- 0:19Hello, and welcome to episode 270 of the All Systems Go Sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:28I'm your host, Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:37Happy Friday. Our work week is coming to an
- 0:40end. The weekend is upon us.
- 0:42There's a lot going on in the sports betting market and of
- 0:45course we're excited to do what we always do talk data-driven,
- 0:48sharp contrarian bets, placing wages with our head and not our
- 0:52heart. So I do have for you guys today,
- 0:54finishing up the week strong, hopefully a three pack of plays.
- 0:58Most are all favorites and actually they're all favorites
- 1:01and little or you know some of these lines a little bit pricey.
- 1:04I was looking to squeeze out maybe an NBA bet.
- 1:06I was looking at this obviously big game here between the
- 1:09Rockets and the Warriors, but nothing really caught my eye.
- 1:11I did see that line move a little bit to the Warriors.
- 1:14That total did tick up a little bit and I was looking at
- 1:16Winnipeg, Saint Louis and hockey.
- 1:18I was actually kicking myself because yesterday I did notice a
- 1:21big move on the Avalanche in a big move on the Edmonton Oilers.
- 1:24The ABS went from like -180 to -195 and Edmonton went from like
- 1:29-135 to -165. Of course, I didn't play either
- 1:33in both 1, so sometimes that happens, but I didn't want to
- 1:36force anything today that didn't check off all of our boxes.
- 1:39So with that being said, a three pack of plays for you guys.
- 1:42I do want to mention, of course, we don't have pod podcasts on
- 1:46the weekend, but that's OK. If you're looking for some
- 1:48insights, some best bets, you can always read the sharp
- 1:51reports that I write. I'll tweet them out as I do
- 1:53every single day. Typically, you know, late
- 1:56morning, early afternoon. You can find that on my Twitter
- 1:59page at Josh under score insights and then as always, if
- 2:02you throw A5 $5.00 bill in the tip jar, you'll get those all
- 2:06systems go best bet picks on the Juice Reel app.
- 2:10So even on the weekend here, I'll have you covered with MLB
- 2:12for Saturday and Sunday again, game write ups and then official
- 2:15best bets on Juice Reel. Now, looking back toward
- 2:18yesterday, guys, I got to say it was a fantastic birthday.
- 2:21I had a great day. A lot of you guys reached out to
- 2:23me. I'm 38 years old, I can't
- 2:25believe it, old as dirt at this point.
- 2:27But either way, I had a lot of great, great, great comments and
- 2:30great birthday wishes. So I want to thank you all for
- 2:33reaching out. It really meant a lot to me.
- 2:35Unfortunately couldn't produce a winning day.
- 2:37Bit frustrating in the betting market. 1 and 2 -. 1.2 units we
- 2:42had did have a great hit with the Tigers.
- 2:44They're actually down 4 to 2 going kind of late deep into the
- 2:47game, but their bats absolutely exploded.
- 2:50Spencer, Spencer Torkelson, if you remember, he was a first
- 2:53round over first overall pick a few years ago, hit a home run.
- 2:56They end up winning that game. That was it, 3:50.
- 2:59And we got some great CLVI had had one of my buddies tweet me
- 3:05and say, oh, you know, getting steamed here on the Tigers.
- 3:07Well, yeah, they went from -130 all the way up to -150 after we
- 3:11had the pods. That was good to see.
- 3:12The one that was really frustrating though, the two
- 3:15losers were obviously the Red Sox and the the Philadelphia
- 3:20Phillies. But in particular that Red Sox
- 3:22game, as Peter Griffin would say, really grind my gears
- 3:25because the Red Sox were up to nothing going into the 7th
- 3:28inning. They give up a Homer to Dalton
- 3:30VAR show to make it 2 to one. Bottom of the eighth, Justin
- 3:33Slayton comes in for the Red Sox, wasting a great start from
- 3:36Tanner Houck gives up a three run home run to Vladimir Grero.
- 3:40Junior. Sox lose 4 to 2.
- 3:42So that was that was a bit of a frustrating game because you
- 3:44felt pretty good about that one winning 2.
- 3:45Nothing going deep into the 7th, but the Red Sox bowl plan sadly
- 3:49blew it for us. So either way, guys, we're going
- 3:51to see if we can get right back on the horse and produce a
- 3:54winning day today. As always, a three pack.
- 3:56Let's try to go 2 and 1 eke out a winning day as we steam into
- 4:00the weekend. So that being said, without
- 4:02further ado, we got a massive slate here in Major League
- 4:05Baseball. Let's start talking some
- 4:07data-driven sharp plays with a bunch of good system matches.
- 4:10So first one on the board for me.
- 4:12Let's look at a early evening first pitch, 6:10 PM Eastern
- 4:15Time between the Washington Nationals and the Cincinnati Red
- 4:19Legs. Now let's talk a line movement.
- 4:21Obviously the pitching match up and I'll give you my play for
- 4:23this one. So this is the opening game of a
- 4:26three-game series between the Nats and the Reds.
- 4:28We have the Nationals 14 and 18 drop two or three against the
- 4:31Phillies, but unfortunately they avoided the sweep, at least for
- 4:34us or guys like me who were on on the Phillies yesterday.
- 4:38They beat the Phills 4 to 2 cast as a + 150 row dog.
- 4:42Similarly, the Reds 17 and 15, they lost two of three against
- 4:45the Cardinals. Same thing though avoided the
- 4:47sweep by winning 9 to 1 and yesterday's series finale as a
- 4:50plus one O 5 home dog. So pitching match up here for
- 4:53tonight, we have the Nats going with the lefty Mitchell Parker.
- 4:57He's three and one of the 2.65 ERA.
- 4:59Meanwhile, the Reds are going to go with their ready ace Hunter
- 5:02Green. He's three and two of the 2.7 O
- 5:04ERA. So what do we see across the
- 5:06mark in this one? Well, nothing but steam toward
- 5:09Pete Rose and the Reds. As always, Pete Rose sat on
- 5:12attack. Pete Rose, if you, if I, what is
- 5:16it? IKYKY, If you know, you know.
- 5:19But anyway, we had this game open with Cincinnati around a -,
- 5:22165 -, 170 home favorite, the Nats around a + 145 row dog, and
- 5:27it's been nothing but movement toward the Reds.
- 5:30Reds have now been steamed up to -180 some shops even as high as
- 5:34-185 or -190. So pretty clear here that a lot
- 5:38of big money is pouring in on the Reds.
- 5:40Yes, this is a bit of an expensive price I was able to
- 5:42get since the -180 little bit earlier today.
- 5:46I believe -185 is now your best number.
- 5:48But as always, perfect example. We talked about it yesterday.
- 5:51This the importance of betting to risk, not betting to win.
- 5:54Like we talked about how if you had played the Philadelphia
- 5:57Phillies with me last night, they were like -180 -, 175
- 6:01somewhere around there. If you had bet to win, that mean
- 6:04you, that means you risked 1.8 units or 1.75 units on Philly,
- 6:09they lose the game. If you had bet to win, you lost
- 6:121.75 units or 1.8 units. This is the reason why we bet
- 6:16to, to risk not win, because we lost on Philly, which stinks,
- 6:20but we only lost one unit. That's why you always want to
- 6:23risk one unit. Just as we talked about on
- 6:25yesterday's pod. That's a perfect example of how
- 6:27betting to risk not win will save you a bunch of lost units
- 6:31if you are laying a minus number.
- 6:33But anyway, back to this match up here for today.
- 6:35Washington, Cincinnati, aside from the steam on the Reds, we
- 6:39have some pretty good bet splits as well.
- 6:40In Cincinnati at DraftKings, they're getting 82% of money
- 6:44line bets, 84% of money line dollars.
- 6:47Out at Circa in Vegas, the Reds are getting 71% of money line
- 6:51bets and a whopping 94% of money line dollars.
- 6:55So you know, I always like it when we have with both books,
- 6:58DraftKings and Circa showing a nice low bets higher dollar
- 7:00split tells me the bigger wagers here are in their favor as well
- 7:04as that line movement also going towards Cincinnati.
- 7:07Now let's get to some betting systems.
- 7:09I have a nine spot 9 betting systems lighting up here in
- 7:12Cincinnati. I'll give you some of the best
- 7:14ones. Home favorites this year like
- 7:16the Reds in this spot, two O 1 and one O 965 percent 7% ROI.
- 7:21Home favorites -150 or more, 96 and 4071 percent, 6% ROI.
- 7:27Home favorites with a winning record. 110 and 5268 percent, 9%
- 7:32ROI. Home favorites off a win with a
- 7:34winning record. So variation, some of these
- 7:36systems, combining them, that system is now 82 and 3371
- 7:41percent, 15% ROI when both teams are coming off a win, which is
- 7:45the case here. Take the favorite 24 and 11 this
- 7:49season, 69% with a 14% ROI. Cincinnati, by the way, has that
- 7:54classic non division favorite value.
- 7:56So the lack of familiarity benefiting quote UN quote the
- 7:59better team was expected to win. The Reds also have an edge at
- 8:02the plate. Hopefully their bats can get to
- 8:04Parker. The Reds are hitting 249.
- 8:06They've scored 163 runs. Nats are only hitting 238,
- 8:10scoring 135 runs. Now, Green, remember he was a
- 8:13top pick and was kind of like struggling a bit his first
- 8:16couple years, but last last year and this year he's really,
- 8:19really been great, kind of showing why he was such a highly
- 8:22touted prospect. But he has a 1.42 ERA at home
- 8:25this year and three start. So he's been good at that little
- 8:28bandbox, Great American ballpark.
- 8:30By the way, the Nats, they're only hitting 211 on the road
- 8:32this year. That's 28th in baseball, one of
- 8:35the worst in MLB. So we got big steam on Cincy
- 8:39even though it was kind of a big price, it only keeps getting
- 8:41bigger. On the one hand that's not good
- 8:43because you got to lay more juice, but on the other hand,
- 8:45that's kind of a good thing because it tells me even though
- 8:47that line's getting a bit more expensive, sharps continue to
- 8:49hit the red legs. Lastly, little a little cherry
- 8:53on top of this ice cream cone, we have a 13% sharp mush edge in
- 8:57favor of Cincinnati at Juice Reel.
- 8:59So all the betters who have downloaded Juice Reel and synced
- 9:02up their sports books, 13% majority of the winning betters
- 9:05are going Cincy as opposed to the profit division betters.
- 9:09As we like to say. You don't want to say losing
- 9:11betters because betting is hard. You don't want to rub it in.
- 9:14But the better betters here on the juicer lap are going Cincy
- 9:16and that's where I want to be. So I laid -180 with the Reds
- 9:20again, shop around. I believe -185 is your best
- 9:23price at this point. Another early matchup, let's go
- 9:26to Pittsburgh. San Diego Padres visiting the
- 9:28Pittsburgh Pirates, 6:40 PM Eastern Time, first pitch.
- 9:32Let's set the stage for this one.
- 9:33So this is the opening game of three-game set.
- 9:35We have the Padres coming in 19 and 11 on the year.
- 9:38Just swept A brief 2 game series against the G Men.
- 9:41They won yesterday's series finale or Wednesday's series
- 9:44finale. That's important.
- 9:45Going to get to that in a second.
- 9:47Five to three as a -, 145 home favorite.
- 9:50On the other hand, we got the Pirates.
- 9:51Buckos are only 12 and 20 on the year.
- 9:53They've dropped two or three against the Cubs in their last
- 9:55series. Lost yesterday's series finale 8
- 9:58to 3 as a -, 125 home favorite. So pitch match up for this one.
- 10:02We got the pods going with Dylan Cease, the righty.
- 10:05He's one and two with a 5.97 ERA this year.
- 10:08Meanwhile, the Pirates are going to go with the righty, Mitch
- 10:10Keller. He's one and two with a 3.97
- 10:13ERA. So what have you seen across the
- 10:15market? Well, just like we talked steam
- 10:17toward the Reds, we got steam toward the fathers in this one.
- 10:20Give me the dads like the Padres.
- 10:23Padres open this game around a -. 135 Rd. favorite.
- 10:26We've now seen the pods get steamed up to -155 you should
- 10:30still be able to get a -, 155, but I do see a couple books
- 10:34inching toward -160 So good steam no let up in favor of the
- 10:37dads Bet splits look good on the Padres.
- 10:40At DraftKings, 84% of money line bets, 87% of money line dollars
- 10:46are in their favor. Out in Vegas at Circa, pods are
- 10:49getting 87% of money line bets, 99% of money line dollars.
- 10:53So both books are showing that similar low bets, higher dollar,
- 10:56sharp split in favor of the pods.
- 10:59Now pods have 4 system matches for me, two best ones are
- 11:02favorites with line movement in their direction.
- 11:04That's 199 and one 1364 percent, 5% ROI this year.
- 11:09Favorites who made the playoffs the previous year, 150 and 8464
- 11:13percent, 4% ROI. But you remember, or if you
- 11:17notice this little subtlety I dropped at you, I said how the
- 11:21San Diego Padres won yesterday's series finale against the
- 11:24Giants. Then I corrected myself and
- 11:25said, no, it was Wednesday's series finale.
- 11:28So this provides a little bit of a schedule advantage for San
- 11:31Diego because the Padres have a rest advantage.
- 11:34They were off yesterday. Their last game was Wednesday,
- 11:37whereas the Pirates played the Cubbies yesterday.
- 11:40So in situations like this, when you have a rested favorite who's
- 11:43coming off a day off, those teams are 52 and 22 this year,
- 11:4770% with a 14% ROI. So basically, you know, it's a
- 11:51it's a chalk sport. That's why we talk a lot of
- 11:54favorites and not as many dogs. But also when you're a chalk
- 11:58favorite and you're rested, especially a grinding long, long
- 12:01season like baseball, that can be a big benefit.
- 12:04So these teams are winning basically 7 out of 10 times.
- 12:07Padres also have that correlative betting favorite low
- 12:09total. Told him this one is about 7 1/2
- 12:12or 8. So in that situation, we have a
- 12:15fair amount of expected run scored more likely to come from
- 12:18quote UN quote that better team. Hopefully we get a good start
- 12:21out of CC hasn't been great this year.
- 12:23Hopefully the bats of San Diego can get to Pittsburgh, but in
- 12:26particular San Diego big edge in the bullpen.
- 12:28If we got to sweat this one and it's, you know, tight or close
- 12:31late, hopefully the Padres bullpen can shut the door and
- 12:34hopefully the the Padres if they need it can get to the Buckos
- 12:37bullpen because San Diego has a team ERA in the bullpen of 1.77.
- 12:41That's the best pen and Major League Baseball Pittsburgh's pen
- 12:45is a four point O 9 ERA, so one of the worst.
- 12:48Lastly, we have a 11% sharp mush edge in favor of San Diego on
- 12:53the Juice Reel app. So we got a sharp mush edge, we
- 12:56got good steam, we got good bet splits, bunch of system matches
- 13:00as well as a good rest. First tired advantage.
- 13:03I'm going with the dads here. Let's go fathers.
- 13:05I got them at -155 last bite of the night.
- 13:09If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Let's go right back to LA and
- 13:13sweat the Tigers. 9:38 PM Eastern Time, first pitch, the
- 13:16Tigers visiting the Angels. Now we saw the Tigers, who are
- 13:20now 20 and 12, win the series opener for us last night. 3:50
- 13:25Again, bats got going late, which was nice.
- 13:27They took care of business as a -, 150 Rd. favorite.
- 13:30So rematch tonight. Tigers are going to go with the
- 13:32lefty ace Tarek School. He's three and two with a 2.34
- 13:37ERA and the Angels who are 12 and 18.
- 13:39Remember, they started well and I've really struggled.
- 13:41They're going to go with the ready.
- 13:42Jose Soriano 2 and 44.5 OERA. What do we see across the
- 13:47market? Will we talk Steam on the red,
- 13:50steam on the the dads, steam on the Tigers here.
- 13:54Tigers open this game as low as a -, 165 home favorite.
- 13:58We've now seen the Tigers get steamed up to -185 some shops
- 14:02even -190 so we're seeing continued movement.
- 14:05No let up. I always like it when there's
- 14:07consistent movement with no buyback.
- 14:08Tells me that even though the line might be getting worse or
- 14:11more expensive, whichever way you want to look at it, it's
- 14:14still moving because bets are still coming in respected wagers
- 14:17pushing that number. So aside from the big line
- 14:20movement on Detroit, we have good bet splits on the Tigers.
- 14:24They are getting 86% of money line bets, 99% of money line
- 14:28dollars out at Circa. So tells me we got a big wave of
- 14:32wise guy money out in Vegas at a book that again welcomes smart
- 14:36money and doesn't reject it. So good low bets higher dollars
- 14:39there. Bunch of system matches I have 4
- 14:41lit up on on Detroit. Here we have favorites with line
- 14:45movement in their direction. 64 percent, 5% ROI this year.
- 14:49Non division favorites with steam $0.10 or more, 63% this
- 14:53season, 4% ROI. Favorites who made the playoffs
- 14:56the previous season, 150 and 8464 percent, 4% ROI.
- 15:01We have some correlative betting value as well.
- 15:03This is a very low total of 7 1/2 and it's just to the under.
- 15:06So let's just say, you know, 4 to 4, nothing 3 three to one
- 15:09game. I don't doesn't matter to me.
- 15:12I would lean under here just cuz it's such a juiced up under.
- 15:16But that is a good correlative spot for the Tigers, especially
- 15:19when you see the line getting juiced toward the under or
- 15:21moving toward the under and the line also moving toward the
- 15:24favorite. So it's usually a good
- 15:25correlative betting sign in favor of the favorite winning a
- 15:28low scoring game. Now it's going to be nice and
- 15:31exciting to sweat Scooble. Obviously he won the Cy Young
- 15:34last year. I was actually thinking about
- 15:35should I place a bet on Scooble? Cy Young?
- 15:37Right now, he's plus 230. He's just a little bit more of a
- 15:41favorite than Garrett Crochet, who's been good with the Red Sox
- 15:44as well. I think Crochet is like plus
- 15:46270. I ended up not playing it, but
- 15:48it kind of intrigued me. Detroit, aside from Scooble on
- 15:52the bump, does have an advantage with the bats.
- 15:54They're hitting 248. They scored 155 runs, LA is only
- 15:58hitting 215 and they've only scored 110 runs.
- 16:01Tigers have the better pen ERA of 2.69 that's 4th best in
- 16:05baseball. And the angels we saw it last
- 16:07night. Their pen gave it up a ton late
- 16:09in that game. 5.99 ERA out of the bullpen, second worst in
- 16:13baseball. Lastly, the Angels going up
- 16:16against lefties only hitting two O 4.
- 16:18That's 27th in baseball, one of the worst.
- 16:21So it's a big price, but it's checking off all the boxes.
- 16:24We got Good bet splits, sharp steam, tons of system matches
- 16:28here. I'm going to sweat Tarek Scubble
- 16:30in in the Tigers here. I got the tigers -185 You might
- 16:34still be able to get a -, 185 at Bet MGM.
- 16:36But again, grab it as soon as you can because this thing is
- 16:40maybe inching even closer to -200 So Reds, Padres, Tigers,
- 16:45Bettris not bet to win. Let's try to go 2 in one eek out
- 16:48a winning day. That is always the goal.
- 16:51So with that being said, episode 270 of the ASG pod now in the
- 16:55books, as always, this the part of the pod where we wrap things
- 16:58up. And I start first by saying
- 17:00thank you. Thank you for taking the time
- 17:02out of your day, out of your busy lives to pull up a chair to
- 17:05the virtual bar and sweat some sharp data-driven breakdowns
- 17:07with me. Means a ton to me to be able to
- 17:10be able to host the pod, but really kind of create the
- 17:13gambling community and have you guys like DM me, tweet me, talk
- 17:16about games or, you know, questions about system matches.
- 17:19I can, I can tell that you know, we're kind of kind of spreading
- 17:22the gospel here when it comes to data-driven betting, making bets
- 17:25with your head and not our heart.
- 17:26So I'm very proud of that. But if you do enjoy the pod, if
- 17:30you're listening to my voice, if you value the insights, win,
- 17:33lose or draw, you're interested in kind of what I'm telling you.
- 17:36And again, this is not opinion, it's all based on data.
- 17:39Then could you do me a solid, could you give this podcast a
- 17:42five star review on Spotify or iTunes?
- 17:45Would go a long way to helping us to continue to grow the pod.
- 17:48If there's a rate in review and you want to leave a nice comment
- 17:51in the review section, that also be very much appreciated.
- 17:54If you want to recommend the pod to a friend, word of mouth is
- 17:57always great. And if there's an option, a
- 17:59button that says follow, click that follow button.
- 18:02That way you'll get alerted as soon as it drops.
- 18:04Each day you'll get a little little pop up notification on
- 18:06your phone. Hopefully you can get right in
- 18:09there and maybe get a good number before it moves too much.
- 18:12Next, if you enjoy this style of betting breakdown, data-driven
- 18:16sharp contrarian betting, placing bets with our head and
- 18:18not our heart or making those bets with our head by really
- 18:22focusing on what the betting market is telling us.
- 18:24Interpreting the line movement, the bet splits the system
- 18:27matches. Taking a contrarian approach.
- 18:30This style of betting has appealed to you, you've it's
- 18:33piqued your interest. You want to learn more about
- 18:34data-driven betting or you have someone in your life who could
- 18:37use a little tip or two in terms of bankroll management or
- 18:40reading line movement, or taking a contrarian approach, then you
- 18:44know what I would highly recommend?
- 18:45I'd highly recommend going to Amazon.com and typing in the
- 18:49Everything Guide to Sports Betting.
- 18:51That's my first baby, first book I ever wrote.
- 18:53It's got everything I've learned in the industry.
- 18:55How lines are set, how and why they move, how to read line
- 18:58movement, how to locate sharp action, how to place a bet in
- 19:00person or online, how to shop for the best line, how to set up
- 19:03a bankroll management plan, chapters on all the major
- 19:06sports. It's all in there.
- 19:08The everything guide to sports betting.
- 19:10Next, while you're at it, you should then check out on
- 19:13Amazon.com, my second book that comes out this fall.
- 19:17It's called the NFL sharp betting playbook.
- 19:19And actually I had my my copy editor reach out to me today
- 19:23about the the jacket, the sleeve.
- 19:26So I had to pick out a, a photo of me.
- 19:28I had to kind of write a a quick breakdown in synopsis little
- 19:32bio. So it's it's getting real.
- 19:34It's it's coming here, guys, I'm very excited about it.
- 19:36But if you want to make my publisher triumph books very
- 19:40happy and you want to make me happy, let me know you
- 19:42appreciate the pod and help help support the team.
- 19:45Then if you wanted to pre-order a copy of the NFL sharp betting
- 19:49playbook, that would really make my day.
- 19:51But if you want to pick up the everything guide to sports
- 19:53betting or the NFL sharp betting playbook, you're going to grab
- 19:56them on Amazon. You're going to bring them to
- 19:57the sports book. I'll sign them for you.
- 19:59I'll buy you a beer. Or ginger ale.
- 20:01We'll get some nachos together and we'll sweat some games.
- 20:03How's that sound? Sounds pretty good to me on a
- 20:05Friday night. Next, if you haven't downloaded
- 20:09Rhythm or Juice Reel yet, what are you doing?
- 20:11Go to the App Store, download Rhythm.
- 20:14Fantastic for their AI backed models and predictions for game
- 20:17bets and player props. I was actually texting my buddy
- 20:19James Santor. He was telling me that they're
- 20:21working on even more updates and improvements to Rhythm.
- 20:24So can't wait to see what James and the team has in store.
- 20:28But then also Juice Reel where you can again put a $5.00 bill
- 20:33in the tip jar, $4.99 a week. You can sign up to get those all
- 20:36systems go best bet picks. Of course you sync up your
- 20:39sports books to Juice Reel. I have all my books synced up.
- 20:43When I place a bet, which is a podcast play, it goes right to
- 20:45Juice Reel. If you follow for $4.99 a week,
- 20:49boom, you'll you'll get those plays as soon as I bet them,
- 20:52they'll go right to the profile page and you can tail, you can
- 20:55fade, you can do whatever you want.
- 20:57But if you want to support the team, that's really a great way
- 21:00to to make me happy by signing up for those best bet picks and
- 21:03make the juice real team happy. But it's not just the all
- 21:06systems go best bets. You can also get the robo
- 21:08Jackson best bet picks, the sharp motion indicators, the
- 21:11arbitrage plays. Shop for the best line futures.
- 21:13That's how I quickly saw the prices of crochet and and school
- 21:18tells you which book is offering the best price.
- 21:20And then, of course, again, sync up your books and get a running
- 21:23report card of your action to keep you honest and figure out,
- 21:26you know, what sports you're better at, what sports you're
- 21:28worse at. It's really incredibly important
- 21:31to know your strengths and weaknesses.
- 21:33You can lean on your strengths and kind of, you know, limit or
- 21:35tweak your work on your, your, your weaknesses, but that's all
- 21:39available to you in the Juice Reel app.
- 21:41So download rhythm, download Juice Reel, give him a five star
- 21:44view in the App Store. Next, if you're betting on
- 21:48sports, you got to have a live odds page.
- 21:50I say it all the time, but I say it all the time not to annoy
- 21:52you, but because it's true. And we have so many new people,
- 21:55you know, betting sports for the first time.
- 21:57We're nearly at 40 legalized states.
- 21:59People want to bet and they just think, hey, like, you know, let
- 22:02me let me, you know, Google or go to ESPN.com, look at the
- 22:05game, figure out what I want to bet, go bet it at my one book.
- 22:09Again, I can't blame people that do that because they just don't
- 22:12know the intricacies of sports betting.
- 22:14But that's not the way you want to do it.
- 22:16You want to have a live odds page that gives you every game
- 22:18on the board that day from all the major sports you first got
- 22:21to know, OK, I want to bet today, what are my options?
- 22:24You got to know all the games listed there, the start times.
- 22:27Then of course you got to know all the lines.
- 22:29What are the line open at? How did it move?
- 22:32What are the current prices? How can I shop for the best
- 22:34number? Again, saving $0.05 of juice on
- 22:37a baseball bat may not seem like a big deal, but if we're going
- 22:40to make hundreds of baseball bats this year, that $0.05 you
- 22:43can save really stacks up. You don't need me to tell you
- 22:46how important it is getting an extra half point on a total or a
- 22:48spread, but there are a lot of live odds pages out there.
- 22:51But I got to tell you the best one is odds logic.
- 22:54I've partnered with odds logic because I really believe in
- 22:57them. I tested them out myself before
- 22:59I even talked to them and I really enjoyed it because it's a
- 23:03clean, crisp interface. It updates in real time.
- 23:06The numbers light up as soon as they change.
- 23:08But what I really like is that they give you the most amount of
- 23:11sports books to to put on your page.
- 23:13And you have big ones, market setting ones like Pinnacle and
- 23:16and Circa, as well as obviously your Fanduel's, DraftKings bet,
- 23:19MGM, Caesars, ESPN bet, all those as well.
- 23:23You can also pull up the line history, excuse me, so you can
- 23:27see all the nuances and the moves in between.
- 23:30And if you want to give it a shot, whether you don't have a
- 23:32live odds page or you have 1:00 and it's free, but it's delayed
- 23:36and you don't have any good books on it and it's coming from
- 23:38who knows where. Red flag with a live odds page
- 23:41is always if they give you a bet split or a number, where the
- 23:44heck is that coming from? Is it an illegal offshore book?
- 23:47Is it a combination of books? You need to know?
- 23:49It's very important. So if you don't have a live odds
- 23:52page or you have one and it's expensive, or you have one it's
- 23:55free and you want to increase your, you know, your, your,
- 23:58your, I don't know your, your stack game, your data game, the
- 24:01note. You know what you should do.
- 24:03You should give Odds Logic a shot.
- 24:04Go to thislinkoddslogic.com/josh 123.
- 24:10That's Odds logic.com/josh 123. Make sure you have the slash
- 24:14Josh 123 at the end, because if you click that specific link,
- 24:18you'll get a 7 day free trial and 50% off your first month.
- 24:21It's usually 99 bucks a month. I know it's you know, it's not
- 24:24nothing, but a lot of live odds pages are like, you know, 305
- 24:28hundred 600 bucks a month. So it's a it's a great value
- 24:31play in my opinion, But that about does it for today's pod
- 24:35episode 270, my first podcast as a 38 year old man, time flies.
- 24:40I was I was joking with my buddies.
- 24:42I feel like it was yesterday. We were 17 years old playing
- 24:45baseball together at Mount Greylock High School, you know,
- 24:48going to parties on the weekend, talking about where we're going
- 24:51to go to college. And here I am, you know,
- 24:53literally like 20 years later, you know what?
- 24:56My neighbor, actually, I have a fantastic neighbor.
- 24:58I love him. His name is Bob.
- 25:00He's like 85 years old, but he's just a great dude.
- 25:03And he, he said happy birthday, Josh.
- 25:06And he was like, you know what someone told me that really
- 25:08stuck with me. He said the days and the weeks
- 25:12feel like they take forever, but the months and the years fly by
- 25:16and I was like, ain't that the truth, my friend?
- 25:19So hey, what? Lucky to lucky to work in an
- 25:22industry I love and lucky and thankful for you guys for tuning
- 25:26into the pod as always. But with that being said, wrap
- 25:29it up with our final two points of emphasis.
- 25:33One, whether I see you at the Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin
- 25:36River in Rhode Island, the Brooklyn, New Hampshire,
- 25:38Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, down in Connecticut, at the Encore in
- 25:41Boston or Plain Ridge Park Casino R.E.M.
- 25:43GM Springfield or the Nash in my neck of the woods around
- 25:46Nashville, New Hampshire. Or, of course, out in the desert
- 25:48where the true grinders get down.
- 25:50Where Billy Walter sends his number runners.
- 25:52Where the lowest juice possible is found at the South Point.
- 25:54Sweat and sharp contrarian plays.
- 25:56Jumping in the stadium swimming pool.
- 25:58When you catch a big ticket at Circa, wherever it may be,
- 26:00you're going to walk up to me. Show me a nice Tigers ticket
- 26:03from last night. Whatever you do, don't show me a
- 26:06Red Sox ticket. Blowing another lead.
- 26:08You're killing my wind total, man.
- 26:09Come on, Red Sox. But anyway, guys, first one's on
- 26:12me, next one's on you will post about the book.
- 26:14Such sharp contrarian plays all night long as always, guys 1 and
- 26:182, two and one, O and three, three and O previous night
- 26:21should never, you know, talk us into a bet or talk us out of a
- 26:24bet. We just got to continue to grind
- 26:26whether we had a great night, awful night, somewhere in the
- 26:29middle. We just got to stick to the
- 26:31blueprint, stick to the model. Bet games that check off our
- 26:33boxes, bet games with our head and not our heart.
- 26:36And you guys know by now, or maybe you don't.
- 26:38Maybe you're new to the pod. That's OK too.
- 26:40But the blueprint, which never changes, we got to stick with
- 26:43and keep grinding it because it's all about the long term
- 26:45forest amongst the trees. Marathon, not the Sprint.
- 26:48But we can find games that fit our model against the public
- 26:51with the house, with the pros flat bet, avoid parlays, get
- 26:54that CLV. If we can do that, we're going
- 26:57to be successful sports betters. So have a great Friday
- 27:00everybody, have an even better weekend.
- 27:03If you need any insights or tips or got any questions over this
- 27:07weekend, you can always shoot me a direct message on Twitter at
- 27:10Josh under score insights. But remember I will have my
- 27:13sharp report Saturday and Sunday probably around 10:00 AM and you
- 27:16can get those best bet picks for the weekend.
- 27:18If I had any other place from the Juice Real app.
- 27:21But good luck everybody. I will see you back on Monday.
- 27:24That'll be episode 271 of the All systems Go sports betting
- 27:28podcast powered by Rhythm. Good luck everybody and have a
- 27:31great weekend.
