- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome back to the Live Well podcast.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: We are diving into something very actually important today.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: And this is something that I see affect so many entrepreneurs, but especially female entrepreneurs.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: And that is the conviction collapse cycle.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Now, people love to speak about personal power.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: And it's thrown around like personal power, you have to have personal power, you gotta build personal power.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: But what does it actually mean?
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: What is it made up of?
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be diving into it.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: And to be honest, personal power is the biggest, biggest sales driver there is.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: And you already know, right, what it's like to show up in your power.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Because what happens?
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I guarantee when you have five people buy or you receive a 50k pay in full and things are coming out the wazoo, you're on top of the world.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Content is pouring out of you effortlessly, your energy is magnetic, your stories are on fire, your conviction is through the roof, you feel unstoppable.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Everything is easy, breezy cover girl.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: But then, a couple of slow days, the three people who said they'd join, crickets.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: The person who wanted to hire you and pay you 50k in full, ghosts.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: And just like that, your conviction wobbles and it becomes hella conditional.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: You start overthinking your posts, hesitating in your stories, getting in your head, second guessing, questioning every move.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: And so you went from buzzing, content that writes itself, energy that's contagious, everything feeling easy, to now out of nowhere, you hit a lull.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Momentum slows.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: You find yourself questioning everything, right?
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Did I say the wrong thing?
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Was my price too high?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Do they even like my offer?
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: You might even start to question yourself: am I even good enough at this?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Am I good enough to reach this level of income?
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Am I good enough to be this successful, right?
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: All of this, this is the conviction collapse cycle.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: And it is a silent sales killer that you never see coming.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: So, what is conviction?
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Like, let's really anchor in what conviction is for a second.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Because people love throwing around, like I said, personal power, but what does it mean?
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: At its core, right, conviction is the unshakable belief in your offer price point and the transformation you provide.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: It is not just about confidence, it is about certainty.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: When your conviction is strong, people don't just listen to what you're saying, they feel it.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: All right, and conviction is just one aspect of personal power.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: It's one aspect we're diving into today.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: It's one of the biggest ones, and it's just only one aspect of personal power.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: There are others we will be diving into in future episodes.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So it is not your funnel, your ads, your content, your messaging, your strategy.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: It is how deeply you believe in what you are offering.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: All of those things are cherries on top.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: But if you don't have the conviction, it's not going to be flowing.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: So let's really break down this conviction collapse cycle because it is the reason that sales feel light and effortless one day and then heavy and quote unquote stuck or slow at the next.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: So stage one, right?
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: That high conviction.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: You are fully aligned, on fire, sales are flowing, energy magnetic, your content is bold and confident, you're on top of the world, nothing can stop you.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: Then you get stage two, right?
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: That wobble trigger.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Something shifts, sales slow, engagement drops, or you see Karen hitting another 100K month while you feel stuck in neutral.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: You start overthinking your posts, you start hesitating in your stories, you start questioning every move.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: External triggers like these slow sales or internal doubts start creeping in, and your conviction takes a hit.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Your nervous system starts to waver, you start to get a little dysregulated.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Then we enter stage three, which is the collapse mode.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: You lose your spark, you retreat, content feels forced, energy dips, and everything starts to feel heavy.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Instead of leading with boldness, you're stuck in your head overanalyzing every single step.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: It's like your conviction is a Wi-Fi signal.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: I love analogies, so let's like use an analogy.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: When the Wi-Fi is strong, everything flows, right?
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Content uploads effortlessly, DMs flood in, sales come in easily.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: But when it wobbles, when conviction wobbles, when Wi-Fi wobbles, you're buffering.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: It's like you're in buffering mode.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: And suddenly your business feels like you're running on dial-up.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Who remembers dial-up?
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: All right, maybe I'm aging myself, I'm 33 right now.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: I remember like sometimes I used to pick up the phone at my mom's house, and like you would still hear that.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: So funny.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Sales don't slow because of strategy, they slow because your conviction wobbles.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: And then you are already wobbly and you see Karen having sales at the wazoo, and you go into comparison mode.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: And I think we're gonna do a little mini episode on comparison because that's such a big one.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: The main point is, is that when you're in this conviction collapse cycle, right, when your Wi-Fi is in then button and buffering mode, everything is delayed, heavy, and slow.
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: People feel your conviction, right?
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: So when your conviction collapses, because you're not getting the external whatever it is that you want, other people hesitate to.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: They dilute their magic, they then get shiny object syndrome with this strategy, this framework, this real hook, blah, blah, blah, this vile, and sure, those things can be good.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: But if you're still dropping your conviction, it doesn't matter how many frameworks you buy, how many programs you take, how many, like, how many hours.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Let's just talk about that.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: How many hours you're spending trying to fix a quote-unquote problem.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: You don't have a strategy problem.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: You have a conviction problem.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: Like, to be honest, yes, we need like good messaging, we need all those things, but you probably need better conviction first.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Conviction is the undercurrent.
- 8:18unknown: Right?
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Conviction is like gas.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get another analogy in here.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: You can have a car.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Ain't no gas in the car.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Where the hell are you going?
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: You ain't going nowhere without conviction.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: And you can feel when someone is convicted.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: And I was speaking about this in the previous episode.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Like, you can feel when I speak about my mastery and nervousism, quantum energetics.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: I'm solid.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: There's not one ounce of me that wavers.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: And it's not, oh, it doesn't waver because of XYZ going on.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: It doesn't waver no what matter what happens in business, right?
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: Because let's also be honest, it's not all, you know, butterflies and unicorns.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: But you need to be able to be convicted, no matter what.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Because if not, and unfortunately, this is what happened.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: We're just gonna get really real for a second.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: I saw this happen to a lot of women.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I see this every day, but especially we're at what now, 2025, 2023 into 2024.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Because the industry changed.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: Buying behavior changed.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, I have full body chills as I say this.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: So, like, thank God you're listening to this now.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Things changed.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, industry shifts, buying behavior changes.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: And instead of being able to pivot and learn and like double down on skill sets, people dropped their conviction and they not only entered their this conviction collapse cycle, but they stayed there.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And so many women went from like whatever their income was, like half.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Suddenly, people weren't buying.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Like, it wasn't the algorithm, right?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: It wasn't, you know, blaming the economy or anything else.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: With so much love, me and my clients have been growing.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: It's not that.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: With so much love, it's you, it's your conviction.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Because when you're convicted, you become like the person who can sell snow to an Eskimo.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: When you are convicted, even if someone already has what you could has what you have, because depending on who's listening to this, right?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Someone may have even bought a program on that before or bought a product that I don't know, bought your face mask before, or bought this before, but they will buy yours because of how convicted you are.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: Think about, and like a lot of women listen to this, think about it like a face mask, okay?
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: You've probably bought 50 face masks before, but if you see someone come on convicted and solid, and they know like this is the best face mask ever for brightening, I don't know, brightening your skin.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: And they go on and they they feel passionate about it, you will buy it even if you have three brightening face masks in your bathroom right now.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: So really look at where you're A outsourcing your power and B use this as a wake-up call for your conviction.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: This is a very important skill, I would argue.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Top three, if not top two, important skills to have in business.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Because conviction will keep you going when everything else around you changes.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Conviction will keep you going no matter the economy, no matter the external circumstances, no matter if industries change, buying behaviors change, it does not matter.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Conviction is a skill set you can take with you anywhere.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: If you can learn to build unwavering conviction, that's when you will learn how to create millions.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Because you cannot have conditionality around your conviction if you want to grow a seven, eight-figure business.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna say that again.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: You cannot have conditionality around your conviction if you want to grow a seven, eight-figure business.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: I want you to let this land.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: I want you to really analyze and become self-aware of where you're in this conviction collapse cycle.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And where then when your conviction collapses, you then outsource your power instead of actually working on the thing that's the issue, which is your conviction.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: This is huge.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Let this land.
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: And of course, if you want to work on your conviction, which every entrepreneur should, this is what we're doing inside unstoppable.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna show you how to hold your conviction, even when, because let's be honest, not everything is sunshine and unicorns, like I said.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: This is how you create a nervous system where you are convicted, even if and even when things happen.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: So even as you ride the wave of entrepreneurship, your certainty, your conviction doesn't collapse.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: So you don't lose momentum, your energy stays magnetic, and sales keep flowing with ease.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: So we will leave a link for that down below.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Let this be the last time you enter the conviction collapse cycle, and I will see you in the next episode.
