- 1:44Speaker 1: It's a podcast call twenty five.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Whistles twenty wine. All right, welcome, welcome, Welcome.
- 1:51Speaker 1: We have Kentucky head football coach Mark Stoops coming up.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Do you have a whistle and I don't have a
- 1:57Speaker 2: whistle with me?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Okay, we have a whistle over there, might get that whistle.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Uh.
- 2:06Speaker 1: First things first, Saturday's big day and it's not even
- 2:10Speaker 1: the beginning of college football because games start tonight. I
- 2:13Speaker 1: guess Week zero happened, but that doesn't really count. Boise
- 2:16Speaker 1: State play South Florida tonight. Nebraska and Cincinnati played tonight,
- 2:19Speaker 1: which is interesting. The Cincinnati head coach came and was
- 2:22Speaker 1: my guest at the opry, and I was hanging out
- 2:25Speaker 1: with him a little bit.
- 2:25Speaker 2: And I was like, how are we doing?
- 2:26Speaker 1: And He's like, first games against Nebraska, and I believe
- 2:30Speaker 1: you may look this up.
- 2:30Speaker 2: We're going from memory.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Are they playing in like a football stadium or something
- 2:34Speaker 1: tonight somewhere that's not the main Cincinnati stadium?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Oh? Like, are they playing in Kansasit I thought, you're
- 2:39Speaker 2: being sarcastic.
- 2:40Speaker 1: No, I feel like and maybe I'm just thinking, well
- 2:43Speaker 1: that sounds right.
- 2:44Speaker 5: I feel Kansas City, the chief Stadium, come out.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Think about this. Travis Kelce just got engaged. Travis Kelce played.
- 2:51Speaker 1: At Cincinnati, Travis Kelce, Travis Kelce plays for the Chiefs. Now,
- 2:57Speaker 1: could it be Travis kelcey knows Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift
- 3:00Speaker 1: as a winner, Cincinnati wins. I'm betting Cincinnati that's the easter
- 3:04Speaker 1: egg good tonight because the Cincinnati plus six and a half. Okay,
- 3:08Speaker 1: Nebraska's interesting because well, rail will be good. He was
- 3:11Speaker 1: a freshman last year and he was good. He's good.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Matt Rule started a podcast to Kevin.
- 3:16Speaker 5: You see that, Yeah, I did.
- 3:18Speaker 1: He's gonna, I guess, donate them rules.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, like rules of the game or something like that.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And he's going to donate the money to in IL,
- 3:24Speaker 2: which is good. Why is Boise State ranked twenty fifth?
- 3:27Speaker 2: I thought I made the playoff last year? Yeah, but
- 3:30Speaker 2: Ashton Gent's like not there right, like correct, He's with
- 3:32Speaker 2: the Raiders in that kind of what made Boise State
- 3:35Speaker 2: so good last year? I think that was a part
- 3:36Speaker 2: of it.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But I think Boise State's always good, and I think
- 3:40Speaker 1: they deserve a top twenty five ranking until they don't.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I'll get to my point here about why I'm so annoyed.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Friday's games Auburn at Baylor. Auburn is the favorite, Auburn
- 3:54Speaker 1: supposedly not that good. Does that mean Baylor's really bad?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Georgia Tech and Colorado play Friday and Saturday the Big
- 4:01Speaker 1: Ones Texas at Ohio State. It's the first time ever
- 4:05Speaker 1: at number one team has been the underdog game one
- 4:08Speaker 1: of the season because they are a one and a
- 4:11Speaker 1: half point underdog the number one team in the country.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Texas, LSU and Clemson play. That's gonna be fun. I
- 4:17Speaker 2: don't like Clemson. Mostly it's still I know you had
- 4:22Speaker 2: a residual, so I know I didn't lose it. I
- 4:24Speaker 2: don't have a reason to like residual.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And also them winning the conference game last year kept
- 4:30Speaker 1: Alabama out of the College Football Playoff and had a
- 4:32Speaker 1: heavy future on Alabama, So there's a lot there's a
- 4:36Speaker 1: lot of state go.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I got you.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So I'm rooting for LSU conference although watching and I
- 4:41Speaker 1: know you guys haven't watched any given Saturday on Netflix.
- 4:43Speaker 5: I've seen most of it.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Brian Kelly not not likable guy, is he?
- 4:47Speaker 4: No?
- 4:47Speaker 1: They even put his dad. They even put his dad
- 4:48Speaker 1: in it to like show his family and like here
- 4:51Speaker 1: who he is. There's other layers of them, and you're like,
- 4:53Speaker 1: still don't like him, Like what's.
- 4:55Speaker 2: His dad like though? Is his dad likable? Yeah, it's
- 4:58Speaker 2: all old guys are likable, Okay, not all.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Yeah, you can tell he's kind of a hard nosed
- 5:02Speaker 5: guy too.
- 5:02Speaker 1: His dad yeah for sure. Where are you in the season?
- 5:05Speaker 5: I believe I've watched five, so I think I got
- 5:09Speaker 5: two more.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You haven't watch Missippi State yet?
- 5:11Speaker 5: That was the last one I watched.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I kind of came away. Yeah, yeah, I like him.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I don't love him, but I like him.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 5: It seems like a just a cool dude.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Misssippi State. And then have you watched the Kentucky one?
- 5:22Speaker 5: No, I haven't watched that one yet.
- 5:23Speaker 2: We have stoops coming up a little bit. Are they
- 5:25Speaker 2: broken down in colleges? Like every episode is out of college?
- 5:28Speaker 2: Or just kind of.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Every episode is two schools? They followed two schools in
- 5:33Speaker 1: their game? Would that be accurate to say?
- 5:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it's like two games each episode and two.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Schools or yeah, so they followed Vanderbilt at Alabama, which
- 5:43Speaker 1: is a crazy game to be because they won the
- 5:44Speaker 1: freaking thing. And then they followed Arkansas at Tennessee. Same
- 5:47Speaker 1: episode when Arkansas beat Tennessee.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I was like the underdog episode.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was good.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Coach Lee Man, who I'm telling you right?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Don't you want to play for HI? Don't want to
- 5:56Speaker 1: order you around, even if it's not to play football? Yeah,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I call him up, be like, tell me what to
- 5:59Speaker 1: do to do? Yeah, I want to call them every
- 6:01Speaker 1: morning a motivation.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Clarklee, it's Bobby.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Just give me something to do today, Man, give me
- 6:06Speaker 1: a list.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Because I want to do it to the best of
- 6:08Speaker 2: my ability.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Clarkly's awesome. Alabama Florida State play. What's interesting about
- 6:13Speaker 1: that is both of those teams kind of need a
- 6:15Speaker 1: much better year.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Alabama did not go.
- 6:17Speaker 1: To the College Football Playoff, means they weren't the top twelve,
- 6:19Speaker 1: which means it was the first year after Nick Saban,
- 6:21Speaker 1: Caitlyn de Boor is the coach, and now they want
- 6:24Speaker 1: to run them out after one bad season which wasn't
- 6:26Speaker 1: even bad. But then Florida State had a terrible year,
- 6:29Speaker 1: terrible last year.
- 6:30Speaker 2: What did they win two games? I don't know, I
- 6:32Speaker 2: said watching it, Yeah, it got to be tough. So
- 6:35Speaker 2: that's Saturday.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But for me, Saturday is my fantasy draft in one
- 6:40Speaker 1: of my leagues. I only play in two leaks. But
- 6:42Speaker 1: they did it Saturday at three?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Are we drafting Saturday? Is that?
- 6:45Speaker 1: Okay? It's a league that matters.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think, Oh, that's not funny. Yeah, it's Saturday at three.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Why would you have a fantasy draft on the first
- 6:54Speaker 1: college football day of the week. I know it's a
- 6:57Speaker 1: lot of NFL guys, even former NFL players. They're very
- 7:00Speaker 1: much thinking about just NFL one week from then. But
- 7:02Speaker 1: it's three o'clock and they're doing this big barbecue and everybody.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm not going because Arkansas plays at three and I
- 7:07Speaker 1: wouldn't go anyway because it's the first Saturday of college football.
- 7:11Speaker 2: So I'm a little annoyed at that.
- 7:12Speaker 1: So I'll be on my phone doing my draft, not
- 7:14Speaker 1: eating free barbecue. But I will be excited because football started.
- 7:18Speaker 2: You're in a fantasy league with like old NFL players.
- 7:21Speaker 2: There's a few GUYSH do this baller? Why was he
- 7:24Speaker 2: even playing ours? Like I would just get out of ours?
- 7:26Speaker 1: No, this is the one that I've played in for
- 7:29Speaker 1: ours is like twenty years.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Oh, I know, I know, but I get more leagues now.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but I get more pride in that one because
- 7:34Speaker 1: I see you guys, and you always win it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I don't always went. I went last year, Yeah, but
- 7:37Speaker 2: you're pretty good. I think I won the year before
- 7:40Speaker 2: and then two years before that. Do we still have
- 7:41Speaker 2: a trophy for that one? What that league? We used
- 7:45Speaker 2: to have a trophy that you had for a long
- 7:46Speaker 2: time at your house, the big football. It kind of
- 7:49Speaker 2: look like a college football trophy.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I don't know, Okay, I have so many trophies in
- 7:54Speaker 1: a ward, so gets lost in the mix, you know.
- 8:01Speaker 1: So that is exciting. Something else I wanted to propose.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So there's also this league that I do that is
- 8:10Speaker 1: not fantasy, and I've talked about it before and Matt
- 8:13Speaker 1: Stell is a good friend of mine. He orchestrates it.
- 8:17Speaker 1: There are six people now teams, but it's six different teams.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And what happens is you draft and you you don't
- 8:26Speaker 1: pay anything to get in, there's no cost to get in,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and you draft a team. So if I went first overall,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'd probably draft probably the Chiefs or the Ravens or
- 8:38Speaker 1: the Bills.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Right, That's that kind of thing.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And throughout the season, for every game your team wins,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you win like one hundred bucks, but if you lose,
- 8:46Speaker 1: it costs you one hundred bucks. So you're trying to draft,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and so you also can draft teams to lose, meaning
- 8:53Speaker 1: in the third round, because you only get six teams
- 8:55Speaker 1: you could draft. I'll take the Saints to lose and
- 8:57Speaker 1: every time they lose, you win. It's like if you're
- 8:59Speaker 1: a drafting the team to win and they win, it's
- 9:00Speaker 1: a good one. Where that gets you though as playoffs, well,
- 9:04Speaker 1: teams are still in the playoffs winning. You can't keep
- 9:05Speaker 1: losing your teams and not.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Able to lose. Gosh, that's right. So there are all
- 9:08Speaker 2: these little deals.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Now I've done it by myself, and the first year
- 9:11Speaker 1: I think I lost three thousand dollars in the league.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So how when you draft? How do you pay a
- 9:16Speaker 2: certain amount of money? When you draft, you don't pay anything. Okay,
- 9:19Speaker 2: so where's that? Where does that money come from?
- 9:21Speaker 1: Well, whenever a team wins, that means a team is losing.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Like money goes into the podcast.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Oh I got you, Yeah, I got you. So if
- 9:29Speaker 2: you picked the losing team and they win, you've got
- 9:31Speaker 2: Tokaya one hundred dollars and that money will go to.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Sea and mathematically it all works out. The first year
- 9:36Speaker 1: I did it, I did not quite understand. Again, I
- 9:39Speaker 1: think I lost three thousand dollars. The second year I
- 9:42Speaker 1: did it, I got it a bit better, and I
- 9:44Speaker 1: think I lost four hundred dollars.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Getting better.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Last year I won like four thousand dollars.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Oh way, so in that trend this year, you're gonna
- 9:51Speaker 2: win like ten thousand dollars.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Not that, because those picks five and six get to
- 9:55Speaker 1: be really weird because you don't know there are those
- 9:57Speaker 1: teams that are like five hundred. And My point is,
- 10:01Speaker 1: if you guys wanted to partner, I would take partners.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I don't really need the money. We need the money.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But the thing is you.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Could lose a lot of money.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Yeah, we also don't need to lose the money.
- 10:12Speaker 2: We really don't.
- 10:13Speaker 1: It's definitely the biggest risk reward of all the things
- 10:18Speaker 1: that I do.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I could safely say that I have about there's no
- 10:23Speaker 2: money amount. You can say.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It's not your an investing amount of money. It's you
- 10:27Speaker 1: would own a percentage.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Right, I know. But but if I because like going
- 10:31Speaker 2: into this this football year, I had to kind of
- 10:33Speaker 2: do the numbers, crunch the numbers and find out how
- 10:36Speaker 2: much money I have to gamble for the year. But
- 10:39Speaker 2: this doesn't matter. This is not related to that because
- 10:42Speaker 2: you could win. We could. You don't put any in.
- 10:44Speaker 2: You don't look at it as like, okay, well this
- 10:46Speaker 2: is given the max I can lose.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You don't have a max. You can lose in this.
- 10:49Speaker 1: There have been people that have lost nine to ten
- 10:50Speaker 1: thousand dollars.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh my good god.
- 10:52Speaker 1: There are also people who have won that.
- 10:55Speaker 2: That's stressful, but I'm interested.
- 10:58Speaker 1: So if you guys want to have a percentage of
- 11:01Speaker 1: the team, I would let you in. But the thing
- 11:04Speaker 1: is you have to either pay that percentage if we
- 11:06Speaker 1: lost it, or win that percentage if we win it.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah, and then run run the drafting buy
- 11:12Speaker 2: me one more time. So is it just kind of
- 11:14Speaker 2: like a snake draft? It is absolutely a snake draft.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And then what happened?
- 11:17Speaker 1: There are six people, but you can bid on spots,
- 11:19Speaker 1: like I paid a couple hundred bucks last year to
- 11:21Speaker 1: get like the third spot.
- 11:24Speaker 5: And so you have that the team that you pick,
- 11:26Speaker 5: whether win or lose, you have them for the intelligole year.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And you can't get rid of them because once I
- 11:29Speaker 1: got the Rams, they sucked all year and they're supposed
- 11:32Speaker 1: to be good, and I was just just bucketing water
- 11:35Speaker 1: out of the boat, like, oh my god, you're trying to.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Try to stay floor. Yep, M. But the draft is Saturday,
- 11:43Speaker 2: Saturday at three o'clock.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You think about it because it's Tuesday night, the second,
- 11:50Speaker 1: so we'll do another show before.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Then, and you're open to a percentage as far as
- 11:55Speaker 5: what we contribute, yeah, or.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It just should be it should be even percentage.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Right, I mean I would think that would like okay, yeah, okay,
- 12:02Speaker 1: I know as.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Hey, I got five bucks on him, but worrying guys.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 12:07Speaker 1: But again, it's like a stock you buy, but there
- 12:09Speaker 1: is no limit to what you can lose. There's also
- 12:12Speaker 1: if you're good at picking, it's tough. It's way tougher
- 12:15Speaker 1: than I thought it was.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so because you think you know. But yes,
- 12:19Speaker 5: I mean every year there's like four teams that don't
- 12:20Speaker 5: make the playoffs that did and then vice versa. So
- 12:23Speaker 5: it's tough.
- 12:24Speaker 1: That's tough. And last year I cheated the system. I
- 12:27Speaker 1: want so much money. I don't know if they're going
- 12:28Speaker 1: to eliminate it from doing this. But because I figured
- 12:30Speaker 1: out that picks five and six are always toss ups,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and that's either what wins you were losing to you,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and I was like, screw that. So I picked the
- 12:36Speaker 1: Bears to win in the fifth round and the Bears
- 12:39Speaker 1: to lose in the sixth round, which just eliminated five
- 12:41Speaker 1: and six completely, so I broke even so I only
- 12:43Speaker 1: had my four teams to use them. Those are the
- 12:45Speaker 1: four best teams, and so I want a ton that's genius.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I don't that.
- 12:48Speaker 1: No one's ever and they debated it when I started
- 12:50Speaker 1: doing that, they were.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Like, can he do this? But it wasn't in the
- 12:53Speaker 2: rules at the time exactly.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And I haven't heard that they've put it in the
- 12:56Speaker 1: rules yet, but maybe they forgot. You know me, I'm
- 12:58Speaker 1: trying to cut corners legally, but I'm trying to find loopholes.
- 13:02Speaker 1: The second year, when I lost just a little bit,
- 13:04Speaker 1: what I did wrong was I figured out, oh, you
- 13:06Speaker 1: can pick teams to lose, so first and second round
- 13:08Speaker 1: I pick bad teams. But then when the playoffs came,
- 13:10Speaker 1: I just kept losing money because I had nobody in it.
- 13:13Speaker 2: So anyway, think about that, think about that.
- 13:15Speaker 1: We'll do it next week. Other breaking news, I do
- 13:17Speaker 1: have Eddie Superman costume.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Oh it came in.
- 13:19Speaker 5: Oh, let's go.
- 13:20Speaker 2: It's in office. Okay, I can try that on whenever
- 13:23Speaker 2: you guys are ready. Yeah, off, what have you tried on?
- 13:25Speaker 2: Next week? Great? I don't have to stay for two
- 13:27Speaker 2: hours and do the Superman thing. So my mom's in
- 13:30Speaker 2: town too. She's gonna be like, what are you doing?
- 13:33Speaker 5: She hadn't drop you off, She has to record you.
- 13:36Speaker 2: My mom's gonna drop me off at the bridge. Mom
- 13:41Speaker 2: picked me up in two hours. I'll be here. She
- 13:44Speaker 2: has to record you two hours, my mom, And my
- 13:47Speaker 2: mom has got to be like, what do you do
- 13:48Speaker 2: for a living?
- 13:49Speaker 1: Like it's part of your job? Hot dogs, Superman costumes.
- 13:56Speaker 1: It is kind of cool that the weather's getting a
- 13:58Speaker 1: bit cool. It's the best.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Yeah, dude. What's awesome is like my kids, My son's
- 14:02Speaker 2: playing football, so those games at night, Oh, they just
- 14:05Speaker 2: it feels like football weather, which it hadn't been all summer.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But man, it feels good.
- 14:10Speaker 1: The thing this sucks, though, is I know right around
- 14:11Speaker 1: the corner's gonna be freezing freaking cold.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yep.
- 14:14Speaker 5: That's uh, don't think about it.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Enjoy then.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Now, do you think Travis Kelsey retires after this year? Yes?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Yes, he's got you got a plan. He's got a
- 14:24Speaker 2: plan for the wedding.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I think if they win the super Bowl, he retires.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I think if they don't win the super Bowl he
- 14:28Speaker 1: might retire. I think if they get to the Super
- 14:31Speaker 1: Bowl again and lose, he doesn't retire.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I think that's the only.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Way he'd probably, I say, AFC Championship or super Bowl
- 14:36Speaker 1: and lose, he comes back for one more. If they
- 14:38Speaker 1: don't even make it that far, he quits. If they
- 14:40Speaker 1: win it, he quits. I see that because I don't
- 14:43Speaker 1: think he wants to blame to be on Taylor Swift.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Oh and I think that could be a bunch of haters.
- 14:48Speaker 2: You know, they'll say that.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Because I think if it gets close, they're like, well,
- 14:50Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey, if he'd have been better. But if they
- 14:52Speaker 1: like finish but nine wins and only win the wild card,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I don't think people will put it on her.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Dude, there's no way he's gonna have a good year, right,
- 15:01Speaker 2: Like he just got engaged, Like there's too much press
- 15:05Speaker 2: on him, like the is the is the podcast going
- 15:08Speaker 2: to go throughout the season, Like there's so many distractions here.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Well, he didn't have a great year last year, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: that's probably why I know. The University of Oklahoma is
- 15:16Speaker 1: now selling tickets to its football press conferences for six
- 15:20Speaker 1: hundred and ninety dollars. Fans can attend the postgame media
- 15:22Speaker 1: session after the Michigan matchup with coaches players, the Illinois
- 15:26Speaker 1: State opener was priced at four to sixty. It sold out.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I can't believe people are paying that much money.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Can they? Can they ask a question like are they?
- 15:33Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Okay, good, let's just see with this new offer, regular
- 15:37Speaker 1: fans can get up close some personal access for just
- 15:39Speaker 1: a few hundred bucks and not be on the hook
- 15:41Speaker 1: for budget busting donations. I don't know, maybe and people
- 15:45Speaker 1: hoaring themselves on every way now wow, I know, Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 5: That better go towards like nil or something.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I'm sure it will, like it goes maybe even towards
- 15:53Speaker 1: like the bottom line and then the profit. I don't know,
- 15:56Speaker 1: but yes, they're not doing that just to help the
- 15:58Speaker 1: school out. They're doing that to make money for Yeah,
- 16:00Speaker 1: it was crazy program the organization.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I saw a TikTok on Middle Tennessee, you know, the
- 16:06Speaker 2: the university.
- 16:07Speaker 1: How like they got rid of half.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Of their jerseys because they're like, well, we don't need
- 16:11Speaker 2: to get white jerseys and blue jersey.
- 16:13Speaker 1: No, No, that's not right. They're not doing all. They
- 16:15Speaker 1: have to have white and blue. Those are what they have.
- 16:17Speaker 1: They're not doing alternate jerseys like alternate whites are.
- 16:21Speaker 2: No, they only have one. No, dude, that's what you're got,
- 16:25Speaker 2: all blue on blue at one point. No, no, no, no,
- 16:28Speaker 2: no thanks, I.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Don't want to like stopping. No no, are you very
- 16:32Speaker 1: wrong on that one? I was gonna let you.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I was gonna let you carry that one. Well, I
- 16:35Speaker 2: wasn't gonna go one step further on, Like do they
- 16:37Speaker 2: weren't even have helmets?
- 16:38Speaker 5: Yeah, because they were cutting budget.
- 16:42Speaker 2: They cut budgets so they can have some nil money
- 16:44Speaker 2: and be competitors.
- 16:45Speaker 1: So the great thing about that story is, which I
- 16:48Speaker 1: find really fascinating, is Okay, so Middle Tennessee state, it's
- 16:50Speaker 1: a national story. So not just local local TikTok. Yeah,
- 16:54Speaker 1: local TikTok didn't have it, a national TikTok did, which
- 16:57Speaker 1: is cool.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 1: So they've elimited their alternate jerseys, meaning they're not going
- 17:01Speaker 1: to spend money on a second version of blue, a
- 17:03Speaker 1: second version of white, different helmets, and they end up
- 17:06Speaker 1: saving like half a million dollars and just not having
- 17:11Speaker 1: to spend that extra money on that, and that money
- 17:13Speaker 1: goes back into the program even in IL. Also, what
- 17:15Speaker 1: they're doing, they're allowing football players to sell tickets. Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and then the football players get a percentage of the
- 17:20Speaker 1: ticket sales.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So they're like, yeah, everybody gets like two thousand a
- 17:24Speaker 1: year for ANIL, but if you want to actually make more,
- 17:27Speaker 1: you can, which I think is pretty cool.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Thank you for telling that story correctly.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I gave it thanks to the table there.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, well I brought it up. Then you took it
- 17:35Speaker 2: from there to thank you.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I said, you have it.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Though.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Man, Samu'son State's coming, They're going to play Middle Tennessee.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'm probably gonna go to that game. Really yeah, even
- 17:44Speaker 2: though I was thinking about going to that Western Kentucky
- 17:46Speaker 2: game last week, but man, they got murdered. Samuseon State
- 17:49Speaker 2: got murdered. They played last week they did in Western
- 17:51Speaker 2: Kentucky and Bowling Green, and I told the kids you
- 17:54Speaker 2: wanted it wasn't on my local TikTok. I wasn't that
- 17:57Speaker 2: good of a game.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Quickly odds to win the National championship. Texas at one,
- 18:03Speaker 1: Ohio State at two, Penn State at three, Georgia at four,
- 18:05Speaker 1: Clemson at five, Alabama at six, Notre Dame, Oregon, LSU,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and Michigan round out the top ten.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Arkansas. We're playing Alabama A and M should be let's go, baby,
- 18:15Speaker 2: what's a spread on that?
- 18:15Speaker 4: You know?
- 18:16Speaker 2: I didn't even look thirty. I don't even look man.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I love the first week of football because these odds
- 18:22Speaker 2: makers don't know anything.
- 18:24Speaker 5: There isn't one because it's because it's such a mismatch.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Because it's like an FCS type thing.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I bet you they'll throw up a live one
- 18:31Speaker 2: at some point. FCS is Division one, Double A, right
- 18:35Speaker 2: A is FC.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I get FCS and fbses because I don't ever refer
- 18:39Speaker 1: to them as that FBS is the big boys.
- 18:41Speaker 2: That's what I thought like.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I think of it as like Bobby, yeah, big boy,
- 18:45Speaker 1: big Bob, Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 5: That plays is good?
- 18:49Speaker 1: What Bob, big boy?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yeah? That one never been there? Uh yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So we got coach toops coming up in a second.

- 19:28Speaker 1: seventy seven receiving yards. You can go to the LSU

- 20:36Speaker 1: Now, let's go over to our talk with Kentucky head
- 20:39Speaker 1: football coach Mark Stoops. Coach Dups going into his thirteenth
- 20:42Speaker 1: season as the head coach of the Wildcats, the longest tenured
- 20:45Speaker 1: coach in the SEC, and he's really I feel like,
- 20:49Speaker 1: turn the program around in a significant way, especially at
- 20:51Speaker 1: a school that you just think of as being a
- 20:53Speaker 1: basketball school. Kentucky opens with Toledo this weekend, Old Miss
- 20:56Speaker 1: Week two.
- 20:56Speaker 2: We talk about that.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Big thanks to Coach Dups for coming on here. He
- 20:59Speaker 1: is coach Mark Stoops, Coach Tups. We appreciate the time.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Thank you. Good to be on with you.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Hey, So what's this week like? How's it different? Than
- 21:07Speaker 1: last week because it's game It's game week, baby, let's go.
- 21:11Speaker 4: That's right, it's definitely game week.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You know.
- 21:14Speaker 4: I think you know when you get the game week.
- 21:16Speaker 4: It's been a long off season. You know, we had
- 21:19Speaker 4: a lot of work to do starting last winter and
- 21:22Speaker 4: certainly through the summer in this fall camp. So, uh,
- 21:25Speaker 4: come game week, I think everybody has a little extra
- 21:28Speaker 4: pep in their step and is ready to get going.
- 21:31Speaker 4: We're tired of, you know, playing against each other, hitting
- 21:34Speaker 4: each other and all that, so we want to see
- 21:35Speaker 4: a new opponent.
- 21:37Speaker 2: That's interesting, So I'll go there.
- 21:38Speaker 1: You talk about hitting each other, and a lot of
- 21:40Speaker 1: teams they get fatigue of just playing each other and
- 21:44Speaker 1: also fatigue of just practicing, and so there's scuffles occasionally.
- 21:48Speaker 1: What's your relationship like at near the end of practice
- 21:51Speaker 1: and people are fighting.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's a great question. In ironically, we had
- 21:56Speaker 4: that about a week ago or so, right towards the
- 21:59Speaker 4: end of camp, had one of those hot days and
- 22:01Speaker 4: guys were just on each other's nerves and uh, and
- 22:05Speaker 4: we had a big fight right at the end of practice,
- 22:07Speaker 4: and uh, it kind of pissed me off. I blew
- 22:09Speaker 4: the whistle and and teed it up and started practice
- 22:13Speaker 4: completely over again. We went right to stretch lanes, then
- 22:16Speaker 4: we went to individual and added another special teams period
- 22:21Speaker 4: and was going through practice and then time ran out.
- 22:24Speaker 4: You know, I have some rules and regulations that I
- 22:26Speaker 4: have to stand by, so I went as long as
- 22:28Speaker 4: I could. But then uh then I you know, wrapped
- 22:30Speaker 4: it up. So I went as long as I could
- 22:32Speaker 4: with a new practice. So, uh, you know, we have
- 22:35Speaker 4: to be more disciplined. You know, fights are going to
- 22:37Speaker 4: happen in camp. But the way this one, uh you
- 22:41Speaker 4: know happened, I just kind of had enough and uh
- 22:44Speaker 4: wanted to kind of sit down the law for them.
- 22:47Speaker 1: That's old school. Like, that's like again, I only played
- 22:49Speaker 1: like high school football. So like back in the day,
- 22:52Speaker 1: we didn't even get water if we weren't good, but
- 22:54Speaker 1: we would finish. We would come back from away game,
- 22:56Speaker 1: and if we played terrible, like we'd have to get
- 22:58Speaker 1: out and run sprints at night they turned the lights on.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Do you do anything like that if it's like a
- 23:01Speaker 1: bad game, do you ever show back up and like,
- 23:03Speaker 1: all right, boys into film now, or let's run sprints.
- 23:06Speaker 4: I'd like to a couple of times, but I haven't
- 23:08Speaker 4: done that one, but I think we needed to a
- 23:10Speaker 4: few times. I might have to incorporate that if we
- 23:13Speaker 4: have a bad game this year.
- 23:14Speaker 1: We used to like do Oklahoma drill pregame as well.
- 23:16Speaker 1: That's the stupidest thing we could have ever done, right, Yeah, yeah.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not very smart. Yeah, you're probably going to
- 23:23Speaker 4: do enough hitting in that game, so I think that's
- 23:25Speaker 4: probably enough. But they've outlawed that drill. We can't even
- 23:29Speaker 4: do that drill anymore in college football?
- 23:31Speaker 1: What is your favorite conditioning drill? We did a lot
- 23:35Speaker 1: of updowns, like what is your go to?
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you know in season, like over backs,
- 23:41Speaker 4: you know what I mean, So something to get some
- 23:44Speaker 4: some sprints, you know, this year we did some eighty
- 23:46Speaker 4: yard striders, and going all the way back to my
- 23:50Speaker 4: time playing at the University of Iowa, Hate and Fry
- 23:53Speaker 4: and all those guys, we used to do these cross fields,
- 23:55Speaker 4: you know, we jog out to the hash sprint and
- 23:59Speaker 4: get to the other sideline and back. So I like those.
- 24:02Speaker 4: I always feel like that's good conditioning.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Do gassers still exist or maybe that term isn't used anymore?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Or bowl in the ring? Two of the old school things.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean gassers, you know, I think there's different
- 24:14Speaker 4: forms of gassers. They still exist, I think, you know,
- 24:17Speaker 4: in the summer, one tens certainly jump on the back
- 24:20Speaker 4: of our players, that's for sure. And we have a
- 24:22Speaker 4: beautiful hill right outside my office here on the practice
- 24:25Speaker 4: field that we do some hills things of that nature.
- 24:28Speaker 4: But bowl in the ring. No more of that as well.
- 24:30Speaker 4: I mean they kind of outlawed some of the things
- 24:33Speaker 4: that was direct contact and hitting head to head with players.
- 24:37Speaker 4: So you know, football is a violent sport. You're going
- 24:41Speaker 4: to have enough of those type of contacts and hits
- 24:44Speaker 4: as well, So we try to limit those as much
- 24:46Speaker 4: as possible.
- 24:48Speaker 1: In practice before the season starts. Do you all all
- 24:50Speaker 1: your quarterbacks to get hit at all? No, So they
- 24:53Speaker 1: have a different color jersey, And how do you expect
- 24:55Speaker 1: them to be ready for hitting if they don't get
- 24:57Speaker 1: to get hit.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a great question. I think they You know, Fortunately,
- 25:03Speaker 4: with our starting quarterback, he's played a lot of football,
- 25:06Speaker 4: so I think he remembers what it's like to get hit,
- 25:09Speaker 4: you know. And and I say that, I mean when
- 25:11Speaker 4: they pull the ball and run it on a quarterback
- 25:14Speaker 4: scramble or design quarterback run. I mean they're going to
- 25:18Speaker 4: get thudded, but nothing, nothing too drastic.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Kwzada the kid that I remember from Texas, A and M.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I grew up in Arkansas, so watch a lot of
- 25:25Speaker 1: Arkansas ball when we got to beat by Calsada. He's
- 25:27Speaker 1: your quarterback. Now, what do you like about him?
- 25:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Like he's a big kid, he's very strong, he's
- 25:32Speaker 4: got to have a lot of experience, and he's got
- 25:34Speaker 4: a big arm. So I like the way he's been practicing,
- 25:39Speaker 4: you know, through through summer, and you know, I'm excited
- 25:42Speaker 4: to watch him play. I think he's the type of
- 25:44Speaker 4: young man that he also takes it up a notch
- 25:46Speaker 4: in you know, any game like situation. Here obviously I've
- 25:50Speaker 4: just watched him in scrimmages, but he always seems to
- 25:52Speaker 4: take it up a notch in scrimmages and and hopefully
- 25:54Speaker 4: he's going to do that with games as well.
- 25:56Speaker 1: What about the law kid from Alabama? You got the
- 25:59Speaker 1: wide receiver. Do you thanked him to have an impact?
- 26:01Speaker 4: I do. Kendrick is a really great young man, very strong,
- 26:06Speaker 4: he's very explosive. He's great with the football in his hands.
- 26:09Speaker 4: He'll be a kick returner for US wide receiver. He's
- 26:12Speaker 4: a gunner on the punt team. He does a lot
- 26:13Speaker 4: of things, and you know, he's had a great impact
- 26:16Speaker 4: so far.
- 26:17Speaker 1: After a game, win or loss, what film do you
- 26:20Speaker 1: like to watch? Offense? Defense? What was good or what
- 26:23Speaker 1: was bad?
- 26:23Speaker 4: Like?
- 26:23Speaker 1: What do you want prepared for you and ready?
- 26:25Speaker 4: Well, I'm a defensive guy, and I usually start with
- 26:28Speaker 4: the defense, but I have a better fix on that
- 26:30Speaker 4: during the game of what happened and whatnot. So you know,
- 26:34Speaker 4: generally I start with the offensive film. Now I'll watch
- 26:37Speaker 4: that first and then go to defense and special teams.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I was looking at some of the guys that you
- 26:42Speaker 1: coach defensively, and Ed Reid comes to mind. He's number
- 26:45Speaker 1: one on the list of the players. What was he
- 26:47Speaker 1: like to coach that young?
- 26:48Speaker 4: Yeah, Ed was absolutely fantastic. You're right. I was very
- 26:54Speaker 4: young at the time, and Ed is an old soul
- 26:56Speaker 4: in a great man, and you know, he was really
- 27:01Speaker 4: you know, I was fortunate I took you know, that job,
- 27:05Speaker 4: and the great Chuck Bagano has had them altied up
- 27:09Speaker 4: and coached up. I followed Chuck at the University of Miami,
- 27:13Speaker 4: and uh, you know, fortunately he left me with a
- 27:15Speaker 4: great secondary there. We added some great ones like Sean
- 27:18Speaker 4: Taylor and Antrell rolland Kelly Jennings. You know, we we
- 27:21Speaker 4: added some future first round picks. But I inherited guys
- 27:25Speaker 4: like Ed, Mike Rump, Philip you can in you know,
- 27:29Speaker 4: three first rounders my first year. And but Ed was
- 27:32Speaker 4: just kind of like he set the tone with the
- 27:35Speaker 4: whole team. He was really handled his business. He was
- 27:40Speaker 4: extremely so self motivated. He was the type of player
- 27:45Speaker 4: that sometimes he and I would walk on the on
- 27:47Speaker 4: the way out the practice field and I'd be like, Ed,
- 27:49Speaker 4: I'm going to get after you today, like I'm going
- 27:51Speaker 4: to coach you extremely hard, just to set the tone
- 27:54Speaker 4: with the rest of the guys. And you know what
- 27:56Speaker 4: he would say, bringing a coach, He said, they need it,
- 27:59Speaker 4: and you know, it's just, uh, that's just the type
- 28:02Speaker 4: of man he was. He's he's a great person and
- 28:04Speaker 4: a great leader, and uh, it was it was an
- 28:07Speaker 4: absolute pleasure and a joy for me to coach him.
- 28:09Speaker 1: You have three brothers that have all coached or are coaching.
- 28:14Speaker 1: And I know Bob a little bit because my family
- 28:15Speaker 1: is big Oklahoma, and so had Bob on the show
- 28:18Speaker 1: a couple of times and been lucky enough to to
- 28:20Speaker 1: spend a little time with him. Do you ever use
- 28:22Speaker 1: them as like analysts, like like recreational analysts.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, definitely, you know, as I always say, like,
- 28:32Speaker 4: you know, Bob has been through it, and so has Mike.
- 28:35Speaker 4: I'm fortunate to have Mike with me here now. And
- 28:39Speaker 4: Mike's Mike's the type of guy like he's in it.
- 28:42Speaker 4: He coaches linebackers now, but he has great experience being
- 28:44Speaker 4: a coordinator, being a head coach, and you know, and
- 28:48Speaker 4: he's but he also trusts my judgment and you know,
- 28:51Speaker 4: he'll give input when needed. And Bob's the same way.
- 28:55Speaker 4: He's always a resource for me. I know, I could
- 28:57Speaker 4: pick up the phone and talk to him or kick
- 29:00Speaker 4: around ideas at any time, and I do on occasion.
- 29:04Speaker 4: And then you know, during the tough, tough moments and
- 29:06Speaker 4: in the season when he knows, uh, things are going rough,
- 29:10Speaker 4: you know, he understands that. He again, he trusts you
- 29:12Speaker 4: know what I'm doing. I've done it for a long
- 29:16Speaker 4: time here and and uh, you know, so I don't
- 29:19Speaker 4: think he oversteps, but I know he's always there and uh,
- 29:23Speaker 4: he's always willing to help. But you know, he also
- 29:27Speaker 4: lets me do my thing.
- 29:28Speaker 1: You know, the commissioner came out and said, hey, we're
- 29:30Speaker 1: going to do nine SEC games, and we're going to
- 29:32Speaker 1: do a one game against the Power four team. It
- 29:34Speaker 1: has to be another power forward and so some some
- 29:36Speaker 1: teams are having to modify schedules next year because it's
- 29:40Speaker 1: going to start next year. What are your feelings on
- 29:42Speaker 1: adding an SEC game?
- 29:44Speaker 4: You know, I think, you know, I've been on record
- 29:46Speaker 4: lately just saying, hey, bring it on, because I could
- 29:49Speaker 4: just tell it was going that way. I know, you know,
- 29:52Speaker 4: you could just feel that the commissioner wanted it that
- 29:54Speaker 4: way and in the leadership, and I trust their judgment
- 29:57Speaker 4: and it is what it is. And so you know,
- 30:00Speaker 4: for me, it's no business. You know, I have no
- 30:02Speaker 4: time fighting that or anything like that. I mean, obviously
- 30:06Speaker 4: it's a challenge for all of us. I think if
- 30:08Speaker 4: you asked any coach in the SEC if adding another
- 30:12Speaker 4: SEC game, they know the physicality that comes with that
- 30:16Speaker 4: and the challenge that comes with that. And you're adding
- 30:18Speaker 4: one more loss to have the league no matter what.
- 30:21Speaker 4: So it's a challenge. It's going to be very difficult,
- 30:24Speaker 4: but it is what it is. I mean, I'm in
- 30:26Speaker 4: a difficult situation, a difficult job each and every year.
- 30:29Speaker 4: I'm used to it.
- 30:30Speaker 1: So do you think then the CFP should go sixteen
- 30:33Speaker 1: teams to give the SEC another at large bit. I
- 30:36Speaker 1: feel like that's was the general sentiment as to why
- 30:38Speaker 1: they're doing it.
- 30:39Speaker 4: I mean, you know, however, the format the SEC is
- 30:43Speaker 4: going to get their teams in there. I mean, if
- 30:46Speaker 4: the people vote in which in selecting these members, which
- 30:50Speaker 4: I'm sure they're very educated, and we'll do a great job.
- 30:54Speaker 4: I mean, you can't help but put you know, some
- 30:56Speaker 4: SEC teams in there. If strength of schedule matters then
- 31:00Speaker 4: and you know, then people with common sense will understand
- 31:02Speaker 4: how difficult it is. But you know, for me, it's just,
- 31:05Speaker 4: you know, I don't worry about it too much. I
- 31:06Speaker 4: have a lot of work to do just to get
- 31:08Speaker 4: us in a good position to win our first game.
- 31:11Speaker 4: So that's really my concentration.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Are you friends with John Michael Montgomery?
- 31:15Speaker 4: I am, yeah. John Michael's happens to be a really
- 31:18Speaker 4: good friend of mine, and you know, in the early days, well,
- 31:22Speaker 4: I've been here thirteen years and we've played golf in
- 31:25Speaker 4: the off season a lot. He used to be in
- 31:26Speaker 4: a standard group that we'd have a little little money
- 31:29Speaker 4: game at their local course. And John Michael is still
- 31:32Speaker 4: a part of that. I haven't played with him as
- 31:34Speaker 4: much lately.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he was flexing on me that he played golf
- 31:37Speaker 1: with you, and I was like, I'm ask coach if
- 31:39Speaker 1: he actually played what kind of golfers John Michael.
- 31:42Speaker 4: John Michael's actually a good golfer. He's got a good swing.
- 31:47Speaker 4: You know, just like any of us that play recreational golfer,
- 31:50Speaker 4: we're going to go through some good days and bad days.
- 31:52Speaker 4: So when John Michael's in a good position there, he's
- 31:55Speaker 4: a good partner to have, that's for sure. And just
- 31:58Speaker 4: like any of us, there's days and you know you
- 32:01Speaker 4: want somebody else.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Did you get to play much golf before the season?
- 32:05Speaker 1: And I'm assuming no more golf.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Now, no more golf, and I'm done with the golf clubs.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Put them away, really and you know pretty much they're
- 32:14Speaker 4: away in July. You know, you might sneak a round
- 32:16Speaker 4: or two in July, but the best time for us
- 32:19Speaker 4: coaches or for myself is really you know, late spring
- 32:23Speaker 4: and early summer. You know, June is so busy for
- 32:26Speaker 4: us anymore. In July, it's kind of done, so we
- 32:28Speaker 4: have a quick little window. But I do love playing, Yeah, absolutely,
- 32:31Speaker 4: I like playing golf when I can, you know, but
- 32:35Speaker 4: unfortunately that's short window for us.
- 32:38Speaker 1: What's the expectation from you with this team this year?
- 32:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm on the record. I've talked a lot, as
- 32:45Speaker 4: you know, this time of year, and a lot of
- 32:46Speaker 4: speaking engagements and different things. But I've said it over
- 32:49Speaker 4: and over, but it's true. You know, I really can't wait,
- 32:52Speaker 4: you know, to to to go out there and take
- 32:55Speaker 4: the field here this Saturday. You know, we've put a
- 32:58Speaker 4: lot of work in and we need to. You know,
- 33:00Speaker 4: I wasn't very happy, very proud of the team last year.
- 33:04Speaker 4: We've been very consistent and had a very good program
- 33:07Speaker 4: for a long time in a difficult league, and I
- 33:11Speaker 4: just wasn't pleased, you know. We we failed to meet
- 33:14Speaker 4: our standard last year and and didn't play very good.
- 33:17Speaker 4: So we've put a lot of work into it through
- 33:19Speaker 4: the the winner and building this team and selecting the
- 33:22Speaker 4: right teammates and and developing them through the through the
- 33:26Speaker 4: off season, and so we put the work in. Now
- 33:30Speaker 4: it's time to go play. It's time to go execute
- 33:32Speaker 4: our plan, and I can't wait to see him play.
- 33:34Speaker 4: But I have high expectations for this team. I don't know.
- 33:37Speaker 4: I never put any you know, wins and lost totals
- 33:40Speaker 4: on it or anything like that. I just want to
- 33:43Speaker 4: represent this great state, in this university and do things
- 33:46Speaker 4: the right way like we have for a long time.
- 33:48Speaker 4: And uh, you know, we want to play very tough,
- 33:50Speaker 4: hard nosed football and be disciplined and execute and do
- 33:54Speaker 4: all the things that that that that people know when
- 33:57Speaker 4: they put on the film or they watched TV, they
- 34:00Speaker 4: see a team that's playing extremely hard and that's very
- 34:03Speaker 4: physical and you know, and it's fun to watch. So
- 34:08Speaker 4: you know, I'm excited to get it rolling.
- 34:09Speaker 1: It's kind of a dumb guy question, but you have
- 34:11Speaker 1: Toledo week one and ole Miss week two, so it's
- 34:14Speaker 1: a conference game coming up quick. How do you keep
- 34:17Speaker 1: focused on Toledo when Ole Miss is right around the
- 34:19Speaker 1: corner and that game means more because of the conference game.
- 34:22Speaker 4: Well, we all understand that the conference games are extremely important,
- 34:26Speaker 4: but let's be honest. I think you know and you
- 34:31Speaker 4: know here we always have to respect each and every opponent.
- 34:35Speaker 4: And Toledo's a very good football team, as you know.
- 34:38Speaker 4: They they're picked to the wind the MAC and they heck,
- 34:42Speaker 4: they have I want to say, thirteen or fourteen AP
- 34:46Speaker 4: top twenty five votes, and you know, some people are
- 34:49Speaker 4: picking them to be, you know, the group of five
- 34:52Speaker 4: representative in the playoffs. So you know, they're a very
- 34:56Speaker 4: good team. They went on the road last year and
- 34:59Speaker 4: beating that CC team pretty badly and also be the
- 35:04Speaker 4: power forward team in a bowl game in six overtimes.
- 35:07Speaker 4: So uh, they're they're a very good team. I have
- 35:09Speaker 4: a lot of respect, uh for for coach, and you
- 35:12Speaker 4: know what they've done. They've been there a long time,
- 35:14Speaker 4: and so we we just got to go take them
- 35:17Speaker 4: one at a time.
- 35:18Speaker 1: If I were to ask the refs what's the most
- 35:20Speaker 1: annoying thing about you on the sideline? What would they say? Coach?
- 35:23Speaker 4: I probably don't agree with every call there.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I would expect that to be the case. How
- 35:29Speaker 1: does that manifest itself with you?
- 35:32Speaker 4: Uh? You know, over the years, I've really tried to
- 35:34Speaker 4: calm down. I mean, you know, you know, because listen,
- 35:39Speaker 4: we're in a lot of close games, and you know,
- 35:42Speaker 4: a call, one call here or there can can swing games,
- 35:45Speaker 4: and and uh, you know, we work hard, and our
- 35:48Speaker 4: players work hard, and we're under a lot of pressure,
- 35:50Speaker 4: and you know, you have to be good enough to
- 35:52Speaker 4: overcome anything and and take whatever's dealt to you. And
- 35:56Speaker 4: you know, I've tried to take that approach, you know,
- 35:58Speaker 4: as I getting older and and calming down over the years,
- 36:01Speaker 4: and and you know, don't want to overreact to anything.
- 36:04Speaker 4: You know, again, you just have to be able to
- 36:06Speaker 4: overcome any situation, and that's what I'm trying to do.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I suspected having the press conference after a win is
- 36:13Speaker 1: a lot easier than a loss. Do you ever have
- 36:15Speaker 1: to like regather yourself before you go out after a
- 36:17Speaker 1: loss and go all right, I know I'm triggered right now,
- 36:20Speaker 1: but I need to go and actually like present something
- 36:23Speaker 1: suitable instead of something angry.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Absolutely, yeah, definitely yeah. And you know there's times when
- 36:29Speaker 4: I just have to you know, obviously I talk to
- 36:33Speaker 4: the team and address the team and go through that,
- 36:36Speaker 4: and then have to go into my locker room over
- 36:39Speaker 4: in the stadium and just gather myself for a minute
- 36:42Speaker 4: and get my thoughts. For sure. You know, you don't
- 36:46Speaker 4: want to go out there and say something that you regret.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Then you want to make sure you handle yourself the
- 36:50Speaker 4: best you can in all situations. So generally, you know,
- 36:54Speaker 4: there's been there's been really you know, big highs and
- 36:58Speaker 4: big wins as well long with some really tough defeats,
- 37:01Speaker 4: and either way, I try to just regroup and gather
- 37:04Speaker 4: myself and make sure you have some clear thoughts before
- 37:07Speaker 4: you go into that.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I have two final questions for you, and this is
- 37:10Speaker 1: going to go back to like the late nineties when
- 37:13Speaker 1: you were the defensive back coach at South Florida and
- 37:16Speaker 1: then from there you went to Wyoming. The juxtaposition that's
- 37:20Speaker 1: difficult because it's like sunny and awesome and then all
- 37:22Speaker 1: of a sudden you're in three layers of coats.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, boy, you did your homework on me here.
- 37:28Speaker 4: That's going back a long ways. That that's a drastic
- 37:31Speaker 4: change for sure, going from South Florida. Let me thank you. Yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 4: I went to South Florida to Wyoming, that's correct, and
- 37:42Speaker 4: then from Wyoming I went to Houston.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Yes see, hopefully you kept a short sleeve gear. Well,
- 37:47Speaker 1: that feels like that would be so cold in Wyoming
- 37:49Speaker 1: coaching in the winter. Was that the coldest of all
- 37:51Speaker 1: the jobs?
- 37:52Speaker 4: No question, it was definitely the coldest. I will say this,
- 37:55Speaker 4: A lot of people talk about that in Wyoming. But
- 37:57Speaker 4: I had a great experience at Wyoming. I worked with
- 38:01Speaker 4: the late Dana Demmel, who passed this past year, who's
- 38:04Speaker 4: a great man and a really good friend of mine.
- 38:07Speaker 4: But I had a great experience at Wyoming, I really did.
- 38:09Speaker 4: I have many great friends to this day, you know,
- 38:14Speaker 4: from from Wyoming in that experience. So but very cold,
- 38:18Speaker 4: very windy, difficult place to play.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Seems like a difficult place to throw if it's so
- 38:23Speaker 1: windy all the time. That you got to have a
- 38:25Speaker 1: big cannon arm like a Josh Allen, which probably which
- 38:27Speaker 1: is why he did so well there because he could
- 38:30Speaker 1: throw them all through the wind at times. Is that
- 38:32Speaker 1: crazy for me to think?
- 38:33Speaker 4: I definitely Josh Allen that was well after me. But
- 38:38Speaker 4: that's a great example of somebody that is not too
- 38:40Speaker 4: worried about the wind or the weather or whatever. He
- 38:42Speaker 4: could rip it no matter what.
- 38:44Speaker 1: All right, final question, what personnel group at Kentucky do
- 38:47Speaker 1: you think you're going to have the biggest growth from
- 38:51Speaker 1: this year?
- 38:51Speaker 4: I hope it's the offensive line. I talked a lot
- 38:53Speaker 4: about it. You know that. You know, we've had a
- 38:56Speaker 4: great tradition of being really strong in the offensive line
- 39:00Speaker 4: and being a very physical football team. Again, I think
- 39:02Speaker 4: we fell short of that last year, and that's my
- 39:06Speaker 4: job to get that fixed. And I think we've put
- 39:08Speaker 4: in a lot of work. I have a lot of
- 39:09Speaker 4: confidence in these guys. I know they care. I know
- 39:12Speaker 4: they work extremely hard and are very passionate about what
- 39:14Speaker 4: they do. And I hope you see great improvement from
- 39:17Speaker 4: that group this year as well.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Well.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Coach, good luck to you guys. And as the ultimate
- 39:21Speaker 1: sign of respect. And I don't do this for every
- 39:22Speaker 1: coach we have home, but I did pull my Arkansas
- 39:25Speaker 1: helmet out of the shot. I didn't want it to
- 39:26Speaker 1: be in the lead while I was talking to you
- 39:28Speaker 1: and my secondary helmet because I know Coach lophol I pulled.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I pulled the Kansas helmet out because I just want
- 39:33Speaker 1: this to only be about Kentucky and not these other
- 39:37Speaker 1: teams that, for this interview only are garbage.
- 39:40Speaker 4: Hey, well, thank you, I appreciate that. How about if
- 39:43Speaker 4: I send you a Kentucky helmet and you can put
- 39:45Speaker 4: it on your show every here and you know throughout
- 39:47Speaker 4: the year.
- 39:47Speaker 1: You know, if you sign it, I'd love to have it.
- 39:49Speaker 1: If you sign it, I'll put it up here on
- 39:51Speaker 1: the side.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Coach.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I appreciate that, and good luck to you guys this
- 39:53Speaker 1: year and hopefully I will come up there and see
- 39:56Speaker 1: a game at some point. So thanks and good luck,
- 39:58Speaker 1: and I hope you have a great week against Toledo.
- 39:59Speaker 4: Coach, Thank you so much. It was great being on
- 40:02Speaker 4: your show. I love what you do and you're always
- 40:04Speaker 4: welcome at Kentucky. Thank you very much.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Thank you, coach. Have a good day. I feel like
- 40:13Speaker 1: we do the show now I'm doing with two influencers. Yeah,
- 40:17Speaker 1: baby influencer and whatever the crap you're doing over What
- 40:19Speaker 1: do you mean?
- 40:19Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 40:19Speaker 5: Whoa are you talking to?
- 40:21Speaker 2: Eddie?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Oh?
- 40:22Speaker 2: And he? And you mean baby as in like h
- 40:24Speaker 2: father or influencer, a daddy influencer, baby influence What you
- 40:28Speaker 2: meant like I'm the papa influencer. He's the baby influencer.
- 40:32Speaker 1: No, okay, no, I know, well, I don't know what
- 40:36Speaker 1: you're doing on social media, but it's a creepy. What
- 40:38Speaker 1: do you mean, dude?
- 40:39Speaker 2: You told me to pick a lene in a lane.
- 40:42Speaker 2: It's weird and you're hating VI.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I'm not Why am I hating?
- 40:46Speaker 2: Because you're you're exposing what I'm trying to do on
- 40:49Speaker 2: my comments. I had to delete one of your comments.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Did you do that?
- 40:51Speaker 1: That's that's that's great for engagement.
- 40:53Speaker 2: No, no, yes it is.
- 40:55Speaker 5: What was it?
- 40:55Speaker 1: You deleted a comment?
- 40:56Speaker 2: He's like, somebody's making money off It's like, I don't
- 40:59Speaker 2: need that.
- 40:59Speaker 1: In the creator fun. That's the greatest engagement. That's bait.
- 41:03Speaker 2: No, the other one was good.
- 41:04Speaker 1: No, the fact that you deleted it.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Oh you didn't notice I deleted it.
- 41:07Speaker 1: No, I don't go back and look at my comment.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Your working counter what you're trying to do? Leave stuff
- 41:13Speaker 1: up like that?
- 41:14Speaker 2: So you know what I'm trying to do.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I wrote it.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but we don't need to tell you don't need
- 41:19Speaker 2: to pull the curtain on the Wizard of oz Man.
- 41:21Speaker 1: You're not a wizard, dude. So he did this video,
- 41:24Speaker 1: did you the want to give with the food the sandwich?
- 41:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 41:27Speaker 5: Breakfast yeah, break yeah. That was a good video.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Boom and he talks like a pedal Oh what's a
- 41:34Speaker 1: pedo file? Oh what are you talking about? Your voice
- 41:38Speaker 1: is like you say that boy, you have like pedal voice?
- 41:41Speaker 2: Shut up?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Can I come? We hear the clip? It says Eddie
- 41:44Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Decided to make a breakfast bagel. So let's fire up
- 41:47Speaker 2: that black songe. Start with the bake and pretty easy.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Just make sure everything is spread out that way. It
- 41:52Speaker 2: cooks even like flip them over when they look crispy
- 41:55Speaker 2: and set them off to the side so you can
- 41:57Speaker 2: dry off that excess oil. Now it's time to scrape
- 41:59Speaker 2: off some of that of our bacon stuff. But this
- 42:01Speaker 2: is important. Leave the bacon grease because that's what we're
- 42:03Speaker 2: going to cook our eggs on. Let's get the crack in.
- 42:05Speaker 2: It's just a simple, over easy egg.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Like you're talking to a child. Okay, here's the thing
- 42:11Speaker 1: we're gonna do.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about, but I didn't say.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Like, I think he has a weird voice when he
- 42:17Speaker 1: has his voice, offers Mike, I think, so, yeah, it's weird.
- 42:20Speaker 1: So that's the same voice you would say that to. Hey,
- 42:22Speaker 1: doesn't feel authentically, doesn't It feels super fake?
- 42:25Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 42:26Speaker 1: Like?
- 42:27Speaker 2: How is what's authentic? How do you tell someone to
- 42:29Speaker 2: make a breakfast sandwich? You do it ready, action, I
- 42:32Speaker 2: don't make breakfast sanwich? Okay, how do you make?
- 42:34Speaker 1: Just your voice? Who were the opery win that you
- 42:35Speaker 1: did a while ago? I just now remember this. We're like, dud,
- 42:37Speaker 1: why is your voice so weird? When you were like,
- 42:40Speaker 1: here's a day backstage at the opring. I remember the
- 42:43Speaker 1: last time I show up at the door, and it's like.
- 42:46Speaker 5: Dude, who you're trying to get? He was on his Instagram.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, who are you trying to get? To get
- 42:50Speaker 1: in the band with you again? That's what it feels like.
- 42:52Speaker 5: It's time to get on stage. Yeah, yeah, I got
- 42:56Speaker 5: candy over here.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Okay, so you're saying little more.
- 43:01Speaker 1: It doesn't feel authentic.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Authentic would be like real, real me would be like
- 43:06Speaker 2: all right, it's early in the morning, I need breakfast, right, Like,
- 43:09Speaker 2: let's just make some eggs, get the bagel, put some
- 43:12Speaker 2: butter on it.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Like, what is to you being authentic? What do you
- 43:17Speaker 1: want me to do?
- 43:18Speaker 2: I'm trying to be me.
- 43:19Speaker 1: It feels like you're doing a cartoon voice. It feels
- 43:21Speaker 1: like I have a creepy voice.
- 43:21Speaker 2: A little bit. Maybe it's the mic I'm using.
- 43:24Speaker 1: No, like when you talk now, you talk normal.
- 43:26Speaker 2: But you get the roll, bagel, bagel.
- 43:29Speaker 1: You get the bagel, and the first thing you do
- 43:31Speaker 1: is you put a little leg on it. Hey, let's
- 43:33Speaker 1: get the crack. Let's get I thought the video was good.
- 43:37Speaker 6: The video is awesome, but the voiceover, yeah, it was
- 43:39Speaker 6: so weird. I couldn't watch it. I was like, Oh,
- 43:41Speaker 6: I can't do this man. You guys like I get
- 43:44Speaker 6: second thoughts every time I do these. Now you're just
- 43:46Speaker 6: like criticizing my influencing.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Yes, well all based on love?
- 43:53Speaker 4: No?
- 43:53Speaker 2: Oh no hate? No?
- 43:56Speaker 1: Why why are we being so hard on you?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Because it's something I knew that I'm doing.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Used to it because you hated on Kevin so hard
- 44:03Speaker 1: when he started doing it.
- 44:04Speaker 2: But dude, I did forever.
- 44:06Speaker 1: It's not about a dad for like, it doesn't matter.
- 44:09Speaker 1: You were such a hater when he started making videos
- 44:11Speaker 1: and you're like, what's he trying to do? It's so stupid,
- 44:13Speaker 1: And then you didn't start doing being an influencer after him.
- 44:17Speaker 1: We have to bust your balls.
- 44:19Speaker 2: So I don't sound like a pedo.
- 44:20Speaker 1: You're just busting it's pedal voice.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Voice now when I do a voice, So we're gonna
- 44:26Speaker 2: be like, don't sound like a pet, don't.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Like exaggerate the happiness.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Oh but I'm trying to do Let me get the cracking.
- 44:33Speaker 1: But you don't have to be sad it should be normal.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Okay, gosh, that's tough, all right. I really thought I
- 44:40Speaker 2: was doing my my I thought I was doing my
- 44:42Speaker 2: real voice. But I definitely don't want my real voice
- 44:43Speaker 2: to be.
- 44:44Speaker 1: That well pedal voice. You can avoid that. Let me
- 44:46Speaker 1: go back and see if I can find your the
- 44:49Speaker 1: opry one. Yeah, because I remember. I only remember it
- 44:51Speaker 1: halfway through the segment that we've had this issue before.
- 44:54Speaker 1: We were like, what what the this issue before?
- 44:58Speaker 2: Like you guys talked about it, Like we didn't talk
- 45:00Speaker 2: to Addy about that.
- 45:01Speaker 1: No, we talked about it on the show, right, Mike, Yeah,
- 45:03Speaker 1: we did video.
- 45:05Speaker 5: I mean the food look really good on the video.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Thank you, dude.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I will say that I'll just keep my mouth shut,
- 45:09Speaker 1: but you can't be deleting comments.
- 45:11Speaker 2: It's just yours.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, don't be deleting my comments.
- 45:14Speaker 5: The biggest comment of them all.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Well, he's like pulling the curtain on the wizard.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Dude.
- 45:18Speaker 2: I was like, man, you don't need to tell.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Her you're not a wizard.
- 45:21Speaker 4: All.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I want people to forget that I'm making money off those.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Munchkin the best right now? Why do you think everybody
- 45:26Speaker 1: thinks you're doing it?
- 45:28Speaker 2: Well, now everyone's just like, Hey, I'm just comment here
- 45:30Speaker 2: so you get a couple of dollars.
- 45:31Speaker 1: That's what I would do. Yeah, let that live, Let
- 45:34Speaker 1: that be in the same space I'm looking now.
- 45:36Speaker 5: Some people comment on it like I love that you're
- 45:38Speaker 5: making money off of it.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Or something else. People do it all like let that
- 45:40Speaker 1: be your thing instead of just put it because what now?
- 45:43Speaker 2: Making money is my thing? Not cooking.
- 45:45Speaker 1: No, but people will be a part of the joke.
- 45:47Speaker 1: They'll put they'll post in the comment.
- 45:48Speaker 2: It's not a joke, dude, I'm really trying to do food. Like, hey,
- 45:53Speaker 2: you didn't like that bagel? Did you not look at
- 45:55Speaker 2: that video?
- 45:56Speaker 1: I couldn't even look at the end because I thought
- 45:57Speaker 1: the voice was so creepy.
- 45:58Speaker 2: My gos Kevin, do you want the bagel?
- 46:01Speaker 1: I mean I went all the way through Eddie's videos
- 46:04Speaker 1: that was salads.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Food I can't find Yeah, because that was a long
- 46:07Speaker 2: time ago, dude, a shot. Yeah, but what's the last
- 46:11Speaker 2: time we've been to the opry. It's been a well
- 46:13Speaker 2: I played a few weeks ago. Well that's you, I mean.
- 46:16Speaker 5: Us, wasn't that It was like a year or so ago?
- 46:19Speaker 2: Maybe two years?
- 46:20Speaker 5: Was that long ago?
- 46:21Speaker 1: Here's an Opry video.
- 46:22Speaker 2: But that's and that's crazy that you still if that's
- 46:24Speaker 2: two years ago ago. This is the day in the
- 46:27Speaker 2: life of someone who's lucky enough to play the Grand
- 46:30Speaker 2: Old Opry.
- 46:31Speaker 1: That's me.
- 46:32Speaker 2: When you get their, security tells you're dark, and then
- 46:34Speaker 2: you go through the Grand Ole Opry artist entrance and
- 46:37Speaker 2: you think, gosh, how many amazing people have walked through
- 46:40Speaker 2: here before me. Then security tells you where your dressing
- 46:43Speaker 2: room is. I thought we were in dressing room five.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Turns out we were in dressing room six. Then you
- 46:48Speaker 2: tune your guitar up because they tell you you're about
- 46:50Speaker 2: to go on in about twenty minutes and you better
- 46:52Speaker 2: sound good. Then you look outside your room and Vince
- 46:55Speaker 2: Neil from Motley Cruiz walking by, What this place is crazy?
- 47:00Speaker 1: It's time to go on stage.
- 47:03Speaker 2: That sounds like a FEEDO is it in there?
- 47:06Speaker 1: You know the internet's bad. Maybe the internet had it too.
- 47:09Speaker 1: They're like, we can't, we can't do.
- 47:14Speaker 5: But do you hear it there?
- 47:15Speaker 2: I definitely hear it there. I don't hear it in
- 47:16Speaker 2: the Cooking one, but definitely hear it there.
- 47:18Speaker 5: I think the music helps in the Cooking one.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Thank you crack it up.
- 47:22Speaker 2: No, let's get cracking whatever it is.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Okay, Well that's all.
- 47:26Speaker 2: Hey did I get a shot of Vince Neil walking
- 47:28Speaker 2: by there?
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cool he walks by the room. Speaking of videos,
- 47:31Speaker 1: you see the Will Smith video, Mike, Yeah, so Will
- 47:34Speaker 1: Smith is doing a concert video and he's like, and
- 47:37Speaker 1: all the fans. It's apparently it's all AI. AI had
- 47:41Speaker 1: all the fans. And the reason they the reason they
- 47:43Speaker 1: know is because again according to the comments, they would
- 47:46Speaker 1: zoom in on some of the signs and they were
- 47:47Speaker 1: spelled like AI spell stuff because A I can't spell.
- 47:49Speaker 5: If you look at the facers are like scrambled a
- 47:51Speaker 5: little bit.
- 47:52Speaker 2: I think somebody even said somebody had five fingers one
- 47:54Speaker 2: of the hands that were outreaching numb fingers and a thumb.
- 47:58Speaker 5: I did see it, and I saw like people crying,
- 48:00Speaker 5: like why are people crying?
- 48:01Speaker 2: Out a Will.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Smith, And it was like, take me to bel Air,
- 48:04Speaker 1: like all these great signs, but how crazy he aid
- 48:07Speaker 1: an entire concert. I wanted people to believe it. Now.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I have aied Stanley the bulldog swimming in a pull
- 48:12Speaker 1: with the deer. But then I met that quickly with
- 48:14Speaker 1: swimming in the pol with an alligator then swimming in
- 48:16Speaker 1: the pool with it was a pig. So then people
- 48:19Speaker 1: started to know it as a joke. And the second
- 48:21Speaker 1: one that I did was Stanley at the dog Door
- 48:24Speaker 1: and Stanley comes in the dog door and then a
- 48:25Speaker 1: Bobcat comes in and lays in a bed beside him.
- 48:27Speaker 1: But that's awesome. People are like, oh, that's crazy. So
- 48:29Speaker 1: then after that did the eagle, like eagle comes in
- 48:32Speaker 1: the dog door, and so AI videos they're easy to
- 48:35Speaker 1: make look pretty real, but then you have to like admit.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I think my admission is when I amplify the videos
- 48:42Speaker 1: to get crazier and crazier, then people get it.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Yeah immediately, yeah, yeah, bobcat alligator.
- 48:47Speaker 5: As soon as you threw an alligator and they were like, yeah,
- 48:49Speaker 5: I did a dinosaur too.
- 48:50Speaker 1: You really make sure people knew, like it was Stanley
- 48:53Speaker 1: on the side of the pole, the dinosaur swimming in it.
- 48:55Speaker 1: So uh, it's crazy that he tried to get away
- 48:59Speaker 1: with that knowing that people are gonna spot.
- 49:00Speaker 7: He's kind of like the origin of Age AI. Whenever
- 49:03Speaker 7: they first came out with that video of like him
- 49:04Speaker 7: meeting spaghetti. Oh yeah, it was like Will Smith eating spaghetti.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:07Speaker 5: Oh, I thought you're talking about the movie.
- 49:09Speaker 1: No, the old old video of it's like a meme
- 49:12Speaker 1: now too. Yeah. Man, yeah, I felt bad for him,
- 49:16Speaker 1: but it's not like he tries to still be cool.
- 49:18Speaker 7: Yeah, because you've seen I've seen videos of him performing
- 49:20Speaker 7: on the street and like nobody gives a crab. He
- 49:23Speaker 7: was like, in this big crowd of people, it's like
- 49:24Speaker 7: him and Rida warr No, nobody cares, no way that
- 49:27Speaker 7: people are buying tickets to a will Smith concert and
- 49:29Speaker 7: being that excited.
- 49:30Speaker 1: He's also trying to still be hard. Yeah, meaning he's
- 49:34Speaker 1: like I saw one where he's doing no Crowd. He
- 49:36Speaker 1: had headphones on and he's like, yeah, uh yeah, here
- 49:38Speaker 1: I am still doing my thing. You know. I got
- 49:41Speaker 1: five on, yeah, five rings and here I go, still
- 49:43Speaker 1: manipulating and everybody salivate and it's like, dude, just chill
- 49:47Speaker 1: like something act bizarre. Yeah, it's like, dude, I think
- 49:52Speaker 1: it's fun to do like old fresh print stuff that
- 49:54Speaker 1: would be fun and adds, but can't. You're not hard anymore.
- 49:56Speaker 1: You're like sixty.
- 49:58Speaker 5: He was like, I bite off more than I can chew,
- 50:00Speaker 5: and then I chew it and say that That's what
- 50:03Speaker 5: he said.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Him rapping now is like Eddie doing voiceover. Oh no,
- 50:08Speaker 1: it's going to come back around. It's going to come
- 50:10Speaker 1: back around. It just feels inauthentic and a little creepy.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Yeah, which one both.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Both? So my you don't have to take it. My
- 50:20Speaker 1: advice would be just be a little more normal when
- 50:22Speaker 1: you do your voiceovers.
- 50:23Speaker 2: You know what I will say, thank you for not
- 50:25Speaker 2: posting this sounds like a pedophile.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I didn't write that.
- 50:29Speaker 5: Voice.
- 50:31Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 50:33Speaker 1: That's what friends are for. If I should say that,

- 50:49Speaker 5: Oh the chrome would be the best.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Well, mostly to me, it's like, don't want blue or white?
- 50:54Speaker 5: I don't really care.
- 50:55Speaker 1: And I was just like, hey, I took I did
- 50:57Speaker 1: take the arkits on helmet out of the front because
- 50:59Speaker 1: I felt he's an SEC school Okay, I didn't want
- 51:01Speaker 1: to have an arkis at home. I'm talking to the
- 51:03Speaker 1: Kentucky coach disrespectful. Yeah, but I did highlight them to
- 51:06Speaker 1: see if he would like take the bait and be like, well,
