- 0:01$100 silver, $600.00 silver. We're going to talk about all
- 0:05the reasons and examples why that will soon be the case, at
- 0:10least during our lifetime together.
- 0:12Let's start with North Star bad charts because we've got a
- 0:15signal right now in the precious metal sector that has only
- 0:19happened four times in the last 100 years.
- 0:23And let's go see what he's talking about.
- 0:27Definitely one of the most respected Chartist out there.
- 0:30He doesn't talk often, but when he does, people pay attention.
- 0:34He tells you us we congratulations, you're living
- 0:38through the 4th signal in 100 years.
- 0:42Don't mess it up by listening to fairy tale narratives.
- 0:46What he's comparing here is the gold price, gold versus the SPX
- 0:525 month total strength indicator.
- 0:55And as you can see, right, if we look at this chart, there have
- 0:58been a couple times where the blue line crossed over the gold
- 1:01line. That was what back in the 1930s,
- 1:04We had it again in the 1960s and had a massive like 10-15 year
- 1:09period of, of major price increases for gold and silver
- 1:16and again in the early 2000s. But the thing we're paying
- 1:19attention to is right here, guys, because where we want to
- 1:23go is way up here. So hey, look, these types of
- 1:27indicators only come along so often.
- 1:30And when North Star Bad Charts talks, we are going to listen
- 1:34again. He's one of the most respected
- 1:36chartists out there and we know it, We feel it.
- 1:39We know the fundamental reasons, we know what's happening, right?
- 1:42We know the we know the money printing, all that.
- 1:44We're going to get into all that.
- 1:45But we got more charts to look at when it comes to silver in
- 1:49particular. Let's go out here and check out
- 1:53what Shane Magura put out. He says silver broke out of its
- 1:58Pennant last Wednesday, as I said, which means this initial
- 2:02move should take us to the $98 range.
- 2:05Now there's some dispute out there and it really doesn't
- 2:10matter. Is this a Pennant or is it what
- 2:13I like to call a falling wedge pattern, right, that was coming
- 2:17down here. The big key, no matter what we
- 2:20call it, is that we have broken out, OK, and most analysts are
- 2:25talking about something on the short term between $98 to $100
- 2:30per oz for silver. While we're out here, let's go
- 2:34check on the silver Sprite price.
- 2:37OK, We're doing all right. Gosh, earlier today we were down
- 2:40almost a dollar. We're still within striking
- 2:43distance of $80 per oz in the spot market for silver, $4800
- 2:50gold price right now. But wait, there's more.
- 2:53There's even more charts, this one a rounding bottom pattern
- 2:57again shared by by Mr. Shane, I believe.
- 3:02Yes. OK, that's pointing out.
- 3:05Oh, wait a minute. Let's go back here.
- 3:08The silver outline is playing out nicely over a weekend.
- 3:11Don't be bearish in a bull market.
- 3:14And if you look at this one, he's got a target of almost
- 3:18$107.00 per oz. And this is that rounding bottom
- 3:23that they're everybody's talking about right now.
- 3:27We got cupping handles, we've got wedges, but we also have a
- 3:30rounding bottom, which is showing us, or I like to call
- 3:34the Frisbee, that we could easily get to $100 silver or
- 3:38higher sooner as opposed to later.
- 3:40But wait, there's more, right? Because another legend in the
- 3:43world of silver, the happy Hawaiian, Apparently he was big
- 3:48in the Reddit squeeze. That happened probably around
- 3:51the time of the C-19 crisis. He brings up something super
- 3:54interesting that we want to pay attention to.
- 3:56The DXY index, the dollar index has fallen below.
- 4:01This was as of yesterday. We're going to do an update
- 4:04$98.50 and now he says the path to 160 dollars silver is open.
- 4:12Sorry I'm distracted. I have a four legged visitor
- 4:15down here in the basement. We'll see if he wants to say
- 4:17hello to you in a second. I feel like I'm trained to
- 4:20expect a rug pull from years of abuse.
- 4:23I guess we'll see. I'm going to show you something
- 4:26very critical on the DXY Index. Hold on a second here.
- 4:34Where did he go? OK, I'll apologize in advance.
- 4:40I've got a furry 4 legged friend who's stalking us.
- 4:44Let's go out to the DXY Index, excuse me, and talk about why
- 4:47that's so important. This is massive and it's
- 4:50actually lower even now. Let's get the right screen up.
- 4:54There we go. As you can see, we're at 98 O
- 4:58seven, OK? But what we really want to look
- 5:01at on this, and again, this compares the US dollar to a
- 5:04bunch of other cruddy currencies.
- 5:08Wow, the dollars going down. That's a one day chart.
- 5:12All right, let's just look at a one month.
- 5:14As you can see, it popped up during the war, but where we can
- 5:18get a big clue about what may come for the gold and silver
- 5:23prices in particular is right here.
- 5:26As you can see, hold on here. All right, there's 1000.
- 5:32Shoot, hold on, guys. OK, there's 100.
- 5:37We're going to draw a line at 100 on the DXY Index.
- 5:42As you can see back all the way to 1985 S Over the last 40
- 5:46years, the DXY index has spent very little time above 100.
- 5:53So even while we can talk about the dollar going down recently,
- 5:57the reality is historically it's still in a higher range.
- 6:01It's spent much more time right down here down below 100.
- 6:07And when the dollar goes down, that is good for the price of
- 6:10gold and silver. Now what's critical for us to
- 6:14realize is it one of the most recent periods from 2001 through
- 6:19about 2011 when the dollar dropped precipitously down all
- 6:24the way to 75. During that period of time, the
- 6:27silver price went from under $5 to over $50.00.
- 6:33So as we look out as to what could happen here over the next
- 6:365 to 10 years, when we look at what North Star Bad Charts said,
- 6:39when we look at the potential for even the DXY index, even
- 6:43though we don't really pay attention to the DXY index, the
- 6:46reality is we could be in for like a 10 year period.
- 6:51I know we all like to watch the silver and gold price on a
- 6:54daily, some of us an hourly basis.
- 6:57But when we look out 10 years from now, right, that'll be
- 7:00what, 2036, right? We could be in for a 10 year
- 7:04period, a bull market. There's going to be ups and
- 7:07downs. There's going to be short term
- 7:09noise. There's going to be volatility.
- 7:11I forgot to warn you at the beginning, there's going to be
- 7:13volatility in the next month. But when we look at over a long
- 7:16period of time, all the fundamentals are aligned for
- 7:20higher and higher prices. Oh man, so much to cover.
- 7:24OK, let's go out to the dude and do a check on the paper.
- 7:29How much paper silver was traded yesterday?
- 7:32Only 375,000,000 oz were traded, right?
- 7:38In the paper markets, right? The LBMA, the Comex, the the
- 7:41make believe markets. Remember, that's almost half of
- 7:44the total annual production of silver from all the silver mines
- 7:49in the entire world traded in one day, right in the paper
- 7:53markets. The physical market is what
- 7:55matters at the end of the road. the IT it, when, when the hens
- 7:59come home to roost. No matter how you want to say
- 8:01it, slice it, or dice it, the physical demand for the metals,
- 8:06for gold and for silver is what will determine the price.
- 8:10Let's go do a quick update on the price of silver in China.
- 8:14And why does that matter? Well, it matters because as we
- 8:18can see, thanks to our friend the Oriental Ghost yesterday, we
- 8:22are approaching $90.00 per oz right there at $89.19 in the
- 8:30physical market in China, the Shanghai Gold Exchange, their
- 8:35physical market, right, their futures market a little bit
- 8:38higher. They're about like we are
- 8:40basically not in a state of contango, not in a state of
- 8:44backwardation. Next, let's talk about 6000
- 8:48dollar gold from a very important source, someone
- 8:52telling us that we're going to have $6000 gold by the end of
- 8:56the year. Before we do that, I do want to
- 8:58say thank you to channel sponsor Brixton Metals.
- 9:01They're a Canadian metals exploration company for big
- 9:05projects in the United States and Canada.
- 9:08Of course, our friends at First Mining Gold, Canadian
- 9:11development Stage Gold Company 2 huge projects both with multi
- 9:16million ounce deposits in Canada, Spring poll in Ontario,
- 9:20Du Parquet in Quebec. And our friends at First Met,
- 9:24the premium retail experience for us normal people who want to
- 9:29get our hands on some silver that can never be touched by the
- 9:33Comex or the LBMA. Because First Met is owned by
- 9:37First Majestic Silver who mines the silver in Mexico, sends it
- 9:42to the first mint facilities in Las Vegas, NV, and then it goes
- 9:46directly to you world class silver bullion products.
- 9:50You guys love them. I love them.
- 9:52They got a discount code you can use VIPRB like very important
- 9:57person Ron's basement, great price, great selection, great
- 10:00everything $6000 gold, but it's real important.
- 10:04Who's saying it? This is new.
- 10:06OK, I'm going to. Let's let's learn first.
- 10:09Who's saying it? Someone who I had not really
- 10:12heard of. Hold on here.
- 10:15Here we go. UUBP.
- 10:19Have you heard of UBP? Union banker Prive Sounds fancy.
- 10:24Because it is. They are the premier Swiss
- 10:28private bank specializing in wealth asset management for
- 10:31private and institutional clients, blah blah, blah.
- 10:34This is according to my sources, like, you know, remember Swiss
- 10:40bankers, they're like the, the secret Swiss bank accounts.
- 10:43They're like the premier. They're like the the bankers who
- 10:46are in the know. They're right up there with the
- 10:48world central banks. Well, this is like apparently
- 10:51the premier of the Swiss, They're talking about $6000 gold
- 10:55by the end of the year. And Bloomberg, Bloomberg is even
- 10:59covering it. Let's go out and see what
- 11:01Bloomberg has to say. They say the Swiss bank UBP
- 11:05buying gold again, forecasting $6000 by year end.
- 11:11Hey, that's a pretty good increase guys.
- 11:13That's what, 20% from where we are?
- 11:16UBP is buying gold again after cutting a significant position.
- 11:21So they'd sold in response to the Iran war induced slump,
- 11:26saying it believes the long term outlook remains intact.
- 11:29Remember, what's good for gold is good for silver.
- 11:31The bank is gradually adding bullion to discretionary client
- 11:35portfolios. After cutting exposure to 3%,
- 11:39they cut all the way to 3% from around 10%.
- 11:43With bullion positions now quote quite balanced.
- 11:46UBP still sees a gold price rising to $6000 an ounce by the
- 11:52end of the year due to structural demand including
- 11:54central bank buying and geopolitical tensions.
- 11:58So hey, you know when, when, when the premier Swiss banker is
- 12:04telling us we can get $6000 gold by the end of the year.
- 12:08We're going to listen. Let's get to some more basics of
- 12:10what's going on right now. This was interesting from a big
- 12:14crypto influencer who's realizing breaking there's AUS
- 12:18debt crisis. Nearly $1.00 out of every $5
- 12:22that our government brings in now goes to pay interest.
- 12:25Hold on here, hold on, forgot to share that.
- 12:29There we go. Goes to pay interest within the
- 12:34next 10 years, one in $4.00 will be going just to pay interest on
- 12:38our debt. Think of the printing they'll
- 12:41have to do to mitigate this absolute disaster.
- 12:46OK, now we talked about UBP. We're going to go back to
- 12:49Switzerland today. I should have worn a Swiss, one
- 12:52of those Swiss hats. We're going to go back to
- 12:54Switzerland. We know UBP, we learned about
- 12:56them, right? They're, they're like the secret
- 12:58Swiss bank account. So we hadn't really heard of
- 13:01them. But UBS, right, the biggest
- 13:04bank, like the big Swiss banker, they're not quite saying $6000
- 13:09gold, but they're saying $5900 gold.
- 13:12And I, I, I screenshot this to share it with you.
- 13:15It was shared by Swen Lorenz. But I wanted, this is what UBS
- 13:20is saying about gold from their report.
- 13:22Did you know gold tends to perform best when growth
- 13:26expectations fall in central banks cut rates leading to lower
- 13:31real yields, usually during the second phase of a crisis.
- 13:35And we're going to get to their prediction here in one second.
- 13:37Interest in exchange traded funds tied to gold are expected
- 13:41to remain high. We project inflows for 2026 to
- 13:45reach 825 metric tons, an increase from our previous
- 13:49forecast of 750 metric tons. So more people moving into the
- 13:54ETS, this is the important part. Again, this is UBS investment
- 13:59view. We see gold as a strategic hedge
- 14:02within an invest within an investment portfolio.
- 14:05We believe mid single digit portfolio allocation is optimal
- 14:10for those with an affinity for gold.
- 14:12We expect the price of gold to end the year around $5900 per
- 14:18oz, but let's revisit we believe a mid single digit portfolio
- 14:24allocation. OK, Remember what we learned
- 14:28yesterday? I think it was Pierre Lassan
- 14:30said if 1% of the world's 1%, OK, UBS is saying mid like 4-5,
- 14:38six percent. Pierre Lassan told us if one,
- 14:41just 1% of the world's wealth were transferred into gold, that
- 14:45the gold price would be $25,000 per oz.
- 14:51OK. But UBS still is telling us
- 14:55regardless that we can get a $5900 gold price by the end of
- 15:00the year. You know what, when I see the
- 15:02only thing this is great, the only thing that matters when it
- 15:06comes, this is from correlation economics.
- 15:09The only thing that matters for gold is the 440 trillion in
- 15:13debt. Everything else really truly is
- 15:16just noise. I mean, look at that guys.
- 15:18That's the total public debt, that's the United States debt.
- 15:22Do you see a trend that it keeps going up at a faster and faster
- 15:26rate? You can complicate things.
- 15:28We can look at every chart in the book.
- 15:30We can look at at at inventory reports for silver, whatever.
- 15:34But at the end of the day, right, that equals money
- 15:37printing. And what you see right there in
- 15:39front of you tells us in no uncertain terms that that's
- 15:43where we're heading. Now, I want to scare you.
- 15:45I don't mean to scare you too badly, but we got some really
- 15:49scary information about the US economy.
- 15:52Look, the United States economy is a consumer based economy.
- 15:57Every economic economist, every economist will say that and
- 16:03we're getting some information about the consumer that is and
- 16:07everybody. Do you feel it?
- 16:08I feel it, right. Like people are scared out there
- 16:12on top of the fact that they get really scared when they go to
- 16:14the grocery store or to a Walmart or anywhere else and try
- 16:18to buy things that they need just to survive.
- 16:21But wait until you see this and then there's an extra added
- 16:25bonus kicker that could tell us that we could be in for some
- 16:28downright nasty times in the near future.
- 16:33This comes from Liz Ann Saunders.
- 16:36Liz Ann Saunders is the chief investment strategist at
- 16:40Schwab's Center for Financial Research, right?
- 16:43She's got 553,000 people that follow her.
- 16:48Follow her on the X platform. She says this the share of
- 16:51consumers who are saying that her financial situation is worse
- 16:57compared to a year ago due to higher prices jumped to 54% in
- 17:03April versus 47% in March, now the highest on record.
- 17:10We are a consumer based economy when people are saying right
- 17:14that their that their financial situation is worse by a huge
- 17:19amount over just one month, that's not a good sign.
- 17:22But I want to point something out to you on this chart.
- 17:25As you can see this is super, super interesting and I don't
- 17:29know anybody else who noticed this yet, but this goes all the
- 17:32way back to 1980, right? Can you see where it peaked?
- 17:36And remember, that's when gold and silver peaked after that
- 17:39period of the 1970s, right when we had oil and oil crisis.
- 17:43Sound familiar? We had high inflation.
- 17:46OK, All right, that's the last time that that number peaked.
- 17:49People feeling poor. Then we go over here to about
- 17:52what after the great financial crisis, 2010, 2011, did I
- 17:58mention to you another period of time when gold and silver
- 18:02peaked? And then we go to where we are
- 18:05today where it's popping back up.
- 18:07But that's not the big key. I'm going to change colors for
- 18:11you. We often talk of the cup and
- 18:14handle pattern on this channel. If you look, do you see a cup,
- 18:19right? Kind of very similar to when the
- 18:23the cup and handle pattern and the silver price starting around
- 18:261980 ending around 2011. Do you see a handle that formed
- 18:33as well from 2011 to period to the current period?
- 18:37Do you see just almost like the silver price, right, a breakout
- 18:43that has occurred. See if I can draw an arrow there
- 18:47for you. OK, so this is actually a very
- 18:50scary situation on the Wedge. I will, Susie, I'm sorry.
- 18:58I promise you guys, I'll get the wedgie, the underwears thing
- 19:01out. I'll look for it as soon as I'm
- 19:02done. It's hidden somewhere in a pile
- 19:04of papers. Oh, on top of what we're what we
- 19:07just saw too. Remember earlier in the week we
- 19:11got scary news from Home Depot, the world's biggest home
- 19:14improvement retailer, who said people are shifting from
- 19:17spending money on big ticket items like wash machines and
- 19:21$5000 refrigerators, and they're spending that money instead on
- 19:25things like plumbing supplies and electric supplies.
- 19:28Maintenance, maintenance issues. We're also seeing a big shift.
- 19:33Walmart's doing pretty well because a lot of upper middle
- 19:36class, high end consumers are shifting from name brands to
- 19:40places like Walmart and you know, the dollar store, which is
- 19:43no longer the dollar store, it's now the dollar 50 store, excuse
- 19:48me, or dollar 25 store, but there's no inflation and the
- 19:53amount of candy you get in the candy packages, there's gone
- 19:55down anyway. They're they're saying people
- 19:58are going from Walmart to the dollar store and CarMax.
- 20:02You know, CarMax is the United States by far biggest used car
- 20:06dealer. They're having that massive
- 20:09issues because all these people out there, there's so many
- 20:12people that have like they're upside down on their car loans.
- 20:16They have, you know, like normal middle class people and I feel
- 20:18for them. You got to be careful with
- 20:20consumer debt. I hope you are.
- 20:22Please always be responsible. But none the less, there's a lot
- 20:25of people out there that just can't afford cars.
- 20:28There's people that owe like $75,000 in car loans and have
- 20:32cars that are worth like $40,000.
- 20:36It's called being upside down on your loan.
- 20:38So when we look at all this data, when we pull it all
- 20:40together, when we look at the charts, OK, remember what we
- 20:45looked at at the beginning from our friend North Star bad
- 20:48charts, right? We're getting a signal that's
- 20:50this is only the 4th time we've had in the last 100 years.
- 20:55When we look at what's going on with the consumer and compare
- 20:58that to, to to what the cup and handle that we have in the
- 21:01silver price. When we look at the DXY index,
- 21:05right, and all the dollars going down the and look, it is, it's,
- 21:09it's like comparing horses in a glue factory.
- 21:12But nonetheless, the DXY index does have a big opportunity to
- 21:16fall much more from where it is. When we look at the charts of
- 21:21the US debt exploding, right? And then think about that within
- 21:24the context of the value of the dollar.
- 21:27Doesn't it feel good that we are invested in the precious metals?
- 21:32Let's check in with upstairs, Susie, and see if I forgot
- 21:34anything. Upstairs Susie, Are you there?
- 21:36Over. I'm here.
- 21:40OK. Did I forget anything,
- 21:42sweetheart? No, I'm just trying to get
- 21:46people to get to 200, Mike. All right.
- 21:49Been wearing the cowbell today. I'll bring the cowbell.
- 21:52Hey, come on, guys, let's do it. You know what?
- 21:54Let's hang out in the basement together for a little while.
- 21:57All you got to do is give it a thumbs up.
- 21:59When we get to 200 upstairs, Susie will let me know.
- 22:03But in the interim, we're going to have some fun.
- 22:05This is your chance to be famous on the Internet.
- 22:08Tell me where you're joining us from.
- 22:10I'll try to read them as fast as I can.
- 22:12And once we get to 200, I will ring the cowbell.
- 22:15I see it. I'll get it.
- 22:17It's ready to go. Let's go.
- 22:19Let's go, basement dwellers. Oh, and don't forget, please
- 22:22subscribe to the to the channel. OK, Ontario.
- 22:27OK, Northridge. Hold on, Ontario.
- 22:32Thank you, Iron Ball. You guys are the best.
- 22:35Scottsdale, AZ. Maybe it's Netherlands.
- 22:39Wow. Atlanta, GA.
- 22:40I mean, we are everywhere. Crown Point IN You are famous.
- 22:44Washington State. Ohio.
- 22:46Amherst. OH, welcome.
- 22:49Wisconsin's Washington state. The moon.
- 22:52All right, my friend. Netherland.
- 22:55Bethlehem, PA. I want to go there.
- 22:57Our niece went to that college there.
- 22:59I forget what it's called. Anyway.
