Mega Edition: Epstein Survivors Allege That Officials In The USVI Conspired With Epstein (7/7/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: Tonight, we're going to continue following the financials of the
0:04
Jeffrey Epstein Gilain Maxwell criminal enterprise. We're getting news tonight
0:10
that two more subpoenas have been shipped off in regards
0:15
to the financials of this case and the Virgin Islands.
0:19
So we see the scope growing almost on a weekly
0:23
basis at this point, especially when it comes to the financials.
0:29
Why in the world would Leon Black be funneling ten
0:36
twelve fourteen million dollars through one of Jeffrey Epstein's front
0:40
companies in the Virgin Islands. What are you looking to
0:44
accomplish with that, Trying to wash that money, trying to
0:50
stash it, trying to hide it. Those are the questions
0:54
that need to be answered, and that's what the subpoenas
0:59
in tend to do. They're going to call these people
1:02
under oath to come and speak about the financial aspect
1:06
of their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and for a lot
1:09
of these people that were involved with him, they're going
1:12
to have a lot of explaining to do, because I
1:16
don't know how you can explain a two hundred and
1:18
fifty thousand dollars salary as a personal assistant and as
1:25
far as money laundering goes, well, we know that that
1:28
was going on in an abundance here. Now, they might
1:33
not have come out and said that the authorities, right,
1:36
but when you follow the circumstantial evidence that has been
1:39
provided for us, from all of the articles that we
1:44
have read and all of the articles that are out there,
1:46
it is very, very very clear that these companies that
1:51
they set up offshore in the US, Virgin Islands and
1:54
elsewhere were obviously operating as front companies and a way
1:59
for them to laundered money. And never mind the money
2:04
that they had going through these banks, what about the cash.
2:08
We know that Epstein wasn't just dealing with, you know,
2:12
with a debit card here, right, He had a ton
2:15
of cash and he was giving bags of cash to people.
2:19
You can't track cash. You can't trace cash unless, of course,
2:22
you know, you have a sting operation set into place.
2:24
But for the most part, that's why stuff is done
2:27
in cash when it has to do with illegal activity.
2:30
So we know that Jeffrey Epstein was definitely passing out
2:34
bags of cash as well. But these transactions that occurred
2:39
in the Virgin Islands with these front companies, these transactions
2:43
from people like Leon Black and other super so called
2:49
members of elite society. They all need to be looked
2:52
at with a very, very stringent eye, because look, how
2:57
many more examples do we need to see of the
3:01
super elite, the super rich still try and cheat their
3:06
way through How many times have we seen these people
3:09
evade their taxes. How many times have we seen these
3:11
people launder money? How many times have we seen these
3:15
people get away with it. I don't know about you, folks,
3:18
but I'm pretty tired of it. If they would have
3:21
just kept their shenanigans to thievery, grifting and all around
3:26
general political degeneratism, then I probably would have never even
3:31
taken notice. But you add in the whole sex trafficking
3:35
factor to it, and well, there is only one conclusion
3:40
anybody with a straight thinking mind can come to, and
3:44
that is that the people who were involved in this,
3:47
be it the biggest richest banker in the world or
3:51
a lowly butler, they all must answer questions for what
3:55
role they played. And that's what we see going on
3:59
here as this probe begins to expand in the Virgin Islands.
4:05
Our article tonight is from Bloomberg. The author of this
4:08
article is Patricia Hurtado headlined Epstein records targeted in expanding
4:15
probe by Virgin Islands. The Virgin Islands has expanded its
4:20
document search in our racketeering lawsuit against the estate of
4:24
deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, issuing new subpoenas last week
4:29
after demanding records from six financial institutions in July. And
4:35
it's very interesting that this is a racketeering lawsuit right
4:38
obviously in the civil sense, but still its progress. Anytime
4:44
we see the word racketeering next to Jeffrey Epstein or
4:47
Gilain Maxwell or one of their enterprises, is a day
4:51
that is a good day. Because once this blooms into that,
4:56
and once this becomes a racketeering case criminally, then it's
5:01
game on and the shoe is about to drop on
5:05
the rest of these people. That's when you know that
5:08
the prosecution is really serious. That's when you know that
5:12
the SDNY has taken the gloves off and they're really
5:15
looking to put people behind bars. Carol Thomas Jacobs, the
5:21
territory's chief Deputy Attorney General, said in court filings August
5:25
twenty fourth she had subpoenaed Epstein related records from Eric,
5:29
American Foreign Exchange Incorporated and Narrows Holding LLC. Again, more
5:35
of these little banking type institutions, These places where Jeffrey
5:42
Epstein was able to wield all sorts of influence and
5:46
have all kinds of questionable If we're being generous, financial
5:53
transactions take place. See the idea is, if you have
5:58
enough people working on the inside, well, then this stuff
6:01
won't get into the Vincent database, this stuff won't get starked,
6:04
this stuff won't end up in Title thirty one. And
6:07
that's the whole idea. Right, If you have enough money
6:09
and you can spread it around and you have some
6:11
people in your pocket that are big wigs in these
6:14
companies or board members or whatever it may be, it
6:17
sure makes your life of criminal activity a whole hell
6:22
of a lot easier to navigate. And that's what we
6:26
see with these financial transactions. That's what we see with
6:29
these companies. There's a reason that Epstein chose these companies.
6:33
There is a reason that Jeffrey Epstein would park money
6:36
here or move money through here as a middleman. It's
6:41
not because these companies are you know, five star rated
6:45
on yelp okay. It's because either a Jeffrey Epstein knows
6:50
somebody who has done business with these companies before, and
6:53
this is how they roll. Or b Epstein might have
6:56
a guy or a girl or somebody in between that
6:59
might work in the boardroom or whatever it may be.
7:02
But there is a reason why these places were used.
7:09
The prosecutor wants records and account statements from American Foreign
7:12
Exchange tied to more than two dozen Epstein entities since
7:16
January first, nineteen ninety eight, until the present. According to
7:20
court filings from Narrow's Holding, the territory seeks documents and
7:24
electronically stored information or objects along with permit entry onto
7:29
the designated who hold on permit entry onto the designated
7:33
premises record show, so not only are they looking for
7:37
the electronically stored information, they are requesting actual physical entrance
7:43
into the premises that are being subpoened. So these two places,
7:48
American Foreign Exchange and Narrow's Holding, they're looking at not
7:54
only being basically audited digitally. They're talking about sending agents
7:59
and I'm guessing forensic accountants onto the property in a
8:03
physical manner to finish and continue to conduct their investigation.
8:09
That's pretty serious peril for these people. Right, that's the
8:12
kind of shit you see in TV shows. American Foreign
8:17
Exchange and Narrow's holdings couldn't be immediately located for comment.
8:21
A spokeswoman for the Virgin Islands Attorney General's office didn't
8:25
immediately return an email seeking comment about the new subpoenas.
8:29
And they have been extra busy in the Virgin Islands
8:33
with these subpoenas, right, and again, I'm not a big
8:37
fan of Denise George, especially considering her money grab when
8:41
it comes to the Survivor's Fund, and I've been very
8:45
adamant about that from the beginning, that the Virgin Islands
8:49
should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking that they're
8:52
entitled to any of this money. And the fact that
8:55
so many prominent people in the Virgin Islands were associated
9:00
with Epstein. We're taking money from Epstein, received donations from Epstein,
9:05
and let's be real, folks knew what Epstein was. Well,
9:09
it doesn't sit well with me that all of these
9:11
officials were in power in the Virgin Islands. They enriched
9:15
themselves on the backs of these girls who were being
9:18
abused basically, and now they're going to try and revictimize
9:23
them by getting money out of this fund. It does
9:26
not sit well with me. Denise George should be ashamed
9:28
of herself. Somebody needs to check her. I don't know
9:31
who it might be, but somebody needs to sit this
9:33
lady down and have a talk with her. Stick with
9:36
these subpoenas here and going after the money so that
9:40
the survivors can get what they deserve a place like
9:44
the Virgin Islands and somebody like Denise George need to
9:47
keep their fingers out of the cookie jar. Denise George,
9:53
the Attorney General of the Virgin Islands, sued Epstein's estate
9:56
and six related companies in January alleging violation of the
10:00
territory civil racketeering law. It is seeking unspecified damages, forfeiture
10:06
of Epstein's private island in the territory and restitution for
10:10
his sexual abuse victims. This is what I was just
10:14
talking about here, the forfeiture of Epstein's private island. None
10:17
of that stuff is going to fly. In my opinion,
10:20
it can't be allowed to fly all right. That island
10:23
needs to be sold to the highest bidder. That money
10:26
needs to go into the estate so that it could
10:29
be chopped up and the girls who were abused by
10:33
Epstein can get a little bit of that fortune for
10:38
themselves so that they can start their lives again, right,
10:41
so they can start over. You know, no matter how
10:45
much money you get from this estate, it's never going
10:48
to change the fact that you were abused by this man, right,
10:52
or that this man caused you irrevocable harm. But it
10:57
does help out starting the rest of your life and
11:00
getting things moving perhaps in a positive direction for some
11:04
of these survivors, I'm sure for the first time maybe
11:07
in a long time. So that's why I think that
11:09
it's so important that they're compensated correctly. And the fact
11:13
that Denise George thinks it's a good idea that they
11:16
think they're going to get a little bit of restitution,
11:19
like they're gonna sit at the table twice here, well,
11:22
I just don't think that that is. It's not an
11:26
acceptable thing to happen. Authorities on the island are also
11:32
conducting a criminal investigation into whether Epstein's longtime associate Maxwell,
11:37
participated in his criminal sex trafficking ring. Maxwell was arrested
11:42
in July in a separate probe involving similar charges brought
11:46
by the US Attorney in Manhattan she is pleaded not guilty.
11:50
Epstein was found dead in a federal jail cell about
11:52
a year ago after the US charged him with sex trafficking.
11:56
So not only do we have this investment litigation running
12:00
right now, the civil portion of this running in the
12:02
Virgin Islands, there is also a criminal investigation underway that
12:07
is running concurrently with the one that's happening in the
12:10
SDNY in Manhattan. I am interested to see what sort
12:13
of progress they've made in the Virgin Islands and if
12:16
they have taken a different angle when it comes to
12:19
the criminal side of this case. It's going to be
12:21
interesting to see what they release coming forward and if
12:25
any charges come out of this. As far as the
12:27
investigation criminally in the Virgin Islands, I'm very interested to
12:32
see where it goes. Last month, George asked the six
12:36
financial institutions for account statements, deposit and withdrawal slips, information
12:41
about the source and destination of funds and the identity
12:45
of those requesting the transactions. And this is a big,
12:48
big shot across the bow, right. This is something that
12:51
will have all of these people terrified. Information about the
12:55
source and the destination of the funds. So where they
12:59
originate and where they ended up. And the people who
13:04
received or sent those funds are going to be on
13:07
the hook to answer for what occurred here. You signed
13:11
your name to it, right, you receive that money, right, Well,
13:15
now you have received money that has been attained via
13:19
ill gotten gains in the commission of a crime. So
13:23
now you are also part of the conspiracy. If it's
13:28
good enough for Italian people all over the country, it
13:31
most certainly is good enough for Jeffrey Epstein. She is
13:36
also seeking internal bank memos, phone records, internal correspondence, and
13:41
documentation of any internal due diligence or investigations related to
13:46
the account. And it is a very interesting situation that
13:51
we see evolving in the Virgin Islands as these subpoenas
13:56
become more let's see more forthcoming in the future. Right,
14:06
As we start to see more come out of these
14:08
subpoenas and the process, it's going going to be interesting
14:12
to see how much of the findings in this case
14:17
relate to what's going on in the case in the
14:19
SDNY and vice versa. And I wonder, and I would
14:23
think that the attorney generals working on both cases, or
14:27
at the very least the prosecution teams that are working
14:30
on both cases are in contact with each other and
14:33
trading information. At least you would think that that is occurring, right,
14:37
You would hope anyway. But it's going to be interesting
14:40
to see how this all breaks, folks. I mean, we
14:43
got a lot of things that are happening here, and
14:45
things are happening pretty quickly, So we're going to stay
14:48
on top of it, and we will continue to follow
14:52
what happens here in the Virgin Islands and in New
14:55
York and every place else that has to do with
14:59
Jeffrey Epstein and Gilaine Maxwell getting the justice that they
15:03
so deserve. If you like to contact me, you can

15:21
All of the links that go with this episode can
15:23
be found in the description box. What's up, everyone, and
15:27
welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. The lawsuit filed by
15:32
the survivors down in the USVII against the government of
15:37
the USVII continues to make its way through the system,
15:41
and now we have had a second amended complaint filed
15:45
alleging that the USVII officials conspired with Epstein for financial gain.
15:51
And it's almost as if I was wearing my miss cleocapont.
15:54
How long have I been telling you that this was
15:57
going on down in the USVII While everybody else is
16:00
out here telling you how great Denise George is. I
16:04
was the one telling you that this whole entire situation
16:06
was foo bar from Jump Street. And anytime you have
16:10
a situation where an entity like a government is getting
16:13
more money than the actual people who were abused, you
16:16
know the hustle is real, and you know that whoever
16:19
you're involved with is pulling a lick. And that's what
16:22
the USVII tried to do. They tried to secure a
16:25
bag here on the back of these girls who suffered,
16:28
and they were pretty successful doing so. How much money
16:32
did they rake in? How much money do they continue
16:35
to rake in? And now they have the audacity to
16:38
get bent out of shape when these survivors attempt to
16:41
recoup that money. And keep in mind, if it was
16:44
about justice, this would have been a Rico case, not
16:47
a SECO case. It's never been about justice down in
16:50
the USVII. It's always been about one thing, and one thing,
16:53
only collecting a bag, and now that they're being called
16:56
out for it, they're not very happy about it. Today's
17:00
article is from the Saint Thomas source and the headline
17:03
amended complaint alleges VI officials conspired with Epstein for a
17:07
financial gain. This article was authored by c and Cobb.
17:12
A second amended complaint filed Friday in Manhattan Federal Court
17:16
by six victims of Jeffrey Epstein who were suing the
17:19
VI government for alleged violations of Trafficking Victims Protection Act
17:24
claimed territory officials actively conspired with the late multimillionaire to
17:29
perpetrate his sex trafficking scheme for their own gain. And
17:33
what else would they be doing it for? For fun? Oh? Yeah,
17:36
you know what. Let's sell Epstein out and not get
17:38
anything on the flip side. Does anybody on the planet
17:41
believe that? And if you do, well, hate to say it,
17:45
but you're dumb. In effect, the US Virgin Islands became
17:48
a government sanctioned sanctuary for the wealthy men who paid
17:52
Epstein substantial sums of money to travel from New York
17:56
to engage in commercial sex acts with women also traveling
17:59
from that state. The amended pseud alledges. Epstein would then
18:03
deposit the funds in his New York bank accounts, from
18:06
which he paid the defendants In the USVII. It says
18:09
it was a quid pro quo arrangement where Epstein can
18:12
make a fortune providing wealthy men with women and girls
18:15
to abuse at his private island off Saint Thomas, and
18:18
USVII officials could tap them for money for everything from
18:22
political campaigns to Little League programs, legal bills, and even
18:26
a fifty million dollar loan when the territory was short
18:29
on cash. The lawsuit alledges. So all of this has
18:32
been known for years and years and years, and now
18:36
it's a big issue when the survivors make it an issue.
18:40
But where's all of the hard charging journalists. Where are
18:43
all the people that want to tell you all this
18:45
nonsense all the time about this story? Oh that's right,
18:49
This is installacious enough for him. The fact that the
18:52
USVI government is being sued now as being a co
18:56
conspirator with Jeffrey Epstein. You would think that a whole
18:59
ass government that's being put on blast would make more news,
19:03
But I guess not. In return, Epstein had free reign
19:07
to travel as he pleased between New York and the
19:10
USVII with whom he pleased, without any oversight from customs, police, Coastguard,
19:15
and any other officials. It says, well, if you pay
19:18
enough people off, and you send enough people's kids to college,
19:22
and the governor's wife works in your office, well, what
19:25
do you think is gonna happen? You think you're going
19:27
to get in trouble. People like this don't get in trouble. Instead,
19:30
they're able to wiggle off the hook each and every
19:32
time because they have a fat ass bank account. It's
19:36
an allegation that's repeated throughout the amended complaint, which is
19:39
eighty three pages and also claims negligence and violations of
19:43
the Racketeer Influenced in Corrupt Organizations Act that seeks to
19:48
show why the Federal Court in the Southern District of
19:50
New York is the right venue and New York State
19:53
is correct jurisdiction for the case. Obviously, they don't want
19:57
the case to be heard down in the USVII. They
20:00
feel like it'll be tainted and they have a better
20:02
shot if they can hear this up at SDNY in
20:05
New York. So that's what the survivor's lawyers are shooting for.
20:10
And the basis of all of that is that the
20:12
production of this, meaning the money, the banking, these girls
20:16
coming from New York, it's all in that jurisdiction. So
20:19
what they're trying to do is say, we're suing you
20:22
in this jurisdiction because this is where at least some
20:25
of this egregious behavior took place. The class action suit
20:29
was first filed in November by Jane Does one through
20:32
five and amended in December to add a six plaintiff,
20:36
a registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to procuring a
20:39
minor for prostitution in Florida in two thousand and eight.
20:42
Epstein died by apparent suicide in August of twenty nineteen
20:46
at age sixty six, while in detention in New York
20:49
on federal trafficking charges. His primary residence was Little Saint James,
20:54
his private island off Saint Thomas, where for years he
20:57
ran a complex web of shell companies registered in the
21:01
USVII and afforded some three hundred million in tax breaks
21:05
through the territory's Economic Development Commission that enabled his crimes,
21:10
so over three hundred million in tax breaks. And the
21:13
crazy part about that is if they would have just
21:15
taxed Epstein the correct way, they would have made more
21:17
money than stealing it from the survivors. And that's right,
21:21
that's what I'm calling it theft. That's what this is.
21:25
These politicians weren't abused. In fact, they were helping Epstein
21:29
at least some of them, and enabling him to cause
21:31
the abuse. Now they should get paid at both ends
21:34
of the table. The defendants, the VI government, former First
21:38
Ladies Cecil DeJong, Delegate to Congress Dacy Plaskett, former Senators
21:42
so Destino White and Carlton Dow, former Attorney General Vincent Fraser,
21:47
and former Governors Kenneth Mapp and John DeJong have argued
21:51
that in their motions to dismiss that none of them
21:53
has ties to New York and had little to no
21:56
interaction with Epstein in that state, let alone business dealings,
21:59
according to the court filings. And that's why they're looking
22:02
for RICO. And if the survivors get their wish and
22:06
this is classified as a RICO type of situation, could
22:10
be real big trouble for the USVII officials and that's
22:13
why you won't see it become rico. At best, we'll
22:16
see a SECO case here, and we'll see more payouts,
22:19
because that's all we're ever going to see in this case,
22:21
never going to see real justice. However, on Thursday, Judge
22:25
Aaron Subramanian terminated those motions to dismiss and granted emotion.
22:31
The dose filed Thursday requesting permission to file the second
22:34
amended complaint, ordering that they do so by Friday. He
22:38
further ordered that the defendants now file motions on the
22:41
amended complaint by June third. The plaintiffs' responses are due
22:46
by June twenty fourth, and replies by July eighth. An
22:49
initial conference is scheduled for July thirty first, at one pm.
22:53
The amended complaint, like the first, leans almost entirely on
22:57
information gleaned from the VI government's laws suit against JP
23:00
Morgan Chase, Epstein's primary bank until twenty thirteen, which was
23:05
settled for seventy five million dollars in September. The defendants
23:09
were all deposed in that case, but the publicly available
23:13
records are heavily redacted and much remains under seal. On
23:16
April twenty ninth, the DOSE filed a motion seeking a
23:19
court order granting them access to the full record. Presiding
23:23
Judge Jeds Raykoff had not rendered a decision as of Friday.
23:27
And there's no doubt that the USVII really stepped in
23:30
it with this lawsuit. And this is what greed does
23:33
to you, right. The USVII, well, they weren't happy with
23:35
the couple of bucks they were getting, so they kept
23:38
pushing the issue. And now well they find themselves on
23:41
the other side of one of the same kinds of
23:43
lawsuits that they filed themselves. It was not until the
23:46
recent case where JP Morgan disclosed that it had deposed
23:50
members of the USVII government, that the plaintiffs and public
23:53
learned that the many acts committed by defendants which contributed
23:57
to and caused plaintiff's injuries under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act,
24:01
The amended complain states much of the conspiring around the
24:05
sex abuse that occurred in the US Virgin Islands took
24:08
place while Epstein was in New York or residence the
24:11
pseud alleges. It notes that Plasket twice met with him
24:15
at his mansion to discuss political donations. Which she said
24:18
she ultimately returned, and that Cecil DeJong stayed in one
24:21
of his apartments for a month in twenty seventeen. And
24:25
Stacy Plaskett is just disgusting. This lady's up there talking
24:29
about January sixth, and she's out here as somebody taking
24:33
money from Epstein. Really, and nobody's gonna call her out. Huh.
24:36
I guess she's one of the faves too. In her
24:40
deposition for the JP Morgan case, the former First Lady
24:43
said it was so she could recover from knee surgery.
24:46
The amended complaint alleges it was in order to advise
24:50
and assist him in securing the usvii's cooperation as a
24:53
safe harbor for a sex trafficking ring. Defendants conspired, facilitated, accepted,
24:59
and encouraged them the abuse and sex trafficking of the
25:01
NY victims at the behest and hands of Epstein, a
25:05
New York based individual, and his New York clients, to occur,
25:08
continue to occur and flourish in the USVII. The complaint
25:12
alleges after he and his clients sexually abuse the victims
25:16
at his island estate of Little Saint James, the defendants
25:20
then conspired to accommodate the unencumbered transfer and or travel
25:24
of Epstein, his associates, his victims, and his clients from
25:27
the USVII to NY. It says, and basically what they're
25:31
saying is there are no safeguards in place. Nobody was
25:35
stepping up to stop Epstein. They all knew what he
25:37
was doing, and instead of stopping him, they instead enabled
25:40
him and prolonged the abuse of these women. The suit
25:44
singles out Cecial Dejeong, Epstein's office manager from two thousand
25:48
to twenty nineteen, as a conduit through which the others
25:52
were recruited into the scheme, listing, for example, her efforts
25:56
to help Epstein influence sex offender legislation that was before
26:00
the vi legislature when Fraser was Attorney General, or a
26:04
suggestion that he paid White a monthly retainer for his support,
26:08
or to help Dow's bid to become head of the
26:10
Viport Authority. In return, Epstein paid her children's tuition to
26:14
the tune of six hundred and twenty five thousand dollars
26:17
and loan the couple two hundred and fifteen thousand to
26:20
help John DeJong settle the case over improvements to their
26:23
private home using public funds when he was governor. It
26:26
says Cecil DeJong purposely directed and coordinated the payments to
26:30
defendants or their designees from Epstein's New York bank accounts
26:34
to her and other defendants. The pseud alleges the individual
26:39
defendants through emails and calls two individuals in New York
26:42
solicited denticed Epstein and his co conspirators and wealthy clients
26:47
to bring business and investment income from New York to
26:50
the USVII by promising tax breaks, unfedered access to women
26:54
for purposes of commercial sex acts, tax incentives, privacy and
26:59
freedom from investigation and or supervision by any and all
27:03
government agencies, including federal agencies. Through their promised coercion and
27:08
influence over anyone who could interfere with sex trafficking venture,
27:12
it says, all defendants derived substantial revenue from these acts
27:17
one thousand percent. And if this isn't rico, I don't
27:20
know what is people out here talking about? Rico? This, rico,
27:24
that bro this is rico. Okay, if you want a
27:27
case that fits all of the boundaries, that ticks off
27:31
all of the different lines that need to be ticked off.
27:34
This is it. This case does not involve mere fraud,
27:38
according to the amended complaint. Instead, defendant's conduct and obstructing
27:42
enforcement of the TVPA was outrageous and intentional because it
27:47
was deliberate further into a widespread and dangerous criminal sex
27:50
trafficking organization for financial gain and political power. Defendants obstruction
27:56
also evinced a high degree of moral turpitude and demonstrate
28:00
such wanton dishonesty as to imply a criminal indifference to
28:03
civil obligations. It says, so certainly not messing around down
28:07
here when it comes to this lawsuit. The survivors mean business,
28:11
and they truly believe that they were wronged by the
28:14
USVII government and that the USVII government owes them restitution.
28:18
And guess what, In my opinion, they're right. So let's
28:22
see what happens here, and let's see if the USVII
28:26
is finally held to account for their bullshit when it
28:29
comes to Jeffrey Epstein. All of the information that goes
28:33
with this episode can be found in the description box
28:38
and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. The other day,
28:42
we were discussing the dispute between Epstein's estate and the
28:46
US Virgin Islands over unpaid bills and the lean that
28:51
Denise George and the United States Virgin Islands slapped on
28:55
the estate. Well, now it looks like they're getting close
28:58
to a resolution to figure all of this out. So
29:03
let's jump into this article from ABC News and let's
29:06
see what James Hill has come up with headline, Jeffrey
29:10
Epstein estate nearing settlement with US Virgin Islands. Attorneys for
29:17
the estate of notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein told a
29:20
judge in the US Virgin Islands this week that they
29:23
are extraordinarily close to resolving a civil case filed by
29:26
the government of the island territory against the late financier
29:30
Pedophiles estate, once valued at over six hundred and fifty
29:35
million dollars. So it looks like Denise George is going
29:38
to get her wish here, right, She's going to get
29:39
some money out of this, and the US Virgin Islands
29:42
is going to get some money out of this. And
29:45
we'll never have anyone held responsible for setting Jeffrey Epstein up,
29:50
facilitating these offshore liquid limited type companies will never have
29:55
any sort of you know, justice for people in that
30:00
But what we will have is some of the money
30:03
from the Estates siphoned off and given to the Virgin Islands.
30:08
And it's ridiculous. I've said it was ridiculous from the
30:11
jump and I'll keep saying it. All of that money
30:14
should have went to these survivors. We've been having intense
30:19
negotiations and talks for settlement. We are very very close,
30:23
said Gordon Reya, a lawyer for Richard Kahn, a former
30:26
accountant for Epstein and one of the Estates Co executors.
30:30
And I think one more push and we could be
30:33
at the finish line. Boy, I can only imagine what
30:35
Denise George has seeded to get some of this money.
30:39
You know, she was going hard with the SECO case.
30:41
I thought, guess not like usual. It's all posturing and
30:45
it all comes down to money. That's really what it
30:47
all comes down to. The News of a potential deal
30:51
came on Wednesday during a virtual conference in Superior Court
30:55
in Saint Thomas, where the parties continue to spar over
30:59
the Estates legal fees and other expenses. The hearing was
31:03
the first since the case was filed more than two
31:05
years ago by Denise George, the Attorney General of the
31:08
US Virgin Islands. How is it that you could file
31:11
a case two years ago and this is the first
31:13
time that it's even touching a courtroom. If that doesn't
31:17
tell you that the whole process is gummed up, that
31:19
the whole process is backwards, I don't know. What does.
31:23
How about we get to this stuff in a timely manner,
31:26
fix it and put it behind us. Instead these courts
31:31
drag things out for two five ten years. In some accounts,
31:34
it's ridiculous. Carol Thomas Jacobs, a Deputy Attorney General, acknowledged
31:41
talks are ongoing and that progress is being made, but
31:45
said there were a few sticky issues that remain. Oh,
31:48
I would think so after all of the hype from
31:52
the Virgin Islands off is, all of the innuendo and
31:55
accusations that they pumped out there, all of the subpoenas
31:58
that they filed, this will sure seem like a fizzled
32:01
out adventure. If they settle here, right, she doesn't pursue
32:06
it anymore. And what it does, honestly, is it exposes
32:11
from the beginning that her whole entire motivation was the money.
32:14
Here was never about making the women whole was never
32:17
about you know, holding people responsible. It was about collecting
32:21
a couple of bucks for the Virgin Islands. We remain
32:26
open to engaging in settlement discussions until there is some resolution,
32:29
Thomas Jacobs told Superior Court Judge Harold Willocks. We hope
32:34
we can reach a resolution. Epstein died by suicide allegedly
32:38
in prison in twenty nineteen while awaiting trial in New
32:41
York on conspiracy and child sex trafficking charges. The government's
32:47
case against the estate, filed in January twenty twenty under
32:51
the US Virgin Islands Racketeering Statute, alleged that Epstein created
32:55
a network of shell companies, charitable organizations, and individual that
33:00
participated in and conspired with him in a decade long
33:04
pattern of criminal activity tied to alleged sex trafficking of
33:08
minor girls and young women. Now think about that for
33:11
a minute. This was a suit filed in twenty twenty,
33:14
a racketeering suit, but only in the civil manner. Now
33:18
you mean to tell me that we only have enough
33:20
here for a sec okase and not a RICO case.
33:25
What are they doing? What is up with the SDNY?
33:28
What's up with Maureen Comy, you would think that they'd
33:32
be trying to get that feather in their cap, right. Damn,
33:34
we took down Epstein and his whole entire network. Who's
33:38
not going to give you a pat on the back
33:39
for taking down child molesters. But for some reason they
33:43
didn't go to the full Monty, did they? We didn't
33:45
see Rico, We didn't see the full weight, the full
33:48
power of the government brought to bear on Glen Maxwell.
33:53
Got to ask yourself why Epstein, through an association with defendants, trafficked, raped,
34:01
sexually assaulted and held captive underage girls and young women
34:05
at his properties in the Virgin Islands. The complaint said,
34:07
So that's a complaint that was originally put in by
34:10
Denise George and the Virgin Islands. Does that sound like
34:13
something you're willing to just go to court and settle with.
34:16
I mean, shouldn't you pursue that to the very ends?
34:19
If you're the Attorney General? I know if it was me,
34:22
a settlement would be out of the question here because
34:24
it's not about the money, it's about the justice. But
34:27
in the real world where we all happen to live,
34:30
it's not the case, right it's all about the money.
34:36
The government also contends that one of Epstein's US Virgin
34:39
Islands based businesses, Southern Trust Company, misrepresented the nature of
34:44
its work to fraudently obtain more than seventy three million
34:48
dollars in tax incentives Fraudentlyuh huh. Who's the one who
34:51
helped him out with that? Was it just some regular
34:54
old schmoe or was it an official from the US
34:58
Virgin Islands? And if it was it was, when's Denise
35:02
George gonna go after him? When is she going to
35:04
pursue justice in her own backyard? After filing the lawsuit,
35:11
George placed leans on all of Epstein's properties, including two
35:15
private islands off the coast of Saint Thomas, as well
35:18
as the estates bank accounts, which effectively gave her office
35:21
control over the estate's money. Over the estate's money, You
35:26
wonder what it's all about, don't look any further. You
35:29
know what it's all about. And Denise George gets up
35:31
there with a lot of platitudes and oh, it's about
35:33
justice and restitution, but really, let's be honest, it all
35:37
comes down to securing that bag and making herself look
35:41
better to the voting populace. We all know she's she's
35:44
gonna try and run for another office at some point,
35:47
probably and this will be her launch point. Right. Well,
35:50
I was able to recoup X amount of dollars from
35:54
Jeffrey Epstein. Meanwhile, what you're doing is taking money out
35:57
of the hands of the survivors, and I find that
36:00
to be absolutely disgusting. The government has since sent dozens
36:06
of subpoenas to financial institutions and individuals around the world
36:10
previously associated with Epstein, including billionaire investors Leon Black and
36:15
Glenn Dubin, as well as Epstein's former paramore, former paramore
36:19
James Hill, Really bro paramore. How about convicted human trafficker
36:24
do better, James Hill Glene Maxwell, who was convicted of
36:27
sex trafficking in federal court late last year. Maxwell has
36:31
a pending motion for a new trial based on alleged
36:34
jer misconduct. Well, here's the thing, Okay, Glenn Dubin, Leon Black,
36:39
all of these guys caught up in this. They should
36:42
have to answer for this, but they won't because what
36:45
will happen is they'll be a settlement. Denise George won't
36:47
ride this out. She'll settle for X amount of dollars
36:51
and everybody will ride into the sunset happy, because that's
36:54
how it works when you have money, right, money buys
36:57
your way out of all of this shit. The one
37:00
good thing that we can rest our hats on, at
37:02
least with Leon black anyway, is that Apollo Global is
37:07
going to take it in the pants over this Russia stuff.
37:10
They have big time investments with Russia and they're definitely
37:13
gonna take it in the pants. So is Blackstone. So
37:16
all of these hedge funds, all of these hedges that
37:19
are continuously attempting to ruin your life, well they're about
37:22
to take a little bit of a financial blow. So
37:25
at least we could take that with us and be
37:28
happy about that. The estate, which filed a motion to
37:35
dismiss the government's lawsuit in twenty twenty, has so far
37:38
refused to engage in any pre trial exchanges of documents,
37:42
with the government, arguing that it would be wasteful and
37:45
unnecessary to do so until a court rules on its
37:48
motion to dismiss the claims. And again, what are we
37:51
waiting for. I mean, you guys can't be that busy
37:54
down there. Make a little bit of room clear your schedule.
37:57
Stop the golf game, whatever it might be. I mean,
37:59
come on, we're talking two years now. Enough is enough.
38:06
The government filed an amended complaint late last year and
38:10
added the estate's co executors Cohn and Epstein's longtime attorney,
38:14
Darren Endyke as individual defendants, alleging that the pair were
38:19
indispensable captains in Epstein's criminal organization and had profited substantially
38:24
from their relationship with Epstein. So again, if you're that
38:28
confident in all of this, why is it just a
38:30
SECO case? Why didn't you bring criminal charges against them
38:33
as well? And I'm sitting here, I asked that question
38:38
all the time, and all of these wise guys in
38:41
the legacy media that think they're so goddamn smart have
38:44
no answers for me, just like they have no answers
38:46
about Nicholas Tartaglioni. You want to see their eyes glaze over,
38:51
and you want to see the official narrative pumpers look silly.
38:56
We'll just start asking questions about Tartaglioni and they don't
38:59
know what to say about that. They can't point to
39:01
Bill Barr coming in to tell them what happened. This
39:07
includes their direct participation and virtually all of the business
39:11
operations and financial activities of Epstein's trafficking network, including facilitating
39:16
forced marriages among Epstein's victims to secure their immigration status.
39:20
George said in a statement early last year, So all
39:23
of this bad stuff that they're allegedly into, all of
39:26
this stuff that they're doing, But Denise George's office is
39:28
willing to go into an office and I mean a
39:30
settlement with them. Why why don't you just prosecute them.
39:38
Indike and Khan were selected by Epstein as co executors
39:42
in a will he updated two days before his death.
39:45
The documents stipulate that each of them each of them
39:48
to be paid two hundred and fifty thousand dollars annually
39:51
for their management of the estate. The two men, through
39:54
their attorneys, have denied allegations law in the lawsuit and
39:57
deny any involvement in misconduct by Epstein. So two hundred
40:01
and fifty thousand dollars seems to be the standard amount
40:05
that Epstein was piping off to the Core four and
40:08
his assistance. Now, I'm sure there was some gravy on
40:11
top of those, on top of the mashed potatoes at times,
40:14
but it looks like two hundred and fifty grand was
40:16
the base pay for the scuzz bags around them. So
40:19
I guess the going rate in New York to sell
40:21
your soul is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Daniel Wiener,
40:27
perfect name for this clown, an attorney for the co executors,
40:30
told ABC News by email in twenty twenty one that
40:33
Endike and Khn categorically reject the allegations of misconduct made
40:38
for the first time today by the Attorney General of
40:40
the Virgin Islands regarding their purported roles in the so
40:44
called Epstein enterprise. You know it's so condescending, the so
40:47
called Epstein's enterprise, bro, The estage is paid out of
40:50
bazillion trillion dollars. The fuck you mean so called stop
40:55
with the so called stop with the wordsmithing. People are
40:58
tired of it. Tired of it. Regular people, you know,
41:00
the working class, the proletariat us. Yeah, we're tired of
41:04
your bullshit. Neither mister Indike nor mister Kahan had any
41:12
involvement in any misconduct by mister Epstein of any kind
41:15
at any time. Wiener wrote, what about the structuring that
41:18
Indyke did? What about all the trips to Western Union
41:21
and the money taking out at ninety five hundred dollars
41:23
ninety nine hundred dollars trying to beat ctr I mean,
41:29
come on, man, this is just ridiculous. You could all
41:32
of this stuff that they say you can disprove literally
41:35
right away if you've been following this case. So how
41:37
do they get away with saying this kind of stuff
41:40
in court with? It is enormously regrettable that the Attorney
41:46
General chose to level false allegations and to unfairly malign
41:50
the co executor's reputation without any proof or a factual
41:54
basis to do so. Let me ask you a question.
41:57
Whose signature was on all of those transactions. Who was
42:00
Jeffrey Epstein's in house lawyer. We all know it was Dyke.
42:05
He was running around making pretend he was Tom Hagen,
42:07
like Epstein was Don Corleone. Fuck Addy here, man, act
42:11
like you have no responsibility, that you had no idea
42:14
what was going on. You're the dude that was looking
42:16
at the financials, homie. You're one of the guiltiest of
42:19
all in my opinion. The government's attorney Thomas Jacobs expressed
42:24
concern during the hearing that the estate's value had been
42:27
greatly diminished over the last two years, and described some
42:31
of the expenses of the estate, including more than fifteen
42:34
million dollars in legal fees to date, as extremely outrageous.
42:39
Since its initial valuation of six hundred and fifty six million,
42:42
the estate's coffers have dwindled dwindled to one hundred and
42:46
sixty six million, according to the estate's most recent accounting
42:50
in probate court. Again, how are you going to have
42:53
one hundred and sixty six million dollars left? And some
42:55
of these survivors only got pennies on the dollar. We're
42:59
gonna have to go back and revisit that compensation fund
43:02
at some point, and we're gonna have to talk about
43:04
that a little bit more because this is crazy. Now.
43:07
I could see if every single dollar had been distributed,
43:11
then it's one thing, but that's not the case. We
43:19
are absolutely concerned that in the end there will be
43:22
no money left for the people of the Virgin Islands.
43:25
She said, there you go, and that is the motivation.
43:28
How long have I been telling you guys that that's
43:30
the motivation? Since jump Street, right, I could sniff somebody
43:34
trying to secure a bag. Folks, me and my big
43:37
ass nose sniff that right out. You can call me
43:39
Nostril dmis She was all about that bag from Jump Street.
43:43
It's never been about justice, because if it was about justice,
43:46
she would have filed criminal charges against these clowns. Those
43:51
comments drew a sharp rebuke from the estate attorney Mark Weinstein,
43:55
who noted that the estate had paid one hundred and
43:57
seventy five million dollars in tax and the one hundred
44:01
and fifty million to Epstein's survivors, which he said accounted
44:04
for the bulk of the estate's expenses over the last
44:07
two years. I assume nobody on the government's side is
44:11
saying we shouldn't pay the taxes and we shouldn't pay
44:13
it out to the survivors, Weinstein said. They just keep
44:16
throwing out the numbers to make it sound bad. Oh
44:19
here's an idea. The government should have backed the fuck off.
44:22
First of all, God forbid, they don't get their taste right.
44:25
You know what's crazy about the government. At what point
44:27
did we get to the spot we're in where if
44:30
I have a chicken and you have some carrots, and
44:33
I want to trade you some chicken for those carrots.
44:35
Why does the government have to have a piece of that?
44:37
All right, Sorry, that's for a different rant, I guess.
44:39
But the point is this. The government should have taken
44:42
a step back and let the survivors get paid out
44:45
what they're due, and then if there was anything left
44:48
after that, then seize the whole entire thing and get
44:50
your couple of bucks for your drifting. But I feel
44:54
the same way about the United States government as I
44:57
do about the government down in the Virgin Islands. Got
45:00
all the chance in the world to stop this. Dude,
45:02
You let this happen for how long? Now you want
45:04
to talk about financial compensation for the government, the fuck
45:08
out of here. The estate recently filed an emergency motion
45:13
of a release of one point three million in legal
45:16
fees incurred primarily for mediation with Epstein's survivors, that the
45:20
government has thus far declined to pay, according to court records.
45:24
Oh the government not paying its bills, whoud a thought.
45:27
In a statement to ABC News, George declined to comment
45:30
on the status of negotiations, but said the government is determined,
45:34
among other things, to address tax benefits that Epstein fraudently
45:38
obtained from the government and people of the Virgin Islands,
45:42
and to protect assets for Epstein survivors who may want
45:46
who may not have resolved their civil claims. Yeah, let's
45:49
just throw that in there as a little bonus, right,
45:51
make me look a little bit better. We know it's
45:53
not about the survivors, Denise George, just be real. I'd
45:56
respect that more if she just come out and say,
45:58
what's what I really want to make things right down
46:01
in the Virgin Islands. Why don't you go after the
46:03
people who helped Epstein facilitate all of this. Is anybody
46:07
gonna get arrested? I mean, come on, man. Georgia's statement
46:13
noted that the estate has also refused to disclose the
46:16
details of several trusts established by Epstein, including the nineteen
46:20
fifty three trust, the sole entity listed in Epstein's last
46:24
will and testament. The beneficiaries of that trust have not
46:28
been publicly disclosed. Boy, I can't wait to see that.
46:32
I cannot wait to see who is on that list.
46:35
These concerns, along with the alleged conduct of the co
46:38
executors and facilitating Epstein's conduct, including through marriages allegedly forced
46:44
upon his survivors, raised significant concerns about the appropriateness of
46:48
their management of the estate. George wrote, Yeah, no shit,
46:52
I could have told you that from the beginning that
46:53
this was a bad idea. Given the reported progress in
47:01
settlement talks, Willox placed the case on hold for at
47:04
least ninety days to allow for the parties to try
47:07
to reach a negotiated resolution. He set a hearing for
47:10
early May on the dispute over the legal fees. Weinstein, however,
47:15
predicted that the case could be resolved without the need
47:18
to be in court again. Of course it could be.
47:20
That's the point. That's the point. Denise George wanted to
47:22
flex and get some do here, and now she's backed
47:24
these dudes into a corner and they're like, you know what,
47:27
let's just pay Let's just pay it out and be
47:28
done with it. The case is unbelievably close to resolution,
47:32
he told the judge. I think if the parties focus
47:35
on that effort, this will be done and you probably
47:38
won't see us again unless they don't pay our fees
47:41
and our expenses. That's the only reason we're going to
47:44
be before you, all right, So look, here's the deal.
47:48
We don't know which way this is going to go
47:50
down in the Virgin Islands yet, right, still a lot
47:52
more to be revealed. But one thing I will tell
47:56
you is it's rather obvious, at least to me, that
47:59
Denise Jorge or just not really too interested in justice here.
48:02
She's only interested in securing some funds. She's only interested
48:06
in getting her taste for quote unquote the Virgin Islands.
48:10
And for me, that's just ridiculous. The idea as an
48:13
attorney general should be to get justice, to indict these
48:17
people and put them in prison, not to be engaged
48:21
in this civil suit and grand standing with all of
48:24
these subpoenas. So you just sent all of that stuff
48:26
out for what to press these guys, and you'd have
48:29
no intention to follow through with any of it. Let's
48:32
see a nice, hearty, robust investigation into all of these
48:37
people and their finances. Boy, wouldn't that be nice? All right, folks,
48:43
That is going to do it for the morning update.
