• 4:25
Speaker 1: I I got vcu over byu okay that's 11 over six and then you got uh, so wisconsin, montana, man, watch out for that.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, watch out for montana.
• 4:38
Speaker 1: You know those teams like wisconsin that can ugly kind of like virginia a lot.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: You know that they can get in those battles.
• 4:46
Speaker 2: They slow it down, they play that boring style of basketball and you got these teams.
• 4:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a game to take a nap.
• 4:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, alabama is the two seed.
• 4:57
Speaker 2: The two seed there yeah.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: But they're going to get Robert.
• 5:05
Speaker 2: Vanderbilt yeah, I don't like that man.
• 5:08
Speaker 2: I know with 14 teams from one conference, you're probably going to have a second-round matchup or the possibility of a conference game.
• 5:17
Speaker 1: So who do you see on the other side of that?
• 5:19
Speaker 1: I see, you know, really it could.
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: Beama's got a pretty easy.
• 5:27
Speaker 2: I want to see alabama, wisconsin, eventually meet um that slow pace they run with, with the way that alabama plays styles, yeah all right, all right, let's go down to florida's bracket.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: All right, um, florida has just been on fire yeah I think espn all the people at their desks their trendy pick um which you can't get mad at, the uh interesting in their bracket.
• 5:55
Speaker 1: The second round matchup potentially between uh two-time defending champion, yukon huskies, right, right, and, if they can get past Oklahoma, one of the 14 SEC teams Again possibility of a conference game in the second round.
• 6:10
  Speaker 2: Well, I got.
• 6:10
Speaker 1: UConn winning that game and hopefully taking down Florida.
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: How about that?
• 6:16
Speaker 2: I'm right there with you.
• 6:16
Speaker 2: I think that's going to be the only shot.
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 6:18
Speaker 2: Just like when Billy Dee was going on his run.
• 6:21
Speaker 2: If you didn't get them in the early rounds, like they just breathe.
• 6:24
Speaker 1: I mean, they've been kicking the crap out of everybody.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: I feel like something's got to go the other way.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: Justin, what do you?
• 6:30
Speaker 3: think the issue with us Florida Gator haters is dude.
• 6:38
Speaker 3: The Gators are so freaking deep Like their roster.
• 6:42
Speaker 3: I watched the whole SEC tournament last week trying to get prepped for my bracket.
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 6:48
Speaker 3: And dude, florida is so good, dude.
• 6:51
Speaker 3: And they just keep coming with wave after wave of people.
• 6:55
  Speaker 3: I mean they're running like a 12-, 13-man rotation.
• 6:57
Speaker 3: Dude, they're going to be hard to beat.
• 7:00
Speaker 3: I don't have them as my champion just out of pure pride and hatred for the gators, but but they're the best I know, yeah, right now, I think that they went into auburn and smoked auburn, who's like the number one overall seed, which I don't understand.
• 7:18
Speaker 2: I think it should, and then they won the sec tournament.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: I don't see how they're not the number one overall seed, but I mean, they smoked bama dude that bama game.
• 7:27
Speaker 3: I was actually excited for that one.
• 7:29
Speaker 3: Uh, this past saturday I was like, oh, this is gonna be a fun game.
• 7:31
Speaker 3: Five minutes in I was like, all right, I'm gonna watch like an old royal rumble on peter yeah yeah, well, that's an interesting second-round matchup.
• 7:42
Speaker 1: I'm pretty much like you, just kind of hoping on that one, Right, but I feel like UConn.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: You know there's something to having won that many tournament games in a row.
• 7:52
Speaker 1: We'll see if they can.
• 7:56
Speaker 3: But they don't have the guys that they had the last two years.
• 7:58
Speaker 3: Here's your upset, your first-round upset, in that bracket.
• 7:59
Speaker 3: Grand Canyon takes down the Terps of Maryland.

Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll give it to you.
• 8:23
Speaker 2: That would suck for Dennis Gates man.
• 8:24
Speaker 2: I'd like to see him win UNC.

• 8:51
Speaker 3: I got St John's winning it all.
• 8:52
Speaker 2: They're going to play hard defense, but I don't know if they have enough scoring Matched up with Florida, I don't know, yeah, the depth, like Justin said, I don't know if they can do it Well, florida's been constructed purely on analytics Right, and they're deep and they have multiple guys that can shoot.
• 9:08
Speaker 3: Patino's like the opposite of that, yeah, but they don't have Rick Patino, yeah.
• 9:14
Speaker 1: Oh man, that'd be great.
• 9:15
Speaker 1: All right so I got St John's.
• 9:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, I got St John's in the bottom half of that.
• 9:18

Speaker 1: Uh, you got st john's, you got, you got michigan, and then you got uh duke, right, no arizona coming out, you got arizona, and then you have tennessee, or did you have?
• 16:57
Speaker 3: yep, that's who I got is tennessee.
• 16:59
Speaker 3: All right, there you go and the finals.
• 17:00
Speaker 3: That's who I got is Tennessee All right, there you go and the finals.
• 17:01
Speaker 1: That's his final four.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: There's all your final four picks the semifinals and then your national champion.
• 17:08
Speaker 1: For me, I'm going to go Duke over St John's.
• 17:19
Speaker 2: I mean dude, I'm going Gators over Blue Devils.
• 17:21
Speaker 2: My hell dude having to watch two teams.
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: I hate.
• 17:23
Speaker 1: What do you got?
• 17:26
Speaker 4: I'm going to have to say Duke and Florida, and I think Florida is going to win it look at that, and then, justin, I'm way off the board.
• 17:38
Speaker 3: I got St John's over Zona.
• 17:39
Speaker 3: That would actually be a really awesome matchup, justin, yeah, I'm way off the board.
• 17:42
Speaker 2: I got St John's over Zona All right, st John's National Team.
• 17:44
Speaker 2: That would actually be a really, really awesome matchup.
• 17:46
Speaker 1: I would love to see.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: I just want to see Patino do it.
• 17:48
Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like this, I know.
• 17:51
Speaker 1: I mean, he's at the place where you know he needs to be St John's, New York Dude, could you get any better than rick patino up in new york man?
• 18:08
Speaker 3: I mean like, come on, he gets it done, no matter where he's at um dude, this is the sixth team he's taken to a tournament.
• 18:10
Speaker 3: I know, ridiculous, ridiculous.
• 18:11
Speaker 3: He just he does it everywhere, man, and he still runs a very similar system to what he ran with kentucky back in the early 90s tournament to 76, probably soon.
• 18:18
Speaker 1: I think they need to make it to where these regular season champions are automatically in, like the field of 64.
• 18:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, and make it where all these bubble teams are made playing like playing games and I think there you actually have a little more fun right, and then you have no more bs about today.
• 18:37
Speaker 1: Today, for instance, would be all north carolina versus the west virginia, right, or you'd have all those teams playing off to earn the right to get that 11 seed, which they already kind of do, but that's you would eliminate those teams that won the small in the smaller schools to having to play in to be a 16.
• 18:55
Speaker 1: Get rid of all those and just do all play-ins.
• 18:58
  Speaker 1: That's my solution.
• 19:00
Speaker 3: You've got to get rid of the conference tournaments.
• 19:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's another thing.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: Well, the smaller ones mean a lot.
• 19:08
Speaker 2: I was happy for Duke that they were able to even make the postseason.
• 19:13
Speaker 1: After their best player broke his ankle, all right.
• 19:16
Speaker 1: Well, it's been NFL free agency Anything.
• 19:21
Speaker 1: Stand out to you, justin.
• 19:22
Speaker 1: We haven't talked to you in a while.
• 19:26
  Speaker 3: The Dolphins suck.
• 19:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, you like the.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: Zach Wilson sign the backup.
• 19:33
Speaker 3: You know who does like that is all like the 40-year-old divorced rich ladies up in Boca.
• 19:39
Speaker 3: They're stoked that Zach Wilson's coming to town.
• 19:49
Speaker 2: God, oh man divorced rich ladies up in boca.
• 19:50
Speaker 2: They're stoked that zach wilson's coming to town.
• 19:51
Speaker 1: God, oh man um, yeah, I I haven't really seen anything.
• 19:52
Speaker 1: I'm still waiting on my guy.
• 19:52
Speaker 1: James visited the giants.
• 19:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's visiting the giants.
• 19:53
Speaker 1: Everybody seems to be waiting on.
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: Uh, aaron rogers.
• 19:54
Speaker 1: Um, I said what?
• 19:56
  Speaker 1: Minnesota retire, probably?
• 19:58
  Speaker 3: yeah dude go.
• 19:59
Speaker 3: He's got to go to Minnesota just for the comedy of doing exactly what.
• 20:04
  Speaker 1: Brett Favre did.
• 20:05
Speaker 1: I really think that's what he's waiting on.
• 20:09
Speaker 1: It's up to Kevin O'Connell to decide.
• 20:13
Speaker 2: What would you do, man, if you had just drafted a quarterback?
• 20:15
Speaker 2: I would take him for one year.
• 20:18
Speaker 2: What if he's like nah man, I want I wouldn't, yeah, but I'm the one year rental one year, man.
• 20:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's definitely go for it, man go for the championship this one year and jj's got the wheels.
• 20:34
  Speaker 1: I mean, that's the only.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: They don't want to do that now.
• 20:37
Speaker 1: But the only reason they're thinking about is because the injury he had.
• 20:40
Speaker 1: So they're thinking they might need somebody to bridge that gap.
• 20:44
Speaker 1: But definitely gonna have to be somebody who they're gonna get how nfl ready do they think he is man?
• 20:50
  Speaker 1: Right, jay mccarthy.
• 20:51
  Speaker 3: Well, I don't know um.
• 20:53
Speaker 3: I mean only threw 10 passes a game in michigan, right?
• 20:57
  Speaker 1: so I mean I don't know.
• 20:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I know right it's not like they took the.
• 21:01
Speaker 2: The can't miss guy.
• 21:02
Speaker 2: I think it's gonna happen, Right.
• 21:03
  Speaker 2: So I mean, I don't know yeah.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know right.
• 21:04
Speaker 1: It's not like they took the can't miss guy.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: I think it's going to happen.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: I think Rodgers goes to the Vikings.
• 21:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, it makes the most sense right now.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: Then Russell Wilson will decide between the Browns and the Steelers, dominoes will fall and then, yeah, oh God, if you're choosing between the Browns, I mean like dude, just retire.
• 21:20
  Speaker 1: Yeah, don't yeah.
• 21:22
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 21:23
  Speaker 1: All right.
• 21:23
Speaker 1: So who's your boy?
• 21:24
Speaker 1: Cam Ward, number one pick, yeah draft.
• 21:27
  Speaker 2: Let's talk draft.
• 21:29
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, dude, it's got to be Cam.
• 21:31
Speaker 3: Dude, Tennessee's not really shopping the pick.
• 21:34
Speaker 3: Tennessee needs a quarterback.
• 21:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, cam is, by all evaluations, the best quarterback in the draft and apparently it's not even close now, according to all the talking heads I keep hearing.
• 21:44
Speaker 3: I mean I've got my concerns with Cam holding the ball too long and trying to be Superman a little too much, but I mean it looks like Cam's going number one overall, which would be great, man Kane's having had a number one overall pick since, like Russell Maryland, there you go.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: What about you, Junior?
• 22:02
Speaker 1: What's exciting you over NFL free-kick.
• 22:05
Speaker 4: I know he's easy, free-in, just your draft.
• 22:07
  Speaker 1: Whatever man.
• 22:09
Speaker 4: First of all, free-in just your draft.
• 22:10
Speaker 4: Bears are finally building up our line, so it's not going to suck this year.
• 22:13
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 22:14
Speaker 4: We have a whole new interior line center guard.
• 22:17
  Speaker 4: What?
• 22:17
Speaker 1: do you think about that new coach?
• 22:19
Speaker 4: I mean I'm happy we get fired up.
• 22:22
Speaker 2: He wants him to draft Jenty.
• 22:24
Speaker 2: I think he will.
• 22:25
Speaker 4: I think we could, it's either going to be the.
• 22:29
  Speaker 4: Raiders or us.
• 22:30
Speaker 4: Those are the two main people who want to draft him.
• 22:32
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 22:33
Speaker 1: You got weapons on the outside.
• 22:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to come down.
• 22:40
Speaker 3: Actually I'm interested to see who New.
• 22:42
Speaker 3: England takes because they're going to have Travis.
• 22:43
Speaker 3: Hunter Should be right there, dude, and you pair him with my boy, Drake, May and the Dolphins will be battling for last place in the AFC.
• 22:52
Speaker 3: If I'm Hunter man, if you just look at what just happened.
• 22:56
Speaker 1: you had the receiver, Jamar Chase, signed for over $40 million and although the cornerback for the Texans that was on that same team at LSU signed for $30, million.
• 23:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, highest I'm going to try to get.
• 23:11
Speaker 1: I think by being a receiver you can make more money, so why not be a receiver?
• 23:14
  Speaker 2: Dude, I think he's.
• 23:15
Speaker 2: We're trying to get both.
• 23:16
Speaker 2: He's literally going to try to get both.
• 23:18
Speaker 2: He's going to try to get both he's gonna get, try to get paid.
• 23:20
Speaker 2: He's gonna try to.
• 23:21
Speaker 2: He's gonna try to get try to get all right, try to get man um, travis, try to get.
• 23:25
Speaker 1: Well, I, uh, I'm taking him.
• 23:27
Speaker 1: If he's there, sure, why not?
• 23:29
  Speaker 1: He's a weapon.
• 23:30
  Speaker 1: I mean, there's a guy, it's a guy.
• 23:32
Speaker 1: You can't find every.
• 23:34
  Speaker 1: I mean this, you can't.
• 23:36
Speaker 1: There's not too many, if not any, of those kind of guys.
• 23:41
Speaker 3: I really like Abdul Carter.
• 23:42
Speaker 3: I'm starting to feel like I did a couple years ago with the kid from Georgia, jalen Carter, when he fell to Philly, and I think Abdul Carter is the best kid in the draft at this point.
• 23:59
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, he was getting mocked at number one overall until the injury thing and then the combine and all that shit.
• 24:07
Speaker 2: I mean I think you're right, dude, he's clearly the best pass rusher and just overall, what Micah Parsons type player.
• 24:15
Speaker 1: What will the Giants do?
• 24:16
Speaker 1: Will they take Shador, will they not?
• 24:19
  Speaker 1: Is Jackson dark?
• 24:20
  Speaker 1: They got to.
• 24:21
Speaker 3: They got to take Shador and match him with neighbors.
• 24:23
Speaker 3: Man, I mean, like you got, you have to if you're the giants, you can't.
• 24:27
Speaker 3: Gettleman's not there anymore, so you're not going to draft the Daniel Jones.
• 24:31
Speaker 3: I mean you got to start building something in New York and and build it with James Shador just makes too much sense.
• 24:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, even if they did do that, then they would have a guy.
• 24:43
Speaker 1: Right now they have Tommy DeVito, that's it.
• 24:47
Speaker 2: There you go, tommy Cutlets, tommy Cutlets.
• 24:50
Speaker 2: Well, we got to get on out of here.
• 24:54
Speaker 2: Our ride's here, but baseball, we got baseball.
• 25:00
Speaker 1: We're going to go see some action Fast pitch.
• 25:04
  Speaker 2: Mercer, mercer Link.
• 25:06
Speaker 1: Jarrett's old squad yeah.
• 25:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, it came, it just got swept by Wake.
• 25:14
Speaker 1: Oh, wake's good though.
• 25:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, miami sucks in baseball, this year apparently too.
• 25:19
Speaker 3: Dude, I mean my God.
• 25:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the prevailing thought is that JD Artiega will be gone from Miami after this season, maybe even midseason.
• 25:30
Speaker 2: All right, way too much talent in Florida.
• 25:34
Speaker 3: Well, if they can bring in somebody, like the basketball team did with Jay Lucas, I love that hire for Canes basketball man, the guy from Duke.
• 25:42
Speaker 3: That's a fantastic hire by Miami.
• 25:45
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there's a lot of good baseball coaches out there, and Florida is probably the number one state in terms of talent overall, so that's just.
• 25:53
Speaker 1: Good hire for Miami.
• 25:54
Speaker 1: You like the hire of Lucas from Duke.
• 25:56
Speaker 1: Luke Laux starts at FSU, so that will be interesting to watch of those two guys.
• 26:06
Speaker 1: Baseball I know FSU has that only loss to Florida who went on to get swept by Tennessee.
• 26:13
Speaker 2: Tennessee's not losing First undefeated season in baseball history.
• 26:18
Speaker 1: I mean geez, they look explosive.
• 26:21
Speaker 2: Their best player isn't even allowed to play.
• 26:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, they're still kicking everybody's ass.
• 26:27
Speaker 3: Oh man hey, what about spring football?
• 26:30
  Speaker 3: I saw that.
• 26:31
Speaker 3: Uh, I saw norvell closed off practice.
• 26:34
Speaker 3: Yeah, everybody's pissed, yep good.
• 26:37
Speaker 3: But yeah, you can't go two and ten and then double middle finger the press and say don't watch this practice.
• 26:42
Speaker 2: I mean you can.
• 26:43
Speaker 2: When you got open with Bama, yeah, and you went 2-10.
• 26:46
  Speaker 1: Who cares?
• 26:46
Speaker 1: I mean it's all about winning.
• 26:48
Speaker 1: The media will be there if you win.
• 26:50
Speaker 4: They're going to rip you anyway.
• 26:51
Speaker 1: I mean, you just won 19 in a row and then they wanted you gone.
• 27:03
Speaker 2: I mean it's going to affect the area of bullshit articles that you get.
• 27:05
  Speaker 1: I don't care.
• 27:05
  Speaker 1: I think it's great.
• 27:06
Speaker 1: Whatever makes the team better.
• 27:09
Speaker 1: I think they need to put the blinders on.
• 27:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, six wins is not going to be easy.
• 27:18
Speaker 1: Alright, we got the tournament to start.
• 27:20
Speaker 1: You saw, you heard our picks, so we hope they're right.
• 27:23
Speaker 1: We'll watch it, we'll react to it and we'll talk to you next time, right here on the North Florida Sports Network.
• 27:30
Speaker 1: I'm going to beat the shit out of you.
