- 0:37Speaker 4: If anybody hasn't read this article, I don't read it.
- 0:40Speaker 4: This was brought to me my mother.
- 0:43Speaker 5: I have children.
- 0:44Speaker 4: I think this is worth reading.
- 0:46Speaker 5: Let me tell you why.
- 0:47Speaker 4: I'll talk about this article. Three fourths of this is inaccurate.
- 0:52Speaker 6: It's fiction, and this racle embarrasses me to be involved
- 1:00Speaker 6: athletics tremendously.
- 1:04Speaker 4: And that arracle had to have been written by a
- 1:08Speaker 4: person that doesn't have a child and has never had
- 1:13Speaker 4: a child, that's had.
- 1:15Speaker 7: Their heart broken and come home upset and had to
- 1:21Speaker 7: deal with the child when he is upset and kick
- 1:26Speaker 7: a person when he's down.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Here's all that kid did.
- 1:32Speaker 6: He goes to class, he's respectful to the media, he's
- 1:37Speaker 6: respectful to the public, and he's a good kid. And
- 1:41Speaker 6: he's not a professional athlete, and he doesn't deserve.
- 1:44Speaker 4: To be kicked when he's down. If you have a child,
- 1:48Speaker 4: someday you'll understand how it feels. But you obviously don't.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Have a child.
- 1:53Speaker 8: I do.
- 1:55Speaker 6: If your child goes down the street, if somebody makes
- 1:58Speaker 6: fun of him because.
- 1:59Speaker 4: He's off the pass in a pickup game, or says he's.
- 2:04Speaker 6: Fat, and he comes home crying to his mom.
- 2:08Speaker 4: You'd understand. But you haven't had that.
- 2:13Speaker 6: But someday you will, and when your child comes home,
- 2:16Speaker 6: you'll understand. If you want to go after an athlete,
- 2:20Speaker 6: one of my athletes, you go after one that doesn't
- 2:23Speaker 6: do the right things. You don't downgrade him because he
- 2:27Speaker 6: does everything right and may not play as well on Saturday,
- 2:30Speaker 6: and you let us make that decision. That's why I
- 2:33Speaker 6: don't read the newspaper because it's garbage.
- 2:36Speaker 4: And the editor that let it come out is garbage.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Attacking an amateur athlete for doing everything right, and then
- 2:48Speaker 6: you want to write articles about guys that don't do
- 2:50Speaker 6: things right and downgrade him the ones that do make plays?
- 2:53Speaker 4: Are you kidding me? Where are we at in society today?
- 2:58Speaker 4: Come after me?
- 2:59Speaker 6: I'm a man, I'm forty, I'm not a kid.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Write something about me?
- 3:06Speaker 6: Or are coaches right about a kid that does everything right?
- 3:10Speaker 6: That's heart's broken? And then say that the coaches said
- 3:14Speaker 6: he was scared.
- 3:15Speaker 4: That ain't true.
- 3:18Speaker 6: And then to say that we made that decision because
- 3:20Speaker 6: Donovan was because he threatened to transfer.
- 3:23Speaker 4: That's not trude. So get your facts straight.
- 3:29Speaker 6: And I hope someday you have a child and somebody
- 3:31Speaker 6: be downgrades them and belittles them, and you have to
- 3:34Speaker 6: look him in the eye and say, you know what.
- 3:36Speaker 4: It's okay. They're supposed to be mature adults, but they're
- 3:40Speaker 4: really not. Who's the kid here? Who's the kid here?
- 3:44Speaker 4: Are you kidding me? And that's all I got to say.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Makes me want of a pew.
- 3:51Speaker 1: The Great might Gundy. That was eighteen years ago, he
- 3:59Speaker 1: was forty, he was a man. Then he's fifty eight.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Today he'll have to get by on whatever that seven
- 4:06Speaker 1: figure salary that he's owed from Oklahoma State. As they
- 4:09Speaker 1: let him go today. Seventeen years it's been since that
- 4:16Speaker 1: classic Gundy rant. Be interesting to see who successors are
- 4:28Speaker 1: going to be. GJ. Kinney has been mentioned, Jeff Traylor
- 4:34Speaker 1: has been mentioned, Colin Klein has been mentioned. You know,
- 4:42Speaker 1: we'll see what happens with the search. You know, it's
- 4:46Speaker 1: interesting they didn't have the money to compete, according to people. Well,
- 4:55Speaker 1: part of that is t Boon of course. Way even
- 5:01Speaker 1: before that, t Boon and Gundhy had had a falling out.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But the well went dry. We'll see see what happens.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Friday's Fearless Football Forecast contest is brought to you by
- 5:19Speaker 1: Swernemann Floring and Chad Jones Law. Oh what a week
- 5:24Speaker 1: picking games. It's already week five, My gosh. Go online
- 5:28Speaker 1: at chip Hower dot com to the contest page and
- 5:31Speaker 1: make your picks before five pm Friday. That's the deadline,
- 5:36Speaker 1: five pm Friday. The tiebreaker game is in State College
- 5:41Speaker 1: at the White Out Penn State, Oregon, Willa Ridge and Rudder,
- 5:46Speaker 1: Anderson and Consolidated Auburn at A and m lsu Ole,
- 5:52Speaker 1: Miss Alabama, Georgia, TCU, Arizona State, Rice and Navy. The
- 6:04Speaker 1: Titans and the Texans, the Packers, and the Cowboys. Those
- 6:11Speaker 1: are ten games. You go pick them. If you win
- 6:15Speaker 1: this week, you'll learn it or you'll be really, really lucky.
- 6:19Speaker 1: More people win that are lucky than they are good.
- 6:22Speaker 1: But for the season, that's why you get your name
- 6:26Speaker 1: engraved on the cup, because that means you've been good
- 6:31Speaker 1: and not lucky all those weeks. Friday's Fearless Football Forecast Contest,
- 6:38Speaker 1: America's most loved football Pick Them contest, a division of
- 6:41Speaker 1: Sports Talk had brought to you by Chad Jones, Law
- 6:45Speaker 1: and Zwernemann flooring. All Right, still trying to get over
- 6:52Speaker 1: the fact that Haines King's not on my Heisman list, Well,
- 6:55Speaker 1: he's on my Heisman list, he's not on the betting list.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Let's put it that way. I guess he doesn't throw
- 7:04Speaker 1: a pretty enough pass. All he does is win and
- 7:07Speaker 1: beat the heck out of the defense. The Heisman says
- 7:12Speaker 1: most outstanding player, period. That's it. That's most outstanding player, period.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Doesn't say one that throws for the most yards, the
- 7:22Speaker 1: most outstanding quarterback doesn't say that, just says most outstanding player.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And we've got a long way to go. There are
- 7:33Speaker 1: there are going to be Heisman favorites that come up
- 7:42Speaker 1: this weekend. There are going to be Heisman favorites that
- 7:48Speaker 1: come down this weekend. Uh. Arch of course is off,
- 7:56Speaker 1: so you can't. I can't penalize him and take him
- 7:59Speaker 1: off my number one spot just because he has an
- 8:03Speaker 1: open date. Now, there are others behind him that can rise.
- 8:08Speaker 1: There are others behind him that can fall. By the way,
- 8:13Speaker 1: on the betting line, he's tied with Haines King. Is
- 8:18Speaker 1: that what you told me? Caleb tied with Haines King? Right,
- 8:22Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty to one or something like that,
- 8:26Speaker 1: twenty five to one. Okay, anyway, that's you know what.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Look I said last week. I want to be fair
- 8:37Speaker 1: about this, I said before the Texas played Sam Houston.
- 8:41Speaker 1: In order for me to maintain Arch is my number
- 8:47Speaker 1: one candidate for the Heisman, he would have to throw
- 8:51Speaker 1: a touchdown pass and complete over fifty percent of his passes,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and he more than did that. I mean, I don't
- 9:03Speaker 1: know how many yarg through four, but how much for
- 9:09Speaker 1: three hundred nine yards very accurate? Right eighteen for twenty
- 9:15Speaker 1: one three TD passes and two rushing touchdowns right counted
- 9:20Speaker 1: for five touchdowns. I mean Come on, people, what more
- 9:24Speaker 1: do you want out of a Heisman candidate? I don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: know what you want out of a Heisman candidate. So
- 9:33Speaker 1: that's all you can ask for. You can't ask for
- 9:35Speaker 1: better than that. Okay, coming up here in just a minute,
- 9:44Speaker 1: we're going to hear from these guys who wrote up
- 9:48Speaker 1: really wild book. I will tell you again, Scott Clendenna
- 9:53Speaker 1: will be with us tomorrow Thursday. I'm so excited. It's
- 9:57Speaker 1: Fat Paar Week. In fact, voting started today on the
- 10:00Speaker 1: fattest bear in Alaska. No way, he's in the lead.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I mean the voting goes like for a week or
- 10:11Speaker 1: something like that.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Voting.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Oh a preliminary voting, and Fat Bear Junior is up there,
- 10:17Speaker 1: Chunk Grazer Yearling. Yearling was. Yearling was one of the
- 10:24Speaker 1: favorites by the way, going in that. Okay, Oh say
- 10:28Speaker 1: so Yearling won won Fat Bear Junior. Okay, so Yearling
- 10:34Speaker 1: gets into the finals by virtue of last week's preliminary voting. Beautiful, Okay,
- 10:39Speaker 1: get online to vote, people, Like I said, you can't
- 10:43Speaker 1: complain if you don't vote. And then Friday, Young Ryan
- 10:47Speaker 1: is going to be down at the ice box in
- 10:50Speaker 1: downtown Houston, watching the Savannah Bananas. Uh, he'll be there,
- 10:56Speaker 1: will We'll be here, Kurt Bulls, Tony Katalina, the usual
- 11:01Speaker 1: Friday gang and you know it's it's a good week.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And then next week, like I said, John Bacon joins
- 11:09Speaker 1: me with one of the best books I've read in
- 11:12Speaker 1: a long time, called The Gales of November on the
- 11:16Speaker 1: Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. He will join us next
- 11:19Speaker 1: week on the show. All Right. A few months ago
- 11:22Speaker 1: I had these guys on the program. The book is
- 11:24Speaker 1: called buzz Me in The Untold Stories of Record Plant Studios.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Martin Porter and David Goggan.
- 11:32Speaker 5: How you doing, guys, We're good. I'm in Hollywood. This
- 11:37Speaker 5: is David Goggin and I'm with my co author Martin
- 11:40Speaker 5: Porter in New York. And here we are.
- 11:43Speaker 1: There nice by coastal Let's start. Let's start at the beginning. David,
- 11:48Speaker 1: why don't you tell our listeners who Chris Stone is.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Well. Chris Stone was co founder of the Record Plan.
- 11:59Speaker 5: He was the business brains and he was the guy
- 12:02Speaker 5: who worked with Gary Calgren, the creative force of the studio,
- 12:09Speaker 5: who was the engineer for Jimi Hendrix Velvet Underground and
- 12:14Speaker 5: Frank Zappa maybe before the birth of the Record Plan
- 12:19Speaker 5: in New York and Chris done. You know well, I
- 12:22Speaker 5: was friends with him for twenty five years. We worked
- 12:27Speaker 5: together on many projects, and we got together with Marty
- 12:31Speaker 5: ten years ago in his backyard Hancock Park here in
- 12:36Speaker 5: Los Angeles and came up with the idea to do
- 12:40Speaker 5: this book. And over the course of those ten years
- 12:43Speaker 5: we interviewed over one hundred people, many of whom were
- 12:46Speaker 5: not well known people, but their memories were very sharp
- 12:50Speaker 5: because they were the assistant engineer or the receptionist or
- 12:56Speaker 5: some other position within the that Record Plant created first
- 13:03Speaker 5: in New York, then La then saw Solito. The title
- 13:07Speaker 5: buzzed me in is because you had to know the password,
- 13:11Speaker 5: you had to know how to get to the studio,
- 13:14Speaker 5: and once you were in there, it was a sanctuary.
- 13:16Speaker 5: You were safe. Tours could be locked from the inside
- 13:20Speaker 5: and you could you could, you could do whatever you wanted.
- 13:25Speaker 9: And just chip chip. One other thing to add Gary
- 13:28Speaker 9: Chris started it New York on forty fourth three, guilted
- 13:30Speaker 9: for Jimmy Hendricks moved that like the industry moved out west,
- 13:34Speaker 9: and they needed somebody to run New York and New
- 13:36Speaker 9: York was always not only where it began, became in
- 13:40Speaker 9: a vital part of the record play legacy. They hired
- 13:44Speaker 9: a gentleman by the name of Roy Sakala, an engineer,
- 13:47Speaker 9: and Roy ended up running that studio, not only being
- 13:51Speaker 9: the studio owner and chief engineer, but being engineer for
- 13:54Speaker 9: some of the great Did all of John Lennon's post
- 13:59Speaker 9: Beatles work?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Guys, you've been around rock and roll, You've written about
- 14:03Speaker 1: rock and roll? Did did some of these stories even
- 14:06Speaker 1: surprise you about what was going on behind those locked doors?
- 14:11Speaker 5: Of course? Yeah, Well that's you know, we're like private detectives.
- 14:19Speaker 5: And you got to you know, you got to talk
- 14:22Speaker 5: about the good, the bad, and the ugly, but generally,
- 14:25Speaker 5: you know, it was all a very positive environment.
- 14:29Speaker 10: Uh.
- 14:31Speaker 5: The pressure on for these artists, you know, like the Eagles,
- 14:35Speaker 5: to come up with the next hit was And I
- 14:38Speaker 5: used to be an engineer. I ran a studio for
- 14:40Speaker 5: a few years. You know, have no idea how uptight
- 14:45Speaker 5: it gets at times, but how explosively creative it can
- 14:49Speaker 5: be too. And these this is the day when people
- 14:52Speaker 5: were working together in the studio. They weren't phoning in
- 14:56Speaker 5: their base part from you know, a remote location and
- 15:00Speaker 5: assembling it like that. This was an environment where the
- 15:04Speaker 5: creativity was the result of many people working simultaneously to
- 15:11Speaker 5: get a sound, to get a rhythm, to get a
- 15:13Speaker 5: record the way they wanted it.
- 15:17Speaker 9: Grey Kelgrin's vision. Gary Kelgrin's vision was to create an
- 15:20Speaker 9: environment that inspired creativity. Not only did they serve the
- 15:24Speaker 9: artists like it like David says as like a five
- 15:26Speaker 9: star hotel, but and not only provide them with the
- 15:30Speaker 9: best possible technology to capture that music, but also to
- 15:34Speaker 9: bring up a generation of young, young musicians want to
- 15:39Speaker 9: be engineers whose job it was exclusively to serve the.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Artist, best best studios, best engineers. And the reputation was
- 15:48Speaker 1: the best drugs in the business too. Correct.
- 15:52Speaker 9: Well, that was always the part that was part of
- 15:53Speaker 9: the culture at that time.
- 15:56Speaker 5: That is true. I mean, you know, you got to
- 15:59Speaker 5: have that curity factor. Ed Freeman, who produced American Pie
- 16:06Speaker 5: UH and many other albums UH, tells his story UH
- 16:11Speaker 5: in Sasolito. Every morning a guy would come in around
- 16:15Speaker 5: eleven am. Was a briefcase, and you know, Ed would say,
- 16:21Speaker 5: well what do you got? He would say, well what
- 16:24Speaker 5: do you want? You open up the case and you've
- 16:26Speaker 5: got four four brands of marijuana. You've got red pills,
- 16:32Speaker 5: black pills, you've got various strengths of powders and stuff
- 16:37Speaker 5: like that. It was kind of a weird time that
- 16:41Speaker 5: you could that you could tailor things like that, and
- 16:46Speaker 5: you know, there were some casualties along the line, but
- 16:50Speaker 5: that's inevitable.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You guys.
- 16:52Speaker 9: So adio audio was the real drug in those days.
- 16:56Speaker 9: Everybody can talk about all the you know, the consumables.
- 16:59Speaker 5: So to speak.
- 17:00Speaker 9: But if there was one reason the artist went to
- 17:03Speaker 9: record plant, it was because of the sound, their ability
- 17:07Speaker 9: to create the sound, to capture the sound, to play
- 17:10Speaker 9: back the sound. They would, yeah, they would. They would
- 17:13Speaker 9: get them anything they wanted, but that included any microphone,
- 17:16Speaker 9: any piece of board gear. It revolutionized multi track recording.
- 17:21Speaker 9: It brought in new consoles and new new acoustic environments.
- 17:25Speaker 9: So people talk about sex, drugs and rock and roll
- 17:28Speaker 9: being the coda of those days, I would add sex, drugs,
- 17:31Speaker 9: rock and roll and audio as being the fourth, very
- 17:34Speaker 9: important fourth element to the.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Story, you guys right about was it a pool table
- 17:39Speaker 1: they put in one of the studios to keep the
- 17:42Speaker 1: artists there because they were charging by the hour. And
- 17:45Speaker 1: they'd stay there all day at all night.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Not only a pool table, there was a pinball machine, yes,
- 17:52Speaker 5: called flare ball, you know. And there they got a
- 17:57Speaker 5: you know, an air hockey game that that Stevie Wonder, Uh.
- 18:03Speaker 5: You know, he became a master of this, of this,
- 18:07Speaker 5: of this game in the studio. He would just amaze people.
- 18:12Speaker 5: And they were betting too. Stephen Wonder was always winning.
- 18:16Speaker 5: They couldn't figure it out.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I need a I need a really good Phil Spector story,
- 18:22Speaker 1: because your book is filled with several of them.
- 18:26Speaker 9: Well, Phil Spector was. Let me tell the story, David,
- 18:28Speaker 9: because Phil Spector was an important part of the story.
- 18:34Speaker 9: His role as a producer came in with with their
- 18:38Speaker 9: first remote recording, which created concerts for Bangladesh. He recorded
- 18:42Speaker 9: with John lennon Imagine at Record Plant in New York,
- 18:47Speaker 9: and then he he accompanied John out La during his
- 18:50Speaker 9: last weekend and worked with him on the Rock and
- 18:52Speaker 9: Roll album there after being after he and John were
- 18:54Speaker 9: thrown out of A and M, they ended up at
- 18:57Speaker 9: Record Plan and uh and worked together. And obvious this
- 19:00Speaker 9: leaf Specter was in his not only a creative genius,
- 19:04Speaker 9: as everybody must acknowledge. Despite his reputation. But he had
- 19:08Speaker 9: a thing for guns and led to his ultimate demises
- 19:12Speaker 9: years later. But he carried a gun everywhere he went,
- 19:17Speaker 9: and he brought the gun to the studio and he
- 19:21Speaker 9: was very casual with it. And there is a story
- 19:25Speaker 9: that we tell that many people told about an evening
- 19:28Speaker 9: had Record Plan the La where a gunshot goes off
- 19:32Speaker 9: and everybody runs and there's John Lennon holding his ears
- 19:36Speaker 9: and Specter with his gun. And this told in many
- 19:39Speaker 9: many angles from many different ways, and we tell the
- 19:42Speaker 9: story very much. Liked that Rachaman tale of from Cinema.
- 19:48Speaker 9: But there is a very good indication that seven years
- 19:52Speaker 9: before John ultimately was killed by gunshot in New York,
- 19:56Speaker 9: that he could have been years before spect actually killed
- 20:01Speaker 9: one of his girlfriends, that he could have very close.
- 20:04Speaker 9: He came very close to killing John Lennon at Record
- 20:07Speaker 9: Plan La.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Speaking of Lennon, the last time Lennon and McCartney were
- 20:13Speaker 1: together in a studio was at Record Plant in nineteen
- 20:17Speaker 1: seventy four. Am I right about that?
- 20:21Speaker 5: Well?
- 20:23Speaker 9: Was that the year Marty you know seventy four tutinsnore
- 20:26Speaker 9: in seventy four, Yeah, that was the jam one of
- 20:28Speaker 9: the jam sessions that took place in Record Plant Studios
- 20:30Speaker 9: c in LA.
- 20:32Speaker 1: And apparently everybody was so wasted. The jam session wasn't
- 20:36Speaker 1: that great. Stevie Wonder came in to sit in on it,
- 20:39Speaker 1: but he didn't stay very long, right.
- 20:42Speaker 5: That's true because he heard about all the people that
- 20:45Speaker 5: were there. I mean, we're talking rock and roll royalty. Yes,
- 20:49Speaker 5: this was Sunday night. It was kind of humorously called
- 20:54Speaker 5: dubbed by George Harrison the Jim Kiltner fan Club Hour,
- 21:00Speaker 5: which you know, Jim was there, and Jim had played
- 21:04Speaker 5: a part in all of the Beatles record post Beatles
- 21:09Speaker 5: records to some extent. But yeah, that did happen, and
- 21:16Speaker 5: you know there's some recordings that were bootleg that that
- 21:21Speaker 5: just still exist. But it was it was a time
- 21:27Speaker 5: that will never come again, and that's what we wanted
- 21:30Speaker 5: to capture. And you know that, that's hence the title
- 21:33Speaker 5: buzzed me In. You got to know the password to
- 21:36Speaker 5: get into the studio on Sunday nights.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Lennon, in fact, Los Angeles was so wild he finally
- 21:44Speaker 1: decided to go back to New York and maybe get
- 21:47Speaker 1: a little work done. Correct.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, he was you know, he was trained in that way,
- 21:52Speaker 5: and he was really a workaholic. The departure to La
- 22:00Speaker 5: his so called lost weekend. It wasn't all lost, but
- 22:05Speaker 5: it was a pretty wild time for him. Jimmy Iveen,
- 22:11Speaker 5: who you know who became a billionaire when he came
- 22:15Speaker 5: out with Roy Sakalo, the engineer from New York. It
- 22:19Speaker 5: was the first time he'd been in an airplane and
- 22:22Speaker 5: the first hotel he'd ever stated in was Beverly Hills Hotel.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You mentioned we'll never have this again. I mean, the
- 22:31Speaker 1: bottom line is, as you've already alluded to, most of
- 22:37Speaker 1: these artists are are getting work from all of the country,
- 22:42Speaker 1: all of the world. People send in their own recording
- 22:45Speaker 1: and then it's mixed and it's It's seldom done in
- 22:48Speaker 1: the studio together anymore, is it.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Yeah, that's really the key to the sound we have.
- 22:55Speaker 5: In the seventies, people got together in the room together
- 23:00Speaker 5: and you know, in addition to all the recreational stuff
- 23:06Speaker 5: that could be done, audio was really the thing that
- 23:11Speaker 5: drove the musicians and the serious artists to record Planet
- 23:16Speaker 5: because of the record plant always had to have the latest.
- 23:21Speaker 5: If there were eight tracks, they put in twelve yep.
- 23:25Speaker 5: If they if this speakers had to withstart withstand the
- 23:31Speaker 5: tremendous levels that Bill Simsck wanted when he was working
- 23:35Speaker 5: with Joe Walsh before the Eagles. You know that they
- 23:40Speaker 5: would blow up the speakers every day until a record
- 23:44Speaker 5: plant tech UH technician UH and genius Tom Hidley designed
- 23:50Speaker 5: or designed a monitor that they couldn't blow up UH.
- 23:56Speaker 1: The book is.
- 23:56Speaker 9: The Record Plant Record Planet uh l A last year.
- 24:01Speaker 9: It was a major facility. It closed New York is
- 24:05Speaker 9: long gone, although there is a Sony Music as a
- 24:08Speaker 9: little studio in the same building. But thank goodness, Saucelito,
- 24:13Speaker 9: which was Gary Kelgrin's great masterpiece into studio design, still
- 24:17Speaker 9: exists and thanks to some great entrepreneurs and some really
- 24:20Speaker 9: great engineers, as being revived. So we have great hope
- 24:23Speaker 9: that there is one record plant now named twenty two
- 24:27Speaker 9: hundred Studios named after twenty two hundred Bridgway where it exists,
- 24:31Speaker 9: is being reborn and there's some great investment and some
- 24:34Speaker 9: great music coming out of it. So it's not all gone.
- 24:37Speaker 9: It's rare. It's incredibly rare, and it's hard to maintain,
- 24:41Speaker 9: but there is one. It is hope that these people
- 24:45Speaker 9: who are working in Saucelito or will keep it, keep
- 24:48Speaker 9: the legend going.
- 24:49Speaker 1: The book is called buzz me In inside the Record

- 28:26Speaker 1: we have news?
- 28:28Speaker 5: We do?
- 28:29Speaker 10: Yeah, that's why we're here.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I mean big news today right.
- 28:34Speaker 15: Oh yeah, well I mean technically midnight, but yes, big news.
- 28:38Speaker 1: We got a new Taylor Swift album coming.
- 28:41Speaker 15: Yeah, we gave you guys a little bit of a
- 28:43Speaker 15: break of having to hear from Taylor Swift. But you know,
- 28:45Speaker 15: football seams and is upon us. You're gonna see her anyways.
- 28:48Speaker 15: But what bigger news then? Yeah, she's dropping another album
- 28:52Speaker 15: less than seven hours after Taylor Swift and that the
- 28:55Speaker 15: title of her twelfth album. Travis Kelcey is gracing the
- 28:59Speaker 15: cover of g Q magazine with a cover story diving
- 29:02Speaker 15: into football, his next career move, and life dating a superstar.
- 29:07Speaker 15: So the Kansas City Chief Titan opened up about blinding
- 29:10Speaker 15: spotlights of being Taylor Swift plus one and how he's
- 29:13Speaker 15: navigating the pressure in the more than six thousand worded
- 29:17Speaker 15: article written by Simon and Schuster publisher Sean Manning. Are
- 29:23Speaker 15: so when there is not a camera on us, we're
- 29:26Speaker 15: just two people that are in love, Kelsey said, it
- 29:28Speaker 15: can be perceived as something else, but as much as
- 29:30Speaker 15: it has talked about, and how much we are tracked
- 29:34Speaker 15: wherever we do go out, but I would say that
- 29:37Speaker 15: it's normal of it happened, that's as normal of. So
- 29:41Speaker 15: basically them being tracked is normal to them, which is
- 29:44Speaker 15: kind of sad. It happened very organically even though from
- 29:48Speaker 15: a media standpoint it was being tracked, it still happened
- 29:52Speaker 15: very organically. So there is that. So I don't think
- 29:56Speaker 15: we were actually trying to talk about let's talk about
- 29:58Speaker 15: Taylor Swift, Like, yes, there's just do you think cool?
- 30:00Speaker 10: But that's not what we're I mean, no offense, but
- 30:02Speaker 10: you know, or for Taylor.
- 30:05Speaker 15: She has announced her twelve studio album, The Life of
- 30:07Speaker 15: a show Girl, and the latest Easter egg might just
- 30:11Speaker 15: reveal who produced the highly anticipated album, The pop Stars
- 30:15Speaker 15: Newest Spotify Playlist and Baby that Show Business for You
- 30:19Speaker 15: has a collection of twenty two songs from Red Reputation
- 30:22Speaker 15: nineteen eighty nine and Red Taylor's version in Eagle Eyed Fans, which,
- 30:28Speaker 15: my god, she has the crazy like and a good race,
- 30:30Speaker 15: craziest fan like.
- 30:32Speaker 10: I don't know how all their brains work.
- 30:34Speaker 1: They dialed.
- 30:36Speaker 15: Well the things that they can figure out, and it's
- 30:39Speaker 15: like it's like a constant scavenger hunt, and I would
- 30:41Speaker 15: be exhausted.
- 30:42Speaker 10: I'm exhausted from reading what they think.
- 30:44Speaker 15: Anyways, as you can tell, Eagle Eyed Fans have noticed
- 30:49Speaker 15: it was produced by same two people, Max Martin and Shellback,
- 30:53Speaker 15: so you can put two and two together Swifties are
- 30:56Speaker 15: convinced the Doo the duo Sorry produce the entire.
- 31:00Speaker 10: Of what was this album called again?
- 31:04Speaker 15: The Whole Life one was.
- 31:04Speaker 10: So Girl Sorry.
- 31:08Speaker 15: The theory has not been confirmed, but as fans know,
- 31:10Speaker 15: there are no coincidences in Taylor's world. Taylor has not
- 31:14Speaker 15: been pictured with Max or Shellback over the year, so
- 31:19Speaker 15: if they did collaborate collaborate, it's totally been under the radar.
- 31:24Speaker 10: She also hasn't been seen entering.
- 31:27Speaker 15: Our Exiting Recording studio since she was spotted heading out
- 31:30Speaker 15: of NYC's Electric Ladies studio in December twenty twenty three,
- 31:34Speaker 15: but that was before the Tortured Poem's Department did come out.
- 31:39Speaker 15: So anyways, Yeah, after midnight she announced it on Travis
- 31:45Speaker 15: and Jason Kelsey's podcast. Wow.
- 31:48Speaker 10: I mean, I think we knew eventually that was going
- 31:50Speaker 10: to happen. She was going to be on Something you
- 31:52Speaker 10: Know on their.
- 31:53Speaker 15: Podcast, But who who knew Taylor Swift releasing an album
- 31:56Speaker 15: on a podcast that usually centers around football.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I think they're getting married.
- 32:02Speaker 15: They might secretly be married, and we just.
- 32:06Speaker 1: You know that would be that would be a real
- 32:09Speaker 1: kick in the stomach if if they got married and
- 32:12Speaker 1: we didn't know about it, and.
- 32:15Speaker 10: Exactly I know how I know how close you are
- 32:18Speaker 10: with that?
- 32:18Speaker 1: You know? So Diddy is still fighting in court.
- 32:22Speaker 15: Oh gosh.
- 32:23Speaker 1: He sued Courtney Burgess this past January for fifty million
- 32:29Speaker 1: dollars for defamation. Yesterday, according to court documents, Burgess attorney
- 32:37Speaker 1: Ariel Mitchell, and the new news broadcaster News Nation are
- 32:42Speaker 1: named as defendants. Now he wants a hundred million for
- 32:47Speaker 1: the severe reputational harm outlandish claims media frenzy. In this
- 33:00Speaker 1: pitiful spectacle, all pretense of objectivity has been abandoned as
- 33:07Speaker 1: a global audience feasts at the all you can eat
- 33:11Speaker 1: buffet of wild lies and conspiracy theories. I need these
- 33:15Speaker 1: lawyers on my side. Mitchell and Burgers are among the
- 33:19Speaker 1: worst perpetrators in this offensive scenario. They eagerly court every
- 33:26Speaker 1: opportunity to broadcast blatant falsehoods, pretending they have proof that
- 33:32Speaker 1: mister Combs engaged in heinus acts, knowing that no such
- 33:37Speaker 1: proof exists. The attorney's accused News Nation, in its coverage
- 33:43Speaker 1: of Burgess's claims, all lending its credibility to and amplifying
- 33:50Speaker 1: Burgess and Mitchell's lies, giving them a mainstream media platform
- 33:56Speaker 1: to malign Puff Daddy. I'll put that in for defendant's
- 34:01Speaker 1: collective profit. Man, this just sounds horrible. I sure hope
- 34:07Speaker 1: this Puffy gets uh gets justice, don't you.
- 34:12Speaker 10: No, I don't. I hope he stays in jail.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Well, you know he is still in prison. He is,
- 34:27Speaker 1: So we got that. We got that going for it. Yeah,
- 34:32Speaker 1: Now he wants a hundred million.
- 34:35Speaker 15: He's like, there's no proof because I destroyed all the proof.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I want a hundred million. I'm gonna get these guys
- 34:43Speaker 1: on something.
- 34:44Speaker 10: I'm not even that picky. I'll take just one million.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Nah, you can't do anything.
- 34:50Speaker 15: Please, Nah.
- 34:53Speaker 10: I mean I could get out of the debt I
- 34:54Speaker 10: currently have.
- 34:55Speaker 1: That'sum cha.
- 34:59Speaker 10: I'll take what I can get. I'm not that I'm
- 35:01Speaker 10: not that up picky.
- 35:02Speaker 1: You're gonna go let's go.
- 35:06Speaker 10: Well there's that, so I guess we'll keep you updated
- 35:10Speaker 10: on what other legal battles. New day, new legal battle
- 35:14Speaker 10: for Dinny. Yeah, but let's let's let's talk about something
- 35:18Speaker 10: a little bit more somber.
- 35:20Speaker 15: On July sixteenth, as the twenty eighth anniversary of his mother,
- 35:24Speaker 15: Princess Dianna's death loomed, Prince Harry did take a walk
- 35:28Speaker 15: through my minefield in Gola, retracing the brave steps Diana
- 35:34Speaker 15: took nearly three decades ago to shine a light on
- 35:36Speaker 15: the hidden horrors of war. Just weeks earlier, on what
- 35:40Speaker 15: would have been his mother's sixty fourth birthday, July first,
- 35:44Speaker 15: Prince William didn't honor her legacy in England, celebrating the
- 35:47Speaker 15: second anniversary of Homewards His mission to end homelessness, an
- 35:52Speaker 15: issue that Diana championed and introduced to her sons, but
- 35:56Speaker 15: was once a shared mission to honor their mother, now
- 35:59Speaker 15: unfolds on step paths with no communication between the two
- 36:02Speaker 15: of them. We all remember the days when Harry and
- 36:05Speaker 15: William were joshing with one another, and it seemed to
- 36:10Speaker 15: set it all seems sorry, set for the relationship and
- 36:14Speaker 15: teacher that Harry, as Diana always used to say, would
- 36:18Speaker 15: be William's wingman.
- 36:21Speaker 10: It's a great loss for the monarchy.
- 36:23Speaker 15: The brothers grew up sharing a royal life and experience
- 36:26Speaker 15: only they can understand, whethering their parents' scandalous divorce and
- 36:30Speaker 15: enduring the unbearable pain of losing Diana after that car
- 36:33Speaker 15: crash in Paris on August thirty first, nineteen ninety seven
- 36:37Speaker 15: when her sons were fifteen and twelve, but now their
- 36:39Speaker 15: worlds are apart. Separation did extend to the next generation
- 36:43Speaker 15: and Windsir William and Kate Middleton are raising Prince George,
- 36:47Speaker 15: Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis across the Atlantic, and in California,
- 36:52Speaker 15: we know Megan and Harry are raising Prince Archie and
- 36:56Speaker 15: Princess Lily. The cousins have not been seen together in
- 36:59Speaker 15: public since twenty nineteen.
- 37:01Speaker 10: Before Lily was born.
- 37:02Speaker 15: Their fleet You did explode, as we all know, to
- 37:05Speaker 15: public view in twenty twenty when the Duke hit Duchess
- 37:07Speaker 15: of Sussex step back and the royal duties. So that
- 37:11Speaker 15: was the initial riff that kind of sparked everything.
- 37:14Speaker 10: But things are just not looking good. It's really sad.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Why can't we all just get along?
- 37:22Speaker 10: I don't think Diana would be very happy.
- 37:24Speaker 1: To hear this, you know, no sad. I think she
- 37:29Speaker 1: would put it into all of this fussic and feuding.
- 37:32Speaker 10: I mean yeah and yeah.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I think she would put a contract out on Megan
- 37:37Speaker 1: to end it all.
- 37:40Speaker 15: I don't know.
- 37:40Speaker 10: I think she would get her revenge on King Charles
- 37:45Speaker 10: as much as she could.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe so, maybe so, she would have she'd have
- 37:50Speaker 1: a list. I do have some good news.
- 37:53Speaker 10: Good hit us with it.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Two men allegedly connected to the burglary of Brad Pitt's
- 37:58Speaker 1: home on June twenty fifth have been arrested. Jacory Arman
- 38:05Speaker 1: Watson and Demari Zier Charles, both eighteen, were arrested yesterday
- 38:11Speaker 1: on first degree burglary charges and sentencing enhancement for allegedly
- 38:16Speaker 1: committing the act in concert with another person. They targeted
- 38:22Speaker 1: another residence last week. They're being held without bond. They
- 38:28Speaker 1: could face up to six years in prison, but this
- 38:31Speaker 1: being California, a judge will just say, hey, you boys
- 38:35Speaker 1: are free. Just don't do this anymore. The pair was
- 38:38Speaker 1: part of a group of people who had been breaking
- 38:41Speaker 1: into several homes across SoCal The arrest comes over a
- 38:45Speaker 1: month after Pitt's home in la was broken into on
- 38:50Speaker 1: June twenty fifth. The alleged burglary occurred about ten thirty
- 38:54Speaker 1: in the evening. After the suspects broke into the residence
- 38:58Speaker 1: via a front window, they ransacked the location fled with
- 39:05Speaker 1: miscellaneous property. Pitt wasn't home at the time. While the
- 39:10Speaker 1: two have been identified. A third suspect has not yet
- 39:16Speaker 1: been identified.
- 39:18Speaker 10: I didn't even know his house got broken into. I'm
- 39:21Speaker 10: being honest.
- 39:21Speaker 1: You know that's I don't remember that. It's been so
- 39:26Speaker 1: long ago. It's been well over a month ago.
- 39:29Speaker 10: I don't was over a decade ago.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a long time, so we don't know.
- 39:37Speaker 10: No, a lighter news. Let's talk about Haley Beaber's style.
- 39:40Speaker 10: Why not?
- 39:40Speaker 1: What's Haley up too?
- 39:42Speaker 10: You know she is just dotty for summer chif you know.
- 39:46Speaker 15: On Monday, So yesterday, the Road founder posted photos on
- 39:51Speaker 15: her Instagram for her perfect weekend attending pal Kylie Jenner's
- 39:54Speaker 15: twenty eight birthday.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Oh wait, wait, wait, wait wait Kylie Jenner at a
- 39:58Speaker 1: birthday party and we were invited.
- 40:02Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 15: I mean I'm not surprised because even if I was invited,
- 40:06Speaker 15: I would have forgot to respectfully declined. But yes, apparently
- 40:13Speaker 15: yes eight who knew and shared a glimpse into her
- 40:16Speaker 15: summary outfit for the occasion.
- 40:18Speaker 10: She was first snapped at Jenner's birthday party wearing a
- 40:21Speaker 10: white and red polka dot Dan La Garcia mini dress
- 40:26Speaker 10: and what appeared to be a pair of Prada leather
- 40:29Speaker 10: long sandals. She sat on the beach on a patio
- 40:33Speaker 10: holding a glass of red wine.
- 40:35Speaker 15: The skin Gare Mogul was seen posing in the same
- 40:38Speaker 15: dress outfit repeater while standing outdoors in a grassy backyard
- 40:43Speaker 15: at sunset. Cushions and blankets were seen sprawled out on
- 40:46Speaker 15: the ground in the background for a relaxed birthday setting.
- 40:49Speaker 15: And another photo, Bieber was sported a more casual look
- 40:53Speaker 15: of a white top and blue dark blue baggy jeans
- 40:56Speaker 15: as she stood barefoot outdoors.
- 40:59Speaker 10: So she did include a photo of plates of waffles,
- 41:02Speaker 10: French toast.
- 41:03Speaker 1: And pasta that I promise you dolls are eating that.
- 41:11Speaker 10: She said a nice sniff. Ye got her fix.
- 41:15Speaker 5: And moved on.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Yeah, none of them are eating that.
- 41:19Speaker 15: She was included in a video uh that she shared
- 41:23Speaker 15: uh from dinner Kylie. However, she shared her birthday celebration
- 41:27Speaker 15: on Instagram. She was seen in a clip blowing out
- 41:29Speaker 15: her candles at the table while sitting both side her
- 41:32Speaker 15: pal who was.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Filming this special good for.
- 41:37Speaker 10: She needed a nice break.
- 41:39Speaker 1: That sounds just awesome.
- 41:42Speaker 10: I mean, being married to Justin, I'm sure it can
- 41:44Speaker 10: be a lot. So I'm sure celebrate.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Is Kylie married?
- 41:50Speaker 10: No, No, she's still dating Timothy Shall.
- 41:55Speaker 1: That's gonna last for us.
- 41:56Speaker 15: I think I don't know, you know, I haven't haven't
- 41:59Speaker 15: caught up with Kylie in a hot side get So.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Jennifer Andison did a cover story for Vanity Fair came
- 42:07Speaker 1: out yesterday. She name drops for the celebrities that The
- 42:13Speaker 1: Morning Show star counts as good friends, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel,
- 42:20Speaker 1: Sandra Bullock, but she revealed her inner circle also includes
- 42:27Speaker 1: ex hubby Brad Pitt's ex fiance, Gwyneth Paltrow. The two
- 42:35Speaker 1: met while friends. Co star David Schwimmer was filming The
- 42:40Speaker 1: Pallbearer with Paltrow, and ironically, I went to her and
- 42:46Speaker 1: Brad's engagement party. When asked if they ever talked about
- 42:51Speaker 1: their shared X, of course, she said, how can we not.
- 42:56Speaker 1: We're girls, But more than anything, we're always swapping advice.
- 43:04Speaker 1: What are you doing for this? What are you doing
- 43:06Speaker 1: for that? Paltrow, who's thirty two, and Pitt, who's sixty one,
- 43:16Speaker 1: were the Hollywood it couple after co starring in the
- 43:20Speaker 1: film Seven. They were engaged in nineteen ninety six, but
- 43:25Speaker 1: split a few months later. Innocent, of course, married to
- 43:31Speaker 1: Pitt in two thousand, divorced in two thousand and five.
- 43:39Speaker 15: Well, you know he has trouble now.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I think he's got his life together now, So I
- 43:50Speaker 1: don't know. Kathy Griffins had another facelift. The comedian took
- 43:57Speaker 1: to her YouTube show last week to confirm it, her third,
- 44:03Speaker 1: after Papa Razzi photos started making the rounds as outlets
- 44:08Speaker 1: commented on her quote, very taut appearance, very taut.
- 44:15Speaker 10: Her face third one third face.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Lift, very taut, is very true, she said, new face lift,
- 44:23Speaker 1: same Kathy, I have a new face you guys, I
- 44:28Speaker 1: had a face lift, giving a shout out to her surgeon,
- 44:32Speaker 1: doctor Ben Tale. The doctor previously worked on Sia, who
- 44:39Speaker 1: gave him an award while debuting her own facelift a
- 44:44Speaker 1: couple of years ago. First of all, it's I don't
- 44:48Speaker 1: know who Sia is. Sorry, I have no idea who
- 44:54Speaker 1: Sia is.
- 44:55Speaker 10: She's a singer.
- 44:56Speaker 15: She sings a lot of songs like she had a
- 44:58Speaker 15: leer or it doesn't matter.
- 45:00Speaker 1: First of all, it's funny Seva Sia even got a
- 45:03Speaker 1: face left because you don't ever see her face, she said,
- 45:07Speaker 1: But the pictures sold me. No, he didn't do it
- 45:11Speaker 1: for free. He looks at you, and he's like, you
- 45:15Speaker 1: got a lot of problem areas. I can't fix that.
- 45:18Speaker 1: You got to live with this part. I can do this.
- 45:20Speaker 1: We're going to move this around, give it a good yank.
- 45:26Speaker 1: She had work on her eyelids. My third is so vain.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I'm so vain for no reason. No one has ever
- 45:35Speaker 1: gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful,
- 45:37Speaker 1: youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is
- 45:41Speaker 1: what I want. I don't want you to come to
- 45:44Speaker 1: care about what I look like. She said, I'm gonna
- 45:47Speaker 1: be honest, it's painful. It's a tooth filled It's not nothing.
- 45:55Speaker 1: It's painful. She said she had drains that come out
- 45:59Speaker 1: of your chin. In admitting quote, it's so gross.
- 46:07Speaker 10: Look, I'm not knocking people at a face list. If
- 46:09Speaker 10: you want to facelift, get a facelift.
- 46:11Speaker 15: But I guess it's weird that she says she has
- 46:14Speaker 15: all this work done and says, I don't care what
- 46:16Speaker 15: you think about my.
- 46:17Speaker 1: Face, right, So why are you doing it? Right?
- 46:22Speaker 10: I mean, I guess you should feel good in your
- 46:24Speaker 10: own scanner face.
- 46:26Speaker 16: I don't know.
- 46:28Speaker 10: You know what Kathy?
- 46:29Speaker 15: You do?
- 46:29Speaker 17: You boo?
- 46:30Speaker 10: If that's what makes you happy. You get a you know,
- 46:33Speaker 10: you wait a couple of years and you go ahead
- 46:35Speaker 10: and get that force.
- 46:36Speaker 1: I gotta be honest with you. She was always like
- 46:39Speaker 1: a seer dalist celebrity and now you never hear of her.
- 46:43Speaker 1: So I think she got the facelift done so she
- 46:46Speaker 1: could interview with somebody and say, hey, look at me,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I've got a facelift.
- 46:51Speaker 15: So I mean that's her plan.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Good, good honor. Talking about let's do birthdays. Son Ian
- 47:01Speaker 1: Anderson of jethro Tull turned seventy eight on Sunday. Rosanna
- 47:06Speaker 1: Arquette turned sixty six. My gosh, that's hard to believe.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Angie Harmon ooh, she could act in her day. She
- 47:19Speaker 1: turned fifty three. I thought, frankly she was older than that.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson turned No, I'm sorry. Jennifer Hansen, country singer
- 47:31Speaker 1: never heard of her, turned fifty two on Sunday.
- 47:35Speaker 10: It's your lucky day. You accidentally got a birthday shut out.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Yeah, whoever you are, birthday, congratulations, whoever you are. Right,
- 47:45Speaker 1: let's see yesterday. Jim Cale of the guests who turned
- 47:49Speaker 1: eighty two. John Conley Rose Colored Glasses turned seventy nine, yesterday.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Viola Davis, who she can act. Okay, she turned sixty yesterday.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Joe Rogan, who had hurt himself if he fell off
- 48:05Speaker 1: of all his money, moved to Austin doing that podcast
- 48:09Speaker 1: getting hundreds of millions of dollars, turned fifty eight yesterday.
- 48:16Speaker 1: And a gun from Breaking Bad. Oh, I love that show.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Turned fifty seven yesterday. She was Heisenberg's sister in law,
- 48:29Speaker 1: by the way, and a gun. Charlie Sexton turned fifty
- 48:32Speaker 1: seven yesterday. Oh, let's see, I don't know who that is.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I don't know who that is. Chris Hemsworth, one of
- 48:43Speaker 1: the Hemsworth Boys forty two yesterday. Parts of him. They've
- 48:48Speaker 1: all had work done, you know that. Yeah, Okay, let's
- 48:53Speaker 1: do today. Huh. George Hamilton, still with a perpetual tear
- 49:00Speaker 1: all these years later, is eighty six today.
- 49:05Speaker 10: It's a lifestyle really, Yes, yes, it is. Jennifer Warren, okay,
- 49:11Speaker 10: eighty four.
- 49:11Speaker 1: Oh, she could act in her day. Mark Knopfler of
- 49:14Speaker 1: dire Straits, he can play a little guitar. Seventy six today.
- 49:20Speaker 10: Oh, sir, mix a lot. I don't know why I
- 49:23Speaker 10: assumed he was older than six.
- 49:26Speaker 1: We have not heard from Sir mix a lot in
- 49:28Speaker 1: a while. I gotta tell you.
- 49:30Speaker 15: Come back. Yeah, you collab with Taylor.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see. No, I'm trying Casey affleck Ben's les
- 49:44Speaker 1: less famous brother is fitty today.
- 49:49Speaker 10: Hey, Karen dan Levian, remember she hosted that party with
- 49:52Speaker 10: all those celebs.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Oh that's right, that's right.
- 49:55Speaker 10: She's thirty three today.
- 49:56Speaker 1: That was like a birthday early birthday party last week.
- 50:00Speaker 10: It must have been. Okay, you don't want to interfere
- 50:04Speaker 10: with Kylie's you know.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I guess let's see Maggie Lawson's forty five today.
- 50:13Speaker 15: Okay, there's that, and.
- 50:15Speaker 1: That's about it, honestly, you know, well not really, but hey,
- 50:21Speaker 1: if it's your birthday, go crazy. You know what I'm saying.
- 50:25Speaker 10: We gave some effort, not a lot.
- 50:27Speaker 1: You're not well, we turned on the switch, So I
- 50:32Speaker 1: don't know what people want for us. Okay, this was

- 52:22Speaker 19: last six games to potentially make the playoffs, and GM
- 52:25Speaker 19: Chris Young spoke them what they need to do.
- 52:27Speaker 20: I want to win all six games, and I think
- 52:29Speaker 20: they are important games for two reasons. The first of
- 52:33Speaker 20: which is it's really important for us to finish above
- 52:35Speaker 20: five hundred. I think, in spite of everything we've been
- 52:38Speaker 20: through this year, we can finish above five hundred, and
- 52:41Speaker 20: you know, look at the season and you know, in
- 52:43Speaker 20: some ways see how close we were, in other ways
- 52:46Speaker 20: say okay, we've we've got to be better. I think
- 52:49Speaker 20: that's an important benchmark for us to get above five
- 52:52Speaker 20: hundred and finish strong. And then secondly, you know, we're
- 52:55Speaker 20: playing Cleveland in the last three games and they're playing
- 52:58Speaker 20: for something, and we have an obligation to the league
- 53:01Speaker 20: to give our best effort to make sure that we
- 53:03Speaker 20: have an impact on their pennant race and then we
- 53:07Speaker 20: give it our best.
