- 0:00Speaker 1: Danny and Cole, 97.1 Hank FM.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Back in the studio this morning after spending our show
- 0:05Speaker 2: at Kroger in Noblesville yesterday for Help in the Heartland.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Yeah, a big thank you to everybody who donated, everybody
- 0:12Speaker 3: who came out to say hello to.
- 0:14Speaker 4: It was a lot of fun.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I liked being out there.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We said it immediately once we got back together after
- 0:19Speaker 2: all the flooding happened.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We're like, we have to do something. We don't know
- 0:22Speaker 1: what it is.
- 0:23Speaker 2: And then everyone here at the company that we work for,
- 0:26Speaker 2: Radio One, was like, no, we are putting together something big.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Everyone's going to be a part of it.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And it was really cool because we work in this
- 0:32Speaker 2: building and there are 10 different brands here between radio stations,
- 0:36Speaker 2: TV stations.
- 0:38Speaker 1: And we don't get to see our coworkers all that often.
- 0:41Speaker 3: A lot of times you and I just walk right
- 0:43Speaker 3: into our studio. Plus, we're here kind of early.
- 0:46Speaker 2: And so it's cool to see everybody out there working
- 0:47Speaker 2: towards one goal. And again, thank you for all your donations.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You can still make donations, too, to help out those
- 0:53Speaker 2: affected by the flooding here in central Indiana as the
- 0:55Speaker 2: American Red Cross is going to work. You can go
- 0:58Speaker 2: to our website, HankFM.com.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Also, that keyword to text to give you the link
- 1:03Speaker 3: is still active. And that keyword is give, G-I-V-E, give
- 1:10Speaker 3: to 317-663-9797.
- 1:11Speaker 1: And then if you shop at Kroger through the end
- 1:12Speaker 1: of the month, you can round up.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Your purchases, or they have little QR codes to make
- 1:17Speaker 2: donations there too. We donated our new country cash yesterday
- 1:22Speaker 2: to the cause.
- 1:24Speaker 1: And so $ 500 back in the jackpot today. 850 will
- 1:27Speaker 1: tell you what time to win. And we got more
- 1:29Speaker 1: concert tickets to give away.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Sam Barber tickets coming up here around 635. We'll play
- 1:33Speaker 3: Sam Barber or your barber.
- 1:35Speaker 2: We are Indies number one for New Country 97.1. Hank
- 1:39Speaker 2: FM got the text earlier this week that you can
- 1:41Speaker 2: take our new music survey. It's up now at HankFM.com.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Your chance to tell us about the music we play
- 1:47Speaker 2: and maybe walk away with $ 250. They did what?
- 1:53Speaker 3: A woman on Instagram is going viral for sharing a
- 1:56Speaker 3: mom's group chat where another mom named Michelle is asking
- 2:00Speaker 3: the other kindergarten mothers to stop packing Oreos.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Because it makes her daughter Ava upset. There's not an.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Allergy issue here or anything. She just doesn't want her
- 2:13Speaker 3: daughter eating Oreos. So she's trying to dictate what other
- 2:18Speaker 3: moms pack. So Ava doesn't compare and get sad about
- 2:23Speaker 3: the lunches. And then so the mom who posted it
- 2:26Speaker 3: was like, with respect, I'm not changing my daughter's lunch
- 2:29Speaker 3: because your daughter wants an Oreo. Well, this has been
- 2:34Speaker 3: going on for days and days and days. And now
- 2:38Speaker 3: the daughter who's not getting Oreos is making trades in
- 2:42Speaker 3: the lunchroom to get Oreos.
- 2:44Speaker 2: That's what I was going to say. If your mom
- 2:45Speaker 2: ain't packing you something, find a way.
- 2:47Speaker 1: To get one, kid.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I mean, I didn't always get what I wanted in
- 2:49Speaker 2: my lunch, but I got what I wanted to eat.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Yeah, they're calling it Oreo gate.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Also, why do parents make things so much more of
- 2:58Speaker 2: a bigger deal than the kids are probably making it?
- 3:00Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 3:01Speaker 1: Like the girl is probably fine.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 2: And mom was like, oh, no, no, no, no. And
- 3:06Speaker 2: then the other mom like, OK, you can tell her
- 3:08Speaker 2: I don't I'm not going to listen. I'm still packing words.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Why'd you have to post it? Like, why does everyone
- 3:12Speaker 2: feel like they have to post.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Things all the time?
- 3:16Speaker 4: Also, do you have to respond at all?
- 3:21Speaker 1: No, you don't have to.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Especially for days.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 4: This was going on for days. Too much.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Danny and Cole 97.1 Hank FM. We'd love to wake
- 3:32Speaker 2: up a winner. And that is why we share our
- 3:34Speaker 2: concert tickets with you. Mostly because they tell us that
- 3:37Speaker 2: we can't have them.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So we might as well give them to you.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Sam Barber, friend of the show, one of our former
- 3:44Speaker 2: Annie and Cole Up Close concert alums. He is bringing
- 3:47Speaker 2: his tour to the Fishers Event Center coming up September 9th.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And we want to make sure you have tickets in.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Sam Barber or your barber is the game this morning.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Does this quote come from Sam Barber, like a song
- 3:59Speaker 3: or something that he said? Or, you know, sometimes we
- 4:02Speaker 3: get into interesting conversations with our barbers.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I don't even want to know what my hairdresser says
- 4:08Speaker 1: to me.
- 4:09Speaker 4: This is something that maybe your barber would say to you.
- 4:11Speaker 5: 317-663-9797.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You're going to text your answer to us. I can
- 4:17Speaker 3: make you feel younger, but I can't make you act it.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I can make you feel younger, but I can't make
- 4:26Speaker 3: you act it. Your Barber or Sam Barber, 317-663-9797. Text
- 4:31Speaker 3: your answer to us. You're entered in to win tickets
- 4:35Speaker 3: to see Sam Barber coming up September 9th, Fishers Event Center.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Excited for live music at any time. You could go
- 4:42Speaker 1: see live music.
- 4:43Speaker 2: For free at Even better, our friends hooking you up
- 4:47Speaker 2: with tickets in to see Sam Barber at the Fishers
- 4:50Speaker 2: Event Center coming up September 9th.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Sam Barber or Your Barber is the game this morning.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Did this quote come from Sam Barber or not? I
- 4:59Speaker 3: can make you look younger, but I can't make you
- 5:01Speaker 3: act it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't think Sam said it. I'm going to say
- 5:03Speaker 1: Your Barber.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Your Barber is correct. Well done, Annie. I think.
- 5:08Speaker 3: You know, you were a little nervous about getting them
- 5:10Speaker 3: right for this game, but I'm pretty sure you're four
- 5:12Speaker 3: for four.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:13Speaker 3: So we'll see how you do tomorrow. Another chance for
- 5:15Speaker 3: you to win tomorrow as well. Congratulations to our winners today.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Going to see Sam Barber at Fisher's Event Center coming
- 5:23Speaker 3: up September 9th.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Well, thank you so much for sharing your Dolly stories
- 5:33Speaker 2: with us over the past couple of days. We have
- 5:35Speaker 2: read them on our text line. We're working on getting
- 5:37Speaker 2: those requests in as we can as well. I saw
- 5:40Speaker 2: they ran a lot. We're going to honor Dolly on
- 5:43Speaker 2: Saturday's show. They've got a bunch of names stepping up
- 5:48Speaker 2: and becoming a part of this. Dolly has been an
- 5:50Speaker 2: Opry member since 1969.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Carly Pierce.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Who we've talked about launched her career at Dolly Parton's
- 5:57Speaker 2: Dollywood theme park. That is what she convinced her parents
- 6:00Speaker 2: to move from their home city to go do will
- 6:03Speaker 2: be part of it all.
- 6:06Speaker 3: If you see unreleased music products, books, experiences, and campaigns
- 6:11Speaker 3: launched through the official Dolly Parton channels, you can have
- 6:14Speaker 3: confidence in knowing that she placed her personal stamp on it.
- 6:19Speaker 3: She left behind a roadmap of planned products.
- 6:23Speaker 4: And projects before she passed. Of course she did.
- 6:26Speaker 3: It includes the new hotel and museum and Dolly dolls
- 6:30Speaker 3: and her cup of ambition coffee. So yeah, she, she
- 6:33Speaker 3: has that stuff all already planned for it to be
- 6:35Speaker 3: released when it's ready to be released. I, you know,
- 6:38Speaker 3: I wouldn't expect anything less from the queen Dolly Parton.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Dolly also has a secret song in a time capsule.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Did you see this? Yes.
- 6:47Speaker 2: My place in history is what it's called. It's not
- 6:49Speaker 2: supposed to be released until 2046 on what would be
- 6:52Speaker 2: her hundredth birthday.
- 6:53Speaker 1: So, 20 years. We got 20 years to wait for
- 6:58Speaker 1: this song.
- 6:59Speaker 2: So if you are struggling to keep things going, know
- 7:02Speaker 2: that there is a secret Dolly song that's coming out
- 7:05Speaker 2: in 20 years as we continue to honor the legacy
- 7:09Speaker 2: of Dolly.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Can we talk about what's on the background of your phone?
- 7:13Speaker 4: Oh, yes, we can.
- 7:14Speaker 3: I would love to talk about it. I just changed
- 7:19Speaker 3: these the other day. I'm excited for football season. I
- 7:22Speaker 3: love football.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Baby Josie and my dog.
- 7:26Speaker 3: So I have put them in football related scenes and
- 7:31Speaker 3: made them into background. So the one, this one, I'll
- 7:34Speaker 3: post these two on our like Facebook pages as well.
- 7:36Speaker 3: But this first one is her and Reggie dressed in
- 7:40Speaker 3: Colts gear and and she is banging the anvil at
- 7:44Speaker 3: a Colts game.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Okay, we need to make this an actual reality, though.
- 7:49Speaker 3: And then the second one is her and Reggie running
- 7:53Speaker 3: over defenders in IU football gear.
- 8:01Speaker 4: They're so good, and they make me laugh every time
- 8:03Speaker 4: I look at them.
- 8:04Speaker 1: This is the first time, though, that you've made... I
- 8:06Speaker 1: feel like this might be one of your.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I don't want to say specialties. Is it just like
- 8:14Speaker 1: one of your skills?
- 8:15Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 8:15Speaker 1: What are we listing this as?
- 8:16Speaker 4: I am pretty good at creating these images.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:19Speaker 4: I know the right thing to type in.
- 8:21Speaker 1: So what is your phone background currently?
- 8:24Speaker 2: Indy's number one for New Country, 97.1 Hank FM. That
- 8:28Speaker 2: is a new one from Dylan Scott. Dear Big City
- 8:30Speaker 2: with Annie and Cole, 97.1 Hank FM. And Dylan Scott
- 8:35Speaker 2: and his team at curb records made a donation for help.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I saw that come through yesterday after we were already
- 8:41Speaker 3: done for the morning.
- 8:42Speaker 4: That's awesome. How cool is that?
- 8:44Speaker 2: I mean, just let you know, just how big of
- 8:46Speaker 2: a deal this was that we have artists in Nashville
- 8:49Speaker 2: making donations to help Hoosiers here in central Indiana.
- 8:53Speaker 3: You can still make your donations as well for helping
- 8:55Speaker 3: the heartland details on our website at Hank FM.com.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It was, I don't know.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Fun doesn't seem like the right word because of what
- 9:02Speaker 2: we were raising money for, but it was great to
- 9:05Speaker 2: see our whole team out there working towards one goal.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And once again, we got to give a shout out
- 9:10Speaker 1: to everybody who.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Worked behind the scenes to pull off a broadcast where
- 9:14Speaker 2: 10 different brands, stations were broadcasting.
- 9:19Speaker 4: It was a lot of work.
- 9:20Speaker 3: And I know we talked to some people because we
- 9:22Speaker 3: got there, but you and I got there a little
- 9:24Speaker 3: bit before six and there were people out there a
- 9:28Speaker 3: couple hours at least before us.
- 9:30Speaker 2: We had our engineering team who are just running wires
- 9:33Speaker 2: and doing things like, here, you just click this button.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Like, thank you. That's, I mean, that's all that I
- 9:37Speaker 1: think we need to do is click a button. We
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't need to help.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I got there early and then they were scrambling and
- 9:43Speaker 2: I was like, you know what? I would offer help,
- 9:44Speaker 2: but I feel like any help that I offer is
- 9:46Speaker 2: just going to slow them down because their brains work
- 9:49Speaker 2: in different ways that my brain can't even comprehend.
- 9:52Speaker 1: We had a.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Promotions team out there, like you said, waking up early
- 9:55Speaker 2: making sure everything looks good. We had everyone working behind
- 9:58Speaker 2: the scenes just to make sure that this could happen.
- 10:01Speaker 3: People who weren't out there too, that they were in
- 10:04Speaker 3: the building making sure.
- 10:05Speaker 4: That everything worked.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And then, of course, big thank you to Kroger for
- 10:08Speaker 2: letting us be out there. We were talking to one
- 10:11Speaker 2: of our friends from Kroger, and he was saying how
- 10:13Speaker 2: the store was the one that you saw on the
- 10:15Speaker 2: news where the water just came up and people were
- 10:17Speaker 2: working inside.
- 10:18Speaker 1: And they said they looked out and they're like, oh,
- 10:19Speaker 1: there's a little bit of rain out there. And then
- 10:20Speaker 1: they looked out and the whole parking lot was covered.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And they're still working to get everything in the store
- 10:26Speaker 1: put back together. The gas station just opened up.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Yep.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Because they had to get it recertified to be safe
- 10:32Speaker 2: to pump gas. And so we talked to one of
- 10:35Speaker 2: our listeners who showed us a video of her daughter's home.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Oh, my goodness.
- 10:38Speaker 4: The water like all the way up past the windows.
- 10:42Speaker 2: And so the cleanup is going to continue for a
- 10:44Speaker 2: long time. And your donation is going to make a
- 10:46Speaker 2: big help. And if you need help, there are links
- 10:48Speaker 2: available to as well. Hankfm.com for all of those details. Again,
- 10:52Speaker 2: big thank you to everyone who made a donation and
- 10:55Speaker 2: help made a difference.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Danny and Cole and Hank.
- 10:58Speaker 2: So, you know, if you have kids, they become obsessed
- 11:01Speaker 2: with certain things.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I know baby Josie is still a little young.
- 11:06Speaker 3: She really likes remotes right now. If there is a
- 11:10Speaker 3: remote that she catches her eye, she will drop.
- 11:14Speaker 4: All of her toys and whatever. She's going for that remote.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I feel like every kid goes through like a dinosaur phase,
- 11:20Speaker 2: a train phase. But you then become an expert. at
- 11:26Speaker 2: whatever that obsession currently is. I watched this TikTok video
- 11:29Speaker 2: that made me smile yesterday and it got us thinking.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm going to share it with you coming up next.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Annie and Cole want to know. 97.1 Hank FM. Do
- 11:39Speaker 1: you really want to know?
- 11:41Speaker 5: Annie and Cole want to know.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I came across this video on tiktok yesterday and it
- 11:46Speaker 2: was this mom sitting beside train tracks with her son
- 11:50Speaker 2: and she's like okay sports moms you may have your
- 11:52Speaker 2: sports but we have trains and her son's like yeah
- 11:55Speaker 2: and it's the two of them sitting just watching trains
- 11:58Speaker 2: roll by and then it's just this series of cuts
- 12:00Speaker 2: of them getting in the car and she's like where
- 12:02Speaker 2: are we going he's like to go watch the trains
- 12:05Speaker 2: and she's like mom's dad's What have you become an
- 12:08Speaker 2: expert in because your kid loves it so much?
- 12:11Speaker 1: She's like, I'll go first.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I know way more about trains than I ever thought
- 12:15Speaker 2: I was ever going to know.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I love that.
- 12:19Speaker 3: And I love the parent that is ready to jump
- 12:21Speaker 3: in and become an expert as well.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I think you have to, right?
- 12:25Speaker 2: Because if your kid's excited about something, you want them
- 12:28Speaker 2: to be excited.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And also like, how could you not be excited watching
- 12:33Speaker 3: them be so excited about something?
- 12:35Speaker 2: And so other parents were commenting and I was, I
- 12:37Speaker 2: was just smiling, like flipping through it because.
- 12:39Speaker 1: There were some wild ones out there.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Like you get the normal, like trains, dinosaurs, every kid
- 12:43Speaker 2: I think goes through that phase.
- 12:45Speaker 1: There was one mom that's like, I'm a trust his mom.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I was like, what does that mean?
- 12:49Speaker 2: She's like, we drive through neighborhoods and we look at
- 12:51Speaker 2: like house trusses, like, and the different styles and we vote,
- 12:56Speaker 2: which ones are our favorites. And like, That is something
- 13:01Speaker 2: so oddly very specific that you're doing. But also, I mean,
- 13:06Speaker 2: might be leaning to be like an engineer or something
- 13:08Speaker 2: like that.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Like studying stuff like that.
- 13:11Speaker 4: That's fun, too. Now I'm looking at them.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Like, oh, yeah.
- 13:15Speaker 1: How many different kinds are there? What can I actually
- 13:17Speaker 1: look at in the neighborhood?
- 13:20Speaker 2: My niece goes through so many phases, though.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I feel like she's never really settled on one where
- 13:24Speaker 1: she was like super.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Super obsessed with.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I have been learning more about Hello Kitty than I
- 13:30Speaker 2: think I want to learn about currently.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I don't know much about Hello Kitty.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't like Hello Kitty. She likes all the
- 13:37Speaker 2: other characters, too. So that's got to be up on
- 13:39Speaker 2: Chromie and Cinnamon Roll.
- 13:41Speaker 3: And, you know, that happens with some TV shows. Like
- 13:44Speaker 3: I think of like, you know, New Girl, Zooey Deschanel.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:48Speaker 4: End up being like the real favorite at the end. Yes.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Or how I met your mother was probably that way too.
- 13:54Speaker 3: So I suppose that could also be true for Hello Kitty.
- 13:59Speaker 1: I am so mad. I thought I was set.
- 14:01Speaker 2: My nephew, Henry, he is on the spectrum. He goes
- 14:07Speaker 2: through his phases of what he likes to eat. It's
- 14:10Speaker 2: three items that he'll eat. I thought he was set
- 14:13Speaker 2: when he came to visit.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 2: He really likes to eat noodles. Noodles are his thing.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I bought the wrong kind of noodles.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You can't buy it. He doesn't like a penny. penne noodles.
- 14:27Speaker 1: It has to be like full like spaghetti noodles.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Gotcha.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Don't hit them with the corkscrew ones either. You know
- 14:33Speaker 1: what I mean? Like I thought I was like set
- 14:35Speaker 1: and I botched it. I really blew that one up.
- 14:39Speaker 2: So what have you become an expert in Because your
- 14:43Speaker 2: kid loves it so much.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Annie and Cole.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Text or give us a call. 317-663-9797. Hank FM.
- 14:52Speaker 2: What topic have you learned way too much about because
- 14:56Speaker 2: of your kids?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Okay, we have some good ones on the Armor Air
- 15:00Speaker 3: text line at 317-663-9797. This one says, my grandson is
- 15:03Speaker 3: obsessed with Teslas. He knows Cybertrucks, all the Tesla models,
- 15:06Speaker 3: Y model, and the models. He's only six. That reminds
- 15:10Speaker 3: me of this kid that I saw who had like
- 15:12Speaker 3: sidewalk chalk and was doing all of the logos to
- 15:16Speaker 3: everything like Tesla and Ford and Chevy. And he could
- 15:20Speaker 3: just like write them out real quick with sidewalk chalk
- 15:23Speaker 3: and Jeep.
- 15:23Speaker 4: And they all looked like perfect.
- 15:26Speaker 3: This one says we have a kid in our class
- 15:28Speaker 3: that's obsessed with expired food containers.
- 15:31Speaker 4: So now we all know.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 15:34Speaker 3: This one says, a friend of mine has a 10-year-old
- 15:37Speaker 3: son who's obsessed with vintage showbiz pizza stuff and even
- 15:41Speaker 3: went to a convention for it. I see dragons on
- 15:45Speaker 3: the text line.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I see this one that says, my son, who is.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Now 10, got really into WWE when he was about three,
- 15:52Speaker 3: and here we are seven years later, and we're all
- 15:54Speaker 3: still obsessed.
- 15:56Speaker 2: That's a fun one to get into with your kids, too,
- 15:58Speaker 2: especially when a whole family does it, and then you're like, okay.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It's a cool way for us all to bond a
- 16:04Speaker 2: little bit.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Clickbait Cole on the way here.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I have a list for you of the rudest things
- 16:10Speaker 3: you can do at someone else's house, according to the HuffPost.
- 16:14Speaker 4: It's kind of funny because we were talking about the
- 16:16Speaker 4: shoes in the house yesterday.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah, is wearing your shoes in the house on the list?
- 16:20Speaker 3: Well, we'll find out after a couple songs. We'll see
- 16:23Speaker 3: what you think about the rest, too. Like I said,
- 16:24Speaker 3: I got a list of 10 here to share.
- 16:27Speaker 5: So shocking, it'll make your jaw drop. He clicked on
- 16:30Speaker 5: it so you don't have to. It's Clickbait Cole on
- 16:35Speaker 5: Hank FM.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Well, we know number one on Annie's list here is.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Take your darn shoes off.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Take your shoes off. And I don't think it's that
- 16:42Speaker 3: big of a deal. Are these the rudest things you
- 16:44Speaker 3: can do at someone else's house? I have a list
- 16:46Speaker 3: of 10 here. We'll find out if that made the list.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And I just want to see what you think about
- 16:50Speaker 3: some of these. Because as I was reading through them,
- 16:52Speaker 3: I kind of thought to myself, yeah, I don't really care.
- 16:56Speaker 4: It's fine. Number one on their list is touching or
- 17:00Speaker 4: moving things.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yeah, leave my stuff where it's supposed to be. Why
- 17:04Speaker 1: are you touching? Why are you moving anything at my house?
- 17:11Speaker 4: I thought it had a better spot. I don't know.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Who's coming into someone else's house and just moving things anyway?
- 17:19Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:20Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Why do you think you have the right to do it.
- 17:22Speaker 4: If you did it? Number two is expecting a tour.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh, no. I love a good tour. I don't expect it.
- 17:29Speaker 2: But if you want to give me, especially if you
- 17:31Speaker 2: live in a nice house, if you want to give me.
- 17:33Speaker 1: A tour of it, I am here for it.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't mind a tour.
- 17:37Speaker 3: And if you want a tour and there's some, like,
- 17:41Speaker 3: you know, maybe we didn't pick up the bedroom completely.
- 17:44Speaker 4: I just won't show you the bedroom.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 4: That's fine.
- 17:46Speaker 5: No.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Number three is I think the one that I have
- 17:49Speaker 3: the biggest problem with is overstaying your welcome.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Get out.
- 17:53Speaker 4: I am not good at kicking people out of my house,
- 17:55Speaker 4: but I want you to leave. Please.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Yes.
- 17:58Speaker 2: At a respectable time to like you can tell when
- 18:01Speaker 2: things are winding down.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Get out.
- 18:03Speaker 3: I think I have a really good sense of that.
- 18:05Speaker 3: If I'm at somebody else's house, I like to think so.
- 18:07Speaker 5: At least.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Yeah. Number four is hiding a mess. You made a spill.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Didn't tell them.
- 18:13Speaker 2: I've broken something before and put it back, hoping that
- 18:16Speaker 2: the next person who touches it is.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Like, oh, no, what'd you do?
- 18:19Speaker 4: Number five is snooping. I'm a snooper. I don't have
- 18:23Speaker 4: anything to.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Hide, really.
- 18:25Speaker 4: So I don't I don't mind.
- 18:26Speaker 1: You tell them you're in someone's bathroom. You're not snooping
- 18:29Speaker 1: through what they got going on in there.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I'm not snooping.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Oh, are we better than snooping over there?
- 18:35Speaker 5: What?
- 18:35Speaker 4: Because I'm snooping. I know. I don't think I've ever
- 18:39Speaker 4: really done that before.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Me neither.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I've never.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Maybe I will now, though.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I've never snooped ever. Number six is bringing an uninvited
- 18:47Speaker 3: plus one. This doesn't bother me either.
- 18:49Speaker 4: The more the merrier. Me neither. Number seven is waiting
- 18:52Speaker 4: to share your dietary restrictions. I would just hope you
- 18:54Speaker 4: would do that.
- 18:55Speaker 3: So, you know, I don't accidentally, you.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Know, make you sick.
- 18:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Make you sick.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Number eight is feeding their dog without asking them. I mean,
- 19:05Speaker 3: I just assume that you're going to feed my dog.
- 19:07Speaker 4: So do I.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Don't feed him chicken, though. He's allergic.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Well, there you go. Well, he should have shared his
- 19:11Speaker 4: dietary restrictions. Number nine is disrespecting their shoe rules.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Okay, take the dang shoes off, people. When you come
- 19:19Speaker 1: to my house, at least. Kohl's, track your garbage all
- 19:22Speaker 1: through this house.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Number 15, the last one I got for you. I
- 19:24Speaker 4: don't really mind this one either. Showing up empty-handed.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I don't expect you to bring things to my house.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Annie and Cole, be a part of the show. Call
- 19:32Speaker 5: or text 317-663-9797. Good morning, Annie and Cole.
- 19:38Speaker 1: How's it going?
- 19:40Speaker 4: We're good. We're talking about the rudest things you can
- 19:42Speaker 4: do at someone else's house. What you got for us?
- 19:44Speaker 4: You know, one on my top list is going to
- 19:47Speaker 4: the trouble of making this big meal and then.
- 19:50Speaker 1: everybody else sitting around while you clean it up. So
- 19:52Speaker 1: you want people to help you clean up?
- 19:55Speaker 5: Yes.
- 19:56Speaker 3: This is kind of interesting. I want you to at
- 19:58Speaker 3: least bring your stuff to the sink. But after that,
- 20:04Speaker 3: I'm okay cleaning it up because I know where it goes.
- 20:06Speaker 4: That's true.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That's true.
- 20:08Speaker 4: That's my problem, too. I'm like, don't.
- 20:10Speaker 2: My mom, when she comes to visit, she always wants
- 20:12Speaker 2: to clean. I'm like, Mom, you're a gas chill. But
- 20:14Speaker 2: then she puts things back, and I don't know where
- 20:16Speaker 2: it's at.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I at least want you to throw your stuff away, though,
- 20:20Speaker 3: and bring your dish to the sink. If you didn't
- 20:22Speaker 3: at least do that, that would annoy me.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Right. Exactly.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You make a good point about things where they don't belong. Like, God,
- 20:30Speaker 1: what are you doing?
- 20:31Speaker 4: Then I'm just, like, coaching people all the time. That
- 20:33Speaker 4: plate goes there. That fork goes there. And it just,
- 20:35Speaker 4: that seems like more work. I can do it faster.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Just give it to me.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Right.
- 20:38Speaker 2: That's true.
- 20:39Speaker 5: That's true.
- 20:40Speaker 1: But do a little bit.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Do a little bit. Or at least, like, offer.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Annie and Cole. Weekday mornings 6 to 10 on 97.1
- 20:46Speaker 5: Hank FM.
