John 15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” After telling His disciples the new commandment, to love as He loved them, Jesus explained how they were going to be able to obey. He was going to the Father to prepare a place for them so that He could live and love in them through the Holy Spirit. In chapter 15, Jesus chose the metaphors of a vinedresser and a grape vine to further explain how they were going to bear fruit for the glory of God.
