- 0:05Speaker 1: Let's get into AI agents and today we're going to
- 0:08Speaker 1: be talking a little bit more about the XRP ecosystem,
- 0:10Speaker 1: what it looks like.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I think you guys will love it.
- 0:12Speaker 1: My name is Welbarah will come back in the tech path.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I do want to think our sponsored today and that
- 0:16Speaker 1: is Uphold, another place that you can hold your XRP tokens.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Just go over to Uphold.
- 0:21Speaker 1: One of the best places and I think easiest places
- 0:24Speaker 1: to get if you're brand new to crypto to get started.
- 0:26Speaker 2: So check it out uphold dot com.
- 0:28Speaker 1: You guys can go out there and learn a lot more,
- 0:30Speaker 1: earn a little bit of your money on their USD balance,
- 0:33Speaker 1: but you also can earn some yield on rl USD.
- 0:36Speaker 1: So some very unique components there with Uphold. Check it
- 0:40Speaker 1: out using an art link down below. It does give
- 0:42Speaker 1: you some special offers. Let's go into it today. I
- 0:45Speaker 1: want to of course bring on our guests and this
- 0:46Speaker 1: is Shn Morcombe who is the CEO of Genie Games.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You might know it is Zartman. So great to have
- 0:51Speaker 2: you on the show. Shn. How are you, thanks, Paul.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm doing well.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Thanks, How are you excellent? Doing fine?
- 0:57Speaker 1: So we're going to dive in a little bit deep
- 0:59Speaker 1: first fall. You guys of course launched. I think most
- 1:02Speaker 1: people will probably recognize Zerpman as you know, if you're
- 1:06Speaker 1: in the XRP ecosystem, you probably already know this. But
- 1:09Speaker 1: also within Web three, our Gen three games you've got
- 1:12Speaker 1: in the trade Versus is kind of the Magic EATN
- 1:15Speaker 1: alternative and then also Untamed Aisle, so a lot of
- 1:18Speaker 1: new products within it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: With what you guys are.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Doing, first of all, why you know, especially with the
- 1:24Speaker 1: Ontai Miles scene we'll talk about in a second, but
- 1:26Speaker 1: give us kind of a rundown on what you guys
- 1:28Speaker 1: are doing.
- 1:29Speaker 3: We started in twenty twenty one when there was the
- 1:31Speaker 3: first amendment for NFTs on the xp ledger, and we
- 1:34Speaker 3: saw a lot of value in utilizing NFTs and on
- 1:38Speaker 3: chain tokens on the xop Ledger. And we've also had
- 1:41Speaker 3: a lot of support working alongside Ripple to empower these
- 1:45Speaker 3: these these games. You know, we've got a very global community.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Our second largest playbase is in Japan and Korea, and
- 1:54Speaker 3: we've seen a massive amount of on chain DApp participation
- 1:59Speaker 3: and token punchesipation and via gaming. I think the gamification
- 2:02Speaker 3: is an extremely powerful way to incentivize daily, active, unchain
- 2:07Speaker 3: participation rather than things like DeFi, which can often be
- 2:11Speaker 3: seen as sort of set and forget in a way.
- 2:14Speaker 3: So we try and embed gamification into everything that we build.
- 2:18Speaker 3: In the beginning of twenty twenty four, we started working
- 2:20Speaker 3: very closely with future Verse, which have the Route Network,
- 2:25Speaker 3: and we worked with them to build the premiere NFT
- 2:29Speaker 3: marketplace and native decks on their platform, and we've also
- 2:33Speaker 3: worked with them on taking on projects like Untamed Aisles,
- 2:37Speaker 3: which will be being launched on the Route network itself.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So you guys are been busy and you look at
- 2:43Speaker 1: the NFT collection. You can kind of go over here
- 2:46Speaker 1: to XRP cafe and there's theirmand right there. But one
- 2:49Speaker 1: thing that was kind of surprising to me is how
- 2:52Speaker 1: well the performance was, especially I mean, this being the
- 2:56Speaker 1: premiere NFT collection within the XRP ecosystem. How do you
- 3:00Speaker 1: think that was and how did it become so resilient
- 3:04Speaker 1: during the bear market.
- 3:05Speaker 2: What was the reason for that?
- 3:07Speaker 3: You know, personally, I come from background in game development
- 3:11Speaker 3: and game design, and you know, I attribute it to
- 3:14Speaker 3: the game being fun. It did not need NFTs, it
- 3:19Speaker 3: did not need tokens, but we were able to use
- 3:21Speaker 3: that to enhance the gameplay. We were able also we
- 3:25Speaker 3: released the game in a very early state and worked
- 3:27Speaker 3: alongside the community and community feedback. This was how we
- 3:32Speaker 3: were able to develop such a strong and loyal community.
- 3:35Speaker 3: And yeah, we zupmon has contributed to the largest amount
- 3:39Speaker 3: of secondary NFT sales during twenty twenty four and we're
- 3:44Speaker 3: really proud of how much the community has grown. And
- 3:48Speaker 3: also globally, I think with how big XP is over
- 3:51Speaker 3: there in places like Japan and Korea, it makes a
- 3:54Speaker 3: lot of sense for us to incentivize on chain xpl
- 3:57Speaker 3: participation via gamification as well.
- 4:00Speaker 1: This is a tweet you guys put out we think
- 4:02Speaker 1: put up entering the open Internet, you know agents now
- 4:06Speaker 1: that you'll be able to build and own. What does
- 4:08Speaker 1: that mean for you guys? Where do you think this
- 4:10Speaker 1: is going to help you?
- 4:12Speaker 3: As we've been working with us for over a year now,
- 4:15Speaker 3: we've actually been working using the non fungible intelligence palette
- 4:20Speaker 3: on the Route network already, which is the core, the
- 4:24Speaker 3: core aspect behind the new Think protocol. So we are
- 4:30Speaker 3: in our one of our new agent deploying platforms that
- 4:33Speaker 3: we're launching called Agent dot Run we are utilizing the
- 4:37Speaker 3: what is now known as the THINK protocol, but we're
- 4:40Speaker 3: really we're using the non fungible intelligence palette on the
- 4:44Speaker 3: Root network, and we're using that to give all agents
- 4:48Speaker 3: and tokens launched via the platform a genome and a matrix.
- 4:54Speaker 3: And this is fuch of us like to refer to
- 4:56Speaker 3: as the underlying DNA of agents and allow user to
- 5:00Speaker 3: interpret that data in different ways and change the emotional
- 5:03Speaker 3: and skill palette of these agents themselves. So the THINK
- 5:07Speaker 3: protocol is very powerful from the perspective that it can
- 5:11Speaker 3: sit underneath a lot of these acting open source agent
- 5:15Speaker 3: frameworks which are becoming extremely popular and use right now.
- 5:20Speaker 3: So just spent the last working with the new THINK
- 5:22Speaker 3: team and hy network and I think it's it's really
- 5:27Speaker 3: massive for the what was formerly the ASM protocol. I
- 5:30Speaker 3: think it's a really good step in the right direction
- 5:33Speaker 3: for the concept that they want this to become a
- 5:36Speaker 3: standard for the AI agent future. I think is definitely
- 5:41Speaker 3: a step in the right direction.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's really going to open up the opportunity for a
- 5:45Speaker 1: AI agents to be much more interactive, which I think
- 5:48Speaker 1: is one of the things that we're going to see
- 5:49Speaker 1: across a lot of different gaming opportunities here, especially in
- 5:54Speaker 1: twenty twenty five with AI agents becoming such a big deal.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So good move on you guys. You look beyond that
- 6:01Speaker 1: and you think about the other acquisition that you did
- 6:03Speaker 1: with Untamed Dials, you know, so there's a lot of
- 6:06Speaker 1: strategy that you guys have put together here, obviously in
- 6:09Speaker 1: line with Root.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Where is that going?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Can you kind of, you know, kind of weave through
- 6:15Speaker 1: to Untamed Dials, Why the acquisition, what it's going to
- 6:18Speaker 1: do for you guys.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Untamed Dials is a three D creature collecting style game,
- 6:23Speaker 3: originally a MMO. Let's help revive this game, launch it
- 6:27Speaker 3: on the Route network, and we can bring in both
- 6:29Speaker 3: our existing IP from zupmon, integrate that and also integrate
- 6:33Speaker 3: our existing and passionate community. So it was very natural
- 6:36Speaker 3: from that perspective. We're taking the IP which is right
- 6:40Speaker 3: now in the form of two D cards, and we're
- 6:42Speaker 3: building it into a fully three D game, which is
- 6:45Speaker 3: a extraction style creature collecting game, blending a few different
- 6:49Speaker 3: genres which we're all very passionate about. And again we're
- 6:53Speaker 3: taking the concept of we're building this out as a
- 6:55Speaker 3: game which could and we believe would be enjoyed if
- 6:59Speaker 3: it had no blockchain or crypto integration whatsoever. And then
- 7:03Speaker 3: we're using things like the Root network to enhance aspects
- 7:07Speaker 3: of it, such player ownership, monetizing rewards in eight secondary markets,
- 7:13Speaker 3: things like that. But it was a very natural fit
- 7:15Speaker 3: for us, and you know, using a variety of future
- 7:19Speaker 3: versus AI within the Gulf. Both from the development standpoint,
- 7:24Speaker 3: we're using things altered state AI for three D generation,
- 7:28Speaker 3: So it's a upful tool for us to take a
- 7:31Speaker 3: two D card image, run it through an altered state,
- 7:35Speaker 3: and we're able to generate three D asset, which is
- 7:39Speaker 3: not game ready hunt when it's generated. But integrating that
- 7:42Speaker 3: into the workflow of a three D designer will cut
- 7:45Speaker 3: down the time it takes for them to go from
- 7:49Speaker 3: a two D card to a three D asset by
- 7:52Speaker 3: you know, seventy five eighty percent. Yeah, there's a great
- 7:55Speaker 3: example of Aaron show the altered state tech. So it's
- 7:59Speaker 3: really you know, we also get to use some of
- 8:02Speaker 3: the we get to use things like think Protocol into
- 8:04Speaker 3: then integrating into the NPCs and the characters and impacting
- 8:08Speaker 3: game experience for the players itself, all into untamed aisles
- 8:12Speaker 3: which will be launched on the Route network later this year.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Is this something that would go you know, I guess
- 8:17Speaker 1: across all the ecosystem. Would this be on all of
- 8:21Speaker 1: the the NFTs? Is that that just seems like that's
- 8:26Speaker 1: a big project.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely. So, you know, initially we're able
- 8:33Speaker 3: to will be selecting like a sub set of will
- 8:36Speaker 3: be utilized in untamed aisles. But because we've got such
- 8:40Speaker 3: a backlog of IP with Sertmon, it means that we're
- 8:44Speaker 3: really we're able to add new content to untamed aisles
- 8:48Speaker 3: utilizing the existing IP and content we've created over the
- 8:52Speaker 3: last years. But before Future Verse acquired it, it was
- 8:55Speaker 3: actually in development for over two years and raised over
- 9:00Speaker 3: two million dollars in a kickstarter, and we've actually got
- 9:02Speaker 3: a massive pool of IP and content to both release
- 9:07Speaker 3: on launch of the game and post launch as well.
- 9:10Speaker 3: So we definitely will have to sort of pick and
- 9:13Speaker 3: choose a little bit at first. But the idea of
- 9:16Speaker 3: having something like Altered Stay is from a game developer standpoint,
- 9:20Speaker 3: like it's an insanely powerful tool that is cutting down,
- 9:25Speaker 3: you know, the time it takes to integrate these three
- 9:28Speaker 3: D assets and build these three D assets by seventy
- 9:30Speaker 3: five eighty percent, So it's it's yeah, it's a very
- 9:33Speaker 3: very powerful tool that I think as we see AI
- 9:36Speaker 3: evolve over time and improve, it will get better as
- 9:40Speaker 3: well and cut down more and more of the time
- 9:42Speaker 3: and the human interaction when it comes to world building,
- 9:46Speaker 3: asset building, all of that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So shin when you look at tokenized NPC's AI, NBC's
- 9:52Speaker 1: I just will play a little bit of video here
- 9:54Speaker 1: for it to give it kind of a showcase. But
- 9:57Speaker 1: is this something that you feel like is going to
- 9:59Speaker 1: happen soon? What's kind of the runway on this? Yeah?
- 10:03Speaker 3: So I mean personally, when we first interacted with chat GPT,
- 10:08Speaker 3: you know, two years ago, now, the first thing, Wow,
- 10:13Speaker 3: this is going to change the way that NPCs interact
- 10:18Speaker 3: with in game. So yeah, we we think it's it's
- 10:21Speaker 3: you know, insanely powerful, and we're very excited to be
- 10:25Speaker 3: building that already into our games and experiences because we
- 10:29Speaker 3: believe it will be one hundred percent the standard within games,
- 10:33Speaker 3: and you know, using things like think protocol and non
- 10:36Speaker 3: fungible intelligence, it allows us to easily integrate this into
- 10:41Speaker 3: into games.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Interesting, I want to go to a couple of clips
- 10:44Speaker 1: here because this will give us a little bit more
- 10:45Speaker 1: on kind of to where Niantic is going with Pokemon,
- 10:50Speaker 1: but also when you look at what they've been able
- 10:52Speaker 1: to do with AI agents as well.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Let's go to this first clip real quick.
- 10:56Speaker 4: If you can do a lot of things you want
- 10:58Speaker 4: to do through a voice interface, you don't necessary you
- 11:00Speaker 4: need to pull your phone out of your pocket and
- 11:01Speaker 4: stare at it. It's better and I think it's going
- 11:04Speaker 4: to be a driver for the adoption of things like
- 11:07Speaker 4: AR glasses, and you know, we're going to make games
- 11:10Speaker 4: that take advantage of those glasses and probably those AI interfaces.
- 11:13Speaker 4: In terms of the games themselves, you know, sky's a
- 11:16Speaker 4: limit there in terms of characters that are driven by AIS.
- 11:20Speaker 4: We've incorporated AI to one of our virtual pet games, Paradot,
- 11:23Speaker 4: where there's an ELM sitting behind the logic of what this.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Little animated cute character.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Is doing, which is kind of wild.
- 11:30Speaker 2: If there's this.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Brain driving its activities. You know, you think about the
- 11:34Speaker 4: roadblocks of the future, like if you want to build
- 11:36Speaker 4: an ar If we wanted to have an experience where
- 11:38Speaker 4: I could create a game in this room with characters
- 11:41Speaker 4: and interactions, you know, elemms and you know, are really
- 11:44Speaker 4: the glue and the enabler to allow a lot of
- 11:48Speaker 4: that to happen.
- 11:49Speaker 1: So that is the Niantic CEO. He's kind of given
- 11:52Speaker 1: the plan here, which is pretty exciting because I think
- 11:55Speaker 1: we're going to see more involvement here in the reveal
- 11:58Speaker 1: of the SDK. They're talking about AI agents and crypto.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Listen to this and then I want to get your
- 12:02Speaker 1: opinion on it.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Take a look. Can you show me the ticket price?
- 12:06Speaker 4: Of course, now let's just play the direction.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Mission accompanies.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Thank you, I'll give you the reward for COMPLETI.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So what we showed there was really kind of the
- 12:42Speaker 1: SDK in action, which is kind of cool when you
- 12:46Speaker 1: think about that, what Niantic has been able to do
- 12:49Speaker 1: and you look at Web three gaming and the opportunity
- 12:51Speaker 1: that exists out there. We laid out kind of a
- 12:55Speaker 1: framework so Web three Pokemon Go kind of scenario with
- 12:59Speaker 1: Zerpmond being you know, kind of leading there both on
- 13:02Speaker 1: NFT and game assets, the potential here of really kind
- 13:05Speaker 1: of forming what could be kind of a Web three
- 13:08Speaker 1: Pokemon Go. So especially if you look at the tools already,
- 13:12Speaker 1: McDonald's has shown brand partnerships in this very you know
- 13:15Speaker 1: kind of scenario. What about something like that in the
- 13:19Speaker 1: future for you guys, Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 3: One hundred. You know, I really believe that these AI
- 13:25Speaker 3: tools are empowering indie game development teams do more than
- 13:31Speaker 3: they could have imagined, you know, three four years ago, right,
- 13:35Speaker 3: I think we're about a massive influx of high quality
- 13:40Speaker 3: gaming experiences built by indie game dev teams. You know,
- 13:44Speaker 3: we've seen indie games struggle in the traditional market for
- 13:48Speaker 3: the last you know, five to ten years, income into
- 13:51Speaker 3: the big Triple A studios, and I truly think ABI
- 13:55Speaker 3: is changing that, right because that like an idea like
- 13:58Speaker 3: that for us to take the current game and put
- 14:02Speaker 3: it into a fully ar AI integrated Pokemon Go Go
- 14:08Speaker 3: style game. If you pitched that me three years ago,
- 14:11Speaker 3: I would have said, yeah, that sounds really awesome, but
- 14:14Speaker 3: we don't have the bandwidth to do something like that
- 14:16Speaker 3: as a small indie team. Now, using these sort of tools,
- 14:20Speaker 3: we can say, yes, you know, that is possible. That
- 14:23Speaker 3: is something that we can do. And because of the
- 14:25Speaker 3: people who we work with, because of the tech that's
- 14:27Speaker 3: being built right now, it empowers small indie game developer
- 14:31Speaker 3: teams like us, who focus on the game design elements
- 14:36Speaker 3: to really actually build out products like this. So I
- 14:39Speaker 3: think it's the most exciting time, you know, in history
- 14:45Speaker 3: to be a indie game developer team because the yeah,
- 14:49Speaker 3: the power that's in our hands you from this technology
- 14:53Speaker 3: is unseen in the game development world.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Well, and I think you hit it right there.
- 14:58Speaker 1: The interesting thing in our I'll talk about this in
- 15:00Speaker 1: a second with when we had Illuvium on the show
- 15:03Speaker 1: just the other day.
- 15:03Speaker 2: But to your point, you.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Know, two or three years ago, when a lot of
- 15:06Speaker 1: this was really developing, you guys were kind of setting
- 15:08Speaker 1: the groundwork for where you could be. Now the tech
- 15:11Speaker 1: is so much further advanced. I can only imagine one
- 15:14Speaker 1: another six to twelve months is going to look like
- 15:17Speaker 1: in terms of opportunities with tools that this could go into.
- 15:20Speaker 1: So when you look at that Shen and you think
- 15:22Speaker 1: about where Alluvium has been, I would say Alluvium has
- 15:27Speaker 1: one of the best ips out there in Web three,
- 15:31Speaker 1: just tremendous ip.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Why do you think you guys.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Would succeed where Alluvium has pretty much I would say
- 15:39Speaker 1: failed in the sense of if you look at the
- 15:41Speaker 1: evolution of where they've come from, why do you think
- 15:44Speaker 1: you guys will succeed I.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Think one of our strongest points as a team, and
- 15:50Speaker 3: one of the reasons why we built such a strong
- 15:52Speaker 3: community is we work very closely with the community during
- 15:57Speaker 3: the development period of our games and experiences, so we
- 16:04Speaker 3: use user feedback as the core sort of design framework.
- 16:11Speaker 3: We work very very closely with the community to build
- 16:13Speaker 3: out the features and functionality that they want to see.
- 16:16Speaker 3: And I think that revolves back to the idea of
- 16:19Speaker 3: the game needs to be genuinely fun at its core.
- 16:22Speaker 3: If you stripped away everything to do with blockchain, NFT's crypto,
- 16:27Speaker 3: the game needs to be fun. And if you have people,
- 16:30Speaker 3: a community of people who would come and play the game.
- 16:33Speaker 3: If none of that existed and none of that was
- 16:35Speaker 3: part of it, it still come and play that game,
- 16:40Speaker 3: You've got something good at winner there. And I believe
- 16:42Speaker 3: that that is what really helps set us apart from
- 16:45Speaker 3: others in the ecosystem.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Well, that's faster market, I mean, that's to me, that's
- 16:50Speaker 1: one of the key cornerstones of really good technology anyway,
- 16:54Speaker 1: is you do have to get you know, an MVP
- 16:56Speaker 1: out there as quick as you can, because you do
- 16:58Speaker 1: have to test it, especially when you have an ECO
- 17:00Speaker 1: is like what you guys have within that when.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Is the next Mint.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I'm looking at your website right now, what about the
- 17:07Speaker 1: next Mint? When would we see it?
- 17:11Speaker 3: It will be later this month. So usually Mint new
- 17:14Speaker 3: cards once a month. We provide new cards which players
- 17:17Speaker 3: can then buy at a primary sale for two hundred
- 17:21Speaker 3: XRP each and these usually sell out in ten to
- 17:25Speaker 3: fifteen minutes. Every time we had, you know, throughout last
- 17:28Speaker 3: year we had a lot of mints which sold out
- 17:31Speaker 3: within a minute or two and then users are able
- 17:35Speaker 3: to sell these on the secondary on any secondary market
- 17:39Speaker 3: on the XRPL and we alsoe set of Zertmon which
- 17:44Speaker 3: exists on the Route network, and we're also currently working
- 17:47Speaker 3: with Future Verse to build out and release the NFT
- 17:52Speaker 3: bridge between the XPL and the Root network. We work
- 17:55Speaker 3: closely with them for on the token bridge and out
- 17:59Speaker 3: in game token for zmon. ZRP was the first the
- 18:04Speaker 3: first non Future Verse or non XRP token that was
- 18:08Speaker 3: bridgable between the two networks, and ZME NFTs will also
- 18:12Speaker 3: be the first non Future Verse NFTs which are going
- 18:15Speaker 3: to be bridgeable between both networks as well, and we
- 18:18Speaker 3: really believe that is the future of the xop ecosystem.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Is assets which can throw flow freely between all of
- 18:26Speaker 3: the xp ecosystem and utilize the fits of e XRP
- 18:31Speaker 3: integrated network. You know, next month it should probably be live,
- 18:36Speaker 3: which is very very exciting for us.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yes, correct, Okay, all right, wow, that's pretty fast.
- 18:43Speaker 1: What about phantom wallet, any any movement there for potentially
- 18:47Speaker 1: being able to get these kinds of assets into something
- 18:49Speaker 1: like a phantom wallet.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I'm not too sure on that. We have been working
- 18:54Speaker 3: closely with gearan wallet though recently who they just read,
- 19:00Speaker 3: which integrates both the XPL and the route network, and
- 19:04Speaker 3: it's actually the only wallet outside of Future Paths which
- 19:08Speaker 3: lets you bridge XRP and Route directly within the wallet itself.
- 19:14Speaker 3: So we've been working closely with those guys to integrate
- 19:17Speaker 3: that into all of our platforms. And I love to
- 19:20Speaker 3: see mores becoming multi chain interoperable and allowing users to
- 19:30Speaker 3: easily move between the xop ecosystem. You know. I was
- 19:35Speaker 3: talking with with some of the DevRel guys that Ripple
- 19:38Speaker 3: just the other day about what we believe we'll be
- 19:40Speaker 3: seeing within the XRP ecosystem in twenty twenty five, and
- 19:45Speaker 3: my big thing is interoperability. We need to see more
- 19:49Speaker 3: interoperability for XOP assets within the entire XOP ecosystem. And
- 19:54Speaker 3: then you know, I think we're really headed towards you know,
- 19:58Speaker 3: a similar a similar thing to looking at like ethereum,
- 20:01Speaker 3: and you know all of the L twos, which every
- 20:05Speaker 3: single L two is bringing value back to eth right,
- 20:11Speaker 3: And it's the same way that all of these XOP
- 20:14Speaker 3: integrated ecosystems, which all have unique use cases route network,
- 20:19Speaker 3: EVM side chains are how all of these, as they
- 20:22Speaker 3: grow and gain adoption, come back to be fitting XRP.
- 20:26Speaker 3: And I think that that is and that's what that's
- 20:28Speaker 3: what everyone's looking for, right, So I'm very excited for
- 20:32Speaker 3: a year of more interoperability within the XOP.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Well, I think, yeah, I think just you know XRP ripple.
- 20:38Speaker 1: They've kind of had their hands full here for the
- 20:40Speaker 1: last few years, so I understand the devs and you
- 20:42Speaker 1: know where that's going. We've had the teams on here
- 20:44Speaker 1: to really kind of break down some of this. We
- 20:46Speaker 1: just had XRPL on just the other day.
- 20:48Speaker 2: But also ZERP.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I mean, you know you get a ZERP on really
- 20:51Speaker 1: right now. XP markets kind of one of the few
- 20:54Speaker 1: places where you can grab it. What about a coinbas listing,
- 20:58Speaker 1: you know, or a major exchange listing for on what's
- 21:00Speaker 1: that might look what would that look like? And is
- 21:03Speaker 1: it in the roadmap for this year?
- 21:04Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely en up for this year. I think that
- 21:10Speaker 3: the only issue with with pushing these these listings is
- 21:18Speaker 3: I have seen it have negative impacts on tokens. I
- 21:24Speaker 3: think that it's it's balance that is needed. I think
- 21:29Speaker 3: that one of the unfortunate things about the XPILL decks
- 21:33Speaker 3: is that it gets very segregated from a data perspective
- 21:37Speaker 3: from a lot of different platforms. For example like coin
- 21:39Speaker 3: get Go and coin market Cap, they'll only show an
- 21:41Speaker 3: XPILL token if it has a exchange listing, and it
- 21:45Speaker 3: will only show the data from exchange. Is not the
- 21:47Speaker 3: XPILL decks itself. Central exchange listings are awful, but for
- 21:52Speaker 3: me personally, I'm more excited to push the xrpl dex
- 21:57Speaker 3: integration from a data perspective into these different platforms. Something
- 22:03Speaker 3: which did happen recently is the integration of the xpial
- 22:06Speaker 3: decks into deck Screener, which is you know, really really
- 22:11Speaker 3: great and a really great step in the right direction.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I think we need to see the same thing happen
- 22:15Speaker 3: for the Root network and tokens on the Root network
- 22:18Speaker 3: as well. So yeah, I think we're definitely looking at
- 22:22Speaker 3: exchange listings, but also very passionate about the idea of
- 22:26Speaker 3: getting things like the native x uphild decks and the
- 22:28Speaker 3: native Root Network decks integrated into a lot more of
- 22:32Speaker 3: these platforms as possible, because I think that you know
- 22:36Speaker 3: me personally, I tend to avoid centralized exchanges, and I
- 22:41Speaker 3: think that.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I think though there's an argument for that, and I
- 22:43Speaker 1: think it's I understand what you're talking about, but I
- 22:46Speaker 1: think the scenario that the marketing play that that makes
- 22:49Speaker 1: for not only the community but just getting the brand
- 22:52Speaker 1: out there. The likelihood of trading happening over on those
- 22:55Speaker 1: is I would say very low, But accessibility changes the
- 22:58Speaker 1: dynamic of how projects can you know, kind of move
- 23:01Speaker 1: to next generation, especially if you think about r l
- 23:04Speaker 1: us D, because we're probably going to see Ripple USD
- 23:07Speaker 1: starting to play in as a trade pair, so that
- 23:10Speaker 1: in itself could be very interesting.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Very excited. Yeah, you're very excited for that, and I know,
- 23:15Speaker 3: for example, the Route Network is in the process of
- 23:18Speaker 3: integrating url USD as we speak as well, so that'll
- 23:20Speaker 3: be usable on the Route network very soon, which I
- 23:23Speaker 3: assume will become the top stable coin on.
- 23:26Speaker 2: That, no doubt. Yeah, yeah, no doubt.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Yeah all right, Shan, Hey, listen, I think you covered
- 23:32Speaker 1: a lot of your roadmap here. I was going to
- 23:34Speaker 1: ask you that, but I think you hit on all
- 23:35Speaker 1: the things on deadlines that we were looking at least
- 23:37Speaker 1: in Q one. So we'll definitely be following you out
- 23:40Speaker 1: on X and seeing what you guys are up to
- 23:43Speaker 1: over there. So thank you for jumping in on the
- 23:46Speaker 1: show today.
- 23:46Speaker 2: We appreciate it.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks, thanks so much, Paul. It's really been a
- 23:49Speaker 3: pleasure to chat and I look forward to chatting again soon.
