The Amber Room was an opulent, baroque chamber made entirely of six tons of amber, gold leaf, and mirrors. Once dubbed the "Eighth Wonder of the World", it was famously looted by Nazi Germany during World War II and disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Several searches have been done to find this elusive treasure only for them to yield no results. Since then, the Amber Room mystery has become a mystery of barrel aged proportions.
