• 1:50
Speaker 4: Well, it could be a reason because Does anybody owe him any money?
• 1:53
Speaker 5: That's probably what it is.
• 1:54
Speaker 5: No, no, no, not yet.
• 1:56

  Speaker 2: We have our.
• 2:17
Speaker 2: Mr Brady's got his part, is 53 Corvette out here and is 55 Harvest Gold Corvette out here.
• 2:23
Speaker 2: That's probably, and just so happens, to be, one of our major sponsors as well my garage dot AI and he's been a big reason why we've been able to raise the kind of money we've raised for Texas Equisors.
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: I'm, only I'm.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: My only part of that is that I am AI.
• 2:38
Speaker 1: I am artificial until yeah, that's, and nobody.
• 2:42
Speaker 1: Nobody recognized me yet, but I am all that's actually a hologram.
• 2:47
  Speaker 5: A hologram.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: Have you ever been to a hologram show?
• 2:50
Speaker 5: I know it off track.
• 2:52
Speaker 1: I went to see a Roy Orbison hologram concert.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: You ever been to one?
• 2:57
Speaker 1: No, I never have the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: So there's a full orchestra up there with backup singers and doing all of his hits out of the floor of the stage.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Up pops his image and he's sitting there and he's looking around.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: Tim right, they obviously did this before he died.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: That here he is with the guitar and he's singing the lead and the band is playing the music and he's playing the guitar all on stage.
• 3:28
  Speaker 3: All in sync.
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: All in sync.
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: I mean it's.
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: It's truly amazing.
• 3:32
Speaker 1: The band was great.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: I mean, obviously it had to be at least a 10 piece band and the backup singers.
• 3:37
Speaker 1: So if you ever get a chance to do a hologram speaking of AI, it was, it was really cool.
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: Go and see.
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: Whatever it is.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: I hear that they have an Elvis thing.
• 3:50
Speaker 2: That's the one I'd want to see.
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: All of us.
• 3:53
  Speaker 2: I will go.
• 3:53
  Speaker 2: Oh, yes, absolutely.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, they had it out at Smart Financial Center when I went to see the Roy Orbison thing Gosh, that was six years ago almost.
• 4:03
Speaker 5: Next week in the studio.
• 4:03
Speaker 5: We're all going to be holograms in the studio, so tune into that.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: Actually, we are hologram sitting here, right now.
• 4:10
Speaker 4: But enough of that, yeah, let's get back to you have distinctive voices and they can replicate your voice.
• 4:15
Speaker 4: They can replicate your image.
• 4:16
Speaker 4: We know, yeah, it's pretty scary.
• 4:19
  Speaker 5: It is scary.
• 4:19
Speaker 5: I use chat GPT on my emails that work, so that's a big help.
• 4:23
Speaker 5: Yeah, kind of manipulated, it gives you a base to work on and you can kind of monkey with it.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Well, you know it takes announcers like me and puts us out of business.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, but you can still tell.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can tell.
• 4:37
  Speaker 5: No, it's not a voice.
• 4:38
  Speaker 5: You can't.
• 4:38
Speaker 5: You can't Written word.
• 4:41
Speaker 1: But we just talked about what you can still tell, and here I am in the flash, I know.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: And who wouldn't want to see this?
• 4:49
Speaker 1: No one wants to see that.
• 4:51
Speaker 2: Is that a no compliment answer?
• 4:53
  Speaker 2: No comment answer.
• 4:53
Speaker 5: No comment, I just threw up in my throat.
• 4:59
Speaker 1: You know, I keep saying to you every time I see you yes, sir, that I'm going to bring the Corvette and I never do.
• 5:07
Speaker 2: Well, this is your good opportunity, because this is the Corvette only car show we got coming up.
• 5:10
Speaker 2: And when is this?
• 5:11
Speaker 2: April 13th, it's going to be in Stevenson's Park in Friendswood, oh the same place you came out to last year.
• 5:18
Speaker 2: You came out to our fall car show.
• 5:20
Speaker 2: So this is Corvette, but you see this.
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: That's a Saturday.
• 5:25
  Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
• 5:27
Speaker 1: Well, we have a show to do.
• 5:29
Speaker 2: So I think what we're going to try to do is have you guys come out to the fall car show, so you have zero excuse not to bring that car, because you'll be on site, I will.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: The other thing is is that I'm thinking right, just a minute?
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: Is that?
• 5:46
Speaker 1: what I smell, that's when burning.
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: It's rubber burning.
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: That it'sinkling.
• 5:50
Speaker 1: I think you see the other.
• 5:52
Speaker 1: The other issue is what time is check in?
• 5:56
Speaker 2: Well, the show starts from 8, 30 to 3.
• 5:58
  Speaker 2: No, I didn't say that.
• 5:59
Speaker 1: What time do you?
• 6:00
  Speaker 2: You can.
• 6:01
Speaker 2: You can pre-register for the event all the way up to Okay so if I bring the Corvette at, you know noon.
• 6:07
Speaker 2: For you, I'll make the rare exception because cutoff is at 11, but I'd make the exception.
• 6:14
Speaker 4: We can park them just outside the gate.
• 6:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you'd be like right on the the river.
• 6:19
Speaker 2: It's kind of like a looking over the fence, looking in, that's it.
• 6:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, I do want to come in.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: What time is the show in?
• 6:27
  Speaker 2: Three o'clock.
• 6:27
Speaker 2: A word's there at three, so I can still come down there.
• 6:30
  Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, absolutely.
• 6:31
Speaker 1: I just would be in the show, right, but that would be okay, right, I don't have to be in the show.
• 6:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean just having you there.
• 6:37
Speaker 2: Oh, you know, that's good enough.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: I know people would be lined up all the way down that boulevard.
• 6:44
Speaker 1: What boulevard is that?
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: That's a friends would drive.
• 6:47
Speaker 2: They'd be lined up all the way down.
• 6:50
Speaker 5: Can you go like that?
• 6:51
Speaker 5: You got a little something on your nose.
• 6:52
Speaker 2: Well, I know right, I mean they will actually, I think, but they would do this Line them up to take pot shots at you.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Oh that's right, okay, so, and this is a Corvette, only show yes, sir.
• 7:03
Speaker 2: Very nice Benefits Texas EquaSearch and y'all may remember, but last year we raised 100,000 for Texas EquaSearch, 92,000 the year before.
• 7:13
Speaker 5: So what's just more goal?
• 7:15
  Speaker 5: Yes, sir, goal.
• 7:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, and a big reason is because that man sitting right here to the right of me by garageai All right, so he's in that, he's, he has his 53 and his 55 out here today and I said, kevin, let me see if we can get you on here with us.
• 7:29
Speaker 2: Absolutely, and there's crawfish, oh yeah, and there's crawfish at the show that's an Alan's crazy Alan Swampshack does are a crawfish.
• 7:36
Speaker 2: They've been doing, I think, probably like the last six years.
• 7:38
Speaker 1: Does he have any?
• 7:39
  Speaker 2: shrimp there?
• 7:40
  Speaker 2: No, I don't.
• 7:41
Speaker 2: I mean you'll have the corn and potatoes and, I think, some of the sausage that they put in there.
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 7:45
Speaker 2: But no shrimp Pizzas.
• 7:47
Speaker 2: Well, we do have a food truck.
• 7:49
Speaker 2: Jacks Burgers is going to be on site, you know doing the hamburgers and french fries.
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: I'm not a crawfish guy.
• 7:53
Speaker 2: Well, and we did that so that for people that only crawfish like yourself that are unusual.
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: It's very unusual.
• 7:59
Speaker 1: I know Well I'm unusual not only because of crawfish, ok, but I just.
• 8:05
Speaker 1: You know, I played with those things in the bayou as a kid.
• 8:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, I did the same thing.
• 8:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, plus, there's not a lot of meat on it.
• 8:14
Speaker 5: You got a little tiny bun that you put the meat on to you know.
• 8:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a lot of work for little.
• 8:18
Speaker 2: You got to sit there and continually yeah, no.
• 8:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I'll have the corn and potatoes and the other junk that's in there.
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: That's good, I like that.
• 8:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, the search is great to support.
• 8:28
Speaker 4: They do just fantastic, fantastic work and we're proud to be supporting Absolutely, absolutely.
• 8:33
Speaker 4: What we do is we do some matching dollars and it gets other people to step up in their generosity and it's really fulfilling.
• 8:42
Speaker 5: That's the way to do it.
• 8:43
  Speaker 4: The Corvette Club.
• 8:43
Speaker 4: We come together, but we also we also do some good with our, with the fun that we absolutely have.
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: So it's good.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: You know, back in the day, the Corvette first Corvette Club that I was in was San Jacinto Corvette Club, actually, and there wasn't any other ones we were.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: That was it back in the way, back in the dark ages, back when I had color in my hair like you guys do.
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: I don't have that anymore.
• 9:06
Speaker 2: Well see, the good thing is, you still have hair, it's just of a different color.
• 9:09
  Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey.
• 9:10
Speaker 2: I like this guy sitting to the left?
• 9:12
  Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
• 9:14
Speaker 5: OK, well, thanks for coming to the interview.
• 9:15
Speaker 5: We'll get to the interview, all right.
• 9:17
Speaker 4: Yeah, they're the oldest, I think, Corvette Club in the Houston area.
• 9:20
Speaker 4: They've been around a long time.
• 9:21
Speaker 4: We're actually working with them on June 30th for a Corvette show, what In conjunction with the anniversary of the Corvette.
• 9:30
Speaker 4: We have seven Corvette clubs that are all participating.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: Well, what I need to do is I need to just exit off of the show, this show, and come out there and then cajole with you guys.
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: That's a word.
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: Look that out.
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: I know.
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think?
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: Absolutely.
• 9:48
  Speaker 2: Absolutely Because.
• 9:49
Speaker 1: I mean, when it comes to Corvettes, I mean that's what it's all about.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: It's a OK, there's the car, Great, Nice looking, all that sort of stuff, but it's all the camaraderie and the fun times and you know and great American story it's an American sports car.
• 10:02
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, seventy one years strong this year and it's a fantastic camaraderie and sense of sense of purpose, almost in American story.
• 10:12
Speaker 5: Yeah, so we've got the Indy 500 coming up.
• 10:14
Speaker 5: Is it going to be a vet pace car or a compliment of vets at the Indy?
• 10:18
  Speaker 5: Do you know?
• 10:19
  Speaker 5: Because?
• 10:20
  Speaker 2: I don't.
• 10:20
Speaker 2: I could tell you if I could, if I could tell you that I give you the winning lottery numbers for the nice drawing so generally.
• 10:25
Speaker 5: they have a Corvette compliment in there.
• 10:27
Speaker 2: Right yeah, generally they do for.
• 10:29
  Speaker 5: Indy.
• 10:30
Speaker 2: I'm just not sure about this year.
• 10:31
Speaker 1: The, the purple and yellow Indy pace car.
• 10:35
Speaker 1: Do you know anybody that has one of those?
• 10:39
Speaker 2: No, not that I can think of Good.
• 10:44
Speaker 1: I think that that's probably one of the ugliest cars.
• 10:47
Speaker 5: I like that blue one.
• 10:48
Speaker 5: I don't know what the blue one is.
• 10:49
Speaker 1: I'm seeing a deck lid and a hood up.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: Well, that is not that, that is not it.
• 10:52
Speaker 5: but that's beautiful color.
• 10:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, to those that have that I say to you good.
• 11:01
Speaker 2: I appreciate it To each his own right To each his own.
• 11:05
Speaker 1: And you think that that's your thing.
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: I got it.
• 11:07
Speaker 1: Do I like every Corvette in here?
• 11:09
Speaker 1: I like it because it's a Corvette, but I don't like every single Corvette in here.
• 11:14
Speaker 1: You know, you don't like my car.
• 11:16
Speaker 4: It's okay, yeah, what do you think about that six?
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: cylinder 53?
• 11:21
Speaker 1: Let me tell you something about that six cylinder 53.
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: I'd buy that.
• 11:25
Speaker 1: I'd have that in the minute.
• 11:27
Speaker 1: I had a 1954 Chevrolet pickup truck when I was in high school.
• 11:32
Speaker 1: It was a three quarter ton and it had granny first gear in it.
• 11:37
Speaker 1: It was a utility truck, had that 235 blue flame six in it which is the basis for that Corvette motor.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: And I thought, hmm, they've got two carbureted manifolds for that.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: Hmm, often Houser at the time made that.
• 11:56
Speaker 1: So I wanted that.
• 11:58
Speaker 1: So I put that on there.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: So I put two Rochester one barrels on it.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: I put a full race cam in it, bumped up the compression ratio.
• 12:08
Speaker 1: That thing would fly.
• 12:10
Speaker 1: I could beat anybody off the line with that granny first gear, as you can imagine.
• 12:14
Speaker 1: But I am a huge six cylinder fan and straight six, not V six, torquey and the new hurricane engine.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: That Ram has now a Dodge line.
• 12:26
Speaker 1: They're putting out over 500 horsepower, that thing.
• 12:31
Speaker 1: So don't be putting down those six cylinders, not in front of me, I like my six cylinders a lot, yeah, so that's not hard to think that the six cylinders nowadays.
• 12:42
  Speaker 2: I mean I had a 85.
• 12:43
Speaker 2: I rocks each 28 back in the day and that was a 305.
• 12:46
Speaker 2: And I thought that was the next best thing since life.
• 12:48
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 12:50
Speaker 1: That's a doll compared to some of the horse power 77 Corvette, the terribly over choked, low compression ratio, no horsepower engine with the L 82.
• 13:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that was the bomb and it was at the time and I had the four speed manual transmission in it, put a T handle shifter on it.
• 13:14
Speaker 1: I mean, I was, I was Kits me out.
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: I was.
• 13:19
Speaker 4: I was in the 83 here for the show and it's it's zero to 60 in just about 12 seconds.
• 13:23
Speaker 4: It's really gets up and go about halfway to Galveston.
• 13:27
Speaker 4: You're 60 miles and two speed.
• 13:28
  Speaker 5: Automatic two speed.
• 13:29
Speaker 5: Where were we driving it from?
• 13:31
Speaker 5: Seabrook Seabrook, okay, yeah.
• 13:35
Speaker 4: Right Turns a lot of heads.
• 13:38
Speaker 1: Huh, turns a lot of heads, absolutely it does, because I mean, they're rare.
• 13:42
Speaker 1: Actually I saw the number 003 and it was at the Corvette Expo at the Albert Thomas Convention Center back in the day and it was a big deal and I'm sure it's around somewhere in somebody's collection, but I'd never seen an original 003.
• 14:04
Speaker 1: And I looked at the paint on it and I'm going there's no paint on this car.
• 14:10
Speaker 1: Is yours like that With the fiberglass showing through?
• 14:14
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you see the mesh in the fiberglass.
• 14:16
  Speaker 4: Yeah, it's.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: You look at that and you go, oh, that's got to be a mistake.
• 14:20
Speaker 1: No, that's the way they were.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: And to see that I mean gives me goosebumps today Just talking about it Mine's number 32.
• 14:30
Speaker 4: So it's a little newer than number three.
• 14:32
Speaker 4: There you go 32.
• 14:35
  Speaker 4: 32.
• 14:35
  Speaker 4: 32.
• 14:37
Speaker 3: Wow, I touched his hand.
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: I mean that's really cool.
• 14:40
Speaker 1: I mean, there's so much history behind that.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: I have my picture taken with Zora Arcus Duntoff Zora signed the underneath the hood of this number 32.
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: Nice.
• 14:50
Speaker 1: The signature is on this car.
• 14:51
Speaker 1: Shake his hand again.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: No, I don't have to because, I got his autograph too.
• 14:55
Speaker 4: Everyone needs to come down to the show and see this car.
• 14:56
  Speaker 4: It's really a nice car.
• 14:57
Speaker 4: We'll be checking it out.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: We'll be checking it out.
• 14:59
Speaker 4: We got the 55 sitting next to it.
• 15:00
Speaker 4: It's the first year with the V8, as you know, so we got the six cylinder sitting next to the V8.
• 15:05
Speaker 1: I tell the story.
• 15:06
Speaker 1: I need to take a break.
• 15:07
Speaker 1: Let's take a break, because I'll tell the story after the other side of the break, about Lingenfelter, you're familiar with him yes.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, there was Steve and there's John.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: Well, you know, steve died many years ago in drag racing accident and his cousin, john, took it over.
• 15:24
Speaker 1: I'll tell you about one of his.
• 15:28

Speaker 1: We invite you to come down to the convention center here in Galveston.
• 18:21
Speaker 1: So to finish my story about the Corvette, I had a rare opportunity to go to Lingenfelter's shop outside Detroit and I'd never met him before Very, very nice guy and very modest office and that sort of thing.
• 18:41
Speaker 1: And he said you know, have you seen the collectionist?
• 18:46
Speaker 1: No, come on, takes you back.
• 18:49
Speaker 1: I mean, the warehouse is nothing to write home about, it's just a regular warehouse, not like this.
• 18:57
Speaker 1: It's wide open, you know, it's a low roof and everything.
• 19:00
Speaker 1: It's a car collection that he has collected these cars.
• 19:03
Speaker 1: One of them is a 1954 Corvette and he says I want to show you this.
• 19:09
Speaker 1: I said OK, because it looks like yours White, red interior.
• 19:15
Speaker 1: And he said notice the script on the hood.
• 19:20
Speaker 1: Ok, it says fuel injection.
• 19:25
Speaker 1: Really, yeah, it's got a blower on it, a six cylinder, it's a one off.
• 19:31
Speaker 1: There was a company that Chevrolet was working with and they wanted to keep the straight six in it and they knew that clearly that they wanted to get more horsepower out of it, so they put a blower on it.
• 19:44
Speaker 1: It was the weirdest looking thing.
• 19:46
Speaker 1: It was a belt driven, blower off to the side and it was about that big around under the hood and it was a one off car and this company clearly didn't make it because in 55 they went to the V8.
• 19:58
Speaker 1: But it was a very unusual car, the one off, and it had the blower on it and you know it was like, okay, and he had this car.
• 20:10
Speaker 1: He had lots of different cars, mainly concentrated on Chevrolet, and he's a big Corvette guy and he had a what was that?
• 20:21
Speaker 1: Pontiac Solstice didn't have enough horsepower for him.
• 20:26
Speaker 1: He put a V8 in it.
• 20:30
Speaker 1: He said yeah, well, the thought process was that I was going to give it a little bit more horsepower, but I didn't take into consideration that it doesn't weigh anything.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: He couldn't even mash the accelerator pedal without it burning the rubber.
• 20:42
Speaker 1: And he says the problem was is when I took my kids to school and dropped them off, I'm trying to get out of the carpool line here I am burning rubber, not intending to, because I've put this stuff, this ginormous V8 motor, in this little bit of engine compartment.
• 20:56
Speaker 1: And it was solid, nothing but motor, wow, but great story.
• 21:00
  Speaker 4: That's a great story, isn't it?
• 21:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, like they'd like to know about the 54.
• 21:03
Speaker 4: Yeah, the reason I started my garage at AI is not everyone is articulate as you are, but every car has a story.
• 21:09
  Speaker 3: Absolutely.
• 21:09
Speaker 4: And people love to tell them, they love to hear them, and that's what's nice about coming out.
• 21:13
Speaker 4: These car shows Exactly.
• 21:14
Speaker 4: You put in a few facts about your car, your make model, restoration history, previous owner things like that and.
• 21:20
Speaker 4: Ai like your email, helps write that in an old script.
• 21:24
Speaker 1: So how did you get into this AI stuff?
• 21:27
Speaker 4: I just started picking it up because it was coming out about a year ago and just got.
• 21:33
Speaker 1: I'm an entrepreneur, so I try to find You're a car nut and a computer nut, yeah yeah, Entrepreneur investor.
• 21:40

• 21:43
Speaker 4: Yeah, david's a diddler Can't get a real job, so I have to do these things Well.
• 21:47
Speaker 1: I use that word diddler because I think on Uncle Buck.
• 21:50
Speaker 1: I think that the principle of the grade school used that she was a silly heart and a diddler.
• 21:57
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 21:58
  Speaker 1: There was that.
• 21:59
Speaker 4: I may have a lot of fun with it and getting to see a lot of stories about some really neat cars and you get to be on the Inwheel Time Garage show.

• 22:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, ilk, as they say, yeah.
• 22:38
Speaker 4: I'm older than him, so I didn't graduate there.
• 22:40
Speaker 4: All my kids did, though.
• 22:42
Speaker 5: There you go, okay.
• 22:44
  Speaker 2: That's good.
