- 0:00Chapter 14 from the book of Isaiah.
- 0:03First, let's pray. Dear God, thank you for giving
- 0:06us our lives. Without you, we would not be
- 0:09here. So we are completely indebted to
- 0:13you forever for that. And thank you also for the plans
- 0:17that you have in the future for us.
- 0:20Thank you for this day. We know that we should never
- 0:23take any day for granted and that we need to make the most of
- 0:27us, the most of every day that we have.
- 0:30Please guide us this day and every day hereafter to do your
- 0:35will so that you will be pleased with what we are doing, with
- 0:40what you've given us. Forgive us our sins as we
- 0:44forgive others and protect us from the evil. 1 And give us
- 0:50wisdom so that we may apply the knowledge that we receive
- 0:54through our Bible studies. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
- 1:00So chapter 14, the Lord will have compassion on Jacob once
- 1:05again. He will choose Israel.
- 1:08So Israel has always been God's elect, God's chosen people.
- 1:12He made that clear from the beginning.
- 1:14It's not favoritism, he just he just chose them to be the his
- 1:20people and to be the, the, the found the core, basically the
- 1:28the area of his future Kingdom, the boundaries of his Kingdom.
- 1:33So and so it says the Lord will have compassion on Jacob, which
- 1:37also means Israel. Once again, He will choose
- 1:40Israel and will settle them in their own land.
- 1:44So Israel will always have their land.
- 1:46They are not going to be dispersed.
- 1:48Well, they have been dispersed over the years, but they will
- 1:52always return to the land because God has promised that.
- 1:56And when God says something's going to happen, it will happen.
- 1:59So Israel will always remain in the land that they are today.
- 2:05And if we listen to Bible prophecy, it's going to actually
- 2:08expand. Where do you hear God's bigger
- 2:11plans for Israel? Foreigners will join them and
- 2:16unite with the descendants of Jacob.
- 2:19So the people of Israel, foreigners will join and unite
- 2:23with the descendants of Jacob. Nations will take them and bring
- 2:28them to their own place. And Israel listen to this.
- 2:33And Israel will take possession of the nations and make them
- 2:37male and female servants in the Lord's land.
- 2:42So everything is going to turn around.
- 2:45Israel is seems to be throughout history always targeted for
- 2:52capturing actually, you know, they, they were going into the
- 2:55land of Canaan, which God told them this is the land I'm giving
- 2:58to you. So they were pursuing that.
- 3:00But then over time, they didn't always follow through with God.
- 3:04And so then God allowed their enemies or their adversaries to
- 3:10take them captive, to plunder, to do all sorts of things
- 3:14throughout history. And so everything's been
- 3:17ultimately surrounding Israel and what happens with them.
- 3:22But here, this is Bible prophecy from Isaiah written 700 BC, so
- 3:28almost 2700 or a little bit more than 2700 years ago.
- 3:32And Israel will take possession of the nations and make them
- 3:37male and female servants in the Lord's land.
- 3:41I don't think this has ever happened before, so this is
- 3:44definitely future prophecy. They will make captives of their
- 3:49captors and rule over their oppressors.
- 3:53So this is the plan that God has for Israel, not what anyone else
- 3:58has decided. Not a leader.
- 4:00A leader hasn't decided this. This is God's decision.
- 4:03So if God says it, it's going to happen.
- 4:07And we don't know when it's going.
- 4:09Well, we do know when it's going to happen.
- 4:10We know when Jesus returns is when it's going to happen.
- 4:14But this is God spoken and he's going to do it.
- 4:19So all the people who are crafting up plans to get rid of
- 4:25Israel, it's not going to work because ultimately you're
- 4:29fighting against God and God is sovereign over everything.
- 4:33So no plans are going to change what He has in store.
- 4:39It continues on in verse 3. On that day, on the day the Lord
- 4:44gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from
- 4:48the harsh labor forced on you, you will take up this taunt
- 4:53against the king of Babylon. So at some point, God's going to
- 4:58give Israel relief from their suffering and turmoil and harsh
- 5:04labor forced on them, and they will taunt the king of Babylon.
- 5:10Now, this certainly has a lot deeper meaning and more meaning
- 5:16than the surface level. This is again something that was
- 5:19partially fulfilled, but not completely fulfilled.
- 5:23So it was perhaps a foreshadowing of future events
- 5:27and whether these things are metaphorical or if they actually
- 5:34will mean like another person from the Babylon area or the
- 5:39Mesopotamia area, if that is what this is referring to, in
- 5:45addition to what it referred to from the past, Babylon and then
- 5:50Assyria. But it it's certainly as we read
- 5:53through this chapter, you will see that this means way more
- 5:57than human beings here on earth from Babylon.
- 6:01It it's way beyond that. So it says how the oppressor has
- 6:08come to an end, how his fury has ended.
- 6:12The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked, the sceptre of the
- 6:17rulers, which in anger struck down peoples with unceasing
- 6:21blows, and in fury subdued nations with relentless
- 6:27aggression. All the lands are at rest and at
- 6:31peace. They break into singing.
- 6:34Even the junipers and the Cedars of Lebanon gloat over you and
- 6:37say, now that you have been laid low, no one comes to cut us
- 6:42down. The realm of the dead below is
- 6:47all a stir to meet you at your coming.
- 6:51It rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you, all those
- 6:55who were leaders in the world. It makes them rise from their
- 7:00Thrones all those who were kings over the nations.
- 7:05They will all respond. They will say to you, You also
- 7:09have become weak as we are, and you have become like us.
- 7:16All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with
- 7:21the noise of your harps. Maggots are spread out beneath
- 7:27you and worms over you. How you have fallen from heaven.
- 7:33Morning Star, son of the dawn, you have been cast down to
- 7:39earth. You once laid low the nations.
- 7:44You said in your heart, I will ascend to the heavens.
- 7:47I will raise my throne above the stars of God.
- 7:51I will sit enthroned on the Mount of Assembly, on the utmost
- 7:57heights of Mount Zaffron. I will ascend above the tops of
- 8:02the clouds. I will make myself like the Most
- 8:06High. But you are brought down to the
- 8:10realm of the dead, to the depth of the pit.
- 8:13Those who see you stare at you. They ponder your fate.
- 8:18Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble?
- 8:24The man who made the world a wilderness, who overthrew its
- 8:29cities and would not let his captives go home?
- 8:35All the kings of the nation lie in state, each in his own tomb.
- 8:42But you are cast out of your tomb like a rejected branch.
- 8:48You are covered with the slain, and with those pierced by the
- 8:53sword, those who descend to the stones of the pit like a corpse
- 9:00trampled under foot. You will not join them in
- 9:03burial, for you have been for you have destroyed your land and
- 9:09killed your people. Let the offspring of the wicked
- 9:14never be mentioned again. Prepare a place to slaughter his
- 9:19children for the sins of their ancestors.
- 9:22They are not to rise to inherit the land and cover the earth
- 9:26with their cities. I will rise up against them,
- 9:30declares the Lord Almighty. I will wipe out Babylon's name
- 9:36and survivors, her, her offspring and descendants,
- 9:43declares the Lord. I will turn her into a place for
- 9:48owls and into swampland. I will sweep her with the broom
- 9:53of destruction, declares the Lord Almighty.
- 9:56The Lord Almighty has sworn. Surely, I surely, as I have
- 10:01planned, so it will be. As I have purposed, so it will
- 10:07happen. I will crush the Assyrian in my
- 10:12land, on my mountains. I will trample him down.
- 10:17His yoke will be taken from my people and his burden removed
- 10:22from their shoulders. This is the plan determined for
- 10:27the whole world. This is the hand stretched out
- 10:32over all nations, for the Lord Almighty has purposed, and who
- 10:37can thwart him? His hand is stretched out, and
- 10:41who can turn it back? This prophecy came in the year
- 10:45King Ahaz died. Do not rejoice, all you
- 10:49Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken.
- 10:53From the root of that snake will spring up a Viper.
- 10:58Its fruit will be a darting, venomous serpent.
- 11:03The poorest of the poor will find pasture, and the needy will
- 11:07lie down in safety. But your route I will destroy by
- 11:13famine. It will slay your survivors.
- 11:17Wail you gate, howl you city, melt away all you Philistines.
- 11:25A cloud of smoke comes from the north, and there is not a
- 11:30straggler in its ranks. What answers shall be given to
- 11:34the envoys of that nation? The Lord has established Zion,
- 11:40and in her His afflicted people will find refuge.
- 11:44That's the end of chapter 14. I will read the questions and
- 11:50answers for chapter 14 and then get into the things that I saw
- 11:54when I read this. So when will this second exodus
- 11:58occur? This prophecy points to the
- 12:00return of the Jews from exile in Babylon in 538 BC.
- 12:04The Lord moved the heart of Persia's king Cyrus, who
- 12:08conquered Babylon in 539 BC, to allow them to return to
- 12:13Jerusalem and rebuild the temple.
- 12:16There are, however, elements of this prophecy that were not
- 12:21fulfilled at that time, especially in the picture of
- 12:26God's people ruling over their oppressors.
- 12:29No doubt the return from Babylon foreshadows God's ultimate
- 12:34future purpose for His people. Who is the king of Babylon?
- 12:39This surely does not refer to Nabenalius, Nabenitis, Nabenitis
- 12:47or his son Belshazzar Babylon's last two ineffective kings, but
- 12:54to the entire dynasty. And just as in Ezekiel 28, where
- 13:00the fall of the king of Tyre is discussed, the language is much
- 13:05too sweeping to be talking about only one human being.
- 13:10Isaiah seemed to be personifying not only Babylon's monarchs but
- 13:16also the empire as a whole, as one of a series of God defying
- 13:21world powers that met its doom when its day of judgement came.
- 13:27Why taunt A defeated foe? It is the cry of justice.
- 13:33Before God's people could be revived as a nation, Babylon had
- 13:38to be defeated. Through the prophet's voice, God
- 13:44was laughing at Babylon's pride and false security.
- 13:51What did God show Isaiah about his plan for the Gentiles?
- 13:56In the exodus from Egypt, the Israelites welcomed people from
- 14:00other nations who joined them in their faith.
- 14:03A prominent theme in Isaiah is that the future of the Gentiles
- 14:07will join the Israelites in mass.
- 14:09The theme is first mentioned in Isaiah chapter 2 in Isaiah's
- 14:14prophecy of the last days, in which the mountain of the Lord's
- 14:17Temple will be established as the highest of the mountains.
- 14:21It will be exalted above the hills, and all the nations will
- 14:25stream to it. So this is pretty much talking
- 14:27about the Third Temple. The foreigners streaming to this
- 14:32holy mountain will result in God's temple or house being
- 14:36called a House of prayer for all nations.
- 14:41If you pay attention to what's going on in the Temple Institute
- 14:45and how they refer to this third temple, this is the temple for
- 14:49all nations. OK, Going back, the nations,
- 14:53even their kings, will be drawn to the glorious light of Zion.
- 14:58The true drawing power will be the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
- 15:04In that day, the root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the
- 15:08peoples. The nations will rally to him.
- 15:13And it says, why should children pay for the sins of their
- 15:15ancestors? What any generation does affects
- 15:19the following generations. If one generation promotes sin
- 15:23and disobedience, the next generation usually fall into the
- 15:28same pattern. If one generation bankrupts a
- 15:31nation by irresponsible financial practices, the next
- 15:35generation will pay for it. If one generation gets a country
- 15:39into war, the next generation may well pay the price in
- 15:44lasting suffering. Who is Isaiah prophesying
- 15:49against? Isaiah is giving a specific
- 15:52example of future destruction of Babylon, namely the coming
- 15:56downfall of Assyria. The fact that there is no
- 16:00introductory formula gives us a clue that verses 24 through 27
- 16:05do not comprise a separate prophecy against Assyria, but
- 16:10should be read as a conclusion to the Babylon prophecy.
- 16:14Assyria represents all the Mesopotamian powers included
- 16:20under the head Babylon, which have exalted themselves to the
- 16:25heights and must therefore eventually go down to the pit.
- 16:30How would God crush the Assyrian in his land?
- 16:34This likely refers to the destruction of Senate Cherubs
- 16:37army during the Assyrian invasion in Judah in Seven O
- 16:42One. Such a promise must have given
- 16:45much hope to Judah during Isaiah's ministry.
- 16:48However, the final 2 verses of the whole section place the
- 16:53specific promises of verses 24 through 25 with the wider
- 17:00context of God's purpose for the whole world.
- 17:04All nations will have to submit to His judgement.
- 17:07This principle will be seen in relation to other nations, both
- 17:11small and great, in the prophecies that follow.
- 17:15What kind of prophecy is this the Hebrew for?
- 17:18The Hebrew for the word prophecy here is related to a verb
- 17:23meaning to lift up, carry, and it is possible, possibly to be
- 17:29understood as either lifting up one's voice or carrying a
- 17:33burden. Such a prophecy often brings
- 17:37unwelcome news or judgment. Why did the Philistines rejoice?
- 17:42They rejoice because the rod that had struck them, King
- 17:46Sargon the Second of Assyria, had died, ushering in a time of
- 17:51temporary Assyrian weakness. Some think the Viper probably
- 17:56refers to Sargon 2's son, Sena Cherub, who quickly ended the
- 18:03Philistines rejoicing. What was this cloud of smoke
- 18:08coming from the north? This likely refers to the dust
- 18:11raised by the marching feet and the Chariots of the Assyrians
- 18:15who always invaded Canaan from the north.
- 18:19Perhaps this terrifying image also pictures clouds of smoke
- 18:23billowing high into the sky from the burning of conquered
- 18:27Philistine cities. So that is the questions and
- 18:32answers from the study Bible. However, as I was reading this,
- 18:36I was I several different verses are parts of scripture and you
- 18:44know, Scripture always interprets scripture.
- 18:47So I did look up all of these different scriptures that came
- 18:51to mind as I was reading. So I will review them starting
- 18:56at the beginning of chapter 14. And it says about nations will
- 19:02take them and bring them to their own place.
- 19:06So there is a there are a few prophecies that we'll have to
- 19:10read in context with one another.
- 19:13And let's talk about Edom. OK, Actually let's first go to
- 19:22Ezekiel. And I think I might have done
- 19:26the wrong. Oh no, I did the right one.
- 19:29OK, Ezekiel. And I guess it's 17.
- 19:35No. OK, so in Ezekiel 17 it talks
- 19:41about these two eagles and a vine.
- 19:44And so when you read this parable, you will understand
- 19:49that Egypt and Babylon are the 2 great eagles.
- 19:54So that is revealed it it goes through a story about what
- 19:58happens to these people, these parables, and it says that it
- 20:05gives you the names of Egypt and Babylon later on.
- 20:10So it's the whole chapter. I don't know if I should read
- 20:14this or just. If you want to read it, read
- 20:17chapter 17 of Ezekiel because it talks about Egypt and Babylon
- 20:21being the great eagles. Or just go to an electric
- 20:24electronic digital Bible and search great eagle and then go
- 20:29to the verses that reference it. I think in the NIV form format
- 20:36of the Bible or translation of the Bible you if you hit great
- 20:40eagle there will probably be like 3 different entries that
- 20:43come up. But when you read those then you
- 20:45will see like who is this great eagle?
- 20:47Because when I read this nations will take them and bring them to
- 20:50their own place. I thought about Revelation 12
- 20:55verse 14 that says the woman was given the the two wings of a
- 21:01great eagle so that she might fly to the place prepared for
- 21:06her in the wilderness where she would be taken care of for time
- 21:11times and half a time out of the serpent's reach.
- 21:16Now this has so much in it. So the woman this is from
- 21:21Revelation is represents Israel and was given the two wings of a
- 21:27great eagle. So I had to look up great eagle
- 21:31to say like, what is the great eagle?
- 21:34And it's somewhere where she goes for safety.
- 21:37And if you go to Obadiah chapter 1, it talks about it.
- 21:47It compares Edom to a great eagle.
- 21:50So I will read Obadiah's vision, the vision of Obadiah.
- 21:55This is what the sovereign Lord says about Edom.
- 21:58So Edom is modern day Jordan. We have heard a message from the
- 22:03Lord. An envoy was sent to the nation
- 22:06saying, Rise, let us go against her for battle.
- 22:11See, I will make you small among the nations.
- 22:14You will be utterly despised. The pride of your heart has
- 22:17deceived you. You who live in the clefts of
- 22:20the rocks and make your home on the heights.
- 22:23You who say to yourself, Who can bring me down to the ground,
- 22:27though you soar like an eagle and make your nest among the
- 22:33stars from there I will bring you down declares the Lord.
- 22:38So in this vision Edom is compared to like an eagle.
- 22:45So this is could potentially this is a theory I guess that
- 22:52nations will take them and bring them to their own place.
- 22:56So perhaps when this part of Revelation where the the woman
- 23:03was given the two wings of a great eagle so that she might
- 23:07fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness where she
- 23:11would be taken care of for a time times and half a time out
- 23:15of the serpent's reach. We'll have to read a little bit
- 23:18more. And there's there's more to come
- 23:21as we get deeper where I will be reading the whole chapter 12 for
- 23:25Revelation because that'll put it in context.
- 23:27But basically, to me, it came to mind that Israel's going to be
- 23:32taken care of, are sheltered perhaps by Jordan during the
- 23:37time that, oh gosh, Satan, the Antichrist, whatever you want to
- 23:46call him is or maybe they're combined into one is ruling on
- 23:54this not really ruling, but it's just venting his fury is really
- 23:58what it is. He's venting his fury.
- 24:00And we'll get more into that when that happens.
- 24:03God provides a shelter for Israel.
- 24:07So then the next thing that came to mind, So this this king of
- 24:11Babylon, I believe it, it did mean the king of Babylon.
- 24:15And as the study guide said, it meant like the whole monarchy.
- 24:19But I believe it's even deeper than that.
- 24:22In the book of Enoch it talks about, which is not non
- 24:27canonical, but it gives us some insight and the Bible supports
- 24:33it in various things. Especially when you get into
- 24:36Ephesians chapter 6 where it says we wrestle not against
- 24:39flesh and blood, but against the spiritual realm and the powers,
- 24:44the principalities and the powers and darkness.
- 24:48So it gives you all of I need to memorize that first and I don't
- 24:51have it memorized. I might go to it so I can read
- 24:55it and not stumble over it. I'm going to look that up right
- 24:59now. Now it's AI know it's chapter 6
- 25:06but I can't remember it might be 12 or something.
- 25:10Yes, Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12.
- 25:13For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the
- 25:17rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this Dark
- 25:23World and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly
- 25:31realms. So when we have an issue with
- 25:35another person, we have to look beyond that.
- 25:38That's this is how forgiveness starts to work, how it's
- 25:43possible with people. Because what you have to do is
- 25:46see beyond the person that is acting after, in my opinion,
- 25:53being influenced by an evil spiritual force.
- 25:58They, that person has not submitted or surrendered to God.
- 26:03Therefore this evil force has access to them and they do what
- 26:11their master, the evil master, wants them to do.
- 26:16So you're either submitted to God, and if you're not submitted
- 26:21to God, you have given access or you are allowing access from
- 26:27evil to influence. That's why we have so many
- 26:29problems in this world. That's why we have selfishness.
- 26:33That's why we have pride. That's why we have all these
- 26:36different things is because we are not submitted completely,
- 26:40100% submitted to God to say, God, I want you to guide my
- 26:44life. I want to submit to your
- 26:46authority. I want to do what your will is.
- 26:49And if we don't do that, if we don't have the Holy Spirit, we
- 26:54are unprotected and we are subject to, I mean, the Bible
- 27:00calls it slavery. The whole, you know, the message
- 27:03of the world twists everything around and says, well, you know,
- 27:06like if you follow God or whatever, then you're like in
- 27:08bondage or whatever. But you're not, it's the
- 27:10opposite. They you know, it's like we are
- 27:13in those times where they say good is bad and bad is good and
- 27:18they distort everything that's that's in the Bible and the
- 27:22Bible tells us the truth. So in reality, when we are
- 27:28rejecting God, we are in slavery to the evil side of the world,
- 27:33God's enemy, and we don't even know it.
- 27:36We're blind to it because we we grew up that way.
- 27:39Our eyes haven't been opened. We haven't sought, we haven't
- 27:42been seeking God. When we seek God, when we get
- 27:46into the word, when the Holy Spirit starts to enter into our
- 27:49life, our eyes get opened and we see the truth beyond it.
- 27:54So as I get back to forgiveness, which is extremely important,
- 27:58you have to look beyond the human person that's doing
- 28:02something that has offended you and realize this person is not
- 28:06submitted to God. And we all were that too.
- 28:09So we have to remember that. So don't place a judgement on
- 28:12somebody who's not yet submitted, but hopefully
- 28:15encourage them to submit to God so that their life can change.
- 28:20And then you will have peace with that person.
- 28:22But in the interim, you have to not take it out on that person.
- 28:26And remember that the vengeance is God's.
- 28:28It's not ours. Turn it over to God.
- 28:31Pray for that person, that their eyes be open to their actions
- 28:35that they're doing. Forgive them for whatever it is
- 28:38because it's an evil spiritual realm influencing that person
- 28:44and look beyond it. Don't just look at them as a
- 28:47helpless human being who is being taken over by demonic
- 28:53forces and they need help, They need God.
- 28:58So forgive them for what they've done, just like God has forgiven
- 29:02us. Forgiveness is so important
- 29:04because that I think if we keep unforgiveness, then we withhold
- 29:11things from God. So you are, you are depriving
- 29:14yourself of blessings when you don't forgive.
- 29:18So let stuff go and realize what is behind it.
- 29:23That's one of the things but I kind of got off on on a tangent
- 29:27there again. But the king of Babylon.
- 29:30So the whole point that we were talking about is that the the
- 29:34king of Babylon is not just literally the king of Babylon,
- 29:38although it did probably mean that like God often in
- 29:41Scripture, it has a literal meaning.
- 29:45But then it also has a symbolic meeting and it also has like a
- 29:48foreshadowing of future events like this.
- 29:51This all hasn't happened yet, but the the point of it is that
- 29:57there are these spiritual forces, there are these
- 30:00principalities in the heavenly realms that apparently,
- 30:05according to the Book of Enoch, control certain areas of land.
- 30:10So I remember as a kid, always as a child, always thinking
- 30:15about like, why does the Middle East fight all the time?
- 30:19Like, why are they always at war?
- 30:20Can't they just work things out? This is a spiritual battle and
- 30:25it's against Israel and it's got because Israel is God's chosen.
- 30:32So the dark forces of the world, the spiritual forces of evil
- 30:37want to get rid of God's chosen Israel.
- 30:41So it all it, it's all found in the Bible.
- 30:46You learn all about what's going on in this world and people are
- 30:49thinking, you know, they're going to solve it by human means
- 30:52and negotiate all these different issues.
- 30:56It's a spiritual issue. And unless you address the
- 31:00spiritual issue, it will remain. So you're going to put a
- 31:03Band-Aid on something that is not going to solve the problem
- 31:07because if you don't get to the root of it, the spiritual
- 31:11matter, it won't get resolved. So any of this peace talk that
- 31:16we have in the world, unless we address the spiritual aspect
- 31:21that peace is not going to happen.
- 31:24And we know that none of this is going to happen.
- 31:27I mean, we're not going to have peace until Jesus returns.
- 31:30And Jesus is the one who has the power.
- 31:32Just, you know, God is the one with the power who can make the
- 31:36impossible happen. That's why God can bring peace
- 31:39to the whole world is because he is God.
- 31:43So we won't have it. But for right now, we have to
- 31:48remember when we read this, this prophecy is that this king of
- 31:52Babylon is more than the historical king of Babylon.
- 31:57There is a principality that's affecting.
- 31:59So future kings will have that same principality over them.
- 32:04That same evil force from the heavenly realm is affecting
- 32:09those land areas. And that's, that's I guess a
- 32:13theory that I have. But if you look throughout the
- 32:16Bible, it's always those same land areas doing the same
- 32:22things. So they just repeat over and
- 32:26over. It's so, you know, you hear
- 32:28history repeats itself. That's because the spiritual,
- 32:32Matt, the spiritual issues are not dealt with.
- 32:35The spiritual issues are not changed.
- 32:38So then it just goes back to what it was before.
- 32:41That's can talk. I mean, that can solve a lot of
- 32:45our personal conflicts is, you know, you can, you can work on
- 32:49this and work on this and go to counseling and therapy and
- 32:52negotiations and all this stuff. But if you don't get to the
- 32:54heart of the matter, the spiritual issue, it's just going
- 32:58to be a long, long process. So all right, so I think we've
- 33:05covered that. So now in verse, I guess it's
- 33:09verse 4, it says you will, you will take up OK on the day the
- 33:15Lord gives you relief. So this is, I guess, to Israel
- 33:18from your suffering and the turmoil from the harsh labor
- 33:21first forced on you. You will take a batat against
- 33:23the king of Babylon. Now, again, I don't think this
- 33:26this is a king of Babylon, but it's more than the king of
- 33:28Babylon. It says how the oppressor has
- 33:33come to an end, how his fury has ended.
- 33:39So the, you know, there's a temporary reprieve from Babylon
- 33:45and then the Assyrians, you know, there's a, there are these
- 33:48temporary reliefs, but it just keeps coming back.
- 33:51Like it goes away. 1 oppressor happens, then another oppressor
- 33:54comes. And so it's also interesting if
- 33:57you look at Babylon and how this, this study guide said
- 34:03Assyria was lumped in, but they were probably, you know, kind of
- 34:06the same. And then it said, well, all of
- 34:07Mesopotamia. So then I had to look up, well,
- 34:10what's the landmass of Mesopotamia?
- 34:14And the the interesting part is it's northern Iraq, southwestern
- 34:19Turkey, northwestern Iran, and northeastern Syria.
- 34:25So we have 4 countries now that make up the ancient land of
- 34:30Mesopotamia, Iraq, Turkey, Iran and Syria.
- 34:39Do you notice anything about those?
- 34:42Do you notice anything about those entities, those countries
- 34:45and their relationship with Israel, Iraq, Turkey, Iran,
- 34:51Syria? Think about that.
- 34:54So think about these principalities in the heavenly
- 34:57realms ruling over earthly place, and they get this
- 35:01authority until Jesus returns and takes over the authority and
- 35:05reigns as king. So until Jesus returns, nothing
- 35:09is going to change. These countries are always going
- 35:12to, in their hearts, be bent against Israel unless you
- 35:19address the spiritual matter, which the Bible doesn't tell us.
- 35:23Tell the Bible tells us does not happen until Jesus returns.
- 35:29So we are all waiting for Jesus's return to solve the
- 35:33conflicts in the Middle East because it won't be solved until
- 35:38then. And if anyone tells you that it
- 35:40is solved, it's a fake sense of peace for a short period of
- 35:45time. And Bible prophecy tells us, I
- 35:48guess best case scenario it would be like 3 1/2 years that
- 35:52there might be maybe peace, but maybe not.
- 35:56The timeline's a little bit ambiguous as well.
- 36:00So anyway, it's we're not going to have peace.
- 36:04And the best thing that we can do is each of us have a solid
- 36:09relationship with God, stay in the word, seek him everyday,
- 36:14seek his guidance, forgive others because that's a huge
- 36:20hindrance to us if we are, if we are unforgiving people and
- 36:24remember the spiritual. I think that that verse about
- 36:28the from Ephesians chapter 6, verse 12 is so important for us
- 36:33to remember because I do believe that helps.
- 36:36It helped me with forgiveness because you just realize it's
- 36:40not the person. They're just their, their eyes
- 36:43just are not opened yet. And so it's it's important to
- 36:47forgive. So going back to verse 4, how
- 36:51his fury has ended. Well, the king of Babylon's fury
- 36:56is greater again, the see, these are principalities that we're
- 36:59talking about when the principalities fury has ended.
- 37:02Well, let's go to Revelation chapter 12, verse 12.
- 37:08Listen to this. Therefore rejoice you heavens,
- 37:12and you who dwell in them, but woe to the earth and the sea,
- 37:19because the devil has gone down to you.
- 37:23He is filled with fury because he knows that his time is short.
- 37:31OK, so let's read that verse from Isaiah.
- 37:33How the oppressor has come to an end, how his fury has ended.
- 37:38So Satan will be cast down to earth.
- 37:41He's not going to have access. In the book of Job, it tells us
- 37:45that Satan would roam the earth looking for his next victim, or
- 37:51he was roaming to and fro on the earth, but then he would be in
- 37:53the presence of God and he would be accusing the people here on
- 37:57earth of things. Well, there's a point where
- 38:02Satan the Devil is cast down to earth and he takes in the Book
- 38:08of Revelation, they're called stars, but the stars are
- 38:11representations of angels. And he takes a third of the
- 38:15angels. That's where we get fallen
- 38:16angels from. He brings them down to the earth
- 38:20and he has a lot of fury because he he knows prophecy as well.
- 38:26He knows that there's a short period of time and he no longer,
- 38:32I mean, he's, he's not stupid. He was, we are told that he has,
- 38:36he was made very wise. He was, God gave him just like
- 38:39everything. He made him like one of the the
- 38:42best of the best, but his pride wanted more.
- 38:45He wasn't satisfied with that. That's what the Bible tells us.
- 38:50And so he doesn't necessarily want to conquer all of the land.
- 38:56All He wants to do is destroy what God loves.
- 39:00That's his mission to seek and destroy.
- 39:04And that's what he does to people through temptations,
- 39:08through, you know, making sin look like it's OK and drawing us
- 39:15into that because it's we are still subject to God's law.
- 39:22And if we are not covered by Jesus, submitted to God at
- 39:29believing in Jesus and having the Holy Spirit, if the if that
- 39:34isn't a part of our life, then we are destined to destruction
- 39:40because of the law that God made.
- 39:44That's as simple as I can make it.
- 39:47So it's Satan knows the law. He knows that he's not going to
- 39:53get the earth and he knows that God loves people and he just
- 40:00wants to destroy everybody. So he's going to do it in the
- 40:03most deceitful way possible to try all these different things
- 40:08to destroy the people. He doesn't care.
- 40:10He'll lure people in with things that look very attractive, but
- 40:15ultimately all he wants to do is destroy.
- 40:19So then so we know that his fury is happening.
- 40:22Then there's Daniel Chapter 11, verse 30.
- 40:28It says ships of the western coastlands will approach oppose
- 40:32him. This is talking about the king
- 40:34of the north. And again, the north was kind of
- 40:36always referred to like that Babylon area.
- 40:40So those those countries like Turkey, Iraq, Syria and part of
- 40:49Iran. So ships at the western
- 40:52coastlines will oppose him. This is the king of the North
- 40:55and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent
- 40:59his fury against the Holy Covenant.
- 41:05He will return and show favor to those who forsake the Holy
- 41:09Covenant. So the question is what is the
- 41:14Holy Covenant? It the holy covenant, you know,
- 41:20ultimately symbolically it's God's promise, his agreement
- 41:27with the people. He he promised the land, certain
- 41:33land area to Israel. And then his covenant was the
- 41:37old covenant was established by a law, but the new covenant is
- 41:43Jesus. So he will show favor, He will
- 41:48return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant
- 41:52are Jesus, those who deny Jesus. And because by Jesus's death on
- 42:03the cross he broke the law of sin, he paid the price.
- 42:10I guess he was the substitute sacrifice.
- 42:12So that death, it didn't, doesn't have to occur for
- 42:18everyone who is covered by Jesus, those who submit to God,
- 42:23those who understand what Jesus did on the cross and and receive
- 42:30the Holy Spirit. OK, so Daniel 11:30 that's the
- 42:36king of the north. So this is again, he has fury.
- 42:40So he will turn back to go to Israel and vent his fury against
- 42:45the holy covenant. So all those people who follow,
- 42:48I mean, there's multiple times in Revelation where it talks
- 42:50about this too, where when he's cast down, he goes against
- 42:56Israel, then he goes against the children, like those who believe
- 43:00and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
- 43:01So there is anyone who's going to call themselves a Christian
- 43:05is going to be subject to this fury when Satan is cast down
- 43:11permanently where he doesn't have access to the heavenly
- 43:14realms anymore. That I don't believe has
- 43:17happened just yet. We haven't seen the the person
- 43:21that people will call the Antichrist yet claiming to be
- 43:24God and all that. I don't know if if Satan
- 43:26actually possesses someone or I don't know what happens exactly.
- 43:31It's, it's kind of a mystery to me.
- 43:33But I do know that the Bible tells us that he will be thrown
- 43:36down to earth and he takes a lot of angels with them, the
- 43:40rebellious ones. And there will be basically hell
- 43:44on earth is what's going to happen at that time.
- 43:47And even Jesus said that during that time, when this happens,
- 43:51when the abomination is set up on the holy ground, that there
- 43:55will be great distress that there never was on this earth
- 43:59before. I think of all the world wars,
- 44:01it's, you know, there's going to be a future distress that's
- 44:04worse than what was experienced during the World War so far, and
- 44:08it'll never be experienced again.
- 44:10This is going to be the first and last time of tremendous
- 44:15distress that is in the future for us.
- 44:20So what in verse 7, to switch the topic on verse 7 of chapter
- 44:2614 of Isaiah, all the lands are at rest and at peace.
- 44:30They break into singing. This is when Jesus is reigning.
- 44:34So there will be peace everywhere, but before Jesus
- 44:40takes over, he has to destroy Babylon.
- 44:42And I found something about timing that in doing this
- 44:47research this morning for this chapter, I found that Babylon
- 44:50falls before the mark of the beast rolls out.
- 44:54And we'll cover that in a minute too.
- 44:57So again, this talks about the realm of the dead.
- 45:00Below is all a stir to meet you at your coming.
- 45:03So this is like, is this when Satan is cast into the pit that
- 45:09so that's in Revelation 20 verse three.
- 45:15He threw him into the abyss and locked it and sealed it over him
- 45:19to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the 1000
- 45:25years were ended. After that he must be set free
- 45:29for a short time. So this is when Jesus or an
- 45:35Angel, it says an Angel, this is John's vision.
- 45:39And he said, I saw an Angel coming down out of heaven,
- 45:42having the key to the abyss and holding it, holding in his hand
- 45:46a great chain. He seized the dragon, the
- 45:50ancient serpent who is the devil or Satan and bound him for 1000
- 45:57years. So this is right when Christ
- 46:00rules for 1000 years, Satan is put into the abyss and sealed in
- 46:06there for 1000 years. So when Isaiah talks about the
- 46:10realm of the dead below that's in the abyss is all a stir to
- 46:14meet you at your coming. It rouses the spirits of the
- 46:19departed to greet you, all those who were leaders in the world.
- 46:25It makes them rise from their Thrones.
- 46:29All those who were kings over the nations.
- 46:32They will all respond. They will say to you, you also
- 46:35have become weak as we are, and you have become like us.
- 46:39All your pomp has been brought down to the grave along with the
- 46:43noise of your harps. When I read that, I was like,
- 46:46well, you know the harps. I don't know if that's really in
- 46:50the Bible about the harps, you know, in heaven, but I know that
- 46:54in the worldly sense, a lot of times that's picturesque of
- 46:57that. So, you know, could this mean
- 46:59that, you know, being Satan, you know, you were in that presence,
- 47:02you had that heavenly atmosphere, and now you're down
- 47:07here in the abyss. Maggots are spread out beneath
- 47:11you and worms cover you. So Satan isn't immediately put
- 47:18into the abyss before that there is there is some fury that
- 47:23happens, but this is kind of it. The the timing of all this is
- 47:28kind of compressed in this chapter of Isaiah.
- 47:32So then it says now here's where it really like this is not a
- 47:35human being that's being talked about.
- 47:37This is certainly Satan, how you have fallen from heaven.
- 47:43Morning star, son of the dawn, you have been cast down to the
- 47:50earth. So again, this made me think
- 47:54about Revelation chapter 6 and I don't know if I called that one
- 48:00up. Yes.
- 48:01OK, so Revelation chapter 6 verse 13.
- 48:05And the stars in the sky fell to the earth as figs drop from a
- 48:10fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.
- 48:13So I'm not sure if this relates to that verse, but remember like
- 48:19the dragon is Satan and he sweeps 1/3 of the angels, 1/3 of
- 48:24the stars out of heaven. They come down to the earth.
- 48:28Is this at the same time when the 6th seal is open?
- 48:33And this is when judgment occurs and Jesus reigns?
- 48:39This is just something that I discovered today.
- 48:41Does Revelation 613 refer to Revelation chapter 12?
- 48:49So on the 6th seal, I watched as he opened the 6th seal.
- 48:53There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like
- 48:57sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and
- 49:00the stars in the sky fell to earth as figs drop from a fig
- 49:05tree when shaken by a strong wind.
- 49:07The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and
- 49:10every mountain and island was removed from its place.
- 49:13Then the kings of the earth, the Princess, the generals, the
- 49:16rich, the mighty, and everyone else both slave and free, hid in
- 49:20caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
- 49:23They called on the mountains and the rocks fall on us and hide us
- 49:26from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of
- 49:31the Lamb. That's Jesus.
- 49:32For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand
- 49:37it? So this is when the 6th seal is
- 49:40open and Jesus returns, and this is a time of wrath that begins.
- 49:45That will be that will happen after this.
- 49:48So again, that probably makes sense that Babylon falls before
- 49:53the mark of the beast. And so we'll read about that
- 49:55too. So the let's see the second, the
- 50:02second resurrection in Revelation 20 verse 5, it tells
- 50:10us in Revelation chapter 20 verse 5, the rest of the dead
- 50:14did not come to life until the 1000 years were ended.
- 50:19So let's let's read from the top again.
- 50:25Revelation chapter 20 and I saw an Angel coming down out of
- 50:28heaven, having the key to the abyss and holding in his hand a
- 50:32great chain. He seized the dragon, that
- 50:35ancient serpent who is the devil or Satan and bound him for 1000
- 50:38years. He threw him into the abyss and
- 50:41locked and sealed it over him, keeping to keep him from
- 50:44deceiving the nation's anymore until the 1000 years were ended.
- 50:47After that, he must be set free for a short time.
- 50:51I saw Thrones on which were seated those who had been given
- 50:55authority to judge, and I saw the souls of those who had been
- 50:59beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and
- 51:04because of the Word of God. They had not worshipped the
- 51:09beast or its image and had not received its mark on their
- 51:14foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned
- 51:19with Christ 1000 years. The rest of the dead did not
- 51:23come to life until the 1000 years were ended.
- 51:27This is the first resurrection. So at the resurrection there are
- 51:36those who it gives you kind of a sequence of all these things
- 51:41that happened. So there's a second resurrection
- 51:45or if you want to call it, yeah, I guess the second the judgement
- 51:48time. So the evil ones are in the
- 51:50abyss with Satan for the 1000 years and after the 1000 years,
- 51:55the evil ones then are judged. So they they don't take place.
- 52:01They don't take place in that first period of time when Jesus
- 52:04is reigning. They're all locked up.
- 52:07So then let's talk about, we talked about Revelation 6, verse
- 52:1213. And let's see, I've lost that
- 52:18one about the stars in the sky fell to the earth as figs drop
- 52:22from the fig tree. And like I said, I was wondering
- 52:25if it related to Revelation 12. And let's start with Revelation
- 52:3212 verse 4. Then I another sign of well
- 52:38verse 3. Then another sign appeared in
- 52:40heaven, an enormous red dragon, enormous red dragon with 7 heads
- 52:46and 10 horns and seven crowns on its head.
- 52:49That gets a little bit confusing.
- 52:51It says beast and the dragon is also Satan.
- 52:55So Satan is somehow like probably controlling this beast.
- 53:00And the heads are are different kings and the horns are powers
- 53:08and the crowns are authority. So it's this human makeup of
- 53:15people, an entity that's empowered by Satan, and that's
- 53:24the sign that he sees. So it's tail, this Dragon's
- 53:27tail. And the beast swept 1/3 of the
- 53:28stars out of the sky and flung them to earth.
- 53:31Those are the fallen angels. The dragon, which is Satan,
- 53:34stood in front of the woman, which is Israel, who is about to
- 53:38give birth. Remember, Jesus talks about
- 53:40labor pains or and so forth about the end times.
- 53:44So Israel is about to have labor pains so that the devil might
- 53:49devour her child the moment he was born.
- 53:52I believe this is Jesus because of the next verse.
- 53:57She or Israel gave birth to a son.
- 54:01So Jesus has ancestry in the through Israel.
- 54:08He's from the lineage of David. So Israel gave birth to a son,
- 54:15Jesus, a male child who will rule over who will rule all
- 54:20nations with an iron scepter. So that's what Jesus will do.
- 54:24And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne.
- 54:30Well, on the cross after his death, he was brought up to God,
- 54:37to his throne. And that's where Jesus is right
- 54:40now. Now it says here the woman fled
- 54:43into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God where
- 54:47she might be taken care of for 1260 days.
- 54:51That's 3 1/2 years. So the war, then war broke out
- 54:57in heaven. So God has a place that he's
- 54:59going to protect Israel. There's a war that breaks out in
- 55:04heaven. Michael and his angels fought
- 55:07against the dragon, Satan and the dragon and his angels.
- 55:11The fallen angels fought back, but he was not strong enough and
- 55:16they lost their place in heaven. So the dragon lost his place.
- 55:20Satan lost his place in heaven. This is future prophecy.
- 55:24The great dragon was hurled down that ancient serpent called the
- 55:28Devil or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.
- 55:31He was hurled to earth and his angels with him.
- 55:34So now we have Satan and fallen angels not being allowed back in
- 55:38heaven, but they're going to be down on earth and there's going
- 55:41to be fury over people. Then I heard a loud voice in
- 55:45heaven say, now have come the salvation and the power and the
- 55:49Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah, for
- 55:55the accuser of our brothers and sisters who accuse them before
- 55:59our God. Day and night has been hurled
- 56:01down South. Satan is hurled down.
- 56:04They triumphed over him. The people triumphed over Satan
- 56:10by the blood of the Lamb, by the blood of Jesus, and by the word
- 56:15of their testimony. Each person has a testimony when
- 56:18they are born again. They did not love their lives so
- 56:23much as to shrink from death. So if death is required, that is
- 56:29what the people who will overcome, they'll know they
- 56:32believe, and therefore they're not afraid to die because they
- 56:36know that there is eternal life for them, because they are
- 56:40covered by Jesus. Therefore rejoice you heavens,
- 56:45and you who dwell in them, but woe to the earth and the sea,
- 56:49because the devil has gone down to you.
- 56:51He is filled with fury because he knows his time is short.
- 56:56When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he had
- 57:01he pursued the woman Israel, who had given birth to the male
- 57:05child. The woman was given 2 wings of a
- 57:09great eagle. Remember God's giving
- 57:11protection. We talked about the great eagle
- 57:14potentially being Jordan because of Obadiah, a comparison so that
- 57:19she might fly to the place prepared for her in the
- 57:24wilderness where she would be taken care of for a time, times
- 57:28and half a time out of the serpent.
- 57:31So the devil is also called a serpent out of his reach.
- 57:35So there's a period of time. This is what God prophesized,
- 57:38that Israel will be protected. Then from his mouth, the serpent
- 57:43spewed water like a river to overtake the woman and sweep her
- 57:47away with the torrent. So there's a massive, you know,
- 57:52flooding, I don't know, a flooding of evil.
- 57:54Sometimes it does talk about the enemies of Israel coming over
- 57:59them like a flood. So that could very well be, this
- 58:04is, you know, very metaphor. It's, you know, it's a metaphor
- 58:08for all this, but the earth helped the woman by opening its
- 58:12mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out
- 58:15of his mouth. Remember that one time when the
- 58:18land opened up and swallowed? What was it?
- 58:22The Kora, The people of Kora, because they had rebelled
- 58:25against God. Well, this is a very similar
- 58:28thing and it's very interesting too.
- 58:30And in Islamic beliefs they have something about the land
- 58:35swallowing up some people too in it in the end times, which is
- 58:38interesting. So then the dragon, Satan was
- 58:43enraged at the woman Israel and went off to war against the rest
- 58:47of her offspring. And there's a long dash there,
- 58:51those who keep God's commands and hold fast to their testimony
- 58:56about Jesus. So the dragon first goes against
- 58:59Israel and then against Christians.
- 59:02So that's what it's telling us is going to happen in the future
- 59:05when he is hurled down to earth. He's first going after Israel
- 59:09and then going after the the rest of the people.
- 59:15So when going back to Isaiah chapter 14 and it says I will,
- 59:19this is talking about like Satan, I will sit enthroned on
- 59:22the mount of assembly on the utmost heist of Mount Zaphon.
- 59:26I had to look at that to see what that was.
- 59:28And it says, it says if or if the North Zaphon was the most
- 59:36sacred mountain of the Canaanites.
- 59:39Well, that's where the Canaanites worship these other
- 59:41deities, which I believe all this other deities that were
- 59:46worshipped were Satan or maybe fallen angels and Enoch.
- 59:50The Book of Enoch kind of tells us that's where these watchers
- 59:52were, but they rebelled against God, had sex with humans and
- 59:57created Nephilim and they were in charge of watching people,
- 1:00:00but they corrupted the people. Again, probably just Satan, you
- 1:00:04know, another means to destroy mankind.
- 1:00:08He's not seeking to really be with these women or anything.
- 1:00:11He just wants to destroy them and to separate them from God
- 1:00:15because he's, he's got this fury against God.
- 1:00:20So then it says in. Chapter 14, verse 16, Is this
- 1:00:27the man who shook the earth? So that's why I wonder if the
- 1:00:31Antichrist is going to be empowered.
- 1:00:34Well, it does tell us that the beast is empowered by Satan.
- 1:00:37So whatever this entity is, if it's a, it sounds like it's a
- 1:00:41person who then proclaims to be God.
- 1:00:44But is he demonically possessed? I don't you know, that just
- 1:00:49sounds like possibility. Is Satan himself manifested as a
- 1:00:56human being? Because angels can appear like
- 1:00:59humans. So is it actually Satan?
- 1:01:01I don't know. We we probably won't know until
- 1:01:07it's all over. Let's see.
- 1:01:10And then it says, but you were cast out of your tomb like a
- 1:01:13rejected branch. Jesus is compared to the branch.
- 1:01:18He is actually called the branch.
- 1:01:20So this is like Satan is the rejected branch.
- 1:01:25And it talks about for you have destroyed your land and killed
- 1:01:29your people. So everybody who follows Satan
- 1:01:31is basically going to be destroyed.
- 1:01:34They're deceived thinking that they've got all this freedom.
- 1:01:38But in reality, if they would read the Bible, they would know
- 1:01:41that it's a lie and they are just going to be destroyed.
- 1:01:46Then it's the other thing that I thought of when I read this was
- 1:01:51in verse 20. It says let the offspring of the
- 1:01:55wicked never be bent mentioned again.
- 1:01:57Prepare a place to slaughter his children for the sins of their
- 1:02:01ancestors. They are not to rise to inherit
- 1:02:05the land and cover the earth with their cities.
- 1:02:08Will anybody who is connected with Satan or who has become one
- 1:02:13with Satan and rejected God, that's like blasphemy of the
- 1:02:18Holy Spirit. When you reject God and you say
- 1:02:21I don't want anything to do with you, you become one basically
- 1:02:24with Satan and you are one of his offspring.
- 1:02:29Jesus talked about different people being, you know, having
- 1:02:34their, they would, they would recognize him because if they
- 1:02:37don't, their father is Satan. And and so they are the, their
- 1:02:44father. Yeah, their father is the devil.
- 1:02:46He's, he said that to people who wouldn't, who wouldn't accept
- 1:02:50him for who he was and wouldn't recognize him for who he was.
- 1:02:54They rejected him. So that is blasphemy of the Holy
- 1:02:57Spirit, not recognizing the Spirit of God and denying that
- 1:03:02that's what these people did. And he said that's who your
- 1:03:06father is. Your father is Satan.
- 1:03:08And this goes back to the first book of the Bible, the book of
- 1:03:12Genesis, when God, when Adam and Eve were tempted by Satan the
- 1:03:19serpent, and they were questioning God and they
- 1:03:24disobeyed God. And then God as punishment said
- 1:03:29in Genesis chapter 3, verse 15. And I will put enmity between
- 1:03:35you and the woman and between your offspring and hers.
- 1:03:41He will crush your head and you will strike his heel.
- 1:03:48This is God was talking to the serpent.
- 1:03:50So I should read verse 14. So that's clear.
- 1:03:55So the Lord God said to the serpent, or if you want to call
- 1:03:59him Satan because you have done this cursed are you above all
- 1:04:05livestock and all wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and
- 1:04:09you will eat dust all the days of your life.
- 1:04:12And I will put enmity between you and the woman, between your
- 1:04:16offspring. So he has offspring and hers.
- 1:04:20He meaning Jesus, will crush your head and you will strike
- 1:04:27his heel. So he's going to, you know, he
- 1:04:30did he harm Jesus? Yes, he did.
- 1:04:33I mean, think about the blows that Jesus received before his
- 1:04:36crucifixion. Think about the crucifixion.
- 1:04:39So he was hurt. He was injured and he died, but
- 1:04:43he rose because he had the Spirit of God.
- 1:04:46That's how Jesus rose from the dead, and that's how we also
- 1:04:50will rise from the dead when we have the Holy Spirit.
- 1:04:53But God doesn't give the Holy Spirit to people who are
- 1:04:56rebellious to Him. We have to surrender to God and
- 1:04:59accept Him, and then we will be rewarded substantially by
- 1:05:07eternity. So I think this has been a very
- 1:05:10long yes, over an hour now, so I will stop.
- 1:05:14I probably could keep talking, but I think we've kind of
- 1:05:17covered the content enough. But this is certainly future
- 1:05:22prophecy in my opinion, and there is so much in here.
- 1:05:27Something to think about and pay attention to what's going on in
- 1:05:30the Middle East just so you can be aware of the times that we
- 1:05:34are in. But most importantly, seek God,
- 1:05:38surrender to God, pray to him and and ask, you know, ask for
- 1:05:45the Holy Spirit. And then just know that God
- 1:05:49protects his children. You don't have anything to worry
- 1:05:52about that God provides and protects.
- 1:05:55So you don't have to fear any of this end time stuff.
- 1:05:58It's only the people who are rebellious to God, who reject
- 1:06:01him, who have anything to fear.
