  [SPEAKER_00]: And so we're going to go through how turf Lawrence performed, everything we saw out there, some maybe unherial to guys, kind of stepping up, making some big plays.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter, he wasn't teal.

  [SPEAKER_00]: he was kind of having the same set up for this practice that you've seen throughout OTA so far, which is no helmet, and again, right now these are unpadded practices.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you're talking about the guys that are out there, they're wearing helmets, jerseys, shorts, obviously, no pads of any sort other than the helmet.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like a full-go type of deal, but it is competitive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It is a very competitive sort of week here with mandatory mini-camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, fans will be out there tomorrow.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter offense goes into the huddle, exits the huddle, kind of simulates everything that he would be doing out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So to me, he looks like he's amped up and ready to go, and so I'm excited to see

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, excited to see him out there, you know, once training camp gets around and we did here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I saw somebody tweeted on the way home that Travis Hunter ran 22.6 miles per hour.

  [SPEAKER_00]: out there testing earlier today, which is, I mean, that's flying, if you ask me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's doing really good and he's mentally locked in for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you missed the Chris Rodriguez news earlier, he's not supposed to be ready until training camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One update last time we were out there, which was

  [SPEAKER_00]: OTA number four, I believe, Nate Borgerture was not practicing full.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was out there practicing full today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Talking about Trevor Lawrence in the passing game, overall, not sharp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was the least sharp that it has been in the

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, three practices we've been able to attend, we're there for OTA1, OTA4, now mandatory many camp practice, number one, and that's not to say that there wasn't impressive moments, but you had some red zone inside the tin, you had some end of half.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Overall, I thought the red zone was not great.

  [SPEAKER_00]: not just on Trevor, but just in general, the red zone was not great for the offense, and then end of half I thought was very strong for the offense overall, and in between, I feel like I saw the defensive line getting after it a little bit, but it's really difficult to evaluate defensive line and offensive line play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: in this setting, just because you're not really attacking it full-go with your hands, with your physicality, all that stuff on the offensive and defensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But overall, Trevor Lawrence finished the day 10 of 19, did not have an interception.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He did have interceptions in each of the two practices that we attended prior.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So obviously, it's good to not have an interception, but 10 of 19 in a practice, which

  [SPEAKER_00]: 11 on 11, I believe versus 7 on 7.

  [SPEAKER_00]: there was some missed opportunities by the receivers on the first throw of practice Britain Strange.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like just didn't quite track the ball very well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was a good throw in the end zone and Strange just wasn't able to get it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then very next play, Trevor Lloyd went back to Britain Strange, which I like to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I like to see him given the ball to his guy, especially in the red zone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One thing you do want to see here is over the years, the Jack Wars have had their fair share of struggles in the red zone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You want to make sure that that's not a issue that continues to repeat itself heading into 2026.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But on the second play, Jarian Jones was able to lock up Britain's strange with a very physical rep. And then finally, on the third time, third time to charm, throwing it to Britain's strange three times in a row, he had a nice touchdown, easy touchdown for the offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He had a completion to tune after this was no longer doing the red zone work, but he would have been sacked by ventral miller who was not picked up by anyone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Good to see Ventral getting in there, but like that, to me, probably a miscommunication assignment by the offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's something that you did see a good bit last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They cleaned it up last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they'll have the ability to potentially clean that up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that was just something you don't want to see from the offense, honestly, as a free runner at the quarterback.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The his fifth pass of the day and complete down the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't really, well, I didn't have a good vantage point on it, but it was incomplete down the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he was two of five at that point.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then he completed one of the Jacobi Myers, who,

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, beat Buster Brown and beat him pretty good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So three of six at that point.

  [SPEAKER_00]: at a nice completion of Parker Washington after that, then a incompletion to Jacobi Myers, an incompletion of Parker Washington down the field where it just wasn't crisp, wasn't clean.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Another incompletion of Parker Washington down the field, and then after that, I mean, BTJ had a heck of a catch where he went up, jumped up, and went over the defender to secure the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That was a really good play by him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: jubbar muhamid had a pass break up on Trevor Lawrence and at that point Trevor was five of twelve and then you get into the end of the half scenario where I thought the offense did a lot better job overall he had a completion of Britain's strange, a completion of like an Allen completion to Parker Washington and then another one to strange then an incompletion to Parker and then a completion of Parker

  [SPEAKER_00]: and then ended his last practice in the team portion was a throw to BTJ that was so close to being completed and the back of the end zone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: BTJ did catch the ball but wasn't able to get both feet down with possession of the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So finish 10 of 19.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, I thought that there was a lot of plays where it seemed like the defensive line was doing a better job than the offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was a couple of just, I wouldn't even say there was like, air it throws.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would say there was just missed timing, disrupted timing, and just not clean and cohesive for some of these plays.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then there was some really good plays too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: just one that you'd like to see a little bit cleaner from the starting offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There were also two false starts for the starting offense, which we talked about that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think I've tracked three now and three practices, which isn't horrible, but two and one practices probably a little bit more than you'd like to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then we can get into a bunch of other plays and players that kind of stood out here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: CJ Williams, he almost caught a super high pass in the back of the end,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like he got a hand up on it, tipped it to himself, caught it, but didn't get both feet down and bounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But he made so many plays today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was able to get opening against man, against zone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I've been talking about this guy ever since I've seen him on the practice field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And look, the practice field at this time of year, it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like guys can look good out here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: at this time of year and it not translate, but it's a really good start for the rookie out of Stanford that the Jaguars drafted.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Branson Combs had a really aggressive past breakup on the goal line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That was impressive to see where he just looked really explosive and decisive towards the football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Josh Cameron, I think, had his most impressive practice by far so far and he missed a little bit of time early on, but not today, but like early on in OTAs, but he had a short touchdown in red zone where you could really see the size kind of being able to wall off the defender with his 220 plus crown frame.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He also had a contested grab down the field and then a over the shoulder grab down the field So Josh Cameron had a really nice day another draft pick by the Jaguars late-round draft pick at wide receiver both the CJ Williams and Josh Cameron Have him good days Trevor Peña touch down grab from part of Bradley Jumar Muhammad had an interception

  [SPEAKER_00]: and a pass break up for CJ Williams, the guy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Debarman Hamid, the undrapped free agent of Oregon, last year at Corner, under-sized guy, but he's making plays consistently.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Saw Chandler, Brayboy, who, as an undrapped free agent last year, he's got a lot of speed and quickness to his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He got a touchdown pass from Joey Agalar, somebody who made a fair amount of plays last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's still in the mix this year on the 90-man roster.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jamari Taylor, in the running backs in general, I think continued to look solid.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Sam's Chris Rodriguez,

  [SPEAKER_00]: to me, Jamari Taylor looks like the third best-back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously Chris Rodriguez is not being out there and impacts that, but Lee Quatt Allen and Basel Tutan obviously Tutan being the lead guy in the clubhouse right now with no Chris Rodriguez and then Lee Quatt Allen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Jamari Taylor's right behind them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's got a chance to stick around here and

  [SPEAKER_00]: If he doesn't stick around here, it wouldn't surprise me the way he's been playing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If he continues to play like that during the preseason, if somebody wants to add him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Zach Durfy, I did see him get a pressure, which was good to see the another late round pick out of Washington.

  [SPEAKER_00]: guy who was very productive past Russia last year dealt with some injuries and different things throughout his career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of different situational stuff as we've mentioned in pretty much every practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is a team that focuses on a lot of different situational mastery type drills and speaking of situational mastery, Cam Little.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was six of six in the team portion of practice, which was great to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One of those kicks was pretty deep.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The rest of them were not like

  [SPEAKER_00]: Super, super, deep attempts, but six of six, you'll take that all day.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Tanner Koziel had another contested grab that was really impressive down the field, and he's been showing off the last few practices that we've been able to attend.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That he was the most productive college football receiver over the last two years in the country.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you're seeing why.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has a legitimate receiving skill set.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so, seeing him compete,

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's great.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Didn't see a whole lot from Borkature today in the team portion of practice, but you're not going to have a standout from every player, every practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that you did have plenty of guys standing out on both sides of the ball in this one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, tough competitive practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, as physical as they can be at this time of year in this setting and something to build on for the offense tomorrow, I think you want to see a little bit more, just sharp on time and end.

  [SPEAKER_00]: a little more chemistry between the quarterback and the receivers.
