- 0:57Speaker 2: Hello and welcome... Back to Juicy Scoop with more of
- 1:01Speaker 2: your favorite blue-eyed delight, non-hat wearing, thank God, Chris Frangiola.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Chris, let's get into the topics. George Santos really made
- 1:11Speaker 2: a splash on Cameo. And apparently he is suing Jimmy
- 1:14Speaker 2: Kimmel for using his cameos, saying like, They're not yours
- 1:20Speaker 2: to use.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:21Speaker 2: But in diving into it more, the thing about Cameo
- 1:25Speaker 2: that you have to be careful about if you do Cameo,
- 1:27Speaker 2: which you and I both do, is the people that
- 1:30Speaker 2: bought that Cameo for $ 50.
- 1:32Speaker 4: $ 100, $ 300.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It's theirs.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 2: It's their property. So they can share it on social
- 1:38Speaker 2: media and make fun of you. They can give it
- 1:40Speaker 2: to Jimmy Kimmel.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Right. Yeah. So you have to.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Be careful when you do those. I like to look
- 1:46Speaker 2: cute when I do them.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I mean, I do, but I do them thinking, you know, remember,
- 1:54Speaker 2: this is going to go out there. And sometimes people
- 1:55Speaker 2: just get bored and they just start spilling some juice
- 1:58Speaker 2: about their life.
- 1:59Speaker 4: On the cameo.
- 2:00Speaker 2: On to the cameo. And then those go, especially like
- 2:02Speaker 2: about housewives and stuff, then I see them in like
- 2:05Speaker 2: the other groups and things. And so.
- 2:07Speaker 4: I feel like that's what happens a lot with podcasting too.
- 2:10Speaker 4: All these people are getting in trouble for different things.
- 2:12Speaker 4: It's because you start talking for hours on end, you know,
- 2:16Speaker 4: some podcasts. The next thing you know, they just, like,
- 2:18Speaker 4: say something. Like, I think, you know, the Tom Sandoval
- 2:21Speaker 4: thing we talked about. I think he was talking. Who knows?
- 2:23Speaker 2: No, that was, like, a written interview. But, yeah, I
- 2:25Speaker 2: think you're just getting so used to just chatting. But,
- 2:29Speaker 2: you know, exactly. But, you know, like, he's got anything
- 2:34Speaker 2: to lose. But he's not going to win that. So
- 2:35Speaker 2: I thought that was interesting. Wendy Williams. I'm like, okay,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'm very confused. And I've read stuff on this. Poor
- 2:43Speaker 2: Wendy Williams. Her show ended in 2021. It got canceled
- 2:45Speaker 2: in 2022. Um, then she did a documentary where she
- 2:51Speaker 2: was part of or something. And this is now like
- 2:54Speaker 2: part two of that.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Right.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So, but it's like they picked up the cameras. Maybe,
- 3:00Speaker 2: maybe I'm guessing maybe she had a deal to do
- 3:02Speaker 2: a part two, but it's not making her look good.
- 3:04Speaker 2: All her family is talking. She's on the cover of
- 3:07Speaker 2: people with a family going, we don't know where she is.
- 3:08Speaker 2: She's an alcoholic. She's at some facility. We see her
- 3:12Speaker 2: in this clips being like, kind of losing it and
- 3:15Speaker 2: being like, take me back to the studio. And they're like,
- 3:17Speaker 2: we just drove by there. And her being like, I'm broke.
- 3:23Speaker 2: And it's just so weird. I'm like, I don't understand
- 3:26Speaker 2: who's in charge. Is she getting paid to be in
- 3:31Speaker 2: this documentary or she just signed something away and the
- 3:34Speaker 2: family's getting money for it?
- 3:36Speaker 4: I mean, doesn't she have like mental health issues or something?
- 3:39Speaker 4: Because I feel like that show was huge and she
- 3:41Speaker 4: was killing it on that time slot. I loved being
- 3:44Speaker 4: on that show. And then all of a sudden it
- 3:46Speaker 4: just kind of weirdly ended because there was a lot
- 3:48Speaker 4: of different– remember she fainted and then there was– she
- 3:51Speaker 4: wasn't showing up and blah, blah, blah. But I feel
- 3:54Speaker 4: like– uh, it ended rather quickly. It's like, they didn't
- 3:57Speaker 4: cancel it because of ratings. I think it was doing
- 3:58Speaker 4: very well. She took all.
- 4:00Speaker 2: This time off.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 2: And that's when they were having guest hosts and stuff,
- 4:03Speaker 2: which I was part of that as well.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Hoping, hoping, hoping that she could come back and she
- 4:09Speaker 2: just couldn't. And it was like a combination of health issues.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Yes.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I mean, she has Graves disease. Um, and then also she,
- 4:16Speaker 2: I guess is struggling with alcoholism. Right. I guess apparently, um,
- 4:22Speaker 2: But she seemed to be okay after it all came
- 4:24Speaker 2: out with the husband. Right. That the husband had not
- 4:27Speaker 2: only a mistress that I think she was aware of.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Once he had a baby, she was like, okay, there's
- 4:30Speaker 2: no denying this.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Last time I was on the show, she was good.
- 4:34Speaker 2: She was like, I'm going to come out to L.A.
- 4:36Speaker 2: and have some fun. And she was like over him.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And then something happened and she just never came back
- 4:44Speaker 2: and they just couldn't keep the show going on anymore.
- 4:47Speaker 4: But is she also older now? I mean, how old
- 4:49Speaker 4: is she? Is she 50 or is she 80?
- 4:51Speaker 2: She's definitely not 80.
- 4:52Speaker 4: I mean, I have no idea.
- 4:53Speaker 2: She's probably close to 60.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Oh, so she's young. Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 2: If she didn't have all these ailments, she could go
- 4:59Speaker 2: on for another 20 years.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Right, right.
- 5:01Speaker 2: She was very unique in what she did. Then she
- 5:03Speaker 2: was like, oh, I'm going to do a podcast. I'm
- 5:04Speaker 2: going to do this and that. You know, everyone thinks
- 5:06Speaker 2: that's easier.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 5:08Speaker 2: No, but I don't know. I'm very confused if she's
- 5:11Speaker 2: part of this documentary or not. And if she is not,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I feel like that's not okay that we're even going
- 5:17Speaker 2: to see this.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 5:18Speaker 4: What is it going to air on?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Lifetime.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Oh, okay. Wow.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Like maybe she, you know what I mean? Like even
- 5:25Speaker 2: if she signed and did it, why isn't there somebody
- 5:28Speaker 2: going to court? That's where I feel like nobody's on
- 5:31Speaker 2: her side.
- 5:32Speaker 4: You know what she needs to do right now?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Like if this was my mother, I would be like,
- 5:34Speaker 2: I'm going to court to stop this. Yeah. Because yes,
- 5:37Speaker 2: she agreed to do this when she was at her
- 5:39Speaker 2: right mind, sound of mind and body.
- 5:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 2: But she's not anymore. And therefore, I don't think that
- 5:44Speaker 2: this is what she wants out there as her late,
- 5:47Speaker 2: her her having cameras following her around when she really doesn't, like,
- 5:52Speaker 2: this is going to be the last thing that we
- 5:54Speaker 2: might see of her. I'd be like, no, we shouldn't
- 5:56Speaker 2: be able to see this.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 4: She should go on the Shannon Sharp podcast. But that's,
- 6:00Speaker 4: that's what everybody does. And just start to name, because
- 6:02Speaker 4: that's what she did before. She was like a radio DJ. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 4: that's where she'd.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Spill all the beans. Yeah, that was her whole thing.
- 6:07Speaker 2: She was the original Kat Williams.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Exactly. Now go to, and Monique, who did it recently.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Oh, you know what's going on with Monique?
- 6:13Speaker 3: No.
- 6:13Speaker 2: So she has, Monique the comedian, she's going on tour,
- 6:17Speaker 2: I guess, with Kat. which I think is a great combo.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Talk about going to listen to some juicy fucking scoop.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Buy a ticket to that. But she has this great looking,
- 6:28Speaker 2: well-spoken adult son who is from her first relationship, I guess.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And then she has three or two other little, well,
- 6:36Speaker 2: they're not little now, but with the man that she
- 6:39Speaker 2: is her manager, that she calls daddy. I don't know
- 6:42Speaker 2: if she calls her husband daddy, but whatever. And the
- 6:44Speaker 2: son got on TikTok. the adult son, and basically said, like,
- 6:48Speaker 2: we're estranged. We're never talking. We're never going to fuck
- 6:50Speaker 2: with each other again. All these awful things. And it's
- 6:54Speaker 2: so sad to watch. As I watched it, I was like...
- 6:58Speaker 2: And then, of course, Monique and her husband, who's the stepdad,
- 7:02Speaker 2: went and counteracted, you know, did their counterargument and was like,
- 7:06Speaker 2: we gave him money for a car. We da-da-da-da. He's
- 7:10Speaker 2: being more like, she doesn't want to see her granddaughter.
- 7:12Speaker 2: And it's just so... Icky that like everyone is doing
- 7:16Speaker 2: this like on social media.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Like I'm going to tell on you. Well, no, I'm
- 7:21Speaker 2: going to tell on you. And you're like, well, what
- 7:23Speaker 2: is the end game here?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 2: But every time I see something like this, I'm always
- 7:27Speaker 2: just like, oh, my kids never do this to me.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And he's like, all she cares about being is Monique
- 7:34Speaker 2: and everything. And I'm like, oh, no, I don't think
- 7:36Speaker 2: that they're good.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Right now you're safe.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Right now, I think I'm pretty safe.
- 7:40Speaker 4: It doesn't look like they're turning that way. But I might.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I might go on the Shannon Shaw podcast and talk
- 7:47Speaker 4: for like five hours.
- 7:49Speaker 2: You're the only one that couldn't be persuaded by certain people.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I know that.
- 7:55Speaker 2: How do you feel now about this relationship of Taylor
- 7:59Speaker 2: and Travis? I feel that there's a couple girls that
- 8:03Speaker 2: have been talking about it, and I kind of agree.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Oh.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Could she possibly catch the ick factor in the next
- 8:12Speaker 2: two months? When he got up there at the award
- 8:18Speaker 2: ceremony or whatever.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Started to fight for the right to party.
- 8:21Speaker 2: No, that one was bad enough. I think it was
- 8:23Speaker 2: worse when he sang, I got friends in low place.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And one of the things I've said in order to
- 8:31Speaker 2: keep this relationship, marriage, kids, going on, is that I'm
- 8:36Speaker 2: afraid that Travis is a secret, he has a secret
- 8:41Speaker 2: desire to be a rock star.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Wow.
- 8:44Speaker 2: And there's nothing worse, that is terrifying.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 2: The only thing more terrifying than that is when a
- 8:49Speaker 2: comedian actually wants to be a singer.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I'll give you what probably the reality of the situation is,
- 8:54Speaker 4: which might even be more terrifying than wanting to be
- 8:56Speaker 4: a rock star, is he is a bro, a bro bro.
- 9:01Speaker 4: And a bro's fine in short spurts. You know what
- 9:04Speaker 4: I mean? You don't want bro, like, this is the
- 9:07Speaker 4: guy who has like a, you know, a male den,
- 9:12Speaker 4: you know, where they go watch TV. Oh, yeah, yeah. Like,
- 9:14Speaker 4: don't come in here. I'm in my man cave. Like,
- 9:17Speaker 4: that's what he's going to be at 40. Right now
- 9:19Speaker 4: he's whatever, 34 or whatever. But you're going to be bro,
- 9:23Speaker 4: cigar guy. He's got friends.
- 9:26Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. I'm thinking, like, okay, they've only
- 9:28Speaker 2: been dating for three months.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And they dated during the fun of, Dating the captain
- 9:36Speaker 2: of the football team.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Of the team that won.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:41Speaker 2: And look, I have been pro this relationship. But I
- 9:47Speaker 2: feel like there might be a moment that happens with girls.
- 9:51Speaker 2: It's different with guys where they get turned off because
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm not a guy.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I only know when I've been that girl that's been
- 9:57Speaker 2: into somebody or I've had a friend and they just
- 10:00Speaker 2: do that one thing.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:02Speaker 2: And I love when I ask my friends when they
- 10:05Speaker 2: break up, whether it's marriage or divorce or boyfriend, whatever.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And I say, when was that moment? Like, you know
- 10:11Speaker 2: how people say I have a rock bottom moment when
- 10:12Speaker 2: I had to get up alcohol? Yeah. Women will have
- 10:16Speaker 2: that moment.
- 10:17Speaker 4: I remember hearing this from several women.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Where all of a sudden it's just, I got turned
- 10:22Speaker 2: off and I could not get turned back on. And
- 10:27Speaker 2: I think she's still into it.
- 10:28Speaker 4: And it's a weird thing. It could be like the
- 10:30Speaker 4: way they eat or something.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It could be this singing thing, but she's going to
- 10:33Speaker 2: let it go because she's on a private jet to
- 10:35Speaker 2: see her in Australia.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yeah, she's heading to Australia.
- 10:37Speaker 2: And I think she's still, and here's the thing, whether
- 10:40Speaker 2: you're Tessa Ressa.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Tessa Ressa, yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Tessa Ressa.
- 10:44Speaker 4: From TikTok.
- 10:45Speaker 3: TikTok.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Or Taylor, no woman when she's been that in love
- 10:50Speaker 2: and that and wants to get rid and start from
- 10:54Speaker 2: scratch if she if she thinks there's any hope. Right.
- 10:56Speaker 2: So she'll kind of tell herself. And I think she's like, oh,
- 10:59Speaker 2: my God, he's coming. This is going to be fun.
- 11:00Speaker 2: This is going to be fun.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Right.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Something's going to happen. This is what will break them
- 11:06Speaker 2: up if they don't get engaged in May.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 11:09Speaker 4: So I may. So the same.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Because Diablo Cody was on and she believes it's May
- 11:13Speaker 2: because her tour is in Paris and she thinks he's
- 11:16Speaker 2: basic and would ask her in Paris.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Oh, not a bad angle.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Totally great angle. So I said, I'm going to take
- 11:22Speaker 2: your angle, but I'll give you credit.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 2: That's what writers do to other writers. Sure, sure. They
- 11:26Speaker 2: don't just steal.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Yes, of course. Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 2: The Oscar winner in me.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So anyway, so I think that something's going to happen
- 11:37Speaker 2: at his show. He's going to bring too many people
- 11:39Speaker 2: in the green room. Oh, that's a bad one. He's
- 11:43Speaker 2: going to say I want to come out. He's going
- 11:46Speaker 2: to want to try to do more singing. Now, if
- 11:48Speaker 2: that doesn't happen and they go get married, my next
- 11:52Speaker 2: fear is that they have a couple kids. That's not
- 11:56Speaker 2: a fear of mine. Have a couple kids. Things die down.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Things die down. And then whatever version of a talk
- 12:01Speaker 2: show is five years from now. Right. She has something
- 12:05Speaker 2: like that.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 12:06Speaker 2: But it's with him.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Oh, well, that's way down the line.
- 12:10Speaker 2: That's terrifying.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:11Speaker 2: That can never happen. Or they start doing any kind
- 12:16Speaker 2: of songs together.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Then never. She's too smart for that. Okay. I don't
- 12:20Speaker 4: think she'd ever go down that road. I don't think so.
- 12:23Speaker 2: But a lot of people like to please their man.
- 12:25Speaker 2: As someone who's been married a long time.
- 12:26Speaker 4: When I say this about this relationship, I'll say two
- 12:28Speaker 4: things about this relationship. A, I was wrong about it.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I thought it was going to be short-lived, and I
- 12:34Speaker 4: thought it was more hype for whatever.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I thought it was just hype. Um, so I think
- 12:39Speaker 4: there is something real about it. I, I do believe that.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I also, I also think that it's strange to me
- 12:45Speaker 4: that nobody's really mentioning how short, like we're all like,
- 12:49Speaker 4: they're going to get married. I'm like, Hey, everybody, they've
- 12:51Speaker 4: been going out for three months or something.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Not even that. I mean, everybody on earth, a little
- 12:55Speaker 2: longer than that. Everybody on earth, especially Tessa Ressa would
- 12:59Speaker 2: tell you. You got to go through a whole year
- 13:02Speaker 2: before engagement.
- 13:03Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 13:04Speaker 2: At least one year. Go through holidays.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Go through a distance of some sort. Someone had to
- 13:09Speaker 2: go work. Someone had to da-da-da. The amount of COVID breakups,
- 13:13Speaker 2: that being one of them, the COVID thing. So this
- 13:16Speaker 2: is not COVID, but like there's all these little factors,
- 13:20Speaker 2: you know, and also like the football player that, you know,
- 13:24Speaker 2: no longer plays.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 2: But she's also on a timeline in that she's like 33. Mm-hmm.
- 13:31Speaker 2: And she's probably itching to like wrap up this for
- 13:33Speaker 2: a while, at least pop out one kid. And I
- 13:35Speaker 2: think she wants to be married when she does that.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Right.
- 13:39Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I'll tell you this. I don't know if they've done
- 13:42Speaker 4: it yet, but I think of a good test and
- 13:45Speaker 4: a strong test for any relationship is a long car ride,
- 13:49Speaker 4: four or five hour car ride. You'll learn a lot
- 13:52Speaker 4: in a car ride. You learn about sneezing, like how
- 13:56Speaker 4: loud it is. you know, just different things like that.
- 13:59Speaker 2: And also the kids today have it easier because they
- 14:01Speaker 2: have GPS. I mean, the back of my, in our
- 14:04Speaker 2: parents' day with screaming out my mother and the map,
- 14:08Speaker 2: the missing and off ramp.
- 14:09Speaker 4: Yeah, or just had nothing.
- 14:10Speaker 2: One time my mom, they were so lost and she
- 14:15Speaker 2: went into a place to ask for directions. And then
- 14:19Speaker 2: she came out and she goes, oh, can you just
- 14:20Speaker 2: tell my husband? And the guy came out and he
- 14:23Speaker 2: had like, I don't know. He had like a speech
- 14:27Speaker 2: impediment or something.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Right.
- 14:28Speaker 2: And could not. And she just at that point was
- 14:30Speaker 2: just like, I'm just going to play a prank on
- 14:32Speaker 2: your father because like we're never going to find out
- 14:34Speaker 2: where we're going. And, you know, my dad's like, oh,
- 14:37Speaker 2: like trying to be polite. Then I'm like, God damn it.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Like I just.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah. And they lasted.
- 14:44Speaker 4: They lasted. But I'm saying you could learn a lot
- 14:46Speaker 4: from a five hour car ride.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying? I think they should take
- 14:50Speaker 4: a car ride and then see how rosy it all is.
- 14:54Speaker 2: We were on a car ride back from Mammoth to L.A.,
- 14:56Speaker 2: and I've talked about it, and it's when Peter got
- 14:58Speaker 2: McKenzie tickets to Ed Sheeran for Christmas and then realized
- 15:05Speaker 2: that she just didn't go in June. He went on Facebook,
- 15:10Speaker 2: saw all the other dads whose daughters went and all
- 15:14Speaker 2: the other people posting, and she didn't tell him that
- 15:16Speaker 2: she wasn't going to go because, you know, Peter could
- 15:18Speaker 2: have sold those tickets.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Are you fucking kidding me? And we.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Were absolutely hostages, Brandon, Drake, and I, for five hours
- 15:31Speaker 2: about him harping on and me trying to be like,
- 15:34Speaker 2: she never asked for the tickets, Peter. Right. Don't give
- 15:37Speaker 2: someone an experience as a gift unless they have specifically
- 15:40Speaker 2: asked for it.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Don't give me a round trip to a country that
- 15:45Speaker 2: I've never asked to go to. I don't want it.
- 15:47Speaker 4: But you think it's, that sounds nice. I did it
- 15:50Speaker 4: to my wife. I got her tickets to Barry Manilow. Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 4: that's right. Barry Manilow at the forum. She was like,
- 15:57Speaker 4: what is this? I said, this is Barry Manilow. I
- 16:00Speaker 4: love him. Therefore, I'd like to share that with you.
- 16:03Speaker 4: My wife, she was mortified.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Did she go?
- 16:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Oh, she went.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Did she like it when she got there?
- 16:08Speaker 4: Right up front. She was like, who is this old man?
- 16:10Speaker 2: Did she like it in the end?
- 16:11Speaker 1: No.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Well, she liked Copacabana.
- 16:14Speaker 2: She knew that one.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yeah. And otherwise, she was like, this is ludicrous. But
- 16:19Speaker 4: I loved it. I loved it.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Well, we are still traumatized. I would like to file
- 16:24Speaker 2: a lawsuit against Ed Sheeran personally.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Because that was five hours that we'll never get back.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I recorded it.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 2: And I recently found it and played it and we
- 16:34Speaker 2: were rolling, laughing, laughing, laughing. Like you just see my leg.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 2: And I'm just like, it's just like, no, I don't understand.
- 16:42Speaker 2: You know, you do something nice for someone. Why wouldn't
- 16:46Speaker 2: she tell us? I'm like, because we've never gone through
- 16:49Speaker 2: this before. Now she knows if she gets something and
- 16:51Speaker 2: she's not going to go to a concert. to sell
- 16:53Speaker 2: them yourself or give them back to the person you get,
- 16:55Speaker 2: which you didn't know.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Anytime you get.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Mad at your kid, You can't get mad at them
- 17:00Speaker 2: for certain things if you never taught them what to
- 17:03Speaker 2: do in this scenario, what to do when the car,
- 17:06Speaker 2: when this happens with the car, have we gone through
- 17:08Speaker 2: and said what to do, what not to do. And
- 17:11Speaker 2: if I have not taught them that lesson, I cannot
- 17:14Speaker 2: be mad that they didn't know what to do.
- 17:15Speaker 4: And also giving like concert tickets to somebody, that's like
- 17:17Speaker 4: giving them like, there's a big night. You got to
- 17:20Speaker 4: get up. You got to go out. You got to
- 17:22Speaker 4: get ready. That's the thing.
- 17:23Speaker 2: She couldn't find anybody that wanted, she was in college.
- 17:25Speaker 2: She couldn't find anyone that wanted to go with her
- 17:27Speaker 2: from Long Beach State to the Donner Stadium. Right. And
- 17:30Speaker 2: she wasn't that into it. And so she was just like,
- 17:32Speaker 2: fuck it. It's not costing me anything.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:34Speaker 2: She didn't think about it.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 2: She just stayed in her dorm. She wasn't doing heroin.
- 17:38Speaker 5: No.
- 17:38Speaker 2: She wasn't, you know, she wasn't doing anything bad.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 17:40Speaker 2: She just didn't go to the fucking concert.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Okay. Oh, boy. AI is everywhere, but ROI isn't.
- 17:49Speaker 3: At PWC, we turn AI into advantage so you can
- 17:53Speaker 3: see results, not hype. Move from potential to performance at pwc.ie.
- 17:58Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 18:04Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 18:07Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks. and yet somehow have found a
- 18:11Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 18:17Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 18:19Speaker 4: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 18:22Speaker 4: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 18:24Speaker 4: was given back?
- 18:25Speaker 5: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 18:28Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 18:30Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 18:32Speaker 4: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 18:34Speaker 4: started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 18:38Speaker 5: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 18:41Speaker 5: go through.
- 18:42Speaker 4: It's about what happens next.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 18:45Speaker 4: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 18:47Speaker 2: You're worth the work.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Listen, Dar, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 18:50Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 18:52Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 19:06Speaker 2: Also, this kid, he's a junior.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:08Speaker 2: And he started posting about her private jet and where
- 19:13Speaker 2: it's going and tracking her jet.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 2: She sent him, her people sent him a cease and desist.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Which I agree with.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yes, but then legally he's not doing anything wrong.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Okay, yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I agree that morally and socially, dude, you're a weirdo.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And there's a lot of things that could go wrong
- 19:30Speaker 2: with this. Think about not just her. Think about like
- 19:33Speaker 2: crazy teenage fans that may be like, sneak onto the
- 19:37Speaker 2: runway or something.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Because they're that crazy and then possibly get hurt. That
- 19:42Speaker 2: is why I think you shouldn't be doing it.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 2: But I guess this is like a way it's public
- 19:47Speaker 2: record if you want it and therefore he's not really
- 19:50Speaker 2: breaking the law.
- 19:51Speaker 4: And now are the Swifties going, they must be killing
- 19:53Speaker 4: this kid. They, I mean, they got his name and
- 19:55Speaker 4: his picture. They don't, they go after everybody. The Swifties.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I mean, what do they really do? I have never
- 20:00Speaker 2: heard about Swifties showing up at someone's house.
- 20:02Speaker 4: They just write things about, well, But they attack, you know,
- 20:06Speaker 4: they're young girls, so they attack things that you are
- 20:08Speaker 4: really sensitive about. They'll be like, you have smoke.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Well, I guess Taylor's new album is about the last
- 20:13Speaker 2: boyfriend before Travis.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 2: And he's like getting, he's prepared. It's like, it's like getting,
- 20:18Speaker 2: going to a bomb shelter. Yeah. I guess it's turned
- 20:21Speaker 2: off comments.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:23Speaker 2: On Instagram. He's getting all prepared for what is going
- 20:26Speaker 2: to happen with this song, Dead Poets Society, whatever it's called.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, do you know the latest with Meghan Markle,
- 20:33Speaker 2: your former co-worker?
- 20:34Speaker 4: My former co-worker, yes.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Well, they're trying to make life work, okay?
- 20:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 2: For one thing, they don't like to spend their own money,
- 20:44Speaker 2: and people are upset that they go on everyone else's
- 20:47Speaker 2: private jet.
- 20:48Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I don't know why you're upset. If you have a
- 20:50Speaker 2: friend with a private jet, and they're impressed with you,
- 20:53Speaker 2: and they want to, say, hop on or lend it
- 20:55Speaker 2: to you because you're the prince and princess or whatever—
- 20:58Speaker 2: Don't you, who don't have access to a private jet,
- 21:01Speaker 2: be mad that they're moochers?
- 21:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 2: If the people are going to let them mooch, let
- 21:04Speaker 2: them mooch. Can you blame them? So there's that. And
- 21:08Speaker 2: now they're going back to using the Sussex name, which
- 21:11Speaker 2: they're not supposed to use.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They're supposed to use whatever Prince Philip's last name is,
- 21:16Speaker 2: which I don't even know what it is.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Because that is Charles' dad.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's like my kids, if they wanted to live in
- 21:25Speaker 2: the palace of McDonaldland. Sure. They would be called, you know,
- 21:29Speaker 2: the heir and the spare, McDonald, you know, prince of
- 21:33Speaker 2: McDonald land and prince of McDonald Lee or whatever. But
- 21:37Speaker 2: then if they married a couple of bitches and I
- 21:39Speaker 2: cut them out, they just would have to be Brandon
- 21:41Speaker 2: and Drake Tobias.
- 21:42Speaker 4: That's it.
- 21:43Speaker 2: But they're going back to the Sussex and they're putting
- 21:45Speaker 2: it on their website and everything. And they're like, oh,
- 21:47Speaker 2: my God, the queen would be angry and Philip would
- 21:49Speaker 2: be angry. And, you know, but look. She just got
- 21:53Speaker 2: another podcast deal.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Yeah, over at Tangerine or something.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Lemonada.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Lemonada, yeah.
- 22:00Speaker 2: And here's the thing. What I already gave my prediction
- 22:05Speaker 2: of what I think the show will be. It is
- 22:07Speaker 2: not going to be me talking to amazing women because
- 22:10Speaker 2: nobody cared.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Nobody cared? No, that's what I, exactly. Nobody cares about.
- 22:14Speaker 2: It is going to be.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Somebody bringing rice to a country, you know, because they
- 22:18Speaker 4: need it. And then they talk about that to Gail or.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Oprah or somebody.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I give her 10 episodes.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Is she going to be fun or no?
- 22:28Speaker 2: 10 episodes before she starts referencing Housewives or like a
- 22:34Speaker 2: Vanderpump Rules or some type of pop culture something. They're
- 22:40Speaker 2: going to be like, let's get your take on pop culture.
- 22:42Speaker 2: They're going to do something that's light.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 22:44Speaker 2: It's going to start out not as hard, but it
- 22:47Speaker 2: is going to be like a fitness girl. How to
- 22:49Speaker 2: get your mommy body back It's going to be stuff
- 22:52Speaker 2: like that.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And then it's going to be eventually like, hey, you
- 22:57Speaker 2: got to talk about stars or something.
- 22:59Speaker 4: She's also in a tricky situation because, I mean, she's
- 23:02Speaker 4: just so under a microscope that she can't say anything
- 23:04Speaker 4: mean or anything about anybody. So that's tough. And, I mean,
- 23:09Speaker 4: I'm not kidding when I say this, and I'm half
- 23:12Speaker 4: kidding kind of, but honestly, as an ex-coworker of hers
- 23:16Speaker 4: who worked in a restaurant and folded napkins and rolled
- 23:19Speaker 4: silverware with her, She should have me as a guest.
- 23:21Speaker 4: It would make her look like she's normal. It would
- 23:24Speaker 4: make her look. You're so right. Yes, exactly. Like we
- 23:26Speaker 4: talk about the days of.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Lemonada, a producer who's I'm sure listening to Juicy Soup
- 23:30Speaker 2: right now.
- 23:30Speaker 4: The days of working in a restaurant together on Sunset Boulevard.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Remember when she did that thing with Oprah? All anyone
- 23:35Speaker 4: talked about was she said, I worked at Humphrey Yogurt.
- 23:38Speaker 4: That was the most, the one clip people took from
- 23:41Speaker 4: that interview.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And you know, and you guys know I worked at Hugna's.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:46Speaker 4: You did?
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yes, I did. On Ventura, right in Tarzana.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:51Speaker 2: In a square right by your house.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Okay. That's where I am. Don't tell people I lived
- 23:56Speaker 4: over there. Yeah. I always think about that when I
- 23:58Speaker 4: get the ice cream.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Swiss Almond Fudge, hardest ice cream to scoop. Yeah. And
- 24:02Speaker 2: if somebody came in saying, I would like you to
- 24:05Speaker 2: pack it, it was a real classy thing if you
- 24:07Speaker 2: went to Hagenau's and said, I want you to fresh
- 24:10Speaker 2: pack me a quart.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Because I think back then you couldn't buy it in
- 24:13Speaker 2: the stores. It was like a real thing, Haagen-Dazs.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I think so. It was like the classy.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 2: And some old people would come in and be like, $ 1.
- 24:20Speaker 4: 25 a scope. What the fuck is this?
- 24:22Speaker 2: We're going to thrifties, you know? But I would be like,
- 24:26Speaker 2: if they asked for, I'm going to die. I'm going
- 24:31Speaker 2: to die. I'd be like sweating.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a tough one. I know. It is sweat.
- 24:36Speaker 2: But yeah, that whole thing of- Have me on.
- 24:39Speaker 4: We'll talk about rolling silverware. It'll make you look normal.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:42Speaker 4: It'll bring you down to earth. It'll be cute. And
- 24:44Speaker 4: I'll be happy to do it. I won't take any
- 24:47Speaker 4: cheap shots.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I think it's a great... Okay, hold on. You're welcome,
- 24:51Speaker 2: Meghan Markle.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I won't wear my hat.
- 24:54Speaker 2: This is what she needs to do.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I don't know if her ego is low enough for it.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I don't know if she's hit the new Meghan Markle,
- 25:02Speaker 2: like I'm the new Heather.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Humble, humble. Humble.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Humble, humble.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Like, hey, I was ugly. I get it.
- 25:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 25:09Speaker 2: But if she does a series of like, who is Megan?
- 25:14Speaker 2: Because so many people are like, but see, I don't
- 25:16Speaker 2: think she will.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Because there are so many things that she's fubbed on
- 25:19Speaker 2: and I don't think she wants people fact checking. But
- 25:22Speaker 2: if she really does have a teacher that adored her
- 25:25Speaker 2: in high school, things like that.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Come with some fun stories and some memories of me.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Let me see if I remember it. If we did
- 25:33Speaker 2: that where we start to forget all.
- 25:37Speaker 2: The pretentious shit that she's done for the last five years.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And we start to just like her as a cool mom.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Which I think that she has that ability, I think.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Then from there, she gets her authenticity back. We start
- 25:49Speaker 2: to like her. And as a pretty, fashionable, well-spoken, educated mom,
- 25:57Speaker 2: she will be able to do whatever she wants. She'll
- 25:59Speaker 2: be able to, she'll sell shit. She'll be able to do,
- 26:01Speaker 2: she'll be able to have a design show. Whatever she
- 26:04Speaker 2: wants to do, once she regains her, like America liking
- 26:08Speaker 2: her as like.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Hey, I just- Gotta be a little self-deprecating about like
- 26:12Speaker 4: the acting days, the suitcase, you know, the deal or
- 26:15Speaker 4: no deal suitcase era.
- 26:16Speaker 2: But she wasn't authentic about that. When she talked about that,
- 26:18Speaker 2: she- No.
- 26:19Speaker 4: But I'm saying now, but now you talk about going
- 26:20Speaker 4: on auditions.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Now she has to go back. She auditioned a million
- 26:23Speaker 2: things before Suits and things like that. Well, speaking of auditions,
- 26:25Speaker 2: you said there was an article that we were going
- 26:26Speaker 2: to talk about. And I saw it too, how they
- 26:28Speaker 2: were saying actors now are really struggling since Strike is over,
- 26:31Speaker 2: but there's like no real pilot season. This always used
- 26:34Speaker 2: to be traditionally- The springtime was the pilot time.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Because there were three networks. There were three networks. Everything
- 26:40Speaker 4: was coming out in the fall.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And they would choose which ones they're going to film
- 26:44Speaker 2: in April. They would choose that in January. So February,
- 26:49Speaker 2: March is when you would try to book a pilot. And,
- 26:52Speaker 2: you know, Leah Remini would have five to choose from. And, oh,
- 26:55Speaker 2: my God. And, you know, and, oh, geez.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 2: And then you would shoot that in, like, April or
- 27:01Speaker 2: May or something. Yeah. And then they would review them all.
- 27:04Speaker 2: And by early July or June, they would decide this
- 27:08Speaker 2: is the fall lineup. But now with all the different
- 27:12Speaker 2: streamers and everything, there isn't really like a traditional pilot season. No.
- 27:16Speaker 4: And I guess there's not many roles. I mean, which
- 27:19Speaker 4: I don't know how. I feel like there's more TV
- 27:22Speaker 4: shows than there's ever been. But I guess there's not
- 27:25Speaker 4: a lot of recurring parts on these things or whatever.
- 27:29Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm just so happy I'm not in that
- 27:32Speaker 4: world anymore. Like if I had to be counting on
- 27:36Speaker 4: an audition.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Or a part.
- 27:38Speaker 4: What a nightmare. I mean, thank God.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I get so nervous.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Trying to find the parking.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Oh God, that was the worst.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I just thought this was a very funny headline from
- 27:50Speaker 2: Daily Mail. exclusive, how Kanye's marriage to Bianca was saved
- 27:55Speaker 2: after hanging on by a thread. And the photos they
- 27:58Speaker 2: choose are him with the hockey mask and then also
- 28:00Speaker 2: him with a other mask on his face, leather jacket, gloves,
- 28:04Speaker 2: her dress and her weird outfit. And I'm like, hanging
- 28:07Speaker 2: by a thread? I don't even really care about these
- 28:10Speaker 2: people anymore. I've said what I've said. I think she's
- 28:12Speaker 2: in on it. I think she's getting paid monthly to
- 28:13Speaker 2: be with him.
- 28:14Speaker 4: I think it's something like that, too. The guy who
- 28:17Speaker 4: played Jason... The actor who played Jason Voorhees in the
- 28:20Speaker 4: Friday the 13th movie said his mask does not fit right.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Did he really?
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yes, he did. And he said he'll give him, he
- 28:26Speaker 4: has a better one that'll fit him better.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I had a Juicy Scooper that said, a lot of
- 28:31Speaker 2: people think it's performance art.
- 28:33Speaker 4: That's what I said.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Where he's kind of mocking her. Yeah. But Juicy Scooper
- 28:38Speaker 2: was watching a 40-year-old virgin the other day.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:44Speaker 2: And there's a scene in the movie where the girl
- 28:46Speaker 2: pops out of the bed. And she puts the exact
- 28:50Speaker 2: same purple pillow on her to cover her body.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 28:54Speaker 2: And I swear to God, he must have seen that
- 28:55Speaker 2: movie recently. Because the purple pillow is exactly the same
- 29:00Speaker 2: color purple, the exact same size.
- 29:03Speaker 4: But what's with the new teeth? He's got like a
- 29:05Speaker 4: toaster in his mouth now. It's just titanium or something.
- 29:08Speaker 2: He has titanium, but they're not shaped teeth. And then
- 29:11Speaker 2: also he had some weird thing.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Yeah, like a big blister on his lip or something.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he had a blister, like a... It didn't look
- 29:16Speaker 2: like herpes. It didn't look like a piercing. It just
- 29:19Speaker 2: looked like something weird. And then, of course, people think
- 29:21Speaker 2: that it's not even him.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Yeah, because he has the sock over his face. That
- 29:24Speaker 4: he's with.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Shelly Miskovich somewhere.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I mean, those TMZ people interview him and sit there.
- 29:33Speaker 4: I mean, they don't crack a smile when he's screaming
- 29:35Speaker 4: at them through the sock or whatever's on his face.
- 29:37Speaker 2: You're like, how could you not be laughing?
- 29:39Speaker 1: I know.
- 29:39Speaker 4: How could you not? laugh at this? But whatever. I mean,
- 29:42Speaker 4: it's just, who knows?
- 29:43Speaker 2: Okay, you hear about this fish. It was in an aquarium.
- 29:47Speaker 2: What kind of fish is that?
- 29:48Speaker 4: I think it's a stingray.
- 29:50Speaker 2: I've read it's a stingray. She got knocked up.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Yeah, she's pregnant.
- 29:53Speaker 2: With no stingray in sight. There is a shark there,
- 29:57Speaker 2: like a little small shark. And they found shark bites
- 30:00Speaker 2: on her for when he tried to go down on her,
- 30:02Speaker 2: I guess.
- 30:02Speaker 4: And no, they say that's what sharks mate. I guess
- 30:04Speaker 4: when they mate, they bite you. You know, some people
- 30:07Speaker 4: do that.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I mean, when I hear about how like everybody's having
- 30:11Speaker 2: sex now and they have to be choked and bitten. Oh,
- 30:15Speaker 2: sounds awful.
- 30:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:17Speaker 2: There's that song. I don't want to choke you, baby.
- 30:20Speaker 2: But I don't know. I listen to, when I'm with Brandon,
- 30:23Speaker 2: I have to hear all the songs.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Like the Hot Today?
- 30:26Speaker 2: That are not censored for Kiss FM.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Oh, is that right?
- 30:30Speaker 2: And every time I go, oh, oh, she's like, have
- 30:35Speaker 2: you heard you speak? Like, shut up, mom. And I go, okay,
- 30:38Speaker 2: you're right.
- 30:38Speaker 4: I guess so. What about that one that goes, you
- 30:40Speaker 4: think you're the shit, you're not even a fart.
- 30:42Speaker 2: No, that's kind of funny, though.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Yeah. You think you're the shit, but you're not even
- 30:46Speaker 4: a fart. That's a big hit right now.
- 30:48Speaker 2: By the way.
- 30:49Speaker 4: It's that girl with the red hair who was with
- 30:50Speaker 4: Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Apparently she did some devil sign at the game.
- 30:54Speaker 4: What? How dare she?
- 30:58Speaker 2: She went like, wait, she went like this or something. Oh.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:04Speaker 2: I don't know what that means.
- 31:05Speaker 4: No, don't do it right now.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I don't know what that means.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I felt like she was all of us at
- 31:11Speaker 4: the Super Bowl.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Because it didn't look like she knew anything about football
- 31:16Speaker 4: just by looking, seeing the reactions of her. And I
- 31:19Speaker 4: feel like also it's one of those things where Taylor
- 31:21Speaker 4: Swift called, and she probably had the best plans, like
- 31:23Speaker 4: do nothing on Super Bowl Sunday. And when Taylor Swift
- 31:26Speaker 4: was like, come on, guys. She's like, oh, I got
- 31:29Speaker 4: to go. It's Taylor Swift.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 31:30Speaker 4: It's a whole ordeal now. And she just had to go.
- 31:34Speaker 4: We've all gotten that phone call, you know? Usually it's
- 31:37Speaker 4: an Ed Sheeran concert, probably. Something I, now I got
- 31:40Speaker 4: to do this.
- 31:41Speaker 2: There's times where I've said no and I do regret it.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Yeah. Regret what?
- 31:46Speaker 2: There's times very rarely. I know you think I've never
- 31:49Speaker 2: turned down anything.
- 31:49Speaker 4: I can't believe you've ever turned down anything.
- 31:51Speaker 5: Okay.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I'll tell you one time I turned down something that.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Yeah. Anything I've asked you to do.
- 31:57Speaker 2: That one brunch.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:59Speaker 4: It was lovely.
- 32:00Speaker 2: That's it.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Okay. That's true.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Towards the end of Chelsea Lately, she was performing at
- 32:06Speaker 2: the Forum. And we could all go if we wanted.
- 32:09Speaker 4: Taylor Swift?
- 32:10Speaker 2: No, Chelsea.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Oh, Chelsea, yes.
- 32:11Speaker 2: And we could all go if we wanted.
- 32:13Speaker 4: I went.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And I just was so, it just hit me on
- 32:18Speaker 2: a weekend thing. It hit me like that week. And
- 32:21Speaker 2: just the thought of going all the way from Woodland
- 32:23Speaker 2: Hills to the Forum.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 32:26Speaker 2: I just said, I'm just not, I'm going to pass.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:29Speaker 2: So dumb of me. Like every Hollywood star was there.
- 32:32Speaker 2: It was like the last party, the last shebang.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:36Speaker 4: It was a good one.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Do you think I don't know that? I have regrets
- 32:39Speaker 2: from eight years later.
- 32:40Speaker 4: I remember I brought some girl and I got a
- 32:42Speaker 4: weird swinger vibe from people that night where they were like.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Down to swing?
- 32:47Speaker 4: Yeah. They were like asking me like, what's her deal?
- 32:49Speaker 4: She's not your girlfriend. I was like, no.
- 32:51Speaker 2: I have a swinging story for you.
- 32:52Speaker 4: And it was, yeah, I was getting a, you probably
- 32:54Speaker 4: know the people I'm talking about, but I definitely got
- 32:57Speaker 4: a swinger vibe. Oh, you definitely know them, but I'm
- 32:59Speaker 4: not going to say their names, but I'm going to,
- 33:01Speaker 4: I'll tell you after the show.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:03Speaker 4: But I definitely got a swinger vibe from them that
- 33:06Speaker 4: night with this girl.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Well, watch out who you publicly, good thing you didn't
- 33:09Speaker 2: say their name, point out about being swingers.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Because this New York City teacher bizarrely bragged about sex
- 33:16Speaker 2: lives of swinging parents. So she went on social media
- 33:19Speaker 2: and she was like, I have the coolest parents at
- 33:21Speaker 2: my school. They're swingers. And people were like, wait a minute. Like,
- 33:25Speaker 2: we clearly know what school you're at. And why does
- 33:28Speaker 2: that make them cool if they're swingers? But again, like.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I really do think in this day and age where
- 33:34Speaker 2: not only does everyone have social media, but everyone has
- 33:36Speaker 2: a podcast.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Right.
- 33:37Speaker 2: You think just because you're not saying the person's name
- 33:41Speaker 2: or you're not showing your child on, you know. Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 2: But to talk about your kid and the kid's school
- 33:48Speaker 2: and stuff, like you're kind of fucking it up for
- 33:49Speaker 2: your kid.
- 33:50Speaker 4: I know.
- 33:51Speaker 2: And if you're the teacher, you're fucking it up for
- 33:52Speaker 2: those people. But like, yeah, you're screwing it up for
- 33:54Speaker 2: your kid. Because if you're like, go to a kid,
- 33:56Speaker 2: you know, I don't know. It's just, you got to
- 33:59Speaker 2: be careful about the swinging. But I mean, I don't
- 34:02Speaker 2: know if she got fired or what, but she did.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Speaking of people that got fired from being teachers, wait,
- 34:07Speaker 2: I'm going to skip over to this one.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Oh, Rachel Dolezal. Remember her?
- 34:11Speaker 2: So Rachel Dolezal. How do you say her last name?
- 34:13Speaker 4: Dolezal?
- 34:14Speaker 2: Dolezal.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Dolezal?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Dolezal.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:17Speaker 2: She was the famous girl who said, was hired at
- 34:23Speaker 2: the NAACP. Yeah.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Of a certain chapter.
- 34:27Speaker 2: As a black woman, as president.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 2: And I can't remember how it was discovered. It's like
- 34:34Speaker 2: we recently discovered how Hilaria was discovered of not really
- 34:37Speaker 2: being Spanish, Hilaria Baldwin. But it was discovered that, I
- 34:41Speaker 2: want to say her parents like told on her. Her
- 34:43Speaker 2: parents were like, she's not black.
- 34:45Speaker 4: And there was like pictures on Facebook where she's obviously white.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and it all came out that like everybody in
- 34:49Speaker 2: her family was white. There was not one ounce of
- 34:51Speaker 2: black in her. But she was like, identify as black.
- 34:54Speaker 2: She did her hair black. like an African-American style, permed it,
- 34:59Speaker 2: braided it, whatever, probably used a lot of self-tanner. And
- 35:03Speaker 2: she just looks like, she looked like she was mixed.
- 35:04Speaker 2: She did. And so anyway, after that whole scandal, there
- 35:08Speaker 2: was a documentary. She still gets hired because I guess
- 35:11Speaker 2: she had the credentials to be hired as a teacher. Right.
- 35:14Speaker 4: In a different state.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I want to say Tucson, Arizona.
- 35:17Speaker 4: Yeah. It is Tucson.
- 35:18Speaker 2: But, you know, you don't make a lot as a teacher.
- 35:20Speaker 2: So like a lot of teachers and nurses and everybody else,
- 35:23Speaker 2: they get an OnlyFans account. And because of that, they're like,
- 35:26Speaker 2: that goes against our morals. So they fired her for that.
- 35:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:30Speaker 2: I just couldn't believe someone hired her in the first.
- 35:31Speaker 2: After that scandal, would I really want this person? Like,
- 35:36Speaker 2: I don't know. But I guess if you're educated and
- 35:37Speaker 2: you need someone to teach the class, you need someone
- 35:39Speaker 2: to teach the show.
- 35:40Speaker 4: I feel like OnlyFans is, when you say OnlyFans, there
- 35:44Speaker 4: are sexual things on OnlyFans. There's also just people just.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Sitting there cooking. She said, I wish someone would buy
- 35:48Speaker 2: my art. So she had art on there, but I
- 35:50Speaker 2: think she also had sexy stuff.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 35:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Maybe her in lingerie painting or something.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 35:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:57Speaker 4: All right. I'm just curious because you could do full on.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Wasn't it you who told me that your brother follows
- 36:03Speaker 2: somebody that is in a bikini?
- 36:06Speaker 4: She works on cars. Yeah. He was upset about it
- 36:10Speaker 4: because he was spending good money.
- 36:12Speaker 2: And what happened?
- 36:13Speaker 4: She wasn't just in a bikini. He thought he was
- 36:14Speaker 4: going to see her working on cars and more like
- 36:17Speaker 4: fully nude.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Oh.
- 36:18Speaker 4: He liked both things. He liked her nude and he
- 36:20Speaker 4: liked car work. And weird. Can you imagine the day
- 36:25Speaker 4: he realized, wait, I could see both of these things
- 36:27Speaker 4: together in one video?
- 36:28Speaker 2: It's like the Reese's Cup. You got your chocolate, my
- 36:31Speaker 2: peanut butter, peanut butter, my chocolate.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Exactly. So he was very excited about it. Spent 10
- 36:35Speaker 4: bucks a month, whatever it was. And, you know, he
- 36:37Speaker 4: got hoodwinked by the fact that she just, she was really,
- 36:40Speaker 4: I don't know if she was actually working on the
- 36:42Speaker 4: cars or just pretending, but she wasn't even in a nude. Bikini.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Amazing. Tinder and Hinge are deliberately turning users into swiping addicts.
- 36:51Speaker 2: People are suing them, saying like, it's made me insane.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Because they're just swiping.
- 36:56Speaker 2: There's something in it that makes you go crazy. But
- 36:58Speaker 2: I'm like, so does Instagram and TikTok.
- 37:00Speaker 4: It's made everybody insane.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Just remove it.
- 37:01Speaker 4: We're all insane from it.
- 37:03Speaker 2: This girl got arrested. This is like not a new story,
- 37:06Speaker 2: but I just found it. And it's from Inside History.
- 37:09Speaker 2: A woman got arrested after texting a guy 159,000 times
- 37:11Speaker 2: after their first date.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Did you hear about this Netflix doc called Stalker Lover
- 37:21Speaker 2: Killer or Lover Stalker Killer?
- 37:22Speaker 5: No.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Well, unfortunately, I started to watch it. I'm going to,
- 37:26Speaker 2: I'm going to, I'm sorry, spoiler alert, it's been out
- 37:30Speaker 2: for a week and a half.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Of course, when I start watching any true crime, it's
- 37:34Speaker 2: so rare that I don't know a juicy story.
- 37:36Speaker 4: Right.
- 37:37Speaker 2: It's involved passion. And of course, I figured it out
- 37:39Speaker 2: within the first 10 minutes. But this guy, I'll just
- 37:43Speaker 2: say this so you can still enjoy it. So this guy,
- 37:46Speaker 2: who's a mechanic as well, meets this woman. He's divorced
- 37:49Speaker 2: with the kid. And then it doesn't really work out
- 37:54Speaker 2: with her. He meets another woman. And then that woman
- 37:57Speaker 2: immediately starts texting him, acting crazy, whatever. Then she goes
- 38:01Speaker 2: off the grid, but she haunts him forever. Like it's
- 38:04Speaker 2: haunting him for years and doing all these weird things.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Turns out it was never that woman. It was the
- 38:09Speaker 2: original woman. Oh. Well, I did just read it for you.
- 38:12Speaker 2: The original woman. But the whole point is, like, the
- 38:16Speaker 2: obsessive texting after you meet somebody on, like, what is
- 38:22Speaker 2: the protocol? I think it must be so hard. I
- 38:26Speaker 2: have a friend who's back into dating.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Went on a date, liked the guy.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Okay.
- 38:32Speaker 2: He had a good date. He wrote her and said,
- 38:35Speaker 2: I had a really good time tonight. You know, look
- 38:39Speaker 2: forward to seeing you again soon. So she wrote back. agree, um,
- 38:47Speaker 2: something like, so that she wrote like looking forward to, for,
- 38:50Speaker 2: to getting together soon.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Okay.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Well, I mean, now you, there's nothing more she can do, right?
- 38:58Speaker 4: That's it.
- 38:58Speaker 2: You have to put it in the guy's hands. Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: He put out that he did want to, she confirmed
- 39:04Speaker 2: I would too. Is that enough of an indication as
- 39:08Speaker 2: a man? If you like her, you don't need more
- 39:12Speaker 2: than that, correct? No, that's it.
- 39:13Speaker 4: That's all you need.
- 39:14Speaker 2: So that's what women need to hear.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:18Speaker 2: All they need is they need to make the follow-up text.
- 39:22Speaker 2: You need to make it clear, as short as possible,
- 39:24Speaker 2: but clear that you are down to do something again
- 39:27Speaker 2: if they so choose. You should not. then, if you
- 39:31Speaker 2: don't hear from them in two days, go, hey, I
- 39:33Speaker 2: was wondering, what's your week looking like?
- 39:36Speaker 4: No. I mean, it's as simple as that book from
- 39:39Speaker 4: years ago. I'm not that into you.
- 39:42Speaker 2: And the rules.
- 39:42Speaker 4: You've got to leave it in the guy's hands. If
- 39:45Speaker 4: they're into you, they'll let you know.
- 39:48Speaker 2: If they're not, When you had someone then, okay, so
- 39:51Speaker 2: you go on a date. This is back in your
- 39:52Speaker 2: single days.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Oh, my God. Heaven. It was so much fun. Especially
- 39:56Speaker 4: when these came out, these swipey things. I was still
- 40:01Speaker 4: single during those days, early on, the early days.
- 40:02Speaker 2: And you were still a little bit famous.
- 40:04Speaker 4: I know. You didn't think I put my pictures were
- 40:06Speaker 4: all just me with like you, Chelsea Handler. Like that's
- 40:10Speaker 4: all I had.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Nothing makes me happier than when a gay guy- Sends
- 40:13Speaker 2: me a photo or tells me, because you're not supposed
- 40:16Speaker 2: to screen grab stuff, that someone on one of the
- 40:19Speaker 2: gay sites.
- 40:21Speaker 4: Has a picture with you?
- 40:22Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Oh, that's a good one.
- 40:23Speaker 2: As their cred. Yeah. As like their celebrity photo.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 40:26Speaker 2: And I'm like, you need to date that man.
- 40:28Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 40:29Speaker 2: That needs to be your husband.
- 40:31Speaker 5: Wow.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, but those were fun times, you know? I mean,
- 40:34Speaker 4: thank God I don't have to go through that anymore.
- 40:36Speaker 4: And I hope I never do again.
- 40:38Speaker 2: But when, were there times that you, has there ever
- 40:41Speaker 2: been a time?
- 40:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Well, you liked a girl. It was fine. You weren't
- 40:46Speaker 2: totally feeling it. You did the polite, let's get together, whatever.
- 40:51Speaker 2: But then the next morning, maybe there was someone else
- 40:53Speaker 2: that popped up on your phone or, you know. So
- 40:57Speaker 2: you don't reach out again, but then she does.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Oh, a lot.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Okay.
- 41:02Speaker 2: But.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Okay. So let's get into the guy's brain.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:07Speaker 2: So do you go out with them again? And have
- 41:11Speaker 2: you ever then gone, thank God she texted me because
- 41:17Speaker 2: had she not, I would have blown her off. And
- 41:18Speaker 2: because she texted me, we went out and then we
- 41:21Speaker 2: dated for three months.
- 41:22Speaker 4: And it was better the second time, yeah. I can't
- 41:24Speaker 4: think of an incident where that happened. It doesn't happen.
- 41:26Speaker 4: It doesn't happen, no.
- 41:27Speaker 2: I think it's really sad to spell it out for
- 41:29Speaker 2: the ladies.
- 41:30Speaker 4: I think you're either into it or you're not.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I think a girl can convince herself.
- 41:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:34Speaker 2: A girl can convince herself. A girl can see. other qualities.
- 41:38Speaker 2: A girl can, I think a girl can make herself attracted.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 41:44Speaker 2: And see other attractive qualities to the guy if he's
- 41:46Speaker 2: really caring, if he has some money, if he does
- 41:49Speaker 2: something really nice for her. That can be a real
- 41:51Speaker 2: turn on. A guy who comes and like fixes your
- 41:53Speaker 2: car or, you know, something.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Clean sheets, a clean house.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Peter pulled down a whole cabinet himself.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 42:03Speaker 2: And started like redoing stuff in his condo.
- 42:06Speaker 3: What?
- 42:06Speaker 4: For you or just because.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Himself but i heard my mother in my head find
- 42:10Speaker 2: a guy that can fix a few things.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Your father's off okay so yeah so.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Things like that a protective like things wait.
- 42:17Speaker 4: Did he pull down the cabinet but did he put
- 42:19Speaker 4: it back up anyone like.
- 42:20Speaker 2: He pulled it down and realized the place looked better
- 42:23Speaker 2: open oh he didn't need the cabinet and then i
- 42:26Speaker 2: could see that he could do shit okay and i'm
- 42:29Speaker 2: just saying like i think you could be like about
- 42:32Speaker 2: this guy and then God forbid you have a flat
- 42:35Speaker 2: tire or something. And he like shows up and is
- 42:37Speaker 2: like cool about it and classy and like, no, follow me.
- 42:40Speaker 2: And women will say those are the things that like
- 42:42Speaker 2: made them switch and fall in love. Right. But I
- 42:45Speaker 2: feel like guys, it's much more cut and dry. Yeah.
- 42:51Speaker 4: Yeah. I agree with you. I agree with you.
- 42:54Speaker 2: And you know what? I think we're screwed because we
- 42:56Speaker 2: watch all these, we grew up watching all these movies,
- 43:00Speaker 2: these romantic love stories. that 95% of them were written
- 43:05Speaker 2: by men that basically were just good writers who learned
- 43:08Speaker 2: a formula.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And you'd watch it and you're like, but in this movie,
- 43:13Speaker 2: this is what really made the guy fall. It's just
- 43:16Speaker 2: made up. We need to have more movies where it's
- 43:19Speaker 2: just about real couples and how they fell in love
- 43:23Speaker 2: and real stories about how real couples fell in love
- 43:27Speaker 2: and then follow those leads.
- 43:29Speaker 4: The other night we were watching, it was on TBS
- 43:31Speaker 4: or whatever, and we started watching it Pretty Woman. And
- 43:35Speaker 4: it's so funny. I mean, everyone loves that movie.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't get enough, but it's so wrong.
- 43:39Speaker 5: Well, I know.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Richard Gere, if you look at it, every guy's just
- 43:41Speaker 4: a prick. And there's a couple of times where he
- 43:42Speaker 4: shushes her quite a few times.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Well, she's a hooker. Well, I mean, you're bringing a
- 43:48Speaker 2: girl who's on the streets sucking dirty dicks every night.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Right.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Who's only supposed to be like 21. Right. And her
- 43:56Speaker 2: life was over. She left Georgia to come to L.A.?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Because her mom said she was always, she was a
- 44:03Speaker 2: bum finder, a bum within five yards, she finds it.
- 44:05Speaker 4: A bum?
- 44:06Speaker 2: You're 21? What kind of life did you live? The
- 44:09Speaker 2: whole thing was, I mean, obviously, it's like the dumbest.
- 44:11Speaker 4: It was just different times.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Just different times. But it's, again, you wanted to
- 44:15Speaker 2: believe that you could be from nothing.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 44:17Speaker 2: And a fabulous guy, like you could turn a guy
- 44:19Speaker 2: to just fall in love with your brain because here
- 44:22Speaker 2: you are. So it's a brilliant script written by a man.
- 44:24Speaker 2: It's a brilliant script. Now, I just, before we get
- 44:28Speaker 2: into this, I just watched a great movie the other
- 44:31Speaker 2: day with Brandon.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Okay.
- 44:34Speaker 2: I don't know if it popped up for Black History
- 44:36Speaker 2: Month or what, but it popped up and I go,
- 44:38Speaker 2: oh my God, please, we have to watch this movie.
- 44:40Speaker 4: American Fiction.
- 44:41Speaker 2: No. It was, I've not seen that one, I want to.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Pretty good.
- 44:44Speaker 2: No, Boys in the Hood. My God.
- 44:46Speaker 4: Oh, it's great.
- 44:48Speaker 2: That movie is so fucking good. Yeah.
- 44:52Speaker 4: The acting.
- 44:53Speaker 2: And I was like, this is what made Cuba a star.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 4: I mean, crying.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Like, everything. And we were just riveted. And I'm like,
- 45:01Speaker 2: if you have not watched that, and they talk about gentrification.
- 45:05Speaker 4: That scene with Laurence Fishburne. And that neighborhood is now gentrified.
- 45:08Speaker 4: I know.
- 45:09Speaker 2: And I'm like, I never understood. Like, I understood now
- 45:13Speaker 2: what it is, but I didn't understand then. And I
- 45:16Speaker 2: think even when I saw that movie, that part didn't
- 45:18Speaker 2: click to me like it does now.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Yeah. John Singleton. He wrote it. Brilliant.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Just so brilliant.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Anyway, so, okay.
- 45:26Speaker 2: So, Larsa Pippen. Do you know the story behind this?
- 45:29Speaker 2: I do. She was at a comedy club. She broke
- 45:31Speaker 2: up with Marcus Jordan. That's not his name.
- 45:34Speaker 4: What is his name?
- 45:35Speaker 2: Marcus Jordan, yeah.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Who is, what's his name? Jordan's son.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Michael Jordan's son.
- 45:39Speaker 2: It's Michael Jordan's son. And I was just going to say,
- 45:42Speaker 2: you know.
- 45:43Speaker 4: She's Scottie Pippen's ex-wife who played with Michael Jordan on
- 45:46Speaker 4: the Chicago Bulls. They, of course, won a bunch of championships,
- 45:50Speaker 4: but they also have a contentious relationship.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I'm just going to call him Marcus Jordan's dad.
- 45:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Because I think he's more famous than Michael Jordan.
- 45:57Speaker 4: So anyway, Greg Wilson, a comedian, that's him there performing.
- 46:02Speaker 4: I guess it was like he was hired to do
- 46:05Speaker 4: like a roast or something. It was a roast of
- 46:06Speaker 4: somebody at a party and they happened to be at
- 46:08Speaker 4: the party.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Oh, great PR for everybody involved.
- 46:11Speaker 4: And the joke he made was like, you're the first
- 46:15Speaker 4: one to break both Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman. I
- 46:18Speaker 4: love it.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:19Speaker 4: It's a good joke.
- 46:20Speaker 2: There was another thing. Do you know about Donnell Rawlings?
- 46:23Speaker 2: Donnell Rawlings, yeah. He's a big on OnlyFans. And goes
- 46:27Speaker 2: ballistic on Corey Holcomb. Do you know what he went
- 46:30Speaker 2: ballistic over?
- 46:32Speaker 4: Apparently core, this was a little bit of what we
- 46:34Speaker 4: were talking about earlier. It's, it's a little bit of, uh, of,
- 46:37Speaker 4: of repercussions from the, uh, cat Williams interview. Uh, yes.
- 46:41Speaker 4: On apparently cat Williams said, if you've done like two.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Or three black comedy crime. Yes.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Yes.
- 46:46Speaker 4: So it's something like that. Corey Holcomb's big comic and
- 46:49Speaker 4: he was on the last comic standing, but he's huge
- 46:51Speaker 4: in the, in the black comedy world. He sells out everywhere.
- 46:54Speaker 4: People love him.
- 46:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Anyway. Yeah.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Anyway, he, uh, funny, I guess, uh, And Cat Williams
- 47:01Speaker 4: said that if you've done more than three movies in Hollywood,
- 47:04Speaker 4: you've sucked a dick or something. That's what he said
- 47:06Speaker 4: on the Shannon Trump thing. I didn't watch the whole
- 47:07Speaker 4: three hours. And I guess Donald Rawlings was in the
- 47:12Speaker 4: audience of that show. And he said, hey, Corey, I've
- 47:15Speaker 4: done more than three movies in Hollywood. I never sucked
- 47:16Speaker 4: a dick or something. But apparently Corey Holcomb doesn't like
- 47:20Speaker 4: Dave Chappelle. He's Dave Chappelle's guy, Donald Rawlings. And there
- 47:24Speaker 4: was a contention there. Some people are saying Donald Rawlings
- 47:26Speaker 4: has a special coming out next week. And they're loving this.
- 47:30Speaker 4: That's what I'm hearing.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I don't think those things are planned, though.
- 47:32Speaker 4: I don't think it's planned.
- 47:34Speaker 2: No.
- 47:34Speaker 4: You know, I don't know how.
- 47:35Speaker 2: I think there's benefit from sometimes feuds and stuff. But,
- 47:38Speaker 2: I mean, people have thought, like, I've planned feuds, what
- 47:42Speaker 2: I've had, like, feuds with people. I've never planned any feud.
- 47:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I wish. I wish that when I've had problems with
- 47:49Speaker 2: people that it was planned and we all both benefited.
- 47:51Speaker 2: It never has been. So I'm like, I don't think
- 47:53Speaker 2: it's that. But yeah, well, that's kind of good.
- 47:57Speaker 4: Also, I feel like there's a lot of cameras in
- 48:00Speaker 4: comedy clubs these days. Like every two minutes there's another.
- 48:03Speaker 2: I guess, I mean, I know that I think at
- 48:08Speaker 2: Denver Comedy Works.
- 48:09Speaker 4: They put it in a bag.
- 48:10Speaker 2: They have the thing that actually Dave Chappelle started.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Which is you put in a little sack.
- 48:15Speaker 5: Yes, they do.
- 48:15Speaker 2: It's so great, you guys. Put in a little sack.
- 48:17Speaker 2: You keep your phone because I know people have to
- 48:19Speaker 2: with their phone.
- 48:19Speaker 4: But you can't open the sack.
- 48:20Speaker 2: So you can put it on vibrate.
- 48:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:21Speaker 2: So if your nanny is vibrating you.
- 48:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Then by all means, get up and go and check. Yeah.
- 48:29Speaker 2: You're not going to miss an emergency call, but you're
- 48:31Speaker 2: not going to be able to look at your phone.
- 48:32Speaker 2: You're not going to start being able to scroll through Instagram,
- 48:35Speaker 2: be bored. Right. And you're not going to be able
- 48:36Speaker 2: to film the comic.
- 48:38Speaker 4: Yeah. I think comedy works is the last one to
- 48:39Speaker 4: still do it. It's the best thing.
- 48:40Speaker 2: And it's so much, it's so nice, again, for the
- 48:43Speaker 2: audience around you. It's about the other people too. It's
- 48:46Speaker 2: not just about the star, but then, you know, but
- 48:49Speaker 2: then also I feel like comics are blowing up with
- 48:52Speaker 2: their crowd work.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:54Speaker 2: So those people are probably hiring someone to film the
- 48:57Speaker 2: whole set.
- 48:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Just film the whole set. Hopefully I'll have a moment
- 49:00Speaker 2: that I could grab from.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 49:02Speaker 2: So much extra work. I just want to go into
- 49:04Speaker 2: the show.
- 49:05Speaker 4: It's all a lot of work.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I have to like hire someone in the town.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 49:08Speaker 2: But Donna fell.
- 49:09Speaker 4: I saw that.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I watched it and I totally think it was the
- 49:11Speaker 2: dancer's fault. He or she was pulling the chair and
- 49:17Speaker 2: then she fell over. What I've seen from the Madonna concert,
- 49:21Speaker 2: and now again, I think this ruins wanting to go
- 49:23Speaker 2: to the Madonna concert. I feel like I've seen the
- 49:25Speaker 2: whole concert.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Online?
- 49:26Speaker 2: I feel like I've seen all of the Adele concert
- 49:29Speaker 2: and all of Madonna's concert.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Up close, the outfits, the, you know.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 4: Still probably a fun show to go to.
- 49:36Speaker 2: No, it's still a really fun show.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 49:38Speaker 2: People are so mean. Like, don't go. But coming late,
- 49:43Speaker 2: that would bug.
- 49:44Speaker 4: I also read that. Oh, you mean starting the show late.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:47Speaker 4: I also read that Usher, I guess, fell during the
- 49:51Speaker 4: Super Bowl performance. He did a little trip up. And
- 49:54Speaker 4: today he fired the dancer that tripped him up. That's
- 49:56Speaker 4: what I had read just before he came to air. So,
- 49:59Speaker 4: I mean, a lot of times it could be. There's
- 50:01Speaker 4: a lot of dancers out on, you know, that Usher thing.
- 50:04Speaker 4: There was a lot of. I mean, he brought back
- 50:05Speaker 4: rollerblading for a minute. I was, you know, you don't
- 50:08Speaker 4: see anybody doing that anymore. But he did.
- 50:11Speaker 2: I said on my Patreon, you can join at HeatherBertone.net.
- 50:15Speaker 2: I didn't think it was great.
- 50:16Speaker 4: It didn't do anything for me either. But I think
- 50:18Speaker 4: there were.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Lots of better ones.
- 50:19Speaker 4: And I think he started off too slow. It was
- 50:20Speaker 4: too much going on. You can't start off slow.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Too many different outfits. There's no cohesiveness.
- 50:24Speaker 4: I don't blame Usher. I think it was shot poorly.
- 50:26Speaker 4: It was too many close-ups.
- 50:28Speaker 2: I started on the ground.
- 50:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Why is it not starting on a stage?
- 50:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I thought. Or coming out, you got
- 50:32Speaker 4: to do something grand in the beginning. You can't just
- 50:35Speaker 4: walk out to some slow song.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Listen, as two theater kids.
- 50:38Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 50:38Speaker 2: How about stage left? This is Bryce Dallas Howard. Bryce
- 50:45Speaker 2: Dallas Howard. And it's the story and it comes across
- 50:49Speaker 2: where I hear that music. Like this inspirational music as
- 50:54Speaker 2: they do this video and it's her talking and interviews thing. Well,
- 50:58Speaker 2: it was ever, you know, as soon as I was
- 51:00Speaker 2: old enough to be on the floor of whatever casino
- 51:03Speaker 2: or something, I was with my grandmother and my grandmother said,
- 51:06Speaker 2: you know, you have to, the average actress goes on
- 51:09Speaker 2: 64 auditions before she gets a part. And, you know,
- 51:14Speaker 2: and this whole thing of how hard it is. And
- 51:17Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, she's a really good actress. But her
- 51:20Speaker 2: dad is.
- 51:21Speaker 4: Ron Howard.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Ron Howard.
- 51:22Speaker 4: Yeah. And her whole family.
- 51:25Speaker 2: And I also thought about the grandmother. I don't know
- 51:27Speaker 2: if the grandmother was famous, too, but at least she
- 51:29Speaker 2: was an experienced stage mom.
- 51:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 51:31Speaker 2: If she had her kid.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Working it, she— Her grandfather, Rance Howard, is famous.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Oh, he is?
- 51:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. The brother, Cliff— Ron Howard's brother is pretty famous. Like,
- 51:41Speaker 4: they've all been in TV their whole lives.
- 51:42Speaker 2: So, again, I've talked about this. The flex of people
- 51:45Speaker 2: that did not struggle, wanting to have a flex that
- 51:50Speaker 2: at one point they did struggle— Is one of my
- 51:53Speaker 2: favorite things that have come out of TikTok and everything
- 51:55Speaker 2: for the last year.
- 51:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 2: It's like, just shut up.
- 51:59Speaker 4: I know.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Don't, we don't need the inspirational story from you. Like we,
- 52:05Speaker 2: like tell a different story. Like I'm sure there's other
- 52:07Speaker 2: stories about your life that are interesting.
- 52:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 52:09Speaker 2: I'd rather hear about how when you were 10, you
- 52:11Speaker 2: walked out and Ron Howard had all these people in
- 52:14Speaker 2: the backyard. Those are the stories you want to hear
- 52:15Speaker 2: from Nepo babies.
- 52:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:16Speaker 4: I want to hear the Henry Winkler was at the barbecue. Yeah.
- 52:19Speaker 2: And like they said this, they gave you this advice.
- 52:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 52:22Speaker 2: And then they said, look, when I finally went on
- 52:24Speaker 2: the audition.
- 52:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Henry Winkler said, this is how you can cry on cue.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Tell me the secrets. Right. Tell me the secrets that
- 52:31Speaker 2: you learned as a Nepo baby. I don't want to
- 52:33Speaker 2: hear that. Oh, you didn't get every part you went
- 52:35Speaker 2: out on. Therefore, you know. Yeah. You know. You know,
- 52:41Speaker 2: Tori Spelling's dad didn't know she was auditioning. She snuck in. Whatever.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I'm not saying she's lying. I'm saying, okay, whatever. Those
- 52:47Speaker 2: stories we've heard. Come up with something better. I've been
- 52:49Speaker 2: accused of— Nepotism.
- 52:51Speaker 4: When I was an electrician in New York City, local 3IBW.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:55Speaker 4: My father was also local 3IBW.
- 52:57Speaker 2: So you're a nepo-electro?
- 52:59Speaker 4: And me and my brothers all got in at the
- 53:00Speaker 4: same time. And people are like, what is going on here?
- 53:03Speaker 4: How did he get three boys into the union at
- 53:06Speaker 4: the same time?
- 53:07Speaker 2: That's the ultimate nepotism.
- 53:09Speaker 4: And we were. I mean, people would not talk to us. Yeah.
- 53:12Speaker 4: We were in the union.
- 53:13Speaker 2: They're mean.
- 53:13Speaker 4: Local three. I didn't last. They're the worst. I got
- 53:16Speaker 4: into a full-on fight about– that's when I knew I
- 53:18Speaker 4: was going to move to L.A. because I was a
- 53:21Speaker 4: young kid. I was like 19 years old. I didn't know.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Working in the World Trade Center back when that was there.
- 53:26Speaker 2: As an electrician.
- 53:27Speaker 4: As an electrician.
- 53:27Speaker 2: And then on your breaks, you'd dance in the bathroom.
- 53:30Speaker 2: I would. And say, one day.
- 53:31Speaker 4: One day. Oh, I thought about it. And then one
- 53:34Speaker 4: of the older electricians was like, what came first, Hydrox
- 53:37Speaker 4: or Oreos? The cookies? The cookies, yeah.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Oh, I thought this was Hydrox. I thought it was
- 53:42Speaker 2: a chemical question.
- 53:44Speaker 4: Okay, go on. They used to be like a knockoff Oreo.
- 53:47Speaker 4: You remember.
- 53:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:48Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, I don't know. I didn't
- 53:50Speaker 4: even think, I'm not thinking that much about them. They
- 53:53Speaker 4: both seem good. And he's like, yeah, see, that's the
- 53:55Speaker 4: problem with this union. The dumb kids don't know what
- 53:58Speaker 4: came first, Hydrox or Oreos. And I was like, I
- 54:02Speaker 4: was like, I got to get out of this. This
- 54:03Speaker 4: is not for me. Like, this guy is really passionate
- 54:06Speaker 4: about these cookies. And he's like a 60-year-old man. And
- 54:10Speaker 4: it's like 7 o'clock in the morning. That is so.
- 54:12Speaker 2: And I.
- 54:12Speaker 4: Knew, right then I was like, this is, I got
- 54:14Speaker 4: to go to show, get in show business.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Okay, I also saw.
- 54:17Speaker 4: I don't have passion for cookies.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Do you know where the word nepo comes from?
- 54:21Speaker 4: Nepotism.
- 54:22Speaker 2: No, but the nepotism word comes from.
- 54:24Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Allegedly, I saw this. Okay, I did not do the
- 54:27Speaker 2: research myself, but it seemed pretty clear. That it comes from...
- 54:32Speaker 2: From the word Latin, where priests would give their nephews
- 54:38Speaker 2: jobs when they were really their loved children.
- 54:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:42Speaker 2: That they were having sex outside of being celibate priests.
- 54:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 54:46Speaker 2: And they're really their children. So in order to help
- 54:49Speaker 2: their children along, they would give their, but they would
- 54:51Speaker 2: say they were their nephews and they would get, and
- 54:53Speaker 2: so the word nephew and nephew, I don't know.
- 54:55Speaker 4: Okay. That makes sense, I guess.
- 54:57Speaker 2: From the church.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Okay.
- 54:58Speaker 4: I mean, honestly, Nepo isn't, doesn't everybody get their kid
- 55:00Speaker 4: into their business? Of course.
- 55:02Speaker 2: I have no problem with it.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 2: I have no problem, but don't then try to make that. No,
- 55:09Speaker 2: of course you still have to be good. You know,
- 55:11Speaker 2: I always say this about like Tracy Ellis Ross, who
- 55:13Speaker 2: we had our first show job together. She was, she
- 55:16Speaker 2: got jobs after that and she's been in great in
- 55:18Speaker 2: every single one. Yeah. But was her journey to get
- 55:22Speaker 2: an agent William Morris a hell of a lot easier
- 55:25Speaker 2: than mine?
- 55:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Yes, it was. But no one's giving you the job
- 55:28Speaker 2: if you can't deliver.
- 55:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 55:30Speaker 2: But getting to the, in front of the people is
- 55:32Speaker 2: where the nepotism helps.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:34Speaker 2: But Kate Hudson go on her and she is like
- 55:38Speaker 2: a fucking great singer.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:40Speaker 4: I've heard her sing before. I know.
- 55:42Speaker 2: And they're like, And she's really good, like a Stevie
- 55:45Speaker 2: Nicks good. And then they're like, yeah, her mom used
- 55:48Speaker 2: to sing too. And I'm like, I just wonder if, again,
- 55:51Speaker 2: she walked down the steps one day and they're like,
- 55:54Speaker 2: this is little Katie Poo? And all the actors, and
- 55:57Speaker 2: you know, oh, well, let's get her in a movie.
- 55:59Speaker 2: I'm doing something tomorrow. Then they could see she was cute.
- 56:03Speaker 2: She could act, she could this and that. Who knows
- 56:05Speaker 2: if had she not been the nepotism baby of an actor,
- 56:10Speaker 2: Maybe the singing career would have been the thing that
- 56:12Speaker 2: she actually pursued.
- 56:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 4: I mean, yeah.
- 56:16Speaker 2: What's great is that she's young and beautiful. She can
- 56:17Speaker 2: be a singer now.
- 56:18Speaker 4: Some people are just talented. You know, I mean, talented
- 56:21Speaker 4: at this. She probably can't put in an air conditioner,
- 56:23Speaker 4: you know. Right. Some people do shit good.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Some people don't. Not good at everything.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:29Speaker 2: This is, I don't even know the answer to this,
- 56:31Speaker 2: but I just had to talk to you about it.
- 56:33Speaker 2: It said, why Cole Sprouse has not spoken to the
- 56:37Speaker 2: Friends cast since playing David Schwimmer's son? Because life goes on.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Because why should you? I know. You were a guest
- 56:46Speaker 2: star who sat on his lap and did a few scenes,
- 56:49Speaker 2: who came with his mom and the teacher from the
- 56:51Speaker 2: union to make sure that he was getting an education,
- 56:54Speaker 2: and then you left.
- 56:55Speaker 4: He probably hasn't talked to Lisa Kudrow in three years.
- 56:57Speaker 2: If David Schwimmer kept in touch, he would be canceled today.
- 57:00Speaker 4: Right, exactly.
- 57:01Speaker 2: This kid would be doing his own podcast.
- 57:03Speaker 4: He was calling me at midnight.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Cole would be doing his podcast. David Schwimmer and Joey,
- 57:09Speaker 2: you know, used to play hide the ping pong. I
- 57:13Speaker 2: don't want to fucking know that.
- 57:14Speaker 5: No.
- 57:15Speaker 2: They were smart not to keep in touch with this kid.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:17Speaker 2: We're supposed to call him? How's seventh grade? Want to
- 57:21Speaker 2: get together?
- 57:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 2: I mean, amazing. Look, a fan made this for me.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Oh, cute. Barbie. It's my Barbie.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Comes with the earrings.
- 57:32Speaker 4: That's actually a pretty good likeness.
- 57:33Speaker 2: That you can wear for yourself.
- 57:34Speaker 4: I know.
- 57:34Speaker 2: It's so... I don't know how this was done. I'm
- 57:36Speaker 2: going to talk to her. She's a talented little thing.
- 57:39Speaker 2: A woman discovered she was intimate with half siblings after
- 57:43Speaker 2: fertility doctor used his own sperm. So this is one
- 57:48Speaker 2: of those where you go in and then the ego
- 57:50Speaker 2: doctor and then you end up. But that can happen.
- 57:53Speaker 2: That's why you have to buy the whole bunch.
- 57:55Speaker 4: But yeah, you were telling me.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Have you ever were there ever a time in your
- 57:59Speaker 2: career where I thought about whacking off? Wacking off for
- 58:05Speaker 2: sperm money.
- 58:06Speaker 4: No, I've never got it. It's gotten bad. I've had
- 58:08Speaker 4: some low times, but never that low.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Did you ever get blood?
- 58:11Speaker 4: Yes, but not for money. Like the lowest I ever
- 58:14Speaker 4: was was doing those, watching the TV shows before they
- 58:18Speaker 4: came out and giving your, you know, giving your.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Do you remember which one it was about?
- 58:23Speaker 4: I did one. I saw Survivor, the first ever Survivor.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Oh, you did?
- 58:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Okay, so you went to like a conference room.
- 58:32Speaker 4: A little conference room.
- 58:33Speaker 2: You got paid what?
- 58:33Speaker 4: 50? A hundred. Oh, well, okay. That's worth it. Over
- 58:36Speaker 4: in North Hollywood.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Okay. So you watch it with everybody. Yep.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:40Speaker 2: And then there's just like when Che Diaz, do you,
- 58:42Speaker 2: I hope no one was on the other side, like
- 58:43Speaker 2: Che Diaz.
- 58:44Speaker 4: Well, they were. And they tell you that too. They're like,
- 58:46Speaker 4: this glass is, you know, two way or whatever, one way.
- 58:49Speaker 4: And so they're on the other side, just so you know.
- 58:52Speaker 4: And then they'll let you go around, you know, I
- 58:53Speaker 4: wanted a cross section of people, like white guy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
- 58:57Speaker 4: older person, younger person, black person. And, uh, And I was,
- 59:01Speaker 4: I guess, white guy.
- 59:01Speaker 2: How many episodes did you watch?
- 59:03Speaker 4: I watched one. The first Survivor. The back when it was,
- 59:05Speaker 4: you know, that naked guy.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:07Speaker 4: And I remember like, oh, this is going to be good. Like,
- 59:10Speaker 4: this is a good show.
- 59:11Speaker 2: So you said it because you gave it a good review.
- 59:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 4: I gave it a good review. But then I went
- 59:15Speaker 4: through and did a bunch. It's so funny. Like, I
- 59:18Speaker 4: probably did 20 of them throughout my career for a
- 59:20Speaker 4: hundred bucks. And none of them ever went.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Except for that one.
- 59:23Speaker 4: Except for Survivor. It's the only one that went. Otherwise,
- 59:26Speaker 4: everyone was a shit pilot that went nowhere. To show
- 59:29Speaker 4: you how many things they throw away.
- 59:31Speaker 2: There was very few pilots that I ever went out
- 59:34Speaker 2: for that actually made it.
- 59:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Even the pilots I was going out for were like
- 59:39Speaker 2: the bottom of the barrel, even though they were out
- 59:40Speaker 2: like Warner Brothers and stuff.
- 59:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 59:42Speaker 2: But I once got a tape sent to me, like
- 59:47Speaker 2: my parents' house. I think it was totally random. And
- 59:50Speaker 2: they're like, can you watch this pilot? I don't even
- 59:52Speaker 2: think they knew I was in the industry. And tell
- 59:54Speaker 2: us what you think. And I was like, yes, I'd
- 59:56Speaker 2: love to give my opinion. So I put in the
- 59:58Speaker 2: VHS tape and it's Ralph Macchio.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: And Andrew Dice Clay.
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: In like a traditional sitcom setting. Yeah. Three camera shoot.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: And it was brothers or something?
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: It was horrible.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Yeah. It was so bad. And I could not wait
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: to tell the people what I thought of it, of
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: why I thought it was so lame and why the
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: story didn't make sense. And, you know, I was one
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: of those people that was just, you know, being like, well,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: if he doesn't, excuse me, you can't get your license
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: that quickly. You would have to go like, I was
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: always like, you're.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: The one who keeps the afternoon going longer. People just
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: want to get out of there.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: It was just me alone and I wasn't getting paid.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: Cause there was a lot of, anyway, free soda too.
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: That's a, That's how they sold me. He has a
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: bunch of losers doing it.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Have you ever gone out on something that you were like,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I don't care, I didn't get it because that's going
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: to be such a bomb and then it lasted forever?
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Or you blew something off? Saved by the Bell. I
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: was like, I got called back like three times for
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: Saved by the Bell. It was like the first.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Audition I ever had. And so then when you didn't
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: get it, you told yourself, well, that'll never go anywhere.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: I didn't even think about it. I mean, I just,
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: I was auditioning for Screech. I just remember it was
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: just a, getting called back and it was in North
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: Hollywood or whatever. And at the time they had, what's
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: his face? The blonde kid. He still works in a
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: ton of stuff. Is that Ricky Schroeder? No, it's not
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: Ricky Schroeder. I can't think of his name right now.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: But anyway, his picture was on the wall and it
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: had already been cast and the other ones were still off.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I think Mario Lopez was cast too and they were
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: looking for Screech. I mean, looking back on it, look
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: what happened to Dustin Diamond. I mean, he's dead now.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I remember sitting at Warner Brothers. to audition for a
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: show called Townies, which is all these shows that were
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: trying to be like friends.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Right. I vaguely remember that.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: And it was three girls.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: And I was sitting waiting and I'm hearing the cast
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: director talk and it's already been cast.
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: It was Molly Ringwald was the redhead and she goes,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: so we have a redhead, a blonde and a brunette.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: So we have the three and I'm like still going
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: with the lines and I'm like, Yeah. If I had
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: any self-respect, I'd either tell her about it. Like, hey,
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: I understand it's cast. Like, I don't need to waste
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: your time. Is there any guest roles? Like, that's what
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: I would say today.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: But instead I was like, well, what if I, so
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I do it. I then go call my agent. I'm like,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: will you tell them that I'll dye my hair blonde?
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: You know, like any, and then he's like, nobody wants
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: you loser. Like, it was just like, I mean, just
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: like anything that I could do. And then the other
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: thing is I went out Yeah. For American Idol, where
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: the auditions were at Laugh Factory. Oh, to sing? No,
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: to be one of the co-hosts.
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: Oh, that went to.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: And they're like, this is a show. And it's like,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: you've got to kind of rib the people. Like, some
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: are going to be good, some are going to be bad.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: I'm like, what?
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: There was that other comedian, Ryan Seacrest. Right.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: So that's what it was going to be. So they
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: were pairing up people.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Me with a girl, me with a guy, you know,
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: to have two hosts.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Brian Dunkelman, that was his name.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: And they chose Brian Dunkelman. But I remember thinking, this
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: show is never going to make it.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: You know, look at us now. We're doing fine after
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: all the bullshit.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Because you never know. You never know.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: I was at a kid's birthday party yesterday, two days ago, Saturday,
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: at one of these indoor playgrounds. And it was night.
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: We're having a nice time.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: And my daughter's having fun. And at one point, I
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: see a guy come lugging in with a big trunk.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: And he's got big funny pants on and a hat.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: He's an older man.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: He's probably 70. And his hat says, Mr. Silly. And
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: he's got a big trunk. And he says, oh, he's
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: talking to the dad. So he's the entertainment. Where can
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: I set up? He's the entertainment. And he says, I'm
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: listening to him. He goes, I need a megaphone or
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: I need the music turned off. These are the rules.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: And so no problem. We'll get that all taken care of.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: And then he goes into full Mr. Silly, you know?
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: And I'm watching this going, you know what? Mr. Silly
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: didn't come here to be Mr. Silly. He came here
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: to be Andrew McCarthy, you know? He flew. He came
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: here to be Screech. That's what I'm saying. Like, he
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: landed in L.A. to be an actor. And now he
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: probably did a couple of kids' parties. Like, oh, whatever.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Make 250 bucks. It's not a bad gig. But at
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: one point, it's a ball pit. He's performing outside a
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: ball pit. And the kids, you know, you can't, they
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: lose their.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Can't wrangle them all the time.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's doing a good job. My
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: daughter's cracking up. I can't make my daughter laugh at shit. Mr.
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: Silly's killing. My daughter's like dying laughing at everything he said. Anyway,
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: but some of the kids are like, that's got to
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: be the worst. Because there's four-year-olds who love everything you say.
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: And there's also nine-year-olds who are like giving away his tricks.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: And he's getting angry. I could see it.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Mr.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: Silly's like, this bitch is giving away all my tricks. Anyway,
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: then kids start throwing the balls from the ball pit
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: at him. And he's like, he can't break the Mr.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: Silly character.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: But he's furious. He's like, okay, everyone stop throwing the balls.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: You know? Oh, my God. At least I'm not Mr. Silly,
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: you know?
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: No, you're not.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: I never got to here. I'm not Sean Penn, but
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: I'm not Mr.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Silly. No, you're not. All right, Chris, tell us again
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: where they can see you live if they missed it
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: on Thursday.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: This weekend, I'm in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Punchline, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: And then Sunday night, I'm at the DC Improv Sunday night. Franjola.com
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: has everything. I'm coming to Stanford, Connecticut, New York Comedy Club, Stanford, Connecticut.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: And so much more. I mean, there's a lot of shows.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: I got the Tampa Improv again. No, Tampa Side Splitters.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: And then the Improv in Dania Beach. Frangelo.fun. Cover to
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: covers the podcast. Come over and have some fun. Just please.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: That's all I ask.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Thank you, Chris.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: I don't want to be Mr. Silly ever again.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I know. I love it. Of course, HeatherMcDonald.net. Join Patreon.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: See all my dates.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: Back on the road.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Go there.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Back on the road and being very selective. How do you.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: Feel about it?
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: I'm excited.
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: You have new material? Like, what are you doing?
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Of course.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: Are you going to be doing, like, material or Juicy Scoops?
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Yes, I have new stories, new material, stuff that I've
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: not said here or on Patreon. Working on all of that.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: There'll be some Juicy Scoop, like, hot topic stuff.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: And every show will be different. And it's called the
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Juicy Scoop Experience. And you will experience joy and laughter.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: When you come.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: Just one more juicy scoop story that I forgot to
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: tell earlier. That you was talking about friends with private
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: jets earlier in this episode.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Yes. Do you have any?
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: I did. Even before Chelsea Lilley, we knew a guy.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: I don't want to say his name. His name's Wayne.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: But his last name I won't say. But he had
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: a private jet.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: So when you were like actor Chris? Yeah.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: I was a waiter. And we'd fly to Vegas. How
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: did you meet him? He was a customer at the restaurant.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: He was a super nice guy. Still very friendly.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: And Meghan Markle didn't hop on that?
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: No.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: I don't think she was there yet. It was early on.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Anyway, he was still friendly with him to this day. Anyway,
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: he was in prison for a while. Now he's out.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: But you know that guy.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: He was the guy that asked that girl to marry him.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: How do you get that private jet? It was shady business.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: But whatever. He had it.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: And one day we would vanize the airport or pick
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: up the private jets. To go to Vegas.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: We'd go to Vegas. And we're. The flight attendant comes
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: off the plane and she's like, sorry it took so
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: long to get the plane back up and running. But
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: Whitney and Bobby just got off. And she was telling
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: us what the plane looked like. It came from Vegas
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: to Van Nuys Airport.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: And they destroyed it in 40 minutes.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: In 40 minutes. She goes, it was, we had to
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: wash the walls. So sorry you guys had to wait.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Were they puking there?
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Who knows? But she's like, I've never seen anything quite
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: like what Whitney and Bobby did to this plane in
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: 40 minutes. I was like, wow, that's exciting.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: And then, okay, when you then got on Chelsea lately,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: were you still hearing from Wayne?
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: So when did he go to prison?
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: I still hear from him.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: When did he go to prison, though?
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: He was in like a fancy prison for like tax stuff.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: He was like five years, but he's out now.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Oh, and are you friends now?
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I just saw him. He came to my house.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: But he doesn't have a jet.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: He still has, yes, he's back in jet money. He
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: flew Carl, my friend Carl and his wife, they flew,
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: he flew them all to Mexico for his 60th birthday
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: party or something.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you imagine that?
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: I'm not that close to him.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: Yeah. Anyway.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I think it'd be easy to weasel your way up.
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: I could have probably, you know, but I'm not, I
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: don't need that anymore.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Okay, good for you.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Those days are over.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Classic guy.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a classy guy. Okay.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Tell me when I can meet Wayne.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: I will.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: I would like to.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: Know that, Jeff. He would love you, actually. Oh, but
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: he's one of the, he's a gay guy.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Oh, I love that.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: He's a super great guy. But it's a lot, you know.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: He's never off, if you know what I mean. Oh,
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: let me know. Okay, bye-bye.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: Thanks, everyone. The car is beautiful. Where did you end
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: up going for it?
