- 0:20SPEAKER_00: A world made of delicious,
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: sparkly peanut butter and an adorable disco ball of self-reflection is whirling
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: around in her transforming convertible.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Bang.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Yay.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Thanks for joining me in my 39th episode where I'll be sharing my answer to last
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: week's question of the week,
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: a word replacement for meditation,
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: a party of one,
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: why you're not lost,
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: you're conditioned,
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: how to get yourself to take more risks,
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: why suppression is a disease,
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: a perspective dance with commitment issues,
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: a new affirmation,
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: a trick to stay present,
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: and so much more.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And as always,
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: a brand new question for all of us to self-reflect and self-connect and email me if
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: you desire.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: SelfFriendshipPodcast at gmail.com.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: My answer to last week's question of the week,
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: which was,
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: what's a recent experience where you were willing to upgrade?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: You might still be in the process because we always are.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: In episode 36,
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I shared with you my little magic trick,
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: my willingness to upgrade,
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: leading up to and receiving my new home,
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: my magical villa on the exact street I wanted with all of my non-negotiables.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Right on time.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Now,
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: the willingness to upgrade in this circumstance is that as perfect as this all is,
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: thank you,
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: there's always challenges that I need to be willing to do the work for to earn my
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: next upgrade.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: An important note to bear in mind is that upgrades are not necessarily linear.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: It's not precisely that my next upgrade is another new home.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: We are multidimensional humans with multidimensional lives.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: While this upgrade is focused on my home environment, this influences the other dimensions of my life.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Here's the beauty I'm sensing.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: For me, my own home is absolutely sacred.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: There's nothing I love more than being in my own energy and building planet butter.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I've been in and out of my own homes as well as shared spaces for a few years now.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: There's something particularly special about this home though, the energy of it.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: It's another beautiful invitation from the universe to upgrade Planet Butter.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: My world, my home, my space for my energy to be free and expansive.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter is getting its well fucking earned upgrade.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: I have happy tears that came out as I wrote that.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: This is always what freaking happens.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Every time I talk about Planet Butter's growth or visualize my future,
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: I just cry tears of joy because I know how freaking hard I work and how freaking
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: excited I am for everything I'm consciously creating for myself while I hopefully
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: inspire you to do the same for your world.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: My Planet Butter jet PBJ is here.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: And I'm so excited to have you for a long, for the ride English.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: It's really hot guys.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I'm wearing a long sleeve because I just bought this and it's really, really cute.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to wear it.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: So I did.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: I bought it in honor of the podcast being on camera.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Now you get to see it here.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Yay.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: A word replacement for meditation.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Oh no, wait.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: First, a new rewind, a new affirmation.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: I recently learned it's a well-known fact that 90% of our thoughts are repeated per day.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: So I bet that if we make one of those thoughts,
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: the thought that we'll have new thoughts,
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: then subconsciously we'll teach ourselves to think differently and invite new thoughts.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: The new affirmation is today I invite new thoughts.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: Today I invite new thoughts.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Now a word replacement for meditation.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: I love food and I also think the phrase meditating has become a bit abused and the
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: connotations have spiraled.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So I want to offer that we can say marinating instead of meditating.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: To marinate is to soak in.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: We're soaking in our own energy and presence.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Now a loving self-friendship tip.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: You know how we're supposed to sit still when we marinate?
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Sometimes that can be tough and we end up fidgeting or scratching an itch when I
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: feel the urge to move or fidget,
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: which is often because I kiss my hands or I blow a kiss into the air.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Like if I'm just like, if I move something, I'm like...
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Like that's it to send a little love to myself for moving when I'm not supposed to,
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: instead of judging or criticizing myself for moving during my session,
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: I choose to express love.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: It's kind of funny because I'm actually moving even more by doing this,
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: but I'd rather move with a gesture of self love than just trying to stop my
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: fidgeting without any expression of affection.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's a love language thing, but it might work for you too.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Now,
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: one of the ways the uni works,
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: a funny thing to remember about the way the universe works is that we need to
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: simultaneously show that we want something while not attaching to it.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: So we basically need to be like, okay, uni, I want this, but if not, that's cool.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: It's always about indifference,
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: neutrality,
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: and centeredness in ourselves for what's in our best interest.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: So if there's something I want,
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: I always say, I want this or better, or I want this or what's best for me.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: And then the uni can do its magic.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And I am grateful.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Ta-da!
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Now, a party of one as a loving reminder.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Party of one means having fun with oneself, for oneself, as oneself.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Anywhere, everywhere.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: no matter who is there.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Each episode,
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: I share little tidbits from my life that happened thanks to me showing up in the
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: world as my party of one.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: I went for a long, beautiful beach walk the other day and get this.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: It's actually fucking crazy.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: I walked about a mile in one direction and stumbled upon a beautiful, small metallic silver dead fish.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: A disco fish of self-reflection.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: I was so excited to make that joke.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: I was admiring it and didn't feel totally comfy to touch it yet.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: So I started to try to put it on my flip-flops so that I could gently put him back in the ocean.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: I don't really know.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: It just felt like the right thing to do.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: I didn't want to leave him on the sand.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: And then suddenly this man comes over and says, so cute, right?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Just pick it up.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: And I was like, yeah, like, yeah, it is cute.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: But then I was a little confused because then the dude suddenly bends down,
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: grabs the fish and chucks it into the ocean.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: And then he continued to walk.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: And all I could bring myself to say was that wasn't even a good throw.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: And as he continues to walk away, he yells back, it's dead anyway.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: I was floored.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: So I stood there and talked at the ocean to the dead fish and said,
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: hey fishy,
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: I'm so sorry for that dude's behavior.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I hope you're okay.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: And then I turned and walked another mile or two in the other direction when I
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: stumbled upon yet again,
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: another disco fish of self-reflection.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Insane.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: The same exact type of fish dead on the sand a mile the other direction.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Yet again, I bend down to appreciate the beauty of this fish.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Mind you, ow.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Hang on.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Hair.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Human.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Mind you,
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: this was a fairly busy beach,
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: and somehow nobody else seemed to notice or care about this little fishy.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: But also, I really felt like it was meant for me, so nobody else was attracted to it, you know?
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: Anyway, this time, I pick him up.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: I was very proud of myself.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Slimy and beautiful.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: I was honestly giggling the entire time because I was so amazed that I just crossed
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: paths with two of these little babies.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: And I gently put him in the wave that came up near us.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: But the wave wasn't strong enough.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: to pull him back into the water.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So he ended up just in another part of the sand.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: And I laughed so hard.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: I felt so bad.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: I had to go pick him up again.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: And then I did, I did something I'm not entirely proud of.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: I'm having a raging giggling fest by myself with this dead fish, having to pick him up a second time.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: And then I tossed him.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: I did like an underhand toss, okay, to ensure that he went far enough into the water.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: I felt absolutely ridiculous and not entirely morally sound,
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: but I think because the other guy did a bad overhand throw and I just witnessed it,
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: it was a little bit of like a monkey see,
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: monkey do type of thing.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: And my hands were full and my bag was half open.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: I was a bit of a mess and I just didn't really strategize the second attempt.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Although it worked.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: I turn around to discover a mother and her two children are staring at me,
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: having my situation with this dead fish.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: Which just made me laugh a million times harder.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: They did not join.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: Party of one.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: P.S.,
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: After exchanging eye contact with this family,
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: I look down at my half-open bag and see one of my shoes is missing.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: I turn around, and as I'm turning, my flip-flop is washed back up to shore right on cue.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: That's good karma.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: So I must have done something morally sound.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: P.P.S.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: I later discussed with ChatGPT the implications of these magical encounters.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: I learned the type of fish was a silver moony, a.k.a.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Monodactylus argentius.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: And the symbolism we derive from this experience is that this is a powerful time of
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: completing a certain phase of my life,
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: which circles me back to my answer to last week's question.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Lana Butter is about to upgrade.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: Watch with me.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: I've always been really good at making a long story long.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Self-friendship article snippet.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: Are you willing to upgrade from August 20th, 2024?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: There are perfect circumstances because perfection is solely attributed to our
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: subjective perspective of our personal ideals.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: Our ideal circumstances are a valuable excuse for hope.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Hope when recognized as a tool for fueling our intentions,
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: which I believe to be equivalent to our motivations.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: can strengthen our determination to show up for ourselves when our ideal circumstances inevitably arise.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: With clarity of our intentions,
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: we often form an emotional bond with our ideal circumstances to result from these intentions,
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: an element of our determination.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: That is,
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: we become determined to experience or receive something that is aligned with our
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: intentions slash motivations.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: and we attract it through our thoughts, feelings, and actions.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: The circumstances we attract become moments where action is invited.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: While the circumstances aren't necessarily our exact ideal,
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: as per our emotional bond we cultivated leading up to the given circumstance,
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: they are perfect in that they offer key elements of our ideal,
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: ultimately inviting us to take action both in alignment with and despite
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: our emotional bond to our original ideal.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: When we activate the three core methods of self-friendship,
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: boundaries,
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: confidence,
- 12:46SPEAKER_00: alignment,
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: we are grounded in empowerment,
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: which means we can show up for ourselves following through with our desires in the
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: circumstances provided and transcending the challenges,
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: understanding that we are embodying the willingness to upgrade.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Now you're not lost.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: You're conditioned.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: Welcome to society.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: It's so hot guys.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: Sweaty girl.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Very cute.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: You're not lost.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: You're conditioned.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Welcome to society.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: If you feel lost, go look in the mirror.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: Say, there you are.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: And then self-reflect,
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: self-connect,
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: and practice embracing,
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: and enjoying yourself,
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: self-friendship.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: And then you can better recognize what's yours,
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: what's not yours,
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: what feels true to you,
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: what have you been conditioned with.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: and then marinate on that and respond in accordance with your determination to
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: upgrade by honoring your boundaries,
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: becoming more confident and falling more into alignment with the person you want to be.
- 14:07Yay.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Now, how to get yourself to take more risks.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: A perspective dance in disguise.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: When we take action grounded in honoring our boundaries,
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: which empowers us to become more confident,
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: which upgrades us to be more in alignment with who we want to be,
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: whatever the action is,
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: is not a risk.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: It'll appear to be a risk to the untrained eyes and outsiders.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: But when we honor the three core methods, it's impossible.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: Yes, impossible.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: for the risk to not work out in upgrading us in our own self-friendship practice,
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: our conscious creativity of our individual world.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: It's not a risk when you're betting on yourself and self-friendship is your first priority.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Every risk we take in honor of the three core methods is a recipe for learning and upgrading ourselves.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: It's a victorious cycle.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: I love that one.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: A healthy reminder.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: You ever struggle with something and then try again later and find it flows way more naturally?
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: That's a sign things are happening in their own time when they're meant to.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: If it's not flowing, don't force it.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: This doesn't mean things won't be challenging.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: They will be.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: when they're flowing, I'm saying.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Just because they're flow doesn't mean it's not sometimes challenging.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: The difference is that you'll be prepared to face these challenges so the process will feel more natural.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: Again, these are the perfect circumstances and the challenges are our invitation to upgrade.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: Are you guys catching on?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: All right, a note on suppression.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: Suppression is a disease and I think it would benefit society to start acting like it.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Disease is defined as a particular quality,
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: habit or disposition regarded as adversely affecting a person or group of people.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Suppression is defined as preventing the development, action or expression of.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Suppression is a particular quality, habit, and disposition that is adversely affecting a lot of people.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Therefore, suppression is a disease.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: So friendship is the preventative and the cure.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: When we embrace,
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: understand,
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: and enjoy ourselves,
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: we don't need to suppress anything because we create a safe space within ourselves
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: to embrace every part of ourselves
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Understand those parts and enjoy them.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: A note on opinions.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: A lot of people just echo each other's opinions.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Bunch of parrots.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Don't be a parrot, guys.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Practice critical thinking and conscious creativity.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: self-friendship.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Don't be a parrot, be a planet.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Your planet.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Nothing is cooler than being grounded in ourselves and having a humble opinion.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Humble-aridant is a Blizzard's dictionary word from the Planet Butter publication.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Links in the show notes.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: Humble-aridant means someone who is equal parts modest, self-aware, and confident.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Now a perspective dance with commitment issues.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: You don't have commitment issues.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: You're committed to freedom and flexibility.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Run with that one.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Now a trick to staying present.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Sing a song in a bad tune about what you're doing while you're doing it.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Like sometimes I'll literally just be like, okay, I'm going to turn off the lights because it's bedtime.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Present.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: Now, another new affirmation.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: I am grounded.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: I am expansive.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: I am tapping into my magic.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: I am grounded.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: I am expansive.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: I am tapping into my magic.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: Now, real life united individualism, which is Planet Butter's mission, if you don't already know.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Independent.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Together.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: When I do my sauna and ice bath, I have very specific breathing techniques I use in each.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: We're only going to focus on the sauna, though, for today.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: In the sauna, I inhale for three seconds.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: And then I hold at the top for nine seconds.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: And then I exhale for six.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: Three more.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: My old villa manager taught me that one and I love it.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: It requires my focus and makes me feel relaxed.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: The other day when I left the sauna,
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: this guy came up to me and said,
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: hey miss,
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: your breathing was really calming to hear in the sauna.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh my God, that's so cool.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for telling me.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: So cute.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: See, independent together.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter's mission, united individualism.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: I was breathing for myself,
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: And it benefited someone else doing their own thing.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Very cool.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Now a perspective dance with one trip.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: I love this one.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: It's been very powerful for me.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: So you know how a lot of us have bonded over bringing the groceries inside the
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: house in one trip or just doing any form of something similar to that in one trip?
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: I used to be one of those people.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Until very recently,
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: I almost dropped my computer and I finally asked myself,
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: and I mean really asked myself,
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: why not make two or more trips?
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And I did not have a high quality answer that satisfied the person who I want to become.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: I'm happy to announce I now make two or more trips.
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: A wise woman, me,
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Once said, so much to do, so much time.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Now I get to have two or more adventures to and from wherever I'm migrating my things.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: How fun.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Each adventure is a new experience and it's really amazing the positive influence
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: it has had on my mind and body.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Those moments used to be physically and mentally stressful trying to hold all those things in one place.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: It's like...
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: It's those little things that get overlooked in reducing stress levels and improving mental clarity.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm here to remind you of.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: The nuances.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: A note on women.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: Since you viewers are predominantly men, hello, gentlemen.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: I wanted to take this opportunity to provide a way to improve your self-friendship
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: practice in relation to women's menstrual cycles.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: And don't you even dare think about stopping listening.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: This is very important to your sex life, quite frankly.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: if you like women.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: All right,
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: let's remember that period just means the period of time during a 27 day cycle that
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: a woman's body bleeds.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: The rest of the 27 days is also part of their menstrual cycle.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: It's a perpetual cycle.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Women are emotionally chaotic because our hormones constantly change,
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: directly influencing our mind,
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: body,
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: and emotions.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: And that's not even taking into consideration all of the very relevant stuff
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: happening in our external daily lives and the universe at large.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Regardless of whether you're into astrology or not,
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: I've said on episode 33 that we can accept the truth of astrology without
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: understanding it.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: I don't understand it, but I think it's phenomenally interesting.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: We are part of the universe.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: We have the cognition to identify all that stuff.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: just trust.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: So what does this have to do with your self-friendship practice?
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: If you're romantically interested in women,
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: then the best thing you can do is to embrace,
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: understand,
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: and enjoy yourself.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: So you can create a warm, loving, safe, and most importantly, fun space in your romantic relationships.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: A healthy masculine man practices self-friendship and makes his woman a
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Who also must practice self-friendship.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Let me emphasize that.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Women must also practice self-friendship to reap the benefits of this healthy
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: masculine man practicing self-friendship.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: Okay, guys.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: So a healthy masculine man must make her feel like she can be her biologically chaotic self.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: Safely.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: And ideally,
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: together,
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: you can make fun of the inevitable chaos,
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: not take any of it personally,
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: and optimize these moments for creating more love.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: Yay.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Now, the question of the week.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Does this risk look cool to me on paper?
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: You might not even be able to answer that yet,
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: but I'm going to dig more into this question and what I mean by it on next week's episode.
- 23:57Yay.
