- 0:00Speaker 1: Accidents don't wait for good timing. One bad moment, a wreck,
- 0:02Speaker 1: a fall, a doctor who wasn't paying attention. Suddenly, you're
- 0:05Speaker 1: fighting the insurance company that does this every single day,
- 0:07Speaker 1: and that's why he started Clay Travis Law. He's a
- 0:10Speaker 1: venerable law grad, built a firm around the idea that
- 0:13Speaker 1: people deserve someone willing to pay attention, ask the hard questions,
- 0:16Speaker 1: and push when things don't add up. Experienced trial attorneys
- 0:19Speaker 1: who bring the fight to corporations and insurers based in
- 0:21Speaker 1: Nashville and trusted across the country.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Car and truck wrecks, rideshare accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability,
- 0:27Speaker 2: product liability. If you were wrong, they want to hear
- 0:30Speaker 2: about it.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Here's what they promise. Honesty.
- 0:32Speaker 2: They don't sugarcoat your case. You'll hear what it's actually worth,
- 0:34Speaker 2: not what you want to hear. The case evaluation is free,
- 0:37Speaker 2: no charge, no pressure, no hassle. Just tell them your story.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Go to claytravislaw.com or call 877-222-4444. That's claytravislaw.com. No case
- 0:47Speaker 2: is too big or too small.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Derek Mason getting reprimanded for saying this.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Coming off a tough loss to Jack State and facing
- 1:03Speaker 4: a really good football team. I just got off the
- 1:07Speaker 4: phone with Trey. I just had some serious dialogue about
- 1:14Speaker 4: the referee calls in this damn ball game. I'm tired
- 1:18Speaker 4: of the bulls * * t. Excuse my French. I'm tired.
- 1:21Speaker 4: At the end of the day, we've got to get
- 1:23Speaker 4: to a point where these damn referees show up and
- 1:26Speaker 4: do their damn job. OK, man, there's over, you know,
- 1:29Speaker 4: 17 submitted, you know, man, holding calls. OK, man, against
- 1:33Speaker 4: a really good Jack State team, man, that were ready
- 1:36Speaker 4: and available. OK, and they were at the point of confrontation.
- 1:39Speaker 4: And I thought, man, this was straight up bull. OK,
- 1:43Speaker 4: like for us, man, man, I don't mind, you know, man,
- 1:45Speaker 4: a loss. And I'm not one to ever get in
- 1:47Speaker 4: front of the media and talk about like these types
- 1:50Speaker 4: of things. But at the end of the day, man,
- 1:52Speaker 4: these referees got to be better. They got to do
- 1:54Speaker 4: their damn job and be better. Okay, man? And that's
- 1:57Speaker 4: a message going out to everybody, okay, who reps these
- 2:00Speaker 4: damn games.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Chad, I was going to stand up and give a
- 2:04Speaker 1: standing ovation.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Just a standing ovation. But then I hear holding. Holding calls?
- 2:11Speaker 3: 17 holding? I can find holding on every single snap.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Why'd you stop at 17, coach? Do your damn job.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Submit more than 17 if you're going to go into holding.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Come on, man. I got to look at– by the way,
- 2:27Speaker 3: they lost 23 to 13. Stopped at 17. He didn't
- 2:29Speaker 3: go to 18. He stopped at 17.
- 2:31Speaker 2: They lost 23 to 13. And I'm trying to find
- 2:35Speaker 2: the penalty stats in the game for them versus– let's
- 2:41Speaker 2: see here. Penalties for MTSU, seven for 55.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Okay, that's not bad at all for any game. Not
- 2:52Speaker 3: a single one was deserved, though. Three for 30 for
- 2:56Speaker 3: Jacksonville State.
- 2:57Speaker 2: If you want to claim that all seven of our,
- 2:59Speaker 2: which they weren't because it's 55 yards, but we got
- 3:02Speaker 2: six holding penalties to their done, and we were doing
- 3:05Speaker 2: the same thing they were, which was holding on every play.
- 3:08Speaker 3: They didn't call them. This game is glorious. You've got
- 3:11Speaker 3: it right. This game is glorious.
- 3:13Speaker 2: If you think they're going to call 17 holding penalties
- 3:16Speaker 2: over the course of a game, then you're crazy. I've
- 3:18Speaker 2: got 17 instances where holding should have been called. No ref,
- 3:23Speaker 2: I can't recall a game where 17 holds were called
- 3:26Speaker 2: on one team if you think all those are going.
- 3:28Speaker 3: To get called.
- 3:29Speaker 2: This also is so out of character for Derek Mason
- 3:34Speaker 2: to act this way. Like, I don't ever recall seeing
- 3:36Speaker 2: him this angry in a press conference or doing this.
- 3:40Speaker 2: This is the work of a desperate man.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I hope. This is the work of a guy who's like,
- 3:46Speaker 3: you know what? It's not going well. I'm losing. I
- 3:49Speaker 3: better just start blaming the officials.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I can only hope, Chad. We had, what, 10 total
- 3:54Speaker 1: penalties in this entire game?
- 3:55Speaker 3: Is that what you said?
- 3:57Speaker 2: No. There were 10 total penalties for 85 total yards.
- 4:01Speaker 3: This is officiating, ladies and gentlemen. 10.
- 4:05Speaker 1: What I hear is, I have a coach who's inept
- 4:08Speaker 1: and doesn't know that he can get away with holding
- 4:09Speaker 1: in this game. He can get away with holding this game.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Tell your team to hold instead of trying to nitpick
- 4:16Speaker 1: 17 other penalties that you're going to send into the
- 4:18Speaker 1: league office. The Conference USA league office. Is there a
- 4:22Speaker 1: league office for Conference USA? I've never heard of it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: What are they going to do? What are they going
- 4:27Speaker 1: to do? No, I think this is a fan's dream.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Come to MTSU and play in games where the refs
- 4:35Speaker 1: don't take over the game. This is what I've been
- 4:38Speaker 1: longing for.
- 4:39Speaker 3: This is what should be preached from the mountaintop.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Instead, we're going to send in 17 examples, just not 18,
- 4:47Speaker 1: not 18, 17 examples of holding that should have been
- 4:50Speaker 1: called in this game. There's holding on every single play.
- 4:54Speaker 3: There is a flag. Trust me. Go to the NFL preseason.
- 4:57Speaker 3: There is a flag.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Go to week one across high school football. There is
- 5:00Speaker 1: a flag on every single play. When can we just
- 5:03Speaker 1: keep the flag in the pockets?
- 5:04Speaker 3: When?
- 5:05Speaker 1: The answer is Conference USA. Derek Mason, GTFO, if you're
- 5:08Speaker 1: going to complain about this.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I love it. 517 yards to 319 for Jacksonville State.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Jacksonville State had two turnovers. MTSU had zero.
- 5:19Speaker 3: In that game.
- 5:20Speaker 2: See?
- 5:20Speaker 3: A 23-13 game. Perfect game.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Yeah, a 23-13 game. I say all those stats. That
- 5:27Speaker 2: feels pretty legit to me. They outgained you by 200 yards.
- 5:30Speaker 2: They won the game by 10 points. They are one
- 5:32Speaker 2: of the better teams in Conference USA. You lost by 10,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and you want.
- 5:37Speaker 3: 17 holding calls.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I'm not going to crush a coach for being honest.
- 5:41Speaker 2: 17 holding calls. He specifically says holding. Not just procedural issues. Also,
- 5:50Speaker 2: it's really tough when you're going to get– the subjective
- 5:53Speaker 2: part of it, which holding is always going to be
- 5:55Speaker 2: a subjective call. It's not a procedural issue. It's not, Hey,
- 5:58Speaker 2: they lined up illegally every time. And I kept telling
- 6:01Speaker 2: the ref to look at it and they wouldn't throw
- 6:03Speaker 2: the flag. So I went to the conference office and said,
- 6:05Speaker 2: this is an illegal formation. And they did it on 70%
- 6:08Speaker 2: of their snaps. That is where you go off and say,
- 6:11Speaker 2: I'm looking for the refs to do their bleeping job
- 6:13Speaker 2: at some point and stop doing this. But going after
- 6:17Speaker 2: the fact that, And also, did you complain in the
- 6:20Speaker 2: moment about all.
- 6:21Speaker 3: 17 holding calls?
- 6:22Speaker 2: And you saw all of them perfectly? Or did you
- 6:24Speaker 2: go back and watch y'all?
- 6:26Speaker 3: Guys, there it is.
- 6:27Speaker 2: It's the meme of Leo and Once Upon a Time
- 6:29Speaker 2: in Hollywood looking at himself on the TV.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Holding. Holding on that one with a beer in their hand.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I mean, come on, man. There's a hold. There's a hold.
- 6:36Speaker 3: There's a hold. Every single.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Hold. Here's what I'll say about Derrick Mason, too. Excellent
- 6:42Speaker 2: bowling partner when he was on our bowling team for
- 6:44Speaker 2: one year. Way better than Lee Greenwood. Way better than
- 6:47Speaker 2: Lee Greenwood and Chris Kirkpatrick from NSYNC who refused to
- 6:50Speaker 2: bowl with the people and had their own private bowling
- 6:52Speaker 2: lane off in another private room.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Derek Mason bowled with the people.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Chris Kirkpatrick, who has made amends by coming on this
- 7:00Speaker 1: show in previous years and has told us he had
- 7:05Speaker 1: nothing to do with that because it was Lee Greenwood
- 7:07Speaker 1: with his fake broke arm. that he had to go
- 7:10Speaker 1: bowl behind a curtain instead of bowl with the commoners,
- 7:13Speaker 1: bowl with the peasants, bowl.
- 7:14Speaker 3: With us in steerage. He couldn't do that. And, you know, yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Lee Greenwood can bowl by himself next time.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:26Speaker 2: We were bowling with Jack Dawson in steerage the whole time.
- 7:29Speaker 2: on the bottom of the ship. And Derek Mason was
- 7:30Speaker 2: right there with us in the trenches.
- 7:31Speaker 3: And we won. And he did his part.
- 7:33Speaker 2: We won the Celebrity Bowl off, and Derek Mason did
- 7:36Speaker 2: his part on that team.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Despite Paul bowling a 70-something, we won. Great job.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Now, he did call the bowling office afterward and said,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I had a foot fault at least 17 times.
- 7:46Speaker 3: At least 17 times.
- 7:47Speaker 2: And he was tired of that marker not going off
- 7:50Speaker 2: and the horn. And he said, we need people around
- 7:52Speaker 2: here to do their damn jobs, and I'm tired of it.
- 7:55Speaker 2: But other than that, great teammate. Great, great job.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And Derek Mason's going to have a hard time being
- 8:02Speaker 3: the coach next year, right, is what I'm guessing?
- 8:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:05Speaker 3: He's at MTSU. He's got this job for life if
- 8:08Speaker 3: he wants, Chad. That's true. It's like a Supreme Court
- 8:11Speaker 3: appointment is what you're saying? I have no idea. The
- 8:13Speaker 3: previous coach, Rick Stock still was there.
- 8:16Speaker 1: His grandson could be the head coach in waiting for
- 8:18Speaker 1: all I know.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Is Brent still coaching?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe Brent's still coaching. I think Stock's down
- 8:25Speaker 1: at Florida State right now.
- 8:29Speaker 3: That's a tough one. I don't know. He's probably the
- 8:31Speaker 3: coach waiting to get in here. Yeah, it's a tough one. Hey,
- 8:34Speaker 3: stay tuned. More coming.
- 8:34Speaker 1: This is Hunter Withrow presented by Hard Rock Bet. Rocket
- 8:38Speaker 1: Coffee started by Clay Travis. Buck Sexton and Buck's brother Mason,
- 8:42Speaker 1: named after Davy Crockett, hunter, storyteller, patriot, backwoods legend, all
- 8:46Speaker 1: about the attitude here. 100% pure Arabica, high-altitude beans, small
- 8:49Speaker 1: batch roasted right here in America, Tennessee, heart of the country.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It chips fresh roast. It's not sitting on a warehouse
- 8:54Speaker 1: shelf for six months. It's light, medium, dark, decaf, organic,
- 8:57Speaker 1: even a mushroom blend.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Available for you. Whole bean, ground, or K-cups, however you
- 9:01Speaker 3: make it in the morning.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Set up a subscription, shows up on your schedule, change
- 9:05Speaker 2: it or cancel it anytime you want as the free
- 9:06Speaker 2: market intended. Free shipping on orders of $ 59 or more,
- 9:09Speaker 2: and there's a discount for veterans. And Crockett partners with
- 9:12Speaker 2: Tunnel to Towers, building mortgage-free homes for the families of
- 9:15Speaker 2: fallen service members and for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Good coffee, made in America, doing some good. CrockettCoffee.com. That's Crockett, C-R-O-C-K-E-T-T-Coffee.com.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You got the light blend, which is the Sun Creek, Chad.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Sun Creek. Medium roast is Blue Ridge.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I've got some Blue Ridge right here in this month
- 9:41Speaker 1: right now. I want to try the Dark Roast. I
- 9:44Speaker 1: want to try the King Mountain. I haven't had my
- 9:46Speaker 1: shipment delivered yet. King Mountain is what I need. There's
- 9:50Speaker 1: also Wild Frontier and Elk River. Elk River is the
- 9:53Speaker 1: decaf for those that don't like caffeine.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Both King Mountain and Elk River are great names for
- 9:59Speaker 2: Taylor Sheridan.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Shows at some point.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Like I feel like Taylor Sheridan is probably already working
- 10:04Speaker 2: on a script for Elk River. That's going to be
- 10:07Speaker 2: a great tale of a family that lives on Elk
- 10:09Speaker 2: River and their trials and tribulations.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I can't wait to watch it.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Davy Crockett is bathed in Elk River. Once bathed in
- 10:19Speaker 3: Elk River.
- 10:21Speaker 2: JT just told us during the break, by the way,
- 10:22Speaker 2: that he looked at a mock draft right now. They
- 10:25Speaker 2: have the Titans drafting third and drafting third in their
- 10:28Speaker 2: pick right now on whatever mock draft he's looking at.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Jordan Seton, the offensive tackle from Colorado.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Congrats. Congrats, Jordan Seton. Welcome to your life of hell. Yes.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You're next up on the Wheel of Death. Here with
- 10:44Speaker 3: the Tennessee Titans. You get to block for a quarterback
- 10:46Speaker 3: who can't throw a pass.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You get to block for a quarterback who cannot throw
- 10:51Speaker 1: a competent pass that you would have seen in middle
- 10:55Speaker 1: school or high school.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Congratulations, Jordan Seaton. Welcome home.
- 11:01Speaker 2: We got someone in the YouTube chat saying Taylor Sheridan
- 11:04Speaker 2: is still around. I'm almost finished with this latest season
- 11:07Speaker 2: of Lioness. And yes, Taylor Sheridan is still around. That
- 11:10Speaker 2: show is incredible. Season three.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Why is he the only competent person to make television
- 11:14Speaker 3: right now?
- 11:16Speaker 2: Guy Ritchie, who I highlighted, is doing a good job
- 11:18Speaker 2: with The Gentleman and some of the other shows that
- 11:20Speaker 2: he's doing.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Mobland is good on Paramount. But this guy's got like
- 11:24Speaker 3: four or five things going at once. Here's what I
- 11:27Speaker 3: don't understand is... How is he the only guy who
- 11:31Speaker 3: just does it by himself?
- 11:33Speaker 2: I know he has other directors direct the episodes, but
- 11:36Speaker 2: there's not many people who just sit in a room
- 11:39Speaker 2: and write a show on their own.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Every treatment, every script, I know.
- 11:45Speaker 2: He's probably got a team that maybe works with him
- 11:47Speaker 2: a little bit, even if they're not credited, to refine
- 11:50Speaker 2: some stuff.
- 11:51Speaker 3: You'll work for me and not be credited. Right. That's
- 11:54Speaker 3: what the money's for, as Don Draper said. They ask
- 11:57Speaker 3: for credit.
- 11:58Speaker 2: They're like, no, that's why I pay you is for
- 11:59Speaker 2: you to be quiet and make me look brilliant.
- 12:02Speaker 3: The entire time as we write this show. Don't stay silent.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Lantern's a show that I mentioned earlier. They've got Chris Mundy,
- 12:08Speaker 2: who was the showrunner for Ozark. on it they've got
- 12:11Speaker 2: damon lindelof who who created lost way back in the
- 12:15Speaker 2: day and other shows they've got like three big-time showrunner
- 12:18Speaker 2: creator writers all working on this one show and meanwhile
- 12:22Speaker 2: taylor sheridan could just knock out seven shows a year
- 12:25Speaker 2: by himself that that's the part of taylor sheridan i
- 12:28Speaker 2: don't understand that's a gift how he does it yeah
- 12:31Speaker 2: it's a gift.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Now that you said he's clearly paying people to keep
- 12:35Speaker 1: their mouth shut right and just be him.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Oh, no doubt.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It's like the comedians who always have other comedians that
- 12:42Speaker 2: work on their stuff, and you pay them something, but
- 12:45Speaker 2: you never talk about. Yeah, and you never talk about
- 12:48Speaker 2: who you helped.
- 12:49Speaker 3: It's called AI.
- 12:50Speaker 2: It's just kind of an understanding. There's probably an NDA
- 12:52Speaker 2: involved with some, too. But other comedians will write jokes.
- 12:55Speaker 2: They come up with jokes for other friends that are
- 12:58Speaker 2: comedians that work better for them, and then they never
- 13:01Speaker 2: get credit, but they probably get paid in some way.
- 13:03Speaker 2: That's definitely happening with television shows.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Jed.
- 13:07Speaker 3: You know who else gets to get paid and keep
- 13:09Speaker 3: their mouth shut? Lincoln Riley. Lincoln Riley. Roughly a $ 70
- 13:14Speaker 3: million buyout. Am I reading this right?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Roughly a $ 70 million buyout. And our question today is,
- 13:21Speaker 1: is he cooked? The answer is yes and no. Is
- 13:24Speaker 1: he going to be the head coach much longer?
- 13:26Speaker 2: No.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Is he going to be cooked? No, he's not. He's
- 13:30Speaker 3: going to be laughing at all of us all the
- 13:32Speaker 3: way to the bank. For failing. Paid to fail.
- 13:35Speaker 1: This will be the next prime example of the best
- 13:38Speaker 1: job in America.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Head football coach for a college. Because you are paid
- 13:43Speaker 3: to fail. You leave.
- 13:46Speaker 1: You probably owe somebody $ 5 million to leave and go
- 13:48Speaker 1: somewhere else. $ 70 million, according to CBS Sports. Lincoln Riley's
- 13:52Speaker 1: UFC future in doubt after Oregon lost despite roughly $ 70
- 13:57Speaker 1: million buyout.
- 13:59Speaker 3: That is insane.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It's also, when was the last time the giant lateral
- 14:06Speaker 2: move worked out? By the way, not just the loss
- 14:10Speaker 2: on Saturday, but Desmond Stevens acting a fool after knocking
- 14:14Speaker 2: Dante Moore out on the field and celebrating and, you know,
- 14:18Speaker 2: making gestures to the crowd and all that. He had
- 14:20Speaker 2: to come out and apologize. I know he was asked, like,
- 14:24Speaker 2: why was he even on the sideline? He's like, because
- 14:26Speaker 2: he's on our team. After he was ejected for.
- 14:28Speaker 3: That hit and doing it. And he just.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Lincoln Riley comes across as such an arrogant prick all
- 14:35Speaker 2: the time about things, too, even when his team's not
- 14:37Speaker 2: doing what they should be doing.
- 14:39Speaker 3: So that doesn't help him at all.
- 14:41Speaker 2: When was the last time the lateral move for big
- 14:44Speaker 2: money and the big splash hire that, oh, my gosh,
- 14:47Speaker 2: that guy left this for that, truly worked out? Because
- 14:50Speaker 2: the most high-profile ones I can think of, Jimbo Fisher,
- 14:54Speaker 2: after winning a national title at Florida State, You know,
- 14:57Speaker 2: leaving for Texas A & M obviously did not work
- 15:00Speaker 2: out for them. Lincoln Riley leaving Oklahoma to go to
- 15:05Speaker 2: USC is another one.
- 15:06Speaker 1: It would be the ones where you're unconventional lateral moves.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So like John Gruden, lateral move in the NFL to
- 15:16Speaker 1: go win a Super Bowl. Urban Meyer did it whenever
- 15:18Speaker 1: he faked a heart condition.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but he got out for a year and then reemerged.
- 15:23Speaker 3: But like lateral move, he faked it to make a
- 15:26Speaker 3: lateral move. Yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Fire away on the YouTube chat if you can give
- 15:30Speaker 2: me an example. Like, Kalen DeBoer from Washington to Alabama
- 15:33Speaker 2: is not.
- 15:34Speaker 3: A lateral move.
- 15:34Speaker 2: That's a step up in program, and they paid him
- 15:37Speaker 2: a lot of money. And I think that's working out well, honestly,
- 15:40Speaker 2: right now. It's working out fine for them, but it's
- 15:43Speaker 2: just hard to find. John Sumrall was the natural step up, right?
- 15:48Speaker 2: You go hire Tulane's coach. That's done really well if
- 15:51Speaker 2: you're Florida.
- 15:53Speaker 3: We haven't seen Kiffin do it.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Kiffin is fine, but he lost the game at Ole Miss.
- 16:00Speaker 2: That's the one that we don't know yet. That's the
- 16:02Speaker 2: next big example of let's go pay someone gobs of
- 16:06Speaker 2: money to leave where they are. I would say it's
- 16:10Speaker 2: not quite lateral, but closer within conference because Ole Miss
- 16:14Speaker 2: and what they were built up to be.
- 16:16Speaker 3: That would be the example. Is that going to work out?
- 16:18Speaker 2: I guess I say all this to say these large
- 16:22Speaker 2: buyouts and just using– this is what coaches want.
- 16:26Speaker 3: They want to convince everyone. Jeff Braum at Louisville has.
- 16:30Speaker 2: A team that wants to convince everyone he's going to
- 16:32Speaker 2: be Michigan's next coach or he's going to be Penn
- 16:34Speaker 2: State's next coach or he's going to go here so
- 16:37Speaker 2: he can get the money he wants from Louisville even
- 16:39Speaker 2: when Louisville's not ready to give him an extension and
- 16:41Speaker 2: pay him. And now Jeff Braum, who gets a big win,
- 16:44Speaker 2: loses at home to Wake Forest. The next week where
- 16:47Speaker 2: everything's on the table and they've got an easy schedule.
- 16:50Speaker 3: To get to the ACC championship game and face Miami.
- 16:53Speaker 2: But that's what the coaches want is they want fake
- 16:55Speaker 2: interest so they can get whatever they want from the
- 16:58Speaker 2: place they're at or leave. But when you do business
- 17:01Speaker 2: with those coaches, most of the time it doesn't work out.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I feel like I don't think it's working out with
- 17:08Speaker 2: Lincoln Riley at USC based off what expectations were when
- 17:11Speaker 2: he took that job leaving Oklahoma.
- 17:13Speaker 1: What a quote by Dan Lanning, by the way, who
- 17:15Speaker 1: just beat Lincoln Riley for the third time in three
- 17:18Speaker 1: meetings since Lincoln Riley went to USC. Three wins against
- 17:24Speaker 1: these guys, Lanning said. I guess if you're interested in
- 17:26Speaker 1: winning football games and you're from this area, you should
- 17:28Speaker 1: go to Oregon. If you want to go to a
- 17:30Speaker 1: Chris Brown concert, you should go here.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Great line. Great, great, great line. I love Dan Lanning.
- 17:37Speaker 2: And he's got a nice bounce back after losing to
- 17:41Speaker 2: Oklahoma State.
- 17:42Speaker 3: That was a great win for them.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Brooks Carter says Brian Kelly from Notre Dame to LSU
- 17:46Speaker 2: certainly didn't work out as another example. I just, when
- 17:50Speaker 2: you're that guy, and I'm not trying to disparage the
- 17:54Speaker 2: open market of people trying to make more money, but
- 17:57Speaker 2: when you become that dude that has a great job,
- 18:01Speaker 2: that's not content with that great job, and instead is
- 18:05Speaker 2: out looking for every slight with the AD or players
- 18:08Speaker 2: on your team or location or whatever it may be,
- 18:12Speaker 2: and you're going to leave for a lateral move to
- 18:14Speaker 2: just go make a little bit more money, or in
- 18:16Speaker 2: some cases a lot more money and get a huge buyout,
- 18:19Speaker 2: I don't know that that's the best path to success
- 18:21Speaker 2: for an athletic department in how to hire coaches and
- 18:25Speaker 2: how to spend your money and how you bring up
- 18:26Speaker 2: the paid-to-fail approach.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Part of this. These buyouts have.
- 18:30Speaker 2: To get under control, but they don't get under control
- 18:33Speaker 2: because USC or LSU or someone is always going to
- 18:36Speaker 2: be distracted by the shiny object of the coach they want,
- 18:40Speaker 2: that they feel like they can win the PR battle
- 18:43Speaker 2: by getting them to leave a lateral move job to
- 18:46Speaker 2: come and coach for them. As long as there's one
- 18:49Speaker 2: or two athletic departments and ADs willing to do that,
- 18:52Speaker 2: then this is going to continue to spiral out of control.
- 18:54Speaker 1: USC still has three ranked opponents on their schedule. plus
- 18:57Speaker 1: they have Washington and Penn State on their schedule. And
- 19:02Speaker 1: the question would be, are they actually going to pay $ 70.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Million to move on?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Initially, I would be like, nah, that's too steep. But
- 19:10Speaker 1: year in and year out, we see somebody, we see
- 19:12Speaker 1: some institution willing to just pay for no reason other
- 19:16Speaker 1: than let's just move on. The biggest penalty and the
- 19:22Speaker 1: toughest thing that you can make Lincoln Riley do is
- 19:24Speaker 1: have to coach, have to actually work Instead of getting
- 19:28Speaker 1: paid to fail. Force him to continue to coach. Because
- 19:32Speaker 1: at this point, I would love to take the $ 70
- 19:34Speaker 1: million if I'm him.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, figure it out, dude. That's part of it, too.
- 19:40Speaker 2: We're not going to spend this much money in dead money,
- 19:42Speaker 2: dead cap money, to spend it to give you money
- 19:45Speaker 2: to go away and not work.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I'm with you. He needs to sink or swim. He
- 19:49Speaker 3: needs to figure it out.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Out. And it's not just– his best year was his
- 19:52Speaker 2: first year at USC. And if that was, he would
- 19:54Speaker 2: improve steadily. And you might– You're going to have a
- 19:58Speaker 2: low ebb at some point too. You're going to have
- 20:00Speaker 2: a bad year, but you bounce back from the bad
- 20:02Speaker 2: year and you continue to build. That's what they're relying
- 20:05Speaker 2: on him to do. And it's just not– there's always these–
- 20:09Speaker 2: built-in excuses with everything. Oh, the Big Ten's a bad fit. Or,
- 20:14Speaker 2: you know, we need more investment in our own stadium
- 20:17Speaker 2: and fans need to show up. And I'm just thinking,
- 20:19Speaker 2: you're the head football coach at USC. Pretty good history there.
- 20:22Speaker 2: A lot of talent in your area. Figure it out.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Figure it out where you don't have Dan Lanning clowning
- 20:27Speaker 2: you about players going there to attend a Chris Brown
- 20:30Speaker 2: concert instead of playing football.
- 20:32Speaker 3: That's what you're paid to do.
- 20:34Speaker 1: His best year was the year he left Oklahoma and
- 20:36Speaker 1: took all the players with him.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Congrats, Lincoln. It's not worked out since. Yeah, how about
- 20:43Speaker 3: that quarterback play?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Catfish Jake said Tommy Tuberville left Ole Miss for Auburn.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Ole Miss, when he left it, was not the Ole
- 20:52Speaker 2: Miss that Lane Kiffin left in an NIL world.
- 20:55Speaker 3: This was pre-NIL Ole Miss. It was not.
- 20:58Speaker 2: People didn't bat an eye about Tommy Tuberville leaving Ole
- 21:01Speaker 2: Miss for Auburn. That's what you did at that point. But, yes,
- 21:04Speaker 2: he did very well at Auburn. I mean, that's a
- 21:06Speaker 2: good example of that happening and paying off.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say Brian Kelly is most recently the
- 21:12Speaker 1: worst example to use. I can't think of a great example.
- 21:15Speaker 3: And Jimbo. Jimbo's a bad one, too.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I mean, there's not– unless I'm completely blanking on somebody,
- 21:22Speaker 2: I just can't think.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Of the– But at least Jimbo had won a title
- 21:25Speaker 1: where he was. This was Brian Kelly saying he could
- 21:28Speaker 1: win a title at Notre Dame.
- 21:31Speaker 2: There's plenty of like, okay, someone went somewhere for a time–
- 21:35Speaker 2: and then came back Nick Saban to the NFL and
- 21:37Speaker 2: then back to Alabama. Great at LSU, even better at Alabama.
- 21:41Speaker 2: That obviously worked out within the conference. Steve Spurrier leaves
- 21:45Speaker 2: for the Washington Redskins, comes back to South Carolina, great
- 21:49Speaker 2: at South Carolina, one of their greatest coaches in history
- 21:51Speaker 2: when he takes over there.
- 21:53Speaker 3: There's those examples.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Urban Meyer, the heart attack, followed by him going to
- 21:58Speaker 2: Ohio State.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Yeah, the heart issues, sorry. Was it a year off?
- 22:02Speaker 3: I think it only took one year off when he
- 22:03Speaker 3: was back at Ohio State. After he left Florida. It
- 22:07Speaker 3: was like a year, yeah. And he was great there, too.
- 22:09Speaker 3: But it's tough. Jim Harbaugh, good at Stanford. Just so happened.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Good in the NFL, back to Michigan. Good, but it
- 22:17Speaker 2: wasn't straight Stanford to Michigan and tons of success.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Just so happened that Urban Meyer left Florida as soon
- 22:24Speaker 1: as they were going to get bad, Chad.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Funny how that works. Yeah. He saw the prospects of
- 22:30Speaker 3: no Tim Tebow.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Hard as you happen. Right as they were going to
- 22:33Speaker 2: get bad, yeah. Yeah, John Brantley's my quarterback.
- 22:36Speaker 3: No, I'm good.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I'm going to go ahead and take a year off
- 22:38Speaker 1: and head up to Ohio State. Just like he was good.
- 22:43Speaker 1: They would take the team flight back. He'll stay back
- 22:46Speaker 1: in Ohio for a Thursday night football matchup for the Jaguars.
- 22:50Speaker 3: They'll stay back. Got to hit that favorite sports bar
- 22:53Speaker 3: spot when you're up in Ohio. Yeah, got to have
- 22:55Speaker 3: the blonde. Got to have the blonde. Yeah, Lincoln Riley,
- 22:58Speaker 3: dead men walking.
- 23:00Speaker 1: But I don't feel, we say that like We're doing
- 23:05Speaker 1: him a service here. This is doing him a huge favor.
- 23:09Speaker 1: $ 70 million, roughly, is the buyout. That's unbelievable, man, for
- 23:16Speaker 1: this result at USC. We're not talking about USC upside.
- 23:22Speaker 2: He's also going to get a job somewhere else if
- 23:23Speaker 2: he wants. He could just pay that money to not
- 23:27Speaker 2: do anything or go into media if he wanted, or
- 23:30Speaker 2: he could go get another job somewhere else.
- 23:33Speaker 3: He's going to be able to work.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Elsewhere.
- 23:35Speaker 2: And I also think for USC, who are you hiring?
- 23:40Speaker 2: I mean, who's the no-brainer perfect coach? It's probably some
- 23:43Speaker 2: up-and-comer like we're seeing with a John Sumrall or someone
- 23:46Speaker 2: like that that would kill to be USC's head football
- 23:50Speaker 2: coach that would do a great job with a ton
- 23:51Speaker 2: of energy. But I don't know who that person is
- 23:53Speaker 2: right offhand.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I wouldn't want a West Coast job right now if
- 23:57Speaker 1: I'm in college football or college athletics, especially the West
- 24:01Speaker 1: Coast teams that are in the Big Ten.
- 24:04Speaker 3: That's a ton of travel, man. I think that's tough to.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Recruit to, especially if you're in anything but football.
- 24:14Speaker 2: It's why Oregon needs to hold on for dear life
- 24:16Speaker 2: to Dan Lanning at all costs. You pay him what's necessary.
- 24:21Speaker 2: That's the one program that I feel like has withstood it,
- 24:26Speaker 2: and it's because of their coach and obviously because of
- 24:28Speaker 2: Phil Knight's investment in Nike and into that program too.
- 24:31Speaker 2: But that's one– shining example of okay this this is
- 24:35Speaker 2: working out and hey credit to Bob Chesney and UCLA
- 24:39Speaker 2: they're 4-0 right now they just won 54-3 they haven't
- 24:41Speaker 2: played anybody great yet but still they're off to a
- 24:45Speaker 2: great start this year too so maybe that's a guy
- 24:48Speaker 2: just because every you know every JMU coach every James
- 24:52Speaker 2: Madison coach seems to go on to have success maybe
- 24:56Speaker 2: Bob Chesney's that next guy at UCLA.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Stay tuned more coming here on Hunting with Roe presented
- 25:00Speaker 1: by Hard Rock Bet. XXXY Athletics, founded by Jennifer Say,
- 25:04Speaker 1: former national champion gymnast, former Levi's brand president. She walked
- 25:07Speaker 1: away from her corporate job rather than say something she
- 25:09Speaker 1: didn't believe, and she started XXXY Athletics instead. And the mission,
- 25:12Speaker 1: in their words, is to empower female athletes to take
- 25:14Speaker 1: a stand for fair competition. They call it the T
- 25:17Speaker 1: that launched a movement, and Chad, it's real athletic apparel.
- 25:20Speaker 2: And this is the crew making the official Nashville Balls gear.

- 25:35Speaker 2: XXXYAthletics.com.
- 25:37Speaker 3: That's XX-XYAthletics.com. Case Keenum. Case Keenum.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Getting his first start since 2024.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Take that back. 2021 was his first start.
- 25:51Speaker 1: His first NFL pass attempt since 2024. And what happens? Well,
- 25:56Speaker 1: Kalief Raymond to the house. And the next thing we know, Chad,
- 26:01Speaker 1: the Bears knock off the Eagles.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah, 2023 was the last time he was in the
- 26:06Speaker 2: league before 2025.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Took a year off.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Ben Johnson got him to come out of retirement to
- 26:11Speaker 2: be a backup in Chicago and now gets the start.
- 26:15Speaker 3: And looks good in the game. He's 38 years old.
- 26:19Speaker 2: He almost feels older than that when you think about
- 26:22Speaker 2: Case Keenum's career. When he was tearing up the record
- 26:24Speaker 2: books at Houston in college, it feels like forever ago.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It was not a short time ago that he was
- 26:30Speaker 2: doing that. But at 38 years old, it's remarkable that
- 26:37Speaker 2: we have this dearth of young backup quarterbacks in the NFL.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Like the inability to get the next good young backup.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Like who is that guy, Josh Dobbs, that's been developed
- 26:52Speaker 2: into a lifelong backup quarterback? Josh Dobbs is not a
- 26:54Speaker 2: starter in the NFL, but he's a competent backup. Mitch
- 26:58Speaker 2: Trubisky's a good one. And Mitch Trubisky was a starter.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But you see what I'm saying? It's all old guys
- 27:03Speaker 2: who were starters somewhere else that make the best backups everywhere.
- 27:08Speaker 2: And there's just not that guy that's like, hey, we
- 27:10Speaker 2: got a guy that we drafted in the fifth round.
- 27:13Speaker 3: That we developed for two years, and he knows the system.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And we feel very confident that if we play four
- 27:18Speaker 2: games with him, with our quarterback Hurt, he can get
- 27:20Speaker 2: us a split. Or he can get us close to that.
- 27:23Speaker 1: You've got to have somebody that gets limited reps during
- 27:26Speaker 1: the week. Extremely limited reps during the week. Because let's
- 27:28Speaker 1: face it, a lot of these starters in the league,
- 27:30Speaker 1: unless you're in the top ten starters, you suck. Like
- 27:32Speaker 1: there's not 32 capable NFL starters right now. If we're
- 27:37Speaker 1: just judging based on should this guy start. Cam Ward's
- 27:39Speaker 1: a starter. He should not be an NFL starter.
- 27:41Speaker 3: But he is. Point being. You're getting these guys all
- 27:44Speaker 3: the reps during the week. The backups, very little. Very little.
- 27:48Speaker 1: And right now, you've got a practice squad quarterback handling
- 27:52Speaker 1: all of the practice reps, all of the scout team reps.
- 27:56Speaker 1: So the backup quarterback has to be good on mental reps,
- 27:59Speaker 1: very limited preparation, has to know the game plan, and
- 28:02Speaker 1: know how to prepare. Know how to prepare for the
- 28:05Speaker 1: upcoming game as if he's the starter. And then whenever
- 28:09Speaker 1: he's inserted into the lineup on any given Sunday, the
- 28:12Speaker 1: idea with the backup is you don't go win the
- 28:15Speaker 1: game for us. Just don't lose the game for us.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Go manage this football game. Don't do more than what
- 28:21Speaker 1: you're capable of doing. Play within yourself. Play within what
- 28:25Speaker 1: is the framework of what we have put in. You
- 28:28Speaker 1: know the game plan. You know what we're doing. You
- 28:32Speaker 1: know the timing of the receiver on the right side
- 28:34Speaker 1: whenever he's going to run his out or his three-step hook.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Whatever those might be, the backup's going to be able
- 28:40Speaker 1: to do it. You're not going to find that in
- 28:42Speaker 1: a young guy. In most cases, it is the NFL
- 28:46Speaker 1: journeyman who's going to be doing that on a week-to-week basis.
- 28:50Speaker 1: And if you find somebody that can do that, good.
- 28:55Speaker 1: You do see a lot of the rotation, though. How
- 28:58Speaker 1: many teams has Josh Dobbs been on?
- 29:00Speaker 3: A bunch. And Keenum became.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Only the second quarterback ever to throw a touchdown pass
- 29:08Speaker 2: for seven teams.
- 29:09Speaker 3: It's him and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Last night.
- 29:11Speaker 2: So he's thrown a touchdown pass for seven different teams,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and it's him and Fitzpatrick are alone in that club
- 29:16Speaker 2: of quarterbacks to do that over their career. ESPN put
- 29:19Speaker 2: together a list. Actually, this was just a couple weeks ago.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Best backup quarterbacks in the NFL. Number one is Fernando Mendoza,
- 29:28Speaker 2: the number one overall pick.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I guess.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Who we haven't really seen, but that's a good outside
- 29:34Speaker 2: the box. Number two, Marcus Mariota, someone we know quite well.
- 29:38Speaker 3: With the Commanders. Number three, Mack Jones.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Number four, this would be my example, Hutton, of not
- 29:45Speaker 2: an old guy that is developed by one team that
- 29:48Speaker 2: can go in in a pinch.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Spencer Rattler. with the Saints.
- 29:52Speaker 2: He's number four. I want to see a little bit
- 29:55Speaker 2: more of that across the league. We drafted the guy.
- 29:58Speaker 2: He knows our system. We like him as a backup.
- 30:01Speaker 2: We drafted him to eventually be a backup, and that's
- 30:04Speaker 2: what he is, and we like him there. And he
- 30:06Speaker 2: was the starter there, I know, for a short time too.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Michael Penix Jr., not the backup anymore. Jameis Winston at six,
- 30:13Speaker 2: another old guy. Jalen Daniels with the Bucs, which that's
- 30:18Speaker 2: another example of a young guy. But then we get
- 30:21Speaker 2: into Mitchell Trubisky, Tyrod Taylor, Tyler Huntley, Mason Rudolph, Joe Flacco,
- 30:29Speaker 2: Carson Wentz, Gardner Minshew. And then you get into Josh Dobbs,
- 30:34Speaker 2: Justin Fields. I mean, there's a little bit of a
- 30:38Speaker 2: mix of some young guys in here. Stetson Bennett's on
- 30:41Speaker 2: this list. Kenny Pickett, not an old guy yet. But
- 30:44Speaker 2: there's just a lot of retread veteran guys.
- 30:49Speaker 3: In a league that's so much about youth. Can he
- 30:52Speaker 3: pick a third list only because he's in the league?
- 30:55Speaker 2: Yeah, at every other position, it's about youth. But at quarterback, man,
- 31:01Speaker 2: there's no match for experience.
- 31:03Speaker 1: And again, you want somebody that's not going to go
- 31:05Speaker 1: in and try to play hero ball, but.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Someone that can just.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I think the key is, Chad, not about getting you
- 31:13Speaker 1: into the right play, and many times it's keeping you
- 31:16Speaker 1: out of the bad one. keeping you out of the
- 31:19Speaker 1: wrong play, where the defense has a trap set in,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and instead of snapping the football, you can take the timeout,
- 31:25Speaker 1: or you have the audible, where it looks like you
- 31:28Speaker 1: just turned and handed off into a brick wall, but
- 31:31Speaker 1: what you didn't do is throw in a double coverage,
- 31:33Speaker 1: or you took the sack instead of giving up the
- 31:36Speaker 1: late interception. Things like that that go unnoticed, that's the
- 31:39Speaker 1: veteran instead of the younger quarterback. That's the experience factor,
- 31:43Speaker 1: and I'm not saying that these guys are that light
- 31:46Speaker 1: years better Like there's not a light years difference between
- 31:51Speaker 1: Josh Dobbs and Kenny Pickett. There's not light years, but
- 31:54Speaker 1: there is experience in just knowing the role. You know,
- 31:58Speaker 1: like some guys come in like Will Levis and can't
- 32:01Speaker 1: help themselves, but try to play like they're the Heisman
- 32:05Speaker 1: Trophy winner. You know, like they're headed back to the
- 32:09Speaker 1: Heisman house. And they're not that guy. The guys that
- 32:13Speaker 1: realize they're not that guy, like Chase Daniel. Chase Daniel
- 32:16Speaker 1: made a ton of money just by being Patrick Mahomes' backup.
- 32:21Speaker 1: But what Chase Daniels did was, he barely had to
- 32:26Speaker 1: play at all. I think he threw like nine passes
- 32:28Speaker 1: his entire career. But whenever he came in, he was
- 32:32Speaker 1: ready to go. And they didn't want to replace him
- 32:34Speaker 1: for that one pass for the next year. And he
- 32:37Speaker 1: came in and made his money. Those veteran dudes, more
- 32:42Speaker 1: power to them, man. They know how to do it.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Now, I would say....
- 32:47Speaker 1: I think in some cases, some organizations go too fast
- 32:52Speaker 1: to the backup. Some take their time and don't go
- 32:54Speaker 1: to the backup much at all. We're seeing that right
- 32:56Speaker 1: here in Nashville.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Well, it's also a little bit of yin and yang.
- 33:01Speaker 2: When you're trying to match the two, it's a couple.
- 33:03Speaker 2: In the quarterback room, young quarterback you want to match
- 33:06Speaker 2: with a veteran who started in the league before. That's
- 33:09Speaker 2: no longer a starting quarterback in the league.
- 33:10Speaker 3: That's fair.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Old quarterback, you can match with Spencer Rattler, you know, oftentimes.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Or you can put Kirk Cousins to Fernando Mendoza is
- 33:18Speaker 2: a good example. And Cousins, by the way, looks great
- 33:21Speaker 2: through three weeks, 3-0 Raiders, which surprises me. Peyton Manning,
- 33:26Speaker 2: think of his cast of backups. Jim Sorge over the years,
- 33:30Speaker 2: Dan Orlovsky. I mean, it was always just someone the
- 33:34Speaker 2: Colts drafted that could learn under Manning and was there
- 33:37Speaker 2: to be his assistant. You know, essentially, like that was
- 33:40Speaker 2: the role, like younger assistant to Peyton Manning, apprentice, if
- 33:43Speaker 2: you will. But they were never going to be starters
- 33:45Speaker 2: in the league. They were never drafted to be a
- 33:47Speaker 2: starting quarterback. Jim Sorge was never thought of as, this
- 33:50Speaker 2: guy's a future All-Pro at quarterback in the National Football League.
- 33:54Speaker 2: He was there to be Peyton Manning's apprentice the whole time.
- 33:57Speaker 2: So different ways to do it. I guess it's coaching
- 34:00Speaker 2: staff preference. I'm just watching, and I'm seeing it on
- 34:03Speaker 2: TV right now, I'm watching Case Keenum last night play
- 34:06Speaker 2: at 38th. not really having a chance to play since 2023,
- 34:11Speaker 2: and he retired at one point and came back.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah, Christmas Eve 2024.
- 34:14Speaker 2: And I'm thinking just it's crazy that these old guys
- 34:20Speaker 2: can still get it done to this level in the NFL.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers is the oldest player now, I think, in
- 34:25Speaker 2: the league, and he's the classic example of this in
- 34:28Speaker 2: his last year of actually being the starter. But a
- 34:30Speaker 2: guy like Case Keenum can come and do that is incredible.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Phillip Rivers a year ago. He wasn't great, but he
- 34:37Speaker 2: looked okay at times, having been away that long.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Brilliant job by Phillip Rivers, too, because the pension. You
- 34:44Speaker 1: get the five years free health care or whatever it is,
- 34:47Speaker 1: and had he waited one more year, he would have
- 34:51Speaker 1: been ineligible for the health care for his family or
- 34:55Speaker 1: whatever it was from the league. And so by coming
- 34:58Speaker 1: back and playing that one snap, just by signing to
- 35:02Speaker 1: the practice squad, Like he did for that one week.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Chad, he resets the five years. He's got like 15 kids.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I wonder if Phillip Rivers named one of those 15 kids,
- 35:17Speaker 2: like the middle child or the youngest, Phillip Jr.
- 35:20Speaker 3: The way Robert Sala did. And then skip three or
- 35:23Speaker 3: four of his sons before getting to the junior. Now
- 35:27Speaker 3: I'm ready. Now I'm ready to bequeath my name to
- 35:29Speaker 3: my fourth born son.
- 35:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 3: None of these bastard children ahead of me.
- 35:36Speaker 2: None of the older children are worth it, but this
- 35:38Speaker 2: fourth born is definitely worth it.
- 35:40Speaker 1: This Tyrion Lannister is not going to be the junior.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Not while I'm on the watch.
- 35:45Speaker 4: That's right.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Not this imp. I got a special feeling about this kid.
- 35:49Speaker 3: This one's going to be good. He's been kicking hard.
- 35:51Speaker 3: He's been kicking hard instead of mama.
- 35:52Speaker 4: That's right.
- 35:53Speaker 3: He's going to be the junior.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I know this as a golden child. I was the
- 35:57Speaker 2: fifth of five kids, and I was the chosen one
- 36:00Speaker 2: in the family. You can ask all my siblings. I'm
- 36:03Speaker 2: not speaking out of turn here. I was treated differently.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I was the youngest. I was the one that was
- 36:07Speaker 2: given expectations where no expectations were placed on them. They
- 36:12Speaker 2: weren't thought of highly at all. They were given no advantages,
- 36:15Speaker 2: and I was given every advantage. So I understand this
- 36:18Speaker 2: as the golden.
- 36:19Speaker 3: Child of the family. State of innovation for you, Chad.
- 36:21Speaker 2: I'm basically Robert Sala, Jr.
- 36:24Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I'm Sith-born, and I wasn't given the Tom Withrow Jr.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Name, which would have been pretty sweet, honestly, had I
- 36:32Speaker 3: been given that.
- 36:33Speaker 2: But, you know, Chad will have to do, but definitely
- 36:36Speaker 2: the Golden Child will do.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Chad will have to do.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Even being the Golden Child, my dad wasn't willing to
- 36:44Speaker 2: give me his name. He's like, no, I think I've
- 36:47Speaker 2: done a little bit too much in life to give
- 36:49Speaker 2: a Thomas Withrow Jr.
- 36:52Speaker 1: And I'm not trying to say that I'm against the
- 36:55Speaker 1: whole junior aspect.
- 36:57Speaker 3: If you're a junior, more power to you.
- 36:58Speaker 1: If you're a senior who handed down your name, whatever.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I just find it difficult to be like, you know what?
- 37:05Speaker 1: This kid's going to have my name. Because there's an
- 37:09Speaker 1: arrogance to that, Chad. That is like, okay, not only
- 37:13Speaker 1: do you feel good enough and above your child to where...
- 37:19Speaker 1: There's also some expectation with that, too.
- 37:22Speaker 3: You know, like JFK Jr.
- 37:25Speaker 2: If I had a better name, if my name was
- 37:27Speaker 2: John Fitzgerald Kennedy, then I would give my son the
- 37:31Speaker 2: junior moniker.
- 37:32Speaker 3: I just wouldn't want to do that.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I don't have a son, but if I did, I
- 37:35Speaker 2: wouldn't want to do that to a son to give
- 37:37Speaker 2: him the name Chad.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Which is not a good name.
- 37:40Speaker 1: And then, okay, let me go on the flip side
- 37:42Speaker 1: of this. If you're the third or the fourth, so
- 37:46Speaker 1: if you are, if you are, let's see.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Thomas Maypother IV. That's Tom Cruise's actual name.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Okay, okay.
- 37:56Speaker 3: But you decide that you're not going to hand down
- 37:58Speaker 3: the fifth. How dare you? How dare you?
- 38:02Speaker 1: If you're the one who breaks it, and you actually
- 38:04Speaker 1: have a son, where you could break the sequence, and
- 38:09Speaker 1: you choose to break the sequence after four generations?
- 38:14Speaker 3: That's a weird dynamic. I think that and.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Again, anytime you just don't give the eldest son, because
- 38:21Speaker 2: nothing is given. You don't know you're going to have
- 38:26Speaker 2: more sons. If your plan is to have a junior.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Excuse me.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're going to have a son, then you're
- 38:33Speaker 1: going to hand down the name.
- 38:35Speaker 2: How you don't give it to the eldest son, because
- 38:38Speaker 2: nothing after that is a given, is a shocking decision
- 38:41Speaker 2: to me.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 38:44Speaker 1: It's like one of the owners right now, Kenneth Adams IV.
- 38:48Speaker 1: He doesn't have a son.
- 38:49Speaker 3: But I'm guessing Kenneth is the oldest son.
- 38:51Speaker 1: He is the oldest son, but I'm saying he doesn't
- 38:54Speaker 1: have a son right now, but I'm assuming that there
- 38:56Speaker 1: would be a fifth if they have the opportunity.
- 39:00Speaker 3: I mean, time to get cracking on a son, I guess.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I guess.
- 39:05Speaker 2: That's the only solution. British royalty would kill the women
- 39:11Speaker 2: who could not produce a son for them and find
- 39:13Speaker 2: another one.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Yeah, no kidding.
- 39:15Speaker 1: But, man, the idea that– I also respect the idea
- 39:20Speaker 1: where it's like, you know what? I'm going to let
- 39:21Speaker 1: my son have a different name and make his own
- 39:24Speaker 1: name instead of having to live up to this name.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Fair enough. Catfish Jacob.
- 39:30Speaker 4: In the name.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Catfish Jake says, Philip Fulmer Jr. exists, his first son
- 39:34Speaker 2: from a widely unknown first marriage. But that's my point.
- 39:39Speaker 2: That's the traditional route. If Phil wanted to have a
- 39:42Speaker 2: Phil Jr., then you go ahead and you get that
- 39:45Speaker 2: out of the way. That's a good TV show. Yes,
- 39:49Speaker 2: with the first son. My brothers have the middle name.
- 39:54Speaker 2: This is kind of odd, but both my brothers have
- 39:55Speaker 2: the same middle name. They're Stephen Joseph and Nick Joseph Withrow.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Joseph is my grandfather's name. So my father bestowed upon
- 40:05Speaker 2: them his father's name as the middle name. I am
- 40:08Speaker 2: Chad Thomas Withrow. That's my father's name. So my dad,
- 40:12Speaker 2: that's sort of the version of junior for him, I guess.
- 40:15Speaker 2: So instead of giving the grandfather's name for the third son,
- 40:18Speaker 2: he gave his own name as the middle name, right?
- 40:22Speaker 3: So technically you are a junior.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Hey.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Hindsight is 20-20, but I would have preferred Thomas Withrow Jr.
- 40:27Speaker 3: even as the third kid.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Thomas is a more distinguished name than Chad, right? It's
- 40:33Speaker 2: a better name than Chad. It's a presidential name. Hutton,
- 40:37Speaker 2: if you met me and you're like, hey, I'm Tom,
- 40:40Speaker 2: as a young guy, you'd be like, wow, that's an
- 40:42Speaker 2: odd name. I remember my buddy had a friend named Tom,
- 40:46Speaker 2: and we were like 12, and he'd come and hang
- 40:48Speaker 2: out with him from out of town some, and I'm like,
- 40:50Speaker 2: your friend's name is Tom?
- 40:51Speaker 3: Not Tommy, not Thomas, just Tom. Tom.
- 40:53Speaker 2: His best friend Tom, which was a great name for
- 40:56Speaker 2: a kid in 1995, to be a kid was very different.
- 41:01Speaker 3: But again, I can't think of many examples.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Maybe people can help us out online of not the
- 41:08Speaker 2: firstborn son being junior, skipping sons, and then later bestowing
- 41:13Speaker 2: the junior name to a younger kid.
- 41:14Speaker 1: I love when we just have random discussions like this
- 41:16Speaker 1: because it brings up another question. We can get this
- 41:17Speaker 1: in the chat too. At what point, what age do
- 41:20Speaker 1: you drop the Y from your name?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Tommy... Johnny, Billy, you know, we can keep going.
- 41:28Speaker 1: At what point do you just drop the Y and
- 41:31Speaker 1: you go by Bill or Tom, you know, or whatever
- 41:35Speaker 1: it might be, whatever your name may be. Chad, I
- 41:38Speaker 1: think it's like it's got to be the end of
- 41:42Speaker 1: high school.
- 41:44Speaker 3: I mean. Tommy's got to become Tom or Thomas by
- 41:47Speaker 3: the time you get to college. Bold take. If Y
- 41:52Speaker 3: is not in your name. It should never be added
- 41:54Speaker 3: to your name.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Ricky is one of the most redneck, trashy names. I
- 42:03Speaker 2: say this with love as a guy who also has
- 42:06Speaker 2: a terrible first name.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Chad is not a good name. Your name is Richard
- 42:09Speaker 3: or it's Rick. Your name is not Ricky. Or Dick.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Thomas or it's Tom. It's not Tommy. It's
- 42:17Speaker 2: Robert or it's Rob. It's not Robbie. Robbie's another bad name.
- 42:22Speaker 3: It's John, Jonathan, not Johnny. It's never Richie. It's not Johnny. Absolutely. Jonathan, John, great. Johnny,
- 42:30Speaker 3: not great.
- 42:31Speaker 2: There is never a need. America, let me tell you this.
- 42:35Speaker 2: This doesn't happen overseas. This doesn't happen in Europe. This
- 42:38Speaker 2: doesn't happen on the rest of the world. This is
- 42:40Speaker 2: something we actually got wrong. You don't add a Y
- 42:43Speaker 2: to a proper God-given name of your first name. Just
- 42:48Speaker 2: keep it the way it is. If I was Thomas
- 42:51Speaker 2: Withrow Jr., I would want to either be called Thomas
- 42:53Speaker 2: or Tom. I would never want to be called Tommy.
- 42:56Speaker 1: But I would say the Y is added for the kid.
- 43:00Speaker 1: But yet, I see adults now going with the I,
- 43:03Speaker 1: or not the I, the I-E. I don't see the I-E,
- 43:06Speaker 1: thank God, or the Y. Bill, there's no Billy. In fact,
- 43:12Speaker 1: my grandfather's name was William.
- 43:13Speaker 3: He went by Bill.
- 43:15Speaker 1: People would call him Billy that grew up with him.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I'm talking like adolescent age.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Hey, Billy. It was more of like a prod. I
- 43:25Speaker 3: remember you when you were a kid kind of thing.
- 43:27Speaker 3: It's demeaning.
- 43:28Speaker 2: But his name was Bill. Hey, little Billy. David or
- 43:35Speaker 2: Dave does not need to be Davey. We know some Davies.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I like some Davies. It needs to be David or Dave.
- 43:41Speaker 3: There's no David. I'm across the board.
- 43:44Speaker 2: I can't think of one example of where you add
- 43:47Speaker 2: a Y to the end of a name that makes
- 43:48Speaker 2: it better. It's always worse every single time. My daughter's
- 43:52Speaker 2: names end in a Y, so it's acceptable for them
- 43:55Speaker 2: to call them with the name of the Y.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Everly, Lucy. These are names that end in a Y.
- 44:00Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 44:01Speaker 2: If I tried to take Evelyn and make it Evie,
- 44:06Speaker 2: Even with a girl, that's not the right way to go.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Go by your God-given name. And if your name is Kelly,
- 44:12Speaker 2: like Kelly in Vegas, that ends in a Y.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Fine. Your name is Kelly. It already ends in a Y.
- 44:17Speaker 3: We don't need to add Ys.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Hutton, I just wasted a perfectly fine primary complaint on this,
- 44:23Speaker 2: but maybe we'll revisit tomorrow with primary complaint also.
- 44:26Speaker 3: No whys. Let's drop the whys, America. We don't need
- 44:28Speaker 3: whys in of a name.
- 44:29Speaker 1: I bring it up because there needs to be an
- 44:32Speaker 1: age demarcation. There's a line of demarcation here where you
- 44:36Speaker 1: have to drop the why in order for me to
- 44:37Speaker 1: take you seriously.
- 44:39Speaker 3: And you don't want to be treated like a kid.
- 44:40Speaker 3: You want to be treated like an adult. Have an
- 44:42Speaker 3: adult name. Drop the why.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Certainly an age demarcation if you're going to do it. Again,
- 44:47Speaker 2: my age demarcation is zero.
- 44:49Speaker 3: Never.
- 44:50Speaker 2: We stop that at age zero. When you're born, you
- 44:53Speaker 2: are your name, and we don't add a Y to it.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Oh, here comes Billy. Here comes Ricky. Oh, there's Bobby. Donnie. Donnie.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Here comes Donnie. Robbie. Donnie.
- 45:05Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Keep those coming. Freddie. Freddie. Frederick. Great. Fred. Fine. Freddie.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Nope.
- 45:15Speaker 3: I'm out. Davey's a good one. Davey's a good one.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Davey sounds like a three-year-old for life. And we know Davey's.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I like Davey's again. When your name is Davey, you
- 45:27Speaker 2: sound like you're wearing, you know, those like the first
- 45:30Speaker 2: photos you get as a toddler.
- 45:32Speaker 3: And you're in the shorts and the high-laced white socks. Yes.
- 45:36Speaker 3: And the little bitty sailor's cap. Your shoes are going
- 45:38Speaker 3: to be bronzed. Yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Think of any photo of you as a kid that
- 45:42Speaker 2: it's a little glossy and it doesn't quite look right.
- 45:45Speaker 2: It looks really old. That's what Davey is to me
- 45:47Speaker 2: at all times. A toddler who can barely walk wearing
- 45:50Speaker 2: white lace socks.
- 45:51Speaker 4: Yes.
- 45:52Speaker 3: That's who you are. Yes. Going sailing. Oh, look at
- 45:58Speaker 3: our little captain. Look at our little captain, Davey. Our
- 46:01Speaker 3: sweet little sailor, Davey, over here. He looks like a
- 46:04Speaker 3: little guy who likes a yacht rock. Look at this
- 46:07Speaker 3: little guy. Oh, look at him. So sweet. Little Davey.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Coming up, it is time to take a look, a
- 46:14Speaker 1: glance ahead of the SEC weekend, the power lineup. It
- 46:18Speaker 1: is our SEC power lineup with Hard Rock. That's next
- 46:20Speaker 1: here on Huntley Withrow. Sunday with Rowe presented by Hard
- 46:23Speaker 1: Rock Bet. Right now, $ 5 for new customers. You can
- 46:26Speaker 1: bet $ 5, you.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Get $ 100 in bonus bets.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Ends October the 4th, so act now at hardrock.bet.clay. Hardrock.bet.clay.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Bet $ 5, get $ 100 in bonus bets.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Hardrock.bet.clay. Time to check out the power lineup. Let's look ahead, Chad,
- 46:44Speaker 1: see what we like here for the SEC upcoming weekend.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Right now, Alabama favored by six on the road against
- 46:51Speaker 1: Mississippi State.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Just run through them real quick.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Georgia and Vanderbilt, excuse me, 24.5 is the line there
- 47:00Speaker 1: between the hedges. You've got Florida and Missouri. Gators favored
- 47:05Speaker 1: by 5.5 on the road. Tennessee favored by 7 against
- 47:09Speaker 1: Auburn at home at Neyland. And South Carolina getting 2.5
- 47:12Speaker 1: as they host Kentucky. A & M returns home after
- 47:16Speaker 1: back-to-back losses. They return home. They're favored by 14 against Arkansas. And, well,
- 47:23Speaker 1: you have LSU and McNeese. Well, no line needed for this,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I guess.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, FCS teams don't often get a line when they
- 47:34Speaker 2: go against FBS opponents, so they're not even going to
- 47:36Speaker 2: post it.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I'm sure you can go offshore and maybe see something.
- 47:41Speaker 3: But not with Art Rock. Let's set the line at 34.5.
- 47:43Speaker 4: So....
- 47:45Speaker 2: We're going to have our parlay tomorrow. We're going to
- 47:48Speaker 2: have locks later in the week. I'm trying to stay
- 47:52Speaker 2: undefeated with my locks on the season. If I'm just
- 47:54Speaker 2: glancing at this right now, though, Hutton, it would not
- 47:57Speaker 2: be my lock because it's a stretch. It was a
- 47:59Speaker 2: six-point line. Mississippi State's going to beat Alabama outright at home.
- 48:04Speaker 2: I would lean money line Mississippi State as a six-point
- 48:08Speaker 2: underdog at home. I also think that much like Ole
- 48:14Speaker 2: Miss gets an emotional win at home, they go on
- 48:17Speaker 2: the road and lay a bit of an egg, I
- 48:19Speaker 2: could see Florida doing the exact same thing. Missouri coming
- 48:22Speaker 2: off a road loss, Missouri coming home, Florida off that
- 48:25Speaker 2: emotional home win in the swamp, they go to Missouri
- 48:29Speaker 2: and lose. I really like the home teams in these games.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I think South Carolina is going to bounce back. I
- 48:35Speaker 2: think Tennessee bounces back. After the loss against Auburn, I
- 48:40Speaker 2: think Georgia absolutely covers 24-9.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Keep this in mind, too. Jared Curtis spurned Georgia.
- 48:45Speaker 2: He was a longtime Georgia commit, and now he goes
- 48:48Speaker 2: to Athens. And he doesn't have a supporting cast. I mean,
- 48:53Speaker 2: let's face it. They're at a talent deficit against Georgia
- 48:57Speaker 2: when you think about Gunnar Stockton and who he has
- 48:58Speaker 2: to throw to compared to Vandy and Jared Curtis. So
- 49:01Speaker 2: that's going to be a tough one for him. But, yeah,
- 49:03Speaker 2: I like a lot of these home teams this week.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Let's do that graphic one more time because I want
- 49:07Speaker 1: to go through and tell you who I like. I'm
- 49:10Speaker 1: taking Bama. Initially, I want to take Bama minus six. But, Chad,
- 49:17Speaker 1: after watching Mississippi State, it's hard. for me to go
- 49:20Speaker 1: against Mississippi State at home. But what does Vegas know here?
- 49:25Speaker 1: I feel like this should be a three and a half,
- 49:27Speaker 1: two and a half type game.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I don't know if you agree with that. I thought
- 49:32Speaker 3: it would be under five. Yeah, under five, okay. Four
- 49:35Speaker 3: and a half, three and a half, three, somewhere like that.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think the Georgia-Vandy game is spot on with what
- 49:40Speaker 1: I was expecting. A little bit over 21 points there. Again,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I would take Georgia at home. Florida on the road,
- 49:49Speaker 1: this is the trap where it's telling me don't do
- 49:54Speaker 1: exactly what you did last week, which was you're taking
- 49:56Speaker 1: Ole Miss on the road.
- 49:58Speaker 3: And it's roughly the same. You're like, what the hell? Like,
- 50:01Speaker 3: of course Ole Miss is.
- 50:01Speaker 1: Going to go on the road and win. They've got
- 50:03Speaker 1: Trinidad Chandler. Now I'm looking at this going, of course
- 50:06Speaker 1: Florida's going to go on the road. They're going to
- 50:07Speaker 1: run it right down Missouri's throat. It's hard for me
- 50:11Speaker 1: to pick Missouri at home and take the five and
- 50:13Speaker 1: a half. I would take Florida initially. That's really the
- 50:16Speaker 1: only road team just off the top, Chad, that I
- 50:19Speaker 1: think I would be willing to say– That's my lock,
- 50:25Speaker 1: would be Florida. Of the road teams that I'm willing
- 50:28Speaker 1: to put the lock behind right now.
- 50:30Speaker 2: I got a funny feeling that you're going to see
- 50:33Speaker 2: both those home teams win outright. Missouri as an underdog
- 50:36Speaker 2: and Mississippi State as an underdog. I think this will
- 50:39Speaker 2: further my thought that the SEC every year, you're not
- 50:45Speaker 2: going to survive it. Even the great teams in the
- 50:48Speaker 2: conference are going to lose two to three.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Texas will lose two games this year. I think at
- 50:53Speaker 3: least one. Like, you're not going to go unbeaten, unblemished.
- 50:57Speaker 2: And these teams we think are great. I'm hearing talk
- 50:59Speaker 2: now that Florida's the best team in America after what
- 51:01Speaker 2: they did to Ole Miss, right?
- 51:03Speaker 3: And that's legitimate. That's not a joke.
- 51:05Speaker 2: There are legitimate people arguing that Florida's better than everyone
- 51:08Speaker 2: in the country. Florida is going to be cut down
- 51:11Speaker 2: and chopped down to size. by someone on this schedule.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Could it be Missouri this week?
- 51:16Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Will it be Texas in a few weeks? Probably. But
- 51:19Speaker 3: they're going to be coming down to size more and
- 51:21Speaker 3: more and more. They're playing between the rocks, though. They're
- 51:24Speaker 3: playing between the rocks. This isn't playing between the hedges.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Come on.
- 51:30Speaker 2: We need to ask Todd Furman or Kelly in Vegas
- 51:33Speaker 2: or Ariel Epstein who do this for a living at
- 51:35Speaker 2: some point. What would the line shift be if you
- 51:38Speaker 2: replaced the Rocks with people?
- 51:39Speaker 3: With people. With Missouri fans for that game?
- 51:42Speaker 2: Instead of a Rock formation, guys, we're going to have
- 51:44Speaker 2: people that cover up those Rocks that are making a
- 51:46Speaker 2: lot of noise. I wonder if that would give us
- 51:48Speaker 2: a point or two for Missouri on that line. We'll
- 51:52Speaker 2: do the research and find out.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Tennessee Auburn's a tricky one for me, too. Yeah, especially
- 51:58Speaker 3: the one for that. I don't know how I feel
- 51:59Speaker 3: about that, man.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Especially with the weather being bad because Auburn does a
- 52:03Speaker 2: better job of running it with the quarterback and design
- 52:06Speaker 2: runs in the run game.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Tennessee's going to run all over them, though.
- 52:09Speaker 2: With the QB. Look, I like Tennessee. They've got to
- 52:12Speaker 2: find a way to start playing better at home. This
- 52:15Speaker 2: is a home game that you've got to win. And
- 52:17Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, Josh Heibel does not want
- 52:20Speaker 2: to lose to a guy that he mentored in Alex
- 52:22Speaker 2: Golish in his return to Neyland Stadium because all the
- 52:25Speaker 2: talk's going to be about how that offense has not
- 52:28Speaker 2: been any good since he left.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Since he was the offensive coordinator, if he comes in
- 52:31Speaker 3: and wins with Auburn.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Between now and tomorrow, I'm going to do some study.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I've got to study up on my going for the
- 52:37Speaker 1: bundle selection. I'm not going to have it right after
- 52:39Speaker 1: the show, JT. I've got to get this right this week.
- 52:43Speaker 1: It's time to start stacking some wins on going for
- 52:46Speaker 1: the bundle.
- 52:46Speaker 3: We hit one of these.
- 52:48Speaker 1: We'll be back to even whenever we kick things off
- 52:51Speaker 1: a week from now on these parlays.
- 52:53Speaker 3: We're going for the bundle. Hard rock bet.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Hardrock.bet.clay is where you can go to follow us.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Roll with us. on the early look at the SEC. Chad,
- 53:01Speaker 3: fun show today. Back at it tomorrow. See you then.
- 53:04Speaker 2: I'm about to get in the lab and start researching
- 53:06Speaker 2: my going for the bundle also.
- 53:08Speaker 3: So here we go. It's Hutton and Withrow presented by
- 53:10Speaker 3: Hard Rock Bet.
