2:00
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't eat.
2:01
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm drunk back here with Paul and Paul.
2:03
[SPEAKER_05]: I was like, okay, just not that much to talk about this ventilator.
2:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Last night, something happened, and it's ridiculous and embarrassing and a lot of things.
2:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So it turns out the gimmick of the fool is a shoot and you might have y'all got no car accident, and he's fine and the other person in the car that he crashed into is fine, except for a leg injury, although we don't know
2:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, but he's, uh, drivers like it's had been, uh, expired for about a year.
2:38
[SPEAKER_05]: He had been in the gas.
2:41
[SPEAKER_05]: So he has been, uh, spent it for three months and taking a 50% paid cut.
2:45
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
2:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, as the real world tag league gets underway and, uh, yeah.
2:53
[SPEAKER_05]: They don't have much, but, uh, A.O.G.
2:57
[SPEAKER_05]: and S.I.R.O.T.W.
2:58
[SPEAKER_05]: You must know more and they're going to be restarted after he comes back, although you never know.
3:05
[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, A.O.G.E.
3:07
[SPEAKER_05]: uh, it's funny because he did a press conference where he was working glasses and he'd taken the diet of his air.
3:11
[SPEAKER_05]: This is no serious, right?
3:12
[SPEAKER_05]: You're not going to show up with your, like, uh, dive.
3:16
[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't realize that was him.
3:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
3:19
[SPEAKER_05]: and apologize and everything like that.
3:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Very foolish of course not when you're licensed on time.
3:25
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what the, shall we say the litigious culture of Japan is an over auto abuse accidents.
3:31
[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know if he's getting sooner, it's going to be a big summary.
3:35
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, but obviously it's still embarrassing for the company, especially after other automotive accidents.
3:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Shall we say that they had been involved in this year?
3:43
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he especially does
3:48
[SPEAKER_05]: And I wonder how smashed up his Lexus gun?
3:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, he really got like, but I thought it was like his like, the person he was driving was first the one that got injured on the leg.
3:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, out of the way, but his Lexus.
4:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, his Lexus, for him, is that the stick?
4:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because when he follows that, it looks like Karba, you don't hope to come up with the Lexus.
4:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I mean, that looks to be the case that like all Japan wrestlers get like special deals at Carbel.
4:14
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean, what is fitting in to like a terrible year for him and many ways, right?
4:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, my first reaction is like, yeah, maybe he need like, I think it sucks that he screwed up the real world tag league.
4:26
[SPEAKER_05]: But him gone for a couple of months would not be the worst thing ever.
4:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Could be yeah, yeah, no actually probably he probably needs like he should probably like just I don't know like He I think he needs some time away.
4:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he needs like a bit of an ego track as well I've got the feeling to well this is the huge bit of a real trick.
4:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, for sure like that like this I thought it like I think you kind of need that and look here's the thing I mean I we don't know for sure and of course I have seen all sorts of rumors thoughts whirling around that he has a sizable hand in the booking
4:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Assuming so who knows if that's true or whatever.
5:02
[SPEAKER_05]: I most he obviously has something given that him in Cantor like the two highs right wrestlers last after Suwaman's gone right.
5:10
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean who else with they interest with that sort of thing other than maybe Decky.
5:14
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
5:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and it's the other thing.
5:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean like they aren't really that many like veterans left under promotion, right?
5:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Like is no like at this point of trying to think well like out of the contracted restless can't just a one with the most like like the longest term, right?
5:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Trying to think, yeah, like everybody else is going to do that.
5:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
5:36
[SPEAKER_02]: By a lot as well, like I don't think it's a vehicle anymore.
5:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
5:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I would tell you a career, yeah.
5:53
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, in terms of like being under like all Japan contract.
5:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no.
5:58
[SPEAKER_05]: No.
5:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Hokato and asking Dan.
6:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Hokato.
6:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Hokato.
6:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, true, true, true.
6:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot to add it all.
6:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Hokato would have did.
6:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Hokato did a couple months before Dan and asking.
6:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
6:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but like what I'm saying like it's a young like promotion right so like that actually doesn't leave a whole lot of people to actually like give the book to so I guess it just has to be kind to know unless they want to like get the cytos involved since I assume they have a bit more maturity instead but all the but it not experienced enough I would say yeah that's the thing they're not exposed to either his hands I right
6:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, Anza is both too young and not experienced enough, yeah.
6:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, same with Honda.
6:36
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I mean, yeah, I mean, we don't know who Why, but I just spot it hard with the area you had to input on any.
6:44
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, I mean, it's very obvious even like big.
6:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's all the comedy.
6:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
6:50
[SPEAKER_05]: So maybe things will work out.
6:51
[SPEAKER_05]: However, there's get there's more than just growing up the real world tag link.
6:55
[SPEAKER_05]: There was going to be a real one match real blood show on December 10th.
6:59
[SPEAKER_05]: where it was going to be no aria no more a drink versus axe which had been teased on the real axe account and um well it turns out that was clearly going to be aia because now you're no more a predator to tweet say his his opponent without naming him was spended by his promotion I wonder I wonder who just could be could be anybody so also
7:23
[SPEAKER_05]: And this is all machine translation, so be wary, but it sounds like that no more is done after the real tagly the way he phrased it.
7:31
[SPEAKER_05]: It was all Japan.
7:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, which is also very bad.
7:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, like it's just it's just all around it just it screws up so many things like it's.
7:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Again, I think the real, to me, the real world tag is still the worst one, right, because presumably those two were gonna win it or at the very least, go to the finals or be important.
7:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I get the very, very least, be important all the way until the end, and now that's just completely gone.
7:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, also, they should be very, no more to stay, because you just lie to the roster for three months.
8:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
8:07
[SPEAKER_05]: And, uh, well, I think somebody they have some money as well.
8:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, because they're all the thing of 50% of this.
8:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and I think it's also safe to say that no more on Honda, not wanting the real or a tech leak now.
8:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, uh, you think so.
8:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Although they could serve us.
8:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
8:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm like, well, I mean, somebody has to win, right?
8:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, go in the shino.
8:30
[SPEAKER_02]: No, we do like Haric was havoc.
8:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Ah, yeah, can't tell and give you what would be.
8:36
[SPEAKER_05]: I think that.
8:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's also kind of, well, that means that, like, I mean, I don't know what to plan.
8:42
[SPEAKER_02]: So, but I mean, that definitely means you're not going to do a title match at the Yoobi show again.
8:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like a title match.
8:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So, really think that's what we kind of know.
8:51
[SPEAKER_05]: We are a good choice and you beg no more to stay.
8:54
[SPEAKER_02]: yeah basically you know no we're sort of very upset about all this falling apart yeah i mean to be fair i mean what i would have done and like all depends like like what i would have done and like by like all from like all depends i would have like offered him somebody to like replace humour in the match whether that be like honda or i don't know if you want to give him like kento but you know yeah i would have like basically
9:20
[SPEAKER_02]: You see, you're a opponent, but like you can have like this guy instead and again, like why be upset with like all Japan when like well, he's not.
9:29
[SPEAKER_05]: He was full.
9:31
[SPEAKER_05]: We don't know who he's upset with.
9:32
[SPEAKER_05]: He just said that he was very disappointed about just not happening
9:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but again, I mean, that's well, like, as a older fan, I would have to spin like, well, you can, here is a replacement.
9:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, given that we're like, we're giving you that guy for free.
9:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's the other thing I wouldn't have to spin like here's a guy, but like, it's literally like, you can just have a free because we fucked up your plans.
9:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, given that they had only had one match, Paul, do you think that this was, um,
9:58
[SPEAKER_05]: They're just stuck in a way with Anzai.
10:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, you guys?
10:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but you know, like similar to like, Osawa going out of the N1 like Japanese promotions don't do that once the tournament has started.
10:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Like if this had literally happened last week before the tournament started, then that's what I think they would have done.
10:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I think they would have just been like here, here's Rio anyway.
10:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Like we have to shuffle the booking around still, but like we don't have to shuffle around as much as we would have had to do otherwise.
10:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, until it's a bad place in the real world, tagly before, yeah.
10:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Not a good.
10:34
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
10:34
[SPEAKER_05]: It's just so, they've got to work real hard to make the rest of the tournament good to make up for this.
10:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
10:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
10:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
10:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Like this is just a massive, like, again, it's supposed to be like the humus was supposed to be like one of the cornerstones of the whole thing.
10:48
[SPEAKER_02]: And now that that that was not there anymore.
10:51
[SPEAKER_02]: So now that all of it is just in flux, basically.
10:55
[SPEAKER_05]: And the main event of December 31st, like, especially not that I thought it was going to be this, but with Ayoyaki out.
11:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Is there anything that can really do other than, they really can't do anything other than Kentel versus Anza unless they have some big outside.
11:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, unless I don't know, I don't, I hope they don't see a method level, but like I'm kind of afraid that they're going to do.
11:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Canter is a stavey boy, but like, I don't know.
11:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
11:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I think it has to be turned on canter.
11:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I think it has to be answered.
11:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Like they just now have to like come up with a way where like and I still somehow get the match of canter where he beats him, which I assume was like the plan that they were going to do that during the real world tag league were like, and so I beat that also fits.
11:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Beats canter in the tag match and then gets the shot based off of that.
11:42
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, they can always, there's someone else that can always call.
11:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Now that they have some extra money to spend too.
11:48
[SPEAKER_05]: So, Wama?
11:49
[SPEAKER_05]: No.
11:50
[SPEAKER_05]: You know who I'm going to say.
11:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I don't think they're going to call in a countryma.
11:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that might literally be the last person that they're calling.
12:00
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they might literally call in a countryma.
12:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, you know what, no, actually, maybe, you know what, maybe she must actually more unlikely than a countryma based on the way that that whole relationship ended.
12:09
[SPEAKER_02]: because at least Necadrima put Anzail for.
12:14
[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
12:15
[SPEAKER_05]: So there's that.
12:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, in some better news, finally the Osama Suzuki album with all of a lot of wrestling themes have been released.
12:25
[SPEAKER_05]: So if you want Anzize theme, you want Dan's theme and the J.C. Lee theme.
12:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Those are all there.
12:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And there's actually quite a few other themes on there.
12:34
[SPEAKER_05]: There's like, uh, there's fan tat.
12:36
[SPEAKER_05]: There's Chono's old when he was a baby face fan.
12:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Tastic city.
12:40
[SPEAKER_05]: There's, uh, hold out by, uh, which is the moot of theme.
12:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Like it's actually a pretty good album.
12:44
[SPEAKER_05]: I was listening to it on, uh,
12:46
[SPEAKER_05]: uh YouTube music.
12:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
12:49
[SPEAKER_02]: No, like I, I, like obviously now that the ends, I famous finally there, like whenever next year, I'm gonna hit up Andrew to like redo the film, like that, that's gonna definitely go in there.
13:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Because we almost put it in their last time, but like we just had like a fan recorded version from inside the arena and it sounded like shit.
13:10
[SPEAKER_05]: We got some great
13:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
13:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Good luck.
13:16
[SPEAKER_05]: That doesn't mean we have Askio Yagi theme.
13:20
[SPEAKER_05]: Honda's Black Tiger theme.
13:22
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure which Black Tiger because it doesn't say.
13:24
[SPEAKER_05]: We got the Muga theme and then there's another Tetsumi food genomic theme on there.
13:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Grand Sword live version.
13:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And we've got a Kazumi Kaku to theme, which seems really random.
13:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, no doubt.
13:38
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a very random theme.
13:40
[SPEAKER_05]: It's on that.
13:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Koji Doi, Tetsuya,
13:43
[SPEAKER_05]: say a sonata probability, so that's older, and then real in a way, steam, and Fumi Hito Kihara, the tiger Kihara, the older near downstairs, he's also wrestling.
13:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, I'm a fan of that.
13:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So, yeah, check it out.
13:59
[SPEAKER_05]: It's it's a good album.
14:00
[SPEAKER_05]: And everything like that with all those own negotiate Ozaki.
14:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's a finally think, believe that is out.
14:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that took so long like it was so weird that no, but like I mean, I was released No, it's like nobody could really upload it.
14:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And like the second it like it's released like Somebody just immediately grabs it and uploads it basically Although in this case, I don't think it's even ripped that thing.
14:21
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like an official upload.
14:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
14:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, it's on YouTube music
14:25
[SPEAKER_05]: But I just find it funny that I mean it like cuz yeah, and I debut like yeah He would debut September 2022, so it's been three years Yeah, for for the ported and that so yeah, well, I'm happy to fill out Yeah, Dan's theme to yeah, no, like we've been having like almost everybody know I think from all Japan Yeah, let me think yeah Rising hell out of I don't but he just uses, but he knows two of the other six businesses No, he's not another thing not just a highway.
14:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay
14:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, so check that out.
14:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll go to Big Japan first.
15:01
[SPEAKER_05]: They had a show yesterday on November 25th.
15:04
[SPEAKER_05]: I'd cork it all in front of 407 fans and their last show cork it show before that had about 500 and like, you know,
15:14
[SPEAKER_05]: And then the show before that was 600.
15:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So, also Diabology is not saying the world of time, even by... No, which is bad.
15:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I had the feeling that he wasn't going to be that big of a draw.
15:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he's a great wrestler, but yeah, I didn't expect him to really be drawing to be honest.
15:33
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it looks like he's drawing even worse than I thought he would.
15:37
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's a bit unfortunate.
15:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's like, look, he's not a big name, even on the Indies, really.
15:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, um, an outsider champion.
15:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So I feel like that just doesn't really work in it.
15:51
[SPEAKER_02]: That's also the like unfortunate thing of like, well, he is Korean and they still Oh, they're actually given.
15:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is.
16:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I think okay.
16:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty sure let me double check that but like also given you know like given like you know some of the image Really used by baked Japan in the past.
16:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, he is oh, no, he's from Hokkaido.
16:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, it's from Hokkaido.
16:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he was whatever He's not okay.
16:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Never mind.
16:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Why could be?
16:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it could be that I need to, yeah, but that's the, like, I thought he was like Korean from Korea, and not like, but I, but maybe he's also just Japanese, I don't know.
16:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah, I just, yeah, it's too bad.
16:32
[SPEAKER_05]: And well, we'll get into it in a minute, but I only watched two matches off of the show because there wasn't really much else.
16:38
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm not going to watch that he has to vote on Hideo, she'd come a time.
16:41
[SPEAKER_05]: He was absolutely coping out, she'd
16:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And the only other good match on the only other or and also Joe Geotani was in the second batch But the only other good match on the undercard went three minutes at 15 seconds somehow They like cardy tomato Testerhiko Yoshino versus Koske Sato and Fumino and Abby only go three minutes.
17:02
[SPEAKER_05]: They know that could have been a good batch.
17:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well Yeah, yeah, no, I mean it's like it's baked a pan.
17:08
[SPEAKER_02]: It's that promotion like I mean I literally picked like going to grade over going to baked a bit
17:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
17:13
[SPEAKER_05]: And so we started with the top two matches, which the suddenly main event was for the number one contenders for the big Japan world strong title.
17:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Yasafumi Nakanoi defeated Kazuma through Yoshida and 16 of sat on with the dining.
17:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I will drop.
17:28
[SPEAKER_05]: This is a very solid match.
17:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I had going to be three and a half to three and three quarter stars.
17:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Nakanoi worked the leg.
17:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Yoshida had some good counters.
17:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Good solid wrestling did not have to work with the fighter, but it was needed
17:42
[SPEAKER_05]: everything like that, so Nakanoa is down the number one contenders, and then we go to the main event for the strong title.
17:49
[SPEAKER_05]: So Dimonji defeated UAO key in 1842 with the black rain to make us first defense of the title.
17:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Paul this was very good.
17:56
[SPEAKER_05]: I'd go and maybe the four star four and a quarter range.
18:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, you know, they kept up a really good pace always doing something very little down time and really strong, um, closing stretch in terms of both of them hitting their finishers on each other and with an incredible bump from Dimonji on the, uh,
18:25
[SPEAKER_05]: uh... demodgy finish them off with two black rains one from the front and then pulled them up and did it from the back which sort of like a running out boat in the back of that which of the head kind of like the hidden blade sort of but not like
18:37
[SPEAKER_05]: but more like pointed with the albo so that was really good and it was a very good first defense and really worth checking out if you like big Japan or willing to dive into it for a bit and see what the high.
18:52
[SPEAKER_05]: This demonji is all about if you haven't seen it before because like look he works lands and big Japan in great.
18:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So now I'm seeing him you know.
19:02
[SPEAKER_05]: And on the 21st, that's before you're going to be in Japan, right?
19:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yeah, I'm landing at the end of the month.
19:11
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
19:11
[SPEAKER_05]: So he's defending.
19:13
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, Nakanoi is challenging on December 21st.
19:18
[SPEAKER_05]: And look, you know, the big Japan's booking is chaotic and non-sensical even more so than many other companies that we complain for that to happen.
19:26
[SPEAKER_05]: So I would not be shocked that Nakanoi
19:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, be some especially after this and he gets one and you know that body got his one defense against one of their top guys So there's no one really with the left of the fun to get He beat Hashimoto for the title.
19:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, no mora is out and also a freelancer, but also recovering and then second bottle Yeah, like and it's also a freelancer, but also still in big-to-band.
19:52
[SPEAKER_05]: So the only other credible challenger is Comitani
19:56
[SPEAKER_05]: but whatever.
19:57
[SPEAKER_02]: So, but I think that I think that not a noise, but then like Nakanoi immediately runs into that problem as well, though.
20:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, this is weaker than all of these challenges.
20:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, very much so, very easily.
20:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, like, this is weaker than like all dependents during the bleak experience, really.
20:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
20:18
[SPEAKER_05]: Look, I think Yoshida is a bit of a
20:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Big Japan, I think he's solid, like, but you can't really run.
20:30
[SPEAKER_05]: So I bought you versus Kazugawa, so you've sheet as the made of edict cork and either.
20:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, a okay drew like 400 people.
20:39
[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't really see any evidence that Nakanoi is going to do better maybe because he's been around longer, but I just feel like I don't obviously follow the company closely enough to understand, but I just felt like a okay had become a guy in that company, especially given the way he won his title over Okobayashi and how long he had, how that title for his first run, right, but like I, you know, it doesn't seem to be that Nakanoi would be a bigger draw them him at, among the big Japan fans at this point, but you never know.
21:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I guess the play, I mean, I get they just had them loose.
21:10
[SPEAKER_02]: But I suppose the play would have been to just give it back to you.
21:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, right?
21:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, um, okay, I'll come a tani.
21:17
[SPEAKER_02]: That feels like, like, because it, like, it's not like a, okay, it was doing like gang bust this business.
21:22
[SPEAKER_02]: But it wasn't better than this.
21:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, um, that's the thing, right?
21:26
[SPEAKER_05]: They were still doing the five six hundred range of chords in.
21:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, which was good for the mid.
21:33
[SPEAKER_05]: I just feel like, um,
21:34
[SPEAKER_05]: and not gonna always wait in his late 30s if not already in his 40s.
21:38
[SPEAKER_05]: It just feels like yeah, thanks.
21:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
21:41
[SPEAKER_05]: It's well, hey, they should be working hard to get Yoshida ready.
21:45
[SPEAKER_05]: And okay, so he's gonna, he's 39.
21:48
[SPEAKER_05]: He's gonna be 49.
21:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So not super old, but yeah, it just should be about Aoki and trying to make Yoshida interesting.
22:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
22:03
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, we're not shopping if that happens on a lands-end show.
22:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because I just looked up because I was like, okay, what is like the triple crown reign with like the weirdest, like the weakest, like a record of like challengers.
22:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And the one I immediately jumped towards the like first Kento title reign, because that's not really a murderous rule of like challengers for that one.
22:27
[SPEAKER_02]: And guess who's one of the challengers, right?
22:29
[SPEAKER_05]: You did quite a lot.
22:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
22:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, no, he had second motto.
22:38
[SPEAKER_02]: yeah who else was uh okay so who are the weak ones on that one hit the bodyguard okay that was the step was his first defense was against the bodyguard i don't know so you know that was his last defense actually sorry yeah he had actually on that too yeah he had tack how a mory twice
22:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, wait, he had to warm up in there, like, that was a good one, but like, yeah, I don't know.
23:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I really sigh, it was not great, like, bodyguard is not a great one.
23:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, to cow or mory twice, it's not great.
23:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that, that, that, that reeks of desperation, like, you've run out of challenges, completely that you have to run out.
23:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, mory again, uh, yeah, I mean again, Akiyama.
23:19
[SPEAKER_02]: that that's a good one like can go at that time with a good one second motor at that time as well but like I don't know like like if I just look at it like give me a triple crown reign like there was like of like similar lengths that has like a weaker lineup of like challenges than that for Ken really think of one
23:38
[SPEAKER_02]: because it was over a year, I don't know what I just thought actually it's the savamarin and also went similarly long.
23:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Had less people, they had Fonaki, Tiokea, Kenzo, Yudinagata, that's a good one and say us another, especially Kenzo in there, in like Sumahal, it's like Jesus Christ.
24:03
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean they really thought he was going to be something when they brought him back.
24:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because that 8,000 is also absolutely a lie, that's the only thing that's true.
24:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that why that is true?
24:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think it's even files?
24:18
[SPEAKER_02]: I would have to go and look at it.
24:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember what it looked like at the time, but I think...
24:25
[SPEAKER_05]: Because if you did less than five, that's quite the why.
24:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh, yeah, if you lie up to, if you lie up more than three thousand people.
24:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but like absolutely zero percent chance, that's where it feels for people like no way.
24:38
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so that's a big Japan and I'm going to continue to ride this heavyweight, the strong division, right, and the last though, because I mean, this is good.
24:47
[SPEAKER_05]: And I think Dacanoi versus Damanji will be good too.
24:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Right, so yeah, there are some things happening in the company, even if the death match division is dire like oh it's I know a lot of people are doing a lot of doing a lot of doing a boat like Japanese wrestling in general, but like to me the one thing that is just
25:07
[SPEAKER_02]: basically done done.
25:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Like because I mean, I don't agree with a lot of the dooming on like Japanese wrestling in general.
25:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, but I think the one I'll ask back of Japanese wrestling that is legitimately going to die, it's definitely wrestling.
25:20
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
25:20
[SPEAKER_02]: There are no people coming up.
25:22
[SPEAKER_02]: If you look at it,
25:24
[SPEAKER_02]: All of the death match people are over 30.
25:26
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no there aren't zero young death match wrestlers.
25:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there was you Kishikawa, but he retired.
25:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he retired.
25:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
25:34
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I mean, I think he was still under 30 when he retired.
25:37
[SPEAKER_02]: But again, he's retired.
25:38
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
25:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, listen, this is the death batch on the show.
25:42
[SPEAKER_05]: So it was the fluorescent light tubes for barbed wire board death batch.
25:45
[SPEAKER_05]: You go Miyamoto, Masaya, Takahashi and Kazumi, Kazumi Kakuza, defeated Ryuji Edo, Kenkura, Hoshino and Takumi Sakurai, Nintendo 6 with a light tube assisted grasshopper kick from Kakuza on Sakurai.
26:01
[SPEAKER_05]: So that is your state of your
26:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Big Japan Death Lash Division right now, and that's like yeah, and like the youngest guy in that match, it's Sakurai at 36
26:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
26:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And I, because I kind of looked for it like who I like to people that are regularly doing death mattress.
26:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Tucker Yuki Ueki is like the youngest at 42, which I don't really pay much.
26:24
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's been doing, he's been doing it for like 10 years as well.
26:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I see things I always, I always overlook freedom.
26:31
[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know what to do.
26:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
26:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Like again, they have the same problem.
26:33
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no real like young guys that are doing death mattress there either.
26:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
26:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's just it's it's very dire like it's literate like it's it's just going to die out because nobody's going to be left That is like I mean to be fam in some of these people hold on until their 50s but then it becomes like well Like who's going to make room on their card for like a bunch of like 50 rolls to have a death match that nobody wants to see anymore Well, the regional Japan did it because it was own leader, but there's no need as
27:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no.
27:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, Ray, the E2 is not on the E2.
27:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, right?
27:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so like it's that that is the one that is the one that is the one dooming.
27:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I am allowing myself because I think I have like very good evidence that it is doomed to.
27:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, well, see, I know people are talking about like a big Japan like surviving thing in there with that, but I like I don't know what happens when you don't have a death match to the company.
27:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I guess it just becomes purely based on the strong division, I mean, look, we're all ready down to like one death matter on a caracontro.
27:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's already like a lot less than like they used to do like three death matches a show.
27:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, but going back like eight years or so.
27:48
[SPEAKER_02]: and now they're doing one, and the other thing is actually like Japan is going to old law, like the kind of light tubes that they use, so like what's even the point, like if you don't have light tubes anymore and you don't have any young wrestlers doing death matters anymore, what do you even have left at that point, right?
28:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Like what's the fucking point at that?
28:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Like you've basically just like you have no future and you've lost like
28:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Like obviously they have other things, but like I would argue the light tubes are like D signature thing of like Japanese staff matches, like once they're gone like, I don't know, like it just that just feels like the end of it.
28:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm gonna enjoy the strong division for it.
28:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, so we go over to pro wrestling Noah, they had a show on and I should say that,
28:43
[SPEAKER_05]: for the junior tournament, I didn't watch anything until this show.
28:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, there was a second round.
28:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there wasn't that much about it, really, to miss.
28:52
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there was the whole, like, like, Masaoka turning on an, um, an amaxa on one of the shows, I think that's really like the only, like, memorable thing to be quite honest from the second round.
29:05
[SPEAKER_02]: like there wasn't really like anything else like I'm trying to think of this anything it really impressed me it's like not really which like the whole Masaoka thing is also like well he was a heal last time but like last time he wasn't a were right like back in the spring
29:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and it did the whole like run with aspect and everything and the challenge for the titles and it Well, I can't like because I remember this very clearly because I complained on our episodes reviewing that match I was like I don't need like two separate like cheating heel factions in the same promotion
29:41
[SPEAKER_02]: like that's unnecessary.
29:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And then he goes away and he's semi-turns face, I guess, only to then immediately turn heal again when he comes like, very weird.
29:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't know why he didn't, well, I guess they wanted to have the turn on a max and there, but like, I don't know.
29:56
[SPEAKER_02]: It was just kind of a weird thing, but like, at least now they've consolidated the heal thing like into
30:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, so uh, there's not Sunday, some parts, and they drew 832 fans out here.
30:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Not good.
30:14
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
30:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Although again, Sendai is a town.
30:17
[SPEAKER_02]: They always do bad and, but I don't know.
30:20
[SPEAKER_02]: I think at this point, I feel confident in saying that Kai Tu just isn't the level of draw.
30:26
[SPEAKER_02]: That you need to be to be nice.
30:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Great wrestler, but just, you know, you just isn't that that level.
30:32
[SPEAKER_02]: And you think that's, yeah, that's over.
30:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Did he have to be regained?
30:36
[SPEAKER_02]: He's still young.
30:37
[SPEAKER_02]: He never had anything to regain.
30:39
[SPEAKER_02]: He never had that drawing ability.
30:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Right?
30:42
[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know, I just don't think that...
30:48
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, again, for some people, it takes a bit longer.
30:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, go talk a while for him to become a drone.
30:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I can dream, I talk for him a while to become a drone.
30:55
[SPEAKER_02]: It may be kind of kind of kind of research as well,
31:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's ten years away for Kaito, so yeah and I don't know where he goes from here.
31:11
[SPEAKER_02]: I honestly I think he should turn here, I think he should do a double turn with other one Kaito and kind of feels like that what a teasing as well.
31:19
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, whatever they've been doing with this whole like all Rebellion or whatever like that.
31:24
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just not working and He just needs what is in all your value now.
31:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Cano gone.
31:30
[SPEAKER_05]: Galen.
31:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
31:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's Kai Fujimura and Haruto.
31:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and that's that's a that's a bad faction They are okay, but the thing is they are you know, they're gonna do this if they do turn kind of it's gonna be the stupidest way
31:45
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know like do you like all you really need to do is like I don't know like Osawa wins on January 1st and then Kaito comes out and then team 2,000 ex turns on Osawa but that's all you really need to do.
32:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean you don't even need to do a January 1st like you just need to do it like at some like because I mean that's not not to get ahead of ourselves but like I mean Osawa is winning on January 1st right like there's no point in like keeping
32:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, my gas.
32:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I got a big skull.
32:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I got a big skull.
32:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I got a big skull on, like, getting kind of.
32:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I know everyone is down on in and more because of the gimmick, but I'm enjoying his matches.
32:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know the matches are great, it's just like, I don't know, as I was clearly how to sketch the promotion is, has become like clearly a lot colder since he got in.
32:35
[SPEAKER_05]: How many is still built around him even the resinger?
32:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
32:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Literally kept him around, and he was basically still on every show that's quite being injured, which to me just helps me, they're just going to put the belt back on him.
32:48
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
32:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
32:49
[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll start with Daga, Daki Otashima Ninja Mac.
32:52
[SPEAKER_05]: I will have on a Matsuka, defeating 8x Shudikado YouTube Kukuchi, Jun, Jutmasa, oka, and black butts array.
32:59
[SPEAKER_05]: What's the random selection on each side?
33:01
[SPEAKER_05]: It's important to you with the Ninja bomb on Matsuray.
33:04
[SPEAKER_05]: So just your state of junior opener where everyone does their spots, solid enough.
33:09
[SPEAKER_05]: It's semi-final for the no junior ground pre.
33:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Kai Fujimori defeated a high added 838 with the Golazo, and Paul, this is a nice solid, quick, high added match in the biggest win of Fujimori's career.
33:19
[SPEAKER_05]: So I give it a thumbs up.
33:21
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, same.
33:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Like you kept the chart, like you put over for tomorrow.
33:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, high added was still clearly like,
33:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Defeated and everything and that's how they worked a match as well, but like I think yeah like Fujimura did like the Underdog role really, really well and again, the shorter higher-to-matches are the better and I think this again was like one of those evidences where it was really no time for him to run out of steam because the match ended before that.
33:46
[SPEAKER_05]: There was no time for him to do the match before that.
33:49
[SPEAKER_05]: It's a great way.
33:54
[SPEAKER_05]: So we go to the next match
33:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, for the other, um, semi-final.
33:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, we have Chromo Takahashi defeating, uh, Tata-Skeying 10-11 with the, uh, Chromo role.
34:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, would you think?
34:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Because I have my thoughts of this match.
34:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, could have been, first?
34:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I would say.
34:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Because the thing with Tadasuke matches now is that they're just filled with bullshit.
34:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
34:19
[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, I guess you're almost used to it wrestling and like new Japan and like regularly, like wrestling, like, you know, like this felt very much like hero mode and you should know about kind of our own matcha knot and new Japan is what doesn't felt like part of heart take.
34:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
34:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Tadasuke should have won this.
34:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
34:39
[SPEAKER_02]: What, he didn't like the final?
34:40
[SPEAKER_05]: No, but I'll talk about the book again a second.
34:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
34:44
[SPEAKER_05]: But we'll only, when we get to it.
34:45
[SPEAKER_05]: So the next up, Cantat, Ocasasaki, Tetsuya, Endo, defeated Manibusoya, Saxa, Huxa, and Kazuki, Fujita, and 534, with the inside cradle from Canton, Huxa, which was just there.
34:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And it was only five and a half minutes.
35:00
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't even know if everybody tagged it into the club.
35:03
[SPEAKER_05]: The Haroki return match in 25th anniversary
35:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Now, Mitchie Marifugi, Kenow, Jack Morrison, June to be a walkie, feet in Mohamed, Yona, that's who she could tell, okay, Haroki and Hajimeo Haran, 1025 with this year and we, from Marifugi on Haroki, because when I think of Haroki, it's a career, I think of Jack Moore.
35:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, of course, I think it was a fine solid little six man and you know or a man for But nothing much to it, and then the G.C.
35:34
[SPEAKER_05]: tag team Thomas Mosser kidding me into Kashi Sugara defeated tank and tank in the 1129 when kidding me a pinned tank after Sugara hit the Olympic slam and
35:46
[SPEAKER_05]: to win the title's back and become a 74th G8 champions.
35:51
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, Paul.
35:52
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it was a little better than I there first back.
35:54
[SPEAKER_02]: It's still bad though.
35:56
[SPEAKER_02]: And like the other thing is like Hank and tank to start on over.
36:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's one thing like right like the fingered with almost at the beginning of the year.
36:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I was all like we're booking and all of that.
36:06
[SPEAKER_02]: But at least almost was over.
36:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Hank and Hank fucking are just like doing like, like, tag team spots to like gain sympathy to like absolute silence.
36:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And like massacre to me and to Kashli Segura working like half beat.
36:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Because they worked down to like the level of their opponents just this was such a waste of everybody's time I I don't know why why this was even the thing I don't know yeah I I don't know why why this was done like they literally like just had them for a cup of coffee I guess they can now go back to like the US and say like oh we were like champions in Japan or whatever but like
36:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, like, I don't think they like, WE or the audience gives us a shit about that.
36:52
[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, no, waste of everybody's time, and I hope these guys don't come back, cause they are not, they are just bad.
37:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I, whatever.
37:04
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't get worked to work up about it as all I can say, but there will be more NXT town come.
37:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, I know, but like, at least give me like somebody that has like, you know, potential to become better and not like these guitar sounds.
37:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Harlem Louis, was it?
37:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, Harlem Louis, I think was better way better than them.
37:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh yeah, like I mean, he was pretty mediocre as well, but like, at least there was like some rawness there where he could be like, oh, maybe he could become better, but like these two are just like these two are like fucking w every like cookie cutter and that car like fodder for like the next 10 years and one of them and until until they like one of them gets released
37:46
[SPEAKER_05]: And then for the Noah Junior Grand Prix Final for Romo Takahashi, this was a very good match.
37:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Second best match of the show I thought.
37:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And exactly what it needed to be in terms of this match structure for Fujimura.
38:03
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, he got his near falls and he got his big kickouts, but ultimately, you know, her own what did have to put him away with a time bomb too.
38:10
[SPEAKER_05]: So he, so Fujmoor was looked made to look, made to look strong in defeat and her own one.
38:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And then he got on the mic and sort of challenge of Moscow for January 1st.
38:19
[SPEAKER_05]: But Paul,
38:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know why to put a heromal over in this tournament.
38:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, no.
38:24
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm excited.
38:25
[SPEAKER_05]: And so look, you have Tattiske, you know, cheat to win, even though I'm not the biggest fan of that.
38:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So you have Fujimura and Tattiske defenses you could do before January 1st.
38:40
[SPEAKER_05]: I know that's not a lot of time, but whatever.
38:43
[SPEAKER_05]: And then you could have, you know, before you get to Amazka, but this just feels like horror was not just buried almost all the due division.
38:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, no, that was my problem with the booking as well.
38:54
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, you haven't done like a junior singles tournament and like, what, four or five years?
39:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I was the last one, I don't remember.
39:03
[SPEAKER_02]: What's your judgment like your tag tournament?
39:04
[SPEAKER_02]: But it was junior tag tournament, but I meant like singles tournament, right?
39:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that has been like a couple of years until the last time they've done one of those.
39:12
[SPEAKER_02]: and like you bring and it like this just felt like you just brought it back to give it to a aroma, right?
39:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Like like if they do it again next year, I'm not gonna judge them as harsh but as of right now, like this just to me feels like they don't actually have a plan to make this regular thing, they just did it this year to like give it to a aroma.
39:32
[SPEAKER_02]: to give them another accolade for some reason.
39:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Which I don't think he really needs.
39:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And then he just gets to pick his own challenge which I think is also something I never really like either because it just, and it makes the challenge look weak.
39:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And I would have preferred if you had like, I don't know, like Kai Fujimura like Windows.
39:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, you don't even need to do a Tadaskater fence.
39:53
[SPEAKER_02]: You can just do like a Maxa, Liggenwa, you can just do Kai Fujimura, right?
39:58
[SPEAKER_02]: and then like on the another card like Tarasuke and like Amaxa have like a one number one content this match and then you do it that way.
40:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that also works.
40:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
40:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
40:08
[SPEAKER_05]: And you don't start a parole, we'll just pin them later in a tag or something.
40:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that too.
40:12
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's just, yeah, like this was a weird way of doing it.
40:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, it's like to get again, like no kind of just takes December off.
40:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Like if you looked like like this nothing in December, like fuck off.
40:25
[SPEAKER_05]: There's like, there's a bit in December, but not like title matches.
40:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, second, um, but then in the main event for the G.C.
40:34
[SPEAKER_05]: Heavyweight Championship, Yoshiki and Amara defeated Kato Kimi in 1636 with the discharged two words, um, I love this, and it was so funny that it's only 1636 and they've dialed back the length of these matches for in Amara, but it's working, and I thought this was great because
40:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Inamura came across as very dominant, but this was not like an overwhelming squash by any means, but it just felt like at the key moments that Inamura always had counters and like used his strength to beat off to you, me or whatever he was getting.
41:09
[SPEAKER_05]: that Kumi was starting to get some momentum.
41:11
[SPEAKER_05]: That's not to say that Kumi didn't get some near falls with some like shining lancers and whatnot.
41:15
[SPEAKER_05]: But I just thought I really liked the way this match was constructed.
41:18
[SPEAKER_05]: My biggest complaint is the Osawa walkout in the distraction.
41:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Even though the match went off for like five more minutes after the distraction it didn't really matter.
41:25
[SPEAKER_05]: I still think it was just goofy and it's just like, I don't know.
41:29
[SPEAKER_05]: It's W.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R.E.R
41:33
[SPEAKER_05]: But other than that I did really enjoy it and I know everyone is down on the character, but I don't care I just really enjoying it if we're on the edge of this category.
41:41
[SPEAKER_05]: What can I say?
41:42
[SPEAKER_02]: No, and I mean to me, it's like well the character doesn't really distract from the mattress which I think is the most important thing right like it would be he's still matches us to a great like It's always carried through that it's a strategy for the back
41:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, to be fair, he was also like, I would somewhat put it in a mirror because like he also did that in reverse in the candle.
42:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Like when he came back.
42:06
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
42:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
42:07
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
42:09
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's definitely something that I don't know if he's the one that inspired them to do that again.
42:17
[SPEAKER_02]: But still, it doesn't take away from the matter.
42:20
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the main thing.
42:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I really, really hated the WWE shit, like that's why it couldn't really go like four stars on this.
42:28
[SPEAKER_02]: But otherwise, yeah, I also thought this was a great match.
42:30
[SPEAKER_02]: You kept the chart as well, like you gave him a strong win.
42:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, because in a more, I was pretty dominant as well, throughout the match.
42:37
[SPEAKER_02]: So like it was a pretty strong dominant when kind of got a little bit of offense, but like it was mostly in a moron, in a moron like relatively quickly.
42:45
[SPEAKER_02]: So you gave him a big strong win, like a big strong defense that makes him look incredible.
42:51
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, that makes me believe even more than like, as I was going to beat him like January 1st because like he was put over so strongly here that like it felt like this win was like enough to like solidify him as like a main event
43:05
[SPEAKER_05]: But after this match, I'm definitely on that they should do the double turn.
43:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And just some other notes on the show.
43:12
[SPEAKER_05]: So obviously, you're on December, I mean, on January 1st, it's obviously going to be Oslo versus Inamura, and it's going to be Haromu versus Amasca.
43:20
[SPEAKER_05]: And also, after the Kanta Challenge to Garra for a singles match on December 23rd, that's basically the 25th anniversary match for Noah.
43:29
[SPEAKER_05]: And also his, it's a girl's 25th anniversary as well.
43:33
[SPEAKER_05]: because Segera debuted in December of 2000.
43:37
[SPEAKER_05]: I believe that Ariaki called Seam.
43:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because I actually just watched that match.
43:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, really, okay.
43:45
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
43:46
[SPEAKER_05]: It's on the thing.
43:48
[SPEAKER_05]: That's a, that's a Kobashi-Brasaki Amashou, right?
43:51
[SPEAKER_05]: And then Vader Lucie's Missawa.
43:53
[SPEAKER_05]: I think I was just interested in that.
43:57
[SPEAKER_05]: And the infamous Shinya Hashimoto versus Takau Mori.
44:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, that is on there yeah, no I actually have finished it.
44:06
[SPEAKER_02]: I actually just like started to like watch the
44:10
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the first big Noah show, right?
44:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Because they did the, they didn't back the back and did for Ariaki.
44:18
[SPEAKER_05]: This is their first big arena show in the company history.
44:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Although they returned to just corrican to do that.
44:24
[SPEAKER_05]: 25 years later.
44:27
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, can't really go to the Ariaki because Coliseum anymore.
44:32
[SPEAKER_02]: So they have something else there.
44:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Is there a new Ariaki or,
44:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's see.
44:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, yeah, let's see what's the call again.
44:39
[SPEAKER_02]: The one that they ran January 2nd in 2020 or it's the Ariaki arena.
44:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, okay.
44:46
[SPEAKER_05]: So just coming up a couple of notes for Noah on November 29th.
44:51
[SPEAKER_05]: There's a team Noah judgment show, which I assume is the limit break continuation.
44:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, which is weird to do without go because he was about those shows.
45:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's also weird to keep like team though, or life without go, it's just like, why?
45:07
[SPEAKER_05]: And listen to this card.
45:11
[SPEAKER_05]: We got because it basically, you could tell that this isn't basically a continuation of a little bit break without go because of some of the stupidity on the end of the time.
45:18
[SPEAKER_05]: I'll show you.
45:19
[SPEAKER_05]: How do you make a Harvard's deco to Schema?
45:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Through the way back, that's what you could tell Gabe, where's the Mackey,
45:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Haroki and Raioma Sukamoto versus Sukutaka Sato and Raiohushino.
45:32
[SPEAKER_05]: So Sukamoto getting a look from Noah.
45:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Interesting.
45:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Mahabh Yone, Gamarazu, who's a guy to demon mask, I don't know who that is.
45:42
[SPEAKER_05]: And Kohei Kinoshita versus the leave mask, the leave mask Kai and the leave mask X.
45:50
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's kind of a such dark shit.
45:53
[SPEAKER_05]: And then what I assume is going to be the main event is Mahabh Yone,
45:57
[SPEAKER_05]: Hajimeo Haran, Haroki.
45:58
[SPEAKER_05]: So you got a bunch of guys doing government for Gita.
46:02
[SPEAKER_05]: She would hate to hit a Gucci, Harutoki, and you don't cook Gucci.
46:05
[SPEAKER_05]: And Paul, I think it's time to put team Noah to bed.
46:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no.
46:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And then smother it with a pillow.
46:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh, yeah, no, like there's no point anymore.
46:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I, when they formed, I was like, what is this, and then I actually like enjoyed them because everybody there looked hard, but like now we've go on like, it's even the point, like it's like, why do we need a faction made up of Mohammed Yona, a Sushi Katoge, Huroki, and Hajimeo Harah, that's just like, like, I guess literally what heavyweight in the entire, like, like, faction now.
46:37
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
46:37
[SPEAKER_02]: What are you doing here?
46:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Like no, that's it's no point anymore.
46:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Put them out of the misery and just end this like it's no point keeping this going without go like it made sense as this whole like oh go kind of have like his own thing over here because it's unhappy with like the way we've been doing things but like he's gone now.
46:54
[SPEAKER_05]: So like just make a normal choice and then on December 7th at Cork and Hall, we've got the Kato Kimi intent anniversary mad decade.
47:04
[SPEAKER_05]: and he's working triple duty here.
47:06
[SPEAKER_05]: So we've got Kato Kimi versus Hitoshi Kumano coming out of retirement or maybe, and then we've got two day view matches, we've got deco to Schema versus
47:17
[SPEAKER_05]: Koenagi Hayado, and then we'll talk about the second.
47:38
[SPEAKER_05]: So we've got Kylo Kimia.
47:41
[SPEAKER_05]: Howard Toki, Alejandro Kai Fujimura versus Junta Miyawaki, Jack Morris, Neo Michimara Fuji, and Andy Wu.
47:51
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to get tass on commentary.
47:54
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's the, and then of course, the main event, the Iron Man match between Kai Toki and me and Keno.
47:59
[SPEAKER_05]: And then on the third, is the only match announced is sugar and cork and is sugar versus Kenta, which honestly,
48:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm looking forward to it.
48:09
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, my draw just based off of that.
48:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
48:12
[SPEAKER_05]: So Gary, 20th, like.
48:13
[SPEAKER_05]: We're so eager.
48:13
[SPEAKER_02]: And I expected you to.
48:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
48:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully, I mean, if the pens if we just get like, Takashi, Seguro, or if we get like a team 2,000 X match.
48:23
[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I feel like that's too, I don't know where they do that.
48:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I can never know.
48:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but I feel like he plays 25th University match straight.
48:31
[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah.
48:32
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, ideally, you are, but I don't know.
48:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, so let's talk about the three Noah Rookies that everyone has circled in, obviously, how did the future of this company, one way or another.
48:44
[SPEAKER_05]: So we started off with, sorry, I got the machine translation wrong.
48:49
[SPEAKER_05]: It's Yuto Koenagi, and he is 173 centimeters in 81 kilograms, so he's a junior.
48:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, even the Noah.
48:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's borderline, but yes, because he's not that much smaller than like Nakajima, but yeah, I think he's going to be
49:03
[SPEAKER_05]: He played a baseball and Greco-Roman wrestling, but he was a teacher apparently.
49:09
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean he is a bit older than the others Yeah, he's he's born in 2000 so he's gonna be he's 25 and he'll be 26 March 2026 But whatever, it's still I mean that that's so like I mean again We just talked about the cashiest figure of the starter when he was 30 so yeah, and then we got Midori Taka Hashi He's 182 centimeters in any two kilograms, so he's gonna be a have you eight?
49:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Yep
49:31
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, he is a long time, uh, rustling fantasy with 13, he's born in 2006.
49:38
[SPEAKER_05]: So he's only 19.
49:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, he did fail the, uh, he tried to, when Kennell did in 2023.
49:48
[SPEAKER_05]: How the auditions he failed, but Kennell was, um, kept his eye, kept telling him.
49:53
[SPEAKER_05]: So this is, it took him three tries to get accepted to know a dojo.
49:58
[SPEAKER_05]: He has a soccer background probably has good cardio done.
50:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but the one that obviously has everyone's attention is her road of Surrey at 186 centimeters 88 kilograms, we just find, you'll fill out.
50:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And his father is a UFC fighter.
50:14
[SPEAKER_05]: And his older brother is a UFC fighter.
50:17
[SPEAKER_05]: And his father was an MMA and his older brother is in UFC.
50:21
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's, you know, that's also the potential to bring that guy and later.
50:26
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
50:26
[SPEAKER_05]: And he is only 19 as well.
50:31
[SPEAKER_05]: He just turned 19 because his birthday is on November 12th.
50:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh wow, yeah, I mean these guys like these two are like especially like Super Young.
50:37
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, two young heavy weights like this, that's your future.
50:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, his brother just had his first loss.
50:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
50:45
[SPEAKER_02]: So we know so much longer that career can go.
50:48
[SPEAKER_02]: He can also go and come into the dojo.
50:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh no, I he's not but he no actually is his brother's a dude if this guy so this guy got all of the tall jeans his brother is actually his brother is a junior it's probably 170 cent of each bits and 50 cent
51:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, what's that?
51:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Look, I would say that this is bright for Noah and it's fascinating that Noah is actually starting to have a After a long time it's having an age Yeah, oh, yeah, I know like that promotion is like a lot longer.
51:21
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know like I'm actually like if we fact that the free in I actually would like to like recalculate like what like the average age of the Noah roster is because it used to be like absurdly high for a while No back even two years
51:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like that was like I think at that time the average age was like nearly 40.
51:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
51:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Because he just had like so many old people falling up the roster.
51:40
[SPEAKER_02]: But like now, I think we're like, it's probably more like in like the low 30s probably.
51:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
51:46
[SPEAKER_05]: So Paul, we've got three matches announced for January 1st, obviously, and also Dragon Bane and Alcohol Wolf plus the Senior Turtle and the Heavyweight title.
51:54
[SPEAKER_05]: This is Brutacide.
51:55
[SPEAKER_05]: And look, Osawa, obviously, as I said,
52:01
[SPEAKER_05]: And in Amura, well, he bombed in Sendai, but he or can, what's going to be the extra spice or the double main event in this match are the show.
52:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's going to be some sort of hack involving tough, tough, tough, tough.
52:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you think that's actually going to happen?
52:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think they're going to do a tag match here.
52:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder what the problem is with that, that means that we just have to throw the show out completely in terms of like estimating drawing records, because that's obviously going to be what draws people.
52:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
52:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be interested to see if they're on the same team or they're on opposing sides.
52:33
[SPEAKER_02]: opposing sides like I don't think there's a point in doing this like them like days like it's not like they're like have like a record of like being a team and like for example like Kaito has no match on the show so you could do like Kaito and Tanahashi versus like Nakamura and like I don't know
52:50
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that's why next question is someone more I think it's going to be like knock a mora and Okay, yeah, that's what I was wanting hours that they could have said another WWE guy with him.
53:00
[SPEAKER_05]: I hope not unless it's like a Josh Briggs
53:06
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
53:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Can't, more food that's good guys.
53:32
[SPEAKER_05]: So five, and then... Because six, I don't know, you know?
53:37
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you could, yeah, I mean, you could do like Alka, Marifuji, and... Nakamura, Nakamura, or Alka?
53:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, Alka can't, Nakamura makes sense, and then you have Marifuji, Kaito, and Tanahashi.
53:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
53:50
[SPEAKER_02]: That's something you could do, yeah.
53:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Because again, it doesn't really matter what the match even really is.
53:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's long as you just have Nakamura and Tanahashi on like opposite sides.
54:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's all you really need.
54:05
[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's very clearly what people want unless you're like, you know, a specific American wrestling promoter in which case you don't want that much.
54:12
[SPEAKER_05]: Or what about the chance of like kind of hot shoe knock them over to hang a tank?
54:19
[SPEAKER_05]: No.
54:20
[SPEAKER_05]: No.
54:21
[SPEAKER_05]: Zero.
54:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I just do that to troll.
54:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, but.
54:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I like, no, no, absolutely not.
54:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I already have my tickets for the show, but if that's half of the, like, I'm just, I don't know.
54:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be, I'm going to be somewhere else rather than match the same for me.
54:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
54:37
[SPEAKER_05]: So it's time to go move on to Al-Japan, which we talked about before.
54:41
[SPEAKER_05]: And obviously some of the results here you can throw out because It was some countouts possible.
54:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
54:50
[SPEAKER_05]: That's going to happen, but we didn't have any countouts or decues on these shows.
54:53
[SPEAKER_05]: So on November 16th at Corkin Hall, we did 1,327 fans and Paul.
54:58
[SPEAKER_05]: I thought that was a good opening number for terminates started on like a Wednesday or a Tuesday.
55:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Especially given how Albuquerque has been doing lately and honest.
55:09
[SPEAKER_02]: And tournament, like tournament, like that's the other weird thing.
55:12
[SPEAKER_02]: If you just look like throughout like at least like with the recent history, I know for sure.
55:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I actually would have to look into it like prior to that.
55:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, there's a tournament right for that.
55:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Open the last year.
55:24
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
55:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's okay.
55:25
[SPEAKER_02]: So like, but like generally like the tournament opens, I always draw like shit.
55:29
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what like it's actually good that they drew kind of solidity.
55:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
55:32
[SPEAKER_02]: If you look at it like the champion carnival open, I say always, everybody always starts to do them about all the parents like, my god, they drew so badly for like the champion carnival open.
55:42
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they always do.
55:43
[SPEAKER_02]: They always draw badly for the champion carnival open.
55:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, look, this is something nobody wants to watch that.
55:48
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, Paul, first of all, also this is the only tag team champion tournament in Japan with any percent.
55:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, that is true.
55:55
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, they have, they have carried the torch.
55:58
[SPEAKER_05]: Even the tag leaves back in the day when it was like a G1 tag lead.
56:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Obviously not as big as the G1, but it still had more prestige than what has been the last, like, decade of a
56:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh, yeah, I know.
56:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Like nobody takes a real little tag like off.
56:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly.
56:16
[SPEAKER_05]: So to start, well, we had the opening ceremony, of course, which always great, I love that.
56:22
[SPEAKER_05]: And with, and very smart booking here, because they just had to believe into the first match because they started fighting.
56:28
[SPEAKER_05]: And it was Zion and Odyssey defeating Takashi and Koshio, Tokyo, Japan, is 55 with a diving headbutt from Zion and Koshio.
56:36
[SPEAKER_05]: And Paul, that was just a perfect booking
56:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like you really want to keep this short.
56:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Like you don't you don't want to give them any time really.
56:46
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and then we want to block a ghost shows up in Shotira Shino versus total more a cumbersome 1046 with the strong arm, Larry.
56:53
[SPEAKER_05]: from shoesaki on a mory.
56:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just perfectly solid.
56:56
[SPEAKER_05]: If anything, I thought maybe a little underwhelming because I thought that would have meshed while a little better, but it was fine.
57:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I mean, it kind of said the tone a bit for like the rest of the tone.
57:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, rest of the tone.
57:07
[SPEAKER_02]: I've only had two shows so far, but yeah, no.
57:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Like this is kind of the like ceiling so far unfortunately.
57:14
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
57:15
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I thought this first show was actually pretty good or better than I thought.
57:18
[SPEAKER_05]: I was going to, um, and then just June said, and we saw she in second year, she opened a food in downtown Rio in a way and showed a confusing 826.
57:25
[SPEAKER_05]: When, um, June, pinned, uh, Sito, or, June, Sito pinned in a way with the cycle break.
57:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, might as a mothful, uh, which is a little surprising because cofuges right there.
57:36
[SPEAKER_05]: It was just short, little match fine.
57:38
[SPEAKER_05]: It was fine.
57:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Then Rennai Abe and Talos defeated Hadecki Suzuki and Kengo Machino Machimo in 1259 with death roulette from Abe on Suzuki.
57:48
[SPEAKER_05]: So Hadecki continues to be a good company man.
57:50
[SPEAKER_05]: I would say this was the third best match of the show.
57:55
[SPEAKER_05]: I thought I was like, Synaq, you're going to try it here and he tried a bit, which I think helped this match.
58:00
[SPEAKER_05]: Because you don't want to.
58:01
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
58:02
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he, right?
58:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, no, he likes the foreigner.
58:06
[SPEAKER_02]: If he is not the one that brings them in.
58:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
58:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
58:10
[SPEAKER_05]: And this was good.
58:12
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, you know, like, yeah, it was good.
58:15
[SPEAKER_05]: And towels just gets it just as a presence, right?
58:19
[SPEAKER_05]: Like, compared to like, towel, like, look, obviously like someone like
58:24
[SPEAKER_05]: almost it's like taller than Talos but quite a bit actually like massive but like Talos understands how to play giant yeah oh yeah I know he's really like figuring it out anything he's gotten some Japanese phrases in there too right yeah he's really working hard to get over and I yeah I can really have to applaud that right
58:43
[SPEAKER_02]: I have a common spell for this like backstage promo like on the second show.
58:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
58:50
[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't watch that actually, but okay.
58:52
[SPEAKER_05]: So the promos, the real world tagly block B, catch on me a high and give you a more smooth defeat of rugby, Honda, and the area I know more in 1439 with the shut down suplex from your heart on Honda and Paul, I think this might have been my third match in Chicago.
59:07
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean it was better than I thought it was going to be.
59:10
[SPEAKER_02]: But then again, I mean it's really only Davey Boy that is dragging it down.
59:13
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but David Boyd just came in here and did big power moves and that's fine.
59:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and I thought it was really good.
59:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to be, and, you know, probably like, what?
59:24
[SPEAKER_05]: This guy is one of the five best David Boyd's with matches.
59:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, this year for sure, yeah.
59:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
59:33
[SPEAKER_05]: So that was good and like look, I don't I don't really have that big of a problem with the debut boy and Kento team because Kento can get the heat day Waking just coming there and do big power moves so it works on that level.
59:44
[SPEAKER_05]: Would I be more concerned if they were going to do a 25 minute final about debut boy bringing it down But for like hopefully they aren't Yes, hopefully they're not
59:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, someone's got a pin kind of a set of a match at the end of the month or end of December.
59:58
[SPEAKER_05]: And then the main event at Ski Aoyagi and rising harder defeated Uma Aoyagi, Uma Anzai 2603 with the firebird splash from Ski on Uma Aoyagi for the big upset.
1:00:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, this was very good.
1:00:10
[SPEAKER_05]: I just thought it dragged in the middle for a 26-minute match, but the crowd was into this and I would still probably put it the second best back to the show.
1:00:19
[SPEAKER_05]: And obviously the result was a huge win.
1:00:22
[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think you're not getting standard takes away from this big moment?
1:00:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I a little bit because right it was like I assumed this was dip the humus weren't going to lose that money mattress from the tournament.
1:00:35
[SPEAKER_05]: Also, the Ayuriyaki and Hayado might have more points than they wanted them to now.
1:00:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:00:42
[SPEAKER_02]: So, like, but now, like, the view method is going to, like, be on the record with zero points.
1:00:47
[SPEAKER_02]: So, like, this is going to stand out less.
1:00:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:00:51
[SPEAKER_02]: It does take away from it a little bit, but I also felt like the result was a little bit obvious as well, at least in the lead-up to it, because you are literally said, like, oh, yeah, it's like, I win the match, then like, I'm going to kick at ski out of the family.
1:01:06
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, yeah, okay, like you're mad at that, that's great that you want to add a few more stakes, but like that makes it really obvious you're going to get fined by your brother.
1:01:15
[SPEAKER_02]: the, which is what happened, but yeah, I still like to match overall.
1:01:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's just now with like a little bit of hindsight, I, it's a little less impressive.
1:01:27
[SPEAKER_05]: I want to say, given that what has happened though.
1:01:30
[SPEAKER_05]: If I don't know how many points had always had pencils in for asking in Hyattle, but it might only be two points now, because everybody else has two extra points.
1:01:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:01:41
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, everybody else has two extra points.
1:01:42
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, actually, honestly, like, doesn't really change the booking, right?
1:01:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Because these two were going to have these two points anyway.
1:01:49
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but that's unchanged.
1:01:51
[SPEAKER_05]: The humans were going to beat a lot of people I assume.
1:01:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:01:55
[SPEAKER_05]: So they all have two, all the teams that they were going to beat now have two.
1:02:00
[SPEAKER_02]: but like how many more were like at ski and like because like these two weren't gonna like make it to the final anyway.
1:02:07
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's a good point.
1:02:09
[SPEAKER_05]: But so that was a first show, which I thought was a good, yeah, opener, all things considered.
1:02:14
[SPEAKER_05]: So now we go to the real world tag league at Kira, I'm going to say new Mazu.
1:02:18
[SPEAKER_05]: And I believe that humans accident occurred in new Mazu.
1:02:21
[SPEAKER_02]: That had to have been after the show done.
1:02:23
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:02:24
[SPEAKER_05]: So I did not watch the non-turnerym matches of which there was only one.
1:02:29
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, this is something about this car got run because the bus was late.
1:02:32
[SPEAKER_05]: Has it true, I think?
1:02:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Or attract the fuck, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may, you may
1:03:01
[SPEAKER_02]: very happy with it as well.
1:03:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I think Kufuji is like showing good progress as well.
1:03:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Like he did to hold a young guy that is standing up.
1:03:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, veterans probably the wrong word here, but like he's like
1:03:17
[SPEAKER_02]: young guy that is like standing up to like the established wrestler and everything and an age shed for it as well.
1:03:23
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I think I mean at this point like the chances of him coming out in a track suit, January in January have to be like close to a hundred, right?
1:03:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's pretty close.
1:03:36
[SPEAKER_05]: Like because like he there is and there's an he's in multi-man's where he doesn't even take the fall and they're giving him singles matches against the regular roster
1:03:45
[SPEAKER_05]: And he's on every show.
1:03:47
[SPEAKER_05]: He's on every show, yeah.
1:03:49
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think he's officially said he's gone.
1:03:50
[SPEAKER_05]: He's left to sort the style.
1:03:53
[SPEAKER_05]: But I, yeah, that's what that's.
1:03:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I was sorry, no, because yeah, I know, because it's like the, yes, because it's just my, I know that, not the name of the promotion, but it's just that's just under forefront of my mind, every single time I hear that abbreviation was like, oh, yeah, right, that isn't actually.
1:04:11
[SPEAKER_05]: So, and then the other under current mattress, June, Setto, Ryukihonda, and Musashi, defeating Yuma Ayoyaki, Hadecki, Sizuki, and Rio, in a way when we use the Jackhammer on in a way.
1:04:22
[SPEAKER_05]: So, we go to the real well-tagly Renai Abay and Talos, if you'd hope for tomorrow morning, cover actually in 1542 with the double jokes, choke slam.
1:04:30
[SPEAKER_05]: It's Pino-Marie, I have a Pino-Marie, uh, it's fun a little too long, and I thought maybe they kind of did something with this, but I don't know.
1:04:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but went a little bit too long, but what I liked about it like in the post match promos right like talos was like Because he was like right because he used to be a member of Hawke to gun and he basically was debasively Yeah, he told like I did see it Yeah, exactly.
1:04:57
[SPEAKER_02]: He was like I thought we were just gonna have a friendly mention if that's what we want to play This isn't over like okay.
1:05:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of like that, but he's like
1:05:03
[SPEAKER_02]: teething that they're going to do is like I don't know if that leads to anything if this was just him having his own like angle or whatever but like I kind of like that kind of stuff Well, yes, but do we really get towers versus vocal to gun extended?
1:05:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Feared well, if it's just look you can you know what you can do it's like she just like beat them and then like pinstom with like a foot like all of them stack on top of them or feet
1:05:33
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, and then in, uh, a block goes to Ozaki Shotari Shino, if you did the Antemmon at Karsato in 1044 with the Strong Arm Lariat from Shiozaki on, and I thought this was bland.
1:05:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, y'all had to head through the Hiteiki before the match going around whipping people.
1:05:50
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:05:51
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:05:52
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so that was disappointing in terms of that.
1:05:55
[SPEAKER_05]: And then, oh god.
1:05:56
[SPEAKER_05]: Walk me, catch on me, your heart and do what's with Junior defeat and curse your target Japan, 12 o'clock with a diving head by from Smith on Takashi and, well, what do you think?
1:06:07
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, like, what do you think?
1:06:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I was shit.
1:06:10
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's what this was.
1:06:13
[SPEAKER_02]: This was like the opposite of like in the open, like the first night where like they kept the like Takashi and like, curse your match hard.
1:06:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Like this was just way too long.
1:06:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And like, like almost like a reverse also,
1:06:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, like David Boyz and there was like free grade wrestlers, so it's not that much he can screw up, but this is like the reverse of like, it's like, can't just the only one that can like carry this match and like he clearly didn't want to.
1:06:38
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was just absolute fucking nothing.
1:06:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:06:41
[SPEAKER_02]: They can't do it with faith.
1:06:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, I'm going to fucking take this night off.
1:06:44
[SPEAKER_05]: And then in the main event, Zion and Odyssey, didn't ask you how you are in rising high auto.
1:06:49
[SPEAKER_05]: You're 14, 45 with the diving headbutt from Zion on high auto.
1:06:54
[SPEAKER_05]: And Paul, obviously, this might have been the best back to the show.
1:06:57
[SPEAKER_05]: It was either this or the Taoist and I obey versus Ovarian Kuma.
1:07:02
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this was just the best show.
1:07:04
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:07:05
[SPEAKER_05]: Honestly, I might go with Renai Yaventale, actually, and I have an article on honestly how deserve credit for trying to get something out of the champs.
1:07:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:07:17
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they did try it.
1:07:19
[SPEAKER_02]: That's for sure.
1:07:19
[SPEAKER_02]: I can fault them for that.
1:07:21
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's also just like, I don't know if you just like, again, it felt like literally like the whole like wrestling or broom thing is actually.
1:07:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
1:07:59
[SPEAKER_05]: Honestly, the the card looks much better because we've got, well, also on the undercar, we've got Yuko Miyamoto versus Shota Kufuji, and we've got Hideki and Ken go versus Dan and Karu, we've got Go and Shino versus Musasuke and Sekiyoshiyoka, who finally have the first match.
1:08:16
[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, we are spared from Kurosyu, Tokyo, Japan and Takashi, because they were to face the double hummus.
1:08:23
[SPEAKER_05]: That's, and then we got Reiki Hada and Naomi
1:08:28
[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, yeah, that's hopefully something good.
1:08:30
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's pretty good.
1:08:31
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to fast forward a bit because Paul, on the last set of block in Nagoya, they had Kenton and Davy versus the U in block B.
1:08:42
[SPEAKER_05]: They also had Zion versus Reiki in Nomura or Honda Nomura.
1:08:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's interesting.
1:08:49
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that's probably the one that was in Nomura to the end.
1:08:53
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, let's just have to put
1:08:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Unless they're going to do some sort of type thing or then like they have to have like you know like a type break and match or something yeah they could do that but right now I'm feeling like maybe
1:09:10
[SPEAKER_05]: I would not be shocked, they said, also said, I would not be completely surprised if it was Talos.
1:09:15
[SPEAKER_02]: I have a job.
1:09:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:09:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's the one where, like, you kind of save yourself, like, giving away, like, a money match, right, that you could do later.
1:09:23
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:09:24
[SPEAKER_02]: So, like, I can't rule that one out.
1:09:26
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, yeah.
1:09:27
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:09:28
[SPEAKER_05]: Sort of, I don't know.
1:09:29
[SPEAKER_05]: I just, like, just to me, you don't want to send the champs into the final.
1:09:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Because no, that's, no, and especially not these terms.
1:09:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
1:09:41
[SPEAKER_05]: They beat, um, they beat, uh, go and, um, go on a sheet on, they beat the WMS.
1:09:48
[SPEAKER_05]: They're they're established, right?
1:09:50
[SPEAKER_05]: So you could have them lose on the last block night.
1:09:54
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah.
1:09:55
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's why it's just like, it's got to be no more on and you don't want to send Davie boy and kind of unless you're having like, I don't know.
1:10:02
[SPEAKER_05]: Honda or Shino Pinto in the final, yeah.
1:10:07
[SPEAKER_05]: But would you have any of those guys at Yoyogi?
1:10:10
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, let's see if the thing is like, do we know that they're really gonna do a match at Yoyogi?
1:10:16
[SPEAKER_05]: No, I'm talking about triple crown.
1:10:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I don't know.
1:10:19
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.
1:10:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I think the tags hows are happening at Corkin, because they've happened at Cork in the past couple of years, even with the area, right?
1:10:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, I mean, you need to do some sort of canto like and I match at some point if you want to set it up.
1:10:35
[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard to set up now.
1:10:37
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm lucky.
1:10:38
[SPEAKER_02]: It was just really easy before.
1:10:40
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but the easiest way to do that is eliminate canto and gave you boy and that before the finals and then on the final show have Anzile pin canto and
1:10:56
[SPEAKER_05]: are harder and no more.
1:10:58
[SPEAKER_02]: Basically, yeah.
1:11:00
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, like, the more fingerboard the more feel like you must go to win this.
1:11:06
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is just completely screwed that up, yeah.
1:11:09
[SPEAKER_05]: Like the human versus go, and she know we're doing a great final.
1:11:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I could still see go in a scene with like, I feel like, yeah, I mean, from like a blog, it's like, it's gonna be like, go in a scene or let's go through.
1:11:23
[SPEAKER_05]: But the thing is, we know that no more is like leaving.
1:11:26
[SPEAKER_05]: So go in a scene of win, but then you gotta, you gotta tell us, and I have it win.
1:11:31
[SPEAKER_02]: right because they see yeah yeah this is why I mean as much as I like like as much as I've like think talus has been improving like talus and renaiavers is like Zion and Odyssey is like you want to be really really really bad
1:11:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I just unwatchably, so I really don't want to watch that.
1:11:57
[SPEAKER_02]: I might just straight up, if that is, I don't know.
1:12:01
[SPEAKER_02]: If that is actually like a main events to Corrican, on the third, for example, I'm not going to that show.
1:12:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Then I'm just going to, because there's like the married gold show in, like, out of order on that same day.
1:12:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And like that one starts at, like, to 40 and the older pan show starts at, like, 1140.
1:12:26
[SPEAKER_02]: So, like, in theory, maybe I could make it in time, but like, at that point, I'm like, well, I'm just not going to go to all the parents.
1:12:34
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to go, like, to order water and watch like my
1:12:39
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we shall see what happens.
1:12:43
[SPEAKER_02]: So, well, any final closing thoughts?
1:12:46
[SPEAKER_02]: Should I go to Kumamoto just to like go to like the food hall?
1:12:50
[SPEAKER_02]: To the food stuff?
1:12:52
[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of... No, it's not.
1:12:55
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be in Fuku.
1:12:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Like basically, one of my plans is actually...
1:12:58
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be... Yeah, I'm not even just that.
1:13:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm my plan is to like base myself out of Fuku.
1:13:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll follow like four or five.
1:13:05
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, four or five days, basically.
1:13:08
[SPEAKER_02]: So to like basically like go to like Hiroshima Nagasaki Like and then I was thinking like Kumamoto or like the one like South of it with the U.V.
1:13:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Ok, you know Kagashima So like and that's like like my hotel is like close to Hakata Station as well And with the Shinkansen, that's like under an hour to get to Kumamoto So like I think I'm gonna do that
1:13:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, but maybe not in January, but yeah, but get myself a big slap of thieves that I don't know.
1:13:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to prepare it somehow.
1:13:46
[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
1:13:47
[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll be back in a couple.
1:13:49
[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know, feeling like two weeks.
1:13:51
[SPEAKER_05]: And well, how a few things to talk about like the tournament will have happened and it will be a few things in Noah, but not much so we can don't have to rush back.
1:14:00
[SPEAKER_05]: But don't do you want to cover the real world tagging and everything like that.
1:14:04
[SPEAKER_05]: So, and maybe we'll see some more follow-up from the full affair, whatever you want to call it.
1:14:11
[SPEAKER_02]: No gate or full gate, no gate, yeah.
1:14:17
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we make that the emphasize of the full gate.
1:14:20
[SPEAKER_05]: I was thinking, like, just call it the like the shoot fool or something.
1:14:27
[SPEAKER_05]: But there's going to be, you're my Aaryaki reference and whatever we decided to title this episode.
1:14:32
[SPEAKER_02]: There's real rock and fooder.
1:14:35
[SPEAKER_05]: The real fool or something?
1:14:37
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
1:14:39
[SPEAKER_05]: Alright, so we will see you in a couple weeks and enjoy all the wrestling out there.
1:14:43
[SPEAKER_05]: Bye.
