- 0:37Speaker 2: radio refreshment, Ron Edwards.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Good Day, Good day, Hello, and how are you. I'm
- 1:01Speaker 1: not Edwards and you are listening to the Run Edwards
- 1:03Speaker 1: American Experienced Talk Show. It's great to be back with you.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I hope you had a wonderful weekend. And life is
- 1:11Speaker 1: good at least for most of us, including more and
- 1:15Speaker 1: more New York City residents, according to recent stories. According
- 1:21Speaker 1: to Mayor Adams, they're boasting about the lowest number of
- 1:26Speaker 1: shootings and murders and recorded history in New York City
- 1:30Speaker 1: over the span of the past five months. Now Fox
- 1:34Speaker 1: News reports from January first through May thirty first of
- 1:37Speaker 1: this year, there were two hundred and sixty four recorded
- 1:41Speaker 1: shootings in one hundred and twelve homicides. Now, the previous
- 1:44Speaker 1: lows were two hundred and sixty seven shootings in twenty
- 1:47Speaker 1: eighteen and one hundred and thirteen homicides in twenty fourteen
- 1:52Speaker 1: and twenty seventeen. And for a city of that size.
- 1:56Speaker 1: That is huge. Now, the month of May also saw
- 2:01Speaker 1: historic lows for both categories, with fifty four shootings and
- 2:05Speaker 1: eighteen homicides. And I shouldn't say that's huge. Actually, that's
- 2:10Speaker 1: very a small amount for a city of that size.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And that's good news on the surface. I mean, anytime
- 2:20Speaker 1: you read about or you hear about a reduction in crime,
- 2:24Speaker 1: you're very happy to hear it. But who gets the
- 2:28Speaker 1: credit for this? I know that the city government of
- 2:32Speaker 1: New York City is taking credit. They're thumping their little
- 2:35Speaker 1: chest and saying, hey, look at what we've done. It
- 2:37Speaker 1: is our policies that have cleaned up the big apple.
- 2:40Speaker 1: And I'm one who says, not so fast, because before
- 2:46Speaker 1: January first, or before President Trump took office, guess what
- 2:50Speaker 1: crime was all over the place. The city was a
- 2:54Speaker 1: lot dirtier than it is now. Even the streets are
- 2:56Speaker 1: being cleaned up to a degree and things are looking better.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But is it because of the local government's massive efforts
- 3:04Speaker 1: all of a sudden, are criminals actually being locked up
- 3:09Speaker 1: on the local side. I don't think so, because the
- 3:12Speaker 1: officials that were letting criminals go before Trump took office
- 3:18Speaker 1: they're still there. But what I think it is is
- 3:22Speaker 1: because of the Trump administration clamped down on the illegal
- 3:26Speaker 1: border crossers, and they know that they'll get locked up
- 3:31Speaker 1: and taken away and shipped out of the country, and
- 3:36Speaker 1: so I think a lot of them are laying low.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And yes, a lot of them are being hauled away too,
- 3:40Speaker 1: which is a very good thing. And because of the
- 3:45Speaker 1: fact that I'll say well over half of all the
- 3:49Speaker 1: horrible crimes in New York City over the past four
- 3:51Speaker 1: years under Uncle Joe were being committed by illegal border crossers.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And so I think we need to give credit where
- 3:59Speaker 1: credit is due, and I think, in my humble opinion,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and it's more due towards the efforts of the Trump
- 4:06Speaker 1: administration and good folks like Tom Holman, Christy nome people
- 4:12Speaker 1: that mean and what they say and say what they
- 4:14Speaker 1: mean when it comes to these illegal border crossers, these
- 4:17Speaker 1: international law breakers that were allowed into our government and
- 4:22Speaker 1: into our country. Rather to the tune of at least
- 4:26Speaker 1: and I say at least twenty million, I think it's
- 4:29Speaker 1: well over that when you consider all the illegals that
- 4:32Speaker 1: have been allowed in our country over the past several years,
- 4:36Speaker 1: beyond the past four and so it's a good thing.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That crime is down in New York City, one of
- 4:46Speaker 1: my favorite places on the entire planet. But see, if
- 4:51Speaker 1: the local officials there were smart and if they really
- 4:55Speaker 1: gave a darn, they would change their law and the
- 5:01Speaker 1: voters there would sweep out that city council. That city
- 5:04Speaker 1: council of New York City is awful. They are just
- 5:08Speaker 1: as bad, if not worse than Congress. I mean, the
- 5:13Speaker 1: things that the New York City City Council wants to
- 5:19Speaker 1: you know, wants to enact on behalf of criminals, both
- 5:23Speaker 1: foreign and domestic. It's just horrible, horrifying. In fact, the
- 5:30Speaker 1: city council members of New York City, they don't even
- 5:34Speaker 1: want you to call criminals criminals anymore. They don't want them,
- 5:39Speaker 1: as they would say, misidentified, because they don't want possibly
- 5:44Speaker 1: the public are to be brought against a thug. They
- 5:49Speaker 1: don't want thugs to have bad names. It just shows
- 5:54Speaker 1: you how little, what you know, how little they think
- 5:57Speaker 1: of their constituents. And that I think is even, if
- 6:03Speaker 1: not as criminal, even more criminal than the thugs running
- 6:06Speaker 1: around in the streets. Well, what does sesame street? Major
- 6:15Speaker 1: League Baseball, the w n b A, and the National
- 6:22Speaker 1: Football League all have in common. Well, I'll give you
- 6:27Speaker 1: a hint. It's a five letter word. It's a word
- 6:32Speaker 1: that I've come to detest because of the putrid nature
- 6:39Speaker 1: of the of what it has become. And that's because
- 6:44Speaker 1: of pride. Now, you know, the Bible talked about pride is,
- 6:49Speaker 1: you know, being too egotistical. They talked about pride coming
- 6:55Speaker 1: before a fall, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Well,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you know, in recent years, pride also means something else,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the worship of unnatural activities lung which are even more
- 7:09Speaker 1: unhealthy than cigarette smoking. So now you have Major League Baseball,
- 7:13Speaker 1: the WNBA, which is basically a league of lesbians. All
- 7:19Speaker 1: but twelve of the National Football League teams are worshiping
- 7:24Speaker 1: at the you know, the statue of pride ism, et cetera,
- 7:29Speaker 1: et cetera, et cetera. Now that activity should have nothing
- 7:33Speaker 1: to do with children, and since sports does. I find
- 7:39Speaker 1: it very insulting to meld the two together because of
- 7:45Speaker 1: immoral adults who have gone to nutsville and others who
- 7:49Speaker 1: are too cowardice to tell them, no, go away, go
- 7:56Speaker 1: fool around in your closets or wherever you want to go,
- 8:00Speaker 1: but you will not putrefy all of society, especially where
- 8:05Speaker 1: there's a lot of family and children focus. And I
- 8:10Speaker 1: think we in this society talk about cleaning up. This
- 8:14Speaker 1: is one of the areas we need to go. And
- 8:16Speaker 1: it's funny. The Bible says pride goeth before a fall.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I believe this is part of it too, because nothing
- 8:27Speaker 1: good comes out of any nation in the history of
- 8:30Speaker 1: the world. Once they became once they normalized these unnatural activities,
- 8:36Speaker 1: they fell.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Go back to.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Rome, Oh my god, the first democracy. Greece. Look at
- 8:46Speaker 1: the history of the Byzantine Empire. Look what happened to
- 8:49Speaker 1: Alexander the Great and his empire. Once what is label
- 8:56Speaker 1: as today as pride became nationalized, those nations crumbled away.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And they still exist. I mean, Greece is still there,
- 9:07Speaker 1: but she's no longer a great nation. She's a pretty
- 9:09Speaker 1: little place now, but she's no longer great. And the
- 9:16Speaker 1: beat goes on. So boy, here's something that's kind of weird.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Disney's Leelo and Stitch star Tia Career is celebrating her
- 9:33Speaker 1: daughter coming out as transgender. How is that something to celebrate?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Have any of you out there read what happens to
- 9:45Speaker 1: a child when they get chopped up when they get
- 9:53Speaker 1: these drugs in their bodies. And you know, there were
- 9:59Speaker 1: people that have been up and shot up in the
- 10:03Speaker 1: tranny movement, and they tried to come out and say, hey,
- 10:05Speaker 1: wait a minute, this is not good. I want to
- 10:08Speaker 1: go out and warn people. Do you know that under
- 10:10Speaker 1: the Uncle Joe Biden administration, these people were shut down.
- 10:15Speaker 1: They were told no, you can't do that. You're being discriminatory,
- 10:18Speaker 1: you're spreading hate. But I think it's more hateful to
- 10:24Speaker 1: stand back and allow unnatural, devastating activities to become the
- 10:30Speaker 1: Norman society. Anyway, I'm Ron Edwards and this is the
- 10:35Speaker 1: Ron Edwards American experience. And maybe we'll have another Liner
- 10:40Speaker 1: song soon
