A powerful tornado tore through the Valley, leaving a trail of destruction from northern Youngstown into Lawrence County—downed trees, blocked roads, and even a tree crashing onto a home. The east side of Youngstown bore the brunt, with debris everywhere and residents taking shelter as the storm raged. Miraculously, no serious injuries were reported thanks to swift emergency response, including crews clearing fallen power lines and checking on safety.
