- 0:00Speaker 1: Woo!
- 0:01Speaker 2: Stu Gatz.
- 0:01Speaker 1: Woo!
- 0:02Speaker 3: I got to be honest with you, Bruce, there's a
- 0:03Speaker 3: good chance I'd be high anyway.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Woo! And I'm wondering how the football weekend was. Were
- 0:07Speaker 2: you able to watch it? Wow, what happened? Oh, I'm
- 0:11Speaker 2: tired of him. I'm serious. How about that?
- 0:14Speaker 4: In company. We are mother shuckers, baby.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Woo!
- 0:17Speaker 1: Bruce, does Faison Brandon's name sound like it's on backwards?
- 0:20Speaker 2: No doubt.
- 0:21Speaker 1: It's time to get your.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It's time to get your financial. To get the all boat.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You got nothing right there.
- 0:29Speaker 1: This is not going well.
- 0:31Speaker 2: This is Stu Gotts and company. Stu, back to you. Taylor,
- 0:35Speaker 2: put it on the poll, please.
- 0:37Speaker 3: If you lose to Tennessee at home, should the GM
- 0:41Speaker 3: be fired the next day?
- 0:44Speaker 1: That AFC South, Mikey.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 0:46Speaker 1: You're looking at the quarterbacks in that division. There's a
- 0:49Speaker 1: clear hierarchy. It's C.J. Stroud, Trevor Lawrence. You can debate one, two,
- 0:53Speaker 1: however you want. Then I think it's Cam Ward, and
- 0:57Speaker 1: then I think it's Daniel Jones.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Because once you lose to the Tennessee Titans.
- 1:02Speaker 1: And that Sauce Gardner trade is getting worse and worse
- 1:06Speaker 1: by the week.
- 1:07Speaker 2: No doubt about it. Better and better for the New
- 1:08Speaker 2: York Jets.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Correct. Yes.
- 1:10Speaker 3: We have a lot going on. It was a great
- 1:12Speaker 3: football weekend. There's a lot to get to. We'll do
- 1:15Speaker 3: college football with Joel Anderson. We'll have Gino Toretto on later.
- 1:18Speaker 3: We have the weekend observations coming up later in this hour.
- 1:23Speaker 3: And we also have the college football show. Guys, Saturday
- 1:26Speaker 3: was so good, and we tend to forget about Saturdays
- 1:29Speaker 3: because Sunday happens.
- 1:31Speaker 2: But I'm still thinking about Saturday.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I don't know about you guys, but Saturday was as
- 1:35Speaker 3: good as it gets for college football.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So after that slate of games on Saturday, In the
- 1:41Speaker 1: Oregon-Nebraska game, that was way too late. Like, that game
- 1:44Speaker 1: was going on until like 2 a.m.
- 1:46Speaker 2: In the morning. Crazy.
- 1:47Speaker 1: That game finished, and I was dizzy. I was dizzy
- 1:50Speaker 1: thinking about how much football I watched, where five of
- 1:54Speaker 1: the top eight teams in the country lose for like
- 1:56Speaker 1: the first time in college football history. Yes. That weekend
- 2:01Speaker 1: was exhausting.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It was. Mikey, were you glued to your couch on Saturday?
- 2:06Speaker 2: I mean.
- 2:08Speaker 5: I almost think this was a deal between college football
- 2:11Speaker 5: and the NFL because the slate we got on Sunday
- 2:15Speaker 5: wasn't great.
- 2:15Speaker 4: And they're like, listen, why don't you go ahead.
- 2:18Speaker 5: And take October 17th for yourself? You go ahead and
- 2:21Speaker 5: put all these good games.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Make them good. We'll give you a bunch of upsets.
- 2:25Speaker 4: And then we'll kind of back off a little bit
- 2:27Speaker 4: on Sunday.
- 2:28Speaker 5: We'll give you that weekend. I couldn't stop watching. My
- 2:33Speaker 5: wife walked in while I had the TVs on. And
- 2:35Speaker 5: she goes, that is a lot of football going on.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I go, yeah. And it's all good. This is all
- 2:42Speaker 4: great football.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Warranted, yes. I need more TVs.
- 2:47Speaker 5: I've changed who I want the Jets to draft seven
- 2:50Speaker 5: times on Saturday. The only one I can for sure
- 2:54Speaker 5: say is I don't want Arch Manning. Um, it was,
- 2:58Speaker 5: it was, it was everything that we hope we don't
- 3:03Speaker 5: lose when they go to a 2014 playoff.
- 3:05Speaker 2: But we will.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So I spent all last week railing against the 2014 playoff,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but then I had the thought when I'm watching the
- 3:13Speaker 1: college football games this week.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Some of those, some of those games don't matter where
- 3:17Speaker 1: Texas loses. Texas is probably still in a 2014 playoff,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but the flip side of that, I think my North
- 3:23Speaker 1: Carolina Tar Heels are in a 2014 playoff.
- 3:26Speaker 2: They might be. Yeah. So now you're a fan of it.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 1: If it benefits me, I'm a fan of it. Mikey,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I had the saddest viewing experience for this North Carolina
- 3:36Speaker 1: Duke game because I go home. It's my niece's baptism.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I go home for the weekend and I'm watching it
- 3:43Speaker 1: at a bar and. it's a great three 30 slate.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It's like Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Ole Miss. I think the
- 3:51Speaker 1: Florida Texas game was in that window.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah. And all these games are close by the way.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yes.
- 3:55Speaker 1: All these games are close and they're on the TV
- 3:58Speaker 1: in the bar. And I'm looking around at the bar.
- 3:59Speaker 1: There's so many TVs. None of them are on the
- 4:02Speaker 1: battle for the victory bell, Duke Carolina. And I whisper
- 4:05Speaker 1: under my breath to the bartender. I say, Hey, Can
- 4:08Speaker 1: you turn on the Duke Carolina game, please? He goes,
- 4:11Speaker 1: college basketball started?
- 4:16Speaker 2: You had the Ole Miss-Missouri game going on. That was
- 4:18Speaker 2: a blowout. You did have Texas and Florida going on.
- 4:22Speaker 3: That game was close. So you had to whisper to
- 4:25Speaker 3: the bartender because you were so embarrassed that you were
- 4:27Speaker 3: asking for UNC-Duke college football on a Saturday afternoon where
- 4:32Speaker 3: everything's happening that you had to whisper it?
- 4:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It was humbling.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Taylor, Taylor, that's a game. You just got to stay
- 4:40Speaker 4: home and watch. That's a game. That's a game.
- 4:43Speaker 5: You just give up on the bar and you just go,
- 4:45Speaker 5: I'm going to, I'm going to just go in my house,
- 4:48Speaker 5: put on some, put, put on UNC Duke, watch it
- 4:51Speaker 5: in my underwear and drink a beer alone.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Or Shirley Temple.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It was such a great slate.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Indiana, I mean, gee. What an amazing, amazing Saturday. But
- 5:05Speaker 3: let's talk about Sunday. Enough about Saturday. Taylor, did he
- 5:08Speaker 3: get the game on?
- 5:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 2: He did.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Were other people complaining about the game? Like, hey, why
- 5:12Speaker 3: is Carolina Duke on one of these TVs?
- 5:15Speaker 1: No, there were so many things on the TV. Like
- 5:17Speaker 1: Big 12 Volleyball was on, and I was like, come on.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We could afford to get rid of this TV and
- 5:23Speaker 1: put on Duke Carolina.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yep.
- 5:25Speaker 2: What were your big takeaways?
- 5:26Speaker 3: We'll get to Jalen Hurts here in just a second.
- 5:28Speaker 2: What were your takeaways, Mikey, here from the NFL over
- 5:31Speaker 2: the weekend?
- 5:33Speaker 5: Things are unraveling in Indianapolis, as we saw with them
- 5:38Speaker 5: firing their GM, and that's what happens when you lose
- 5:40Speaker 5: at home to Cam Ward, who, by the way, despite
- 5:44Speaker 5: a win, was still somehow at the corner of third
- 5:46Speaker 5: and long.
- 5:47Speaker 2: That's where he lives.
- 5:50Speaker 5: I think the Rams might be I mean, like, it
- 5:57Speaker 5: was hard to watch. And the other thing that stood
- 6:00Speaker 5: out to me, again, the Raiders showed me something in
- 6:03Speaker 5: a loss.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Yes.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Like, when they win, I'm kind of like, ah, good
- 6:08Speaker 5: for them. But when they lose, I'm kind of like,
- 6:10Speaker 5: this Raiders team is actually pretty good.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Because they went toe-to-toe with Buffalo.
- 6:14Speaker 4: It was awesome.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Yep.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Buffalo left the back door wide open. Kirk Cousins walked
- 6:17Speaker 3: right through it.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I mean.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, he did.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah. That one hurt.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:26Speaker 4: That one did hurt.
- 6:26Speaker 2: You see that play by Josh Allen, by the way? Oh,
- 6:31Speaker 2: my God.
- 6:31Speaker 1: This is what I thought of Mikey A when I'm
- 6:34Speaker 1: watching football this weekend. I'm watching Raiders bills. Josh Allen
- 6:40Speaker 1: throws that backhanded flip pass to Keon Coleman. And I said,
- 6:44Speaker 1: do you know how miserable you have to be as
- 6:48Speaker 1: a person to not enjoy what we're watching when Josh
- 6:51Speaker 1: Allen is out on a football field?
- 6:52Speaker 2: He's incredible.
- 6:57Speaker 5: I think I think you're misinterpreting what I mean. I
- 7:00Speaker 5: don't like the man. I don't like he's amazing with
- 7:03Speaker 5: what he does on the football field. That's not even
- 7:05Speaker 5: that's not even debatable. The things he does is is amazing.
- 7:09Speaker 5: That's why I hate him so much, because when he flops,
- 7:13Speaker 5: when he does all that ref begging, when he does
- 7:16Speaker 5: all that.
- 7:17Speaker 4: I've been shot. I've been shot. I fell down. Oh,
- 7:20Speaker 4: my God, because the guy breathed on me wrong.
- 7:23Speaker 5: I go, I just watch you do things that no
- 7:26Speaker 5: man should be able to do on a football field.
- 7:29Speaker 4: You don't need to do that also.
- 7:31Speaker 1: The point is, though, Mikey, you put up with everything
- 7:35Speaker 1: that comes with the Josh Allen experience because he's going
- 7:38Speaker 1: to give you plays like that where if you told
- 7:41Speaker 1: me I could only watch one player's highlights in the
- 7:44Speaker 1: NFL for the rest of my life.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Josh Allen.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I think I'm taking Josh Allen. It's either Josh Allen
- 7:48Speaker 1: or Bijan Robinson, probably.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Put it on the poll if you can watch one
- 7:52Speaker 3: NFL player's highlights for the remainder of time. Josh Allen,
- 7:55Speaker 3: Bijan Robinson. I'm not even certain Bijan enters that discussion
- 7:59Speaker 3: for me.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Or Travis Hunter.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I mean... Travis Hunter has plays.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Had a day. He had a day.
- 8:06Speaker 2: The Texans are back. Oh, yeah. He's big time.
- 8:11Speaker 5: I got into an argument with a friend when the
- 8:13Speaker 5: Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Travis Hunter, and he literally said, what's
- 8:17Speaker 5: he going to do? Catch a touchdown and then have
- 8:19Speaker 5: an interception on the other end.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Of the field?
- 8:21Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:21Speaker 5: And when it happened, I literally texted him. Remember what
- 8:24Speaker 5: you asked me? The answer is, yup.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yep.
- 8:28Speaker 4: And I just got back a middle finger emoji.
- 8:31Speaker 3: There are three undefeated teams in the NFL. The Chiefs,
- 8:35Speaker 3: the Niners, the Vikings. The Browns are in first place.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Six weeks into the season, the Cleveland Browns are in
- 8:43Speaker 3: first place. I know the Steelers won. They're both 4-2.
- 8:47Speaker 3: And Baltimore is also 4-2. Taylor, is it you?
- 8:51Speaker 2: Were you telling me over the weekend you're done with
- 8:53Speaker 2: the Cowboys?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Or last night?
- 8:55Speaker 1: The Cowboys. The Cowboys. I went into that game trying
- 8:58Speaker 1: to give the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt, saying,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know, Joey Porter Jr.
- 9:01Speaker 4: 's back.
- 9:02Speaker 1: They should come in motivated and rested, having not played
- 9:07Speaker 1: since last Thursday when they got embarrassed by the Tampa
- 9:09Speaker 1: Bay Buccaneers. And it's like, no, here come the Cowboys.
- 9:12Speaker 1: They're going to get just as embarrassed as last time
- 9:15Speaker 1: we saw them on the field where they can't stop
- 9:17Speaker 1: the run. They can't cover. They can't rush the passer.
- 9:21Speaker 1: They can't tackle, though. Other than that, Cowboys are pretty good.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Where are they now?
- 9:28Speaker 3: They're two and four in the NFC East. I think
- 9:31Speaker 3: they're still the favorites to win that division.
- 9:33Speaker 4: The wide open NFC East. They're the favorites.
- 9:40Speaker 1: If the Commanders lose tonight against the 49ers, which you
- 9:44Speaker 1: would expect, they're like plus 360 on the money line.
- 9:50Speaker 1: So the Commanders could win. It would be a pretty
- 9:53Speaker 1: sizable upset if the Commanders do win, though. If the
- 9:57Speaker 1: Commanders lose tonight, the NFC East would be the first
- 10:00Speaker 1: division since the merger with every team playing in back-to-back
- 10:04Speaker 1: weeks and none of them winning.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Yep.
- 10:07Speaker 4: I would just say this.
- 10:08Speaker 5: It's been 11 straight primetime games now that the underdog
- 10:12Speaker 5: has won outright.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I mean, yesterday it was like a 50-50.
- 10:14Speaker 4: It was a one and a half point. It was
- 10:16Speaker 4: a one and a half point spread. That's fine. Underdog
- 10:19Speaker 4: still won.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Stu, I saw this stat that kind of highlights. I
- 10:23Speaker 1: was talking to one of my friends yesterday. The Packers
- 10:26Speaker 1: should have just knelt the ball on first and second
- 10:28Speaker 1: down and then just take their chances against the Cowboys
- 10:31Speaker 1: on third down because the Cowboys have the worst third
- 10:34Speaker 1: down defense I've ever seen where teams are now converting 50%
- 10:37Speaker 1: of third and nine attempts against, third and nine plus
- 10:42Speaker 1: attempts against the Cowboys this season.
- 10:45Speaker 4: 50%.
- 10:45Speaker 1: League average is 21%. When you have the Cowboys third
- 10:49Speaker 1: and long, you've got them right where you want them.
- 10:52Speaker 2: So you try to get them third and long? Exactly. Right.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. I need to see Cam Ward against the Cowboys.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I need to see it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Something would have to get.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I need to see it.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Because he's always there and they want to force Dallas
- 11:03Speaker 3: in the third and long.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And in the Cowboys offense, it's like, you know, going
- 11:08Speaker 1: into a game, the Cowboys defense is going to be
- 11:10Speaker 1: pretty bad, but you're holding out hope that the offense
- 11:13Speaker 1: is going to be their saving grace. Their offense against
- 11:16Speaker 1: that Packers defense, the Jonathan Gannon Packers defense, their offense
- 11:20Speaker 1: looked lost. Where you have CeeDee Lamb slipping, Dax throwing interceptions,
- 11:24Speaker 1: Jake Ferguson's nowhere to be found. This offense, you can
- 11:29Speaker 1: make the argument that Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb are
- 11:31Speaker 1: two of the most overrated players in maybe NFL history
- 11:35Speaker 1: because that Cowboys team never amounts to anything.
- 11:39Speaker 3: I think Dak is one of the most overrated players
- 11:41Speaker 3: in NFL history. There's that CD. CD lamb is very,
- 11:44Speaker 3: very good. I wouldn't say that he's overrated. I would
- 11:47Speaker 3: say when you're the quarterback of the Cowboys, you're getting
- 11:49Speaker 3: paid that much money. You need to be better. You
- 11:51Speaker 3: need to be, but your team needs to be better.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Dak individually has had some great seasons. The team has
- 11:57Speaker 3: never had any sort of, I guess, long-term success gone
- 12:00Speaker 3: deep into the playoffs with Dak Prescott as their quarterback.
- 12:03Speaker 3: And so, yes, for those reasons, I do think that
- 12:05Speaker 3: he is overrated.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Mikey, is that fair?
- 12:08Speaker 5: It's absolutely fair, and I would also ask the question,
- 12:11Speaker 5: did George Pickens just decide to stop playing football? I mean,
- 12:15Speaker 5: I know he takes plays off. If you watch the game,
- 12:17Speaker 5: just try and zero in on George Pickens.
- 12:20Speaker 4: There was a.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Play where CeeDee Lamb has the ball and he's running
- 12:23Speaker 5: next to him, and George Pickens is literally standing there
- 12:27Speaker 5: watching him get tackled. Not throwing a block, not doing anything.
- 12:31Speaker 5: George Pickens came off a career year And he's just done.
- 12:37Speaker 5: He's just decided to check out.
- 12:40Speaker 1: So my bigger problem with the Cowboys is just the
- 12:42Speaker 1: narrative around this team always and being America's team. And
- 12:46Speaker 1: they're always in primetime where the Cowboys are 1-7-1 in
- 12:49Speaker 1: primetime games since 2025.
- 12:50Speaker 2: It's like.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Enough. Get these guys off of our screen. Leave them
- 12:57Speaker 1: for the four o'clock window.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Not even 425.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I don't even want to.
- 13:01Speaker 4: 405.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah. The Cowboys should be.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Kicking off every game at 405 where the next time
- 13:06Speaker 1: we see the Cowboys play, it's going to be a
- 13:08Speaker 1: Monday night football game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Like these
- 13:11Speaker 1: games should be able to be flexed out of here
- 13:13Speaker 1: because nobody wants to watch Tanner McKee versus this Dak
- 13:16Speaker 1: Prescott Cowboys team.
- 13:29Speaker 2: You mentioned Tanner McGee.
- 13:30Speaker 3: We should mention that Jalen Hurts, the news broke this morning,
- 13:33Speaker 3: they found blood clots in his lungs.
- 13:35Speaker 2: He will be out.
- 13:36Speaker 3: That, according to Adam Schefter, he'll be out for the
- 13:38Speaker 3: remainder of the season. And so we wish him well.
- 13:42Speaker 3: We spoke about it when it happened. That could be
- 13:45Speaker 3: a career ender for Jalen Hurts. That's interesting on its own.
- 13:50Speaker 3: One of the other interesting parts is what happened with
- 13:52Speaker 3: Andy Dalton. Did he have an opportunity to go to
- 13:55Speaker 3: Philadelphia and turn down that opportunity?
- 13:57Speaker 2: Because Andy Dalton would be starting in Philadelphia.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah, so the Eagles released Andy Dalton in the lead-up
- 14:04Speaker 1: to the London game because they needed to free up
- 14:06Speaker 1: a roster space. So then when Jalen Hurts goes down,
- 14:09Speaker 1: the assumption is Andy Dalton, who came in for Jalen
- 14:14Speaker 1: Hurts in relief, was just going to step right back
- 14:16Speaker 1: into that starting role and you don't have to play
- 14:18Speaker 1: Tanner McKee. Andy Dalton, Mikey, it looks like he just said,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'd rather go be Atlanta's third string quarterback than have
- 14:24Speaker 1: a chance to compete in Philadelphia.
- 14:27Speaker 5: And for the record, the Eagles did reach back out
- 14:29Speaker 5: to him and told him, hey, we're interested in bringing
- 14:32Speaker 5: you back now that all this has happened. So he
- 14:35Speaker 5: knew that there was a spot for him to possibly start.
- 14:39Speaker 5: If nothing else, you're a backup to a, to a
- 14:41Speaker 5: young player who is unproven.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:43Speaker 5: And they said, we want you back. And he said,
- 14:47Speaker 5: I know a sinking ship when I see one. I'm
- 14:49Speaker 5: going to go to Atlanta where things are right.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Well, how about you be the guy that saves the
- 14:53Speaker 3: sinking ship? I mean, it's your last opportunity.
- 14:56Speaker 2: What do you mean no?
- 14:57Speaker 1: You're not giving him any tools to stop the sinking ship.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Right. Barkley's hurt. Devontae Smith is hurt. The whole team
- 15:04Speaker 2: is hurt.
- 15:05Speaker 1: What you're doing is sending Andy Dalton on a sinking
- 15:07Speaker 1: ship and just handing him a mop and saying– Good
- 15:11Speaker 1: luck trying.
- 15:11Speaker 2: To figure this out.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Here's a violin and a mop.
- 15:16Speaker 2: The red mop.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I am so confused with this Jalen Hurts situation because
- 15:22Speaker 1: the more information comes out, the scarier it sounds for
- 15:25Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts.
- 15:26Speaker 2: It makes you wonder why he even played in the
- 15:28Speaker 2: first place.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Why he played in that London game where Jalen Hurts
- 15:31Speaker 1: was told by doctors not to sleep after his initial
- 15:35Speaker 1: diagnosis of a superficial blood clot while in London. Hurts
- 15:39Speaker 1: stayed awake for roughly 36 hours before playing against the
- 15:43Speaker 1: Jaguars and starting in that game. I don't know how doctors, again.
- 15:47Speaker 2: We're not doctors.
- 15:47Speaker 1: We're not doctors.
- 15:48Speaker 2: We love doctors. We love doctors.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Yes.
- 15:50Speaker 1: We respect doctors. I respect doctors a little less after
- 15:54Speaker 1: this because I don't understand how you're telling your starting quarterback,
- 15:58Speaker 1: You cannot go to sleep because it's so dangerous.
- 16:01Speaker 2: But you can play in a football game.
- 16:02Speaker 4: But what you're going to.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Do is strap on your pads and play a game
- 16:06Speaker 1: in a couple of days.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I don't mean to laugh, but it is staggering. What
- 16:10Speaker 3: Taylor just said is staggering. Hey, you can't sleep, but
- 16:14Speaker 3: that violent game you play out on that field, you
- 16:16Speaker 3: can do that. Just don't sleep. From now until you
- 16:20Speaker 3: have to go out on that field, don't sleep a wink.
- 16:23Speaker 3: What is going on here, man?
- 16:25Speaker 2: This is crazy.
- 16:27Speaker 5: They're more worried about you napping on the sideline than
- 16:29Speaker 5: they are about you getting hit by a 300-pound defensive lineman.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Taylor, put it on the poll.
- 16:35Speaker 3: If your doctor told you you can play football but
- 16:37Speaker 3: you can't sleep, would you get a new doctor? Again,
- 16:42Speaker 3: don't want to laugh, but that is a question that
- 16:44Speaker 3: needs to be asked because I would. So wait, I
- 16:48Speaker 3: can't sleep, which by all accounts is something that you do.
- 16:52Speaker 2: It's healthy.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Especially after traveling across the country from Philadelphia to London.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of the analogy here where a
- 17:01Speaker 3: doctor is telling you like, hey, you could smoke the
- 17:04Speaker 3: cigarettes because it's absolutely ridiculous for a doctor to tell
- 17:10Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts after that flight, don't sleep, but you can
- 17:13Speaker 3: play football.
- 17:13Speaker 2: And it begs the question. Why did Jalen Hurts play
- 17:16Speaker 2: football in that game? And we'll see.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I'm certain people are going to start looking into it
- 17:20Speaker 3: if they haven't already. Do you guys have any faith
- 17:23Speaker 3: here in the Browns or the Steelers winning that division?
- 17:27Speaker 3: Keep in mind that division also has the Ravens and
- 17:30Speaker 3: the Cincinnati Bengals who are on a bye week.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I think the Browns could win the division. Really? I
- 17:36Speaker 1: have more faith in the Browns than the Steelers. And
- 17:39Speaker 1: I think what I'm doing there is just I refuse
- 17:42Speaker 1: to give the Steelers team any credit. because of Aaron
- 17:45Speaker 1: Rodgers being an old quarterback and basically being a statue.
- 17:49Speaker 1: And then you have the images yesterday, Mikey, of Mike
- 17:51Speaker 1: McCarthy limping around the field where it's like, I have
- 17:55Speaker 1: a hard time taking Mike McCarthy seriously.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I think Aaron Rodgers did at one point in his
- 18:02Speaker 3: career as well.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I think he still doesn't take him seriously.
- 18:06Speaker 2: He doesn't listen to a word he says.
- 18:09Speaker 1: But at least the Browns and Steelers both have pretty
- 18:14Speaker 1: strong defenses that they can lean on. With the Browns,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I just trust their young weapons more than I think
- 18:20Speaker 1: I would trust the Steelers' weapons, where I like Denzel Boston,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I like Casey Concepcion, I like Harold Fannin, Judkins at
- 18:28Speaker 1: the running back position. It just feels like there's more
- 18:31Speaker 1: safe pieces on that Browns offense to carry them to wins.
- 18:37Speaker 5: It's a mental block, but I can't for the life
- 18:41Speaker 5: of me see us in December talking about the Cleveland
- 18:44Speaker 5: Browns football team or the Pittsburgh Steelers football team for
- 18:47Speaker 5: that matter, being real playoff contenders. They're winning. They're atop
- 18:54Speaker 5: the division. We're now six games in. They're four and two.
- 18:57Speaker 5: But I can't get past the uniform, the logo, the quarterbacks.
- 19:02Speaker 5: I can't get past any of it to say– Yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 4: No, these are teams that, that are, that are going
- 19:07Speaker 4: to be in the playoff.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Like I'm still waiting for the four and two Ravens
- 19:12Speaker 5: and Lamar to be like, Oh, here we are.
- 19:14Speaker 4: We're good.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yes. Or the three and two Bengals.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Yes.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I'm with you on that.
- 19:17Speaker 1: The problem though, Mikey is you need, you need teams
- 19:20Speaker 1: to get into the playoffs. You're looking around the, the AFC,
- 19:24Speaker 1: you would assume the bills and the Patriots, the rest
- 19:26Speaker 1: of that division is dead. The jets are dead. The
- 19:28Speaker 1: dolphins are dead.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Aaron Glenn is dead too.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:31Speaker 3: The AFC North.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Very well could get maybe four teams because, again, you're
- 19:37Speaker 1: looking at the AFC South. Maybe the Texans can get
- 19:41Speaker 1: all the way back, but right now it seems like
- 19:43Speaker 1: the Jaguars are going to be in that playoff field.
- 19:46Speaker 1: The AFC West, it's the Chiefs.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I still really.
- 19:50Speaker 1: don't have a ton of faith in the Broncos just
- 19:51Speaker 1: because I don't like Bo Nix and their offensive outlook.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I have faith in that team only because the rest
- 19:56Speaker 2: of the conference stinks.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yes, and then it was the Raiders, but the Raiders
- 20:01Speaker 1: are fading fast and quickly where If you're telling me, like,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I know the Giants went out and got J.J. McCarthy
- 20:07Speaker 1: and threw him into the action.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Oh, he looked good.
- 20:10Speaker 1: If you're the Giants.
- 20:11Speaker 4: He really did.
- 20:12Speaker 2: He's going to be the starter next week, guaranteed.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Listen, am I saying it's going to continue?
- 20:17Speaker 1: No.
- 20:17Speaker 4: But he looked good.
- 20:18Speaker 2: But I'm saying he's going to be the starter next week.
- 20:20Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. I'm reporting it exclusively before Schefter does. J.J. McCarthy.
- 20:24Speaker 2: will be the Giants' starting quarterback next week.
- 20:26Speaker 5: J.J.
- 20:27Speaker 1: McCarthy came in there and threw an interception so fast,
- 20:30Speaker 1: and then the Saints are just in prevent defense. He's
- 20:33Speaker 1: just racking up garbage time yards. He had so many
- 20:37Speaker 1: turnover-worthy plays, but my point was going to be, since
- 20:40Speaker 1: the Raiders are fading, if I'm the Giants before that
- 20:43Speaker 1: trade deadline, I'm kind of talking myself into Kirk Cousins.
- 20:48Speaker 2: How are you?
- 20:49Speaker 1: Because I think you're starting to get to the point
- 20:51Speaker 1: with the Raiders where the Raiders are falling out of contention.
- 20:54Speaker 1: It's like, Why don't we recoup some kind of value
- 20:57Speaker 1: for Kirk Cousins and start Fernando Mendoza to see what
- 21:00Speaker 1: Fernando Mendoza has? Where when you're 3-0, it's hard to
- 21:04Speaker 1: talk about getting your rookie quarterback there.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It's easier at 3-3. I understand that.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Much easier at 3-3.
- 21:09Speaker 2: But don't you want to have Cousins around there just
- 21:11Speaker 2: for insurance? I mean.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Insurance for what, though? Mendoza not being good. You're contending
- 21:15Speaker 3: for a playoff spot here in a weak AFC.
- 21:18Speaker 4: He's saying you're not.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I don't think you're contending for a playoff spot.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but they are. I mean, I don't care what
- 21:22Speaker 2: Taylor says. I'm just saying, by record, they are.
- 21:25Speaker 3: I mean, I do care what Taylor says, but by record,
- 21:27Speaker 3: they are contending for a playoff spot.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Are they not?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Theoretically, they are.
- 21:32Speaker 2: They played toe-to-toe with Buffalo yesterday.
- 21:35Speaker 1: They played toe-to-toe with everybody.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Mikey, I was wrong. McCarthy won't start next week. They're
- 21:40Speaker 2: at Houston. Yeah, that's a tip. That's a tough spot
- 21:43Speaker 2: to put them in. It really is.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Since when, since when is Houston tough? Since when is
- 21:49Speaker 4: that a tough defense?
- 21:50Speaker 1: They're starting to find their legs a little.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's fair.
- 21:53Speaker 5: Did the Houston Texans of last year and the, and
- 21:56Speaker 5: the Denver Broncos of this year's trade jerseys. Because all
- 21:59Speaker 5: of a sudden, that's what Denver is. Denver is what
- 22:02Speaker 5: Houston was last year. We have a bad quarterback. We
- 22:05Speaker 5: can't move the ball. But, man, our defense is good
- 22:07Speaker 5: and will keep.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Us in games.
- 22:08Speaker 2: They gave up 31 yesterday. They did.
- 22:11Speaker 3: So the defense has not been great. Maybe it is
- 22:14Speaker 3: a spot for J.J.
- 22:15Speaker 2: McCarthy.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Are you guys concerned about the Rams here? Because in
- 22:19Speaker 3: a division that has the Niners at 5-0, you are
- 22:23Speaker 3: concerned about the Rams.
- 22:24Speaker 2: What's the record now on the Rams?
- 22:26Speaker 4: 2-4.
- 22:26Speaker 2: 2-4.
- 22:28Speaker 4: The same as the New York Jets.
- 22:31Speaker 1: And they were a fourth-quarter comeback away in that Philadelphia
- 22:34Speaker 1: game from staring 1-5 in the face.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Yes.
- 22:39Speaker 3: So what level of concern are we talking about? Not
- 22:42Speaker 3: going to make the playoffs that level of concern?
- 22:45Speaker 2: The Rams? Do we want to say it now?
- 22:49Speaker 5: I mean, it's going to be hard. All right, so
- 22:51Speaker 5: one team's going to come out of the east. One
- 22:54Speaker 5: team's going to come out of the south. The north
- 22:56Speaker 5: looks pretty good. The north could get two, three. We
- 23:00Speaker 5: even did if the season ended today last week and
- 23:01Speaker 5: all four teams made it. You know the 49ers are
- 23:04Speaker 5: going to be there. I trust Seattle because they're the
- 23:07Speaker 5: defending champs to be around at the end. You might
- 23:11Speaker 5: just be out of it.
- 23:13Speaker 3: You might be, because they're going to have to get in,
- 23:15Speaker 3: in all likelihood, as a wildcard team, and there's just
- 23:18Speaker 3: too many good teams.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Unlike the AFC, the NFC is good. It's littered with
- 23:22Speaker 2: good teams. It is.
- 23:23Speaker 1: I'm still laughing at the narrative before the season. People
- 23:26Speaker 1: thought the Rams were going to go 17-0. People were
- 23:29Speaker 1: saying Rams are the field. Some people would push back
- 23:32Speaker 1: and be like, guys, the NFL has a ton of parity.
- 23:36Speaker 1: You're a couple injuries away. And now it feels like
- 23:38Speaker 1: all the eggs are in the, well, Myles Garrett's going
- 23:40Speaker 1: to come back and fix a lot of things. That's
- 23:42Speaker 1: putting a ton of pressure on Miles Garrett. And I
- 23:45Speaker 1: think what you're looking at is like that early 2010s
- 23:49Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles team where just because you put a lot
- 23:52Speaker 1: of names together doesn't mean that you're going to get
- 23:55Speaker 1: this Super Bowl contending team, this Super Bowl success where
- 23:59Speaker 1: on paper, yeah, the Rams are a dream team. Something
- 24:02Speaker 1: is very off with this team. And the more that
- 24:05Speaker 1: you hear people in that building talk, like the more
- 24:07Speaker 1: I get concerned where, Mikey, I don't know if you
- 24:09Speaker 1: heard Kyron Williams went, Kyron Williams was asked why he
- 24:13Speaker 1: thought the Rams couldn't sustain enough energy drive to drive.
- 24:17Speaker 1: And he said, can't tell you, probably because I'm not
- 24:19Speaker 1: out there. He's playing like 75% of the snaps.
- 24:22Speaker 2: He's out there.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Blake Corum had the touchdown.
- 24:27Speaker 2: That's what he's upset about.
- 24:28Speaker 4: That is what.
- 24:29Speaker 5: He's upset about. They had two touchdowns, I think, and
- 24:32Speaker 5: Blake Corum had one of them.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Do you think if Miles Garrett could reverse the trade
- 24:36Speaker 3: and go back to Cleveland right now, would he do it?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Yeah, 1,000%.
- 24:40Speaker 2: What a crazy season.
- 24:41Speaker 1: He'd be on the first plane back. to Cleveland. He
- 24:45Speaker 1: would walk to Cleveland today.
- 24:46Speaker 3: If he could put it on the pole, but miles
- 24:49Speaker 3: Garrett walked to Cleveland today. If he could, we can,
- 24:54Speaker 3: you have more.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Aaron Donald too.
- 24:57Speaker 2: He's got more. He is not. He has not emptied
- 25:00Speaker 2: the clip here on the LA Rams. Go ahead.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Aaron Donald is watching Jacoby Brissett. lead a game winning
- 25:06Speaker 1: drive to get in field goal range where Ryland kicks
- 25:09Speaker 1: his sixth field goal of the game and Arizona doesn't
- 25:13Speaker 1: even score a touchdown in the Rams. The dream team
- 25:17Speaker 1: Rams lose to a dead Arizona Cardinals team and Miles
- 25:21Speaker 1: Aaron Donald is probably thinking. I debated coming back for
- 25:25Speaker 1: this crap.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
- 25:28Speaker 3: How many of the teams that were fishing for their
- 25:29Speaker 3: first victory got.
- 25:30Speaker 2: One over the weekend?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Tennessee did, right? The Dolphins will never get one. The
- 25:34Speaker 3: Dolphins will never get one.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I predicted the Titans win.
- 25:37Speaker 2: You did?
- 25:38Speaker 1: I said they were better than 0-5.
- 25:39Speaker 5: You did.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And at points of that game, they did not look
- 25:42Speaker 1: like they were better than 0-5. They actually looked worse
- 25:44Speaker 1: than 0-5 at times.
- 25:47Speaker 4: But the Colts were up to the challenge.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Which is why their GM got fired. The Chargers are
- 25:52Speaker 2: still winless.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It's amazing. It's just amazing.
- 25:58Speaker 3: The two things I did not expect this year. On
- 26:00Speaker 3: the bad side, the Chargers being this bad 0-6. the
- 26:03Speaker 3: Rams being this bad at 2-4, and I guess on
- 26:07Speaker 3: the good side, the Vikings being 5-0.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Those are the big surprises.
- 26:10Speaker 1: So the last time that the Chargers lost their first
- 26:13Speaker 1: six games was 2000, and their quarterback, Jim Harbaugh.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Ah, Harbs. He's so fired. We can observations next. Stugatz here.
- 26:28Speaker 2: You guys know me.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I'm watching sports all weekend anyway, and there's nothing better

- 27:40Speaker 3: We will get to the weekend observations here in just
- 27:43Speaker 3: a second. Mikey, how'd you feel watching that Jets-Patriots game yesterday?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Jets had a chance. They were in the game.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I feel like that's a game I've seen a thousand times.
- 27:54Speaker 5: I mean, we literally called it during the game where
- 27:57Speaker 5: I go, I'll bet you the Jets pull within one score.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Give us a little bit of hope, and then just
- 28:02Speaker 4: get run out the building. That's exactly what happened.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yep, you're right.
- 28:05Speaker 1: So my point with Aaron Glenn was, you know a
- 28:10Speaker 1: coach when you see one, like a head coach when
- 28:12Speaker 1: you see one, and Aaron Glenn does way too many
- 28:15Speaker 1: things to say, this guy is not cut out to
- 28:18Speaker 1: be a head coach where That game is coming back
- 28:20Speaker 1: from halftime, and they're interviewing Aaron Glenn on the sideline.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And he's like, the good thing is we get the ball.
- 28:26Speaker 1: We got a chance to move it and finish. The
- 28:28Speaker 1: problem is the Patriots got the ball first in the
- 28:30Speaker 1: second half, where it seemed like Aaron Glenn was just
- 28:33Speaker 1: oblivious to it.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Well, maybe he thinks his defense is his offense.
- 28:36Speaker 2: I mean, listen.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Really, is there any difference between kicking off or going
- 28:41Speaker 5: free and out and then kicking off?
- 28:43Speaker 4: Like, what are we talking about here? Two minutes?
- 28:45Speaker 2: Wait, so I missed this.
- 28:46Speaker 3: The sideline reporter, did they correct Aaron Glenn there or no?
- 28:50Speaker 2: They just let it go?
- 28:51Speaker 1: No, they just let it go.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Really?
- 28:54Speaker 1: You know how they, like, pre-tape it almost and then
- 28:56Speaker 1: they're just playing it as the game's coming back because
- 28:59Speaker 1: they're not talking.
- 29:00Speaker 4: To Aaron Glenn live?
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 29:02Speaker 4: Yes.
- 29:02Speaker 1: As the interview's kicking away, you just see Drake May
- 29:05Speaker 1: getting ready to take the snap.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Wait, so they pan from Aaron Glenn's comments that we
- 29:12Speaker 3: get the ball in the second half to Drake May
- 29:14Speaker 3: warming up because he gets the ball in the second half.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Yes.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Drake May trotting out onto the field as Aaron Glenn saying,
- 29:19Speaker 1: the good thing is we get the ball. Nike, there
- 29:22Speaker 1: are some times when you see stats... that you have
- 29:25Speaker 1: to double-check because you don't believe it. And then when
- 29:28Speaker 1: you get confirmation on the double-check, sometimes you have to
- 29:31Speaker 1: triple-check it and quadruple-check it because it's still incomprehensible, a stat,
- 29:37Speaker 1: where I see this one from Zach Rosenblatt. the jets
- 29:41Speaker 1: have been outscored 100 to 6 in the final two
- 29:45Speaker 1: minutes in the second quarter since aaron glenn was hired
- 29:48Speaker 1: according to true media 100 to 6 yep in the
- 29:54Speaker 1: final two minutes mm-hmm.
- 29:56Speaker 5: That tells you that not only can they not score,
- 29:59Speaker 5: they have no concept of a two minute offense, but
- 30:03Speaker 5: they have no concept of a two minute defense either.
- 30:07Speaker 1: And I don't know if you have seen this too,
- 30:09Speaker 1: going around on social media where I think it was
- 30:11Speaker 1: Aaron Glenn before this season where he was like, one
- 30:14Speaker 1: of the things I've really been studying up on is
- 30:15Speaker 1: how we get better at the end of first halves.
- 30:18Speaker 1: And it's like, OK, so you did all this preparation
- 30:21Speaker 1: and you're you're the worst. You're statistically the worst team
- 30:24Speaker 1: ever in these situations before the end of a half.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Mikey, does it drive you crazy that our head coach,
- 30:31Speaker 3: I mean, amongst other things, it's been it's been a
- 30:33Speaker 3: rough run for me and you as Jet fans and
- 30:35Speaker 3: for all Jet fans, really, since 1969.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Are you upset at all that at the very least?
- 30:41Speaker 3: Shouldn't the head coach know that they don't have the
- 30:45Speaker 3: ball to start the second half? It's like bare minimum
- 30:48Speaker 3: requirements we're asking from Aaron Glenn. Be a professional for
- 30:52Speaker 3: crying out loud.
- 30:53Speaker 4: I'm not even asking for that anymore. I'm numb to it.
- 30:56Speaker 4: I mean, I have had my heart broken by.
- 31:00Speaker 5: This team so many times that I just stare blankly.
- 31:06Speaker 5: at things like this there is nothing that can happen
- 31:09Speaker 5: that i will go wow that's surprising so.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Aaron glenn except them winning right aaron glenn in a
- 31:16Speaker 1: very stugatz of the day move on the viral clip
- 31:20Speaker 1: about him saying the jets would be getting the ball
- 31:22Speaker 1: back in the second half even though they weren't aaron
- 31:24Speaker 1: glenn said he was alluding to when the offense gets
- 31:26Speaker 1: the ball back yeah of course he does what yeah.
- 31:33Speaker 2: He can't even lie.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Well, he said, we get the ball. We get the
- 31:39Speaker 5: ball here or something like that in, in the clip.
- 31:42Speaker 5: And what he's trying to say is I meant when
- 31:45Speaker 5: we get.
- 31:45Speaker 4: The ball, right? Of course we get the ball. Yes.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:48Speaker 4: And frankly, I, Good for you. Go ahead. Go ahead. Lie. Lie.
- 31:54Speaker 1: 0-7 against AFC East opponents.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yes, give that stat again from Rosenblatt.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I mean... 100-6 in the final two minutes.
- 32:03Speaker 2: It seems impossible.
- 32:04Speaker 1: It seems impossible.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Which is why you had to double-check it, and I'm
- 32:07Speaker 3: assuming triple-check it, right?
- 32:08Speaker 4: Yeah, two fielders.
- 32:10Speaker 2: I did.
- 32:11Speaker 1: It's not even like they scored a touchdown and missed
- 32:12Speaker 1: the extra point. I'd almost be.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Rude for that instead.
- 32:16Speaker 5: I did not double and triple check this, but I
- 32:18Speaker 5: would wager any amount of money you want that both
- 32:21Speaker 5: of those field goals.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Were 50-plus yards.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Let's get to the weekend observations. Oh, what a weekend.
- 32:35Speaker 2: I'm still dizzy.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Trying to get my bearings.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Same.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Saturday.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Jesus. Anyway.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Mikey! My voice is strained. Yelling at Aaron Glenn all weekend.
- 32:52Speaker 3: We watched the quarterback go down with what looked like
- 32:54Speaker 3: a devastating injury. Grabbing his hamstring, writhing in pain, unable
- 33:02Speaker 3: to get up on his own.
- 33:04Speaker 2: It was so bad, they had to.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Bring out the cart, towel over his head, fighting back tears,
- 33:11Speaker 3: and you couldn't help but wonder when we'd see him again.
- 33:17Speaker 3: But against all odds, less than a month later, he comes.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Out and completes his first 12 passes.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Finishes 30 of 36 for 305 yards, a touchdown, no interceptions,
- 33:35Speaker 3: and a 111 passer rating, leading his team to a
- 33:39Speaker 3: 31-23 victory. And Mikey, just like that. Make no mistake
- 33:45Speaker 3: about it. Caleb Williams is back.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Modern medicine.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Different team. I mean... Falcon tried to come back there, though. Penix, huh?
- 34:00Speaker 4: Almost blew it.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Almost blew it, yes. Speaking of back, J.J. McCarthy.
- 34:07Speaker 4: All the way back.
- 34:08Speaker 2: All the way back, yes. What a trade.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I can't believe you guys are falling for that.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I love him. I mean, kidding me.
- 34:15Speaker 1: He stinks.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm falling for it. I fell for it.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I'm there. He threw an interception so fast.
- 34:20Speaker 4: So quickly.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I know, but he brought him back.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Hmm.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Speaking of back, Marvin Harrison Jr. Marvin Harrison Jr. leads
- 34:35Speaker 3: the league in looking the part. Second place, Justin Herbert.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Put it on the poll. I'm with Mikey. I know
- 34:46Speaker 2: it's my observation, but is Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 34:49Speaker 4: Back?
- 34:50Speaker 1: You're reuniting him with CJ Stroud.
- 34:53Speaker 2: What did he do yesterday?
- 34:54Speaker 4: Has he ever arrived?
- 34:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:55Speaker 1: He had three bigger catches in the game against the
- 34:58Speaker 1: Jaguars than he had all his entire career with the Cardinals.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yes, let's put it on the poll. Two questions. Is
- 35:05Speaker 2: Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Back?
- 35:07Speaker 2: And did Marvin Harrison Jr. ever arrive?
- 35:11Speaker 4: Can you be back if you never arrive?
- 35:14Speaker 2: It's a great question. His rookie season was good, though, right?
- 35:17Speaker 2: I think it was.
- 35:17Speaker 1: It was okay.
- 35:18Speaker 4: It was all right.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Not for what his expectations were out of Ohio State.
- 35:22Speaker 2: All right.
- 35:22Speaker 1: But you're reuniting him with his quarterback.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Yep.
- 35:25Speaker 2: If you have the Jaguars in the red zone, you
- 35:28Speaker 2: know where you have them, Mikey?
- 35:31Speaker 4: Right where you want them.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Very good. You're on your game.
- 35:34Speaker 3: When D'Amico Ryans took the points, Liam Cohn said, I
- 35:38Speaker 3: didn't know you could do that.
- 35:42Speaker 1: This Jaguars team would be so good if Liam Cohn
- 35:44Speaker 1: just kicked the field goals.
- 35:45Speaker 4: They are very good.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they would be even better, though, because at the
- 35:49Speaker 1: end of the game when they needed that field goal
- 35:51Speaker 1: to tie, it's like, oh, if Liam Cohn just kicked
- 35:53Speaker 1: field goals in the first half, that field goal is
- 35:55Speaker 1: to win it instead.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess.
- 35:58Speaker 5: He won't do it unless Cam Little has to break
- 36:00Speaker 5: some sort of record in.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Distance to kick the field goal.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Right.
- 36:04Speaker 3: That one throw by C.J. Stroud would be first ballot
- 36:09Speaker 3: in the one throw Hall of Fame.
- 36:11Speaker 2: It was good. Oh, my God. Yes.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Hang it up next to Zach Wilson's combine throw.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I've been thinking about it.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Pro day throw. Pro day throw.
- 36:20Speaker 2: The pro day throw that got him drafted by the Jets.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Yes.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I've been thinking about that C.J. Stroud throw since like
- 36:25Speaker 1: 9 a.m. yesterday morning.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Really?
- 36:27Speaker 2: Was that good?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yes.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Eli Manning has a two throw Hall of Fame, correct? Yeah.
- 36:33Speaker 2: He's the only one, I think.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Mario Manningham and David Tyree.
- 36:40Speaker 3: If I were the Texans, I would have extended C.J.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Stroud the second he completed that throw.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Just have the contract on the sideline waiting for him? Yes.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Houston Texans, best 2-4 team in NFL history.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I would have to go back to my data.
- 36:57Speaker 2: I mean, the Rams could be in that conversation.
- 36:59Speaker 4: I was going to say, I'm pretty sure you want
- 37:01Speaker 4: to put the Rams in there. This Rams team stinks.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Man, were you guys quick? Jeez, I'm sorry.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I could at least get behind C.J. Stroud.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 37:10Speaker 3: The next time a defensive back thinks he's committed a
- 37:14Speaker 3: penalty will be the first time. If you need five yards,
- 37:22Speaker 3: Dalton Schultz will get you five yards. If you need
- 37:26Speaker 3: six yards, Dalton Schultz will get you five yards.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Yep. Every time. Yes.
- 37:33Speaker 2: You know what the D in Dalton stands for, Mike?
- 37:38Speaker 4: I don't.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Dude only gets you five yards.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Dude, I didn't get it.
- 37:45Speaker 2: If you only watch games in London.
- 37:48Speaker 3: you'd be convinced Travis Hunter was football's Michael Jordan.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Taylor put it on the air. Yes. Put that on
- 37:56Speaker 2: the ball.
- 37:56Speaker 3: If you watch games only in London, would you be
- 37:59Speaker 3: convinced Travis Hunter was football's Michael Jordan, Travis Hunter, great
- 38:05Speaker 3: interception would have loved to see it.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Cameraman had a bad series. That one.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 3: There isn't a more lonely feeling than being the camera
- 38:21Speaker 3: guy who can't find the ball.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Put that on the bowl.
- 38:29Speaker 4: They're English. They don't know we can fake it.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Yes. So funny. Taylor, put that on the bowl.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Is there a more lonely feeling than being the camera
- 38:38Speaker 3: guy who can't find the ball?
- 38:41Speaker 2: Everyone's looking at him. TV crew. Booth. Problem with games
- 38:48Speaker 2: in London, they don't have play action in soccer.
- 38:55Speaker 4: Damn, I kind of took that one from you.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Take it from Taylor.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Anytime a defender drops an interception, you have an obligation
- 39:06Speaker 3: to say, that's why he plays defense.
- 39:09Speaker 4: That's why he's not a receiver.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It's an announcer's obligation?
- 39:14Speaker 1: No, just sitting on the couch.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Oh, just sitting on the couch, okay. But do the
- 39:18Speaker 2: announcers say it?
- 39:18Speaker 4: It's similar to the big third down here. You're right.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Wait, so you guys are sitting on your couch, and
- 39:24Speaker 3: are you saying it to anybody? You're just muttering it
- 39:27Speaker 3: out loud?
- 39:27Speaker 1: You just kind of mutter it.
- 39:28Speaker 2: No you just say it and mikey that's why he
- 39:29Speaker 2: plays defense.
- 39:30Speaker 1: It's the same thing when you see a fumble you
- 39:32Speaker 1: have to yell ball ball do you man.
- 39:35Speaker 5: Oh here's another one here's another one anytime you see
- 39:38Speaker 5: matt stafford you got to go he went to high
- 39:40Speaker 5: school clayton kershaw or vice versa.
- 39:44Speaker 3: I can't believe dalton man he just won't go to
- 39:48Speaker 3: the eagles i can't philip rivers would go there.
- 39:52Speaker 5: That tells you what it must be like in that
- 39:55Speaker 5: locker room with your boy Sirianni.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess. He is so fired, isn't he?
- 40:02Speaker 3: It's the biggest indictment on him yet is that Andy
- 40:05Speaker 3: Dalton won't come back for one last chance to win.
- 40:13Speaker 3: If the point of football was to turn it over
- 40:15Speaker 3: on downs, Aaron Glenn would be Bill Belichick.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 40:23Speaker 1: They treat fourth and threes like fourth and shorts.
- 40:25Speaker 2: They don't care. He doesn't care.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Fourth and inches. They treat fourth and ones like.
- 40:33Speaker 2: He's playing out the string, guys.
- 40:35Speaker 4: The Jets.
- 40:38Speaker 3: David Bailey, do it against somebody that's not the Cleveland Browns.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Okay game yesterday, right?
- 40:47Speaker 4: He caused a fumble. He caused a fumble.
- 40:49Speaker 2: He did.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Bad roughing the passer penalty, though.
- 40:53Speaker 2: What'd you yell out when he caused that fumble?
- 40:55Speaker 4: Ball!
- 41:00Speaker 2: The Jets have been losing that game for over a decade.
- 41:05Speaker 2: I hate them.
- 41:06Speaker 4: 16 years.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Not even certain.
- 41:09Speaker 4: 16 years they're losing that.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I can't even muster up the energy to hate them anymore.
- 41:11Speaker 3: It's just part of my life.
- 41:14Speaker 4: I'm numb to them.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Yes, it's just part of my life. I'm numb to them.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I expect it. I do.
- 41:20Speaker 3: If you blinked, In Patriots-Jets, you might have missed A.J.
- 41:25Speaker 3: Brown dropping another pass. Mikey, you know what the A
- 41:30Speaker 3: in A.J. Brown stands for?
- 41:32Speaker 4: Another dropped pass?
- 41:33Speaker 2: Yes. Well done, sir. The best receiver for the Jets
- 41:39Speaker 2: yesterday was A.J.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Brown. MVP.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yep. A.J.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Brown left his hands in Philadelphia. Mike Vrabel tossed a
- 41:53Speaker 3: game ball to A.J. Brown to celebrate his return from injury.
- 41:57Speaker 2: He dropped it.
- 42:00Speaker 4: They put him on the hands team, and he missed it.
- 42:03Speaker 5: They literally put the guy with eight drops on the
- 42:07Speaker 5: hands team.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Yes, he was limping around out there. He did not
- 42:09Speaker 2: look right.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but football has a way to find, like, when
- 42:13Speaker 1: you don't want the ball, football has a way where
- 42:16Speaker 1: the ball is going to find you.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Put it on the poll.
- 42:18Speaker 3: When you have a guy with five drops in a game,
- 42:20Speaker 3: can you put him on your hands team?
- 42:25Speaker 2: You can't.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Feet for hands team.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Patriots left the back door open. Jets plus seven and
- 42:36Speaker 3: a half said, don't mind if I do. The Raiders
- 42:41Speaker 3: and Kirk Cousins said the same exact thing.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Yeah, that happened.
- 42:46Speaker 2: That hurt.
- 42:48Speaker 1: It is so sad when you have, like, plus 7.5
- 42:51Speaker 1: and a team's up by 10, and you're just begging
- 42:54Speaker 1: them to kick the field goal. You'd be like, kick
- 42:57Speaker 1: the field goal, and then we just got to recover
- 42:58Speaker 1: the onside kick.
- 42:59Speaker 2: And then Cousins does that.
- 43:00Speaker 1: But in reality, you're like, I don't care if they
- 43:02Speaker 1: get the onside kick. I just need this field goal.
- 43:06Speaker 5: I'm screaming at the TV. There's the one thing you
- 43:09Speaker 5: can't let them do, and it's what they just did.
- 43:11Speaker 5: You can't let them throw the ball down the middle
- 43:13Speaker 5: of the field for a touchdown.
- 43:14Speaker 2: And they did.
- 43:15Speaker 4: And they're like, ah. Yes. They're fine. We're up 10,
- 43:18Speaker 4: not 7.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Right, but kick the field goal first. Save some time.
- 43:20Speaker 3: I was yelling at the Raiders on my screen. Kick
- 43:22Speaker 3: it right before he snapped that ball.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Kick it. God, that hurt.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I'm not saying to press it yet, but Rams fans
- 43:33Speaker 3: should at the very least have the panic button nearby.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Locate it.
- 43:39Speaker 2: We're not saying press it.
- 43:40Speaker 3: We're just saying have it close by in the event
- 43:42Speaker 3: that you need to press it soon.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Have the route. Yeah, fair.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Blake Groupie. Nobody would blame you if you stopped trying
- 43:52Speaker 2: to make tackles. Got hurt.
- 43:56Speaker 4: Fair.
- 43:57Speaker 1: He ran in there like a bat out of hell
- 43:59Speaker 1: trying to make that tackle.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Was there a punter kicking field goals at the end
- 44:02Speaker 2: of the game?
- 44:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:04Speaker 2: They're a mess.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Well, extra points.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Panic button.
- 44:06Speaker 1: He made it.
- 44:09Speaker 2: He did? Well, they found themselves a kicker.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Well, it was an extra point. It was like a
- 44:12Speaker 1: 33-yard kick.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Shaw McVay. Loves a screen.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Mikey, you know what the S in Sean McVay stands for?
- 44:23Speaker 4: I'm guessing screen.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Screen pass. Good guess.
- 44:27Speaker 3: The Cardinals were trying to lose that game. Unfortunately for them,
- 44:33Speaker 3: the Rams wanted it more. Can't wait to see who
- 44:36Speaker 3: Sean McVay blames for this loss. Mikey, the M in
- 44:41Speaker 3: McVay stands for, should stand for, mirror.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Mirror.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Look at it.
- 44:47Speaker 3: If he looks at it, what he's going to see
- 44:48Speaker 3: is a very good-looking, in-shape kind of guy who's probably
- 44:51Speaker 3: taking some form of testosterone, right?
- 44:54Speaker 2: I mean.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Yeah, with zero accountability. No Harrison Mewis to blame this week.
- 44:58Speaker 4: You are going to look so good on Amazon Prime. Yes.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Even at two and four, I'd still, if I'm McVay,
- 45:04Speaker 3: look at myself in the mirror often. Aaron Donald, I
- 45:13Speaker 3: won't blame you. If you retired right now, I'm just
- 45:19Speaker 3: saying Phillip Rivers was willing to risk. He pushed his
- 45:24Speaker 3: Hall of Fame stuff back five years. He played for
- 45:26Speaker 3: the Colts. Just Andy Dalton.
- 45:29Speaker 2: What a disappointment. You know what the D in Dalton
- 45:31Speaker 2: stands for? Disappointment.
- 45:33Speaker 4: I'm guessing you're saying disappointment. I'm saying you made the
- 45:36Speaker 4: right decision. I'm saying decision.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Miles Garrett might ask to be traded back to Cleveland.
- 45:47Speaker 3: What would Cleveland have to give up in that trade?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Probably like a fifth round pick.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Jesus Christ.
- 45:56Speaker 3: When the Rams scored, I turned to Abby and said,
- 46:00Speaker 3: too much time for Jacoby Brissett. She said, nobody in
- 46:06Speaker 3: the history of this universe has ever said that.
- 46:09Speaker 2: I said, you know what? You might be right.
- 46:15Speaker 4: First guy.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Yeah. It was an odd conversation for her and I
- 46:19Speaker 2: to be having. Yeah.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Usually she just says, what?
- 46:25Speaker 2: I've said too much time for Mahomes.
- 46:26Speaker 3: I've said too much time for just about every quarterback
- 46:29Speaker 3: in the history of the NFL to her.
- 46:31Speaker 2: And she's right.
- 46:33Speaker 3: I've never said it about Jacoby Brissett because I've never
- 46:35Speaker 3: felt it. I never thought it until yesterday. There's too
- 46:39Speaker 3: much time left. Los Angeles Rams. Death by field goals.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Arizona Cardinals. Why you take the points. Can the biggest
- 46:50Speaker 3: upset of the year be a 2-4 team beating a
- 46:54Speaker 3: 2-4 team?
- 46:57Speaker 2: Put it on the poll. Good point. Dodgers.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Rams.
- 47:04Speaker 2: City of Angels. More like City of Frauds. I mean,
- 47:11Speaker 2: the Dodgers.
- 47:11Speaker 4: Don't forget the Chargers.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Right, the Chargers. San Diego, Adam. I mean, the Dodgers
- 47:18Speaker 2: have won back-to-back World Series.
- 47:20Speaker 1: What have you done for me lately?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Lost, you're right. Swept. Swept.
- 47:26Speaker 3: If the Cardinals played every game in SoFi Stadium, they'd
- 47:29Speaker 3: never lose.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Home away from home. One might call it home. Are
- 47:37Speaker 2: they undefeated there? 2-0.
- 47:40Speaker 1: More wins than the Chargers.
- 47:43Speaker 3: In hindsight, the Seahawks probably should have paid Kenneth Walker,
- 47:49Speaker 3: the rare player named Walker, that you shouldn't have let walk.
- 47:54Speaker 2: I mean, come on. We are armed with hindsight now.
- 48:01Speaker 2: At the time, I thought it was a good trade.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Raiders lead the league in moral victories. Just when you
- 48:09Speaker 3: think you've seen it all from Josh Allen, he reminds
- 48:12Speaker 3: you that you haven't.
- 48:13Speaker 2: That's amazing. I mean, Mikey is right about the complaining.
- 48:21Speaker 3: When you're able to do what he does on a
- 48:23Speaker 3: football field, you shouldn't complain about anything.
- 48:25Speaker 2: You have an advantage over everyone.
- 48:27Speaker 4: I agree.
- 48:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 48:28Speaker 4: I agree. Take that out of the game. I could
- 48:30Speaker 4: love that man. I don't.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I love it.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Or put him on the jets and complain all you want.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yes. I'm playing all you want.
- 48:39Speaker 3: I love a good pushing. Let me try that again, Taylor.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I love a good pushing of the pile. Got to
- 48:46Speaker 3: keep your legs churning. Is that the key?
- 48:51Speaker 2: It's not my observation. It was yours. I'm just, is
- 48:53Speaker 2: that the key? Yeah, the Bills. Churning legs. Here's something
- 48:55Speaker 2: to ponder.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Do we say churning for anything other than butter and
- 48:59Speaker 3: legs pushing a pile?
- 49:03Speaker 4: Yes. A boat.
- 49:07Speaker 1: The engines, the propellers are churning. Boats are churning?
- 49:09Speaker 2: I've never heard of that before.
- 49:11Speaker 4: The propellers, the propellers churn.
- 49:12Speaker 1: I've never heard of a boat churning or a burp churning.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Is that what I said?
- 49:17Speaker 4: I did.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I called the boat a burp. A burp?
- 49:21Speaker 4: Yeah, propellers churn.
- 49:24Speaker 2: I'm not so certain.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Look it up.
- 49:28Speaker 3: No need to discuss now. Stash it away for a
- 49:32Speaker 3: rainy day. We'll get back to it. Carolina Panthers.
- 49:37Speaker 2: One ugly. J.J. McCarthy.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Can sling it. Tennessee Titans off the schneid. It's time
- 49:45Speaker 3: for people to stop sleeping on Wake Forest. Some would
- 49:48Speaker 3: say people need to wake up the Deeks.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Forest.
- 49:58Speaker 3: North Carolina winning the victory bell, or as I like
- 50:02Speaker 3: to call it, the victory bell.
- 50:05Speaker 2: A check.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Love seeing that man.
- 50:09Speaker 2: You love Belichick now.
- 50:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Yes, you do.
- 50:12Speaker 4: For now.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Never doubted him. Definitely didn't want John Summerall instead.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Indiana's Nick Marsh. Potential go-ahead touchdown. A step out of bounds.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Game of inches. Mikey, you know what the I in
- 50:28Speaker 3: Indiana stands for?
- 50:29Speaker 4: I'm guessing it's inches.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Inches. Game of inches.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Guy was half of Adidas short from winning the game.
- 50:39Speaker 3: Tough way for most Indiana football fans to experience their
- 50:44Speaker 3: first loss.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Bandwagons. Indiana fans, you have no.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Right to look that distraught after losing a close game
- 50:55Speaker 3: to Ohio State. Indiana fans, win or lose, you should
- 51:00Speaker 3: walk out of each game With your head down, whistling Dixie.
- 51:09Speaker 2: I mean, you agree with that, right?
- 51:12Speaker 4: Sure.
- 51:13Speaker 1: What is whistling Dixie?
- 51:15Speaker 2: Good things. You're in a good mood. You whistle Dixie,
- 51:17Speaker 2: I believe. I could be wrong on this.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Why would your head be down?
- 51:20Speaker 3: Well, I mean, you don't want people, you don't want
- 51:22Speaker 3: anyone to see you whistling Dixie and looking happy after
- 51:26Speaker 3: an Indiana loss. They should just be happy they're relevant.
- 51:29Speaker 3: That's all I'm saying.
- 51:30Speaker 1: My guess is no.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Head down, Mikey.
- 51:32Speaker 3: I'm telling Indiana fans they should be walking out celebrating
- 51:35Speaker 3: win or lose.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Period.
- 51:37Speaker 3: End of discussion. They've already won. They won a title
- 51:40Speaker 3: a year ago, and they are relevant for the first
- 51:42Speaker 3: time in the history of college football. Just be happy
- 51:44Speaker 3: about that. You lose a game, you lose a game.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Whistle Dixie.
- 51:48Speaker 4: Don't they whistle Dixie in the South?
- 51:51Speaker 1: I don't know. My guess is nobody has said the
- 51:53Speaker 1: term whistling Dixie since probably like 1993. It's been a while.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Look it up. I'm not even certain it connotes a
- 52:01Speaker 2: good thing.
- 52:01Speaker 3: I'm not saying you should celebrate if you lose a
- 52:07Speaker 3: game like that.
- 52:07Speaker 2: I'm just saying you're Indiana. You just got here.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Sometimes you need to put down the shovel.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Put it on the pole.
- 52:19Speaker 4: Stop digging yourself in the hole.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Why am I digging myself a hole?
- 52:23Speaker 3: You think Indiana fans have earned the right to look
- 52:25Speaker 3: that distraught and upset because the team they just started
- 52:28Speaker 3: rooting for and many of those people attended their first game.
- 52:31Speaker 2: They lost to Ohio State in a close game at home.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Give me a break. They're going to lose.
- 52:36Speaker 4: No, I just don't think they should put their head
- 52:38Speaker 4: down and whistle Dixie.
- 52:39Speaker 2: All right. Well, should they have the last laugh? I mean,
- 52:42Speaker 2: give me the proper. Whistling Dixie.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Hold your head high. And cheer. Yeah.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Cheer.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Well, what should you say? Hey, we lost the game, but,
- 52:55Speaker 2: you know. Lost the battle, won the war. Yes.
- 52:59Speaker 4: That was close. All right.
- 53:01Speaker 2: We'll get them next time.
- 53:02Speaker 1: See you next week. I think they were whistling Dixie
- 53:06Speaker 1: when they did lose the war.
- 53:09Speaker 2: You might be right.
- 53:10Speaker 1: That's a Civil War reference.
- 53:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I got you.
- 53:14Speaker 2: It's the last time someone whistled Dixie.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Correct.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I don't know why I went with that. At the
- 53:23Speaker 2: end of the day, Ohio State was just a little
- 53:26Speaker 2: bit better. Just saying.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Julian saying.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Auburn winning at Georgia for the first time since 2005.
- 53:37Speaker 2: You know what that means, Mikey.
- 53:39Speaker 4: They were due.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Yes, they were.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Kalen DeBoer, welcome back to the hot seat. Still warm
- 53:45Speaker 3: from last time. Alabama, Tennessee, great uniform matchup, bad football game.
- 53:54Speaker 3: For the first time in the history of the conference,
- 53:57Speaker 3: the SEC runs through Lexington, Kentucky.
- 54:03Speaker 2: They should whistle Dixie.
- 54:06Speaker 4: They would whistle Dixie.
- 54:09Speaker 3: John Mateer did what John Mateer does. When the sun
- 54:14Speaker 3: goes down, weird things start to happen in Provo. Notre
- 54:18Speaker 3: Dame learned the hard way. Put it on the poll, Taylor.
- 54:22Speaker 3: When the sun goes down, do weird things start happening
- 54:25Speaker 3: in Provo?
- 54:27Speaker 2: They do.
- 54:28Speaker 4: They got hosed.
- 54:29Speaker 2: They did. It happens.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I would say in terms of teams getting hosed, Notre
- 54:37Speaker 3: Dame would be at Them or Alabama, right? Near the
- 54:41Speaker 3: top of.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Teams playing.
- 54:44Speaker 4: I'm not crying. We're not crying for them, but it happened.
- 54:47Speaker 2: They got hosed.
- 54:48Speaker 4: Times two. They got hosed.
- 54:52Speaker 2: To the NFL GM that drafts Arch Manning, good luck.
- 54:57Speaker 3: The more I watch college football, the more I think
- 55:01Speaker 3: nobody is actually good. I've always said, when nobody is
- 55:05Speaker 3: actually good, what you need is more teams in the playoffs.
- 55:12Speaker 5: Speaking of Arch Manning, reports out of Texas are they're
- 55:15Speaker 5: going to be giving redshirt freshman KJ Lacey Jr.
- 55:19Speaker 4: More reps in practice.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Wow.
- 55:23Speaker 4: Just in case. Just saying.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Gunnar Stockton, do it against Auburn. After that slate of
- 55:31Speaker 3: college football... I needed a cigarette. A year from now,
- 55:36Speaker 3: everything we saw Saturday won't matter.
- 55:39Speaker 2: How we doing?
- 55:40Speaker 3: Speaking of hell, Art Bryles, Mikey, those are the weekend observations.
