Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Reality TV Criting. I'm Dahlia. I'm
- 0:10Speaker 1: one of your co hosts for this awesome recap show,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and I'm here with my real tight homegirl and my
- 0:16Speaker 1: daughter in law, the impeccably dressed, the intensely stylish be
- 0:22Speaker 1: a dress.
- 0:23Speaker 2: That's me.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Apparently we are here getting back into our Sister Wives. Honey, Yeah,
- 0:31Speaker 1: we are jumping. We are diving back into season seven.
- 0:34Speaker 1: This is the season of the Shark Tank. Yes, this
- 0:37Speaker 1: is the season of the My Sister Wives Closic Crash
- 0:42Speaker 1: and Burn. This is a season or two before the Catfish.
- 0:45Speaker 1: But things are starting to get a little spicy and
- 0:48Speaker 1: I'm loving it.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Oh me too.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Now, before we get into the episode, we do need
- 0:53Speaker 1: to warn you. Please, how do I and hide your kids?
- 0:58Speaker 1: This is an irreverent podcast in which we say stupid things.
- 1:03Speaker 1: We have a lot of bad words. We don't care
- 1:06Speaker 1: about anybody's opinion. Now, Beatrice tends to be very insulting. Wow,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and she doesn't really think about how other people might
- 1:14Speaker 1: feel about that. And so if you like me, are somebody.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Go crime me a river?
- 1:22Speaker 1: You might want to find yourself another dumpster. But if
- 1:26Speaker 1: you're ready to take another road trip with those crazy Browns.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Then welcome to this dumpster.

- 2:15Speaker 1: some of you have reached out via speak pipinge also
- 2:18Speaker 1: on our Instagram. About memberships on YouTube, I know a
- 2:22Speaker 1: lot of people do memberships, and we would do memberships,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but we do recap some Patreon where we watched the
- 2:31Speaker 1: whole show on me. We watched the entire thing and
- 2:34Speaker 1: we would absolutely one hundred percent be copyright struck if
- 2:39Speaker 1: we shared it via memberships on YouTube. So if you
- 2:41Speaker 1: want that extra content, which by the way, is Liddy Legatitty, Yeah,
- 2:45Speaker 1: it's Liddy leg Aditty, you got to go to Patreon
- 2:47Speaker 1: and you gotta watch it there, and it's the best
- 2:49Speaker 1: way to support us.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yeah, So thank you in fair thank you.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Okay, we're about to get into season seven, episode six,
- 2:59Speaker 1: where we're taking the long ass torturous coroad trip to
- 3:03Speaker 1: Missouri or whatever. But before we get into it, I
- 3:06Speaker 1: have to ask you if you have a takeaway, Beatrice.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Well, I guess my takeaway it might be a little
- 3:11Speaker 3: long winded. But Christine had made a comment about how
- 3:14Speaker 3: her older kids were not on the trip and therefore
- 3:18Speaker 3: couldn't help her parent her children because she can't parent
- 3:22Speaker 3: her own kids by herself.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Sorry, I just had nineteen children, but I can't possibly
- 3:26Speaker 1: parent them.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I need three of my other children to parent them
- 3:29Speaker 3: for me, and they didn't come. But I noticed that
- 3:33Speaker 3: Robin's nanny was there in the background, indeed, And so
- 3:36Speaker 3: I'm wondering now if that comment about her kids not
- 3:39Speaker 3: being there to help her out was like maybe a
- 3:41Speaker 3: little bit of a dig to Robin because Robin had
- 3:44Speaker 3: to bring her nanny there, and I'm like, why do
- 3:46Speaker 3: you have to bring the nanny though you got all
- 3:48Speaker 3: these other sister wives that could help.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You well, And they didn't frame it like she was
- 3:54Speaker 1: the nanny. This is Mindy. And I saw that, like
- 3:56Speaker 1: on the lower left hand side of the screen it
- 3:59Speaker 1: said in Robin's niece, as if it's Cody's niece. Yeah,
- 4:04Speaker 1: And it made me wonder too whether Mindy has already
- 4:06Speaker 1: been installed as the nanny in Robin's home. And it's
- 4:10Speaker 1: just weird to me that we get to see into
- 4:13Speaker 1: Janelle's home and Christine's home and sometimes Mary's home, but
- 4:17Speaker 1: like we never really know what's going on with Robin,
- 4:21Speaker 1: who's in the home, what are they doing?
- 4:24Speaker 3: But here's Mindy, I know, and she's on the trip
- 4:27Speaker 3: and I'm like, why, So she's staying in the hotel
- 4:29Speaker 3: room with you and your kids, Yes, taking care of
- 4:31Speaker 3: him while you and Cody go fuck in the shower. Yes,
- 4:34Speaker 3: Like that's what's happening. Gross.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Well, I have a takeaway as well, and in this
- 4:40Speaker 1: episode we see Robin lose her shit because it's cold. Yeah,
- 4:46Speaker 1: as if you can't look up the weather before you
- 4:49Speaker 1: take a road trip like the rest of us do,
- 4:52Speaker 1: as if you can't just pack a coat and be warm. No,
- 4:55Speaker 1: she gets upset. She uses vulgarity, which I don't think
- 4:59Speaker 1: is that's what Mormons are supposed to do. I don't
- 5:02Speaker 1: think it's in their Bible or whatever. But in the
- 5:04Speaker 1: same episode, we also see Garrison get upset at Isabelle
- 5:09Speaker 1: over something really little and he's a little pissed and
- 5:12Speaker 1: he acts out. He says something and Cody and the
- 5:15Speaker 1: rest of the family come down on Garrison like a
- 5:18Speaker 1: ton of bricks. But with Robin, we're just gonna laugh
- 5:22Speaker 1: it off, and it's just like, oh my god, I'm sorry,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I just don't like snow. But with Garrison, let's pile
- 5:28Speaker 1: on this young boy and make him feel like shit
- 5:30Speaker 1: through the whole episode, from the top of the episode
- 5:33Speaker 1: when they're leaving, all the way to the end of
- 5:35Speaker 1: the episode, Garrison was getting it.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah. It was actually really sad for me watching this
- 5:40Speaker 3: episode because I'm like, man, this is not aging well whatsoever,
- 5:44Speaker 3: and it sucks that this is like one of the
- 5:46Speaker 3: episodes that memorializes his memory, is his family just coming
- 5:51Speaker 3: down on him for having an attitude like a regular teenager.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I wonder why he has an attitude. It's not even
- 5:57Speaker 1: like regular teenager stuff. It's because he's part of a ha.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It's because he has one thousand other siblings. It's because
- 6:03Speaker 1: you are yet again making him go on this godfirst
- 6:06Speaker 1: saken road trip across America with all your crazy asses,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and you just want to have him sit there and
- 6:12Speaker 1: shut up. Kids don't do that, No, And when kids
- 6:15Speaker 1: express themselves, we don't jump all over them. I was
- 6:17Speaker 1: like pissed about it, me too. And here's Robin acting
- 6:21Speaker 1: like a complete see you next Tuesday for real.
- 6:23Speaker 2: As a grown adult.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But she gets a pass.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah right, because I like the snow.
- 6:27Speaker 1: She's mean.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I know, she's a big old bitch.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We kind of got a glimpse of her in this episode.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It was kind of interesting also when they were talking
- 6:34Speaker 1: about the shark tanks stuff. I saw her jaw. Did
- 6:36Speaker 1: you see her job?
- 6:37Speaker 3: It was hard?
- 6:37Speaker 1: It was real hard. It was a hard Easter Island job. Okay, sorry,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I told you, Irreverend Rude offensive. Without any further ado,
- 6:48Speaker 1: let's get into our Sister Wives rewind, where we go
- 6:52Speaker 1: back through the cash records of the Browns Season seven,
- 6:56Speaker 1: episode six.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Entitled four Wives and two RV's.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Right, because Mary and Robin get to stay at the hotel. Yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 1: they don't have to sleep with all those pesky children.
- 7:07Speaker 3: No, they just got to drive with them. And then
- 7:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna go hang out in the hotel and take
- 7:11Speaker 3: a real shower.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Bye.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Have fun.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Sucks to suck. But yet we have the family going
- 7:17Speaker 3: on another fucking road trip to Springfield, Missouri, all the
- 7:22Speaker 3: way from Las Vegas, which just sounds absolutely hellish and horrible.
- 7:27Speaker 3: I would never want to do this. You have all
- 7:29Speaker 3: of the kids like complaining about it, especially the older
- 7:31Speaker 3: ones because they're going on spring break. So of course,
- 7:34Speaker 3: none of the teenagers that would love to just be
- 7:37Speaker 3: out with their friends partying at the eye hoop or whatever. No,
- 7:41Speaker 3: they gotta go cram themselves into two RVs and drive
- 7:44Speaker 3: for four fucking days to Springfield, Missouri to meet these
- 7:48Speaker 3: booty ass polygamists that are not regular Mormon polygamists.
- 7:52Speaker 1: They're sexual devia. They're sexual literally sexual divia.
- 7:56Speaker 3: They're biblical polygamists, okay, aka the Garrick Maryfields Springfield misery.
- 8:02Speaker 3: And we're gonna go meet them for TV show content.
- 8:05Speaker 3: And we have everybody like packing everything up in the
- 8:08Speaker 3: cold a sack, and of course it's pandemonium and nobody
- 8:12Speaker 3: is prepared. Nobody's even fully packed. You have people packing
- 8:16Speaker 3: like the morning.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Of Mary's ready. Yeah, well, Mary's ready an hour early.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Because all Mary has to do is packed.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Sheep that shit going on, and nobody gives a fuck.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Nobody cares, just waiting alone in the could a sack, crying.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Pretty ready, and Cody's trotting around the cold a sack
- 8:33Speaker 3: getting pissed off at everybody for not being on time
- 8:35Speaker 3: and not being packed and not being ready, and he's like,
- 8:38Speaker 3: we're gonna leave at nine am sharp, and of course
- 8:41Speaker 3: they don't leave until like ten ten thirty.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Does nobody have pattern recognition? I mean, we've just been
- 8:49Speaker 1: hanging out with them for this is our seventh season
- 8:52Speaker 1: in the timeline, and we know that these road trips
- 8:56Speaker 1: never work out. Well. Remember when you all work fleeing
- 8:59Speaker 1: Utah and relocating to Vegas and you had nineteen flat
- 9:03Speaker 1: tires on the way. You were screaming and yelling at
- 9:05Speaker 1: each other, and then of course there was nouvu where
- 9:08Speaker 1: Mary had to plan out the entire thing and you
- 9:11Speaker 1: were always late, and it was always terrible yep. And
- 9:14Speaker 1: Cody was stomping around the entire time, verbally abusing his
- 9:18Speaker 1: children and wives.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yep.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And so we think this is gonna be a good time, yes,
- 9:23Speaker 1: for a spring break. It's gonna be great, and you
- 9:25Speaker 1: can't anticipate. Well, actually they do anticipate it, because Cody
- 9:28Speaker 1: says that anytime we do something like this, there's always
- 9:32Speaker 1: anxiety yep, because there's gonna be some drama, and so
- 9:36Speaker 1: we're trying to figure out how to like calm down
- 9:38Speaker 1: and just have a good time. Well, news flash, it
- 9:42Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen.
- 9:42Speaker 3: No, not at all, No, not at all.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Cody, You're gonna get sprayed with poop.
- 9:49Speaker 2: This is the best part. This is the best part.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I've been watching with you now for multiple years.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yep.
- 9:55Speaker 1: This is one of the best things I've ever seen.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I know, I'm telegraphing id. I'm just like, if ever
- 10:01Speaker 1: there was a man who deserved to be sprayed in
- 10:04Speaker 1: the face with fecal matter and urine liquid shit, Cody
- 10:09Speaker 1: Whin Brown.
- 10:10Speaker 3: It was awesome, Oliver show everything.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Thank you Jesus. Every once in a while, Jesus does
- 10:17Speaker 1: us as solid.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Yes, that was the best part of this whole episode. Seriously.
- 10:22Speaker 3: The next best part of this episode was the whole
- 10:24Speaker 3: family business meeting though, right before the road trip.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So while everybody's.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Packing and getting ready and ultimately going to be late
- 10:32Speaker 3: for this trip, they decide to take like a little
- 10:34Speaker 3: break and go have a business meeting at Mary's house
- 10:37Speaker 3: in her sad living room with her ugly cow.
- 10:39Speaker 1: There's a lot of space there.
- 10:41Speaker 2: There is a lot of space.
- 10:42Speaker 3: There's no people there because no one lives there. But
- 10:45Speaker 3: we're sitting in her booty ass living room with her
- 10:47Speaker 3: booty ass furniture.
- 10:48Speaker 1: From the consignments. Cody like it, so I bought this weird.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Couch that's totally financed on some credit card or whatever.
- 10:56Speaker 2: But their meeting to.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Talk about their last investors meeting, so to recap everybody,
- 11:02Speaker 3: when they had their little shark tank episode, I think
- 11:04Speaker 3: it was like a couple episodes before this one. The
- 11:07Speaker 3: investors said that they would give maybe two hundred and
- 11:10Speaker 3: fifty to five hundred thousand dollars. It was so good
- 11:15Speaker 3: within four to six weeks of their shark Tank meeting. Well,
- 11:18Speaker 3: but it's been eight weeks and they haven't gotten any money,
- 11:21Speaker 3: and so Robin's pissed off. She's mad, she's big.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Mad, she's entitled as well, and she's like, well, maybe
- 11:28Speaker 1: we should just go with somebody else. Who who you
- 11:31Speaker 1: gonna go with politically? Who's gonna invest in your rinky
- 11:34Speaker 1: dank little website where you sell polygamous jewelry for one
- 11:37Speaker 1: thousand dollars for like a little cheap ass silver chain.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Ain't no nobody, Ain't no one gonna invest in that.
- 11:44Speaker 3: And I do think it's hilarious that we had the
- 11:46Speaker 3: investors on tape being like, yeah, we're gonna give you
- 11:49Speaker 3: this money, and then.
- 11:49Speaker 2: They never fucking did, which is pretty great.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well, and you kind of knew it because they give
- 11:54Speaker 1: such a range of what they're going to invest. We're
- 11:57Speaker 1: gonna invest anywhere from to one hundred and fifty thousand
- 12:01Speaker 1: to five hundred thousand. That's a that's a lot, very
- 12:03Speaker 1: big range. And then we're gonna see like what the
- 12:06Speaker 1: business does, and we're gonna see whether we can invest
- 12:10Speaker 1: some more capital in your business. And then they're just
- 12:13Speaker 1: ghosting them. They are leaving the Browns on red. It's awesome,
- 12:17Speaker 1: And Robin just doesn't understand how this can possibly be.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You don't understand No, I had a burning bosom when
- 12:26Speaker 1: I stole that idea from the other website that sells
- 12:28Speaker 1: polygamous clothes and jewelry. I had a burning bosom that
- 12:32Speaker 1: this is how we're gonna save our family. You don't understand,
- 12:35Speaker 1: you don't get it. She's like lost in the sauce.
- 12:38Speaker 1: She is huffing her own farts. Nobody cares.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Robin's straight up. And when we were watching this like
- 12:44Speaker 3: little business meeting, I was thinking, like, Robin is so
- 12:48Speaker 3: tied to this. I don't even know if it's because
- 12:50Speaker 3: she believes in like the business itself, or if it's
- 12:52Speaker 3: she's tied into it because she wants the family to
- 12:55Speaker 3: think that she's useful, or that she's like doing something
- 12:58Speaker 3: productive other than stealing Cody away for midnight fucks or.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Whatever, sucking off the teeps of ELC.
- 13:06Speaker 3: That's exactly what it is, because otherwise, like, why is
- 13:08Speaker 3: she so tied to this? She seems so serious about
- 13:12Speaker 3: my sister wife's clauset.
- 13:13Speaker 1: She's got her notepad because I'm a businesswoman. I've dressed
- 13:16Speaker 1: for this right meeting in Mary's living room. Yeah, it's ridiculous.
- 13:21Speaker 3: I feel like it's just a ploy for Robin to
- 13:23Speaker 3: be like, no, but like, I do contribute to the
- 13:25Speaker 3: family because I have a business idea. We're going to
- 13:27Speaker 3: be very, very successful with it.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And the thing is is that she's picking up on something,
- 13:32Speaker 1: but she's too dumb to understand how to execute it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And the something she's picking up on is the fact
- 13:37Speaker 1: that millions of people are watching her show. Yeah, and
- 13:41Speaker 1: there's gotta be a way that we can monetize this
- 13:43Speaker 1: for our benefit, like Bethany Frankel with her skinny Mark
- 13:46Speaker 1: Rita right, and all the other businesses that have come
- 13:49Speaker 1: out of reality television, like, we ought to be able
- 13:53Speaker 1: to do the same thing. But her ideas and her
- 13:55Speaker 1: creativity is so nonexistent that she doesn't understand why it's
- 14:00Speaker 1: not working. Why wouldn't anyone want to invest in this?
- 14:03Speaker 1: Christine doesn't even show up for this meeting. She's like,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I got kids, I got my parentified children unwilling to
- 14:10Speaker 1: help me. So y'all have your meeting. I'm out.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I love that because if I was, if I was
- 14:14Speaker 3: in this family, I'd be like Christine, I'd be like.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm not showing up to that stupid ass for what what?
- 14:19Speaker 3: What are we going to talk about nothing obviously, and
- 14:24Speaker 3: even Mary's like disinterested. Janelle is just there.
- 14:27Speaker 1: To tell nothing. She's coming from. She's embarrassed that they
- 14:30Speaker 1: had to do that in the first place. How did
- 14:32Speaker 1: they leave it though? Are they just going to follow
- 14:34Speaker 1: up with the investors who have ghosted them, or they're
- 14:38Speaker 1: just going to wait to see what happens.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I think they're gonna like wait to see what happens,
- 14:42Speaker 3: because I think there's another Shark Tank episode or another
- 14:45Speaker 3: like Pitch episode where they're trying to get more money.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Because my sister's closet's still it's still a thing. It's
- 14:52Speaker 3: gonna be a thing for a couple seasons.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Well, Robin in our current You're of Our Lord twenty
- 14:56Speaker 1: twenty six is still trying to pretend that my sister
- 14:59Speaker 1: wive's it is a thing.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Definitely, So they're just going to keep it around, keep
- 15:03Speaker 3: paying those yearly LLC funds and fees and everything, just
- 15:08Speaker 3: to pretend like they still have a business and pretend
- 15:11Speaker 3: like they're still working on something. But it's a complete failure.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Well, and I don't know if you guys remember our
- 15:18Speaker 1: coverage of this many months ago, when we were doing
- 15:21Speaker 1: the recaps of this season. But what I had said
- 15:26Speaker 1: at the time, I just want to say again, it's like,
- 15:28Speaker 1: this is all as a business person, this is all
- 15:31Speaker 1: really good information. When you've got investors saying, okay, but
- 15:35Speaker 1: you have all of these hits on your website, millions
- 15:38Speaker 1: of people coming to look at it, but you don't
- 15:40Speaker 1: have anybody buying your stuff. That is information that you
- 15:43Speaker 1: could then take make some changes and then try to
- 15:47Speaker 1: see what you can do with what you've got. But
- 15:49Speaker 1: what they decided to do was just ramp up production.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Do you remember. Yes, they're just like, Okay, we're not
- 15:54Speaker 1: going to change what we're doing or our offerings or
- 15:57Speaker 1: or idea. We're just going to make three times more
- 15:59Speaker 1: of it and I'm sure it's gonna sell.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Yep.
- 16:01Speaker 1: This is how dumb these people are.
- 16:03Speaker 3: They are so fucking it's really great. Honestly, it's like
- 16:06Speaker 3: a train wreck that you just can't take your eyes off.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And she's taking it so personal. Oh yeah, which I.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Love I love it so much. And so after the
- 16:14Speaker 3: stupid business meeting, then we have everybody getting ready to
- 16:18Speaker 3: leave on their first leg for the RV trip. So
- 16:21Speaker 3: they're going to be driving from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Holbrook, Arizona,
- 16:25Speaker 3: which I looked it up on the Google Maps. It's
- 16:27Speaker 3: only like a five hour drives that.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Should be an easy, breezy day trip.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Like maybe one stop total, get there in one thing,
- 16:35Speaker 3: but no, they take fuck it all damn day to
- 16:39Speaker 3: get to this place. On their first leg of the trip,
- 16:42Speaker 3: we have everybody in the cul de Sac freaking out
- 16:44Speaker 3: because they're trying to leave on time, and they shock
- 16:47Speaker 3: her don't leave on time. They leave like an hour late.
- 16:50Speaker 3: The older teenagers are kind of annoyed by it, but
- 16:53Speaker 3: this is what to expect in this family because they
- 16:55Speaker 3: never leave on time for nothing.
- 16:57Speaker 1: And Cody just gets progressively more aggressive, and we have
- 17:01Speaker 1: like the first scene with Garrison well where he's telling
- 17:04Speaker 1: Garrison to adjust his attitude and just be in a
- 17:07Speaker 1: good mood. We're trying to have some fun here and
- 17:10Speaker 1: just do everything I'm telling you to do as I
- 17:12Speaker 1: micromanage your existence. And Garrison says something. Cody refers to
- 17:17Speaker 1: himself as like a general. Yep, and Garrison says something like, well,
- 17:20Speaker 1: in the Russian Revolution, the soldiers killed all the generals.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's like perfect exactly. Cody just walks so great.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he just ignores him, and then on the couch,
- 17:32Speaker 3: Cody goes on this stupid rant about how the teenagers
- 17:36Speaker 3: really make or break a trip and so if they
- 17:38Speaker 3: have piss poor attitudes, they're going to ruin the whole
- 17:41Speaker 3: entire trip for the entire family. And I'm like, oh,
- 17:43Speaker 3: that's great way to put all of that pressure on
- 17:45Speaker 3: these hormonal teenagers that can't really control their emotions and
- 17:49Speaker 3: are already annoyed by having to spend four days in
- 17:52Speaker 3: an RV with you too, that you're.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Also categorically exploiting on this show that they do not
- 17:57Speaker 1: want to be on.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Exactly, like, okay, whatever they make or break the trip,
- 18:01Speaker 3: not you and your shitty attitude code, but whatever. So
- 18:05Speaker 3: they leave late, and so they're on the road and
- 18:08Speaker 3: they're driving on Route sixty six because they think it's
- 18:11Speaker 3: cool and historic and iconic because it's the first highway
- 18:15Speaker 3: in the United States or whatever. And then they go
- 18:17Speaker 3: to Winslow, Arizona, which is like northern Arizona, and they
- 18:20Speaker 3: stop at some like signpost or whatever.
- 18:24Speaker 1: It was like a corner of Winslow, Arizona. I got
- 18:27Speaker 1: seven women on my mind, two that want of something,
- 18:32Speaker 1: four that one or something and the other is a
- 18:35Speaker 1: friend of that. So take itzy. You don't know the song? No,
- 18:40Speaker 1: take it? What I don't know?
- 18:42Speaker 3: I'm young, I'm hip, but it's everybody knows that song.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I know.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I'm just kidding you. Never you know it. You don't
- 18:48Speaker 1: know it?
- 18:48Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That's okay if you don't know it. I'm just shocked.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know it.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I think if you heard it, you'd know it. But
- 18:53Speaker 1: probably they want to go stand on the corner in Winslow,
- 18:57Speaker 1: Arizona and take an iconic pic.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Yeah, because they're big fans of the Eagles.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Right, this is the band that's saying that's booming out,
- 19:06Speaker 1: as you like to say.
- 19:07Speaker 3: They are booming out. And then Robin goes on this
- 19:11Speaker 3: stupid little like rant about how she's worried about people
- 19:15Speaker 3: knowing that they're polygamist. She doesn't know what society is
- 19:19Speaker 3: going to think of them, even though they're on a
- 19:21Speaker 3: national TV show.
- 19:22Speaker 1: So I have to overcompensate and just pretend that I'm
- 19:25Speaker 1: really okay with it, and everybody probably knows already, and
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm just gonna act like I'm so proud of being
- 19:29Speaker 1: a polygamist, and I'm just wondering why you're talking. I know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: get off my.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Television, shut the fuck up. And then they go to
- 19:37Speaker 3: like a little gift shop store that's run by this
- 19:39Speaker 3: guy who's a civil libertarian, and we have to talk
- 19:41Speaker 3: to him, just.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Really excited that they're exercising their First Amendment rights for freedom,
- 19:48Speaker 1: for religion. And I thought I thought that was about
- 19:50Speaker 1: the press. It was or I thought that was about
- 19:53Speaker 1: I don't know my rights, But all I knew was
- 19:56Speaker 1: I was bored. I why am I meeting you with
- 19:58Speaker 1: his name Tom? Tom, I don't care about you, God
- 20:01Speaker 1: bless look.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I like your long hair and your beard.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But that's all exit stage left.
- 20:06Speaker 3: We don't need to comment Tom the civil libertarian. Jeez.
- 20:11Speaker 3: And then they finally stop at their first campsite for
- 20:14Speaker 3: the night, after fucking nine hours of driving. Whatever they
- 20:18Speaker 3: have dinner, they prep it in their little RV's. Mary
- 20:21Speaker 3: and Robin go and stay in their like nice little
- 20:23Speaker 3: hotels while everybody else I am into the fucking RV's.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I'm sure Robin's nanny got her own room too. Oh.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Absolutely, Robin's nanny was taking care of Robin's kids that
- 20:36Speaker 1: were also at the hotel. So the kids got a
- 20:39Speaker 1: hotel room. They got to take showers at night in
- 20:42Speaker 1: a comfy place, must be. I probably ate at the diner.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I don't want your booty food, Christine. I was gonna
- 20:49Speaker 1: eat over here, my special privileged people meal.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I'm just like man if I was Christina and Janelle,
- 20:56Speaker 3: I'd be so upset.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Janelle likes to camp, sure, but I don't know that
- 21:01Speaker 1: Christine does.
- 21:02Speaker 3: But does Janelle want to camp in a cramped RV
- 21:05Speaker 3: with her six kids? Probably not plus paid, it plus
- 21:08Speaker 3: paid hanging out with the boys. Yeah, So it's like,
- 21:09Speaker 3: do you want to be crammed in one little space?
- 21:12Speaker 3: It's one thing to camp in an RV when you've
- 21:14Speaker 3: got a family of four and you have enough space
- 21:17Speaker 3: and people can do their own thing, But it's another
- 21:19Speaker 3: when you have a family of twenty five. I don't know.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I'm just like, I can't. Robin is such a privileged
- 21:26Speaker 3: ass bitch, and Mary probably just fought for the hotel because.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm the first wife. I'm a legal wife exactly.
- 21:33Speaker 3: And then it's the next day of travel, and I
- 21:35Speaker 3: guess this is going to be one of their longer
- 21:37Speaker 3: days because they're going from Holbrook, Arizona, to somewhere in
- 21:40Speaker 3: New Mexico or whatever. Cody comes out of the hotel,
- 21:45Speaker 3: so he didn't stay in the RV with Janelle or Christine.
- 21:48Speaker 1: After he puts on quite the show talking about how
- 21:51Speaker 1: he's gonna leave a little of his clothes in this
- 21:53Speaker 1: RV and a little of my clothes in that RV
- 21:56Speaker 1: and then I'll pack a little baggy poo for the hotel. Hmmm, Okay,
- 22:00Speaker 1: first morning he's at the hotel with Robin.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Yeah, of course he's probably with Robin the entire time.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Absolutely, I gotta be here Forsalome.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I got a meet you Forda babies. We have Cody
- 22:13Speaker 3: hugging Dayton, who says something like, oh my god, the
- 22:15Speaker 3: rooms are so nice and so okay, they got hotel
- 22:19Speaker 3: rooms too. That's very nice.
- 22:21Speaker 2: It's very great.
- 22:22Speaker 3: If I was one of these teenagers, I would be
- 22:23Speaker 3: such a rage monster be with my aries Moon. I
- 22:26Speaker 3: would have been so mad at my parents dragging me
- 22:28Speaker 3: on this booty ass fucking road trip with all these kids.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I'm an older kid, and you're gonna let Dayton, as
- 22:35Speaker 1: an older kid, have a hotel room, but I don't
- 22:37Speaker 1: get to have.
- 22:38Speaker 3: But I don't get one.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I could have shared a room with Dayton. We could
- 22:41Speaker 1: have shared a couple of rooms together, but no, sorry,
- 22:44Speaker 1: you were born of Janelle exactly, you were born of Christine.
- 22:47Speaker 1: So you don't get a hotel room.
- 22:48Speaker 3: You get the shitty RV. Have fun with that. And
- 22:51Speaker 3: then it's Little Truly's birthday, and so to celebrate, they
- 22:54Speaker 3: go out to some diner or whatever. They baked her
- 22:57Speaker 3: a cake and they had presents, and Little Truly's real cute,
- 23:00Speaker 3: she's turning forward. She wants everybody to know that she
- 23:02Speaker 3: is four years old. Now she's a big girl. And
- 23:05Speaker 3: then they're at the diner, they open all the presents,
- 23:08Speaker 3: they eat all of the cake, and then they just leave.
- 23:10Speaker 1: It all there.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Yeah, they just leave a huge fucking mess and they
- 23:12Speaker 3: gloat about it. Yeah, they're like the best part about
- 23:15Speaker 3: being a big families. We can make a big mess
- 23:17Speaker 3: at a restaurant and then.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Leave it there. Wow. Yeah, y'all are rude.
- 23:21Speaker 2: They probably didn't even tip either.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I don't know that. It was probably paid for by
- 23:26Speaker 1: TLC or they production paid because you know, those Mormons
- 23:29Speaker 1: were not baying.
- 23:30Speaker 3: No, not at all. And they reminisce about Truly having
- 23:34Speaker 3: kidney failure just a little while ago and having to
- 23:37Speaker 3: be hospitalized. So this is a big deal for her birthday,
- 23:40Speaker 3: big milestone.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And that just made me remember what Christine talked about
- 23:44Speaker 1: in her book. By the way, we cover this on
- 23:46Speaker 1: our Patreon yep in Foreign doments. We did it in October.
- 23:49Speaker 1: We read this book and we talked about it. But
- 23:51Speaker 1: in the book she tells us that when Truly was
- 23:55Speaker 1: in the hospital for her life or death treatment, she
- 23:58Speaker 1: had kidney failure, she was on dialysis, it wasn't working.
- 24:02Speaker 1: It was tenuous, bitch. Christine stayed there every night and
- 24:07Speaker 1: Cody did not. And the first night I think it
- 24:09Speaker 1: was that she was admitted and Christine was there, Cody
- 24:13Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I gotta go get my laundry from
- 24:15Speaker 1: Robin's house. I gotta go to my laundry.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yep. He didn't stay with her once, not even overnight
- 24:21Speaker 3: one night.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Right, And so in this episode in season seven, we
- 24:25Speaker 1: have him talking about how I'm really reflecting, like what
- 24:28Speaker 1: life would have been like if Truly wasn't here whatever,
- 24:31Speaker 1: Like I'm so grateful, and you know, I think she's
- 24:33Speaker 1: changed for it because we've all come together as a family.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Blah blah blah, blah blah.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Huh, you had to go home and do your laundry
- 24:39Speaker 1: instead of stay with your child. You left that to Christine.
- 24:41Speaker 1: You left Christine alone. Ye, you ain't shit.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I think he was checked out long before True
- 24:48Speaker 3: even came into the world. I don't think he ever
- 24:50Speaker 3: really cared about her because he didn't really care about Christine,
- 24:53Speaker 3: so he was just like, deuces, I'm gonna go make
- 24:56Speaker 3: out with Robin, have fun.
- 24:57Speaker 2: In labor, man. Bye.
- 25:00Speaker 3: He doesn't give a shit at all. So it was
- 25:01Speaker 3: kind of bittersweet for me with this little fourth birthday
- 25:04Speaker 3: because Truly seemed really happy and excited, and the kids
- 25:07Speaker 3: were like really sweet to her and very kind to her,
- 25:09Speaker 3: even Robin's brats, I mean kids were also nice to her.
- 25:13Speaker 3: But I felt like Cody didn't give a shit, and.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I don't think he does at all, and it just
- 25:18Speaker 1: really struck me watching Christine pull out all these presents
- 25:23Speaker 1: and like have this German chocolate cake, and like all
- 25:26Speaker 1: the emotional and physical labor that Christine and these other wives,
- 25:30Speaker 1: probably including Robin, have to do so that Cody can
- 25:33Speaker 1: just bounce around and be Disney Dad and pretend like
- 25:37Speaker 1: he cares about these kids.
- 25:38Speaker 3: It's crazy. It's absolutely crazy. And so then after the
- 25:42Speaker 3: whole diner thing, Truly's birthday, then we're back at their
- 25:45Speaker 3: other camp site. So I guess they made it to
- 25:48Speaker 3: their next destination. And this is where there's snow flurries
- 25:52Speaker 3: in the air.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 25:53Speaker 3: And Robin comes out of the RV because it's like
- 25:55Speaker 3: thirty degrees and she's freezing, and she's like, what is this?
- 26:00Speaker 3: This is bullshit and then she like actually swears.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Cody's like, hey, we've got neighbors, and she's like, I
- 26:07Speaker 1: don't give a shit, I don't care. Oh there it
- 26:09Speaker 1: is mask off, Robin.
- 26:12Speaker 3: And she even talks about it on the couch. She's like,
- 26:14Speaker 3: I am a monster when it's cold out or whatever.
- 26:18Speaker 3: And she's like I hate the snow and I'm like, really,
- 26:21Speaker 3: because you bought a mansion and Flagstaff where it snows yearly,
- 26:24Speaker 3: So what is it then? You hate the snow or
- 26:27Speaker 3: you just pissed off because you're driving with all these
- 26:29Speaker 3: bitches you got.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Hot on camera, kick get a dog, as it were.
- 26:33Speaker 3: That's that. So Robin's pissed off because it's snowing. So
- 26:37Speaker 3: she goes into her nice, warm hotel room while Cody
- 26:40Speaker 3: has to plug in the RV's and this is the
- 26:43Speaker 3: infamous scene.
- 26:44Speaker 1: The Angels sang, oh so great. Sometimes we can see
- 26:50Speaker 1: karma real time facts.
- 26:52Speaker 3: So Cody has been on this whole entire trip, having
- 26:55Speaker 3: his eldest sons do everything and do everything. I plug
- 27:00Speaker 3: in all of the plumbing and all of the septic connections,
- 27:04Speaker 3: septic connections every time they park their RV at a place,
- 27:07Speaker 3: and so at the last place in Arizona, they unplugged
- 27:11Speaker 3: it and everything. Cody didn't check the pipes when he
- 27:16Speaker 3: parked the RV at this campsite, and so literal liquid
- 27:20Speaker 3: shit and piss.
- 27:22Speaker 1: So he opens the pipe and it just spurts out everywhere,
- 27:28Speaker 1: all over him, his shoes. I would imagine his genes
- 27:32Speaker 1: for sure. You know he's a germophobe. Oh yeah, you know,
- 27:35Speaker 1: he's really careful about all of that stuff. He must
- 27:38Speaker 1: have just been so disgusted. But he also knows he's
- 27:42Speaker 1: on camera, so he's got to take care of it.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He can't just turn to production and say take care
- 27:46Speaker 1: of that for me. He's got to pretend that he's
- 27:48Speaker 1: a man, right, he knows how to take care of it.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But he is mad.
- 27:51Speaker 3: He is so mad, and then instead of reflecting and
- 27:54Speaker 3: being like, wow, I should have checked the pipes, he
- 27:56Speaker 3: gets mad at Hunter and Garrison and the old boys,
- 28:00Speaker 3: and he blames it on them and says that they
- 28:02Speaker 3: didn't check the pipes and they didn't screw the caps
- 28:05Speaker 3: on ride or whatever, and they're fighting him and they're like, no, Dad.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I did what I was supposed to do.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And furthermore, you only taught me how to do it yesterday.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So after you taught me how to do it yesterday,
- 28:15Speaker 1: I did what you told me to do. I'm telling
- 28:17Speaker 1: you right now. I did that.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yep.
- 28:18Speaker 1: And Cody's like, well, you must not have done it,
- 28:20Speaker 1: or somebody's sabotaging us.
- 28:22Speaker 3: He's such a piece.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Nobody's sabotaging you. You didn't check it. You are the problem.
- 28:26Speaker 3: You're the adult.
- 28:27Speaker 2: This is your job.
- 28:28Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Like your kids can help you out and everything,
- 28:31Speaker 3: but you're ultimately the man in charge, the one he.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Chose to take an RV vacation where people are gonna
- 28:37Speaker 1: shit in the RV exactly. You want to pass this
- 28:39Speaker 1: manual labor onto your sons who don't even want to
- 28:42Speaker 1: be there, and then when you fuck it up. You
- 28:44Speaker 1: want to yell at them. That's why you got squirted
- 28:47Speaker 1: with shit because you ain't shit. And God saw that
- 28:50Speaker 1: and in that moment he took care of that. Yep,
- 28:52Speaker 1: it's symbolic. You got a shit on you because you
- 28:55Speaker 1: are shit like a TRAC's.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Like facts no no cat for real no no.
- 29:03Speaker 2: So that was great. Cody got sprayed with ship sixty six.
- 29:07Speaker 2: He threw a fit.
- 29:08Speaker 3: He went to take a shower in Robin's hotel room.
- 29:11Speaker 3: And then the next day then.
- 29:13Speaker 1: They made shitty love all up in their ship with
- 29:17Speaker 1: ship all over him.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Yeah, smell like sewage and Robin let him fuck heard
- 29:23Speaker 3: that way like a tracks.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Like a drugs leg.
- 29:26Speaker 3: So after sleeping in their shitty love making bed, they
- 29:29Speaker 3: wake up the next day.
- 29:32Speaker 2: They wake up the next.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Day where she pegged him where she made in the.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Doole, talk about shitty though, dud shit.
- 29:40Speaker 1: We are excavating some ship up in here. Where's the ship? Sorry,
- 29:46Speaker 1: it's all over?
- 29:47Speaker 3: Sorry anyway. So after after Robin and Cody made shitty
- 29:51Speaker 3: love in their shitty hotel room, they wake up the
- 29:53Speaker 3: next morning and everything's covered in ice and it's freezing,
- 29:57Speaker 3: and so Robin's jaws very hard because it's because it's winter.
- 30:01Speaker 3: It's cold in winter, because you're traveling whatever. Why didn't
- 30:05Speaker 3: you check the weather before you made a road trip,
- 30:07Speaker 3: a four day long road trip across the country. Whatever.
- 30:10Speaker 1: So well they did, because at the beginning of the episode,
- 30:13Speaker 1: Christine's telling her kids to pack heavy coats, it's gonna
- 30:16Speaker 1: be cold.
- 30:17Speaker 2: She's the only one that actually checked.
- 30:19Speaker 1: The weather, right, I know, Mary's in sandals.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we're from Vegas.
- 30:25Speaker 2: We were prepared for the cold weather.
- 30:27Speaker 3: As if they didn't like grow up and live in Utah.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Ok you whatever. So they pack on up and they
- 30:33Speaker 3: go and drive their next third What are we on,
- 30:36Speaker 3: like the third leg of the trip, I think, and
- 30:39Speaker 3: I and Marilla they stop at this like barbecue place
- 30:44Speaker 3: or something.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Texas Steak Challenge restaurant. Yeah, forget what, it's cold.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I drive by it so much like every time we
- 30:53Speaker 3: go to Colorado, like I've seen this sign. So they're
- 30:55Speaker 3: gonna go do the seventy two ounce steak Challenge. We
- 30:59Speaker 3: have to eat an into seventy two ounce steak in
- 31:01Speaker 3: one hour or you have to pay for it. And
- 31:05Speaker 3: so multiple people in the family want to eat these steaks.
- 31:09Speaker 3: So Madison because.
- 31:11Speaker 1: The Browns aren't paying for it if they fail steelcs,
- 31:14Speaker 1: so absolutely they can afford to have seven children or whatever.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Plus Cody do it.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Wild so ridiculous, such a waste of food. I'm like,
- 31:21Speaker 3: I hope you guys ate all of that steak instead
- 31:23Speaker 3: of just wasting it. But whatever, we have Cody.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Twenty twenty six for us to eat that steak. Girl,
- 31:29Speaker 1: it's gonna cost us one hundred two hundred dollars at Costco.
- 31:33Speaker 1: At least, can't just go around like wasting steak anymore.
- 31:36Speaker 3: At least I was like watching that. I'm like, man,
- 31:38Speaker 3: what were beef prices back then?
- 31:40Speaker 2: I miss it.
- 31:40Speaker 1: They were reasonable. They were reasonable.
- 31:44Speaker 3: So we have Madison, we have Dayting, we have Hunter,
- 31:48Speaker 3: we have Cody and a couple. There's Garrison, I think
- 31:52Speaker 3: with Garrison, and then we had one other baby. We
- 31:55Speaker 3: had a bunch of fucking people eating seventy two ounce
- 31:57Speaker 3: steaks each and shocker, nobody finished it. Everybody takes it
- 32:01Speaker 3: home and their take out. Everybody's sick and nauseous. Before that,
- 32:05Speaker 3: Cody went and dragged everybody to the gym to try
- 32:07Speaker 3: and work out, so that way they were ravenous. That
- 32:10Speaker 3: didn't help nobody.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Well, he just really wanted us to see him working out,
- 32:15Speaker 1: because any sort of masculine display that he can put
- 32:18Speaker 1: on is what he's going to do.
- 32:20Speaker 3: And did you see how he was working out too,
- 32:22Speaker 3: with his old man body?
- 32:23Speaker 1: Yes I did.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I just can't, Yes I did. Embarrassing. They also meet
- 32:27Speaker 3: some girl who completed the seventy two hours Chance Challenge.
- 32:31Speaker 1: She just so happened to be at the twenty four
- 32:33Speaker 1: hour Fitness Oh by the way, I won that challenge.
- 32:36Speaker 2: With seven minutes to spare.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Actually, so if I can do it, you can do it.
- 32:40Speaker 3: And news class they don't fucking do it. And Christine
- 32:43Speaker 3: talks about how at the restaurant while they're doing this challenge,
- 32:47Speaker 3: they're always trying to get shit for free. So they're
- 32:50Speaker 3: really hoping that they get these steaks for free and
- 32:52Speaker 3: they don't have to pay for it. But you're probably
- 32:54Speaker 3: right to you'll see, probably.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Paid for it, absolutely, And she said this on the
- 32:57Speaker 1: couch and she's like, well, as polygamists, we are always
- 33:00Speaker 1: trying to get things for free. And then across the couch,
- 33:03Speaker 1: Robin is just like, oh, I'm embarrassed, so embarrassed about it,
- 33:06Speaker 1: but it's true it is true. Welfare scams, goutting stuff
- 33:10Speaker 1: for free.
- 33:11Speaker 3: What you're doing, it's which, that's your life, Robin. Maybe
- 33:14Speaker 3: she's embarrassed because she's classiest. Maybe she doesn't want to
- 33:18Speaker 3: be like perceived as Probably well if you look at
- 33:23Speaker 3: what she became, yeah, and how she conducts herself now,
- 33:26Speaker 3: then that would make sense, make total sense. And so yeah,
- 33:29Speaker 3: nobody finishes the steak. I think Dayton's the last one
- 33:32Speaker 3: who's eating, but he didn't finish it either, and so
- 33:35Speaker 3: then they take all of the steak home. Everybody's nauseous.
- 33:38Speaker 3: And then we have the fourth day of traveling from
- 33:42Speaker 3: a Mailla all the way to Missouri, I think, but
- 33:45Speaker 3: we don't even finish it, really, And this is where
- 33:48Speaker 3: we have before they go on this last leg. We
- 33:51Speaker 3: have the whole family praying together. And Garrison in particular
- 33:57Speaker 3: is grumpy because he's been having to spend several days
- 34:00Speaker 3: with his crazy family and his father's been yelling at
- 34:02Speaker 3: him constantly.
- 34:03Speaker 1: And think of his digestive system. He ate probably fifty
- 34:07Speaker 1: ounces of steak, so much fall up in his belly.
- 34:09Speaker 1: He needs to poop. He's constantly. Now I got to
- 34:12Speaker 1: sit in a family prayer circle. Yeah, and there's Isabelle
- 34:15Speaker 1: just pure a wedding and dancing around it like let's
- 34:17Speaker 1: get this show on the road. And so he snaps.
- 34:21Speaker 1: He says something like, is the bell stop being stupid?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Typical brother says, and the adults are just like.
- 34:29Speaker 3: How damn and everybody comes down on him, and which
- 34:33Speaker 3: pissed me off. Honestly, yes, me too, because everyone's just
- 34:37Speaker 3: like yelling at it. We have Cody yelling at him,
- 34:39Speaker 3: we have Janelle yelling at him, we have Mary getting
- 34:42Speaker 3: on him, we have the older siblings also getting on him.
- 34:45Speaker 3: We have Garrison and Peyton and Hunter on the couch,
- 34:48Speaker 3: and even Peyton and Hunter are going off on him
- 34:51Speaker 3: about how that was rude and and and consider it
- 34:54Speaker 3: and lame and you should have apologized and how could
- 34:57Speaker 3: you be such a bad brother? Like people were just
- 34:59Speaker 3: being really hard on him.
- 35:01Speaker 2: And this made me mad.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Yes, I mean true, when your child is disrespectful, there
- 35:08Speaker 1: needs to be a correction. But there's a different way
- 35:11Speaker 1: that you could say that. You could say something like, hey, Garrison,
- 35:14Speaker 1: that's really harsh. Isabelle is just here having some fun
- 35:18Speaker 1: and you should apologize because I think you hurt her
- 35:20Speaker 1: feelings or whatever. You could just parent that a little
- 35:23Speaker 1: bit more gently instead of just piling on Garrison and
- 35:26Speaker 1: like forcing him to apologize to Christine, to Isabelle and
- 35:31Speaker 1: to Mindy. Yeah, why are we apologizing to Mindy?
- 35:34Speaker 3: No?
- 35:35Speaker 1: What did Where was Mindy? I don't even know. So
- 35:38Speaker 1: Garrison's got to make the rounds on his apology tour,
- 35:41Speaker 1: and I just felt really bad about it. And Cody
- 35:44Speaker 1: was lecturing him in the prayer circle, saying something like, well,
- 35:47Speaker 1: I deserve respect as the patriarch and the father of
- 35:51Speaker 1: this family, and so the respect you should afford to me,
- 35:53Speaker 1: afford it to everybody in this circle. Garrison, I was
- 35:57Speaker 1: just like so ridiculous, A little bit much, yeah for
- 36:00Speaker 1: a kid, a twelve year old boy or whatever.
- 36:02Speaker 3: And I'm just like, why isn't anybody asking Garrison, like
- 36:06Speaker 3: why did you lash out? What's going on? Like Janelle's
- 36:09Speaker 3: the only one that's like kind of trying to understand
- 36:12Speaker 3: her own kid, where she's just like Garrison got triggered,
- 36:15Speaker 3: he's upset, he's been spending three days in the RV,
- 36:19Speaker 3: like he's just tired or whatever. But in the moment,
- 36:21Speaker 3: like she's coming on hard on him, she's letting Cody
- 36:24Speaker 3: yell at him about respect, and.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I'm just like, man, yeah, but suck. Hunter steps in
- 36:29Speaker 1: and defends Isabelle and says something to Garrison like, don't
- 36:32Speaker 1: talk to her like that, It's okay, And then Cody
- 36:34Speaker 1: starts yelling at hunter sake, and then we hear Janelle
- 36:37Speaker 1: say something like, yeah, when my kids are at the
- 36:39Speaker 1: end of their rope, they just start acting out and
- 36:41Speaker 1: it's hard for me to try and manage well, manage
- 36:44Speaker 1: it anyway. That's your job as a mom. And if
- 36:46Speaker 1: your dumbass dad and everybody else in this prayer circle
- 36:49Speaker 1: is coming for your son, you stand in front of
- 36:51Speaker 1: him and say, let's talk about this later. Guys, let's
- 36:53Speaker 1: deescalate because this is my son, Janelle I know, ain't shit.
- 36:58Speaker 1: She's so like Janelle's such.
- 37:00Speaker 3: A lazy She's very passive in the so passive, like
- 37:04Speaker 3: when she said, you know, when my kids get to
- 37:06Speaker 3: a certain point, there's no turning back. I'm like, really,
- 37:09Speaker 3: you have no control, no agency as a parent, Like,
- 37:12Speaker 3: what are you talking about? Their teenagers? They're not like
- 37:15Speaker 3: bombs that just go off and you can't do anything
- 37:17Speaker 3: about it. And then they have this whole conversation about
- 37:20Speaker 3: team parenting and how all the parents put on this
- 37:24Speaker 3: united front and back each other up. And I'm like,
- 37:26Speaker 3: this is a load of bullshit, though, because is anybody
- 37:29Speaker 3: doing that with Robin's kids, for example? Probably not. I'm
- 37:33Speaker 3: sure everybody is quick to team parent Janelle and Christine's kids,
- 37:37Speaker 3: but when it comes to Robin's it's probably oh no,
- 37:41Speaker 3: me and Cody will deal with it. Me, Cody and
- 37:43Speaker 3: Mindy will deal with it. So everybody comes hard on
- 37:46Speaker 3: Garrison and that made me sad.
- 37:48Speaker 2: And so then they.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Start on their their last leg of the trip. They
- 37:52Speaker 3: stop somewhere for lunch on the side of the road,
- 37:55Speaker 3: they have the kids slide down the grass hill with
- 37:58Speaker 3: unpaid plates, Booty and you get.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Too, and then get oh for.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Real, and we end the episode. We d the episode
- 38:10Speaker 3: on that where Robin's like, yeah, we're trying to let
- 38:13Speaker 3: out the tension and get everybody back into high spirits.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Shut your fucking hormouth, Robin. I'm so sick of you, man.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I know she's the worst. And then we get to
- 38:23Speaker 3: the preview for the next episode, where we ultimately get
- 38:25Speaker 3: to meet the degenerate polygamists in Springfield.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Miser I'm side eyeing these people.
- 38:31Speaker 2: They're weird.
- 38:32Speaker 1: So I was meeting how did you become polygamists? This
- 38:35Speaker 1: is what the question is. And the wife is like, well,
- 38:37Speaker 1: it was cooking dinner for my husband who was sitting
- 38:39Speaker 1: on the couch watching a show or whatever, and he
- 38:41Speaker 1: just said to me, gosh, I wish there was another
- 38:43Speaker 1: woman who could sit and cuddle with me while you cook. Wow,
- 38:47Speaker 1: that's wonderful. Oh my god, say it again, sir. Oh,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I'm falling in love every word. I'm falling deeper in
- 38:53Speaker 1: love with you. So crazy.
- 38:57Speaker 3: But it's from the Bible, though, right, So God told
- 38:59Speaker 3: them it's okay.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Sorry, where in the Bible, the Old Testament where everybody
- 39:04Speaker 1: had concubines and stuff. These men will use whatever they
- 39:07Speaker 1: can to get as many punanies as they possibly can,
- 39:10Speaker 1: of course, and these women.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Just buy into it because they're dune.
- 39:13Speaker 1: And it's not even a part of a religion. You're
- 39:15Speaker 1: just following some garrick merryfield, like some crazy person.
- 39:18Speaker 2: It's so stupid.
- 39:19Speaker 3: And the wife that was telling that story was like, oh,
- 39:21Speaker 3: I was so upset. I was like, absolutely not, you
- 39:24Speaker 3: can't have another wife. But then they ultimately.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Brought in another wife, I wish my husband would, he
- 39:30Speaker 1: would not be alive anymore. Well, I'm cooking and cleaning
- 39:32Speaker 1: after his ass from the living room while he's watching
- 39:37Speaker 1: the Curse of Oak Island. Say to me, Wow, I
- 39:40Speaker 1: wish there was a woman here who would cuddle with
- 39:42Speaker 1: me while you're working. I wish he would. He'd be
- 39:45Speaker 1: buried in the exiting this planet that night, both of
- 39:49Speaker 1: us in the cadillac to heaven, and I'm leaving with you,
- 39:53Speaker 1: bitch God the next life.
- 39:57Speaker 3: It's ridiculous, And that's pretty oh no. And then the
- 40:01Speaker 3: other these polygamists talk about how some polygamist families share
- 40:05Speaker 3: a bedroom.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Well, we met them. They were in Denver. They're called
- 40:08Speaker 1: the Davis family. They got a big bed and they all.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Get all in the big twelve foot long bed.
- 40:16Speaker 1: And Cody's like scandalized, first of all, cannot imagine screwing
- 40:20Speaker 1: anybody else but Robin at this point exactly, and having
- 40:22Speaker 1: these big heifers in the bed with him, along with
- 40:25Speaker 1: Robin pegging him, like, who could even imagine such a
- 40:28Speaker 1: nightmare situation? Yeah yeah, So He's just like, WHOA, we
- 40:32Speaker 1: don't do that in my religion.
- 40:33Speaker 3: No, well we could only share a kitchen and that
- 40:36Speaker 3: didn't work, let alone a bedroom.
- 40:38Speaker 2: God forbid.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, because these are not real polygamists. You're
- 40:42Speaker 3: going to meet a bunch of degenerates in Missouri for
- 40:45Speaker 3: content on this show, right, because you're desperate for money.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Yes, that's it, yep.
- 40:50Speaker 3: But you know what, I'm glad we're back in the
- 40:52Speaker 3: rewines me too.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Is also because you get to see the little easter
- 40:56Speaker 1: eggs along the way and you're looking back from your
- 41:00Speaker 1: vantage point in twenty twenty six and all the things
- 41:02Speaker 1: that they're saying. You're like, that's a laugh, yep. And
- 41:05Speaker 1: now I know you were never fucking marry you were
- 41:08Speaker 1: treating Christine like this or that. Like it's it's kind
- 41:11Speaker 1: of interesting to do a retrospective like that.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Definitely, And even though the episodes are still boring, they're
- 41:16Speaker 3: produced better in my opinion, Like even though it's a
- 41:19Speaker 3: little bit more manufactured, there's some like stuff that's more manufactured.
- 41:22Speaker 3: It's better than just having Robin organize her pantry, you
- 41:27Speaker 3: know what I mean?
- 41:28Speaker 1: You know what they're not doing is like the constant
- 41:30Speaker 1: bouncing back and forth and back and forth, like from
- 41:34Speaker 1: scene to scene to scene, like you can't really keep
- 41:35Speaker 1: up with whatever they're doing, right, and plus it's happening
- 41:39Speaker 1: in totally different timelines. At least back then they were
- 41:42Speaker 1: on a linear timeline that we could follow.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Yes, way better in my opinion.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm glad we're back me as well, and
- 41:49Speaker 1: I look forward to more shark tank yeah situations, and
- 41:54Speaker 1: the run up to the cat fit to.
- 41:57Speaker 3: The mother fucking cat the cat should do.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Which is really good, by the way, the catfish, Yeah,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I can't wait. And then the fallout with Leon after
- 42:04Speaker 1: the catfish, Leon gets so mad, so mad, Leon calls
- 42:08Speaker 1: out Mary's eyebrows, and which is great, It's iconic. Poor Mary.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Though at that point, oh well, yeah, it's about to
- 42:15Speaker 1: get real good.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Yes, definitely.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Okay, so is there anything else that we should say
- 42:19Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get upon at a
- 42:22Speaker 1: here Beatrice.

- 42:35Speaker 1: We're going to be back later this week because we
