- 0:00Speaker 1: You're list Saints kf i AM six forty. The bill
- 0:03Speaker 1: handles show on demand on the iheartradiop AM sixty bill handle.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Here it is a Monday morning, March twenty third. The
- 0:15Speaker 1: big news internationally and this is staving off some super
- 0:20Speaker 1: duper problems throughout the world and the economy, is that
- 0:24Speaker 1: the President is now postponing the strikes on the Iranian
- 0:28Speaker 1: power plants, citing productive talks to end the war now
- 0:34Speaker 1: midnight tonight. If the strait of horror moves wasn't going
- 0:37Speaker 1: to be opened by Iran, the president was going to
- 0:40Speaker 1: and I quote, obliterate around power entire power, the power
- 0:45Speaker 1: plants and infrastructure and just wipe by its ability to
- 0:50Speaker 1: produce oil and refine oil and transport oil. And that
- 0:55Speaker 1: is the lifeline of Iran as well as the various
- 0:59Speaker 1: states around the golf. And so the president has now
- 1:03Speaker 1: extended five days because there are now productive talks and
- 1:08Speaker 1: the war now. Iran responded in a fairly long response, Huh,
- 1:17Speaker 1: what are you talking about? There are no productive talks
- 1:21Speaker 1: going on. All the President is doing is trying to
- 1:26Speaker 1: lower energy prices and to buy time for his military plans.
- 1:32Speaker 1: So at this point do we believe Iran or do
- 1:35Speaker 1: we believe the president? Well, we know when the president
- 1:40Speaker 1: said he is going to bomb he is, well if
- 1:45Speaker 1: people believe him, because he does. This is a guy
- 1:48Speaker 1: who walks the walk and talks the talk. However, the
- 1:52Speaker 1: bombing of Iranians oil facilities and threatening that if the
- 1:59Speaker 1: state horr Moves isn't open, because the Iranians have have
- 2:04Speaker 1: the power and did exercise the power to just shut
- 2:07Speaker 1: off the Strait of horrorm Moves, which is what twenty
- 2:10Speaker 1: percent of the world's oil goes through the strait, because
- 2:13Speaker 1: it's not just Iranian oil that goes through the strait,
- 2:16Speaker 1: but also all of the Mid East countries that produce oil.
- 2:21Speaker 1: They are the oil is put on tankers and then
- 2:25Speaker 1: move through the Straight of Horror Moves. And Iran has
- 2:29Speaker 1: the northern part. I believe the Emirates or Oman has
- 2:33Speaker 1: the southern part. The whole thing is the it's two
- 2:38Speaker 1: miles wide where the tankers go through the strait. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: mean the strait itself is twenty four miles, but the
- 2:45Speaker 1: tanker lane itself is two miles one mile wide one way,
- 2:49Speaker 1: one mile wide the other way. And it's very easy
- 2:52Speaker 1: to shut it down and the President is now. I
- 2:55Speaker 1: gotta tell you, I think the President is backtracking big
- 2:58Speaker 1: time and he has to get out of this mess
- 3:00Speaker 1: as quickly as possible. I think he's over his head.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I think he bit off more than he can chew
- 3:06Speaker 1: by preparing to wipe out Iran's oil infrastructure. If the
- 3:12Speaker 1: straighter her moves wasn't open, Iran is saying, nope, we're
- 3:16Speaker 1: going to do it. Trump has threatened to, as I said,
- 3:20Speaker 1: obliterate Iran's ability to produce and transport oil. Iran has
- 3:26Speaker 1: threatened to wipe out the oil production and transportation facilities
- 3:30Speaker 1: of all of the Midi states, and they are certainly
- 3:35Speaker 1: willing to do that. And man, you've got two powers
- 3:38Speaker 1: that are just We're on the brink of a major
- 3:42Speaker 1: economic meltdown where it's going to be a very different
- 3:46Speaker 1: world with energy prices going through the roof Gasoline for us,
- 3:51Speaker 1: the prices are going to go crazy. And let's not
- 3:53Speaker 1: forget manufacturing and transportation. Oil affects all of that big time.
- 3:59Speaker 1: So at this point, it looks like President Trump has
- 4:02Speaker 1: blinked first, and as usual, will never take the blame.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You'll never admit that he blinked. First, we'll never admit. Okay,
- 4:09Speaker 1: maybe we underestimated Iran. Maybe we have to step back
- 4:14Speaker 1: and try to figure this out. And the way he
- 4:16Speaker 1: does it is, oh, we have productive talks. That's why
- 4:18Speaker 1: I'm backing down, because Iran is willing to stop. It's well,
- 4:26Speaker 1: as far as we're concerned terrorist attacks on oil facilities
- 4:30Speaker 1: throughout the Mideast, Iran is willing, is ready and willing
- 4:35Speaker 1: to back down, and it isn't, and Israel still keeps
- 4:41Speaker 1: on pounding Iran and the war continues on. Now Americans
- 4:45Speaker 1: have pulled back and the president has to figure out,
- 4:48Speaker 1: Now what do I do. Let's figure out some kind
- 4:51Speaker 1: of peace plan. So it's gone from obliterating Iranian facilities
- 4:57Speaker 1: to okay, you guys want to talk productive talks going on? Okay, okay,
- 5:02Speaker 1: well they're not according to the Iranians. All right, coming up?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Oh another episode in they stole the election. We've been robbed?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Oh no, not again? Oh yes again? And this one
- 5:18Speaker 1: is here in southern California. Okay, if I am six
- 5:23Speaker 1: forty bill handle here on a Monday morning, March twenty third,
- 5:28Speaker 1: looking at some of the news, some great news. The
- 5:32Speaker 1: president is pulled back on his attack of the Iranian
- 5:37Speaker 1: oil facilities. It's infrastructure because of productive talks that are
- 5:42Speaker 1: going on between Iran and the United States. Iran denies
- 5:46Speaker 1: there's any talks at all, but the attack which would
- 5:50Speaker 1: quote obliterate Iran's ability to just pump oil, transport oil,
- 5:57Speaker 1: refine oil. What was gonna happen tonight at midnight? If
- 6:01Speaker 1: the strait of horror moves is not open, well, it's
- 6:04Speaker 1: still closed. But the president is pulled back iron says.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You say, he's just trying to gain some time. Okay,
- 6:12Speaker 1: now we'll start with the next topic. And have you
- 6:16Speaker 1: heard that the election was rigged? Have you heard that
- 6:20Speaker 1: phrase before? All right, let me give you a premise
- 6:24Speaker 1: right now, when the Democrats win anything in this country,
- 6:29Speaker 1: it is rigged. When the Republicans win, it's a fair election. Effectively,
- 6:36Speaker 1: we have one party in this country, and that is
- 6:40Speaker 1: the Republican Party. Democrats win, it's a fraudulent election. All right,
- 6:47Speaker 1: new episode. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, who is running
- 6:51Speaker 1: for governor, has picked up has seized more than six
- 6:56Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand ballots from November's election. Last November
- 7:01Speaker 1: election on prop fifty, and he says, we have to
- 7:05Speaker 1: look at whether they were fraudulently counted and the events.
- 7:08Speaker 1: This investigation is simple, physically count the ballots and compare
- 7:13Speaker 1: that result with the total votes recorded. Now why would
- 7:16Speaker 1: he do that, Well, because Prop fifty passed and it's
- 7:20Speaker 1: a democratic proposition. Therefore it is fraudulent. Of course it is.
- 7:24Speaker 1: He's saying, that's not what I'm doing. I just want
- 7:26Speaker 1: to make sure that the election was proper and fair
- 7:32Speaker 1: and not fraudulent. Well, here we go again. So why
- 7:39Speaker 1: is he saying that, Well, there was a citizen's group
- 7:44Speaker 1: that brought attention to that problem. Which citizens group, I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: not telling you is just concerned citizens that brought the attention,
- 7:52Speaker 1: brought me the attention. Well, they know who it is.
- 7:57Speaker 1: It is a group that they're created to make sure
- 8:02Speaker 1: that elections were fair. Read only in proposition states and
- 8:07Speaker 1: counties and cities where the Democrats win, that's where elections
- 8:10Speaker 1: are not fair. So here we go again. Democrats win,
- 8:16Speaker 1: it's fake, Republicans win, it's fair. And that doesn't stop.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Where do you think that came from? Weill? President Trump
- 8:26Speaker 1: is still totally fixated on the twenty twenty election. Is
- 8:31Speaker 1: there fraud. Well, here we go six hundred and fifty
- 8:34Speaker 1: thousand votes, and the Riverside County election officials say, well,
- 8:41Speaker 1: according to our counting, is their widespread vote. Well, there
- 8:46Speaker 1: could be an issue with one hundred and nine votes
- 8:51Speaker 1: that are questionable. One hundred and nine out of six
- 8:55Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand. Well, what the shire said, we
- 9:01Speaker 1: effectively can't have one vote that is fraudulent. There is
- 9:06Speaker 1: no acceptable air, small or large in our elections. So
- 9:10Speaker 1: we have to assume if two votes out of six
- 9:12Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand are fraudulent, and I guess the
- 9:16Speaker 1: election should be overturned. I don't even know where he
- 9:18Speaker 1: was to go with that. He has to count the ballots.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Now we're talking about physically counting six hundred and fifty
- 9:25Speaker 1: thousand votes to make sure that the election was not fraudulent.
- 9:30Speaker 1: And we go back to and this is Riverside County,
- 9:33Speaker 1: so it's right here in southern California. We go back
- 9:36Speaker 1: to the election of twenty twenty where the attack on
- 9:40Speaker 1: the presidential election and the attack saying that it was
- 9:45Speaker 1: fraud across the board. Sixty three cases were brought in
- 9:51Speaker 1: front of federal judges and state judges sixty three. Not
- 9:56Speaker 1: one was there proof that the election was fraudulent, widespread fraud?
- 10:02Speaker 1: Was there one? Here? One there? Well, when you have
- 10:06Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty million votes cast, I think you're
- 10:09Speaker 1: going to find some. It's that simple. They found literally
- 10:16Speaker 1: a few dozen. It was all allegations and this one
- 10:20Speaker 1: is all allegations. Now I don't know how the magistrate
- 10:24Speaker 1: issued the search and Bonta, our attorney general, says it's
- 10:32Speaker 1: because what Bianca or yeah, Bianco, what he brought to
- 10:39Speaker 1: the table to get that search warrant? That has to
- 10:41Speaker 1: be questioned. No, the only thing to be questioned is
- 10:44Speaker 1: the vote, because it's fraudulent, and why is it fraudulent?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Prop fifty seven? Prop fifty passed, And so we're starting
- 10:53Speaker 1: all over again, aren't we. It's just and by the way,
- 10:56Speaker 1: when he runs and he loses, we're talking about Sheriff Bianco.
- 11:03Speaker 1: If he loses, especially to a Democrat running for governor,
- 11:08Speaker 1: do you think we're going to hear it was a
- 11:10Speaker 1: fraudulent vote, the election was rigged. Of course, we are
- 11:18Speaker 1: absolutely we're going to hear that. I mean, oh, here
- 11:22Speaker 1: it is to go to show you how sort of
- 11:25Speaker 1: he's running, so you figure he's biased. So here is
- 11:29Speaker 1: what he said in an endorsement video in twenty twenty
- 11:34Speaker 1: four regarding what about the presidential After thirty years of
- 11:41Speaker 1: putting criminals in jail, it was time to put a
- 11:44Speaker 1: felon in the White House, Trump twenty twenty four. Baby,
- 11:51Speaker 1: we're starting all over again. Come on, guys, please, are
- 11:55Speaker 1: we going to hit every single election now as fraudulent?
- 11:59Speaker 1: If the Democrats? And it looks that way, doesn't it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: It looks that way, all right? Coming up? Mosquitoes, You
- 12:06Speaker 1: get bitten by a mosquito, and there's the decent chance
- 12:11Speaker 1: that you're going to get very sick. Well today it's
- 12:14Speaker 1: a little different. You get bitten by a mosquito, you're
- 12:18Speaker 1: going to die. Next week, I'll explain that story to you.
- 12:24Speaker 2: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 12:28Speaker 2: six forty.
- 12:30Speaker 1: KFI AM six forty Bill Handle. It is a Monday morning,
- 12:35Speaker 1: March twenty three. Some of the big stories we are covering,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and that is President Trump has extended his deadline to
- 12:45Speaker 1: bomb and quote obliterate the oil facilities of Iran because
- 12:52Speaker 1: there are productive tops going on. It was supposed to
- 12:54Speaker 1: happen after midnight tonight. If the straight of horror moves
- 12:56Speaker 1: didn't open up. Well, there's a five day extension now
- 12:59Speaker 1: because active talks, of which Iran is saying no, there
- 13:02Speaker 1: aren't so Iran saying the president is backing down, which
- 13:06Speaker 1: is by the way, And what else is going on? Oh?
- 13:11Speaker 1: In Air Canada plane collide with a fire truck landing
- 13:13Speaker 1: at Laguardi Airport in New York. The pilot and co
- 13:17Speaker 1: pilot was killed, and ICE agents are going to deploy
- 13:21Speaker 1: to airports today to help TSA agents, which if they
- 13:26Speaker 1: limit it to that, it will help build a reputation
- 13:29Speaker 1: of TSA or homeland security and it will also help
- 13:35Speaker 1: I think, just deal with the backlog. Okay, something is
- 13:39Speaker 1: going on right now, and that is there is a
- 13:42Speaker 1: disease carrying mosquito that is now staying active year round
- 13:48Speaker 1: and is proving very difficult to control. And LA County
- 13:52Speaker 1: officials are doing what they've done before, releasing sterilized male mosquitoes,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and it looks like there, it looks like it's working.
- 14:00Speaker 1: The problem is that costs money. Homeowners are okay with it,
- 14:03Speaker 1: business owners are not. And I'm going to go into that.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So here's what is happening physically residents. We were supposed
- 14:11Speaker 1: to get a respite from these mosquitoes, and they're fueling
- 14:16Speaker 1: a surgeon dengay fever in La County. Who the hell
- 14:19Speaker 1: is ding gay fever? Well, it happens typically these invasive mosquitoes,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and they're called the invasive mosquitoes in Latin, very clever name.
- 14:31Speaker 1: What they are or what they do is disappear from
- 14:34Speaker 1: winter until early May. Not anymore. Now it's year round.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh boy, isn't that fun. And so the presence of
- 14:45Speaker 1: these mosquitoes, cleverly entitled the invasive mosquitoes, adds to the
- 14:50Speaker 1: urgency of the work of the district. And this is
- 14:55Speaker 1: a vector is what they call it, vector control district.
- 14:58Speaker 1: And we have those and virtually every community does, and
- 15:01Speaker 1: it deals with the mosquito and other pests. So when
- 15:04Speaker 1: you call the county out, they come out and they
- 15:07Speaker 1: deal with these pests, and well, they have to be paid,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and that comes on our property bill. If you look
- 15:12Speaker 1: at your property tax bill you will see that part
- 15:16Speaker 1: of it, or not very much. But the Greater Los
- 15:20Speaker 1: Angeles County Vector Control District, I mean, all the counties
- 15:23Speaker 1: have them, and so they want more money right now
- 15:27Speaker 1: it's eighteen dollars. The Vector Control District wants another twenty
- 15:32Speaker 1: dollars on top of that added to your annual tax bill.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And so the district, for the third year in a row,
- 15:39Speaker 1: is releasing the sterilized male mosquitoes and they don't bite.
- 15:44Speaker 1: And what happens is the sterilized male mosquitoes mate with
- 15:49Speaker 1: the non sterilized female. I mean they stuck. However, mosquitoes
- 15:56Speaker 1: do their thing, I don't know, and that seems to
- 15:59Speaker 1: be the most preferred way, and it seems to be
- 16:05Speaker 1: the most effective way. These mosquitoes come from Africa, first
- 16:10Speaker 1: detected in California twenty thirteen, landed in La County twenty fourteen,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and what the district manager said, despite our best efforts,
- 16:20Speaker 1: they've been able to just outpace us, and they're now
- 16:22Speaker 1: in every city, every community within our district and trying
- 16:26Speaker 1: to find a solution, of course, hoping that the silver bullet,
- 16:31Speaker 1: which it can be. The idea is simple. You unleash
- 16:36Speaker 1: the sterile males so they far outnumber wild ones ten
- 16:40Speaker 1: to one, even one hundred one, and the goal is
- 16:44Speaker 1: for the males to mate with those females that produce eggs.
- 16:48Speaker 1: But they don't hatch. So how do they do it?
- 16:51Speaker 1: How do they sterilize these mosquitos. Well, at first they
- 16:58Speaker 1: were they took them toecialty veterinarians to try to spay them.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Very difficult to spay a mosquito a little tiny, tiny
- 17:08Speaker 1: instruments that are very difficult to deal with, and there's
- 17:12Speaker 1: a lot of them. So instead they take big batches
- 17:15Speaker 1: and they X ray them and that sterilizes them and
- 17:21Speaker 1: then they are released pursuant to that plan. And it's
- 17:26Speaker 1: it makes all the sense. It makes sense. I mean,
- 17:28Speaker 1: it's the only thing that seems to work. You can
- 17:30Speaker 1: spray for mosquitos. Do you remember when, And it wasn't
- 17:33Speaker 1: too long ago, and I remember this maybe ten years ago.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You'd see these trucks going down the street that would
- 17:42Speaker 1: spray on both sides of the street. A it would
- 17:48Speaker 1: turn out to be poison. It was anti pest control
- 17:55Speaker 1: stuff that would stick a little bit to your skin.
- 17:59Speaker 1: But it killed them mosquitoes. They killed the bugs. Well,
- 18:02Speaker 1: they don't do that anymore because it also I think
- 18:05Speaker 1: probably killed you or caused cancer or put you know
- 18:08Speaker 1: whatever it did. So they don't do that anymore now.
- 18:12Speaker 1: They simply sterilize all those males, which you know, it's
- 18:17Speaker 1: not a bad way to if you're gonna get yourself snipped.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Why just to go into an X ray machine? Well,
- 18:25Speaker 1: because you're gonna get cancer.
- 18:27Speaker 2: We used to use a service and we're we're just
- 18:30Speaker 2: talking last night of getting the service again called Mosquito Squad.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Have you heard of them. They're in Orange County, LA.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I think they're all individually operated and owned and all that.
- 18:40Speaker 2: But they come out and it worked for us very
- 18:44Speaker 2: very well.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and you can get any pest control company that
- 18:48Speaker 1: will do the same thing. But okay, if.
- 18:51Speaker 2: This was very specific, it wasn't, you know, because we
- 18:54Speaker 2: have pest control.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's not universal pest control unless you bring
- 19:00Speaker 1: out press control for your home. Because you're outside, you're shopping.
- 19:03Speaker 1: These mosquitoes are flying around and they can literally reproduce
- 19:08Speaker 1: or produce in water in a bottle cap. Not there are,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but not that there.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Are body No, Absolutely, the people think it's big bodies
- 19:19Speaker 2: of water.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It's not. No, I need exactly. And so so the
- 19:23Speaker 1: bottom line, if you get bit by one of these,
- 19:25Speaker 1: you're going to die. Coming up another you're gonna die story.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Oh this is really great stuff today. And this is
- 19:32Speaker 1: very exciting about when you go to the hospital's hospital
- 19:35Speaker 1: you're not getting out. I want, I just want to
- 19:39Speaker 1: make you feel really good this morning. Yeh fie, I
- 19:41Speaker 1: am a six forty bill handle here Monday morning, March
- 19:45Speaker 1: twenty third. All right, going to the hospital. There's no
- 19:49Speaker 1: fun now because well there aren't enough nurses, there aren't
- 19:52Speaker 1: enough people, and it's going to get worse by the day.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Over the past year, hospitals have had thousands of layoffs,
- 20:01Speaker 1: some hospitals pushed into serious financial straits because of billions
- 20:07Speaker 1: of dollars in federal and state funding that is no
- 20:09Speaker 1: longer there, and hospital executives are expecting a second wave
- 20:13Speaker 1: of layoffs because the federal government continues to close funding
- 20:19Speaker 1: for healthcare programs in phases over the next several years.
- 20:24Speaker 1: And the cuts have squeezed patient rolls of undocumented immigrants
- 20:29Speaker 1: and restricted healthcare services for the poor. So if you're
- 20:32Speaker 1: rich and you could afford insurance, oh that's the other thing.
- 20:35Speaker 1: How many people can afford insurance with insurance costs today?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Thank you? And it's all according to the executives of
- 20:42Speaker 1: these hospitals say the catalyst is the passage of the
- 20:45Speaker 1: One Big Beautiful Act sign into law last summer, and
- 20:51Speaker 1: hospital executives at this point are taking a wait and
- 20:54Speaker 1: see to pass judgments on the cuts, because well, I
- 20:58Speaker 1: don't want to offend the administration. Now you offend the President,
- 21:04Speaker 1: and the DOJ is looking at you, the FBI is
- 21:07Speaker 1: looking at you. I mean, that's just simply the way
- 21:08Speaker 1: it works. And the largest funding reduction is going to
- 21:14Speaker 1: be nearly a trillion dollars for Medicaid over the next decade.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And that's the largest reduction in the entire sixty year
- 21:22Speaker 1: history of Medicaid and medical which is our version, California's
- 21:27Speaker 1: version of a medicaid program. What it does is provide
- 21:30Speaker 1: free or low cost coverage to low income resident It
- 21:34Speaker 1: is not only tough to be poor in the United States,
- 21:38Speaker 1: especially in southern California, because the cost of living here
- 21:41Speaker 1: is so insanely high. It is not only tough to
- 21:44Speaker 1: be poor, it's going to be way tougher to be poor.
- 21:49Speaker 1: So I think the only we have a couple of
- 21:52Speaker 1: choices here, and that is we continue on with social
- 21:57Speaker 1: programs not being important to an administration or if a
- 22:01Speaker 1: Democrat is involved, social programs are very important. The other
- 22:07Speaker 1: way that I think would work is to simply make
- 22:11Speaker 1: poverty illegal, where laws are passed, particularly in the state,
- 22:17Speaker 1: that you can't be poor. That works. Then there are
- 22:21Speaker 1: no poor people because if they are poor, they violate
- 22:24Speaker 1: the law. See how that works. The numbers of layoffs
- 22:28Speaker 1: have been relatively small as of right now. I mean,
- 22:32Speaker 1: just you know, for example, a city of Hope has
- 22:36Speaker 1: fifteen thousand people and announced two hundred layoffs. No, nothing
- 22:42Speaker 1: except that number is going to grow and grow and
- 22:45Speaker 1: grow the impact of these cuts hasn't really hit us yet.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Hospital executives say that what's going on is hospitals are
