, baby, sugar free summer.
- 51:51Speaker 6: And then Scott I just hear him laughing in the
- 51:53Speaker 6: other part of the room, like he's just laughing. He's like,
- 51:56Speaker 6: do you guys know your mom? That will never happen.
- 51:57Speaker 6: And I'm like, you're right, because I like sugar too much.
- 52:00Speaker 5: My problem, it's a problem.
- 52:01Speaker 7: It's a problem.
- 52:02Speaker 6: But so now I am thinking of because I can't
- 52:05Speaker 6: get that you'll.
- 52:06Speaker 7: Transform your body. And I'm like, dang it.
- 52:10Speaker 5: And so now I'm thinking of joining that or like
- 52:13Speaker 5: are you against the triseeppe or the retta? Like would
- 52:16Speaker 5: you be down to get on a peptide because you
- 52:19Speaker 5: can have your sweet.
- 52:20Speaker 2: I got a connection for you. I got a tepetite.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Oh you met him Will, Will?
- 52:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I know, well we met We met three different
- 52:27Speaker 6: companies that do that at dinner the other night. And
- 52:30Speaker 6: it's funny because like I've always been really nervous about
- 52:32Speaker 6: it because it's like they don't really have long term
- 52:34Speaker 6: studies on that yet, Like, you know, it's so for me.
- 52:37Speaker 6: I'm like, oh no, I feel like I got to
- 52:38Speaker 6: have the John Jays of the world do it first,
- 52:40Speaker 6: and then I'll hop on the train maybe later, you know.
- 52:43Speaker 2: So the thing I'm doing, the Reddit Reddit True Tide
- 52:45Speaker 2: thing I'm doing, apparently it makes you. It kills your
- 52:48Speaker 2: appetite for dessert. Yesterday, my whole family went to dinner
- 52:52Speaker 2: and then we went they wanted to go to handles. Yeah,
- 52:57Speaker 2: so we all go into handles and it looked amazing.
- 53:00Speaker 2: There was like so much ice cream there and they
- 53:02Speaker 2: get you in really fast, and within seconds, everyone in
- 53:05Speaker 2: my family had an ice cream cone. And I didn't care.
- 53:08Speaker 2: I had zero desire for ice cream, which has never
- 53:11Speaker 2: happened in my life. And I was just like, what
- 53:13Speaker 2: the heck? And I was just I was like inside
- 53:15Speaker 2: myself trying to go how come I don't want any
- 53:17Speaker 2: of this? How come this doesn't appeal to me? It's
- 53:19Speaker 2: the Reddit true chat Yeah, nor it's looking like it
- 53:22Speaker 2: doesn't make it's weird.
- 53:23Speaker 6: Okay, So I have a question for you, because everything
- 53:25Speaker 6: I've seen about this is that it then it turns
- 53:28Speaker 6: off like your brain receptors for pleasure.
- 53:31Speaker 2: It's no joy in my life.
- 53:32Speaker 6: So but okay, that was my question because because literally
- 53:36Speaker 6: I was like feeling down and then I had dessert
- 53:38Speaker 6: last night and be like, you know what, I feel great.
- 53:40Speaker 15: That was delicious.
- 53:43Speaker 2: So there is absolutely no joy, no pain at all.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Like if you hit me in the face, I'd go, oh,
- 53:48Speaker 2: I bet that hurt.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 53:49Speaker 7: Wait, now it's all the joy.
- 53:51Speaker 5: I have a friend that's going through like what would
- 53:54Speaker 5: typically be an awful breakup, but she is on the
- 53:57Speaker 5: Reddit and she is perfectly fine, almost to the point
- 53:59Speaker 5: where I am concerned. So it's not like you are
- 54:01Speaker 5: not grieving this relationship in the way that you should be.
- 54:04Speaker 7: It's not just no joy, it's just like no feelings
- 54:07Speaker 7: at all.
- 54:08Speaker 2: I can I could hit my hand with a hammer
- 54:10Speaker 2: and be like, oh, man, I bet that hurt.
- 54:12Speaker 5: The medicine when I was in like the psych word
- 54:15Speaker 5: what they gave me did to me.
- 54:16Speaker 16: So that's basically.
- 54:19Speaker 15: Read. It makes you have great abs in the emotions.
- 54:24Speaker 7: Have to work out for the abs.
- 54:26Speaker 2: My shirt off the other day and Dutch goes, oh, hello,
- 54:29Speaker 2: and he starts counting. He goes, I can count your apps.
- 54:31Speaker 2: He started touching my abs. I was like, okay, but
- 54:33Speaker 2: I also don't know. I also don't know if he's
- 54:36Speaker 2: just making fun of me. It could be app or
- 54:38Speaker 2: roll of fact. It was exactly.
- 54:41Speaker 15: One of my friends was telling me that you can
- 54:42Speaker 15: totally eat your way through exempic and he was proud
- 54:44Speaker 15: of it, exactly. You know, ezempic makes you non hungry,
- 54:48Speaker 15: but you can eat your way through. And he's like,
- 54:49Speaker 15: now you feel terrible and you get stomach cramps and
- 54:51Speaker 15: you feel like you're gonna die, but you can totally
- 54:53Speaker 15: eat through ozempic and gain weight. So maybe REDDA is
- 54:56Speaker 15: the way to go.
- 54:57Speaker 16: You're broadcasting live across the world right now. This is
- 55:02Speaker 16: the John Jay and Rich radio program
- 55:06Speaker 5: MHM
