Smyrna means Myrrh.. Mark 15 records that Jesus was offered wine mixed with Myrrh on the cross. He wouldn't take it. Myrrh was and is a natural pain killer. He refused to numb Himself to what He had to suffer. What are we using to numb ourselves? What forms of myrrh are we accepting.. Mental myrrh, money myrrh, medicinal myrrh, mission myrrh..
