- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. All right, well, I haven't
- 0:07Speaker 1: had time to break this down, but we are on
- 0:11Speaker 1: the verge of a real ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
- 0:16Speaker 1: And I don't even want to play with the bidenmitstation
- 0:19Speaker 1: had to say, because it's just it doesn't matter to me.
- 0:24Speaker 1: But I find it very interesting here on the one
- 0:27Speaker 1: like a network on Alex Garrett, that after it's voted
- 0:33Speaker 1: on by the Israeli Security Cabinet, which is meeting today,
- 0:40Speaker 1: the agreement would be halted.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I would hold more than fifteen months.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Of fighting in Gaza, this according you know this by
- 0:47Speaker 1: the NPR. And it would also be possibly going into
- 0:55Speaker 1: effect on Monday, when a new present takes over this country.
- 1:02Speaker 1: And I find that striking because you have to believe.
- 1:11Speaker 1: This ceasefire came about days before Trump came to office,
- 1:26Speaker 1: because he said he didn't want to, you know.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Affect the negotiations.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Remember when he said this last week, all must be paid.
- 1:42Speaker 2: If they don't release, what do I have to define
- 1:45Speaker 2: it for you?
- 1:46Speaker 1: If those hostages aren't.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Back, I don't want to hurt the negotiation. If they're
- 1:52Speaker 2: not back by the time I get into office, all
- 1:55Speaker 2: hell will break out in the Middle East.
- 1:59Speaker 1: And sure enough this deal could take on when he
- 2:06Speaker 1: is sworn in on Monday. On Monday, So yes, I
- 2:16Speaker 1: believe President Trump had a role in this. I have
- 2:20Speaker 1: to believe Biden, in his state of mind, probably still
- 2:24Speaker 1: did something to achieve this as well. And now he
- 2:30Speaker 1: goes on the commute twenty five hundred non violent felons
- 2:36Speaker 1: and what Anyway, what I'm trying to say here is
- 2:42Speaker 1: President Trump is the big reason why this cease free
- 2:47Speaker 1: fire deal happened. So I wouldn't be interesting if it
- 2:49Speaker 1: took effect the day he took office, not Biden's final day.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Can you believe after four years we're in the final
- 2:56Speaker 1: weekend the Biden administration. I thought we wouldn't see it,
- 3:01Speaker 1: but here we are. We're almost out of it, and
- 3:06Speaker 1: maybe for the better. You might disagree, you might agree,
- 3:09Speaker 1: but maybe for the better. So it is a Trump effect.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Even the Atlantic, which is fairly left, has given him credit.
- 3:21Speaker 1: They say, you know, they said recently Trump made the
- 3:36Speaker 1: Gaza sease fire happen. The Atlantic is saying this and
- 3:48Speaker 1: they don't usually support President Trump, so that's very interesting
- 3:52Speaker 1: that they are writing about that.
- 3:56Speaker 2: In that way. Look all across the board. It's a
- 4:01Speaker 2: it's a win.
- 4:04Speaker 1: It's a win, and I think people are just wanting
- 4:10Speaker 1: this administration to go into the sunset. No other craziness
- 4:14Speaker 1: in the next two days. No Andrew Jackson's style, midnight appointments, right,
- 4:21Speaker 1: remember all of that.
- 4:24Speaker 2: And whatnot. Just leave office gracefully.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And and and and let the new administration take over.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I think that's what we're all praying for this weekend,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and we should be. We should be praying for that
- 4:36Speaker 1: as a nation, not just boom mom's get everything done
- 4:39Speaker 1: in one second to see how we can undermine Trump's administration.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Now, just let them take over. That's kind of what
- 4:46Speaker 2: I'm feeling, because.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I remember four years ago everybody had a problem, and
- 4:52Speaker 1: not to minimize what happened on January sixth, but they
- 4:58Speaker 1: clearly felt that there was no transition of power peaceful.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Well, then be the better person.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Ensure a peaceful transfer of power, and don't do anything
- 5:09Speaker 1: raucous or rowdy or wild or chaotic in the last
- 5:13Speaker 1: two days. That's my plea to the Bide administration as
- 5:18Speaker 1: we look forward to Jarring twenty twenty twenty five this Monday.
- 5:26Speaker 1: This Monday, and you know, the Security Cabinet for Israel
- 5:32Speaker 1: is going to be going. I'm sure if there're a
- 5:35Speaker 1: lot a bit of a debate over this, because I
- 5:38Speaker 1: think we're all worried that if there is a ceasefire deal,
- 5:42Speaker 1: Hamas will have more AMMO because Israel will abide by it.
- 5:46Speaker 2: But who knows if Hamas will.
- 5:51Speaker 1: That's the big worry I've always had with the word
- 5:52Speaker 1: cease fire, and I still will. But Cabinet's going to
- 6:00Speaker 1: vote today and then I could hit the Israeli Supreme Court.
- 6:03Speaker 2: We're not over with this. But if NPRS.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Caitlin lower Storff is right, Lonsdorf is right, this could
- 6:14Speaker 1: be happening on Monday, this ceasefires taking effect, and that
- 6:24Speaker 1: would be that would be fascinating. If on the day.
- 6:32Speaker 2: President Trump gets inaugurated.
- 6:34Speaker 1: His all hell o break loose comes into fruition and
- 6:38Speaker 1: Hamas does back down.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It's a win for everybody. It's a win for everybody.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 6:49Speaker 1: That's where we're at in this Israel Hamas ceasefire status,
- 6:53Speaker 1: and we'll have more to update you on the walling
- 6:56Speaker 1: up on news. I will be following closely for us
- 7:01Speaker 1: as we hit the final weekend of the Biden administration.
- 7:09Speaker 2: How's it feel to hear that?
- 7:10Speaker 1: Email me Alex at alex g NYC dot com.
