- 0:48Speaker 1: ay man, I was looking at something real quick. So yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 1: so we're here. Try to be here Mondays through Fridays
- 0:54Speaker 1: five thirty am Eastern Standard time. Amen. And I try
- 0:58Speaker 1: my best to get into the studio on time. I
- 1:00Speaker 1: am not a morning person naturally. This is a supernatural
- 1:05Speaker 1: thing that I wake up so early in the morning
- 1:07Speaker 1: to do this, Amen. But this morning was a little different.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I woke up suddenly like around three o'clock in the morning,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and I really couldn't get back to sleep. So when
- 1:17Speaker 1: I wake up on those hours, I just start to pray.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I start to pray you in my spiritual voice, amen,
- 1:27Speaker 1: my inner voice. I don't pray out loud at that time,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and then people don't think I'm nuts, Amen, and they'll
- 1:33Speaker 1: be like, why are you so up sur early praying
- 1:35Speaker 1: out loud like that? But when you wake up suddenly, Amen,
- 1:39Speaker 1: I suggest you start praying. That's good waking you up
- 1:42Speaker 1: for something. Amen. So that's why I was like, well,
- 1:47Speaker 1: so today we're talking about emotional health. Emotional health today
- 1:52Speaker 1: in the morning Devo. What does it mean? What is
- 1:54Speaker 1: it for? Amen? How powerful it could be when you
- 1:58Speaker 1: have your health in all areas, including your emotions. Amen,
- 2:02Speaker 1: Sister Joanne, I see you, good morning, God bless you.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to the morning devote my sister and my friend.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Let me just make sure the volume is good for
- 2:09Speaker 1: you to get over. Yes, it is so. Emotional health
- 2:14Speaker 1: is dealing with our emotions. We have emotions for a reason.
- 2:17Speaker 1: God put it there. Amen. It's okay to be emotional,
- 2:21Speaker 1: but we have to have control over our emotions and
- 2:24Speaker 1: not allow our emotions to control us. Amen, What pain
- 2:30Speaker 1: or emotional burden are you holding onto? What are you
- 2:34Speaker 1: holding onto? What pain? Are people hold onto pain? You
- 2:39Speaker 1: might be thinking, why would anybody hold on to pain? Well,
- 2:43Speaker 1: that's a good question, and I'm gonna try to answer
- 2:45Speaker 1: that today. According to the Word and Psalms thirty four
- 2:48Speaker 1: and eighteen, we have a solution, a remedy Amen, in
- 2:52Speaker 1: the Word of God. I'm gonna hit two scriptures, but
- 2:55Speaker 1: the main one is Psalm thirty four and eighteen. Then
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a bonus scripture during on the
- 3:00Speaker 1: DeVos session today, what pain? Think about this? What pain
- 3:04Speaker 1: or emotional burden are you holding onto you yourself? Are
- 3:08Speaker 1: you holding on to some kind of emotional burden? Are
- 3:11Speaker 1: you holding onto some kind of pain? We'll think about it, Amen,
- 3:14Speaker 1: and we're gonna see what the Word of God has
- 3:16Speaker 1: to say about that. So if you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:21Speaker 1: prayer requests, or anything along those lines, please don't hesitate
- 3:24Speaker 1: to leave it on a live chat. That's what we're
- 3:25Speaker 1: here for. Amen. I'm trying to reach out to my friends.
- 3:31Speaker 1: See how she was doing, Amen, to see how the
- 3:36Speaker 1: prayer requests Erika Ramos how she was doing I get
- 3:40Speaker 1: no response, but on social media I saw some good things, Amen,
- 3:45Speaker 1: some promising things. So we're trusting in Christ to really
- 3:50Speaker 1: do a miracle work. And two families Ramos family, Amen,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and also for the hemen as family a man. Two
- 3:57Speaker 1: prayers that have been on top of my list as
- 4:01Speaker 1: we've been diving into these morning DeVos. I've had those
- 4:04Speaker 1: two families in my heart a man recently, So let's
- 4:07Speaker 1: go for it. We're gonna pray first. After we pray,
- 4:09Speaker 1: we'll share this out for like sixty seconds, and then
- 4:12Speaker 1: on the other side of the sixty seconds, we'll come
- 4:14Speaker 1: right back Amen, and get into our first scripture, which
- 4:17Speaker 1: is Psalms thirty four Versus number eighteen. Are you ready,
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm ready. Father, in the mighty, holy, powerful name of Jesus,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I pray, Lord God, that you will continue to give
- 4:28Speaker 1: us stability in our hearts, minds, and our physical way,
- 4:34Speaker 1: emotional way, and our spiritual way, that you, Lord God
- 4:37Speaker 1: will concee the gouddess by way of your Holy Spirit.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I pray peace over every single person that's listening and watching.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I pray peace over myself, my family, my wife, our children,
- 4:47Speaker 1: our grandchildren, both sides of our families, both from the
- 4:52Speaker 1: youngest to the very oldest, and every single person in between,
- 4:56Speaker 1: our friends and their families as well. Peace, the peace
- 5:00Speaker 1: God which transcends all understanding. The world doesn't understand the
- 5:04Speaker 1: peace that God offers. But Lord God, we have it,
- 5:07Speaker 1: and I'm grateful. I have it, and I'm grateful. Thank
- 5:09Speaker 1: you so much for your peace. I pray a hedge
- 5:11Speaker 1: of protection over my body physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I
- 5:16Speaker 1: pray that over myself and every single person connected to me,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and every single person that's watching or listening. I pray,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Lord God, a hedge of protection. That you will guard
- 5:25Speaker 1: and guide us through this life, and that we will
- 5:28Speaker 1: position ourselves for a blessing, position ourselves for mercy, position
- 5:31Speaker 1: ourselves for grace, and position ourselves to be your voice
- 5:35Speaker 1: and to speak life according to your word and purpose
- 5:38Speaker 1: over every life that we come across, Speak life, not death.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I thank you, Lord God for your your well people
- 5:45Speaker 1: call energy. I thank you, Lo God for your Holy Spirit,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and I pray Lord God, that your Holy Spirit continue
- 5:51Speaker 1: to move us in a way that we should be moving,
- 5:54Speaker 1: that we will be united in the body of Christ,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and that we will not simplify things that need to
- 6:00Speaker 1: be difficult, and we need to go for the difficult
- 6:04Speaker 1: things and ask you, Lo God, to help us through
- 6:07Speaker 1: these things. Not a simple way out, not a quick
- 6:10Speaker 1: fix or anything like that. We need you, Lo God,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and I pray Lo God, that every single person that
- 6:16Speaker 1: continues to have emotional barriers or emotional issues that low God.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Today we will be set free. They will be set free,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and we will move according to your victorious ways. And
- 6:29Speaker 1: we will know that your word is a servant right
- 6:32Speaker 1: to those who believe in your word, and that Lor God,
- 6:35Speaker 1: we can serve others with the very word that we have,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and others will receive the power, grace, love and mercy
- 6:43Speaker 1: of your word, of your grace, of your servant Jesus,
- 6:48Speaker 1: of Holy Spirit God, and of course of the Father
- 6:51Speaker 1: who loves and the son who says. I pray, Lord
- 6:54Speaker 1: God by faith, knowing that you hear these prayers and
- 6:57Speaker 1: your answer them according to your will and purpose for
- 6:59Speaker 1: every single person out there. And Jesus Holy Name, I
- 7:02Speaker 1: praise by faith and those who agree we say amen
- 7:05Speaker 1: to the Amen. So let's go for emotional health today
- 7:08Speaker 1: in the morning. DEVO. Let's take sixty seconds. Help me
- 7:11Speaker 1: shut this out, and when we come back, we'll get
- 7:13Speaker 1: right into it. I'll be right back. Man a man.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Let's go for it, ladies and gentlemen. I want to
- 8:35Speaker 1: put this word on the screen. For those who are listening.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You already know the routine. If you've been following me
- 8:39Speaker 1: or listening, you're not going to be the word for words.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I know you're listening driving, maybe you're working out,
- 8:45Speaker 1: maybe you're on your walk a job a man, and
- 8:47Speaker 1: you have your your ear AirPods or your ear plugs in. Amen,
- 8:51Speaker 1: it's all good. You already know that we're going to
- 8:53Speaker 1: see through our mind right when we're listening to the audio.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I believe the audio to me and my home bullet pinion,
- 9:00Speaker 1: I believe audio page is a better picture than what
- 9:03Speaker 1: you see on the screen. So keep on listening, no worries. Amen,
- 9:07Speaker 1: We're gonna read this word for words, so that way
- 9:09Speaker 1: no one will be on a different page, but all
- 9:12Speaker 1: be on the same page of the same scripture that
- 9:14Speaker 1: we're all going to be presented with today. And man
- 9:17Speaker 1: and I have a bonus one for you, so for
- 9:19Speaker 1: fare for that. I'm excited for this one, so emotional
- 9:23Speaker 1: health on the morning devo, What does it mean, what's
- 9:27Speaker 1: the solution, what's the remedy? Amen? And what's the word
- 9:29Speaker 1: on it? Most importantly, Psalms thirty four eighteen says the
- 9:34Speaker 1: Lord is near to the heartbroken, and he saves those
- 9:39Speaker 1: who are crushed in spirit, contrade in heart, truly sorry
- 9:45Speaker 1: for their sin. When I see a person hurting, literally
- 9:51Speaker 1: a lot of times, I feel the unction to tell them, listen,
- 9:54Speaker 1: God is closer than you, to you right now than
- 9:58Speaker 1: you ever thought, did you ever imagine? According to the scripture,
- 10:01Speaker 1: the Lord is near to those who will have a
- 10:03Speaker 1: broken heart, and not only close, but he saves those
- 10:08Speaker 1: who are crushing spirit, those who are truly sorry for
- 10:11Speaker 1: their sin. That means they're truly in repentance, not just
- 10:16Speaker 1: saying oh I'm sorry God and telling people I'm sorry,
- 10:19Speaker 1: I won't do this again. And then they know that
- 10:21Speaker 1: they have this habitual sin going on. They know that
- 10:25Speaker 1: they're functioning sin addicts. Just like a functioning addict or
- 10:29Speaker 1: a functioning alcoholic that goes to work all the time
- 10:32Speaker 1: and they're drunk every day, but they could go to work,
- 10:36Speaker 1: they get up, they hire every day, but they could
- 10:38Speaker 1: go to work and get up, get up and go
- 10:40Speaker 1: to work. Those are habitual sins. I'm talking about those
- 10:44Speaker 1: who are truly sorry for their sin. The Word is
- 10:49Speaker 1: talking about those are truly sorry for the sin. The
- 10:51Speaker 1: Lord is near to those people who are heartbroken, and
- 10:54Speaker 1: he saves those who are crushed in spirit. So when
- 10:58Speaker 1: you see a hurting person, know that God is near. Amen.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Go ahead, and you know, approach them in love, approach
- 11:05Speaker 1: them in mercy, don't judge. God is doing a work
- 11:09Speaker 1: in their heart, in their mind, if they're truly repenting,
- 11:12Speaker 1: if they're truly sorry for their sin, if they have
- 11:15Speaker 1: a heart that's contract Amen, towards God. Let us know
- 11:20Speaker 1: and be encouraged that God is near to that person
- 11:23Speaker 1: right now, Amen, amazing. Right. Here's the bonus Psalms one
- 11:27Speaker 1: forty seven, verse three. Salms one forty seven, verse three
- 11:31Speaker 1: says he heals the broken hearted, who heals the Father
- 11:35Speaker 1: God Yahweh. Heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds, Wow,
- 11:43Speaker 1: healing their pain and comforting their sorrow. You could also
- 11:48Speaker 1: cross reference this scripture this promise with Isaiah the Prophet,
- 11:53Speaker 1: chapter fifty seven, verse fifteen, Isaiah sixty one and verse one,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and then a New Covenant. In Luke chapter four, verse eighteen,
- 12:02Speaker 1: he heals the broken hearted. How many people out there
- 12:07Speaker 1: have been broken hearted? I've been broken harder before. A
- 12:09Speaker 1: man lost, some loved ones, betrayal, just all kind of stuff.
- 12:16Speaker 1: The heartbroken and binds up their wounds, binds them up
- 12:22Speaker 1: healing their pain. I don't know who out there wants
- 12:26Speaker 1: their pain not to be healed. I don't know who
- 12:29Speaker 1: out there is embracing pain as something that's good to
- 12:32Speaker 1: their body emotionally and physically and spiritually. That's why God heals, right,
- 12:39Speaker 1: heals their pain and comforts their sorrow. There's good days
- 12:44Speaker 1: in this bad days. Those preachers or people that are
- 12:48Speaker 1: out there telling you listen, once you become a ball
- 12:50Speaker 1: again believer, everything's all good. Life is great, and every
- 12:55Speaker 1: day is going to be a good day. Technically, every
- 12:57Speaker 1: day is a good day in Christ. Right. But in
- 13:01Speaker 1: the meantime, in this world where we are at, it's
- 13:05Speaker 1: a broken world, broken system. Amen. We will have trials
- 13:09Speaker 1: and tribulation and trouble and pain and sorrow. We will
- 13:12Speaker 1: be rejected. But God will show up in all those
- 13:15Speaker 1: areas a man, and he'll get us through it. Sometimes
- 13:19Speaker 1: he doesn't take things away. He leaves it there so
- 13:22Speaker 1: we could understand that He is with us in it.
- 13:26Speaker 1: God is not right mocked. Don't be fooled. God is
- 13:30Speaker 1: not mocked. God is not afraid of situations in this world.
- 13:34Speaker 1: God is not surprised when we're going through a bad day,
- 13:37Speaker 1: or going through pain or heartbroken. God is not surprised
- 13:42Speaker 1: by our situation. He knows every single one of our situations.
- 13:46Speaker 1: And he's right there with us with open arms, ready
- 13:50Speaker 1: to encourage us, lift us. He's actually Jesus is praying
- 13:54Speaker 1: for us, interceding between God and man. Amazing holy Spirit
- 13:58Speaker 1: is living within every one of God's children. And by
- 14:01Speaker 1: the way, Jesus is the only way we have the
- 14:05Speaker 1: right to be called children of God. He's the only
- 14:07Speaker 1: one who gives us the right to be called children
- 14:10Speaker 1: of God. So I know, surprised a lot of people say, well,
- 14:12Speaker 1: we're all God's children. Not really, Amen, God, through Jesus,
- 14:18Speaker 1: Jesus is the only one that gives us the right
- 14:22Speaker 1: to be called a child of God. Amen. Let me
- 14:24Speaker 1: get to my notes so could continue going on with
- 14:27Speaker 1: this idea. Amen of emotional health and the purpose behind pain.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Sometimes God would use your pain. I think all the time.
- 14:37Speaker 1: God doesn't waste any moment in our lives a man.
- 14:41Speaker 1: God is a purpose filled God. Amen. Even our pain
- 14:47Speaker 1: can be used for His glory. I know this sounds
- 14:50Speaker 1: weird and strange, but our pain is for a purpose.
- 14:55Speaker 1: If you're in Christ, get ready your pain. My pain
- 14:59Speaker 1: is be for a purpose and a reason. Well, I
- 15:02Speaker 1: understand it all the time. Definitely won't raise my hand
- 15:05Speaker 1: all the time for it. Hey, man, I just trust
- 15:08Speaker 1: and know that God is doing a good thing right.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And greater is he who is in us than he
- 15:15Speaker 1: who is in the world. So a lot of people
- 15:18Speaker 1: are blaming the devil for their pain. A lot of
- 15:20Speaker 1: people are blaming the devil for their heart breaking brokenness.
- 15:25Speaker 1: A lot of people are blaming the devil for all
- 15:27Speaker 1: kinds of stuff. Listen, sometimes God is using our pain
- 15:31Speaker 1: and our sorrow for a purpose and a plan. We
- 15:34Speaker 1: won't know what's good unless we go through something bad.
- 15:37Speaker 1: How would you compare? How would you know the difference
- 15:40Speaker 1: between good and bad if you never experienced anything bad.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And I'm not promoting this. I'm not saying, hey, let's
- 15:47Speaker 1: pray for something bad to happen. I'm not saying that.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm saying, I know for sure that storms are coming.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I know for sure that somebody right now is in
- 15:54Speaker 1: a storm. Somebody just get out of a storm. Somebody's
- 15:57Speaker 1: in a storm. So we're all in this together, right,
- 16:01Speaker 1: believe it or not. Or We're gonna suffer, believe it
- 16:04Speaker 1: or not. We're gonna go through pain, believe it or not.
- 16:06Speaker 1: We're gonna have heartbreak, believing it or not. We're gonna
- 16:09Speaker 1: lose loved ones believing it or not. We might get
- 16:11Speaker 1: struck with illness or disease or whatever. Amen, But believe
- 16:15Speaker 1: this that God is with us in those times of pain,
- 16:19Speaker 1: and those times of sorrow, and those times of sickness
- 16:21Speaker 1: and health. Amen, He's with us, and an illness, he's
- 16:25Speaker 1: with us. Amen. If we're financially set, he's with us.
- 16:28Speaker 1: If we're not financially set with he's with us. If
- 16:31Speaker 1: we're in great relationship with everybody, or we're not in
- 16:34Speaker 1: great relationship with everybody, God's with us. He's closer than
- 16:38Speaker 1: you think, especially to those who are broken hearted. Amen.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So when you go to God with all heavy heart, amen,
- 16:48Speaker 1: you know you have wounds inside that we can't fix
- 16:52Speaker 1: on our own. Right. Sometimes the pain is unexplainable, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: sometimes the thoughts that we struggle with are out of control.
- 17:03Speaker 1: But God knows the source of every hurt. He knows
- 17:06Speaker 1: the source of every pain, Amen, whether that pain was
- 17:10Speaker 1: caused by somebody else or was caused by a very
- 17:13Speaker 1: own self. Amen. God knows the choices that we make.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So what do we do? Well, we lay these burdens,
- 17:22Speaker 1: we lay these pains, we lay these sorrows at his feet,
- 17:26Speaker 1: because at Jesus feet everything is made new. At the
- 17:30Speaker 1: feet of Jesus, Amen, Jesus doesn't even have to touch
- 17:33Speaker 1: the situation. Just place it at his feet and watch
- 17:37Speaker 1: what happens in your life. So you might even feel
- 17:42Speaker 1: during those times distant, like, oh, God is far away.
- 17:45Speaker 1: But remember the scripture. God is close to the broken hearted,
- 17:48Speaker 1: to those who are truly sorry for their sin, those
- 17:55Speaker 1: who are repenting. God is right, There's close. So God
- 18:01Speaker 1: is close to us right now. I think when people say,
- 18:05Speaker 1: you know, we have to find time to get closer
- 18:07Speaker 1: to God, I think there might be a misconception there.
- 18:11Speaker 1: God Holy Spirit lives inside of every one of God's children,
- 18:15Speaker 1: right sons and daughters of Christ, sons and daughters of God.
- 18:19Speaker 1: There can not be anything closer, anyone closer than one
- 18:22Speaker 1: living side of you. But I understand what people say.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You have to quiet down the voices. A man get alone. Sometimes,
- 18:30Speaker 1: a man reads a scripture alone sometimes and people say
- 18:33Speaker 1: that's getting closer to God. I don't really think that's
- 18:37Speaker 1: what it means. But I understand when people say I
- 18:40Speaker 1: got to get closer to God. God will wrap you
- 18:42Speaker 1: and his love a man, just like a healing blanket,
- 18:48Speaker 1: just like a annointment that you put on a ligament
- 18:53Speaker 1: or something like, you have pain in your knee, and
- 18:55Speaker 1: they give you this thing to rub on your knee
- 18:57Speaker 1: so that way the pain will go away. God wrap
- 19:00Speaker 1: us with a better pain relief. He wraps us with
- 19:03Speaker 1: his love. Amen. So you're not far, especially if you're
- 19:07Speaker 1: broken hearted. He's not far. He's close. He's wrapping you
- 19:11Speaker 1: with his love. It's like a healing blanket. So when
- 19:15Speaker 1: God shows up, he's actually speaking peace to your life
- 19:17Speaker 1: and speaking peace to the storms. Amen. Maybe that storm
- 19:22Speaker 1: is a literal storm that you're going through, maybe it's
- 19:25Speaker 1: a storm in your mindset. But God's right there. He
- 19:29Speaker 1: knows how to calm down the racing thoughts that we have.
- 19:33Speaker 1: He knows how to get us to a place of
- 19:36Speaker 1: peace when we have anxious feelings, and he knows how
- 19:41Speaker 1: to protect us and guard us and guide us through sorrow.
- 19:46Speaker 1: He knows how to comfort us through sorrow. And since
- 19:49Speaker 1: we know the comfort of God, that's why we could
- 19:51Speaker 1: go ahead and comfort others when they're going through something. Right.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It's a beautiful thing when a brother in Christ or
- 19:57Speaker 1: a system in Christ comes alongside of another brother system
- 20:00Speaker 1: in Christ and say listen, I'm here for you. I'm
- 20:03Speaker 1: here to listen, amen, And I know that you're going
- 20:06Speaker 1: through some sorrow and pain. But let's trust and believe
- 20:10Speaker 1: that there was a God who knows that sorrow and pain. Actually,
- 20:13Speaker 1: Jesus went through sorrow and pain himself. Right, the ultimate
- 20:17Speaker 1: sacrifice was what Jesus did on that cross. And it
- 20:21Speaker 1: looked painful to me. What about you? It looked like
- 20:24Speaker 1: a lot of sorrow, looked like a lot of pain, suffering, agony.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Jesus to Christ, the god Man, the perfect example, the
- 20:30Speaker 1: reflection of yahweh amen, did it for you and did
- 20:33Speaker 1: it for me. He went through all of that so
- 20:36Speaker 1: that way we wouldn't have to do that alone. And
- 20:40Speaker 1: it looked like Jesus like he was surrounded by a
- 20:42Speaker 1: lot of people. He had twelve disciples, came down to
- 20:45Speaker 1: eleven by the time he got to the cross. But listen,
- 20:48Speaker 1: he was really alone because nobody else was willing to
- 20:52Speaker 1: go on that cross to die for all humanity. Right,
- 20:56Speaker 1: So he was basically on his own, him being God
- 20:59Speaker 1: the man, relying on the Father, Amen, and promising Holy
- 21:03Speaker 1: Spirit to come after he has ascended. So asks him
- 21:11Speaker 1: right now, say Lord, you created every part of me,
- 21:15Speaker 1: and acknowledge that created our body, He created our soul,
- 21:19Speaker 1: and he created our spirit, like every part of us
- 21:22Speaker 1: is a creation from God. So we need to approach
- 21:26Speaker 1: one another and respect one another as a creation of God. Right.
- 21:32Speaker 1: If the world would do that, it would be a
- 21:35Speaker 1: better system, be a better place. Wars will be like
- 21:39Speaker 1: cut short. When God changes the hearts of the leaders
- 21:42Speaker 1: in this world, Amen, there will be less war. But
- 21:46Speaker 1: as you see, there's more war going on because people's
- 21:49Speaker 1: hearts are cold. People are not really sorry for their sin,
- 21:53Speaker 1: they're not really repenting. So there's a lot of trouble.
- 21:56Speaker 1: There's a lot of pain, a lot of sorrow going on.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Even though God is clo closer or close to the
- 22:01Speaker 1: broken hearted, he's close to those who are suffering. He's
- 22:05Speaker 1: close to those who are in pain. He heals the pain.
- 22:08Speaker 1: He comforts us through it all. But a lot of
- 22:11Speaker 1: people don't realize that, and they think that they need
- 22:14Speaker 1: some kind of substance where they need a gurul, or
- 22:16Speaker 1: they need something else or religion instead of the relationship
- 22:20Speaker 1: with God that God through Jesus offers. Amen. Good morning
- 22:24Speaker 1: to sjoys, Good morning, God, blessed, praise the Lord. Bless
- 22:26Speaker 1: us to the group, and be a courage in the Lord. Yes,
- 22:29Speaker 1: we are encouraged by the word of God. Psalms thirty
- 22:32Speaker 1: four where we were thirty four and eighteen Amen, and
- 22:37Speaker 1: Psalms one forty seven and three, where God says he
- 22:41Speaker 1: heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. A man,
- 22:45Speaker 1: He doesn't bind up our wounds to cause more harm
- 22:47Speaker 1: to us. He binds up our wounds so that way
- 22:50Speaker 1: we could live at peace even through the hardship. Right,
- 22:54Speaker 1: we find peace, We find peace. Amen to change new season. Yes, Yes, Yes,
- 23:02Speaker 1: heal the traumas. How many people have gone through trauma.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I've gone through trauma. God heals it, even the memories
- 23:09Speaker 1: of those traumas. God heals it. The broken pieces because
- 23:14Speaker 1: of the trauma. God puts it back together. God knows
- 23:17Speaker 1: how to tear it out, tear down the walls that
- 23:19Speaker 1: needs to be tored down in our hearts and our
- 23:21Speaker 1: minds and our lives. Hey man, a lot of us
- 23:24Speaker 1: know how to build the walls. Right. God is telling us,
- 23:27Speaker 1: let him tear those walls down. And sometimes those walls
- 23:33Speaker 1: are surrounding your heart, not letting anything good in. Right,
- 23:37Speaker 1: if you don't let anything good into your heart, nothing
- 23:40Speaker 1: will good will come out of your heart, and nothing
- 23:42Speaker 1: good will come out of your mouth, because out of
- 23:45Speaker 1: the abundance of the heart, the Bible says, the mouth speaks.
- 23:48Speaker 1: So if we ever met somebody who's always negative all
- 23:51Speaker 1: the time, is because they put a wall over their heart.
- 23:54Speaker 1: They not allowing good, the goodness of God, the people
- 23:57Speaker 1: of God, the Word of God. They're not allowing anything in.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So that's why everything that comes out of their mouth
- 24:02Speaker 1: is negative. Their attitude is negative. Amen, And that's because
- 24:07Speaker 1: they don't know the reality of who God is and
- 24:10Speaker 1: what God wants to do in that person's life. That's
- 24:12Speaker 1: why prayer is key. Amen. Sometimes you can't you can't
- 24:16Speaker 1: debate nobody or argue nobody into the kingdom. You have
- 24:20Speaker 1: to show kindness, and the kindness of God leads people
- 24:23Speaker 1: to repent. That means they're truly sorry for the disposition,
- 24:27Speaker 1: truly sorry for their sin, and they start realizing there's
- 24:30Speaker 1: no other way for them to get out of work.
- 24:33Speaker 1: They're crimerly and other than God getting them out of it. Amen.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So share it down those worlds that are built around
- 24:41Speaker 1: your heart and ask God to teach you and teach
- 24:45Speaker 1: me to trust again, especially to trust God. Some people
- 24:50Speaker 1: don't trust God for whatever reasons. Amen. You know you've
- 24:54Speaker 1: been in the circle. You talk about God. Some people
- 24:56Speaker 1: are like, yeah, Amen, is powerful, and other people are
- 24:59Speaker 1: just looking at like, yeah, that's not for me. Got
- 25:02Speaker 1: to respect that because you don't know where they are
- 25:04Speaker 1: in their life. Some people don't trust God because maybe
- 25:07Speaker 1: they had made a prayer out of desperation, they needed
- 25:10Speaker 1: the miracle and it never came through right the way
- 25:14Speaker 1: they thought it would come through, And then I trust
- 25:17Speaker 1: in God right now. So we have to be patient
- 25:18Speaker 1: with one another. I've been in a place before I
- 25:21Speaker 1: was say that I didn't trust God. I knew there
- 25:23Speaker 1: was a God, and I knew there was a Jesus
- 25:25Speaker 1: who died for a people. I just didn't know that
- 25:28Speaker 1: Jesus died for me. I didn't know I could trust
- 25:31Speaker 1: in him personally. And I didn't know there was a
- 25:33Speaker 1: personal God that could really transform my life until I asked.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Sometimes we don't have because we don't ask. So I've
- 25:40Speaker 1: been there. I've been in that place where I didn't
- 25:42Speaker 1: trust God. I didn't believe in him. I knew about him.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I had a way that I could work around him.
- 25:51Speaker 1: People thought I was a church boy sometimes because I
- 25:53Speaker 1: used to have some connection with the Catholic Youth organization.
- 25:57Speaker 1: But I was far from God. But guess what. I
- 26:00Speaker 1: became sorrowful and broken hearted, and then I felt the
- 26:03Speaker 1: nearness of God. So I said, wait, if you're near me,
- 26:07Speaker 1: change me. And that's part of my testimony. People know
- 26:11Speaker 1: my testimony. If you don't know, it should be somewhere
- 26:14Speaker 1: on YouTube. I'll sing you the link if you need it.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Restore the joy of my salvation. Some people get saved
- 26:22Speaker 1: at that joy, right at that zeal And then somehow
- 26:25Speaker 1: along the way you get into some kind of religious mindset.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You surround yourself with other people with that same religious mindset.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Maybe it's legalism, maybe it's like lukewarm Christianity. Maybe it's
- 26:36Speaker 1: like that dark I call it like a dark group
- 26:39Speaker 1: that they have all these secrets and they keep those
- 26:42Speaker 1: secrets under some kind of dark veil, and then they
- 26:45Speaker 1: go and preach, teach worship and all that stuff. You
- 26:48Speaker 1: don't want to get involved with people like that because
- 26:50Speaker 1: now you're going to lose the joy of your salvation
- 26:54Speaker 1: and it's gonna cause you to lose peace, cause you
- 26:57Speaker 1: to lose focus, and cause you not to be grateful
- 26:59Speaker 1: for God has done your life. There's a lot more here, Amen,
- 27:02Speaker 1: I'll probably have to get back into this next time,
- 27:04Speaker 1: but I'm out of time for now. Psalms or was
- 27:08Speaker 1: it thirty eight? Excuse me? Psalms thirty four, verse eighteen.
- 27:13Speaker 1: That's where we started. Read the whole chapter of Psalm
- 27:16Speaker 1: thirty four, and I gave you a bonus Psalm one
- 27:19Speaker 1: forty seven and three a man. So the Lord is
- 27:22Speaker 1: close to the broken hearted and saves those who are
- 27:25Speaker 1: crushing spirit. And then the other scripture says he heals
- 27:28Speaker 1: the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. So we
- 27:31Speaker 1: win in all those scenarios eventually, right but right now
- 27:35Speaker 1: we have God and we could trust in him right now, today,
- 27:39Speaker 1: in your situation, right now, in real time. So I'm
- 27:42Speaker 1: out of time. But God bless you all, God keep
- 27:45Speaker 1: you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace,
