- 0:14Speaker 1: I'm going to go to the Word of God. I
- 0:16Speaker 1: think I got everything done, Amen that needed to be done.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I'm excited. Go to Matthew six twenty five through thirty four,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and let's go to the Word. Let's go to work.
- 0:34Speaker 1: By the way, Matthew six is something you ought to
- 0:37Speaker 1: include in your Bible study in parting in case I
- 0:42Speaker 1: don't finish today. But it's just it's just a great text.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's just a great text. And we're going to be
- 0:50Speaker 1: reading out the NIV. If you're watching online, we'll put
- 0:54Speaker 1: it up on the screen for you, the Gospel of
- 0:56Speaker 1: Saint Matthew six twenty five through thirty four. Therefore, I
- 1:02Speaker 1: tell you, do not worry about your life. I told you,
- 1:09Speaker 1: do not worry about your life. Like what you will
- 1:13Speaker 1: eat or drink, or about your body what you will wear,
- 1:18Speaker 1: is not life more than food in the body, more
- 1:20Speaker 1: than clothes. Look at the birds of their They do
- 1:24Speaker 1: not sow or reap or store away in burns. And
- 1:27Speaker 1: yet are your heavenly Father feeds him? Are you not
- 1:31Speaker 1: much more valuable than they can? Any one of you
- 1:36Speaker 1: by worrying add a single hour to your life? And
- 1:42Speaker 1: why do you worry about clothes. See how the flowers
- 1:45Speaker 1: of the field grow. They do not labor or spend.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yet I tell you that not even Solomon and all
- 1:53Speaker 1: his splendor, was dressed like one of these. If that
- 1:58Speaker 1: is how God closes the grad of the field, which
- 2:01Speaker 1: is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire,
- 2:05Speaker 1: will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So do not worry saying what shall we eat, or
- 2:15Speaker 1: what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For
- 2:19Speaker 1: the pagans run after all these things. And your heavenly
- 2:22Speaker 1: Father knows that you need them. He's not against them.
- 2:25Speaker 1: He knows that you need them. But seek first, But
- 2:31Speaker 1: see key first, his kingdom and his righteousness, and all
- 2:37Speaker 1: these things will be given to you. And all these things.
- 2:41Speaker 1: He's not preaching against things. He's talking about priorities. All
- 2:46Speaker 1: these things will be given to you as well. Therefore,
- 2:51Speaker 1: do not worry. And this is what I want you
- 2:54Speaker 1: to look at. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. Say
- 2:59Speaker 1: that with me. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. Yeah,
- 3:05Speaker 1: say it again. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow. The
- 3:10Speaker 1: reason I have you saying it is that it is
- 3:13Speaker 1: you know that faith coming by hearing and hearing by
- 3:15Speaker 1: the word of God. But your soul needs to hear
- 3:18Speaker 1: yourself say. Do not worry. It's one thing to hear
- 3:23Speaker 1: me say. But when you say it to yourself, when
- 3:26Speaker 1: you say things to yourself, you give birth inside of yourself. Oh, therefore,
- 3:32Speaker 1: do not worry about tomorrow, for to tomorrow will worry
- 3:36Speaker 1: about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Isn't that good? I want to preach this morning, tomorrow
- 3:48Speaker 1: belongs to God. Somebody say tomorrow belongs to God. Say
- 3:56Speaker 1: it again, tomorrow belongs to God. Let's pray, spirit of
- 4:01Speaker 1: the Living God falls fresh on us today as we
- 4:04Speaker 1: delve into your word. We need your word, your precepts,
- 4:07Speaker 1: your guidance, your direction, your correction, your instruction. Inflame the
- 4:12Speaker 1: Word of God inside of us. Let it swell up
- 4:15Speaker 1: in us, Let it be magnified, let it multiply, Let
- 4:18Speaker 1: it be fruitful in us. In the name of Jesus,
- 4:21Speaker 1: we pray. Amen. On your way to your seat, say
- 4:24Speaker 1: tomorrow belongs to God. Type it on the line, Tomorrow
- 4:29Speaker 1: belongs to God. You know, whenever somebody asks you how
- 4:39Speaker 1: you're doing, I always make the reference that nobody stops
- 4:43Speaker 1: for you to answer, And then I started thinking about it,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and I started realizing if they were to stop, what
- 4:52Speaker 1: would I answer? Because really, how I'm doing is a
- 4:56Speaker 1: big conversation. It depends on which me you talking about,
- 5:03Speaker 1: about ten of us going on? How am I doing
- 5:05Speaker 1: in my body? How am I doing in my finances?
- 5:07Speaker 1: How am I doing in my mind? How am I
- 5:09Speaker 1: doing in my business? How am I doing in my family?
- 5:11Speaker 1: How am I doing? All kinds of way emotionally, this
- 5:14Speaker 1: is mental health. How am I doing is a long conversation.
- 5:18Speaker 1: So if you don't have like three or four hours,
- 5:20Speaker 1: just wave at me, don't ask me no questions. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: don't have time to spend time getting the answer to.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Maybe it's just me, But how many of you have
- 5:30Speaker 1: found yourself struggling to rest in today for fear of tomorrow,
- 5:37Speaker 1: Struggling to rest in today for fear of tomorrow. We're
- 5:41Speaker 1: living in the most uncertain times that I have ever seen.
- 5:45Speaker 1: You can't be quite sure of anything. You can't be
- 5:48Speaker 1: sure of the values of our world, of our country,
- 5:52Speaker 1: of our government, of the place you work. You can't
- 5:54Speaker 1: be sure. Everything shifting, everybody's shifting, everybody's gone blind to
- 6:00Speaker 1: what they said yesterday. There are no absolutes anymore. Things
- 6:05Speaker 1: don't have to be bad just to be threatening. It's
- 6:11Speaker 1: not that something has happened. It's like a cloud of
- 6:16Speaker 1: Suppose this doesn't work, Suppose that doesn't work. Supposed this happened,
- 6:19Speaker 1: Supposed that happened. Suppose supposed, suppose. Often the threat tests
- 6:24Speaker 1: solely in the rest, solely in the crevices of your
- 6:28Speaker 1: own mind. And if I'm the only one that ever
- 6:32Speaker 1: feels threatened, just threatening. Sometimes you don't even know what
- 6:38Speaker 1: you're threatened about, you just feel threatened.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It's often the threat tests solely in the crevices of
- 6:46Speaker 1: your mind, to the point that you wake up late
- 6:48Speaker 1: at night and it's like the night of the living dead,
- 6:53Speaker 1: and you find yourself in situations and circumstances where all
- 6:57Speaker 1: these entuned issues come out in your dreams, come out
- 7:03Speaker 1: in insomnia, or just an overall feeling of this ease.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We should really look at that word, this ease, because
- 7:15Speaker 1: we say it disease, But disease is this ease. Your
- 7:23Speaker 1: body was not designed to ingest this ease, and yet
- 7:29Speaker 1: we are living in a world that is increasingly diseasing.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You know, I stopped listening at the same story play
- 7:40Speaker 1: over and over on the news, over and over again,
- 7:42Speaker 1: because I don't need to reinforce I heard that already.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I don't need to hear everybody comment on everything about it,
- 7:49Speaker 1: because it creates a spirit of this ease. And the
- 7:53Speaker 1: reason we have a home is a place to rest in,
- 7:57Speaker 1: a place to relax in, a place to to renew
- 8:01Speaker 1: yourself in it. And I don't mean all things are
- 8:03Speaker 1: going bad, that's one thing. But when your life is
- 8:08Speaker 1: an oxymoron, you know it's an oxymoron is when two
- 8:14Speaker 1: contrasting things coexist in the same space, like hot ice
- 8:22Speaker 1: and Oxamoron is a term that doesn't make sense, and
- 8:25Speaker 1: yet it is true. Your life doesn't make sense, and
- 8:28Speaker 1: yet it is true. It kind of reminds me of
- 8:30Speaker 1: Charles Dicken's statement, and I quote it was the best
- 8:34Speaker 1: of times and it was the worst of times. It
- 8:38Speaker 1: was the age of wisdom, It was the age of foolishness.
- 8:43Speaker 1: It was the epoch of belief, It was the epoch
- 8:46Speaker 1: of incredulity. It was the season of light, it was
- 8:51Speaker 1: the season of darkness. It was the spring of hope,
- 8:56Speaker 1: and it was the winter of despair. All at the
- 8:59Speaker 1: same time, and you're weaving through the traffic of laughter
- 9:06Speaker 1: and tears, weaving through the traffic trying dogs, the cars
- 9:12Speaker 1: of pain and power, of goodness and agony, all at
- 9:18Speaker 1: the same time, staring out of a glass that should
- 9:22Speaker 1: be clear late at night, a window that is darkened
- 9:26Speaker 1: by night. Instead, all we see is the sleepless eyes
- 9:29Speaker 1: staring out of glass so blackened by night. That your
- 9:33Speaker 1: house is a house of mirrors, and your life resembles
- 9:37Speaker 1: the carnival. You don't understand what I'm saying unless you've
- 9:42Speaker 1: woken up and woke up in the middle of the
- 9:44Speaker 1: night and stared out over a window where you couldn't
- 9:46Speaker 1: see anything except your own reflection, and instead of it
- 9:51Speaker 1: being a house of rest, it is a carnival of disease.
- 9:55Speaker 1: A bill we can't pay, a child we can't heal,
- 10:02Speaker 1: a job we hate, or a lurking sense of danger
- 10:09Speaker 1: is in a roommate to an impending blessing. A lurking
- 10:14Speaker 1: sense of danger is roommate to an impending blessing. So
- 10:18Speaker 1: on one hand, I'm the happiest saddest I've ever been.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm the hobby is saddest I've ever been I'm the
- 10:31Speaker 1: most victorious, defeated I've ever been. I'm the most I'm
- 10:36Speaker 1: the most accomplished, insecure I've ever been, all at the
- 10:39Speaker 1: same time, best and worst of times, all at the
- 10:43Speaker 1: same time. Is there anybody in here that can relate
- 10:45Speaker 1: to it? Now? I know that there is a spiritual
- 10:50Speaker 1: quorum of people in here who only profess what's good.
- 10:54Speaker 1: But when nobody's looking, you worry about what's bad. You
- 10:58Speaker 1: always have a positive confession, and I'm not hating on
- 11:01Speaker 1: you going with your positive confession, But to the people
- 11:04Speaker 1: who want to keep it real in here, you live
- 11:12Speaker 1: your life braced almost for the next shoe to drop,
- 11:16Speaker 1: and you don't know which shoe is gonna be. Is
- 11:18Speaker 1: it gonna be a blessing shoe or is it gonna
- 11:20Speaker 1: be a burdensome shoe? But you brace for it either
- 11:23Speaker 1: way it comes. Either way it comes, I gotta deal
- 11:25Speaker 1: with it whatever it is. Uncertainty is worse than the
- 11:30Speaker 1: shoe drop? Can anybody relate to what I'm talking about?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Why the weapons of our warfare are not more accessible
- 11:39Speaker 1: when we need them the most. I don't need the
- 11:41Speaker 1: weapons of my warfare so much. In church, I need
- 11:48Speaker 1: the weapons of my warfare to activate at three o'clock
- 11:52Speaker 1: in the morning. Come on, I need the weapons of
- 11:56Speaker 1: my warfare to activate when I'm in the grocery store
- 11:59Speaker 1: and somebody has said something to me so crazy that
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm not sure whether I'm called a ministry or not.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I might be called to be a part of the crypts.
- 12:14Speaker 1: There are people that make me feel like a gang
- 12:16Speaker 1: leader every now and then, and I need the weapons
- 12:19Speaker 1: of my warfare to work for me, right then? Why
- 12:23Speaker 1: are they not more accessible? Because you can get into
- 12:26Speaker 1: crisis in the storm, in the tests, in the hospital,
- 12:29Speaker 1: in the rain, at the cemetery, at the RS meeting,
- 12:33Speaker 1: at the accountant's office, and forget everything you heard Sunday.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It's not that we don't have the weapons. They're not
- 12:46Speaker 1: always accessible because we don't use them enough to keep
- 12:51Speaker 1: them close enough that they become a norm. They become
- 12:54Speaker 1: a Sunday morning accessory and in the time of trouble,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you got it. You got it in trouble, but you
- 13:01Speaker 1: got to find it, you know. It reminds me of
- 13:06Speaker 1: several years ago we were at Women that Aren't Losing.
- 13:08Speaker 1: It was the first really big one. We had fifty
- 13:10Speaker 1: four thousand women and we were in Atlanta, and I
- 13:13Speaker 1: was amazed and worried and happy and sad and glad
- 13:16Speaker 1: and confident and nervous and walking by faith and scared
- 13:20Speaker 1: to death and all. So this has been going on
- 13:23Speaker 1: a long time. Fifty four thousand women and we made
- 13:25Speaker 1: it to the end of the conference. We had filled
- 13:28Speaker 1: up half of the Georgia Dome with fifty four thousand women.
- 13:31Speaker 1: We had packed it out for us at that time.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That was really great success. And everybody was leaving. It
- 13:36Speaker 1: was wonderful. It was a success. The power of God failed.
- 13:39Speaker 1: People were healed, they were delivered, all kinds of things happen.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Yolks were broken over, people had been abused and molested
- 13:45Speaker 1: and the astral side. And it was a powerful meeting.
- 13:48Speaker 1: And it was so powerful that even after the meeting
- 13:51Speaker 1: was over, we went to the airport and we were
- 13:54Speaker 1: singing in the airport. You get fifty four thousand, predominantly
- 13:59Speaker 1: black women and singing in the airport, and the security
- 14:03Speaker 1: goes nothing. They don't know what to do. People laying
- 14:06Speaker 1: hands on people in the restaurant. See our culture. When
- 14:11Speaker 1: we get happy, we don't hide it. When we get mad,
- 14:16Speaker 1: we don't hide it. When we dance, we don't hide
- 14:20Speaker 1: it whatever we feel. You gonna get some of that today.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Multiply about fifty four thousand and you will see the picture.
- 14:30Speaker 1: We besiege the airport. We filled it with glee and
- 14:36Speaker 1: singing all in the corridor. It was crazy. We turned
- 14:38Speaker 1: it into church. Women are loose too. I mean people
- 14:45Speaker 1: like the Pace Sisters and the Clock Sisters and all
- 14:48Speaker 1: these people were all there in the airport and we
- 14:51Speaker 1: were getting it on and people were taking pictures. And
- 14:55Speaker 1: I was young then they were taking pictures and all
- 14:57Speaker 1: up in my face and I was trying to wave
- 15:00Speaker 1: and everybody and check my bag, saying and go through
- 15:03Speaker 1: the magnometer. And everything was wonderful, and oh, thank you
- 15:07Speaker 1: for having it you gods man, Holly knew ya, Thank
- 15:10Speaker 1: you Jesus, going to God. I want a picture with
- 15:13Speaker 1: the Man of God. And I'm going through there, and
- 15:16Speaker 1: my family's going through there, and we're going through the airport,
- 15:18Speaker 1: and I got my mom with men. We're having a
- 15:21Speaker 1: wonderful time. Generations of women rejoicing. When you got fifty
- 15:26Speaker 1: four thousand women taking pictures and screaming, all the other
- 15:30Speaker 1: people was trying to figure out who is he and
- 15:34Speaker 1: I wasn't sure how to answer that question, because it
- 15:39Speaker 1: takes years to answer that question who is he? But
- 15:46Speaker 1: I was sure I was going to be waving and
- 15:49Speaker 1: being nice. I've always been gregarious, and I'm going I
- 15:52Speaker 1: was waving at people, and they was taking pictures, and
- 15:54Speaker 1: I was posing with strangers and taking pictures with babies
- 15:58Speaker 1: and all that stuff. All of a sudden, I looked
- 16:00Speaker 1: around and we were surrounded by police, and I thought,
- 16:05Speaker 1: what happened? We were the magnominies checking in our bags
- 16:09Speaker 1: and I was taking pictures and everything. I wasn't paying
- 16:12Speaker 1: a whole lot of attention. And the next thing I knew,
- 16:14Speaker 1: police were haul around me. Come to find out, one
- 16:21Speaker 1: of our bags had a pearl revolver in it, and
- 16:29Speaker 1: it was my mother's. Now you got to understand this.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I got all these security and deacons and friends and
- 16:48Speaker 1: all these people right there there, ain't got nothing. My
- 16:50Speaker 1: mother is loaded. Okay, she got a little baby glocked
- 16:57Speaker 1: down in her pocketbook. You talked about which would and
- 17:04Speaker 1: we're going through the thing, and all of a sudden
- 17:05Speaker 1: they said, we found this in the bag. Now it
- 17:07Speaker 1: is a big bag, it's her pocketbook, and my mother
- 17:13Speaker 1: carried big pocketbooks, and it was in the bottom of
- 17:16Speaker 1: the pocketbook. I was so mad at I told you,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I got fifty four thousand women around me and taking pictures,
- 17:26Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, the police have surrounded us
- 17:28Speaker 1: and they're taking us in the back. And I seriously
- 17:31Speaker 1: thought about taking her life. I thought, I take you
- 17:36Speaker 1: out right now. And she was embarrassed, but she said,
- 17:41Speaker 1: this is what she said to me. It was just
- 17:44Speaker 1: a little one, like I left the machine gun at home,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you know, so you ought to be glad. I didn't
- 17:56Speaker 1: bring my real stuff out here, but you know, it
- 18:00Speaker 1: was just a little The thing that amazed me, though,
- 18:03Speaker 1: is that it was under the makeup. It was under
- 18:05Speaker 1: all kinds of tissues, it was under all kinds of
- 18:08Speaker 1: other stuff. But if somebody would have snatched us. By
- 18:11Speaker 1: the time she got to the gun, I said, Mama,
- 18:16Speaker 1: why are you carrying a gun you can't access. If
- 18:28Speaker 1: you're gonna carry the thing up in here, at least
- 18:33Speaker 1: be able to get to it. I could see my
- 18:36Speaker 1: mama saying, well, you just wait a minute. Wait, wait
- 18:39Speaker 1: a minute, you keep talking a minute. When I get
- 18:42Speaker 1: to this, I'm gonna shut you of my body and
- 18:45Speaker 1: we'd all been dead. How accessible are your weapons? You
- 19:01Speaker 1: have them, but can you reach them in time, in
- 19:04Speaker 1: the time of trouble, in the time of stress, in
- 19:07Speaker 1: the time of agony, in the time of pain, in
- 19:10Speaker 1: the time of frustration and agony and disorientation and disase.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Do you only have your weapons when you come to church?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Or does it work in your house? Does it work
- 19:23Speaker 1: on your job? Does it work at two o'clock in
- 19:25Speaker 1: the morning, doesn't work when all hell comes against you.
- 19:28Speaker 1: It's not enough to teach you to carry it if
- 19:31Speaker 1: you can't reach it. You got to be able to activate.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Somebody say, activate. You got to be able to activate.
- 19:41Speaker 1: You gotta be able to activate it. You can't. You
- 19:43Speaker 1: can't activate your faith if it's in the bottom of
- 19:47Speaker 1: your pocketbook. Mama, you can't activate what you can't access.
- 19:59Speaker 1: The chilenge that Jesus is having is to try to
- 20:04Speaker 1: teach his disciples to make prayer a lifestyle, to make
- 20:14Speaker 1: it a lifestyle. You know why worship service is sometimes
- 20:18Speaker 1: difficult because we're outnumbered. You hear them say this morning,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I listen and Sister April saying this morning, how they
- 20:27Speaker 1: were out here early singing the worship songs before you
- 20:30Speaker 1: got here. But if they're out here worshiping before you come,
- 20:35Speaker 1: and you're in the car cussing before you come, the
- 20:38Speaker 1: distance between where your head is at and where our
- 20:42Speaker 1: head is at, it's so far. Or maybe you're just
- 20:46Speaker 1: worried and we got to crack through ice to get
- 20:56Speaker 1: through nights and nights and nights of disease. Jesus in
- 21:01Speaker 1: the pretexts of this text, is teaching his disciples about prayer,
- 21:07Speaker 1: and they are asking him teach us to pray because
- 21:12Speaker 1: he has modeled prayer in front of them. The text
- 21:17Speaker 1: comes after him giving them the model prayer what we
- 21:21Speaker 1: call the Lord's prayer, which we ought to call the
- 21:23Speaker 1: disciples prayer, because it's really the prayer he gave us
- 21:27Speaker 1: to pray our Father, which ard in heaven hollowould be
- 21:30Speaker 1: thy name, that kingdom come, that will be done on
- 21:32Speaker 1: earth as it is in heaven. Give us his stay,
- 21:34Speaker 1: our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we
- 21:37Speaker 1: forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation,
- 21:40Speaker 1: but deliver us from evil. That prayer right there, He
- 21:44Speaker 1: gave them that template for prayer. But the real model
- 21:48Speaker 1: is how he lived his life, not just what he said.
- 21:53Speaker 1: He told them that real prayer has nothing to do
- 21:57Speaker 1: with eloquence. He associated that with the Pharisees. They were
- 22:01Speaker 1: known for their swelling words and their long prayers. He
- 22:05Speaker 1: wants us to know that prayer doesn't inform God. Instead,
- 22:10Speaker 1: it invites him. God, God, God doesn't need you to
- 22:17Speaker 1: tell him what's going on. He already knows what's going on.
- 22:20Speaker 1: You don't pray to inform him. You pray to invite him. Oh, y'all,
- 22:25Speaker 1: don't hear what I'm saying. I'm gonna drop something heavy
- 22:27Speaker 1: on you. I'm gonna drop some heavy stuff on you.
- 22:30Speaker 1: You pray to invite him into your finances. You invite him.
- 22:33Speaker 1: You don't inform the Lord. You know the reddish due
- 22:35Speaker 1: on Thursday. Yeah, I know that. You know I got
- 22:39Speaker 1: laid off. Yeah, I was there. You know they hurt
- 22:44Speaker 1: my feelings. I quit my job. I got mad. I
- 22:46Speaker 1: just wanted on. Yeah, I know. I know. You don't
- 22:49Speaker 1: inform him. You invite him. Come into my good decision,
- 22:56Speaker 1: Come into my bad decision. Come into what I regret,
- 23:00Speaker 1: coming into the place where I reacted out of my
- 23:03Speaker 1: emotions rather than your word. I invite you into this situation.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I invite you into this. I invite you into the job.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I shouldn't have took the deal. I shouldn't have done
- 23:16Speaker 1: the place. I need your direction because my mouth gets
- 23:21Speaker 1: me in trouble. I need your word to prevail over
- 23:24Speaker 1: my word so that I can be better heard and
- 23:28Speaker 1: be more infective. I invite you. Let's just take a
- 23:31Speaker 1: moment right now and invite him. Let's invite him. Let's
- 23:36Speaker 1: invite him. Let's invite him. Let's invite him. See, you
- 23:38Speaker 1: got ready to praise, but I want you to pray.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Let's invite him. Let's invite him. My house shall be
- 23:44Speaker 1: called a house of prayer. You've made it a d
- 23:47Speaker 1: end of thieves, but it should be called a house
- 23:49Speaker 1: of prayer. Jesus' conviction about prayer is evident throughout the scriptures.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Is it is so evident throughout the scriptures that he
- 23:59Speaker 1: tantalizes until they taught us, teach us to pray, Because
- 24:04Speaker 1: every time they turned around over and over again, Jesus
- 24:06Speaker 1: slips away from the crowd and his responsibility to spend
- 24:11Speaker 1: time in prayer. His benefits are demonstrated through his life.
- 24:18Speaker 1: His benefits are demonstrated through his life to the point
- 24:22Speaker 1: did they finally say, you're teaching us about the kingdom.
- 24:24Speaker 1: The Kingdom of Heaven is likeing. The Kingdom of Heaven
- 24:27Speaker 1: is like it. The Kingdom of Heaven is like it.
- 24:29Speaker 1: But what you're not teaching us is, every so often
- 24:32Speaker 1: you go apart to the mountain by yourself and hide
- 24:35Speaker 1: yourself behind a rock and do something that makes you
- 24:38Speaker 1: able to walk on water when you come out. Teach
- 24:40Speaker 1: us how to do that. Teach us how to do
- 24:44Speaker 1: that right there. Teach us how to do that right there.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Teach us how to do that right there. Teach us
- 24:49Speaker 1: how to do that right there. They had seen him
- 24:52Speaker 1: do it in so many different ways. And I'm going
- 24:55Speaker 1: to give you a few ways that Jesus models prayer
- 24:58Speaker 1: and the benefits of pray for you to jump down.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Number one, Peace in the storm. Peace in the storm
- 25:09Speaker 1: is a result of communion with God. They are in
- 25:14Speaker 1: a tornado and Jesus is at rest. This is what
- 25:20Speaker 1: prayer does for you. It braces you against external extremities
- 25:27Speaker 1: so that you're not always reacting to what you see
- 25:30Speaker 1: going on around you. When you have a lifestyle of prayer,
- 25:34Speaker 1: you don't act like the crowd, everybody screaming and running
- 25:38Speaker 1: and jumping off the boat. But when you've been talking
- 25:40Speaker 1: to God before the storm, you have peace in the storm.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Oh y'all, don't hear what I'm saying. I got chill
- 25:49Speaker 1: bumps from RM. You got peace in the middle of
- 25:52Speaker 1: the storm. Is there anybody in here that's had unexplainable peace?
- 25:57Speaker 1: You don't even know. It's not even your character, is
- 26:00Speaker 1: not even your nature. That comes from having a consistent
- 26:05Speaker 1: prayer life, not a church prayer life, not an old
- 26:09Speaker 1: out God who rules the winds and wheeze had stet
- 26:12Speaker 1: his only eternity and overlooks the cords of time in
- 26:16Speaker 1: tonight prison. No, no, no, no. This is a kind
- 26:18Speaker 1: of prayer where you driving down the road said Jesus,
- 26:20Speaker 1: I don't know what we're gonna do about this, but
- 26:22Speaker 1: I'm trusting you about that, And if you don't want
- 26:24Speaker 1: me to do this, I need you to This a
- 26:26Speaker 1: kind of prayer that is not eloquent. It is just
- 26:30Speaker 1: you krd of somebody hollered hell woman who said that
- 26:49Speaker 1: who authored that book or her daughter was grievously vexed
- 26:52Speaker 1: with the devil. She didn't have time to be eloquent.
- 26:55Speaker 1: When you're in a fight with the devil, you don't
- 26:57Speaker 1: have time to be eloquent. We don't need an extra
- 27:00Speaker 1: size in your vocabulary. We don't need you to tune up.
- 27:03Speaker 1: We need you to open your mouth. And the benefits
- 27:13Speaker 1: of prayer is demonstrated in the storm. How you react
- 27:19Speaker 1: to the storm determines how far you're gonna go. You
- 27:23Speaker 1: can't be a leader if you freak out. You gotta
- 27:28Speaker 1: keep a calm head in a crisis. I might freak
- 27:31Speaker 1: out aftter the crisis, but in the middle of a crisis,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna stand up to this. One of the things
- 27:37Speaker 1: I love about my wife, I love about her. My
- 27:41Speaker 1: wife does not feak freak out in a crisis. No,
- 27:45Speaker 1: she goes into lockdown mode. Like some of you have
- 27:48Speaker 1: not seen. Now. Two weeks later she may burst into tears.
- 27:53Speaker 1: But while you are in the store, she gonna box
- 27:56Speaker 1: like Mike Tyson. She gonna bit No. Let me tell you, girl,
- 28:03Speaker 1: you're bad with that. She gonna box like Mike Tyson.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I was raised to box like that. I was raised
- 28:10Speaker 1: to fight like that. If you started getting hysterical, my
- 28:13Speaker 1: mother would slap you. She said, you may not have
- 28:17Speaker 1: the peace of God. But you're gonna have the piece
- 28:19Speaker 1: of older because I'm gonna knock you out. You hold
- 28:24Speaker 1: it together, You hold it together. I couldn't even fall
- 28:36Speaker 1: a part at her funeral because I could hear her
- 28:39Speaker 1: I was about to collapse. We were closing the casket
- 28:41Speaker 1: and I was about to collapse, and I could hear
- 28:43Speaker 1: her say, what good would that do? Discipline? Discipline over
- 28:52Speaker 1: your emotions. Discipline we have. We have a generation and
- 28:56Speaker 1: I'm talking about all of us, all agents that are
- 28:57Speaker 1: lives in this air. I'm diciplin people who say whatever
- 29:03Speaker 1: they think, however they think whatever they want to. You
- 29:06Speaker 1: don't have no prayer life. You talk to people when
- 29:08Speaker 1: you ought to be talking to God. If you start
- 29:11Speaker 1: talking to God in a change how you talk to people.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Come on, somebody us demonstrates prayer for them Number two,
- 29:24Speaker 1: deliverance for others. He comes down off of the amount
- 29:29Speaker 1: of transfiguration. The Disciples have been wrestling with this boy,
- 29:34Speaker 1: fighting for his life. He's casting himself into the water,
- 29:37Speaker 1: he's casting himself into the fire. They cannot control this demon.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I want to talk to some people who have a
- 29:44Speaker 1: demon us out of control in your life and you
- 29:47Speaker 1: cannot control it. And when Jesus comes down, the boy's
- 29:51Speaker 1: father embarrasses the disciples by saying, I brought him to
- 29:54Speaker 1: your disciples and they couldn't do nothing with him. There
- 30:02Speaker 1: are some things you have to bring directly to Jesus.
- 30:06Speaker 1: You don't need an appointment with the bishop. You don't
- 30:09Speaker 1: need an appointment with a counselor you don't need an
- 30:11Speaker 1: appointment with a team. Some selfing you got it. Some
- 30:14Speaker 1: demons you got to take to Jesus. Never mind the
- 30:18Speaker 1: fact that the boy got in the fire but didn't
- 30:21Speaker 1: get burned up, and got in the water and they
- 30:23Speaker 1: never drowned. Jesus is already present, But you're tired of
- 30:26Speaker 1: going through the struggle, had to fight and the war
- 30:29Speaker 1: for Jesus says, bring him to me. And afterwards the
- 30:34Speaker 1: disciples asked him what we're wrong? And I respect him
- 30:38Speaker 1: for that, because no failure makes you a failure until
- 30:47Speaker 1: unless you will not examine what did I do wrong?
- 30:54Speaker 1: If you learn from it, it can't be a failure.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Jesus said, you didn't do anything wrong. Is what you
- 31:02Speaker 1: didn't do? This time cometh out by much prayer and fasting,
- 31:09Speaker 1: So Jesus is gradually teaching them about prayer. Number three,
- 31:14Speaker 1: he teaches him submission to the process through prayer. He
- 31:21Speaker 1: teaches him that when it gets hard, to submit to
- 31:24Speaker 1: the process, and it often does, and it even did
- 31:27Speaker 1: for Jesus. So stop trying to sell me this bill
- 31:31Speaker 1: that everything is easy for you. If it got hard
- 31:33Speaker 1: for Jesus, I know it got hard for you. So
- 31:36Speaker 1: shut up. If he just wiped my faith, it ain't no.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Shut up, shut up, chot up, chat up, hut up.
- 31:45Speaker 1: You a lie, a hypocrite too. It got hard for Jesus,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and Jesus took his inner circle out to the garden
- 31:53Speaker 1: against semity, just so that he would be able to
- 31:57Speaker 1: pray his way into submission to the process. Father, if
- 32:03Speaker 1: it be thy will pass has been a comfort me.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Sometimes God's will will carry you through roads you don't
- 32:10Speaker 1: want to ride on. Oh y'all, don't hear talk to
- 32:13Speaker 1: me somebody. Sometimes God's will will carry you through roads
- 32:17Speaker 1: you don't want to ride on. Roads you didn't pick,
- 32:20Speaker 1: roads you didn't foresee, roads you didn't design, and frankly,
- 32:24Speaker 1: roads you don't lack. But it's still God's will. Because
- 32:28Speaker 1: God is not in your life for your lacks. Oh,
- 32:34Speaker 1: y'all get to hear me. That was so good. God
- 32:36Speaker 1: is not in your life for your lacks. And Jesus,
- 32:46Speaker 1: Jesus goes into the garden of gas Simone and says,
- 32:49Speaker 1: this is how you submit to the part you don't like,
- 32:53Speaker 1: because God will send what you don't like to kill
- 32:55Speaker 1: your flesh. You know, the cross was designed to kill
- 33:03Speaker 1: the flesh, and the flesh will always scream out when
- 33:07Speaker 1: the nails go in. And Jesus goes to the garden
- 33:11Speaker 1: and prays, so he has grace for the cross. I've
- 33:17Speaker 1: always thought that we paid more attention to the cross
- 33:20Speaker 1: than we do the garden, because the cross is only
- 33:27Speaker 1: where he demonstrated the power of the garden. You trying
- 33:32Speaker 1: to deal with the cross and you don't have no
- 33:34Speaker 1: garden of prayer. I come to the garden alone, well,
- 33:41Speaker 1: Julius steal along the road and the voice.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Falling on mind, the sun of God this close, And
- 33:59Speaker 3: who walks with me?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Yeah, he talks with me. Yet he tells me he's
- 34:08Speaker 1: on and the job we shall come on.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Help we.
- 34:18Speaker 1: No noes, Heather. I wish we sung some of that
- 34:24Speaker 1: stuff again. I wish we sung some of that stuff
- 34:28Speaker 1: again that encouraged people to come to the garden of prayer.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Number four, the pardoning of guilt and sin. He teaches
- 34:38Speaker 1: us this so prayer when the when the man sick
- 34:41Speaker 1: of palsy is carried by four people and they have
- 34:44Speaker 1: to climb up the wall. Imagine carrying a man who
- 34:48Speaker 1: is a sick of palsy paralyzed up the wall, across
- 34:55Speaker 1: the roof with four people and lower him down into
- 34:58Speaker 1: the presence of Jesus. And Jesus says to him, son,
- 35:03Speaker 1: thy sins are forgiven THEE. And then they doubted that
- 35:15Speaker 1: he had the right to do that. He said, what
- 35:17Speaker 1: is easier to say, son, thy sins are forgiven THEE?
- 35:20Speaker 1: Or take up your bed and walk? Is there a
- 35:24Speaker 1: correlation between the palsy and the sin because Jesus prioritized
- 35:34Speaker 1: the forgiveness of sin over the pain that brought him
- 35:38Speaker 1: to Jesus. Could the pain have caused the paralysis? Are
- 35:45Speaker 1: you carrying guilt that you can't get rid of to
- 35:48Speaker 1: the point that he's showing up in infirmities in your body?
- 35:53Speaker 1: Are you carrying too much that you're not even designed for?
- 35:57Speaker 1: Do you go to God in prayer? Go to God
- 36:00Speaker 1: in prayer. I don't mean like you down nine one one.
- 36:04Speaker 1: I mean on a daily, continual basis that flushes your
- 36:08Speaker 1: soul of the toxicity. You so careful about what you eat.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You a pescatarian. I'm a vegan. I don't eat this.
- 36:16Speaker 1: I don't eat them. Pat You're so careful about what
- 36:19Speaker 1: you put in your body. No, are you careful about
- 36:22Speaker 1: what you put in your soul? Are you careful about
- 36:27Speaker 1: what you put in your soul? You're reading every label
- 36:31Speaker 1: your count fat, bram too much protein in that. I
- 36:33Speaker 1: don't do anything with caffeine. I don't do that. Another
- 36:36Speaker 1: shut of you gossip. You talk to me about people.
- 36:40Speaker 1: You li on folks, You criticize everybody. So your flesh
- 36:45Speaker 1: is gonna be clean, but your spirit is fealthy. Praud,
- 36:50Speaker 1: Well clean out your spirit. Proud, we'll clean out your heart.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Proud will change the way you treat people. Proud will
- 36:58Speaker 1: change how you react. You can take up your bed
- 37:00Speaker 1: and walk when you get rid of your guilts. Number five,
- 37:14Speaker 1: Prayer is your secret weapon. Prayer is your secret weapon.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Jesus teaches in the text that when you pray, don't
- 37:22Speaker 1: be out in the streets praying like the pharisees, he said,
- 37:25Speaker 1: But go into your secret closet and shut the door,
- 37:29Speaker 1: and he says to God, who hears in secret, will
- 37:33Speaker 1: reward you in the open. If you want to be
- 37:37Speaker 1: a public success, you gotta be a private prayer. Oh y'all,
- 37:42Speaker 1: they gonna help me. If you're gonna be a public success,
- 37:45Speaker 1: you gotta be a private prayer warrior. What happens on
- 37:49Speaker 1: the outside is determined by what happens on your knees.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Get down on your knees and pray. Shut your mouth
- 37:57Speaker 1: and pray. Shut your fuss and pray. Get down on
- 38:00Speaker 1: your knees and seek God's face. Prayer is your secret weapon.
- 38:08Speaker 1: You got it. It's in there. It's somewhere down in
- 38:11Speaker 1: their pocketbook. It's something down up under that makeup. You
- 38:17Speaker 1: got more makeup than prayer. But if you dig down
- 38:20Speaker 1: in that bag deep enough, we get hit me. I
- 38:23Speaker 1: know you don't have no prayer life, because if I
- 38:25Speaker 1: call you till the alder a prayer, you pray five
- 38:28Speaker 1: minutes and you get tired, that means you have not
- 38:31Speaker 1: exercised prayer to the point that you have a real
- 38:34Speaker 1: prayer life. You will dance thirty minutes, but you won't
- 38:38Speaker 1: pray five Come on, come on, come on, don't leave now,
- 38:44Speaker 1: stay right here, stay right here. I got some player,
- 38:54Speaker 1: not somebody tell them I got a devil the fight.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I don't have time to try to be the cutest
- 39:01Speaker 1: in the room. Go with your fine self and your
- 39:04Speaker 1: guccy bag. But I gotta devil to fight. And if
- 39:08Speaker 1: I have to layd on my face, if I have
- 39:11Speaker 1: to crawl on my knees, if I have to clap
- 39:14Speaker 1: my hand a starmer and said I gotta die, I'm
- 39:20Speaker 1: not gonna stop till I break it. Somebody going to
- 39:23Speaker 1: a pramo, a war cry, a shot on the yarld. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:50Speaker 1: We are living in a time right now that if
- 39:53Speaker 1: the church doesn't get back on his knees, all the
- 39:56Speaker 1: hell is gonna break loose. He's taking over our country,
- 40:00Speaker 1: it's taking over our government, it's taking over our streets.
- 40:04Speaker 1: You ain't even safe in the grocery store. But I
- 40:07Speaker 1: heard God say, if my people who are called by
- 40:11Speaker 1: my name s umber themselves and pray and seek my
- 40:16Speaker 1: face and turn from the wicked way, then will I
- 40:23Speaker 1: forgive their sins and heal their lad Somebody give me
- 40:30Speaker 1: some prayer in this place, you won't find it in
- 40:50Speaker 1: a minute. Keep on digging down in that bad. It's
- 40:53Speaker 1: somewhere down in your pocketbook. You won't find it in
- 40:56Speaker 1: a minute. Get on down in that bad get on down.
- 40:58Speaker 1: There's a little fellow money right now. But when I
- 41:01Speaker 1: get past your camouflaugs, somewhere down in you is a
- 41:06Speaker 1: praying spirit, Oh holy ghos that's been waiting to be activated.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I dare you to activate your prayer language. Say down,
- 41:35Speaker 1: let me give you number six. I gotta go and
- 41:39Speaker 1: not normal shutter hemo sunday, take heem o Sunday double.
- 41:45Speaker 1: I felt something great. I don't know who it's in,
- 41:48Speaker 1: but a yoke just broken somebody's life. Sund Let me
- 42:18Speaker 1: give you number six. He gave me six things, he said,
- 42:23Speaker 1: give you. I want you to make sure you get
- 42:24Speaker 1: a number six. Prayer is not about church. The Lord
- 42:33Speaker 1: said the most interesting thing to me when I was studying.
- 42:36Speaker 1: He said, I want you to understand that prayer is
- 42:39Speaker 1: a part of self care. You ever talked about it.
- 42:45Speaker 1: You gotta get self care. You got to get self care.
- 42:48Speaker 1: You gotta get self care. Self care is soul care.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Prayer is a part of self care. The psychologists and
- 43:01Speaker 1: the psychiatrists were here. They would tell you. The journal
- 43:05Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit says, prayer is journaling with God. Tell
- 43:20Speaker 1: him all about our troubles. He will hear us when
- 43:24Speaker 1: he will answer lor when you feel a little and
- 43:30Speaker 1: you know a loof you'll find Just now, let us
- 43:38Speaker 1: have a little talking to you. We're gonna want to
- 43:41Speaker 1: tell him all about it. You really here. He will
- 43:48Speaker 1: about you by where do you feel them? And you
- 43:53Speaker 1: know you'll find out love. We are all the tendance
- 44:06Speaker 1: you really him well, whether you feel the lod you
- 44:17Speaker 1: you know that. See, the old folks knew how to
- 44:30Speaker 1: have self care. They might not have gone to the spa,
- 44:34Speaker 1: they might not have got a massage, they might not
- 44:36Speaker 1: have played around of golf. They didn't have the money
- 44:38Speaker 1: to do all of that, but they were shutting themselves up.
- 44:41Speaker 1: As Oh God, in the name of Jesus, I broached
- 44:45Speaker 1: our tone. I know you lift its burning Lord, if
- 44:57Speaker 1: you don't get it out, I can't take this little hold.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I know it's old fashion, I know it's not contemporary.
- 45:08Speaker 1: I know it's not your style, but this old fashioned
- 45:12Speaker 1: w fighting right now, you're gonna have to get your
- 45:15Speaker 1: Grandmama's walk clothes out and declare war over. Anybody hear
- 45:27Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Anybody hear what I'm saying. Anybody hear
- 45:32Speaker 1: what I'm saying, clap your hands and give me thirty
- 45:35Speaker 1: suck of the praise. Do you not know that prayer
- 45:56Speaker 1: will tip the scales in your favor. Prayer will tip
- 46:03Speaker 1: the scales in your favor. Your daughter needs to see
- 46:08Speaker 1: you pray. Your son needs to see you pray, not
- 46:12Speaker 1: just when you in front of people. It needs to
- 46:15Speaker 1: not be strange to come in your house and hear
- 46:18Speaker 1: your mama praying. Your house to be called a house
- 46:22Speaker 1: of prayer, you gotta bring prayer back in your house.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Cut off the housewives of la and the house wire
- 46:31Speaker 1: of Atlanta, and the housewives of actors, and the housewives
- 46:35Speaker 1: the movie stars, and get down on your knees and
- 46:39Speaker 1: start calling on jeeves. When I say, prayer will tip
- 46:51Speaker 1: the scales in your favor, We're not praying about yesterday
- 46:56Speaker 1: because there's nothing that can be done about yesterday. You
- 47:02Speaker 1: got to come out of yesterday. There's nothing nobody can
- 47:06Speaker 1: do about yesterday. You don't see anywhere in the Bible
- 47:11Speaker 1: where anybody is praying about yesterday, and yet every time
- 47:15Speaker 1: you get a microphone you crying about yesterday. Come out
- 47:18Speaker 1: of your history, Come out of your history. It don't
- 47:22Speaker 1: matter who is right. It don't matter who is wrong.
- 47:25Speaker 1: You got a devil in front of you to fight.
- 47:28Speaker 1: You can't fight the devil behind you and have your
- 47:32Speaker 1: hands free for the devil in front of you. Who
- 47:35Speaker 1: am I talking to? So sit down, I gotta hear it.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I'm run out of town. Yeah, you can't stay if
- 47:48Speaker 1: you don't pray. I like that. I'm gonna rest through this.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Worry nullified prayer. So over and over Jesus says, do knock.
- 48:00Speaker 1: It's not a request, it's a command. Do not worry.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Worry nullified prayer. You can pray real good, but if
- 48:06Speaker 1: you worry better, then you pray. You nullified what you
- 48:09Speaker 1: prayed for. Worry nullified prayer. It cancels out prayer. Worry
- 48:15Speaker 1: is to have faith in the negative. Worry is faith
- 48:21Speaker 1: turned inside out. Worry is responding to the negative voice
- 48:26Speaker 1: louder than you do the positive. Your thought life is
- 48:31Speaker 1: infected by worry. You can't make sound decisions when you're worrying.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Anxiety is literally worrying. About tomorrow, worrying about something that
- 48:42Speaker 1: hadn't even happened yet. Where we're gonna say, what we're
- 48:44Speaker 1: gonna do? What did that of it? You want to
- 48:51Speaker 1: know everything you control? Freak. You profess to walk by
- 48:56Speaker 1: faith and not by sight, and yet you want to
- 48:58Speaker 1: know everything about something that hadn't even happened yet. You're
- 49:02Speaker 1: making yourself anxious, You're making yourself sick, You're making yourself
- 49:08Speaker 1: hard to live with because you think everybody, everybody has
- 49:11Speaker 1: to report to your office. God is not gonna report
- 49:15Speaker 1: to your office. He's not gonna give you details. You're
- 49:18Speaker 1: just gonna have to walk out there to a place
- 49:20Speaker 1: I will show you, And when you get there, I'm
- 49:23Speaker 1: gonna show it to you. And you gotta walk by faith.
- 49:26Speaker 1: And God knows you don't like it, and God knows
- 49:28Speaker 1: you ain't good at it, but you gotta get good
- 49:31Speaker 1: at it. Dig down in your pocket book and get
- 49:33Speaker 1: your weapons out, because one of those weapons is resisting
- 49:37Speaker 1: the temptation to worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow belongs. Say
- 49:45Speaker 1: it again, Say it again. The thief is on the
- 49:54Speaker 1: cross and he's dying, and he's nailed to the tree,
- 49:57Speaker 1: and he's getting ready to go, and all he has
- 50:00Speaker 1: God to do is remember me. When you get to
- 50:03Speaker 1: the kingdom, just remember me. He didn't ask him save me.
- 50:07Speaker 1: He just said, just remember me. Just just remember me
- 50:10Speaker 1: when you get to the kingdom. Tomorrow belongs to God.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna share one more quick scripture and then I'm
- 50:16Speaker 1: gonna move on. Take me, take me to Jezebel, Take
- 50:19Speaker 1: me to Jezebel in my mouth, take me to yeah
- 50:22Speaker 1: one Kings nineteen one through eight, and get this, get
- 50:24Speaker 1: this in my mouth. I just in fact, I don't
- 50:27Speaker 1: want to even have to go to eighty. I think
- 50:28Speaker 1: I can go to three and get it now. Ain't
- 50:30Speaker 1: Half told Jezebel everything Elijah had done, and how he
- 50:34Speaker 1: had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel
- 50:38Speaker 1: sent a messenger. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Jezebel sent a worrying messenger to Elijah. Jezebel sent the
- 50:49Speaker 1: spirit of worry to Elijah. It would only work if
- 50:53Speaker 1: she threatened him. She didn't kill him, she just threatened him.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Isn't it funny how there will always be somebody to
- 51:06Speaker 1: bring you back news to worry. You listen to what
- 51:12Speaker 1: I'm saying. Jezebel didn't killing. She sent a messenger to
- 51:18Speaker 1: threaten him. What is threatening you? What I'm asking you
- 51:27Speaker 1: a question? What is threatening you? Jezebel sent that message.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Idolatrous Jezebel. Prophet killing Jezebel, praise killing Jezebel, faith killing Jezebel.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Comfort killing Jezebel, comfort is disrupting. Jezebel will always send
- 51:51Speaker 1: you a message. And this is a message. May the
- 51:55Speaker 1: Gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if
- 52:00Speaker 1: this time tomorrow, I do not make your life like
- 52:06Speaker 1: one of them other prophets I killed. Elijah was a
- 52:10Speaker 1: friend and ran for his life. Elijah, who didn't run
- 52:15Speaker 1: from nothing, ran from worry. When he came to Besheba
- 52:22Speaker 1: in Judah, he left his servant there because sometimes, like
- 52:26Speaker 1: Jesus in Yosemone, you can't take nobody with you. Why
- 52:30Speaker 1: he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness. He
- 52:33Speaker 1: came to a broom bush. The King jamesons the juniper tree,
- 52:38Speaker 1: sat down under it and prayed that he might die.
- 52:43Speaker 1: I want to speak to every person who's trapped and
- 52:47Speaker 1: so worried that you want to die Tomorrow belongs to God. No, no, no,
- 52:59Speaker 1: get this. Your worried to death or in pain about yesterday.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Yesterday is trying to get you to kill tomorrow. And
- 53:08Speaker 1: you don't know what a day will bring. She said,
- 53:12Speaker 1: if I don't take you out in the next twenty
- 53:15Speaker 1: four hours, may the gods deal with me. I'm gonna
- 53:19Speaker 1: kill you, just like I kill the others. And he
- 53:21Speaker 1: started running and got up under the tree and said,
- 53:24Speaker 1: if I'm gonna die, God, I want you to take me.
- 53:28Speaker 1: He said, I have had enough, Lloyd. I want to
- 53:33Speaker 1: honest answer. How many people have said to God I
- 53:37Speaker 1: have had enough. Elijah came to God and said I
- 53:46Speaker 1: have had enough. Now. He is a day's journey in
- 53:52Speaker 1: his travels and doesn't notice that Jezbel is a liar.
- 53:59Speaker 1: For him to be a live to complain is a
- 54:02Speaker 1: miracle because she said tomorrow. She said, by this time tomorrow,
- 54:14Speaker 1: I will take your life. And he ought to be
- 54:16Speaker 1: shouting up under the juniper tree, because twenty four hours
- 54:20Speaker 1: later he's still alive. Let me tell you, some of
- 54:23Speaker 1: you are worried about stuff you ought to be shouting about,
- 54:26Speaker 1: because it the devil had his way, he would have
- 54:29Speaker 1: took you out by now. But because tomorrow belongs to God,
- 54:35Speaker 1: I want somebody who's living in a miracle, who's standing
- 54:39Speaker 1: in faith to God some glory right now. No, no, no, no.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I want somebody that the enemy tried to take out
- 55:05Speaker 1: and threaten you all your life and sat by this
- 55:08Speaker 1: time tomorrow, I'm gonna destroy you and you are still alive,
- 55:15Speaker 1: to get abound from under that cute stuff and praise
- 55:19Speaker 1: God like your grateful Tell your neighbor all three of them.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Tomorrow belongs to God, Tomorrow belongs to God. Tomorrow belongs
- 55:49Speaker 1: to God. If it didn't belong to God, I'd be dead.
- 55:53Speaker 1: If it didn't belong to God, I'd have a nervous breakdown.
- 55:56Speaker 1: If it didn't belong to God, I'd lose my mind.
- 55:59Speaker 1: If it lor with God, I throw into town. If
- 56:02Speaker 1: it did belong to God, I blow my brains out.
- 56:05Speaker 1: But tomorrow belongs to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. You're walking in
- 56:23Speaker 1: Yesterday's tomorrow. Nothing you went through took you out. If
- 56:28Speaker 1: you survived yesterday, you can survive today. And if you
- 56:33Speaker 1: survived today, you can make it till tomorrow. Hell is liar.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Saiz Abel is a liar. The nothing is a liar,
- 56:44Speaker 1: The disease is a liar, dies is a liar. Tomorrow
- 56:50Speaker 1: belongs to God. I wish I had a praiser somewhere
- 56:56Speaker 1: in this house that could praise God for tomorrow. Praise
- 57:05Speaker 1: God for tomorrow, Praise God for tomorrow. I haven't stepped
- 57:10Speaker 1: in it yet, but I'm praising you by faith for tomorrow.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Three people tell him, I'm praising God because the man
- 58:07Speaker 1: was wrong. I'm praising God because jes the man was wrong.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I'm praising God because the man was wrong. And when
- 58:17Speaker 1: you get to the third one, praising like a lost
- 58:20Speaker 1: some mine praising. Said the man. What's wrong? Said the man.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I was wrong, said the man was wrong. Said the
- 58:42Speaker 1: man was wrong. Said the man was wrong, Said the
- 58:45Speaker 1: man was wrong. Send the man was wrong, Said the
- 58:49Speaker 1: man was wrong. Said the man was wrong, said the man.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I don't understand it. I know there are people in
- 59:22Speaker 1: this room the survived answer, had a heart attacks, had disruptions,
- 59:29Speaker 1: been through hell, like to die, and you're still here
- 59:34Speaker 1: and you're standing around looking at people, lift your teeth
- 59:38Speaker 1: in your mouth. You ought to praise God. That jonebel
- 59:43Speaker 1: wasn't wrong. Certain man was wrong. Put it on the tree,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: put it on the big screen. Let everybody said, Set
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the man was wrong, sting a man's wrong. I'm still here.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: I'm still here.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I don't have all that.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I cannot see them all. For one day I was all.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Send the man was wrong. Setting the man, you're a liar,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: sut Ramad the god. Tell the man looks from selling
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: back till him what's wrong? Tell him out, what's wrong?
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Till the matter?
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: What from sun, him from gon, a mat from tun,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: a man from st man prom shunning man, Then the man,
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: what's wrong?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Turn wrong?
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: He got you wrong?
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: He ll come go, come go, come go go.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Juk about right, yes, what I can't be what? What? What?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: What sad about? Well? About what? What? What? What? Watching? Watching?
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Watch watching? What's what's say? I'm taking out talking about
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: its shouting the bad I was wrong, shout the bab
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: was wrong.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: It's not the Babu was wrong. It's Tappa.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Shouting job. Tay's trying to table, yet's trying to track.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: So yeah, trying to be back. So yeah, Kenn, you
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: never pray. Somebody give me that guitar. I still got
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: store for it right now. Yeah, take me if I
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: can send the priser. But we canna ready put for
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: your catch out. The devil's a devil of worry, the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: devil of worry. We're gonna catch it out.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: We don't catch it out in the We don't catch
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: it out.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: In the name of Jeesus, it's the spirit of heaven.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: That it's a spirit. That depression is a spirit. It's
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: a the molly can fluence. God said, I'm giving the
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: comment of praise for the spirit of habites. Should the
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: man was wrong, I don't believe so. You should have
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: been in jail, you should have been destroyed, you should
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: have been locked up, you should have been a truck builder.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: But let them man was wrong. You are God of praise.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: I need a sanctify praise.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: I take a bite.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Praise, I sinter hattie. I was. I was telling them
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: when my mama was behind the wall in the storefront
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: frying chicken with West his aunt frying fish, selling sandwiches.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Ouf the church to pay the rent to keep the
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: doors open. If you would have ever told me that
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I would end up here. A prophetess came to our church,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and she prophesied. She was from Georgia. Her name was
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: evangelist Bernice I think Johnson, she said. She said, God
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: said He's gonna send you five hundred souls. I'm driving
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: a nineteen sixty five Valiant and it was old end.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: It's old now, but it was old end. It was rusty,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and the floorboard was rusted out of it. And I'm
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: loaded down carrying the members back home. Brother Moore says
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to me, Pastor, if the Lord give us five hundred souls,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: where we're gonna put 'em? Because the church seated about
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: eighty people. Look around. I didn't plan it, I didn't
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: orchestrate it. I didn't see it coming. I didn't have
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: the vision to see this far down the road. I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: remember they had my anniversary and I got so depressed.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I wanted to quit because hardly anybody came, and all
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the guests passed. His members were there and none of
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: mine showed up. And I was so depressed. I wanted
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: to quit. I wanted to quit. I almost quit right then.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: It just was so humiliating, and I wanted to quit.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I didn't realize that tomorrow belongs to God. When we
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: were in the house and coming home from church, Sweda
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: and the lights was off and we told the boys
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: we was playing a game, and the game was to
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: see who could get to the bed first without stumping
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: their toe won aprize. I couldn't afford. Do you remember
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: when I used to climb out of the bedroom one
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: that night into the part of the house that we
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: started building, and I couldn't finish, and you kept telling
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: me everything was okay and it didn't matter whether we
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: had any money or not, And I was climbing out
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: of the window worrying about how I was gonna get
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: us out of that situation. Tomorrow belongs to God. I
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: wasn't even trying to get here. I was no, no, no, no,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: no no. I wasn't trying to get here. I was
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: trying to get all my utilities on At the same time.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I was trying to get a Sears Resvo revolving credit
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: card so we could get stuff we needed for the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: house and buy clothes and take care of the babies.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I was trying to get diapers that didn't require duct tape.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I am telling you, you understand what I'm talking about.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I am telling you that tomorrow belongs to car. Yesterday morning,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I talked to two senators on the phone, and Puffy
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: called me and asked me to ask you to pray
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: for him because he's getting ready to host Billboard tonight
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Billboard Awards tonight at eight o'clock. He called somebody who
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: didn't even have their phone on yesterday and today heads
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: estate and people around the world are calling a guy
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: who couldn't keep his phone on. You understand what I'm
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: telling you when I tell you tomorrow belongs to God.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I'm not trying to hype you up. I'm telling you stuff.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I absolutely know. We didn't wait until we got to
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: tomorrow to praise Him. We had all night shut in.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: We praised God with no lights on. We praised God
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: when the gas was off and the house was cold.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: And you remember when we had kerosene heaters trying to
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: heat the house in the bedroom because we didn't have
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: gas on, and we were shouting in. Now you know
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: if I was shouting in, you know that gum. Well,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I'm shout now, and I rebuke any lion spirit that
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: would ever insinuate that I'm doing this for money. I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: did this with no lights. I did this with no water.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I did this with no car, I did this with
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: no food in the house. I praised God when I
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: didn't know what we were gonna eat the next day.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I praised God when we were gathering apples to feed
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: the kids because we had no groceries. I praised God
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: when we were taking pop bottles up to the seventy
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: eleven and rolling up corners trying to get money to
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: buy enough to feed my kids. How damn you and
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: so me go, How dal you? It sought me to
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: come in at the end of the movie and think
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: you understand the story, How value it sult me. I
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: am living in my tomorrow. I am living in my tomorrow, man,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: and my yesterday earned me the right to stand where
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I'm standing right now. Colin Luia, I know what I'm
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: talking about. Tomorrow belongs to God, and if God decides
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: to bless you, no devil, no wits, no x, no spell,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: no mistake, no failure, no sin, no shortcoming, nothing can
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: stop God. If God gets ready to bless you, tomorrow
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: belongs to God. That Jezebel curse that keeps you up
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: at night is a lion spirit from the pit. I'm
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: not saying you won't go through tests. I'm not saying
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you won't go through trials. I'm not saying you're gonna
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: get everything you want. But I'm telling you that God
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: has an expected end for your life, and that his
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: thoughts are good towards you and not evil. And whatever
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: comes and whoever goes, God is still gonna bless you.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: And you stop worrying about your future. God has got it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Tomorrow belongs to God. Who am I preaching to young people?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I know you're scared. The times are shaking, the odds
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: are said against you. You got degrees you can't pay for.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: You've prepared yourself for something that don't even exist. I
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: know that sometimes, even though you're doing it, you're wondering,
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: am I enough? And I know how frightening it is
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: to be young and out there and shocked by how
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: much it takes to be out there. It takes a lot.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: It takes a lot of money, a lot of strength,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: a lot of wisdom, a lot of planning, and it's
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the slow death of having fun and flesh. And I
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: know you're worried, and I know you're scared, But I
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: got old to tell you. I got old to tell
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: you I was you and if I made it, if
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: he did it for me, he'll do it for you.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: And whatever he gave you is enough to get you
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: to where you're trying to go. Do not doubt him
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: at this stage. To my generation, stop telling yourself to die.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Stop wishing yourself to death. Stop telling yourself you're old.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Stop listening at the aches and pains in your body.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: As long as you have breadth, as long as you
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: have presence of mind, as long as you can contribute,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: keep on doing what you're doing. Motion is loosen. Keep
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: it moving, baby girl, keep it moving. If death gets you,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: let it have to chase you down. It's gonna have
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: to run up and hit me in the back of
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: my head. I'm not gonna lay down and roll over
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: and give up because you think I'm supposed to. The
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: devil is alive. I'll fight you on a cane. I'll
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: fight you on a walker. I'll hit you in the
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: head with a stick. I go when he says go,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I come when he says come. Tomorrow belongs to God.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: If God spoke to you today, lift your hands and
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: open your mouth and give him praise. Right now, give
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: me a moment and let me share something with you.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I am not inviting you. When I invite you to Jesus,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I am not inviting you to a religion. I am
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: inviting you to a relationship. If you get the religious
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: part of it and you don't get the relationship, it
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: ain't gonna do you no good. It is not the
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: mere ceremonies. When you go out of service, there are
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: going to be people being baptized. The baptism is the
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: outwards of the inward transformation. If you don't have an
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: inward transformation, you go in and dry devil and you
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: come up a wet one. It starts when you give
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: your heart to Jesus. You know why. Tomorrow belongs to
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: God and tomorrow no wait, wait, wait, wait, don't clock.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Tomorrow is daunting for everybody, young and old, rich and poor,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: black and white. It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter what
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: you're politics. Tomorrow is daunting. It's tough. Don't you dare
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: think you can take it on without Jesus. Don't you
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: dare think you're slick enough to take it on without Jesus.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: You need Jesus in your life, I mean, not Sunday
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: in your life, to keep you sane, to keep you going.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Everyone standing with your head bow. If there's a person
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: in this room who is recognizing your need for God.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: If there's a person in this room who understood what
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I was preaching, and you know that your tomorrow belongs
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: to God, and that nothing about your history can destroy
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: your destiny. But you need God's direction to put you
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: into the right place at the right time. Not just
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: to be successful, to be sane, to be a survivalist,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: to be sustainable. You need God. You can't change where
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: you started, but you can change where you end up.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I invite you to walk down this hole and come
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to this altar and give your life to Jesus. And
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I can't make you, but I can invite you. He
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: will not break into your life. It is by invitation only.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: And you're walking down the house says this is important
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to me. I'm going to seek first the Kingdom. I've
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: been thinking. I have been seeking all these things more
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: than I've been seeking God. I will seek first the
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: unto me if you're in this room, and I'm not
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: going to wait long, because I preach strong enough that
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: if the Holy Ghost don't draw you, stay where you at.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: If there's a son or daughter or grandmama or mama
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: or daddy or single parent in this room who needs
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: God to face tomorrow. Come down to this hawking, come
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: down to this halting. I don't care the color of
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: your skin. I don't care your network. I don't care
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: if you're worth billions or pennies. You still need Jesus.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I don't care if you got more degrees than I
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: can count up on my head from all the most prestigious.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I be need colleges. You still need Jesus. You're tomorrow
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: is still I'm certain you need God and you need
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: it now. You need God and you need it now.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: You need God and you need him now to bless you. Certain.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you so much. I feel that yeah, yes, yeah, man,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. I love you too. I love
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: you too. I love you too. I love you too.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: You're a real brother. I can feeling. Yeah, man, thank you,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. You gave
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: me purposes, man, you gave me meaning. Yeah, thank you,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. He said, I preached him out
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: of prisoner, and he loves our ministry and he drove
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: in a truck all the way up here to be
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: in our service. Give God, Praise you. See. Peter and
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: John came and our prayer and found the layman at
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: the gate called beautiful. The lame man needed Peter and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: John because he was lame. But Peter and John needed
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the lame man too, because he gave him purpose, and
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: he gave him meaning. You gave me purpose, man, You
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: gave me meaning. You got me out of the bed
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: every morning. You gave me something to fight for. You
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: gave me something more important than my flesh. You gave
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: me something more important than myself. And together we are
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: here today in the tomorrow that we never dreamed of,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: and we made it. And you're free and I'm free,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: and we're a whole and we celebrate together. That is
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: the gospel story. That is the Gospel made flesh. That
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: is the Word made flesh. Who else is coming? Who
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: else is coming? This is a moment of transformation. If
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you're on the line, the information is on the screen.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Our pre warriors are waiting on you. You can come
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: to Christ right in your living room. You don't have
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to be in this church. He'll come right where you are.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Come right now, last call, lest call, bow your hands.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I want to pray with you. The hard work has
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: already been done. The preaching of the golfel produces faith.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Faith produces salvation. This is just a moment of confession
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: and open confession and declaration that this is a turning
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: point for you in your life, whether you are a
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: backsladder returning back to God or whether you are first
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: time convert. The same blood that cleanses the backsladder cleanses
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: the sinner. There are not two different kinds of blood.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: It is just one blood. It is the blood of Jesus.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: He paid for your right to come back. He paid
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: for your right to be renewed. He paid for your
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: right to be strengthened. He paid for you, He paid
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: for your peace, He paid for your sanity. God cares
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: about how your mind is, he said, do not worry,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: because he's watching your head. He loves you. He loves you.
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: He may not.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Condone everything you do, but he loves you. You are
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: not what you did. He loves you. Right now, I
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: bring your sons and daughters to you, your sheep that
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: have gone astray. I lay them at the feet of
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: the shepherd. And oh how you love them, Oh how
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: you love them, Oh how you shed your blood for them.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Oh how you washed him, Oh how you cleanse it?
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: How you break curses off of them, Oh, how you
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: suffered for them so that they could have sanity and sanctity,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: so that they could have dignity, so that they could
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: be at peace. I pray that not one soul around
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: this altar would ever be the same again, that the
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: power of God would move in their life in supernatural ways,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: that they would leave better than they came, That they
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: would be made whole and set free, that shame and
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: guilt that has caused them dis ease and disgrace would
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: be washed away, that chapa washed away, washed away, washed
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: out of their mind, washed out of their spirit, and
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: that they would be made whole. And I decree and
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: declare that it is done right now in the name
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: of Jesus, and the whole church celebrated, and the whole
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: church celebrated now quickly before I dismissed the service, passing Michael,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: I want you to come dismiss the service before I
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: dismissis service. If there are people in the audience or
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: people at the altar who would like to be members
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: of the Potter's House, I want to be your pastor.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I want to be your pastor. In the autumn of
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: my life I want to leave a deposit in you
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: that would stay with you the rest of your life.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: I believe that God has given me something that belongs
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: to you, and if he can get it through me,
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: he will give it to me. And if I'm minister
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: in such a way and this church ministers in such
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: a way that your soul resonates with it, I don't
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: care about your background, your ethnicity, your age. I don't
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: care whether you old on a walk or or young
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: in a baby blanket. I want to be your pastor.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: Come to my left if you'd like to be a
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: member of this church. Come to my left right now.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: Come on church, Come on church, Come on, shirts, Come
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: on church, call church on church. Come on shirts, all church,
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: come on church. Come on shirts.
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: You come on shirts, Come on shirts, Come on church,
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: Come on church, Come on shirts.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Come on church. That's still coming. And dozens, perhaps hundreds
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: of people are coming to make department's house the church
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: a come on.
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: Come on.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: The new members room has got over the.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: Floor, Come on, come on shirts, Come on church.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: We didn't build this building to have into seats.
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: Come on, churts.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: We didn't build this building till the end. You could
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: just watch on line. We feel this church to be
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: a functioning turn. This is God's story, This is God's noise,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: This is God's noise, and all the happy people praise
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: the Lord. You ought to be happy. You ought to
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: be happy. You ought to be happy. You ought to
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: be happy. You ought to be happy. You ought to
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: be happy. Man, Yeah, man, I feel you. You ought
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: to be happy, you ought to be happy. I'm so
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: glad you got to tell me your story. I'm so
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: glad you got to tell me your story.
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on,
- 1:29:50Speaker 4: come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Come on. Lord God they're still coming. Now, wait a minute,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: get your pocketbook and everything, because after this it's gonna
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: be over. And I want you to come as close
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: to the stage as you can. It's old school, this
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: old fashioned, but we're gonna dismiss you as a family.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: As a family. We're a big church, but we're always
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: gonna be a family. We're gonna always be connected. We're
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: gonna always be able to stand by each other and
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: support each other in good times and in bad. In
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: Charles Dickens' times, in the moments in life where you
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: can't even explain how you are. We're going to stick
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: together and let's gather around the oultel, young and old,
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: black and white, brown. This is what America needs to see.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: This is what America needs to see that we can
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: be in the same space and love each other because
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: of Jesus. This is what's going wrong in our country.
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: We've lost sight of what's right. You're my brother to
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: You're my brother. Come up here, you yeah, come on, yeah,
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: you come up here. I'm gonna put your this fire.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Come up here, you my brother, do yeah, you my brother?
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Come here? What's out? Man?
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: I spoke.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: I spoke this to existence. You spoke this into existence.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: You saw this moment coming here, It is here, it
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: is I have never done this before. So maybe this
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: is a sign and a witness to you, and maybe
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: we can be a sign to the world that together
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: we can make this world a better place. I love you, man,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: I love you. Give it up. Come on. This is
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: what the world out to look like. This is what
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: the world out to look like. This is what the
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: world out to look like. Come here, brother, come here, yeah, yeah,
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: come on, yeah. I'm picking on white folks, come on,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: come on, come on, pigging on you come on, come on,
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: come on, come on up here, coming up here, Come on,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: up here, come on up here. Welcome to the family.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: What's up, dude, Welcome to the family. Come on here,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: come on, come on. I need a sistant up here.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: I need a couple of sisters. I need a couple
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: of sisters. Come on, I need a couple of sisters.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: I need a couple of sisters. I want a woman
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: to own the stay women on the state. This is
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: what family looks like. We don't have to look alike.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: We don't have to think alike. We don't have to
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: dress alike. We don't have to walk alike. We don't
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: have to shop at the same places. What brings us
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: together is the blood, not our natural blood, the blood
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is what makes us want.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Do y'all get that? Everybody who gets set cop your hands,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: your hands, hot your hands. I have no need to
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: shoot you. I have no desire to suit you. I
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: have no desire. I hope you got no need to
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: shoot me. I hope you have no need to shoot me. Together,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: we must demonstrate and model to the world what love
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: looks like. The girl has lost their minds we y'all
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: get that. And I'm calling you together, and I'm calling
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: you to stand together. And I know we come from
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: different ends of town. How many people come from North Dallas?
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Make some noise if you come from North Dallas. How
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: many of you come from Desoda? How many have you
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: come from South Dallas? How many have you come from
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: Fort Worth? I don't care where you come from or
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: what you drive. The church should transcend all of that stuff.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Ye'll get it. We got people listening at me on translators.
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: We got people who are speaking Portuguese. We got people
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: who are speaking Spanish. We got people listening who speak Swakil.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: We translate into ninety different languages. I bet you they're
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: that at least sixty thousand to ninety thousand people watching
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: me online right now from all over the world. We
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: need to show them a better America, a better Christianity,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: a better faith, a better walk with God.
- 1:34:34Speaker 6: Are you hearing me?
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Michael's pastor Phillips is gonna
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: pray you out. Listen. There are too many lonely people
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: standing here. How can we have this many people and
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: have people lonely? How can we come together and talk
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: about Jesus, and you go home to isolation with nobody
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: to talk to and nowhere to go. The reason I
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: call you together as a family is because I don't
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: want you to just come here and watch a movie.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: I want you to have an experience that creates bonding
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: and closeness and communication where you can keep it real,
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: even if keeping it real means talking about stuff that's wrong.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: Tired of bearing fulmers. I'm tired, y'all. I'm tired of
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: caskets rolling in and out tied. It's gotta be a
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: better answer. Are you with me? And I know it's
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: COVID and we supposed to be careful and all that
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: kind of stuff. Put your hand on somebody's shoulder, just
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: to let 'em know that that they not alone. Loneliness
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: is killing us. Oh, come on past the phillips. As
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: as we pray out, I want you all to say
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: something about love, or something about brotherhood, or something about family.
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I want you to find something to sing that draws
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: people together, because the only thing that would overcome hate
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: is love. Are y'all with me? Faster, have final words,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: talk to us and take us out. Thank you, Bishop?
- 1:36:17Speaker 6: Can we thank God for our Bishop, just for a moment,
- 1:36:26Speaker 6: look at somebody, say tomorrow belongs to the Lord.
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Come on, put your hand on that shoulder, that person
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: right next to you. Leave no one left out.
- 1:36:39Speaker 6: Father, we come to you right now, understanding the complexity
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: of our times, but knowing we do not serve and ambigorous.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: God, for we know that all things work.
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: Together for the good of those who love the Lord
- 1:37:00Speaker 6: and are called according to your purpose.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: So, Father, we step into the.
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: Unforced rhythm of your grace, and we lay our anxiety down.
- 1:37:14Speaker 5: We lay our anxiety down because we will not allow
- 1:37:18Speaker 5: the limits of time to produce unlimited anxiety in our life.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: We will give no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow belongs
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: to you.
- 1:37:31Speaker 7: And because there is still a fountain filled with your
- 1:37:35Speaker 7: precious blood that was drawn from Emanuel's veins. We will
- 1:37:42Speaker 7: be at peace because we have the power, the tools,
- 1:37:46Speaker 7: the weaponry to plead the blood of Jesus. So over
- 1:37:52Speaker 7: every household, over every family, over every individual.
- 1:37:56Speaker 8: Father, we plead the blood of Jesus, our loved ones,
- 1:38:01Speaker 8: over every individual we're worried about. We plead the blood
- 1:38:05Speaker 8: of Jesus over those who are shudding and sick, and
- 1:38:09Speaker 8: those who are infirmed, we plead the blood of Jesus.
- 1:38:13Speaker 8: Let your precious healing blood flow to every person that we.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: Are worried about.
- 1:38:20Speaker 8: Now, Father, may your peace, that passive all understanding God.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: Our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
- 1:38:32Speaker 8: Now unto him who is able to keep us from
- 1:38:35Speaker 8: falling and present us faults for the presence of His glory.
- 1:38:40Speaker 8: To the only wise God be glory, majesty, dominion, and
- 1:38:46Speaker 8: power in Jesus' name.
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: Somebody say, Amen, God, bless you. We love you. Love
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: somebody on the way out see you on, said I.
