- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven tor Boy, The Mark Simoon Show starts.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Now. Well, hey, it's Tuesday's a beautiful day's gonna be
- 0:14Speaker 2: near eighty degrees today. Spring is definitely here. We got
- 0:18Speaker 2: a lot to get to. We'll get to a President Trump, obviously,
- 0:22Speaker 2: we'll get to Iran. We'll get to hey, this is interesting.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Warren Buffett has broken up with Bill Gates. That's the
- 0:28Speaker 2: end of that friendship. We'll get to Bruce Blakeman. He's
- 0:31Speaker 2: making real progress and scaring the hell out of the
- 0:34Speaker 2: local campaign. We'll get to crazy mayor Mom. Donnie looking
- 0:39Speaker 2: at the at the President's schedule today, a lot of meetings,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and then tonight he's going to the Kennedy Center with
- 0:47Speaker 2: the Milannia. They're gonna go see the musical Chicago. Tonight's
- 0:50Speaker 2: opening night at the Kennedy Center. He will sit there
- 0:54Speaker 2: and watch that show. It's a great show, great music.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Although I remember years ago going to a couple of
- 1:00Speaker 2: Broadway musicals with Donald Trump at the time married to
- 1:04Speaker 2: Marlon Maples and sitting next to him and he, you know,
- 1:09Speaker 2: he's just like me when it comes to a Broadway musical.
- 1:11Speaker 2: They're great. But after about forty five minutes you're like
- 1:14Speaker 2: looking at your watch. How much longer is this? And
- 1:18Speaker 2: he turns to me and he said, how does anybody
- 1:21Speaker 2: sit through this? And does anybody really like this? For
- 1:23Speaker 2: two hours? And then we both turn and look and
- 1:25Speaker 2: there's Marla cheering and clapping, and so there are people
- 1:28Speaker 2: that love that stuff. But it's tough for him to
- 1:31Speaker 2: sit through that for two hours, but he'll do it.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The press will be there, of course, trying to get
- 1:37Speaker 2: a picture of him with his eyes closed, pretending he's
- 1:39Speaker 2: fallen asleep, although in this case he may have actually
- 1:41Speaker 2: fallen asleep. But it's a great, great musical. So let
- 1:46Speaker 2: me just explain something about President Trump for all you
- 1:49Speaker 2: Trump haters out there. You know, they call it Trump
- 1:51Speaker 2: derangement syndrome. And there's all these angry people just raging
- 1:57Speaker 2: on the CNN on MSNBC and then the low IQ
- 2:02Speaker 2: shows like The View and all that. He wakes up
- 2:06Speaker 2: every morning and thinks of how to make your heads explode,
- 2:12Speaker 2: how to rile you up. It's deliberate. I mean, most
- 2:14Speaker 2: of what he does is based on longtime principles and
- 2:17Speaker 2: what he thinks would be best for the country. But
- 2:20Speaker 2: he also really does sometimes sit there and think, what
- 2:23Speaker 2: could I do to really get them crazy, to really
- 2:26Speaker 2: rile them up, just drive them nuts, And then he'll
- 2:30Speaker 2: do something and just knee jerk Instantly you all start
- 2:35Speaker 2: screaming and yelling about this. And it's a brilliant strategy
- 2:40Speaker 2: because he's now he's got you battling him on an
- 2:42Speaker 2: issue he's chosen. So he'll choose something he wants to do,
- 2:48Speaker 2: like get rid of the Ayatola or whatever it is,
- 2:52Speaker 2: or you know, get all the illegal aliens, the criminal
- 2:55Speaker 2: ones off the street to port and you'll go nuts
- 2:57Speaker 2: and you'll start battling, and you don't realize he picked
- 3:01Speaker 2: the issue. He picked an eighty twenty issue where in
- 3:03Speaker 2: the end you're going to suffer with the public because
- 3:06Speaker 2: you're on the opposite side of them. So he does
- 3:09Speaker 2: that all the time. You know, like the Straits of
- 3:11Speaker 2: Hormoose has become even more important in the last week
- 3:14Speaker 2: than anything else in the war. And you've got all
- 3:17Speaker 2: the left wing of people on television screaming and yelling,
- 3:21Speaker 2: why is he going to get the Straits of Hormose open?
- 3:23Speaker 2: What if it wasn't the straights. First of all, it
- 3:25Speaker 2: has no effect on the United States we don't get
- 3:28Speaker 2: any oil from the Straits of horm Moose. Doesn't affect us. Now,
- 3:31Speaker 2: you may point out, yeah, but the price went up
- 3:33Speaker 2: to four dollars a gallon. Yeah, but the airlines are
- 3:35Speaker 2: now saying there's gonna be a fuel surcharge. Yeah, but
- 3:38Speaker 2: the price accrude in this country, all artificial, no reason
- 3:42Speaker 2: for it. We don't get any oil the Straits of Hormose.
- 3:45Speaker 2: It doesn't affect the US. Now, these oil companies and
- 3:48Speaker 2: these governments will continue to raise price of state governments,
- 3:51Speaker 2: local governments just because it's a good, perfect time to
- 3:54Speaker 2: cash in. But we don't get any oil from there.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It doesn't affect us. We're totally now, thanks to President
- 3:59Speaker 2: Trump first term, totally energy independent. We got more oil
- 4:03Speaker 2: than we need. We're actually exporting oil right now. And
- 4:07Speaker 2: the other thing to remember, Straits of horm Moose being closed.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You know who gets damaged the most by that, Iran.
- 4:15Speaker 2: That's how they make money selling oil, exporting oil. So
- 4:19Speaker 2: with the straits closed, they're the ones that suffer. It's
- 4:22Speaker 2: killing them, it's killing their economy. In fact, it's going
- 4:25Speaker 2: to collapse their economy. To keep the Straits of Hormose
- 4:29Speaker 2: closed it also kills their currency. It causes the tremendous
- 4:34Speaker 2: economic damage to the country. So it's really their problem. Now.
- 4:38Speaker 2: The other thing you'll hear from all these crazies is
- 4:40Speaker 2: why didn't they Why didn't they know that the straits
- 4:42Speaker 2: of Hormose we get closed. Why didn't they anticipate this?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Why didn't they? Now this is the dumbest criticism ever.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Of course, it was the first thing they anticipated for
- 4:53Speaker 2: two reasons. One, in every battle war every time in
- 4:56Speaker 2: the Middle East, Iraq War, Iran War, the tanker wars,
- 5:00Speaker 2: remember the Iraq, Iran War, Golf War, every war, the
- 5:04Speaker 2: straits of Hormus is immediately closed. That the first thing
- 5:06Speaker 2: that always happens. We know that also, you know you
- 5:09Speaker 2: always hear this with they don't have battle plans. They
- 5:11Speaker 2: didn't plan. There was no planning in this war. There
- 5:13Speaker 2: was not only the most detailed planning imaginable. It had
- 5:17Speaker 2: been taking place over the last forty years. For forty years,
- 5:21Speaker 2: the Pentagon has been planning war with Iraq. Forty years
- 5:27Speaker 2: of this planning and it's been updated every week. There's
- 5:30Speaker 2: forty years of planning a war with Iraq, and they've
- 5:33Speaker 2: been not only planning it. They've been testing it. They've
- 5:35Speaker 2: been doing you know, test runs, battle plans, tabletop exercises,
- 5:40Speaker 2: war games. In fact, there's a general who was in
- 5:44Speaker 2: on this planning. He's out of office. Night's retired, but he
- 5:47Speaker 2: was in on the planning of years ago, and he said,
- 5:50Speaker 2: according to all the planning we did and how it
- 5:51Speaker 2: would go, we're actually way ahead of schedule. It's going
- 5:55Speaker 2: much better than the planning ever indicated. So there's plenty
- 5:58Speaker 2: of planning, you know. And then you'll see the New
- 6:00Speaker 2: York Times yelling it's going to we have fifty thousand
- 6:03Speaker 2: troops there. This is unbelievab How did we end up
- 6:06Speaker 2: in it wearing a horrible situation? Fifty thousand troops are there? Now,
- 6:10Speaker 2: that's the New York Times trying to con the audience,
- 6:13Speaker 2: so they don't point out, before this war began, we
- 6:16Speaker 2: had forty thousand troops there, so it's not that much
- 6:18Speaker 2: of a difference. Forty thousand troops were stationed in the
- 6:21Speaker 2: region in the same place before the war started. So
- 6:26Speaker 2: don't get don't get conned by all of this fake news.
- 6:29Speaker 2: But there's a couple of things coming again. He wakes
- 6:34Speaker 2: up every morning and tries to think of how to
- 6:35Speaker 2: make your heads explode, you Trumpeters. But a couple of
- 6:39Speaker 2: things are coming that's really going to cause some problems.
- 6:43Speaker 2: One Governor DeSantis signed it yesterday. They want to rename
- 6:47Speaker 2: the Palm Beach Airport Trump International Airport. The governor signed
- 6:52Speaker 2: it last night in Florida. It will on July first,
- 6:55Speaker 2: the name will be changed to Trump International Airport. This
- 6:59Speaker 2: is going to make the left nuts. This is gonna
- 7:01Speaker 2: make Democrats who have to use that airport crazy. It's
- 7:05Speaker 2: not just Palm Beach. You know, if you live in
- 7:07Speaker 2: Boca Ratan or Fort Lauderdale or any of these other towns,
- 7:11Speaker 2: you use that airport because the other airports is just
- 7:14Speaker 2: a mess. The Palm Beach Airport smaller, easier, quicker. So
- 7:19Speaker 2: it's gonna be Trump International Airport's gonna be on the
- 7:22Speaker 2: sign everywhere you look. It's gonna say it on your ticket,
- 7:25Speaker 2: it's gonna say it on your baggage claim. It's gonna
- 7:27Speaker 2: drive the left insane. This will make them just crazed.
- 7:32Speaker 2: You know, they're gonna go to Democrats are gonna fly
- 7:35Speaker 2: to Florida for a vacation. They're gonna get off the airport,
- 7:38Speaker 2: see Trump's picture, his name everywhere. They're gonna see it
- 7:41Speaker 2: on their ticket, they're gonna see it on the baggage.
- 7:43Speaker 2: They're gonna go insane. They're gonna go insane. It's just
- 7:45Speaker 2: gonna rile them up. Now. The other thing, it just
- 7:48Speaker 2: got announced yesterday by Eric Trump, the Donald Trump Presidential Library.
- 7:54Speaker 2: The plans have been unveiled. It's gonna be in Miami.
- 7:58Speaker 2: We kind of suspected that. But it's gonna be an
- 8:01Speaker 2: enormous skyscraper. You see it online. But it's magnificent. It's
- 8:08Speaker 2: black and gold. It looks I don't know how many
- 8:10Speaker 2: story look an eighty story, ninety story skyscraper. No, this's
- 8:14Speaker 2: unusual presidential library. Of course, it's usually a building, not
- 8:18Speaker 2: a skyscraper. And it's just unbelievable the way it looks,
- 8:23Speaker 2: absolutely gleaming, magnificent. It'll be the absolute star of the
- 8:28Speaker 2: Miami skyline. And the left will go nuts and want
- 8:32Speaker 2: to spend a billion dollars. Again, it's not a building,
- 8:36Speaker 2: a simple building. It's a skyscraper. You know, real skyscrapers
- 8:40Speaker 2: costs that kind of money. The Trump organization will build it.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Nobody better at building those kind of buildings, and they're
- 8:46Speaker 2: going to raise the billion dollars. So you're going to
- 8:48Speaker 2: see the left go nuts, yelling and screaming and fighting
- 8:50Speaker 2: over this. It's not right now. I guess we should
- 8:55Speaker 2: be a little feel a little bad that it's not
- 8:57Speaker 2: in New York. President Trump, of course a New York guy,
- 9:01Speaker 2: a real New Yorker. Nobody more in New York than
- 9:04Speaker 2: a President Trump. And you kind of hoped it would
- 9:07Speaker 2: be here, somewhere in New York City because you know,
- 9:10Speaker 2: we'd love to have any said, we'd love to have
- 9:12Speaker 2: a presidential library. But where do you put it? It's
- 9:17Speaker 2: the problem with New York City really is where would
- 9:19Speaker 2: you put it? Would you make it a skyscraper somewhere?
- 9:21Speaker 2: And it's tough now. The other reason I have a
- 9:25Speaker 2: feeling deep down he still feels he's in New York
- 9:27Speaker 2: and would like to have it here, but he knows
- 9:30Speaker 2: you can't. He can't do it here because New York
- 9:32Speaker 2: is right now controlled by the crazy left city Council,
- 9:37Speaker 2: all the zoning boards, mayor governor, all these left wing
- 9:40Speaker 2: Trump hating kook's control new York. So if he tried
- 9:43Speaker 2: to build it here, they'd fight him at every turn,
- 9:46Speaker 2: he'd have nothing but red tape and hassles and blocking
- 9:49Speaker 2: everything he tried to do. So there's no point in
- 9:51Speaker 2: even trying to do it here. So he'll do it
- 9:54Speaker 2: in Miami where you got you know, Governor DeSantis and everybody, well,
- 9:59Speaker 2: you know, just make it easy for him to build
- 10:01Speaker 2: this thing. So it's going to be a magnificent presidential library.
- 10:04Speaker 2: At the same time, the Barack Obama Library is being
- 10:08Speaker 2: built outside of Chicago. Google a picture of it, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: you'll think it's a joke. It is considered by everybody
- 10:15Speaker 2: to be the single ugliest structure ever built anywhere in
- 10:18Speaker 2: the world. It looks like an absolute joke. Nobody can
- 10:22Speaker 2: believe this is really what he's building. But take a
- 10:24Speaker 2: look at the pictures the Obama Presidential Library. Even the
- 10:27Speaker 2: people that live in the surrounding neighborhoods are complaining like crazy,
- 10:31Speaker 2: it's such a hideous looking isore. So that will be
- 10:36Speaker 2: taking place, and then the Trump Library. The difference will
- 10:39Speaker 2: be staggering when you look at them. Hey, Bruce Blakeman,
- 10:44Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, Now you know, when he started to run
- 10:47Speaker 2: for governor, he's he'd be the perfect governor. Nobody better.
- 10:50Speaker 2: He's a governor. Now that's what a county executive is.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And he's been the best county executive in America. Turned
- 10:56Speaker 2: Nassau County into just a great place. I meant eight before.
- 11:00Speaker 2: But he's got the best crime record in America, kept
- 11:04Speaker 2: taxes down, and he'd be the perfect governor. But he's
- 11:08Speaker 2: a Republican and he's not that well known around the state.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So you know, when it first started, the polling showed
- 11:15Speaker 2: him twenty points behind. Well, he's Bruce Blakeman. When he
- 11:18Speaker 2: ran in Nassau County, same thing as Nasa County's, same
- 11:21Speaker 2: demographic makeup as New York State, mostly Democrat, he was
- 11:25Speaker 2: twenty points behind and he kept gaining and gaining and
- 11:29Speaker 2: gaining and gaining, and he won, and he won twice,
- 11:32Speaker 2: so expect the same thing to happen in New York State.
- 11:35Speaker 2: He was twenty points behind, Well, now it's eleven points
- 11:38Speaker 2: behind in the real polls. In even in the public
- 11:42Speaker 2: media fake polls, it's thirteen points pare. So he's gaining
- 11:46Speaker 2: fast on Kathy Hochel and she just keeps giving him ammunition.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You know, this stuff they do, the new taxes, new
- 11:55Speaker 2: property taxes, congestion pricing, now the estate tax. He just
- 12:00Speaker 2: gives Blakeman stuff to hit her on.
- 12:01Speaker 3: It's no longer affordable to live in New York, and
- 12:06Speaker 3: now under what they proposed, it won't even be affordable
- 12:10Speaker 3: to die in New York.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's absolutely insane. First of all, anybody that's in
- 12:15Speaker 2: your state, you already paid tax on when you earned it.
- 12:18Speaker 2: You paid all the tax on it. It's already been taxed. Now.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Even Mom Donnie's going nuts now because he you know,
- 12:25Speaker 2: if Blakeman gets in, he can keep control of Mom Donnie,
- 12:28Speaker 2: keep him under control. He can do stuff to straighten
- 12:32Speaker 2: out the crazy Mom Donnie stuff. So he's not too
- 12:34Speaker 2: happy about Blakeman.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Someone who looks at what Ice is doing and thinks
- 12:38Speaker 4: it's exactly what the city needs to see. In Nassau County,
- 12:41Speaker 4: his focus is on how to round up as many
- 12:43Speaker 4: people as possible and send them as far away as
- 12:45Speaker 4: he can.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Well, actually, if you look at what he did in
- 12:47Speaker 2: Nassau County, it's what you're supposed to do. Ice shows
- 12:51Speaker 2: up and says, we'd like to arrest. We've got a
- 12:52Speaker 2: list here of two hundred illegals who are dangerous criminals,
- 12:56Speaker 2: gang members, robbers, murderers, rapists. We'd like to arrest them all.
- 13:00Speaker 2: So Blakeman said, well, all right, how do we how
- 13:03Speaker 2: can we help? Well, we need offices, we need to
- 13:04Speaker 2: borrow some jail cells, we need to borrow some whatever.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Fully cooperated sign agreement, cooperate with ICE. That's we're supposed
- 13:11Speaker 2: to do. It's a big law enforcement agency supposed to
- 13:14Speaker 2: cooperate with them. And it was very good. They took
- 13:18Speaker 2: away a lot of criminals. That's one way he got
- 13:19Speaker 2: the crime way down. So they're going to go nuts
- 13:23Speaker 2: because but you know, you go all over New York
- 13:25Speaker 2: State that they kind of like the idea of getting
- 13:27Speaker 2: rid of all these illegals and these criminal illegal aliens.
- 13:30Speaker 2: So Blakeman got a good issue there.
- 13:33Speaker 3: We have deported two thousand illegal migrants with criminal records
- 13:36Speaker 3: from attempted murder to rape, to carjacking to drug dealing.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Where would they like us to put these two thousand
- 13:43Speaker 3: people back into the metropolitan area.
- 13:47Speaker 2: So I think Hoco kind of realizes you kind of
- 13:49Speaker 2: have a problem with this is they are in league together.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I know have Mom, Donnie and Hokeel. That's the problem.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Hokeel's got Mom, Donnie, you know, attached her.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Now together, I now affectionately call the governor Comrade Kathy.
- 14:04Speaker 3: She's lockstep with Ron Mundani.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she's got a problem. She had to go way
- 14:09Speaker 2: to the left to get the Mamdanni crowd on board.
- 14:13Speaker 2: But when it gets to the election, I'm gonna have
- 14:15Speaker 2: a problem. She's gonna have to scramble back to the center,
- 14:18Speaker 2: and I don't think she's gonna make it in time.
- 14:20Speaker 2: So hey, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, they became the
- 14:26Speaker 2: best of friends years ago. Remember there was pictures of
- 14:29Speaker 2: them everywhere, how close they got there. They are playing
- 14:32Speaker 2: bridge together, they're flying somewhere on his plane together, they're
- 14:35Speaker 2: having lunch together. Buffett and Bill Gates. Now, a lot
- 14:38Speaker 2: of people thought that wasn't the most real friendship. You know,
- 14:43Speaker 2: Buffett's a very honest, sincere, humble, real authentic guy. But
- 14:49Speaker 2: but he knows what's good publicity and all that. So
- 14:51Speaker 2: he attached himself. He played up that Bill Gates' friendship
- 14:55Speaker 2: a lot. And also he thought it brought him appeal
- 14:58Speaker 2: with a younger generation. Thought him of Bill Gates as
- 15:01Speaker 2: a guy who, you know, understood all the stuff he did.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Gates would a Buffett would tell you he didn't understand
- 15:08Speaker 2: all the digital tech stuff back then, so Gates was
- 15:11Speaker 2: a big help for him. But they became great friends,
- 15:13Speaker 2: always traveling together, spend a lot of time together. Buffett
- 15:17Speaker 2: put his money in the Gates Foundation, his billions, you know,
- 15:20Speaker 2: let them distribute it. It started to come apart a
- 15:26Speaker 2: while back, not that long ago. He took his money
- 15:28Speaker 2: out of the Gates Foundation because the Bill Gates Foundation
- 15:31Speaker 2: was always donating these crazy left wing things. And Buffett
- 15:35Speaker 2: is now revealed he does not talk to Bill Gates
- 15:37Speaker 2: anymore since the Epstein Files. Since the Epstein Files came out.
- 15:43Speaker 2: He's admitted now he cut off Bill Gates. They've not spoken.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And then somebody asked him yesterday, well why don't you
- 15:51Speaker 2: try to and he said, well, there's no point in
- 15:53Speaker 2: talking to him until he clears it up. Until it's
- 15:57Speaker 2: cleared up, well, you can read the Epstein files. Just
- 16:01Speaker 2: go to Epstein Files online. It's got a search bar
- 16:03Speaker 2: search Bill Gates and you can see he was really
- 16:06Speaker 2: tangled up with these women. Now, there's a lot of
- 16:08Speaker 2: people in the Epstein files that didn't do much of anything.
- 16:11Speaker 2: They came to a lunch at his house, or he
- 16:14Speaker 2: had a dinner party, they were there something like that,
- 16:16Speaker 2: or they had a business meeting. This is not Bill Gates.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Bill Gates. It was all women. It's all kinds of
- 16:22Speaker 2: dirty stuff. And so Buffett saw that, and Gates has
- 16:28Speaker 2: been cut off. Anyway, we'll get back to this and
- 16:31Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two
- 16:34Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 16:38Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wry.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:57Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Let's go to Berta and
- 17:00Speaker 2: Queens Roberta. How are you doing?
- 17:02Speaker 5: Yes, good morning, Mark, I hope you're okay. Let me check, yes, okay,
- 17:08Speaker 5: good So communist mom Donnie just having a meeting with
- 17:13Speaker 5: the anti American UN officials at the UN behind closed doors?
- 17:17Speaker 5: Is that good?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Yes, it's fine because the UN does absolutely nothing. It
- 17:23Speaker 2: has no actual function, It accomplishes nothing, does nothing. Perfect
- 17:27Speaker 2: for him to meet with. Let him sit behind closed
- 17:29Speaker 2: doors and discuss nothing and.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Still conspire against us.
- 17:34Speaker 2: They'll conspire against everybody. The good news with the UN,
- 17:36Speaker 2: they get absolutely nothing accomplished, nothing done. It's the worst run,
- 17:42Speaker 2: useless organization. It's a a VIP lounge for dictators. It's
- 17:46Speaker 2: over there on First Avenue tying up valuable waterfront land.
- 17:51Speaker 2: As Trump always said, should throw them out. Let them go,
- 17:54Speaker 2: you know, go upstate and put that thing up there,
- 17:57Speaker 2: and then take that land and build a million beauty
- 18:00Speaker 2: buildings there. If you ever been in the UN building,
- 18:02Speaker 2: it is the most decrepit, decaying, disgusting building you've ever seen.
- 18:07Speaker 2: They built it like in I think it was nineteen
- 18:10Speaker 2: forty eight and that was the last time they did
- 18:13Speaker 2: anything to the building. It's the most awful, decrepit building. Inside,
- 18:18Speaker 2: everything is peeling, crumbling, It's hideous inside. Let's go to
- 18:23Speaker 2: Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing pretty good?
- 18:26Speaker 6: Sitting in the sun, sitting by the pool, which was.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Good degree here in Sonny right now, So wow, that's
- 18:33Speaker 2: pretty awesome.
- 18:34Speaker 6: They want to tear down the UN and put the
- 18:36Speaker 6: Trump Presidential Library right there. Just had a whole building
- 18:39Speaker 6: gown and start over again. You know, last week you
- 18:41Speaker 6: were speaking about Jerry Garcia's guitar is selling for eleven
- 18:44Speaker 6: point six million dollars. The guy who built it actually
- 18:48Speaker 6: passed away last night. Doug Iwin and he built a
- 18:51Speaker 6: couple of Jerry's guitars. Some of them took six years
- 18:54Speaker 6: and two thousand hours to get everything exactly right. But
- 18:56Speaker 6: that guy's been a legend, and a lot of people
- 18:58Speaker 6: been trying to buy his guitars for I.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Know, I know, as you can imagine, I'm not a
- 19:03Speaker 2: grateful dead fan. I never you know, let me ask you,
- 19:07Speaker 2: Let me ask you.
- 19:08Speaker 6: I don't see anybody covering the guy who stole the
- 19:11Speaker 6: fob key to the voting machines of the West Palm
- 19:14Speaker 6: Beach trying to flip Trump's county blue. The evidentia that
- 19:18Speaker 6: they got this guy on a lot of things, and
- 19:20Speaker 6: he's got he had thousands of ballots that was stolen.
- 19:23Speaker 6: I mean, is that going to come out of us?
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. You know, let me ask you. Wait,
- 19:28Speaker 2: wait five or ten minutes. We're gonna have Howie car On.
- 19:31Speaker 2: He's an expert on what goes on in Palm Beach awesome,
- 19:34Speaker 2: and we'll ask him also. Uh, it was kind of
- 19:37Speaker 2: a shock in that a Democrat won the race in
- 19:41Speaker 2: Palm Beach congressional race, right in Trump's home county. How
- 19:44Speaker 2: did that happen? The Republicans usually went, Howie Carr will
- 19:47Speaker 2: be able to explain that to us. Coming up, Let's
- 19:49Speaker 2: go to Clarissa and Queens. Clarissa, how you doing.
- 19:53Speaker 7: Okay? How are you hart?
- 19:55Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 19:57Speaker 7: No, good? Yeah, I love your commentary on the Trump Library. Yes,
- 20:02Speaker 7: and I say, why just keep tormenting these poor people
- 20:07Speaker 7: and doing things like this. Let's just put him on
- 20:12Speaker 7: the presidential South Dakota. Let's put him up there with
- 20:18Speaker 7: all the other presidents, and let's get it over with.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't think it's actually it's a good idea.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I don't think they have room for another face on
- 20:26Speaker 2: Mount Rushmore. There's something with the I don't know the
- 20:28Speaker 2: rock or something. You can't carve another face there. But
- 20:32Speaker 2: knowing Trump, he'll find his own mountain somewhere. He'll buy
- 20:37Speaker 2: a mountain somewhere and put his face in Reagan's face
- 20:40Speaker 2: and a couple other faces up there. He'll create his
- 20:43Speaker 2: own Mount Rushmore when he leaves. Let's go to Amara
- 20:46Speaker 2: in Nevada.
- 20:47Speaker 8: Mara, how you doing good?
- 20:49Speaker 9: I'm talking to you. Chile, Vincent Mark a name from
- 20:52Speaker 9: the past. Looking down. I think he's in heaven and
- 20:55Speaker 9: he's saying I told you, I tried to warn you.
- 21:00Speaker 9: Now you have a communist mayor in New York City,
- 21:03Speaker 9: you have protein.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But who's looking down?
- 21:06Speaker 4: What?
- 21:07Speaker 2: Who's looking down?
- 21:08Speaker 9: I'm going to tell you.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Gotta tell us now because we're not going to be
- 21:11Speaker 2: on the phone.
- 21:11Speaker 9: And Joe McCarthy, Joe McCarthy, we screwed it up.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Well, that's a funny uh you know, it's this funny situation.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Joe McCarthy claimed they were communists everywhere, and he was
- 21:24Speaker 2: considered an evil, awful guy. How dare you say they
- 21:26Speaker 2: were communists? Are you know? Because if if they said
- 21:29Speaker 2: you were a communist, you got blackballed, you couldn't work
- 21:32Speaker 2: ever again in Hollywood or television. It's just the opposite.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You're a communist, you're immediately a hero, your biggest hero
- 21:39Speaker 2: in the world if you're in trouble, if you're not
- 21:41Speaker 2: a communist in Hollywood. Now, let's go to John and
- 21:44Speaker 2: Long Island. John, How you doing fine? I love your show.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I just want to make a comment on a Medicare skim.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I just got on the phone.
- 21:54Speaker 8: Yeah, where a guy calls you and they asks you
- 21:56Speaker 8: if you got your new Medicare card and I said no,
- 22:01Speaker 8: and he says, oh, well, we got to send you
- 22:03Speaker 8: the new Medicaid card. And he asks for my Medicare
- 22:08Speaker 8: card number.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Well, you sound like a smart guy, John, I'm sure
- 22:12Speaker 2: you know better. It didn't fool you, did it?
- 22:15Speaker 8: So No, it did not, but it might fool other people.
- 22:20Speaker 2: No, Yeah, that's the problem. Most people are pretty smart,
- 22:22Speaker 2: but you got older people who aren't used to the
- 22:24Speaker 2: texting and internet and all that. So you'll get these
- 22:27Speaker 2: things in the mail. Supposedly it's from the IRS. Supposedly
- 22:30Speaker 2: it's from the Motor Vehicle Department and they need your information.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Supposedly it's from the credit card. First of all, if
- 22:37Speaker 2: it's IRS, motor vehicle, anything with government, they will never
- 22:40Speaker 2: ever call you or text you ever. Ever. Ever, you'll
- 22:43Speaker 2: get a letter in the mail, they will not call
- 22:46Speaker 2: you or text you. The other thing is, even if
- 22:50Speaker 2: it's your credit card company, they will text you say
- 22:52Speaker 2: we found suspicious activity air card, but they'll say call us.
- 22:55Speaker 2: They will not discuss it by text. They'll make your
- 22:58Speaker 2: call and you can easily make sure you call him
- 23:00Speaker 2: the right number. Hey, when we come back, Howie Carr
- 23:03Speaker 2: will be with us next. Now we've got a lot
- 23:05Speaker 2: to talk to him about Trump stuff and why did
- 23:08Speaker 2: they lose that race in Palm Beach County. He can
- 23:10Speaker 2: explain it to us. We'll get that. Get to that
- 23:12Speaker 2: next on seven to ten wor.
- 23:15Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simone Show on seventeen WOR.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Well, Howie Carr is one of the best talk show
- 23:23Speaker 2: hosts in America. You said listen to him. You can
- 23:25Speaker 2: hear him on the iHeartRadio app. You can go to
- 23:28Speaker 2: hwicarsshow dot com. You can get his show as podcast.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Also best selling author his books are you'd love his books.
- 23:35Speaker 2: The latest one is called mass Corruption. Just go to Amazon.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You can get it there. You can get everything else
- 23:40Speaker 2: at Howiecarshow dot com. Howiecar How You doing very good?

- 23:48Speaker 4: Free shipping through Easter. We just got it back into stock,
- 23:51Speaker 4: so it's it's available again on the website. A lot
- 23:53Speaker 4: of good stuff on the website howicarshow dot com.
- 23:56Speaker 2: And while you're there, get his Kennedy books too. Their
- 23:59Speaker 2: great So Hey, first let me ask you some Palm
- 24:03Speaker 2: Beach questions. Not long ago. Recently, there was a local race,
- 24:07Speaker 2: the Republican loss, the Democrat won. This is unheard of
- 24:11Speaker 2: in Palm Beach County. White guy, How did this happen
- 24:13Speaker 2: in Trump's hometown? How did that happen? The Republican lost.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Well, there was a vacancy. The the previous occupant of
- 24:23Speaker 4: the office took a courthouse jobs. You know, in other words,
- 24:27Speaker 4: Florida is a lot like other states like New York
- 24:31Speaker 4: and Massachusetts. People always want to bail out to the courthouse,
- 24:34Speaker 4: and this guy did. So there was a vacancy and
- 24:37Speaker 4: two people ran, and the Democrat was you know named
- 24:41Speaker 4: they shared some name like Muffy Pepperidge, and you know
- 24:44Speaker 4: he hated Trump and the Republicans nominated a black business man,
- 24:49Speaker 4: so you know, he was he was. That was. It
- 24:53Speaker 4: was a tough tough thing in the in the beginning.
- 24:55Speaker 4: But you saw what happened right about the They had
- 24:59Speaker 4: a they had a poll worker, a poll worker who
- 25:03Speaker 4: is a Democrat with a record as long as his arm,
- 25:06Speaker 4: and he stole apparently one of the election apparatusus that
- 25:12Speaker 4: you know, one of these little things, and you know,
- 25:14Speaker 4: the the elections supervisor, who by the way, is a Democrat.
- 25:19Speaker 4: She said, oh no, no, nothing happened, Nothing could have happened.
- 25:22Speaker 4: That was just a you know, just a dummy document.
- 25:26Speaker 4: But you know, hey, it was eight hundred votes. It
- 25:29Speaker 4: was a very very close election, fifty one forty nine.
- 25:32Speaker 4: And you know, it's one of those things, Mark, you
- 25:34Speaker 4: know how it works. If the Republican Maples had had
- 25:38Speaker 4: won by one vote, there would have been nothing about
- 25:42Speaker 4: it except in the local paper. Maybe not even in
- 25:45Speaker 4: the local paper. But as it is, it's Trump is
- 25:49Speaker 4: rebuniated in his home town.
- 25:53Speaker 2: But that's the way they played it.
- 25:55Speaker 4: And I actually saw one one website said Trump loses
- 26:01Speaker 4: a special election in his congressional district. Congressional district. There
- 26:06Speaker 4: was a state reps district come on.
- 26:08Speaker 2: And it was extremely low turnout, right.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Uh, yeah, it was pretty it was pretty low turnout.
- 26:14Speaker 4: It wasn't it wasn't super low turnout. But you know,
- 26:17Speaker 4: the Republicans knew they had a problem, so they weren't
- 26:20Speaker 4: they losing everybody, all the all the Republican base with
- 26:23Speaker 4: people tried getting trying to get them to come out.
- 26:26Speaker 4: But actually we had a municipal election two weeks earlier
- 26:29Speaker 4: and that got a that got a higher turnout and
- 26:31Speaker 4: there and they were also poll workers for the municipal election.
- 26:33Speaker 4: These to uh, these two swells, uh, you know, wearing
- 26:37Speaker 4: both eyes, you know, campaigning to get on the town council.
- 26:41Speaker 4: You could you could they were both from Boston. I
- 26:44Speaker 4: don't have to do. I need to stay New Market,
- 26:46Speaker 4: you know. But they got a higher turnout with that,
- 26:49Speaker 4: and they spent a lot more money on that thing
- 26:51Speaker 4: than they did on the state reps race. But you know, look,
- 26:53Speaker 4: I you know, if you've seen what happened in New
- 26:55Speaker 4: York when they lost when you guys lost the state Senate,
- 26:58Speaker 4: or you've seen what happened in Massachusetts when you have
- 27:02Speaker 4: Democrats supermajority, you never want to lose a legislative seat,
- 27:07Speaker 4: no matter how minor you think it is. You know,
- 27:10Speaker 4: you've got to get out there and vote. I mean,
- 27:12Speaker 4: it's you know, it's you're only one election away from
- 27:16Speaker 4: from disaster, as you guys are finding out in New
- 27:18Speaker 4: York City.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Oh, Ali Carno. Another thing they're going to rename the
- 27:23Speaker 2: Palm Beach Airport Trump International. What how are Democrats supposed
- 27:27Speaker 2: to get to Florida? They're not going to land at
- 27:28Speaker 2: any airport called Trump International. What are they going to do?
- 27:33Speaker 4: They you know, it'll it'll take a while, but they've
- 27:36Speaker 4: gotten used to Reagan and International, right, so they can.
- 27:39Speaker 4: And you know, if you fly out to Vegas you
- 27:41Speaker 4: have to they don't they have the Harry Reader in
- 27:43Speaker 4: a national airport. That that would frost me if I
- 27:46Speaker 4: had to go if I don't land at Harry Reader
- 27:49Speaker 4: in a national airport. But hey, you get used to it.
- 27:52Speaker 4: It's it's it's better than you know, spending time in
- 27:56Speaker 4: New York City and getting mugged and uh, you know
- 27:59Speaker 4: and ropped and you know, uh shripped of all your
- 28:04Speaker 4: estate after your death by Mamdani and Hochel.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Hey, President Trump uh acters. Eric Trump announced yesterday the
- 28:11Speaker 2: plans for the Trump Presidential Library. It's going to be
- 28:14Speaker 2: a big, unbelievable skyscraper in Miami. Did that surprise you
- 28:19Speaker 2: that it's going to be in Miami. Wouldn't you think
- 28:21Speaker 2: it'd be in New York? No?
- 28:24Speaker 4: I don't think. I don't think so. I mean, he
- 28:26Speaker 4: is from New York, and he mentioned he still mentions
- 28:29Speaker 4: New York and being from there. But no, I mean,
- 28:32Speaker 4: why why go through all the crap of that, you know.
- 28:36Speaker 4: I mean again though he's got you know, one thing
- 28:39Speaker 4: about these recent presidents, he has such a low bar
- 28:42Speaker 4: to to go go over. I mean, this thing in
- 28:46Speaker 4: Chicago with Obama is just a complete fiasco. It looks
- 28:51Speaker 4: like it was designed you know in the Kim Junks, uh,
- 28:54Speaker 4: you know, the John School of Government, and it's North
- 28:58Speaker 4: Korean like, and the neighbors are suing and it's the
- 29:01Speaker 4: cost overruns. And you know what I love about the
- 29:04Speaker 4: you know, unlike unlike say that the Kennedy uh Study
- 29:10Speaker 4: Center for the Study of the Senate or the Obama Library.
- 29:13Speaker 4: They always say, oh, we'll pay for it our private donors.
- 29:15Speaker 4: They're they're so grateful for what Ted Kennedy or Barack
- 29:19Speaker 4: Obama did and then once they're once they're gone, Once
- 29:22Speaker 4: you're out, you're out, you know, and they these libs
- 29:25Speaker 4: don't have any sense of gratitude. But I guarantee you
- 29:28Speaker 4: the Trump's library will be uh, you know, taken care of.
- 29:31Speaker 4: It'll be like the ball room. It'll be taking private
- 29:34Speaker 4: donors will will will take care of this.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You know, It's funny the Biden Presidential Library doesn't exist,
- 29:40Speaker 2: no plans, no donors nothing. But you're right, they abandoned
- 29:45Speaker 2: him like crazy.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it's uh, you know, I mean I don't know.
- 29:50Speaker 4: There needs to be a place to stash his comic
- 29:53Speaker 4: books and his coloring books. You know he's got I
- 29:56Speaker 4: heard he's got a really good selection of you know,
- 29:59Speaker 4: DC CA from his from his youth back in the days,
- 30:03Speaker 4: back in the days before they even had Batman, it
- 30:05Speaker 4: was just Superman when he was collecting.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I see him more as a Beatle Bailey kind of
- 30:10Speaker 2: comic books or Blondie kind of comic books.
- 30:13Speaker 4: So, uh, maybe a little Lottiett.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah, So he tell us about mar A Lago. This
- 30:19Speaker 2: is like where the season winds down and when when
- 30:21Speaker 2: does it close for the year.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Is it Mother's Day it closes for the year. I
- 30:25Speaker 4: think on Mother's Day that's they that'll be the last day.
- 30:28Speaker 4: I mean it'll like the club will still be open
- 30:30Speaker 4: on the on the seaside, you know where you can
- 30:34Speaker 4: come in. But you know, the the the dinners and everything.
- 30:38Speaker 4: That's the that's the big thing, the dinners, you know,
- 30:41Speaker 4: And especially when when he's in town on on the
- 30:45Speaker 4: weekends and he and you know he hasn't he doesn't
- 30:47Speaker 4: come down every weekend, but he comes down most weekends
- 30:50Speaker 4: during this during the season, and then he he stops
- 30:53Speaker 4: by and and says hello, like last week, uh be
- 30:57Speaker 4: a Republican candidate for forgot in her Pennsylvania. She's a
- 31:02Speaker 4: she's pretty good, but she's a real underdoctor Shapiro and uh,
- 31:06Speaker 4: you know she she had a big fundraiser at mar
- 31:08Speaker 4: A Lago and it was Friday night and he wasn't
- 31:10Speaker 4: supposed to be there, but he just came in and
- 31:13Speaker 4: you can imagine, you know that that's that goose fundraising
- 31:17Speaker 4: for Her name is Guarrety. And you know, so he
- 31:20Speaker 4: comes in and he sees people and just hangs out
- 31:23Speaker 4: and then he and he plays golf and he usually
- 31:25Speaker 4: goes down to either to to one of his own
- 31:29Speaker 4: West Palm. That's what, you know, that's what That's what
- 31:31Speaker 4: the nut from North Carolina tried to shoot him and uh,
- 31:35Speaker 4: you know or only just you know, he hangs out.
- 31:38Speaker 4: I mean, he's it's I like having him around, and
- 31:41Speaker 4: you know, you can you see the little coast Guard boats.
- 31:44Speaker 4: I you know, I'm on the Inner Coastal Waterway Lake
- 31:46Speaker 4: wharth they call it, and I can and you know,
- 31:49Speaker 4: you see the orange Coast Guard boats with mounted machine guns.
- 31:52Speaker 4: You know, what they kind of look like is those
- 31:54Speaker 4: Iranian speedboats that that that they don't exist anymore, but
- 32:00Speaker 4: the used to exist sill about two weeks ago. They
- 32:03Speaker 4: look like those things. And they they come, they come
- 32:07Speaker 4: in and they they changed the shift at noon and
- 32:11Speaker 4: they go up to Riviera Beach where there's a Coast
- 32:13Speaker 4: Guard base. It's I mean, it's really it's really interesting
- 32:16Speaker 4: and it's yeah, it's just so it's so strange because
- 32:19Speaker 4: when I was a little, a tiny little boy, Jack
- 32:22Speaker 4: Kennedy was the president and he he lived up on
- 32:26Speaker 4: the other side of the island, on the north side
- 32:28Speaker 4: of the island. Nobody ever thought there'd be another there
- 32:31Speaker 4: would be another presidential winter white House. But now there
- 32:33Speaker 4: has been. Now there is. It's great, wonderful.
- 32:36Speaker 2: So when they closed mar Alaga, they close it to
- 32:38Speaker 2: like Halloween, like till October Halloween. What what do these
- 32:41Speaker 2: painted up old ladies do for six months that all
- 32:44Speaker 2: hang out at mari Alaga. Where do they go for
- 32:45Speaker 2: six months?
- 32:46Speaker 4: Well, I mean a lot of them go, you know,
- 32:48Speaker 4: they head north, they go to the Hampton, you know,
- 32:52Speaker 4: I mean, it's a few were you know, there's more
- 32:55Speaker 4: and more of a yearly presidence here. But you know,
- 32:58Speaker 4: like the country Club, Yeah, the club and in West
- 33:01Speaker 4: Palm is open. It's really a nice place, and it's
- 33:03Speaker 4: like a you know, one of the best golf courses
- 33:06Speaker 4: in Florida, and he's very proud of that. And you
- 33:11Speaker 4: know there's all the other the Everglades is still open.
- 33:14Speaker 4: The Breakers. You know, the Breakers used to be a
- 33:17Speaker 4: seasonal place, but it's it's open year round, and so
- 33:20Speaker 4: most of the places are open year Since air conditioning,
- 33:23Speaker 4: I mean, I know, I'm dating myself because that's been
- 33:25Speaker 4: like fifty years now, but since air conditioning came in, big,
- 33:29Speaker 4: you know, South Florida has just it's just gotten much bigger.
- 33:32Speaker 4: I mean it used to it used to just have
- 33:36Speaker 4: like a you know, a relative handful of congressman here,
- 33:40Speaker 4: and now it's like the third largest state in the country,
- 33:42Speaker 4: I believe, after California and Texas.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Palm Springs. Nobody lived in Palm Springs until air
- 33:48Speaker 2: conditioning was invented in the late forties. That's when the
- 33:51Speaker 2: first people started to live there.
- 33:52Speaker 4: So yeah, and you know they never had like central
- 33:56Speaker 4: a I like the Breakers were the Breakers was went
- 33:59Speaker 4: to Central Air in like the early nineteen seventies and
- 34:03Speaker 4: and now people, you know, I tell people what it
- 34:05Speaker 4: used to be like, and it's hard to it's hard
- 34:08Speaker 4: to imagine, but that's that's the way it was. I mean,
- 34:10Speaker 4: it costs millions of dollars, but they've they've made it

- 36:19Speaker 2: We'll get to Tiger Woods and all the latest on him.
- 36:23Speaker 2: We'll get to the Democrats. There's another guy that wants
- 36:26Speaker 2: to run. You know, the Democrats love to pick the
- 36:29Speaker 2: dumbest people that can find. I mean, there's some very
- 36:31Speaker 2: smart Democratic candidates, but sometimes they like to go with
- 36:34Speaker 2: the dumbest one. There's another guy with another really low
- 36:38Speaker 2: IQ guy that wants to run. And we're talking about
- 36:40Speaker 2: presidential libraries and the Trump Library. They're gonna raise a
- 36:45Speaker 2: billion dollars. The Obama Library, which it looks hideous, but
- 36:48Speaker 2: still they raised about nine hundred million. There's the Biden
- 36:52Speaker 2: Presidential Library. Well wait, let me take that back. There
- 36:55Speaker 2: isn't a Biden Presidential Library. There's really nothing going on
- 36:59Speaker 2: with that. They can't raise any money nothing, there's no donors.
- 37:03Speaker 2: He's totally forgotten about. They can't stand him, there's no
- 37:06Speaker 2: sentiment for him. They can't raise any money so far.
- 37:09Speaker 2: So it could be right now they're talking about, well
- 37:12Speaker 2: maybe they'll do it in a university or get them
- 37:15Speaker 2: to pay for it, something like that. But we got
- 37:17Speaker 2: a lot to get to in the next hour. Don't
- 37:18Speaker 2: away Mark Simone here every day ten to noon or
