In-Game Ads Coming to Xbox - AYCG Gamecast #816
Ad-based Game Pass could be coming to Xbox consoles in the near future. Resident Evil Requiem has passed 500 million dollars in revenue, with 8.5 million copies shipped across all its platforms. Meanwhile, Game Business claims Xbox is paying 400 million for Kojima's PHYSINT after Sony passed on the game. Beyond Good & Evil 2 apparently remains in development somehow. Age of Empires studio World's Edge's next game has been cancelled and 50% of its staff laid off by Xbox.
