- 0:58Speaker 2: for you. We need to know what you're doing and
- 1:00Speaker 2: being so secretive.
- 1:01Speaker 4: I'm being secretive. You guys are just pressing too hard
- 1:05Speaker 4: about knowledge. That's not important. It's not necessary and I
- 1:09Speaker 4: don't need to share.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Don't look at me like that. I've done nothing wrong.

- 1:39Speaker 2: What the hell are you talking about? On the Alabama Show,
- 1:44Speaker 2: a woman released a swarm of bees on cops when
- 1:48Speaker 2: they tried to evict her.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Why this sounds like a bad TV show?
- 1:53Speaker 2: It is? This happened in twenty twenty two, but the
- 1:55Speaker 2: woman was just sentenced to six months in jail. She
- 1:58Speaker 2: released a swarm of bees on the cops while they
- 2:00Speaker 2: were trying to perform the eviction. This is the moment
- 2:05Speaker 2: that she tipped over the bees.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Why horrible, But in.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Front of an eviction that seems a little excessive. I
- 2:18Speaker 2: think everyone has to agree with us. Okay, are with
- 2:21Speaker 2: the police. She's going to end up going to jail.

- 4:00Speaker 1: There's three things you need to know you with the
- 4:02Speaker 1: Elemma saw.
- 4:03Speaker 2: The ag Gaston Motel is going to be closing for renovations,
- 4:08Speaker 2: so it's just a temporary closure. They're going to renovate
- 4:11Speaker 2: the nineteen fifty four wing and construction is going to
- 4:14Speaker 2: last about eighteen months. It's a four million dollar restoration.
- 4:17Speaker 2: They're going to recreate the famous war room. This is
- 4:20Speaker 2: a very famous motel in Birmingham. It has a history
- 4:23Speaker 2: with civil rights leaders, doctor Martin, Luther King Junior, Fred
- 4:27Speaker 2: Shuttlesworth and so many more. So this is going to
- 4:29Speaker 2: be awesome. Eighteen months will be able to go back
- 4:33Speaker 2: into the motel after the renovations. Summer of Live goes
- 4:37Speaker 2: live today. This is the thirty dollars ticket from Live
- 4:39Speaker 2: Nation for over four thousand summer shows. So tickets from
- 4:43Speaker 2: artists like five Seconds of Summer, Googoo Dolls, Luke, Brian
- 4:47Speaker 2: Rod Stewart, TLC. There's so many different artists. It goes
- 4:51Speaker 2: live at ten am today and then you can see
- 4:53Speaker 2: what all is available in your area at livenation dot com.
- 4:58Speaker 2: There's a new credit card scam, a fun one, no.
- 5:02Speaker 2: It's where people take your money called ghost tapping. It's
- 5:05Speaker 2: where it's thieves to use cheap card readers and they
- 5:08Speaker 2: bump into you, which triggers a wireless transaction. If you
- 5:11Speaker 2: have a tappable chip card or mobile wallet. They don't
- 5:14Speaker 2: even have to physically touch your back pocket or purse.
- 5:17Speaker 2: They just need to be close to you so this
- 5:19Speaker 2: can happen. It's more likely to happen in crowded spaces
- 5:23Speaker 2: like public transportation, concerts, or busy sidewalks. But you can
- 5:28Speaker 2: buy a is it a r FID or a r
- 5:31Speaker 2: FED blocking wallet?
- 5:33Speaker 3: I think they both want.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah, r FID a blocking wallet or phone case that
- 5:38Speaker 2: costs you about twenty bucks and that should protect you
- 5:40Speaker 2: for the scam because, especially if you're going to a
- 5:42Speaker 2: bunch of concerts this summer and people start bumping into you,
- 5:44Speaker 2: and if they have a cheap card reader in their pocket.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I would have never imagined this as a thing.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Yep, they're doing it now. That's three things you need
- 5:53Speaker 2: to know more at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 5:57Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on to me.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Good morning, Kayla. What's your issue for ask Alabama?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Is it okay for me to not want to live
- 6:05Speaker 5: with my boyfriend anymore but still date?
- 6:07Speaker 2: Oh boy? Uh, that's why we do ask Alabama. If
- 6:11Speaker 2: you ever have an issue, called the show, eight three
- 6:14Speaker 2: thirty five I Ymbama is the number. Why do you
- 6:16Speaker 2: want to move out from her boyfriend but still date him.
- 6:18Speaker 5: Well, I've been with him for two years and we've
- 6:21Speaker 5: lived together for the past year and a half. And
- 6:23Speaker 5: you know, when we first started dating, he was going
- 6:26Speaker 5: through this pretty big divorce. So we moved in together
- 6:28Speaker 5: and it was pretty quick. I don't like the apartment
- 6:31Speaker 5: we're living in, and we started looking for new places
- 6:34Speaker 5: to live, but we just can't agree on a place.
- 6:36Speaker 5: So instead of agreeing on anything, he just renewed the
- 6:39Speaker 5: lease on this apartment we're in without telling me. Oh no,
- 6:43Speaker 5: and I want to move out, and one of my
- 6:46Speaker 5: friends said she wants to be roommates with me until
- 6:48Speaker 5: my boyfriend and I are ready to find a house
- 6:50Speaker 5: together in the future. So I guess my question is,
- 6:53Speaker 5: can I move out and you know, still date him.
- 6:55Speaker 2: If you live with the girl and then she moved out,
- 6:58Speaker 2: would you still date her.
- 6:59Speaker 3: I don't think i'd could.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Because you're going backwards.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like you're regressing the relationships.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It's like hitting the reset button. Sometimes you gotta you
- 7:08Speaker 2: play video games, sometimes you gotta turn the game off
- 7:10Speaker 2: and turn it back on to make it work, right.
- 7:12Speaker 3: No, I only do that by force and I'm doing.
- 7:14Speaker 2: That right now. I mean, y'all moved in together at
- 7:18Speaker 2: six months he was going through a divorce. I don't
- 7:21Speaker 2: think that your boyfriend had enough time to reset in
- 7:25Speaker 2: between you and his ex wife.
- 7:27Speaker 5: I mean I did think about that. Yeah, I just
- 7:30Speaker 5: for me, it's less about, you know, the the divorce
- 7:34Speaker 5: and more about how I'm just not happy where we
- 7:37Speaker 5: live and how I feel like he didn't really like
- 7:39Speaker 5: speak to me before he just made this decision.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yeah, can we please talk about that? That's another red flag.
- 7:45Speaker 2: He renewed the least without telling you, girl. What imagine
- 7:49Speaker 2: marrying him and he makes big life decisions without telling you.
- 7:53Speaker 2: What if he goes and spends twenty thousand dollars on
- 7:55Speaker 2: something and doesn't ask you about it?
- 7:57Speaker 5: I mean, you know that thought didn't occur to me
- 8:00Speaker 5: until just now. Honestly, break up with them?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Really, I say, break up with them? Call the show?
- 8:06Speaker 2: Eight three three five I one and Bama is the number?
- 8:09Speaker 2: Have you ever lived with somebody and then decided to
- 8:12Speaker 2: move out from living with each other and still dated
- 8:15Speaker 2: and did it work? That's eight three three five oh
- 8:17Speaker 2: one two two six two.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show home on.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Dement Do you think it can work if you live
- 8:25Speaker 2: with somebody and then y'all decide to not live together anymore,
- 8:29Speaker 2: but still try to date because that's what Kayla wants
- 8:31Speaker 2: to do. Eight three three five A one Bama is
- 8:34Speaker 2: the number of producer Blake.
- 8:35Speaker 3: You say, no, uh huh, I don't think so at all.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I think maybe you need a reset button like some people.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Because Cayleb and her boyfriend moved in together after six months.
- 8:43Speaker 2: They didn't even go through the dating face, so maybe
- 8:46Speaker 2: they do. Philly on Facebook and you can always comment
- 8:50Speaker 2: on the Alabama Show says, what's the point of continuing
- 8:52Speaker 2: the relationship if she doesn't want to live with him anymore?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Most people date to find someone to marry. Unless you
- 8:58Speaker 2: want to marry them and live separately, what's the point?
- 9:00Speaker 2: Don't string them along. Although I know couples that are
- 9:03Speaker 2: married and they have separate houses and they're happy.
- 9:05Speaker 3: That's wild to me. I don't see a point of
- 9:07Speaker 3: even being married if you're not together.
- 9:09Speaker 2: They had to for work, but that it works and
- 9:11Speaker 2: they like it because they live in separate towns. It's
- 9:14Speaker 2: a couple that I know that lives here anyway. Do
- 9:16Speaker 2: you live separately from the person you've dated after you've
- 9:19Speaker 2: lived together, or if you're if you're married and you
- 9:22Speaker 2: live separately, please call the show because this is a
- 9:25Speaker 2: trend on TikTok too. Eight three three five O one
- 9:28Speaker 2: bama is the number that's eight three three five oh
- 9:30Speaker 2: one two two sixty two.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show. The following program
- 9:35Speaker 1: is on demand.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Eight three three five O one BAMA is the number
- 9:39Speaker 2: to call the show. Pat, good morning. Do you have
- 9:41Speaker 2: advice for Kayla who wants to move out from her
- 9:44Speaker 2: boyfriend's apartment but still date.
- 9:47Speaker 7: So, I've been in an eight year relationship. I lived
- 9:50Speaker 7: with him and his home at one point, and he
- 9:52Speaker 7: lived with me at my home at one point. Now
- 9:54Speaker 7: we've always had separate housing. When we throughout the eight
- 9:58Speaker 7: year relationship, he decided to move out of my place,
- 10:05Speaker 7: and when I had transitioned and moved into his house,
- 10:08Speaker 7: it was just like I couldn't take it, Like I
- 10:10Speaker 7: could not live there. We are still together currently living
- 10:13Speaker 7: in two separate homes.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It's just fine.
- 10:16Speaker 7: So like if we get into like little debates or disagreements,
- 10:20Speaker 7: is always good to be like, you know what I'm
- 10:23Speaker 7: going to remove myself from this situation. Let it come
- 10:26Speaker 7: down to go home and lay down.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I'm going home now, we're done.
- 10:30Speaker 7: I love that exactly.
- 10:32Speaker 2: That's the kind of marriage I won't.
- 10:35Speaker 7: I highly recommend it just for sanity reasons, but it's better,
- 10:39Speaker 7: you know. I feel like one person could be more
- 10:42Speaker 7: financially responsible than the other. And like you said, like
- 10:45Speaker 7: her husband or her boyfriend can make a dramatic decision
- 10:50Speaker 7: without letting her know, and it can impact her home,
- 10:53Speaker 7: her life, her future.
- 10:55Speaker 2: You know, that's great advice. Thank you for calling.
- 10:58Speaker 7: You're welcome. Thank you.
- 11:00Speaker 1: There's three things you need to know you with the
- 11:03Speaker 1: Alabama Shaw.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Today is another first a art weather day due to
- 11:06Speaker 2: another round of possible strong to severe storms tonight. So
- 11:10Speaker 2: storms are going to start in southwest Alabama after seven
- 11:14Speaker 2: pm and they'll move northeast through midnight, so they'll hit
- 11:18Speaker 2: us later in the night. The main concern is gusty winds, lightning,
- 11:21Speaker 2: and hail, so just be aware. Ariana Graande announced her
- 11:26Speaker 2: eighth studio album. It's going to be called Pedal. It's
- 11:29Speaker 2: going to drop July thirty. First. This is a big
- 11:32Speaker 2: deal because she had said in an interview last year
- 11:34Speaker 2: she wasn't going to do an any music for a
- 11:36Speaker 2: while and fans were really upset. So now we've got it.
- 11:39Speaker 2: She said. The release is something that's full of life
- 11:41Speaker 2: and growing through the cracks of something cold and challenging.
- 11:44Speaker 2: So I hope we get some emo music from Ariana Grande.
- 11:48Speaker 2: That'll be great. Here's an update on Shannon Elizabeth from
- 11:52Speaker 2: American Pie. Remember we did a story where she made OnlyFans.
- 11:56Speaker 3: Yes I do.
- 11:57Speaker 2: In her first week, she made I'll let you guess first.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Okay, four hundred and fifty three thousand dollars.
- 12:04Speaker 2: One point two million dollars. Okay, well, my bad in
- 12:07Speaker 2: one week. She started that page on April sixteenth, so
- 12:11Speaker 2: she is now officially a millionaire. She said she was
- 12:14Speaker 2: tired of working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the
- 12:17Speaker 2: narrative and outcome of her career. Bosses. If you are listening,
- 12:22Speaker 2: I may have a new side us. Oh my a
- 12:25Speaker 2: one point two million dollars in a week? Are you
- 12:27Speaker 2: freaking kidding me?
- 12:28Speaker 3: That is an insane number, especially for God.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Good for her. That's three things you need to know
- 12:35Speaker 2: more at the Alabama Show dot com.
- 12:38Speaker 1: You're listening to The Alabama Show on demand.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Eight three thirty five one Bama is the number to
- 12:43Speaker 2: call the show. Good morning, who's this good morning? This
- 12:47Speaker 2: is Victoria. I wanted to call with my goodness. Okay,
- 12:50Speaker 2: what's your good news? What's your goodneys? Victoria?
- 12:53Speaker 8: After being out of work sixth December, I actually would
- 12:57Speaker 8: for cool job, take the highest.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Pain too, thank you.
- 13:03Speaker 8: Yes. And this was after having an emotional breakdown and
- 13:07Speaker 8: quitting that job. And I haven't on cloud Man since then.
- 13:11Speaker 8: So if you are looking for a job and it's
- 13:14Speaker 8: been a terrible journey, do not feel up because it's coming.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You said you were gonna take the higher paying job.
- 13:23Speaker 8: I well I am, and it's actually it's so worth it.
- 13:27Speaker 8: It's a job that I've been waiting to hear from
- 13:29Speaker 8: for a while.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Does it pay you more than the job that you quit?
- 13:33Speaker 2: It absolutely does. Yeah, that is awesome. You know what,
- 13:37Speaker 2: let me give you. We're gonna give you a gift
- 13:40Speaker 2: card to Rock and Roll Sushi so you can go
- 13:42Speaker 2: take yourself out to dinner and celebrate. Okay, Oh my god,
- 13:45Speaker 2: I love y'all.
- 13:48Speaker 1: You were listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I need a I need some man explaining here.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I can do that. I'm very good at it.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I here and we'll see five one Bama is the number.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Call the show. That's eight three three, five one two
- 14:02Speaker 2: two sixty. By the way, thanks for listening to the
- 14:05Speaker 2: Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with producer Blake. I don't understand
- 14:08Speaker 2: men at all.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I sometimes do.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And here's the chronicles of what has happened in my
- 14:13Speaker 2: neighborhood this week. So my neighbor, I live in a
- 14:18Speaker 2: redneck neighborhood in the middle of nowhere. There's one neighbor
- 14:21Speaker 2: who's like the ring leader that's friends with everybody. We'll
- 14:24Speaker 2: call I don't want to give his real name. We'll
- 14:26Speaker 2: call him John No, I call him Si. He reminds
- 14:30Speaker 2: me of Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty. We'll call him Sigh. Okay.
- 14:34Speaker 2: He decided that he was going to drive his really
- 14:38Speaker 2: nice zero turn lawnmower up to the corner of my
- 14:42Speaker 2: property and cut the grass because I don't cut my
- 14:46Speaker 2: I own too much land and I don't cut the grass.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm a girl. I hate cutting grass and it's overgrown.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And he said, I'm going to ride up to your
- 14:54Speaker 2: yard and cut your grass because you've been hatching us chickens. Okay,
- 14:58Speaker 2: this is the most country sendence Imber and all. So
- 15:00Speaker 2: he did, yeah, And he gets to my corner lot
- 15:04Speaker 2: and he starts cutting the grass and he gets like
- 15:08Speaker 2: one row in and all of a sudden, the lawnmower
- 15:11Speaker 2: shuts off timing it stopped working. I think he blew
- 15:17Speaker 2: a belt or messed up a belt or whatever, and
- 15:19Speaker 2: he couldn't drive it anymore. So he's seeing it in
- 15:22Speaker 2: the corner lot and he's like scratching his head staring
- 15:25Speaker 2: at the lawnmower, trying to figure it out how he's
- 15:28Speaker 2: going to get it back to his house, which is
- 15:30Speaker 2: like four houses down. And so I said, and remind you,
- 15:35Speaker 2: we are all rednecks, and he is like Uncle Si
- 15:38Speaker 2: from Duck Dynasty. If you've ever watched Duck Dynasty, he
- 15:41Speaker 2: could be any of the guys from Duck Dynasty. Okay,
- 15:44Speaker 2: And I said, hey, he goes, I'm trying to figure out.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna have to get my tractor and
- 15:48Speaker 2: drag it back to the house. And I said, do
- 15:51Speaker 2: you want me to call John, who lives down the street,
- 15:55Speaker 2: which is another guy in the neighborhood that has a trailer.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Do you want me to call John to come help
- 15:59Speaker 2: you get your your lawnmower back home. Don't call him.
- 16:03Speaker 2: If I wanted to talk to him, I would call
- 16:05Speaker 2: him myself. I got this libula. He had a meltdown.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Are you not supposed to offer help to guys from
- 16:11Speaker 2: other guys?
- 16:12Speaker 6: No?
- 16:13Speaker 2: You never do that?
- 16:14Speaker 6: Why because I'm a man and I can do it
- 16:17Speaker 6: my dang self. Ain't not a Never in my life
- 16:21Speaker 6: have I ever been so offended by someone asking if
- 16:25Speaker 6: I can have another guy come help me.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I told his wife I offered to call one of
- 16:28Speaker 2: the other neighbors to help. She goes, oh, no, when
- 16:30Speaker 2: he's in the middle of doing something, you don't do that.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You just let him be and let him figure it out.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Why you haven't known this in your whole life?
- 16:36Speaker 2: Now, this is why I'm still single. Apparently, I'm sorry
- 16:39Speaker 2: to see the reason. Don't you don't ever do that.
- 16:42Speaker 3: That's the worst thing you can do. It's like if
- 16:44Speaker 3: a woman says, do I look fat in this dress?
- 16:46Speaker 2: You know what?
- 16:47Speaker 6: The guy says, no, sweetie, even if she's getting a
- 16:49Speaker 6: few pounds.
- 16:50Speaker 3: You'd be nice and don't say nothing.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Call the show. Is your husband or boyfriend? Like this?
