Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, everyone.
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is Patrick Barney, one of the hosts of the social evolution podcast, which is what you are currently listening to.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: And we appreciate that.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: And we appreciate that.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: That guy you just heard talk is Curtis Frazier, the other host of the social evolution podcast.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: And today, I think we're going to, we're going to talk about Trump's big beautiful bill that recently passed through the Senate and which contains
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of bad shit from what I understand.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so what the social evolution podcast is primarily trying to focus on is not necessarily current event things because there's not relevant at all times.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: but this seems like it's a current event that you know could hold some future relevance as it's becoming more evident that uh... when the government gives money to rich people it's a good thing and when they take it away from poor people it's a good thing because giving money to poor people
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: is communism, socialists, horseshit, and giving money to rich people is what makes capitalism so great.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: Which I mean, I guess it is if it takes so many people
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely losing the game completely and starving to death as a homeless fuck just so that we can have more and more people that hoard more money than anyone could ever spend in their lifetime unless they were trying to in world hunger and homelessness and that sort of thing basically bring us to a more socially evolved state
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, does basically what the bill is?
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: It also apparently cuts out some money to Elon Musk, which is funny because he's wealthiest shit.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: He definitely doesn't need.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: But at least it, you know, sense them against it.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the enemy of my enemy is tolerable.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: It looks to me like the worst parts of it, just looking through an article from CBS News.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Medicaid restrictions, new Medicaid restrictions.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I think this is going to mean that four million people lose their health insurance.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: We've got four and sixty five billion dollars devoted to border security.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: So that means concentration camps, more ice officers, basically wholesale targeting brown people for being in this country.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, they've already deported people who are legal citizens.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: So this is bad.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: Rather than have, um, four and sixty five billion dollars going toward something great, like universal healthcare,
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: or universal pre-K or universal community college or community.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: We don't want healthy educated people or any one of those cool things.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Healthy educated people can sit and analyze the system they live in and support and we don't want those.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I mean they have an asylum fee for people within asylum of a hundred dollars.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well hey, at least it's only a hundred dollars.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_01]: I wonder what that is in pesos.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: uh uh this is this is just it this is just like insult added to injury really i mean giving up money and now we're gonna put you in prison people seeking asylum don't have money the majority of people are seeking asylum are gonna be poor people like it's and so you know it just makes it harder for people to enter the country
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the people Jesus would turn down.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah Jesus people who don't have money for asylum.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's the message Jesus in the book Jesus oh yeah Jesus hated because I mean we all elected Trump because he was the best Christian
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh my god.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it looks like there's restrictions on new restrictions on food stamps.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: So food foods getting a lot cheaper so they shouldn't get as much food stamps.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I mean, they tell me the price of food's going down the numbers.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: I thought those numbers were higher, but you know, we're living in nineteen eighty four again.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: So if they say that number
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: numbers lower.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, twelve eggs aren't four dollars and fifty nine cents here here in Cincinnati there they're just there you know less than a dollar like nineteen eighty four yeah it says four fifty whatever but it doesn't mean anything you're the Terminator came back to destroy us all like money doesn't mean anything that's only money so that's bad I mean then there's they're increasing the debt ceiling
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: which and you know that have to do that with the democrats increase the debt ceiling their communist piece of the
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: increases the dead ceiling.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_01]: When they have to, we have we're in a perpetual dead city.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're in a perpetual dead.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's absolutely no way to decrease the debt.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because every time they print money, they charge interest and they never print a money to pay the interest.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: One person loses a penny.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck it doesn't even matter because if we give them all of the money we have, we still owe all the interest.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: And have no money to pay it.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the system we live in because we're stupid.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know how math works.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like... So I'll come try.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think she keeps going up.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: It never used to.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, is now you're on a perpetual death system in America.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: We are, we are.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: Are you a moron?
- 5:43[SPEAKER_01]: You've been doing it for a hundred years and you're almost completely fucked.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: Do you feel good about yourself?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like there is an increase to the child tax credit with, which as a father of three children, I approve of increased tax credits.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, really, if Democrats had done
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: If Democrats had increased the child tax credit, which they probably probably did, a few times Biden, I think did.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think Trump did in his first term, you know, if Democrats do it, they would be, it would be Pinko counties.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Um, taxes aren't to give back to poor people who needed to eat and live and stuff.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: No, they're different from those rich people.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so they can sit on it like all the other money that the Ross is saying on.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, then we've got, as I tell me they're not really sitting on it.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: They're actually investing in it so they're making perpetually more fucking money.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: The more we give them, tell me that.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: That'll make me feel fucking bad.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: They are dickheads.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: They make perpetually more money that they don't put back into the economy.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, you know, making it harder on everybody else, basically.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, then we've got limits on overtime and tip deductions.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: I know some,
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: Some friends of mine at work and probably you Curtis would benefit from this.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: So what do they do for all the taxes I've paid on tips so far?
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: Because I do normally get like an, you know, an eighty cent check if anything.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: So it wouldn't go into a, like you still have to pay taxes until this would go into a fact.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, whatever I guess I'll be filed with this here.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, so that looks like the according to CBS news.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's the big things.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, those are general, very general things, but
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: By and large, pretty bad.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: We had a couple of things tossed at middle-income people, like people with kids and people who work for tips.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Which you know, those aren't bad.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna argue as I'm making me pay money on my tips, but like in all reality, like I make good fucking money and probably could afford to pay taxes.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like my take home pays like fifty grand a year.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: So being a server.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that's what I think and my job is way harder than mine.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: I got to use my brain a little bit.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: I get the steps in but it's all in the same area and they feed me.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: So like I wouldn't want to be a server.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's not right for me.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Well, not everybody can do it.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a skill trade.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it is a skill.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Everything.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't think it's a skill trade, get out there and do it, you dumb fuck.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the idea of an unskilled work is just, that's just a capitalist justification for low wages.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: You're right.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Now, we discussed this before in one of our previous episodes that
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone is sacrificing the fine item out of time that they have to be a living being and they should be compensated for that sacrifice regardless of what they do.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'd really like to know what some conservatives, you know what they think is good about this bill.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I stay in bridge.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I'm talking about non-rich conservatives.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: Back when I was a business writer for a loyalty, three, sixty, I don't know if I've mentioned that on this podcast before, but back when I was a business writer, I had a nice coworker.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: He was a perfectly reasonable dude to work with and be around.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: But he was a conservative guy.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: We could at least have conversations.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: His being argument for conservatism was that we can't have any positive duties towards other people.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: We could only have negative duties like you aren't allowed to steal.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: You aren't allowed to do this or that.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: Which was kind of his justification.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I guess maybe that's what he would say when, you know, when we devote forty-five billion dollars to anti-immigration ice stuff.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, well, these people are coming into steel.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, yeah, I don't know.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Well, see the rationalization that you're having for demonizing somewhere that you have never met and don't nothing about.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: is really just I mean you have some sort of internal hatred for people that you don't know I don't know what the condition is called but I'm sure it's something you have a problem you don't know these people but you hate them because you know you don't know anything but you know right yeah I mean you know like and and actually that's like a that's like a totally trumpy and thing I don't know if you heard about this but uh I don't know he's he's a Muslim he speaks
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: Hindi, I don't know whether he was born in Pakistan or India.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: I apologize to my listeners for not knowing this guy's birthplace.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really think your materialization zone is necessarily that important, but it is very important to most earth humans.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: Basically, this guy's in Zor Zoran, Mom Donny.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: and he recently won the Democratic primary for mayor of New York City, and he ran on a progressive platform similar to Bernie Sanders or AOC.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: Trump's response, this guy's lived in, is a U.S.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: citizen, has lived in America for like, twenty-five years, you know, since he was a kid, and Trump's response to a progressive
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: Muslim guy when in the New York let me guess he's gonna deport it exactly he's he's like we're the freest country and block we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna look in he's like we're gonna we're gonna look in the mom down he's a citizenship and you know if deportation could be on the table we'll have to find out
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: you know just because he's a he's a political enemy right that's it has a right to do that as president he has the right to murder and deport whatever the fuck he wants to anyone that he wants to literally he's the president so he he is the constitution whatever he speaks is the new law that's the case do I mean he
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's just horrible.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to destroy everything that America is in America because he's going to be a fucking slave.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be a bunch of little dumb ass slaves lined to ourselves about how great we are, which we already are.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: We already did.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: We already work harder than all the other countries for less money, less benefits, and tell each other that this is the greatest place in the world.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: Because we're Americans.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't need free healthcare and higher wages and cheaper places to live in bigger savings accounts, because I got my freedom.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: Freedom to what you retar.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think you can't do in another country that you can do here in America?
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck your chicken?
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, I don't ask fucking people.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: I would say you're wrong except that I feel like
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: There's at least a couple guys I've worked with who are like that, who are like, you know, you think we're wrong, but you've actually met as you don't have any people in your life.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like, thank God we're American where, you know, they ban African social media platform because it's run by Chinese communists.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's, you know, we're America.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: What you don't know is strange about America's y'all carrying me good.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: That means I can defend myself against the other more often carrying the good and trying to shoot me.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's what's so great in a noted country that I wouldn't have my guns.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe if we had a country where everybody wasn't so fucking toxic and pissed off and trying to make sure they were on top and somebody else was suffering we wouldn't have all these fucking needs for guns and like the thought that we have the need for such defenses because why are you so mad?
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't go through life pissed but I mean like I live the dream you know that's good for you
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: I have enough money to live on, I can drive a cool car and I don't know why you're so fucking mad.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't drive a cool car, but I do have enough money to live on.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, my kids.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: We could find you a cool car if you won't want.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: Your kids like the, yeah, the L.A.D.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: too.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you could find one of those nice and affordable, and we're talking about the Corvette.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: You don't take one out of the time, but I mean, he needs more of that.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: My, you're a look at it, my.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: L.A.D.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: too.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is, this is the synthesizer right here is, is my hobby that drains my money.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever drains the toxic thoughts, that's what it's for.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever drains the idea that you need to see someone else start to death and die so you know they're better than the year better than they are and you live in a free country.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: So basically this bill is very rich rich friendly.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a very rich friendly bill.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: I ran a rundown somewhere that said like, middle income people might see like a five hundred dollar per year increase in their wealth.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: Rich people will see like a twelve thousand dollar increase in their wealth and then the bottom like, you know, fifty percent of people will lose like a thousand bucks a year from from the bill.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that sounds about right.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: No, that makes sense.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's a shit ton of poor people to lose their thousand dollars that we can add up to the twelve percent of, you know, the top half percent that's a wealthy ruling class.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that lasts so.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of fucked up because, you know, to the middle class, you know, like five hundred bucks a year is nothing.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like five hundred bucks a year is really like, you can go out to one fancy dinner and blow five hundred bucks.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: If five hundred dollars a month for me and Tracy would be a big deal.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that'd be a big deal.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: Five hundred dollars a year.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: Not so much.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's not even fifty bucks a month.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like your kids can steal that.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: You won't notice.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: Well, thank you.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: If I kept any cash on it, it's a theoretically.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: But yes, it's possible.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like if somehow one of my kids got a hold of my, my debit card and charred something for fifty bucks.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't, but I wouldn't freak out.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't break me.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I don't know if they did it like every, every week.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, every week.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: But what if they just did it every month?
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Every month I could handle.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: And besides, we, and you've lost six hundred dollars a year.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: And besides, we spend, you know, more than that on them than a month anyway.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: We spend a shit ton on them.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: See, people are going to get to a place financially.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to have to start micro managing their finances again.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Because they're going to have to squeeze in a day.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: So then other industries are going to suffer because then that commerce isn't going to be making the money to support the economy.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: which means more people are going to be unemployed and just going to be a vicious cycle of fucking our economy basically.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: So if you would don't have the money to go out for their eight dollar lattes or whatever Starbucks cost, then Starbucks angle making enough money to pay people to stand there and be your barista.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: So they're going to close them and then the barista is going to be on unemployment or you know, trying to get my serving job.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not going to have a serving job because nobody's coming to the fucking restaurant right.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to be on unemployment.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to do anything else.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: Basically we are in we're really in the middle of of something that I won't say it's unprecedented because the upper classes in this country have been looting the lower classes since it's inception really like a century and a half yeah well since the inception of the country which is
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think that it closer than I think they're early on when you get free land or when the country would provide things for you and we didn't have perpetual inflation, I think it was a little better on poor people.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know enough.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know enough to be honest.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know enough about economic history to be able to make any comment about that to be honest.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I've looked at the value of a dollar from like, eighteen hundred until present day and then like, you know, like what that would be in relation to and how it goes up and down every single year.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: How many eggs?
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: And it used to go up and down.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, in like the eighteen fifties, our dollar had the highest buying power that it never had.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then it went down, you know, or it went, I'm sorry, it got worse after the Civil War.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then once it started to get a little bit better for us, for some reason we decided to sell out to the Federal Reserve and we've been fucked ever since.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever data is in nineteen thirteen is.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: So you're definitely one of those people who who blames like leaving the gold standard for.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: The Federal Reserve is the reason we left the gold standard.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me about that.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: Basically we had money that we printed like each state would print their money and we collected gold and that's what our value was.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: So with the federal reserve coming in, I don't know exactly how it works really, but they basically, they print the money for us and lend it to us, right?
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: So we owe them for giving us the money and they don't print the interest.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what creates the perpetual debt, perpetual inflation.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the inflation.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: Back before that, you know, like, however good the United States is doing,
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: is where our dollars are.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: So if we're selling the fuck out of, you know, corn and whatever else we made in the eighteenth seventies, that's a stuff.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and not buying a whole lot because we have everything we need, then our economy is great and the value of the spending power of our dollars is the fire.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: Right, whereas when everything that, you know, everything that we need is brought over here from like China because it's cheaper to pay them to make it than it would be to pay an American minimum wage, something they'd have to live on.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a whole system of like we're not producing as much, we're borrowing money, we're fucked.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think what I was saying was,
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: We're not living in necessarily an unprecedented time because the upper classes have almost always been looting the lower classes.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we had kings.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: But we are living at least in this country in extremely dangerous times because our main elected official is openly fascist basically.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he openly was, as long as he's the leader, he's a fashionist, right?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: He openly flouts rules.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_00]: He does illegal things openly and nobody does anything about it.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: You know, on the one hand, I'm not sure how much like people who aren't in power can do.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like if a judge says, hey Trump, you can't do this.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: You have to like try to get this guy back that you sent to an L.S.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: have a door in prison.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: Unless there's some threat of force to back that up, like we, you know, we are going to have people come and rest to you.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't do it, then there's no.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he doesn't have to do it.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he doesn't have to do it unless there's some threat of danger for him.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: And there is no threat of danger for him.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: He breaks the law.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: The judge will say, you can't break the law.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: And he says, says who?
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like us.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, what are you going to do?
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: And they're like, judge stuff.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_01]: And there's like, yeah, these nuts.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody just sits around and says, OK, I guess we're not going to seal team six this fucking retard.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to let him burn America.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, we might as well just sit here and let him butt fuck everyone in the country because that's what we're here for.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, why defend ourselves, we can just let this asshole butt fuck us basically that
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: One thing that I think is going to make or break us.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: So usually in non-presidential election years, Congress, that is the House of Representatives in the Senate, swing to the opposite direction of the president, right?
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: So whenever there's a democratic president, the house and Senate often swing conservative.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what usually happens.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: Now, not both bodies don't turn always.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it's just one that turns and if it's just one that turns, then
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: That means that no more laws for the party in control get made, but you can't do anything to the sitting president.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if both houses of Congress
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: the House of Representatives and the Senate were to turn democratic, then you can actually successfully impeach him.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: He has absolutely done illegal things.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: He absolutely should be impeached and removed from the presidency, one hundred percent.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's a criminal.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: So if it happens in the non-presidential election year that
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: both the house and the Senate swing democratic and Democrats choose to remove him from the presidency.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: That would be like a strong response.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: That would be a response saying, okay, finally there are some same people in charge.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: adults are adults in the room or are there no adults in fucking America I don't know if this is gonna happen because there's there's there's two big gifts there's the if of while we'll both houses of congress swing democratic that I'm not sure of
- 23:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm certain one of them will, but I'm not certain that both of them will.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: And if both of them do, will they have the Cajones to actually impeach the guy even though?
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he's a criminal.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: He should be removed.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's done a lot of unlawful things.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: So he should be removed.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't know that they have the Cajones to do that.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: That is the only way that I see that we fend off fascism.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: If we don't do this, then this sets a pretty horrible precedent for an only slightly less insane Republican party.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, most of them are Trump supporters anyway.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so if we get another Trump light in office after Trump,
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty bad, too.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Unless we have someone in our government who has the balls to be like, you are criminal, you need to be impeached.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: Also, we still have elections.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: We do need still need to have elections.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: And that could be something that he's like, you know, we don't have elections anymore on the thing.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what are you going to do about it?
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: You could, I mean, he can postpone elections indefinitely in cases of emergency.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, oh, yeah, there's an emergency he might not win.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that's uh, that's something that could happen to it.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: In any case, we're in a bad spot.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: This bill is overall pretty bad even if some provisions are acceptable to middle-class people.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, Trump's so horrible racist fascists and like he needs to be held accountable or we are definitely not going to be okay.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there needs to be an adult in the room.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for listening.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what do we always say?
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not going to involve, get off our rack.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: Try it.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: Get off our rack out of here.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: Go populate Mars.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: You take all the money with you.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: Go go with Elon to Mars and have as much money there as you want.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: All the money you want.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: You take all the money.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: Peace out till next time.
