- 2:00Speaker 5: Sitting you on the other side.
- 2:03Speaker 6: My graduates from my school being forced back drop b drop,
- 2:08Speaker 6: Mike drop backdrop drop.
- 2:22Speaker 4: The time is right right now. There's so much news
- 2:24Speaker 4: coming out about bitcoin, Ethereum n f t S non
- 2:29Speaker 4: fungible tokens is crazy. Like you know, Mark Cuban talked
- 2:32Speaker 4: about that, then Gary Ve spoke about that. A lot
- 2:36Speaker 4: of that stuff is built on the blockchain. All of
- 2:38Speaker 4: it is built on a blockchain, a lot of it's
- 2:40Speaker 4: built on Ethereum platform. So you know, we understand that.
- 2:44Speaker 4: You know, there's so much stuff that we have to cover.
- 2:48Speaker 4: It's bigger than just stocks on market. Mondays like you
- 2:50Speaker 4: know what I mean, Like ALSIA is a s mortgage
- 2:53Speaker 4: board of information everything, every aspect of finances what we cover,
- 2:59Speaker 4: and that's every thing everything, and of.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Course we have to cover cryptocurrency.
- 3:03Speaker 4: So you know, we spoke about it a few times,
- 3:05Speaker 4: but we thought it would be good to just do
- 3:07Speaker 4: a real, real deep dive.
- 3:08Speaker 3: And the purpose of these is to.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Really educate people and started to you know, where everybody's at,
- 3:13Speaker 4: catch them where you, catch you where you're at, and
- 3:16Speaker 4: take the time and really just you know, grow and
- 3:19Speaker 4: all learn together.
- 3:20Speaker 5: So we have four it's a beautiful thing.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Even doing the research for it, it was like having
- 3:23Speaker 2: flashbacks of those times in twenty seventeen where it was
- 3:27Speaker 2: really no sleep for real doing twenty four hour shifts
- 3:30Speaker 2: and reading white papers, and so we don't.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Let you out inside of the process.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Some of the stuff that we learned and were still learning,
- 3:37Speaker 2: Like the NFT thing was a new conversation for us,
- 3:39Speaker 2: but it was like exciting because all right, we have
- 3:41Speaker 2: to go find something new to learn.
- 3:43Speaker 5: So we don't let y'all.
- 3:45Speaker 2: In, and hopefully we'll open your eyes to some things
- 3:47Speaker 2: that you didn't know, and hopefully you leave from this
- 3:49Speaker 2: conversation knowing more than you did before you got here,
- 3:52Speaker 2: and so you can.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Take it back.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You know, you know, the only the only fee is
- 3:55Speaker 2: go tell somebody else, Go teach somebody else what you've learned.
- 3:58Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of people thought, a lot of people
- 4:00Speaker 4: we may not know our history. I know, we got
- 4:01Speaker 4: a lot of new people that have come aboard. So
- 4:04Speaker 4: shout out to everybody that's a new earner. But you
- 4:07Speaker 4: got to understand that, you know, we have actually been
- 4:10Speaker 4: in crypto for years. We was in crypto in twenty seventeen,
- 4:14Speaker 4: early twenty seventeen, so this is really nothing new to us.
- 4:18Speaker 4: We were in crypto years and we stayed at least
- 4:22Speaker 4: I stayed understood, kept off.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Life came back.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Yeah, we haven't really talked about it too much because
- 4:29Speaker 4: it wasn't really you know, it wasn't a buzz of
- 4:31Speaker 4: the town. Stocks became something that everybody wanted to know about,
- 4:36Speaker 4: so you know, we rode the wave, and you know,
- 4:38Speaker 4: we are not we don't discriminate. So yeah, but we're
- 4:44Speaker 4: not new to crypto currency. We spent hours, hour hours
- 4:48Speaker 4: in my in my apartment mapping out strategies, getting nano ledgers,
- 4:53Speaker 4: figuring out how to move coins, figuring out privacy coins,
- 4:58Speaker 4: master notes. Now we've been doing this for years, like years,
- 5:02Speaker 4: Like we literally stayed up till three o'clock in the morning.
- 5:05Speaker 4: That's when I first learned about the whole pump and
- 5:07Speaker 4: dunk wait before game stop seeing it every single day
- 5:11Speaker 4: in crypto, watching crypto, watching all coins, big coin. This
- 5:15Speaker 4: is something that we've been doing for years.
- 5:16Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm still paying for the mass and node,
- 5:19Speaker 2: so like that's a more advanced conversation in the crypto space.
- 5:21Speaker 2: But the mass and node is it just generates coins.
- 5:25Speaker 2: That's all you do, your minding coins in a sense
- 5:27Speaker 2: all day and then every you know, a few hours.
- 5:30Speaker 5: You just make sure that your screen's not.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Sleeping because if your screen goes to sleep, then that
- 5:33Speaker 2: slows down the process.
- 5:34Speaker 5: So imagine that.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Every few hours you're waking up to move your mouth
- 5:37Speaker 2: or just keep it on and let the electricity just
- 5:40Speaker 2: run up. So yeah, it's a it's a different game.
- 5:43Speaker 2: But I'm glad that we played in it because now
- 5:44Speaker 2: we got some knowledge in it.
- 5:45Speaker 3: So we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna get
- 5:47Speaker 3: right to it.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Let's get the bro on, the boy Wonder himself, Let's get.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Them more and good brother, what's going on? You?
- 5:59Speaker 7: Everything is good? That everything's good? How y'all doing?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Good? Manum plaques on the wall and all that.
- 6:05Speaker 3: You know it look look look like an R and
- 6:08Speaker 3: B singer.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Record his demo.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Get this state right, look get this there we go,
- 6:18Speaker 7: look better.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Now there we go to chairman himself. There you go
- 6:21Speaker 2: find them in the streets.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Is it frozen? You're working?
- 6:25Speaker 5: I think you're frozen.
- 6:26Speaker 3: You just you just froze. You was good before, but
- 6:28Speaker 3: then you just froze.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Just now, okay, something happened. Let's I'll just go back
- 6:31Speaker 7: to this camera. What's up?
- 6:32Speaker 3: Brother?
- 6:33Speaker 2: They asked him, if you want to sign them to
- 6:35Speaker 2: a record, record deal, right, you look like a.
- 6:38Speaker 3: R Motown records right now he records.
- 6:43Speaker 7: Nah, how y'all do it? But y'all do it?
- 6:45Speaker 4: Were great man, were great, good man, good man. No,
- 6:48Speaker 4: Justine is a good, good, great dude man. I'll give
- 6:51Speaker 4: the quick introduction. If anybody hasn't watched this podcast, you're
- 6:53Speaker 4: doing yourself with your minister's service with episode it.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Troy, Episode Justice is one eighteen.
- 6:59Speaker 3: I believe one hundred and eighteen. Let's just verify that check.
- 7:02Speaker 4: But Justin we met Justin a while ago in Atlanta.
- 7:06Speaker 4: You know, we spent a lot of time in Atlanta,
- 7:08Speaker 4: and you know he's friends with our friends Circle of CEO,
- 7:12Speaker 4: so all of those guys, a good friend of ours,
- 7:14Speaker 4: Alex good Energy, missed two weeks out, Neimyah Davis him
- 7:18Speaker 4: five hundred.
- 7:19Speaker 3: The whole crew. Shout out to Googe, shout out to
- 7:22Speaker 3: everybody out there.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Jeremy Anderson and one nineteen episode one nineteen, and Justin
- 7:29Speaker 4: was just a good dude man. He just met us,
- 7:31Speaker 4: super humble and was just you know, just giving us
- 7:35Speaker 4: game like, telling us about you know, what he was
- 7:37Speaker 4: doing with four X and cryptocurrency and trading. And we
- 7:41Speaker 4: realized that we had a lot of synergy because you know,
- 7:43Speaker 4: obviously everybody knows, like, you know what having in stocks,
- 7:46Speaker 4: and you know, a lot of the charts that he
- 7:48Speaker 4: was explaining to us that he was using for four
- 7:50Speaker 4: X and crypto, it was the same charts that we
- 7:52Speaker 4: use for stocks, and you know, it's it's all, it's
- 7:56Speaker 4: all kind of the same language. So justin extremely stremely successful.
- 8:00Speaker 4: He looks like he's twelve years old, but yeah, saying
- 8:04Speaker 4: he's extremely season that in the game, extremely knowledgeable, great communicator,
- 8:09Speaker 4: and this is an overall just a really good dude.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Man.
- 8:11Speaker 3: So when we wanted to do.
- 8:12Speaker 4: The Crypto and four X episode, he was the first
- 8:15Speaker 4: person that we call, and.
- 8:17Speaker 3: We got it done in Atlanta.
- 8:18Speaker 4: And then, you know, I realized that there's so much
- 8:20Speaker 4: information about cryptocurrency and there's still a lot of people
- 8:23Speaker 4: that don't really know, and there's nothing to be ashamed of,
- 8:26Speaker 4: Like this is why we're here to give people the information.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Like you know, sometimes people just hear so much stuff
- 8:31Speaker 4: and they feel like it's too advanced for them or
- 8:33Speaker 4: it's already too far from them to actually get in.
- 8:35Speaker 4: But no, no man, no woman shall.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Be left behind. Man.
- 8:39Speaker 5: We had anyone on the show.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Now, we had to save everybody.
- 8:42Speaker 7: So I'm not sure what happened.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I think.
- 8:44Speaker 7: Can y'all still hear me?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:46Speaker 7: You went out.
- 8:47Speaker 3: You're good. You're good.
- 8:47Speaker 5: We can see you too.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you're good, You're good.
- 8:49Speaker 7: Y'all can still hear me. Okay, I don't know what
- 8:51Speaker 7: happens to sound.
- 8:51Speaker 3: But you know you're good.
- 8:53Speaker 7: You Oh, there we go, There we go. All right,
- 8:54Speaker 7: there you go. Who was the thing you asked last?
- 8:56Speaker 3: I'm sorry that I didn't introduce you yet.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I just tell y'all like, okay, what happens.
- 9:04Speaker 4: We're about to get We about to get into it.
- 9:06Speaker 4: So yeah, I'm not going to talk too long. I'm
- 9:09Speaker 4: gonna let Justin take the stage. But first I just
- 9:10Speaker 4: want to let people know what this is. So if
- 9:12Speaker 4: you're new, So we have Eyo University. Eyo University is
- 9:16Speaker 4: the biggest, the strongest online community education in the world
- 9:21Speaker 4: period when it comes to business. So you know, we
- 9:23Speaker 4: look at it like we have public school, we have
- 9:24Speaker 4: private school. So Eyo University is our private school. So
- 9:27Speaker 4: with Eyo University, it's like the podcast on Stories. There's
- 9:30Speaker 4: an extension of what we do every day for free
- 9:33Speaker 4: on YouTube on Instagram and with our podcast. But Eyo
- 9:36Speaker 4: University we actually just you know, some people just you know,
- 9:39Speaker 4: you need your handheld, You just need a community around you.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So with Eyo University, we do a class every single Wednesday.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Every single Wednesday, we do a class on a different topic,
- 9:48Speaker 4: whether it's credit, whether it's stocks, whether it's real estate,
- 9:52Speaker 4: today's cryptocurrency. And it's a zoom class, so the presenters
- 9:57Speaker 4: presents for about a half an hour that we open
- 9:58Speaker 4: it up a question and answers and it's like a
- 10:00Speaker 4: real classroom. We do that every single Wednesday. So right
- 10:03Speaker 4: now we have archived with one hundred classes. And then
- 10:06Speaker 4: also with Eyo University, shout out to mt the mortgage guy.
- 10:09Speaker 4: He put together the home Buyers Blueprint, which is over
- 10:13Speaker 4: fourteen hours of everything you need to know about a
- 10:15Speaker 4: home from A to Z. Like, if you think about it,
- 10:18Speaker 4: buying a home is the most important thing that most
- 10:20Speaker 4: people do, and there's no blueprint for it. So he
- 10:22Speaker 4: provided a blueprint for it from A to Z And
- 10:25Speaker 4: that's part of it. We do monthly financial planning calls
- 10:28Speaker 4: with me and a financial advisor. If you didn't know that,
- 10:30Speaker 4: that's part of it. We have a Facebook group with
- 10:33Speaker 4: over five thousand people in the Facebook group. That's lit,
- 10:36Speaker 4: that's private, that's part of it. We have a movie club,
- 10:38Speaker 4: which Troy heads up, and then we have real estate calls.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Every every two weeks we have real estate calls. So
- 10:44Speaker 4: we built the whole community with university.
- 10:46Speaker 2: So we forget to add what all the earners always
- 10:48Speaker 2: tell me, Troy, you got to talk about the accountability teams.
- 10:51Speaker 2: So we got we gotta highlight the accountability teams, which
- 10:54Speaker 2: have been amazing.
- 10:55Speaker 5: Right.
- 10:55Speaker 2: So a lot of times we share our goals with
- 10:57Speaker 2: our family members and they frown upon it because they
- 10:59Speaker 2: don't really unders and the envision, they don't really understand
- 11:01Speaker 2: what it's to be an entrepreneur. I have that type
- 11:02Speaker 2: of spirit, and so with our accountability teams have become
- 11:05Speaker 2: a just you sharing your goals with people who have
- 11:07Speaker 2: a common mind and the common thought process.
- 11:09Speaker 5: And so that has grown.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I mean, I remember we started with like thirty seven
- 11:13Speaker 2: people and it's well over one hundred, maybe over two
- 11:15Speaker 2: hundred people now, So shout out to everybody that's part
- 11:18Speaker 2: of the triads or I know there's the groups of
- 11:20Speaker 2: five now and so that's is incredible and this Saturday,
- 11:23Speaker 2: we got orientations, so.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Yeah, everybody's so yeah. So it's a whole vibe.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And we actually have ten employees.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Now we have two full time employees for Eyo University,
- 11:34Speaker 4: eight for Earn Your Leisure, So it's a business too.
- 11:37Speaker 4: We employ people, and it's we're running it like a
- 11:39Speaker 4: real institution, which but the difference is that it's extremely affordable.
- 11:43Speaker 4: All of that what I just name for five hundred
- 11:45Speaker 4: dollars seventy five percent all five hundred dollars for the
- 11:47Speaker 4: entire year. So we have to raise the price because
- 11:50Speaker 4: we have employees and we have overheads. So the price
- 11:53Speaker 4: is going to get raised in three days. But until
- 11:56Speaker 4: then we have that. So what we do every Wednesday,
- 12:00Speaker 4: the last Wednesday of the month, we open it up.
- 12:02Speaker 3: We know how, we don't know how. What we do
- 12:03Speaker 3: we show it to the world.
- 12:04Speaker 4: So the last Wednesday of the month, we do open enrollment,
- 12:07Speaker 4: which is an open university, open Eyo University class, so
- 12:10Speaker 4: everybody can see it and if you're interested in joining,
- 12:13Speaker 4: you can join.
- 12:14Speaker 3: If not, you get free information.
- 12:16Speaker 4: So today's class is on is on cryptocurrency Bitcoin, everything
- 12:20Speaker 4: you need to know. I'll put the link to Eyo university.
- 12:22Speaker 4: In the chat it's eyouniversity dot com. No promo code needed,
- 12:27Speaker 4: seventy five percent off right now and yeah, you know,
- 12:30Speaker 4: investing your education if you're interested. So without further ado, justin,
- 12:34Speaker 4: I'll give you the floor up my brother, Yeah now
- 12:37Speaker 4: and listen.
- 12:38Speaker 6: I appreciate you all. You all having me. I'm over
- 12:40Speaker 6: here listening. I'm like, man, five hundred dollars, that's a like,
- 12:45Speaker 6: that's you know, I don't even know people that's on here.
- 12:47Speaker 6: Y'all understand the value that's in there, like I don't.
- 12:50Speaker 6: You couldn't probably pay them five hundred dollars to sit
- 12:53Speaker 6: down one on one put to have access to them.
- 12:56Speaker 6: You know what they've been able to do.
- 12:57Speaker 7: You know, congratulations you guys moving into the number one spot. Man,
- 13:00Speaker 7: that's big for your podcast.
- 13:02Speaker 6: And you know, I said it to you guys in
- 13:04Speaker 6: person and I'll say it again, But everything that you
- 13:07Speaker 6: guys have sown, you know, the last few years, it's
- 13:10Speaker 6: I mean, you're talking about decades of blessings that's coming
- 13:12Speaker 6: your way. So you know, I know, not only I'm
- 13:14Speaker 6: appreciative of what you guys have been able to build,
- 13:16Speaker 6: but there are thousands of lives that will continue to
- 13:19Speaker 6: be changed and literally millions around the world that will
- 13:22Speaker 6: be able to live their lifestyle because of the things
- 13:24Speaker 6: you guys teach.
- 13:24Speaker 7: So appreciate you guys.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Appreciate you, appreciate your brother absolutely.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Hey, justin you need me to give you the ability
- 13:32Speaker 2: to share screen or make your host.
- 13:34Speaker 7: Yeah you can.
- 13:35Speaker 6: I'll pull up some things, but a lot of it,
- 13:37Speaker 6: you know, I'll be I'll be kind of just sharing
- 13:38Speaker 6: some things on my camera and talking and just sharing
- 13:42Speaker 6: some notes, just kind of some of the things that
- 13:44Speaker 6: we were talking about. Because tonight's call is really you
- 13:47Speaker 6: know about digital currency. Uh, you know, a lot of
- 13:50Speaker 6: people call it crypto, but there's a lot of them now.
- 13:53Speaker 7: So I wanted to, you know, really just share.
- 13:55Speaker 6: With you guys some things that I've been able to
- 13:57Speaker 6: do over the last you know, for four and a
- 13:59Speaker 6: half years that I've been trading crypto and digital currency.
- 14:03Speaker 6: I think one of the first things people asking, like, Yo,
- 14:06Speaker 6: how do I start? Because of so many places to start?
- 14:09Speaker 6: You know, me and Rasha were texting last night about
- 14:11Speaker 6: n f T S. I was up till about four
- 14:13Speaker 6: point thirty, you know, playing around with things. I'm like,
- 14:15Speaker 6: after I did the last interview. One of my buddies
- 14:18Speaker 6: text me.
- 14:19Speaker 4: It was like, oh you sound your sound went out?
- 14:30Speaker 4: Sound went out? No no you no.
- 14:41Speaker 7: Good? Good good?
- 14:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I said. One of my buddies had hit me
- 14:45Speaker 6: up about n f TS and so I was studying that.
- 14:48Speaker 6: And so you know, the the the the spaces continue
- 14:52Speaker 6: to grow and evolve, and you know, as we continue
- 14:54Speaker 6: to grow in the valve, you got to just jump
- 14:56Speaker 6: into it. And so, you know, I think the best
- 14:58Speaker 6: place for a new person.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Oh then they don't want to be just just just
- 15:04Speaker 4: and I want you to get your sounds going in
- 15:06Speaker 4: and out.
- 15:07Speaker 3: You might want to use the other camera angle that
- 15:08Speaker 3: you have before.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe your mic.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Maybe that camera angle is different.
- 15:16Speaker 5: In the matrix.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's always an issue with zoom man.
- 15:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not sure I can see y'all.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I don't know what's going on.
- 15:23Speaker 7: Like I can see y'all and hear y'all. Y'all can't
- 15:25Speaker 7: hear me.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Yeah, we can hear you now, but it's going in
- 15:27Speaker 4: and out? Did you switch camera angle? Like you you
- 15:28Speaker 4: might want to use the other camera angle that you
- 15:30Speaker 4: have before.
- 15:32Speaker 7: I can try.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you know what else you can do
- 15:35Speaker 2: just if you go to your volume settings and just
- 15:37Speaker 2: make it from your your your desktop or your laptop.
- 15:40Speaker 5: Let that.
- 15:41Speaker 7: Okay, let me let me try that. Let me let me.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Try Sometimes if the mic is too powerful, sometimes it
- 15:47Speaker 2: throws the computer off a little bit.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Okay, is this any better? Is it working any better?
- 15:51Speaker 8: You know?
- 15:52Speaker 5: Okay?
- 15:52Speaker 7: All right? Get that.
- 15:54Speaker 6: So it's a couple of platforms that I think it's
- 15:56Speaker 6: a good place to start.
- 15:58Speaker 7: Coinbase. They have two of them, right, coin Base.
- 16:01Speaker 6: The regular one is the easiest one to navigate for
- 16:03Speaker 6: like a new person, So you literally can download that, uh.
- 16:06Speaker 7: And then it's another one that I've been using.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah you want you went back out again? You went
- 16:15Speaker 3: back out again?
- 16:16Speaker 4: Bro?
- 16:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know, but you.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah yeah, use that. Use that. Use that line
- 16:32Speaker 3: is good.
- 16:32Speaker 7: But let's let's just see you know what. I feel like,
- 16:34Speaker 7: it's like right over my face.
- 16:35Speaker 6: But yeah, So I use coin Base, I use Exodus,
- 16:39Speaker 6: and literally you just go to the site, you can
- 16:41Speaker 6: go to your phone, and you open up an account.
- 16:44Speaker 7: It's literally that simple.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Most of them have a verification that you have to
- 16:48Speaker 6: go through, taking pictures, uploading your ID front and back,
- 16:52Speaker 6: and then you have to go through the process of
- 16:53Speaker 6: getting verified. H so it's very very simple. A lot
- 16:57Speaker 6: of people ask me how to protect your coins. This
- 16:59Speaker 6: is actually one of the one of the ledgers that
- 17:01Speaker 6: I actually.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Use flash back yep, yeah, you guys can.
- 17:04Speaker 7: See it here right, the Ledger nano S.
- 17:07Speaker 6: There's I think there's three or four of them that
- 17:09Speaker 6: they actually offer right now, but I use the Ledger
- 17:12Speaker 6: of nano S.
- 17:12Speaker 7: It's very simple to use.
- 17:13Speaker 6: It's like a little USB that you can you can
- 17:17Speaker 6: plug into your computer, and to me, it's one of
- 17:19Speaker 6: the safest places to keep it. Exodus also has a
- 17:22Speaker 6: while that's pretty secure. It's very similar to have similar
- 17:24Speaker 6: things that they put together, but very easy to use.
- 17:28Speaker 6: If you decide to get one of these, Okay, make
- 17:32Speaker 6: sure you go to Ledger, like their actual website. I
- 17:35Speaker 6: think it's like ledger dot com, right, let me just
- 17:38Speaker 6: double check. I believe it's like ledger dot com though.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Make sure you go there because there's some that are
- 17:43Speaker 6: like on Amazon and other places that are cheaper. But
- 17:46Speaker 6: what's happening is people are setting these up and then
- 17:49Speaker 6: they're stealing people though mm hm. So you know there's
- 17:53Speaker 6: always scammers that come around, so I would just make
- 17:55Speaker 6: sure you go to the place, especially with your crypto,
- 17:57Speaker 6: if you're gonna be holding a lot, you know, if
- 17:59Speaker 6: you're only gonna have a little bit, you can actually
- 18:00Speaker 6: keep it into a coin base.
- 18:02Speaker 7: But obviously you know.
- 18:03Speaker 6: You have people that that's steal that as well, and
- 18:05Speaker 6: so you know, I would say, definitely get some type
- 18:08Speaker 6: of a wallet or something to be able to protect it.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Let's let's let's let's let's let's unpack that a little bit,
- 18:14Speaker 4: because that's something that we had to learn when we
- 18:16Speaker 4: first started. So for people, I want to I don't
- 18:20Speaker 4: want to go over anybody's head. We want to make
- 18:21Speaker 4: sure everybody gets the information. So we we know it
- 18:24Speaker 4: because we're in the space. But a wilet for people
- 18:27Speaker 4: that may not be aware of is that's where you're
- 18:30Speaker 4: actually storing your cryptocurrency. And correct me if I'm wrong,
- 18:34Speaker 4: justin the reason why you're storing it on the wallet
- 18:36Speaker 4: is because it could be compromised. If it's on a site,
- 18:40Speaker 4: you know, it can be stolen. A lot of different
- 18:42Speaker 4: things can be happened. And the reason why you said
- 18:44Speaker 4: don't get it off Amazon is because people can program
- 18:48Speaker 4: it where you actually when you put it in and
- 18:51Speaker 4: they actually can read it and they can, they can
- 18:53Speaker 4: steal your cryptocurrency.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Correct, Yeah, so kind of what happens is that you
- 18:57Speaker 2: load it's preloaded already, right because when you get the
- 19:00Speaker 2: nano ledger, there's all types of passwords.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:02Speaker 2: So if I've already purchased one and I'm reselling it,
- 19:04Speaker 2: which is really what's happening, I resell it, but I've
- 19:06Speaker 2: already put the codes in. By the time you transfer
- 19:09Speaker 2: your money to the wallet, I lock you out, take
- 19:11Speaker 2: the money, and now it's gone.
- 19:14Speaker 5: And that's why we try to take it off.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Well, one of the reasons we take it off of
- 19:17Speaker 2: these platforms like finance or something like that is because
- 19:20Speaker 2: they're not regulated, right, so like if you lose your money,
- 19:23Speaker 2: there's nobody to call.
- 19:24Speaker 7: Yeah, there's nobody. There's nobody to call. And really, you know,
- 19:28Speaker 7: because I have people say, man, that's scary.
- 19:29Speaker 6: I'm like, but it's the same thing as if it
- 19:30Speaker 6: happened you know, if you was walking on the street
- 19:32Speaker 6: with a whole bunch of money in your parket. It's
- 19:33Speaker 6: only so much you can do, you know what I'm saying,
- 19:35Speaker 6: Because it's just that's what it is. But this allows
- 19:38Speaker 6: you to not only it doesn't just have to be
- 19:40Speaker 6: here too, Like as long as you got your pass
- 19:41Speaker 6: goes and stuff like that, you can still access it.
- 19:44Speaker 7: And it's something that's like literally yours.
- 19:45Speaker 6: So it is scary, you know, from a sense, especially
- 19:48Speaker 6: if you got a lot of currency crypto out there.
- 19:51Speaker 6: But you know, I've had friends that literally took their
- 19:54Speaker 6: cell phone to Apple or ticket to T Mobile and
- 19:56Speaker 6: got their phone back and crypto was gone.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Well let's let's let's talk about that too, because we
- 20:01Speaker 3: have a freendchiuse.
- 20:02Speaker 4: I'll even say his name. We have a friend that
- 20:06Speaker 4: and I told him not to do this. So on Binance,
- 20:10Speaker 4: it was a two way authentication, the Google two way authentication.
- 20:13Speaker 4: And I said, look, bro, before you before you get
- 20:17Speaker 4: a new phone, take the Google authentication off of it,
- 20:22Speaker 4: because when you get a new phone, it might not
- 20:24Speaker 4: carry over. And he didn't do that, and he got
- 20:27Speaker 4: a new phone and he and he's locked out of
- 20:30Speaker 4: his Binance account now because the old Google authentication is
- 20:34Speaker 4: not it's not on his thing anymore.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Then upload to it.
- 20:37Speaker 7: Ah, that is a nightmare. That's and especially if there's
- 20:41Speaker 7: a lot of money on there. But you know, that's
- 20:43Speaker 7: that's really one of the things that you know, you
- 20:45Speaker 7: kind of learn.
- 20:45Speaker 6: So I hope you all have to take notes on
- 20:46Speaker 6: that stuff too, because it's like, you know, there's a
- 20:48Speaker 6: lot of security and then you know, sometimes it's too
- 20:50Speaker 6: much security that you can't even get back into it
- 20:52Speaker 6: if there's a problem, you know, and so you know,
- 20:55Speaker 6: you keep stuff in safe places. They tell you how
- 20:57Speaker 6: to secure it once you get it, and we're not
- 21:00Speaker 6: stuff and we're not to save it because this continues
- 21:03Speaker 6: to go on.
- 21:03Speaker 7: You know, I think you're you're just exposed when you're undaware.
- 21:06Speaker 6: And I think that's what the power of this this
- 21:08Speaker 6: platform is as you start aware. Once you're aware of it,
- 21:10Speaker 6: like you don't think, oh I'm gonna take my phone
- 21:12Speaker 6: here and change this.
- 21:13Speaker 7: How it can impact you later. So that's that's something
- 21:16Speaker 7: that's really really important.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Uh And yeah, there are some tokens that you can
- 21:20Speaker 6: you can still stake on the Ledger. There's some that
- 21:24Speaker 6: you can stake in other Wallace and you know if
- 21:27Speaker 6: those of others asking about staking, it's like, uh, you
- 21:30Speaker 6: literally just let your crypto sit and it earns you know,
- 21:33Speaker 6: a percentage by you're just holding it.
- 21:36Speaker 7: And so you know, I have some.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Coins that steak some of them even stake on on coinbase,
- 21:42Speaker 6: and then some of them steak on the Ledger, and
- 21:44Speaker 6: there's another couple of other places that you can actually
- 21:46Speaker 6: just let your crypto sit there in or to earn
- 21:49Speaker 6: more of that particular crypto, just to actually.
- 21:53Speaker 4: That was something that was real interesting to me when
- 21:54Speaker 4: I jumped into space. It's like there's some coins that, Yeah,
- 21:57Speaker 4: it's kind of like a harvest where you plant this
- 22:00Speaker 4: and then you actually grow more coins by just holding
- 22:04Speaker 4: those coins, Like you might grow like, you know, two
- 22:06Speaker 4: coins a day while holding a coin, and obviously by
- 22:10Speaker 4: doing that, you're actually making more coins, which in theory
- 22:14Speaker 4: you'll be making more money because you'll have more of
- 22:16Speaker 4: those coins and all you got to do is actually
- 22:18Speaker 4: just hold them.
- 22:18Speaker 5: That's kind of what the Master Note was doing.
- 22:20Speaker 4: The Master and Note. Yeah, the mass and is Massing
- 22:23Speaker 4: note still around these days.
- 22:25Speaker 7: I don't even know, bro, I haven't.
- 22:26Speaker 5: I haven't.
- 22:26Speaker 6: I haven't even heard about them in a while. I
- 22:28Speaker 6: haven't heardybody talking about they make. You know, they may still,
- 22:30Speaker 6: but I'm not.
- 22:31Speaker 7: I'm not even I don't even know that much about it.
- 22:33Speaker 5: So for those of y'all not familiar with a mass
- 22:35Speaker 5: and note, what it was.
- 22:36Speaker 2: It was like you buy pretty much a coin that
- 22:38Speaker 2: stakes and it just every it depends on which coin
- 22:41Speaker 2: it is.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Every hour it just makes five.
- 22:45Speaker 2: So you just do that for a day or you
- 22:47Speaker 2: can imagine how many coins you get. But a lot
- 22:49Speaker 2: of times it's extremely expensive because number one, the electricity
- 22:52Speaker 2: bill that causes the power needed to do that, and.
- 22:57Speaker 7: Some almost like mining, it lost you a lot of money.
- 22:59Speaker 5: It cost you a lot of money to do it.
- 23:00Speaker 2: So obviously I can see why people would stop doing
- 23:03Speaker 2: it because of the amount that it costs. And a
- 23:05Speaker 2: lot of times it's so violatile that you might be
- 23:07Speaker 2: staking the coins and you can have a thousand coins,
- 23:09Speaker 2: but if that coin depreciates, it's worth nothing, not usually
- 23:13Speaker 2: just been staken for no reason.
- 23:14Speaker 4: And a lot of these coins, that's why we wanted
- 23:16Speaker 4: to have so much stuff to talk about. But the cryptocurrency.
- 23:19Speaker 4: There's over a thousand coins, but a lot of the
- 23:22Speaker 4: coins are worthless. They're not really, they're not really, they
- 23:25Speaker 4: don't have no they serve no purpose. And this happened
- 23:27Speaker 4: during the crash in twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, and a
- 23:31Speaker 4: lot of those at coins, a lot of those master
- 23:33Speaker 4: notes went down ninety nine percent.
- 23:35Speaker 5: We got them.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Yeah, still that's something that's that's not worth a dime.
- 23:42Speaker 6: But you know, and I think you know that's that's
- 23:44Speaker 6: one of the things that you know, like a coin
- 23:46Speaker 6: market cap is helpful for I mean, it's got so
- 23:49Speaker 6: much data in there. It can help you understand how
- 23:52Speaker 6: to you know, look up you know, different currencies.
- 23:55Speaker 7: It'll tell you know, you know how many.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Currencies there are, because literally it's like thousands of them now,
- 24:00Speaker 6: you know, the same way that you have a whole
- 24:01Speaker 6: bunch of penny stocks that pop up. I mean, there's
- 24:04Speaker 6: digital currencies that popped up. And because it's kind of
- 24:07Speaker 6: like the wild Wi West, and it definitely was in
- 24:09Speaker 6: twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen. It was the wildow West, a
- 24:12Speaker 6: lot of people kind of got taken advantage of. But
- 24:16Speaker 6: coin market cap is a good place to tell you,
- 24:20Speaker 6: like how many there are.
- 24:21Speaker 7: You'll be surprised how many they are.
- 24:23Speaker 5: You know.
- 24:23Speaker 6: One of the things I try to look at when
- 24:24Speaker 6: I'm researching them is like what utility does it serve?
- 24:26Speaker 7: Like what's the purpose of that particular currency.
- 24:30Speaker 6: It's also going to tell you how much volume of
- 24:32Speaker 6: day is coming in and how big the entire market
- 24:36Speaker 6: is because the market has really grown. When I first
- 24:40Speaker 6: started talking about it, it was like, you know, the entire
- 24:42Speaker 6: market of digital currency was growing towards a trillion dollars.
- 24:45Speaker 6: And then this weekend when Bitcoin hit you know, fifty
- 24:48Speaker 6: eight thousand. Obviously it's retraced now, but when it hit
- 24:52Speaker 6: you know, fifty eight thousand, you know, just bitcoin itself
- 24:55Speaker 6: had a trillion dollar market cap, and so that was
- 24:59Speaker 6: really important, uh to to to really track and keep
- 25:02Speaker 6: keep track of. And then it really organizes them based
- 25:05Speaker 6: on how how big they are. So right now, obviously
- 25:07Speaker 6: you're going to see that you know, bitcoins at the top.
- 25:09Speaker 6: So basically you get you know, coin market cap helps
- 25:11Speaker 6: you with some research and helps you identify potential opportunities
- 25:14Speaker 6: that you want to look, you know, to see how
- 25:16Speaker 6: big a coin is.
- 25:17Speaker 2: The So just why while you're doing that, because a
- 25:20Speaker 2: lot of people have to question the difference between a
- 25:23Speaker 2: coin because we see keep saying coin, but there are
- 25:25Speaker 2: tokens as well, and so that's a tricky distinction. And
- 25:28Speaker 2: so to make some clarity or put some clarity on it,
- 25:31Speaker 2: a coin is something that's native to its own blockchain,
- 25:35Speaker 2: and so when you hear bitcoin, it has its own blockchain.
- 25:38Speaker 2: When you hear light coin, it has its own blockchain.
- 25:40Speaker 2: When you have binance coin, it has its own blockchain.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So that's its own traction of history. Really pretty much,
- 25:47Speaker 2: the blockchain is just the history of transactions, and so
- 25:49Speaker 2: those coins have their own histories of transactions. When you
- 25:52Speaker 2: hear the word token and with that that comes up
- 25:55Speaker 2: a lot that is something that is built on another blockchain,
- 25:59Speaker 2: and so.
- 26:00Speaker 5: The most popular one is probably Ethereum.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Most people know Ethereum and they hear it a lot,
- 26:04Speaker 2: so a lot of tokens are built upon that, or Neo,
- 26:06Speaker 2: which was something that we thought we were gonna make
- 26:08Speaker 2: a lot of money on.
- 26:08Speaker 5: We're like, this is the next Ethereum.
- 26:10Speaker 2: And so when when tokens are built on somebody else's
- 26:14Speaker 2: blockchain like ethery or Neo, that's that's when they get
- 26:17Speaker 2: the titles.
- 26:17Speaker 5: So there's a few examples of tokens.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Chain link Ave, which is what Mark Cuban was talking
- 26:23Speaker 2: to us about, aa ve uh, Tether, which is almost
- 26:27Speaker 2: like a stable coin. It kind of mirrors the US dollar.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Those are all built on somebody else's platform. Bit Torrent,
- 26:33Speaker 2: which was part of tron, which is which I lost
- 26:37Speaker 2: some money on.
- 26:38Speaker 5: I tried to get shot to get money.
- 26:40Speaker 2: But another one originally was built on Ethereum and ended
- 26:43Speaker 2: up creating its own blockchain. So now tron has a
- 26:45Speaker 2: blockchain and BitTorrents on top of that, and so that's
- 26:48Speaker 2: the difference between the two.
- 26:50Speaker 5: You have coins and you have tokens. Now a lot,
- 26:53Speaker 5: a lot, a lot.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Of these things that are on coin marketing caps that
- 26:57Speaker 2: are listed, a lot of them are tokens. A lot
- 26:59Speaker 2: of them are built on Ethereum because it's a platform
- 27:02Speaker 2: made to have things built on top of it. That's
- 27:05Speaker 2: what makes it a lot different from bitcoin, because we
- 27:08Speaker 2: don't want to call it a currency, right, so Ethereum
- 27:12Speaker 2: is like the platform you're building on top of bitcoin
- 27:15Speaker 2: is It's almost like what I said.
- 27:19Speaker 6: I think, like the way I try to explain it
- 27:21Speaker 6: is like the coin is kind of like, you know,
- 27:25Speaker 6: like the highway.
- 27:25Speaker 5: You know.
- 27:26Speaker 6: What I'm saying is like, all right, I mean the yeah,
- 27:28Speaker 6: the coin is is the highway, and then the token
- 27:30Speaker 6: is the thing that runs on top of it, like
- 27:32Speaker 6: the cars that's on top of it. So you know,
- 27:34Speaker 6: like ethereum is the is the highway. But then you
- 27:37Speaker 6: got things like Cardonal and a lot of the B
- 27:39Speaker 6: five projects and stuff that are really coming out, even
- 27:42Speaker 6: even a lot of the NFTs that are running right
- 27:44Speaker 6: now or on top of ethereum. And so that that's
- 27:46Speaker 6: what's really got me interested in I'm like, okay, you
- 27:48Speaker 6: know what, I'm going to get more aggressive personally. I'm
- 27:51Speaker 6: not I'm not making any recommendations, but I mean, there's
- 27:53Speaker 6: so many things that are now going to be running
- 27:55Speaker 6: on top of ethereum and being built off of it.
- 27:59Speaker 6: Is like, man, it only makes sense. Is really a deal?
- 28:01Speaker 6: Yeah right now?
- 28:02Speaker 4: And this is one of the things a few things
- 28:05Speaker 4: really intriguing. The reason why I really started getting into
- 28:08Speaker 4: crypto years ago is looking at so anybody, if you're
- 28:11Speaker 4: interested in crypto, you should definitely go to that website
- 28:13Speaker 4: coin market cap market cap, but yeah, somebody just put
- 28:17Speaker 4: it in the coin marketcap dot com. It's a great resource.
- 28:19Speaker 4: And when my friend shout out to Jason, he told
- 28:21Speaker 4: me about crypto. This was in twenty sixteen, and at
- 28:24Speaker 4: that time it was I forgot how much that the
- 28:27Speaker 4: market cap was, but it was like five hundred billion
- 28:30Speaker 4: or something like that. It was small, so that might
- 28:32Speaker 4: sound like a lot and even right now it's at
- 28:34Speaker 4: one point five trillion. That might sound like a lot
- 28:38Speaker 4: of money, but you have to realize Apple as a
- 28:41Speaker 4: company has a market cap of over trillion dollars, So
- 28:45Speaker 4: you have one company who almost has the market cap
- 28:49Speaker 4: of the whole entire crypto space. So that would be
- 28:52Speaker 4: like Apple being as big as the whole entire stock market.
- 28:55Speaker 4: The reason why that that's encouraging to investors people like me,
- 28:59Speaker 4: is because that goes to show you how much more
- 29:01Speaker 4: room it is to grow. It's still at its infancy stages.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Like one point five trillion dollars is a lot of money,
- 29:09Speaker 4: but that's not really a lot of money in the
- 29:10Speaker 4: world of finance. So that's something that's very interesting to me.
- 29:14Speaker 4: So when I saw that, I understood that, Okay, this
- 29:16Speaker 4: still has a lot more room to grow, because it's
- 29:21Speaker 4: not even it would be like a big company on
- 29:23Speaker 4: the stock market, like the whole thing would just be
- 29:25Speaker 4: like a big company on the stock market.
- 29:27Speaker 6: That's a great way to put it too. I never
- 29:30Speaker 6: even looked at it like that, but I mean, that's
- 29:32Speaker 6: that's that's that's a big deal, and I'm glad you.
- 29:35Speaker 6: I'm glad you put it like that, because I have
- 29:37Speaker 6: a lot of people that hit me up, and I'm
- 29:38Speaker 6: sure they talk to you guys too, but it's like
- 29:40Speaker 6: they feel like they're so late, like I'm late to
- 29:42Speaker 6: the part of I'm like, Noah, listen, guys, you're you're early.
- 29:45Speaker 6: You know, like a lot of the companies are just
- 29:47Speaker 6: now getting involved, you know, like you know, like Tesla
- 29:50Speaker 6: and I'm sure he was invested before then, but you know,
- 29:53Speaker 6: Tesla just bought it, and you know, Square bought a
- 29:55Speaker 6: few years ago.
- 29:55Speaker 7: They bought some more, you know, yesterday, and so like
- 29:58Speaker 7: it's just now starting.
- 30:00Speaker 6: And I think one of the things we have to
- 30:02Speaker 6: avoid is, you know, is feeling like we miss it
- 30:05Speaker 6: and so now we don't even dive into it, we
- 30:07Speaker 6: don't start learning yet.
- 30:08Speaker 7: I was talking to one of my friends yesterday and
- 30:11Speaker 7: she was like, I just feel.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Like I missed it with Bigcoin, I'm like, well, you know,
- 30:13Speaker 6: it's grown, right, But at the same time, you don't
- 30:17Speaker 6: have to buy a whole bitcoin, you know, you can
- 30:19Speaker 6: buy a fraction of it, like you're going, you're going
- 30:21Speaker 6: on coin base.
- 30:22Speaker 7: Some people don't even know that.
- 30:23Speaker 6: I mean's something that's simple, but it's a big deal
- 30:25Speaker 6: because you feel like, man, it's I think it's you know,
- 30:27Speaker 6: I don't even know what it is today, fifty something thousand,
- 30:29Speaker 6: I know what pull back might be in the forties.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Now I'm gonna give you the live I'm gonna give
- 30:34Speaker 2: you a live check in two seconds.
- 30:37Speaker 7: Facts I'll check myself too. But you don't have to buy.
- 30:40Speaker 6: You could you could buy a thousand dollars worth of
- 30:42Speaker 6: bitcoin and it's gonna give you that particular fraction of.
- 30:45Speaker 7: A coin, or really any other coin that's out there.
- 30:48Speaker 6: You could, you know, like let's say like a I
- 30:50Speaker 6: know a theory earlier today was like sixteen hundred. Well
- 30:53Speaker 6: you don't have to buy a coin. If you got
- 30:54Speaker 6: sixteen hundred dollars, you could buy sixty one coin. Or
- 30:57Speaker 6: you can say, hey, man, I got five hundred dollars,
- 30:59Speaker 6: let me put two fifty into you know, into bitcoin.
- 31:02Speaker 6: Let me put another two fifty into ethereum. But whatever
- 31:05Speaker 6: you want to do so you can get a fraction
- 31:07Speaker 6: of it. But guess what, that fraction still grows at
- 31:10Speaker 6: the same percentage points as if you would have bought
- 31:13Speaker 6: the whole coin based on the dollar amount that you
- 31:15Speaker 6: put in.
- 31:16Speaker 7: And so you know, that's one of those things.
- 31:17Speaker 6: That was encouraging to me too, because you know, that
- 31:20Speaker 6: allowed me, in a person, really all of us to
- 31:22Speaker 6: start where we were instead of wishing that I had,
- 31:25Speaker 6: you know, fifty thousand dollars or sixty thousand dollars or
- 31:28Speaker 6: whatever the case may be to get in some of
- 31:30Speaker 6: these coins that are a little bit on the high side.
- 31:33Speaker 6: But then you've got coins that are, you know, less
- 31:35Speaker 6: than less than a dollar and some that are just
- 31:37Speaker 6: a few dollars that you can take part into. So
- 31:40Speaker 6: it really just kind of depends on where your confidence
- 31:42Speaker 6: is when it comes to training it.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I always say that that was the original fractional shares.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I had no idea what fractional shares were before we
- 31:48Speaker 2: got into the cryptocurrency space, right because it was like,
- 31:50Speaker 2: I have one hundred dollars, I'll buy a light coin.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Bo light coin was two hundred and sixty dollars by
- 31:55Speaker 2: the time I got to it, so I got a
- 31:56Speaker 2: piece of it. And after I realized what that was,
- 31:59Speaker 2: when I started hearing about people talking about it in
- 32:01Speaker 2: the market, I'm like, oh wait, I heard about that
- 32:03Speaker 2: in the crypto space first. And I just want to
- 32:06Speaker 2: add to something you said about building on top of something.
- 32:08Speaker 2: And so this is interesting because if you look at
- 32:11Speaker 2: coin market cap right now, the number three coin is
- 32:14Speaker 2: Binance and so if you're in this space, you know
- 32:17Speaker 2: that Binance is like probably the number one exchange internationally
- 32:21Speaker 2: internationally for crypto currency. And so what they've done is brilliant, right.
- 32:27Speaker 2: They charge your fee for every time somebody purchases on
- 32:29Speaker 2: the platform. So if everybody's rushing into this space, what
- 32:34Speaker 2: happens to binance coin. I watched it go from twelve
- 32:36Speaker 2: dollars to almost three hundred I think it was three
- 32:38Speaker 2: hundred and fifteen dollars last week, just because of all
- 32:42Speaker 2: of the hysteria surrounding the space. People are trying to
- 32:44Speaker 2: get in. People are using finance as a platform. So
- 32:47Speaker 2: it would be like if I got if we were
- 32:50Speaker 2: trading in the SMP and every time that you traded
- 32:52Speaker 2: an SMP they were making money. Well they are, but
- 32:55Speaker 2: they were making money and you can invest in that.
- 32:57Speaker 2: It's very similar, a very similar thing. So when people
- 33:00Speaker 2: start looking, you got to look at the space and
- 33:02Speaker 2: treated just like how you would treat the market.
- 33:03Speaker 5: There are some very very distinct similarities.
- 33:06Speaker 4: Yeah, and the binance coin is into like Jamal. He
- 33:10Speaker 4: was talking about binance coin forever. He even trying to
- 33:13Speaker 4: get me to buy by nance coin for the last
- 33:15Speaker 4: two years. And it's crazy because, like Troy said, a
- 33:18Speaker 4: lot of times, in America, this is this is some
- 33:20Speaker 4: this is a gym right here. But a lot of
- 33:21Speaker 4: times in America we get caught up and just our country,
- 33:24Speaker 4: what's going on in our country, and finance is kind
- 33:26Speaker 4: of like dead right now in America. But the vast
- 33:30Speaker 4: majority of crypto use is outside of America. And I
- 33:33Speaker 4: learned that when I went to Asian I went to
- 33:35Speaker 4: Asia for thirty years for thirty days three years ago,
- 33:39Speaker 4: and that's what really opened my eyes to crypto too,
- 33:42Speaker 4: because you know, they was I was in Singapore and
- 33:44Speaker 4: I felt like I was thirty years in the future.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Like you know, it's good to travel and you go
- 33:49Speaker 4: to a lot of these countries and you realize how
- 33:51Speaker 4: far how far we are behind in technology and advancements,
- 33:56Speaker 4: and cryptocurrency is something that is huge in Asia and
- 34:02Speaker 4: all over, Like you know what I'm saying, It's not
- 34:04Speaker 4: just an American thing. So a lot of times we
- 34:06Speaker 4: just look at like coin coinbase is great if you
- 34:08Speaker 4: are trying to start in cryptocurrency. It's probably the easiest
- 34:13Speaker 4: platform and it's probably the safest because it's American. It's easy,
- 34:17Speaker 4: it's on your it's on your phone. You can just
- 34:19Speaker 4: go to Coinbase, get the app, and start investing. That's
- 34:22Speaker 4: real simple. That's real easy. But the reason why the
- 34:24Speaker 4: finance coin is taken off like that because they really
- 34:26Speaker 4: have the market corner outside of America and it's the
- 34:30Speaker 4: biggest platform.
- 34:31Speaker 3: So it's like investing. You know, if you if you
- 34:34Speaker 3: watch the.
- 34:34Speaker 4: NBA, and it's like if the NBA had like an
- 34:37Speaker 4: actual where you could invest in a whole league, like
- 34:39Speaker 4: the A League pass, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 34:41Speaker 4: in order to get in there, you actually have to
- 34:43Speaker 4: invest in there. So they're they're the equivalent of a
- 34:46Speaker 4: Fidelity or TD amer trade. That's how you can kind.
- 34:49Speaker 5: Of buy their bonance.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they get real tricky because when you
- 34:53Speaker 2: go on the platform, if you don't have the currency pays,
- 34:57Speaker 2: you got to trade for binance, and so that's another
- 35:00Speaker 2: level to it.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Right, Like you you.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Get your money, you trade it from Coinbase, but you
- 35:04Speaker 2: send it to Finance and then if you try to
- 35:07Speaker 2: if you don't have the right trading partner, because that's key.
- 35:09Speaker 2: If you don't have the right trading partner, you can't
- 35:11Speaker 2: make the trade. And so what they've done was say, okay, well,
- 35:13Speaker 2: if you don't have the right trading partner, you can
- 35:16Speaker 2: exchange it for binance coin, and now that becomes an
- 35:19Speaker 2: automatic trading partner for anything for bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash,
- 35:25Speaker 2: all of them. And so again you're using a platform,
- 35:27Speaker 2: but now you're also using their coin.
- 35:29Speaker 7: See how that works, Yeah, it does.
- 35:30Speaker 6: It's smart too, man, And that's I'm paying attention to,
- 35:33Speaker 6: even coin based because you know, they're trying to get
- 35:35Speaker 6: you know, in the New York Stoctum change as well.
- 35:37Speaker 7: So that'll be an interesting play as that continues to enroll.
- 35:41Speaker 5: But you know, to.
- 35:42Speaker 7: Your's point, America is really behind on the crypto game.
- 35:45Speaker 6: And I think a lot of it is because they're
- 35:47Speaker 6: trying to figure out how to regulate it, how to tax,
- 35:49Speaker 6: and how to make their money off of it.
- 35:51Speaker 7: You know. But it's I realize, you know, even with
- 35:55Speaker 7: x RP, because it's.
- 35:56Speaker 6: Going through, you know, whatever is going through with the
- 35:58Speaker 6: I think it's FTC here to see whatever one it is.
- 36:01Speaker 5: And you know, the.
- 36:03Speaker 6: Owner was basically like, hey, listen, you know, we want
- 36:06Speaker 6: to be in America, but you know, America is only
- 36:08Speaker 6: ten percent of you know, our operations.
- 36:11Speaker 7: Anyway, we just wanted to be located in America.
- 36:13Speaker 6: But if America can't figure this out, we'll just go
- 36:15Speaker 6: to another country and we'll continue to operate our business
- 36:19Speaker 6: as is.
- 36:19Speaker 7: And so it's just it's just continued to get educated.
- 36:22Speaker 6: And like you said, what I've learned is, you know,
- 36:25Speaker 6: is I can't get to emotional about one particular coin
- 36:30Speaker 6: because you know, you can get set on one like, yo,
- 36:32Speaker 6: this is the one, everybody should buy this, and then
- 36:34Speaker 6: there's other ones that are making equal moves in the market,
- 36:36Speaker 6: sometimes even bigger moves. And if you're just looking at one,
- 36:39Speaker 6: one particular one, it's really hard to uh to really
- 36:42Speaker 6: uh take take advantage of a lot of things that's
- 36:44Speaker 6: happening in the market. Another thing, and I didn't mention
- 36:48Speaker 6: this when I talked about another platform that you can
- 36:51Speaker 6: actually trade it on, is you know you can actually
- 36:53Speaker 6: trade it.
- 36:54Speaker 7: Some people don't know this on the forign exchange market.
- 36:56Speaker 6: So you can trade you know, the bitcoin versus the
- 37:00Speaker 6: US dollar and ethereum versus you know, bitcoin and other
- 37:03Speaker 6: things and that why that's useful. It is like let's
- 37:06Speaker 6: say like over the weekend bitcoin went to you know,
- 37:10Speaker 6: fifty eight thousand coin. Well, then it had a big retracement.
- 37:12Speaker 6: So what happens as a trader in the market. You
- 37:15Speaker 6: can enter you know, a point zero one lot size
- 37:18Speaker 6: or standard lot size or whatever you want to enter
- 37:20Speaker 6: on a sell it's and it's doing this pullback.
- 37:24Speaker 7: You're able to make money on that sale coming back
- 37:26Speaker 7: down until you want to get back in and buy.
- 37:29Speaker 6: And so it's been really cool is as you start
- 37:31Speaker 6: understanding the dynamics in the market, you're able to really
- 37:33Speaker 6: start making money going up and on the moves going down.
- 37:38Speaker 6: So you you open up like there's an app called
- 37:40Speaker 6: Meti Trader four. Some people use Meti Trader five. It
- 37:43Speaker 6: doesn't really matter, but you know, you get get a
- 37:46Speaker 6: four x broker that allows you to trade crypto.
- 37:50Speaker 7: There's a few out there, a kot four x. My
- 37:55Speaker 7: brain just went blank, but that's a really good one
- 37:58Speaker 7: for you don't even know if traders Way allows you
- 38:01Speaker 7: to do it anymore, but there's a few idea that
- 38:03Speaker 7: allow you to trade cryptocurrency paers. Just look it up.
- 38:06Speaker 7: You can research them.
- 38:07Speaker 6: And then and then then you're able to catch these
- 38:09Speaker 6: moves like when XRP, you know, took that hit. You know,
- 38:12Speaker 6: a lot of us injured on the sale, and we
- 38:14Speaker 6: made money on the way down. And so I've had
- 38:16Speaker 6: people that you know, started the council with a couple
- 38:18Speaker 6: hundred dollars and we're able to capitalize this weekend on
- 38:21Speaker 6: the big moves up on buys, but also on the
- 38:24Speaker 6: sales coming back down. So it's a lot of ways
- 38:26Speaker 6: for you to get in here and really trade and
- 38:28Speaker 6: capitalize on the moves that are happening.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and some people are like, hey, I try to
- 38:32Speaker 2: join binance and they won't let me. This is true, right,
- 38:35Speaker 2: if you're a new trader to the space. There are
- 38:39Speaker 2: some regulations in finance doesn't always let Americans join the platform.
- 38:43Speaker 2: And so some people are saying, Troy, well, let's get
- 38:46Speaker 2: a VPN. And so for those who are not familiar
- 38:48Speaker 2: with a VPN, a VPN is a virtual private network.
- 38:52Speaker 2: And so what that does is it allows you to
- 38:54Speaker 2: appear someplace that you're not. And so if I'm in
- 38:57Speaker 2: New York City and I want to trade on buy Finance,
- 39:00Speaker 2: but I know that Americans aren't allowed to join, I'll
- 39:03Speaker 2: get a VPN right virtual private network, and it'll ask
- 39:08Speaker 2: me where does I want to have my location ping from?
- 39:11Speaker 2: And so your location can ping from anywhere. You could
- 39:14Speaker 2: say that I'm in Rio dejan Naro and be sitting
- 39:16Speaker 2: in your house. And now when the network sees that
- 39:18Speaker 2: you're in Rio Dejannaro, you're no longer on a United
- 39:21Speaker 2: States network. Now you can join binance and so there's
- 39:25Speaker 2: so many different ways to get around it. That's why
- 39:27Speaker 2: I said, it's a lot in this space. So we're
- 39:31Speaker 2: trying to go as slow as possible. We're not telling
- 39:33Speaker 2: anybody to rush. And as far as platinum platforms, I
- 39:36Speaker 2: know Finance is probably the biggest one internationally. But as
- 39:40Speaker 2: far as ratings, E Toro just somebody eve before. I
- 39:43Speaker 2: actually did some research on Etro and it's very similar
- 39:46Speaker 2: to some of the brokerages that we use here in
- 39:49Speaker 2: the stock market. So they offer demo account training and
- 39:53Speaker 2: they allow you to pay per trade, which I had
- 39:55Speaker 2: never seen in this space, so that's something that's new.
- 39:58Speaker 2: And they have like the fifteen currencies, so I know
- 40:00Speaker 2: a lot of the platforms don't have older currencies, which
- 40:02Speaker 2: is why we try to go to our finance, which
- 40:04Speaker 2: has so many, if not most of them, where like
- 40:08Speaker 2: as a coin base, you might only get a selection
- 40:10Speaker 2: to twelve, or on Robberhood you might get like twelve,
- 40:14Speaker 2: So e Turto is a good site for that coinbase. Obviously,
- 40:17Speaker 2: these are the top five platforms. Coin Mama Gemini, which
- 40:21Speaker 2: is the Winklevoss twins who are famous for Facebook, and
- 40:26Speaker 2: now that I mean they've made millions in Facebook and
- 40:29Speaker 2: they're making probably billions in crypto space.
- 40:32Speaker 5: And then q coin. You remember q coin. Yeah, q
- 40:34Speaker 5: coin is another one.
- 40:35Speaker 2: So those are like the top five platforms. But the
- 40:38Speaker 2: most familiar ones obviously are coin based. But eturto is
- 40:41Speaker 2: a nice one because you can do pape trading and
- 40:43Speaker 2: you don't have to put your money in right away
- 40:44Speaker 2: and get familiar with the space before you do it.
- 40:47Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 40:48Speaker 6: Absolutely, I think the only thing robinhood they have it.
- 40:51Speaker 6: The only thing I don't like about it is you
- 40:52Speaker 6: don't really what. I noticed that I bought some bitcoin
- 40:55Speaker 6: in there, but you don't really own it because you
- 40:56Speaker 6: can't send it anywhere. You need to only buy or
- 40:58Speaker 6: sell it. So that's been interesting to me. I don't
- 41:00Speaker 6: know if you guys even notice that, but I you know,
- 41:02Speaker 6: most of the wallets, you buy it and you can
- 41:03Speaker 6: you have an address you can send it to in robinhood,
- 41:07Speaker 6: it doesn't seem like it allows you to do that.
- 41:08Speaker 6: I could be missing something, but when I looked, you
- 41:10Speaker 6: could either only buy or sell, which kind of take
- 41:13Speaker 6: away some of the functionality of the purpose of bitcoin.
- 41:16Speaker 3: I want to ask you about.
- 41:17Speaker 4: So one of the things that you know, I pay
- 41:20Speaker 4: attention to everything, and you know, we talking about the
- 41:22Speaker 4: stock market a lot, and the stock market is playing
- 41:25Speaker 4: a major part and legitimizing bitcoin one of the reasons
- 41:28Speaker 4: I think why bigcoin is going up. So even when
- 41:30Speaker 4: you see coin base going public, you know that's a
- 41:33Speaker 4: that's an encouraging sign, like they head to stay. They're
- 41:36Speaker 4: not and it's not just going to go away. When
- 41:38Speaker 4: you see all of these companies porn millions and billions
- 41:40Speaker 4: of dollars into a square tesla one point five billion
- 41:43Speaker 4: is a bitcoin. But now you can actually there's a
- 41:46Speaker 4: there's a bigcoin g b TC which actually trades trades
- 41:51Speaker 4: on the on the stock market, and this is something
- 41:54Speaker 4: that's interesting. So can you talk about that because some
- 41:57Speaker 4: people still are a little nervous about this nano ledger
- 42:02Speaker 4: Coint's go back to the stock so you can actually
- 42:05Speaker 4: you can actually still get exposure to bitcoin on the
- 42:07Speaker 4: stock market.
- 42:08Speaker 3: Can you talk about that?
- 42:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:09Speaker 7: Absolutely, you know that's that's the place I traded a lot.
- 42:12Speaker 6: You know, you can open up an e trade account,
- 42:14Speaker 6: a Marror trade account, and there's a there's a stock,
- 42:17Speaker 6: there's a fun It's called GBTC is the Great Scale
- 42:20Speaker 6: of Bitcoin Trust, And uh, it's really cool because a
- 42:25Speaker 6: few years ago you had to be like a what
- 42:28Speaker 6: do you call that where your networth's your incredited accredited,
- 42:33Speaker 6: you have to be an accredited investor even take part
- 42:35Speaker 6: in it. So it wasn't even really for people that
- 42:37Speaker 6: made less than the quarter million dollars a year and
- 42:39Speaker 6: had assets things of that nature. And so now they've
- 42:42Speaker 6: opened it up and so now you know, you can
- 42:44Speaker 6: take part into bitcoin because it follows it really closely
- 42:49Speaker 6: how it moves. So you know, bitcoin, let's say it said,
- 42:52Speaker 6: you know, forty nine thousand, the GBTC is probably going
- 42:55Speaker 6: to be somewhere around forty six to forty nine dollars
- 42:58Speaker 6: somewhere near. So it's going to move as the market moves.
- 43:01Speaker 6: And it's been the I believe it's Steven has split
- 43:04Speaker 6: a few times. That's why it's even so it's inexpensive
- 43:06Speaker 6: because it used to be more than that.
- 43:07Speaker 7: And so now that's another way that you can get
- 43:09Speaker 7: into the market.
- 43:10Speaker 6: And so what I do is, I like how very
- 43:12Speaker 6: much I have a GBTC, I just divide it by
- 43:14Speaker 6: you know, how much bitcoin is now.
- 43:16Speaker 7: That tells me how many coins that would be equivalent to.
- 43:18Speaker 6: And then there you don't have to really worry about
- 43:20Speaker 6: somebody stealing your wallet and you know, somebody taking your bitcoin.
- 43:24Speaker 6: They have another fun that follows Ethereum. I'm not really
- 43:27Speaker 6: a fan of it yet. It's it's it's okay, E
- 43:30Speaker 6: T a T.
- 43:31Speaker 7: But it doesn't follow it quite as good as GBTC
- 43:35Speaker 7: follows it. But what I what I do believe is
- 43:38Speaker 7: great scale. They're they're one of the best ones doing
- 43:41Speaker 7: it now.
- 43:41Speaker 6: But I think there, uh, there's gonna be other competitors
- 43:44Speaker 6: that start entering the marketplace that give us really good
- 43:46Speaker 6: moves in the market, uh, based on based on what's happening.
- 43:49Speaker 6: So that's a great place to do it. You open
- 43:52Speaker 6: an account, you fund it. How you buy it though
- 43:55Speaker 6: is different as well. You can't just do like a
- 43:58Speaker 6: market uh like like a buy like just buy at
- 44:02Speaker 6: the market price.
- 44:03Speaker 7: When you buy it, you have to place a limit order.
- 44:05Speaker 6: And so whenever you guys go in there and actually
- 44:08Speaker 6: do it, you'll go to buy GBTC and then it's
- 44:12Speaker 6: going to say like place order type and then you
- 44:15Speaker 6: got a few of them, and then just go to
- 44:16Speaker 6: limit and then to limit. It's going to give you
- 44:19Speaker 6: a price. And I believe it's the uh the big
- 44:22Speaker 6: price of asking price, whatever side is, whatever numbers.
- 44:25Speaker 4: Yeah, as justin goes out, we'll cover. I think it's
- 44:29Speaker 4: the Wi Fi that happened to us before. It's the
- 44:30Speaker 4: Wi Fi is a little shaky probably where he's at,
- 44:32Speaker 4: so it cuts it and out. But if anybody's like
- 44:35Speaker 4: I said, you watch market mondays, you know about index funds,
- 44:38Speaker 4: and that's how I kind of look at the GBTC
- 44:40Speaker 4: where it tracks Bitcoin like you know, the S and
- 44:44Speaker 4: P five hundred tracks the five hundred companies in the
- 44:47Speaker 4: S and P, and it just mirrors that. So, like
- 44:50Speaker 4: you said, you know, for some people that are still
- 44:52Speaker 4: nervous or you know, don't feel one hundred percent comfortable
- 44:56Speaker 4: with the security and no regulations and stuff like that,
- 44:59Speaker 4: that cryptocurrency, you can you know, have exposure and something
- 45:03Speaker 4: that tracks bitcoin on the stock market if you're familiar
- 45:07Speaker 4: with the stock market, if you already have a brokerage account,
- 45:10Speaker 4: and you know, as you get more comfortable with that,
- 45:13Speaker 4: then you can transition over to actually buying physical biitcoin
- 45:15Speaker 4: if you're interested in it.
- 45:16Speaker 5: Can we give them something else? Can give them something?
- 45:19Speaker 5: All right?
- 45:19Speaker 2: So I know, obviously we love indexes, but we love
- 45:22Speaker 2: what we love more, even more than indexes or ETFs.
- 45:25Speaker 2: And so I looked at ETFs because I was like,
- 45:28Speaker 2: this blockchain thing is moving and it's not going anywhere.
- 45:31Speaker 2: We say that every almost every week. And so I
- 45:34Speaker 2: did my research and I found this ETF b l
- 45:37Speaker 2: Okay block and so it is an ETF that has
- 45:41Speaker 2: a bunch of companies that are using blockchain technology micro strategy,
- 45:45Speaker 2: which is you said, there's a bunch of companies that
- 45:47Speaker 2: are buying into the space. So Michael Strategy is obviously
- 45:50Speaker 2: the number one holding Riot, which I actually had a
- 45:52Speaker 2: conversation me and Wall Street trapper. We're talking about right,
- 45:54Speaker 2: and he was trying to get into Riot, and I
- 45:56Speaker 2: was like, trap, this is ETF that has right inside
- 45:59Speaker 2: of it, and so again b l okay block and
- 46:01Speaker 2: see people are typing in. Yeah, it's an ETF that
- 46:03Speaker 2: that that tracks the foules the box chain. And so
- 46:06Speaker 2: that's another way to get into the space without having
- 46:09Speaker 2: the gold coin base that actually expose yourself and into
- 46:12Speaker 2: a singular position in the cryptocurrency space. So yeah, it's
- 46:16Speaker 2: right now, it's at fifty four dollars. It's fairly new.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I look, if you look inside the holdings, gbtc's inside
- 46:23Speaker 2: of there as well, squares inside there as well, paypals
- 46:25Speaker 2: inside of there as well. And so this is just
- 46:27Speaker 2: another option for you. Justice like, wait, Troy, you ain't
- 46:30Speaker 2: tell me about this?
- 46:31Speaker 6: Definitely, I'm like, okay, we can go the next cat call.
- 46:40Speaker 2: But yeah, it's something to definitely look into. But it's
- 46:43Speaker 2: another way to get into the.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Space without again exposing yourself to a singular position.
- 46:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so you back on, So I want to go
- 46:50Speaker 4: to some questions, but before that, what's your thoughts on
- 46:53Speaker 4: h XRP. XRP had a lot of had a lot
- 46:57Speaker 4: of bad news month ago, month and a half two
- 47:01Speaker 4: months ago, so ripple. Uh, if anybody's not familiar, x
- 47:05Speaker 4: r P is the coin. So what's your what's your
- 47:08Speaker 4: thoughts on x RP.
- 47:09Speaker 6: My thoughts, I think I think they're gonna fix it,
- 47:12Speaker 6: you know, whether they settle with the government. I think
- 47:15Speaker 6: because because x RP and ripple that they they've got
- 47:18Speaker 6: too many people that used to work even with the
- 47:21Speaker 6: entity that's suing them now, I think it'll work out
- 47:24Speaker 6: with them. I'm still holding them and you can still
- 47:26Speaker 6: buy it on some exchanges.
- 47:27Speaker 7: You just can't buy it, like on coinbase, primarily because uh,
- 47:31Speaker 7: they're they're you know, they're trying to go public on
- 47:33Speaker 7: the New York Stock Exchange. A lot of people have
- 47:35Speaker 7: kind of let them go. But the reason I feel
- 47:37Speaker 7: that it will get worked out is because crypto has
- 47:40Speaker 7: to get worked out in America, and so you know,
- 47:43Speaker 7: all of the coins are are really watching every everybody's
- 47:46Speaker 7: really watching what's happening with this case because this is
- 47:49Speaker 7: really going to set the foundation for how crypto is
- 47:52Speaker 7: established and how it's handled and a lot of the
- 47:54Speaker 7: regulations that come along with it in America. So I
- 47:57Speaker 7: think I think.
- 47:58Speaker 6: It'll be fine as soon as as soon as solved,
- 48:00Speaker 6: I believe it it'll continue to go because it was
- 48:03Speaker 6: you know, when bitcoin hit is high at you know,
- 48:06Speaker 6: nineteen thousand some changing.
- 48:08Speaker 4: I'm gonna get my personal holdings, and I want just
- 48:10Speaker 4: to give his opinion on it. This is my portfolio,
- 48:13Speaker 4: my crypto portfolio, and this is from top to bottom Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardeno, XRP,
- 48:22Speaker 4: light Coin, Stellar, Tron, and Neo.
- 48:26Speaker 5: That's say he was listening to me.
- 48:27Speaker 3: I still hold it.
- 48:30Speaker 7: I like it. I like it, Bro, I like it.
- 48:31Speaker 3: How do you feel about that? I like it.
- 48:33Speaker 7: I like all of them.
- 48:34Speaker 6: XRP is good, Cardono has been really good, one of
- 48:38Speaker 6: my buddies. Riot he had put me onto that that
- 48:40Speaker 6: one's really good. Poga dot the you know that serious,
- 48:46Speaker 6: it's real serious. Chain Link has been really good. XLM
- 48:49Speaker 6: was a really good deal man. It had went down
- 48:51Speaker 6: last year that like three cents is low, and you
- 48:53Speaker 6: know it's almost caught.
- 48:55Speaker 7: XRP is right there. They're like ten cents apart.
- 48:57Speaker 5: I think.
- 48:58Speaker 6: So, I think all of those are good holdings for
- 49:00Speaker 6: long term, and you know they're going to continue to
- 49:02Speaker 6: grow over time. And so I would say, yeah, Bro,
- 49:05Speaker 6: just continue to fund it, you know, and you to grow.
- 49:08Speaker 6: And I think that's another thing I think a lot
- 49:10Speaker 6: of people need to understand is what a lot of
- 49:13Speaker 6: the stuff. How we've been able to get a lot
- 49:14Speaker 6: is it? It's not like we just put a lot
- 49:16Speaker 6: into the market in one day. You know, typically that's
- 49:18Speaker 6: not what people do. It's just over time, you're continuing
- 49:22Speaker 6: to buy it, and so, you know, you just figure
- 49:23Speaker 6: out how much you want to invest.
- 49:25Speaker 7: And I would I wouldn't suggest like your whole.
- 49:27Speaker 6: Portfolio be crypto because it's very vulnerable and so if
- 49:31Speaker 6: you can't, if you can't take the swings that you're
- 49:33Speaker 6: gonna get with it, it can be challenging.
- 49:36Speaker 7: But yeah, I love I love those bro My My.
- 49:39Speaker 6: Personal philosophy is fifty percent of my portfolio I wanted
- 49:43Speaker 6: to be in bitcoin, and then the other fifty percent
- 49:46Speaker 6: I diversify between all coins and then if some of
- 49:49Speaker 6: those make profit, I'll move it into bitcoin because that's
- 49:52Speaker 6: that's that's brand a.
- 49:53Speaker 7: So those that's always going to be around. You know,
- 49:56Speaker 7: it's going to be safe, you know from a store
- 49:59Speaker 7: store value standpoint, is going to be really good.
- 50:01Speaker 6: But then now I'm not I'm not hanging out the
- 50:03Speaker 6: ledge with one hundred percent of my crypto. You know
- 50:07Speaker 6: on some of these art coins because as quickly as
- 50:09Speaker 6: they go up, they can go.
- 50:11Speaker 7: Down, and so you know that's you know, like we
- 50:14Speaker 7: saw it with Ripple. You know, it had hit you know,
- 50:16Speaker 7: ninety cents, and then you know, within a couple of
- 50:18Speaker 7: weeks after that it dropped down the twenty cents and
- 50:20Speaker 7: then now it's back up into the fifties. And so yeah,
- 50:22Speaker 7: I love I love those.
- 50:23Speaker 2: I love we were there once upon a time when
- 50:25Speaker 2: Ripple was three dollars and twenty four cents.
- 50:27Speaker 7: Yeah, my or you wrote it up.
- 50:30Speaker 5: We rode the XP track.
- 50:32Speaker 4: I wrote to the moon, I got my average, my average,
- 50:35Speaker 4: my average price a big coin that I purchased that
- 50:39Speaker 4: at seven thousand, so I got. I got XRP when
- 50:44Speaker 4: it was thirty cents, and we wrote it up to
- 50:46Speaker 4: three dollars and some change.
- 50:48Speaker 5: We also did some privacy coins.
- 50:50Speaker 3: So we wrote it all the way back down.
- 50:52Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're loyal.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Were loyal.
- 50:54Speaker 7: Hey, they said keep going. It was a pullback, you
- 50:57Speaker 7: know sometimes you know, you know it would what level
- 51:00Speaker 7: of a Fibanachi with that'll be like an eighty one
- 51:02Speaker 7: percent Fibonacci level. So it's poised that, hey, whenever it
- 51:07Speaker 7: goes up, it's go. It's good. Continue, it's gonna go
- 51:09Speaker 7: whenever that happens.
- 51:10Speaker 6: But I you know, like like I said, and I
- 51:12Speaker 6: think I think a lot of this stuff is going
- 51:13Speaker 6: to continue to to uh, to fill out and grow.
- 51:18Speaker 6: And I think what we got to do is really
- 51:19Speaker 6: start paying attention. You know, it's just regular people just
- 51:22Speaker 6: start paying attention to some of the bigger moves, because
- 51:24Speaker 6: like yesterday when everybody was freaking out, these companies are
- 51:27Speaker 6: going in the market and buying, you know, and it's like,
- 51:30Speaker 6: you can't, you can't, you can't, you can't be you know,
- 51:33Speaker 6: clamming up when this.
- 51:34Speaker 7: Stuff happens in the market.
- 51:35Speaker 6: Because I saw it was funny somebody posted the other day,
- 51:37Speaker 6: Oh I bet people aren't gonna post their portfolios today.
- 51:40Speaker 6: I'm like, yeah, of course. Because if you want to
- 51:41Speaker 6: have big days, you got to be able to take
- 51:43Speaker 6: the losses too. I've had days where it's like me, like, who,
- 51:46Speaker 6: you gotta check your heart. You know, it's like, man,
- 51:48Speaker 6: all right, this is this is okay. But but man,
- 51:50Speaker 6: if you can start understanding like okay, cool, it's pulling back.
- 51:54Speaker 7: You know, Bitcoin, I know, if you if you feel really.
- 51:56Speaker 6: Confident about the coin that you're investing into or the
- 51:58Speaker 6: token or whatever, and you believe had some good value
- 52:00Speaker 6: on those pullbacks. That's when I get back in and
- 52:03Speaker 6: continue to accumulate more so I can have it for
- 52:06Speaker 6: the long term. So you know, because I have friends
- 52:09Speaker 6: that bought it, you know, last year, but they didn't
- 52:11Speaker 6: continue to buy. And that's what I was saying, is like,
- 52:14Speaker 6: just make sure as you're getting these getting into crypto,
- 52:16Speaker 6: don't just buy it when time just you know, like
- 52:20Speaker 6: Rashada said, you just said your your average cost is
- 52:22Speaker 6: seven thousand, so that makes you bought some low and
- 52:24Speaker 6: then you also bought some high. But your average you
- 52:27Speaker 6: know cost is you know, seven thousand coin, which is
- 52:29Speaker 6: great based on based on where it's at.
- 52:31Speaker 2: You know, that's true, That's that's very true. Just we'd
- 52:35Speaker 2: be remiss if we didn't ask about dose coin. I mean,
- 52:37Speaker 2: it was a joke and then like the legendary doge coin,
- 52:41Speaker 2: and it was like everybody had it in their stories
- 52:44Speaker 2: and like, listen, I'm just telling you.
- 52:46Speaker 5: Don't say I didn't tell you to get it. It's
- 52:48Speaker 5: about to go to the moon. I'm like, God, well
- 52:51Speaker 5: we've been here before, y'all. Can you talk about that?
- 52:54Speaker 5: You know?
- 52:54Speaker 6: For me, I I didn't really get into it like
- 52:57Speaker 6: that I put a couple hundred dollars in it just
- 52:59Speaker 6: because it was I mean, somebody canna keep talking about it.
- 53:02Speaker 6: I'll ride a little bit. But I don't see there
- 53:05Speaker 6: when I look at what I said, you know, when
- 53:07Speaker 6: it comes to digital currency as a whole, I like
- 53:09Speaker 6: to see, like what utility doesn't serve, what problem doesn't solve.
- 53:13Speaker 7: And if it doesn't solve a problem, I don't.
- 53:15Speaker 6: I don't personally care who's talking about it. It's got
- 53:18Speaker 6: to do something otherwise I'm at a I'm I'm at
- 53:21Speaker 6: a high risk because I'm buying because somebody said bye,
- 53:24Speaker 6: but I have no idea when to get out because
- 53:25Speaker 6: I didn't I didn't look at the coin.
- 53:27Speaker 7: They didn't have any value really at this point.
- 53:29Speaker 6: I'm not saying that it can't in the future, but
- 53:31Speaker 6: as of today, for me personally, I just don't see it,
- 53:35Speaker 6: you know. But it's it's kind of like GameStop, you know,
- 53:37Speaker 6: like fundamentally their business is a little different, Like it
- 53:40Speaker 6: doesn't look like it's gonna be good, but it looked
- 53:42Speaker 6: then it goes up, you know, freaking one hundred percent today.
- 53:44Speaker 6: So you know, the market has been interesting. But for
- 53:47Speaker 6: me personally, I didn't. I didn't get into it. A
- 53:50Speaker 6: lot of my friends didn't get into it as well,
- 53:51Speaker 6: and we've been in the space for a while. But
- 53:54Speaker 6: you know, hey, for people that make money on it,
- 53:56Speaker 6: I would say, listen, get it, get it.
- 53:57Speaker 7: While you can.
- 53:58Speaker 6: But for me, personally, I looked at it just because
- 54:02Speaker 6: you know, everybody was talking about it.
- 54:04Speaker 7: But I mean, I just got to stay away because
- 54:07Speaker 7: it doesn't serve a perfectly. And you tell me some
- 54:09Speaker 7: of the starts as a joke and they haven't changed
- 54:11Speaker 7: it being a joke. I can't invest a lot of
- 54:14Speaker 7: money into it.
- 54:14Speaker 3: No, that's a fact.
- 54:15Speaker 4: We're going to open it up to questions, but before that,
- 54:17Speaker 4: before that, I want to just say, like, you know,
- 54:21Speaker 4: I believe in Etheroreum. I'm very bullish on ethereum. I
- 54:24Speaker 4: just actually purchased some ethereum a while back. And Bitcoin.
- 54:29Speaker 4: I'm really bullish on bitcoin. But still a majority of
- 54:32Speaker 4: my investments in the stock market. I would say probably
- 54:34Speaker 4: ten percent of my portfolio is in crypto. So I'm
- 54:37Speaker 4: not you know, I believe in cryptocurrency. I'm a crypto enthusiast,
- 54:41Speaker 4: but I'm not just you know, doing something just just
- 54:44Speaker 4: jumping full fled. So I say that to say, invest
- 54:47Speaker 4: whatever you feel, but that's what my personal is ten percent.
- 54:51Speaker 4: And I feel like what Gary Ve said when he
- 54:53Speaker 4: talked to us about NFTs, and he said, do one
- 54:55Speaker 4: hundred hours of research.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Do one hundred hours of research.
- 54:58Speaker 4: No matter how much information you get in the or
- 55:00Speaker 4: two alf, you gotta do one hundred hours of research.

- 57:48Speaker 9: on this podcast. Terms and conditions apply. Hiring Indeed is
- 57:52Speaker 9: all you need.
- 57:53Speaker 4: That's anything that you don't fully understand, and there's a
- 57:56Speaker 4: lot of resources, but just understand it. Like you said,
- 58:00Speaker 4: don't just invest in something because Elon Musk tweets it.
- 58:04Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, Like, that's not really an
- 58:05Speaker 4: investment strategy. You can make money, but you can get
- 58:08Speaker 4: lucky and make money. It's a difference between making money
- 58:11Speaker 4: being lucky and making money because you actually are investing
- 58:13Speaker 4: in sound fundamental so it's no different from the stock.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Market as far as that is concerned.
- 58:19Speaker 4: Just you know, be careful, know what you're investing in,
- 58:22Speaker 4: and never look at any investment as like a get
- 58:24Speaker 4: rich quick scenario because that's when you lose money. When
- 58:27Speaker 4: you just do things out of emotion, that's like gambling. Yeah,
- 58:29Speaker 4: so that's just a caution. You know, we just have
- 58:32Speaker 4: to be responsible. We have a platform which is a great,
- 58:36Speaker 4: big platform. We're thankful for that, but you know, we
- 58:39Speaker 4: just have to be responsible and just you know, we
- 58:41Speaker 4: don't want to lead people to the slaughter house. You
- 58:44Speaker 4: just want to provide information, but you have to you
- 58:46Speaker 4: got to provide it. You got to provide information responsibly.
- 58:49Speaker 4: And that's one of the good things with the Eyo University.
- 58:51Speaker 4: So after like this is ongoing and the education is
- 58:54Speaker 4: not just like one person coming and teaching you. The
- 58:57Speaker 4: education is you teaching yourself. So now we haven't nity
- 59:00Speaker 4: groups inside of Eyo University. And I believe there's a
- 59:02Speaker 4: crypto group that's starting where people are gonna yeah, it's
- 59:05Speaker 4: gonna be clubs inside of Eyo University. So now it's
- 59:08Speaker 4: a stock club, it's a it's a crypto club, it's
- 59:10Speaker 4: a real estate club, junior club, Yeah for sure. So
- 59:14Speaker 4: so yeah, so the crypto club, our crypto enthusiasts inside
- 59:18Speaker 4: of the community that's gonna get together and they're gonna
- 59:20Speaker 4: learn and they're gonna teach each other. And that's really
- 59:22Speaker 4: the best way about it is like, yeah, you know,
- 59:26Speaker 4: experts and you know YouTube and videos are good, but
- 59:30Speaker 4: the best way is peer to pit and we earn
- 59:32Speaker 4: your Leasha is a perfect example of that. Like we
- 59:35Speaker 4: literally have taught ourselves the vast majority of the stuff
- 59:38Speaker 4: that we learn, and there's power and numbers. This is
- 59:40Speaker 4: why our group chat. I forgot to mention that too.
- 59:42Speaker 4: That's also we do once a month we do group
- 59:44Speaker 4: chat calls for Eyo University. The group chat is extremely
- 59:47Speaker 4: powerful because it's like the power of five minds is
- 59:51Speaker 4: way more powerful than one mind. So if you might
- 59:54Speaker 4: know something I don't know, I might know something that
- 59:55Speaker 4: you don't know. He might know something that neither one
- 59:57Speaker 4: of us knows. So if we can come together actually
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: build on that, your learning curve grows. Yes, Yes, and
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: that's something that's extremely important. So we just want to
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: encourage people that before we go to the question answers
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: to education is not stop at one place. It's continuous
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: and it's always good to mastermind and have groups. It's
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: power and numbers, so we're going to go to questions.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: So if anybody that just joined once again, this is
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: an Eyo University class open to the public. Every the
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: last Wednesday of every month we do these classes. So
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: we do these classes every single Wednesday at eight o'clock
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: Eastern Standard time, but the last Wednesday of the month
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: is open to the public and it's just like an
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: insight to eyl University.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: And we do these classes on every.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Topic that you can think of, entrepreneurship, real estate, how
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: to read stock charts, all kinds of life, insurance, disability, insurance,
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: and it's every Wednesday and it's archives, so if you
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: miss it, you can just go on the website and
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: check it out. So this is for people that you
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: know want more interactive. It's a community. We have over
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: five thousand people on Facebook. We do group chat calls
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: where we go over our personal portfolios. I do financial
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: planning calls MG. The Mortgage Guys home Buyers Blueprint is
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: in there with over fourteen hours of real estate everything
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: you need to know about how to buy a home,
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: real estate. And then we have a movie club, we
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: have a book club, and we have a Facebook private group.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: So it's not an investment club, it's not a stock club.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: It's all around finance institution, which is geared towards people
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: that you know, want to build a community, learn and
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: just you know, want that extra push outside of the
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: all of the free information that we give on the
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: podcast and YouTube and Instagram every single day. So EUYL,
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: like I said, we open it up to the public.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: You know, you can see and at the end of
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: this we do question and answers. So that's what's different too.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: It's like it's a real class where we you know,
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: we talk and then we get you know, she's an
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: answers in this engagement.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: And yeah, we do it every single week.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: So if you're interested, I'm gonna put the link in
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: and all of that's five hundred dollars for the whole
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: entire year, So you can go to Eyo University dot
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: com right now if you're interested. We do have to
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: raise the price. As I said, we are proud that
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: we have ten employees now. Two on the Eyo University side.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Shout out to Janet. Janet was making a nice salary
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: at Fidelity, and we took over black woman from Long Island.
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: We took over that she works at Eyo University. We
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: gave her a four to one K package, We gave
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: her benefits, health insurance, and she's on and we we
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: we beat Fidelities what they was paying us. So these
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: are things that we got to start talking about. Yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: you know that. To me, that's one of the proudest moments.
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: It's like, Fidelity is a multi billion dollar corporation and
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: here we are two years in and we took one
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: of their brightest stars. And it's not like she's doing
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: us a favor, like we we matched what she was getting,
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: kept the four one K all of that, So we
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: know we handling real business. This is a real institution.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: It's not like you know, something that we just put together.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: We're extremely proud of it. And we think Eyo University.
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: We know Eyo University is gonna be the biggest just
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: like Earn Your LEAs is the biggest podcast, Eyo University
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: is gonna be the biggest online learning institution, bigger than
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: the University of Phoenix, anything that you can think of, and.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: For a penny, for a penny, of the price.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: I mean, check our check for every time we say
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: we're the biggest, the biggest.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: It's all about that's what we're doing with growing economics,
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: giving people opportunities. So yeah, so yeah, if you're interested,
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: eyouniversity dot com or put the link in, and yeah,
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: the price is going to go up on Friday. But
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: we're not just raising the price for no reason. It's
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: already five hundred dollars. But like I said, as we grow,
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: we have overhead, and but I mean it's still it's
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: five hundred dollars for the whole entire year. Like, well,
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: that's not even a junior college. You can't even go
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: to junior college for that.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: So wait, did really quickly I knew it was high
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: is a special and we're gonna have to document it's
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: a special high personally for me and and Rashot as well.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: And when we write the story, when you'll see the
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: story about it, it'll make a perfect sense. But I
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: see some people are asking about n f t s
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: a where to buy them, and so I'm gonna give
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: you two sites because they would pass on to me.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: So I'm gonnass it on to y'all.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Wearable dot com rearable dot com that is our a
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: r I B l E dot.
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: Com that is one place.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: And then nifty Getaway nifty Getaway n I f T
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Y g A T E w A y dot com. Janet,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: I will send it to you and then I guess
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: you can put it in the chat for it. So
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: those are two places that you can look and explore
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: the world of n F T S.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Yes, so yes, let's let's get some questions if we can. Yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: let's do it. Uh, just I just put it. I
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: put it in that YouTube chat if anybody's interested. But yes,
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: let's get some questions from some earnest And while we.
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: While we were getting the questions, bro, I just want
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: to say, like you said, like man, y'all, y'all, make
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: sure you invest into yourself. That's like we're talking about
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: crypto and and stocks and honest stuff, but the best
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: investment you can ever make is into yourself. So when
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: they're talking about like five hundred dollars, you only need
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: a little bit of education to get that five hundred
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: dollars back. And more, like, you get on one conversation
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: with these gentlemen, you can already tell they're smart, they're
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: intelligent and if you're what I always think about is
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: if you're getting all this knowledge and information for free,
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: imagine what you get for when you pay for it,
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: right and when you're really a part of the community.
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: Because what happens is anybody that's that's working with somebody
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: or teaching somebody, is when they see you invest into you,
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: they want to put more into you.
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: And so you know, you guys are just into in
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: for something special. So I you know, I'm not.
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: On the platform like that, but I just want to
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: say it because it's so important bro that you you
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: have to you have to invest into yourself as much
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: as you want to invest into bitcoin and et H
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: and all this other stuff. You got to get that
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: knowledge yourself so you can learn how to do this
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: and catch these moves into the market because it's not
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: going to happen. I think a lot of people they're
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: looking for somebody just tell them do this, go make
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: some money.
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: But now you got to put in the time, energy,
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: effort to learn it. But man, once you learn it,
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: you become free.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Let's go to our question. Noah, you've been upmuted. I'm
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: mute your sell what's up?
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: So what's up Hello. Yeah, yeah, he's going on. Brother.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: In regards to the hardware crypto wallets, I know you
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: guys talk about Ledger. What's your opinions on the Treasure
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: or Treasure Treasure one.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: I haven't seen the Treasure one bro to be honest
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: with you. Once I once I got this one and
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: it worked for me. I just stuck with it, like
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: I knew how to use it.
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: The Nano legend, that's the one that we got introduced to,
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: and that's the one that we used, and I think
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: I believe that's the standard. So I never try to
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: I never try to go lower than the standard, and
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: I think the nano Ledger has, you know, been the
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: standard for years now.
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: So yeah, it got too confusing because a lot of
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: these coins have their own individual wallets, and so to
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: try to remember the passwords for all of them, it
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: was just too much. So like Ethereum has its own wallet,
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Neo would have his own wilet, Bitcoin has its own
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: wild bitcoin cash may have its own wallet. Instead of
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: having seven different websites, the nano Ledger just became the
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: more simpilar five version to keep them all together in
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: one simple place. The problem is a lot of people.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: It's just like a USB, right you, If I tell
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: you to find the USB that you had three years ago,
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: it'd be.
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: Tough for you to find it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: And so a lot of people who lose the USB's,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: and so I would recommend not to treat the nano
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: ledger like a normal USB. I would get a safe
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: for it, safe positive, a safe deposit box for it,
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: because we're talking about millions, well thousands at first, but
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: then hopefully millions of dollars that could potentially be lost
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: if you lose that thing, and you don't want to.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Be that guy who lost sixty eight million.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: No, no, no, say safe depositive box.
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: Keep the numbers, keep the pass codes on it, you know,
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: keep that stuff safe, because all of that is necessary
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: if anything happens. So yeah, definitely.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Just how many questions did you have to answer on
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: that one? I know when we did, it was like
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: a series of twenty quest since that we have to
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: answer to even unlock it is?
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: It was it the same for you?
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: Ye okay, I can hear you?
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: Can you hear me?
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it was.
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: It was like twenty something questions and you gotta you know,
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: you got all these pass codes and I got them
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: in different places, so yeah, you got to go through
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: a lot for sure.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: All right, let's see what we got, Alistair, I mute yourself.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: You've been unmuted. What's going on?
- 1:08:25Speaker 10: Hey, what's going on? What's going on?
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Crypto Club?
- 1:08:29Speaker 10: Yeah, Crystal Club, Crypto Club Man.
- 1:08:31Speaker 11: Shout out to everybody joined the last meeting. You know,
- 1:08:34Speaker 11: we had a deep dive on defive and you know,
- 1:08:37Speaker 11: people got a lot of good information out of it.
- 1:08:39Speaker 11: So I'm glad and we got the next one coming
- 1:08:40Speaker 11: up March fifth. We're going to be talking about and
- 1:08:43Speaker 11: the teams. You're going to do a deep dive on
- 1:08:44Speaker 11: that one.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: But hold the way. Let let let's go into that.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: So you're the leader. I didn't even know that you're
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: the leader. You're the leader of the Crypto Club for
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: Uyle University.
- 1:08:52Speaker 10: Yeah. Yeah, I'm one of the leaders along with Daniel
- 1:08:55Speaker 10: and Meeker. So we put on the last event. So yeah,
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: we got another one coming.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: Up March fifth.
- 1:09:01Speaker 10: March fifth, that's right.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: So what's what's the next one? What's the next one on.
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: The next one is going to be on n FT,
- 1:09:07Speaker 10: So we're going to dive deep into the industry. Itself,
- 1:09:10Speaker 10: and we're going to look at some of the platforms.
- 1:09:13Speaker 10: We're going to look at Wearable, Open Sea, and the
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: top Shot. Also want to talk about how artists are
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: making money with n f t s right now, and
- 1:09:21Speaker 10: we're also going to walk through the process of how
- 1:09:23Speaker 10: to create an NFT So you check into.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: That, that's going to be strong.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: That's dope. I even know that's that's crazy.
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: We were talking about the Infinity groups and he's ahead
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: of the actual Infinity group.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: And a university is judged by the.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: People that go there, like it's not really judged by
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: the professors's judge. Like when you look at Harvard, you
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: look at the people that have went to Harvard. You
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: look at Howard University, you look at the people that
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: have went to Howard University. So university is only as
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: good as the students. So to see this is extremely
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: encouraging where it's like we have a structured program, but
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: the actual people inside of the university going above and
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: beyond and creating a community within the community. That's that's dope, brother.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: But what's your what's your question?
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: Bro?
- 1:10:02Speaker 10: Yeah, for sure, So I have a question because I'm
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: coming more from the text side. Of it. So when
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: I look at a cryptocurrency, I like to look at
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: the cold, the white paper and learn more about the
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: trading side of it. So I just wanted to ask,
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: when you're doing when you're doing trades, do you look
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: at some of the on chain metrics and like when
- 1:10:23Speaker 10: you do your trades or like some of these cryptos
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: or is it just the regular technical analysis of the charts.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I look at the technical analysis of the charts
- 1:10:34Speaker 6: a lot of the times. At the beginning, it was
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: very hard because it wasn't it wasn't a lot of data,
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: like everything was up. Now that a lot of these
- 1:10:41Speaker 6: coins have had ups and some pullbacks. You know, Bitcoin
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: is a little bit different now because it's it's really hoigh,
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: so you're going to get it.
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: It's not a lot of moves.
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: But I look at the analysis just like we like
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: I do it in regular foreign exchange as of as
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: of now, just looking at the pullbacks in the market
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: and seeing where price is being respected a certain points
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: with it. So yeah, I look at that bro and
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: then you know, on the on the four X side,
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: when I do trade it, when it breaks, those those.
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: Love are tilling about to spit a ball, they take
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: them out, We're gonna go We're gonna go back.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: You said told about a couple of things that you said.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: You said, fibonacci, what was a few technical co analysis
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: that you use even for the four x four x
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: side as well, Troy, With's some of your technical conalyceis
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: that you use.
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: I'm still using it. So I use the moving averages,
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: y'all know, I'm big on that. Obviously.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: I use the Bologian bands, and it was It's interesting
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: because when we were doing the charts with Francis two
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: weeks ago, you actually pulled bitcoin up and we and
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: we got to an and we got to see it,
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: and it's kind of funny because we were looking at
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: it like, wait, this might be a good by time.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: So the moving averages is still something that we do.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: I'm studying candles right now. I'm actually getting tutored right
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: now from Francis, and I'm learning from me in as well.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: So like every day when I tell you I'll do
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: your homework, do your homework, I'm doing my homework.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: Too because I'm trying to learn.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: So I used to just do the line graph and
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: now I'm like doing the hollow candles, and I'm doing
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: the full candles, and so I'm learning it. And now
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: it applies. Like I said, once you learn one medium,
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: it just shifts to the next. And so now I
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: can look at a bitcoin, I can go to a
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: coin market cap and look at the chart and say,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: all right, this might be a good time to get
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: in here. There's a pullback on the way. What's the
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: moving averages. So yeah, that's what I said. Once you
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: study one medium, it always trans it's transferable to the
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: next one.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: The Boloinger bands is extremely extremely If you don't learn
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: anything else from anything that we ever do, you might
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: want to you might want to look into learning boluneer
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: bands because that's something that's extremely extremely useful, not just
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: in stocks, but really anything. So yeah, the Bollinger bands
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: is extremely, extremely extremely important.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: And then that's my last thing. And it's funny that
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: they were saying this too. I use my RSI right,
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: So I just want to see the relative strength of
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: the position that I'm about to get into, whether it's
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: being overbought or over sold. And then after that, after
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: I've done all my research, I'll say all right, I'll
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: make a decision.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: Yeah, And they said the link. I fixed the link.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: I pen the link is fixed on that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: Just you back, Yeah, I think I'm back, man. I
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: just put it on my WAE.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: It's your WiFi. But it happened to us. It happened
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: to us before.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: We've been through it all.
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: Yeah, like so yeah, it's all.
- 1:13:06Speaker 10: Good, you know.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: And I just moved to so this is I'm on
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: the fourth level. So it's I think it's I think
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: I got to get like one of those.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: Was that a slight stunt? Yeah? That was the fourth levels.
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: It's true, bro, it is. It's all the fourth levels.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: I gotta get like a Wi Fi extender or something.
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: I mean, we only live in a rat style home.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Only one level.
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Man, whenever you go out, we got you. We got
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: your back, bro. But yet that's happened to us before
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: with the Wi Fi. But you know, it's it's it's
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: a live show. So issues happened. But it's all good man.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: We're gonna get information out regardless.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: Alix. Appreciate you. Everybody's asking what time on on the fifth.
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: March fifth at eight p m March fifth.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: And eight pm.
- 1:13:47Speaker 5: Appreciate that's gonna be a big one, all right. Appreciate
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: you I'm interested in.
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: Like I said, I've been up on this stuff. My
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: buddy Rob put me onto it. I actually bought some
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: stuff last night and just kind of playing around, and
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: that's why I think you got it, Like y'all gotta
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: and get into it. I actually lost some money on
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: one of the things I was buying because I didn't
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: know about the fees right, So like it was like
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: the cost of one of the NFTs that I was
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: one of the things I was buying, but the fees
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: was more.
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: It was almost like the whole cost of what I
- 1:14:16Speaker 7: was buying. So I'm glad I did like a couple
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: hundred dollars with it.
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: So that's why it's like it's really important to study
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: this stuff, get into it, like you said, the one
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: hundred hours really studying and uh and then jumping in
- 1:14:27Speaker 6: and getting into it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: So yeah, those gas I see somebody putting the chat
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: those gas fees, and so it's really it determines how
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: long it takes for the transaction that happened. So we
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: were in that that the space when you bought bitcoin,
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: you sent money and two hours later you're wondering.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: Did it go through? Did it go through? Did it
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: go through, like four hours later, did it go through?
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: Did it go through?
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: But that's how and that was one of the things
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: when I was looking into bitcoin. I'm like, this is
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: a great and it's the number one coin. It probably
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: always stay that way, but from a functionality standpoint, there's
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: going to be something that's going to better because everybody
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: gets to see the predecessor and now say I'm going
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: to improve on it. And so then that's where you
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: come up with them in narrow It's like, all right, hey,
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: they don't have the best privacy, let's create this coin,
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: or their transaction speed is very slow. Let's find a
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: way to improve it. And so that that comes with
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: being the leader in the space. People get to see
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: the mistakes and say I'm gonna improve on it.
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: Yeah, And that's really why I like ruble Man because
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: it's like, man, fees are really small money sent really quick.
- 1:15:26Speaker 6: So you know, I'm hoping they get it figured out
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: because what it serves and is really is really brilliant
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: when they put together. So hopefully they get it figured out.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna go to that class on March fifth because
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: I want to learn about NFTs myself. So I'm gonna
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: I'm gonna be a student in there.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: All right, I'm gonna try this one. Uh is that
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: Martelli mart Thello? You've been unmuted. I mute yourself.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: If I said it wrong, I apologize and events Oh, tia, tia,
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: what's up? You've been unmuted? I am great. I had
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: you unmuted first. But okay, let's go there.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: It's about congratulations.
- 1:16:00Speaker 10: You so deserve it.
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: I love seeing the number one spot.
- 1:16:03Speaker 10: It's just so well deserved.
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: Everybody.
- 1:16:08Speaker 7: Yes, So my question is real quick.
- 1:16:10Speaker 12: That's between seventeen partner, my little toddler. There's a thing
- 1:16:15Speaker 12: about mining bit coin. It was a big deal in
- 1:16:19Speaker 12: all this equipment and things of that nature. Is that
- 1:16:22Speaker 12: still profitable? Does it even work? And have you ever
- 1:16:26Speaker 12: tried it? That's my question?
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: All good questions. That's you want to start.
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: Yeah, all good questions.
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: So mining is cool because you know it was a
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: way for you to get coin without actually spending money
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: for it, Like you just get the equipment and you
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: know then they.
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: Have things that you could buy to have somebody minded
- 1:16:43Speaker 7: for you.
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: The thing is like it's really expensive, like really expensive
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: at this point, and the electricity needed to run it
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: is like the fees and stuff associated.
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: So is it still a thing? Yes, definitely still a thing,
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: I think.
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: I think for me personally, I'm kind of I'm more
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: interested into what we were talking about before, where you're
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: getting steaking. Steaking is so much easier because I just
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: got to find a coin that has a good percentage
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: rate on steaking, let it sit there, and I just
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: get it's really the same concept, except for I'm not
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: having to pay.
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: All of these extra fees and stuff like that.
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: So you find a coin that has good steaking or
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: wallet that allows you to steak that coin in there,
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: and then you can still earn that particular coin, right,
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: And then a lot of these a lot of these wilets,
- 1:17:29Speaker 6: you can actually still convert it to other currencies. So
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: in my opinion, that would probably be a better alternative
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: nowadays I'm versus just mining.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, So we never tried to mine the coin, although
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: we're very familiar with it because of what Justice just said,
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: the amount of electricity that would take. You could actually
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: give electricity to a small town.
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: And we actually mess somebody a few weeks ago that
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: has a mining facility, and.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: That was another part it takes certain climates for you
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: to even do it, and so only do you have
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: to buy the computers to mine it, but you also
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: have to have cooling conditions, like huge, huge air conditioners
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: to keep the facility cool because the computers have to say,
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: at a certain temperature. And so we saw a lot
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: of people creating minds in northern China where it's cold Canada,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: so some of these places were having those type of
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: situations because the climate permitted for them to have.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: Those type of facilities. But we did.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: We did meet somebody and he said that he's doing
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: it in the south and that was yeah, lot.
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: But he's because the electricity is cheaper and the land
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: is cheaper, So he's just the money. He's just he
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: has a cooling system.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:18:44Speaker 12: They haven't came a cloud way of doing it yet,
- 1:18:48Speaker 12: just like, is that the whole reason why we got
- 1:18:50Speaker 12: rid of service?
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: I don't know, easy though. I don't think they're trying
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: to make it everybody can just get it for free,
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: of course not no, but if they make it like a.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: Cloud, wow, yeah.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: And the thing about about mining the coins is that
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: we didn't we didn't get into it, but the circulating
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: supply bitcoin won't exist.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: I think it's a twenty forty three.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I think that's the last about the estimated time that
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: the last coin will be mine. So people are trying
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: to mine it so they can have a coins because
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: after that time they won't exist and they won't be produced.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Just as far as new one new ones, there won't
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: be any new ones circulating. So when you see circulating coins,
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: if it says eighteen million, and you check how many
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: have been.
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: Circulated or made already.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Then you know how much time you have until it's
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: a infinity amount of coins that can be created.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not. It's not unlimited resource. Yeah, so it's
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: another interesting thing which makes it right, wh which makes
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: it more value? Exactly exactly all right?
- 1:19:49Speaker 5: I think I have no problem? So you thank you?
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: Is it? Martelli? I hope I got it right? Martelli?
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: You are unmuted on mute yourself? What's going on?
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:19:59Speaker 8: It's good, fam, Everything is good that I get it right,
- 1:20:02Speaker 8: Bess plus plus best. You know Brooklyn always up and here,
- 1:20:04Speaker 8: always got show left my Brooklyn people, Brooklyn.
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: We did, We did, yes, sir, my man, my mother
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: got behind us.
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: You remember I took my shot at Janet, Right quick, well.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: You're doing my financial planning class.
- 1:20:17Speaker 8: There you go, There you go, daddy, I'm trying to
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: be a regular on the sure what now? But right quick,
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: I know you guys got a lot of people who have questions,
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: So I just want to ask you, uh, you mentioned
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: earlier how what you're really looking at is what problem
- 1:20:31Speaker 8: those coins are solving? What do you mean how?
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: What?
- 1:20:34Speaker 8: What kind of problems are we talking about? Like how's
- 1:20:36Speaker 8: the coin solving any as any problem?
- 1:20:39Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: I mean that you're referring to before you pick which
- 1:20:42Speaker 8: one you're going to.
- 1:20:42Speaker 7: Deal with, yeah, or like what utility is served?
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: Like so for instance, like x RP is the one
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: that I've been like looking at for a while, right,
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: And so it was it was the ability to.
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: Really to be a send money internationally.
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: So like you I don't know remember back in the day,
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: like you go to like Western Union money, Grahams Money,
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: you know, overseas, right, and the fees were really expensive
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: to do that, like to be a send money overseas
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: or the people and they're like, okay, well now we've
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: got something on the blockchain that allows us to be
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: able to send these feeds and save companies money on
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: processing fees, right, but also sending money like you can
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: send I forget it when somebody that sent like a
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: few million dollars across the country or across the world
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: in a matter of like one point something second. So
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: it allowed and I'm like, okay man, for me, that
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: makes sense because money companies are always processing money.
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: They're trying to find ways.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: To save money on those feeds and so they can
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: get some of those feeds back, and then the companies
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: that that's offering it, it's it's that allows that that
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: makes more sense to me and how they've been built
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: out than a company that's just a mean coin. And
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: I'm not making fun of that because that's literally what
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: it was. But so I'm looking at like, all right,
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: what does this actually do? You look at ethereum and
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: it's not just the ethereum, but now you have other
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: projects that are being built on top of it. It's like, okay,
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: well man, that that's definitely a good coin. But now
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: you look at one of them like Bardonald that's that's
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: growing pretty good. That's on top of it. So you
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: now you start looking at what are okay man, what
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: are all of these things doing.
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's something that yeah, they always cut them out.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: The best part, yeah, the use case, like what's the
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: use case for it? And like you said, you know,
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: the XRP is a perfect example of that, and that's
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: why a lot of the financial institutions had back to
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: XRP because it solves a problem.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Any business, you have to solve a problem.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: And you know, transferring money is still to this day,
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: really a problem. It still hasn't really been fully solved.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: You know, the transfer We talked about it before. The
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: quickest way to get a million dollars from New York
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: to London is to get on a plane with it.
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: And that's not that's not really that's kind of crazy
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: if you really think about it. In twenty twenty one.
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: So you know, with the blockchain and you're able to
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: move this in a matter of seconds, and XRP is
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: the coin of choice when it comes to the financial world.
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: It was a lot of people, you know, have problems
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: with that because they felt like, you know, it sold
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: out and it wasn't really a real cryptocurrency because it
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: was centralized, it wasn't decentralized. But that's another situation altogether.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: But you know, it solves a problem. Long story short,
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: it solves a problem. So that's what he was saying.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: Like there's some coins where it's just they don't solve
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: any problem at all. It's just like just make a coin,
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: Like I could just make you know, the shoddy coin
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: and just have a coin. But it's like, what's the
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: point of it? What is it being used for? It
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: has no use case.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: So there's another coin too that we were looking at
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: at the time, and when you said what's the purpose
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: of it, there was this coin call Medicin, and it
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: was the purpose of it was to keep all medical
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: transactions on a blockchain.
- 1:23:42Speaker 5: So imagine that if you went.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: To a hospital in New York City and you had
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: to be traveling and something happened to you and you
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: were in another country, right, how long would it take
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: for them to get your medical records to you to
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: find out what you need and what they can't use.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: Whereas you had a blockchain where that record was always kept,
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: it would be there instantaneously. So those are we're trying
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: to talk about for use cases like that has a
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: use you understand what I'm saying, as opposed to somebody
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: looking at a cartoon wolf.
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: That's so when Mark Cuban was on with you guys,
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: he stated that he sees Ethereum as like the leader
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: going forward. Do you think that at any point it
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: can actually take over Bitcoin slot?
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: Can it take over you.
- 1:24:26Speaker 7: Talking about like price point?
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: I don't know if anybody because you know, I don't
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: know who knows. But Bitcoin is more of like a
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: place where people store. Like bitcoin is not something a
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: lot of people really use, you know.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: It's like I want to put it's an alternative for
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: our generation to like go like I'm not gonna put
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: I'm not looking today. Hey where can I buy some gold?
- 1:24:44Speaker 7: Oh no, it's not a bad thing to buy, right,
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: I've got some jurry and stuff like that.
- 1:24:48Speaker 6: But it's more of like it's where people store their
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: money now Ethereum. I do believe like they're saying that
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: Itchy go to ten thousand, you know, but just the
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: same way that you know, JP Morgan and Chase is
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: saying that Bitcoin can go to one hundred and.
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: Thirty thousand, like we don't, you know, how do we know?
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: I do believe that it definitely is a solid investment
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: now because of so many things that are being built
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: on top of it that are now becoming.
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: Big things as well. And so because like what's happening
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: with NFTs and stuff like this and some of the
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: other things that are being built on top of it,
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: they needed theoeum to work, and so they needed theoeum
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: to work. You know that you got to invest into
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: the foundation of it. Well, now everything that's us on
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: top of it, that's you're it's kind of like you
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: can double dip. So I definitely think that's if I
- 1:25:34Speaker 6: was new.
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: To crypto and and I'm getting into it, that would
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: be when I would really look into ethereum because of
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: what's going to be happening, and it's still really a
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: good price. It's not too bad right now, you know,
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: sixteen hundred dollars two thousand.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: I think it broke an all time high over the
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: weekend as well, and it pulled back.
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: So this is a great time to get back into it.
- 1:25:53Speaker 8: And congratulations Troy, Congratulations with Sean Farrell, you guys are
- 1:25:57Speaker 8: doing big things. Gott's a limit should fellas appreciate you.
- 1:26:01Speaker 8: That's one of the reason why I really like Ethereum.
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: That's kind of like one of my thesis of investing period,
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: I like to look at something where if it falls apart,
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: the whole space is in trouble.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: So I look at like Apple, if Apple.
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: Falls apart overnight, a lot of a lot of things
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: in trouble, The whole the whole tech space is in trouble.
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: I feel like Ethereum is in the same Like if
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: Ethereum falls apart, even more so than Bitcoin, bitcoins psychologically,
- 1:26:30Speaker 4: you know, would have a major obviously, it would cripple
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: the crypto space. But Ethereum from a from a youth standpoint,
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: this there's hundreds of coins probably even maybe a thousand
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: coins that actually run on Ethereum platform. So if Etherium
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: falls apart, that's gonna cripple the crypto space. So I
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: look at it like, all right, nothing is ever guaranteed,
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: but you know, we try to mitigate as much risk
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: as possible. And having something that is so vital to
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: the industry in my in my opinion, obviously, you know,
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: everybody has their own opinion, but in my opinion, it
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: makes it a lot more comfortable for me to invest
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: in because I'm not just investing in Theoryum, I'm investing
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: in the whole platform that Ethereum has under their you know, umbrellas.
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: So that's something to think about when you're looking at crypto.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: And we said this about a month ago, when I
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: think Bitcoin was headed towards thirty thousand, I was like, hey,
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: look that's great, but based on a percentage, Ethereum is
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: actually moving at.
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: A higher rate.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: And so while people we were watching it, we were
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: watching it, Bitcoin hit twenty thousand, hit thirty thousand, Ethereum
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: is moving right along with it, and like you said,
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: it's at a more affordable price, and it's it's usage
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: obviously is undeniable. Like we said, things are built on
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: top of it. That's why the platform I think is sustainable.
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: I don't know if it'll ever.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: Pass Bitcoin, but just because of the dominance of Bitcoin,
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: it's like, was it sixty two percent of the space.
- 1:27:50Speaker 5: We haven't.
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: We haven't had companies start investing in billions of dollars
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: into Ethereum yet, you know, but you know, if that
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: day comes, that'll be great as well.
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: Got something to think about too, as far as the
- 1:28:00Speaker 4: coin dominance. Sixty two percent of the market cap, so
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: once again, that would be like if Tesla was sixty
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: two percent of the Stock exchange like of NASDAC New
- 1:28:09Speaker 4: Stock Exchange. Like if one company made up sixty two
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: percent of the entire stock market. Just think about that.
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: That's kind of crazy. So that, you know, also to
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: going back to bitcoin, that gets you know, me a
- 1:28:21Speaker 4: lot of confidence in bitcoin. Not only am I confident
- 1:28:24Speaker 4: about bitcoin because you see all these institutional money paling
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: in and you see it just getting you know, reinforced daily,
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: but being that it has so much dominance in the space.
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: It's like it's sixty two percent of cryptocurrency. It's in bitcoin.
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: I mean, if Bitcoin falls, everything falls.
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: Yeah. So somebody just asked a really good question.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: They said, so bitcoin has a max supply, Yeah, that
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: max applies twenty to twenty one million. Ethereum doesn't have
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: a max apply right now. It's circular and supplies one
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: hundred and fourteen million. But you could understand why wouldn't
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: have it max applies because there's more coins coming into
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: the space and they have to build on top of
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: them using Ethereum tokens. So that's why it probably doesn't
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: have a max supply. Good question, that was a great question.
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, like the US dollars, they can't keep
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: printing more, you know, like if they run out, they
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: don't just make more bigcoins.
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: That is what it is. So I think a lot
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: of people are trusting it for for a lot of reasons. Man,
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: the crypto space is really, really, really strong man for
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: a lot of reasons.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: And you got to have a strong stomach. Crypto it
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: pulls back, it's part of it, like you know what
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: I mean, Like even recently it had a pullback. But
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: in the stock world, we see those pullbacks and we'd
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: be like panicking, Like twenty percent, that's that's a huge
- 1:29:36Speaker 4: ten percents of correction in the stock market. So something
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: something drops twenty percent, it's like this is going this
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: is going crazy. But in crypto that's just the regular Tuesday.
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: So we saw sixty percent, seventy percent pullbacks and bitcoin
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: Bitcoin was at twenty thousand, and in March it was
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: at three thousand, and now it's at fifty thousands. So
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: it's like, you know, you just have to and this
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: is why you don't want to put all your money
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: in something like you know, it's extremely volid. It goes
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: up and down. But just keep that in mind too.
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: It's like it's a long term, long term perspective, no
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: different than stocks. You gotta think long term with this
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: and just have the stomach for it because there's a
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: possibility to put money in and it's going it's going.
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: To roller coaster.
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: When people buy, you know, like anything else, they take profit,
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: and so I think it's some people also have to
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: understand what's happening when you're seeing some of this stuff too.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: It's like, you know, when it goes up to fifty
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: eight thousand, if I've been in for a while, I'm
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: probably gonna take a little bit of profit, or people
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: exchange them for other currencies, and that's when you start
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: seeing these off coins start rising because people are like, cool,
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: let me move some of this money over here, because
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: now I can put it in you know, something like
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: Bardono or some of these other coin and it can
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: go up twenty or thirty percent really quick in the day,
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: and then I can take that out put it back
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: in Bitcoin. And so it's just understanding what's happening in
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: the market and recognizing those. More so, it's buying opportunities,
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: especially with something like bitcoin that is really solid, Like
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: now you've got.
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: Corporations putting billions of dollars into it.
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: You know, even even companies like like gray Scale, like GBTC,
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: they they just bought another three.
- 1:31:06Speaker 7: Hundred million dollars worth of bitcoin.
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: And so when you see people doing this and dumping
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: a lot of money into it, it's like, all right,
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: cooler man, I think I can afford to put a
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: few thousand dollars into it and let it sit because
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: they're not putting hundreds of millions of dollars into it
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: to take it out like tomorrow.
- 1:31:20Speaker 7: This is like an entire fund, so they're here for
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: the long term as well.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: Somebody asks about bitcoin and Ethereum in the futures market.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: I believe last week actually I was sitting with Ian
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: what I told him about this. I think Ethereum started
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: trading the futures market.
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: Theeum start trading the future market. That's interesting, It's gonna
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: be interesting. Let's get Let's get like one or two
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: more questions before we wrap, if we can.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Let's go to Dorothy. Dorothy, were coming to you. Mute yourself,
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: you've been unmuted. What's going on?
- 1:31:50Speaker 13: Good evening, gentlemen, Thank you so much. This has been
- 1:31:54Speaker 13: mind blowing. I want to ask you. You said block
- 1:31:58Speaker 13: I'm new to. This is investing in block the same
- 1:32:02Speaker 13: thing as what I would be doing if I invest
- 1:32:05Speaker 13: with Acorn, So like I give them some money and
- 1:32:07Speaker 13: they spread it across a couple of different places.
- 1:32:11Speaker 7: Is that what block is?
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: Like?
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: No blocks of ETF, blockers the ETF and so it's
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: kind of like how we we've explained ETF, So like
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: an all star team of stocks one and so you
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: don't have to go individually buy a Riot or a MicroStrategy.
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: You can buy the ETF, bo B, l OK and
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: you'll have you'll have exposure to all of those, just
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: at a smaller rate, which leaves.
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: You a little bit more room. Right, if you invest
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: in micro.
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: Strategy and it has a terrible day, obviously your portfolio
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: is going to take a hit. Whereas if you have
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: b a l ok or block which mirrors a blockchain technology,
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: you have more leeway here because if Michael Strategy has
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: a bad day, Riot might might have a bad day.
- 1:32:54Speaker 5: So it's just to protect you.
- 1:32:57Speaker 7: Okay, gotcha, perfect? Thank you O pro.
- 1:33:03Speaker 5: All right, we got let's go see your name. We
- 1:33:06Speaker 5: haven't seen Liz. We're coming to you, Liz. I mute yourself.
- 1:33:11Speaker 5: You've been unmuted. What's going on?
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: Oh fridge break old?
- 1:33:22Speaker 7: Can you hear me now?
- 1:33:24Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, thanks for running back from the fridge.
- 1:33:25Speaker 5: We appreciate that.
- 1:33:27Speaker 14: No, I'm sorry, I hear I'm mute, but then it's
- 1:33:29Speaker 14: like a delay.
- 1:33:31Speaker 7: We hand them o people.
- 1:33:32Speaker 14: Thank you so very much. I am so excited to
- 1:33:34Speaker 14: finally get to speak to you guys. Congratulations number one
- 1:33:38Speaker 14: Covid Thriver. Here I went under. You guys were twenty
- 1:33:41Speaker 14: three thousand. I came to and you're at over three
- 1:33:44Speaker 14: hundred thousand. I couldn't be more excited. Really love you guys.
- 1:33:47Speaker 14: My best thirty years is on here. I feel like
- 1:33:50Speaker 14: Harriet Tubman. I'm telling the whole world about you guys.
- 1:33:54Speaker 14: Oh I think I really I absolutely love you guys.
- 1:33:57Speaker 14: So I will be thank you Alistair brother. I will
- 1:34:00Speaker 14: be there on March fifth at eight o'clock. Really trying
- 1:34:03Speaker 14: to learn the crypto space, but my question is more
- 1:34:07Speaker 14: so around blockchain. I'm hoping you guys can kind of
- 1:34:10Speaker 14: help me. I've been trying to do some research around this,
- 1:34:13Speaker 14: and to Rashad's earlier point about you know, it's all
- 1:34:17Speaker 14: about group economics, I really feel like there's a potential
- 1:34:20Speaker 14: here with this technology to really kind of propel what
- 1:34:25Speaker 14: it is we're trying to do in terms of wealth creation,
- 1:34:27Speaker 14: right as a group and as a community. So I'm
- 1:34:30Speaker 14: trying to figure out can you guys speak to a
- 1:34:32Speaker 14: little bit about how it is that it's possible through
- 1:34:38Speaker 14: blockchain that you have some communities, for instance in Africa
- 1:34:41Speaker 14: and other developing nations that are using it to disintermediate banks, right,
- 1:34:47Speaker 14: or insurance companies or you know, I've been reading about
- 1:34:50Speaker 14: smart contracts, but I serve about four thousand young men
- 1:34:53Speaker 14: of color, black and Latino, New York, and I'm trying
- 1:34:55Speaker 14: to And I was on a webinar earlier with Portland
- 1:34:58Speaker 14: State University.
- 1:34:59Speaker 7: They're teaching block chain there.
- 1:35:02Speaker 14: Through with some sponsorship from Intel and Nike, right. So
- 1:35:05Speaker 14: I'm just trying to figure out, can you guys speak
- 1:35:07Speaker 14: a little bit just like, like I'm a sixth grader,
- 1:35:10Speaker 14: I'm Troy. What is it about blockchain that is so
- 1:35:15Speaker 14: revolutionary by way of like through you know, through these
- 1:35:20Speaker 14: coins of currencies that you're able to kind of like
- 1:35:24Speaker 14: build wealth. I'm not getting it, Like I understand the
- 1:35:26Speaker 14: susu notion from a culture perspective, but I don't. I
- 1:35:29Speaker 14: don't know how that translates to this. So trying to
- 1:35:32Speaker 14: think about bottom up social impact solutions and how that
- 1:35:35Speaker 14: correlates with with blockchain, that's my question.
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: Thank you, Okay, Yeah, I let everybody else speak on it.
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: I don't necessarily think I mean as far as building wealth.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: But it's interesting. I'm not sure if that's the best
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: phrase for it, because blockchain has been around for a while.
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: It's not.
- 1:35:50Speaker 4: It's actually not even new. Companies have been using it
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: for for a long time. Uh, But what it does
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: do and is like speaking about Africa is actually interesting
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: that you say that, because sixty Minutes had an interesting
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: segment a while back with they was in Kenya and
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: you know, we talked about like shout out to Greenwood
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: Bank and shout out to killing Mike when we talked about,
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: you know, the unbanked. So there's there's a large population
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: in America people that are unbanked, and it's even larger
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: on the continent of Africa, especially in rural places like Kenya,
- 1:36:20Speaker 4: where it's like, you know, if you live in a
- 1:36:22Speaker 4: rural area, you're nearest bank might be one hundred miles away,
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: and that's not really you know, living in New York,
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: we kind of get spoiled where it's banks on every
- 1:36:30Speaker 4: single corner, but you might not.
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: Have a bank.
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: So we're really revolutionized the whole country is that they
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: have the cell phones, which is like really cheap cell phones,
- 1:36:40Speaker 4: like they're like the flip phones. But being that now,
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: like you know, the vast majority of the population is
- 1:36:46Speaker 4: actually banked through the cell phone. So even though they
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: can't make it through a brick and mortar actual location,
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: not actually able to send money through the cell phone.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: And you know, and that's a big thing because it's like,
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: all right, you might have a farm, you might need
- 1:36:58Speaker 4: to send money to a family number five hundred miles away,
- 1:37:02Speaker 4: and you know, previously it was almost impossible because they
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: didn't have access to banking institutions. So now when you
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: have you know, banks like Greenwood Bank, who is strictly
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: online bank, and that's one of their you know, things
- 1:37:15Speaker 4: that they're actually promoting is that you know, they are
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: going to give banking opportunities to people that have been
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: left out of the traditional banking system, and that will
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: only empower, you know, as far as the economic systems,
- 1:37:28Speaker 4: because now you have access to two things that you
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: might not necessarily have access to. But the blockchain technology
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: is so interesting. And I'm not an expert on blockchain,
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: but you know, I've done some research on it. But
- 1:37:39Speaker 4: there's so many different things that blockchain can be used for. So,
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: like when Troy talked about blockchain in a medical world,
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: you know one company that we're familiar.
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: With, teledoc. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: Teledoc is a huge We talked about teledoc on market
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: one day, which is revolutionary, which is revolutionizing the world
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: of medicine. So you look at banking like an XRP,
- 1:37:57Speaker 4: which is has the potential to revolutionized financial the financial space.
- 1:38:03Speaker 4: So blockchain technology is something that can actually it's actually
- 1:38:07Speaker 4: already in use and it's going to be here. Whether
- 1:38:10Speaker 4: cryptocurrency cannot live without blockchain, but blockchain can live without cryptocurrency.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: So a real quick fact, and it was actually on
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: TNBC today. Out of the thirty two leading banks in
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: the United States, eight of them already use.
- 1:38:23Speaker 5: Bloch blockchain technology.
- 1:38:25Speaker 2: So that's just a fun like something interesting to know, right,
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: Eight out of the thirty two largest banks already use
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: the technology, and so we're going to see some more
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: money pouring in, but on a sixth grade level to
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: explain blockchain, it's a digital record of a transaction for
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: an asset.
- 1:38:42Speaker 5: It's a digital record.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: And so, like I said, in the medical space, that's
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: a prime example, and I'm glad try reiterated it because
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: think about those scenarios. How fast could you get your
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: medical records from one place to another in a matter
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: of seconds where it might be today's age is that
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: I have to fax it over or we're waiting for
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: the email to come through.
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: This could happenaniously. In fact, remember we had the NBA
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: the chips.
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, they had the chips.
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: That was a form of the blockchain technology where it
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: was like there was a chip that you would carry
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: with you and would have all your things related to yourself,
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: your home address, all inside of a ledger.
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: So when somebody met, if you had an accent.
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: Or anything like that, we just scan it and we
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: already know everything you're allergic to, any past medical history.
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: So it's so much that you can do.
- 1:39:25Speaker 3: And I'm a huge watch of sixty minutes. I really
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: liked that show a lot.
- 1:39:29Speaker 4: Here and you know, in the art world, if anybody's
- 1:39:32Speaker 4: familiar arts, a billion dollar industry, and the counterfeit art
- 1:39:37Speaker 4: world is going crazy right now.
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: Counterfeit art world.
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: Is almost a billion dollar industry, like and there's been
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: several like huge, huge, huge, hundred million dollar paintings that
- 1:39:46Speaker 4: have been forged and they really couldn't find out until
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: years later.
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: And it's a big thing.
- 1:39:52Speaker 4: And it costs in the art world's millions of dollars
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: a year. So now if you look at you know,
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: it's being an artist. This is something that is crippling
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: art world cause it's like I can create a painting
- 1:40:02Speaker 4: and then somebody duplicates it and we don't know which
- 1:40:05Speaker 4: one is the real one. So now with the and
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: this is why, like when Mark Cuban and these guys
- 1:40:09Speaker 4: are so interested in the NFTs and you should definitely
- 1:40:13Speaker 4: check that class out next on the March fifth, is
- 1:40:16Speaker 4: because if I'm an artist, now there's no second guessing.
- 1:40:19Speaker 4: I don't have to prove, I don't have to put
- 1:40:21Speaker 4: my it's a digital record that this is the only
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: one of this kind. So if I make a if
- 1:40:26Speaker 4: I make a portrait of myself on a blockchain, and
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: it's digital art, it's a one on one, literally, a
- 1:40:33Speaker 4: one on one, and you can prove it. So it's
- 1:40:35Speaker 4: like having a social Security number. Like, so that's a
- 1:40:38Speaker 4: game change in the art world. So I mean this
- 1:40:40Speaker 4: is we can keep going on and on. It's so
- 1:40:41Speaker 4: many things that you know, the blockchain technology will change
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: and crypto is just one of it. It's just one
- 1:40:49Speaker 4: aspect of blockchain uses the blockchain. But blockchain is already
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: being used and it will be here with or without cryptocurrency.
- 1:40:58Speaker 4: And like I said, from the art world to the
- 1:41:01Speaker 4: medical world, to the finance world to education, I feel
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: like everything will be eventually completely changed by technology, and
- 1:41:10Speaker 4: blockchain technology is one of the leading factors in the
- 1:41:13Speaker 4: new age of technology.
- 1:41:15Speaker 6: No me, it's almost like the Internet, you know, like
- 1:41:18Speaker 6: the Internet came out years ago, right, but what purpose,
- 1:41:22Speaker 6: like would it served then?
- 1:41:23Speaker 7: What it serves now?
- 1:41:26Speaker 14: Yeah, But gentlemen, So I appreciate the commentary. I think
- 1:41:35Speaker 14: what's been happening is as a result of the wild
- 1:41:38Speaker 14: and obviously all the great content because obviously I did
- 1:41:40Speaker 14: see that episode the Mark Cuban.
- 1:41:43Speaker 7: I'm sorry you back justin I'm bad. You know, I'm
- 1:41:46Speaker 7: gonna stop talking. I can't I can't aead.
- 1:41:55Speaker 14: Okay anyway, So I don't want to take too much time.
- 1:41:57Speaker 14: I just wanted the last thing, the last point. I
- 1:41:59Speaker 14: wanted to make it a just responsible what was covered
- 1:42:01Speaker 14: is what I'm starting to see is I'm trying to
- 1:42:04Speaker 14: starting to connect dots.
- 1:42:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:42:05Speaker 14: I think Rashad you've mentioned in previous episodes as it
- 1:42:09Speaker 14: relates to bitcoin, at one point, JP Morgan, Chase Right,
- 1:42:12Speaker 14: and Jamie Diamond, we're, you know, for lack of a
- 1:42:18Speaker 14: better term, we're pooh pooing right the whole bitcoin thing.
- 1:42:21Speaker 14: And and now all of a sudden, on the back end, right,
- 1:42:23Speaker 14: they have all of the institutional investors, right, they're letting
- 1:42:27Speaker 14: the institutional investors right transact right in their JP Morgan
- 1:42:32Speaker 14: coin as an example, right. And so I'm just for me, yes,
- 1:42:37Speaker 14: it seems like that's where the world is headed. But
- 1:42:40Speaker 14: it also seems like it's an it's an opportunity to
- 1:42:44Speaker 14: to counteract the hypocrisy of a lot of these institutions
- 1:42:48Speaker 14: that have traditionally kept our communities where they are, right.
- 1:42:52Speaker 14: And so I'm just I'm connecting dots, and I appreciate
- 1:42:56Speaker 14: you all listening. I'm going to keep researching, but this
- 1:42:59Speaker 14: is phenomenal, really.
- 1:43:01Speaker 7: See, I appreciate that.
- 1:43:02Speaker 4: And that's One of the things that you know we
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: try to do with our platform is you know, we
- 1:43:06Speaker 4: can only do so much. Right, It's like, you know,
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: we we everybody has to take up take responsibility and
- 1:43:11Speaker 4: move the world forward. But I feel like, you know,
- 1:43:14Speaker 4: previous turning allegians humbly speaking, you know, we get insights
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: like when you see Mark Cuban, the god's worked for
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: a billion dollars, so when he says, you know, NFTs,
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: when you see Gary Vee, who's up with a three
- 1:43:26Speaker 4: hundred million who's saying and that's one hundred hours in
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: n f TS, Like you know what I mean, Previously
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: we might not have got that information because the outlet
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: it wasn't there was no outlet to have that kind
- 1:43:37Speaker 4: of like these are serious people, like these aren't just
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: random people off the street. So you know, now it's
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: up to us to actually do the research and learn
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: and you know, could we all The biggest thing that
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: we always say is that you know, relate to the party.
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: We was left behind. Nobody told us, so you can't
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: really have that excuse now because you're being told. So
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: that's why I love, Like somebody said, like what's the
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: class Eyo University you know, the members put together a
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: crypto group and they're gonna have an n f T
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: class and they said, like digital art. Yeah, that's what
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: we're talking about, n f ts, not just digital art,
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: but non fungible tokens. One of the things are digital
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: digital art. And they're gonna have a whole class on themselves.
- 1:44:20Speaker 4: They too, Yeah, music, collectibles, all of that, and that's
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: on March fifth. So it's like, knowledge is power, man,
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: Knowledge is power, and it's a seat, it's a c
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: it's like an ocean of knowledge, like you know what
- 1:44:34Speaker 4: I mean, Like we just you learn something and you
- 1:44:36Speaker 4: realize how much you don't know, and it's a humbling
- 1:44:39Speaker 4: experience because it's like there's so much more to learn.
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: And this is why, Like when we interview Mark Cuban,
- 1:44:44Speaker 4: I asked him how much time he spends learning and
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: he says all day, every day, he said, I invest
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: in courses, I buy books, I buy online classes. He said,
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: I'm literally learning all the time because I have to
- 1:44:56Speaker 4: stay up to date and the world changes so quickly.
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: So yeah, so you know that's just that's just some
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: food for thought. But we can never get complacent. We
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: can never act like we know it all. We're all students.
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: We're all students at the end of the day. No
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: matter how much we think we know, there's still a
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: wide range of things that we have no idea about.
- 1:45:17Speaker 4: And there's nothing wrong with that. Like me, personally, I
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: hate people that act like they know everything about everything
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: because A it's just not true and then B it's pretentious.
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: And you and you, you you push people off by
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: acting like you're an expert when you know when you're
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: a student. There's nothing wrong with being a student. We
- 1:45:33Speaker 4: can all learn from each other and we can all grow.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: And that's what we built our platform on. We built
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: our platform as being a community of students. We're not
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: we're not chosen leaders or you never said we don't.
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: We don't call our conception wasn't immaculate.
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: We didn't come from that, none of that.
- 1:45:53Speaker 4: We just regular people that just come from a neighborhood
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: that just learned some stuff and we network with great
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: people like justin that. No more stuff, and we just
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: put it to you'll put it out there in the universe.
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: That's it.
- 1:46:05Speaker 14: And we thank y'all.
- 1:46:06Speaker 3: We thank y'all.
- 1:46:07Speaker 14: God bless you continued success and happy early birthday were
- 1:46:11Speaker 14: shot on Dominican Independence Day.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: Shout out to shouts all the Dominicans out there. I'm
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: boring on.
- 1:46:24Speaker 10: From the heights.
- 1:46:24Speaker 5: Baby.
- 1:46:25Speaker 14: All right, thank you, gentlemen.
- 1:46:27Speaker 4: I know it's two important events in world history on
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: Subra Dominican Independence Day and my birthday.
- 1:46:34Speaker 5: Man, justus that is different.
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: Just just we want to thank you for your time,
- 1:46:41Speaker 4: brother man telling people how they can follow you, any
- 1:46:45Speaker 4: initiatives that you have going on, any information things of
- 1:46:48Speaker 4: that nature.
- 1:46:49Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I'm on Instagram at New Age CEO, so
- 1:46:53Speaker 7: you guys can follow me there.
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: And yeah, man, everything is around, you know, like financial education.
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: I've got a motivational meek stay on music that's free.
- 1:47:01Speaker 6: You guys can listen to it. It's called The Road
- 1:47:02Speaker 6: the Seventh Figure. So a lot of things I learned
- 1:47:04Speaker 6: on my personal road for business, the finance and things
- 1:47:07Speaker 6: of that nature.
- 1:47:08Speaker 7: And yeah, man, you know, you guys can message me
- 1:47:10Speaker 7: DM me, but I would just say this, man, I'm
- 1:47:13Speaker 7: proud of you know this, this what's happening, uh in
- 1:47:17Speaker 7: our community. You know, people that look like us and
- 1:47:20Speaker 7: brothers are smart and it's not like it's not just
- 1:47:23Speaker 7: the look. You know what you guys are put together.
- 1:47:25Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:47:25Speaker 6: So I honor anytime somebody lets me, you know, have
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: access to their already and vice versus, because I know
- 1:47:31Speaker 6: that's an important thing.
- 1:47:32Speaker 7: So just want you guys know I'll always honor that.
- 1:47:35Speaker 7: And hey, look, anytime y'all come to Atlanta, I got
- 1:47:37Speaker 7: you guys, appreciate it.
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: But we've been back Atlanta soon you know, that's our
- 1:47:41Speaker 4: second Hary soon so we're back in the we'd be
- 1:47:43Speaker 4: back in the a soon man. And yeah, so yes,
- 1:47:48Speaker 4: this is our forty five minutes the replay. The replay

- 1:47:58Speaker 4: is just gives you an insight of you Yo University

- 1:48:07Speaker 4: long term care, how to restock charts, cryptocurrency, anything that
- 1:48:11Speaker 4: you can think of when it comes to finance. And
- 1:48:13Speaker 4: then we do monthly financial planning calls. For me, I'm
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: actually a licensed financial planner.
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: And then we do we have a.

- 1:48:42Speaker 4: come together and one of the groups is a crypto group,
- 1:48:45Speaker 4: and I just actually found out that on the fifth,
- 1:48:48Speaker 4: March fifth, they're going to have a group conversation about
- 1:48:52Speaker 4: NFTs the clock, and so that's that's gonna be doing.
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: I'm definitely gonna jump.
- 1:48:56Speaker 7: Into ass.
- 1:48:59Speaker 5: Gonna be a good one.

- 1:50:07Speaker 2: diligent about that of putting people in places that they
- 1:50:10Speaker 2: can thrive.
- 1:50:10Speaker 5: So yeah again salute to her.
- 1:50:12Speaker 3: Yeah for sure.
- 1:50:13Speaker 5: So all right, wait, wait before we go, we can
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: not acknowledge the guy that's on the wall behind us
- 1:50:19Speaker 5: to j I mean.
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: I'm sure everybody so them on CNBC, which means that
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: we are getting closer.
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: And I told you we're going to keep saying the name.
- 1:50:25Speaker 7: So I brought the bottle down.
- 1:50:27Speaker 5: So space is up there and that was a huge
- 1:50:30Speaker 5: deal for the community. And salute to him. And we're
- 1:50:33Speaker 5: gonna keep saying them until he's sitting there next to us.
- 1:50:35Speaker 3: So I gotta do it, got to do it. Jay waiting, waiting.
- 1:50:39Speaker 5: We're waiting, Sean Carter, if you're out there.

- 1:50:59Speaker 2: completely change forever. So please check in on your loved ones,
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: check on your friends, and check with somebody you haven't
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: spoken to a while. I encourage you employee to do that. Educators,

- 1:51:29Speaker 5: So rest in peace. We out. We love y'all. Peace.
- 1:51:38Speaker 3: My graduates from my school being forced back. Drop drop, Mike.
- 1:51:44Speaker 15: Drop, Coach, The energy out there felt different. What changed
- 1:51:59Speaker 15: for the team today?
- 1:52:00Speaker 16: It was the new game day scratches from the California
- 1:52:02Speaker 16: Lottery Player is everything. Those games sent the team's energy
- 1:52:06Speaker 16: through the roof.
- 1:52:06Speaker 15: Are you saying it was the off field play that
- 1:52:08Speaker 15: made the difference on the field.
- 1:52:09Speaker 16: Hey, little play makes your day, and today it made
- 1:52:12Speaker 16: the game. That's awfu Now, Coach, one more.
- 1:52:15Speaker 17: Question played the new Los Angeles Chargers, San Francisco forty
- 1:52:18Speaker 17: nine Ers and Los Angeles Rams scratchers from the California Lottery.
- 1:52:21Speaker 17: A little play can make your day. Peace play responsibly.
- 1:52:25Speaker 17: Must be eighteen years or older to purchase plate or
- 1:52:26Speaker 17: claim
