- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the guardian Angel of Top Radio is here. Curtis
- 0:05Speaker 1: Leewah guest host the Mark Simone Show on seven ten.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Woar well, well this is it last time around that
- 0:18Speaker 2: I'll be substituting here for Mark Simon.
- 0:21Speaker 1: He's back on Monday the fifth. But every time I
- 0:25Speaker 1: come here, I meet alumni from where I used to
- 0:28Speaker 1: be WABC. Is he the board up here crash so
- 0:33Speaker 1: many others who fled like refugees from a station that
- 0:39Speaker 1: has become synonymous now with always blaming Curtis for Zorroonmandami
- 0:45Speaker 1: being the mayor and always bashing Curtis. But anyway, so
- 0:49Speaker 1: is he patronizes me this morning? Oh don't don't do
- 0:54Speaker 1: that to me, please, A very busy New Year's Eve,
- 0:59Speaker 1: very busy New Year's dam. I'm going to get into
- 1:01Speaker 1: it momentarily, by the way, you want to make a
- 1:05Speaker 1: New Year's what a promise elected officials at the MTA
- 1:12Speaker 1: money taking agency, the most inept of the many state
- 1:17Speaker 1: agencies in New York. How about cleaning the subway cars,
- 1:23Speaker 1: the number two, three, and number one that are so
- 1:26Speaker 1: thick with flotsam and jetsam dirt that it was shameful
- 1:34Speaker 1: that I had to explain to tourists who were here
- 1:36Speaker 1: in New York City why we can't clean our subway cars.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I mean filthy dirty. Oh no, but you know our
- 1:44Speaker 1: business here is just to raise the fair and take
- 1:47Speaker 1: more money and provide no service. That's number one, number
- 1:52Speaker 1: two our New Year's resolution from the Sliwa family, we
- 1:57Speaker 1: posted it. You look at all my social network and
- 2:00Speaker 1: just go to act Curtis Lee, it's all there. And
- 2:04Speaker 1: Nancy and I said we want for New Years to
- 2:10Speaker 1: be a time we're all stray and shelter animals will
- 2:15Speaker 1: have a loving home. And there were people who attacked
- 2:19Speaker 1: us for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, haters, man, they hate
- 2:23Speaker 1: animals again. Mahatma Gandhi said, a society that does not
- 2:29Speaker 1: take care of its animals does not take care of
- 2:31Speaker 1: its people. How many homeless and emotionally disturbed persons that
- 2:35Speaker 1: I see today on the way to the studios of
- 2:37Speaker 1: wo or more that I could count on my fingers
- 2:40Speaker 1: and toes. Let that be said, And then the hawk
- 2:46Speaker 1: is talking out there. It's cold. I want to give
- 2:50Speaker 1: a shout out to the Guardian Angels because they were
- 2:53Speaker 1: at Coney Island yesterday for the annual polar Bear plunge.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Thousands on the beach who went running in to the surf,
- 3:04Speaker 1: some of them suffering from exposure. But hey, they were
- 3:09Speaker 1: out there. I gotta tell you that they were not
- 3:14Speaker 1: talking politics. They were saying, the hawk is talking. It
- 3:19Speaker 1: is cold out here, and yet they made the annual plunge. Meantime,
- 3:27Speaker 1: we might as well play from all the sad sack
- 3:31Speaker 1: reports of the inauguration yesterday at City Hall of Zorhan.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You know, ri Em, it's the end of the world
- 3:39Speaker 1: as we know it. Oh, it's over, My god. How
- 3:45Speaker 1: many months of a campaign did we have where Zorhan
- 3:48Speaker 1: was out there every day, every day? Right, He whopped
- 3:54Speaker 1: Cuomo in the primary, he beat me in Cuomo in
- 3:57Speaker 1: the general election. And yet people were shocked because all
- 4:03Speaker 1: of a sudden he gave a speech after he took
- 4:07Speaker 1: the oath on a Quran. Oh that's it, at the
- 4:11Speaker 1: end of the world. We'll get into that momentarily. Some
- 4:15Speaker 1: of my friends were like, freaking out, a Koran. You
- 4:18Speaker 1: know what that means, Curtis, Well, what does that mean?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Tell me, Well, let's get to what he actually said.
- 4:27Speaker 1: He said, I was elected as a democratic socialist and
- 4:31Speaker 1: I will govern as a democratic socialist.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Shocking right. He said that every step.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Of the way, all through the campaign, were you not listening?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Were you not listening? Well, let's face it, most New
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yorkers have no idea what a communist is a socialist.
- 4:49Speaker 1: If I took one hundred people put them up along
- 4:51Speaker 1: the wall, they have no idea. A socialist is not
- 4:54Speaker 1: a communist. Okay, It's almost like I have to take
- 4:57Speaker 1: everybody to school. And then naturally when Bernie the out
- 5:02Speaker 1: the Coca Sanders graduate of Madison High School not far
- 5:07Speaker 1: away sitting there, shiver me, Timbers, was Chuck E Chees, Schumer, schmuck,
- 5:13Speaker 1: the Putts who got up halfway and left. He went
- 5:17Speaker 1: to Madison High School. I can run down a whole
- 5:19Speaker 1: litany of people went to Madison High School. What Bernie
- 5:23Speaker 1: Brooklyn boy went to Brooklyn College. You know the rest
- 5:25Speaker 1: of the story. So he swears him in on the
- 5:28Speaker 1: frigid steps of city Hall, and then the crowd start
- 5:32Speaker 1: screaming tax, the ridge tax, the ridge tax, the ridge.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Isn't that what Zaran said all dren the campaign and said,
- 5:41Speaker 1: he said, I don't even believe there should be billionaires.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Are you forgetting that?
- 5:48Speaker 1: People elected this guy on three issues, freeze the rent
- 5:54Speaker 1: city buses, for free universal childcare, all right, and he
- 5:58Speaker 1: engine all of them yesterday. Now. Meantime, while everybody was
- 6:04Speaker 1: determining that this is it, it's over, people were like
- 6:09Speaker 1: getting in touch with me. And see, wait a second,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm reading the New York Post. Here it says that
- 6:15Speaker 1: you made a surprise appearance at Mandami's inaugural block party.
- 6:20Speaker 1: That's right, because I wasn't invited with the elites at
- 6:22Speaker 1: city Hall. I certainly wasn't invited like Eric Adams, who
- 6:28Speaker 1: one moment people may boom me. I don't know if
- 6:32Speaker 1: they want to be there. Oh god, what a crook.
- 6:35Speaker 1: The best thing about the dropping of the ball, I mean,
- 6:39Speaker 1: the absolute.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Best thing.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Was the way Andy Cohen went off on him with
- 6:48Speaker 1: Anderson there Anderson Cooper and just said, get out of here,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you cook, your corrupt, You're horrible. I mean, he just
- 6:56Speaker 1: went off. I thought we could revive a game, you know,
- 7:01Speaker 1: instead of the Wheel of Fortune you or by merv
- 7:03Speaker 1: Griffin with Pat Sajack and Vana White. I think came
- 7:08Speaker 1: about in seventy five, although I think the first host,
- 7:10Speaker 1: correct me if I'm wrong, was Chuck woolry. I think
- 7:13Speaker 1: could be wrong. I didn't ask for you, is he man?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Just stop patronizing me, do me a favor? Huh? That
- 7:21Speaker 1: really bothers me. And we could call it the wheel
- 7:24Speaker 1: of corruption. City Hall for sale under Eric Adams as
- 7:29Speaker 1: he left twenty nine indictments right either members of his administration,
- 7:38Speaker 1: top aids, allies, donors, including himself, and he's in moaning
- 7:44Speaker 1: and going on and do nothing wrong. Well, you know,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I don't generally like Andy Cohen. Obviously he had been
- 7:52Speaker 1: bending his elbow, he was half in the bag. But
- 7:56Speaker 1: I give him the applause. Thank god. That is the
- 7:58Speaker 1: best thing getting rid of the crook Eric Adams. And
- 8:04Speaker 1: by the way, I warned everybody when I ran against
- 8:06Speaker 1: him at twenty twenty one, is he You were there,
- 8:09Speaker 1: You remember at the time I said, this guy's a
- 8:11Speaker 1: crook and this guy is corrupt and we will have chaos.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Was that wrong? They had a survey on his way out.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It said zero percent of all those surveyed said he
- 8:26Speaker 1: did nothing good. I would give him, on one credit,
- 8:32Speaker 1: the best night light mayor we've ever had since Jimmy Walker,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because that's all he would do is go to a
- 8:38Speaker 1: nearby club to the break of dawn. It didn't matter
- 8:41Speaker 1: what burrow until four in the morning. Him and Jimmy
- 8:44Speaker 1: Walker had that. By the way, if you're watching any movies,
- 8:48Speaker 1: you watch the Bob Hope movie about the other corrupt
- 8:51Speaker 1: mayor Jimmy Walker. Really good performance. And that's the white
- 8:56Speaker 1: version of this swaggerman with no plan Eric Adams.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Ooofa.
- 9:01Speaker 1: That made me feel good. But then all of these
- 9:05Speaker 1: people say, how come you went? How come you stood
- 9:08Speaker 1: in line with all the Zorinistas. Because I don't just
- 9:12Speaker 1: base what I say on what I hear in the
- 9:15Speaker 1: news or I see on TV or I scrolled to.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I like to be there in person. And so I
- 9:23Speaker 1: came out of the subway and I was online with
- 9:26Speaker 1: all the Zorinistas. Yea, the people who elected Mandami Meyer,
- 9:32Speaker 1: not the elites at city Hall. And I waited my
- 9:35Speaker 1: turn to get in and watch. I was online at twelve.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Didn't get into that. What they called that, I guess
- 9:44Speaker 1: they said it was going to be a block party.
- 9:45Speaker 1: There was no no real party, poorly organized. I didn't
- 9:49Speaker 1: get in till two thirty, that's how long the lines were.
- 9:52Speaker 1: And oh boy, people were saying, how come. All these
- 9:55Speaker 1: Zorinistas were hide fiving you.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Because they under stud I'm standing.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Out there with all them, you know, like a real person,
- 10:05Speaker 1: not up in the suites in the streets like I
- 10:07Speaker 1: always am, subways in streets and having a lot of
- 10:09Speaker 1: conversations all city and State. Was that they can believe it,
- 10:14Speaker 1: big article on the Wall Street Journal, Q and A
- 10:16Speaker 1: with me. You know at the end of the year,
- 10:19Speaker 1: if you get a chance, you gotta read these really
- 10:21Speaker 1: good But the main thing is I was saying to
- 10:26Speaker 1: h those who hates or On and a lot of
- 10:29Speaker 1: my fellow Republicans who are attacking. In fact, this was
- 10:33Speaker 1: some of the really crazy stuff Curtis to disease are
- 10:39Speaker 1: On and his wife rom the night before. You saw
- 10:41Speaker 1: how they went down into that subway that's underneath City Hall,
- 10:45Speaker 1: the first subway ever created in a vast subway system.
- 10:49Speaker 1: That is really an architect who will wonder he's got
- 10:52Speaker 1: the terror courtA Tiles brash shand of Lee is to say,
- 10:56Speaker 1: distinctly European appearance. I actually him credit. Remember the other
- 11:01Speaker 1: day I said, Wow, if I had been lucky enough
- 11:04Speaker 1: to been elected mayor, I would have never thought of that.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Good, good, idea.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So that's where he had his original swearing in. Once
- 11:11Speaker 1: the ball dropped in Times Square. Do you know what's
- 11:14Speaker 1: happened since people come up to me and they say, oh, man,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know he got sworn in on the Koran. I said, yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: he's a Muslim. Did you you find that surprising? He
- 11:25Speaker 1: said that every day of the way. I think he
- 11:29Speaker 1: visited every mosque in the five boroughs. Surprise, surprise. Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 1: But by him being sworn in down in that subway tunnel,
- 11:38Speaker 1: it was a secret message to Hamas that I got
- 11:43Speaker 1: your back, that I support you. I said, you really
- 11:46Speaker 1: believe that crap? Oh yeah, yeah, it's all subliminal. It's messaging.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I said's just a great location, a great venue. Oh no, no,
- 11:55Speaker 1: you don't. You don't understand chritis. I said, well, let
- 11:58Speaker 1: me get back to this whole like of being sworn
- 12:01Speaker 1: in on a Qur'an. I said, you realize that we've
- 12:05Speaker 1: had presidents who are not sworn in on a Bible.
- 12:09Speaker 1: In fact, they weren't sworn on any religious book. What
- 12:16Speaker 1: I remembered, you folks out there can correct me wrong
- 12:20Speaker 1: if I'm wrong, because you know I will admit when
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'm wrong. I will fess up when I mess up,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and feel free to do so, because that's really what
- 12:28Speaker 1: talk radio is. It's your turn to be heard. Eight
- 12:31Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten eight hundred three
- 12:35Speaker 1: two one zero seventy ten. If I remember from my
- 12:39Speaker 1: history lessons, Thomas Jefferson ever got sworn in as president
- 12:44Speaker 1: on a Bible. The guy who followed them, John Quincy Adams,
- 12:49Speaker 1: he believed separation of church in state. He got sworn
- 12:52Speaker 1: in on a book of laws. He refused to be
- 12:55Speaker 1: sworn in on a Bible. Franklin Pierce, another president of laws.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm not being sworn in on the Bible. And Calvin Coolidge,
- 13:05Speaker 1: one of our worst presidents, was a Puritan, and he said,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'm not being sworn in on a Bible. Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 3: But Curticiz's different. He was sworn in on a Koran.
- 13:18Speaker 1: He's a Muslim, and anybody voting for him not realize
- 13:21Speaker 1: he was a Musclim.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, But Curtage, this is not right.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I said, excuse me, Do I not remember a visit
- 13:33Speaker 1: that Johann Mandami took to the White House? You remember
- 13:37Speaker 1: that visit? Right? Oh?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Man?
- 13:39Speaker 1: Now, Cami Mandamie, I can't wait to take all the
- 13:42Speaker 1: money from the city. You can't be electing this guy,
- 13:46Speaker 1: this communist, right, Remember it wasn't Trump saying that like
- 13:49Speaker 1: every day, and then all of a sudden, I love fest.
- 13:54Speaker 1: A love fest was like Barney.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I love you, you love me.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Oh, we're gonna be helping him. We agree on a
- 14:02Speaker 1: lot more than I thought. I think he'll do a
- 14:05Speaker 1: great job. I'd be comfortable living in New York City
- 14:09Speaker 1: with Mondamie is Maya who said that Donald Trump. Oh,
- 14:14Speaker 1: they're the best, the best. He's gonna be fine. Hey, Zoon,
- 14:21Speaker 1: you wanna call me a fascist, don't worry, call me
- 14:24Speaker 1: a fascist. We got played ladies and gentlemen. And so
- 14:29Speaker 1: when I turned to Maga people and Republicans, I say,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you know, the president is embracing By the way, did
- 14:35Speaker 1: the President put out a tweet on truth social condemning
- 14:40Speaker 1: Joran Mondamie's swearing in by burning the out the Coca
- 14:44Speaker 1: Sanders with AOC they did? He No, he's embraced the guy.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, But there's a strategy here, Curtis.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You gotta understand that he's gonna let Zoron let his
- 15:00Speaker 1: guard down. He doesn't really mean it. What do you
- 15:03Speaker 1: mean he doesn't really mean it.
- 15:05Speaker 3: He said it before the world.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Oh you'll see Curtis, Yeah, yeah, yeah, you you you
- 15:13Speaker 1: gets like you keep believing that, all right, you keep
- 15:18Speaker 1: believing that the President said on November twenty first, in
- 15:24Speaker 1: the White House, with zor unerstanding right there, the better
- 15:28Speaker 1: he does, the happier I am. And by that, by
- 15:32Speaker 1: the way, hours before that, the House of Representatives had
- 15:37Speaker 1: passed a resolution denouncing the horrors of socialism. All the
- 15:42Speaker 1: Republicans that you hear from here at WOR and other stations,
- 15:45Speaker 1: and eighty six Democrats. So you figured that zarn MONDAMMI
- 15:52Speaker 1: was gonna catch a verbal beat down, and in fact
- 15:55Speaker 1: it was a love fest. So ladies and gentlemen, and
- 16:00Speaker 1: don't get on my case. This is what you do
- 16:03Speaker 1: to respect the process, the change of one party to
- 16:07Speaker 1: another party, one political ideology to another political ideology. That's
- 16:16Speaker 1: what our American democracy is about. So I didn't get
- 16:21Speaker 1: invited to the inauguration. I just showed up to the
- 16:26Speaker 1: block party so I could share some of my experiences
- 16:29Speaker 1: with all of you and see for myself.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Because I challenge authority.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I don't care if it's Trump Zorhan, Democrats, business leaders,
- 16:40Speaker 1: cultural leaders. I don't just repeat and regurgitate whatever I
- 16:45Speaker 1: hear from the people I like. I challenge authority, and
- 16:50Speaker 1: there's nobody out there who's gonna give you a better
- 16:52Speaker 1: analysis of what took place yesterday.
- 16:54Speaker 3: In the freezing cold.
- 16:57Speaker 1: And by the way, really didn't matter because most of
- 17:00Speaker 1: the zoronista's young millennials gen zas. If they had been older,
- 17:07Speaker 1: oh boy, it would have been ice cube. Hell. Our
- 17:12Speaker 1: numbers one eight hundred and three to one zero seventy ten.
- 17:16Speaker 1: That's one eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 17:18Speaker 1: While online, I was alerting all these Zorinistas that artificial
- 17:25Speaker 1: intelligence is coming for you. We're gonna talk about that later.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna do my tribute to Bernard McGirt that I
- 17:32Speaker 1: used to do every year at WABC that they never do.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I mean, that was a radio guy. And we're gonna
- 17:39Speaker 1: talk about the crime of the century. Up next, Bitcoin cryptocurrency.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I call it crime coin and the biggest Ponzi scheme
- 17:49Speaker 1: that has ever existed in American history. And some of
- 17:53Speaker 1: you are being lured into it because Trump, who said
- 17:56Speaker 1: it was bitcrime at one time, then got all that
- 18:00Speaker 1: money from the crypto monsters, and now he's the number
- 18:03Speaker 1: one advocate of crime coin one eight hundred three two
- 18:07Speaker 1: one zero seven ten
