- 0:01Speaker 1: Now seor presents.
- 0:04Speaker 2: No marks, some moon show. Well, hey, we got a
- 0:09Speaker 2: lot to get to. We'll get to the war crimes hoax.
- 0:11Speaker 2: We'll get to Mom Donnie, some interesting developments there. We'll
- 0:16Speaker 2: get to the Russia Ukraine meetings. We'll get to the
- 0:19Speaker 2: Cabinet meeting. We'll get to Oh, yesterday's election, of course,
- 0:23Speaker 2: a couple of the interesting elections. What does it mean
- 0:26Speaker 2: for the mid terms. We'll get to Christmas. Today's one
- 0:29Speaker 2: of those gridlock alert days. This is a regular thing
- 0:33Speaker 2: now we keep hearing the other day was a gridlock
- 0:35Speaker 2: alert day. Today's a gridlock alert day. I thought congestion
- 0:40Speaker 2: pricing was supposed to fix all of that. Apparently it
- 0:43Speaker 2: doesn't do much. We still have gridlock alert days. Christmas
- 0:46Speaker 2: tree lighting is tonight Rockefeller Center. That's where you'll see
- 0:50Speaker 2: some gridlock. That is an absolute snarled up mess around
- 0:54Speaker 2: that tree lighting. So that's tonight at Rockefeller Center. So
- 0:58Speaker 2: just avoid that area completely if you're driving, even if
- 1:01Speaker 2: you're walking, it's tough to walk around there. The sidewalks
- 1:04Speaker 2: is so packed. So has get to the elections. A
- 1:08Speaker 2: special election in Tennessee. This was an interesting election. Nashville
- 1:12Speaker 2: is the district is pretty much covering Nashville, Tennessee. You
- 1:16Speaker 2: know what, they call it, music City, the country music
- 1:18Speaker 2: capital of the world. So they had a Mom Donnie running.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It's a woman, but as we've been telling you, there's
- 1:24Speaker 2: about twenty six other Mom Donni's ready to be launched
- 1:27Speaker 2: by Democrats. And she was just like Mom Donnie on paper,
- 1:31Speaker 2: a total disaster, horrible past, horrible things she said in
- 1:35Speaker 2: her past, I mean, crazy socialist nonsense on paper, no
- 1:40Speaker 2: chance to win anything. But like Mom Donnie in person
- 1:45Speaker 2: and online and social media and on camera, charming, got
- 1:50Speaker 2: a nice smile, got a nice personality, lots of energy, young, energetic, charming,
- 1:56Speaker 2: just like a Mom Donnie. And she did very, very well.
- 2:00Speaker 2: She made it a real race. It was supposed to
- 2:02Speaker 2: be no contest at all, but she made it very close.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Republicans panicked and came in with millions of dollars trying
- 2:10Speaker 2: to save that race. And then the Republican Matt Van
- 2:13Speaker 2: Epps one easily. It turns out by nine points. But
- 2:20Speaker 2: you're going to hear the fake news try to make
- 2:23Speaker 2: it sound like it's a real nightmare. For it's a
- 2:25Speaker 2: warning sign for Republicans. Why Trump won that district by
- 2:29Speaker 2: twenty two points. That's a tremendous loss of points for
- 2:33Speaker 2: the not Really that's Trump and this Republican candidate, Matt
- 2:38Speaker 2: Van Epps, he's good, but he's a boring, drab sort
- 2:41Speaker 2: of a guy. How's he going to get the numbers
- 2:42Speaker 2: Trump gets and no local candidate's gonna get Trump numbers.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Trump gets Trump numbers. So Van Epps did just fine.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But again, you're gonna have a lot more of these candidates.
- 2:55Speaker 2: And it's a strange phenomenon, but these mom types. This
- 3:00Speaker 2: woman in the color the AOC of Tennessee, she's running
- 3:08Speaker 2: for Congress in the district that is Nashville, Tennessee. She
- 3:11Speaker 2: comes right out and says, I hate Nashville. She even
- 3:14Speaker 2: said I hate country music. She hates Nashville. She hates
- 3:17Speaker 2: country music. That's their main industry, country music. That's why
- 3:20Speaker 2: they call it music. City tourism is the number one industry.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But it doesn't matter to Democratic voters. You see the
- 3:27Speaker 2: same thing here with Mamdanni hates capitalism. That's our main
- 3:31Speaker 2: industry in New York, Wall Street, financial world, hedge funds,
- 3:35Speaker 2: that's the main industry of New York. Years ago, it
- 3:39Speaker 2: was other stuff. It was like the garment center, but
- 3:41Speaker 2: that's all gone. So now the main industry of New
- 3:43Speaker 2: York is the financial business. And Mamdannie runs saying he
- 3:47Speaker 2: hates them, he can't stand them. So you're going to
- 3:49Speaker 2: see a lot of this. Now you're going to see
- 3:50Speaker 2: somebody run for mayor of Detroit. He says, I hate cars.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You're going to see this all the time. These Democratic
- 3:57Speaker 2: voters don't care. Show them how bad the candidate is.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Look what they said in the past. Look at this,
- 4:03Speaker 2: Look how they never worked, they never had it. The
- 4:05Speaker 2: Democratic voters don't care. Doesn't matter long as the person
- 4:09Speaker 2: yells the word affordability all the time. That's all you
- 4:12Speaker 2: gotta do.
- 4:12Speaker 3: It.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Just keep saying affordability, affordability, affordability. Now, there's nobody on
- 4:16Speaker 2: earth less qualified to do something about affordability than Zoraon
- 4:20Speaker 2: Mamdannie or this woman in Tennessee. What's their name is
- 4:27Speaker 2: it Afton Baine. That's another name nobody can pronounce, like
- 4:30Speaker 2: Mam Donnie. So they all got weird names, no resume.
- 4:34Speaker 2: They've said crazy kookie things in the past, but they
- 4:37Speaker 2: look good, they sound good, and they keep saying affordability.
- 4:40Speaker 2: So Democrats vote for them. You got two things going on.
- 4:44Speaker 2: They're voting on just knee jerk emotional voting, affordability I'll
- 4:49Speaker 2: vote for or they just hate Trump so much they'll
- 4:52Speaker 2: vote for anybody who they think hates Trump. And if
- 4:55Speaker 2: you get one of these socialists, one of these affordability
- 4:58Speaker 2: young no resume, they must really hate Trump, I'll vote
- 5:03Speaker 2: for them. So Democrats going crazy to vote for this stuff.
- 5:07Speaker 2: What does it mean for the midterms. Well, it's going
- 5:10Speaker 2: to be a factor in the midterms. If these kind
- 5:12Speaker 2: of voters are going to turn out in droves to
- 5:15Speaker 2: vote for anybody they think hates Trump, that's a problem
- 5:18Speaker 2: for Republicans in the midterms. Now, the good news is
- 5:21Speaker 2: it's a year away. You got plenty of time. There's
- 5:25Speaker 2: a couple of groups that do the research for the
- 5:27Speaker 2: Democratic Party and then it's distributed to everybody and they
- 5:31Speaker 2: all jump on it. One of them came up with
- 5:34Speaker 2: the word affordability a while back, and that's why, all
- 5:37Speaker 2: of a sudden, in every race they're all using the
- 5:39Speaker 2: word affordability. This is very, very coordinated. There's a couple
- 5:43Speaker 2: of these groups, big monstrous organizations that do incredible intense
- 5:48Speaker 2: research focus groups studying that they come up with the stuff,
- 5:52Speaker 2: and then there's other groups K Street that distribute it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: They have these morning conference calls and they have these
- 5:59Speaker 2: things that go on to every Democrat telling him what words,
- 6:02Speaker 2: what phrases, what sentences to say. So one of them
- 6:05Speaker 2: is a navigator. Navigator does incredible research done. Then the
- 6:08Speaker 2: other thing they've come up with a navigator is not
- 6:12Speaker 2: only is affordability working, it's growing. The momentum behind this
- 6:15Speaker 2: affordability affordability they are finding in their studying studying people
- 6:22Speaker 2: the ballroom is a good issue to use on this people.
- 6:26Speaker 2: When when you talk to these people, well, what do
- 6:29Speaker 2: you mean affordability voters? They're terrified of the prices going
- 6:34Speaker 2: up and they can't afford groceries, or they can't afford
- 6:36Speaker 2: their medicine, and really terrified that they won't be able
- 6:39Speaker 2: to afford their healthcare, that they'll lose their healthcare, this
- 6:42Speaker 2: kind of stuff. So they're finding in this latest round
- 6:46Speaker 2: of studying, you can use the ballroom on that that
- 6:50Speaker 2: while you're terrified of being able to buy groceries and
- 6:53Speaker 2: pay your health care, he's building a ballroom and look
- 6:55Speaker 2: at all the gold He's putting up all over the walls,
- 6:57Speaker 2: and this vers sie like ballroom. This is the last
- 7:01Speaker 2: thing in the world you want to see when it's
- 7:02Speaker 2: an affordability crisis. So expect to see a lot of
- 7:06Speaker 2: ballroom stuff coming in the next few weeks, maybe the
- 7:10Speaker 2: next few months. They're going to start using the ballroom
- 7:14Speaker 2: as a major issue. You know, Trump is like some
- 7:17Speaker 2: sort of emperor, some sort of king in a palace
- 7:20Speaker 2: while you can't afford your groceries. The ballroom it's symbolic,
- 7:24Speaker 2: it's not real. I mean, first of all, the ballroom
- 7:26Speaker 2: isn't costing taxpayers anything. It's privately funded, and it's something
- 7:30Speaker 2: they actually do need. They've talked about it for years.
- 7:32Speaker 2: But they're going to start using it against Trump. Here's
- 7:37Speaker 2: the first round, New York Times doing a story about
- 7:40Speaker 2: the ballroom. Every story about the ballroom is negative. Of course,
- 7:44Speaker 2: it's too big. It's to this, it's to that. It
- 7:46Speaker 2: screws up the White House grounds. It's me. He said
- 7:49Speaker 2: he wouldn't tear down anything of the building. Well I
- 7:54Speaker 2: guess he did. But you know it's fine. There was
- 7:56Speaker 2: nothing in what the party tore down had nothing in it.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Lady's office, you can easily move her to somewhere else.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And the main thing in there was the calligraphy office.
- 8:05Speaker 2: They do the the you know, the little place cards
- 8:07Speaker 2: for dinner and sometimes the invitations. It's not vital government work.
- 8:12Speaker 2: But now this New York Times expos is pretty frightening.
- 8:17Speaker 2: It's pretty frightening. It goes on and on about the
- 8:20Speaker 2: terrible problems now with this ballroom. According to this New
- 8:24Speaker 2: York Times article, there have been disagreements between Trump and
- 8:28Speaker 2: the contractor and Trump and the architect. Now, if you're
- 8:33Speaker 2: one of these crazy old ladies who watches MSNBC and
- 8:36Speaker 2: reads The New York Times and hates Trump, and you
- 8:38Speaker 2: run around yelling about this is perfect, We'll talk about
- 8:42Speaker 2: this all this, he's not getting along, even the architect
- 8:44Speaker 2: has arguing with him, even the contractors are. Of course,
- 8:49Speaker 2: you can't ever explain to him reality that this is
- 8:52Speaker 2: perfectly normal. Everybody, when you're doing remodeling, when you're remodeling
- 8:57Speaker 2: your bathroom, your kitchen, building a house, this is perfectly normal.
- 9:01Speaker 2: About eleven times in the process you fight with the
- 9:04Speaker 2: contractor about something, you disagree with the architect about something,
- 9:08Speaker 2: it's perfectly normal. And then it goes on to say
- 9:12Speaker 2: that Trump has. The reason they're going so crazy is
- 9:14Speaker 2: Trump's behavior has been unbelieved. It was supposed to be
- 9:17Speaker 2: a five hundred seat ballroom, then it grew to six
- 9:20Speaker 2: hundred and fifty seats. Next he wanted a nine hundred
- 9:22Speaker 2: and ninety nine seat ballroom. Now he's talking about room
- 9:24Speaker 2: for thirteen hundred. That way they could host the inaugural. Yeah,
- 9:28Speaker 2: it's a pretty good idea. I like that. So they
- 9:32Speaker 2: go on and on the size of the prods, raising alarms.
- 9:36Speaker 2: People working on the ballroom have been told they don't
- 9:39Speaker 2: need to follow permitting, zoning, or code requirements. Why this
- 9:42Speaker 2: is outrageous, Trump pointing out since it's on the White
- 9:45Speaker 2: House grounds, it's not subject to local Washington DC permit requirement. Well,
- 9:50Speaker 2: he's probably right, that makes perfect sense. So this goes
- 9:55Speaker 2: on in a but they never explained in the article.
- 9:58Speaker 2: This is not like Baraco bomb. I'm trying to tell
- 10:01Speaker 2: these guys what to do. This is one of the
- 10:03Speaker 2: greatest builders in the history of the world, and out
- 10:06Speaker 2: of all the great builders in America right now, nobody
- 10:09Speaker 2: has more experience building ballrooms than this guy. In fact,
- 10:14Speaker 2: the architect, who they think is some god you should
- 10:16Speaker 2: bow down to. Apparently he's never built a ballroom in
- 10:18Speaker 2: his life. He's done cathedrals and he's done with work
- 10:24Speaker 2: in Washington, but he's never actually done it. But Trump
- 10:26Speaker 2: is the world expert on building ballrooms. So they don't
- 10:31Speaker 2: point this out in this article. I would have total
- 10:33Speaker 2: confidence in what he's doing here. But you're gonna hear
- 10:36Speaker 2: a lot more about the ballroom. They're gonna make this
- 10:38Speaker 2: a big thing now. They're going to continue with the
- 10:40Speaker 2: war crimes hoax for a while, hoping that works. If
- 10:44Speaker 2: that doesn't work, they'll go to the ballroom. Here's Trump
- 10:47Speaker 2: on the ballroom.
- 10:47Speaker 1: We're building one of the great I think maybe the
- 10:50Speaker 1: greatest ballroom. We needed it for one hundred and fifty years.
- 10:53Speaker 2: They've been asking.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You see that the trucks and cranes and excavators in
- 10:57Speaker 1: the background, and you hear them. And every time I
- 11:00Speaker 1: hear them.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I love to show he said that once. I heard
- 11:04Speaker 2: him say that once. You know when when when you're
- 11:07Speaker 2: a home and they're doing construction next door, you're in
- 11:09Speaker 2: your apartment, they're doing construction. Oh god, that noise, Oh
- 11:13Speaker 2: my god, when's this gonna you just hate that noise?
- 11:16Speaker 2: He loves that sound. Construction. It's music to him. It's
- 11:21Speaker 2: the thing he loves most in life, construction. So he
- 11:24Speaker 2: enjoys hearing the noise outside of the Oval office. But
- 11:26Speaker 2: so they may use the ballroom. Once the war crimes
- 11:30Speaker 2: hoax will die out. The war crimes hoax, they think
- 11:34Speaker 2: they got them here. These are war crimes.
- 11:37Speaker 3: You know.
- 11:37Speaker 2: First of a if you're gonna you decided you're gonna
- 11:40Speaker 2: blow up that boat with drugs on it and drug
- 11:43Speaker 2: cartel members. It's a boat filled with drug cartel and drugs.
- 11:47Speaker 2: You've decided you will blow it up. You will kill
- 11:50Speaker 2: them all and blow it up. So you fire a bomb.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I guess they fire a few bombs and if there's
- 11:55Speaker 2: anything left, you fire another bomber. Well, that sounds perfectly
- 11:58Speaker 2: normal to me. I'm not a military, but I'm not
- 12:01Speaker 2: an expert. But if you talk to the top generals
- 12:04Speaker 2: of the world, the jack Keanes sort of guys, they'll
- 12:06Speaker 2: tell you it's perfectly normal. You hit it with bombs
- 12:10Speaker 2: and you keep hitting it until you're absolutely certain everything
- 12:13Speaker 2: is gone. Like when they went to take out the
- 12:16Speaker 2: Iran nuclear reactors. You don't drop one bomb and that's it.
- 12:20Speaker 2: You keep remember you remember the videos, they just get
- 12:23Speaker 2: bombinan and bombinan and bombited until they were absolutely sure
- 12:26Speaker 2: they got everything. That's the way you do it. So
- 12:28Speaker 2: there's no war crime here. You're going to see all
- 12:32Speaker 2: these fake Newsy it's these Martha raddits as if she
- 12:35Speaker 2: knows what she's talking about. If violates the geneva and
- 12:39Speaker 2: as an enemy combatant and you're not allowed to kill
- 12:42Speaker 2: an enemy combatant. When did this rule happen?
- 12:46Speaker 4: Now?
- 12:46Speaker 2: You remember during the Obama administration, he was doing it
- 12:49Speaker 2: as drone strikes. There were drone strikes all the time
- 12:52Speaker 2: in Afghanistan, in Iraq, and very often he killed civilians.
- 12:58Speaker 2: We know this. He killed a lot of civil millions
- 13:00Speaker 2: accidentally with the drone strikes and sometimes on purpose because
- 13:03Speaker 2: they were near what they target was, so they took
- 13:07Speaker 2: him out. And you remember the one time he hit
- 13:10Speaker 2: a wedding with one of the drones, blew up a wedding,
- 13:13Speaker 2: killed a lot of people. But of the millions of
- 13:15Speaker 2: times that killed civilians, and of course the same fake
- 13:18Speaker 2: news didn't care I mention a word about it. There's
- 13:21Speaker 2: even a hearing. Actually, if you go to my Twitter
- 13:23Speaker 2: you can see the video there's a great hearing. This
- 13:25Speaker 2: is from the Biden administration where the drone strike killed
- 13:29Speaker 2: a bunch of civilians, innocent civilians, and Mark Kelly seditious.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Mark Kelly is interviewing the general about it and he explains, yes,
- 13:37Speaker 2: we did kill the civilians. And Mark Kelly said, okay,
- 13:42Speaker 2: my next question is and that just moves right on.
- 13:43Speaker 2: He couldn't care less let it go, turned the other way.
- 13:46Speaker 2: But that's the way they're at it. The hypocrisy Democrats
- 13:49Speaker 2: are famous for. So when the war crimes hoax fizzles
- 13:53Speaker 2: out because people aren't buying it, nobody cares. They'll move
- 13:57Speaker 2: on to the ballroom now right now. They're also trying
- 13:59Speaker 2: the health thing. Trump he didn't doze off, but there
- 14:04Speaker 2: were one time and Pete Hegsath, I think it was
- 14:06Speaker 2: Pete Heggsath's going a little long. Trump closed his eyes,
- 14:11Speaker 2: so they showed the video. Look at this, his eyes
- 14:12Speaker 2: are closed. He fell asleep in the cabin. At mean,
- 14:14Speaker 2: this is all, but watch it carefully. Go watch the
- 14:16Speaker 2: video for yourself. There's a couple of times you see
- 14:19Speaker 2: Pete Heggatt made some kind of joke and you can
- 14:20Speaker 2: see Trump's laughing. His eyes are closed, but he's laughing.
- 14:24Speaker 2: He's reacting to everything he's saying. But they love talking
- 14:27Speaker 2: about his health and how bad he is.
- 14:28Speaker 1: If I go one day, I had one day where
- 14:31Speaker 1: I didn't do a news conference. There's something wrong with
- 14:33Speaker 1: the president. Few people are crazy. I'll let you know
- 14:37Speaker 1: with there's something wrong. There will be someday that's gonna
- 14:41Speaker 1: happen to all of us. But right now, I think
- 14:42Speaker 1: I'm sharper than I was twenty five years ago. But
- 14:44Speaker 1: who the hell does I took By the way I
- 14:47Speaker 1: took my physical I got all a's everything.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, but uh, he's very funny yesterday.
- 14:54Speaker 1: But you always find something new, like is he in
- 14:57Speaker 1: good health? Biden was great, but he's trumply good health.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I said, here I do for news conferences a day.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I asked questions from very intelligent Luna text.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I always give.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I give them the right edges. There's never a scandal, there's
- 15:15Speaker 1: never a problem. I give you engines that solve you
- 15:18Speaker 1: a little problem.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Now he's in great health, of course, and the cabinet
- 15:22Speaker 2: meeting was pretty interesting. We'll go over that cabinet meeting
- 15:25Speaker 2: a little later. But you know, a lot of people
- 15:29Speaker 2: think Trump has to go back to campaign mode. Like
- 15:33Speaker 2: we were talking about the affordability, even though it's a
- 15:36Speaker 2: fake issue. I mean, you want affordability, it's fake in
- 15:39Speaker 2: that these Democrats couldn't possibly do anything about it. This
- 15:43Speaker 2: guy like Zoron Mamdani or this woman that ran in
- 15:46Speaker 2: Tennessee could never ever ever do anything about affordability. They
- 15:50Speaker 2: wouldn't know how to do. They wouldn't begin to know how
- 15:52Speaker 2: to So they went to Trump before the midterms. Go
- 15:56Speaker 2: back into campaign mode. You know, he was different in
- 15:58Speaker 2: the campaign. Now he's in the oval office and it's
- 16:01Speaker 2: very ornate. It's the other problem. It was nice to
- 16:04Speaker 2: make it all gold and look unbelievably unbelievably luxurious, and
- 16:11Speaker 2: it looks like a palace, but that kind of reinforces
- 16:14Speaker 2: the dictator king kind of thing. He made it look
- 16:18Speaker 2: like a palace, so psychologically it made him look more
- 16:21Speaker 2: like a king. They want him to go back into
- 16:22Speaker 2: campaign mode. Remember when we got in the garbage truck
- 16:25Speaker 2: and he drove the garbage truck. Remember when he worked
- 16:27Speaker 2: in McDonald's. That's where he looked like he was really
- 16:29Speaker 2: in touch. So he's got to do more of that. Also,
- 16:33Speaker 2: people are advising him. You got to do more. Go
- 16:35Speaker 2: back to those podcasts, the Joe Rogan type podcasts, that
- 16:39Speaker 2: kind of stuff, you know, those blue collar, down to
- 16:41Speaker 2: earth kind of podcasts. More of that, more driving the
- 16:44Speaker 2: garbage truck. So you might see more of that coming
- 16:47Speaker 2: at some point to counter all of this stuff. Hey,
- 16:50Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 16:53Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 16:57Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Back to Marsham. Hey, let's
- 17:04Speaker 2: take some calls. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert,
- 17:08Speaker 2: how you doing all right?
- 17:10Speaker 5: Mark? And good morning?
- 17:11Speaker 2: Thank you for taking my call.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Mark.
- 17:13Speaker 5: I don't know if you remember when that atrocity of
- 17:16Speaker 5: a pull out happened under the Biden administration when we.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Will don't know if I remember it? What am i?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Joe Biden? Of course I remember it right before you
- 17:27Speaker 2: tell us everything we already know. Is there a point?
- 17:30Speaker 5: The point is right after that Milly said, after they
- 17:34Speaker 5: killed seven.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Yeah, no, we know the whole story. Everybody's familiar with it.
- 17:38Speaker 2: What is the point.
- 17:40Speaker 5: The point is where's the media went. They didn't counce
- 17:43Speaker 5: on Biden or anybody. They didn't.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know if you heard, But the media
- 17:48Speaker 2: is slanted. They defend Democrats, they cover up from Democrats,
- 17:52Speaker 2: and they go after anything Trump. If it's Biden, they'll
- 17:54Speaker 2: defend them like crazy, cover up anything. Yeah, Millie was
- 17:58Speaker 2: the absolute worst. All they do is to defend this guy.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Let's go to Vic in Pennsylvania. Vic. How you doing.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I'm doing great, Mark. I got a question, where were
- 18:09Speaker 2: the Democrats for.
- 18:11Speaker 4: The Biden administration with affordability when we had.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Nine point five? Again, it's Democrats and everything they do
- 18:18Speaker 2: is okay, they're right, They're always right. Inflation was nine percent.
- 18:25Speaker 2: You never heard him mentioned affordability. Now in the defense
- 18:28Speaker 2: of Democrats, they didn't get that study yet. That focus
- 18:31Speaker 2: group stuff didn't come out yet. It came out later.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And they see these They pay a fortune of these
- 18:37Speaker 2: groups navigators one. There's a whole bunch of them. It's
- 18:41Speaker 2: not a polling thing. It's not like some little college
- 18:43Speaker 2: poll with a couple of guys with iPads. I mean
- 18:45Speaker 2: this year, massive research groups that go out and they
- 18:49Speaker 2: research and they find out what what deep down people
- 18:53Speaker 2: are and then they find the right word. And they
- 18:55Speaker 2: found that word affordability. And that's why all these different
- 18:58Speaker 2: races all over the country. All of a sudden, they
- 19:00Speaker 2: got the same word affordability. It's all coordinated. Let's go
- 19:04Speaker 2: to Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart, how you.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Doing, hey, Mark, Carol. You know, as far as that
- 19:09Speaker 4: election in Tennessee, there's there's a couple of points there.
- 19:12Speaker 4: You know, you're right, it was an off season election.
- 19:16Speaker 4: And the other problem is I live in a smaller
- 19:18Speaker 4: southern town right to Augusta, and for decades I never
- 19:22Speaker 4: knew any liberals. They are here in droves now, and
- 19:25Speaker 4: I think that's what happened in Tennessee. They're they're fleeing
- 19:29Speaker 4: the north and then voting in the same way they
- 19:31Speaker 4: did up north and destroying the new place that they lived.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Well, yeah, good point. Nashville was a little, tiny, medium
- 19:37Speaker 2: sized town and then a million people descend. It's now
- 19:40Speaker 2: one of the biggest, most thriving cities in America. But
- 19:44Speaker 2: you're right, all liberals came in exactly. Yeah, all right, Well,
- 19:48Speaker 2: so what was worse when you had Locus or we
- 19:50Speaker 2: have all these liberals coming in?
- 19:52Speaker 4: You know, everybody here was friendly. You could not pass
- 19:55Speaker 4: anybody without somebody saying hello. And now people won't even
- 19:58Speaker 4: look you in the eye. They just look down. They
- 20:01Speaker 4: wore dark clothes like they do up in New York,
- 20:04Speaker 4: and I feel like I'm in downtown Brooklyn. You don't
- 20:08Speaker 4: hear the Southern accent here anymore. Yeah, you just it's
- 20:12Speaker 4: very New York now and it's changed politics quite a bit,
- 20:16Speaker 4: and it's really scaring the heck ass. So with man Donnie,
- 20:20Speaker 4: I was afraid that a lot of people are going
- 20:22Speaker 4: to be moving down here now.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm afraid. So you're gonna get more of them.
- 20:26Speaker 2: They're going to be all out of the place, all right,
- 20:29Speaker 2: Thanks for calling, Stuart. Yeah, if you watch the Andy
- 20:31Speaker 2: Griffith Show today, it'd be a whole different show. Actually,
- 20:34Speaker 2: you know what, that would be an actual good idea
- 20:36Speaker 2: for a sitcom. You bring back the Andy Griffith Show,
- 20:40Speaker 2: only his town is getting overrun by hipsters from Brooklyn
- 20:43Speaker 2: and New Yorkers and people from Long Island changing everything.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good.
- 20:51Speaker 6: Morning, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning Mara, Stuart. I live
- 20:56Speaker 6: in downtown Brooklyn and it's even worse than you. I
- 21:00Speaker 6: mean it is.
- 21:02Speaker 7: These liberals here are absolutely horrible and I'm sorry to
- 21:06Speaker 7: hear that they're bringing the liberal cancer down down South.
- 21:12Speaker 7: Mark uh the news media to fake news media don't
- 21:17Speaker 7: seem to realize or they don't want to report on it.
- 21:20Speaker 7: It's not affordability, it's unaffordability created by democratic politicians. The
- 21:28Speaker 7: property taxes and the fees run through everything like Montezuma's revenge.
- 21:36Speaker 7: These are the liberal news media in this country. Should
- 21:40Speaker 7: go query some of the world leaders in Europe because
- 21:45Speaker 7: I've seen the affairs that they have in the ballrooms
- 21:48Speaker 7: in Europe, and probably they're saying, thank god Donald Trump's
- 21:53Speaker 7: in office, because we're sick of having to go to
- 21:56Speaker 7: the bedroom and port of sans sit up lastic jair.
- 22:00Speaker 2: What Vincent is talking about, believe it or not, Vincent
- 22:04Speaker 2: the startment, believe or not. That East room of the
- 22:06Speaker 2: White House didn't hold very many people, so when had
- 22:08Speaker 2: a big event, they had to do it in a
- 22:10Speaker 2: tent on the lawn and the guests had to use
- 22:12Speaker 2: porta potties.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Can you imagine porter partties compared to the Palace of Versailles,
- 22:16Speaker 3: Because Mark, I've seen and I've actually been in some
- 22:20Speaker 3: of these Italian ballrooms in these palaces.
- 22:24Speaker 7: Donald Trump is doing the right thing, rather than spending
- 22:27Speaker 7: two hundred and fifty million dollars on some cheesy basketball
- 22:31Speaker 7: court like Barack Obamas.
- 22:34Speaker 2: H you know you're absolutely right, Vincent. A great call.
- 22:36Speaker 2: The ballroom is a good act. Can you imagine you're
- 22:38Speaker 2: the president of France. You come to a major dinner
- 22:40Speaker 2: at the White House and it's in a tent on
- 22:42Speaker 2: the lawn and you have to go to a porta
- 22:44Speaker 2: potty like you're at a wedding and hunting and this
- 22:49Speaker 2: is so Trump is absolutely right. Hey, when we come back,
- 22:53Speaker 2: here's a great guest. John Carney is one of the
- 22:56Speaker 2: best brightest guys on the economy in the world. He's
- 23:00Speaker 2: the editor of breit Bart Business Digest. But he is
- 23:03Speaker 2: the smartest guy. You'll love him. He'll be with us
- 23:05Speaker 2: next on seven to ten. Wor here's more Mark Simone
- 23:09Speaker 2: on seven to tenor well, hey, how do we pick
- 23:13Speaker 2: our guest? We just bring you the smartest people on
- 23:15Speaker 2: earth and John Carney brilliant. He is the business editor
- 23:19Speaker 2: of Breitbart News the Business Digest. By the way, you
- 23:22Speaker 2: should sign up for that daily newsletter, the Breitbart Business
- 23:26Speaker 2: Digest newsletter. Excellent stuff. He writes that with Breitbart editor
- 23:30Speaker 2: in chief Alex Marlow. But he's a brilliant guy on
- 23:34Speaker 2: the economy. On business from Breitbart, John Carney, how you
- 23:37Speaker 2: doing very good? Doug's having Mark Hey anytime. So the
- 23:43Speaker 2: election in Tennessee, the election wherever you look. Affordability. They
- 23:47Speaker 2: keep using this word affordability. Affordability. Now, how do Democrats
- 23:51Speaker 2: run every inch of New York for fifteen years and
- 23:53Speaker 2: then tell you there's an affordability crisis and they'll fix it.
- 23:58Speaker 5: That's a great question. Look, the plans that the Democrats have,
- 24:03Speaker 5: particularly in New York and Mandami, won't make New York
- 24:07Speaker 5: any more affordable. In fact, his plan to freeze rents
- 24:12Speaker 5: will actually make it much harder for anybody to find
- 24:16Speaker 5: an apartment in New York because guess what happens when
- 24:19Speaker 5: a landlord can't raise the rent. It means that somebody
- 24:23Speaker 5: who otherwise would move out stays in the apartment forever.
- 24:28Speaker 5: I have friends who live in rent controlled apartments that
- 24:31Speaker 5: they inherited from their grandparents. Yeah, I mean, like literally,
- 24:35Speaker 5: they're like real estate royalty in New York. And it's
- 24:38Speaker 5: funny that a socialist is putting this in place, but
- 24:42Speaker 5: that's what it creates, is people who never let go
- 24:44Speaker 5: of their apartments.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Hey, so when you get to the midterms, I know
- 24:48Speaker 2: you could give me statistics and prove things are getting better.
- 24:51Speaker 2: But Democrats in the fake news, they've done a good
- 24:54Speaker 2: job of creating the illusion that we're in a crisis
- 24:56Speaker 2: as far as inflation and prices. What does the president
- 25:00Speaker 2: need to do to counter that?
- 25:02Speaker 5: So one thing that the Trump and the Republicans have
- 25:07Speaker 5: an advantage, which is time is on their side. Right now,
- 25:12Speaker 5: inflation is running around three percent, but it's coming down.
- 25:17Speaker 5: We've seen the price of gasoline come down a lot
- 25:20Speaker 5: over the last two months, sheeper gasoline. The inflation continuing
- 25:25Speaker 5: to come down. I think by the time we get
- 25:28Speaker 5: to say, like next summer, so that which is around
- 25:33Speaker 5: when people start to decide how they're going to vote. Right,
- 25:36Speaker 5: the people don't decide really on the election day. They
- 25:39Speaker 5: decide sometime, you know, a few months ahead of time.
- 25:42Speaker 5: By the time we get to next summer, I think
- 25:44Speaker 5: actually that this sure, the media will still talk about affordability,
- 25:50Speaker 5: but people won't be feeling it the way they are
- 25:53Speaker 5: right now. Right now they're still dealing with basically the
- 25:56Speaker 5: hangover of Biden. Inflation prices went up a lot. But
- 26:00Speaker 5: as we get further and further away from that, inflation
- 26:03Speaker 5: will continue to come down and people's sort of anger
- 26:08Speaker 5: over how high prices already are will fade a little bit.
- 26:11Speaker 5: So a big time is on their side. So really
- 26:13Speaker 5: all they need to do is stay the course, don't
- 26:17Speaker 5: freak out, and frankly, don't give it into this word
- 26:20Speaker 5: of affordability. If you're talking about affordability as a Republican,
- 26:25Speaker 5: you're losing. You need to talk about opportunity, You need
- 26:29Speaker 5: to talk about growth. Affordability is Frankly, Donald Trump's right
- 26:35Speaker 5: when he called it a con job. It is a
- 26:37Speaker 5: It is a phrase that they never used when inflation
- 26:41Speaker 5: was running at nine percent under Biden. Now it's a
- 26:44Speaker 5: crisis because the media has made it one.
- 26:47Speaker 2: It's a con job. But it's a good one. It works,
- 26:50Speaker 2: you know, it is.
- 26:50Speaker 5: It's working.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Hey, But people have to realize as far as the
- 26:55Speaker 2: big beautiful bill, nothing is kicked in yet, right, What
- 26:58Speaker 2: changes now in January with that? That's right?
- 27:01Speaker 5: So one of the we're going to see a couple
- 27:03Speaker 5: changes that are very important. One is the no tax
- 27:06Speaker 5: on tips, which will be a very big deal. You know,
- 27:10Speaker 5: if you are working in a service job and you
- 27:13Speaker 5: are paid primarily in tips, this is a huge tax
- 27:17Speaker 5: cut for you. So we're going to see that kick in. Also,
- 27:21Speaker 5: there will be no tax on additional income if you're
- 27:24Speaker 5: collecting Social Security, that will be important. The other thing
- 27:28Speaker 5: that has already started to kick in, and we're going
- 27:31Speaker 5: to see it even more as we get into the
- 27:32Speaker 5: new year is the automatic depreciation of capital investments. Now,
- 27:42Speaker 5: I know that sounds really wonky and nerdy, but what
- 27:45Speaker 5: it means is that businesses can actually invest and write
- 27:50Speaker 5: off right away the full expense of the new machinery
- 27:55Speaker 5: they buy, the new factory they build. That's a big
- 27:59Speaker 5: deal and it will encourage a lot more investment. And
- 28:02Speaker 5: when you get that kind of investment, you increase productivity,
- 28:06Speaker 5: which will then actually increase employment as well. So I
- 28:10Speaker 5: think actually the job market, which has been a little
- 28:13Speaker 5: shaky today we got a shaky report from the from ADP,
- 28:19Speaker 5: I think we're actually going to see the job markets
- 28:21Speaker 5: start to pick up a lot too, and that will
- 28:23Speaker 5: assuage people's fears about the economy as well.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah, also, you have a new FED chairman coming, but
- 28:28Speaker 2: how much difference is that going to make? And the
- 28:30Speaker 2: role of the FED seems to be a little crazy
- 28:33Speaker 2: right now. It shouldn't have this kind of importance, should it.
- 28:36Speaker 2: That's right.
- 28:37Speaker 5: In a perfect world, we wouldn't care so much who
- 28:39Speaker 5: the FED chairman is. I think actually one of the
- 28:43Speaker 5: legacies of Jerome Powell has been a over highlighting of
- 28:49Speaker 5: the FED chairman. He looked back in You know when
- 28:54Speaker 5: under Paul Volker or Alan Greenspan, nobody knew what the
- 28:58Speaker 5: FED was doing because they didn't even have conferences and
- 29:00Speaker 5: when they got called before Congress they were talk in riddles.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I'm not sure we need to go back to that.
- 29:05Speaker 5: But Bernanke when he was FED chairman, sat behind a
- 29:09Speaker 5: desk when he held his press conferences. It was kind
- 29:11Speaker 5: of like doing office hours with a professor. What are
- 29:14Speaker 5: the innovations of Jerome Powell was to stand in front
- 29:18Speaker 5: of a podium like he is the President of the
- 29:21Speaker 5: United States and basically make a speech. I think the
- 29:26Speaker 5: next FED chairman, if I had one request, there would
- 29:29Speaker 5: be no more podium. Sit behind a desk. Again, don't
- 29:33Speaker 5: act like a politician. Don't act like you're the most
- 29:36Speaker 5: important person in the world. Sit behind a desk, talk academically,
- 29:41Speaker 5: don't give a speech.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point, hey, John Carney. Now let
- 29:45Speaker 2: me ask some Democrats will complain about tariffs. Have tariffs
- 29:48Speaker 2: raised the prices? Tariffs? It's a burden on the consumer
- 29:51Speaker 2: because they'll pay the take, don't they? Then the Democrats,
- 29:55Speaker 2: aren't they proposing tariffs when they talk about a corporate
- 29:58Speaker 2: tax increase. Isn't that the same thing, same effect as
- 30:00Speaker 2: a tariff.
- 30:02Speaker 5: It's actually not just the same effect. It's the same
- 30:04Speaker 5: exact thing. The consumers don't pay tariffs, right. The first
- 30:09Speaker 5: person who pays a tariff is the person who is
- 30:12Speaker 5: importing a good That is a company, it's Walmart, it's Target,
- 30:17Speaker 5: it's a big business that is importing the goods those are.
- 30:22Speaker 5: That's who pays the tariff. It is a form of
- 30:24Speaker 5: a corporate tax. So when Democrats say, oh, you know
- 30:28Speaker 5: that that tax will be passed on to consumers, which,
- 30:31Speaker 5: by the way, it really hasn't paid. What we businesses
- 30:35Speaker 5: have been telling us actually in all of their earnings
- 30:38Speaker 5: that they're actually having a really hard time trying to
- 30:41Speaker 5: pass it on to consumers. Who's paying it is it's
- 30:44Speaker 5: coming out of the bottom line of businesses or the
- 30:47Speaker 5: manufacturers abroad, are lowering their price to keep themselves competitive
- 30:52Speaker 5: in the US. But a raise of corporate tax somehow
- 30:56Speaker 5: the Democrats think, will mysteriously not be passed up. So
- 31:00Speaker 5: they say that the tariff will be, but the corporate
- 31:03Speaker 5: taxt won't. Their point really doesn't make much sense. And
- 31:07Speaker 5: if anything, a corporate tax is more likely to be
- 31:10Speaker 5: passed on to consumers because it can't be paid at
- 31:13Speaker 5: all by a foreign manufacturer. There's nobody to push it
- 31:16Speaker 5: back onto, so it will be paid by both consumers
- 31:21Speaker 5: and investors. Actually, which you know is the same thing.
- 31:26Speaker 5: You know, people, It will come out of people's four
- 31:28Speaker 5: one ks, the retirement plans. That's who ends up paying
- 31:31Speaker 5: the corporate tax.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Wow. Very good explanation. Sayah, so tariff's easier on the consumer.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Corporate tax boom hits the consumer immediately, absolutely, John Carney,
- 31:42Speaker 2: great having you on. Let's do it again soon and
- 31:44Speaker 2: thanks for the It's the best thing every day to
