- 0:29Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30Today we are talking about decisions, you, make and
- 0:34co-creating and what that all means, big conversation, but
- 0:38we're going to try to break it down, just a tad and see if we
- 0:42can get some clarity on at least my beliefs of it.
- 0:45Because I think I, you know, I have been exposed to lots of
- 0:50different beliefs on this subject, and I think that, what
- 0:55has I've learned, has served me and I want to share it with all
- 0:57of you. So there is a debate, Going on
- 1:01about, you know, people in the world will love to talk about
- 1:06how they don't have choices. Things just seem to happen to
- 1:10them and I am of the belief that sometimes things do happen.
- 1:15You know, I was 10 years old and my dad had a heart attack and I
- 1:21didn't have any control over that.
- 1:23I had no control over that whatsoever.
- 1:25However he had some control over that he didn't have to smoke.
- 1:30He didn't have to eat the way he ate, and he didn't have to make
- 1:35the choices he made for himself in those conditions that caused
- 1:39his body, to get the way that it was.
- 1:42Now, we could sit here and debate all day long if he
- 1:45understood it, if he knew about it, if he was informed, did the
- 1:49cigarette companies? Inform them back in the 70s that
- 1:52this is, what was going on. Probably not.
- 1:57But were there signs that he was not well.
- 2:00Just he took high blood pressure medication.
- 2:04Was he seeing a doctor for it? Yes.
- 2:06Did a doctor? Tell him to stop smoking.
- 2:08Yes. Did he continue to smoke?
- 2:09Anyway, yes. So was I a victim of the
- 2:14situation or was I a victim of his choices and you got to know.
- 2:19I mean I'm talking about somebody that was my person.
- 2:21My father was my person. I loved him more than I can
- 2:25can't even explain. So this isn't about putting
- 2:28blame on anyone. This is about.
- 2:30Operating with awareness and the understanding of what choices
- 2:35you make as a person affect other people in ways, when they
- 2:40don't have anything to say about it, IE kids.
- 2:43However, most adults have lots of different options and lots of
- 2:48different choices. I think lots of things that
- 2:51happen to you, when you're a kid but you're right, we don't have
- 2:54a lot of control over those. What we do have control over
- 2:57though, is what we believe about them.
- 3:00We Have control over them, we can take that, you know, as an
- 3:05adult and say this is what that event meant to me.
- 3:09This is how I assign it or I can stay in that mentality of what
- 3:13it brought to me and and suffer my entire life for something
- 3:17that happened when I was a kid. And I am of the belief that we
- 3:22have been given the universe has given us the ability to imagine
- 3:26to create to have emotions and feelings that are Beyond.
- 3:30Any other creatures that we know of, although there is some
- 3:33debate about that because elephants and other animals that
- 3:39are highly intelligent animals dolphins, have been shown to
- 3:43have very similar types of capabilities.
- 3:48We just don't know, the fullest extent of it yet because the
- 3:50science hasn't caught up with it.
- 3:52However, I'm a firm believer that, you know, anything is
- 3:55possible and that's maybe that's true.
- 3:57Anyway, back to what I was saying.
- 3:59I think that We have once we have the awareness at whatever
- 4:05age, that is whatever age, your awareness starts to develop, you
- 4:09start to be able to create thoughts and push yourself
- 4:13forward with them. So, if your awareness comes in,
- 4:16I know when I was a child that awareness of him, almost dying
- 4:21did change my perspective and did it make me a different
- 4:24person? 100%?
- 4:26Am I was I grateful for that. Yeah, really was And even though
- 4:31my mother was so anxious all the time, my mother's anxiety,
- 4:36helped me to learn anxiety. But what that did in turn was
- 4:39help me to be a really, really driven person to get rid of it.
- 4:44And it helped me to be a better Coach help.
- 4:48Everybody else out of it. So, there are ways and
- 4:51perspectives that you can attach to anything.
- 4:53Now, could I have attached? I suffered from this when I was
- 4:56a child and it was a terrible thing and I continue to suffer
- 5:00for it. My all Life.
- 5:01Yeah, but guess what? That's what the whole thing of
- 5:04Freewill imagination. Creativity does for us, it gives
- 5:09us the ability to co-create and I was not going to stay in a
- 5:13mentality of a victim. I was not a victim of anything.
- 5:17Nothing. I am I have the ability to
- 5:21change what I believe and I think that's what's so
- 5:24empowering about having this and that's why I'm talking about it.
- 5:28I mean, is it a controversial subject to talk?
- 5:30Talk about? Yeah, it is because some people
- 5:33want to stay in that place of. Oh, this happened to me instead
- 5:38of, you know what it happened. And I have a choice about what I
- 5:41believe about it. I have a choice about what I can
- 5:43take from it. I have a choice about how I want
- 5:45to cultivate myself from this. Moving forward.
- 5:49I don't have to choose to think that this happened as the phrase
- 5:54goes. And again, the see, even this
- 5:56phrase is controversial to some people, it happened to me.
- 6:01Is is the way they choose, but the phrase that I always like to
- 6:03say as well, did it happen for you or to you?
- 6:06And some people get really into it, just pissed off about that
- 6:10phrase because they're like, well how could it happen for me?
- 6:13I mean, this is terrible, but those moments give you the
- 6:17ability to shape its kind of like that whole thing about a
- 6:21pearl does not form unless it's under the pressure of that
- 6:25oyster creating it, a diamond does not form unless it's that
- 6:30It's under the pressure of turning that coal into that
- 6:33diamond and sometimes the pressure comes from the pains.
- 6:37And sometimes the pressure is what we need.
- 6:40Sometimes things crack Under Pressure, but I think the
- 6:43interesting thing about human beings as we have the choice, we
- 6:47do have the choice. We do have the choice.
- 6:51So I'm just throwing it out there for some food.
- 6:53For thought today, you have the choice about your situations
- 6:56about what you believe about them and what you want to see
- 6:59and what you want to focus on. On.
- 7:00So you can co-create with the universe.
- 7:03You can co-create with God and you can make decisions and move
- 7:07forward in such a powerful way. So, I hope you have a great day
- 7:10co-creating and I hope that this is helpful to you to hear some
- 7:15different perspectives on this. And I hope you have a blessed
- 7:20day. I'll see you tomorrow.
- 7:21Bye.
