- 1:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, thank you because I love you.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_02]: I love, you know, when you said yes to the show, I was like, I just felt so relaxed.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, you're such an easy guest.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know how that is though.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: You're, yeah.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have to worry about, you know, we already know each other.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to be awkward probably.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, good.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: And you're a talker, and I'm a talker, and you're still fucking smart.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_02]: So, oh my god, there's so many things going on, but before we get into politics and everything, I just want to know how are you doing, how's your life, what's going on, anything cool?
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Cool.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about cool.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Is anything ever cool?
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: Life is good.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: We took a trip to Barcelona a couple weeks ago.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: Then you got back into the country.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: We got back into the country without incident.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: It was lovely to not be here.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because nobody cares there.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody talks about it.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, you know, it's nice to take a little break.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: And we were very fortunate to be able to do that.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: And Barcelona is great.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: The beach in Catalonia is great.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: The monastery at Moncerot is like other world.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like earth, earth, changing.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: Life affirmingly awesome.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, and then I came home and I got COVID.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: So, oh, no.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm fine.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's, you know, when I get COVID, it's like, I feel stone kind of like I'm like, I'm like, I'm just kidding.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not mad of it.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but I'm like,
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's so bad.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of good.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we'll hold up.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: No, let me ask you because my dad recently got COVID.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: They took a trip like my dad and step mom took a trip on the way home.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: He got COVID and then she got COVID, but I know they took packs live in that helped, but he, you know, he was explaining that it was a really bad sore throat.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_02]: So is that what you were experiencing in this one?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, thank God because I've heard that.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: I saw like the like razor blade throat symptom and I'm like, I did not want that.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: No, I was very lucky.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: I I had like, you know, I was congested for like a day and then most of it's just tired and brain foggy.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: How much makes it right, but like about a week.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: It makes it hard to write.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's a problem.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like I can't sit down and focus on really on anything.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: So it's kind of just, you know, it's like a, you throw a week into the into the, uh, a this kind of thing, but you know, whatever.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm fine.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a little concerned because Bob went to his Star Trek convention.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_02]: He was on a panel with like Mary Trump and all these really cool people.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, he was on a plane.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was on Monday.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully everything is good.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully he didn't bring COVID home with him.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: But we just have to wait and see.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_02]: So I've never had it by the way.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: Neither has really.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe our people immune.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, some people, I think sure.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure some people are, but I also think that we are, we've absolutely been out in crowds.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: And like a couple of years ago, my sister got married.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the days, one of the things that the bride's made and everything did for her was like a big spa day.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: And oh my God, we went to this spa in Virginia.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: And it was massive.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: And there were so many people there.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: And I couldn't, I've never seen, I don't know if you've ever heard of these types of spas.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: But it was, it was the biggest thing I've ever seen in my life.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: It was this massive building.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: And there were all these different things you could do.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, it was a greedously expensive.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I was like thinking, oh, we're probably going to get COVID.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then no one did.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know, I don't know, maybe I am.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I mean, I don't know.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: Hashtag meaning, you know.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: Let's swing this into some politics and the first thing I want to talk to you about is Gavin Newsom, because no matter what anybody thinks of him as far as, you know, running for Potus in twenty twenty eight or whatever, because I, you know, he, he, he can be problematic in my opinion, but he is bringing it to this fight.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, you know, I know, I think he had
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he already had the press conference today.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: If he did, I missed it because I was busy doing other things.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: But I just wanted to kind of get your feel on what's happening with Newsom.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's taunting and trolling Trump with his all caps, you know, making fun of the way Trump talks, you know, speech and whatnot.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: So I know it's all about redistricting.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I just want to know and the jerrymandering.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: So I want to know what your thoughts are here.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, first of all, thank you for your attention to this matter.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think that has to be said.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, you know, the only, I'm waiting for him to like do the, the meme where Trump is yelling at the lawn boy.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: read district.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I just finished writing a piece and I've been reading a lot about, you know, Nazi Germany because that's fun.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, sort of the rise of Hitler and the Nazis, especially in nineteen thirty three and how it happened and
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: Not so much what Hitler did, but what people allowed him to do and kind of the history of the vibes almost.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: And one of the things that they did not have was really any kind of strong opposition leadership.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: It just was okay.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's good to know.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we have that.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you some, you know, I'm not typically a huge fan of his just not because he's bad.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: Just, you know, have people sometimes rub you the wrong way.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it's the hair gel, but whatever.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: But he's the whole time he's been playing the Trump thing very well.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's up for the fight.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we need.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: We need people that are up for the damn fight.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not just him.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's the most
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: you know, front and center.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think because of the social media, but it's also Prince Kerr and Illinois, my governor, Kathy Hulkel, basically with the redistricting said, this is a war.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's what she said.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, we didn't not see Germany did that have this kind of thing.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: We do, I think it's great.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think Mom Donnie is great.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think the role him into this whole, you know, kind of opposition force also.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: And that's something that we can get behind.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the governor's specifically are so important because
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I don't know if you know this, but Trump's lackeys control the DOJ and the FBI right now, right?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: These two, you know, Pam Bondi and Coach Patel, who he gave shares in his company, too, when he started the company, almost like he was pre-driving them, and then he puts them in these positions of power, so that the conflict of interest is off the charts, right?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: But they're never going to do anything.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: He's never going to get indicted for anything none of them are.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: on a federal level.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: So the only hope that we have for any kind of laws to be followed is the state laws, you know, and California, New York, Illinois to a lesser degree, but these are places where we can nail them.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: Any kind of financial transaction that happens goes through New York.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: So theoretically, if it's a financial crime, New York State has jurisdiction to it and can can indict and can do all this stuff.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I feel like when the time comes, if the time comes, when we're going to really rally behind people and screw the impeachment, we need to arrest the rights.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing else as we can arrest them.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's a criminal, you know.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: But in order to do that, there needs to be an enforcement mechanism.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, there just isn't an enforcement mechanism, which I think is the single most dangerous and scary thing happening.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we have our side has no enforcement mechanism.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: They have now just allocated a tremendous amount of resources towards the stormtroopers of ice.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: And that's, you know, that's really, really scary because they don't have anything to do.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's useful.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're just going around terrorizing people, you know, for bonuses and stuff.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: So it's, that's probably to get back to your question.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: Newsom is great.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: And he, on the social media, he referred to Ron DeSantis as the thirst queen.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: That's fucking awesome.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: I love it so much.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: I can't even, right?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I just have a little bastard in my pants.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, I had to say that.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's so good on somebody else's.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: So good for him because this is not like, you know, if all you do is go high, the opposition and the bad guys know you're going high.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then they can ambush you and do all these terrible things.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know what you're going to do.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: And they see that you're willing to meet them where they are and take the battle to where they are.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, we have to Malcolm X this stuff, man.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: And he means necessary.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this is really a dire situation that we're in.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that's it.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know, you and I are talking about this.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is bad.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, the thing is, is, okay, I'm going to take new some governor's, the ones that you mentioned as well as,
- 10:24[SPEAKER_02]: Just voters, the people, because right now, like we saw in Los Angeles, people stood up to ICE.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: Now I wanted to ask you, and they're standing up to ICE now in DC.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: And you told me that you're researching Nazi Germany.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: So was there anything like this going on?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: Was there a resistance on the ground to the Nazis?
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think I mean initially, you know, maybe at some point, but no, I think a lot of what happened is that it just, you know, it came pretty quickly, you know, Hitler took over in January, uh, thirty of the nineteen thirty three.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: So he had a ten Trump as a ten day head start if you're gone by.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, parallels and by, you know, April or May, they're already, you know, by April first, they're already like boycotting Jewish businesses and rounding people up.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: The Gestapo wasn't formed until April, I think, but or May, but.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, Gustavo is a truncation of basically secret state police.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it means.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: And ice is the secret state police.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's what they've become.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm sure it said in this book that I read, which is called Defying Hitler by Sebastian Haffner.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think everybody must read this book.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's so important.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: it's a memoir that he wrote in nineteen thirty nine before the war he's a guy from Berlin lived in Berlin and he's chronicling all this stuff that happened in uh... you know in nineteen thirty three and they're just you know there wasn't the pushback he said there were might maybe individuals who stood up
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, when, and he gave the example of one of the opposition people, that the, you know, the, whoever they were, they weren't, I guess the Gestapo yet came into his house and tried to drag him away.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: He did try to shoot at them because he didn't know who they were and they were in his house in the middle of the night.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what you do.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: But then they, you know, killed him and his family and a bunch of other people.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: So, but, you know, that's one guy standing up, not effectively.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: There was no comprehensive movement.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: There certainly wasn't anybody like Newsom or, you know, Hocal or Mamdoni or AOC or anybody like that.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: And that was in any way functional.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll get that from the things.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's the problem of thing.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully, yeah.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, I also, I want to just completely switch the subject because I want to ask you, even though it's kind of related.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, we are singing these governors standing up and governors are incredibly important.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: And then we've also got this resistance from just the people.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: And so,
- 12:58[SPEAKER_02]: There's the Democratic Party.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: I feel that the Democratic Party is still not totally united and have a cohesive, we're fighting down the fascist messaging.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think more and more.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: are coming on board, and then we saw, I guess it was last week, that the Texas Democrats all walked out.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so just now, democracy, docket, is saying an Illinois judge denies Texas A.G.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_02]: Ken Paxon petition to enforce arrests against the Texas House Democrats in Illinois, ruling that Illinois lacks the authority to compel the bubble.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: So we are seeing rulings against what
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: Texas is trying to do it's like Texas is just oh my god the leaders there are fucking insane but I mean we're we're seeing some backbone from the Democratic Party in Texas and I'm wondering my question here is like I just want to know what you think of the party altogether and then also do you think that
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: that these, whether it's new summer, Pritzker, or AOC, or any of these people, in addition to some of these rulings against what Republicans are doing, do you think that it will, I guess, what's the word?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like, will it inspire more Democrats to kind of rise to that level?
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: They're not all going to be new some, but you know, as far as fighting back.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what they're gonna, I have no ability to predict what somebody like Chuck Schumer is gonna do.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're playing the, you know, there's that expression like the, the generals are always fighting the last war.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what they're doing.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: Hit him and Hakeem Jeffries and Pelosi and they're fighting the last war.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: That shit is over.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: This is not the same thing we're not dealing with.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: the quote unquote Republican party we're dealing with fascists and you know there are functionally Nazis okay yes they are and you know and right down to the highlighting and all that kind of stuff so
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we have to act accordingly.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't done it.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's been so goddamn frustrating as you know, and we've talked about this, like even throughout the presidential campaign and all of that, you know, just not enough, like Biden, I think, for the first three years, that a pretty good job as president, but he didn't grasp the threat, I don't think.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think Obama grasped the threat.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think Obama still doesn't grasp the threat, honestly.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: of what could happen here.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I think like, you know, I don't know what's gonna happen.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: Probably assuming we get through this and stave off the fascist in Persian, which is not by any means again.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think both parties are gonna have to sort of fall apart and re-constitute.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: There needs to be two parties in the country that it's baked into our constitution.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: The government can't function.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: The federal government can't function unless there are two parties who are all in it, you know, pulling in the same direction for the country.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: And it hasn't been that way in a long, long time.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: We have one party that all they do is obstruct.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: They never do anything else.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: They do tax cuts and obstruction.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's all they do.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: And retrograde weirdo judges.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, to try to like give them more power.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's not how democracy works.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: you know, even in the days of before the Civil War didn't work that way.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, there's no excuse for it.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: But people refuse to see what's happening because I think because they're just called the Republicans.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, if you go into the Spanish Civil War, the Republicans were the good guys.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like it's a misnomer.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's not what it used to be.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like think of it like it's really, you know, there's zombies.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's the zombie Republican party.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: In that it's dead.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's been taken over by an evil, corrupting force and, you know, it, that's it.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's not what it used to be.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_00]: And the same way I think RFK is a zombie.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, if you, if you look like people who knew him and were friends of them are like, he changed, he changed, he changed.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think the brainworm got to him and he's literally just, he's not the same person anymore.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's just an evil zombie at this point.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I don't know.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know when they're going to wake up like we don't want to get to the point where they're like arresting politicians who oppose Trump.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: We don't want to get to the point where there's violence, you know, where they're shooting people.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: We don't want to get to the point where they're having the national guard guard all the election places.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: Guard in quotes.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: We're just, you know, mass arresting enough people in various purple districts on election day to make it so they can't.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: There's lots of ways that they can fuck with the vote without tampering with the machines.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're in power.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: So all of this stuff we have to assume, they're going to do the worst and pretend that we're already there and act accordingly.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, fun.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it can't be fun, you know.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: Um, wow, you know, I mean, I part of this as, you know, I see so many people in social media expecting everything out of our democratic leaders and I understand that, you know, we've elected them and
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: We expect certain things and obviously they are limited in what they can do legislatively.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously what they would have to do is it's all about messaging and obstruction, which they're not always doing.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: But I also think it's really important to recognize that the voters were the ones who employ everybody.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we need to take as voters more responsibility.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: People just want to participate
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I'm talking to all the people out there right now who are probably already doing things.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's like the half the country that's not even paying attention.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, even the voters that are listening, you know, you can't just show up to a midterm and show up to
- 19:11[SPEAKER_02]: a general election and think I've done everything I can do.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: Because right now there's so many other things we can do.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: Mark Elias is a good person to follow to keep up what's going on.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: But then you can follow like indivisible.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: You can follow all these different groups, even.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I dem cast.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: They have all kinds of actionable things where you know, we need to keep if we want the democratic party, I guess this is what I'm trying to say.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: If we want the democratic party to have more backbone,
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's up to the voters to make them feel that way.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, they have donors and they have things behind the scenes going on.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: But if they want to be re-elected, if they want to feel secure, they need to feel the pressure from the voters.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's literally on us.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: I wish we had a better think tank and I wish we had better messaging.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it really boils down to, well, not only boils down to, but one of the big parts of it is I think people just kind of only show up every once in a while
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then they expect our leaders to do everything, and they can't do everything because we're up against, as you know, whether it's Fox News and News Max, and then there's that whole, you know, machine, the right-wing machine online, and they're very, very organized.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: And what they do is they use human psychology, where I don't see Democrats doing that.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: I see Democrats, oh, we need to be hopeful.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: We need to be inspirational.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_02]: And that's all finding good.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not putting that down.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: But I think our side needs a little bit more human psychology because people are pretty simple.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: And we're motivated mostly by fear.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that Rachel Bittacoff is really good at telling everybody, hey, they're going to fuck you up.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: Here's how to fix it.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: And I would like to see more Democrats with that kind of behavior, whether you're a leader or a voter.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_02]: So that's my take on that.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: I agree to some degree, but I feel like the whole Dems suck at messaging thing is a little bit overblown.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Democrats are fine at messaging.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: There's no media outlet that just does what the Democrats say all the time.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: They have a tremendous advantage with messaging because the Republican messaging is the same as the newsmax.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: All this Facebook shit.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you know, people want to know what to do.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: Most people have no fucking idea what's happening right now.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: My poor mother is being driven insane by people that my mother was never political ever until basically, you know, Trump took over this time.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: And she's looking around, she lives in, you know, in New Jersey and, and,
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: People she's known for years, people in our family are just supporting the guy, but they don't know what's happening.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: And it drives her nuts like, because they just, you know, Fox is poisoning their brain.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: This one woman who she's known since elementary school is like, well, did you hear about these Democrats and Texas running away?
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think of that?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: And my mom's like, well, you know, that's, they're doing it because they're trying to prevent this very, you know, fascist thing.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: But what about like, doesn't the Jeffrey Epstein stuff bother you?
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: And this woman was like, who?
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, which, that's, that's a level of ignorance that is staggering, because even mentioned that, Q and on is mentions it and Fox, I know does not fully ignore.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: But like,
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: Anybody listening to this, don't assume people know anything.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: There's people don't know shit.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: I remember Alice and Gil are friends, said, at one of the events, I forget when that was last year of the year before, most people don't know who Roger Stone is.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: And she's right.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: There's these little, we get, we, you, me, you know,
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: people on our side who are actively online and and all this stuff tend to get lost in the in the weeds a little bit with this guy and that guy's connection and that can and that's all good.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: We have to keep doing that.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_00]: but people don't know stuff like basic things.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know basic things.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think maybe that is also the Democrats problem.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: They're out there like teaching like trigonometry and people don't know how to add and subtract it.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's so true.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's not that I want to bag on the Democrats.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I just think the Democrats would, it would serve Democrats a little bit more to use human psychology and their messaging rather than, you know, I saw something somebody said like,
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's one, like Democrats want to be right, but we have to focus on winning.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, yes, we have to explain to people why we're right.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's important, but we can't get so lost in only being right.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: We have to understand that people are moved by fear.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: If you're not afraid of what's going to happen,
- 24:05[SPEAKER_02]: You may not show up to vote.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: And it's all the degrees of how political you may be.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: If you're not political at all, that's, okay, let's just put them aside.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, there's a bunch of people that would just like maybe show up to the elections before.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if you've shown up to the elections before, now you've got to start calling.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to add on to what you're doing.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: and I think that like the party and then not just the party because the party they have their own specific job.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_02]: Most of the messaging coming out of the Republican party isn't coming from the party.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's coming from people like not Roger Stone but I can't think of the guy's name but he's such a jerk and he's like the he's the one who does a lot of the messaging for them and I just can't think of his name right now and I'll think of it later but either way it doesn't matter because they put all this through think tanks and I know Democrats have think tanks but they're still not utilizing human psychology and I think that we should because that's what
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, when you find out how to get to where people are living and fearful and let them know, here's what you could lose.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're more motivated to act than, you know, just the Democrats sending some inspiring message, which I'm not, I'm not saying that's all they're doing because they're not.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: They are, I'm seeing more punch.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: with their social media.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm seeing obviously Gavin Newsom and people like Pritzker and Walls and even people to judge who's just so calm and measured.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_02]: I really do think that they, and of course, I'm going to add AOC and Jasmine Crocket, all of them have their own individual style, but what they all do is come at this with some backbone.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to say balls because it makes it sound patriarchal, but still, you know what I mean?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: I know what you mean, yeah.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we, you know, but the other thing, I mean, it's hard to craft a message based on even a theater based one like that.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: They said, you know, if these guys come, you're going to lose these three rights.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because what people say on their side, and I know this, because this is what people in my family say, ah, it's never going to happen.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's never going to take away the gay marriage thing.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well, what makes you say what delusional, you know, is very easy until something happens to suggest otherwise, to just pretend everything's fine and everything's going to go away, both sides are the same and all that bullshit.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, you're relying on people's imaginations to imagine what would happen if, you know, Social Security went away, Medicare went away or
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know, your elderly grandmother has to suddenly move in with you, because the nursing home won't take whatever.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: All of these scenarios that are very much in play, people cannot, I think they lack the ability for whatever reason.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: I've laid my thumbs.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: And the lack of emphasis on humanities, by the way, and the people, one of the things about reading a novel is you have to read it and imagine stuff.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes imagining stuff is useful.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, this could happen.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, obviously, that's an I agree with you.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: One of the things I saw Rachel Bittacoffer say and or she said this on my show where she was like, I'm just going to say they're coming for your social security and she goes, every time I do that, I, you know, somebody comes on and goes, well, actually,
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: This is Boa and it's a democratic explaining things and explaining how it's not that simple.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, her whole thing is like, let's just be hyperbolic right now.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: We have to be hyperbolic because they are coming for our social security.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: And it may not happen with one kind of a piece of legislation, but over time they will look to get rid of it.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: And so we just have to worry about all the specifics.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's not to say that we have to lie, but it's just that we have to fight the way they fight.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: We have to do it with conviction and also honesty, but we have to make people believe.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: And you're right, though, because my aunt said to me the other day, and she's mega.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: I said that I have a friend who is suffering all kinds of disease and ailment.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: And she would be completely destroyed if Medicare was gone.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: And so my aunt said to me, oh, it's not going anywhere.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what the fuck she hears on like Newsmax or whatever she listens to.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I, you know, I wasn't at that point going to argue with her because it's absolutely pointless to try to debate her about anything.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, I mean, that's the whole thing.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: But my argument against anybody else is rovy weight because all we heard all the time.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: And we even heard it from liberal men telling us, oh, they're never going to get rid of it because they want to, you know, use it.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: to campaign and fundraise and all this.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, well, they can, I knew it.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't need it as law to fundraise because now they can fundraise on don't let the Democrats come back and make this legal again.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_02]: So they always have an argument to fundraise.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just, it's so upsetting to see that so many people are just willing to go, oh, it's just going to go away.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, no, it's not.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God, it's just, I don't know.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I've got another question for you.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm slightly afraid to ask this.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: But you're the one who wrote it.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: And I want you to talk a little bit about what you wrote about Melania.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_00]: Let's be very careful when we talk about Melania.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: The reality about Melania is that she has been with Donald Trump since
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: and in the most popular picture of Trump and Epstein and Galane Maxwell, she's right there.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_00]: She is sandwiched between Jeffrey and Donald in that photo, looking very dazed and confused, but she's there.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: She's photographed.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of pictures of her hanging out with these guys.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: At that time, I think she and Trump were not yet
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, at the point in the relationship where they are now, you know, where they were, from what I saw based on my reading of the old tabloids and such, you know, they were with each other a lot.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: And therefore, when Epstein was around and they were partying with Galane, Malania was there.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so that's my only point.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: She's there.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody talks to her about it.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody asks her about it.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: Nope.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's no, uh, why?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, she was there.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: Did she not know?
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, but I would like to know and she, you know, to the best of my knowledge.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that she's put out of statement.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: Deming it or anything like that.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: No, she hasn't.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: She's just doing anybody who wants to say anything about her.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, which is, you know, makes me wary, but I, I basically quoted her own book when I was talking about the things that you're not supposed to talk about.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I think if I quote Melania saying this, I can she come after me for like, you set yourself.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I,
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't find her very interesting generally.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_00]: And here to four, I've ignored her because frankly, it doesn't hear like she's around very much anyway.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: But she does.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: The reality is she does have some influence over Donald.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_00]: He is afraid of her a little bit.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: And if she really wants something and she pushes for it, you know, she gets it.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: She helped win him the election in twenty sixteen.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_00]: After the Axis Hollywood tape, she went on, and this is in the Mary Jordan biography, which is very good.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: She went on Anderson Cooper, and you know, basically made excuses for him.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: She did a campaign event in Pennsylvania, and he barely won.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: So without that, I mean, we don't have a counter art, you know, which is no way to know for sure, but she helped him win.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: And right now, also, she has the power to take it down.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: So why doesn't she, you know, I don't know.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what the answer is.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: It may be that they're just simpatico, you know, in terms of their level of evil and greed, that seems to be the case.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: That does seem to be the case.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: but I've never met her.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_00]: Although she's not much older than me and she hung around in the same places in New York that I like she kind of grew crazy.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: Where I was a lot for a very short period of time when she first moved to the city in nineteen ninety six and not nineteen ninety five.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_00]: Let's be clear nineteen ninety six.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: We don't want to ever make that mistake.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's strange.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: The whole thing is very weird with her.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I think she needs to be putting the spotlight a little bit.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: Why is she giving her free pass about the Epstein stuff?
- 32:55[SPEAKER_00]: Well, because I'm not saying she did anything wrong.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what I'm saying.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: But she was there.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: She saw it.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what did you think of the guy?
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_00]: What did you think when Donald kept hanging out with him all the time?
- 33:10[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, what you're you're suing on to ride and about this thing, but tell us your side of the story.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if that's not like, why would he say that?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: Why would have said that if it's not true?
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like, is he just trolling?
- 33:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why do you think he would say, like, I would like her to answer question.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like, not not questions that would get her in trouble with the law.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: Just questions that would
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, make the whole situation become, become clearer to those of us trying to parse through it.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's, well, obviously the oligarch own media is leaving her alone.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, unless, unless there's somebody who has the,
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: you know, power to do that or just, you know, maybe I wish Lawrence O'Donnell, but I mean, would she even sit down or allow them to ask her those questions?
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, where the fuck is she?
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: She doesn't have to.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't have to.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I wouldn't have.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: But people, I mean, if pressure is put, maybe something will come out of that.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: Did you know she has an older sister?
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: Did you know?
- 34:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think I did through your writing, but that's only through your writing.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's no longer just her tears.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, there's always been with her wherever she's gone.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, she's a strange person.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I've had my theories and I've wondered about her and, you know, I mean, I wondered about the Epstein thing or what wasn't so much Epstein in the first term, but, you know, just to be careful and not, you know, one of the
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: But certain things that I wondered were immediately smacked down by certain people because they just hated her.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like, you know, when you take a look at somebody like Melania or any of them, like Galena's well, like somebody, okay, like, here's the best way to describe it.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: I saw somebody
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: run the theory that maybe Galane was groomed and ultimately became the bad person.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_02]: Now I'm not saying she was or she wasn't or anything.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_02]: I have no idea this was just some rando on social media going maybe this happened.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: And so
- 35:16[SPEAKER_02]: The thing that I see so much on social media and the reactions to something like that is, well, she's just horrible and I don't care.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like if I were a doctor or like a psychologist and I were taking a look and interviewing her,
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: It wouldn't be from this emotional point of view where I hate her and I feel like, you know, she, she abused children, blah, blah, blah.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: I would want to come from, you know, take a motion out of it and just and have no judgment.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: People can't seem to do that.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's interesting because right now on Netflix there are
- 35:55[SPEAKER_02]: There's a show called Conversations with Jeffrey Dahmer.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_02]: And so it was the woman who was in charge of that case.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_02]: And she described herself kind of like starling from silence of the lambs.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, you know, I had to go in there with no judgment.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I just had to, she goes, sometimes I felt like I was his sister, sometimes I felt like I was mother, sometimes I felt like I was therapist.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_02]: But she couldn't judge him.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: And you listen to what that person says.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, what he did was horrible and evil.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: But then there was a psychology behind it.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: And so there is a psychology behind Galane.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_02]: There is a psychology behind Melania.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if we're ever going to know for sure if any of them were groomed or victims.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: But if they were, that doesn't excuse any kind of behavior, it just may be points.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_02]: like psychologically to how our brains work.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I just think it's interesting and I was wondering about that in the first term.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_02]: And again, most people wanted to shoot me down because they just hated her and they just wanted to write her off as evil.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, hey, yeah, she is evil.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to argue that.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_02]: But like, was she born that way?
- 36:59[SPEAKER_02]: Was she fucking born evil or did she come?
- 37:02[SPEAKER_02]: You talked about her family and her father is very much like Trump.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: There's all kinds of things that are weird and iffy in her story.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't know where it all comes from, but the end result is her behavior is abhorrent and it's awful.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: And yes, she's disgusting.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't know.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's kind of fascinating like what makes women
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: I know Patriarch, you know that, but like what makes women like them go along with this?
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: In some of these reports, Galane was molesting these girls as well.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, I mean, I don't know, like again, was she born this way?
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that some people don't give a shit, but I just, from a human psychology point of view,
- 37:41[SPEAKER_02]: These are the people that are ruling our conversations and thoughts today.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know, I'm just kind of curious and throwing that out there that it's not always about we have to hate them and then close the door.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes it's interesting like listening to these conversations with Jeffrey Dahmer gives you an insight.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: into his head.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: And the crazy thing about him, just a quick little sidetrack, is that of all this serial killer crap that I've ever seen.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: He's the only one that says, I don't know why I have this compulsion.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_02]: I knew it was wrong.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have any empathy, and I did these horrible things, but he didn't like that he did them.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: And the fact that he didn't like that he did them.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't strong enough to overcome the compulsion to do them.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_02]: And he did fucking unbelievably horrible.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_02]: But he wasn't coming from like Richard Ramirez who was another serial killer.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: He seemed to just be coming from evil.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_02]: He was fucking evil.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_02]: Jeffrey didn't come.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the things he did was evil.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: But he was like, and he said, I need to stay in jail.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you let me out, I'm gonna do it again.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_02]: I just thought it was fascinating.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, I wish there was some way we could psychologically observe these women.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: And find out like what makes you behave this way to stay with these people?
- 39:05[SPEAKER_02]: Are you fearful?
- 39:07[SPEAKER_02]: Have you just become so hardened?
- 39:09[SPEAKER_02]: Was this in you already?
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you for letting me go off on that ramp.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_02]: But it was just something I've been wondering about.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_00]: And the other thing, the thing with Galane, you have to remember, is also she's a liar.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: She purged herself constantly.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I know somebody who met her before, she's a name dropper.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know, she's like my dad, my dad.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my dad.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: She's one of those people.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, you can just throw that into your, uh, your analysis.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: The psychology, as for Melania, I mean, you know, she grew up in communist Yugoslavia.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: So you have to, you have to give her slack for that because that's a very, very different upbringing where things where, you know, money and and nice stuff is much harder to come by and you know, it's a whole different thing.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, she did not leave Slovenia to go model in Milan and Paris until she was like, twenty-two.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: She wasn't like a fourteen-year-old doing that.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: She was older.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, not that that says anything one way or the other, but that is objectively a fact.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, she did do some modeling with her mom, you know, when her mom would wear her places, but nothing like, right, you know, going to Casablancus or something like that.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like even like what Ivanka did.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, just something to keep in mind.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: Well, in the last thing, I just want to say tying into the Epstein thing.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: So when this whole, okay, let's go back to June where Elon Musk said Trump is in the Epstein files, right?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_02]: So he throws this out there and it kind of brings the conversation.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know when it really, really took fire sometime in July.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: It started with that spark, I think, and then it just got bigger and bigger and bigger.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: And then what we were seeing is people like Candace Owens and even Steve Bannon freaking out saying, you know, wait a minute, you said that there were files, and now you're saying there's no files, and are you lying to us?
- 41:08[SPEAKER_02]: And it seemed as if Maga was starting to turn on Donald Trump.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_02]: But when we look at his approval numbers right now, they haven't dropped.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_02]: So with the Republican Party.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 41:21[SPEAKER_02]: I, and I kind of thought about this.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I thought, I don't know, because what they're going to do is they're going to figure out a way, and this is what they're doing right now.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to take all, you know, Donald's name out, and they're just, and Keith Edwards had a very viral post that said something like, um, you know, they're only going to name Democrats in a few billionaires.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_02]: And, and then they're just going to, and they're going to make a Galena victim and all of that.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_02]: So of course, that's what they do.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: And I figured they would.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I figured that Maga would basically eat it up.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: But the thing is, is the Epstein thing isn't going away because there are, you know, you can't just say it's Democrats.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's more than just Democrats because there's all these independence in the mix as well.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_02]: So there are all these people who are, I mean, Democrats are, or I should say the left is keeping this alive.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_02]: But my question to you is, initially, everybody, you know, people are thinking, hmm, it's just going to be the thing that divides maga and it doesn't look that way.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_02]: So how do you think, where do you see this going in any particular direction?
- 42:25[SPEAKER_02]: Do you see it?
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't think no one's ever going to get arrested for this, at least not doing this regime.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, do you see this hurting Donald Trump or the Republican Party?
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, it's pretty awful.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, QAnon made the Epstein thing a major part of its entire cyop.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: So the QAnon faction of maga does not like this.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll continue to not like it for as long as there's no files released.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the guy was at the best case scenario for Trump is that he was best friends for fifteen years with the most notorious child sex trafficking rapist.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe of all time, and allowed him to use Mara Lago to steal.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's his word, Steve.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: Girls for him to sex traffic and rape.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: That's the best case scenario.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, but somebody wrote this on BlueSkyk in response to something I wrote about this.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_00]: My cameraman, who it is, and I apologize, but the person said, you realize if this doesn't take him down, nothing ever will.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: And it's over.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that's true.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: If there's proof that you're like in cohoots with child sex trafficking rapy guy and you're raping girls and nobody cares, that's it.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: We're done as a society.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: We might as well just put a fork in it.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that, you know, to your point about messaging,
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: Dems can't let it go.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: Independence can't let it go.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Women can't let it go.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: And guys can't let it go either.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: Disgusting.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, will anything come out of it?
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if the midterms are going to be fair or not.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know if there's going to be a presidential election in twenty.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: I who knows what's going to happen down the line.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: But Trump doesn't like this.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: It stresses him out.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, sooner or later, you know, I wish I had written it.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: Somebody wrote what was it?
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: Clots and prayers, you know?
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: Sooner or later, he's going to have a quarter pounder with cheese that's going to do the trick.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, the stress exacerbates that.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, exactly.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I'm, uh, that's going to be, I just want to be alive when that happens.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's be a great day.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Well, a lot of people, many people are saying, great.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: Many people are saying, um, there, no, there, there seems to be this kind of thing that I hear, no matter who I talk to, people do not believe he's going to make it this entire term.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: Some people will say, they don't think he's going to make it this year.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: Some people, including me, I always said, I'm just been repeating this over and over, but when it was between Trump and Biden, I didn't think either one of them was gonna make it for four years.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_02]: Because the stress of the presidency is so grand, and obviously the stress that Donald Trump feels is so different than somebody like Biden, because Biden cares.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: Trump's stress comes from, you know, it's coming from abstine.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's coming from different places, but it's still a very stressful job no matter whether you're corrupt or not.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I believe that his, you know, unhealthy diet and unhealthy ways.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: Clearly the guy he's got the cancels and all that, he's not well.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_02]: So I guess we're just going to have to wait and see because there is this, I don't know.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to call it a sentiment, but
- 45:58[SPEAKER_02]: People don't think he's gonna last, so we're all just kind of waiting.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_02]: Every day we wake up, every day, every day I wake up and I look up my phone and I'm like, did it happen?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, but.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's today the day.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_02]: But I know you gotta go and I'm just so grateful that you give me any time I love talking to you.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_02]: So before I let you go, please tell everyone where to find you.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for having me on.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's always great to catch up and hear your thoughts on all the stuff that's happening all this crazy.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: I just every day, by the way, you see we wake up with every day, I shake my head.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot believe that this is happening.
- 46:36[SPEAKER_00]: or can believe that every day.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: Every day.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's so baffling that like, you know, that the pig set is in charge of it.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's just all of it is crazy, crazy, crazy.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, here we are.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: I am on Substack.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: You could find me at Substack at Greg Oliar.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_00]: Substack.com.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: I have a bunch of books.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: You can go by.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: You can find them wherever books are sold.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: Although you're going to have to ask the booksellers to order them because they don't usually stock my stuff.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: I have a podcast on the excellent Miller Shiro podcast network.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: And you can find me Friday nights at APM on YouTube, the why with my friend Stephanie Kauff, aka LB.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's where I'm at.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_00]: And of course I'm on Blue Sky Twitter.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: and all over.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, all right, cool.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I have all of your bona fides, or at least some of your bona fides in the description of the Patreon.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you Greg again and we'll talk soon.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so much for having me.
