- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to Happy Friday. Friends.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Let's go thank you for being here. Just after six o'clock,
- 0:06Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 3: I just took my allergy pill, so I feel like
- 0:09Speaker 3: it's in my throat. Oh no, it's okay, everything's good fine.
- 0:13Speaker 4: Lady Wilson and Ella Langley won big last night at
- 0:16Speaker 4: the ACM Awards. Ella Langley was the artist with the
- 0:19Speaker 4: most nominations, walking away with five, one of which was
- 0:23Speaker 4: New Female.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Artists of the Year, so congrats to her.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Landy Wilson took home really big prizes Entertainer of the Year,
- 0:30Speaker 4: Female Artists of the Year, as well as Album of
- 0:32Speaker 4: the Year, An Artist Songwriter of the Year. Morgan Wallen,
- 0:35Speaker 4: Post Malone, and Kelsey Ballerini were shut out, but congrats
- 0:38Speaker 4: to Ella Langley and Lady Wilson. I love seeing women,
- 0:41Speaker 4: you know win these top prizes, these really big ones.
- 0:44Speaker 4: It's a huge deal, so congrats to them. Mayor Freddie
- 0:48Speaker 4: O'Connell signed a proclamation declaring May as No Kills Shelter Month.
- 0:52Speaker 4: So this declaration actually makes Nashville the largest no kill
- 0:55Speaker 4: city in Tennessee this year, according to Best Friends Animal Society. Obviously,
- 1:00Speaker 4: We all are huge animal lovers on the show. All
- 1:04Speaker 4: of us either have dogs or I've had dogs in
- 1:06Speaker 4: the past. I've also had cats before I ended up
- 1:09Speaker 4: allergic to them. We are very happy to know that
- 1:13Speaker 4: this is something that's happening. Didn't I had rats, I
- 1:18Speaker 4: had frogs. I've had so many animals throughout my life, ferrets,
- 1:23Speaker 4: lots of different things. Women love them a bald man
- 1:28Speaker 4: with muscles. This is according to a new survey. And
- 1:31Speaker 4: I know that some people get really insecure about, you know,
- 1:33Speaker 4: if they have hair loss or anything like that, but
- 1:36Speaker 4: men women love it. The number one trait that turns
- 1:39Speaker 4: women on is a muscular physique. After that is a
- 1:42Speaker 4: bald head, next to most desired feature in men. Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 4: so it beat out you know, tall, dark, curly hair.
- 1:50Speaker 4: You know, that's what everybody thinks is the idea. Yeah,
- 1:53Speaker 4: that's not what they're like in They want the bald men.
- 1:57Speaker 4: There might be a tie in here too, because baldness
- 1:59Speaker 4: is connected with positive traits like maturity, intelligence, honesty.
- 2:02Speaker 3: And education. Mister clean, Yeah, I guess that's part of it.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I will say we have a lot of bald men
- 2:08Speaker 4: in this building, and I don't know if they have
- 2:10Speaker 4: all of these traits, but I do love them dearly.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we do have a lot.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Of them, A lot of bald men with that is
- 2:18Speaker 3: the thing year, Ricky Sanchez. And those are the three
- 2:21Speaker 3: things you need to know.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Thank you for that, Ricky. Between this new study and
- 2:25Speaker 1: Walton Goggins, I mean this is uh.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I love Walton Goggins. Yeah, he's got a vibe to
- 2:29Speaker 4: him though. He's got this certain like swagger about.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Him, A nice and ul Tomorrow night I'm excited about Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 1: All right, good morning, let's get back into the music
- 2:37Speaker 1: with Chapel Roan.
- 2:38Speaker 2: We have more of these tickets to see Rob Thomas
- 2:41Speaker 2: on the way for the first caller. He can win
- 2:42Speaker 2: him in ten minutes, the last chance of the week
- 2:45Speaker 2: to get him here on the River.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Ricky zach In the morning Friday, it's one of seven
- 2:50Speaker 4: five the River.
- 2:51Speaker 3: We have Christina and Lebanon on the line.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Good morning, Christina, Good morning you are chipper and I
- 2:56Speaker 4: love to hear it. Is it because it's Friday or
- 2:59Speaker 4: are you like excited for.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It something else?
- 3:01Speaker 6: I am so happy it's Friday.
- 3:03Speaker 1: An. What are you doing this weekend? Christina?
- 3:07Speaker 7: I think we're going to a crawfish boil on Saturday
- 3:11Speaker 7: and then fishing on Sunday.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Girl, I can get down and dirty at a crawfish bowl.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Zach's whole face lit up when you said crawfish boil,
- 3:20Speaker 4: like he was ready to jump out of his chair
- 3:22Speaker 4: and get prepared to go with you right now.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm like elbows deep dirty at a crawfish boil.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go, said, I just finished listening to Nate
- 3:31Speaker 2: Bargeesi's book, and he says in the books, I listened
- 3:34Speaker 2: to audiobooks more than reading. But he talks about how
- 3:36Speaker 2: he pronounces the word oil. Zack, you just said boil.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I want to hear you say it again. Crawfish boil.
- 3:41Speaker 3: No, you normally do boil.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're both you know, from the Nashville area.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So yeah, crawfish boil, boil.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Okay, I see, Christina doesn't say that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: That's different when you say a real Colorado though. That's why.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Okay, that makes sense. Your transplant. How long have you
- 3:58Speaker 3: been in Lebanon or in the Nashville area?
- 4:01Speaker 8: Almost three years?
- 4:02Speaker 4: Okay, lovely to have you, Christina. I've almost been here
- 4:06Speaker 4: four years now. How long has it been for you Kevin, I.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Always forget twenty twenty one January of twenty twenty one,
- 4:12Speaker 2: so that's four years.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It would be.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Four and a half year.
- 4:16Speaker 3: You're gonna say, do you don't know how to count
- 4:18Speaker 3: what's happening here?
- 4:19Speaker 1: After reverse engineer these things?
- 4:21Speaker 3: Oh my god?
- 4:22Speaker 4: Okay, well, Christina, you are the first color of the
- 4:25Speaker 4: day on one of seven five the river.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Congratulations.
- 4:28Speaker 4: You're gonna go see Rob Thomas from Matchbox twenty out
- 4:31Speaker 4: of sand Amitheater.
- 4:32Speaker 6: That is so amazing.
- 4:33Speaker 7: I've been trying all a week.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Oh good, well, congrats you finally that a persistence pays off.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I hope it's a wonderful weekend for it. Christina, thank
- 4:41Speaker 1: you so much.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I also said almost four years. It's been four years.
- 4:45Speaker 4: I don't know why I thought that. It wasn't May.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's right over four years since you've been here. The universary,
- 4:50Speaker 1: We thank you.
- 4:53Speaker 7: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morningdays.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Officially Friday, we are very excited about it.
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's been a long week, guys, it.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Has be it.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It does feel like there's like an air of like
- 5:03Speaker 2: relief that the weekend's it's Friday.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it's Ricky Zecondmano in the morning on one of
- 5:07Speaker 4: seven five the River. But if you're like me, you
- 5:10Speaker 4: have a lot going on this weekend as well. And
- 5:12Speaker 4: if you're not like me and you're looking for plans,
- 5:14Speaker 4: Zach has a full list of things that.
- 5:16Speaker 3: You could do.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I got you so.
- 5:17Speaker 6: Our friends in Hendersonville they have the Hendersonville Arts Festival
- 5:20Speaker 6: this weekend.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's both Saturday and Sunday.
- 5:22Speaker 6: It's at Sandersbury Park and they're gonna have a bunch
- 5:26Speaker 6: of different like ceramics, glass wood, metal, photography, furniture, all
- 5:30Speaker 6: of this different stuff at the Hendersonville Arts Festival.
- 5:33Speaker 3: They think you can think of apparently literally everything.
- 5:35Speaker 6: They have like kid friendly art projects too throughout the weekend.
- 5:39Speaker 6: It just looks really really fun. So if you want
- 5:40Speaker 6: something with your kiddos, go to that. The Renaissance Festival
- 5:44Speaker 6: is this weekend. It's Saturday and Sunday from ten to
- 5:46Speaker 6: six in Errington. I just want to go for a
- 5:48Speaker 6: big old turkey leg.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I love Runfest, dude. I know that that's so random,
- 5:52Speaker 4: but I love it so much. Oh my god, it's
- 5:55Speaker 4: so fun. They don't have mead though, right, Like they
- 5:58Speaker 4: don't have alcohol, Like I love a pint of meat
- 6:02Speaker 4: and a big old turkey leg and it's walking around
- 6:05Speaker 4: like that, like me four eleven with these massive items.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I can't see you. That's yeah, that makes sense.
- 6:12Speaker 6: It's very fun if you want to get dressed up
- 6:14Speaker 6: and wear your fancy hats and clothes. The eighty fourth
- 6:18Speaker 6: Annual Steeple Chase is on Saturday. Okay, now it's time
- 6:22Speaker 6: to talk about the mothers. So this one sounds so fun.
- 6:25Speaker 6: It's kind of inspired by Mama Mia, but it's called
- 6:27Speaker 6: Mother Mia Boozy Disco Brunch Cute and it's happening at
- 6:31Speaker 6: Stateside Kitchen on Sunday from ten to four, so you
- 6:34Speaker 6: can dance the day away at this brunch service featuring
- 6:37Speaker 6: different disco hits and cocktails. And it's very Mama Mia themed,
- 6:41Speaker 6: which I love. This. This one sounds right up my alley.
- 6:45Speaker 6: It's a Mother's Day hoot and nanny what It's like
- 6:49Speaker 6: a big old party like a hooton Nannie Nanny.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 6: So it's happening at the Owls Hill Sanctuary in Brentwood
- 6:56Speaker 6: on Saturday from ten to twelve thirty food.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Are there Owls there?
- 7:02Speaker 1: Maybe? So they're not gonna get rid of them for
- 7:05Speaker 1: the hooton Inn. Yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 6: So it's starring this award winning Americana songwriter a musician.
- 7:10Speaker 6: His name is Farmer Jason and he's been apparently been
- 7:12Speaker 6: doing this for over twenty years, singing songs about farm life,
- 7:16Speaker 6: nature and animals.
- 7:17Speaker 1: So you can go to the Mother's Day Hoot and Nanny. Wait.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Okay, So fun fact about me.
- 7:21Speaker 4: I love owls and I think they're the coolest like birds,
- 7:25Speaker 4: but they're also scared the crap.
- 7:28Speaker 1: They're terrifying.
- 7:29Speaker 6: And then two concerts that are happening this weekend is
- 7:31Speaker 6: our friend Knox is playing at Canary on Saturday. That's
- 7:35Speaker 6: the completely sold out.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I didn't know what sold out.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't look at tickets this morning. It's completely
- 7:42Speaker 1: sold out on Henry Hall Knock.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 6: And then shine Down is also playing on Saturday, but
- 7:47Speaker 6: they're at Bridgeton Arena. Those tickets are still available if
- 7:50Speaker 6: you want to go see shine Down at bridge On
- 7:52Speaker 6: Arena on Saturday night.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Love that they did River on the Rooftop for us
- 7:55Speaker 3: last year.
- 7:56Speaker 1: They did. They're so cool. Shall we read the last one?
- 7:58Speaker 7: Kevin?
- 7:58Speaker 4: Sure?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Go ahead? Yeah, there's one more on the list.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Here and last, but not least, Kevin outed this one
- 8:02Speaker 6: to the list. Kevin soun Riley has a baseball tank
- 8:05Speaker 6: tomorrow morning at ten thirty.
- 8:08Speaker 1: You guys want to come, I know Ricky and zacherbug
- 8:09Speaker 1: gonna be there. Come on down.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I God, the commitment. It's fantastic.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Though Kevin I did find out I thought this was
- 8:18Speaker 1: his last game. It's not his last game. They've got
- 8:20Speaker 1: a whole tournament coming out, so so many.
- 8:21Speaker 2: More chances for you guys to make yay. Zach, thank
- 8:24Speaker 2: you for that list, buddy, Thanks you to Rundown.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Appreciate it. As always, three things you need to know.
- 8:30Speaker 2: All right, let's go just after seven o'clock, Ricky Sanchez
- 8:34Speaker 2: has those three things.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Everyone's talking about the new Pope because obviously it's a
- 8:38Speaker 4: big deal. We officially have a new pope and he's
- 8:40Speaker 4: American from Chicago. This is the first time that an
- 8:44Speaker 4: American has been chosen as the Pope, which is obviously
- 8:47Speaker 4: partially why everyone's freaking out about it because it was
- 8:49Speaker 4: completely unexpected.
- 8:51Speaker 3: He also was not in the running.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Where people were betting for the Pope. That wasn't the
- 8:55Speaker 4: highest soccer dog. So yeah, we have an underdog here.
- 8:58Speaker 4: His name is Robert Pravoss. He's gonna go by Pope
- 9:00Speaker 4: Leo the fourteenth. It took one hundred and thirty three
- 9:03Speaker 4: cardinals two days to appoint Pope Leo. He is expected
- 9:07Speaker 4: to build on Pope Francis's reforms. And like I said,
- 9:11Speaker 4: everyone's excited because he's from Chicago, so not even just
- 9:14Speaker 4: an American pope, but from Chicago, Chicago.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Fake tach. I love all of the Chicago Pope memes
- 9:21Speaker 1: and everything. Yeah, it's really it's good.
- 9:22Speaker 4: A lot of the Bear correlation, yes, exactly. Uh So, yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 4: that's what we know about our new pope so far.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Lord is coming to Nashville for a tour. She just
- 9:33Speaker 4: announced this yesterday. She's gonna be playing at the Pinnacle
- 9:36Speaker 4: September twentieth.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Tickets go on.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Sale next Friday at ten am if you want to
- 9:40Speaker 4: see her.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Obviously, this is her big comeback to music.
- 9:43Speaker 4: She has a song out, She's gonna tour, obviously, there's
- 9:45Speaker 4: going to be an album. All very exciting stuff coming
- 9:48Speaker 4: from Lord. Pop Tarts also very exciting stuff coming from them.
- 9:52Speaker 4: They're making ice cream sandwiches and ice cream pints. So
- 9:56Speaker 4: pop Tarts ice cream pints have flavor swirls and pastry
- 9:59Speaker 4: so pieces. It's gonna come in three different flavors, frosted
- 10:02Speaker 4: brown sugar cinnamon, frosted ice strawberry ice cream, and frosted
- 10:07Speaker 4: s'mores ice cream. Then they have the ice cream sandwiches,
- 10:10Speaker 4: which are gonna come in three flavors as well, frosted
- 10:13Speaker 4: brown sugar cinnamon sandwiches, frosted strawberry ice cream sandwiches, and
- 10:18Speaker 4: frosted chocolate fudge ice cream sandwiches. Lots of words in these,
- 10:24Speaker 4: but the idea is that there will be actual toaster pastries,
- 10:27Speaker 4: like the actual pop tarts that are correlated to the
- 10:30Speaker 4: ice cream that it will go with.
- 10:31Speaker 3: They look so good.
- 10:33Speaker 1: PopEd outs are my weakness.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I pop tarts. I miss them so much. Yeahlue clue in, I.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Miss them so sorry.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Much, but they look.
- 10:43Speaker 4: So good these ice cream sandwiches, so go buy them,
- 10:45Speaker 4: try them for me, think of me while you're eating them.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I'm rick Sanchas and those are the three things you
- 10:50Speaker 3: need to know.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Right after gg Perez sings a sailor song, We've got
- 10:55Speaker 2: a fact for his axebax.
- 10:56Speaker 1: We're gonna learn together on this Friday morning. Next on
- 10:59Speaker 1: the River one oh seven.
- 11:00Speaker 7: Five The River, Reiky, Zach and Meno in the Morning.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Sex Got Effect, zex got effect, Sex got effect.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Just for you.
- 11:08Speaker 3: It's one O seven five the River.
- 11:10Speaker 1: That was really impressive practice.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Did you know, Oh well, this is no surprise, but
- 11:16Speaker 6: did you guys know that more phone calls are.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Made on Mother's Day than any other day of the year.
- 11:21Speaker 7: Truly?
- 11:22Speaker 6: Yeah, So Mother's Days on Sunday, don't forget to call
- 11:24Speaker 6: your mom.
- 11:25Speaker 1: You'll be part of the other millions of people making
- 11:27Speaker 1: phone calls. Had no idea. I like that one. And
- 11:29Speaker 1: that's your fact of the day.
- 11:30Speaker 4: And color today too, just for the heck of it,
- 11:32Speaker 4: and tomorrow caller every day.
- 11:35Speaker 1: That was effect. That was effect. That was effect, just
- 11:39Speaker 1: for you. One O seven five.
- 11:42Speaker 7: Reiky, Zach and Meno in the Morning.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I'm about to ask probably the strangest question that I've
- 11:46Speaker 4: ever asked on the radio before.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm actually terrified.
- 11:49Speaker 3: And you should be. You should be.
- 11:52Speaker 4: We played a daily double tap two days ago on
- 11:54Speaker 4: one O seven five of the River. The Daily double
- 11:56Speaker 4: Tap we play every morning, and it is a video
- 11:59Speaker 4: that of us finds online that either has gone viral
- 12:02Speaker 4: or we find interesting, we play it for you.
- 12:04Speaker 3: So this is what I found two days ago and played. Also,
- 12:07Speaker 3: why is it called the roof of your mouth?
- 12:08Speaker 5: It should be the ceiling of your mouth.
- 12:11Speaker 1: The roof is on the outside.
- 12:13Speaker 5: The roof of my mouth is my scalp.
- 12:15Speaker 1: She's got a great pain.
- 12:16Speaker 2: That's I mean, that is something I'd never thought about before.
- 12:18Speaker 2: The roof of your mouth should not be called a roof.
- 12:21Speaker 3: It's a ceiling.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Yeah, because the scalp of your head would be the
- 12:24Speaker 4: roof of your head. So that got me thinking, if
- 12:27Speaker 4: your head was a house, Okay, what room would your
- 12:31Speaker 4: mouth be?
- 12:32Speaker 2: This is really truly the question we were asking this morning.
- 12:35Speaker 2: If your head was a house, what room would your
- 12:38Speaker 2: mouth be? Because we're split in here, I think if
- 12:40Speaker 2: your mouth is like the front door you know you're
- 12:42Speaker 2: walking in that, I'm gonna call it.
- 12:44Speaker 1: A living room.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I think it's the kitchen.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Why the kitchen, because you eat with.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Your mouth the kitchen in the dining room. It would
- 12:51Speaker 3: be one or the other.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Logistically, like you walk in to the living room. Okay,
- 12:57Speaker 1: well it's the front door. Okay. There's different ways to
- 13:01Speaker 1: look at this. We want to hear your take.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Six one, five, seven, three, seven nine one o seven
- 13:05Speaker 2: and again the question that I guarantee no other radio
- 13:08Speaker 2: show is asking this morning. If your head was a house,
- 13:12Speaker 2: what room would your mouth be?
- 13:14Speaker 5: Right?
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like your eyeballs or your eye sockets
- 13:17Speaker 4: would be bedrooms, your ears would be bathrooms.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You've really thought about this?
- 13:20Speaker 5: Oh?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Is this what you do in your spare time?
- 13:22Speaker 7: Yes, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, I just.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Asked the strangest question that I've ever asked on the
- 13:30Speaker 4: radio just a few minutes ago, right here on one
- 13:33Speaker 4: of seven five of the River, I said, if your
- 13:35Speaker 4: head is a house, what room is your mouth? And
- 13:38Speaker 4: this is all because of a daily double tap we
- 13:40Speaker 4: played where a woman was like, the roof of your
- 13:43Speaker 4: mouth should not be the roof of your mouth, That
- 13:44Speaker 4: should be the ceiling of which is a great point
- 13:46Speaker 4: because your scalp would be the roof, Yes, of your head,
- 13:50Speaker 4: Jamie and Nashville, what would your mouth be?
- 13:52Speaker 3: What room?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Okay, I think it should be the attic.
- 13:57Speaker 7: I really like the fact of like this whole question, because.
- 14:03Speaker 8: Ricky had a point. Thank you, it's the kitchen for
- 14:07Speaker 8: your mouth.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Okay, So then what are you saying is the attic okay?
- 14:11Speaker 8: So I think it's like the kitchen, and then the
- 14:14Speaker 8: back of your head still living room, and then the
- 14:17Speaker 8: top of your.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Head is the attic.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:20Speaker 8: Then the inside is the roof, and the top or
- 14:24Speaker 8: the inside of the ceiling and the top of the roof.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Jamie, you have somehow made this so much more confusing.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I had a feeling this is going to get very
- 14:31Speaker 4: complicated and hard to explain.
- 14:34Speaker 8: It's like the whole house, you know, your head? Yeah, yeah,
- 14:38Speaker 8: for sure brain and I was like wow, this is
- 14:41Speaker 8: like I was like, wow, this is a great way
- 14:43Speaker 8: to get my day started.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Sure I have some edibles for breakfast and tolerated.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I appreciate you because these guys don't appreciate the way
- 14:51Speaker 4: that my brain works, but you do.
- 14:52Speaker 3: You My attic is really just on one today.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you for have a great day and a
- 15:01Speaker 2: great weekend.
- 15:02Speaker 1: No too, follow Andrea in Nashville. If your head was
- 15:06Speaker 1: a house, what room would your mouth be? I cannot
- 15:09Speaker 1: even believe the question when I ask it.
- 15:11Speaker 8: Go ahead, it's gross. It would be the bathroom.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Why the bathroom?
- 15:17Speaker 8: Because I'm just thinking, like, if you swallow stuff, it's
- 15:22Speaker 8: kind of like you're flushing it away.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:26Speaker 4: You know, Zack's mouth would probably be the bathroom. He
- 15:28Speaker 4: talks a lot of crap.
- 15:29Speaker 6: Oh good, No, but you're not wrong though, Like whenever
- 15:35Speaker 6: you swallow it, it just like goes away.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Your mouth is a toy, flush it.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I could see it.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Your mouth is your body's toy even Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Scientifically, whatever you put in your mouth ends up in
- 15:46Speaker 6: the toilet eventually, unless you're zaging and swimming pool in the.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Cool Okay, Andrea, I think we're we're kind of really
- 15:53Speaker 4: the wheels are turning right now, and we're really thinking
- 15:56Speaker 4: about this.
- 15:57Speaker 3: What would your eye sockets be? Andrea?
- 16:00Speaker 8: Oh no, I don't know.
- 16:06Speaker 1: That one. That'll be next week's topic. Okay, So think
- 16:09Speaker 1: about it and call back.
- 16:11Speaker 3: My love.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Ken I like it. I just yeah, yeah, you hate it?
- 16:19Speaker 7: You hate it?
- 16:20Speaker 1: No. I mean I went to broadcasting school, and I'm asking,
- 16:24Speaker 1: if your head was a house, what room would your
- 16:26Speaker 1: mouth be?
- 16:26Speaker 3: For college? In order to do this, get.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Six one five, seven, three seven nine one o seven,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I guess the conversation continues.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Ricky zachon Mano in the morning.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Sarah in Nashville, If your head is a house. What
- 16:42Speaker 4: room is your mouth?
- 16:44Speaker 8: I think it's pretty obvious that your mouth would be
- 16:47Speaker 8: the foyer.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I am surprised that nobody said this yet.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Nobody really says foyer these days, but I do agree
- 16:54Speaker 2: that it's like the entry wait of the house.
- 16:55Speaker 1: It's just as the front.
- 16:56Speaker 8: Door, right, the first place to go into.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Exactly would you say that, like the back of your
- 17:01Speaker 4: mouth is like a kitchen, or would you say that
- 17:05Speaker 4: that's the living room, the.
- 17:07Speaker 8: Living room or the dining room area?
- 17:09Speaker 7: All right?
- 17:10Speaker 3: And then your eye sockets, what would those be?
- 17:13Speaker 6: Oh?
- 17:13Speaker 8: Obviously those are like your upstairs windows.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah, like bedrooms?
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, Sarah, because she's.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Like, obviously, duh.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And when you sleep, you close your eyes, so it's
- 17:24Speaker 2: like closing your curtains and going to sleep right there
- 17:26Speaker 2: in the bedrooms.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Kevin's having fun with the topic now.
- 17:28Speaker 7: I like this.
- 17:30Speaker 1: All right, Thank you for calling. Thank you that you've
- 17:32Speaker 1: made some great points here today.
- 17:33Speaker 8: Thanks good, have a good day, love bye.
- 17:35Speaker 1: The phones are going crazy. Let's go to Amy.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Now.
- 17:38Speaker 8: Are you guys still talking about what your mouth would
- 17:42Speaker 8: be as a room?
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:43Speaker 4: Amy in spring Hill, you're very excited to tell us
- 17:45Speaker 4: where you think your mouth. What room you think your
- 17:48Speaker 4: mouth would be inside your head as a house?
- 17:51Speaker 8: So tell us, Okay, I just took my daughter to
- 17:53Speaker 8: school and I got way too much on this, but
- 17:55Speaker 8: I had to call. Okay, So I think I think
- 17:58Speaker 8: the mouth actually it would be I guess your entryway,
- 18:02Speaker 8: like I feel like it would be your front door
- 18:03Speaker 8: and you walk in and there's your mouth. You can
- 18:05Speaker 8: either go up, but you know, you can sometimes go
- 18:08Speaker 8: up through your nose, or you can go down, which
- 18:10Speaker 8: is down your throat.
- 18:11Speaker 6: What if it's like your garage, because what if you
- 18:13Speaker 6: enter through your garage and your mouth opens and closes
- 18:16Speaker 6: like your garage door.
- 18:17Speaker 8: Oh that's a good point. I never thought about that.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I have a different idea for the garage, but I
- 18:22Speaker 1: can't say it on the radio. Kevin Man, I don't
- 18:24Speaker 1: even go there.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Oh my god, Kevin, you're thinking back door kind of
- 18:29Speaker 4: situation on you.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Let's just move on.
- 18:31Speaker 8: Yeah, it is amazing. How I mean, me and my
- 18:34Speaker 8: daughter were sitting here really thinking like what room And
- 18:37Speaker 8: I never would have thought I woke up this morning
- 18:39Speaker 8: would think about like what room your mouth would be?
- 18:42Speaker 3: Well, you're welcome. My brain is a wild place to live.
- 18:46Speaker 4: In and now you guys are all getting an idea
- 18:48Speaker 4: of what I think about daily.
- 18:50Speaker 8: Yeah, hey, I love it. You learned something new about somebody. Yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 8: I like it.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I don't think anybody learned anything from this.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Amy we have, ok you so much. We'll you have
- 19:01Speaker 3: a great day.
- 19:02Speaker 8: Thank you, you guys.
- 19:03Speaker 3: To Kevin is truly just strong?
- 19:06Speaker 1: You uncomfortable? No, I've really truly enjoyed it. You've done yourself.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I mean I don't.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I'm going to take that as a coffin. Thank you.
- 19:15Speaker 1: We have Jesse Murph tickets next with.
- 19:17Speaker 7: The Game of the Rachie, Zach and Men.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Jesse Murph is going to be playing in Nashville September thirteenth.
- 19:25Speaker 3: That is sent Amphitheater. We're doing Kevin Mano's Game of
- 19:28Speaker 3: the Day.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Taple Trivia is the game we're playing for these tickets.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Stephanie and Murphy's Borough.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Good morning, Good morning.
- 19:35Speaker 1: How you doing on this Friday morning there, Stephanie.
- 19:38Speaker 7: I'm good.
- 19:39Speaker 6: On the way to work.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Hey, do you have kids? By chance? I have one
- 19:43Speaker 1: happy Mother's Day?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you.
- 19:46Speaker 1: That's actually my first Mother's Day.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Yeah, we hope you have the best Mother's Day this weekend.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Thank you, and we're going to feel like monsters if
- 19:55Speaker 2: you don't win these tickets.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Let's play the game.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It's topical trivia trivia questions based on current events.
- 20:00Speaker 1: If you get two out of three of them, right,
- 20:02Speaker 1: the tickets are yours. Okay, okay, all right, Stephanie. The
- 20:05Speaker 1: game starts right now.
- 20:08Speaker 2: The new pope is from what city?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Oh?
- 20:15Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know this city.
- 20:16Speaker 8: I just know that he's American.
- 20:20Speaker 3: No, we were just talking about it.
- 20:23Speaker 8: Oh, I I come in my car late this morning.
- 20:27Speaker 6: Oh my goodness.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Just take a guess. And it starts with ach.
- 20:31Speaker 8: Oh what we can only think about the Chattanooga And
- 20:35Speaker 8: I know that's not That's okay, Stephanie, that's okay.
- 20:38Speaker 3: It with Chicago.
- 20:40Speaker 1: A Chattanooga pope would be pretty cool. I agree. All right.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Uh, Mother's Day, as we previously mentioned, is this Sunday?
- 20:49Speaker 1: In what month is Father's Day?
- 20:53Speaker 6: Oh?
- 20:54Speaker 3: It's in June.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yes, And of course I had to make Mother's Weekend
- 21:00Speaker 1: about fathering yet.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Because that's a classic Kevin move. You gotta get this
- 21:03Speaker 4: the next one, right, Stephanie.
- 21:05Speaker 1: All right, here we go.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Walton Goggins is hosting SNL this weekend. Name one of
- 21:11Speaker 2: the many TV shows that he is known for. Oh
- 21:16Speaker 2: is it so whiteloaded?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Yes.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Very recently, he was on this season of The White Lotus.
- 21:22Speaker 2: He's also in Righteous Gemstones, fall Out, Justified, Suns of.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Anarchy, The Shield. The dude has a very impressive career.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Oh okay, and Stephane's like, I didn't know about all
- 21:32Speaker 4: of those, but you knew the right answer, and that's
- 21:34Speaker 4: all that matters.
- 21:35Speaker 3: So you're getting these tickets to see Jesse Murv.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Thank you so much. You are so welcome.
- 21:40Speaker 2: The show's in September to send amphitheater. This is our
- 21:43Speaker 2: early Mother's Day present to you. I mean you you
- 21:45Speaker 2: work for him obviously, but congratulations.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Thank you. Three things.
- 21:51Speaker 1: All right, just a bit past eight o'clock on this
- 21:54Speaker 1: Friday morning. I'm talking slow because Ricky's eaten. I think
- 21:59Speaker 1: she's good to go. Great things. They need to know.
- 22:02Speaker 4: NBC is considering potential replacements if Kelly Clarkson decides to
- 22:05Speaker 4: leave her show next year at the end of her contract.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Looks like Coda Copy is the top of NBC's list
- 22:12Speaker 4: because of her established hand base that she already has.
- 22:15Speaker 4: While she was at The Today Show, Hoda left the
- 22:17Speaker 4: Today Show. At the beginning of the year, there were
- 22:19Speaker 4: rumors that it had to do with her contract negotiations,
- 22:22Speaker 4: but also now they're saying that nobody wanted her to leave.
- 22:24Speaker 4: I don't really know what happened, but there's apparently a
- 22:27Speaker 4: very long list. We don't know the others on the list,
- 22:30Speaker 4: but Hoda is number one for them. We shall see
- 22:32Speaker 4: what happens. Obviously, we don't know if Kelly's gonna stay
- 22:35Speaker 4: or go just yet, so I think this is just
- 22:37Speaker 4: to cover bases if it just decides to happen. They're prepared.
- 22:43Speaker 4: National Shores officially opens tomorrow. They're offering discounted admission all
- 22:47Speaker 4: weekend for thirty six and ninety nine plus tax per person,
- 22:50Speaker 4: which is a twenty dollars savings off of regular adult
- 22:53Speaker 4: weekend admission rates.
- 22:54Speaker 3: So take advantage. If it's a nice weekend this weekend,
- 22:56Speaker 3: go hang out there.
- 22:58Speaker 4: They also have a season passes that are currently on
- 23:00Speaker 4: sale on their website. Obviously, right now you look outside
- 23:03Speaker 4: and you're like, eh, I don't know if I'm ready
- 23:05Speaker 4: for a water park, But hopefully everything clears up and
- 23:09Speaker 4: we have some nice, beautiful, sunshiny days and then you
- 23:11Speaker 4: can take the kids to.
- 23:12Speaker 3: National Shores, or just go for yourself. I kind of
- 23:15Speaker 3: want to go by myself.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you should do it. I'm sick of the gray though.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm just I'm over this.
- 23:19Speaker 3: I think everybody's over it.
- 23:21Speaker 4: And McDonald's no longer holds the crown for the cheapest
- 23:24Speaker 4: fast food cheeseburger in the US. The title now belongs
- 23:27Speaker 4: to Wendy's and Burger King, who now lead the pack.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Was dollar ninety nine cheeseburgers, which undercuts McDonald's two dollars
- 23:33Speaker 4: and nineteen price. So McDonald's, you're no longer the crown
- 23:37Speaker 4: of the cheapest cheeseburger.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Never thought i'd see the day, Serki Sanchez And those
- 23:42Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know. Thank you,
- 23:44Speaker 3: rick Well, I have food still kind of in my mouth.
- 23:47Speaker 1: The appreciated.
- 23:49Speaker 7: Ricky and Zach and Men in the Morning.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Swims one O seven five the River.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It's time for the Leftovers, which is topics stories that
- 23:59Speaker 2: we wanted to bring to the table this week on Ricky,
- 24:00Speaker 2: Zach and Manno in the Morning, they didn't quite make
- 24:02Speaker 2: the cut, and now we're all bringing one collectively to
- 24:05Speaker 2: this table again called the Leftovers.
- 24:07Speaker 4: I'll go first, Okay, each person's gonna get thirty seconds
- 24:10Speaker 4: to talk about their specific topic.
- 24:12Speaker 3: So let me pull out my little handy dandy stopwatch. Here,
- 24:15Speaker 3: my little timer.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Tell me when to go.
- 24:17Speaker 3: All right, keV Dog start.
- 24:19Speaker 2: According to a new survey, twenty five percent of people
- 24:22Speaker 2: said they would tell a coworker.
- 24:24Speaker 1: If they have bad breath. And I just do not believe.
- 24:27Speaker 2: That one in four people would tell a coworker if
- 24:29Speaker 2: they're breath. Do you know how awkward that is to
- 24:32Speaker 2: tell somebody that they have bad breath?
- 24:33Speaker 3: So would you not tell Zach and I if we
- 24:35Speaker 3: had bad breath?
- 24:36Speaker 1: I don't think I would have ben. That's a bad friend.
- 24:39Speaker 3: You got to tell somebody when they have bad breath.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I will say, I put you guys in a different
- 24:43Speaker 2: category rather than just coworker, Like.
- 24:45Speaker 1: You guys are friends, you know what I mean? Like
- 24:47Speaker 1: if I just like a random person I bumped into
- 24:49Speaker 1: in the bathroom, I'm gonna say, hey, buddy, get some gum.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I don't know, you know, I just think that's so awkward.
- 24:54Speaker 2: There's no way that one in four people would do that.
- 24:56Speaker 3: All right, times up, keV Dog.
- 24:57Speaker 1: You ready, Zach, I'm ready.
- 24:58Speaker 3: You have thirty seconds on the clock.
- 25:01Speaker 1: GUP relationship or expert.
- 25:02Speaker 6: Her name is Alex said, she's saying that these are
- 25:05Speaker 6: innocent questions that will get you ghosted within your first
- 25:07Speaker 6: couple of dates. So I want to know if you've
- 25:09Speaker 6: ever asked these questions? So what are we? And then
- 25:13Speaker 6: some of the other questions is why are you still single?
- 25:16Speaker 1: This one?
- 25:17Speaker 7: Oh?
- 25:17Speaker 1: I love this one? Do you think I'm hotter than
- 25:19Speaker 1: your ex?
- 25:21Speaker 5: Oh?
- 25:21Speaker 3: That's so that's a sad question.
- 25:24Speaker 6: One hundred percent of something that I would say. So
- 25:26Speaker 6: I was like thinking, hey, what got you ghosted? Or
- 25:29Speaker 6: what are some no nos in questions to ask people?
- 25:31Speaker 3: All Right, your time's up.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I feel like, why are you still single? That's kind
- 25:34Speaker 2: of a compliment.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't think that's a bad question.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I don't think it's a bad question either.
- 25:39Speaker 3: All Right, who's gonna time me?
- 25:40Speaker 4: I'm up next, I'll ti Kevin get the time are out?
- 25:44Speaker 4: I have a presentation for you guys, boy ready said go.
- 25:47Speaker 4: You guys know that I love fashion. You know I
- 25:48Speaker 4: love shoes, you know I love weird things. Last time
- 25:51Speaker 4: it came to you guys with a fashion thing that
- 25:53Speaker 4: I wanted to buy, one legged pants, it was one
- 25:55Speaker 4: legged pants. You guys hated them. I love them. I
- 25:58Speaker 4: didn't end up buying them. Now I kind of really
- 26:00Speaker 4: want these new Crocs. Rocks and Sowarska Crystals are doing
- 26:04Speaker 4: a collab. They are three hundred dollars to twelve hundred,
- 26:08Speaker 4: depending on which one you buy, Okay, and I kind
- 26:10Speaker 4: of feel like I need them.
- 26:11Speaker 6: I think they're pretty iconic. Honestly likes them anything slightly.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Those are not terrible. Thirty seconds is up as your friend.
- 26:20Speaker 1: We establish here that we're friends, and you always talk
- 26:23Speaker 1: about your credit card debt. I would say, stay away
- 26:25Speaker 1: from the crystal Crocks.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Fine, Kevin, all right.
- 26:32Speaker 1: But I don't hate the shoes themselves.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Okay, of course you don't hate the shoes. The ones
- 26:35Speaker 4: that can't buy the pants, guys, those.
- 26:37Speaker 1: That can afford, yeah, then buy the pants.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Peo both hated them.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Are the one legged pants half as expensive as two
- 26:43Speaker 1: legged pants.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I was just gonna buy pants and cut the one
- 26:46Speaker 4: off like cheap pants. So yeah, they were going to
- 26:49Speaker 4: be very inexpensive. I wonder if I could diy my
- 26:53Speaker 4: own Crocs.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I could try anything.
- 26:56Speaker 3: You don't have a lot of confidence and me do you?
- 26:58Speaker 1: I just think you could definitely try. This has been the.
- 27:01Speaker 7: Leftovers one oh seven five The River, Heikey, Zach and
- 27:05Speaker 7: man in the Morning.
- 27:06Speaker 1: If you're struggling what do I get Mom for Mother's Day?
- 27:08Speaker 1: We've got you covered. What was gonna say? I don't know.
- 27:13Speaker 2: It's one oh seven five the River. We've got you covered,
- 27:15Speaker 2: We've got your back. I think I got a little
- 27:17Speaker 2: confused in my head there. But today's Daily Double Tap
- 27:21Speaker 2: is letting you know exactly what mom wants her Mother's do.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Okay, great, Kevin found it. Hopefully he can explain it
- 27:25Speaker 4: a little bit better. We're gonna play it for you.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Oh that was great. What do you mean?
- 27:29Speaker 7: One O seven five The River, Heikey, Zach and Mano
- 27:32Speaker 7: in the Morning.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Found today is daily double Tap that we're gonna play
- 27:35Speaker 4: for you on one oh seven five The River. He
- 27:36Speaker 4: didn't do a great job at selling it, so we're
- 27:40Speaker 4: gonna give him another shot to explain what this is
- 27:42Speaker 4: all about.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I short circuited for a second. There happened before, Miles Smith.
- 27:46Speaker 2: But Mother's Day is Sunday, and I know a lot
- 27:48Speaker 2: of people are probably still wondering what mom wants for
- 27:51Speaker 2: Mother's Day.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Yeah, this is it. This is a thirty second. This
- 27:54Speaker 1: is a clear cut. He's gonna tell you exactly what moms.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Want for Mother's Okay, can't wait to hear this.
- 27:58Speaker 1: All Right, here we go.
- 28:00Speaker 5: Your mom really wants for Mother's Day is to not
- 28:02Speaker 5: be your mom. Oh, just for the day, not for
- 28:04Speaker 5: the whole thing. And if you have a wife, she
- 28:06Speaker 5: didn't want to be anything for that day. She just
- 28:08Speaker 5: wants to be in a dark room by herself with
- 28:11Speaker 5: maybe Netflix or a book or maybe nothing, just nobody.
- 28:14Speaker 5: And you'll be like, hey, do you want breakfast in
- 28:17Speaker 5: bed for Mother's Day? And she'll be like, no, I
- 28:19Speaker 5: just don't come in here. This is where I am today.
- 28:22Speaker 5: And then tomorrow I'll come out and make sure that
- 28:24Speaker 5: everybody has everything they need. But for today, lock your
- 28:27Speaker 5: mom in a dark room for Mother's Day.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Honestly, I'm not a mom, and that sounds nice for me.
- 28:31Speaker 1: She sounds lovely. So there you go. If you don't
- 28:34Speaker 1: know what to get mom, just lock her in a
- 28:36Speaker 1: dark room.
- 28:36Speaker 3: For you're in a dark room. She'll be happy.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all she wants. We made it through the
- 28:40Speaker 1: daily level. We can get there. But here we are.
