Speaker 1: Wow, we've got a few things happening. Okay, all right.
• 0:13
They've been trying to make a Laura Croft TV show
• 0:18
for quite a while. Now makes sense, and they when
• 0:22
when Phoebe waller Bridge heard about this, she goes, oh, oh,
• 0:25
I'm a huge fan. I don't want to be in it,
• 0:28
but I'll write it. Yeah, so she's writing it. So
• 0:32
they've been trying to cast Laura Croft. Hard to do,
• 0:37
hard to do. I'm not too sure about this casting.
• 0:41
Uh it's Sophie Turner from Queen of the North. Queen
• 0:46
of the North. Yeah, okay, I mean I think he
• 0:50
could have done better sans a start from Game of Thrones.
• 0:54
But yeah, so she got the she's got the job.
• 0:57
I was taking a look at some of the others
• 0:59
and I would have picked them. But there you go.
• 1:03
As Lee put it, she's, you know, good actress, So
• 1:08
show me what you got once again. Disney has taken
• 1:12
Star Wars off the twenty twenty six calendar, and because
• 1:15
they own Ice Age, they put in a new Ice
• 1:17
Age movie because those make money and they pretty much don't.
• 1:21
It doesn't it matter if it's good or not. It's
• 1:23
just no people will go see, well, what Do you
• 1:26
mean they're always good all the Ice Age movies, all
• 1:29
of them. Yeah. Sure, so they've pushed that back. You
• 1:32
won't be getting the new Star Wars movie until twenty
• 1:34
twenty seven. Ers, no way, let's see hang on. Oh,
• 1:37
Mandalorian and Grogu will land in theaters in May twenty
• 1:40
twenty six. Yeah, so that's a while away. Okay, Oh
• 1:45
well you got you got that Skeleton Crew Star Wars
• 1:49
TV show coming up, and Jude Law is thrilled to
• 1:54
be in it. Huge Star Wars fan apparently, huge Star
• 1:58
Wars fan, so very excited. Let's see uh Prey. Director
• 2:03
Dan Tracktenberg, I love that movie. He has revealed that
• 2:07
his upcoming follow up movie, Predator bad Lands, is set
• 2:13
not on Earth but on an alien world and stars
• 2:19
a representative of the yaut Ja species as its main character.
• 2:24
That's the Predator, that's the Predators. According to Tracktenberg, the
• 2:27
creature is front and center, leading the charge. He's still badass,
• 2:31
but there's something there that touches you emotionally as well. Family.
• 2:35
He has a family. I don't know, missus Predator. Creating
• 2:40
Predator says creating a character you connect with but are
• 2:42
also super Intimidated by has been challenging but exciting. I
• 2:45
can't wait. I can't wait for child Predator action figures.
• 2:51
I want and Grandma Predator Grandma in a week. I
• 2:55
want Grandma Predator in a walker is what I want.
• 3:00
You go, There's and there's Uncle Predatory, loudmouth Uncle Predator.
• 3:04
We used to pull their spines out by hand. We
• 3:09
didn't use that tool man anyway. So Watch Prey was
• 3:16
really good. But owen El Fanning is in the movie.
• 3:20
She's playing multiple roles, she's playing twins, so that'll be
• 3:26
something to look forward to. Well, she can do that
• 3:28
because she looks just like herself. Indeed, more casting to
• 3:33
this Green Lantern TV series, Porna Jaganathan has been cast
• 3:39
in a character that even my most hardcore Green Lantern
• 3:43
fans can't place. So maybe she was created for the show.
• 3:46
Character named Zoe. Uh read the description of the character
• 3:50
and even they don't know, but we'll see. I'm I'm
• 3:53
gonna wait and see on that one. Speaking of Green Lantern,
• 3:57
there is this uh Bank Empire Center. It's like a
• 4:01
shopping center, okay in beautiful downtown Burbank, and it's partially
• 4:07
owned by like Warner Brothers and these people. So they
• 4:11
have a Batman statue, they have a wonder Woman statue. Okay,
• 4:15
and now they've just added a green lantern statue and
• 4:19
it looks really nice. Finally this I may watch a
• 4:23
football game. Why Bart Simpson may soon have a new catchphrase,
• 4:29
don't have a cowboy man? Who wrote this? I mean,
• 4:32
who wrote this? Come on? This is terrible. The Walt
• 4:35
Disney Company, the NFL, and ESPN teaming up to debut
• 4:39
another animated alternative broadcast of an upcoming NFL game. But
• 4:43
this time they're going big with ESPN's The Simpsons Fun
• 4:47
Day Football. Now they've done this before with Toy Story. Yeah,
• 4:52
but there's a little bit of a change on this.
• 4:54
What do they do exactly? On December ninth, Disney Plus
• 4:57
and ESPN will stream the Dallas Cowboy Cincinnati Bengals game,
• 5:01
but it will take place in Springfield's Adams Stadium, with
• 5:07
all the players replaced by dozens of animated characters based
• 5:11
on those from Fox and Disney Plus series The Simpsons. Now,
• 5:15
this is the second year in a row they've done this.
• 5:17
They did this with Toy Story once before, but the
• 5:19
unlike that game, which saw the Hollywood strikes limit the
• 5:23
ability of Disney to utilize talent from those films. This year,
• 5:28
the Simpsons game will feature a full roster of Simpson's
• 5:31
voice talent participating, including Hanka Zari and Nancy Cartwright, Dan Castell, Lenetta,
• 5:36
Julie Kavner Leardly Smith. They will lend their voices to
• 5:40
some pre recorded bits and skits live so they but
• 5:44
it were mirroring the game its motion capture, so the players.
• 5:50
The computer reads the players the way they move and
• 5:53
replaces them with Simpsons characters. So I'm assuming you'll have
• 5:57
the option of watching the game different Yeah, you'll watch
• 6:01
you can watch it on a different channel. You can
• 6:03
flip back and forth. Or they will also have their
• 6:06
own announcer booth with animated versions of who are these people?
• 6:11
Mina Kimes, den Orlovsky, and Drew Carter. They actual football
• 6:15
Okay Bart will appear on field for the Bengals, while
• 6:23
Homer will play for the Cowboys. Marge and Lisa will
• 6:26
interview players during the game while Maggie man's the skycam.
• 6:31
So that's fun. Like I said, maybe I'll maybe I'll
• 6:35
watch a football game that's a December ninth on Disney
• 6:38
  plus there you go football
