- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables.
- 0:01Speaker 2: If your girlfriend was to ask you, O, Audie, while
- 0:05Speaker 2: you're out, can you please pick me up some tampons?
- 0:08Speaker 2: I need the like super max size or like just
- 0:12Speaker 2: like super size tampons. What does that mean to you?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Oh? No, idea, No, no, no, wait it must mean.
- 0:33Speaker 2: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka Daddy,
- 0:38Speaker 2: and my partner in crime, Addie Clark. Some may say
- 0:42Speaker 2: the Anakin to my Obi one, No they don't.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Akay, Mommy, we are back in the studio, guys.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Anakin's a semi compliment because he's a beast.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I don't care what we're saying.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I don't care what we're saying today, man, because I'm
- 0:55Speaker 3: excited to be back.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Yeah, we've been.
- 0:57Speaker 3: We haven't recorded for a month, a whole my little
- 1:00Speaker 3: maybe more tricks to the trade Guide.
- 1:02Speaker 1: We were away from a month. Yeah, I mean I
- 1:03Speaker 1: think we might have said.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Did we tell anyone?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Told Patreon a little plug early if.
- 1:08Speaker 3: You want to go over there, yeah, if you guys
- 1:09Speaker 3: want some more.
- 1:12Speaker 1: But we're back.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I'm back from a trip to Bali, Indonesia for a month,
- 1:16Speaker 3: and Jake's back from a two week camping trip up
- 1:18Speaker 3: the East coast of Australia. Yes, sirree, so man, it
- 1:22Speaker 3: was good. Jake picked me up from the airport. I
- 1:24Speaker 3: got a warm hug. Yeah, and I'm excited to be bad.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I didn't think i'd missed the pot as much as
- 1:29Speaker 3: I did, but I really do love it.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I definitely was getting to a point where I think,
- 1:35Speaker 2: I like, because you were gone for two weeks and
- 1:39Speaker 2: we had already pre recorded, and I was still home
- 1:40Speaker 2: before I went away for two weeks, so I just
- 1:44Speaker 2: like all day every day edited and so I got
- 1:46Speaker 2: it all done, and so the two weeks I was away,
- 1:49Speaker 2: all I had to do was just post, just like
- 1:50Speaker 2: when I had good reception. I definitely got to a
- 1:53Speaker 2: point where we ended up going and staying with some
- 1:54Speaker 2: family where there was like, you know, I just had
- 1:56Speaker 2: some time, got out my laptop just like we're doing
- 1:59Speaker 2: a couple of things, and I was like, man, I
- 2:01Speaker 2: really like I kind of want to go back in
- 2:03Speaker 2: my record so I can do some more editing. I
- 2:04Speaker 2: want to do something.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't want to hold it anymore. I think it
- 2:09Speaker 1: was a.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Good like refresher to get us back in the groove
- 2:11Speaker 3: and excited again. Not that we're not always excited, but yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 3: if you just keep doing something repeatively, it gets like
- 2:16Speaker 3: a little bit mundane. Yeah, I think you're right with anything.
- 2:20Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm a keen. I'm keen to get into this.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, me too. You got some startup?
- 2:25Speaker 3: I do Jake when we're in Bali. So I was
- 2:28Speaker 3: just with me and my girlfriend. I thought Jake's at home.
- 2:30Speaker 3: He had two weeks by himself, and there was camp Australia.
- 2:32Speaker 3: It's not quite the same as going overseas, is it.
- 2:36Speaker 3: So I thought I should get him a present. But
- 2:39Speaker 3: not only that, I thought I should get the listeners
- 2:43Speaker 3: are present?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Oh sick.
- 2:44Speaker 3: So I want you to close your eyes and then
- 2:47Speaker 3: I'm going to explain it. Okay, close your eyes, put
- 2:49Speaker 3: on your lap. Oh okay, okay, okay, okay. I am
- 2:53Speaker 3: placing the product on Jake's lap the product. Yes, you
- 2:58Speaker 3: can open your eyes. I have got him a custom
- 3:08Speaker 3: Audie Clark Mummy T shirt.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I hopefully you guys can see that and it doesn't
- 3:15Speaker 1: stop there. What this is, wicked, that's for you to
- 3:19Speaker 1: wear one of me.
- 3:21Speaker 3: This one's for me yo, I got Jake, Jake Daddy
- 3:27Speaker 3: Craig Show the Cabin.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Eleven and handsome fuck you. Oh my god.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I got our friend at Blues and Greens to design him,
- 3:39Speaker 3: did you yes?
- 3:40Speaker 2: And this is so sick.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I've also got a relatables one. Oh bro, oh that
- 3:49Speaker 1: is that.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Is so good.
- 3:52Speaker 3: And what we're going to do is, I've also got
- 3:55Speaker 3: Beth Daddy one just way of the shirt, says Jake
- 4:00Speaker 3: Craig Daddy, I've got Jake's girlfriend one of the shirts.
- 4:03Speaker 3: But what we're doing from here, I got an extra
- 4:05Speaker 3: for everyone, So me and Jake are going to own them.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And there's one extra of a relaid to was one
- 4:09Speaker 3: actually Audi one actra Daddy. And the way someone can
- 4:11Speaker 3: win them is all you have to do is five
- 4:14Speaker 3: star this episode, and we are starting a new.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Facebook group gen.
- 4:20Speaker 3: All you have to do is go over there and
- 4:22Speaker 3: join interact with some posts if you want.
- 4:24Speaker 1: But all you've got to do is join.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah, go join the Facebook, and we're going to pick
- 4:27Speaker 3: someone at random in there to win a shirt.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 4:31Speaker 2: We'll put obviously there'll be a link to the group
- 4:33Speaker 2: yeah in this episode, in this episode, and we'll probably
- 4:35Speaker 2: put something on the stories too, just in case you
- 4:37Speaker 2: miss it.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But what do you think, man? Call it? He is
- 4:40Speaker 1: actually good. They're like thick.
- 4:42Speaker 2: This is like, this is thicker than the shirt I'm wear.
- 4:45Speaker 1: This shirt's from Uniclor custom in Bali. How good is that?
- 4:49Speaker 1: Was it expensive?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Because you're not meant to tell much of president. It
- 4:52Speaker 3: was on a business card, so technically they were I
- 4:58Speaker 3: got it. He gave me a discount because I got nine.
- 5:00Speaker 3: But they ended up being like twenty nine dollars each.
- 5:03Speaker 1: That's cheap.
- 5:03Speaker 2: They're pretty good and they just like print this on it.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, so like this is yours that you'll wear this
- 5:08Speaker 1: that's digital printed, mate.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like in there.
- 5:11Speaker 1: It's good. How goes your This is hilarious laughing when.
- 5:19Speaker 2: That is just so funny. So we're going to give
- 5:21Speaker 2: one a couple of way.
- 5:22Speaker 3: We're going to give one of each a way, wow,
- 5:23Speaker 3: one of each design on the I mean we've got
- 5:26Speaker 3: to and you have one of each, so we both
- 5:30Speaker 3: get one of each and then we give one of
- 5:33Speaker 3: each way.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But then so did Cassie get a mummy one? Yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and then Beth got a daddy one?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Wonderful? Holy shit?
- 5:41Speaker 2: That thanks man, that's all right? Yeah, well you're so
- 5:44Speaker 2: his birthday audiod his birthday and BALI actually as well,
- 5:47Speaker 2: and I mean no excuses, I was probably a bit unorganized,
- 5:52Speaker 2: but I got like, I got your present, like it's
- 5:54Speaker 2: paid for and everything, but unfortunately it needs twenty four hours.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Twenty four hours, so so you've got it here well,
- 6:05Speaker 3: like I mean technically no, but it's like like I
- 6:08Speaker 3: own it and I've paid for like the twenty four
- 6:10Speaker 3: hours delivery service, so it's like it will be here
- 6:14Speaker 3: and I should be able to give it to you tomorrow.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You did have a month. I know I had a month.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I had a month, but here, like, so what I
- 6:22Speaker 2: ended up getting you isn't like what I wanted to
- 6:26Speaker 2: get you, because what I wanted to get you I don't.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I was like, oh, what I want to get him,
- 6:30Speaker 2: I'll just order it like two seconds, but I can.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I can order it seconds before I see him. Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 2: And then it ended up being the thing I wanted
- 6:38Speaker 2: to get you ended up being like like three hundred
- 6:40Speaker 2: and fifty bucks minimum. And I was like, I love him.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It's like I love him, but how much do I
- 6:48Speaker 1: love him?
- 6:50Speaker 3: And so I don't want to be the guy that
- 6:51Speaker 3: like tells you what I wanted to get you because
- 6:53Speaker 3: it's like me just be trying to sound like I'm
- 6:54Speaker 3: good because I didn't get it.
- 6:56Speaker 2: So I'm just going to give you what I.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Got you, and what I got you ended up being
- 6:59Speaker 3: more expense because I paid for the twenty four hour thing,
- 7:01Speaker 3: but it's so worth it in my head, like nothing
- 7:03Speaker 3: more worth it if it goes to plan.
- 7:05Speaker 2: So I'm thinking, either it's probably gonna you guys might
- 7:10Speaker 2: have to go Patreon and I'll probably post it on
- 7:12Speaker 2: Instagram anyway. So if you guys are a Patreons listened
- 7:15Speaker 2: but undercent but funny you say it's coming, because I
- 7:18Speaker 2: actually have another thing coming in with my girlfriend.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Overseas from BALI.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Oh really because it wasn't made in time and I'm
- 7:26Speaker 3: not giving anything else away because I think it's the
- 7:28Speaker 3: best present I've ever given anyone ever for me, it's
- 7:32Speaker 3: fast fast, Yeah that isoul that be.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Though, like this is all that the best present you've
- 7:38Speaker 1: ever given anyone? Much better than that? Really it was
- 7:41Speaker 1: going to take. I almost just said it.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's like we're girls because my girlfriend does this if like.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Like for my birthday or Christmas or even just in general,
- 7:53Speaker 2: like maybe I'll get a message like I bought you
- 7:54Speaker 2: something and she's like, I want to tell you what
- 7:57Speaker 2: it is. And she tells me what it is and
- 7:59Speaker 2: she's like, and I'm like, just.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Let girls always ruin it. I say to her, I
- 8:04Speaker 3: want it to be a surprise.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I love surprise. I can wait.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I could wait a month. You could say to me today,
- 8:12Speaker 2: I bought you a present, just like a random present
- 8:14Speaker 2: that I can give you any time. And it's like
- 8:16Speaker 2: I would be happy to wait a month because my
- 8:18Speaker 2: life hasn't changed yet. It's like when I receive the gift,
- 8:20Speaker 2: it's changed.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'll tell you.
- 8:21Speaker 3: What girls also always do is because they always want
- 8:24Speaker 3: to be good gift givers, so they'll ask you what
- 8:27Speaker 3: you want and they won't really ever get you something
- 8:29Speaker 3: like on a limb.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Like us, we'll always surprise each other. Could be shit,
- 8:32Speaker 1: it could be really good. But girls will be like,
- 8:34Speaker 1: so what do you want?
- 8:34Speaker 3: I'll pick between, like your pair of shoes you want
- 8:36Speaker 3: or like the shirt, Just give me two things.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And it's always kind of sentimental. Yeah, there's always some
- 8:40Speaker 2: sort of sentimental do you reckon? There must be there
- 8:43Speaker 2: must be, just like I some this immense pressure to
- 8:46Speaker 2: be a girl, Like we know that there's an immense
- 8:48Speaker 2: pressure to be a girl in so many ways and
- 8:50Speaker 2: give a good present. Yeah, Like there's like an immense
- 8:53Speaker 2: pressure to be a girl in so many ways. And
- 8:55Speaker 2: then just the added fucking bonus is like you have
- 8:59Speaker 2: to be a good gift giver.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah, to be fair true and good rappers they have
- 9:03Speaker 3: to rap presence good too.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 2: My ex girlfriend, she I remember when we first started dating.
- 9:13Speaker 2: We started dating a couple months before Christmas, think about
- 9:15Speaker 2: your excuse.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Talking about gift giving, talking about rapping present.
- 9:20Speaker 2: And I remember, and I remember getting presents from my
- 9:24Speaker 2: family and she's like, oh, i'll wrap them. I'm really
- 9:26Speaker 2: good at rapping. And I was like, oh yeah, you're
- 9:29Speaker 2: obviously gonna be better than me. And so she wrapped them.
- 9:33Speaker 2: And my initial reaction was like that kind of fucking
- 9:36Speaker 2: sucks in my head like that kind of fucking sucks.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Eh.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And then and then when and my sister was in
- 9:43Speaker 2: Australia that year for Christmas, I believe, and I remember
- 9:46Speaker 2: she just like pulled me aside and was just like,
- 9:49Speaker 2: oh nice, like nice rapping as a joke, like it's
- 9:51Speaker 2: ship you know.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I was like, oh, like such and such.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Did that, and she laughed, and I was like, I
- 9:56Speaker 3: could never because when she did, I was like, yeah,
- 9:58Speaker 3: you're a beast rapping, like you're so good at rapping.
- 10:01Speaker 2: But she fucking sucked out at a.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Similar thing happened to me.
- 10:04Speaker 3: This is the first Christmas, the one had just happened
- 10:06Speaker 3: last year that I had with my girlfriend, and I
- 10:09Speaker 3: was like the first Christmas I've ever had with a partner.
- 10:12Speaker 3: And we went to her house and all her presents
- 10:14Speaker 3: were like beautifully wrapped. My family doesn't give a fuck.
- 10:18Speaker 3: We put like pillowcases and she under there and stuff
- 10:20Speaker 3: like we don't.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Care at all seeing you wrap something in.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Newspaper, yes, newspaper, yeah, whatever, Just the wrap it. That's
- 10:26Speaker 3: what we do, and it covers the gift. And like
- 10:29Speaker 3: all the wrapping paper in my head, I could have
- 10:31Speaker 3: bought it. To be fair, we all re recycle wrapping paper,
- 10:34Speaker 3: your parents and those parents that pick it open. Yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 3: my mom says, recycles everything, so we'll reuse it. So
- 10:39Speaker 3: I only got presents for her nephews who were like
- 10:42Speaker 3: three and five or something. Yeah, and my present was
- 10:45Speaker 3: you could tell I brought it, Like the rest of
- 10:48Speaker 3: them are beautiful, like Santa wrapped him and then I
- 10:50Speaker 3: was just there and I brought this. I thought a
- 10:51Speaker 3: gold would have looked good, and I kind of tried
- 10:53Speaker 3: really hard to wrap it put it down there, and
- 10:55Speaker 3: I was like, fuck, it looks like the kids wrapped it.
- 10:59Speaker 1: So you were in Bali for a month, yes, I was.
- 11:03Speaker 2: How was it?
- 11:04Speaker 1: It was really good? Actually, I love it over there,
- 11:07Speaker 1: hates so I wouldn't. I would call it a working holiday,
- 11:10Speaker 1: right to be fair like.
- 11:11Speaker 3: So I was still doing a bit of potty stuff
- 11:13Speaker 3: like probably I don't know, two or three hours a day,
- 11:16Speaker 3: so very relaxed, just like a bit of editing, answering,
- 11:18Speaker 3: and I was literally just doing the same things i'd
- 11:20Speaker 3: do here over there.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I'm a bit of a creature of habit.
- 11:22Speaker 3: But then going to a nice restaurant, so i'd edit go
- 11:25Speaker 3: to the gym and then I'd go have a nice
- 11:26Speaker 3: dinner and a sunset. That was basically what I did.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Go to the occasional message sauna, ice bath. We had
- 11:33Speaker 3: a couple romantic retreats to Limbogan or Noosa Door if
- 11:36Speaker 3: you know where that is in Bali. But overall I
- 11:39Speaker 3: loved it and it was much more chill than when
- 11:41Speaker 3: we went last year.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Anyone listening. Remember we went and did a tour in Bali.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Just we moved around. We had the villa the whole time,
- 11:46Speaker 1: which was way better.
- 11:48Speaker 3: It felt like a holiday because I'd just get back relaxed,
- 11:50Speaker 3: didn't have to fucking move our.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Bags every week or villa. It went somewhere else. You
- 11:54Speaker 1: took a little bag.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was scooting around everywhere, semi sketchy, but
- 11:58Speaker 3: didn't crash.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Girlfriend crash streets.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Three times in quotations.
- 12:05Speaker 3: She had to get her fucking bike replaced. Replaced, Yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 3: because one of the panels of her scooter came off.
- 12:11Speaker 3: To be fair, it wasn't her fault. But did they
- 12:13Speaker 3: charge you? It was thirty bucks. She was showing up.
- 12:16Speaker 3: They were so sad, like they're showing you have to
- 12:17Speaker 3: pay for this story. It was like twenty five dollars
- 12:19Speaker 3: and she was like, fine, she should.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Have un a barter it down like that.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It doesn't cost that much.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I was talking to someone the other night at the
- 12:27Speaker 2: dinner and they had a friend that went to a
- 12:30Speaker 2: Bucks weekend in Bali and they their bike got hit,
- 12:34Speaker 2: so they didn't do the damage, but it was damage.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm gonna was yeah.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And the dudes that he rented the bike off were like,
- 12:40Speaker 2: you have to pay for it, and he was like, no,
- 12:43Speaker 2: I didn't do it. And so they were like a
- 12:45Speaker 2: group of them camped outside their villa really and it
- 12:49Speaker 2: was a day before they were liaving. So they woke
- 12:50Speaker 2: up at six am jumping the walls of the villa,
- 12:53Speaker 2: ran into a taxi and they were getting chased and
- 12:55Speaker 2: they got to the airport and they didn't fall them.
- 12:56Speaker 1: All the way to the airport.
- 12:57Speaker 3: I was like, fuck, bro, it's so easy for us
- 13:00Speaker 3: to pay for it where it's like fifty one hundred
- 13:02Speaker 3: dollars and there was so much money exactly.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I was thinking, like, why didn't he just give him
- 13:05Speaker 1: one hundred? It's kind of a dog.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I know, it's like an hour of our times, but
- 13:09Speaker 3: two hours of our time or whatever.
- 13:10Speaker 1: So wild. But how was your camping trip? It was
- 13:14Speaker 1: really good man.
- 13:15Speaker 3: I was going to go, oh, look, I had fun,
- 13:19Speaker 3: but I wanted to actually ask you what was it
- 13:22Speaker 3: like to spend a four month that's the longest you've
- 13:25Speaker 3: ever spent with your girlfriend?
- 13:26Speaker 1: It was by far.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I think the longest we'd had together was maybe five
- 13:31Speaker 3: push in a week. Yeah, but it was only ever
- 13:34Speaker 3: like an activity. We were like going somewhere or doing something,
- 13:37Speaker 3: which is to be fair, what we're doing in Bali.
- 13:39Speaker 3: But I thought it was interesting. I wanted to ask you,
- 13:41Speaker 3: this is the first time in any type of relationship
- 13:45Speaker 3: that I've sort of from a my side, the mail perspective,
- 13:49Speaker 3: got to seeing what it was like to be with
- 13:51Speaker 3: a girl just in her day to day life.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Like because in a relationship when like you first start dating,
- 13:57Speaker 3: hang out for like two or three sleepovers and you're
- 13:59Speaker 3: like there each other and it's amazing.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It's fireworks. Not saying this isn't it's still great. I
- 14:03Speaker 1: loved it.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I think maybe it's even better, but like you're just
- 14:06Speaker 3: there doing normal things. That was the first time I
- 14:10Speaker 3: got to see that in a relationship, which I thought
- 14:12Speaker 3: was really interesting. Yeah, because you never lived with them, Yeah,
- 14:14Speaker 3: I've never I've never lived with a partner. But like,
- 14:17Speaker 3: have you seen that with any of your previous relationships.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Well, I had Yeah, I had one one girlfriend that
- 14:23Speaker 2: was that was with for a while where we didn't
- 14:24Speaker 2: live together, but like I lived alone.
- 14:27Speaker 3: She would just like stay for a lot of nights.
- 14:30Speaker 3: But I never once even was like, oh, I want.
- 14:32Speaker 2: To live with her. Yeah, like Beth is the only
- 14:35Speaker 2: the first girl from where I like planned to live
- 14:37Speaker 2: with her.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm maturing, if I just like
- 14:41Speaker 3: actually love her, like she's like the first person.
- 14:45Speaker 2: But even in saying that, Beth and I we went
- 14:50Speaker 2: away for two weeks, but it was like it wasn't
- 14:52Speaker 2: day to day was it was.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It was a holiday. Yeah, it was like we both
- 14:55Speaker 1: we didn't do anything. Yeah, exactly.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Yeah, But I thought it was a kind of like
- 14:59Speaker 3: seeing a different inside of love because like when you
- 15:01Speaker 3: first start dating, I said, it's all sparks and emotions
- 15:03Speaker 3: and you can sort of plan to be on your
- 15:04Speaker 3: best behavior and like whatever. And this time, like all
- 15:07Speaker 3: your clothes are everywhere, you're doing whatever, like you're having showers,
- 15:10Speaker 3: you're leaving shit around, like you just living like you
- 15:11Speaker 3: try and do your best, but you still have little
- 15:13Speaker 3: things here there the other person off a little bit.
- 15:15Speaker 1: You figure out, oh, yeah, did you.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Learn some like like did she learn did Cassie learn some?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Maybe like our routines?
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, like your routines, but also like let's go so
- 15:27Speaker 2: she she would come to your house, right, and maybe
- 15:29Speaker 2: she sees in your bathroom that I don't know, you
- 15:30Speaker 2: leave some clothes in there and you pick them up
- 15:32Speaker 2: like just two days later, I don't know, like every
- 15:34Speaker 2: guy does. So she sees that, but because she doesn't
- 15:36Speaker 2: live there, she doesn't have to deal with it.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Really.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, did she see anything like that where she's like, like,
- 15:40Speaker 2: we're both pretty good.
- 15:41Speaker 3: She thinks I'm a bit more messy than her. She's
- 15:44Speaker 3: messy in her own way. Yeah right, yeah, ways she messy?
- 15:50Speaker 1: What ways is she mess She?
- 15:52Speaker 3: I mean bedroom, bathroom, clean, living room, leaves it everywhere.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Oh me, I'm the opposite.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Funny, yeah, but funny so bit. I didn't care at all,
- 16:01Speaker 1: but she does a little bit. But it was interesting.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I think it was like the next phase of love's
- 16:07Speaker 3: kind of thing, the mundane parts of life, and then
- 16:09Speaker 3: you're a like bond like gets even stronger because you
- 16:12Speaker 3: just it's still there but you're doing boring shit but
- 16:14Speaker 3: it's so still so lovey dovey. Yeah, and it was
- 16:16Speaker 3: good to see for me. It was just interesting to
- 16:18Speaker 3: see I've never experienced that before. Yeah, right, which was cool,
- 16:21Speaker 3: very fun.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Well.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I actually my because mine was a holiday, was a
- 16:25Speaker 2: bit different. But I have a list of things I
- 16:28Speaker 2: learned about Beth Weld camping. It's it a long list, Ah,
- 16:31Speaker 2: not really, but it's a decent little list. Here where
- 16:34Speaker 2: is it?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Here we go?
- 16:35Speaker 3: I called it camping trip findings. This is what I
- 16:38Speaker 3: learned about my girlfriend.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Well, camping okay, because we did a lot of driving,
- 16:44Speaker 2: switching places. As soon as Beth gets in the car,
- 16:47Speaker 2: she says, I could we soon, but don't worry, it's
- 16:50Speaker 2: not urgent, and then ten minutes later, I really need
- 16:53Speaker 2: to pee now. So every fucking time we got in
- 16:57Speaker 2: the car ready to go for like a two hour
- 16:58Speaker 2: drives like well like ten minutes and she's like, oh,
- 17:02Speaker 2: I could WI, And I'm like, oh, I can stop.
- 17:04Speaker 2: She's like, oh no, that's all right. She's like I
- 17:06Speaker 2: can make it. And then it's like ten minutes that
- 17:08Speaker 2: she's like, yeah, we better stop it.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Ten minutes, No, no, every ten minutes, just like every
- 17:11Speaker 3: start and then she's good for a while.
- 17:14Speaker 2: But like we had Henry with this and kind of
- 17:16Speaker 2: you have to like stop to let him wi. Anyway,
- 17:18Speaker 2: we one time actually got him one time we stopped.
- 17:22Speaker 2: We we kind of pushed it and we went a
- 17:25Speaker 2: little longer and he like wet the bed I felt
- 17:28Speaker 2: so bad for him.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I had to like force him to be there.
- 17:30Speaker 2: He was like we were driving, and then we stopped
- 17:34Speaker 2: and we got him out because he has like a
- 17:35Speaker 2: little car bed and he was chilling and that just
- 17:37Speaker 2: sleeping the whole time in the car.
- 17:38Speaker 1: He loves it.
- 17:39Speaker 2: But he must have just been busting and just like
- 17:41Speaker 2: didn't make any noise, like he didn't know what to
- 17:43Speaker 2: do in the car like at home he scratches the door.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And then we stopped and I was like looking at
- 17:48Speaker 1: him and I was like, he's really wet.
- 17:49Speaker 2: And I was like, his whole bed's drenched, and I
- 17:51Speaker 2: was like smelling it, and it didn't it just like
- 17:53Speaker 2: water because like he was hydrated, I guess, but he
- 17:55Speaker 2: definitely wet the bed.
- 17:56Speaker 1: And when we pulled him out.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Of the car, it was like he was embarrassed and
- 17:59Speaker 2: he was kind of just like kind of just like
- 18:01Speaker 2: huffing his cheeks like he was crying. And I've never
- 18:04Speaker 2: felt more bad. I was like, I'm so sorry I
- 18:06Speaker 2: didn't let you out. I'm so sorry I didn't let
- 18:08Speaker 2: you out of me. I'm so sorry.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Like a little human, you probably didn't give a shit
- 18:11Speaker 3: a be To be fair, you probably put it on.
- 18:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Second thing I learn about Beth is if I go
- 18:18Speaker 2: in to a petrol station, I twice I bought a
- 18:24Speaker 2: Pepsi Max for us to share. Best in the best drink.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Ever, shit's on cozero facts.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I bought a Pepsi Max for us to share in
- 18:33Speaker 2: the car, and so when I got back in the car,
- 18:35Speaker 2: I gave it to her and I was like, because
- 18:36Speaker 2: I was like, I just don't want to have two.
- 18:37Speaker 2: We don't both need a full one, not not for calories,
- 18:40Speaker 2: but like I was like yeah, And so I go
- 18:41Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, I bought.
- 18:42Speaker 1: This for us.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And then like ten minutes back into the drive, I
- 18:45Speaker 2: look over and it's three quarters in and I was like,
- 18:48Speaker 2: what are you doing that? And she's like, I thought
- 18:50Speaker 2: you bought it for me. I was like, I said,
- 18:51Speaker 2: I bought.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It for us. Twice. This happened twice. Twice it happened.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I was like, Hey, that's not all.
- 18:59Speaker 3: I was like, fuck you, especially when you're driving.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Going to sip it on this thing. Okay.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Number three is dirty feet equals Beth grumpy, really bro
- 19:16Speaker 2: She was like first two days on camp and we
- 19:19Speaker 2: stayed at Crescent Head and we started a delicate campground
- 19:21Speaker 2: and it's like a bit like sandy, but it's like
- 19:23Speaker 2: dirty sand, and so she would get a bit of
- 19:25Speaker 2: sand and issues and then her feet would be dirty
- 19:27Speaker 2: and just wouldn't shut up about Like she's like, I
- 19:30Speaker 2: can't go to sleep until I clean my feet. And
- 19:32Speaker 2: I'm like, well, I've got baby wipes and shit, like
- 19:34Speaker 2: just wipe your feet.
- 19:35Speaker 1: It's fine, you know, we're camping.
- 19:36Speaker 2: And she just was like, so fine, pretty much fine
- 19:40Speaker 2: with everything else, but she just hated having dirty feet.
- 19:43Speaker 3: It's showing a city slick away. She's like, before we
- 19:46Speaker 3: go camp she's like, I used to go camping with
- 19:48Speaker 3: my dad all the time.
- 19:49Speaker 2: And then I went camping and I was like, how often.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Did you go camping with you? I think there is
- 19:53Speaker 1: a little bit we probably take it.
- 19:55Speaker 3: For granted a little bit because we're from the coast,
- 19:57Speaker 3: which is like an hour and a half out of
- 19:58Speaker 3: the big city, Like it used to being a little
- 20:01Speaker 3: bit more dirty, I agree, Whereas like this they don't
- 20:03Speaker 3: see the nature as much as we do.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Like we're surrounded by national parks, yeah, and the beach.
- 20:09Speaker 2: If I remember as a kid, you were probably the same.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I would walk barefoot everywhere. Like now I don't do
- 20:16Speaker 2: it as much of my feet aren't as tough. But
- 20:17Speaker 2: when I was a kid, I reckon. I just had
- 20:19Speaker 2: callous feet because like on the I would run on
- 20:22Speaker 2: the road down to the oval to play soccer and
- 20:23Speaker 2: stuff like we just play soccer barefoot, and just everything
- 20:26Speaker 2: was barefoot.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Like got to a point where I could just handle
- 20:28Speaker 2: the hot sand and stuff that's necessario. Yeah, how good
- 20:31Speaker 2: is it?
- 20:31Speaker 3: And a kid and just I remember like it used
- 20:33Speaker 3: to the tire used to get real hot, and shoes
- 20:35Speaker 3: you like to put your towel on the tire, yes,
- 20:38Speaker 3: and do like little hops there was.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Here's a tactic for anyone that's like not big beach
- 20:42Speaker 2: goers is if you go to a beach and the
- 20:46Speaker 2: sand is like blistering hot, dig your feet into the
- 20:50Speaker 2: sand because like even just like this much further down
- 20:53Speaker 2: the sand is cold.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 2: So yeah, there's a little tip for it. Look, Beth
- 21:06Speaker 2: cannot handle bugs.
- 21:11Speaker 4: She's like she's like, oh man, she was getting so
- 21:14Speaker 4: overstimulated by the bugs. If you go, if anyone's on
- 21:17Speaker 4: like the top tier Patreon where we post vlogs, there's
- 21:20Speaker 4: a vlog and there's just two scenes in our vog
- 21:22Speaker 4: where a fly is flying around the head. She's like, oh, okay,
- 21:27Speaker 4: here's a question for you. This is something I learned,
- 21:29Speaker 4: not about Beth, but just like about girls in general
- 21:32Speaker 4: on the camping trip. If I if Cassie was to
- 21:36Speaker 4: ask you, if your girlfriend was to ask you, Oh, Audie,
- 21:40Speaker 4: while you're out, can you please pick me up some tampons?
- 21:43Speaker 4: I need the like super max size or like just
- 21:47Speaker 4: like super size tampons.
- 21:50Speaker 2: What does that mean to you?
- 21:52Speaker 3: Fuck? I knew, I know there's different sizes, but super
- 21:57Speaker 3: max And she said, does that.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Mean basically, what does the sizing mean in tampons?
- 22:01Speaker 1: Oh?
- 22:02Speaker 3: No, idea. I was going to say the circumference. But
- 22:06Speaker 3: is that not right?
- 22:07Speaker 2: Because Beth she she got a period.
- 22:11Speaker 1: No, no, no, it must mean how heavy you flow is? Dude,
- 22:15Speaker 1: you're genius.
- 22:17Speaker 2: That's good, yes, because so Beth goes, she got a
- 22:21Speaker 2: period where we were somewhere and I was like, oh,
- 22:23Speaker 2: there's a general salt ten minutes where it looked up.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I was, I'll run and get you some stuff. She goes, Okay,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I need like the supermax.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Size or just learn something there. She doesn't need the
- 22:32Speaker 1: supermax size.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I was like, oh, you got that big puss.
- 22:37Speaker 3: That's immediately my friend, Like, I just said it out
- 22:41Speaker 3: loud and she was just like.
- 22:46Speaker 1: And she was like, she was like.
- 22:49Speaker 3: No, it's about the flow. It's not about how big
- 22:52Speaker 3: it is. So it's how heavy your flow is. So
- 22:54Speaker 3: if you're a girl with a light flow, you just
- 22:56Speaker 3: get like the small size. It's the same circumference, but
- 22:59Speaker 3: it just does absorbers much. That makes so much more sense,
- 23:02Speaker 3: I know, because I was thinking, who's walking.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Around for these big That's what I'm saying. It's like
- 23:06Speaker 1: super max.
- 23:06Speaker 3: It's like, what are you so like contradictioning of condoms
- 23:11Speaker 3: because you get like super large condoms that go for
- 23:13Speaker 3: bigger Peter my brain, I know, it's a different thing.
- 23:17Speaker 2: And we're just dumb. Yeah, we're just stupid. But he's
- 23:21Speaker 2: actually I was today years old when I found out that,
- 23:25Speaker 2: Like well, I mean a couple of weeks years old
- 23:27Speaker 2: that I found out. That's why.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yeah, we only found out like last year that there's
- 23:31Speaker 3: different sizes, but I didn't know what the size before.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Okay, all right, the last one comes with a story.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Oh god, Okay.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Camping trip findings for Beth her mood heavily depends on
- 23:46Speaker 2: if she's pooped yet. And in brackets, we've got ibs. Queen,
- 23:50Speaker 2: she has ibs. Yeah, so oh man, can you tell this? Yeah, yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 2: I can. So this is a holy fucker. So we
- 24:03Speaker 2: were okay, long story, I'll tell. Two days before we
- 24:10Speaker 2: went camping, Beth had her birthday party. And Beth hasn't
- 24:16Speaker 2: drank since her birthday party the year prior, oh whole year,
- 24:23Speaker 2: and so she was like, her friends were keen to
- 24:26Speaker 2: have a big nine and she was like, Okay, I'll
- 24:27Speaker 2: have a big night too. We went and we booked
- 24:29Speaker 2: a dog friendly rooftop bar, and I was like, I'm
- 24:34Speaker 2: not going to drink, so I'll take Henry home at
- 24:36Speaker 2: like five and just like chill with Henry. And then
- 24:40Speaker 2: so they were drinking at this rooftop bar and they
- 24:43Speaker 2: were and I left it five. We got there atwo
- 24:45Speaker 2: I left at five. We had lunch and everything, and
- 24:47Speaker 2: then they were drinking and like when I left, she
- 24:50Speaker 2: was a little bit tipsy, which was funny to see, like, sorry,
- 24:52Speaker 2: a little bit tips That.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Was the first time he saw a drunk, The first
- 24:54Speaker 1: time I saw a drunk.
- 24:55Speaker 2: And she's like, she's not a bad drunk. She's just funny,
- 24:56Speaker 2: like blah blah blah, and and so I left and
- 25:00Speaker 2: then they stayed at that rooftop bar until like nine
- 25:05Speaker 2: thirty or ten o'clock from two big beginnings. Yeah, and
- 25:09Speaker 2: so I'm getting messages from her as well, like I'm sober,
- 25:13Speaker 2: you know, I could come home? Should I come home?
- 25:15Speaker 2: I'm sober? And I'm like, you're not sober.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I was like you, So, I was hoping you were
- 25:20Speaker 3: going to get some spicy and so I went to get.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Home and then at about oh man, like I, Joanna
- 25:28Speaker 2: got an uber home at maybe like eleven, and then
- 25:31Speaker 2: I kind of went to sleep a bit, and like
- 25:32Speaker 2: I said, I'd picked them up, and then they went
- 25:34Speaker 2: out to a place called Cargo Bar and Brangaroo, and
- 25:37Speaker 2: then I think I went and picked her up at
- 25:40Speaker 2: like one am, and she was, yeah, she was wasted.
- 25:42Speaker 2: You know, I had a big night. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Next day woke up and she woke up fine, and
- 25:49Speaker 2: I was like, how are you okay? You haven't drank
- 25:51Speaker 2: for so long and you were wasted last night. And
- 25:53Speaker 2: then it turns out she woke up drunk still, oh right,
- 25:56Speaker 2: And then me and Juanna went home because we stayed
- 25:59Speaker 2: at Best. We went home for Father's Day. Next day
- 26:01Speaker 2: was FA's Day. Went home for Father's Day, and then
- 26:04Speaker 2: like an hour after I leave Best, like, oh no,
- 26:07Speaker 2: I'm not good now, vomiting all day, super hungover. And
- 26:12Speaker 2: then because we were leaving the next day to go
- 26:14Speaker 2: on a camping trip to go pick up the car
- 26:15Speaker 2: we hired, I went back after Father's Day. Yeah, and
- 26:19Speaker 2: she wasn't good, Like she was getting a bit better,
- 26:22Speaker 2: and then we went to sleep that night and we
- 26:23Speaker 2: were leaving the next day, like she had a pack
- 26:25Speaker 2: and everything, and she was like so regretting it, like
- 26:27Speaker 2: she missed Father's Day. Yeah, and her dad didn't care
- 26:29Speaker 2: because like she never drinks, so he just thought it
- 26:30Speaker 2: was hilarious. Like they didn't really do anything.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And so.
- 26:34Speaker 2: That night, at like two am, she wakes up and
- 26:37Speaker 2: she feels sick and she's trying to vomit, and then
- 26:40Speaker 2: she heard her yelling at my name, and she got
- 26:42Speaker 2: she was just like in heaps of pain. And like
- 26:44Speaker 2: the night prior, she had got like a quick script
- 26:46Speaker 2: for a uti she felt like she was having and
- 26:48Speaker 2: all that and so and she just was like in
- 26:50Speaker 2: pain all over. She said, like it was excruciating and
- 26:52Speaker 2: she suffers from like cysts exploding, and she said, it
- 26:55Speaker 2: doesn't they're not one of them felt the same. And
- 26:57Speaker 2: so I caught her mum, and mom was like, oh, yeah,
- 26:59Speaker 2: like take her to the hospital. Took her to emergency
- 27:01Speaker 2: room and we were there for a few hours. Basically,
- 27:03Speaker 2: they just said like they gave her like heaps of
- 27:06Speaker 2: like end done and shit for the pain, like ever,
- 27:07Speaker 2: all this stuff, Like she had like crazy acid coming
- 27:10Speaker 2: up here they had to give it like IV pentop result,
- 27:13Speaker 2: which is like for that. Basically, they gave us all this,
- 27:15Speaker 2: gave her all these meds, and they were like, we
- 27:17Speaker 2: just think it's like the uti all the vomiting just
- 27:19Speaker 2: like made all the bile come up, and it's just
- 27:20Speaker 2: all that combined. And so we the next day we
- 27:23Speaker 2: went and picked up the car. We didn't leave that day.
- 27:25Speaker 2: We went and stayed at my place. And then the
- 27:27Speaker 2: next day after that she was sweet, so we left.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And so from the day of her going to the
- 27:31Speaker 2: hospital until two days into our camping trip, she hadn't
- 27:35Speaker 2: pooped because of all the meds, right, so she didn't
- 27:39Speaker 2: poove from all the meds, and so she was like, oh,
- 27:41Speaker 2: I just feel bloated, I feel crap, I feel like shit,
- 27:44Speaker 2: I need to shit. And I was like, fuck yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 2: I'm doing like two a day.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I'm scared.
- 27:50Speaker 3: And so she went and bought chocolate laxatives and that's smart. Well,
- 27:54Speaker 3: I mean yeah, because she couldn't pooh. I guess like
- 27:56Speaker 3: I've never made it. I feel like it just happens
- 27:58Speaker 3: naturally at the end of the day.
- 27:59Speaker 2: I don't know some people it doesn't.
- 28:01Speaker 1: We're lucky.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I feel like adding more drugs, fucking like, are you sure?
- 28:06Speaker 2: So she she fucking.
- 28:10Speaker 1: She took three of them that this is one or one?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Like I don't know.
- 28:14Speaker 3: She took like three at like eleven am. Are we
- 28:17Speaker 3: learning something about about Beth here? She decikes to take
- 28:19Speaker 3: things a little bit too far. She took three at
- 28:24Speaker 3: like eleven am.
- 28:25Speaker 2: And then that night still hadn't pooped, right, she tried,
- 28:28Speaker 2: didn't And then we went to bed really early that
- 28:31Speaker 2: night because we didn't have reception her phones. Went to
- 28:33Speaker 2: bed like six pm. It was great, like fell asleep
- 28:35Speaker 2: and everything. It was tired, and so woke up. I
- 28:39Speaker 2: woke up for a p yeah, thinking it was like
- 28:42Speaker 2: five am. Yeah, I woke up for a pee, went
- 28:44Speaker 2: back in and turns out it was like eleven thirty. Yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 2: it was like eleven.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I was like, oh, well, I'm just gonna go correact
- 28:50Speaker 1: to be that and.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Beth is like, oh, I don't feel very good.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I wonder why.
- 28:58Speaker 2: So she goes and she tries to go take a
- 29:00Speaker 2: shit in the toilets at the campsite. She comes back
- 29:03Speaker 2: and she's like it didn't work, and she starts like
- 29:07Speaker 2: she gets into bed and she's.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Like, Oh, there's.
- 29:09Speaker 3: A fire in my belly. There's a fire in my belly.
- 29:11Speaker 3: She kept on saying that, and I was like, shut up.
- 29:14Speaker 3: She just kept saying like, oh.
- 29:16Speaker 1: There's a fire in my belly. Oh my god.
- 29:19Speaker 2: And so I doze back off. I think she dozes
- 29:23Speaker 2: back off, and then she wakes up, and every time
- 29:25Speaker 2: I kind of like wake back up because I already
- 29:28Speaker 2: slept for a while, she would keep on going like.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Oh, there's a fire in my belly. There's the fire
- 29:32Speaker 1: in my belly.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And then she finally, at about twenty past twelve, nearly
- 29:35Speaker 2: an hour later, she just gets up to go like
- 29:38Speaker 2: squat to do a wi just in the bush.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, And she squats to do a.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Wee and she's like not feeling good and I and
- 29:48Speaker 2: I can hear her start farting, right will squatting, and
- 29:53Speaker 2: so she's like she's like pit down o Piers and
- 29:56Speaker 2: she's farting, and I'm like kind of thinking, like that's fuck,
- 29:58Speaker 2: she's going for it. I thought it was hilarious. And
- 30:02Speaker 2: then I just hear the farting kind of stop, and
- 30:06Speaker 2: then I just hear like like she just kind of
- 30:08Speaker 2: like pit upatters off and she like goes to the toilet,
- 30:10Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, I was like, I'm so happy
- 30:12Speaker 2: for her, like all of the like the squatting and
- 30:14Speaker 2: the fighting like release it, like who go girl, blah
- 30:17Speaker 2: blah blah.
- 30:18Speaker 3: And she runs off to the toilet, supporting boy. And
- 30:21Speaker 3: then like half an hour later she comes in to
- 30:25Speaker 3: the tent and she's giggling, and I was like, and
- 30:28Speaker 3: I like had fallen back asleep even for half an hour,
- 30:31Speaker 3: and she comes back in the wake up and she's
- 30:32Speaker 3: like giggling, and I was like what And she's like
- 30:35Speaker 3: and she's like, oh, she's like giggling her a little butt.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Off, oh blah blah blah blah.
- 30:39Speaker 2: And so first off, she's kind of like, oh, I
- 30:41Speaker 2: just like just like sprayed that toilet.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Imagine I can imagine laxity.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Yeah, She's like, yeah, the fire in my belly is gone.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And then she's like the reason she's laughing is because
- 30:51Speaker 3: she's like, you know how I was like winging and
- 30:54Speaker 3: farting just before she goes. The reason I ran off
- 30:58Speaker 3: is because the last far, like a little bit of
- 31:01Speaker 3: shit came out and I was like, I was like,
- 31:06Speaker 3: no fucking way, and she had to pick it up
- 31:09Speaker 3: with one of Henry's Pooh bags.
- 31:12Speaker 1: She should put some dirt over it, oh man.
- 31:15Speaker 2: And I thought it was the funniest thing that's ever happened.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Is fun And I was thinking, like the relief must
- 31:20Speaker 2: have been insane.
- 31:22Speaker 3: So overall camping with Beth well, I mean, if you
- 31:26Speaker 3: get one word to describe it, mate.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Oh interesting, it was interesting. It was fucking so good.
- 31:39Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 31:40Speaker 3: That's all right, Jake, that was a good story. I've
- 31:43Speaker 3: actually got one myself, and it was on my birthday.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Oh and it.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Was kind of a little bit of a birthday.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Present, I guess, i'd say for myself.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Oh so on my birthday was actually the Thursday, twenty
- 31:57Speaker 3: second of August, and I can't remember maybe it was
- 31:59Speaker 3: the Friday Saturday Love was Lost Temper Trap. We're playing
- 32:04Speaker 3: in Bali at the Lawn.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Where'd you go? Well to do?
- 32:08Speaker 3: How the hell you make me fall in love with you?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Which was I was super stoked because I actually really
- 32:12Speaker 3: like them. Yeah, And so then we had pres with
- 32:15Speaker 3: Jack out audio production because Jack went with you. Jack
- 32:18Speaker 3: was over there for it and a couple other friends
- 32:20Speaker 3: Harry Blues and Greens, partying drinking, getting heaps drunk, and
- 32:23Speaker 3: I'm on WhatsApp and I booked a daybed and messaging
- 32:26Speaker 3: what time did they message me what time I should come?
- 32:28Speaker 3: And I said, what time did Temper Trap come out?
- 32:30Speaker 3: And they said after sunset? So I was like sure,
- 32:35Speaker 3: seven o'clock yeaheah, yea yeah. I was like, oh, we'll
- 32:36Speaker 3: get there about six six thirty, just before they come out,
- 32:39Speaker 3: and I was like six. So we preyed really hard
- 32:41Speaker 3: to get there so we didn't have to buy that
- 32:43Speaker 3: many drinks at the villa and we get a go
- 32:45Speaker 3: Jack there and we get there at about I think it
- 32:46Speaker 3: was six o'clock. We get there and I booked a
- 32:48Speaker 3: thousand dollars day bedy.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Booked, pre booked it.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Get their shittest daybed back corner and I'm like, are
- 32:55Speaker 3: you guys serious? And I was pretty drunk and had
- 32:57Speaker 3: some confidence, and I was like, hey, like, this isn't
- 32:59Speaker 3: this isn't really on. Hey like, there's a thousand dollars
- 33:01Speaker 3: day better And I can't even see the stage, Like
- 33:03Speaker 3: what's going on? And they said, well, we have this
- 33:04Speaker 3: other day bed over here which you can see the
- 33:06Speaker 3: water and the stage for another thousand dollars.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, I was pretty drunk too.
- 33:12Speaker 3: We had if I split it, it was going to be
- 33:13Speaker 3: like one hundred fifty do two hundred dollars each and
- 33:16Speaker 3: I was like, fair enough, I'll just do that. Why
- 33:18Speaker 3: and they said when I sat down, I don't know
- 33:20Speaker 3: why I was doing it because it's my birthday maybe
- 33:21Speaker 3: or I was just like I'm the beast, charge charge.
- 33:25Speaker 3: And I was like, do you want to pay now
- 33:26Speaker 3: or at the end? And I was like at the
- 33:28Speaker 3: It's like when I'm more drunk, like I want to
- 33:30Speaker 3: pay at the end. I don't want a cop a
- 33:31Speaker 3: thousand dollars fucking tap right now?
- 33:33Speaker 2: You know you won't buy any more drinks.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Yeah, So we go there, we're can it come with
- 33:37Speaker 3: a bottle of gray goroose for a thousand dollars, which
- 33:39Speaker 3: is all rightwew bigs his bottle of grey grooves like
- 33:41Speaker 3: the medium size one, not the massive of the medium one.
- 33:43Speaker 3: So I don't know what's that sixty to seventy dollars
- 33:45Speaker 3: something something like that. Really good Temper Tap comes out
- 33:49Speaker 3: nine thirty. Fuck bro, So I was already pass my peak.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Cassie fucked. Really, she was fucked.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I was even fun.
- 33:57Speaker 3: She was fine before Temper Chap came out, but they
- 33:59Speaker 3: came out so late that she was like past their
- 34:01Speaker 3: peak and like she was just dead. I was tired
- 34:04Speaker 3: and not drunk anymore. Yeah, so I was like, I'm
- 34:05Speaker 3: so over this and I don't know if this is
- 34:07Speaker 3: bad to say. Tempera Trap came out and on Spotify
- 34:10Speaker 3: the lead singer is Indonesian, which I knew. Oh, Spotify
- 34:13Speaker 3: like must auto tune him or something. Oh they auto
- 34:16Speaker 3: tuned the Indonesian accent out of his voice for spot
- 34:19Speaker 3: because you listened to the song. Yeah, he doesn't sound
- 34:21Speaker 3: Indonesian at all. No.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I thought they were Astralian because they're from Melbourne.
- 34:24Speaker 3: No, he's Indonesian. He's obviously Indonesian. Australian, Indonesian American.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Yea, And but he came out like it's still good.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Don't get me wrong, but I'm like, sure, this is
- 34:32Speaker 3: the same guy, Like it was really weird. It was
- 34:35Speaker 3: weird that different, just a classic Indonesian accent. He was
- 34:38Speaker 3: still good. But I was like, Spotify, I've obviously tuned
- 34:41Speaker 3: this out a little bit. How interesting, which was really interesting.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Maybe maybe they maybe he was sick, maybe and they
- 34:48Speaker 2: had to that's what they came out late because they
- 34:49Speaker 2: had to teach someone that looked.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Like maybe but if some kept pissing off that he
- 34:53Speaker 3: kept saying like, we haven't performed so long, guys, We're
- 34:56Speaker 3: so happy to be back. And then like I was like,
- 34:58Speaker 3: stop saying that. It makes me sound like it. Yeah,
- 35:02Speaker 3: we have been so long since we perform. But it's
- 35:04Speaker 3: been so long, guys. He said it like ten times,
- 35:07Speaker 3: and he was he spoke proper English, completely good, but
- 35:10Speaker 3: he just had a little Indonesian twang to it. Maybe
- 35:12Speaker 3: we just don't hear it in Spotify. Maybe maybe yeah, yeah,
- 35:14Speaker 3: yeah exactly, But that was beside the point. Was an
- 35:17Speaker 3: interesting thing going on in the background. Yeah, anyway, they
- 35:20Speaker 3: had like fifteen twenty minutes left and like we'll get
- 35:22Speaker 3: out of here before everyone starts to leave. Yeah, And
- 35:25Speaker 3: I said, oh, I'll go pay the bill. And they
- 35:27Speaker 3: came out and asked me to tap my card and
- 35:31Speaker 3: it was like one hundred and twenty bucks for the
- 35:33Speaker 3: Greg Goose.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I just had to pay the Greg Goose and some
- 35:36Speaker 3: like mixes and shit. Yeah, And I was like I
- 35:38Speaker 3: tapped it and I was like okay, Like am I
- 35:40Speaker 3: good to go?
- 35:41Speaker 1: And I look him in the eyes, He's like, yep,
- 35:42Speaker 1: good to go. Have a good night.
- 35:43Speaker 3: So they didn't they didn't want to charge you for
- 35:45Speaker 3: I don't know if they didn't want to charge me
- 35:47Speaker 3: or they forgot to charge me.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Oh.
- 35:50Speaker 3: So I was just like, but maybe they because did
- 35:55Speaker 3: like they have your contact, yeah, because they know where
- 35:58Speaker 3: you were sitting, they have your email, they have everything.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I reckon.
- 36:01Speaker 2: They must have been like, we feel bad, you reckon.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Surely it was like they would have tried to reach out. Yeah,
- 36:06Speaker 2: A thousand bucks is a lot of money. Yeah, so
- 36:08Speaker 2: I reckon they would have tried to reach out.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I reckon. They must have gifted it to you.
- 36:11Speaker 2: A you reckon. Yeah, I don't think, because like you said,
- 36:15Speaker 2: am I good to go?
- 36:15Speaker 3: I said that I wanted to make sure I'd feel
- 36:17Speaker 3: bad Leaven with a thousand there maybe but not a
- 36:20Speaker 3: thousand dollars, and I was like, well sick, and so
- 36:24Speaker 3: for my birthday present, got one thousand dollars three lounge
- 36:27Speaker 3: at the lawn.
- 36:27Speaker 1: May I say you deserve it. You spend thousand bucks
- 36:30Speaker 1: and you're in a corner. Yeah, shit, first of all problems.
- 36:32Speaker 2: But that's tough.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, it's very very well I thought it was.
- 36:35Speaker 3: It was like, oh, it's my birthday people, I'll be
- 36:37Speaker 3: boogie like I haven't gone out in pretty much six months.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Like I was same as your best mentality, I'll go
- 36:42Speaker 3: hard money like fuck you get it all done in
- 36:44Speaker 3: one go, and then did it and good experience. I'd
- 36:48Speaker 3: probably say seven out of ten, but seven out of
- 36:50Speaker 3: ten could have been better.
- 36:51Speaker 1: But it was still very very fun. Yeah.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Jo just sent me your photo while you were there,
- 36:56Speaker 2: and it must have been it must have been a
- 36:58Speaker 2: little bit before temper trap came out and you were
- 37:00Speaker 2: sitting there and he was like, you sent your phone.
- 37:01Speaker 2: You were sitting on your phone and he was like, oh,
- 37:03Speaker 2: he's so angry right now.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they took so long, Like, don't fucking message me
- 37:08Speaker 3: on WhatsApp saying after sunset, because I was also pissed
- 37:10Speaker 3: off about that right now, because they wanted me to
- 37:13Speaker 3: come there. They wanted me to come there and spend
- 37:15Speaker 3: more money on their drinks. Yeah, don't tell me fucking
- 37:18Speaker 3: nine o'clock, Like, don't lie to me.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I was like, that's so FALSEO.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Misley still would have come. Yeah, it's like we just
- 37:23Speaker 3: need to know. We just we just want to be
- 37:24Speaker 3: there when they're coming out. Yeah, and we would have
- 37:26Speaker 3: planned a whole day differently and started like three hours later.
- 37:28Speaker 2: But who knows, Like maybe maybe they were just late.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Maybe they were like just late, like fucking people. I
- 37:34Speaker 2: think artists saw the time and be like booked for
- 37:36Speaker 2: I don't know, six pm, shop at six thirty.
- 37:38Speaker 3: But I always I've never understood that, like the artists
- 37:41Speaker 3: just like not. I just feel bad as a person,
- 37:43Speaker 3: Like even if I'm an artist, I'm getting there two
- 37:45Speaker 3: three hours early.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I am fully, fully agreed.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I like, like I'm not even on your time, mate,
- 37:51Speaker 3: I paid.
- 37:52Speaker 2: It's not even near anywhere near the same what in
- 37:55Speaker 2: the same world. But like, for instance, if we do
- 37:57Speaker 2: like a Brandy on Instagram. Yeah, I don't even like it, Like,
- 38:01Speaker 2: like if it doesn't get very many views, I'm just like, oh,
- 38:04Speaker 2: they paid money for that, Like I hope they're okay
- 38:05Speaker 2: with it, and like they they are okay with it,
- 38:07Speaker 2: like it's not the biggest deal to them, like they
- 38:09Speaker 2: just want it on our page. But I even feel bad,
- 38:11Speaker 2: like I want to, like I want it to get
- 38:13Speaker 2: views for them.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 38:14Speaker 3: But it's even it's like the fans got them to
- 38:17Speaker 3: where they are and then they're getting here late. It's
- 38:19Speaker 3: like even when we have meetings, we get there five
- 38:22Speaker 3: minutes early and we're sitting on the meeting Yeah, because
- 38:25Speaker 3: they're here to talk to us, Like we don't want
- 38:27Speaker 3: to waste their time. I don't want to waste it.
- 38:29Speaker 3: If we had a show, I wouldn't want it. If
- 38:30Speaker 3: we start six o'clock, I'm walking out on stage at
- 38:32Speaker 3: six pm. Well, to have the fucking clock, I'd be
- 38:35Speaker 3: waiting to walk out on stage at fucking five fifty five. Yeah, exactly,
- 38:39Speaker 3: stressed by the way, I'd be stress and I'd be
- 38:41Speaker 3: fucking so nervous.
- 38:43Speaker 1: But it's just a mental mentality.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Suppose you probably get to a point where like I've
- 38:46Speaker 3: got so much money, fuck it.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but not to say anything, not even to be
- 38:50Speaker 2: like we're fucking really good or whatever. But you know,
- 38:53Speaker 2: I think we even felt a bit boaut having a
- 38:54Speaker 2: two week break on Spotify, so we posted some old
- 38:56Speaker 2: Patroon episodes they probably hadn't listened to.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Yeah exactly, maybe we're just didn't well we've figured out
- 39:02Speaker 3: in the past. Episodes were just like, nice, guys, we
- 39:04Speaker 3: need to be a bit more cut threat in this world.
- 39:05Speaker 3: It's a dog eat dog world.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Funk all that.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Today, I just prefer to be nice, be nice, and
- 39:12Speaker 2: just yeah, hopefully all bad shit comes to bad people, even.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Though it never does. It's just good people. Good things
- 39:19Speaker 1: come of good people.
- 39:22Speaker 3: But anyways, guys, this episode was just a little brief
- 39:25Speaker 3: catch up what's been going on. If you enjoy it,
- 39:28Speaker 3: if you like this, next episode on Wednesday, it's gonna
- 39:32Speaker 3: be a banger bit more of the usual stuff, and
- 39:35Speaker 3: we love you, we'll see you then.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Thank you.
