- 0:00Speaker 1: Tonight, we're going to continue following the financials of the
- 0:04Jeffrey Epstein Gilain Maxwell criminal enterprise. We're getting news tonight
- 0:10that two more subpoenas have been shipped off in regards
- 0:15to the financials of this case and the Virgin Islands.
- 0:19So we see the scope growing almost on a weekly
- 0:23basis at this point, especially when it comes to the financials.
- 0:29Why in the world would Leon Black be funneling ten
- 0:36twelve fourteen million dollars through one of Jeffrey Epstein's front
- 0:40companies in the Virgin Islands. What are you looking to
- 0:44accomplish with that, Trying to wash that money, trying to
- 0:50stash it, trying to hide it. Those are the questions
- 0:54that need to be answered, and that's what the subpoenas
- 0:59in tend to do. They're going to call these people
- 1:02under oath to come and speak about the financial aspect
- 1:06of their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and for a lot
- 1:09of these people that were involved with him, they're going
- 1:12to have a lot of explaining to do, because I
- 1:16don't know how you can explain a two hundred and
- 1:18fifty thousand dollars salary as a personal assistant and as
- 1:25far as money laundering goes, well, we know that that
- 1:28was going on in an abundance here. Now, they might
- 1:33not have come out and said that the authorities, right,
- 1:36but when you follow the circumstantial evidence that has been
- 1:39provided for us, from all of the articles that we
- 1:44have read and all of the articles that are out there,
- 1:46it is very, very very clear that these companies that
- 1:51they set up offshore in the US, Virgin Islands and
- 1:54elsewhere were obviously operating as front companies and a way
- 1:59for them to laundered money. And never mind the money
- 2:04that they had going through these banks, what about the cash.
- 2:08We know that Epstein wasn't just dealing with, you know,
- 2:12with a debit card here, right, He had a ton
- 2:15of cash and he was giving bags of cash to people.
- 2:19You can't track cash. You can't trace cash unless, of course,
- 2:22you know, you have a sting operation set into place.
- 2:24But for the most part, that's why stuff is done
- 2:27in cash when it has to do with illegal activity.
- 2:30So we know that Jeffrey Epstein was definitely passing out
- 2:34bags of cash as well. But these transactions that occurred
- 2:39in the Virgin Islands with these front companies, these transactions
- 2:43from people like Leon Black and other super so called
- 2:49members of elite society. They all need to be looked
- 2:52at with a very, very stringent eye, because look, how
- 2:57many more examples do we need to see of the
- 3:01super elite, the super rich still try and cheat their
- 3:06way through How many times have we seen these people
- 3:09evade their taxes. How many times have we seen these
- 3:11people launder money? How many times have we seen these
- 3:15people get away with it. I don't know about you, folks,
- 3:18but I'm pretty tired of it. If they would have
- 3:21just kept their shenanigans to thievery, grifting and all around
- 3:26general political degeneratism, then I probably would have never even
- 3:31taken notice. But you add in the whole sex trafficking
- 3:35factor to it, and well, there is only one conclusion
- 3:40anybody with a straight thinking mind can come to, and
- 3:44that is that the people who were involved in this,
- 3:47be it the biggest richest banker in the world or
- 3:51a lowly butler, they all must answer questions for what
- 3:55role they played. And that's what we see going on
- 3:59here as this probe begins to expand in the Virgin Islands.
- 4:05Our article tonight is from Bloomberg. The author of this
- 4:08article is Patricia Hurtado headlined Epstein records targeted in expanding
- 4:15probe by Virgin Islands. The Virgin Islands has expanded its
- 4:20document search in our racketeering lawsuit against the estate of
- 4:24deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, issuing new subpoenas last week
- 4:29after demanding records from six financial institutions in July. And
- 4:35it's very interesting that this is a racketeering lawsuit right
- 4:38obviously in the civil sense, but still its progress. Anytime
- 4:44we see the word racketeering next to Jeffrey Epstein or
- 4:47Gilain Maxwell or one of their enterprises, is a day
- 4:51that is a good day. Because once this blooms into that,
- 4:56and once this becomes a racketeering case criminally, then it's
- 5:01game on and the shoe is about to drop on
- 5:05the rest of these people. That's when you know that
- 5:08the prosecution is really serious. That's when you know that
- 5:12the SDNY has taken the gloves off and they're really
- 5:15looking to put people behind bars. Carol Thomas Jacobs, the
- 5:21territory's chief Deputy Attorney General, said in court filings August
- 5:25twenty fourth she had subpoenaed Epstein related records from Eric,
- 5:29American Foreign Exchange Incorporated and Narrows Holding LLC. Again, more
- 5:35of these little banking type institutions, These places where Jeffrey
- 5:42Epstein was able to wield all sorts of influence and
- 5:46have all kinds of questionable If we're being generous, financial
- 5:53transactions take place. See the idea is, if you have
- 5:58enough people working on the inside, well, then this stuff
- 6:01won't get into the Vincent database, this stuff won't get starked,
- 6:04this stuff won't end up in Title thirty one. And
- 6:07that's the whole idea. Right, If you have enough money
- 6:09and you can spread it around and you have some
- 6:11people in your pocket that are big wigs in these
- 6:14companies or board members or whatever it may be, it
- 6:17sure makes your life of criminal activity a whole hell
- 6:22of a lot easier to navigate. And that's what we
- 6:26see with these financial transactions. That's what we see with
- 6:29these companies. There's a reason that Epstein chose these companies.
- 6:33There is a reason that Jeffrey Epstein would park money
- 6:36here or move money through here as a middleman. It's
- 6:41not because these companies are you know, five star rated
- 6:45on yelp okay. It's because either a Jeffrey Epstein knows
- 6:50somebody who has done business with these companies before, and
- 6:53this is how they roll. Or b Epstein might have
- 6:56a guy or a girl or somebody in between that
- 6:59might work in the boardroom or whatever it may be.
- 7:02But there is a reason why these places were used.
- 7:09The prosecutor wants records and account statements from American Foreign
- 7:12Exchange tied to more than two dozen Epstein entities since
- 7:16January first, nineteen ninety eight, until the present. According to
- 7:20court filings from Narrow's Holding, the territory seeks documents and
- 7:24electronically stored information or objects along with permit entry onto
- 7:29the designated who hold on permit entry onto the designated
- 7:33premises record show, so not only are they looking for
- 7:37the electronically stored information, they are requesting actual physical entrance
- 7:43into the premises that are being subpoened. So these two places,
- 7:48American Foreign Exchange and Narrow's Holding, they're looking at not
- 7:54only being basically audited digitally. They're talking about sending agents
- 7:59and I'm guessing forensic accountants onto the property in a
- 8:03physical manner to finish and continue to conduct their investigation.
- 8:09That's pretty serious peril for these people. Right, that's the
- 8:12kind of shit you see in TV shows. American Foreign
- 8:17Exchange and Narrow's holdings couldn't be immediately located for comment.
- 8:21A spokeswoman for the Virgin Islands Attorney General's office didn't
- 8:25immediately return an email seeking comment about the new subpoenas.
- 8:29And they have been extra busy in the Virgin Islands
- 8:33with these subpoenas, right, and again, I'm not a big
- 8:37fan of Denise George, especially considering her money grab when
- 8:41it comes to the Survivor's Fund, and I've been very
- 8:45adamant about that from the beginning, that the Virgin Islands
- 8:49should be ashamed of themselves for even thinking that they're
- 8:52entitled to any of this money. And the fact that
- 8:55so many prominent people in the Virgin Islands were associated
- 9:00with Epstein. We're taking money from Epstein, received donations from Epstein,
- 9:05and let's be real, folks knew what Epstein was. Well,
- 9:09it doesn't sit well with me that all of these
- 9:11officials were in power in the Virgin Islands. They enriched
- 9:15themselves on the backs of these girls who were being
- 9:18abused basically, and now they're going to try and revictimize
- 9:23them by getting money out of this fund. It does
- 9:26not sit well with me. Denise George should be ashamed
- 9:28of herself. Somebody needs to check her. I don't know
- 9:31who it might be, but somebody needs to sit this
- 9:33lady down and have a talk with her. Stick with
- 9:36these subpoenas here and going after the money so that
- 9:40the survivors can get what they deserve a place like
- 9:44the Virgin Islands and somebody like Denise George need to
- 9:47keep their fingers out of the cookie jar. Denise George,
- 9:53the Attorney General of the Virgin Islands, sued Epstein's estate
- 9:56and six related companies in January alleging violation of the
- 10:00territory civil racketeering law. It is seeking unspecified damages, forfeiture
- 10:06of Epstein's private island in the territory and restitution for
- 10:10his sexual abuse victims. This is what I was just
- 10:14talking about here, the forfeiture of Epstein's private island. None
- 10:17of that stuff is going to fly. In my opinion,
- 10:20it can't be allowed to fly all right. That island
- 10:23needs to be sold to the highest bidder. That money
- 10:26needs to go into the estate so that it could
- 10:29be chopped up and the girls who were abused by
- 10:33Epstein can get a little bit of that fortune for
- 10:38themselves so that they can start their lives again, right,
- 10:41so they can start over. You know, no matter how
- 10:45much money you get from this estate, it's never going
- 10:48to change the fact that you were abused by this man, right,
- 10:52or that this man caused you irrevocable harm. But it
- 10:57does help out starting the rest of your life and
- 11:00getting things moving perhaps in a positive direction for some
- 11:04of these survivors, I'm sure for the first time maybe
- 11:07in a long time. So that's why I think that
- 11:09it's so important that they're compensated correctly. And the fact
- 11:13that Denise George thinks it's a good idea that they
- 11:16think they're going to get a little bit of restitution,
- 11:19like they're gonna sit at the table twice here, well,
- 11:22I just don't think that that is. It's not an
- 11:26acceptable thing to happen. Authorities on the island are also
- 11:32conducting a criminal investigation into whether Epstein's longtime associate Maxwell,
- 11:37participated in his criminal sex trafficking ring. Maxwell was arrested
- 11:42in July in a separate probe involving similar charges brought
- 11:46by the US Attorney in Manhattan she is pleaded not guilty.
- 11:50Epstein was found dead in a federal jail cell about
- 11:52a year ago after the US charged him with sex trafficking.
- 11:56So not only do we have this investment litigation running
- 12:00right now, the civil portion of this running in the
- 12:02Virgin Islands, there is also a criminal investigation underway that
- 12:07is running concurrently with the one that's happening in the
- 12:10SDNY in Manhattan. I am interested to see what sort
- 12:13of progress they've made in the Virgin Islands and if
- 12:16they have taken a different angle when it comes to
- 12:19the criminal side of this case. It's going to be
- 12:21interesting to see what they release coming forward and if
- 12:25any charges come out of this. As far as the
- 12:27investigation criminally in the Virgin Islands, I'm very interested to
- 12:32see where it goes. Last month, George asked the six
- 12:36financial institutions for account statements, deposit and withdrawal slips, information
- 12:41about the source and destination of funds and the identity
- 12:45of those requesting the transactions. And this is a big,
- 12:48big shot across the bow, right. This is something that
- 12:51will have all of these people terrified. Information about the
- 12:55source and the destination of the funds. So where they
- 12:59originate and where they ended up. And the people who
- 13:04received or sent those funds are going to be on
- 13:07the hook to answer for what occurred here. You signed
- 13:11your name to it, right, you receive that money, right, Well,
- 13:15now you have received money that has been attained via
- 13:19ill gotten gains in the commission of a crime. So
- 13:23now you are also part of the conspiracy. If it's
- 13:28good enough for Italian people all over the country, it
- 13:31most certainly is good enough for Jeffrey Epstein. She is
- 13:36also seeking internal bank memos, phone records, internal correspondence, and
- 13:41documentation of any internal due diligence or investigations related to
- 13:46the account. And it is a very interesting situation that
- 13:51we see evolving in the Virgin Islands as these subpoenas
- 13:56become more let's see more forthcoming in the future. Right,
- 14:06As we start to see more come out of these
- 14:08subpoenas and the process, it's going going to be interesting
- 14:12to see how much of the findings in this case
- 14:17relate to what's going on in the case in the
- 14:19SDNY and vice versa. And I wonder, and I would
- 14:23think that the attorney generals working on both cases, or
- 14:27at the very least the prosecution teams that are working
- 14:30on both cases are in contact with each other and
- 14:33trading information. At least you would think that that is occurring, right,
- 14:37You would hope anyway. But it's going to be interesting
- 14:40to see how this all breaks, folks. I mean, we
- 14:43got a lot of things that are happening here, and
- 14:45things are happening pretty quickly, So we're going to stay
- 14:48on top of it, and we will continue to follow
- 14:52what happens here in the Virgin Islands and in New
- 14:55York and every place else that has to do with
- 14:59Jeffrey Epstein and Gilaine Maxwell getting the justice that they
- 15:03so deserve. If you like to contact me, you can

- 15:21All of the links that go with this episode can
- 15:23be found in the description box. What's up, everyone, and
- 15:27welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. The lawsuit filed by
- 15:32the survivors down in the USVII against the government of
- 15:37the USVII continues to make its way through the system,
- 15:41and now we have had a second amended complaint filed
- 15:45alleging that the USVII officials conspired with Epstein for financial gain.
- 15:51And it's almost as if I was wearing my miss cleocapont.
- 15:54How long have I been telling you that this was
- 15:57going on down in the USVII While everybody else is
- 16:00out here telling you how great Denise George is. I
- 16:04was the one telling you that this whole entire situation
- 16:06was foo bar from Jump Street. And anytime you have
- 16:10a situation where an entity like a government is getting
- 16:13more money than the actual people who were abused, you
- 16:16know the hustle is real, and you know that whoever
- 16:19you're involved with is pulling a lick. And that's what
- 16:22the USVII tried to do. They tried to secure a
- 16:25bag here on the back of these girls who suffered,
- 16:28and they were pretty successful doing so. How much money
- 16:32did they rake in? How much money do they continue
- 16:35to rake in? And now they have the audacity to
- 16:38get bent out of shape when these survivors attempt to
- 16:41recoup that money. And keep in mind, if it was
- 16:44about justice, this would have been a Rico case, not
- 16:47a SECO case. It's never been about justice down in
- 16:50the USVII. It's always been about one thing, and one thing,
- 16:53only collecting a bag, and now that they're being called
- 16:56out for it, they're not very happy about it. Today's
- 17:00article is from the Saint Thomas source and the headline
- 17:03amended complaint alleges VI officials conspired with Epstein for a
- 17:07financial gain. This article was authored by c and Cobb.
- 17:12A second amended complaint filed Friday in Manhattan Federal Court
- 17:16by six victims of Jeffrey Epstein who were suing the
- 17:19VI government for alleged violations of Trafficking Victims Protection Act
- 17:24claimed territory officials actively conspired with the late multimillionaire to
- 17:29perpetrate his sex trafficking scheme for their own gain. And
- 17:33what else would they be doing it for? For fun? Oh? Yeah,
- 17:36you know what. Let's sell Epstein out and not get
- 17:38anything on the flip side. Does anybody on the planet
- 17:41believe that? And if you do, well, hate to say it,
- 17:45but you're dumb. In effect, the US Virgin Islands became
- 17:48a government sanctioned sanctuary for the wealthy men who paid
- 17:52Epstein substantial sums of money to travel from New York
- 17:56to engage in commercial sex acts with women also traveling
- 17:59from that state. The amended pseud alledges. Epstein would then
- 18:03deposit the funds in his New York bank accounts, from
- 18:06which he paid the defendants In the USVII. It says
- 18:09it was a quid pro quo arrangement where Epstein can
- 18:12make a fortune providing wealthy men with women and girls
- 18:15to abuse at his private island off Saint Thomas, and
- 18:18USVII officials could tap them for money for everything from
- 18:22political campaigns to Little League programs, legal bills, and even
- 18:26a fifty million dollar loan when the territory was short
- 18:29on cash. The lawsuit alledges. So all of this has
- 18:32been known for years and years and years, and now
- 18:36it's a big issue when the survivors make it an issue.
- 18:40But where's all of the hard charging journalists. Where are
- 18:43all the people that want to tell you all this
- 18:45nonsense all the time about this story? Oh that's right,
- 18:49This is installacious enough for him. The fact that the
- 18:52USVI government is being sued now as being a co
- 18:56conspirator with Jeffrey Epstein. You would think that a whole
- 18:59ass government that's being put on blast would make more news,
- 19:03But I guess not. In return, Epstein had free reign
- 19:07to travel as he pleased between New York and the
- 19:10USVII with whom he pleased, without any oversight from customs, police, Coastguard,
- 19:15and any other officials. It says, well, if you pay
- 19:18enough people off, and you send enough people's kids to college,
- 19:22and the governor's wife works in your office, well, what
- 19:25do you think is gonna happen? You think you're going
- 19:27to get in trouble. People like this don't get in trouble. Instead,
- 19:30they're able to wiggle off the hook each and every
- 19:32time because they have a fat ass bank account. It's
- 19:36an allegation that's repeated throughout the amended complaint, which is
- 19:39eighty three pages and also claims negligence and violations of
- 19:43the Racketeer Influenced in Corrupt Organizations Act that seeks to
- 19:48show why the Federal Court in the Southern District of
- 19:50New York is the right venue and New York State
- 19:53is correct jurisdiction for the case. Obviously, they don't want
- 19:57the case to be heard down in the USVII. They
- 20:00feel like it'll be tainted and they have a better
- 20:02shot if they can hear this up at SDNY in
- 20:05New York. So that's what the survivor's lawyers are shooting for.
- 20:10And the basis of all of that is that the
- 20:12production of this, meaning the money, the banking, these girls
- 20:16coming from New York, it's all in that jurisdiction. So
- 20:19what they're trying to do is say, we're suing you
- 20:22in this jurisdiction because this is where at least some
- 20:25of this egregious behavior took place. The class action suit
- 20:29was first filed in November by Jane Does one through
- 20:32five and amended in December to add a six plaintiff,
- 20:36a registered sex offender who pleaded guilty to procuring a
- 20:39minor for prostitution in Florida in two thousand and eight.
- 20:42Epstein died by apparent suicide in August of twenty nineteen
- 20:46at age sixty six, while in detention in New York
- 20:49on federal trafficking charges. His primary residence was Little Saint James,
- 20:54his private island off Saint Thomas, where for years he
- 20:57ran a complex web of shell companies registered in the
- 21:01USVII and afforded some three hundred million in tax breaks
- 21:05through the territory's Economic Development Commission that enabled his crimes,
- 21:10so over three hundred million in tax breaks. And the
- 21:13crazy part about that is if they would have just
- 21:15taxed Epstein the correct way, they would have made more
- 21:17money than stealing it from the survivors. And that's right,
- 21:21that's what I'm calling it theft. That's what this is.
- 21:25These politicians weren't abused. In fact, they were helping Epstein
- 21:29at least some of them, and enabling him to cause
- 21:31the abuse. Now they should get paid at both ends
- 21:34of the table. The defendants, the VI government, former First
- 21:38Ladies Cecil DeJong, Delegate to Congress Dacy Plaskett, former Senators
- 21:42so Destino White and Carlton Dow, former Attorney General Vincent Fraser,
- 21:47and former Governors Kenneth Mapp and John DeJong have argued
- 21:51that in their motions to dismiss that none of them
- 21:53has ties to New York and had little to no
- 21:56interaction with Epstein in that state, let alone business dealings,
- 21:59according to the court filings. And that's why they're looking
- 22:02for RICO. And if the survivors get their wish and
- 22:06this is classified as a RICO type of situation, could
- 22:10be real big trouble for the USVII officials and that's
- 22:13why you won't see it become rico. At best, we'll
- 22:16see a SECO case here, and we'll see more payouts,
- 22:19because that's all we're ever going to see in this case,
- 22:21never going to see real justice. However, on Thursday, Judge
- 22:25Aaron Subramanian terminated those motions to dismiss and granted emotion.
- 22:31The dose filed Thursday requesting permission to file the second
- 22:34amended complaint, ordering that they do so by Friday. He
- 22:38further ordered that the defendants now file motions on the
- 22:41amended complaint by June third. The plaintiffs' responses are due
- 22:46by June twenty fourth, and replies by July eighth. An
- 22:49initial conference is scheduled for July thirty first, at one pm.
- 22:53The amended complaint, like the first, leans almost entirely on
- 22:57information gleaned from the VI government's laws suit against JP
- 23:00Morgan Chase, Epstein's primary bank until twenty thirteen, which was
- 23:05settled for seventy five million dollars in September. The defendants
- 23:09were all deposed in that case, but the publicly available
- 23:13records are heavily redacted and much remains under seal. On
- 23:16April twenty ninth, the DOSE filed a motion seeking a
- 23:19court order granting them access to the full record. Presiding
- 23:23Judge Jeds Raykoff had not rendered a decision as of Friday.
- 23:27And there's no doubt that the USVII really stepped in
- 23:30it with this lawsuit. And this is what greed does
- 23:33to you, right. The USVII, well, they weren't happy with
- 23:35the couple of bucks they were getting, so they kept
- 23:38pushing the issue. And now well they find themselves on
- 23:41the other side of one of the same kinds of
- 23:43lawsuits that they filed themselves. It was not until the
- 23:46recent case where JP Morgan disclosed that it had deposed
- 23:50members of the USVII government, that the plaintiffs and public
- 23:53learned that the many acts committed by defendants which contributed
- 23:57to and caused plaintiff's injuries under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act,
- 24:01The amended complain states much of the conspiring around the
- 24:05sex abuse that occurred in the US Virgin Islands took
- 24:08place while Epstein was in New York or residence the
- 24:11pseud alleges. It notes that Plasket twice met with him
- 24:15at his mansion to discuss political donations. Which she said
- 24:18she ultimately returned, and that Cecil DeJong stayed in one
- 24:21of his apartments for a month in twenty seventeen. And
- 24:25Stacy Plaskett is just disgusting. This lady's up there talking
- 24:29about January sixth, and she's out here as somebody taking
- 24:33money from Epstein. Really, and nobody's gonna call her out. Huh.
- 24:36I guess she's one of the faves too. In her
- 24:40deposition for the JP Morgan case, the former First Lady
- 24:43said it was so she could recover from knee surgery.
- 24:46The amended complaint alleges it was in order to advise
- 24:50and assist him in securing the usvii's cooperation as a
- 24:53safe harbor for a sex trafficking ring. Defendants conspired, facilitated, accepted,
- 24:59and encouraged them the abuse and sex trafficking of the
- 25:01NY victims at the behest and hands of Epstein, a
- 25:05New York based individual, and his New York clients, to occur,
- 25:08continue to occur and flourish in the USVII. The complaint
- 25:12alleges after he and his clients sexually abuse the victims
- 25:16at his island estate of Little Saint James, the defendants
- 25:20then conspired to accommodate the unencumbered transfer and or travel
- 25:24of Epstein, his associates, his victims, and his clients from
- 25:27the USVII to NY. It says, and basically what they're
- 25:31saying is there are no safeguards in place. Nobody was
- 25:35stepping up to stop Epstein. They all knew what he
- 25:37was doing, and instead of stopping him, they instead enabled
- 25:40him and prolonged the abuse of these women. The suit
- 25:44singles out Cecial Dejeong, Epstein's office manager from two thousand
- 25:48to twenty nineteen, as a conduit through which the others
- 25:52were recruited into the scheme, listing, for example, her efforts
- 25:56to help Epstein influence sex offender legislation that was before
- 26:00the vi legislature when Fraser was Attorney General, or a
- 26:04suggestion that he paid White a monthly retainer for his support,
- 26:08or to help Dow's bid to become head of the
- 26:10Viport Authority. In return, Epstein paid her children's tuition to
- 26:14the tune of six hundred and twenty five thousand dollars
- 26:17and loan the couple two hundred and fifteen thousand to
- 26:20help John DeJong settle the case over improvements to their
- 26:23private home using public funds when he was governor. It
- 26:26says Cecil DeJong purposely directed and coordinated the payments to
- 26:30defendants or their designees from Epstein's New York bank accounts
- 26:34to her and other defendants. The pseud alleges the individual
- 26:39defendants through emails and calls two individuals in New York
- 26:42solicited denticed Epstein and his co conspirators and wealthy clients
- 26:47to bring business and investment income from New York to
- 26:50the USVII by promising tax breaks, unfedered access to women
- 26:54for purposes of commercial sex acts, tax incentives, privacy and
- 26:59freedom from investigation and or supervision by any and all
- 27:03government agencies, including federal agencies. Through their promised coercion and
- 27:08influence over anyone who could interfere with sex trafficking venture,
- 27:12it says, all defendants derived substantial revenue from these acts
- 27:17one thousand percent. And if this isn't rico, I don't
- 27:20know what is people out here talking about? Rico? This, rico,
- 27:24that bro this is rico. Okay, if you want a
- 27:27case that fits all of the boundaries, that ticks off
- 27:31all of the different lines that need to be ticked off.
- 27:34This is it. This case does not involve mere fraud,
- 27:38according to the amended complaint. Instead, defendant's conduct and obstructing
- 27:42enforcement of the TVPA was outrageous and intentional because it
- 27:47was deliberate further into a widespread and dangerous criminal sex
- 27:50trafficking organization for financial gain and political power. Defendants obstruction
- 27:56also evinced a high degree of moral turpitude and demonstrate
- 28:00such wanton dishonesty as to imply a criminal indifference to
- 28:03civil obligations. It says, so certainly not messing around down
- 28:07here when it comes to this lawsuit. The survivors mean business,
- 28:11and they truly believe that they were wronged by the
- 28:14USVII government and that the USVII government owes them restitution.
- 28:18And guess what, In my opinion, they're right. So let's
- 28:22see what happens here, and let's see if the USVII
- 28:26is finally held to account for their bullshit when it
- 28:29comes to Jeffrey Epstein. All of the information that goes
- 28:33with this episode can be found in the description box
- 28:38and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. The other day,
- 28:42we were discussing the dispute between Epstein's estate and the
- 28:46US Virgin Islands over unpaid bills and the lean that
- 28:51Denise George and the United States Virgin Islands slapped on
- 28:55the estate. Well, now it looks like they're getting close
- 28:58to a resolution to figure all of this out. So
- 29:03let's jump into this article from ABC News and let's
- 29:06see what James Hill has come up with headline, Jeffrey
- 29:10Epstein estate nearing settlement with US Virgin Islands. Attorneys for
- 29:17the estate of notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein told a
- 29:20judge in the US Virgin Islands this week that they
- 29:23are extraordinarily close to resolving a civil case filed by
- 29:26the government of the island territory against the late financier
- 29:30Pedophiles estate, once valued at over six hundred and fifty
- 29:35million dollars. So it looks like Denise George is going
- 29:38to get her wish here, right, She's going to get
- 29:39some money out of this, and the US Virgin Islands
- 29:42is going to get some money out of this. And
- 29:45we'll never have anyone held responsible for setting Jeffrey Epstein up,
- 29:50facilitating these offshore liquid limited type companies will never have
- 29:55any sort of you know, justice for people in that
- 30:00But what we will have is some of the money
- 30:03from the Estates siphoned off and given to the Virgin Islands.
- 30:08And it's ridiculous. I've said it was ridiculous from the
- 30:11jump and I'll keep saying it. All of that money
- 30:14should have went to these survivors. We've been having intense
- 30:19negotiations and talks for settlement. We are very very close,
- 30:23said Gordon Reya, a lawyer for Richard Kahn, a former
- 30:26accountant for Epstein and one of the Estates Co executors.
- 30:30And I think one more push and we could be
- 30:33at the finish line. Boy, I can only imagine what
- 30:35Denise George has seeded to get some of this money.
- 30:39You know, she was going hard with the SECO case.
- 30:41I thought, guess not like usual. It's all posturing and
- 30:45it all comes down to money. That's really what it
- 30:47all comes down to. The News of a potential deal
- 30:51came on Wednesday during a virtual conference in Superior Court
- 30:55in Saint Thomas, where the parties continue to spar over
- 30:59the Estates legal fees and other expenses. The hearing was
- 31:03the first since the case was filed more than two
- 31:05years ago by Denise George, the Attorney General of the
- 31:08US Virgin Islands. How is it that you could file
- 31:11a case two years ago and this is the first
- 31:13time that it's even touching a courtroom. If that doesn't
- 31:17tell you that the whole process is gummed up, that
- 31:19the whole process is backwards, I don't know. What does.
- 31:23How about we get to this stuff in a timely manner,
- 31:26fix it and put it behind us. Instead these courts
- 31:31drag things out for two five ten years. In some accounts,
- 31:34it's ridiculous. Carol Thomas Jacobs, a Deputy Attorney General, acknowledged
- 31:41talks are ongoing and that progress is being made, but
- 31:45said there were a few sticky issues that remain. Oh,
- 31:48I would think so after all of the hype from
- 31:52the Virgin Islands off is, all of the innuendo and
- 31:55accusations that they pumped out there, all of the subpoenas
- 31:58that they filed, this will sure seem like a fizzled
- 32:01out adventure. If they settle here, right, she doesn't pursue
- 32:06it anymore. And what it does, honestly, is it exposes
- 32:11from the beginning that her whole entire motivation was the money.
- 32:14Here was never about making the women whole was never
- 32:17about you know, holding people responsible. It was about collecting
- 32:21a couple of bucks for the Virgin Islands. We remain
- 32:26open to engaging in settlement discussions until there is some resolution,
- 32:29Thomas Jacobs told Superior Court Judge Harold Willocks. We hope
- 32:34we can reach a resolution. Epstein died by suicide allegedly
- 32:38in prison in twenty nineteen while awaiting trial in New
- 32:41York on conspiracy and child sex trafficking charges. The government's
- 32:47case against the estate, filed in January twenty twenty under
- 32:51the US Virgin Islands Racketeering Statute, alleged that Epstein created
- 32:55a network of shell companies, charitable organizations, and individual that
- 33:00participated in and conspired with him in a decade long
- 33:04pattern of criminal activity tied to alleged sex trafficking of
- 33:08minor girls and young women. Now think about that for
- 33:11a minute. This was a suit filed in twenty twenty,
- 33:14a racketeering suit, but only in the civil manner. Now
- 33:18you mean to tell me that we only have enough
- 33:20here for a sec okase and not a RICO case.
- 33:25What are they doing? What is up with the SDNY?
- 33:28What's up with Maureen Comy, you would think that they'd
- 33:32be trying to get that feather in their cap, right. Damn,
- 33:34we took down Epstein and his whole entire network. Who's
- 33:38not going to give you a pat on the back
- 33:39for taking down child molesters. But for some reason they
- 33:43didn't go to the full Monty, did they? We didn't
- 33:45see Rico, We didn't see the full weight, the full
- 33:48power of the government brought to bear on Glen Maxwell.
- 33:53Got to ask yourself why Epstein, through an association with defendants, trafficked, raped,
- 34:01sexually assaulted and held captive underage girls and young women
- 34:05at his properties in the Virgin Islands. The complaint said,
- 34:07So that's a complaint that was originally put in by
- 34:10Denise George and the Virgin Islands. Does that sound like
- 34:13something you're willing to just go to court and settle with.
- 34:16I mean, shouldn't you pursue that to the very ends?
- 34:19If you're the Attorney General? I know if it was me,
- 34:22a settlement would be out of the question here because
- 34:24it's not about the money, it's about the justice. But
- 34:27in the real world where we all happen to live,
- 34:30it's not the case, right it's all about the money.
- 34:36The government also contends that one of Epstein's US Virgin
- 34:39Islands based businesses, Southern Trust Company, misrepresented the nature of
- 34:44its work to fraudently obtain more than seventy three million
- 34:48dollars in tax incentives Fraudentlyuh huh. Who's the one who
- 34:51helped him out with that? Was it just some regular
- 34:54old schmoe or was it an official from the US
- 34:58Virgin Islands? And if it was it was, when's Denise
- 35:02George gonna go after him? When is she going to
- 35:04pursue justice in her own backyard? After filing the lawsuit,
- 35:11George placed leans on all of Epstein's properties, including two
- 35:15private islands off the coast of Saint Thomas, as well
- 35:18as the estates bank accounts, which effectively gave her office
- 35:21control over the estate's money. Over the estate's money, You
- 35:26wonder what it's all about, don't look any further. You
- 35:29know what it's all about. And Denise George gets up
- 35:31there with a lot of platitudes and oh, it's about
- 35:33justice and restitution, but really, let's be honest, it all
- 35:37comes down to securing that bag and making herself look
- 35:41better to the voting populace. We all know she's she's
- 35:44gonna try and run for another office at some point,
- 35:47probably and this will be her launch point. Right. Well,
- 35:50I was able to recoup X amount of dollars from
- 35:54Jeffrey Epstein. Meanwhile, what you're doing is taking money out
- 35:57of the hands of the survivors, and I find that
- 36:00to be absolutely disgusting. The government has since sent dozens
- 36:06of subpoenas to financial institutions and individuals around the world
- 36:10previously associated with Epstein, including billionaire investors Leon Black and
- 36:15Glenn Dubin, as well as Epstein's former paramore, former paramore
- 36:19James Hill, Really bro paramore. How about convicted human trafficker
- 36:24do better, James Hill Glene Maxwell, who was convicted of
- 36:27sex trafficking in federal court late last year. Maxwell has
- 36:31a pending motion for a new trial based on alleged
- 36:34jer misconduct. Well, here's the thing, Okay, Glenn Dubin, Leon Black,
- 36:39all of these guys caught up in this. They should
- 36:42have to answer for this, but they won't because what
- 36:45will happen is they'll be a settlement. Denise George won't
- 36:47ride this out. She'll settle for X amount of dollars
- 36:51and everybody will ride into the sunset happy, because that's
- 36:54how it works when you have money, right, money buys
- 36:57your way out of all of this shit. The one
- 37:00good thing that we can rest our hats on, at
- 37:02least with Leon black anyway, is that Apollo Global is
- 37:07going to take it in the pants over this Russia stuff.
- 37:10They have big time investments with Russia and they're definitely
- 37:13gonna take it in the pants. So is Blackstone. So
- 37:16all of these hedge funds, all of these hedges that
- 37:19are continuously attempting to ruin your life, well they're about
- 37:22to take a little bit of a financial blow. So
- 37:25at least we could take that with us and be
- 37:28happy about that. The estate, which filed a motion to
- 37:35dismiss the government's lawsuit in twenty twenty, has so far
- 37:38refused to engage in any pre trial exchanges of documents,
- 37:42with the government, arguing that it would be wasteful and
- 37:45unnecessary to do so until a court rules on its
- 37:48motion to dismiss the claims. And again, what are we
- 37:51waiting for. I mean, you guys can't be that busy
- 37:54down there. Make a little bit of room clear your schedule.
- 37:57Stop the golf game, whatever it might be. I mean,
- 37:59come on, we're talking two years now. Enough is enough.
- 38:06The government filed an amended complaint late last year and
- 38:10added the estate's co executors Cohn and Epstein's longtime attorney,
- 38:14Darren Endyke as individual defendants, alleging that the pair were
- 38:19indispensable captains in Epstein's criminal organization and had profited substantially
- 38:24from their relationship with Epstein. So again, if you're that
- 38:28confident in all of this, why is it just a
- 38:30SECO case? Why didn't you bring criminal charges against them
- 38:33as well? And I'm sitting here, I asked that question
- 38:38all the time, and all of these wise guys in
- 38:41the legacy media that think they're so goddamn smart have
- 38:44no answers for me, just like they have no answers
- 38:46about Nicholas Tartaglioni. You want to see their eyes glaze over,
- 38:51and you want to see the official narrative pumpers look silly.
- 38:56We'll just start asking questions about Tartaglioni and they don't
- 38:59know what to say about that. They can't point to
- 39:01Bill Barr coming in to tell them what happened. This
- 39:07includes their direct participation and virtually all of the business
- 39:11operations and financial activities of Epstein's trafficking network, including facilitating
- 39:16forced marriages among Epstein's victims to secure their immigration status.
- 39:20George said in a statement early last year, So all
- 39:23of this bad stuff that they're allegedly into, all of
- 39:26this stuff that they're doing, But Denise George's office is
- 39:28willing to go into an office and I mean a
- 39:30settlement with them. Why why don't you just prosecute them.
- 39:38Indike and Khan were selected by Epstein as co executors
- 39:42in a will he updated two days before his death.
- 39:45The documents stipulate that each of them each of them
- 39:48to be paid two hundred and fifty thousand dollars annually
- 39:51for their management of the estate. The two men, through
- 39:54their attorneys, have denied allegations law in the lawsuit and
- 39:57deny any involvement in misconduct by Epstein. So two hundred
- 40:01and fifty thousand dollars seems to be the standard amount
- 40:05that Epstein was piping off to the Core four and
- 40:08his assistance. Now, I'm sure there was some gravy on
- 40:11top of those, on top of the mashed potatoes at times,
- 40:14but it looks like two hundred and fifty grand was
- 40:16the base pay for the scuzz bags around them. So
- 40:19I guess the going rate in New York to sell
- 40:21your soul is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Daniel Wiener,
- 40:27perfect name for this clown, an attorney for the co executors,
- 40:30told ABC News by email in twenty twenty one that
- 40:33Endike and Khn categorically reject the allegations of misconduct made
- 40:38for the first time today by the Attorney General of
- 40:40the Virgin Islands regarding their purported roles in the so
- 40:44called Epstein enterprise. You know it's so condescending, the so
- 40:47called Epstein's enterprise, bro, The estage is paid out of
- 40:50bazillion trillion dollars. The fuck you mean so called stop
- 40:55with the so called stop with the wordsmithing. People are
- 40:58tired of it. Tired of it. Regular people, you know,
- 41:00the working class, the proletariat us. Yeah, we're tired of
- 41:04your bullshit. Neither mister Indike nor mister Kahan had any
- 41:12involvement in any misconduct by mister Epstein of any kind
- 41:15at any time. Wiener wrote, what about the structuring that
- 41:18Indyke did? What about all the trips to Western Union
- 41:21and the money taking out at ninety five hundred dollars
- 41:23ninety nine hundred dollars trying to beat ctr I mean,
- 41:29come on, man, this is just ridiculous. You could all
- 41:32of this stuff that they say you can disprove literally
- 41:35right away if you've been following this case. So how
- 41:37do they get away with saying this kind of stuff
- 41:40in court with? It is enormously regrettable that the Attorney
- 41:46General chose to level false allegations and to unfairly malign
- 41:50the co executor's reputation without any proof or a factual
- 41:54basis to do so. Let me ask you a question.
- 41:57Whose signature was on all of those transactions. Who was
- 42:00Jeffrey Epstein's in house lawyer. We all know it was Dyke.
- 42:05He was running around making pretend he was Tom Hagen,
- 42:07like Epstein was Don Corleone. Fuck Addy here, man, act
- 42:11like you have no responsibility, that you had no idea
- 42:14what was going on. You're the dude that was looking
- 42:16at the financials, homie. You're one of the guiltiest of
- 42:19all in my opinion. The government's attorney Thomas Jacobs expressed
- 42:24concern during the hearing that the estate's value had been
- 42:27greatly diminished over the last two years, and described some
- 42:31of the expenses of the estate, including more than fifteen
- 42:34million dollars in legal fees to date, as extremely outrageous.
- 42:39Since its initial valuation of six hundred and fifty six million,
- 42:42the estate's coffers have dwindled dwindled to one hundred and
- 42:46sixty six million, according to the estate's most recent accounting
- 42:50in probate court. Again, how are you going to have
- 42:53one hundred and sixty six million dollars left? And some
- 42:55of these survivors only got pennies on the dollar. We're
- 42:59gonna have to go back and revisit that compensation fund
- 43:02at some point, and we're gonna have to talk about
- 43:04that a little bit more because this is crazy. Now.
- 43:07I could see if every single dollar had been distributed,
- 43:11then it's one thing, but that's not the case. We
- 43:19are absolutely concerned that in the end there will be
- 43:22no money left for the people of the Virgin Islands.
- 43:25She said, there you go, and that is the motivation.
- 43:28How long have I been telling you guys that that's
- 43:30the motivation? Since jump Street, right, I could sniff somebody
- 43:34trying to secure a bag. Folks, me and my big
- 43:37ass nose sniff that right out. You can call me
- 43:39Nostril dmis She was all about that bag from Jump Street.
- 43:43It's never been about justice, because if it was about justice,
- 43:46she would have filed criminal charges against these clowns. Those
- 43:51comments drew a sharp rebuke from the estate attorney Mark Weinstein,
- 43:55who noted that the estate had paid one hundred and
- 43:57seventy five million dollars in tax and the one hundred
- 44:01and fifty million to Epstein's survivors, which he said accounted
- 44:04for the bulk of the estate's expenses over the last
- 44:07two years. I assume nobody on the government's side is
- 44:11saying we shouldn't pay the taxes and we shouldn't pay
- 44:13it out to the survivors, Weinstein said. They just keep
- 44:16throwing out the numbers to make it sound bad. Oh
- 44:19here's an idea. The government should have backed the fuck off.
- 44:22First of all, God forbid, they don't get their taste right.
- 44:25You know what's crazy about the government. At what point
- 44:27did we get to the spot we're in where if
- 44:30I have a chicken and you have some carrots, and
- 44:33I want to trade you some chicken for those carrots.
- 44:35Why does the government have to have a piece of that?
- 44:37All right, Sorry, that's for a different rant, I guess.
- 44:39But the point is this. The government should have taken
- 44:42a step back and let the survivors get paid out
- 44:45what they're due, and then if there was anything left
- 44:48after that, then seize the whole entire thing and get
- 44:50your couple of bucks for your drifting. But I feel
- 44:54the same way about the United States government as I
- 44:57do about the government down in the Virgin Islands. Got
- 45:00all the chance in the world to stop this. Dude,
- 45:02You let this happen for how long? Now you want
- 45:04to talk about financial compensation for the government, the fuck
- 45:08out of here. The estate recently filed an emergency motion
- 45:13of a release of one point three million in legal
- 45:16fees incurred primarily for mediation with Epstein's survivors, that the
- 45:20government has thus far declined to pay, according to court records.
- 45:24Oh the government not paying its bills, whoud a thought.
- 45:27In a statement to ABC News, George declined to comment
- 45:30on the status of negotiations, but said the government is determined,
- 45:34among other things, to address tax benefits that Epstein fraudently
- 45:38obtained from the government and people of the Virgin Islands,
- 45:42and to protect assets for Epstein survivors who may want
- 45:46who may not have resolved their civil claims. Yeah, let's
- 45:49just throw that in there as a little bonus, right,
- 45:51make me look a little bit better. We know it's
- 45:53not about the survivors, Denise George, just be real. I'd
- 45:56respect that more if she just come out and say,
- 45:58what's what I really want to make things right down
- 46:01in the Virgin Islands. Why don't you go after the
- 46:03people who helped Epstein facilitate all of this. Is anybody
- 46:07gonna get arrested? I mean, come on, man. Georgia's statement
- 46:13noted that the estate has also refused to disclose the
- 46:16details of several trusts established by Epstein, including the nineteen
- 46:20fifty three trust, the sole entity listed in Epstein's last
- 46:24will and testament. The beneficiaries of that trust have not
- 46:28been publicly disclosed. Boy, I can't wait to see that.
- 46:32I cannot wait to see who is on that list.
- 46:35These concerns, along with the alleged conduct of the co
- 46:38executors and facilitating Epstein's conduct, including through marriages allegedly forced
- 46:44upon his survivors, raised significant concerns about the appropriateness of
- 46:48their management of the estate. George wrote, Yeah, no shit,
- 46:52I could have told you that from the beginning that
- 46:53this was a bad idea. Given the reported progress in
- 47:01settlement talks, Willox placed the case on hold for at
- 47:04least ninety days to allow for the parties to try
- 47:07to reach a negotiated resolution. He set a hearing for
- 47:10early May on the dispute over the legal fees. Weinstein, however,
- 47:15predicted that the case could be resolved without the need
- 47:18to be in court again. Of course it could be.
- 47:20That's the point. That's the point. Denise George wanted to
- 47:22flex and get some do here, and now she's backed
- 47:24these dudes into a corner and they're like, you know what,
- 47:27let's just pay Let's just pay it out and be
- 47:28done with it. The case is unbelievably close to resolution,
- 47:32he told the judge. I think if the parties focus
- 47:35on that effort, this will be done and you probably
- 47:38won't see us again unless they don't pay our fees
- 47:41and our expenses. That's the only reason we're going to
- 47:44be before you, all right, So look, here's the deal.
- 47:48We don't know which way this is going to go
- 47:50down in the Virgin Islands yet, right, still a lot
- 47:52more to be revealed. But one thing I will tell
- 47:56you is it's rather obvious, at least to me, that
- 47:59Denise Jorge or just not really too interested in justice here.
- 48:02She's only interested in securing some funds. She's only interested
- 48:06in getting her taste for quote unquote the Virgin Islands.
- 48:10And for me, that's just ridiculous. The idea as an
- 48:13attorney general should be to get justice, to indict these
- 48:17people and put them in prison, not to be engaged
- 48:21in this civil suit and grand standing with all of
- 48:24these subpoenas. So you just sent all of that stuff
- 48:26out for what to press these guys, and you'd have
- 48:29no intention to follow through with any of it. Let's
- 48:32see a nice, hearty, robust investigation into all of these
- 48:37people and their finances. Boy, wouldn't that be nice? All right, folks,
- 48:43That is going to do it for the morning update.
