1:02
SPEAKER_02: Let's start like old men right off the bat and talk about the carpet.
1:05
SPEAKER_02: Oh, we're dinosaurs, so you gotta start off with the dinosaur.
1:11
SPEAKER_03: No, I don't I don't read comments.
1:13
SPEAKER_02: See, he's so much better than us, ladies and gentlemen.
1:16
SPEAKER_02: It didn't bother me.
1:16
SPEAKER_02: I just thought it was funny, actually, but it was funny.
1:20
SPEAKER_02: All right.
1:20
SPEAKER_02: Let's get the show kicked off.
1:22
SPEAKER_02: Let's get the show kicked off.
1:23
SPEAKER_02: Again, Kayle Hernandez is remote live from the electric bat.
1:28
SPEAKER_02: And well, live from his house, actually.
1:30
SPEAKER_03: Yep.
1:31
SPEAKER_03: Studio.
1:32
SPEAKER_02: And uh let's go.
1:34
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:35
SPEAKER_02: Notes.
1:36
SPEAKER_02: You want to start with American Pinball?
1:39
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:40
SPEAKER_03: Sure.
1:40
SPEAKER_02: Let's start with American Pinball.
1:43
SPEAKER_02: All right.
1:43
SPEAKER_02: We have literally met everyone at American Pinball, Ralph.
1:47
SPEAKER_02: Yeah?
1:47
SPEAKER_02: Like a whole new crew.
1:48
SPEAKER_02: We met every one of them.
1:49
SPEAKER_02: Kill we met everyone, right?
1:51
SPEAKER_02: They can't be nicer.
1:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and they're excited.
1:55
SPEAKER_02: They're actually, you can tell there's a different energy over there now.
1:58
SPEAKER_02: They're pumped up.
1:58
SPEAKER_02: They're pumped up to have Nick Neitzel.
2:00
SPEAKER_02: They're pumped up to have Rob over at Electric Playground.
2:03
SPEAKER_02: The new owner seems really engaged, and he was he's been just in the booth talking to everybody, trying to gather feedback the whole time.
2:09
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
2:10
SPEAKER_02: They seem pretty energized over there.
2:12
SPEAKER_02: So Brian uh came up to us, Kale.
2:15
SPEAKER_02: You'll appreciate this.
2:16
SPEAKER_02: And he goes, these are the guys that uh forced me to lot to announce that what did he say?
2:22
SPEAKER_02: These are the guys that uh He said we leaked certain basic first game.
2:26
SPEAKER_02: We leaked our first game.
2:27
SPEAKER_02: And then of course, so see, in in true fashion, Taylor, you got out, you got off scot-free.
2:33
SPEAKER_02: Like you'd have to, it's not even you, like even though it is you.
2:36
SPEAKER_02: But you know what I mean?
2:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't know.
2:39
SPEAKER_03: I don't know what you're talking about, but yeah.
2:45
SPEAKER_02: No, oh, here we are.
2:47
SPEAKER_02: We got MN Retro Gamer.
2:49
SPEAKER_02: I had I had it off.
2:50
SPEAKER_02: I'm so sorry, guys.
2:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Janine's in there.
2:54
SPEAKER_02: Janine is here.
2:55
SPEAKER_02: Hi guys, everyone is here.
2:57
SPEAKER_02: Uh so they've just been so lovely, Kale.
3:00
SPEAKER_02: Um, and they gave us a couple of info, right?
3:03
SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, they gave us some info, little little little insider stuff, right?
3:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think so.
3:08
SPEAKER_02: Uh, what can we talk about?
3:10
SPEAKER_03: Well, well, but before that, and unless you've heard anything about He-Man, somebody in the chat's asking about He-Man, and I actually have some uh inside knowledge on this.
3:21
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
3:22
SPEAKER_03: Um American never actually had the license for He-Man.
3:30
SPEAKER_03: Uh they uh David Fix got uh Chris Franchi to do a mock-up in order to land the license, but it never actually happened.
3:42
SPEAKER_02: Ah, okay, that makes much sense.
3:44
SPEAKER_02: This is why two-thirds of the round table is just not enough, ladies and gentlemen.
3:48
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the whole thing.
3:49
SPEAKER_02: We need uh we need them all.
3:52
SPEAKER_03: Um Yeah, so now now bring us up to date.
3:55
SPEAKER_03: What you you you hung out with them?
3:57
SPEAKER_03: What have you heard?
3:58
SPEAKER_03: What's going on?
3:59
SPEAKER_03: What else is coming down?
4:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so we saw the Houdini with the new artwork that Franchi did.
4:04
SPEAKER_02: Uh there the artwork that's on display here is not the final.
4:08
SPEAKER_02: Like they're gonna um they're gonna start printing the artwork on the cabinets, I guess.
4:12
SPEAKER_02: So, and then laminating over that, kind of similar to what Spoony's doing.
4:16
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, interesting.
4:17
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so that's not like this on this model that's on the floor, but um, but it looks really nice.
4:22
SPEAKER_02: The artwork that Franchi did, of course, because he's always kicking ass at artwork, but it look it looks really, really nice.
4:27
SPEAKER_02: It's obviously the same game, but uh I I don't know if they they were kind of they were kind of saying they they already sold them through.
4:34
SPEAKER_02: So their hundred are probably already sold through to distributors, which is good, which is great for them.
4:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
4:40
SPEAKER_02: So their first game out the shoot, they got uh they got all the orders, which is which is good.
4:45
SPEAKER_02: You know, you could just see the positivity, Kale, from the team.
4:49
SPEAKER_02: You know, they're they're just excited to make shit happen, right?
4:53
SPEAKER_02: And with Nightsel, and you know, we spent a lot of time with Robin and Alec at the bar.
5:01
SPEAKER_02: That was a really funny, honestly.
5:02
SPEAKER_02: Kale, everyone was like heavily drinking at the bar, and it was it was pretty fun.
5:07
SPEAKER_02: Uh, but Rob is like super pumped up about it.
5:10
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
5:10
SPEAKER_02: Um, but we did find out though, so Rob and Nick are 100% full-time American pinball.
5:16
SPEAKER_02: So it's kind of on Alec's shoulders now, and a couple of the people that that work at Electric Playground.
5:20
SPEAKER_02: It's not like Rob isn't a part of Electric Playground, but he's 100% allocating his time right now to American pinball.
5:27
SPEAKER_02: We did find that out.
5:28
SPEAKER_03: Hey, yeah, I'm just trying to get a clarification in the chat.
5:31
SPEAKER_03: They're saying Franchi did not do the artwork.
5:34
SPEAKER_03: Brad did it.
5:36
SPEAKER_02: No, that's wrong.
5:37
SPEAKER_02: Because we've met my next topic, it was gonna be we met Franchi.
5:42
SPEAKER_02: I apologize to Franchi.
5:43
SPEAKER_02: We'll talk about that in a second.
5:45
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we got we'll give you some good info on that in a second.
5:48
SPEAKER_02: But we immediately said the artwork on Houdini looks great.
5:52
SPEAKER_02: How long did it take you?
5:53
SPEAKER_02: And he's like, I don't know, a couple weeks, a month.
5:55
SPEAKER_02: He said he just whipped it up, but like it was like he's good like that.
5:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so he did it.
6:00
SPEAKER_02: And and also we got some insider to uh while we were talking, I think you asked, uh Jamie's like, hey, so it's cool for you to work on other projects.
6:09
SPEAKER_02: And I and that was a neat friend, that was neat with Francis said.
6:13
SPEAKER_02: Go ahead.
6:13
SPEAKER_02: And then but Bug and Luke were there, and they're like, Yeah, yeah, of course.
6:16
SPEAKER_02: Like he could he can work on other things if he if he wants to.
6:19
SPEAKER_02: But it was it was you know No, what he said was, I don't mind those guys at America Bimbo.
6:25
SPEAKER_02: Remember what he said?
6:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
6:28
SPEAKER_02: He goes, Who are you going to work with?
6:30
SPEAKER_02: And he said, America Bimbo, and he's like, I don't mind those guys.
6:34
SPEAKER_02: So uh real quick on the Franchis, Ralph dragged me over, Kale.
6:40
SPEAKER_02: Well, actually, this is really funny, Kale.
6:42
SPEAKER_02: So we're this was this is us being like not aware of the situation.
6:46
SPEAKER_02: So we're walking into the booth, Franchi's on the other side, and they're setting up all the Beetlejuices, and there's a guy like, hey, we're cutting straps, we're cutting straps, and all of a sudden we're getting hit with straps as we're going to talk to Franchi.
6:58
SPEAKER_02: We're in the middle of everything, Kale.
7:00
SPEAKER_02: Like, we probably shouldn't have.
7:02
SPEAKER_02: We weren't really supposed to be on the floor, to be honest with you.
7:04
SPEAKER_02: You're big idiots at that moment.
7:06
SPEAKER_02: So, anyway, uh good conversation with Christopher Franchi.
7:11
SPEAKER_02: He is gonna come on the podcast, a very special podcast with Christopher Franchi.
7:17
SPEAKER_02: He they actually invited us to dinner tonight.
7:19
SPEAKER_02: So Yeah, we can't go because we're doing it.
7:22
SPEAKER_02: But thank you for the invite.
7:23
SPEAKER_02: That was nice.
7:24
SPEAKER_02: It is very well.
7:25
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so we're doing something.
7:27
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, we're gonna do that.
7:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the the other bit of info that I think we can talk about American real quick while we're while we're on there.
7:33
SPEAKER_02: Oh boy, what was that while Robin told us, should we say that about they were Robin and Nick.
7:43
SPEAKER_02: What part are you talking about?
7:45
SPEAKER_02: Robin and Nick were doing their own machine.
7:48
SPEAKER_02: Kale.
7:49
SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
7:49
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
7:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know if we're supposed to say that.
7:51
SPEAKER_02: Oh, really?
7:52
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't think so, actually.
7:53
SPEAKER_02: But I think it's too late now.
7:55
SPEAKER_02: Uh so Robin and Kale were doing their own machine.
7:58
SPEAKER_02: Like whispered it to me first or something, maybe.
8:01
SPEAKER_02: And American loved it so much, they basically said, come.
8:06
SPEAKER_02: And that was one of the the uh But they did say when we were talking to them that that they're like, we have full faith in Nick.
8:13
SPEAKER_02: We gave him all the kings to keys to the kingdom.
8:16
SPEAKER_02: Like, Nick is gonna be able to run with this game and get all the resources he needs to do what he needs to do.
8:21
SPEAKER_02: And uh they seem really excited.
8:23
SPEAKER_02: They're like, you guys are gonna love it.
8:25
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know.
8:26
SPEAKER_02: They didn't he didn't tell us what it was.
8:28
SPEAKER_02: No, but I don't know if we were supposed to say that part, but he did not tell us what it is.
8:32
SPEAKER_02: But Nick, uh what they did tell us about Circus Voltaire, uh, we cornered Brian and John Swartz, uh, who's a new member on the board to the this morning, and they did tell us, Kale, that Circus Voltaire, uh they announced it because of us quickly, and um they are also gonna be doing uh updated some code.
8:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so it's it's gonna have a you're you're gonna have two rule sets.
8:58
SPEAKER_02: You're gonna, and I did give them some feedback on this, but we'll get to that in a second.
9:01
SPEAKER_02: So it's gonna have the original code, and then they're gonna have new code that's updated, and you can choose to play either game.
9:08
SPEAKER_02: Now, one thing he said, now this isn't he didn't commit this, but I said to him, well, it would be nice, like from a home, from a home buyer perspective, if on the main menu I could select which one I wanted and not have to go into the service menu.
9:22
SPEAKER_02: And he's he said they have some ideas around like an operator being able to do it without opening up the coin door, but that none of that's they're working on something that might be like phone related where you can go in and operator can get in in like two minutes.
9:35
SPEAKER_02: Two minutes.
9:35
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, an operator can go in and change the settings of the game completely, all the settings of the game, including the what code you're running it on, uh, without having to open up the coin door.
9:45
SPEAKER_02: And so so he didn't he said that none of that's like solidified, but they're working on that.
9:50
SPEAKER_02: So there you go.
9:51
SPEAKER_02: That sounds that's some good info for you, Kale.
9:54
SPEAKER_02: But the reimagined is basically like you there's gonna be a new rule set, but you can still play the old original rule set.
10:01
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so my takeaway my takeaway from this is there's we're gonna see a Tony Hawk uh ProSkater pinball machine.
10:10
SPEAKER_02: I know how great would that be.
10:11
SPEAKER_02: That'd be awesome if it was that.
10:13
SPEAKER_02: Um no, he did say another thing.
10:16
SPEAKER_02: All the animations, they're redoing all of the animations on a modern LCD in the back.
10:20
SPEAKER_02: So the L C D will be where the DMD would have been, and it's gonna be all modern, like they're gonna redo all those animations and stuff.
10:28
SPEAKER_02: That's pretty cool, right?
10:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think that's cool.
10:31
SPEAKER_02: He didn't say though, if the that's just one thing we didn't ask him.
10:33
SPEAKER_02: If when you're running the original code, if it's just emulating the old DMD articles or not.
10:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that would have been a good question.
10:40
SPEAKER_02: But I wasn't we were Kale, we were beat when we were talking to him.
10:44
SPEAKER_02: We were done this morning.
10:45
SPEAKER_02: This guy's gotten me introduced to taking naps now.
10:48
SPEAKER_02: Life is good right now.
10:49
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
10:50
SPEAKER_02: Uh no, it was good.
10:52
SPEAKER_02: It was good to talk to them, and uh, I I wish them nothing but the best of luck.
10:57
SPEAKER_02: I know that's my phrase all the time.
10:59
SPEAKER_02: You know, good luck.
11:00
SPEAKER_02: But uh I do think, Kale, that the they're they're on the right path of uh the mistakes of the past, except the AI gate.
11:08
SPEAKER_02: Oh, there's one other thing.
11:09
SPEAKER_02: Actually, there's one of the things.
11:10
SPEAKER_02: So, Kale, we were talking a lot about their flippers.
11:13
SPEAKER_02: They're they're redoing their they realize their flippers kind of fade and they're not as strong.
11:19
SPEAKER_02: So they're he they're doing more than just adding uh higher, uh bigger capacitors.
11:24
SPEAKER_02: They he was going into the technical details, but he said we're absolutely addressing the flippers, so you're not gonna have fade over time, they're gonna feel strong and snappy.
11:32
SPEAKER_02: Uh so that's something they're gonna do moving forward with the with Circus Voltaire than the rest of the games.
11:38
SPEAKER_02: So we're now joined by Donnie from Don Fimbo Podcast joined in the loins.
11:46
SPEAKER_02: Hello, sirs.
11:46
SPEAKER_02: How are you doing?
11:47
SPEAKER_02: What's going on?
11:48
SPEAKER_02: Can you hear Cal Hernandez?
11:49
SPEAKER_03: Hey, what's up?
11:50
SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
11:52
SPEAKER_03: I love it.
11:53
SPEAKER_03: Everybody can hear me.
11:55
SPEAKER_02: So how are you?
11:56
SPEAKER_02: We've got to hang out with you.
11:58
SPEAKER_02: You brought the whole family, the whole fam's here.
12:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:00
SPEAKER_02: They're putting them to work.
12:02
SPEAKER_02: The wife is working at the spooky booth, man.
12:04
SPEAKER_02: His wife is now working for Spooky, doing some side jobs.
12:08
SPEAKER_03: I mean, yeah, I listened to the uh him and Sterling.
12:11
SPEAKER_02: Oh.
12:12
unknown: Oh.
12:14
SPEAKER_02: By the way, yes, sir, Cal.
12:16
SPEAKER_02: I hooked you up.
12:17
SPEAKER_02: Stir expect an I am from Sterling very soon.
12:20
SPEAKER_03: He wants to book you.
12:21
SPEAKER_03: Oh, we're gonna do something?
12:23
SPEAKER_03: He wants to put Jamie on the podcast.
12:26
SPEAKER_03: You are the best manager, I'll tell you what.
12:27
SPEAKER_03: I'm a recruiter.
12:28
SPEAKER_02: I bring people together.
12:31
SPEAKER_02: That's what I do.
12:31
SPEAKER_02: I am a good recruiter.
12:33
SPEAKER_02: So we didn't get we now that we got Don here, I think we should get to some of the breakdown of a couple of the games because it'd be great to get all of the whole perspective of the panel, you think?
12:42
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
12:42
SPEAKER_02: So we just talked about American pinball.
12:44
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yes.
12:45
SPEAKER_02: Uh let's go to your favorite, multimorphic.
12:48
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yes, yes.
12:50
SPEAKER_02: Hang on a second.
12:50
SPEAKER_01: Okay, we'll get out of here.
12:52
SPEAKER_01: Hey, uh, before we bring this out, I got a souvenir for multimorphic here with Jerry.
12:57
SPEAKER_03: Hey, can can I ask one question about American and Circus Voltaire?
13:01
SPEAKER_03: You can ask whatever you want.
13:03
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
13:03
SPEAKER_03: Did you learn anything about the two different versions?
13:07
SPEAKER_03: And is is one gonna have different art or is it gonna look like the the 90s machine?
13:14
SPEAKER_02: Uh, we didn't talk about that.
13:16
SPEAKER_02: Did you get that, Don?
13:17
SPEAKER_02: I we didn't talk about I didn't ask him those questions.
13:19
SPEAKER_02: No, I heard there's two machines.
13:20
SPEAKER_02: One will be a remaster with new art, but this is like third hand knowledge.
13:25
SPEAKER_02: No, he did tell us that it's gonna have different art on it.
13:29
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
13:30
SPEAKER_02: All right, I don't remember.
13:31
SPEAKER_02: So there'll be two.
13:31
SPEAKER_02: You can't do that.
13:32
SPEAKER_02: I don't know who's doing the art.
13:33
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it's like Bryan Allen art, I don't know what, but apparently two trim levels, they're both under 10 grand.
13:38
SPEAKER_02: I think.
13:39
SPEAKER_02: Wow, third hand knowledge.
13:41
SPEAKER_02: Well, in the they'll both have, even though there's different art bad, they'll both have that ability to run the original code and then whatever they decide to do.
13:48
SPEAKER_02: He didn't go into details as to what they're gonna do, but he said there'll be new modes and there'll be new things like that to do.
13:53
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so in in the the reimagined part, are are they gonna add like different things to the play field?
14:00
SPEAKER_03: Are they gonna be different mechs?
14:02
SPEAKER_02: No, he said that the play field's gonna be the same, just different code, uh, and that you can switch between one and two.
14:10
unknown: Okay.
14:11
SPEAKER_02: You can go in there.
14:12
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, you can go in there.
14:14
SPEAKER_02: Just just scoot by this.
14:15
SPEAKER_02: The we're kind of like borrowing the light from the rig.
14:19
SPEAKER_02: Erica needs to get in there.
14:20
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, we can pause for Erica.
14:22
SPEAKER_02: I want to talk about Erica for a while.
14:24
SPEAKER_02: Who's this guy?
14:25
SPEAKER_02: This guy's the best instructor to have by your side when you're trying to learn a lot.
14:29
SPEAKER_02: Dirty pinball.
14:30
SPEAKER_02: Seriously, dirty pinball, Jamie.
14:33
SPEAKER_02: No, he's calming.
14:34
SPEAKER_02: Oh no, and and oh my gosh, totally nailed the shit out of it.
14:38
SPEAKER_02: But like, oh, and the weird that's I don't even know how we can explain.
14:48
SPEAKER_02: I don't even know.
14:49
SPEAKER_02: Well, yeah, that's why I stopped.
14:51
SPEAKER_02: Let's shake this off.
14:52
SPEAKER_02: Let's shake this off.
14:54
SPEAKER_02: All right, moving on from American Pinball.
14:57
SPEAKER_02: I feel most sorry for Hexa Pinball, Kale.
15:02
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I know.
15:02
SPEAKER_02: It's such a bummer, man.
15:04
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
15:05
SPEAKER_02: Stuck in customs.
15:07
SPEAKER_02: Their stuff is stuck in customs in Memphis.
15:10
SPEAKER_02: Did you hear that?
15:11
SPEAKER_02: I heard.
15:11
SPEAKER_02: I heard.
15:12
SPEAKER_02: What a blow, man.
15:13
SPEAKER_02: What a bummer, dude.
15:15
SPEAKER_02: Because there you want to announce.
15:18
SPEAKER_02: Look what Turner has done.
15:19
SPEAKER_02: We'll talk about Turner in a second.
15:21
SPEAKER_02: And here they are.
15:22
SPEAKER_02: They're excited, they fly everybody in.
15:24
SPEAKER_02: There's a bunch of Frenchmen running around, and then they can't.
15:28
SPEAKER_02: And did you did you see though the defeat on his face?
15:32
SPEAKER_02: Did you see the defeat on his face?
15:33
SPEAKER_02: Like he was genuinely super sad.
15:36
SPEAKER_02: I know so bummed.
15:38
SPEAKER_02: He just said to us, he's like, Look, all we wanted to do, and it was like really he got really serious and sad.
15:43
SPEAKER_02: He goes, Look, all we wanted to do was showcase our machine here.
15:46
SPEAKER_02: We were looking forward to it for so long, and then this happens.
15:50
SPEAKER_02: He's like, I was gonna drive to Memphis, but he said, I can't even, he's like, they won't even let me.
15:55
SPEAKER_02: It's stuck like in this weird customs black hole.
15:58
SPEAKER_02: So he cannot get it.
16:03
SPEAKER_02: I feel bad for him.
16:04
SPEAKER_02: Let's uh so bad luck.
16:07
SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Hexa, our bad America.
16:11
SPEAKER_02: You have a wave, like sorry, man, that's so bummed.
16:15
SPEAKER_02: It's a bummer.
16:16
SPEAKER_02: Move on.
16:17
SPEAKER_02: All right.
16:17
SPEAKER_02: Uh let's talk about Turner Pinball.
16:20
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
16:22
SPEAKER_02: Turner Pinball, UConn Yeti is the newest release.
16:26
SPEAKER_02: Uh their third release, and they brought it.
16:29
SPEAKER_02: He brought it, Kale, at 10:30 Thursday night.
16:35
SPEAKER_02: He was wheeling it in when like they were shutting it down, basically.
16:38
SPEAKER_02: So he just got it in there.
16:39
SPEAKER_02: I jumped in the trailer and helped unload.
16:41
SPEAKER_02: We got those in here before they kicked us out.
16:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's such a good dude.
16:46
SPEAKER_02: For my boy Chris Turner.
16:47
SPEAKER_02: Hell yeah, I'm gonna wait.
16:48
SPEAKER_02: We had 15 minutes, we did it in 12.
16:51
SPEAKER_02: Everyone was stopping him, right?
16:53
SPEAKER_02: And uh we were like, he's like, dude, I got 15 minutes, and he's panicking, and we're like, all right, well, good luck with that.
16:59
SPEAKER_02: And we just let it go.
17:00
SPEAKER_02: Jamie was like, Oh, cool, man.
17:01
SPEAKER_02: So uh good luck.
17:02
SPEAKER_02: He did he good luck with it.
17:03
SPEAKER_02: Chris is like, I'm gonna do it again.
17:06
SPEAKER_02: And uh, but this guy, because he's insane.
17:09
SPEAKER_02: Good dude.
17:10
SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
17:11
SPEAKER_02: Good dude.
17:12
SPEAKER_02: So I want to play like Getty.
17:14
SPEAKER_02: So now let's talk about the game because Did you get to play it?
17:17
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I played the heck out of it.
17:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay.
17:19
SPEAKER_02: I hit the ramp, I did the avalanche lock, I played multi uh multiplayer games where we saw the lock worked with different people.
17:27
SPEAKER_02: Did you get the avalanche with the five locks?
17:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it plays like glass.
17:30
SPEAKER_02: I didn't get the five locks, but I did see somebody else with it.
17:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
17:33
SPEAKER_02: I got the I took the three lock.
17:34
SPEAKER_02: I took the very similar to Aerosmith KO, right?
17:38
SPEAKER_02: Like where you could decide to start the multi-ball, sir.
17:41
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
17:42
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
17:42
SPEAKER_02: And then if not more venom.
17:45
SPEAKER_02: Oh, right.
17:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
17:46
SPEAKER_02: There you go.
17:47
SPEAKER_02: So very similar.
17:49
SPEAKER_02: Um it if you like Whitewater, I think you're gonna like this game.
17:54
SPEAKER_02: Except I don't know if my buddy liked it.
17:58
SPEAKER_02: He's putting me on the spot.
18:00
SPEAKER_02: I I gotta admit, like, I there's the motives.
18:02
SPEAKER_02: Things for me, I'm happy that he made this game and everything.
18:06
SPEAKER_02: But the music and the call-outs, just it there's nothing sucking me into wanting to play it.
18:12
SPEAKER_02: That's the problem.
18:13
SPEAKER_02: Like, I I don't I I just I played it five times and I didn't love it.
18:18
SPEAKER_02: Like, and I wouldn't per and I I'm I think this game's there's a there's an audience for this game, but I'm I'm I'm not it.
18:25
SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't think I'm the audience for it.
18:27
SPEAKER_02: Do you think it'll sell out?
18:28
SPEAKER_02: What do you think?
18:29
SPEAKER_02: I do, but I don't think it's halfway there, at least sold through.
18:33
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, it will, I think.
18:34
SPEAKER_02: Um I keep trying to I keep trying to get in there and say, like, like what's the live count right now?
18:38
SPEAKER_02: And he won't reveal it to me, but it's definitely gotta be close to available.
18:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
18:43
SPEAKER_02: I think it will.
18:44
SPEAKER_02: Do you think he sold more of these than he did combined Merlins and oh he didn't really sell a lot of Merlins at all?
18:49
SPEAKER_02: And Ninja?
18:50
SPEAKER_02: Merlins, I want to say it's like less than 100.
18:52
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, he definitely sold more than I saw a new inbox Merlin Ellie, and it was number 54.
18:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's in the very it's very low.
19:00
SPEAKER_02: So this is selling it by a large amount marketing.
19:04
SPEAKER_02: Exclusive game.
19:07
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
19:08
SPEAKER_02: But um and Kale, I'm not saying I didn't like it, but for me, it's not a game for me.
19:12
SPEAKER_02: Like I I I wasn't like super pumped up and having fun playing it.
19:16
SPEAKER_02: I was just kind of like lukewarm.
19:18
SPEAKER_02: What did you think about the audio on it?
19:21
SPEAKER_02: Because Well, the audio is the the to me, the biggest deficiency.
19:24
SPEAKER_02: I Kale, I'm about pinball experiences.
19:27
SPEAKER_02: I want something that gives brings it, brings it in all levels.
19:30
SPEAKER_02: I like Evil Dead brings it.
19:32
SPEAKER_02: The call-outs, the freaking music, the what's going on in the LCD.
19:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, this this is like the gameplay sort of brought it, but everything around it didn't bring it at all.
19:42
SPEAKER_02: And so I feel like if there's any if he if he wanted to amp this game up, get like Dirty Pool to help him with the audio package, and you could make this game like minty if you didn't.
19:53
SPEAKER_02: We said that to we said that to Jeff.
19:55
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
19:56
SPEAKER_02: Like, are you exclusive to barrels?
19:58
SPEAKER_02: And he's like, no.
19:59
SPEAKER_02: And so we're like, I mean Chris Turner, let's go.
20:06
SPEAKER_02: It would switch the game.
20:08
SPEAKER_02: And he may do that because it's I think he's on code 0.7, 7.7.
20:14
unknown: Yeah.
20:14
SPEAKER_02: So I love I love Chris.
20:16
SPEAKER_02: I love his quality is great.
20:17
SPEAKER_02: I just feel like there's an opportunity here before this thing starts shipping to sort of like make it great.
20:23
SPEAKER_02: That's my opinion.
20:24
SPEAKER_02: So chat just said that uh Chris told Carrie that the music and the call-outs are super early and will be adjusted.
20:31
SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
20:32
SPEAKER_02: I'll take it.
20:32
SPEAKER_02: I'll take it.
20:33
SPEAKER_02: You'll take it, right?
20:34
SPEAKER_02: I want to walk downstairs to my game room.
20:35
SPEAKER_02: It's just a little yeti in the corner.
20:37
SPEAKER_02: You do get giddy by myself and play the roller coaster ramp over and over again.
20:41
SPEAKER_02: The roller coaster actually, that roller coaster ramp is so cool.
20:44
SPEAKER_02: So Kale, on the when you get to the upper play field, that like Vuck shoots it up.
20:48
SPEAKER_02: There's two shots.
20:49
SPEAKER_02: And the one that's like on the outer shot, it it's you don't you almost don't see it in the pictures, but it wraps around and goes back and then down the the like ski slope thing.
20:58
SPEAKER_02: It that is really actually pretty cool.
21:00
SPEAKER_02: You could you couldn't hit it though.
21:02
SPEAKER_02: I know, but I saw other people do it.
21:04
SPEAKER_02: No wonder you didn't like it.
21:07
SPEAKER_02: Okay, well, we'll wait till we get to Beetlejuice then, because if if we're gonna talk shit.
21:11
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
21:12
SPEAKER_02: Uh we're not done with that.
21:13
SPEAKER_02: We're not done with Turner yet.
21:16
SPEAKER_02: So good luck, Kale.
21:19
SPEAKER_02: What are is the bat gonna get one?
21:21
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we'll we'll have one.
21:23
SPEAKER_03: Um yeah.
21:25
SPEAKER_03: Uh from our friends at Starship Fantasy.
21:28
SPEAKER_03: They're they're hooking us up with one.
21:29
SPEAKER_03: So good.
21:31
SPEAKER_03: All the folks at the bat can come check it out.
21:34
SPEAKER_03: Well, there you go.
21:34
SPEAKER_02: You'll you'll have a Yeti.
21:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
21:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
21:36
SPEAKER_02: I'll I'll I'll be all back in the local arcade.
21:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
21:39
SPEAKER_02: There we go.
21:39
SPEAKER_02: Give give the I'll contribute some money to the bat.
21:42
SPEAKER_02: Um where else are we?
21:45
SPEAKER_02: So I did want to talk about something that well actually no, now that we have we'll we'll do that later because let's do Beetlejuice with Don is here because I don't want to take too much of his time.
21:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
21:54
SPEAKER_02: So you when are you getting yours at the bat?
21:58
SPEAKER_02: Should be next week, right?
21:59
SPEAKER_02: Because Mark has
22:00
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
22:01
SPEAKER_03: Should be next week.
22:03
SPEAKER_03: Mark Mark is actually with you guys right now.
22:07
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was watching him on the tournament.
22:09
SPEAKER_03: You know, Carpool is uh, you know, streaming the the tournament, and Mark Mark is in it.
22:15
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
22:16
SPEAKER_02: Did he make it to the finals?
22:17
SPEAKER_03: He did.
22:18
SPEAKER_02: Oh, good.
22:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, of course.
22:20
SPEAKER_02: Well then hopefully he can deliver your Beetlejuice to the bat.
22:24
SPEAKER_02: And um I did talk to him the other day though, Kale.
22:27
SPEAKER_02: He's like, well, I kind of want to keep it for a week.
22:29
SPEAKER_02: So it might be a week from next week.
22:32
SPEAKER_03: Right.
22:32
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we don't know.
22:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
22:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he he keeps it at the house for a little bit and plays it.
22:36
SPEAKER_02: It's a good move.
22:37
SPEAKER_02: It's a good move.
22:38
SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
22:39
SPEAKER_02: So we went over there.
22:40
SPEAKER_02: We got to play it.
22:42
SPEAKER_02: Well, first of all, let's talk about the booth.
22:43
SPEAKER_02: The booth is badass.
22:44
SPEAKER_02: Like, there's a giant kale.
22:46
SPEAKER_02: There's a freaking Beetlejuice that's like it hits the ceiling at so high.
22:50
SPEAKER_02: Where did they get that?
22:51
SPEAKER_02: That's the 20-foot-tall inflatable T Move Beetlejuice.
22:53
SPEAKER_02: It wasn't a T Move, was it?
22:56
SPEAKER_02: Factory for the midnight release.
22:57
SPEAKER_02: So when we all went over to the factory after the party to go play it, like you come around the corner and it was Beetlejuice at midnight and the fog backlit.
23:04
SPEAKER_02: It was amazing.
23:05
SPEAKER_02: It's cool.
23:05
SPEAKER_02: It's touching the ceiling of the event center here.
23:07
SPEAKER_02: It's so big.
23:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it doesn't even make it like the head is a little bit like tilted down.
23:12
SPEAKER_02: It that's cool though.
23:13
SPEAKER_02: You definitely know where they are.
23:14
SPEAKER_02: Like you'll you can't miss the Beetlejuice.
23:16
SPEAKER_02: Give you props.
23:17
SPEAKER_02: You you announced on the a lot of things happen on the round table.
23:22
SPEAKER_02: You announced the midnight launch on the round table that you were thinking about doing that.
23:26
SPEAKER_02: That's right.
23:26
SPEAKER_02: You did an expo.
23:27
SPEAKER_02: You did.
23:28
SPEAKER_02: I lobbied hard for that.
23:29
SPEAKER_02: I kept coming to the guys and they're like, we're busy with the launch.
23:31
SPEAKER_02: We don't know what day it's gonna be, how would this even work?
23:33
SPEAKER_02: I said, hold my hold my beetle beer.
23:36
SPEAKER_02: Just me.
23:38
SPEAKER_02: And we made it happen.
23:39
SPEAKER_02: And it was amazing and so much fun.
23:41
SPEAKER_02: And they loved it so much.
23:42
SPEAKER_02: We had so much Chipotle.
23:43
SPEAKER_02: We're thinking of doing it again.
23:44
SPEAKER_02: Good.
23:45
SPEAKER_02: Well, I think it should be absolutely doing it again.
23:47
SPEAKER_02: You should definitely do it again.
23:50
SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be bigger next time.
23:53
SPEAKER_02: Good.
23:54
SPEAKER_02: All right, I can't remember.
23:54
SPEAKER_02: There's no speculation on the shuffle multi-ball.
23:57
SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be great.
23:58
SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be awesome.
23:59
SPEAKER_02: So how many do you have set up here?
24:01
SPEAKER_02: How many show games?
24:02
SPEAKER_02: 19.
24:03
SPEAKER_02: And they're packed, Kale.
24:06
SPEAKER_02: Packed with people.
24:07
SPEAKER_02: People.
24:08
SPEAKER_02: The cool thing is though, because there's so many, like the lines do get long, but it's not it, it moves.
24:13
SPEAKER_02: Like you can actually play the game, I feel like, because there's so many.
24:16
SPEAKER_02: Just about everyone is two groups deep.
24:18
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so yeah.
24:18
SPEAKER_02: It's still like reasonable, you know?
24:20
SPEAKER_02: Like you go to play Yeti, and you're gonna be waiting for a good 45 minutes, probably maybe even an hour.
24:25
SPEAKER_02: And then Don has a uh a two Beetlejuice in a tent, and I finally got in there today, and the sound is much, much better.
24:35
SPEAKER_02: You can really hear very nice.
24:37
SPEAKER_03: How many Yetis are on the floor?
24:40
SPEAKER_02: Two.
24:40
SPEAKER_02: Two.
24:41
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
24:41
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's rough.
24:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's tough.
24:44
SPEAKER_02: It's a big line.
24:44
SPEAKER_02: I can't get this guy to.
24:45
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, hey, I want to play it again.
24:46
SPEAKER_02: He's I want to wait in the line.
24:48
SPEAKER_02: He won't wait long.
24:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
24:52
SPEAKER_02: And it's playing Yeti's playing long.
24:54
SPEAKER_02: Um at least what adjustment did he make to it?
24:57
SPEAKER_02: No, because he changed something in the outlanes.
24:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the outlane posts were all the way open, so he closed them.
25:02
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
25:02
SPEAKER_02: Or closed up.
25:03
SPEAKER_02: Oh no, he opened them up, yeah.
25:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because they were playing really long.
25:05
SPEAKER_02: When we first got here and he turned them on, people were playing forever.
25:09
SPEAKER_02: And so he he he made it a little bit harder.
25:12
SPEAKER_02: But my only I've only played Beetlejuice twice.
25:15
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
25:15
SPEAKER_02: I my complaint is I can't find the shots.
25:19
SPEAKER_02: It's it's a Jamie issue.
25:20
SPEAKER_02: I just can't find them.
25:22
SPEAKER_02: And well, and in your defense, when I first got it, Kale, I I tell I talked about this in my video on Beetlejuice.
25:29
SPEAKER_02: When I first got it, I I had a hard time with the shots for like the first probably 10 to 15 games.
25:35
SPEAKER_02: And then it started like, oh my gosh, this is so fun.
25:38
SPEAKER_02: So I get that though.
25:39
SPEAKER_02: Like, you need to we just need to go play it more.
25:42
SPEAKER_02: I I'm I'm I just need I've only played two, so it's not a fair assessment on a game that's so crucial.
25:49
SPEAKER_02: Whooped his ass, whooped his ass.
25:51
SPEAKER_02: We should close it.
25:52
SPEAKER_02: Whooped it.
25:52
SPEAKER_02: We should just close up the tent and then just go in there and rage for an hour.
25:55
SPEAKER_04: We should.
25:58
SPEAKER_02: Uh we're tied, by the way, right now.
26:00
SPEAKER_02: I know we're tied three to three, Kale.
26:03
SPEAKER_02: Um, but it is absolutely beautiful.
26:06
SPEAKER_02: Uh it is a stunning game, and you're it's gonna look so good at the bat.
26:10
SPEAKER_02: It's gonna print money for you.
26:13
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure it will.
26:14
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think people are gonna love it.
26:16
SPEAKER_02: All right, Don, what else do you want to talk to us?
26:17
SPEAKER_02: I don't want to take you too long.
26:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, sure.
26:20
SPEAKER_02: Uh how about the homebrew section?
26:21
SPEAKER_02: It's amazing, kicking off crazy.
26:23
SPEAKER_02: I recorded some callouts in this booth right here.
26:26
SPEAKER_02: So let's pull things up.
26:27
SPEAKER_02: Explain that to people, Donnie, because we haven't even talked about that.
26:30
SPEAKER_02: Explain what what Dirty Pool is gonna be going on.
26:32
SPEAKER_02: Dirty Pool has a booth right here and a script, and you can just come in, reserve a time, and record the callouts of this thing for the homebrew community, and they're gonna put together a file.
26:42
SPEAKER_02: So if you're a homebrewer, you can draw from and you have all these voices to pull from to put you know common call-outs in there.
26:48
SPEAKER_02: Multi-ball Pop.
26:51
SPEAKER_02: You could use Retro Ralph, Don, or I'll be much lower on the list, uh, Jamie Birchell from the JBS show to get your call-outs.
27:00
SPEAKER_03: Man, I want to do that.
27:01
SPEAKER_02: What's really cool is I asked him, I said, this is what's awesome about Jeff is that he's doing this for free, basically.
27:08
SPEAKER_02: And and he does that for his career.
27:10
SPEAKER_02: So I mean he's he's like, it's probably gonna take me a good eight hours to sift through all of it and create the package.
27:15
SPEAKER_02: But I just think it's cool that he's gonna contribute his time for all these people that are building pin moment.
27:20
SPEAKER_02: It's just an awesome thing.
27:21
SPEAKER_02: But he but he's got like you can't see it, but there's a little like sound booth that he constructed, it's like right to the left of us.
27:27
SPEAKER_02: And he just he gives you the script, like Don said, you just read them off.
27:30
SPEAKER_02: It was it was actually pretty fun to do.
27:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it took five minutes, Kale.
27:33
SPEAKER_02: You read not even five, took two, three minutes, you read them off.
27:37
SPEAKER_02: Bonus ball.
27:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, whatever.
27:39
SPEAKER_02: Player four.
27:40
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
27:41
SPEAKER_02: So was that your voice?
27:42
SPEAKER_02: Was that your voice?
27:43
SPEAKER_02: Tickle balls.
27:44
SPEAKER_02: I forget what I did.
27:44
SPEAKER_02: It's something cool.
27:46
SPEAKER_02: I didn't have headphones on it.
27:47
SPEAKER_02: I can set my head and do radio voice when I have headphones.
27:50
SPEAKER_02: Um, but the the homebrew section is is the biggest that TPS ever had.
27:55
SPEAKER_02: Um, it's not as quite as big as Expo, but it's gonna get there, KO.
27:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's pretty solid.
28:01
SPEAKER_02: I mean, my my I'm trying to think of what my favorite thing in the homebrew section probably is.
28:05
SPEAKER_02: Big Trouble in Little China is is is is still a big hit.
28:08
SPEAKER_02: And then Top Gun was uh released here, and the sound package and some of the shots on Top Gun are the spinner, the spinner sound on Top Gun is pretty badass.
28:19
SPEAKER_02: And then did you guys hear what they're doing with Bootlegger?
28:21
SPEAKER_02: What that whole project is?
28:22
SPEAKER_02: No.
28:22
SPEAKER_02: No, that's a team that got together, and they they want to make a game that's gonna be open source.
28:27
SPEAKER_02: And so they're gonna have uh I think Marco's gonna carry the parts for it, and you can get a flat pack cabinet to put together and you can build this at home and follow YouTube instruction videos step by step to recreate that game.
28:40
SPEAKER_02: Dude, that is freaking sick.
28:42
SPEAKER_02: Mark.
28:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, like if you want to, you know, you're intimidated, but you want to build something, you can buy this and essentially IKEA yourself a game and learn the process.
28:50
SPEAKER_02: So I bet they'll you'll also be able to put the call outs that dirty pool on it, right?
28:55
SPEAKER_02: If it's open open like that.
28:56
SPEAKER_02: I think once you learn the process, then it's yours to kind of food.
29:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that is how you'll probably do that when you do it.
29:03
SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
29:03
SPEAKER_02: 100%.
29:04
SPEAKER_02: That's pretty cool.
29:05
SPEAKER_02: Jimmy's like, I'm not putting shit together, man.
29:08
SPEAKER_02: I'm even putting this shit together.
29:09
SPEAKER_02: Well, I'll do it.
29:10
SPEAKER_02: I'll do it as a I that I think it'll be fun.
29:12
SPEAKER_02: I would totally do that.
29:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, of course.
29:14
SPEAKER_02: I'm in.
29:15
SPEAKER_02: I like to tinker, so you know.
29:17
SPEAKER_02: Well, don and Kale, real quick, while we have Donnie here for another minute, uh, we've tried to bridge the gap between Jingus, Jengus, and and and my boy here, Ralph.
29:27
SPEAKER_02: It's not working yet.
29:28
SPEAKER_03: No, we're not there.
29:30
SPEAKER_02: We're not there yet.
29:32
SPEAKER_02: We're just not there yet.
29:33
SPEAKER_02: So we'll Ralph might have to fly to Denmark.
29:36
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna believe it.
29:37
SPEAKER_02: We're making some headway.
29:38
SPEAKER_02: You do?
29:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
29:39
SPEAKER_02: I think we're checking.
29:40
SPEAKER_02: But am I gonna have to fly to Denmark to do it?
29:42
SPEAKER_02: Potentially.
29:43
SPEAKER_02: Depends on how it goes.
29:44
SPEAKER_02: I'll fly to the Netherlands.
29:46
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna go to the Netherlands and be quizzing.
29:49
SPEAKER_02: And Don's like, oh no, I'm in Denmark, Ralph.
29:51
SPEAKER_02: He doesn't live in the Netherlands.
29:54
SPEAKER_02: Jenkins, it's gonna take me some time.
29:56
SPEAKER_02: I'm working on it.
29:57
SPEAKER_02: I love you, buddy.
29:58
SPEAKER_02: Come back.
29:59
SPEAKER_02: Come on, man.
30:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's all gonna work out.
30:01
SPEAKER_02: All right.
30:02
SPEAKER_02: Donnie, thank you.
30:04
SPEAKER_02: Of course, you're the best, guys.
30:06
SPEAKER_02: Always a pleasure, sir.
30:08
SPEAKER_03: Good seeing you, Don.
30:09
SPEAKER_02: All right, brother.
30:10
SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for this.
30:11
SPEAKER_02: I really appreciate it.
30:13
SPEAKER_02: All right, all right, that was fun.
30:15
SPEAKER_02: So the one I think I think with uh I think since uh we didn't talk about this, I put it in the show notes, but I think it was really cool, Kale, how many people came up to us and just said how much they enjoy the round table.
30:29
SPEAKER_02: Like that's one of my favorite shows.
30:31
SPEAKER_02: It feels like three guys just hanging out shooting the shit about pinball.
30:34
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they said that a lot.
30:36
SPEAKER_02: Like a lot of people a lot of people came and said that to us.
30:40
SPEAKER_02: Like, where's Kale?
30:42
SPEAKER_02: We got a lot of where's Kale.
30:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we got a lot of where's Kale.
30:44
SPEAKER_02: Where's Rachel?
30:45
SPEAKER_02: And then we got a lot of, you know what I love about the round table?
30:48
SPEAKER_02: It's just three dudes hanging out.
30:50
SPEAKER_02: So that was cool.
30:51
SPEAKER_02: That was so it's very appreciative of everyone who came up to us.
30:54
SPEAKER_02: And uh thank you for you know watching and supporting the content for sure.
30:57
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
30:58
SPEAKER_02: And my son's in the chat, Colin Birchell.
31:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he puts all the IKEA stuff together for me.
31:02
SPEAKER_02: All right, well, so your son will put this pinball machine together.
31:05
SPEAKER_02: Colin, you want to put a pinball machine together, brother?
31:07
SPEAKER_02: You let us let me know.
31:08
SPEAKER_02: Uh let's go back to the notes here.
31:11
SPEAKER_02: Uh so we can't talk.
31:14
SPEAKER_02: I've told this story and so many times, Kale, that Ralph's upset with me.
31:19
SPEAKER_02: But my hand is a serious issue here.
31:22
SPEAKER_02: All right, let me show you this hand.
31:25
SPEAKER_02: Let me show you.
31:25
SPEAKER_02: Can you see it?
31:26
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
31:27
SPEAKER_03: But I you know, I saw the photo.
31:29
SPEAKER_03: I mean, it looks it it appears like a boxer's fracture.
31:35
SPEAKER_03: All right, so here's what happened.
31:36
SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm you know what I'm talking about?
31:38
SPEAKER_02: Like, it does like a boxer's fraction.
31:39
SPEAKER_02: Can I just third or fourth metacarpal my headset so I don't have to go away for the 700th time?
31:45
SPEAKER_02: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm walking down Christopher Tranche?
31:51
SPEAKER_03: Who's that?
31:52
SPEAKER_02: That's he's always in our chat.
31:53
SPEAKER_02: He's always in our chat.
31:54
SPEAKER_02: He's the best.
31:56
SPEAKER_03: But that's not that that's not Christopher Franchi.
31:58
SPEAKER_02: No, no, they're never seen in the same place at the same time.
32:01
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
32:02
SPEAKER_03: Thank you so much, Christopher Tranche.
32:04
SPEAKER_02: And Janine Birchell is here.
32:06
SPEAKER_02: I don't think I've had Janine Ralph's hair before.
32:08
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, I always wear a hat.
32:10
SPEAKER_02: The hair's kind of messy right now, but it's okay.
32:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's it's funny because it's kind of like yeah, you have uh an alter ego, you have the the Garth Brooks, and then the Chris Gaines, which you're doing right now.
32:22
SPEAKER_03: You remember that one?
32:26
SPEAKER_02: It's awesome.
32:27
SPEAKER_02: So anyway, my hand is broken, and uh broken.
32:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we even had a nurse.
32:34
SPEAKER_02: There was a nurse at the Stern party.
32:36
SPEAKER_02: I brought her over to assess Jamie's hand, and she's like, Look, I've been a nurse forever, and I've never had anybody come in that broke their hand from a handshake.
32:45
SPEAKER_02: It's not broken, it's just uh it's just really badly bruised.
32:49
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna get a swing.
32:51
SPEAKER_03: There's a first time for everything.
32:53
SPEAKER_02: So anyway, I think that looks broken.
32:56
SPEAKER_02: That guy shook my hand and crushed it in his meat paws, and now I'm uh giving fist bumps for us for my life.
33:06
SPEAKER_02: Never gonna shake a hand at it.
33:07
SPEAKER_02: It does look in your defense, it does look pretty bad.
33:09
SPEAKER_02: And he did come in.
33:10
SPEAKER_02: He I thought he was just gonna suplex you or something.
33:12
SPEAKER_02: I wasn't sure what was going on.
33:15
SPEAKER_02: But now that Don's not here, I need to find those shots on Beetlejuice because it's frustrating me, Kale.
33:21
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he was he was Kale, he was I saw him.
33:24
SPEAKER_02: He was actually like kind of like you were just pissed that you weren't hitting the shots.
33:27
SPEAKER_02: I'm just irritated with it.
33:29
SPEAKER_02: I can't find them.
33:30
SPEAKER_02: He'll get it.
33:31
SPEAKER_02: Um okay, let's go.
33:33
SPEAKER_02: What what do you want to talk about, Kale?
33:36
SPEAKER_03: Um I mean you guys tell me what's going on out there.
33:41
SPEAKER_03: Um you guys you guys are on the scene.
33:45
SPEAKER_02: So what manufacturers have the Stern booth is not run by Marco for the first time at TPF.
33:52
SPEAKER_02: It's run by Fun.
33:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's like a distributor or whatever.
33:56
SPEAKER_02: And um those lines are huge to get your Pokemon.
34:00
SPEAKER_02: No achievements though.
34:01
SPEAKER_02: A little bummed at that.
34:02
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
34:03
SPEAKER_02: There's been, yeah, I would say the the it there's there's definitely like a constant flow of people in that stern area.
34:10
SPEAKER_02: But my only my only bummer about it is it's super tight, Kale, to the point where you you feel like you're in like like sardines in a can.
34:17
SPEAKER_02: It's just it's almost too it's it's just they don't space it out enough.
34:22
SPEAKER_02: But people seem to be enjoying Pokemon, and uh I was talking to someone in line and I was we were we were talking about uh why do I always call it Arctic Yeti?
34:30
SPEAKER_02: I don't know why I keep calling it.
34:31
SPEAKER_02: He was calling it you what were you calling it?
34:35
SPEAKER_02: I've been calling it everything but what it actually is.
34:37
SPEAKER_02: I don't know why, but he was comparing um we were comparing that game to to Pokemon.
34:44
SPEAKER_02: He was just saying, he's like, look, this game is just really fun for me, and he didn't have as much fun.
34:49
SPEAKER_02: But his his fun factor was the same thing issue I have.
34:52
SPEAKER_02: It was the music and the call outs.
34:53
SPEAKER_02: He he's like, I really was expecting something more.
34:56
SPEAKER_02: So hopefully that's an opportunity for Chris between now and when it's in people's homes or arcades to make that better, you know.
35:04
SPEAKER_02: We are joined by the one and only.
35:06
SPEAKER_02: Hey, bro, do you even talk pinball formally?
35:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is officially formally now.
35:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
35:14
SPEAKER_01: Introduce yourself, sir.
35:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm Kevin Manny, uh Buffalo Pinball.
35:18
SPEAKER_01: You might know me from that.
35:19
SPEAKER_01: Uh now I'm uh working with multimorphic.
35:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
35:22
SPEAKER_01: So congrats.
35:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, congratulations.
35:24
SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
35:24
SPEAKER_02: Congratulations.
35:25
SPEAKER_02: We got to talk to Jerry.
35:27
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I got to talk to you on the floor.
35:30
SPEAKER_02: And Jerry was relieved that they weren't launching a game.
35:33
SPEAKER_02: Just uh he can kind of just enjoy the show.
35:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he seemed like he's like, this is fun because I get to actually just watch people and play my games and just talk to everybody.
35:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's kind of wild because normally I don't come to TPF because they invite me down to do the streams, and that's usually a a couple weeks before TPF.
35:50
SPEAKER_01: And I have a day job too, so I can't like okay, I'm going to Texas, and then like two weeks later, yeah, I'm going back to Texas again to play more pinball.
35:58
SPEAKER_01: So I would come down, do the streams, not go to TPF.
36:00
SPEAKER_01: So I didn't never really knew like kind of what the vibe was down here for them.
36:04
SPEAKER_01: And uh yeah, so what they've been saying is that this is a a more chill, like everybody just come out, hang out, play the games, yeah, uh, talk to talk to everybody at the company and and learn more about the P3.
36:15
SPEAKER_01: So this is it's great to have you here.
36:18
SPEAKER_01: What is your official role with with multimorphic and the P3 module?
36:22
SPEAKER_01: So I don't I don't think they ever gave me an official title, but yeah, I I do communications and social media, media relations.
36:29
SPEAKER_01: That's what I do in my day job.
36:30
SPEAKER_01: I do like public relations, so uh, you know, communications work, social media, all that.
36:35
SPEAKER_01: So if you've been seeing like some of the content that's been coming up on the multimorphic channels lately, uh, we've been getting really good uh results with those.
36:42
SPEAKER_01: Super happy with that.
36:43
SPEAKER_01: And so that's some of the work I've been doing.
36:44
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that is awesome.
36:46
SPEAKER_02: And so, Kale, at the at the booth, the multimorphic booth, how many machines do you have set up?
36:51
SPEAKER_02: 13, I think.
36:52
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
36:53
SPEAKER_02: It's pretty good sized booth, and it's spaced out nice, so it's not all crowded in there.
36:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they were saying they kind of like this new space.
36:59
SPEAKER_01: I guess they moved where the seminar room is, so they've got like a little more spread out area, they got a little table you can chill at.
37:05
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, some some giveaways and stuff.
37:07
SPEAKER_01: Say hi to Kale too, by the way.
37:08
SPEAKER_01: Hi, Kale.
37:09
SPEAKER_03: What's up, Kevin?
37:11
SPEAKER_03: Kevin, I have a question for you.
37:13
SPEAKER_03: So uh, as you know, uh, you know, bro, do you even talk pinball?
37:18
SPEAKER_03: It's been one of my favorite podcasts, pinball podcast, not just pinball podcasts, podcast period for years.
37:25
SPEAKER_03: And uh, I was so upset when you disappeared and it looked like it was just going away, and then bam, they come back with Joe Cheravino.
37:32
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
37:33
SPEAKER_03: Can you tell us, is it gonna continue with that duo?
37:36
SPEAKER_03: Are there gonna be other uh guest hosts?
37:38
SPEAKER_03: What's could what's going on?
37:39
SPEAKER_03: Can you give us some insight?
37:40
SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, we can't, if you haven't followed along, so I've been doing the podcast with Nick for like 10 plus years now, and uh, you know, this was a new opportunity for me.
37:51
SPEAKER_01: You know, I put a lot of time and energy into Twitch and content creation like you guys do, and I know it takes a lot of work and time and energy and all that, and I was like, you know, maybe it's time to try something new.
38:01
SPEAKER_01: And I had an opportunity with multimorphic.
38:03
SPEAKER_01: I've been working there for with them for a number of years now.
38:06
SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, let me shift my energy to that.
38:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
38:10
SPEAKER_01: And then I told Nick, I was like, it doesn't mean the podcast has to end.
38:13
SPEAKER_01: This is as much your show as it is mine, right?
38:15
SPEAKER_01: So um, you know, if you want to have a guest host, you know, it doesn't have to be monthly anymore.
38:20
SPEAKER_01: So my understanding is Nick's gonna do it quarterly, yeah, a couple times a year, four or four, four or five times a year.
38:26
SPEAKER_01: And then he's gonna he's planning on having rotating guests, um, but or rotating host, co-host, I should say.
38:33
SPEAKER_01: Um, but if somebody, I guess if somebody lands and they're really popular and it works really well, then it could end up being Joe or somebody else.
38:39
SPEAKER_01: I guess we'll see.
38:40
SPEAKER_01: Are you auditioning, Kale?
38:42
SPEAKER_01: Is that the guys want to take a turn being doing this on the podcast?
38:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that'd be a blast.
38:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm concerned.
38:51
SPEAKER_02: I'm concerned there's shit that was a round table.
38:55
SPEAKER_02: Oh shit.
38:56
SPEAKER_01: I did want to say I'm very honored to be on like the round table because I heard you're not having special guests anymore.
39:01
SPEAKER_02: So that's a bad topic.
39:04
SPEAKER_02: We're not gonna show it.
39:07
SPEAKER_02: Well, he he put his feet in his mouth.
39:09
SPEAKER_02: You don't know.
39:10
SPEAKER_02: It happens.
39:11
SPEAKER_02: It's all right.
39:12
SPEAKER_02: It's okay.
39:14
SPEAKER_02: Uh no, lines have been good throughout the show.
39:17
SPEAKER_02: A lot of people getting to play multimorphic.
39:19
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna go over there uh tonight, I think.
39:22
SPEAKER_02: Because there's uh uh from midnight to one tonight is like the VIP experience.
39:29
SPEAKER_02: I'm like an industry guy now.
39:30
SPEAKER_02: I get to do that stuff.
39:31
SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
39:32
SPEAKER_02: We get like a bad badge too.
39:33
SPEAKER_02: Is this I heard we needed something else, though.
39:36
SPEAKER_02: This gets us into that.
39:37
SPEAKER_02: I think this is all you need.
39:38
SPEAKER_02: Okay, because someone was saying that we I wasn't authorized.
39:40
SPEAKER_02: I was like, wait, I think the red badge gets me in, but I don't know, it might be like that VIP room you guys were looking for.
39:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that yeah, that oh, we need to sell it so funny, actually.
39:50
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
39:50
SPEAKER_02: We walked around for this VIP room, and we're you know, we're intoxicated, we're trying to find this VIP room.
39:58
SPEAKER_02: We finally walked Well, you have to take on the backstory.
40:01
SPEAKER_02: I kept feeding them like, hey, this is like to the media, it's probably gonna be super cool.
40:07
SPEAKER_02: There might even be a game in there and some food and craft services.
40:10
SPEAKER_02: I was, I was so I so they the expectations were high that we were gonna come to some Mecca room that was just gonna be amazing.
40:16
SPEAKER_02: It was gonna be the promised land.
40:17
SPEAKER_02: It was gonna be air conditioned with all the treats that we could possibly think of.
40:22
SPEAKER_02: And so we've we he he had me do it.
40:24
SPEAKER_02: I was going down the hallway opening up every single door because we didn't know the name of it for a while.
40:29
SPEAKER_02: So we finally find it.
40:31
SPEAKER_02: Taylor, I open the door, we rush in, and it's just a super bright room, two tables and chairs, and a pitcher of water, and that's it.
40:39
SPEAKER_02: That was all that was in there.
40:42
SPEAKER_02: It took us 30 minutes to find it.
40:43
SPEAKER_03: And there was uh Chris Hansen in the corner.
40:53
SPEAKER_01: We did go into the tournament room.
40:55
SPEAKER_01: Did you go in the tournament room and all?
40:56
SPEAKER_01: I have no where is the tournament room?
40:58
SPEAKER_01: I was about to say the VIP room.
41:00
SPEAKER_01: It's upstairs.
41:00
SPEAKER_01: It's upstairs.
41:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
41:03
SPEAKER_02: This room.
41:04
SPEAKER_02: No.
41:05
SPEAKER_03: Is it that bad?
41:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's terrible because it's it's 7,000 degrees.
41:11
SPEAKER_02: When we walked in, everyone looked at us like, please save us.
41:14
SPEAKER_02: Please save me.
41:15
SPEAKER_02: I need to get out of here.
41:16
SPEAKER_02: Like body elder is a problem.
41:19
SPEAKER_03: Is it is it but is it B O or is it flatulence?
41:23
SPEAKER_03: Or a myth?
41:24
SPEAKER_03: B O.
41:25
SPEAKER_03: Why not both?
41:25
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
41:29
SPEAKER_02: I think the air conditioner in this tournament room is broken.
41:33
SPEAKER_02: They have like some fans.
41:34
SPEAKER_02: They had floor fans, but they weren't even really working.
41:37
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
41:38
SPEAKER_02: And pinball people are not the come on, guys.
41:43
SPEAKER_02: Girls.
41:43
SPEAKER_02: Just put on the deodorant.
41:45
SPEAKER_02: I don't even know if it's a deodorant issue.
41:47
SPEAKER_02: It's so hot.
41:47
SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't think I would smell very good either if I was up there for six hours in like a humid, hot room.
41:53
SPEAKER_01: It's also like 90 degrees in Texas right now.
41:55
SPEAKER_01: So I came from Buffalo where it was like 20 degrees when I left.
41:58
SPEAKER_01: I was like, what am I getting myself into here?
41:59
SPEAKER_01: It's great.
42:00
SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the sun.
42:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
42:02
SPEAKER_01: Uh but it's pumped.
42:04
SPEAKER_03: Do you think it might be a do you think at for competitive pinball?
42:07
SPEAKER_03: Do you think it might be a tactic?
42:09
SPEAKER_03: Because you know, like at the gym I train at, some of the wrestlers, when they have competitions, they they won't they won't shower for like a week before the competition.
42:19
SPEAKER_03: Maybe it's a tactic.
42:21
SPEAKER_02: Could be.
42:22
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
42:22
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
42:23
SPEAKER_02: Ask anybody mark if that was his move or uh but anyway.
42:28
SPEAKER_02: Uh the tournament what do you think about the show?
42:31
SPEAKER_02: I mean, what did is this your first CPF?
42:33
SPEAKER_01: No, I came uh 2019, I think I was here last year.
42:37
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
42:38
SPEAKER_01: Um that's the I was trying to remember like what the new games were that year.
42:43
SPEAKER_01: Anyways, it's it's been a while.
42:44
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
42:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
42:45
SPEAKER_01: Uh but it always time to come back, and um, I'm happy to be back.
42:48
SPEAKER_01: It's always such a good show.
42:50
SPEAKER_01: Um you know, it's it's big, but it's uh it feels more like a like a fan show than an industry show.
42:56
SPEAKER_01: So that's what I was trying to say.
42:59
SPEAKER_02: Verbatim you stole from from Raph is what go ahead, talk about that.
43:03
SPEAKER_02: No, that's how I feel.
43:04
SPEAKER_02: I feel like it doesn't, even though there are industry people here, it feels more like I don't know, like a hometown show.
43:10
SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have this big and also it doesn't uh expo is just a giant cement room, and this being carpeted and I don't know, it's just the light, like the all the ceiling is darker.
43:21
SPEAKER_02: It just I don't know, the whole vibe of it is completely different.
43:24
SPEAKER_02: And and it I love that it's freaking carpeted because an expo, I'm like trashed in 30 minutes, my feet hurt.
43:30
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, same it helps like keep the noise level down a little bit.
43:35
SPEAKER_02: Nothing reverberates all over the place, like it's a little bit more reasonable.
43:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so no, it's a cool show.
43:40
SPEAKER_02: I I really dig it, but so how about you guys?
43:42
SPEAKER_02: You you've both been, right?
43:44
SPEAKER_02: This is my first one.
43:45
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm really enjoying it.
43:47
SPEAKER_02: 2019 was my first.
43:48
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
43:49
SPEAKER_01: And I've been at every show s well, the twenty twenty got canceled, and then uh so I've been at every show since.
43:54
SPEAKER_01: Nice, yeah, yeah, yeah.
43:55
SPEAKER_01: It's a great show.
43:56
SPEAKER_01: Highly recommended if you haven't come.
43:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and there's still time.
43:59
SPEAKER_02: I mean this.
44:00
SPEAKER_02: Time tomorrow.
44:00
SPEAKER_02: I don't know what we're doing tomorrow.
44:02
SPEAKER_02: Just after off.
44:03
SPEAKER_02: But uh today I'm I'm dragging big time.
44:06
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
44:06
SPEAKER_02: I got like like five hours of sleep last night.
44:09
SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I got that.
44:10
SPEAKER_01: I got napping now, Kevin.
44:12
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, same.
44:14
SPEAKER_02: I love a good nap.
44:15
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I took it two hours.
44:19
SPEAKER_02: I'm napping.
44:19
SPEAKER_02: This is what I do now.
44:21
SPEAKER_02: I got him napping.
44:21
SPEAKER_02: He sent me training.
44:22
SPEAKER_02: He gave me nap training.
44:24
SPEAKER_02: That's great.
44:25
SPEAKER_02: We don't want to hold you.
44:27
SPEAKER_01: Good power nap.
44:28
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I appreciate you guys doing it.
44:29
SPEAKER_02: Something real quick though about like, how's the how's the reception been?
44:32
SPEAKER_02: Because I mean portals been around for a little while, but how is it?
44:35
SPEAKER_02: I know that code's been updated a couple times.
44:36
SPEAKER_02: Like, how's it going over there?
44:37
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, great.
44:38
SPEAKER_01: I think portals really change perceptions about the P3, you know, with that extended module down.
44:43
SPEAKER_01: Everybody's always said, you know, the screen, it's yeah, all the shots are so far away.
44:46
SPEAKER_01: Even though, you know, when you think when you look at it, the it's I think it's that straight line across the back is like a visual, like people can't see past that.
44:54
SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like a uh an optical illusion a little bit.
44:57
SPEAKER_01: But the walls and scoops are like kind of like where most shots are on a traditional pinball machine, but bringing stuff down even closer, people are like, oh wow, that's like all right, this is next level, right?
45:06
SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to see uh what's coming next.
45:08
SPEAKER_01: There is some cool stuff coming next.
45:09
SPEAKER_01: I've seen it.
45:10
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
45:11
SPEAKER_01: You've seen it.
45:12
SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
45:13
SPEAKER_02: So I can't tell you, but Dungeon Crawler Carl, or is that you guys?
45:18
SPEAKER_02: You doing that one?
45:19
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's not gonna tell you, man.
45:22
SPEAKER_02: I heard it was made of shark, actually.
45:24
SPEAKER_02: I love how he just said I can't say anything, and then you're like, at least you went for it.
45:28
SPEAKER_01: You went full.
45:29
SPEAKER_01: I mean, go for it.
45:30
SPEAKER_01: You doing the podcast, you gotta ask the question.
45:32
SPEAKER_01: I dropped that nugget out there for you, and you felt right for it.
45:36
SPEAKER_02: So can I leave, can I ask, is the is this uh is this an update to the platform or is the platform staying the same?
45:43
SPEAKER_02: I can't talk anything about what's going on next, but okay.
45:46
SPEAKER_01: Just stay tuned.
45:46
SPEAKER_01: Cool stuff's gonna be.
45:48
SPEAKER_01: Cool.
45:48
SPEAKER_01: It works and it seems like soon ish, or wait.
45:52
SPEAKER_01: I love this, man.
45:52
SPEAKER_01: You guys are trying to realize if I told you guys anything, I wouldn't be working with multimorbid personality.
46:00
SPEAKER_01: That's right.
46:00
SPEAKER_01: It's why that's why NDAs work.
46:03
SPEAKER_01: But you know, you can't fault us for trying, bro.
46:05
SPEAKER_01: Well, it's it's honestly like you can't spoil that that initial hype, you know.
46:09
SPEAKER_01: No, it's good they it's good that you know speculation, you know, built up excitement and stuff too.
46:13
SPEAKER_01: But like we saw stuff where games got launched and then it took forever for them to come out, and it's like you need that real excitement hype, and you don't want to spoil that ahead.
46:22
SPEAKER_01: No, I get that.
46:22
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna do that to those guys.
46:24
SPEAKER_01: And I guess I I'm one of those guys now, so appreciate that.
46:27
SPEAKER_01: Well, you're the best.
46:28
SPEAKER_01: Uh thank you for stopping in.
46:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I appreciate the invite, and uh Kale, you know, if you want to co-host with Nick, I'll let you know.
46:35
unknown: Okay, thank you.
46:36
SPEAKER_01: All right, guys.
46:37
SPEAKER_04: Thanks for being on my own.
46:40
SPEAKER_02: No, seriousness is absolutely one of my favorite shows, honestly.
46:44
SPEAKER_02: And I have been a fanboy of yours for a long time.
46:46
SPEAKER_02: So the fact that you know my name is fucking awesome.
46:48
SPEAKER_01: And ladies and gentlemen, look at this.
46:50
SPEAKER_01: Got the right team.
46:51
SPEAKER_01: See you guys.
46:52
SPEAKER_02: Thanks, brother.
46:54
SPEAKER_03: All right, now Jamie, it's happening.
46:58
SPEAKER_03: What's that?
46:59
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna do a show with Nick.
47:01
SPEAKER_03: I know.
47:01
SPEAKER_03: No, dude, you're gonna dump us.
47:04
SPEAKER_03: You're gonna have that it's the most unhinged pinball podcast you've ever seen in your life.
47:10
SPEAKER_01: You and Nick would be a disaster together.
47:12
SPEAKER_01: You'd be like, that's a piece of shit.
47:16
SPEAKER_03: Oh, man.
47:17
SPEAKER_03: That'd be fine.
47:19
SPEAKER_02: That is awesome.
47:20
SPEAKER_02: All right, let's go back to the notes.
47:22
SPEAKER_02: I think that's our last guess.
47:23
SPEAKER_02: We might have Carrie Hardy might come in.
47:25
SPEAKER_03: Where's Emoto?
47:27
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
47:28
SPEAKER_02: She's she's so all over, man.
47:30
SPEAKER_02: She's been running around everywhere.
47:32
SPEAKER_03: Call call Carrie.
47:34
SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna call him.
47:37
SPEAKER_02: If he comes, he comes.
47:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, if he comes, it's cool.
47:39
SPEAKER_02: All right, so what um what do we got?
47:41
SPEAKER_02: So we did American Pinball, broke my hand, we did the VIP.
47:45
SPEAKER_02: You can UConn Yeti or uh whatever the hell you were calling it.
47:50
SPEAKER_02: Beaver.
47:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Arctic Beaver.
47:51
SPEAKER_02: Bobby Order, tournament room.
47:53
SPEAKER_02: All right, the Stern Army Party.
47:56
SPEAKER_02: That was pretty fun.
47:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the Stern Arm Army Party was good.
47:59
SPEAKER_02: We just, you know, kind of we just kind of hung out and talked and chilled.
48:03
SPEAKER_02: Where was it?
48:03
SPEAKER_02: It's just at the bar, like that bar of the hotel.
48:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I mean it's not like it it was fine.
48:09
SPEAKER_02: It was fine in the bar, you know.
48:11
SPEAKER_02: Um what do you think about this hotel itself?
48:14
SPEAKER_02: Hotel's kind of a piece of shit.
48:16
SPEAKER_02: I mean it's kind of a piece of shit, Cal.
48:18
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a shitty hotel, but um like it's it's wet, it's weathered, you know, weathered.
48:23
SPEAKER_03: I like how the people that work there stopped behind you as you're saying that.
48:28
SPEAKER_03: Okay, what what a what a shit hotel this is.
48:34
SPEAKER_03: Oh no.
48:35
SPEAKER_02: They were like, what the hell?
48:37
SPEAKER_02: What are you saying?
48:38
SPEAKER_02: I saw I'm staying at the hotel across the way, which is the Hyatt Regency.
48:42
SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's it's kind of bougie over there.
48:44
SPEAKER_02: Like it feels like you're going to this bougie place now.
48:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
48:46
SPEAKER_02: But I just every time I drop his ass off, I'm pissed off.
48:50
SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty happy.
48:51
SPEAKER_03: Hey, uh, so so the chat is asking about barrels.
48:54
SPEAKER_03: Do they have a booth?
48:55
SPEAKER_03: Do they bring Winchester?
48:57
SPEAKER_03: What what's what's going on?
48:59
SPEAKER_02: The barrels set up.
49:01
SPEAKER_02: Go for it.
49:02
SPEAKER_02: Barrels brought two Winchesters, two dunes, two labyrinths, but there's a VIP room.
49:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's a room.
49:09
SPEAKER_02: A real VIP room.
49:10
SPEAKER_02: They're calling it the quiet room.
49:12
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's killer, dude, because they got all the games cranked up audio, so you can really you can really like focus on them.
49:19
SPEAKER_02: They got all them, all of them updated with the latest audio packages.
49:22
SPEAKER_02: It sounds it sounds awesome.
49:24
SPEAKER_02: So Brian Savage and uh some of the guys, the line workers brought us in there.
49:29
SPEAKER_02: We well, when we went in, it was super sweet because no one, I don't know if it was open yet, because it was it was only like us and them, right?
49:36
SPEAKER_02: There was no one in there yet.
49:37
SPEAKER_02: So it was kind of sweet.
49:37
SPEAKER_02: We had a little bit of like a private time with Winchester and Dune and Labyrinth, which we played a little bit.
49:43
SPEAKER_02: And we went out to dinner with Travis Boseman.
49:45
SPEAKER_02: That was awesome.
49:46
SPEAKER_02: Actually, that was great.
49:48
SPEAKER_02: And uh Travis, we were trying to pull as much information from Travis too.
49:53
SPEAKER_02: He is he's a vault, he wouldn't give us anything.
49:55
SPEAKER_02: Uh, designer of Dune.
49:57
SPEAKER_02: But the room itself is really cool because you can hear Jeff Dotson's.
50:02
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it totally outfaces the audio.
50:05
SPEAKER_02: His bre it people are here are not going to be able to experience that unless they can get into this room.
50:12
SPEAKER_02: And it's for it's not just for VIPs, not that we're VIPs.
50:16
SPEAKER_02: It's really for pe barrels owners.
50:18
SPEAKER_02: Hey, brother, camera.
50:21
SPEAKER_02: And um but I will say this though, that those games kale, like I don't I think at a bar people would enjoy them.
50:29
SPEAKER_02: But if you're at a home, they've they Dune is like Dune went from something that I didn't care at all about to it's freaking amazing now.
50:36
SPEAKER_02: Like it is really, really solid.
50:38
SPEAKER_02: Um, like the gameplay is awesome, and it's so deep.
50:41
SPEAKER_02: The rules, like Jeff was going through the rules with us on that game.
50:44
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Jeff.
50:45
SPEAKER_02: I retained like maybe 10% of what he was saying, but I don't know.
50:48
SPEAKER_02: No it he was he was doing surge level, almost like surge level analysis on it.
50:53
SPEAKER_02: But uh that game's fun, man.
50:55
SPEAKER_02: Like it's a cool game, and the lighting, the lighting and the sound and all the orchestration of that game is it's like top notch.
51:01
SPEAKER_02: And that and Winchester, so I'm excited to see what they do next, and I hope whatever they do will be something that isn't so limited run.
51:08
SPEAKER_02: So maybe I could buy it.
51:09
SPEAKER_02: But uh you know, Winchester is is Winchester's so fucking good.
51:16
SPEAKER_02: I think if you were to ask us what our favorite game is that we played in here, Winchester's definitely up there.
51:22
SPEAKER_02: For me, it's Winchester all day long.
51:24
SPEAKER_02: It's so good.
51:25
SPEAKER_02: No, it it it and it the the code's gotten even better and it's shooting really great, um, especially in that room because it's not getting the play.
51:35
SPEAKER_02: There's no flipper.
51:36
SPEAKER_02: The turntable thing is awesome.
51:37
SPEAKER_02: The the magnet that stops the ball where the where the um I always forget the name of that technology.
51:43
SPEAKER_02: It's old school technology, the thing that uh peppers ghost.
51:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, where the pepper's ghost thing happens, and then it like the magnet like sucks the ball in, and then there's this like cool.
51:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, in the spiderweb.
51:54
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's so damn cool.
51:55
SPEAKER_02: It looks like it's you know, just like in the old like Space Invaders and all those games that use that pepper's ghost effect.
52:01
SPEAKER_02: It looks so freaking badass.
52:03
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
52:03
SPEAKER_02: That game I can't.
52:04
SPEAKER_02: I I really wish they would consider making more of them, but I know they're not gonna.
52:08
SPEAKER_02: Uh that's one I just want to own.
52:09
SPEAKER_02: I want to own it so bad.
52:11
SPEAKER_02: And it and it's you know, you don't come across games.
52:13
SPEAKER_02: Hey, here he is.
52:15
SPEAKER_02: Literally, we were literally giving a virtual.
52:17
SPEAKER_02: See, we're talking about you.
52:18
SPEAKER_02: Did someone say Winchester?
52:19
SPEAKER_02: We were giving a virtual DJ to Winchester PC.
52:22
SPEAKER_00: My ears were ringing.
52:23
SPEAKER_00: Side of Kale.
52:24
SPEAKER_03: Hi, Kale.
52:25
SPEAKER_03: Hey, what's up, Jeff?
52:26
SPEAKER_00: Why do you look like you're not in Texas?
52:28
SPEAKER_00: Because remote.
52:30
SPEAKER_00: Because I'm not.
52:31
SPEAKER_00: I'm in Arizona.
52:33
SPEAKER_02: Um we were just giving you props on first of all, thank you for taking us to that VIP calling the chat room.
52:40
SPEAKER_00: It's not really just for VIPs and stuff, it's just in order to keep it from being it felt really special.
52:45
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it was it was honestly, it was named the Retro Ralph and Debian game.
52:49
SPEAKER_00: Okay, no, thank you.
52:49
SPEAKER_00: So we never rename it.
52:51
SPEAKER_00: No, it's just we didn't want it to be overly congested, so it was just like when people showed interest in the game, we'd be like, hey, well, if you really want to check it out, it's over there.
52:58
SPEAKER_00: Cool.
52:59
SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
53:00
SPEAKER_02: Um we were just saying, and that it's it's just one of our favorite games that we played here to show again.
53:08
SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
53:08
SPEAKER_00: Are you saying that?
53:08
SPEAKER_00: Because I sat here.
53:09
SPEAKER_00: No, no, we we said go back and rewind.
53:12
SPEAKER_00: You will say I'll have to rewind it.
53:14
SPEAKER_00: What time code are we at?
53:15
SPEAKER_00: My voice is shot.
53:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what are we at?
53:17
SPEAKER_02: Actually, are we?
53:18
SPEAKER_02: Are we it's not even an hour in?
53:19
SPEAKER_02: You know, I couldn't believe that.
53:21
SPEAKER_02: So if if you just joined us, Jeff Dodson, Dirty Pool Pinball, joining us here.
53:27
SPEAKER_02: Uh set up a sound booth, and we talked about that in detail with Don from Don's Pinball Park.
53:32
SPEAKER_02: I said too, and we gave you total props of what you're doing for the homebrew community for your free time, and thank you so much, dude.
53:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's awesome for for that.
53:41
SPEAKER_00: I mean, they killed it just like Expo.
53:43
SPEAKER_00: There's so many creative games here.
53:45
SPEAKER_00: I really like the racing run.
53:46
SPEAKER_00: I think it's called TurboTime.
53:48
SPEAKER_00: Definitely worth checking it out.
53:49
SPEAKER_00: Um, I I did a few interviews for him, but just like the games don't have call outs, and you can't just like magically make it happen.
53:56
SPEAKER_00: So that's what this is for.
53:58
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
53:58
SPEAKER_00: Some people here have really great radio voices, some people have voiceover experience.
54:01
SPEAKER_00: There's gonna be some awesome call-outs, and then there's some there's just like a little girl that wanted to do it.
54:05
SPEAKER_00: Like we have a whole mashup.
54:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so it's gonna have a ton to pull from.
54:08
SPEAKER_02: What you said it was like four hours, or yeah.
54:11
SPEAKER_00: I mean, we had over 55, 60 people that did it, you know, call-out sheets, about 30, 40 call-outs plus extra time if they wanted to.
54:17
SPEAKER_00: So it's yeah.
54:19
SPEAKER_02: Uh, chat is asking, what was your feeling on Yukon Yeti?
54:23
SPEAKER_02: I haven't played it yet.
54:24
SPEAKER_02: I keep getting in line and then I keep leaving the line.
54:28
SPEAKER_00: It looks amazing.
54:29
SPEAKER_00: I like Whitewater.
54:30
SPEAKER_00: I think this looks like a more developed version of Whitewater.
54:33
SPEAKER_00: I talked to Nordman about it.
54:34
SPEAKER_00: He's like the nicest guy.
54:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
54:37
SPEAKER_00: And he's just like such a, I don't know, man, he's like grandfather pinball kind of vibes, you know?
54:42
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's just, it's I can't wait.
54:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go get in line again after this.
54:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're gonna I think maybe tonight, the later hours, we'll we'll probably be able to play it a lot easier, right?
54:51
SPEAKER_02: Because it'll be less, there'll be less people in here.
54:53
SPEAKER_02: So so maybe we'll be able to play it more.
54:55
SPEAKER_02: I I want to get more time on it personally, but I I do too.
54:58
SPEAKER_00: But uh have you have either of you played it?
55:00
SPEAKER_02: I played we both played twice.
55:02
SPEAKER_02: What did what's the vibe?
55:04
SPEAKER_02: Um it needs call-outs from a guy named Jeff Dodson.
55:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, my my thing, I was my summary of it.
55:10
SPEAKER_02: We'll use other ones from the booth.
55:12
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, my summary of it is is it's like incomplete to me because I want it to like be this all-encompassing experience, and I feel like the gameplay is cool, but the other stuff isn't like bringing it all together.
55:24
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
55:24
SPEAKER_02: And if and if it did, I I feel like it could go from a a good game to a great game.
55:29
SPEAKER_02: So that's kind of my fair assessment.
55:32
SPEAKER_02: I I I think so.
55:33
SPEAKER_02: That's how I actually that's 100% how I feel.
55:36
SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't not call you a liar.
55:37
SPEAKER_02: I believe.
55:39
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's nice that you appreciate audio so much that it can it can be not good and impede the experience.
55:45
SPEAKER_00: I think that shows how important audio is.
55:47
SPEAKER_00: So wow.
55:48
SPEAKER_00: I think Chris is really open to feedback.
55:50
SPEAKER_00: I think that Chris has read a lot of that stuff, and I I think that Turner's gonna do something about that.
55:54
SPEAKER_02: All right, good.
55:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that'd be awesome.
55:55
SPEAKER_02: Oh, there you go.
55:56
SPEAKER_02: All right, you gotta be here first.
55:57
SPEAKER_02: But anyway, to put a bow on barrels.
56:00
SPEAKER_02: Uh great job.
56:01
SPEAKER_02: Big lines.
56:03
SPEAKER_02: They got barrel ball is like tonight.
56:07
SPEAKER_02: We tried to do it last night, but we were inebriated.
56:10
SPEAKER_02: Jeff, it wouldn't have, it wouldn't have it wouldn't have been bad.
56:13
SPEAKER_00: The good thing about barrel ball is that you you can be very drunk and still do well.
56:17
SPEAKER_02: That's the best part about barrel ball.
56:18
SPEAKER_02: So maybe we should do it tonight.
56:19
SPEAKER_02: Maybe we'll do it tonight at 10 o'clock.
56:21
SPEAKER_00: But it's a really cool feature on which game on all of them, right?
56:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it is on all of them.
56:26
SPEAKER_00: Uh, I think we did it on Labyrinth uh yesterday.
56:29
SPEAKER_00: I think it'll probably be on labyrinth just because it's the most out of the booth of a gave game.
56:33
SPEAKER_00: It's easiest to make a line on.
56:35
SPEAKER_03: So all right, Kale, any questions for Jeff from Tempi?
56:39
SPEAKER_03: Uh when are you coming to Arizona?
56:41
SPEAKER_03: Dude, I would love to.
56:42
SPEAKER_00: I've never been to the bat.
56:43
SPEAKER_00: I've never been to the bat.
56:44
SPEAKER_00: That's yeah, you got religious.
56:46
SPEAKER_02: I we will have let me roll out the red carpet.
56:49
SPEAKER_02: I don't want to, I want to, I want, I want, I don't want a carpet, I want mud.
56:53
SPEAKER_02: We'll roll out the mud.
56:55
SPEAKER_02: Let me tell you, and and I and I say this all the time, ladies and gentlemen.
56:59
SPEAKER_02: First of all, if you want to go on the cheap, go in August.
57:02
SPEAKER_02: Okay, it's cheap as hell.
57:04
SPEAKER_02: Southwest flies there for 200 bucks a game.
57:07
SPEAKER_02: Your your place, that little place you rented was pretty, it was like an it was weird, Jeff.
57:11
SPEAKER_02: They they Airbnb'd an apartment, which I thought was weird because I didn't even know you could Airbnb an apartment.
57:16
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if that's but you can apparently.
57:18
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
57:19
SPEAKER_02: But it was a cool little setup, right?
57:20
SPEAKER_02: That place was legit.
57:21
SPEAKER_02: We ought to people there, it was awesome.
57:23
SPEAKER_03: I can tell you right now, you want to stay out of the valley right now because everything is hyper expensive because of spring training.
57:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
57:32
SPEAKER_03: Right.
57:32
SPEAKER_03: So wait, wait for that to finish and then wait till after summer, because it's it's about to get way too hot.
57:39
SPEAKER_02: I need more you can come in the summer, it's just cheap and hot.
57:42
SPEAKER_02: Cheap and hot.
57:42
SPEAKER_02: Just stay at the back.
57:43
SPEAKER_02: I lived in Tucson for five years, so I don't mind.
57:46
SPEAKER_02: You got it.
57:47
SPEAKER_00: You'll live.
57:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
57:48
SPEAKER_03: Tucson's a different story.
57:50
SPEAKER_03: That'll be it could be uh 10 to 20 degrees difference.
57:54
SPEAKER_00: Is it a is it a worse story or a better story?
57:57
SPEAKER_03: Oh, Tucson's way cooler than Phoenix.
57:59
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's a story.
58:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because the feat just kind of sits in the valley.
58:02
SPEAKER_02: It's a bummer.
58:03
SPEAKER_02: Anyway.
58:04
SPEAKER_02: Uh is killing it.
58:06
SPEAKER_02: And uh you gotta go to the bat though.
58:08
SPEAKER_02: Seriously.
58:09
SPEAKER_02: In all seriousness.
58:09
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
58:10
SPEAKER_02: Take the fam, take them down.
58:12
SPEAKER_02: They'll show you a great time.
58:13
SPEAKER_02: And you gotta come.
58:15
SPEAKER_02: What I do, ladies and gentlemen, is I try to come in on a f on a Saturday and catch the last Sunday of every month is Chewy's Tournament.
58:24
SPEAKER_02: Am I right?
58:25
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
58:26
SPEAKER_02: Last Sunday.
58:27
SPEAKER_02: Last Sunday.
58:28
SPEAKER_02: So what you do is you fly in on a Saturday, play Chewy's on a Sunday, and then play if you can get a spot, because they're running, I mean, 120 to 120 plus people.
58:41
SPEAKER_02: Wow, that's a big tournament.
58:42
SPEAKER_02: On Tuesday's.
58:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's pretty solid.
58:44
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
58:44
SPEAKER_00: It's all a match play.
58:45
SPEAKER_00: How are you doing?
58:46
SPEAKER_03: Every week.
58:46
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, match play.
58:47
SPEAKER_00: Every week they do this.
58:49
SPEAKER_02: Wow, that's impressive.
58:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you gotta do it.
58:50
SPEAKER_03: And Rachel and I play in the tournament.
58:54
SPEAKER_02: I still don't know how you guys work that all out, but you do.
58:57
SPEAKER_02: Somehow make it happen.
58:58
SPEAKER_02: He doesn't play on Chewy'cause he streams it.
59:00
SPEAKER_00: People from our league have taken trips to Phoenix just to go to the bat.
59:04
SPEAKER_00: It's awesome.
59:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm not I'm not even joking.
59:06
SPEAKER_00: That there was no other objective in Phoenix other than to go to the bat.
59:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I didn't do anything else, but hang out with them.
59:11
SPEAKER_02: We had a blast.
59:12
SPEAKER_02: And if you come down, we're gonna do the same thing.
59:14
SPEAKER_02: Well, I'll hang out, have a good time.
59:16
SPEAKER_02: That'd be great.
59:17
SPEAKER_02: Just hit me up because I'll I might go with you.
59:19
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
59:20
SPEAKER_02: All right.
59:22
SPEAKER_02: That would be easy.
59:23
SPEAKER_02: He has a cat.
59:24
SPEAKER_02: I'm allergic to cat.
59:25
SPEAKER_02: So no, get an Airbnb.
59:26
SPEAKER_02: We'll get an Airbnb.
59:28
SPEAKER_02: We don't want to bother him.
59:29
SPEAKER_02: We'll just get an Airbnb ride in Tempe and uh they have uh Waymo's.
59:34
SPEAKER_00: It's a great situation.
59:35
SPEAKER_00: Have you wrote wait, did you ride in a Waymo?
59:38
SPEAKER_02: They're all over LA, and I'm just like like I want to, but you know we were the test market for it, so like they're pretty they they've been around for a while.
59:47
SPEAKER_02: They're fine, they're safe.
59:48
SPEAKER_02: I've gone to them a couple times.
59:50
SPEAKER_02: It's Johnny, it's Johnny, it's Johnny cab in real life.
59:53
SPEAKER_02: And that that went down to right, yeah.
59:56
SPEAKER_02: Except without that part, right?
59:58
SPEAKER_02: It works out good.
1:00:00
SPEAKER_02: It works out great.
1:00:02
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, works good.
1:00:03
SPEAKER_02: Well, congrats on Barrels.
1:00:04
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I can't wait to see what's next from you guys.
1:00:07
SPEAKER_02: Uh you're you're killing it.
1:00:08
SPEAKER_02: Obviously, you can't even buy a Dune or a Winchester now.
1:00:12
SPEAKER_00: So which sucks, but you know how are we supposed to know how many people want to buy a game?
1:00:17
SPEAKER_02: No, I I you know we talked to Brian a lot about the launch of Dune and and the resurgence that it had, you know, especially once you joined the organization.
1:00:28
SPEAKER_02: Um, and it it it's a great machine.
1:00:31
SPEAKER_02: I got to play it in that room, and you could really see the lights.
1:00:36
SPEAKER_00: What was the gentleman that you brought in there?
1:00:38
SPEAKER_00: You were talking about Trent and Eric, who are responsible for doing all of the lighting effects and animations for it.
1:00:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
1:00:44
SPEAKER_00: They have they, you know, the howl lighting system, David and uh Brian talked about it on the seminar, that they were frustrated with you know how dark Labyrinth was, and that there was feedback about how the game was a little dark.
1:00:55
SPEAKER_00: And they developed the HAL Lighting system like a month before Dune was released.
1:01:00
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
1:01:00
SPEAKER_00: And part of it was the necessity of having like a day-night cycle.
1:01:03
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then that went in, and then Trent and Eric started making animations to utilizing the system.
1:01:08
SPEAKER_00: And you know, after Winchester came out, and then we went back and obviously revisited Dune, I think that we really found our legs and really developed that system, and it's it's it's awesome.
1:01:16
SPEAKER_00: It's really cool.
1:01:16
SPEAKER_02: You were pointing out things to us.
1:01:18
SPEAKER_02: Like, obviously, I've seen people play it, and I've played it a bit myself, but there's just so many cool, like orchestrated moments that go with what's going on in the game with the lighting.
1:01:26
SPEAKER_02: The lighting is like kind of next level lighting, it's pretty friggin' awesome.
1:01:29
SPEAKER_00: It really is.
1:01:29
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're great.
1:01:30
SPEAKER_00: They're they did a killer job.
1:01:32
SPEAKER_00: Well, awesome.
1:01:34
SPEAKER_00: Thank you, dude.
1:01:35
SPEAKER_00: Dude, thanks for having me on.
1:01:36
SPEAKER_02: Oh, thank you, Jeff.
1:01:37
SPEAKER_02: You're the best, dude.
1:01:38
SPEAKER_02: You're the absolute best.
1:01:39
SPEAKER_02: No, uh, follow Dirty Pool Pinball on Twitch, uh, on all the socials.
1:01:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, and then hit them up for a t-shirt.
1:01:47
SPEAKER_02: Uh they they sell my t-shirt.
1:01:50
SPEAKER_02: I gotta pay.
1:01:51
SPEAKER_00: I gotta pay to get to the bat.
1:01:52
SPEAKER_00: Like, how am I gonna hit now?
1:01:56
SPEAKER_02: God bless you, dude.
1:01:57
SPEAKER_02: Thank you, brother.
1:01:58
SPEAKER_02: Appreciate it.
1:01:59
SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Jeff.
1:01:59
SPEAKER_00: Bye, Kale.
1:02:00
SPEAKER_00: I'm coming for you.
1:02:01
SPEAKER_02: All right, let's do it.
1:02:03
SPEAKER_00: Get that guest room ready.
1:02:06
SPEAKER_02: Thank you, brother.
1:02:07
SPEAKER_02: That was fun.
1:02:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was fun.
1:02:08
SPEAKER_02: Um how are we doing on uh we're an hour in?
1:02:12
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:02:12
SPEAKER_02: What do you what do you think, Kale?
1:02:14
SPEAKER_02: We're done or we keep going?
1:02:15
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:02:16
SPEAKER_02: We haven't chat much.
1:02:18
SPEAKER_02: We've been ignoring the shit out of the chat.
1:02:20
SPEAKER_03: Um can you guys take it from the top?
1:02:23
SPEAKER_03: Let this surge.
1:02:24
SPEAKER_03: Ladies and gentlemen, surge and gentlemen, surge in the house.
1:02:28
SPEAKER_03: He's the best.
1:02:30
SPEAKER_02: I did have someone actually, when we were in the Beetlejuice tent, Kale, there was a guy that came out to me, and his name is escaping me, but he said he's personal friends with you and Rachel.
1:02:39
SPEAKER_02: And he wants he wants us to go to his house to play the P3.
1:02:45
SPEAKER_02: And he's like, Do you think Serge would come along too?
1:02:48
SPEAKER_02: Uh I don't know.
1:02:49
SPEAKER_02: I he said he's gonna reach out to you guys.
1:02:51
SPEAKER_02: So um, so I I first I didn't catch his name because I was in the middle of a bunch of stuff, but uh he was a nice dude, but he said he he knows you guys personally.
1:02:59
SPEAKER_03: So it does he live in Phoenix?
1:03:01
SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes.
1:03:02
SPEAKER_02: Okay, did you catch some of that?
1:03:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I caught it, but I zoned out.
1:03:06
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay, cool.
1:03:07
SPEAKER_02: It wasn't about me, so I didn't wasn't paying attention.
1:03:11
SPEAKER_03: Was it Doug?
1:03:13
SPEAKER_02: I think it was he works in technology.
1:03:15
SPEAKER_02: Does Doug work in technology?
1:03:17
SPEAKER_02: Do you know?
1:03:18
SPEAKER_03: Everybody out here works in technology that name does sound familiar.
1:03:21
SPEAKER_02: Maybe it was Doug.
1:03:22
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
1:03:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was bad of me.
1:03:24
SPEAKER_02: I it was when we first got back from taking naps, and uh I wasn't fully awake yet, so I I caught some of it.
1:03:33
SPEAKER_02: That is the one thing about the show, man.
1:03:35
SPEAKER_02: I loved it.
1:03:35
SPEAKER_02: Like, you gotta admit, we've been stopped a lot, and I love that.
1:03:39
SPEAKER_02: Like, I love when people come up and want to say things about the content, and that's just cool because usually the comments are things like, Man, I really appreciate it.
1:03:47
SPEAKER_02: They they're everyone is so appreciative.
1:03:48
SPEAKER_02: They're like, I really I know it's a lot of hard work, but we I really appreciate listening to it.
1:03:52
SPEAKER_02: You know, thank you for doing it.
1:03:54
SPEAKER_02: And I love that, but um, it it just after a while, like it it does get like tiring on you because you're talking so much.
1:04:01
SPEAKER_02: And I have we're I was telling Jamie, I have a bit of like a a ceiling of my socialization because I am I'm I am very an extroverted person, but there's a point of like I start tipping over and I gotta go.
1:04:13
SPEAKER_02: Like it just stops.
1:04:14
SPEAKER_02: I can't do it anymore.
1:04:16
SPEAKER_02: But I do very much appreciate all the comments and people coming up.
1:04:20
SPEAKER_02: Lovely, man.
1:04:20
SPEAKER_02: Kale, they've been lovely.
1:04:22
SPEAKER_02: It's been cool as hell.
1:04:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
1:04:24
SPEAKER_03: They've been they've been really Ricardo.
1:04:28
SPEAKER_03: That's the dude that broke my hand.
1:04:30
SPEAKER_03: Are you kidding me?
1:04:32
SPEAKER_03: It is he gets excited.
1:04:34
SPEAKER_03: He got excited.
1:04:35
SPEAKER_03: That's Ricardo.
1:04:37
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:04:37
SPEAKER_03: He's a good dude.
1:04:38
SPEAKER_03: Did did he bring his homebrew?
1:04:40
SPEAKER_03: He did.
1:04:41
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:04:42
SPEAKER_02: No, he did.
1:04:43
SPEAKER_02: He's home.
1:04:44
SPEAKER_03: He's coming to America.
1:04:46
SPEAKER_02: Bringing it to Expo.
1:04:47
SPEAKER_02: He's bringing it to Expo.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_02: He did not bring it here.
1:04:50
SPEAKER_02: Because he's doing some updates and stuff.
1:04:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:04:52
SPEAKER_03: Ralph, what's up with the dragon?
1:04:54
SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm here.
1:04:54
SPEAKER_03: The chat wants to know about the dragon.
1:04:57
SPEAKER_02: You know, I don't understand why the dragon actually.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_02: It looks very ninja eclipse-ish.
1:05:02
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
1:05:03
SPEAKER_02: Have you heard?
1:05:04
SPEAKER_02: I have not heard if there's a backstory on the dragon at all.
1:05:06
SPEAKER_02: It doesn't make any sense why there's a dragon here, but there's a giant, there's a big dragon.
1:05:13
SPEAKER_02: Dragon's freaking ridiculously cool, though.
1:05:15
SPEAKER_02: It's giant.
1:05:15
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
1:05:16
SPEAKER_03: You know what I have to say?
1:05:18
SPEAKER_03: What?
1:05:19
SPEAKER_03: Why not?
1:05:20
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, why not?
1:05:20
SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
1:05:21
SPEAKER_03: Dragons, dragons are fucking cool.
1:05:23
SPEAKER_02: Do you know what it made me think of the moment I looked at it though?
1:05:26
SPEAKER_02: I was like, we need a hey.
1:05:28
SPEAKER_03: What's up, Matthew?
1:05:30
SPEAKER_02: We need we need a Mortal Kombat pinball machine.
1:05:34
SPEAKER_02: I would play the shit out of a Mortal Kombat pinball machine.
1:05:37
SPEAKER_02: I'd I'd that'd be awesome.
1:05:38
SPEAKER_02: But who have we missed?
1:05:40
SPEAKER_02: Jersey Jack.
1:05:41
SPEAKER_02: We haven't talked about Jersey Jack.
1:05:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, so Jersey Jack's obviously here with uh they got some avatars, they got um I don't know if I saw a bunch of Harry Potters.
1:05:52
SPEAKER_02: They actually, I was surprised they have some Harry Potter um collector's editions.
1:05:56
SPEAKER_02: I was surprised that they brought the nice want models here, but there's a bunch of the nicer ones.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_02: Ones here.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_02: Uh, they got some wizards.
1:06:02
SPEAKER_02: I didn't see an arcade on the floor, but there might be one.
1:06:04
SPEAKER_02: We cornered Jack about you.
1:06:06
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
1:06:08
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:06:09
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:06:09
SPEAKER_02: I asked Jack, I was like, hey, are you still serious about that offer to get get Kale and Rachel a Harry Potter?
1:06:14
SPEAKER_02: He's like, Yeah, I'm really serious about it.
1:06:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, I want, dude, Cale, would you do it?
1:06:19
SPEAKER_02: I really want to see how it will do there.
1:06:20
SPEAKER_02: I'm so curious.
1:06:21
SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
1:06:22
SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'll I'll talk to him again.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_02: Because I I think I don't know what the like he didn't contact you.
1:06:28
SPEAKER_03: Not that I know of.
1:06:29
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_02: All right.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_02: I'll I'll I'll I'll like call him after this.
1:06:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, work it out next week.
1:06:34
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because I want you guys to I I'm just so curious.
1:06:36
SPEAKER_02: Number one, will it be reliable at your location?
1:06:38
SPEAKER_02: And number two, how will it be received?
1:06:40
SPEAKER_02: And I like his offer that he's saying, you guys can just keep whatever it makes, which is cool.
1:06:44
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, we'll we'll figure it out.
1:06:46
SPEAKER_02: If not, then I'll put mine there.
1:06:48
SPEAKER_03: Has there been a panel yet?
1:06:51
SPEAKER_03: A Jersey Jack panel.
1:06:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:06:53
SPEAKER_02: So we went to the Jersey Jack panel with it.
1:06:55
SPEAKER_03: So Jack didn't say save your money for science.
1:06:59
SPEAKER_02: No, this is what's so damn funny.
1:07:01
SPEAKER_02: We went to uh dude, sorta.
1:07:03
SPEAKER_02: We went to uh eat this pork chop at Perry's famous pork chop.
1:07:08
SPEAKER_02: Dude, pork chop freaking out of control.
1:07:11
SPEAKER_02: I'm starving.
1:07:12
SPEAKER_02: Damn pork chop is like the it's the lunch, it's the lunch freaking pork.
1:07:17
SPEAKER_02: $25 pork shop.
1:07:24
SPEAKER_02: I know you're worried, Kale.
1:07:25
SPEAKER_02: But uh we walk out and in walks Steve Ritchie and Jack, and he stops us, and of course, because Ralph knows them very well.
1:07:36
SPEAKER_02: We're boys now, and you're boys, and I said, Hey, Jack, do me one favor.
1:07:42
SPEAKER_02: At the seminar tomorrow, you have to say, Don't spend another dime.
1:07:49
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
1:07:49
SPEAKER_03: No, and that's a he should do that.
1:07:52
SPEAKER_03: Should be his thing now.
1:07:55
SPEAKER_02: Don't spend another dime.
1:07:57
SPEAKER_03: Because it doesn't matter.
1:07:59
SPEAKER_03: We all know it's Sonic, we all know it's Steve Richie.
1:08:03
SPEAKER_03: That this this should be his thing, you know.
1:08:06
SPEAKER_02: Kale, you'll laugh at this.
1:08:07
SPEAKER_02: I was gonna do this, but someone else did it.
1:08:09
SPEAKER_02: So there's a guy here, there's actually a couple of vendors here selling like retro gaming type stuff, and there's a guy that has like a bunch of plush Sonics, and I was like, hey, Kale, or Kale, hey Jamie, it'd be cool if I just sat in the front row with the Sonic like right in my lap and someone else did it.
1:08:25
SPEAKER_02: Like someone else had like put the little Sonic thing right there.
1:08:28
SPEAKER_02: I don't know right in the front.
1:08:29
SPEAKER_02: We didn't stay for the whole session, so I don't know if they even like mentioned it or who's streaming those, Kale?
1:08:34
SPEAKER_02: Is it Pinball News?
1:08:36
SPEAKER_02: Streaming what?
1:08:38
SPEAKER_02: Oh, uh Seminars.
1:08:40
SPEAKER_02: It's got a pinball news.
1:08:42
SPEAKER_02: It's pretty good.
1:08:43
SPEAKER_03: I haven't watched it.
1:08:43
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I've only read about it.
1:08:45
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:08:46
SPEAKER_02: So pinball news, check them out.
1:08:48
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:08:49
SPEAKER_02: But they did like they were just doing like a deep dive on it's basically basically if you watched my featurette, it was basically that.
1:08:55
SPEAKER_02: Like they were talking about how they developed the stair mechanism and how many uh it's 13 different ball paths and all that stuff.
1:09:01
SPEAKER_02: Like they were it was cool for someone that that like doesn't know all the background story, it was it was basically that.
1:09:07
SPEAKER_02: It was it was the development of Harry Potter.
1:09:09
SPEAKER_02: We left after like 10 minutes, I think.
1:09:11
SPEAKER_02: We weren't there for that long.
1:09:12

SPEAKER_02: Mystery Mystery and yeah, mystery, that's right.
1:10:31
SPEAKER_02: So he he like moderated laughing at you.
1:10:35
SPEAKER_02: He was laughing at me.
1:10:37
SPEAKER_02: Kale always laughs at me.
1:10:38
SPEAKER_03: That's that's too much to say, yeah.
1:10:40
SPEAKER_02: Did you did you see it, Kale?
1:10:42
SPEAKER_02: Like him and I played head to head on uh what was it?
1:10:45
SPEAKER_02: I forgot the games.
1:10:46
SPEAKER_02: We played head to head on uh Big Trouble in Little China and he kicked my ass.
1:10:50
SPEAKER_02: Oh okay.
1:10:51
SPEAKER_02: He'd been kind of kicking my ass a lot.
1:10:54
SPEAKER_02: So the first two games we played trash to me.
1:10:57
SPEAKER_02: I mean, annihilating me.
1:10:58
SPEAKER_02: It was crazy, dude.
1:11:00
SPEAKER_02: I was I was all over the place.
1:11:01

1:11:05
SPEAKER_02: Say hello to Kale.
1:11:06
SPEAKER_02: Say about it.
1:11:07
SPEAKER_02: Hi, Kyle.
1:11:08
SPEAKER_02: What's up, brother?
1:11:09
SPEAKER_02: Thanks, Jordan.
1:11:11
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:11:12
SPEAKER_02: Well, I like all these nice people saying about it.
1:11:14
SPEAKER_02: We keep having like all these guests.
1:11:16
SPEAKER_02: It's kind of cool.
1:11:17
SPEAKER_02: It is kind of cool.
1:11:18
SPEAKER_03: So in the chat, they're saying American announced they're remaking Circus Voltaire.
1:11:25
SPEAKER_03: That's actually not true.
1:11:27
SPEAKER_03: Ralph announced that.
1:11:31
SPEAKER_02: Via some information maybe some unknown source.
1:11:37
SPEAKER_02: So, no, in all seriousness, if we're gonna talk about that, Brian Vincent came up to us and said, You're the guy.
1:11:43
SPEAKER_02: The first thing he said you're the guys that leaked Circus Voltaire.
1:11:47
SPEAKER_02: That's what he said.
1:11:48
SPEAKER_02: And and but he didn't seem pissed about it, though.
1:11:50
SPEAKER_02: He wasn't pissed.
1:11:51
SPEAKER_02: He was kind of like almost joking around.
1:11:53
SPEAKER_02: We just threw you under the bus since you're not here.
1:11:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, tell Emoto to get sit down.
1:11:57
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, there sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down.
1:12:00
SPEAKER_02: Get on there, Moda.
1:12:02
SPEAKER_02: Get on, please.
1:12:02
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I have pinbomb too with me somewhere.
1:12:05
SPEAKER_02: Does pinbomb here?
1:12:08
SPEAKER_05: Uh no, but they made us awesome whitewood Marco.
1:12:12
SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's badass.
1:12:14
SPEAKER_05: I have some for y'all.
1:12:14
SPEAKER_05: Not that one.
1:12:15
SPEAKER_02: All right, let's add a reboy.
1:12:16
SPEAKER_03: That one.
1:12:18
SPEAKER_05: Boy.
1:12:18
SPEAKER_03: Hey, what's happening?
1:12:20
SPEAKER_03: Hey, good to see you guys.
1:12:22
SPEAKER_05: Oh, good to see you too.
1:12:23
SPEAKER_05: Welcome to TPF.
1:12:25
SPEAKER_02: Well, first of all, thank you very, very much for setting this up and letting us use this booth.
1:12:30
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we wouldn't have been able to do this without you, so thank you.
1:12:33
SPEAKER_05: We're glad to have you in our homebrew village.
1:12:36
SPEAKER_02: Isn't this cool?
1:12:37
SPEAKER_02: So thank you.
1:12:38
SPEAKER_02: Thank you for hanging out with us.
1:12:39
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I've enjoyed you're so busy.
1:12:42
SPEAKER_02: She's so busy at these shows.
1:12:46
SPEAKER_02: You seem like you still have energy left.
1:12:47
SPEAKER_02: I don't know how you do this.
1:12:48
SPEAKER_05: Kel looks so sad.
1:12:50
SPEAKER_05: I miss you.
1:12:51
SPEAKER_05: You and Rachel should be here.
1:12:53
SPEAKER_03: I know, I know.
1:12:54
SPEAKER_03: We'll see, we'll see you at Expo.
1:12:56
SPEAKER_03: I know.
1:12:57
SPEAKER_03: Bunch of love 'em.
1:12:58
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I do.
1:12:59
SPEAKER_05: Sorry.
1:12:59
SPEAKER_05: I didn't wasn't even listening to what you guys were saying.
1:13:01
SPEAKER_05: I was just like, man, we used to do shows together.
1:13:04
SPEAKER_05: Like Kel and Rachel trained me to do all of this, you know?
1:13:07
SPEAKER_03: And well, I take I'm the reason that she's doing this right now because he got me hired at Marco.
1:13:16
SPEAKER_03: Right well, well, actually, I kidnapped you.
1:13:19
SPEAKER_03: We we for real.
1:13:22
SPEAKER_03: We we were we were doing a show in Nashville, and I asked Emoto to come out and just hang out.
1:13:29
SPEAKER_03: And and then from there, I was uh they were actually shooting a documentary at the Marco office, and I said, this would be perfect.
1:13:37
SPEAKER_03: Emoto would be I talked to Paul.
1:13:38
SPEAKER_03: I was like, Emoto would be perfect for this, she has to come out, and and I I convinced him to you know pay her a little bit of money, and she came, she just came.
1:13:47
SPEAKER_03: It wasn't planned, and then from there, she got hired, and she's been doing it ever since.
1:13:53
SPEAKER_02: That's a cool story.
1:13:54
SPEAKER_02: We did not know that.
1:13:56
SPEAKER_02: I know I Marco told me something last night about Kale that they broke their uh I guess she they broke their rule for Kale.
1:14:06
SPEAKER_02: If somebody leaves, they can't come back, but not for that guy right there, ladies and gentlemen.
1:14:11
SPEAKER_03: They asked me to come back, yeah.
1:14:15
SPEAKER_03: Hey, I'll do it again.
1:14:19
SPEAKER_02: It's awesome.
1:14:20
SPEAKER_02: So, what's the show like been for you?
1:14:22
SPEAKER_02: How's the homebrew section?
1:14:24
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's the biggest it's ever been here, right?
1:14:26
SPEAKER_05: Yep.
1:14:26
SPEAKER_05: So last year we had six homebrew games, and this year there's 14.
1:14:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:14:32
SPEAKER_05: Pretty awesome, right?
1:14:33
SPEAKER_02: If you build it, they will come, right?
1:14:35
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's so growing exponentially.
1:14:38
SPEAKER_05: We were able to get our a different space.
1:14:40
SPEAKER_05: We've always been kind of in the middle for forever.
1:14:44
SPEAKER_05: And now we're in this kind of corner space.
1:14:47
SPEAKER_05: We created our little homebrew village, tent city, and you know, tried to feature each homebrew game as much as possible.
1:14:55
SPEAKER_05: And it's just been really cool.
1:14:57
SPEAKER_05: We have uh we're hosting the tech medic area.
1:15:00
SPEAKER_05: We did tech day on Wednesday, so it was like come bring your game early, learn how to work on it with professional technicians kind of shadowing you and telling you what to do.
1:15:10
SPEAKER_02: So I I heard like good things about that.
1:15:12
SPEAKER_05: I heard everyone's pretty we have like Nick Shell, who's like this EM master wizard, teaching these like young young adults, these guys, like how to read schematics and like making them do it and being like, okay, so if you're going here and then you need to clip on a here, what wire is that?
1:15:33
SPEAKER_05: And like making them think.
1:15:34
SPEAKER_02: So Moto, I'm fascinated by all this.
1:15:37
SPEAKER_02: But our friend Jamie, when you start talking technology, no, I'm sorry, he leaves.
1:15:42
SPEAKER_02: I saw it, but I saw it in time.
1:15:46
SPEAKER_02: You were leaving.
1:15:47
SPEAKER_02: You were so leaving.
1:15:48
SPEAKER_05: Let's get your vacation.
1:15:50
SPEAKER_05: But yeah, okay, long story short, we're hosting the tech area, medic area, so they're helping fix all the games on the floor.
1:15:57
SPEAKER_05: Um, working with a lot of great techs like Todd Tucky from TNT Amusements and his crew, um, Eugene Mosh, Legendary, all these guys are freaking awesome.
1:16:08
SPEAKER_05: And then all the games, Fast Pinball and Trident Pinball, are here.
1:16:13
SPEAKER_05: So the support that they give to making these games actually happen, it's freaking awesome.
1:16:19
SPEAKER_05: Um, I heard Kill and Rachel were working on a homebrew game soon.
1:16:24
SPEAKER_05: Oh, okay.
1:16:24
SPEAKER_05: And that was gonna bring it to X Pimple here.
1:16:27
SPEAKER_04: Wait a minute, hold on.
1:16:28
SPEAKER_02: We don't know.
1:16:28
SPEAKER_02: We've been recommending we don't even know this.
1:16:31
SPEAKER_02: We have a show with you.
1:16:32
SPEAKER_02: What the?
1:16:34
SPEAKER_03: No, we're we're really not.
1:16:35
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
1:16:38
SPEAKER_02: How's he's keeping this from us?
1:16:41
SPEAKER_05: Drinking the seed water.
1:16:45
SPEAKER_02: Hey, how the hell would you guys even have the time to do that?
1:16:48
SPEAKER_02: Actually, I don't feel like you would.
1:16:50
SPEAKER_03: We would get other people to do it, yeah.
1:16:52
SPEAKER_02: Put your name on it.
1:16:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there you go.
1:16:54
SPEAKER_02: That's right.
1:16:55
SPEAKER_03: Hey.
1:16:56
SPEAKER_02: Delegate.
1:16:58
SPEAKER_02: Well, thank you for everything you do for this community and appreciate it.
1:17:02
SPEAKER_02: My mom's calling me, so we're not gonna talk to mom right now.
1:17:07
SPEAKER_02: Well, you just totally send your mom to the chamber.
1:17:10
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, lots of great seminars.
1:17:12
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:17:12
SPEAKER_05: It's always fun to see the Texas pinball community and people from all around the world come here to down here too.
1:17:19
SPEAKER_05: It's like here in Expo, you see the most like international or just like wide range of people coming to one spot to enjoy pinball together.
1:17:27
SPEAKER_05: So it's really right.
1:17:28
SPEAKER_02: As someone that does all the shows, is this where would you rank this show?
1:17:32
SPEAKER_05: I don't want to just at the top.
1:17:34
SPEAKER_02: Do you like this show better than Expo?
1:17:38
SPEAKER_05: Yes.
1:17:39
SPEAKER_05: Well, they're all different, you know what I mean?
1:17:42
SPEAKER_05: Like they're all different.
1:17:43
SPEAKER_05: Expo is cool because that's where all the manufacturers are.
1:17:46
SPEAKER_04: Right.
1:17:47
SPEAKER_05: A lot of people that can't travel this far can come to these shows.
1:17:50
SPEAKER_05: So you can see the engineers and yeah, the other designers on different levels, the people that are actually like hand building the games, coming out to the show and enjoying it, where you know, we're 800 miles away down here.
1:18:03
SPEAKER_05: But here it's like in a hotel, you know, we have carpet floor, it's more intimate.
1:18:09
SPEAKER_05: Um, yeah, you know, the show hours are a little bit different, the engagement is a little bit different.
1:18:15
SPEAKER_05: So they just all live in different levels of awesome, you know.
1:18:20
SPEAKER_02: And then of course we have to give a shout out to the Houston Arcadex though.
1:18:23
SPEAKER_05: That's like my decompression show, you know.
1:18:25
SPEAKER_05: We're not setting up booth anymore.
1:18:28
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna get Kale and Rachel too.
1:18:30
SPEAKER_05: I love that show.
1:18:31
SPEAKER_02: It's I love that show.
1:18:32
SPEAKER_02: I love hanging out with you and Tally at that show.
1:18:35
SPEAKER_02: Uh it's minuscule compared to this, but it's tiny.
1:18:40
SPEAKER_02: Okay, but it's super fun.
1:18:41
SPEAKER_02: Everyone, everyone said you gotta go to it.
1:18:43
SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, all right.
1:18:44
SPEAKER_02: It's the best.
1:18:46
SPEAKER_02: Thank you for stopping by.
1:18:47
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you're the best.
1:18:48
SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, I love her so much.
1:18:52
SPEAKER_02: So great.
1:18:53
SPEAKER_02: Thanks, Amoto.
1:18:54
SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Amoto.
1:18:55
SPEAKER_02: Appreciate you so much.
1:18:57
